What a 180. I arrived around 6:30pm and loved it. Atmosphere amazing. Music perfect. A slight (not overpowering) scent of incense that added an air of exoticism. Cocktails very well thought out. And then… On my 3rd cocktail something started dripping on me from the ceiling. I got no apology. They didn’t check to see what it was (I’m assuming condensation from the AC). Instead they say I can move one seat over - at the end of the bar hanging with the servers (and their friends that showed up and turned it into a sports bar.) And then… I go to use restroom. Only one men’s stall and it’s occupied. Eventually someone comes out - it’s a server and they don’t bother to wash their hands. And THAT was the last straw.

The venue was hidden behind a facade for a toy store, once I realised that getting in was easy. The door opened to dimly lit hallways leading to the back where the bar was located. The service was great, I was sat immediately and walked through the options. Cocktails were very well made and showcased local ingredients and flavours, would highly recommended for anyone looking to try high quality Cocktails, or for an atmospheric experience.

Located in Petaling Street, and they have like some unique interior design!! Their Cocktails also really good, more towards the adventurous taste.. The only thing I think can be improved is to give your bar some chairs for us to seat🤓🤓 loveeee spending time there especially in bar side. But it would be much better if there were some chairs though😊 Shout out to all the bartenders & staffs!

What a hidden place for intimate talk, they have 3 sections, 2 people table for privacy, outdoor place and indoor place with music. The cocktails are unique with unique names. I like the dimly atmosphere, good for friends gathering or intimate talk.

I loved this hidden bar! The music and vibe were fantastic, and the cocktails were absolutely amazing. The only area for improvement would be the smoking/vaping section, which was in the middle of the bar. Since it’s still an indoor space, it felt a bit stuffy and overwhelming. Other than that, I really appreciated the extensive cocktail menu—such a great selection!

I reserved a table at Marini’s on 57 to celebrate my husband’s and my 3rd wedding anniversary, and it was such a memorable experience. We were recommended this place by a family member, and it truly is a hidden gem in KL. From the moment we arrived, everything felt seamless—security is top-notch and the service is outstanding. The staff are not only professional and attentive but also incredibly pleasant, often stopping by for a friendly chat which added a warm touch to the evening. The food and drinks were amazing—absolutely worth the slightly higher price range. The atmosphere is lively even during the week, with great music that complements the setting. One of the biggest highlights is the breathtaking view of the Twin Towers from the bar terrace—an experience in itself! We will definitely be returning, next time with friends and family, to share this wonderful spot. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a special night out in KL.

From 🇪🇸 An amazing place! We came to have our last supper before flying back home after 14 days in Vietnam and there are no words. The staff is amazing, the views are breath taking and the food is even better. If you can do not miss the opportunity to go.

My advise is to read their booking email. There are some do's and don'ts which is good to know beforehand. They are pretty strict so it's better to just follow it. The best advantage about this place is their view. Even though you may feel that the price is a little high, based on the building location, based on the incredible view, it's a premium that you will need to accept. I ordered a few dishes and in summary, they are all plated beautifully. In general, the taste is delicious. Flavoured nicely with a good balance that ties up all its components. I ordered 2 starters. The fois gras is cooked with great timing, leaving it a little firm on the edges and nicely 'creamy' at the centre. Scallops also had a good sear with juicy soft centre. As for the mains, both the pasta tasted superb, with delicious slightly complex gravy. The fish also came visually pleasing and tasted fresh and juicy. The lamb however I think need a bit of tweak. Even though I asked for medium, it came quite cooked and dry. Usually medium lamb is juicy but this was disappointingly dry. Fortunately the others were excellently prepared. The dessert completed an excellent meal. Both panna cotta and Mille-Feuille were well constructed. They weren't overly sweet and quite light if you share it amongst a few diners. I guess in the end, the experience matters. The superb view here will be the final decision maker on eating here.

Nice place to get drinks and enjoy the sunset. Nice view looking at the towers. Not sure how this compares with views at the twin towers but drinks here for two seems like a better deal than going up to the towers which is now 100 per person.

Marini’s on 57 is absolutely spectacular for the views alone—panoramic cityscapes and up-close sights of the Petronas Towers make it one of the most memorable spots in KL. The atmosphere is upscale, chic, and perfect for anything from a romantic night to a special celebration. The cuisine is very good, with Italian-inspired dishes, and there’s an impressively wide drinks selection, including signature cocktails and fine wines. If you’re looking for an unforgettable experience with breathtaking scenery over Kuala Lumpur, this is the place to go. Highly recommended!

Food was amazing and surprisinglt filling. A truly cool fine dining experience. The staff explained each dish and wine. There was live music too and truly enjoyed the night view of the KLCC towers from our table. Highly recommend their oysters. Super meaty and juicy.

I love the place but for food the taste not fresh ada bau sikit. Here good for Cake i think the cake very nice & Coffee not many choice. But people come here i think good for meeting not for heavy food

Charming little place. Our cocktails were a mixed bag. The self starter was great, distinct gin flavour but balanced well with citrus. The Louisiana one wasn't more than the sum of its parts, though, just felt like a bunch of different liquors tossed into a glass. The amber beauty and the not by scarscelli were both fine. Worth a visit, but not top of my list.

I really enjoyed the drinks in this packed little speakeasy, in particular their negroni and boulevardier. They also serve a decent hotdog if you weren’t able to eat before coming (order the special). Be prepared to rub shoulders with people, though - it can get very crowded.

Solid drinks, and fantastic music. But given that it's KL's sole representative on Asia's 50 Best Bars, I had higher expectations and I don't think the drinks were superior (be it in terms of balance or creativity) as places like Coppersmith and Skulldaggery. Anyway, to access it: Look for the long signboard that lists Bangunan Ming & Annexe, Nosh Tipple & Brew; go down the stairs below the metal shutters; then push past the white door with the No Admittance sign.

One of the smallest bar hidden on street side, like a diamond hiding in the corner. Only me and another pair of lady sitting on the bar that night, made it a peaceful moment for me. Great as a quiet drinking place. Monkey berry is good, sweet and sour, smooth to drink. Definitely will return here for some silence moment.

When I heard they were closing for good, I told myself that I had to come by for a final hurrah. Alas, that was last March and the MCO popped up the next week and I didn't make it on time. This establishment was one of the earliest speakeasies in KL. It was also one of the more popular ones known for it's incredible and innovative approach to cocktails. Also, it has one of the best 'hidden' entrances for a speakeasy and up till today, I still think it is a classic. I wish them well and good luck in their next venture. They will be missed, for sure!

Loved the atmosphere. The drinks were delicious despite it being slightly ordinary looking, the bartender we had, Karl was really good at coming up with drinks that was suited to our tastes. The bar itself is a non-smoking area, but occasionally the smells of cigarette smoke wafts in when the door opens.

Love the concept. Small but cosy place. Cool drinks but can be stronger...do check them out!

Live music which gives it a very cool vibe to go for beers or dinner. Excellente service with the staff always smilling and checking in on you. Just at the heart of the night life district so also a good place to start your evening. Only downside is that the prices are a little steep but still worth checking out and having a good time there!

The best place with the best music, food, service and VIBE! Mezze platter was good. Tried gin based cocktails on server’s recommendation and it was really nice. Should’ve gone here again… miss this place.

Not a bad spot overall, but smoking is prevalent everywhere, which might be a downside for some. I attended on ladies' night, feeling excited, but was let down by the drink options—only frozen margaritas were served, and they were overly sour. Not recommended for ladies seeking an awesome night out!

Defintely one of the bars in KL with the most extensive focus on rums! Great to try out some unique and lesser known rums though it is definitely pricey. Try some of their flights or ask for some recommendations if you don't know where to start! Don't sleep on the Ngoh Hiang though, it's fantastic with the chilli and great to pair with the rums!

