Lookouts
Morro do Moreno, located in Vila Velha, is a popular hiking and photography destination. Rising 274 meters above sea level, it offers stunning panoramic views of the bays and skyline of Vitoria. The hill is named after Joao Moreno, an early settler in the region. Visitors can enjoy relatively easy access to the trails and a relatively short hike that takes about two to three hours round trip.
Worth it. Views are awesome. Start at 5:30 am to catch the sunrise around 6. Yes the road is steep and eroded, but still passable.
Stefan H — Google review
A fairly short but sweaty walk will get you to the top of this hill and you will be rewarded with beautiful views, especially when the sun is going down. Never go alone and only go on a weekend when it's busy. Apparently people get robbed quite regularly going up.
Denise K — Google review
It's not too long of a hike but it's a very steep and has a lot of a rosian on the trail but the view at the top is wonderful
Steven M — Google review
Fun place to hike to and get great views of the city. Very steep and be very careful!
Jose ( — Google review
Spectacular views of Vila Velha and Vitoria from the top. Be sure to buy a popsicle from the vendor near the tippy top.
Christopher M — Google review
A 30-minute hike for the most scenic views of Vitoria and Vila Velha that you can possibly get.
Fellipe P — Google review
It's a great hiking trail to do even without hiking experience. My husband and I hiked up this in flip flops and it took us about 30 minutes. The view from the top is INCREDIBLE!!! I highly recommend anyone living around this area to come do the trail because it's worth it.

(Translated by Google) This neighborhood is located in the wonderful city of Vila Velha, near the border with another tourist city, Guarapari. It boasts two charming beaches that suit different tastes. Baleia Beach is perfect for those looking to admire nature and enjoy the sun, with its strong waves creating a vibrant and energetic scene. Rasa Beach, with its calm waters and gentle waves, is ideal for relaxing walks, swimming, and fun times with the kids. Its bucolic setting, with a few beachfront bars, is perfect for a peaceful family getaway. Furthermore, the charming landmark of the Church of Our Lady of Navigators invites visitors to immerse themselves in culture and spirituality. Near the church, a panoramic deck offers stunning views of both beaches, where you can marvel at the natural spectacle of sunrise and sunset, making each day a unique and unforgettable experience.

(Translated by Google) Very quiet beach, good for those who really want to relax. You have access to Praia da Baleia, more for surfers, the shallow beach, good for swimming and children, being careful with the rocks and taking a (long) walk. You go to Praia da Sereia. There are not many bars and restaurants, the best is Cabana do Rock, the others are just for stopping for a beer or soda. There are almost no street vendors. I have been going there for over 25 years, it used to be better, the sea water has invaded the sand part, after 3 pm there is only water, it wasn't like this (but that's nature). The village has improved, but there is still a long way to go.

(Translated by Google) Calm sea, you can walk for meters and meters without waves and you can stand. Lots of humble, delicious stalls and cold beers. The beach has a large strip of sand that goes to Praia da Sereia and Praia do Sol, which are also wonderful, but the sea changes a bit. Praia de Santa Luzia, a well-known coastal destination, may initially seem secluded due to its name. However, during the summer months, it is far from being a hidden treasure. While the ocean's azure hue is enchanting, occasional presence of algae can be observed. Accessing this beach involves descending down a sloped hill after passing through an entrance at its highest point.
The beach is nice but don't be deceived by the name, it's not very secretive especially in the summer. The water is crystal blue but it does have some algae at times. To get to the beach, you have to go through a door opening at the top and down a declined hill. Overall it's a pretty beach with good views.

Beach
Praia do Ribeiro is a small city beach nestled amidst towering highrises and lush trees, creating a picturesque setting. This bucolic enclave has been documented as a mooring spot for boats since the early 1500s. It's now primarily used by fishing boats and serves as a departure and arrival point for them. While not suitable for swimming, it offers tranquility and an opportunity to admire the view while sitting under the shade of chestnut trees.
Beautiful and quiet place.
Bruno N — Google review
It seems a beach for boats only. Though the view is nice, it is better to go there if you want to get on a boat, or just walking around as we did.
Rodrigo G — Google review
The place is a very bucolic enclave, with beautiful and centenary trees. But it is not a bathing beach, and it never intended to be (at least in the last 2 or 3 centuries). Incidentally, the site appears in the first cartographic surveys of the old Espirito Santo Captaincy, from around 1500. It was already described as a place for mooring boats. In the last many decades it became a fishing boat mooring, similar to Prainha at Vila Velha City Center. And as such, it is in fact quite dirty and generally fishy smelling. Even so, it is beautiful and worth a quick stop early in the morning or late in the afternoon. One day, who knows, those fishing boats will find another place to anchor, and the place will return to being a beach, as it once was (200 to 300 years ago! kkkk).

Although the water isn't suitable for swimming, the scenery makes up for it; it's a place worth visiting for the views and tranquility. A plus is its proximity to Bananal Beach, which is right next door. Depending on the time of year, you can swim there, allowing you to visit both beaches on the same day and enjoy your trip even more. A destination that pairs well with those seeking nature, tranquility, and beautiful images to save or share. Um ponto positivo é a proximidade com a Praia do Bananal, que fica logo ao lado. Praia da Barra do Jucu, located about 10 kilometers away from the city center and away from the hustle and bustle, is an old fishing village that still retains its rustic charm. Imagina vc curtir o sol nascer de frente para praia e ver o sol nascer bebendo uma cerveja ou um bom vinho. Ou simplesmente ver o sol nascer na beira do mar sentado na areia

(Translated by Google) Baleia Beach, in Ponta da Fruta, Espírito Santo, is simply enchanting! With calm, crystal-clear waters, it's perfect for relaxing, walking on the sand, and enjoying a beautiful sunset. The atmosphere is peaceful, ideal for families, couples, or those seeking peace and nature. The view is breathtaking, and the welcoming atmosphere of the locals makes the experience even better. A true hidden retreat in Espírito Santo! I highly recommend it for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle and reconnect with the sea. Praia do Bananal is a hidden gem in Vila Velha, offering a piece of paradise for visitors. Accessible via the Trilha Joao Moreno, this tiny beach boasts stunning views and a tranquil atmosphere. Moreno Beach, located here, is a popular spot with a diverse menu and welcoming hosts Linda and Joao Paulo. While it can get crowded on weekends, the breathtaking scenery makes it worth a visit. Consider visiting on weekdays for a more peaceful experience.
A tiny beach hidden in Vilha Velha. Today it was full of people, perhaps it is better to come on week days. Get an uber to get there. The view is amazing!

Praia da Sereia is at the northern end of Guarapari, bordering Vila Velha. It was named after a sculpture with the mythical figure of a mermaid on the beach. The sculpture was the way a businessman and resident found to honor his daughters and the local women. From the lookout, there is a panoramic view of the place consisting of coconut trees, rocks and calm sea that, at low tide, makes visible the famous coral pools. At the waterfront, simple tents sell snacks to visitors and locals. Waterfront Infrastructure: Bars and Tents Location: City boundary. Length: 1.5 Km
