Alright, so Taps Beer Bar is pretty cool! They’ve got some tasty food and a seriously good range of beers. If you’re into stronger stuff, their cocktails hit the spot too. The crew there is super friendly, which is always a plus. And here’s a sweet deal: drop over RM 200, and you’re in the club for a 10% discount. Definitely a solid spot to chill and grab some drinks!

I had a fantastic experience at Tap Beer Bar! The selection of craft beers was impressive, offering a wide variety of local and international brews. Awesome beer bar.. 10 fresh beers on draught plus several in the fridge. OK selection of spirits etc. Good atmosphere with surprisingly good live music on evening I visited (Sunday). Will definitely revisit when in the area and super close to street food street.. Would highly recommend..
We had a wonderful experience at Taps Beer Bar in Bukit Bintang! 🍻 The service staff were extremely helpful in assisting us with choosing the right beers, patiently explaining the different options and making sure we enjoyed our picks. Their friendliness made us feel really welcomed.
On top of that, the live band was absolutely amazing with talented artists who created such a relaxing and enjoyable vibe throughout the night. 🎶 It was the perfect balance of great drinks, attentive service, and soothing live music.

Great venue, good beers, good music, best service. Bartender took time to walk me through their bottle selection since they had no menu. Went on our last night in KL looking for a chill place to wind down from hectic three days and the venue exceeded expectations. The menu was quite ample for a beer pub. Wife loved the apple-mango and apple-lychee ciders. I went with a draft IPA from Malaysia that was delicious and the bartender got me to try a NZ hazy IPA that was spot on. Would definitely recommend stopping by. Craft beers are not inexpensive but the experience was a good value.
As you go in, you feel the great atmosphere with a live band. The bar ofter bottles and cans as long as draught beers. They only serve 1 size. Beers on draughts aren't outstanding but it's hard to find better in Malaysia.
Went to Taps for the beer, and fell in foody love with a pizza 😍. The capriossa pizza was almost perfection with a crusty crunchy, but soft in the middle outter crust and the rest was a delightful mix of fresh, tasty and hot ingredients. Helped down by some nice beers and a lot of choices for them was a big bonus. Definitely going back

The Great Beer Bar in Damansara Utama is a must-visit for beer enthusiasts. With up to eight craft beers on rotation and most specialty beers priced at around RM20, it's a great spot to explore different brews without breaking the bank. The minimalist space with communal tables exudes a casual and modern vibe, while the fridge stocks an impressive variety from renowned craft breweries.
Superb craft beer place in Damansara Uptown. Service is impeccable; Pavel is friendly, and extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the craft. Yakitori has veggie options that are great. Prices are reasonable compared to other craft beer places in KL. GBB is one of my 'local' haunts and we frequent it often!

Good place if you like craft beer and conversations. It's a small, calm bar with a wide selection of beer from around the world. They have a few on tap, but most are bottles/cans. Service was excellent and the atmosphere relaxed and suitable for conversation.

Came across this bar after our dinner in uptown. Decided to give it a try as it had craft beer. Asked the bartender for some recommendation but was replied with some sarcasm and no help at all. Ordered cold IPA & paperkite. Both underwhelming. Seating area was alright.
Honestly, the best craft beer experience i have had. I also absolutely love Pavel! Very knowledgeable, witty and fun! Had spot on recommendations. Im not a beer drinker usually, but this may change my mind 🙈 hehe.
So various kinds of beers, and the staffs were kind to help choosing the beer.
They also had some skewered chicken and that was so good!

Ok, so the kitchen was closed the time we visited so this is purely a beer venue review. But the choices were better than 95% or the bars, pubs and clubs in KL. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the beers were cold. Nothing else needed except for snacks.

The bar's location behind the supermarket adds to its allure as a speakeasy-style getaway. Once inside, patrons can escape from the outside world and enjoy a wide selection of beers in a cozy taproom setting.
The Best bottle shop in KL🍺 Rare items like Saint Bernardus, Delirium, 3fonteinen, and more. This is unbelievable.
My choice was Malaysian local beer which you won’t find easily, Legend Black, the black lager brewed in Selangor Malaysia. Very tasty and strong flavor, I loved it!

Was very quiet when I went in for takeaways during the day.
Staff member didn't know much about his products, but that's okay.
Prices were about double what I would pay in Australia, but that's what happens in a Muslim country I guess.
A little bit hard to find. I entered through the back of a small supermarket.
I paid RM240 for 4 of their cheaper/mid range options. Expensive, but I enjoyed having something quality to drink.

The place is not the prettiest and getting there is weird because it is inside a shopping mall past two fast food places. But it's worth it, an incredible amount of fridges and high quality beers in them. If you don't find the beer you are looking for, you won't find it in Malaysia.

Great little craft beer bar.
We just stopped in for a quick beer, had a yuzu beer and a session IPA. Yuzu beer was nice, not too sweet, with a lemony floral honey flavor. The session was excellent- so crisp and hoppy.
They had a nice little bottle selection as well. The vibe was very inviting and casual.

Had a great New Year’s Eve here for chill drink session with my friend. This is a really great place to chill at night with your friends and craft beers. Craft beer selection might not be as many as the craft beer bar chain in town but the environment here is really good and cozy. If you’re not sure which beer suits you better, you can always ask the cute lady and handsome gentleman who work there. They’re always ready to assist you. Highly recommended if you’re into craft beer with cozy environment.

Cozy ambient. Comfortable place to chill after work or weekends. Specialised in imported craft beers such as IPA, mainly from Australia and NZ. Look out for addition of new craft beer. An excellent place to go if you want try craft beers. They have quite an array of selection with a good price and some beers got their own promotion/deals. I personally liked Kinnegar Bucket & Spade that we had when we're there a couple of weeks ago. The place isn't really spacious, so I would recommend coming here with a group of 5 or less.

Reasonable Happy Hour beer selection which rotates no doubt. Industrial chic meets craft passion. Decent beer selection, obviously focused mostly on “regional” beers, but fair play, not tampered with like the ball in a test game, so on the whole batting on a straight wicket here. Beer temps always going to be an issue in Asia, so IPAs are a bit cold, but generally top watering hole. Well done Mr Mah!
It's very easy to walk past and not know it's there. They could do with a sign at street level. Modern interior. Interestingly they sell wine as well as craft beer. The selection of beer is very good. There's plenty of unusual beers. Mostly Aussie brews. The beers are all on the wall with the price above the bottle. They are sorted by beer style which is a nice idea. They do have free wifi. I had fish and chips for 21 Rm which was pretty good. Friendly helpful service Recommended

Takumi Craft Bar is a hidden gem located on the lower ground floor of Isetan The Japan Store in Kuala Lumpur. This bar offers a diverse selection of Japanese wine, beer, and whisky for both retail purchase and consumption on-site. Guests can enjoy glasses of wine from various Japanese wineries or opt for draft beers, including the option to sample three kinds through a tasting flight.
What a great find! Not the largest range of craft beer in KL, but still plenty of choice and at reasonable prices (significantly cheaper than their sister outlet Taps). There are four or five beers on draft or you can drink the bottles and cans from the fridge on the premises as well as eat food from any of the other stalls. The Burmese lady working there is very helpful, the atmosphere is calm and quiet and I'd fully recommend coming here to any craft beer enthusiast.