A truly great evening in a quite remarkable neighbourhood bar. The service was warm, friendly and sincerely looking to please. The rum range has to be the best in Malaysia, with plenty of bottle only found in Europe or the USA. I must mention the sheer quantity of the drinks made. Amongst the best cocktails I’ve had anywhere. Don’t go for the food, but if you do want something there is food to be had, simple tasty, good. Very, very highly recommended.

My bf loves to take me to different types of cocktails bars to try. He suggested this place and it was sucha a chilled unique place. Love their cocktails and the way the explains in details of their drinks. Staffs was super friendly and services was extremely good. Their fried chicken is to die for. Definitely worth it. Will come again for sure for another date night.

Good visit on a crowded night during KL cocktail week 2025. Arrived late with some friends. The guest shift cocktails were largely sold out and only had a a couple of serves of “rusty nail” left. So had a beer instead. The cocktail was decent, the Italian beer was good. The team at the bar offered an excellent customer experience. 👏👏👏

One of the best! The team is really friendly and warm. The owner would ask what's my preference and recommend cocktails accordingly. Loved all the 4 different cocktails I had, even when I asked for something that's off menu! Also, their grilled cheese sandwich is perfect. Overall really enjoyed my evening here!

We were so happy to get a window seat with that amazing view over KL — it really is spectacular. But then came the twist: after midnight they stopped serving, so we just sat there staring at the Petronas Towers with empty glasses. Great place, great vibe, but what’s the point of the best seat in the house if you can’t order a drink?

The Sky Bar on the 33rd floor of Traders Hotel was absolutely amazing! A bar with a superb view of the Petronas Twin Towers at night. We were lucky enough to catch the Deepavali-themed colors of the Twin Towers, which were stunning! Although there was a minimum spend of RM100 per person (Shangri-La members get a 10% discount), we had dinner at the our hotel’s lounge before coming, so we were pretty full, but the salmon quinoa salad we ordered was incredibly delicious, and the desserts were also very tasty. The only downside was the cocktails, which were just average. Considering the view and the food, I think it was well worth it.

The place is located strategically beside KLCC Convention Center. The rooftop level has an amazing view over the KLCC park and the twin towers plus the swimming pool is spacious. Staffs are well coordinated, attentive and treated us well and fairly. Food items are alright. The pricing is a bit high for its quality but the location and the view is justified.

Incredible view of Petronas Towers. To get a window sit there is a minimum consumption of MYR 100, which is fair. you can get good food and/or drinks and stay as long as you wish. I went on a Sunday at 6pm and there was no queue. After dark it gets busier. No particular dress code required. Staff was very nice.

Brought here on a work function and wow. You don't get anything like this in Australia. Amazing views of the Petronas towers. The atmosphere at night was electric. Excellent live band. No idea how much this place costs but id say a lot... very upmarket and would be worth every rupee.

Chill environment with great drinks and attentive service. Do make a reservation as the available seats outside wasn’t the most comfortable. Grape mocktail tasted amazing as the sweetness was just right. It reminded me of the grape konjac jelly. Special shoutout to the brownie, was extremely fudgey, decadent and warm. Nuts within it helped with texture.

A must visit at Bangsar! Great drinks, great good, love the vibe and the staff were great too. Such a playful and unique curation of cocktails. It was such a fun experience at Coley. Definitely make reservations before you come. I recommend the Gin and Coconut and the Nikisha as well as the Mango and Rum. Lovely, refreshing, and not too sweet.

My new favourite bar in KL! Chilled and relaxed but still very welcoming... amazing hosts who engage with you and really care that you're having a good time. Cocktail list is just so damn edgy! These guys aren't afraid to try something new and completely different to the norm. Well worth seeking out next time you're around the Bangsar area.

We had a wonderful time at Coley with its wonderful drinks and hospitality. Each drink had its own distinct character and the flavours described came through. The staff were knowledgable and gave good recommendations. We had a couple of snacks from the food menu which were really good and paired well with the drinks. Appreciate the mocktail choices too - felt like they put in effort to craft them as well. Great when you need something to sober up or gathering with friends who don’t drink!

So many great drinks, where do I begin. For starters, you can go for their KOK serious, locally influenced cocktails. Refreshing and great, I had the Gin and Coconut which is really refreshing and you can taste the gin nicely. My most memorable drinks are the Nikisha, hint of wasabi and strawberry foam and the Moscow Surgery. Every drinks I had were great, from the sweet potato slushie, to the Yron of the tea. It is probably one of my favorite KL bar now. Definitely a must try.

I’ve been visiting Coley quite often over the past 2 months since it’s only a short walk from my office. While the food menu isn’t very extensive (i heard the new menu is ready to launch soon?), the appetizers are good and the cocktails are the real highlight. My go-to drinks are Rum & Jambu (RM37) and the Hanky Spanky (RM50) always, both are spot on, especially the Hanky Spanky 👍. Of course there have plenty of other great cocktails depending on your taste. What I really appreciate is how the bartenders take time to explain the drinks in detail, ask for your preferences, and recommend options to match. They’re friendly, approachable, and always proactive in checking in for feedback. It’s a great spot to chill with friends or even enjoy a drink alone. Reservations via WhatsApp are super convenient and the team is very responsive as well. Highly recommended if you’re looking for quality cocktails in KL/Bangsar!

I appreciate having a draft IPA in Malaysia which rarely serves. Also appetites are scrumptious and very good atmosphere they have. Prices are a bit stubborn, so I have a bit hesitation to visit here again, but would be happy and welcome to visit again if I am affordable.

Nice Peruvian/tapas restaurant in KL. Nice atmosphere & friendly staff. Yuzu Margaritas were delicious, pisco sour was a nice flavour but had ice in it. It's not an over ice drink. The food was good, and tacos were delicious & enjoyed the ceviche. The only thing that let it down was that there was an error with my order. I wanted a single 1 person cevice, and the waiter put in a 2 person trio of cevice. When the food came out, we said that we didn't order it. There was a little commotion with staff, and the waiter came over to ask us to have the dish anyway, but it was quite different in price and contained elements I didn't want. He was quite insistent as it was already made, and we said we would take it if we had to but didn't want to pay for a dish for two when we didn't order it and it wasn't meant for sharing. He then said he would give us some money back when we paid, which he did, but the whole interaction was very strange and a bit awkward.

Not that I am used to such an atmosphere because suddenly I feel like perhaps I am more quiet, book reading and sipping coffee kind of person. Nonetheless, the food was great and there were interesting people and the crowd I was observing. Music loud and good so yea party away people!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Pisco Bar in Kuala Lumpur, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience! But what really stole the show was the incredible selection of cocktails. Didn't feel it's as authentic as Vermuth Next door. Feels like a local bar that's just named pisco and just trys to put live up to the south American name, as I've been to Chile & even experienced more authentic outlets in Asia named Pisco. But would still give a good rating on Tho the cocktails were v good Coffee negroni, pisco elderflower Tempe skewer was 👍🏻

Bar Trigona is honestly one of my favourite bars in KL. Their cocktails are always creative, made with local ingredients and cool twists, every drink feels like a little adventure. They greeted us with their special olive, which was such a nice touch to kick things off. The bartenders are super friendly, know their stuff, and are great at picking something based on what you like. The vibe is elegant yet cosy, especially during sunset when the city views glow golden. Perfect for a chill evening or a classy night out. Do yourself a favour and try the Trigona Old Fashioned, it’s smooth, balanced, and just heavenly. Already excited to go back for more great drinks and top notch service.

I have been to Bar Trigona several times before, sometimes with friends but often alone. For me, it was always a safe place to enjoy a drink quietly without needing to socialize. I was always treated kindly, especially by Khairil Anwar, who made me feel welcome and never made me feel out of place for coming alone. Tonight was very different. I arrived around 9:40pm and was told it was fully booked, even though many tables were empty. I was seated at the back but told I had to leave by 10pm. When I asked if I could move to the bar after that, I was told the bar was also “fully booked.” My food arrived late, and just after I finished eating at 10:51pm, I was asked to move again because the table was “reserved at 11pm.” By then, I had lost any appetite to stay. As I walked out, there were still plenty of empty tables. Sadly, it seems like the ladies on staff didn’t extend the same warmth and consideration that I had experienced in the past — almost as if one woman doesn’t treat another woman well. I left feeling unwelcome, rushed out, and honestly, quite hurt.

