Restaurant
Jackson's Bar and Oven is a trendy hangout spot with stylish decor, known for its wood-fired pizza, diverse bar food, and creative cocktails. Located in downtown Santa Rosa at the corner of 4th street and Railroad Square, it offers a lighthearted atmosphere with playful cocktail names like '99 Problems (But Drink Ain't One)' and 'Ghetto Cowboy.' The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, making the experience enjoyable.
Had a great experience at this spot! The beet salad was fresh and flavorful—definitely a highlight. Drinks were on point, and the mocktails were creative and fun (though one leaned a little sweet for my taste). The truffle fries? Absolutely addictive. Overall, a solid place for a chill night out with good food and good vibes. Would come back for sure!

My mom & I were exploring the old railroad square and stumbled upon this place doing so. I'm so happy we did! We came on a week day late afternoon/ early evening and there were some people, but not too crowded. We sat at the bar and had a drink & ordered a pizza. The bar tender was super nice & attentive. I got the Painted Lady drink which was good, not too sweet or strong. The wood fired pizza is amazing. I got the house made sausage one and it was incredible. The crust and toppings were just perfect! I would definitely come back here again when in the area!

While staying in downtown Santa Rosa, we came here one evening for drinks before having dinner elsewhere. The place was packed around 5:30PM, but we found a couple of seats at the bar. The bartender was helpful and attentive. I noticed they had a nice collection of spirits, including Chartreuse, which is somewhat difficult to find, especially as “regular” bars, as mostly craft cocktail places seem to have it. The drinks we had were very good. If we ever come back, I’d definitely try a pizza, as they have a brick oven.

First time here...we had lunch, sharing the Heirloom tomato salad, Shishito peppers and chicken picatta meatballs with fried polenta. YUMMMMM! Everything was beautifully presented, perfectly cooked and so delicious! And even though we were full, we couldn't resist the peaches and cream dessert of authentic cheesecake, peaches in syrup topped with cinnamon shivered almonds. What a lovely lunch! Nick, our waiter, was excellent, adorable and attentive. I wanted to take him to meet my single daughter....lol

We were drawn to this restaurant based off location and mocktail options. I had the Eagle Eye Cherry mocktail, I highly recommend it for its tart, unique-fresh taste. I also had the lamb stuffed flat-bread with greek salad. I admit I was concerned about portion size until it arrived, I couldn't even finish it (pictured below). The lamb was seasoned well and paired well with the hummus. The wife had The Burger and described it as flavorful, with a perfect potato bun, and a THICC patty (misspelled on purpose). A couple of small complaints: while we praise them for their extensive beverage options including mocktails, they did not seem to have a ton of food options and the burger was "slightly dry." That being said it was a wonderful place with friendly staff and we both agreed we would happily come back. Give it a try.
Brian R — Google review
We took our two grandkids there early on a Saturday evening. The staff was so accommodating! They quickly sat us at a table and even quicker brought two complimentary kid's appetizers. The boys were so hungry....did they know all hell might break lose at any moment? The appetizers saved the day. We quickly ordered meals for them. While their meals were being prepared, we took our time looking over the menu. Their food came out quickly, but we never saw our server again to place our food order. Fortunately, the kid's orders were HUGE and we ate a bit of theirs. When they brought the check, we ordered a burger to go. The burger was out quickly and everyone was still happy. (It's likely that after we placed the order for the kids, our sever thought that was all we were getting. No harm done.)
Pat K — Google review
Everything about our experience was wonderful. Our server, Hope, was accommodating when we expressed our desire to move at a slower pace. The timing between Cocktails, Appetizer , dinner then dessert was perfectly paced. All of the staff were efficient and attentive without being intrusive. The team really do work well together. The food was amazing. Chicken piccata meatballs with crispy Polenta, hamburger with truffle fries, brick chicken, beignets and espresso martinis. EVERYTHING exceeded our culinary expectations. The service was phenomenal.

On our way back from Point Arena, we stopped at this place for lunch on a Sunday Afternoon. The place was moderately occupied, we were shown to our table almost immediately. The staff here is really nice with a smile always! We were waiting for the rest of us to join so they patiently handled our order. The cocktails here are a must try. We loved the truffle fries and the skillet garlic bread so much that we went for a second serving (must try). The food here will not disappoint you, every dish we ordered was amazing. Will definitely recommend this place. Can’t wait to go back.

Restaurant
Russian River Brewing Company is a lively and cozy spot that offers specialty pizza, pub food, and California-style ales. The brewery's location in downtown Santa Rosa benefits from the clean waters of the Russian River, which contribute to the exceptional quality of their beers. One of their most famous brews is Pliny the Elder, an Imperial IPA that has gained global recognition.
We were inside (was boisterous!), moved outside since we had someone with hearing aids. Sat on the patio, got an iced tea, a sav blanc and Pliny the Elder. Cool air was nice! Took a chance on the spin dip - it did NOT disappoint. We ate it so fast I forgot to take a picture of what it looked like. It was that dense and delicious inside with a layer of baked cheese on top. Crispy, yet gooey alongside the quality inside. The pita bread was on point, too. The pizza was great (the New Yorker), but 3 adults had 3 pieces left over with the spin dip + drinks. $110 including tip. Happy Hour mostly applies to the beers (4p - 6:30p :) ). Definitely give it a go!
Jannjer C — Google review
Food is pretty standard mainly pizzas. Good food but my wife was hoping for more variety. Beer selection was solid as expected. Order pizza, chicken wings and garlic cheese bread. We got here when it opened so we were able to find seating pretty easily but it got packed quickly so we got lucky. Parking was easy to find because it was Sunday but I can imagine the parking gets tough to find. Would come here again
Brian C — Google review
If I were only rating the beer and its selection, I would give Russian River Brewing Company 5 stars. The beer is amazing! I really enjoy getting the flights and trying all the beer available. I think it’s the best way to figure out what you like and then follow your favorites on future visits. Unfortunately, I would give only 2 or maybe 3 stars to the pizza. We had the Mikey pizza, and while it wasn't terrible, I can’t say it was that good either. The pizza had a good crispy crust, which I liked, but the sauce and toppings didn't bring much flavor. Service is a good 4. Our waitress was nice and checked on us from time to time. On busy days it can be hard to find good seating, and parking nearby can also be a challenge. Overall, I enjoy coming here mainly for the drinks. My favorites are Happy Hops (IPA), MIND CIRCUS (Hazy IPA), and VELVET GLOW (Helles-Style Lager).
Karolina H — Google review
The best beer flight I've ever had. Service was great. Both the chicken wings with Pliny sauce that I got and the pizza my brother got were absolutely on point. Not sure how it could have been better. Definitely going back!

Very cool place to eat. It was a little cool the evening we stopped in, but nice enough that we decided to eat outside (also it was pretty loud inside and decided we'd much rather be able to hear each other). We got their baked spinach and artichoke dip appetizer and it was amazing. We ordered their wings with the sweet chili sauce to share and kind of wished we had tried a different sauce as we didn't like this one as much as we thought we would. We also ordered their Simcoe Calzone (we asked to add artichoke as well). For some reason, it just tasted kind of bland, and yet still had way too much garlic. Just wasn't what we were looking for. We did order a scoop of ice cream for dessert to finish it all off (and help with the garlic lol). But it was a fun experience in a really cute, smallish downtown area and would like to try it again. (Apologies for the picture - didn't realize we hadn't taken a picture of all the food until it was almost gone).