Nice addition to the food court. Lots of choices to try. Beer isn't cheap in Malaysia and this bar is no exception. The food court is really fun and a must do when in KL. Technically you could probably walk around with your drink and bring the glass back.

One of the hidden gems in the heart of KL! Quiet, refined and secluded from all the hustle and bustle of city. Located underground (LG Floor), Takumi craft has quite a wide range of craft beers and liquors you can try. From Japan (Hitachino) to UK(Brewdog), this bar offers only the best tasting profile craft beers which excites and intrigue my tastebuds. Takumi craft also makes me feel at home as the sitting area interior design was giving out a chill vibe and comfy feel. It is definitely a place for a long overdue catch up with a friend as noise level was fairly low. You can also order a few dishes from the nearby food shops if you’re feeling hungry or in need of a snack. With all this in mind, Takumi craft has definitely won me as a special bar place in my heart.
On LG floor in the ISetan part (separate to the foodhall) surrounded by a supermarket, opposite 'Snacks and Sweets' section, beside an escalator. It took a long time to find this, the only sign is at the bar itself. There is no sign on the directory, or anywhere else. If it was easier to find I would have given 5 stars.
Come by for beer in the afternoon.. service is really bad despite we are the only customer. I think the person in charge is just not interested to serve anyone . The beer is ordinary Japanese beer .. if u don’t expect any simple service like recommend what is good .. popular it’s fine to order a beer .. that’s it.

We love the great atmosphere, vibes of the place and the excellent food. Noteworthy of a mention is the aged beef, watermelon salad, octopus and the seabass - all served in perfection. Gavel offers quite a mixed bag of authentic 'western' food comprising a range of salads, pastas, pies, fish and chips and roasts. They mentioned that they have the best Sunday Roast but too bad, I don't usually come here on Sundays cos I am still reminiscing Yorkshire Puddings.
Their menu is quite pricey thus we went for their set lunch which is quite reasonable. Option to have either two-course or three-course. Two courses - you choose either starter or dessert.
Among us, we ordered:
1) Poached Chicken Breast with Creamed Spinach
2) Squid Ink Pasta with Sun-dried Tomatoes
3) Fish and Chips with Mushy Peas
No options were provided for the dessert and they had steamed pear with vanilla ice-cream and raspberry puree.
I had the chicken breast and although the portion was decent, the meat was slightly on the dry side. It was very well-seasoned nevertheless and the creamed spinach was perfect. Dish would be great if the chicken was juicier.
Colleagues had the pasta and fish and chips. Pasta was alright, cooked al-dente and not overly seasoned. Fish and chips were large, portion wise. The batter was crispy, not overly oily, and the size of fish was decent too. However, colleague mentioned that she felt the dish to be a bit cloying towards the end.
Dessert was above average, nothing to shout about. All of our ice cream melted and would have preferred that it came more 'solid'. The pear was alright though, not sweet (which is what I prefer) cos it probably show that they don't douse it with sweeteners.
Overall, decent place for lunch. Something different beyond the usual food around the area.
Great bar, for lunch or dinner. The beers are what you come here for. Excellent choice of beers. The Paper Kite ipa is really good. The service is outstanding, the girls and guys are the best, always friendly and time for a chat. So when you are in KL come have a beer at Gavels. Can truly recommend.
Ok, who likes above par food and craft beer? If that you, get down to Gavel and thank me later. Beer choices are better than 90% of the places in Malaysia and they were cold, which also seems to be hard to do here atost places in KL. Had the nacho's only this visit and they were perfect. Last year Gavel won best Sunday roast in KL, so I need to be there for that for sure, but as we visited Saturday......
Gavel is one of the best values in town turning out good solid mainly British staples at very decent prices. Service can be excellent if you engage the staff some of whose English can be hard to understand. The Sunday Roast is a very popular and for good reason-it is good and reasonably priced. I also like the Octopus which served on a bed of red pesto baby onions and chillis as well their mussels. Keep up the good work
One of the best in KL, the food is great, the beer selection is very good and the staff are very friendly. Highly recommended if you like craft beers or a great place to have a drink or eat.
We happened upon this bar/restaurant on our first night of 3 in Kuala Lumpur. The welcome was so good, we only stopped in to try the craft ales and ended up staying for food. The food is predominantly European which suited us, the craft ale is a little more expensive than the regular beer prices but well worth it. We loved it so much that we went there every evening for drinks and food. The beef Wellington was fabulous and it was on special when we visited, also the proper chips were proper!.

Farmer's Bar @ Avenue K is part of a well-known craft beer bar group in the Klang Valley, with multiple venues across the area. They offer an impressive selection of beers from around the world, including specialty brews from Asia and Australasia. In addition to their physical locations, Farmer's Bar also operates as one of the first online craft beer stores in West Malaysia, providing same-day delivery within Klang Valley for orders placed by 7 PM.
Came here after seeing some recommendations on Tiktok and this place lived up to it's hype. Sadly we went early so we could not experience this place at full capacity! I'm sure the vibes are immaculate with more people.
Visited here with my family to try and the food was great. Really good Western food in the middle of KL city center. The price is pretty good too.
The staff was friendly, and patient with us as we had to change our booking at the last minute. Thankfully we managed to move our reservation. Thanks to the staff of Farmer's Bar for the great experience!

I had a terrible experience at this bar. I ordered the chicken and halfway through my meal, I discovered the chicken was raw inside. I immediately informed the waitress, and they just cooked the uncooked piece while leaving the rest as is, then served it back to me. To my surprise, the "re-cooked" chicken was dry and overcooked. We didn’t even touch it after that. To make matters worse, there was no apology or any form of compensation offered by the staff. The service was horrendous, and I will definitely not be returning to this restaurant. Highly disappointed.

Good drink choices, but food. It wasn't cook properly where by no taste and chicken is still raw.
Ordered the sizzling katsu chicken the chicken is still raw inside and the egg should be cooked as it is sizzling but till we finish our drink it's still super runny.