Their cocktail selection is pretty great but yes it’s pricey for a drink but you’re paying for the experience. Atmosphere was chill with nice views. They have many awards and it’s well deserved. The banana was my fave drink

The drinks at the bar were quite strong and not very smooth — they didn’t go down easily and lacked balance in flavor. Honestly, the welcome drink was the best part; it was refreshing, well-mixed, and much more enjoyable than the rest.

Fantastic!! They gave us the table by the window with a beautiful view. We had penicillins and the way this cocktail was made with one of the best I’ve ever tasted. Will definitely visit again when I go back to KL.

Loved my weekend at Bar Trigona! Dropped by both nights while in KL and had an awesome time. Melvin and Mitchell were super friendly and made amazing cocktails. Melvin was especially passionate about explaining each drink — and generous with the shots! Tried the Beef Sate (which was recommended to me) and Charcuterie — both were delicious, and the cheese platter was surprisingly great for a non-wine bar. I also loved the view from Level 6 of the Four Seasons. The place is gorgeous, with décor that really reflects Malaysia’s diverse culture. Even though I was dining alone, I never felt awkward. Overall, great drinks, food, and vibes. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a chill spot for quality cocktails in KL.

It’s not the best cocktail I’ve ever had. The flavor is a bit off-putting, but that’s subjective. I wouldn’t say it’s a must-try when you visit Kuala Lumpur.

Not for me for a couple of reasons. The bartenders are cool, but I would prefer them to explain to me what I am drinking ant the concept of their drinks. The drinks are interesting but not great. The bar allows smokers which is a turn off. But is an interesting speakeasy.

Canobi Lounge offers a truly mixed experience. Let me start with the undeniable positives: the hospitality is top-tier. The staff are attentive, friendly, and provide service that makes you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. The ambiance is beautifully designed, creating a sophisticated and comfortable setting for an evening out. Furthermore, the food and non-alcoholic beverages are excellent. The menu is creative, well-presented, and delicious, showcasing a great deal of culinary skill. We thoroughly enjoyed every dish we ordered, and the mocktails were flavorful and expertly crafted. However, for the Muslim community, there is a significant and unavoidable issue: the prominent offering and service of alcohol throughout the lounge. While the establishment itself is stylish and the halal food is superb, the pervasive presence of alcoholic beverages creates an environment that may not align with the comfort and principles of many Muslim patrons. The close proximity of these drinks on tables and at the bar can be off-putting and detracts from what would otherwise be a fantastic, fully inclusive venue. In summary, a great place in terms of service, food, and ambiance, but the alcohol service is a major drawback for those seeking a completely Islam-friendly environment. I hope the management might consider creating dedicated nights or a separate section to cater to this large segment of their potential clientele.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ (3/5) I visited Canopy Lounge after seeing some reviews saying it has a great view of the Twin Towers. Honestly, it was a bit underwhelming. The place is small, the atmosphere is okay, but nothing really special. You can only see a small part of the towers — not the stunning view I was hoping for. We ordered two drinks and the bill came to over 100 ringgit, which felt a bit pricey for what we got. On the bright side, the staff were super friendly and attentive — definitely a plus. Overall, it’s an okay spot if you want to chill and try it once, but don’t go with high expectations. Might suit those looking for a quiet lounge more than those chasing a perfect “Instagrammable” view.

honestly, a poor experience. the drinks barely had any alcohol and the watermelon shisha was one of the worst i’ve ever tried, it had zero taste and was very rough on the throat. the chicken 65 was a huge let down too and tasted more like popcorn chicken. the whisky sour was so bad, it tasted more like a milkshake and had zero alcohol taste. we tried a few other cocktails and they are all really poor and had almost no alcohol in it. a major rip off! i simply don’t understand all the good reviews raving about this place. the twin towers is barely visible too. service is slow as well. i would not recommend this overpriced and overrated place to anyone, there are much better options out there.

Sept 2025- Service was okay. Nothing to complain. The drinks were actually good. Thanks to the bartender. The ambience was okay. I was seating at the outdoor to get some breezy air. They had fans to cool you but the space wasn't that much. You gotta cramp up with other people but if you like to socialize, its for you then. They had shisha aand a tv showing cricket match and some not very nice music. Its more of a place to sit and lounge, not a bar type.

I really loved the atmosphere and vibe of the lounge! The service was excellent, and I felt genuinely welcomed by the staff especially Garry, who stood out for his warm smile and friendly attitude. This place is not bad, probably not the best timing but could be better. The food is kinda mid & also could be better as well. But the servers are very nice and helpful, & helped making good recommendation for my drink, especially Asad, he's such a great guy.

Came here for dinner and drinks. It was a lovely atmosphere with lovely staff and an amazing view of the patrons towers. The food was 10/10 and there was a wide range of cocktails that were lovely! Would definitely recommend on your visit to KL❤️

A great place to grab a craft beer in Kuala Lumpur. Well located, with a great selection of both draft beers and cans, delicious food and spectacular live music. Friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere, you couldn't ask for more.

I had a fantastic experience at Tap Beer Bar! The selection of craft beers was impressive, offering a wide variety of local and international brews. The atmosphere was lively yet cozy, making it a perfect spot to hang out with friends or unwind after a long day. We had a wonderful experience at Taps Beer Bar in Bukit Bintang! 🍻 The service staff were extremely helpful in assisting us with choosing the right beers, patiently explaining the different options and making sure we enjoyed our picks. Great venue, good beers, good music, best service. Bartender took time to walk me through their bottle selection since they had no menu. Went on our last night in KL looking for a chill place to wind down from hectic three days and the venue exceeded expectations. The menu was quite ample for a beer pub. Wife loved the apple-mango and apple-lychee ciders. I went with a draft IPA from Malaysia that was delicious and the bartender got me to try a NZ hazy IPA that was spot on. Would definitely recommend stopping by. Craft beers are not inexpensive but the experience was a good value.

Cocktail was a tad diluted (we tried the Highball and felt that it was not strong). After that we just stick to Beer. Which is awesome. Food ordered was also okay. Some were good some were just okay.

As you go in, you feel the great atmosphere with a live band. The bar ofter bottles and cans as long as draught beers. They only serve 1 size. Beers on draughts aren't outstanding but it's hard to find better in Malaysia.

We were a big group, and it's wasn't just my opinion... nice atmosphere, dj but too loud for the people in the bar area. My recent visit to the restaurant with friends was thoroughly enjoyable, thanks in large part to their accommodating service. We had requested a balcony seat, and they were more than happy to fulfill our request, enhancing our overall experience. Our server, Nova, was exceptionally kind and provided excellent recommendations, further elevating our dining experience. The double cheeseburger gyozas, which have always been a highlight of the menu, were as delicious as ever. However, I did notice that the portion size seems to be decreasing slightly. The ambience of the restaurant was inviting, and the music selection was pleasant, though it did get a bit loud at times. Despite this minor issue, the atmosphere remained conducive to a relaxed and enjoyable meal. Overall, the evening was a splendid and laid-back time spent with friends, and I left with a positive impression of the restaurant's service and food.

Came here to drink their cocktails and enjoy the weekend vibe. They open at 5pm. Is better for you to make a reservation if you don't want to get disappointment as there is limited seats. We ordered Pineapple and Green Day. Both cocktails are very delicious and the service crews are so friendly and attentive.

