Commonwealth Brewing Co is a family-owned brewery housed in a historic fire and rescue station, offering a warm and inviting atmosphere since 2015. The brewery features a taproom and beer garden serving wood-fired Neapolitan-style pizzas, making it an ideal spot for a laid-back evening with friends or family. Known for its mindful craft beer selection and relaxed beach vibes, Commonwealth Brewing Co is popular among beer enthusiasts and beachgoers alike.
Stangebier Dirty Monkey Oktoberfest Josephine Peanut butter and Jealous Beers I drank, only two were full pours, others were tasters. A lunch stop, day drinking yup, cool place. There’s outside seating, two rooms of inside seating and a huge brewery in and around the drinking room. Crazy amount of beer production. Every Tuesday a new release. The menu board is two chalk boards, quite the array, from stouts, stopping at gose and hitting a lager. It’s a full menu, my vision is a bit hazy, but it’s on there. The staff was great to chat with, a couple of samples were quaffed. That’s fun stuff right there. That PB&J, how’d they do that??? The dirty monkey, oh yea, a rich stout. The food, yup. Also good. Wraps, fries, BIG pretzel. Perfect. I’ve been to brewery’s all over the country, several in the Va Beach area, this is tops. Easily. I think they should plan a brewery in St Augustine Fla, it’d kill.

The location is great and easy to get to, with ample parking available. It’s also extremely dog-friendly, which is what initially drew us in. It was nice to see other dogs around. The building and setting is clean, seating was readily available, and the whole place has a great feel, at least from the decor. Unfortunately, the staff weren’t very friendly or helpful. As first-time customers, we weren’t sure how the ordering and food/beverage system worked, and when we asked for clarification, the staff seemed annoyed or offended. We stopped asking questions and ended up taking our food to go, tipping 20% in advance for someone to bring our food out and nothing else. The food itself was decent. The hot chicken sandwich tasted a bit burnt, but the pizza was tasty. However, the prices felt a bit high for the quality. Based on our experience, we’re not likely to return, but others seemed to be enjoying themselves—maybe it's an acquired taste.
R R — Google review
First time coming to the brewery. I don’t drink but I did take a sip of my friend’s beer and it was actually so good. That’s why I don’t drink… anyway we got the Diavolo and the Bianca and fries. Wowww such good pizza. Well made. The fries were seasoned so good too. The pizza with the hot honey was awesome. I really enjoyed everything. The vibe in there is really cool and they are chill so there are so many dogs. Lots of seating outside if you aren’t too cold. It is a little too loud in there and they had live music which made it so much louder but still cool. The drink line seemed to be really long and if you aren’t with someone who has been there before you probably wouldn’t know that the QR code on the table is for ordering food. That could be hard to know. And no one seats you or anything it’s just first come first serve with seating and they are just very big picnic tables. Nothing really bad to say but just confusing if you have never been before Also parking is kind of tight.

Craft brewing and the brewery scene has got pretty boring and played out across the country in the last decade, but that said, there are bastion's of hope in my opinion in the brewing game, and Commonwealth is now firmly at the top of my list of breweries doing it better across the board then most, and I for one cannot wait to come back!!!
Seth G — Google review
Commonwealth Brewery in Virginia Beach nails the blend of craft, community, and cool vibes. Tucked away in a sleek, industrial-chic space with soaring ceilings and eclectic decor, it’s the type of place you immediately feel part of—whether you’re a local or just passing through. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance, bustling without ever feeling chaotic. The beer lineup here? Pure artistry. Commonwealth Brewery serves up a stellar range of craft brews, from smooth IPAs to rich stouts, along with some truly creative seasonal and specialty releases. Don’t miss out on their barrel-aged offerings or limited-edition pours—they push the envelope in all the right ways. If you’re coming in during peak hours, though, just know there’s a bit of a wait for food; it can stretch up to an hour when the place is packed. But it’s hardly a drawback—grab a pint, take in the vibe, and let the anticipation build. Their food menu pairs perfectly with the beer, featuring everything from hearty mains to shareable bites that complement the brews. Commonwealth Brewery combines everything you want in a craft brewery: atmosphere, flavor, and originality. Come ready to relax and enjoy, because you’ll want to stay awhile.
Jannick K — Google review
Commonwealth was a great spot to stop and grab a bite to eat and try one of the many beverages they have on tap. I tried out a bunch of the IPAs and a couple of the sours they had available. All were great. We ordered pizza and salads. All of which were pretty darn good for brewery food. The service was great and friendly as well. We had no issues bringing our little one there as there is plenty of space and WiFi available. I would definitely return to this spot to hang out again. (4.5 if I could but I’m gonna round up)
Justin K — Google review
Always fantastic beer and delicious food. LOVE the IPA selection. Also great service. I was having a rough day last weekend and ran by commonwealth to pick up food for the wife and I after being discharged from the hospital. Had to wait a few minutes for the food and the bartender gave me a beer on the house while I waited since I left my wallet in the car. Made my day!