While it was a good time trying some new beers with friends, I was a little let down by the selection. I was hoping for some freshly crafted in-house brews, but it turns out they were just standard beers from different countries.
The atmosphere was quiet and great for conversation, which we appreciated. However, paying RM 150 for three beers felt a bit steep. It was a nice one-time experience, but probably not somewhere I’d return.
Environment vibe just fantastic. I would say most of the in house craft beer, the taste and experience just out of the world. The fried pork stick, it is must try dishes. They are one of the best beer shop in PJ area.

A great vibe restaurant and think would be a perfect place to go on a date, loved ones, friends and colleagues. Food was delicious and drinks were amazing too. The team were very friendly and gave great recommendations. The Gin Pahit Cocktail was their signature and I do indeed recommend to try! There are outdoor seatings and think this would be nice place to chill and even work remotely. Would definitely go back in the near future! :)

Last night at Bar Pahit was a special experience, featuring a “one night only” bar takeover by Art, the bar manager of The Old Man Hong Kong. The collaboration brought a unique energy to the venue, making it an evening to remember.
I sampled all four cocktails on the menu, each one a testament to Art’s creativity and expertise. The balance of flavors, technique, and presentation truly stood out, showcasing why The Old Man Hong Kong has earned its reputation.
Bar Pahit itself remains an excellent spot in Kuala Lumpur, known for its focus on gin-based cocktails and a laid-back yet refined atmosphere. The intimate setting and friendly service made the takeover even more enjoyable.

This is review is specific to only the drinks. They specialize in gin, and they're one of the better cocktail bars I've been to around the world during my travels. That includes most of the top ten on the 2024 50 Best Bar list. If they branched out to more spirits they'd have a shot at being on the list on flavor alone. Their cocktails are very well balanced but always put the gin flavor forward. They offer bitter, sweet, herbal, and creative cocktails that cover every pallet. Seating is available inside and outside but mosquitoes do come to bite in both seats. There's an upstairs for overflow. The staff is awesome, speaks English, and accepts credit cards. You'll pay about $10 usd for a drink.

I recently visited, and while it had some positives, the overall experience was underwhelming.
First, the payment system was inconvenient—you have to pay at the counter, which makes it feel more like a casual café than a proper craft beer spot. For a place that isn’t exactly cheap, I expected a bit more in terms of service.
The atmosphere was cozy, making it a decent spot to grab a drink and unwind. However, the seating options were uncomfortable—you either sit on a chair that’s way too low or struggle with a tall stool that has no backrest. Not ideal for a long, enjoyable evening.
The food was actually good, but it took way too long to arrive, even though the place wasn’t busy. That was the most frustrating part—there was no reason for such a long wait. The service itself didn’t help either, as you have to pay at the counter instead of getting proper table service.
Final Verdict: If you’re just here for craft beer and some snacks, it’s okay. But if you’re expecting a proper dinner with good service, this isn’t the place for you.

Food and drinks served here were okay, seems to be Japanese/Taiwanese/Chinese fusion. Most of them below RM20. I'd say the looks and taste was 50-50, but the noodle bowl was a bit too salty to my liking. Beers start at RM40. Cocktails need to be ordered separately at the counter. They only had cheesecakes and pies for desserts. Not sure how to describe it but it wasn't the kind of pie texture that I was expecting. The crust was dry and extremely crumbly while the filling was a soft paste. 🤷

Jao Tim is a trendy new spot in Changkat Bukit Bintang that offers a unique take on Italian cuisine. The ambiance of the cafe on Petaling Street is reminiscent of an old hotel, with wooden paneling and brass fittings adding to its charm. This fusion of Italian flavors and vintage aesthetics makes Jao Tim a must-visit destination in Kuala Lumpur.
Came here for a live RNB performance. I've always wanted to come to this establishment and I'm glad that I was finally able to catch a show. This venue has a nice stage for local artists, a good sound and lighting system plus patrons with the same vibes adds to the environment. I would recommend following their instagram page to see which artist or what kind of performance they're having each week so you can join in for a fun lounge experience. I would also like to give a special shout out to the sweet potato highball I've had, which remains one of my favourite variation of a highball as of yet.

It was my first visit to Jao Tim KL, and I was pleasantly surprised by the overall atmosphere. The place has a beautiful vintage charm — exposed brick walls, high ceilings, and warm lighting that makes you feel cozy the moment you step in.
What makes Jao Tim stand out is that they even have live band performances during the day, which is quite rare for bars in KL. It’s not your typical nightclub vibe — more like a relaxing lounge where you can sip a drink, chat with friends, and enjoy quality live music.
I also tried my very first cocktail here, the Red Carpet Treatment, and it was excellent. The cocktails are creative, well-balanced, and reasonably priced.
Events here are diverse, some ticketed and some free, so there’s always something new to look forward to. Overall, Jao Tim is a great spot if you’re looking for a classy yet laid-back place in the heart of Petaling Street. Definitely worth following their social media for event updates!

An evening of entertainment and live musuc at Jao Tim. I had a mocktail and a bowl of soup and some chips, while listening to the live band and enjoying the relaxing time with family. Jao Tim’s menu offers rice bowls and sandwiches, simple and reasonably priced. There’s a small cover charge for the show but we must support our local music talents! Will come again for sure.
An admirable platform for local performers to showcase their musical talents. Most shows are impressive, with appreciative audiences often participating. The rustic and industrial chic interior, with sufficient acoustics, makes a remarkable performing stage.
It does get uncomfortable from the midpoint of a show because of the closed seating, hard seats, difficult viewing angles, limited bar menu and room congestion for popular shows. Nevertheless, Jao Tim (hotel in Cantonese) provides a unique live music experience that is low-cost, fun and entertaining, as well as supports local talent.
We didn’t try food here since we went for live band / Jazz and ballad show. It was a nice atmosphere, amazing service and great quality cocktails. They make killer nigroni and my partner enjoyed their cognac.
Had a great time listening to live music with Melissa Anne. Sound system was good enough and not to deafening even when seated right in front.
The drinks were hit and miss but with the snacks it makes up for it.
Do make reservations and get your tickets as walking in might not get you a spot in to enjoy the live music session.
Live performances here are always the best and the most magical. Love the vibes, best intimate venue for live music. Local musicians are the focus here and I love that this venue supports our local music scene and our local bands and artists.
Drinks are not super cheap though and in my past 2 visits/separate shows here, unfortunately, both times, not super impressed with the cocktails.