Sat at the bar last Saturday and Sunday night. Had a blast. Great beer, friendly bartenders, solid pizza, and great conversations with friendly folks I met at the bar. This pub has an awesome friendly old school charm that makes you want to revisit.
Michael S — Google review
We truly enjoyed our time here. We knew we would be drinking some great IPAs but were happily surprised with how much we loved the Belgium style brews. The flight was a great way to try everything and a reasonable price. We had a pizza that was solid and our serve was friendly and attentive. Loads of easy street parking and easy to get a table on a Sunday afternoon. We didn't bring our kids but they would have been very welcome in the space.
Elizabeth — Google review
My husband is a long time fan of RRBC and Pliny the Elder. We finally made it here all the way from Pittsburgh PA and it did not disappoint. We did the full flight (husband did the California beers, I did the Belgium) and our wonderful waiter Antone walked us through the whole thing. The gift store was closed, but Antone made sure we got our souvenirs anyway! We were expecting great beers, the service was the cherry on top!

Belly Left Coast Kitchen & Taproom offers a rustic-cool setting to enjoy West Coast-influenced New American cuisine, along with a selection of wines and brews. On Taco Tuesdays, guests can indulge in street tacos, margarita carafes, and the Taco Tuesday Combo featuring tequila shots and Modelo Especial beer. Took my family here for lunch and it was fabulous! We have 3 young children which often makes going out very difficult! The server was wonderful and patient, the food was fast and delicious! The French fries have a great flavor. The burgers were awesome. We will definitely go again!
Belinda W — Google review
The food at Belly Left was absolutely delicious! The tres brisket tacos were packed with flavor, and the American Wagyu beef bacon cheeseburger was cooked to perfection. The fries? Easily some of the best I’ve ever had. Highly recommend!
Juana S — Google review
The food was great ( pull pork nachos were incredible), the beer selection was on point and the location was perfect! But what I really enjoyed was speaking with the owners and staff! They were so kind and I enjoyed their perspective of Santa Rosa vs the Bay Area. I will look forward to visiting them again next time I’m in the area 👍
Santa A — Google review
Belly is our favorite espresso martini in Sonoma county. We come on martini Monday to get them, I think they just added them to their menu it’s called the “wake up call”. We seriously can’t get enough of these. Also the pork belly burnt ends are the BEST!! Dynamite shrimp, cheese curds, and the rosemary steak bites are pretty dang good too. We will continue coming here probably twice a month!!
Keegan S — Google review
Stopped in today to just get a quick bite. Ordered from the happy hour menu and got their burger slider. Don't think I've ever had a worse slider. Put something on it besides a burger and lettuce. Could have used some caramelized or pickled onions a little relish catch up or mayonnaise anything but just a piece of meat and lettuce. Was pretty sad. They weren't that busy and the service was pretty darn slow. I know happy hour meals are cheaper but they should still be good.
Terry R — Google review
If you enjoy a nice cold beer and sports or a glass of wine after a long day of work to relax your brain, Belly Left Coast Kitchen and Taproom is the place to be! As you can tell from their title “left coast,” they focus their menu and a greater part of their beers and wines towards the west coast like Alaska, Washington, Oregon, California, and Hawaii. This is your casual, sit back, and watch tv sort of American restaurant. It has two sides to it. Both of of them have bars. I love the outdoor lights they hang around their sign as well as the general outdoor seating area. It makes the place look very inviting in the evening. It is located in downtown Santa Rosa next to plenty of other restaurants such as Asian, Peruvian, or French food. It is near the old courthouse square, Hotel E, and even the plaza mall. They have parking alongside the streets as well as two parking lots near the old courthouse square which you do pay the meter for. This restaurant is wheelchair accessible. They have 26 beers on tap, specialty cocktails and you can hire them for private events. They have a theme for each day of the week like wine Wednesday and taco Tuesday. As for the food I had the Surf and turf fish tacos and my friend, although I can’t remember the dish name and I don’t think it’s on the menu anymore, had some sort of pasta that was absolutely delicious. It had a kick of spice to it which I loved and I thought it added to the flavor. The picture will be down below. As for the tacos they were also very good although I think they added too much bacon. Other than that the green sauce on the side went well with it and I love the metal holder they have for the tacos. It really reduces the mess and overall has a better look to it. Our waiter was nice and let us take our time. I would recommend trying and I would give this place another chance myself!

A Smash Hit at Belly Left Coast Kitchen & Taproom! If you're in Santa Rosa and craving a truly exceptional burger experience, look no further than Belly Left Coast Kitchen & Taproom. This spot has quickly become a local favorite, and for good reason – especially if you're a fan of a perfectly executed smash burger. I recently had the pleasure of trying their Double Smash Burger, and it was nothing short of phenomenal. From the first bite, you're hit with that incredible combination of crispy, caramelized edges on the patties, juicy, flavorful beef, and perfectly melted cheese. The brioche bun was soft yet sturdy enough to hold everything together, and the classic toppings (crisp lettuce, ripe tomato, tangy pickles, and their special sauce) complemented the rich meatiness without overpowering it. It's clear they use high-quality ingredients and pay attention to every detail, resulting in a burger that's both satisfyingly indulgent and incredibly well-balanced. Beyond the burger, Belly Left Coast Kitchen & Taproom offers a fantastic atmosphere. It's lively yet comfortable, with a great selection of local craft beers on tap that pair perfectly with their menu. While the Double Smash Burger is a definite highlight, don't miss out on their 3 Hog Mac n Cheese – it's a rich, creamy, and incredibly flavorful dish that's a perfect comfort food indulgence. The service was friendly and efficient, adding to the overall positive experience. Whether you're a burger connoisseur or just looking for a delicious and reliable meal in Santa Rosa, I wholeheartedly recommend giving Belly Left Coast Kitchen & Taproom a try. Their Double Smash Burger is a definite must-order!

I was writing a detailed review but honestly I keep it short because I could go on for days about how much this place has gone downhill. The restaurant and bar were dirty, drink menu was from 1999. The food menu gave me hope u til the food came out. It was inedible. The bartender could care less, never checked back with us and didn’t question the full drink pushed away from me. Same with the fries. We ate 2 fries and pushed them away. Save your money. We left hungry and disappointed.

