BEWARE OF DROWNING!!! My dad almost lost his life here!! Please, if you are not a confident swimmer, rent the damn lifejacket or pay for the boat. I came here with my whole family with the snorkel equipment, when coming back to the beach, the tide was high and we ended up in a deep area, then my dad got panicked and started to drown. Luckily, I was able to assist him and the rest of my family was able to reach to a shallow area (even though they don't swim well). This was a really traumatic experience that I wish no one else lives (I thought we would all die, seriously). It's very easy to underestimate the danger and because of being stingy we almost get a tragedy, so please be careful. The place itself is very beautiful, I would put more stars but I want to alert other tourists so they don't live what I did. Apparently there used to be a rope that would ease the walk but now it's not there anymore, plus there are no lifeguards or anyone to help. I am really concern about this place because of what I lived and how I saw other people almost drowning.

Loved this beach. It was clean. Water temp very nice. Found a spot to leave our bags. No need to rent a bed. Public transport is not the best here

Be aware of scams. When you get there they will yell at you and say that "you can't be there". You're not allowed to hang around this little island without paying an extra fee for snorkeling or whatever they come up with

A great beach bar with a great restaurant. Would definately advise you to go to this place if you're on San Andres. Rocky Cay beach experience is one of the best in San Andres, the walking to Rocky Cay island is excellent and you could easily do it with your kids as well. This beach bar completes the chain and you could easily get a great day at the beach here. You got lokers for 5000COP (they ask for 15000COP but 10k is gurantee for your key), you got clean restrooms. Restaurant has good fresh products (have in mind that there is no clean water on this island except the one sold in stores). They will not charge you money for any kind of beach seating as long as you order. Tip: be sure after you order to ask them to give you a bracelet, otherwise you'll be asked to pay when you'll need to use the restrooms.

Great place that's chill and not super crazy like Johnny Cay. You can also rent snorkeling gear from people or bring your own. Rocky Cay beach on the mainland is also quite nice.

Great beach right in the center of everything! There is plenty of shade or sun. You can rent a tent or umbrella for a fee, and you’ll get beachside food and drink service. There are occasional vendors walking through trying to sell you things but it is minimal. The water is crystal clear and the beach itself is very clean. Along the beach is a nice promenade with shops and restaurants. This beach is often very lively and busy, and many people bring speakers to listen to music and dance!

Beautiful and amazing beach! I'm totally in love! The color of the sand, the color of the water - absolutely amazing! A bit crowded and so many people asking every 5 second if you want coconut water or the African braids, but that's normal everywhere so let's say it's bearable.

The beech is amazing but San Andres administration lacks good administration like everywhere else in the island. They don't enforce not littering and no dog on the beech ( as they also have a sign posted) The sunrise is great to watch and water is a good water to enjoy and swim in. There are plenty restaurants and some coffee shop in walking distance.

Super clean beach with sun shades and chairs available for rent. The sea is nice and warm with clear water, so great for snorkelling. Beach vendors are friendly, and you can get a nice fried fish delivered directly to your beach spot. Safe area with beach patrols and life guards. Consumption of alcohol on the beach is permitted.

People have trashed this beach. We were distressed on our first morning in San Andres to walk out onto this beach and find it covered in trash. Straws, bottle caps, cans, wrappers, and many other types of trash were all about and mixed in the sand. I walked fearing that I would step on broken glass or cut my foot on a bottle cap. At the end of September there was also tons of Sargasso seaweed covering the beach and floating in the water too.

Nice place, nice vines, nice swimming. Not the best place for snorkelling but overall it's good. Can find some food and drinks (also across the road) but don't expect a lot of convenience. Nice that you can also get some packed icecreams. The place can rent you gear for snorkelling which is great. I highly recommend it.

Arrived by buggy (there is parking just across the road, next to the restaurant), around 10am and at that time there was plenty spots in the shade. Great spot for snorkel and we also used the slide and jumped from the platforms. We had a good time but not sure we would spend there all day. 5000 cop for lockers.

Absolutely loved. Well organized. Great views and clear water with lots of beautiful fish (good for snorkeling). There are two jumping platforms and a toboggan. You can also rent life jackets for a fair price. The restaurant's kitchen seems to be clean, but we did not take any chances to eat there. There is a nice restaurant across the road. To pay attention: there's no first-aid kit available at the facility. The EMS on the island is not well planned for minor injuries. As an open knee the we saw a woman being cared out there. Be aware of the rocks while swimming and going up the stairs.