I went there with a friend and as the menu offers on Ladies night, the cocktails are free flow. After two times of refilling the drinks the waiter rudely said that the menu is outdated and it is only limited into two refills instead of being free flow. I asked the manager or supervisor and he (a south asian person with no name tags) bogusly pretend busy not to respond me. Twenty minutes later he came to me and said after two times of refill it become self service.
Guys, since you can't even see this address on google map please stop waisting money here and for sure that area is filled with other pubs to relax rather than being scammed. Adding water to beer is the worst act of a pub scammer which is happening here. drink two towers of beer and feel no taste. what a shame

Had a really bad experience here. Went there for lunch as they sell lunch set menu as well. We ordered on 11.59am and the food only came around 12.50pm. We chased them so many times and all they did was saying that it's coming. Until we can wait no more and said we want to cancel the order only the food came. Curious to find out more as they serve set lunches. A few choices, to name a few; bbq pork rice, pork chop and even a hakka noodle. It took a short while for the drink and food to arrive. It looked like a smallish portion, but adequate.
It’s too noisy especially when they have a live band. If the vocal said it’s last song, it wasn’t last song even no one requested anchor. The sound system was poor and instrumental parts and vocal were the same volume. So I cannot be patient and my ears were almost broken. The band’s performance was also boring. She sung all the songs in the same way and tone. Nothing original. I went there with my friends we always have fun but not for here. All my friends were getting sleepy even in the very loud atmosphere. I cannot recommend if you want to talk or have fun with friends. I can recommend if you want to enjoy music but not night club.

My wife and I were here today for lunch at this (our favourite in KL) food court. We are from Johor Bahru and we were last here in 2017. It was good to see that this food court has been able to maintain its many "famous" stalls after these years. However, our go-to stalls here are: Kim Lian Kee Hokkien Mee and Lee Kee('s) Imbi Road Original Pork Noodle. And we were happy that these 2 noodle are still very well prepared and delicious as ever. We also like the dining ambience here - spacious, well-ventilated and in air-conditioned comfort. As for the service, it was good enough for us.
This place used be such an outstanding forefront of quality, vogue and stylised themed food court. A collection of renowned local food purveyor all under one roof or more like under one basement. Recently revisited to find that it seems to have lost its shine and repute. Most of the outlets are manned by non local workers only. The quality and taste is average and a shadow of its former self original operations and intents. The again, it is still a convenient, comfortable and clean food court, if one is in the vicinity and troublesome to go here and there for the specific local favourites.
Hutong over the years seem to be deteoriating in the quality and taste of food they serve. I was highly disappointed with the quality and taste of food. For the first time, I had the most bland, single-note, 1 dimensional and just made it to be edible claypot chicken rice. Never before have I had this dish tasting the way it did and even the salted fish was not fragrant. I believe this may not be the only stall where the standard of food has dropped as I should have noted the red flag of hardly anyone having their meal in Hutong on a Friday night. Even though the place still has beautiful decor, plenty of seats, good air conditioning and was clean, the quality of food has really put me off in wanting to return here for potentially future regrettable meals.
Honestly, being a local I would not eat at this overpriced overrated place. It’s mainly a tourist trap with said local specialty hawker food as so claimed however upon closer look mainly you see foreign workers are hired as cook! To maintain the quality of taste locals are still needed to handle the wok not foreigner cook, why? Cause they can’t tell the difference, and just trained to do so and so forth! We went for a so called Hong Kong traditional wantan mee and it was terrible. The cashier is rude and never smiles to customers. It’s like we have to beg from him at his mercy! The bbq pork was thinly cut with too many tendons and the soup was cold! And what more it was priced at RM18 just for a single served of noodles. C’mon YTL, I’m sure you can do better than that!
Lot 10 Hutong was founded in 2009 by YTL Corporation's managing director, Tan Sri Francis Yeoh, to preserve Malaysia's culinary heritage by gathering some of the country's most famous and oldest hawker stalls under one roof.
Located in the basement of the Lot 10 shopping mall, it is served by the best handpick hawkers in the city and we just loved it. While it’s not run by the original hawkers, they have done well to preserve the taste.
This place has been upgraded to become so clean and attractive. The Bak kut teh stall has an A rating. Crowded people outside the hutong but inside the eating place is quiet and cool.

We were a large group of eight, including small children, and were looking for a place that could cater to all our needs. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by the incredible staff. Their friendliness, professionalism, and willingness to go the extra mile truly set this place apart. The menu is impressively varied — from delicious local’s favourites, main meals, pastas, pizzas, and fresh salads. We sampled almost everything, and every dish was a hit. The food was served swiftly, with generous portions, rich flavors, and top-notch presentation. It’s clear they put heart into every plate. The pastries were especially delightful, and their artisan-brewed coffee is a must-try!
What really added to the relaxed, vibrant atmosphere was the swimming pool — such a unique touch that helped keep the space cool and inviting.

Probably the best French food in Malaysia as the food tested five out of five for all the dishes. The ingredients were very fresh cooked definitely and the service is amazing what I love the most about the restaurant that they have an aesthetic theme. Good for photography good for dates and a very nice luxury environment with a good selection of wine.

Celebrated my birthday weekend at Entier French Dining with their 4-Course Lunch Set and it was truly memorable. The Salmon Tartar was the standout. Fresh and flavourful. Another must order dish is their prawn and mango. Service was spot on. Can't wait to come back to taste thier tasting menu
My family visited this place for lunch. We were happy with the food and services provided at this restaurant. Kevin did justice in explaining the details of every dishes as well as provided the prompt services despite being a busy Diwali afternoon. He is always cheerful and professional in meeting our needs. For food wise, every dishes is impeccably prepared and tasteful. Not pretentious. Desserts are well balanced. With the right amount of sweetness and acidity.

I’ve been celebrating my birthday at Bait for several years now, and I absolutely love the tradition of enjoying their complimentary oysters. The ambiance is always charming, and it’s a place that holds a special place in my heart.
That said, over the past few years, I’ve noticed that the atmosphere has become a bit less personal. The warm, friendly touches that used to make the experience feel so special seem to have faded a bit. While the food remains great and the ambiance is still lovely, I do miss the personal connection and the extra touches that made the celebration feel unique.
I hope that in the future, Bait can bring back that warm, neighborhood vibe that made it so special. Until then, I’ll still enjoy my visits, but with a bit of nostalgia.

Came here after reading reviews claiming they serve the best aglio olio in Bangsar. Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the hype.
Despite a quiet evening, I waited about 15 minutes for my order. The portion was generous with seafood, but the execution fell short. The mussels tasted like they were just poached in water, lacking any flavour. The prawns had a deep-fried texture, which felt out of place, and only the clams seemed properly cooked in the aglio olio itself.
When I brought it up to the staff, they mentioned that the chef was new — hopefully things improve with time.