The food is nice but pricey and small portion. We ordered their promotional cocktails which is on the bitter side and didn’t taste great. Ambience is alright but they have a strict 2 hour dining restriction. If you are seated upstairs, you have to walk up a flight of narrow wooden stairs which can be quite scary to girls on heels, and definitely not dress-friendly ☹️

I’ve been hearing about Attic Bar for a while and finally checked it out last weekend. It’s tucked away in a hidden spot, same row as Beryl’s in Petaling Street. The place has a really nice vibe, but heads up, the narrow spiral staircase up to the 2nd floor can be tricky and challenging ok, so best not to go tipsy and for ladies, maybe skip the heels. Once inside, the atmosphere is cozy and relaxing, not too noisy, with limited seating that makes it feel more intimate. Cocktail prices are reasonable, and we tried 3 different drinks, all were good! Definitely planning to visit again next time.

There's a hidden bar located on top of a shophouse in Chinatown with Merdeka 118 view, within walking distance from the Pasar Seni LRT and MRT stations. To reach this rooftop bar, you'll need to climb a narrow, spiral staircase, so caution is advised. It's best to make a reservation if you plan to visit on a weekend night. Their brownies and cocktails are absolutely sedap, and while the space is a bit small, the ambience is truly beautiful.

I visited this place a week ago. I went there at 5 p.m. when it opened to enjoy the beautiful sunset and ordered some food. However, I was told that the chef hadn’t arrived yet and that orders could only be made after 6 p.m. I waited until 6, but no one came to ask about my order. Later, around 11 p.m., I visited again and asked for an outdoor table for two. A very rude female staff member refused, saying it was for two people only, and treated me like a beggar on the street. I’ve never experienced anything like this in my life. This place is absolutely terrible. Additionally, the menu said the drink was 20 ringgit, but when I got the receipt, it was 30 ringgit. Service charge? I honestly wonder what kind of “service” I received. The owner clearly adds service charges just to cover the staff’s salaries. This place deserves to go out of business.

This is review is specific to only the drinks. They specialize in gin, and they're one of the better cocktail bars I've been to around the world during my travels. That includes most of the top ten on the 2024 50 Best Bar list. If they branched out to more spirits they'd have a shot at being on the list on flavor alone. Their cocktails are very well balanced but always put the gin flavor forward. They offer bitter, sweet, herbal, and creative cocktails that cover every pallet. Seating is available inside and outside but mosquitoes do come to bite in both seats. There's an upstairs for overflow. The staff is awesome, speaks English, and accepts credit cards. You'll pay about $10 usd for a drink.

Had our Valentine’s at Reka:Bar—honestly, for the price, no complaints (find out next year lah). Starters were great, solid burg, decent dessert. Only the pesto spaghetti was slightly underwhelming, though the mushrooms were good. Drinks lineup: Pet Nat – 9/10 Cloud & Clear – 6/10 Watermelon Sugar High – 7/10 The only area we felt could be improved was the overall service. It would have been much better with a more experienced server, as the introduction and service felt somewhat simplified compared to the experience given to the Caucasian guests beside us. Additionally, the setup wasn’t the most ideal for a full dining experience – understandable given the speakeasy concept – but it did require extra caution to avoid accidentally breaking the glasses. One surprise, though: there was a 1.5-hour time limit, which wasn’t mentioned at all on WhatsApp or their website. If this is a strict policy, better to inform guests upfront. Final verdict: 3.5/5

Reka Bar is on another level. The drinks were absolutely incredible.! Creative, complex, and full of unexpected flavors that somehow just work. You can tell there’s a real concept and passion behind everything they do. The space is sleek but relaxed, and the team? So warm and welcoming. They make you feel like you’re part of something special. Easily one of the best bar experiences I’ve had in KL.

Top 50 Asia bars 2024! And it lived up to it! Drinks were really nice, my martini was especially nice, the beef burger was also very good ! Carbonara was a asian fusion Style and enjoyed that too! Definately a must try !

The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because I have not been here on a weekend so I don't know what the vibe is like. Other than that, I've been here twice and the staff are very helpful and the cocktails are amazing. The first time we had some selections from the gin menu, and the second time I had the smokey dog cocktail which was amazing! And everyone else's drinks got a thumbs up. Very cool and funky hideaway with lots of nearby restaurants to visit afterwards!

Came here with some friends, not sure what concept they were going for. The decor suggests it's a fancy bar but the loud music suggests it's a club and the people who come here are sort of caught in between, the alley entrance suggests it might be a speakeasy. Space is really limited as it's a small place. The ultimate downfall was that both toilets were not working when I was there. The line was going in and out of one of two stalls and people were getting a little worried that someone might have passed out or worse in one of the other stalls, so we scrambled to open it. Turns out it was just out of order but no sign or anything was put up. The one that was "working" didn't have any running water, so customers had to go in and out with a jug to the bar and back to be able to flush down the toilet traditional style. Seemed extremely unprofessional and how do you run an establishment with no working toilet. But if you can hold your bladder really well, you probably would enjoy this place more than I did.

Been coming here as my watering hole for many years, and their updated menu has spurred me to leave a well-deserved review. The Shirayaki Sambal of smoked catfish atop some sort of tomato sambal barley concoction was LOVE. 3 of us girls also shared the pork collar on pumpkin puree w kailan and pickled+non-pickled beetroot. Lovely for girls cos we want a balanced meal y’know 😆 I also loved their savoury mochi bomb filled with sambal. Can’t wait to try other dishes and eat the aforementioned dishes again! Just had a Guinness but this would be a great place to bring a date. Speakeasy ambience with interesting cocktails. Bit hard to find, it is straight up the stairs and good luck opening the metal doors the first time.

A cool restaurant and bar on the second floor of some shops in Petaling Jaya. The entrance is literally behind an old locker at the top of a staircase. You’ll know you’re there because it’s washed in a red light. They serve a large array of tapas and specialty cocktails, but have plenty of larger plates as well. My friend and I really enjoyed the pork belly tacos — those are a must-try. Definitely not authentic Mexican but the fusion is pulled off perfectly and they’re delectable. The Not Legal and Rasam Gin Sour were both very tasty and well crafted. Finally the chicken roulade was solid, especially the sauce it was served in. Definitely will return to The Lock & Loft at some point.

Had the most amazing time here, probably one of the better bars I've been to so far. Drinks were nothing short of delicious and strong, no signs of dilution or weak drinks although weaker drinks options are available to you. Food wise, their signature wings was TO DIE FOR, but the fries left me a little disappointed. Overall experience was overall amazing and would totally make this a usual spot if asked. If you're wondering whether to check it out, trust me when I say this.. do it. Don't be like me and put it off for a long time, just do it and have the time of your life.

thoroughly enjoyed the cocktails here! we had the Golden Age, which was a fun twist on the old fashioned and tasted incredible! we also had the Clover Royale which was delicious too! the truffle fries was a bit of a let down though. it wasn’t the most crispy and the truffle taste was lacking. it could just be one of those nights so do give it a try if you like! it’s a very small venue but service and ambience here is excellent, and i’d definitely be back to try the other cocktails! it’s a speakeasy bar but pretty easy to find!

Wow! What a nice hidden gem! Some great cocktails and very attentive staff. It was a very hot day and we turned up in shorts and flip flops but as it was early was aloud entry. It's only small but the type of place you need to dress correctly. I wish I knew in advance of the party the night before so missed out :( As you get onto floor 3 it's on the left (see photos, very well hidden) Would highly recommend if you like a place with some great drinks , cigars and a gentleman's feel to a pub.

Basically a hype place with below average food. Despite the effort from the chef to create something unique and fusion, for me the food is either too blend or too mixed up in weird taste that does not match and too overlapping the right taste. Crew was awesome to create a lively environment, Kudos to few that even had to dance & entertain patron while preparing food. For me is a one time hit diner, just to see and feel, done and forget kind of place.

Finding Suzie Wong was an adventure, we wandered with a few others also trying to locate it! Hidden and mysterious, it added to the experience. The venue was stunning, and the food delicious. It was pricier than expected, but worth it for a unique, unforgettable night in KL.