Small plates restaurant
Wine bar
Willi's Wine Bar is a beloved Sonoma institution that has been serving eclectic small plates and local wines for over 15 years. After being destroyed in the 2017 wildfires, it reopened in a new location in 2019 with a sleek and contemporary space. The restaurant maintains its laid-back, friendly spirit and offers popular small plates like Moroccan lamb chops, curried crab tacos, and Tunisian roasted carrots.
My 2nd time here and everything was incredible! I drove from Santa Cruz for their calamari alone, the marmalade sauce is spot on ! We enjoyed it so much along with oysters rockefeller, bacon wrapped scallop BLTs, the pork belly potstickers (the sauce was superb), bbq duck with polenta (didn’t care for the cheddar in polenta yet still tasty), filet mignon sliders-SPECTACULAR! Then the finale with crème brûlée-the perfect balance of sweet and richness ..multiple Chefs Kisses! As others have said, the wine selection is good. Looking forward to the next visit!
Angela C — Google review
We were really looking forward to a meal here and were really disappointed. Service was fine. Ambience was fine. The food was mostly not great. The spicy shrimp were really good. The Brussels sprouts didn’t work at all. They were soggy and there were too many disjointed flavors. The carrots were too sweet. The lamb was fine but paired with a cold couscous was strange separately they were fine. We love other Stark restaurants and even ate lunch at Augie’s which was really good.

Willi’s Wine Bar is a charming spot tucked just off the main road in Santa Rosa, offering a cozy, laid-back vibe that’s perfect for a casual afternoon or evening out. Service was warm and attentive without feeling rushed, adding to the relaxed, wine-country feel.

Creative delicious small plates food. Goat cheese fritters, spinach salad were awesome. Bacon wrapped scallops were also good.

While in Sonoma for a few nights we stopped in here for cocktails before having dinner elsewhere on a weeknight. The bar here was rather busy when we arrived, but we still got a couple of seats at the bar. Service was excellent at the bar, the bartender was very helpful and knowledgeable. They have a very nice wine list, flights, and a great cocktail program. The food we saw coming out looked great, but as I mentioned, we only went for drinks. Definitely would return!
F'burg F — Google review
We ate here on a Thursday night, and they were rather busy. Service was very good. The young lady helping us was great with her suggestions and descriptions of the menu. It didn't take too long to be served. My husband really enjoyed his halibut. His Moroccan lamb chop was good--a single chop but large sized. He is used to people often overcooking it so he ordered it on the rare side and it came out exactly that (...so order it as you like it and it will probably be well prepared). I enjoyed my Mu Shu Bacon but it was a bit over salted. The cheese plate was good...ample sized slices of three cheeses with crackers and condiments. Overall, a good experience.
Bon L — Google review
Yeah, so. We chose Willi's as a last-minute option in the area we were for the day, and WHOA. I gotta say, this restaurant is smashing the small plates game. The BBQ pulled duck polenta blew out freaking minds in particular, as did the sea bass crudo and the flourless chocolate cake. Cocktail and wine flight options are a great time too. Muy delicioso.
Kelly — Google review
Their muffins, freshly baked daily in the house, made their filet mignon sliders outstanding. Everything else we ordered was also fresh and delicious. Dined on Saturday for lunch. Would definitely come back.

Nestled in the picturesque Vintners Inn in Santa Rosa, John Ash & Co. is a romantic destination offering Californian cuisine with a touch of old-world charm. The restaurant celebrates its 35th anniversary and the legacy of renowned chef John Ash, known as the 'father of Wine Country cuisine.' While no longer directly involved, his influence lives on through the culinary offerings sourced from local farmers and complemented by an extensive wine collection.
My husband and I went to Happy Hour to celebrate my birthday. It was a bright, sunny day and we sat on the patio, a lovely setting next to the vineyard. I ordered my favorite cocktail, the sidecar, which was perfectly prepared--refreshing and not-too-sweet with a slice of beautiful dried lemon floating on top. My husband had the mussels and fries and I had the pulled pork sliders. Both were delicious and served hot. When the server discovered it was my birthday celebration, she brought me a sampling of the bread pudding dessert (made from the morning's leftover pastries) with a bit of ice cream and a chocolate "Happy Birthday plaque." The service, ambiance and food made this a very special day for both of us.

Came here for brunch today and happy hour last night. How did I not know about this place?? Amazing vineyard views, a mile-long vineyard trail, excellent service, a pool that can be accessed via ResortPass, and more. This might be our new local hangout spot!!

Absolutely love their new lunch menu!! I’ve been twice in one week and it was incredible each time. I asked for the tacos vegetarian (which I’m not a vegetarian) and they were so delicious! I also very much appreciate the options of fresh pressed juices and wellness shots! I also love that the wellness shot was served on ice. The outdoor patio is so nice all year around and I love that they open up all of the windows on the covered patio. My lunch date had the macro bowl with salmon and he loved it, said it was the best lunch. Our new favorite lunch spot in Sonoma County!

Alan was such an amazing server and really made our Anniversary special. We definitely will be back and we hope to see Alan again! Thank you so much for going above and beyond. Also a big shout out to Andres, he was so attentive and sweet.

Food was great but the highlight of the trip was meeting Oliver. An incredible young man, Local to the area and went above and beyond to ensure that our experience was top notch. Truly hope this establishment values what an incredible and hospitable employee they have. With a background in HR, it’s great to see a younger generation with personable and work ethic skills that he has.

I love the ambience and service here. Food is very good but not my-head-is-spinning-cant-wait-to-go-back. Calamari starter good, but accompanying dipping sauce spicy! My friend had shrimp, again very spicy. I just think sometimes chefs try too hard, rather than making the ingredients stand for themselves. Bar is super cool, and bartender Matt B. Made me a great gin martinis.

Went with a group of 7 to Happy Hour which is from 2pm-5pm. I am sorry to say but the food is mediocre in quality and overprized. Just ordinary food, which you can get at every Golf or Fast Food place. Same goes for Happy Hour drinks. Overprized! Will never go back (paid $595/7 people). There is also a mandatory tip of 20% for a group over 6 (did not mind the tip and added some extra, even that service was slow)

Stark's Steak & Seafood is a classic steakhouse known for its dry-aged cuts, seafood options, and extensive whiskey selection. The restaurant is owned by Mark and Terri Stark, who also operate several other highly regarded dining establishments in Sonoma County. Despite its upscale atmosphere and top-tier steaks, Stark's exudes an air of sophistication without being overly pretentious. The restaurant features live piano music and an impressive array of liquors on display.
It was our first time dining at this restaurant, conveniently located near our hotel. We stopped by during happy hour, and the place had a clean, vibrant atmosphere that immediately stood out. It was fairly busy, which added to the lively energy. The food was delicious, and we enjoyed a nice glass of wine to top it off. A great experience overall—we’re glad we gave it a try!

Prices are good during happy hour—though the portions are definitely on the tiny side. Still, it’s a fun spot with a lively atmosphere. Just a heads-up: the bar gets super busy starting around 4:30 PM, so plan ahead if you want a seat!

I have to say that it’s been along time since we’ve had prime rib done so right as we had at Stark! Love the service by our lady bartender, the best dirty martini 🍸 made to perfection. And we love the atmosphere and vibe of classic deco and contemporary music mixed. We will surely be back again, next time we will try happy hours and sit at the bar to enjoy handcrafted cocktails. 🍹 thank you for an amazing night!