The stout and ale are not watered down and a decent price for the economy we’re in. I like how chill it is and you can easily relax in this pub. There are also TVs that put on rugby and football games. The fish and chips were lovely, pork pie just absolutely delicious. I would definitely come again.

Just passed by as I was finding a place for lunch. While scrolling through the menu, the lady introduced me the special they had that day being Lasagna. Surprising as you wouldn't think Lasagna is the forte of a pub. Great suggestion as it was easily the best Lasagna I had so far, very balanced flavour throughout the meal with a soft bun to pair. Proper lasagna you can actually taste each individual layers eaten. With melted cheese on top, middle layers are moist and laden with meat. Unlike certain places whereby the top and bottom layers are very hard while the middle is usually dry, I enjoyed this very much. Pity it's only on Wednesdays, would be convenient if it's part of the menu so I can come during the weekends and wash it down with a cold pint!

I visited the Pub on 16 Oct 2025 and the staff on duty at 1200 pm (midday ) has an atttitude problem with a stressed face and no customer service and was on the boderline of being curt and rude to my companinon and myself as we there for lunch. The set lunch was not upto mark as the chicken was dry. The mash and vegetables was good with the side of the sauce.With this type of service level and staff attitude, this will the last visit to this pub.
Honestly, it’s been a refreshing change to taste the new menu at the recently renovated Sid’s Pub. Every dish is exactly what pub grub is all about with an added enhancement on flavour bombs. If you want your fix of all the classics and more, get your butt to Sid’s! Been to this place a few times now, and it’s one of my favourite restaurants in town! Good food, friendly staff and a nice ambience to dine in. They have a wide variety of good Belgian beers too. Parking spaces are also available right in front of the place.

We chose this restaurant to celebrate Mother’s Day based on a recommendation, but the experience fell far below expectations.
The service was the biggest letdown. The staff taking orders were unfriendly and seemed indifferent to customers, which made the interaction unpleasant. To make matters worse, one of our meals arrived extremely late; after the rest of the group had already finished eating.
While we understand that Mother’s Day can be busy, basic courtesy and efficient service shouldn’t be compromised. For a bar-restaurant, the lack of proper customer engagement was surprising and disappointing.
Unfortunately, due to this experience, we won’t be returning or recommending this place to others. A celebration like this deserves better.
Came here to have a beer(or a few) and pick a restaurant along this strip cause it seemed like there’s a ton of good spots. When I saw the menu I decided I wasn’t going anywhere and went ‘ham.’ The staff is friendly and attentive. The food is awesome. This place is a well oiled machine. Definitely want to come back and take on their sausage platter. I paired these with the Belle-Vue Kriek on draft and it was perfect. I imagine it’s a perfect beer to pair with many of their savoury dishes.

Wide selection of imported beers , on the tap or bottled are available here. The menu also has selection to go with beers and other main meals. The quality of food is good here. The dining hall is comfortable and well designed for a pleasant dining experience.

1. Mushroom soup - 4.5/5 : will order this anytime. It's quite palatable, but the portion could have been bigger! 😍😋
2. Pork chop - 3/5 : it was quite a tough experience cutting through the hardened meat! Not sure what was wrong, but I would prefer tender meat. Great portion though.
3. Belgian classics pig in blanket - 3.5/5 : the bread served together with this dish was too tiny. The sausages were Allright.
4. Cordon bleu chicken - 5/5 : probably the best cordon bleu I've ever had. The outer layer is crunchy while the insides remain juicy and tender. I would want to try this again one day! 😍🤩👌😋
5. Bolognese pasta - 3.5/5 : sizeable portion for pasta lovers. However, I found the taste to be ordinary.

Awesome Staff. I & my wife were passing by and it started raining very heavily. We entered the place as an emergency and ordered a grab car. Even though we didn’t buy anything being Muslims, the female staff still took an umbrella and dropped each of us near to the grab car one by one to ensure we don’t get wet. It was such an amazing gesture that it’s been 2 years and I still remember her kind heart. THANK YOU FOR MAKING OUR DAY AND CREATING SUCH A POSITIVE MEMORY. YOU ARE AWESOME.

I went here to see a music performance, and everything about the artist and the performance was alright, with some aspects being perfect.
The staff was also nice, and the prices were acceptable. The venue is located in a mall that has shops and a food court, allowing you to wait comfortably before the music starts.
However, it can be difficult to access public transportation, and it tends to get quite hot and uncomfortable when the place is crowded.
The place is more alive at night. Had a food tasting event at this place and we tried out the Bee’s Classic Nachos, Grilled Chicken New Orleans and Spaghetti Aglio Olio. The nachos is a must-try here cz it’s crispy, fresh aand cheesy (but not too overwhelming).
Attended the Elijah Wood concert, the entire place during the concert was so freaking hot. Hosting up to 500 pax one would expect the environment to be cool and comfortable for the audience, but no... All standing some more and so close of a proximity (shoulder to shoulder)... imagine the heat....#freesauna

First time to the bee, there was a concert which was nice. I was looking more for an outdoor seating, so I was greeted with really friendly staff. They gave me a table and let me know what’s good. Good services for sure.
But omg the prices... went up the roof. RM19 for truffle fries but it was good. Sangria was RM60 for a jug. Plus tax- it’s almost rm100! Gotta think twice about coming here next time. Definitely broke af from just drinks and small portion of fries.

Build your own pasta (Rm 35.90)
What we personally love about building our own pasta, is the fact that we can make it as flavourful and tasty as possible (although most of the time it may not necessarily mean healthy). Today’s pasta was constructed on a Aglio Olio foundation cooked Al dente and topped with tender, peppery grilled chicken with a slightly crispy skin. This was accompanied by a generous amount of juicy beef bacon with some fat attached adding flavour to the dish. Completing the dish was a downpour of aromatic fried onions, garlic and crunchy mushrooms.
Recommended? For picky and selective eaters such as ourselves, this proved to be a perfect customisable dish.

The performer in that night was Rainbow Children, because of the sound system is well below par for a live room, I wasn't really enjoy their show though this band still keep their high level of standard that night.
I would waste my money for any show at this place in future.
The Bee is a very interesting venue. Part bar. Part restaurant. Part performance and dance venue. I was there for the Hu. The acoustics of the venue was surprisingly good. Place is easy to get to also. Will return and try their food on my next visit.