The place was nice , the show was fun. The food was awful maybe the worst ever in Malaysia and in life. We tried seafood noodles but the noodles and seafood were emerged in a chicken broth that create a very weird and awful taste . The dish was even bad to look at it (similar to vomit). We highly recommend to remove it from the menu for the sake of culinary basics. The service was good. The waiters were nice but communication wasn’t good , they couldn’t explain the food , ingredients maybe the language was a barrier bcz they couldn’t speak well english. Plus it is an expensive place. You rather go to take drink after dinner.

I like the decor and the atmosphere here. Drinks are generally good, with some nice house specials cocktails. The live bands are very good too and i enjoy visiting bars with good live music. The only bad experience I had was I went with a group of friends (who are travellers) and we had requested they split the bills as some of the friends do not have cash and wanted to pay with their cards and the server refused and asked that we split it ourselves. Other than that one time, all good.

Bad service, we came at 2am on weekend night yes i know youre tired but you should still be profesional if you want people to leave fast then say “we are closing , cannot order anymore” . You expect 2 people to drink 3 alcohol in 30 minutes? We pay hundreds you know ? Not rm30 …the waiter make annoyed face and didnt ask how the service was, straight away show receipt and walk away after took money. But i think only 1 waiter is problem , the another one is very good always serve us nicely.

Located on the rooftop of Bangsar Village 2, this place is not hard to find and a convenient meeting place for people in Klang Valley. Wednesday nights are Ladies Night where you get buy 1 free 1 on selected drinks. Service was good . Prices of drinks fair . Did not order any food since we just had dinner . The indoor sitting was a bit too loud for us as the was a dj playing . So we opted for the outdoor sitting by the veranda . Seating capacity flexible, suitable for small and large groups .

Had a great lunch at Mantra Rooftop Lounge in KL. The seafood was very tasty—especially the XL prawn, which was fresh and perfectly cooked. Highly recommend visiting Mantra for the excellent views and Tiramisu. We were in a large group and each paid as we ordered, avoid the need to try and split a large bill at the end or the evening.

We ordered the spiced fries and absolutely devoured them. The service is amazing with friendly, kind, efficient waiters. Above all, the views are great. We went at around sunset, and although the bar faces the east, we can still appreciate the changing colors of the sun and the cool breeze. To get here, come in through the main mall entrance and take the elevator near the "Pandora" jewelery store. Take the elevator straight up. I cannot recommend this place enough, a true gem!

We walked in without a reservation and were initially offered a standing space, but the team quickly found us seats at the bar once they became available. The service was warm and attentive — everyone seemed genuinely passionate about what they do. Special shout-out to Maria for her thoughtful recommendations and for walking us through the drinks menu. The cocktails were on the stronger side, but each had its own distinct character and flavour profile — we tried four, and every one of them was impressive in its own way. Overall, a wonderful experience with great hospitality and craftsmanship. Highly recommend sitting at the bar if you can!

Drinks are kind of pricey, but they definitely have great drinks! The flavours are a little cheeky with plays on mostly fruity/floral nodes which i love. There are some unique drinks options too Space is a little small, went early and managed to get standing tables. Would suggest to make a reservation if you do not want to miss this out!

Awesome cocktail outfit and am not surprised that they are Asia’s top 50. Probably one of the best cocktails I have ever had at Penrose KL. Very rich distinct taste and flavours brought together and enhanced with the likes of cocoa coated parsley stick and fermented leeks.

Really cool spot. We had tried to get reservations and they were booked out for weeks in advance but we bumped into someone at one of their sister bars who got us on the list. The menu is very well designed with a creative twist on classic cocktails. A real cool place for discovering new flavors. Grab a couple of cocktails and then move on.

One of the best cocktail bars in Asia, and it’s easy to see why it consistently tops so many reputable lists and awards. The drinks are outstanding, and the service is equally impeccable. Loud music but very less crowded on the day of visit, making the atmosphere awful. Waiter don't give a damn to pass us menu until we go look for them. Barrier glass are not clean to see through for beautiful night light of KL city. Not cool!

The view is simply amazing especially in the evening time when the sun isn't too hot and the evening lights from the other buildings start coming on. Very nice setting and has indoor and outdoor seating. The indoor seating is housed in a glass enclosure, so it's almost like sitting outside but with air conditioning. They are lots of different beers on tap and just sitting with friends and sipping on cold beer and enjoying the view is amazing. There are plenty of finger food. We tried the pizza , which was ok. Prices here are a bit steep, but the view and experience does make up for it. Staff is helpful and attentive.

Nice views. Relatively friendly staff but an odd drinks ordering system; waiters don't take your orders. You'll have to go to the cashier, order your drink and upon payment, you'll need to bring your receipt to the bartender to then get your drinks. Maybe it's meant to make it efficient but it's still fairly odd.

Bad service by the management, not sure how the reserve table system works there, it seems like the all the tables are all reserved by the management of the premise itself. even the Thai waiter can give a nice table outside with the city view to his group of friends. We were asked to move by the rude Thai waiter but without giving us any table. Please avoid going to this bar , they only give priority if you intend to spend more money.

Saturday night is a Gay Night called Divine Bliss. Expect top 40s Techno pop, muscle boys and a massive dancefloor. I give it a 4* because management still hasn't resolved the drink ordering system, which can be lengthy and slow. (Insider's tip: peak party hours are 12-2.30am, tho it stays open till ~3/4am depending on the crowd)

So we went here to enjoy a nice saturday evening. Sadly our waiter, with a bun, was not nice. After ordering our drinks (never order a carafe, its more expensive than 2 glasses), we immediatly get the bill shoved in our faces. The terrace had very loud aircons, the view is diappointing, the couch was uncomfortable and the waiter had a bun. Furthermore was the carafe, costing 85 ringgit, more ice than actual Gin Tonic which made the taste horrible. The laser light inside where bright enough to blind a blind person, luckily they're aimed directly at your face for the extra experience. Bun, 1 star, make sure to bring scissors.

Is a very exclusive club. Where by if you would like to ask whether they serve the food they ask you to queue then only they answer your question. If you dint made a reservation of a table they wont serve you chair Even the more than 15 chairs is not occupied. The best thing to reserve is you will get the the food once ypu reach. Caused the client which come rarloer will have to wait for more than 40 minutes. So if you would like spend money and feel like a vip. Just reserve a table and open few bottles. Have fun

Visited this place recently and I must say I found this building quite charming compared to other high towers. We went during twilight and could see the sound and light show as well. People were very well organised and there is a lot of place to sit around too. Loved the vibes of this place and could be amazing to spend the evening here.

Petronas twin towers, more commonly known as the twin towers, is one of the most iconic landmarks in the whole of Malaysia. This architectural masterpiece is truly stunning, mesmerizing, breath taking. It's extremely beautiful, and is massively tall. It almost feels like the top of the tower fades away into the sky. The twin towers used to be the tallest building in Malaysia, but the less known Merdeka 108 is actually taller. Regardless, no one can deny the twin towers beauty. It is the first place we visited after arriving in Malaysia, and we truly had a whale of a time here. I've never seen anything like this in any of rhe other places I've visited in the past. The inside of the twin towers is paid. But the Suria KLCC mall in the first few floors, in the base of the towers are free. We find visit there, the prices are a bit astronomical for my taste. However, for the wealthy travellers, almost every luxury/high end brand we couldn't afford is here! One interesting I must note is the toilets in the ground floor are 2RM (rather expensive) to use. But if you go to the second floor, (or first perhaps), the toilets are free. So save yourself and your family 2RM and go to the second floor and use the toilet for free. It's not that nice though, most other malls had nicer toilets. Regardless, toilets aside, this is truly one of the best views I've ever seen.

We already checked the price list in their website and are aware of what to expect to pay when we decide to dine-in. The portion is generous for the appetizers and dishes we tried over our 2 visits. They even serve a complimentary soup in an espresso cup, with a basket of bread and some butter. The taste is inconsistent: the seafood pasta can be excellent with less salt, while the chicken can be less dry. The French fries and gambas with olive oil, garlic and dry chili are very good. The old-fashioned cocktail contains too much orange flavor. The GlenAllachie 12 years is not bad, we still prefer the 15 years. The service is attentive and fast to deliver. They just need to be more careful to apply systematically the correct beer price during happy hour times.