Great experience. Lots of fish to swim with. Slide is fun. Come early as it's a small area and lots of people. Only 8000 pesos entrance and life vests are 5000 or 10000 depending on type. Take the "El Cove" bus from downtown for 4500 pesos each way... about 30 minute ride.

The staff was not friendly at all, seemed like they would want to be anywhere but not there. They feed the fish with bread, so people can see them really close to the shore. We were there on a Sunday and it was full of people. The chairs were dirty and we had to go one by one in the water so our things will still be there when we return. They close at 5pm, so can’t stay for the sunset. Unfortunately, on that side of the island there aren’t many sandy beaches, so we gave it a try. For a swim it’s okay, as they have a leader, but not worth the money.

Great experience to spend the day in San Andrés. The best part for me was swimming with all the fish around, there were many! I loved it At the end of the safe area, you could see a stingray swimming touching the ground (I felt pretty safe, it was quite deep) The slide and the trampoline are also a great thing to experience! They tried to entertain the visitors and to justify the price of the entry, but to be honest, I think they forced things too much and the overall quality of everything was not good enough.

It was ok, if you have the time do it, but if you are in crunch, I might skip it. Is all run by locals, so that's also a nice way to help out, and learn some history about the Island.

It's not worth stopping and seeing only if you have young children would I consider.

Terrible! This place is so bad I can’t believe people actually go here. Of course, I spent the $20,000 COP entry fee and joined the tour so I’m guilty of being a patron too. This place is amazing. Great view. It is a bit far from the center of the city, but if you take but to get there from the downtown, it takes around 40 minutes to arrive and it costs 3.600 Colombian pesos. It's a small bar with plastic chairs and sunbeds, a lot of local people. They don't accept dollars for the entrance ( 3 doll per person) only card, but inside, you can not buy the drinks if u don't have pesos. You can enter the water by jumping 4m high, water slides, or metal staircases. Not recommend

La Piscinita is a great spot to spend a couple of hours enjoying the sea. The entrance fee is 10k per person, and honestly, 1 to 2 hours is plenty to enjoy what it offers. There are lounge chairs where you can relax between swims, plus diving boards and a slide that make it fun for both kids and adults. If you bring snorkeling gear, you can spot some small fish in the clear water, which is a nice bonus! It’s a simple place but well worth a visit for a refreshing dip and some light snorkeling in a relaxed environment.

Amazing experience! The water was fanatic, there were plenty of fish swimming with us while in the water. It can get a bit crowded at times though. A must to visit when in San Andrés.

Beautiful clear blue waters and visible aquarium fish. Volcanic type rocks this so wear good water shoes. Much less crowded and calmer waters than Sprat bright which everyone seems to flock to.

First when we booked the trip, they said we are going to stop at 3 islands and go to 1 resort. In the end was 2 islands and no resorts. When they had to pick us up, they said 5pm but came at 4pm so we missed our boat i asked 3 different people eho were driving the boat if it is 5pm. In the end they just went away at 4pm without us. We had to pay another boat to take us home. Island It is not worth it. No privacy. Everything overcrowded. They put you on a boat and take you directly into a restaurant. They force drinks. Like it is just normal to come and go directly to a table and everything is already set for you to pay. and in the end they want to charge me double price. I took fish and 2 drinks and suddenly there is a coconut and commission and what not and I don't know what and it is 120.000 instead of 60.000. everything smells like a scam. Lovely beach, with a big area to rest on the sand or simply walk and enjoy the green grass with the nature and the iguanas.

We really enjoyed our time on the island! Lots of food/drink options and the staff were very attentive! There was lots of space to lay out or grab an umbrella. It’s a great spot to spend the day drinking and laying on the beach.

Amazing island, 10/10 the best beach in the area! Would recommend spending all day here instead of continuing onto the aquarium. Food and drinks available with multiple vendors, recommend cash but some take card and charge a small fee accordingly. Gorgeous water, umbrellas and chairs available but show up early!

Cool place on the west side of the island. It means that it gets barely any waves even when the east is very windy. The only downside is the lack of food and access to the water is a bit cumbersome. Beautiful sunsets

Great place for sunset, powerful cocktails and great Raizals staff. The staff were so welcoming to their little bit of sunset paradise! Plenty of seats and good range of drinks and snacks on offer. Coco loco is the drink to have - it will cure everything with happiness!! Also a dive board into the sea. See you again soon!!