Mak's Chee Authentic Wonton is a popular Cantonese restaurant that serves delicious wontons and noodles. The establishment received the Bib Gourmand award, which is not as prestigious as a Michelin star, but still signifies good food at moderate prices. The first outlet opened in 1 Utama in 2016, followed by Mid Valley Megamall and Pavilion Elite in 2017.
Really authentic Hong Kong noodles, the broth was really flavourful, noodles were springy, wantans were filled with big juicy prawns and shui jiao was not bad. Beef brisket was also tender and the HK style milk tea in a bed of ice was delicious as well.

The HK kailan was nice and crunchy.
As this was my first time here, I didn't know you can ask for sambal chilli oil to eat with the beef noodles. It would have been better if the waiters were to ask the customer whether they would like the chilli oil.
Overall had a nice lunch. Will come back again. Next time must ask for the chilli oil.

It was hard to believe that it has already been 2 years since we last dined at this familiar spot. With Malaysia’s ever-evolving food scene and new eateries sprouting up like mushrooms after the rain, we have found ourselves constantly exploring fresh dining options. Yet today, nostalgia brought us back.
While strolling past this place, the Mr. suddenly felt a wave of craving and fondness for their signature wanton noodles—something he’s always had a soft spot for.
Without hesitation, he suggested we stop by, and I was more than happy to oblige, especially since I have been missing their juicy prawn wantons.

This time around, our little girl decided to try something different from us—she went for the rice dish, and to our surprise, she really enjoyed it. What truly won her over was the generous slab of thick, hearty luncheon meat that came with it.
As for us, we stuck with our all-time favorite, the classic wanton noodles and those plump, juicy prawn wantons. We were happy to find that the quality hasn’t changed one bit.
The noodles were as springy and flavorful as we remembered, and the prawn dumplings still packed the same succulent punch that keeps us coming back. It’s always a comfort when a place you haven’t visited in a while still delivers the same taste and satisfaction you once fell in love with.
I love HK style noodles but so far no HK noodle shops in Malaysia have left me with a lasting impression including this Mak's Chee 😔
I had a dumpling noodle soup, the first thing that came into my mind was the soup was very light AND a tad too salty. Simply put, 'salty water' sans umami broth 😢
HK noodles are known for that distinctive rubbery, springy texture, however here at Mak's it isn't rubbery enough, so disappointing! 😫
With 10% service charge for hardly any service required/provided and the portion is remarkably on the tiny side, I'd say some of the low-key HK joints I visited in Penang a while back were far better in taste, quality and value.
I'm giving up hope of ever finding an authentic HK noodle house in Malaysia. It's time I caught a flight straight to HK! 😅👍

I had a generally good experience at Mak's Chee in Mid Valley Megamall (also stumbled upon this by accident). Apparently, it has an old history since the 1920s and their signature dish is their wantons. I tried the Beef Brisket Noodles and Wonton Soup—both were good options. The noodles had a perfect, springy texture, and while the wontons were on the smaller side, they were flavorful and satisfying.
The menu has a wide selection beyond just the classic wonton noodles, so there’s plenty of choice if you’re in the mood for something different. It can get quite crowded, especially during lunch hour. I arrived early at around 11:45 AM and was seated quickly, but by mid-noon, there was a bit of a line already forming.
If you're dining alone, they might seat you at one of the individual counter-style seats along the wall, which is efficient but something to be aware of.
Overall, Mak's Chee is a solid spot for a quick and delicious meal—especially if you’re craving authentic Hong Kong-style noodles and soups.

Defintely one of the bars in KL with the most extensive focus on rums! Great to try out some unique and lesser known rums though it is definitely pricey. Try some of their flights or ask for some recommendations if you don't know where to start! Don't sleep on the Ngoh Hiang though, it's fantastic with the chilli and great to pair with the rums!
A truly great evening in a quite remarkable neighbourhood bar. The service was warm, friendly and sincerely looking to please. The rum range has to be the best in Malaysia, with plenty of bottle only found in Europe or the USA.
I must mention the sheer quantity of the drinks made. Amongst the best cocktails I’ve had anywhere.
Don’t go for the food, but if you do want something there is food to be had, simple tasty, good.

Arrived late with some friends. The guest shift cocktails were largely sold out and only had a a couple of serves of “rusty nail” left. So had a beer instead.

Quaint ! Really good coffee served in a claypot which adds a certain indescribable flavour, basically enhancing the beverage. Suggest you pour only what you gonna drink so as to keep the remainder warm/hot then pour more when you want more ! There was even a very strong Rum&Coffee alcoholic version so you get a decent kick from it. The roasted pork (ChaSiew) is excellent in its softness, almost like melt in your mouth ! The claypot fried CheeCheongFan (rice rolls) nice but not spectacular that you gotta order it. Oh there's a nice touch of dated Chinese songstress playing in the back that helps take you back to a different era which helps to keep the themed ambience. Toilet is clean tho just the single one for both genders; gotta wait if someone gets in first.

By night this place will transformed into a pub for drinking or chill with endless old school music from the 60s and 70s.
Atmosphere wise is cool and retro but food is quite normal actually.
But still, worth a visit to this Instagram worthy spot.

I have been sent here on the promise of finding good meat: I was specifically looking for Argentinian striploin. There was absolutely nothing in beef but the same Australian “so so” product that I can find in my supermarket… the staff had no clue of Argentinian meat will be restocked. I tried the lamb but there too: only Australian, no trace of NZ lamb… I don’t see the point of this shop. I didn’t buy anything.
This place has been my go-to butcher for years due to the fair price. However, there's been a sharp increase. Photo attached is price difference for same product, bought a week apart. Will unfortunately need to start looking for alternatives.

Bonus: parking’s easy after 5pm, either roadside or at the open carpark behind. Will definitely be back!

We have had a wonderful stay and the service is exceptional. We were very well looked after by Midhun. We enjoyed the benefits of the Club Milleseme access. This is definitely worth paying that little extra if you’re going to be making use of the hotel. Currently enjoying drinks and food (5-7pm) after making the most of the afternoon tea (2-4pm). For breakfast you had a choice of downstairs in the main restaurant or up in The Club Area.
From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm welcome and professionalism of the staff. The check-in was smooth, and every team member I met was genuinely attentive and courteous.

I had an exceptionally comfortable stay here. Sleep quality was excellent and the room layout was very thoughtfully designed – especially having the toilet and shower areas completely separated. The bathtub, paired with bath salts, was a lovely luxury touch. I also really appreciated the generous provision of drinking water, including bottles placed on both sides of the bed during turn-down service.
The room itself was spacious and practical, featuring a proper work desk, ample luggage space and a walk-in wardrobe which made the stay extremely convenient and comfortable.
The location is excellent – close to Pavilion Mall but pleasantly less congested compared to the main city centre. This made dining and shopping much more enjoyable with shorter waiting times. Grab rides were easy to arrange and quick, with plenty of great cafés and eateries nearby in the Damansara area.