I am visiting in the erea under not the greatest circumstances. I needed some much needed time away to relax and rejuvenate my mind and body. Commonwealth Brewing Co, Was the perfect spot for that!!! The service was impeccable! The drinks, food and the love and compassion I received from the young women "Chicago" native. (Sorry I can't remember her name) 😔 Definitely TOP NOTCH!!! She MORE THAN DESERVES A RAISE! I WILL BE BACK! Until then, Keep doing what you do! 5 🌟 👏

Located in the ViBe Creative District of Virginia Beach, Vibrant Shore Brewing Company embodies the artistic and sustainable spirit of its neighborhood. The brewery offers a diverse selection of microbrews made with locally-sourced ingredients and operates with a focus on nature-friendly brewing practices. Its taproom serves as both an art venue and a platform for local musicians to showcase their talent. In addition to its year-round interior space, Vibrant Shore features a hidden rooftop beer garden for patrons to enjoy when weather permits.
Location, awesome. Staff, great. Beer, delicious. What more could you ask for? My wife and I stopped in while visiting Virginia Beach and had a great visit. We opted for a flight so we could try a few things at once and really enjoyed their Cherry ale. My wife also ordered the root beer which she is still talking about days later, it was that good. We would put Vibrant Shore at the top of our list of places to revisit next time we find ourselves in Virginia Beach!

Great brewery in Virginia Beach with nice indoor/outdoor space and an easy walk from the oceanfront. On the night I visited, they were hosting an open mic night in the front courtyard, so it was a lively scene with plenty of locals. For food that night, they had a stand out front cooking up different types of sliders. The beers were all solid. My favorites were the Tropical Torpor- a New England Hazy IPA with some tropical notes, and the Imperial Maren. The staff was friendly and the place was clean. I'll definitely come back when it's warmer to check out the back deck biergarden.

Vibrant Shore is one of my favorite breweries in Virginia Beach. Not just for the beer which is awesome but for the staff who are always fun and engaging! Make sure you pay them a visit.
Christian S — Google review
Great tasting beer served here! They have a large selection of beer, friendly and knowledgeable bartenders (that are super cute too😊), and a food truck outside. The brewer/owner was on site when I was there and he was keeping things running smoothly. They have an upstairs seating area and a nice setup outside. I recommend stopping here for a few beers anytime.
Preston B — Google review
We pretty much go to Vibrant Shore every weekend and have for the past 2 years, even throughout my pregnancy we’d go and I’d get food from the food truck and my husband would get a beer. We even went a few weeks after having our son so I could finally enjoy a beer. We’re pretty loyal to this place. I will preface my negativity with the fact that there are almost ALWAYS parents with young children when we go- the past 3 times we went my baby interacted with other babies. What upset me was the lack of any accommodations for parents. My son is old enough to sit up now so I asked if they had high chairs and they did not, no big deal. After getting food and a few drinks we needed to change my son, to my shock there we changing table in either bathroom. We had to use our changing pad and change him on the floor in the restroom as we rode our bikes. Aslin, Esoteric, and all the other places around us have been more than accommodating for us to bring our 6 month old and still have a great time. As much as we love VS we basically cant bring our baby so we have to choose the options where we can.
Darcey B — Google review
A secluded, can that be possible in VB?, bar with both indoor and outdoor seating. Excellent selection of beers. All its missing is a food truck.
Andy B — Google review
$10 flights, great tasting beer, they have snacks, and also a food truck. Very little parking next to the brewery, but they offer additional parking a couple blocks away. Two levels of seating inside, patio seating, and great service. I would definitely come back again!
Derek C — Google review
Beer is good and staff is super friendly. I came right at open (noon) and chatted up the brewer. He was super down to earth and it was refreshing talking about beer with someone who actually knows it and not just a bartender who serves it but doesn’t have the in depth knowledge.