A nice bar, with an unexpectedly rich offer in terms of whiskey. The bartender was a bit confused when I asked him if he had any locally produced whiskey, another one came to help, also not very knowledgeable. They gave me something with vague links to the area, but not locally produced (although one of them claimed that). Otherwise, I liked the bar. You can pay by card.

For every whiskey fan a must have. I enjoyed one of my favourite Scottish regions with 8 different Whiskeys. Service and presentation of products were perfect.

We had another great experience here! The staff – from the chef to the person in charge and the crew – were all very friendly and attentive. They made sure the food and setup were well taken care of, which made our event smooth and enjoyable. My team and bosses were very happy with both the food and the arrangements. The dishes were delicious and more than enough for everyone. This has been our go-to place whenever we have a close event, and they never disappoint. Oh Yea..nice view of the surrounding buildings with light too.

Beautiful View If you ever wonder what a million dollar view looks like, this bar has it. This place has both outdoor and indoor seating. While the indoor is nice, the table layout is a little wierd although the seats are comfortable. People only sit there to beat the heat. Most sit out in the open to take in the breathe taking view. Only draw back is at times it could be hot. On a cool day though, the outdoors would be amazing. So, the food and drink got a 3 star from me. Food is really a 4 star for the nice burger but the beer was so expensive. The fries were average. Most of the drinks are way overpriced but then that’s what you have to pay for the view. Service is good but staff sometimes are busy with other stuff. A call button on tables would be helpful. Overall worth one visit to soak in the amazing view. There are many other better bars around.

The view was amazing! The food was good. We ordered Calsberg 2 long island ice tea Nachos 6/10 Mac and Cheese 5/10 Chicken Wings 8/10 (I remember I ordered buffalo if im not mistaken but it was a dry rub chicken wings, anyway taste was good so its okay) The LIIT cocktail was not balanced, it was like they just poured the five spirits with a very less amount of the lemon juice and just top with coke, without shaking the ingredients. So it was really really strong! It taste more of the tequila taste (maybe because its cheaper from the rest of the spirit 😄😋) The place actually was really beautiful especially at night! The seats was just uncomfortable. Well there’s always a room for improvement. If they can do few refurbishment of their terrace and put more comfortable seats like sofa or couch would be really perfect. By the way, the service was fantastic! We were passing by and decided to pop into The Rabbit Hole for coffee and cake – and we’re so glad we did! There was a great selection of cakes to choose from, and the coffee hit the spot. We’re return customer. We ordered truffle carbonara with beef bacon, fried chicken chop with mushroom and fried calamari, 3 glasses of cocktails. Lucky enough, ice lemon tea was on the house. My husband loves their fried chicken with mushroom. The batter just nice, crispy and tender! We even tried their cocktails. Very freshing with the taste of gin & whisky. Service is good.

Nice view on the 51st floor of the Banyan tree hotel near Pavillion. The view is good of the KL towers and if you stay past sunset you’ll see them light up. Recommended to book in advance as you get a better table near the edge. We walked in on a Friday night just before opening and got a table. Free tables probably filled up an hour or so later. Drinks were pretty pricey being a rooftop bar in KL. The menu said that drinks were inclusive of taxes but then we got more added on at the end? All the male staff were very nice and attentive but the women seemed to not care at all, from when we first walked in to ask for a table. After 2 hours a female staff came over and asked if we wanted to order any more drinks. We said not right now then we saw her go and speak to another male waiter, he then brought over our bill I assume to try kick us out….

The rooftop is truly a one-of-a-kind spot, but only for the view. The spectacular view of the city is absolutely stunning and deserves five stars. ​However, the bar itself is quite anonymous and lacks atmosphere. Vertigo @ Banyan Tree – 3 Stars Stunning views, sky-high prices, and service that’s more patchy than panoramic. Vertigo delivers on the visuals—Petronas Towers in all their glory, perfect for the ‘Gram—but when it comes to food and service, it’s a steep drop. We paid five-star prices for two-star food and three-star service. At one point, I had to leave my seat to request napkins and additional drinks. The wine arrived five minutes before the sommelier did—perhaps it was trying to escape? Food-wise: Nachos with salsa, guacamole, jalapeños, and sour cream. Enough chips for a party of six, but only one person would find the toppings. The meat and cheese board? Hugely expensive and half untouched. A real shame. Verdict: Come for the view, stay for a cocktail, and take your appetite elsewhere.

Negroni review- Really disappointed with the cocktails here. My Negroni was poorly made — easily one of the worst I’ve had. For a place like this, I expected proper execution and balance. The old-fashioned fashion was also off — using regular ice? Instead of clear or shaved ice. Regular ice completely ruins the drink’s texture. Price isn’t the issue, but the quality definitely doesn’t match. Very disappointing experience. Will never come back again. The manager didn't really care much about the customer's feelings and pretended to walk around and ask if the drinks were okay just to do his job. He saw that the drink was off. But nothing is taking action further.

Me and my boy-friend spent the night there in August. We tried a lot of rooftops in Kuala Lumpur but this is definetly the best one. The waiters are the most gentle ones, the cocktails are delicious and the view…. Is just breathtaking, the best view of the city!

I really enjoyed the view, and it wasn’t busy when I visited, which made it relaxing. My waiter accidentally got my drink order wrong but quickly fixed it—still, the drinks weren’t very good for how pricey they were. It was nice that they included complimentary nuts and there was no entrance fee.

Great view, decent food but definitely needs improvement in service. They requested 1000 RM as a deposit for a pool side table with minimum 1000 RM spending. We ordered food and drinks but nobody came by to check up once. Empty plates and glasses remain on the table. Nobody came to clesn up or offer more drinks or food. Wife and I've been to many rooftop bars/restaurants but the service here was very disappointing to say the least. I had to get up from the table to flag down servers to order more items and towards the end I got tired and asked for the manager. Erlwin the GM came by and he was very friendly and apologized for the service and even offered drinks to make up for the lack of service they provided. We kindly refused and just told them to charge us the full 1000 RM since we were short of the minimum spending but he said it was not necessary and even offered a discount. We left gratuity for the server and left after paying $175 USD for the food and drinks for party of 2. After checking our AMEX account they charged us the deposit in the amount of $236.97 USD on top of the food we already paid for. Reached out to Erlwin for a resolution with no response. Very disappointing. Waste of time reaching out to AMEX to dispute the charges.

Delicious Food & Stunning Rooftop Vibes! WET Deck at W Kuala Lumpur truly impressed me with its stylish rooftop ambiance and breathtaking view of the Petronas Towers. The atmosphere is lively yet relaxing, with great music, comfortable seating, and a trendy crowd. I especially enjoyed their pizza and nachos, the pizza was flavorful, while the nachos were perfectly loaded and great for sharing. The food came out fresh and hot. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommended for a laid-back evening with good food and a stunning city view!

If you want to enjoy sun-downers with one of the best views KL has to offer, this is the place to be. As it gets darker, the more beautiful the place gets. Plan to get there early so that you an enjoy the transition in the lighting, making the views look different in the play of the shadows.