Absolutely stunning water. Much more relaxed than the adjacent spots, where dozens of tourists packed into a small area. At Reggae Roots, entry was only 5000 COP and there were only 3 other groups with us enjoying the water. Cheap beer and snacks are also available. Enjoy the diving board!

Great long strech of white sand beach. Loads of shade to chill. Loads of options for food and drinks. Nice views of an inlet island with a ship wreck. Loads of jet skis and boats outside the swimming area. This must be the easiest enter/exit beach in the world. Soft sand, gentle waves, warm sea, no stones, no dirt. Excellent. The plan trees offer good shade and you can also find some mango trees to hide from the bright sun.

Watch out for thieves! I left my bag with my phone and stuff on the beach on my towel and went for a 10min swim and everything was stolen! Really sad but that's reality here in San Andres ... The Jetskis come tooo close to the people!

Nice beach, with clear waters but make sure to wear water shoes, the floor is not sandy and it hurts to walk barefoot. There are sellers that rent umbrellas and chairs. Bargain, don't accept the first price offered.

I got in with my fam of 11 by reseving the day before and putting a 500k that were returned. Amazing views, professional service, and great food. As much as I respect the salmon, it wasn't for me. I wanted my salmon cooked medium,I even said I wanted it medium well but I was flatly told they don't do such thing. So when I got my salmon well done it was just not as tender or flavorful as I usually like it. The sauce was interesting but lacked flavor, and for having "teriyaki" in the description I sure didn't taste it or see it. The red coloring was also an interesting choice for covering the entire salmon, and the sauce turned into a jelly fastThe guacamole was a nice pairing, but could've been a bit more mature and soft. The cocktail I had was great, perhaps a bit too strong for my tasting, but well worth. Lobster was good and there is a wide selection of preparations for anyone. A drink my aunt had was a bit too watery compared to the cheaper and more fruitful drinks found on the beach. The view of the ocean is beautiful but don't be surprised to be surrounded by a lot of yachts. The service was as said, professional, fast, and efficient. I wouldn't have minded some more cheerfulness or welcoming vibes, but hey, she was fast, accurate, and efficient. I think that the restaurant is well worth if affordable, as the atmosphere is unique and the menu is vast and specialized. PS: celebrating birthdays in this restaurant would be a good option, but it's also small drawback because don't be surprised to be hearing a lot of birthday singing.

The place it’s quite popular in San Andres if not the most popular. I made the mistake to order a new dish from the menu, don’t do it it’s not good. Haha but my boyfriend ordered the shrimp rice and it was really really good. So I just had bad luck. They are experts in seafood and traditional so maybe stick to it for a 100% sure good experience.

Wonderful place! The food is astonishingly delicious while space provides a magical atmosphere. Pay attention that you need a reservation to get in quickly (2-3 weeks in advance), otherwise you need to wait for non-reserved pool of the tables ~ 1 hour. I had only the impression that too many guests are served by too less staff, hence do not expect to be served quickly. All in all, worth all the money and time!

This place has great atmosphere and appeal. Right along the water and a cool breeze cooling you down for the humid weather. To start off, the wait to go in was about an hour from when we put our name on the list. We came since this spot was recommended. I'd say it was pretty underwhelming for the amount of money we spent. We had ceviche, 2 types of croquettes, tuna, lobster tails, conk and crab. Nothing was memorable or satisfying. Only redeeming factor was the portions for some of the mains were huge. Otherwise, I probably won't return.

We ordered the Regatta lobsters and the Johnny Cay ceviche. The lobster was absolutely delicious, fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. The ceviche, however, was a bit disappointing as it was served with a sauce that tasted like ketchup, which didn’t quite match our expectations. We arrived around 2:30 PM for a late lunch, and the place was full, creating a lively and pleasant atmosphere. For dessert, we tried the chocolate cake and maracuyá (passion fruit); it was outstanding, We also had a bottle of wine, which was surprisingly good and felt worth the price. The total bill came to 490,000 COP, but considering we had lobster and wine, it was reasonable. Would definitely recommend for a nice lunch or dinner by the sea.

Such a gorgeous restaurant, you must visit if you’re in San Andrés. The food was delicious, the atmosphere is one of a kind. The view where we sat down was spectacular. I loved peacefully seeing out to the ocean and felt that life sat still for a moment. The music is very mellow and goes well with the theme of the restaurant. It’s very colorful and the service is decent. The wait time for the food was slightly on the longer side but we didn’t mind.