Of all the accor hotel I stayed, this is one of the best service I experienced. Location is great, near to two malls and also can avoid congested gams if travel by car. Was upgraded to complimentary lounge access and the service was really great there! Shout out to Lachana's service, she check-in on us as and when she can and ensure the service is delivered well. Service staff Midhun was attentive and drinks ordered was quickly served. Service was top notch at the lounge and not forgetting the service staff at the lobby who managed my check in. They are polite and friendly and also the doorman direct us to the Pavilion was very helpful and clear with directions. The rooms are well maintained too.
Nice staff anishhma and vano from lounge and away from downstairs bar were very considerate and attentive. Room cleanliness was excellent. Kudos to afifa asif and Paul. Only minus was f&b. I had notified in advance regarding dietary requirements but on trip it didnt seem like this registered. I asked to speak to f&b manager during stay but he never got in touch even though I waa told he was notified. Location wasn't great for city access although was convenient for brickfielsa and bangsar.

The Beer Garage at Bandar Sunway is a great place to have lunch. The food is fantastic and the atmosphere is really cool. They've got a lot of different beers on tap, as well as some great cocktails. The only downside is that it can be quite busy, so try to visit during peak times if you want to get a seat.
I visited here for the first time, and I had a positive experience because of the pleasant atmosphere. The concept is a restaurant that resembles a car garage. Although the food was tasty, you could think the serving was a little too tiny. Drinks and foods are reasonably priced, including alcohol. The food may be delayed, especially at busy times, but the service was decent.
Parking is surely not a problem because there are lots of street parking spaces available near the restaurant after hours.

The food is so pathetic. I ordered a variety of food. . first it was the fish and chips. The chips were so thin and hard .. I nearly broke a teeth trying to bite into it . Hawaiian pizza was thin and had no toppings on it. Just only the tomato paste.. fried pineapple rice had only pineapples in it... I spent a Whooping 180 ringgit . Would never patronize this place again.. a dissapointment..!!!

I ordered a takeaway from your restaurant today and I’m really disappointed with the Thai beef noodle portion. I specifically requested no vegetables and beansprouts, but expected the usual beef slices and beef balls. For RM42.80, the portion of noodles and beef I received was very small, and there were no beef balls at all. This is very disappointing.

Was in the area so decided to try the social. I like the vibe as we stepped into the greenery decor. I had the option to choose alfresco dining or head into the restaurant. Because it was lunch time I chose the latter. It was nice to know they'd a lunch set menu so me and my husband got truffle fries, fried squid, carbonara and pizza shawarma. They're all very tasty. I especially like the carbonara as it's not doused in cream. The spaghetti was al dente and more! Perfect texture. And the flavours were well rounded. 100% would order this again. I also like how the pasta came served on a hot plate, as it should be! Small details like this I appreciate.
I also am happy that the truffle fries were crispy and hot with sufficient truffle and parmesan (can never have too much truffle:)) and the fried squid were a delight!
I'm just ok with the pizza shawarma though but my husband enjoyed it. I just think that it lacked flavour but I must commend on the garlic sauce that came with it. Really good!
We also add on RM5 for bottomless drinks which I didn't know was bottomless but that's on me because I didn't read! I like how the ice lemon tea was actually made proper instead of some pre-made ones and the sugar syrup on the side was a nice touch.
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed the food, service and ambience. I hope when we return next time, the food would be equally as delicious, and most of all consistent. All the best in meeting my next expectations! Lol

Raised has been our favourite Japanese restaurant despite there are some other more premium restaurants. However, tonight experience is not favourable. Food quality deteriorates a lot. All the dishes that we ordered are our regular dishes, but the quality has been very poor this time. Probably caused by long serving time after the food ready by the kitchen. The ingredients also seems to cut off from standard menu.
First time dining here. The restaurant is a bit like tucked in the corner of Sunway Pyramid first floor of the Oasis Boulevard section.
Waiting time after placing an order was around 15 minutes, but it was not too bad considering the food we ordered.
My chicken katsu curry rice was not too spicy but flavorful. Carrot and potato were soft. Chicken katsu was crispy and juicy. It was fried to golden crispy and very good.
The cranky salmon was good and a treat to much on.
The staff was also very attentive and polite. Constantly monitoring our green tea cup to ensure it's always topped up.

Arrived at 11.50 when they open at 12 and they still seated us so that was great. Not crowded and i find it a great sunday brunch spot. Parked beneath where noko used to be (on waze, look up noko bangsar 3). Lots of parking at an affordable price. The parking lot has 2 floors with staircase access to up to where the police station is. Walked around 5 to 7 minutes to the restaurant. Would recommend dropping people off then parking there if youre with a huge group or with anyone with limited mobility.
Food was great. Ordered their pork burger with fries, cheesy fries, and their dons chicken salad. We also ordered drinks. Their honey lemon has like a fruity yuzu taste to it that is so refreshing. Love their assortment of sauces as well. They have their homemade tomato, chilli, and sweet chilli sauce. Great to eat with the fried and cheese. They have a wide assortment of dishes ranging from western to local Asian dishes.
Their chicken in the salad wasnt dry and I love their fries. The burger was juicy and tender and elevated with the sauce.
Service was a bit lacking where we had trouble getting someone to take our order but other than that, the food was great and no one was rude or anything. Food was a bit slow but since they just opened for the day, it was understandable. Would come back again.

Despite the good food and amazingly cold beer, we are having hard to get the staff attention . Been waiting more than 10mins to get our beer refilled just to finally find out the staff is actually having a phone call opposite the outlet .

This is the second time I've been here. The first time was on a weekend evening, it was packed and had a band. It was very good.
The last time was on a weekday and I got there early for as online 'as much as you can drink' deal. If you're a pretty good drinker, this is a bargain relative to the high prices of bars in KL.
So, for me, this is a nice bar that seems popular. All the staff were friendly and the environment is very good.

Drink prices are not on the low side however but understandable for a place in such an upscale neighbourhood. Try their Macho Nachos but sure to wing it out with some friends as the portion is huge.