It all started quite bad with our drinks order getting lost in a black hole. But once Reo took care of us, he really rectified the wrongs and made us feel special with his kindness and professionalism. A Magical Birthday Evening at Wet Deck We celebrated my kid’s birthday at Wet Deck and it turned out to be one of the most memorable evenings we've had in Kuala Lumpur. The view alone is enough reason to visit — you're literally lounging on a cozy couch with the Petronas Towers glowing right in front of you. It’s breathtaking, especially at night. We ordered the Pizza and Fried Chicken Fritters, and both were top-notch. The food, the ambiance, and the skyline — everything just came together perfectly. Special mention to the exceptional service we received from Derek . He was kind, polite, and incredibly thoughtful. He not only suggested great dishes but also went the extra mile by helping us customize a cake with my child’s name — even decorating it beautifully. It didn’t stop there —as we requested he personally helped share the cake with the next table guests, adding such a warm and communal touch to our celebration. A heartfelt thanks also to Miss Shin Yee, who always had a smile on her face and made us feel genuinely welcomed. Both Derek and Shin Yee added that personal charm which turned a simple birthday dinner into something truly unforgettable. This place is more than just good food and a view — it’s about the people and the experience. Highly recommended — a must-visit in KL, especially during the night hours.

They’re quite disorganised when it comes to dinner arrangements (not that there were many dinner patrons). They should really think of improving the processes. Pre-bought dinner with show according to the website yet when arrived, told that the show was free and no reservations on the seats. So we’re supposed to eat and then jostle for space??? Odd. Dinner reservation list was not immediately available and they had to scamper around to find it. So happened that there was a power outage that day and they didn’t even have the courtesy to offer complimentary water to compensate for the stuffy evening.

Cool bar with jazz. They have live band almost every night. We were lucky, the band were really good. Cool environment. We had GT:s, not the best ones but definitely drinkable. I recommend you to go there if you like to have a smooth night.

I rally liked the atmosphere but the place is really cramped and chairs are uncomfortable to sit on a few hours ! Based on their website the performance was suppose to start at 9 but it only started at 10 PM! The sound system was not good for such a small place and we couldn't really hear what the singer was singing! We ordered the brownie with ice cream but it was basically a default chocolate bar!

Great bar, good ambiance and great selection of drinks. If you like jazz this is the place to go, fantastic bands playing weekly. I'm only giving it 4 stars because they have the most uncomfortable chairs in Malasyia and it makes it hard to sit for more than one hour.

Had an early dinner at JOLOKO, a vibrant Mexican restaurant tucked in KL. 🌵🌮 Loved the whole Mexican vibe — from the lively music to the lush greenery covering the entrance. As you walk in, the space opens up into a cozy dining area with a top-floor extension perfect for bigger groups. We tried the prawn tacos and lamb steak with rice — both absolutely packed with flavour. A great spot for good food and even better vibes. Will definitely return! 🌶️✨

Loved the vibrant vibes and bold flavors at JOLOKO! The dishes were beautifully presented — the shrimp tostadas were tangy and flavorful, the grilled chicken topped with mango salsa was juicy and well-balanced, and the fried broccoli bites were surprisingly addictive. Service was generally good, and the atmosphere was lively without being too loud. A solid spot for a fun night out with great food and cocktails. Would’ve been a perfect 5-star if the place can have A/C. Still, definitely worth a visit!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this Afro-Caribbean restaurant, and I must say it was a delightful culinary journey that brought the vibrant flavors of the Caribbean right to the table. From the very first bite, I could taste the authenticity and passion in every dish. The jerk chicken was tender, juicy, and bursting with that perfect balance of spice and smokiness, Every plate felt thoughtfully prepared, showcasing a deep understanding of Afro-Caribbean seasoning and culinary tradition. The ambiance was lively and filled with energy, though it did feel a little warm inside. Still, the vibrant music and cozy decor made the experience enjoyable. The staff were genuinely friendly and attentive, making sure our needs were met. A thoughtful touch was when they surprised me with a complimentary birthday photo — a small but meaningful gesture that truly elevated the experience. While the food prices are slightly on the higher side, I would say the quality, authenticity, and service justify the value. It’s not a place I’d visit often, but definitely worth it for special occasions or when craving a taste of the Caribbean soul. Recommended for those who love bold flavors, warm hospitality, and a cultural dining experience that feels both exotic and comforting.

The staff were amazing, we could watch the chefs create our dishes. We tried the prawn starter, large juicy prawns beautiful smoked and bathed in sauce, the tostadas. The crab in Tobago style curry was smooth sweet and crab loaded. Our steak was so tender, flavoured with the pickeled veg and the chicken succulent and perfect. Even our rice was perfect, we ordered way to much food. Our issue was that half the items on the menu were not available. Check ahead if you want something in particular. Bathroom was clean and creative

Loved all the food here we ordered today, nothing was below par. Great waiter who recommended these sharing platters (all you see is vegetarian here). Walnut hummus with pomegranate molasses & the jollof rice were super duper good and flavourful!! The ropa tosatadas had a mushroom filling in it - absolutely amazing.

Wonderful food and attentive service. We loved the menu options and enjoyed a number of the cocktails too! Highly recommended if you’re looking for something a bit different, with that fantastic AfroCaribbean touch - tropical flavours with spices and citrus/herbs. We had the prawn tostados, goat ribs, beef tongue, stingray, okra, and jerk chicken. There is a children’s menu available, and our two kids also ate additional dishes from the main menu.

If you're looking for great food, drinks and great night out this is definitely the place to go to! I thought i had great afro-caribbean food before but the flavours I tasted here was just insane! I didn't expect to find a gem like this in KL, Malaysia of all places! Would highly recommend it!

One of the great restaurant and bar, located at sky deck of First Avenue building at Bandar Utama. They serve delicious Spanish, Italian, etc food here. Food portion quite reasonable. Price slightly higher side but still reasonable. Grand interior design with the famous pink tree located at the middle of the place, which is very instagraphic. The place was also nicely decorated. You can have a nice view of PJ town here. The place mainly is indoor, so the place is air-conditioned. The staffs were friendly and helpful. They even have live band with great sound system. They even provide special arrangements with additional charges of RM100 for balloons, flowers, and candle arrangements. Update : Closed in February 2024.

A perfect spot for dinner! 🍽️ The ambience is lovely.. Warm, inviting and just right for a relaxing evening.. The food is delicious and the atmosphere makes the whole experience even better.. My fav here is Carbonara Spaghetti 🤌🏻.. Highly recommend for a cozy and memorable meal! A perfect choice for a dinner date 😉

Nice decor, great view and nice food. They offer a variety of tapas, I like the duck rolls and spicy potatos. I had spicy seafood pasta, its good. There is a pink tree as the centre piece for insta moment. You also get a lovely view of PJ town. Live band starts 8.30pm, I went on a friday night. Not sure if live band is available on other nights. Their sound system is surprisingly good. Eventhough it was a two piece band, I enjoyed their performance. The duo perform our song requests and kept us entertained all night. For special occasions, there is an option of table decor with flowers, balloons, and candles but it cost RM100 additional. Service - room for improvement. The servers are friendly but don't come around to check if we need anything else. Water served only upon our request and there was no offer for second helping. Once glass of water each, that's all. We found ourselves having to walk to them to get their attention.

If you like atmosphere, I'd recommend this place. Good food too. I had the salmon main and that's half a fish right there. The mashed potato under the salmon was surprisingly so good. You gotta wait for some time for the food though, and you gotta wait for the waiters too because for some reason they're not quite aware of the customers' needs (like water after a long time of just wine). But that's okay if you're not in a rush and just wanna chill. If you're vegetarian you can ask them to change the meat part in the food to vegetables and they'd do it for you so I think that's very friendly. Overall I had a good experience, thank you!

I was here 3 years ago and had a very good experience. Recently, I was here again for another special celebration. Prices have expectedly increased significantly but what was unexpected is that the food quality has dropped. I ordered the same thing that I did previously, chicken Cordon Bleu. While it still came with the chicken and a side of mash potatoes, the dish looked different. I wasn't sure when the food arrived but when I checked my old photos, it was definitely different. It used to have a nice side of grilled vegetables that included zucchini but now it came with a few pieces of broccoli that were unevenly cooked. The chicken also tasted a little too dry this time. My wife's fish and chips looked very average, no different from most "Western food" outlets. The tartare sauce was just plain mayonnaise with barely a hint of lemon juice. No pickles or dill or any herbs. The only saving grace is that the views are still magnificent. Come here a little early for dinner and you get to watch the city go from dusk to night and light up.