My partner and I went to try the transparent kayaks and it was such a beautiful experience. It started off windy, but soon the water became completely flat and we could just relax, listening to the birds and soaking in the nature all around us. Some parts of the route took us right into tree covered paths that felt like little caves, which made it even more special compared to kayaking in the open sea. We stopped to snorkel and the guides shared interesting facts about the local marine life like shells, jellyfish, sea cucumbers and starfish before we explored the shallow waters. There weren’t many fish but I enjoyed the peaceful floating with a life vest. (Tip: wear a rashie or shirt underneath your vest to avoid any rubbing burns.) Afterwards, we headed back and were treated to food and drinks much more than I expected! Overall, it was a wonderful and pleasantly surprising experience.

Enjoy something different than beaches, swimming and sun! This was a nice alternative to being in the sun. Got pretty sunburnt the day before so getting a nice walk in and for the most part it’s quiet. Can still hear the party boats but regardless it’s worth it. Cost is 12,000 pesos (around $3) and it’s a nice walk with shade. Can be 20-30 minutes or a few hours. Go for it if you have time!

It’s beautiful the ecosystem, but the space is not well taken care of. The signs are broken or blurred, and the wood floor is getting damaged. There’s no signs or verbal notification about not throwing garbage! No garbage bins!! There’s garbage all over the place! The money should have a purpose, more than charging and to pay to some people

There is a nice boardwalk with well-kept signs about the local fauna and Flora. There is also a company across the road that provides some kayak/snorkeling tours, that was good too.

It's a nice place to walk in the morning. There are a lot of (sea) birds, and there are some amazing views on the openings to the water. The walk through the mangroves is done on a long wooden bridge with multiple ramifications. While it is generally a pleasant walk, there is also some (more than occasional) trash between the mangroves. The entrance to the park is on a small road in the South, near Ecofiwi.

Visited while exploring the area by scooter — a very beautiful and peaceful beach. The water is crystal clear, but once you go further than waist deep it becomes quite rocky, so beach shoes are a must. The road leading to the beach is very scenic, which makes the ride there just as enjoyable as the stop itself.

Nicest beach for kids on the island. 1-2ft deep water inside the coral area. Kids love it. Lots of little fish and critters swimming around and water is basically crystal clear.

Processing is quick for incoming domestic flights. Airport could use more work on infrastructure improvement but it is not a huge problem. Given the amount of people I see traveling to SAI, they should charge higher tourism fees. The amount of pollution is a problem along the ocean. The beaches can use a higher fee for clean up. For a small tourism fee, it is amazing how these entitled clowns complaining how this airport should be Trump Tower. I have an important news for you, the world doesn't need to cater to your needs. SAI will still get their money for a long time. Cash talks, your BS walks.

Undoubtedly one of the worst airports in the world. When travellers fly from Bogota, they are flying internally and there should be no need for such stringent and rigorous checks on arrival. Unlike other officials in Colombia, the staff at this airport are the rudest, nastiest officials that I have ever come across. I actually thought that I'd arrived in Venezuela! We were forced to prove our return flights to Bogota along with our hotel accommodation. I have never experienced this in any other Colombian city. Then, every tourist is treated as a potential criminal with every bag inspected. The queues for the checks are horrendous - all in stifling heat. Had I known the 'greeting' that I experienced in San Andres airport, I would never have come. I nearly fainted in the heat. I certainly would not recommend that anyone travels through this airport - it completely spoiled my visit to San Andres and set the tone for the visit.

Old, dilapidated airport without air conditioning. Terrible loud speaker system service. This is a too small airport to handle the high volume of passangers.

You can certainly tell the age of this airport but with only a few gates who cares. Its pretty basic and actually surprising to see how simple airports actually are.

Wonderful little airport with everything you need. You are allowed to bring 5 bottles of alcohol per person in hand-bagage, so can really take advantage of the islands tax-free status. Very efficient service, my pet dog went though security without problem. Easy boarding prosses using the front and rear doors of the plane.

The international airport is very small. Passengers may have to board or disembark the plane up or down stairs. There is a duty-free shopping of various things.

We stayed at the hotel for one night. Staff was nice, breakfast was okay, really close to the beach. They even have a nice jacuzzi on the roof. The problem was the room, we stayed in 310. There was a bad smell of mould which came from the air conditioner. Even the curtains had mould spots on them. The pricing of this hotel should definitely enable them to service their air conditioning...