Now this was truly an excellent dining experience! We came here for dinner as we were staying very close by (the La Rose Hotel is only a couple of blocks away). Our server was friendly and helpful and the venue is beautiful, very “steakhouse’ish” in décor and all the service there was great. The menu is loaded with many incredible options and some funny notes too. If you’re lucky enough to get there while they still have some of the day’s smoked prime rib, I’d suggest giving it a try! In my case, I asked about it immediately and learned they had enough for 3 more portions, so I reserved one. We started with their shrimp cocktail and I generally always ask for extra horseradish and many places have wimpy, mild horseradish – Will, this isn’t one of those places! Their horseradish was LEGIT! It was so potent, it’s the spiciest I’ve ever had, even more so than Eddie V’s Atomic Horseradish! Definitely flavorful and worked great on those perfectly steamed, large shrimp! The entrees here were incredible too! The scallops were a thing of beauty and that prime rib was incredible! The smoke on it was perfect and offered the nicest hint of flavor. The mashed potatoes tasted great in the jus too! Save room for dessert, they have a very nice dessert menu! We’d definitely return when in the area!

We stopped by for their weekday happy hour (3–6 PM) and were seriously impressed. The menu had a fantastic selection of bites and drinks at very reasonable prices. No wonder it’s been voted “Best in Sonoma County” year after year! We ordered a spread that hit all the right notes: Crispy calamari with orange-chili gremolata…perfectly tender with a zesty kick Buttermilk onion rings…golden, crunchy, and addictive Poke tacos…fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented BBQ oysters…smoky and rich, a standout dish Prime rib banh mi…a genius fusion of steakhouse indulgence and Vietnamese flair The vibe was upscale yet relaxed, and the staff were friendly and attentive. If you’re in Santa Rosa and want elevated bites without breaking the bank, Stark’s happy hour is a must. We’ll definitely be back!

Great local steakhouse with top notch service and cocktails. Happy hour is one of the best bargains I’ve ever had: $6 Fords Martinis and lots of good deals. Very comfortable and friendly service.

The restaurant features a wide selection of over 180 artisan tequilas and tasting flights, making it a popular spot for tequila enthusiasts. I had an incredible experience at this restaurant! They had great happy hour which goes every day 4 pm to 6pm. The food was absolutely delicious, every dish was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. The service was just as impressive. The staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel right at home. It’s rare to find a place that combines great food with such warm hospitality. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fantastic meal and a wonderful atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back!

The place is very spacious, but because of its popularity, it fills up pretty quickly. We had shrimp and chicken fajitas with some chips. Everything tasted really good. It’s a little bit on the pricey side, but worth it.

2 years ago my now wife and I had our first date at La Rosa. It’s our favorite place to go for great food and drinks. Last weekend we had our wedding reception in the upstairs lounge and it was beyond what we expected! Emmy did an amazing job coordinating the event. A+ Emmy! The room itself is amazing with beautiful art and atmosphere perfect for a wedding reception. The bartenders were super friendly and happy, the main host/server was an on point professional. What stood out the most to us, was the genuine care and friendliness of all the staff to make the event wonderful. They felt like they were a part of our reception. And to top off this perfect experience, my wife lost her pop socket from her phone. And the next day, one of the downstairs staff members, happily went back upstairs and searched for the item, found it, and absolutely refused to accept a small tip for doing so. I feel like it’s those little things that make the difference and warranted the best review I can muster up. An absolutely perfect place for a reception, event or party! Especially for the price!

AMAZING experience! Such great food, everything was delicious and you can tell the ingredients used are higher quality than most. Can’t wait to go back, it was a total hit with my fiancé and sister(: We had a few margaritas and cocktails which were yummy too! The chips are thin and crisp, and salsa had the perfect amount of heat.

This upscale American restaurant has a large whiskey selection, award-winning cocktails and delicious food. The venue has an old school charm that makes it feel like a family gathering spot. Besides whiskey, they also make great cocktails and have local beers on the menu.
Jack, the owner, introduced himself while I was enjoying a flight of whisky, of which they have a great selection, including my favorite, Japanese Whisky. Jack was friendly and knowledge, happy to exchange stories and wisdom. I’ll be coming back at some point to try the food, which Jack himself sometimes cooks.

Jack & Tony's is the best whiskey bar in Santa Rosa. You will find a variety of Scottish, Bourbons, and Japanese whiskeys. Overall a good place to enjoy a dram of your favorite whiskey. Cheers!

I did not taste any of the food but at the bar area had some excellent bourbon. The staff was very knowledgable and the selection is amazing. It was a great just drinks experience that I had with my husband. I felt welcome and it was the perfect nightcap!! So update. Called to see if they were open. Said they were. 10 minutes later arrived and they said that they were closing due to the fires.....ugh!! Seriously let people know before it happens and they travel to you. It was our anniversary and we wanted to revisit a place that was great before.... So much for that. 😒

Absolutely worth a visit. I worked in high end food and beverage for a long time. Jack & Tony's knocks it out of the park. My MO is to order the burger on my first visit. If a restaurant can't do a great burger, I don't go back. J&T's was delicious: perfectly done, good quality meat. I would switch out the iceberg for butter lettuce, but that's just my preference. The cocktails were top notch; good alcohol and good ingredients. The whiskey list is impressive. We shared the butterscotch pudding for dessert. The pudding was rich with molasses. Another winner. In addition, we were seated quickly and the service was excellent I look forward to going back and working my way through the menu.
Susan J — Google review
I experienced the most delicious whiskey sour of my life, with one of my favorites-redbreast. The food was amazing and I was recommended a nice fume blanc to pair with the sea bass. The best part of my visit was my waitress, she was sharp and fun, my table spent our meal laughing.
Lauren F — Google review
Usually really like this place, but last night's meal just didn't stand up. I ordered a burger. The patty was good and had a nice charbroiled flavor, but the bun (not even grilled) was soft and mushy, like something you'd buy in a six-pack at a grocery chain. We also ordered the crabcakes and the scallops, both of which were horribly fishy. Menu, as usual, was pretty limited and is fairly pricey, which in my mind means the food should be spot on. Cocktail was pretty average too.
Dawn D — Google review
Each time I have gone here it has been a pleasant time. It strikes the right mood of casual and fun. The bar area is the place to be. The bartenders are always fun and the Happy Hour menu is pretty decent. I enjoy their mussels and the mac n cheese. The taquitos is also a nice order. They have a good selection of whiskeys to order from if that is something you enjoy. Beer selection is limited but they have so.e good choices.

Great drinks, really great drinks. If you want food they've got great food too. I'm going back, hopefully many times. Did I mention they have great drinks? Well they've got great drinks. This is an ideal place to go when downtown Santa Rosa turns into nightclub city for all the 21-33 year olds and you want a nice, quiet place, or not (but still much quieter than the kids clubs) place to have real drinks with other actual adults. Highly recommend this place to all the adults.

Tasty pastys - we had the mini vegetarian and the chicken pot pie. Unique taste. Fresh cut fries and a fresh salad. Great lunch for two! And friendly service to boot! We ordered for to go. Outside seating is available under umbrellas when it’s nice out!

I was truly sad to find out this place has been here for 15 years and I am just finding out about it. It is a great little English pub that is exactly like you would expect. The food was awesome and Ashley was a great bartender/server. I will go back!