New Realm Brewing Co. is a popular and modern brewery located in Virginia Beach, known for its wide range of craft brews on tap and American eats. The brewery is housed in the former Chesapeake Beach Volunteer Fire and Rescue Station, which was believed to be haunted by the ghost of Benjamin Bishop, adding an intriguing backstory to the location.
This place was hopping for a mid-Friday afternoon! For other beer enthusiasts, it reminded us of a brewery on the size scale of Dogfish Head/Troegs/Sierra Nevada. A huge list of beer offerings was on the wall, we couldn’t decide so we opted for a flight of 6. Everything we had was good and we grabbed a 4pk to bring home. We didn’t eat there, but the food being ran past us from the kitchen looked good. If we lived nearby, this would be a place to take visiting friends & family to wow with the size of the facility!
Jared F — Google review
Looks like a cool place, with great selection of beer, outdoor seating, and live music opportunities! I have wanted to sample beer and eat here for almost a year!! Stopped by for lunch 10/11/24, told to take a seat anywhere (implies table service). A large group came in behind us and went straight to the bar to order. Went back to front of house staff person and asked about table service. She said, "no - you have to order at the bar." Overall Rating is a 3 based on first impression of poor customer service training by management. Simply have your front of house staff ask patrons, "have you been here before?" If they answer "no," explain to them to sit wherever they like AFTER ordering at the bar. If they say, "yes" thank them for their return visit! Will give it another go at a later date and update this review after trying the food and beer.

I've been to new realm brewery on a few different occasions, I usually go when they have concerts they have a wonderful outside area it's open wide and it's very spacious and they have some sick bands play there from time to time! Last night I saw Badfish which is a tribute to the band sublime and they played with a little stranger those guys rock too. They have a enormous brewing facility on site and they have very good food. I've eaten there every time I've attended a concert and I always try to get something different because everything's been so good. When I'm attending the concert the staff is very nice and very accommodating as well as the patrons it always draws a very good crowd of people and it's just always very fun ,very uncomplicated evening. Put that on your to do list. Hopefully you'll get to enjoy a concert that you like while you're there.

It was a pleasant experience. I did go when it was a bit chilly out, during the daytime. I would definitely recommend going at night based on the photos I’ve seen my family post. I would like to visit again during the night & sit by the cozy fireplaces. If you’re not a beer drinker, there are limited seltzer options.. when I went, there was one. (Blueberry açaí)… they also have malt “cocktail” beverages if that suits your fancy. ☺️
Bray C — Google review
The Asian style loaded fries are sooo good! We also really enjoyed our drinks, the old fashion, and the cherry-limeade draft cocktail!
Trista S — Google review
Everything was pretty spot-on today! Spicy crispy chicken sandwich was bomb. Fries on the side were crispy, fresh, and delicious. The beer was great. The service was fast. The server was friendly. Only thing was, the bacon in the Cobb salad was on the chewy side, the expectation being that it would be crunchy. We'll definitely return!
A D — Google review
This place was a pleasant unexpected surprise... we stopped there Friday night when we got into town just to grab a few beers and something to eat... there was an awesome band playing... the atmosphere was popping... we loved it! The food was delicious... fresh and hot... not a long wait at all considering how busy it was. The beers are delightful... light and crisp!! Loved it there!
Jordan B — Google review
Me and my friends had such a great experience! The vibe of the place is amazing, unlike any brewery I’ve ever been to. It's so open and spacious, with a huge front area that’s perfect for hanging out. Pups are welcome, which is always a plus. There are fire pits and picnic tables, and you can enjoy games like corn hole. They offer both outdoor and indoor seating options. The food was incredible. My husband got the wings and I had the Asian-style fries (loaded🔥). One of my friends ordered a turkey sandwich with sweet potato fries, which were amazing. Another friend got a burger and a cheese pizza for his kid. All of it was delicious and no one had any complaints(all 8 of us). All the food comes in to go boxes for take home if you don’t want to finish it all. I had their Lime sour beer which was so good. Prices are a little bit high but my opinion it’s justified for the experience. We will definitely be back. One tip: I’d recommend bringing bug spray if you plan to sit outdoors.