This was my second time staying at Hotel Bahía Sardina. I had a wonderful experience the first time, so I returned with my sister hoping to share that same magic—but unfortunately, this visit was a disappointment. Upon arrival, I noticed the lobby and pool area floors were dirty, which was surprising and made me question the upkeep and staffing. One of the most frustrating moments was being charged 75,000 COP for breakfast for myself and my sister, even though breakfast was clearly included in my reservation. This should have been confirmed and clarified at check-in by the receptionist. I only noticed the mistake after reviewing my booking later, and by then it was too late. I felt taken advantage of. I also booked a tour through the hotel with a man named Clark, only to find out later that I could’ve gotten the same tour for a significantly lower price directly at the marina. Hot water for shower and from the bathroom sink, quiet place (i stayed in a room in the opposite side of the street, so I could sleep pretty well, and also because the windows are soundproof), very clean and refurbished (great!), they really care about the clients. It is in front of spratt beach (this beach is awesome!). Definitely would come back again! The only 2 problems I found are (1) that the air conditioning clicks continuously and this can be annoying for some persons; (2) and breakfast lacks variety of fruits and other foods.

First of all I have to say that the food here is outstanding. Every day is something different and it's always delicious. The only downside is that the dining are is really small. If you are here in on a busy week or day. You will have to wait for a table to eat on or seat with a stranger witch I don't know if it's a bad thing or a good thing. Another bad thing is that you can't serve the food by yourself. Someone will serve you the food and it can be a little bit enjoying if you like to eat a lot because you will have to stand up and go get more food every time you are finished. The bedrooms are really big and clean. We where two person and there was two king sise beds in the room. We where staying on the top floor (4th floor) with a viewer over the ocean and the beach. A beautiful thing to wake up on and see the celar blue sea. The only downside there is that the minibar is not free. There is water en soda and some pills for stomach or headaches that are way to over price. There are supermarkets way closer to the hotel that will sell you the same things for half the price. There is a safe locker that is free to use in the room witch is really useful. The pool is rally small, so if you are here on a busy week or day. It will be hard to find somewhere to sit next to the pool. The good thing is that the ocean is five steps away from the hotel. So if the pool is full you will have some options. The bar next to the pool is also very small, but it will get you drunk if that's what you are after or get you the drink you need with out problems. Last but not least the staff is really helpful and kind. They where there for anything we needed or wanted help with. The wifi was really bad we could not use it on the 4th floor, only at the lobby next to the recepción or at the bar next to the pool. I would give this hotel 4 out of 5 stars the five days we where staying here. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

DO NOT GO. Biggest tourist trap. Felt more like a festival than a cute little island. I wish I had read the reviews in advance. While the water and island in itself are gorgeous, this place is completely overrun. This is the clearest case of over-tourism that I’ve ever witnessed and I’m ashamed to have contributed. The place was black of people and it’s so stressful to be there. Moreover, you end up paying way more than the actual price of the tour. 50k for the tour. But then just before departure, you need to pay 3k more. Then just before arriving on the island, pay 10k more. We did not understand why we needed to pay these extra fees. When on the island, if you want to snorkel, you need to pay 20k for mask, 20k for water shoes and 10k for a locker.

If you want peace of mind to relax, this is not the place. The island is ruined by people. People floating around trying to look at fish in the water and they run into each other. People throwing Frisbees and smacking each other in the face.There was too many people when I was here but I heard it can be much worse.. Otherwise this is a beautiful place.

But there are way too many people, it's unbelievably crowded by tourists and the locals made a thing out of it and everybody wants to sell you something (I understand, they have to earn money somehow but the whole experience was not relaxed and enjoyable through all those points) You feel like a fish in an aquarium yourself. If you want to visit I would recommend three things : 1. Bring watershoes (sea urchins and stones) 2. Don't book a full day there! (We stayed one hour and it was enough for our nerves) 3. Try to leave your valuables at home, you can rent a locker there for 10k cop but they don't seem that trustworthy (mostly broken and demolished plastic lockers)

Omg the best fried fish I've ever tried. And you have to try the Casuela de mariscos, it is spectacular!!!. The restaurant is in front of the beach and also have tables inside. You can have some drinks and order lunch and the waitress call you when its ready. The people are so nice and kind too.