Bloody Brilliant! Service, ambiance, and owner were the highlights of an Authentic British Pub in the heart of Santa Rosa. Will make this a frequent stop any time I'm in town. Sheppard's Pie, Guinness Beef Pasty and Mash, and Fish and Chips were the highlight. Curry Chips deserve an honorable mention!

Awesome spot to get some British food and a beer. It's definitely more of a bar than a restaurant, but the food is excellent. Highly recommend the bangers and mash. I went with an obnoxiously large group of coworkers and the staff did a tremendous job busting their tails to help us. Sorry we didn't give any notice for such a large group, and thank you for accommodating us.

It's a bar but very British, with keg London Pride, Old Speckled Hen and a good range of US 'craft beers. Loads of ciders for those who like that sort of thing. Food is pasties, fish & chips (for those who like that sort of thing) + some more 'local' specialities such as Philly Sandwich. The bartender is from Wolverhampton (and sounds like it).

Fogbelt Brewing Company, established in 2013 by Paul Hawley and Remy Martin, is a local brewery located in Santa Rosa. The taproom offers a short menu featuring wings, burgers, and fries to pair with their craft beers. The brewery pays homage to the North Coast by naming each flagship beer after a coastal redwood tree. From the refreshing Atlas Blonde Ale to the robust Armstrong Stout, there's a diverse selection of beers on tap for enthusiasts to enjoy.
The BEST Elote Nachos I’ve ever had!! We had went hiking in the morning so this was a great reward! The beers were good, staff was friendly. They offered indoor and outdoor seating. But the nachos hit the spot! So full of flavor!

Our go-to spot for date days and nights—always a favorite! The food is consistently amazing, and we especially love visiting during the food and beer pairings. The customer service is top-notch every time. Must-try highlights: the Elote Nachos, Fogbelt Burger, and Birria Tacos. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Fog belt has expanded since the last time I visited. I was impressed by their wings. The Smashburger was exactly what I was waiting for when I came to have a burger at fog belt. The kids menu is excellent and filling for a child. This visit had an impressive beer lineup. I would give it a five star if it wasn’t overwhelmed by cigarette smoke from the smoke shop next-door. The staff was supper attentive to our table, however I did over hear some ill treatment of the kitchen staff due to their turnover. I don’t completely know the circumstances but I hope the kitchen has the support they need because the food is coming out fire🔥

Good beer and overall a good a beer selection. Very chill and friendly atmosphere, dog friendly. Service is on point, but tonight the kitchen killed it. The food, Diego’s Smashed burger and fries were great. The food came out quick, hot, and tasted great.

I’ve come here many times since moving to Santa Rosa a few years ago and it never disappoints. Usually not overly crowded, friendly service, casual but nice ambiance, and (of course) great beer. They have a few cider and wine options just in case too. They recently updated their menu, keeping some old favorites and adding some new options. Great quality food. Follow them on social media for pairing specials and events.

Staff is extremely friendly and the food is absolutely amazing! If you ever go, I highly recommend the elote nachos and tacos. Beers are not bad. There's bound to be at least one you'll love. Went to Lagunitas the other day and I would, hands down, prefer this place. LOVE IT.
Cathy J — Google review
We stopped here randomly after one of our usual spots was closed, and we are glad we did! It’s going to become one of our regular spots when passing through! Fogbelt has both inside and outside seating, as well as barstool seating along the main bar. The covered outside seating has about five large tables, as well as space heaters mounted along the ceiling making seating comfortable when the weather is cold. They do offer high chairs for younger kids. They have a great selection of beers on tap, as well as a regular menu with a variety of items ranging fro appetizers to burgers and local favorites. They also have a kids menu with around five different kids meals. The prices were very reasonable for the quality of food, and we look forward to trying more of their dishes in the future. The staff were extremely friendly and took the time to not only check in regarding our meals and drinks, but also to chat with our two young children. Parking is available across two of the sides of their building, and also along the street. There are also both men’s and women’s restrooms available in the corridor of the building.

REALLY great food! We had fun sampling beers we would normally never buy, but the wait to get somebody to acknowledge our need for a box was sad. The even longer wait to receive the check was even worse. They removed our plates. They removed the beer samples. My husband left the table to have his after dinner cigarette and then waited in the car before our server FINALLY brought the check. Then the wait for him to pick it up was excruciating. My husband finally had to come back to find out if anything was wrong. In the time it's taken us to be checked out, my review has gone from 5 stars to 3 stars, and I'm still waiting.

Had dinner here on Thursday (12/1); it was a cold and rainy day so we had the bar to ourselves. We arrived with a few minutes left of happy hour so we got some wine and an order of the wings+fries. They were both delicious! The wings were big and meaty with a great dry rub. The calamari was good and the dipping sauce was super spicy, exactly how I like it. I tried the tres chile mezcal cocktail and that was really nice, a good amount of spice to it. We ended with the burger and it was definitely the highlight of the food; it was cooked perfectly. They even split it for us which we didn't ask but did appreciate. They went above and beyond. They have a great wines by the glass list. The highlight of the meal was getting to chat with the bartender Coco. We had a great conversation and she made our experience really enjoyable; we stayed longer than we planned because we were enjoying the conversation. I highly recommend this place and if you see Coco working, grab a spot at the bar and you'll have a wonderful time.

Giving this a 3 star due to them being out of so much. They were out of 4 different tap beer's ended up drinink wine. Ordered the clam chowder and guess what they were out. Although, did have a good time arrived @ 8:30 on a Saturday night they stop serving food @ 9pm @ 10pm the restaurant turns into a club. DJ was playing good music! Food was decent from the looks of the cocktails they looked delicious. Bartender was awesome. Will go back.

I want to give this place more stars because our server was amazing and attentive but the quality of the food wasn’t what I expected. Ordered the ceviche and was not impressed, it needed more flavoring and I’m not sure sweet potato chips were the best choice with this one. Also ordered the cheese plate, it was okay, I would have liked to know what kind of cheeses I was eating since they are not listed on the menu. Also ordered the Kale Caesar salad and it was nothing special, I expected more for the price. My bf also ordered the Octopus and it was way too charred to the point where you couldn’t even taste the octopus, the orange sauce that came with it did not complement it very well. Another thing that was a turn off were the many flies that kept landing on us and our food (pictured). On the other hand, it was a nice looking place, it has a modern but rustic feel to it, the food just needs to be improved.
Christina A — Google review
We had our first experience here the other night, and I’m really unsure about how to rate this restaurant … everything about our meal ran either really well, or really poorly. There was no in-between. I wasn’t sure whether to give two stars or five. So I went with four for now, because overall, it was more great than poor. But that’s how the visit went - everything we had (both food and drink) was either five-star awesome, or two-star unpleasant. The decor and design is fantastic. The service we got - sitting at the bar since we didn’t have a reservation - was also fantastic: fast, friendly, and very attentive and helpful. The negative situations we did have were dealt with promptly and professionally. The stuff that went poorly: • we ordered fish tacos to share, and when they arrived, they smelled so awful that we sent them back so quickly I didn’t even get a picture of them. I’ve been eating seafood for my entire life, and this was definitely the bad fishy aroma you definitely want to avoid. • the cal fire relief drink was too spicy for either of us to consume. In addition to the spicy ingredients and spicy salt rim, the garnish was half of a raw jalapeño, sliced in half long ways, plus a raw jalapeño ring. The acidity and dry spicy bite the garnish added put the drink over the top. We couldn’t finish it. • similar problem with the Irish mule. Even after adding a second shot of Jameson and more ice to try to mellow out the severe tartness of the drink - the bartender added WAY too much lime juice - even with the extra whisky and ice, it was still too tart and bitter to finish. All of that being said, everything else was absolutely fantastic. • The other three drinks on the sampler flight were freaking delicious, and my wife and I fought a little over who got to drink them! • They carry Flor de Caña 12 year rum from Costa Rica - among many other specialty liquors I noticed - which is awesome. • My wife also got a vodka lemonade drink after our meal that was excellent. • The roasted Brussels sprouts and cheeseburger (get it with garlic fries instead of regular!) were both absolutely delicious. We’ll definitely be coming back again to see which evaluation is the more accurate one; I personally have a feeling it’s gonna bump up to the five stars, but I’m not completely sure yet!