The food is superb! Beyond my expectations really. Had the Mediterranean salad, Prawn Sambal Spaghetti and skinny crust mushroom pizza. Love every one of them! It was indeed a remarkable dining experience here. This cafe is decorated with various unique artistic lamps which are for sale and tables are well parted for good privacy and cosiness. The cafe is run by a couple where all the food and beverages are carefully prepared by them. We sampled the chicken chop, grilled salmon and Spanish Iberico pork steak. These dishes are well prepared, Even the salad and mashed potatoes are the finest you can expect. The tiramisu as dessert is also one of the best I've ever tasted which is homemade by the owner using the finest ingredients. Although the pricing is higher, it's well justified for the food quality.
After the meal, the owner was friendly to have a short chat with me on the long 6 year history of how this cafe was managed. It's indeed a tough competition going on where a cafe with such a unique ambience and high food quality is struggling to survive. A lamp shop on the first floor above Guardian in Sri Petaling that has gone beyond selling lighting fixtures. This premise is filled with many interesting lamps for sale, some made by the founder.
I took an instant liking to the cafe as soon as I stepped into the premise - various unique lamps mix & match with decorations such as paintings & partitions; plus different tables and chairs. I quite like the whole environment - quiet, private and cosy with a friendly owner to match. That was, until a group of aunties came in and started to chat loudly 🤣

Well Craft is a pet-friendly watering hole with great craft beers and delicious fries. It's clean, bright, and the perfect place to relax with friends. There's also a barber shop inside, so you can get that much-needed haircut without having to leave your comfortable surroundings.
Good selection of beer. Tried a few IPAs. A bit pricey compared to other craft beer places but the ambience, service and music made up. I particularly liked the music which was mostly 70’s classic rock. The staff was pleasant. I tried the pizza which was fresh and well prepared.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Wellcraft in Kuala Lumpur, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish! The atmosphere is incredibly inviting, with a warm and modern design that makes you feel right at home.
The staff truly made my visit memorable. Julia was exceptionally welcoming and attentive; she guided me through the menu with enthusiasm and made excellent recommendations. Mary and Ching were also fantastic, ensuring that I had everything I needed and checking in to ensure my experience was perfect. Dev brought a wonderful energy to the place, making conversations feel effortless and enjoyable.
Overall, Wellcraft is a gem in Kuala Lumpur, and the combination of a great atmosphere and attentive staff like Julia, Mary, Ching, and Dev makes it a must-visit destination. I can’t wait to return for another delightful experience! Highly recommended.

So waaayy overpriced. Then there’s the service - pizza orders that need to be reminded about. No ability to upgrade a single beer to a set. Seriously??? I get it if you don’t want our custom. We could easily have dropped +RM500 on food and drinks. But we didn’t due to poor service. I’ll be frequenting Uptown and Taman Midah with my buddies for craft beer before Sri Hartamas next time. Even Mont Kiara had some funky craft beer bars that was a more pleasurable experience than here. Don’t say “Sorry - next time speak to me…”. Fix it up and make it this time. Done 😕

GLASS Tartines & Tipples is a very comfortable and nice restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. The staff are super friendly and the wine is great value for money. Fridays from 6pm onwards they have live bands which should be pretty fun.

The food here tasted really nice. We enjoyed the meatballs and the smoked duck pasta. However, as they were probably understaffed, there were not many options, and we couldn't really get what was on the digital menu. So be prepared for a surprise when you get the bill, because you may not know the actual price of what you've ordered from the waiter. There's also a 10% service tax, but the service was good, so no complaints there.
Having lunch here, i ordered crab meat fried rice & my colleague ordered nasi lemak with rendang beef. The crab meat fried rice was a bit disappointing, not much meat and the fried rice was not so tasty. The nasi lemak beef rendang is up to standard.
Had breakfast here as part of our stay in E&O. Service is terrible. Waited more than 1 hour and were served with cold nasi lemak & big breakfast. A lady came out and asks about the food. We didn't say anything about the slow service because we're not in a hurry. But we did point out that the nasi lemak is bland. Not enough seasoning and we couldn't taste the coconut milk. She became defensive and rude. (No apologies were offered) Is this how you run your cafe? We only had 1 breakfast there and decided to get food somewhere else for the rest of our stay because of the lady named Sharon. DO NOT GO HERE.
We were really unlucky, and my friend and I got badly food poisoned. We spent the whole night in the bathroom. It’s such a shame they don’t follow proper sanitary standards there.

Lovely ambience with indoor and outdoor seating. Isaiah the waiter was excellent. We had flat whites, lemon cheesecake, pulled chicken with melted mozzarella on a bed of fresh lettuce - all of which was nice. The prawn fritter bites lacked seasoning though. I hear they have a live band and bbq on Fridays starting from 6pm onwards.. so that should be good.
Nice and comfortable environment. The bumblebee cake is very interesting. Banana cake with pineapple filling and coconut flake toppings. House wine is actually a big glass and served chilled.

Tabe tomo is a great place for people who wants a drink and a snack. This place is famous for their yakitori which is japanese grilled skewers. The environment there is family friendly and a great place for colleagues to hangout after work. It is an air-conditioned place. It has a smoking and non smoking area. Before ordering the food, they will serve you side dishes to each people. As for food, I had several items from the menu. The first 1 is a big scottish egg. The egg is coated with minced pork and fried till crispy brown on the outside. It was okay but not that fascinating. The next thing we had was the chicken and egg don. It was a so so experience for that. It taste like he normally chicken eggs don where u can find in any Japanese restaurants. The third item was the mash potato wrapped with roasted beef and topped with. The mash potatoes were sort of bland and tasteless. The mash potatoes are cold and there were chunks of potatoes in the mash. But the roasted beef were tender and cold. I also ordered an appetizer which is a bowl of yam noodle. The yam noodle is spicy and appetizing and a great way to start the meal. The yakitori's that I had ordered are the chicken radish yakitori, chicken with mince leek yakitori and chicken with blue cheese. The radish and leek yakitori were average. To those who wanna try something interesting is the blue cheese chicken yakitori. It has a really strong smelly sour taste to it. But that is how blue cheese taste like. The smell was horrible but once I ate it it wasn't bad at all. So, the overall experience at tabe tomo was pleasant. But I felt like its overpriced.

The lady in front of me got smiles from the bartender and even a top-up of beer when the froth settled down. Yes, the bartender actually waited for the froth to settle before topping up the 2 pints. I ordered a pint of beer and a craft cocktail. My pint had froth too, which settled by the time he came back with the cocktail, but no top-up for me.

Just found this gem of a shop (now 2nd outlet at Linc KL). While their whisky selection is still expanding, their price is simply unbeatable. They also store their products in ideal conditions not to mention the packaging of their bottles are one of the best I’ve seen.
Visited recently — The young lady was busy arranging stock but still greeted me when she saw me, which I appreciated. Another was just standing at the corner. I only realized she was staff when she greeted another customer.