For $20 you get a very average meal. I ordered cazuela de mariscos which I expected to be great. It did have the mariscos but the cream was tastless slimy something. What an amazing place! I hurt my knee and thus felt like the place to recover and enjoy the beach at the same time! And what was i right! The friendliness made of for the lack of english ( my Spanish was even worse!) and made me feel at home. All the days the staff greeted me with a smile and positive energy! The food allround was good with a couple of amazing dishes. Something with shrimp, coconut en garlic. Tables, beach, toilet and showers where a nice and always clean. It's a really relaxing place close to the beach. The service is good and staff attentative. It was a shame our main meals were cold but otherwise a good spot on what is probably one of the best beach areas I've visited so far in SA.

The ambiente of the place is very nice but its a too high price for what you get. They even ask you for volunteer tip although you pay 60.000 cop just to be there. It would be ok if the service is perfect but half of the menu was not available and we were not informed that some ingredients in a dish were not available, so they just prepared it without guacamole. Room had a nauseating smell I couldn’t identify for a while…turned out to be the incense sticks left in the bathroom, to which some foul transformation had occurred in the heat and humidity. Had to leave the small window open for my whole stay. On that note: no windows at, well, window level, they were all more skylights. Enough to let in some light but not see out, meant the room felt even more cramped than it was. Floor sticky and dirty, just walking barefoot after showering and my feet quickly became grey with dust and grime. Shower pressure abysmal with no hot water. Could not wash my hair, the water was at suck a trickle. Towels coarse and thin. Breakfast was prepared to order, one plate of eggs and a single pancake per guest, which was good for quality but not quantity. Only four tables in the dining area, multiple guests had to stand waiting for others to finish. Location was convenient, ten minute walk to the airport and half that to the waterfront promenade. Due to a flight change I only stayed one night. It was fine for that solitary night, though I can’t say I am disappointed at the flight rescheduling in hindsight.

Grand Carribe Hotel is a good value about a block from the beach. The breakfast buffet was pretty good with some homemade typical foods. The room was good, big shower but only tepidly hot water, which wasn't a huge problem because it is hellishly hot here. The AC was great. Rooms have a safe, TV, good bed. At front desk they will provide beach towels, take 2/person, they are sort of small. There is no elevator or pool. Overall pretty good hotel, if you don't need the beachfront luxury hotels.

You easily meet other guests, however take in mind that it’s not a party hostel. The location of the hostel is also perfect (good and safe) and you can easily walk to the city centre or beach within +/- 10 minutes. We stayed 5 nights at Karribik and really enjoyed the chilled vibes. It's a small place which suited us but always someone around to have a chat with. There's a chill out area with a TV which was good for a stormy afternoon but a nice balcony with tables and swing seats too. We stayed in a private room so can't comment on the dorms but we had a huge bed and our own bathroom. Towels/bedding were changed every couple of days. The kitchen was great, we cooked everyday. There's a D1 supermarket 5 minutes away for bargain essentials and a bigger Supertodo a bit further away for fruit and veg. It was about 2km walk from the main beach but this meant it was nice and quiet (our room was at the back so our room was quiet) and you can get a bus pretty much outside down to Rocky Cay if you don't want to walk. Rosie was great, answered any queries and sorted any issues immediately. They scooters and golf buggies available for rent for a good price. There were ants in the kitchen at times but this was due to other guests being lazy and not cleaning up in the kitchen. Would recommend this place to anybody who prefers a chilled place to stay.

I had a great time here eben though part of my trip was bad weather and I even had to stay a night longer because of a hurricane. But the staff was always really nice and welcoming to me. It was no problem at all to spontaneously stay longer and because of the special occasion I was not even charged extra for the late checkout. I am very grateful, thank you so much. :) I also met really nice other travelers although the hostal wasn't booked out. It is more of a chillout place with a hammock and a kitchen. For me it had everything I needed.

Decent apartments to stay at. The owner is really welcoming and friendly and the room is very comfortable. There is a general lack of hot water it seems in the island so it isn't particular to these apartments. WiFi is quite slow. It is very pricey (£67/$90 per night) for what it is, however, the beach is beautiful so just about worth a stay around this area of the island.

Best Hostel i ever stayed in. I went together with my girlfriend and from the beginning to the end of the hostel we have been treated like family. Beautifull place runned by beautifull people. The hostel is 20 minutes with scooter away of the super touristic city centre of san andres. Big V raizal home is located in a nice small village close to some really chill beaches. You can rent a scooter and discover the island. This hostel made our trip to san andres perfect and we are maybe even comming back after our month in colombia specially for big v!!

The owner is super kind and the breakfast good. As on many islands the wifi does not work. The rooms have only fan. The bath is not very inviting. Everything is super basic. The moscitos are hungry, so don't forget repellant.