Went Friday at about 6:45pm, were seated right away at the patio. It took a bit of time for a waitress to take our order, which were a bit wrong (2 beers instead of 1, and no grilles onions on burger as requested). Food came kind of quickly, and it was tasty. I only come here during happy hour. I love that it starts earlier than most. French fries and the sauces the fries are served with (especially the curry one) are delicious. My standard drink is an old-fashioned which is a happy hour menu item (yay!). The kale salad (not a happy hour item) is delicious and I order it frequently. Service is always attentive and courteous and I really enjoy the outdoor seating area which is lovely place to relax when the weather is nice. My only complaint…the product they use to clean tables has a strong window cleaner smell which was very bothersome, and I observed an employee spray the table directly rather than spray the towel which causes the product spray to potentially blow around if there’s a breeze, which it did.

First time in this place. Lots of outdoor dining. Tried the salmon with risotto, very tasty. Salmon was cooked very well. Risotto had a bite to it, would have preferred more creamy. Also for $20, the portion size was small. Kids menu of chicken strips was also good. It was deep fried breaded chicken. Tacos and burger both were decent enough. Friendly servers.

Place was nice. Giant wall of bottles including great whiskey. Food was good but not great. Minus one star for poor info on menu. Wanted dark beer & server said the menu went from light to dark but failed to point out that there were two sides... so I ordered what I thought was the darkest and it ended up super light. Overall good experience though and the happy hour tacos were a great deal.

This is the best Bar and Grill in Santa Rosa. The reason I say that is the food is always 5 star and they have a killer selection of whiskey and beer. While I do go in person once a month or so. The other reason this place is so good is this is the only Resturant and bar (in Santa Rosa) on Doordash that actually cares about the food quality when it gets to you. I have order from them on doordash 25+ times and it is always the same great quality. Food never changes and I hope it never does. The bar tenders and staff are great in person too. My favorites consist of the salmon and burger with garlic fries. Best burger and salmon in SR. Enjoy the food!!

Stopped in for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. Nice day so we sat on the patio. Patio is nice, shaded a little breeze, great place to sit We started with wings, they were very hot and crispy, we thought they were great. Had the sweet chili sauce, enjoyed it. I had a grilled chicken and bacon sandwich, wifey has a Cesar salad. I had Onion rings with the sandwich Wife liked her salad and my onion rings. I like that you can take a bite and the onion doesn't slide out, the oil was the perfect temp to cook them in, crispy and seasoned well My sandwich was great, lots of bacon, avo, good red onion. A bomb sandwich. Washed it all down with a Death and Taxes dark lager We really had a nice lunch. We will definitely be going back Thumbs up!

We stopped by this past Monday night at 8:30pm. The door and website say they close at 9:30pm. As we opened the door, the hostess immediately came up and said they are closing early due to it being “a slow night.” They refused service, even though there were about 10 patrons still inside. They just turned away 8 paying customers because they wanted to go home early. I’m sure the owners would not have approved.

Drinks are a bit pricey but not enough to keep me from coming back. A homey sports bar, the paraphernalia lining the walls tells me this place was a labor of love. Walking in on a Friday night was a bit of a shock. I expected busy, but it was absolutely packed. The staff was pushed to their limit, but handled it well, and the food was simple but delicious. The garlic parmesan fries were the best I think I've ever had, and the Buffalo chicken sandwich I had was great. (And huge!) I did substitute it the blue cheese for the sandwich though, because I still don't understand how people enjoy that stuff. Anyways, this is a great place to grab a drink and some food.

Absolutely amazing! We popped into town for a night in between adventures on the Thursday before the 4th of July. Only bar within 20 minutes walk from the hotel that was open. Packed! Sat at the only open table and the server was there in half a minute. Ordered beers, dropped in 45 seconds. This continued all night. We waited for nothing! Ordered food and it was at the table in minutes. Oh! And they have a ‘salad bar’ full of condiments for your burgers/ snacks. All the options! The service was so fast we contemplated getting a job there to figure out how to make our bar that efficient. I’m not kidding! If I could give it a six I would.

My review is purely based on the ambiance, service, and drinks. I’ve been to this bar several times with my friends. We usually come in the evening for drinks, but last time was an exception, we came for lunch. I just went with my usual beer, and the girls got some food. Huge thank you to our server! You were amazing! He ALWAYS checked in on us, never rushed us, was super patient, gave us a couple of recommendations, and was just nice and friendly. We really liked him! Sorry, that I didn't remember your name. Evenings are a whole different scene, from our lunch experience. It’s always packed, and finding a seat is almost impossible, so be ready for that. But somehow, they still always manage to take drink orders pretty fast, with that many people in. I really like this bar. It’s always a good time, and they have a great beer selection. The staff is friendly and efficient, the restrooms are clean, and the outdoor seating area is pretty big. So if you can’t find a seat inside, there’s a good chance you’ll get one outside.

Ausiello’s is a great place to meet with friends and watch the game! The food is always so good, coming out quick and full of flavor. The bartender Sara is always a delight to see! She is helpful, quick to remember your name, and serves drinks on a timely basis. I highly recommend checking out Ausiello’s!

Ausiello's is a fantastic bar with great selections of burgers! Can't forget their wide variety of hot sauces available at the back counter, which, Sara pointed me towards. She's always serving up with a smile even during the time she helped me fend off a couple of unruly group of customers picking on me while i was sitting at the bar alone, verbally and professionally, of course. I don't know how she does it. I offered to give her money for helping me but she refused. Sara is a brave woman of integrity. Ausiello's is lucky to have someone like Sara.

I Had a horrible experience with the waitress, we requested a drink (beer) she never brought it, so we went up to the bar and again the bartender was very rude to us, when I tried to get his attention by saying "hey bro can I get a beer" his response was that's not my name and ignored us. He didn't have a badge on other wise I would called him by his name, so we left. They really need to take some good customer service classes.