The place are nice and cozy. Food are good but not enough variety.Not much to choose from.The services are good especially the ladies serving my table.(forget to ask her name ).Many variety of wine 🍷 to choose for the wine lover .

Customer services was superb ! Despite they were busy but I like the teamwork among them, they were not calculative on who's in charge of this table. Butter mushroom tapas 3/5 Spicy tomato pasta 5/5 Lychee mojito 5/5 Chocolate martini 4/5 Cheese platters 3-4/5 Live band started around 8-8.30pm, the singers had good voice and choices of songs. Generally not crowded, not too noisy. Just nice for a relaxing dinner with some drinks.

Quite a good range of international craft beers. NZ, US, Aus, China, Belgium, Canada and more. Was very quiet when I went in for takeaways during the day. Staff member didn't know much about his products, but that's okay. Prices were about double what I would pay in Australia, but that's what happens in a Muslim country I guess. A little bit hard to find. I entered through the back of a small supermarket. I paid RM240 for 4 of their cheaper/mid range options. Expensive, but I enjoyed having something quality to drink. I have not seen a better range in KL. The Apple Lambic from Lindemans was exceptional.

The place is not the prettiest and getting there is weird because it is inside a shopping mall past two fast food places. But it's worth it, an incredible amount of fridges and high quality beers in them. If you don't find the beer you are looking for, you won't find it in Malaysia.

Small beer shop offering extensive craft beer collection located at the back of the supermarket most probably one of the most complete around. Price were reasonable but not cheap likely due to our tax system.

Unfortunately, baldy maintained tables, my Shirt Got damaged and cut. Overall a bit shitty. Beer availability is medium and very very expensive. I would have expected more speciality.

A delightful surprise during a recent trip to Kuala Lumpur. A haven for beer lovers with a wide selection of craft beers. I find it totally satisfying being an IPA lover. A place to relax and chill after some walking.

Came to this place before the covid pandemic. Notice lesser customers and lesser beer type selections. However, it is a good place to try different kind of beers from various countries. By the way, no finger food is available except fried potatoes. If you come before 10pm, you can buy chips from the mini market in front.

RnB music, quality cocktails, 2 floors, 3 DJs playing that night. Friday/Saturday night is packed for sure. If you want quieter nights, better pop by non peak hours. Plenty of parking space if you come before 11pm.

Drinks deserve additional star. This bartender seems cheerful. We went slightly earlier around 2130 and the bartender can still entertain us and chit chat. He did inform that the crowd will come in around 2230-2300. There were smokers everywhere and they cranked up the music. 3 star because I didn’t like that they allowed people to smoke and vape indoors. Generally, didn’t like the atmosphere. Located at Damansara. Parking is easy. You will be amazed when you step inside. The atmosphere is totally different from the outside. The drinks inside the good, not very pricy. And they have a lot of special cocktail on the menu. Good vibes. Great place to have a party here

We like this place. The music (largely 2000s hip hop iirc) was awesome! So great to go somewhere with good cocktails and without pop music. Really gets going on Saturday nights. Recommend making reservations for earlier in the evening. Looked to be standing room after 10+

It's another hidden bar. It's a very dark bar tbh cause it was so dark even it was bright outside (I arrive early) . Drinks is alright to me many with egg Whites which I like. It turns into club like at night

Hidden speakeasy bar with 1920s Shanghai decor. Love the camouflaged entrance. Happy hour from 5pm - 9pm for 3 cocktails priced at Rm50 ( normal price at Rm20 each). Personal favourite is the Pandan Slapper.

This place has nice ambience and hidden bar . I quite like the decoration and the theme . This is a very relaxing place to hang out with your close friends .

This speakeasy bar transports patrons to the oriental 1920s🏮 If you don't fancy the cocktails in the menu, simply ask the bartenders to craft you a drink with all your favourites. Prices range between average to expensive depending on what you select.

Charming 'hidden' bar (46b, up on the second floor), worth a visit if you like sweet cocktails. Both of us didn't enjoy our drinks, though, too sweet for our tastes, and that was after trying to select something not obviously sugary from the list of speciality cocktails, which was a struggle in the first place. Music was a bit strange, a lot of 90s Brit pop and the like.

Quaint bar in the bustling neighbourhood of Taman Tun. Balcony area and the details of the decor are lovely, waxed parasols and all ! If you have trouble locating the bar, get back out on the street and look one floor up for the birdcages!

I truly enjoyed my time at this place, especially exploring their well crafted menu. You can really sense the thoughtfulness and attention to detail that goes into each cocktail. The staff were another highlight of the visit. Friendly, welcoming and clearly passionate about what they do. They took the time to walk me through their concept and explain the inspiration behind some of their signature creations. That extra effort made the experience feel even more personal and engaging. Overall, it’s a spot that showcases genuine craftsmanship and hospitality, definitely a must visit for anyone who appreciates quality cocktails and a well curated drinking experience.

Interesting Menu, really like the thoughts of the menu design. Drinks was interesting and believe this is also up to individual preferences. Food was smell good from next table but we didn’t order any. Maybe next time. Vibes overall was pretty chill and moody, recommend for hanging with friends or a date night. Service was great!

A very stylish and cozy bar in PJ, not expected to find something like this entering from the street. Had a good introduction to their bar menu, very nice presentation. Had an earth drink that tasted very good. Will definitely come back here again!

Love their cocktails! Their snacks are good as well. Brought my colleagues there for few occasions, all giving thumbs up. They have a very combination of their cocktails. I'm sure I will be back there again to try their director's edition.

Loved the atmosphere! Although it’s a sky lounge, you can’t really see the sky lol. Everything else was nice, the price was reasonable, and we really enjoyed our gathering with 14 people. We went on Thursday, which was Ladies Night, one free cocktail for each lady. The cocktail was surprisingly impressive. A great choice for group gatherings and with reasonable price in KL

This is the worst place to go for lunch in KL Sentral. Initially I was shocked it was empty. But after seating then I realise why it was empty. Only menu available is set lunch.... If you want anything else there's nothing available. Set lunch there was a soup of the day + main dish consisting of some chicken chop and pasta plus free flow of premade cordials drink. When I asked what soup do you have? Server said "clear soup" which sounds more like a chicken broth for me.... There are 2 servers and both don't understand English. When I asked to call the chef, the 2 servers talked to each other, that's when we decided to leave.... I will NEVER return again

I wanted a place as a single woman to chill and have a few cocktails which were great. Staff (one of the staff didn't know what salt and pepper was when he realised what I was talking about the penny dropped). I think this is a cool place for a quick drink. The foods average - manager had to remix my cocktail as the trainee tried but failed.

It was my first visit to this place and I must say, the ambiance was indeed pleasant. It's a good location to enjoy the evening with friends or family for drinks and just indulge in conversation. We tried the chilli beef fries and the mixed grill platter. The portions were rather generous and prices are reasonable. Friendly and welcoming staff; will come by for another visit in due time. :)

===18/04/2024 lunch=== The lunch set is affordable and tastes good. The roast beef sandwich is to my liking, definitely will return again. The lunch set comes with a free flow of soup, cordial, coffee, and tea.

Located on the 6th floor roof garden. Service was fast. Food was surprisingly good esp the curry noodles but the chicken rendang is not thoroughly cooked. The barossa red wine was also not fantastic considering it’s not cheap. The flashing lights gave us headaches. Management should consider switching that off.

Located at rooftop of Nu Sentral, perfect place to have casual chat/chill out with bunch of mates and grab a shot or two. Snack wise, surprisingly better than expected, BBQ chicken wings and mix grill platter (suitable for two pax) are the one increased my appetite, fair portions and value price. Not to mention the service here is outstanding, attentive and friendly, plus there's actually band instruments, who knows it might have mystery guest to enhance the atmosphere. A random trivia, this place and Havana (right opposite) shared the same owner, don't be shock when same attendants show up in two spots serving you.