Tian Yuen Asian Cuisine in Windsor is a delightful culinary gem that offers an authentic taste of Asia. The menu boasts a wide variety of dishes, from savory dim sum and calamari to flavorful wontons and main courses, each crafted with care and the perfect blend of spices. Guests rave about the refreshing lemon-infused water and delicious Thai iced tea, which enhance the dining experience. The atmosphere is serene, complemented by calming Lofi music and charming decor that invites relaxation while enjoying your meal.
Fresh food. Amazing Flavors. Great Prices. Friendly Service. What a place.

It was difficult for me to give higher than a 3 star. The food was salty and greasy. The tofu was small pieces and fried too long and became inedible. They charged for rice and I didn’t know or somehow missed that. Rice should come with a sautéed dish that is not a noodle dish. Pretty dishes and presentation but I just didn’t enjoy the food. The server was nice. I contemplated hard about if I would return to try something else when there are so many other places to try.

My friend and I had one of the most pleasant experiences at Tian Yuen and I would like to share some of their best features. The thing that was surprisingly enjoyable to me was their water, it has a slight lemon taste that just makes it amazing. Also I thought that the Thai tea was delicious. Another feature of Tian Yuen that I thought gave much felicity to my friend and I was the atmosphere, they play calm Lofi music and with their decor it just makes for a relaxing environment to enjoy a delicious meal in. Speaking of meal, their food is some of the best Asian cuisine I have ever had and I think the best time to have a sit down meal is at lunchtime since there are never a lot of people around at that time. (I have been to this restaurant a couple times for a sit down meal and I’ve ordered out from them like 5 times and I loved it) 💟

Lovely set up for outdoor eating. The waitress here is super sweet, and the food is very good. I loved the sushi they now offer. We had vegetable tempura, California rolls, veggies with peanut sauce and chicken chow mein. The portions are large - the chow mein could have fed us for days! The owners have been working really hard over the years at their restaurant. Love to support local businesses! After a delicious meal at Tian Yuen my friend and I walked over to the Farmer's Market which was going on on a Sunday around noon, and grabbed some fresh bread to take home along with the extra food from Tian Yuen good for dinner.

Great lunch special, and some of the best sushi we've ever had! Such friendly, attentive service, too. I wish I'd have discovered this place sooner. Lots of different Asian dishes on the menu. Delicious Thai iced tea. Highly recommended and we'll be back!!

Great variety of options to choose from on the menu. Quality of food is amazing. Dishes are delicately served with the perfect amount of spices and seasonings. Ambiance in the restaurant is quaint and very comfortable. The restaurant provided me and my family with a wonderful dinning experience and some great authentic Asian cuisine. Some of our dishes included calamari, dim sum-cha sia boa, wontons-pork, and a couple main dishes that each had their own distinct flavors.

We live on the Town Green but had not yet tried this restaurant. I was having some friends over and decided that I wanted to try it and I'm so glad I did. The sushi chef is masterful and created a work of art of our meal. The restaurant delivered my order on this gorgeous boat and the presentation was really beautiful. Not a piece was left! This is my new favorite place on the Green. Try it, you won't be disappointed and they deserve to make it here. Thanks to Karma, the manager who made ordering for 7 people a breeze and the surprise presentation was really special.

Whiskey Tip in Santa Rosa is a laid-back spot with outdoor seating, where you can enjoy a wide range of drinks from beer to cocktails. The bar also features a pool table and occasional live music for entertainment. It's known for its great atmosphere and friendly bartenders who are skilled at whipping up any drink you desire. The venue boasts a spacious outdoor patio where live music events take place, along with outdoor games like life-size Jenga.
This was such a great find. Great selection of liquor that you wouldn’t normally see at a regular bar. Gave a very exclusive allocation vibe. The bartender Jamie was really knowledgeable about various types of bourbon and offered a flight tasting which was fantastic. Found a new favorite bourbon to drink there There was also an open mic night with comedy, music, poetry and other shenanigans. Definitely a great whiskey bar in Santa Rosa.

Friendly and fun venue in Santa Rosa, CA. The bar and backstage area have lots of space to accommodate people indoors and outdoors. The patio has two levels and a stage for live performances. The bar, tap, vine and kitchen menu have lots of options to choose from. Karaoke night is on Wednesdays, lots of singers sharing and cheering each other. The staff is friendly and helpful! #LetsGuide love(:

Went here last Wednesday (karaoke night) and had a blast! The bar tenders were attentive and pleasant. The drinks were great. The KJ was AMAZING. She has an awesome singing voice, and she kept things flowing at a great pace. It was my first time singing karaoke, and she was very supportive. She even stayed a little bit late and chatted us up. I really couldn't ask for more from this experience.

Excellent drinks. Highly skilled mixologists. Best around. But.... a single beer is $10 !!?? (They have a $10 minimum ??) Why? During happy hour !!! ..And you want a tip ? I walked across the parking lot and bought a 2 dollar bag of screws with my ATM - The hardware store does not have a $10 minimum. I told the bartender, I will never return - gave them my word. I'll buy beer from a grocery store from now on - I'm fine with that.

I went for a Halloween party, so my review might be skewed, but this place got packed. When we walked in they were playing some rock/metal type music inside. The bar tenders were attentive. They have a really great outside space with a deck and had mexican food items for sale.
Cassidy D — Google review
I was surprised with how in depth the bartenders go in crafting their drinks. Very tasty, and well made. Service was friendly and almost all of them remembered me after I had only been there for just one night! I really like how they have various events from chippendales to karaoke to live local music. The bar cat is probably my favorite part. ;)

Under new ownership but still as amazing as ever. Looking for a whiskey or a great cocktail? This is the place! Plus good beer selection in bottle and on tap And tons of events going on here. Don't forget to get some really tasty food from the back patio kitchen. The chef here runs a great kitchen and an amazing catering business.

I had a great time. From the street it is difficult to appreciate how large and pleasant the place is. As you go in there is the bar, but towards the back many settings where you can just chill. Drinks were affordable, staff was pleasant. Music was awesome and the crowd friendly. All and all a good night out

Tex Wasabi's is a chef Guy Fieri-owned sushi restaurant located in downtown Santa Rosa. They're known for their creative sushi rolls with barbecue chicken instead of fish, and they offer specials on Wednesdays where you can get a Fishbowl to share between four people. The atmosphere is sleek and trendy, with fancy furniture and beautiful lighting. The food is delicious, bright and colorful with flavorful ingredients. Highly recommend this location for lunch, dinner or drinks!
It had been over 13 years since we moved away from Santa Rosa and since we ate at Tex Wasabi's. Last time we went, you still saw Guy Fieri talking to everyone and ensuring everything was perfect! His presence was still there even over the years a It was as delicious af I remember! Our server had the best customer service ever! She was attentive and understanding with my 2 daughters. Also I met a fabulous Gal in the bathroom and were chit chatted in there for a bit! Sushi was fresh, innovative and they were a generous amount, the appetizers were delicious, hot and fresh. The dessert OMG the Breath Mint pie is freaking the best! On Keto and that was worth my Cheat!

Hmmm ... Not impressed with the quality of food ... though the service was friendly and decent. Interior is dark, even during the day. Food wise ... I had a Po-Boy sandwich, Fish Tacos and an Emily's Sushi Roll. The Po-Boy was not even close to the "real" New Orleans style sandwich. The sushi roll was ... different. The tacos were slider size, not even medium size tortillas. All were edible ... but all were lacking in taste and originality. My thinking was that since it was formerly and partly owned by Chef Guy Fieri (from the Diner's, Drive In's and Dives fame) that it might be a good place to eat. Wrong. Just not for my tastes. Price and value ... ehh, not worth it to me.

Combinations of classic diner food with the American version of (primarily) Japanese cuisine make for festive bar food with an atmosphere to match. The service is always friendly and the staff is always engaging and knowledgeable about the menu.

An interesting combo of BBQ and sushi which at first doesn't seem like it would be a good one. Somehow they pull it off though, their rolls are delicious. I was skeptical of the jackass roll but it ended up being my favorite. My only qualm was that when you ordered one of the drink bowls the straws were not bendy. That aside this is a must visit if you're in the area.

This is one of my friend's favorite places to go so he decided to take me along one day. Well, I wasn't impressed. We tried to order food which became an ordeal since you have to order from upstairs and they never answered the phone to place an order to begin with. I had to walk upstairs to place the order that took over an hour. The other thing I couldn't stand was the uneven floors and the fact that the bartender never came to our table. I had to go up to the bar to get any refills on our drinks. So, I don't care to return.

Eh....played pool which was cool, but the customer service was horrible. It's important to embrace all and be inclusive....when it came to the bartenders they seemed like it was a problem to serve us...less than welcoming.
Liz — Google review
Where do I start? Only 1 star because the pizza place on top looked alright. My friend and I are newly 21 looking for a place to play pool and have some nice drinks. The place looked classy online so we decided to try it out. First walking in creepy white guy says “Oh u look too young to be in a bar” lol okay? Mind your business much? Secondly bartender took over 3 minutes to even address us because she was chopping it up with the men in the bar. Third we asked about the pool tables she told us they were coin tables so we said okay and this even creeepier guy got soo close to my friend out of nowhere and asked us if we wanted to play pool. My friend said no we only have 2 people. He said “2 on 2?” I said “nah we’re good” then we asked the bartender for a tequila sunrise and a cosmopolitan, she makes the tequila sunrise quickly then moves to the cosmopolitan and broke the glass while making it. Proceeded to yell “AHHHH” then switched to a sweet but condescending and says “let me just remake that for you” At this point the music is just bad vibes the energy is just so dark and depressing felt like we were suffocating. So we decided to just get up and leave because we were so uncomfortable. As we’re getting up to leave the bartender yells “WHERE U GOING” and has a crazy look on her face. We told her we were going to use the restroom and left. Went to Applebees and are enjoying the vibes and drinks so much more. I pray for the people in this bar.

They wouldn't let me in with an American federal ID, the bouncer said they could only take state IDs and not federal IDs. Everywhere online it says it's completely fine to use that ID and every other bar has taken it. The Belvidere honestly sucks.

Brewery
HenHouse Brewing Company, founded in 2011 in Petaluma, has quickly become a beloved name among craft beer enthusiasts. Originating from an old egg-processing facility, the brewery moved to a larger and more modern space in southwest Santa Rosa in 2016 due to its growing popularity. Known for its ever-changing selection of beers on tap, HenHouse delights visitors with innovative brews like the El Dorado Extra Special IPA—a smooth and citrusy delight that showcases their unique dry hopping technique.
Started seeing this brewery's beer on draft in San Joaquin county, so we finally decided to make the long drive out to Santa Rosa for the Big Chicken event 2/22/25. Initially we arrived at the Petaluma location but the line was out the door and around the corner with clearly more than a one or two hour wait so we ended up driving further to the Santa Rosa location about 15min away. The staff was nice and the property was well kept. Plenty of families with kids that were happily playing on the outdoor patio.

Enjoyed the Hella Stoked Cold IPA. It was refreshing with a nice bouquet. It’s a good stop over to grab a brew from the bar. They have a food truck today, Saturday. Sat at the bar and noticed a tender connection with their customers-🍺 This location is their initial one and the location at Petaluma was a contract place that they purchased once the other brewery left. Good stopover

I'm a huge fan of HenHouse Brewing Company. In fact, I waited 30 minutes before the 2pm Google Maps posted time to open. I was in the area and excited to check out the brewery. Although, the brewery opens at 2:00 p.m., they can't pour beer on tap until 4:00 p.m.. This is due to their agreement with the landlord. I would recommend that HenHouse brewing company post the 4:00 p.m. and not the 2:00 p.m. on Google maps. Since at least five customers left after discovering they would have to wait 2 hours before they could have a beer on tap. IG: SACRAMENTOHONEY

Stopped by here the other day FINALLY after trying various cans over the past year. I had high expectations and I'm so happy to say they were met and exceeded. What I did not expect was the variety of "funky" beers. I love breweries that offer more than just IPA and one or two other kinds of beer. I was surprised to find they even had a German style beer! My friend and I shared a flight. I really enjoyed how we weren't just "served" a flight but it was more like "presented" to us. Being talked through the flavors really added to the experience. Shout out to the guys working Sunday at closing; they were great! This place has seating inside and outside. The outside does have heating lamps and was comfortable. 👍🏼👍🏼 Looking forward to the next time.

This isn’t the dirty bird anymore, they are trying to clean it up and make it yuppy like the rest of Sonoma county, it’s just the dirty? No thanks. If at the minimum they could at least restock used heroin bags in the toilets to pee on. Will not return this establishment is dead to me and many more people like me

Read a few reviews about how rude this place is, and I second that. Went there there bar back was rude when I asked for a drink. I asked him, can you tell the bartender I'm trying to order a drink. He said we're crowded, which it wasn't. I'm the only colored person standing right at the bar, but nobody sees me or acknowledged me after making eye contact. You know who's standing at bar/ who doesn't have a drink. Felt like this place will serve you quicker if you were white, being it's Santa Rosa. But oh well. That's just how it goes. Won't be going back to this place that's for sure.
Dario E — Google review
Well. It certainly is dirty. Lol. Tables were always gross and filled with empty dirty glasses. Interesting crowd, very VERY friendly people. Like almost too friendly to the point where I can't walk across the room in peace with my girlfriend without being asked about my entire life story. Part 2: After seeing the establishment's response I've decided to add some things since their sass knows no bounds. I shouldn't have to ask the staff to do their jobs...? That's like asking for a cup with my drink. By "friendly" I politely meant "drunk as heck". Over serving at a dive bar? What a concept. And just to really top off the cake; a sassy, unapologetic response from the establishment themselves! Someone give these guys a gold star. Oh wait. I think I will. 👌 Bravo on that life choice.
Sophia M — Google review
Luke is a pleasure to chat with while he makes your drink. No beers on tap but plenty of other options and good choice of cider.

The best parts of a dive bar without the negatives, what's not to love? It's never too packed and people are chill, management listens if there is a problem with a patron. It's a super diverse and accepting crowd. What's not to love?