Pleasure House Brewing is a great place to come and hang out with friends. They have a variety of beers on tap and they are always up for a game of darts or foosball. If you're looking for a chill spot to take in some good beer, Pleasure House Brewing is definitely the perfect place!
I just stopped by to check this place out. It wasn’t busy in the early afternoon and I really wanted to investigate the meaning behind the name of the establishment and of the road. Turns out there used to be a real Pleasure House back in the day at the end of Pleasure House Road. It crosses Lookout Rd where a lookout would ring a bell if the police were seen coming. Fun history! The beer is good and there is a large shaded back patio with a second bar open late afternoon and evening. They also have food trucks. Looks like a great place to hang out with friends!
Preston B — Google review
Tasty beer selection with a "feels like home" service. If you have not had an opportunity to visit Pleasure House Brewing make sure you add it to your "to do" list. You can thank me later!
Jim L — Google review
Great beertenders, and awesome appearance of Derpy Dogs food truck! Check out the back patio in the summer! Great vibes, great beer and seltzers!
Christina J — Google review
The beers better be damn good to make up for the service. The ambiance is ‘strip-mall chic’ and the single bartender couldn’t be bothered- too busy to take a second to talk about the beers for new customers. When ordering a flight, the bartender’s ’just give me the numbers, HON’ was both off-putting and sexist. Available beers were on the screen only, without any kind of written list or description. While flights are available, there’s no opportunity to write out what you want. Instead, he’ll impatiently stand in front of you while waiting to scribble them on the flight board. Cute flight boards of 3 or 5 selections play on the pleasure “house” theme. Thank you sir, but I WON’T have another. Instead, I’ll take my time, and my dollar, to an establishment that values me as a customer. Peace-out Pleasure (adjacent) House. More pleasure is found elsewhere...
Christy T — Google review
We really liked this place. Great atmosphere, accommodating space and interesting staff only add to the very solid beer lineup. Nice selection across the board, not just mired in the midsummer IPA push. Definitely worth the stop if you're in the area. 7.3/10
Shawn P — Google review
We stopped in here to try it out. The service was poor. We asked for a couple of samples and after trying them, the bartender never came back. It wasn’t even busy. The beers we tried were horrible and we aren’t sure if they have any good ones. It is unlikely we will be back.
Andrea — Google review
DOG FRIENDLY!! Game themes almost every night and super food trucks! Love the gas fireplaces and the inside was very clean. There was front indoor and outdoor seating as well. A small dart room was provided inside near the bar too. There's a very cool viewing area that overlooks the outdoor seating area with an outdoor bar to order from. It could use extra parking but great area for the location!

Beer is good.. but They have a beautiful sand shuffle board and the last 10 times that I've been there in 6 months. They have not had the sand. When you go to a brewery, you like to be able to do things while drinking beer. Why have such a beautiful sand shuffleboard and not to be able to have sand. Sand is not that expensive. I have a board at home and sand can come the next day. Amazon.

Smartmouth Brewing Pilot House is a popular spot located just a block away from the Oceanfront boardwalk. Housed in a former post office, this brewery offers a unique experience with its outdoor space converted from the old loading dock. Visitors can enjoy food trucks and bring their dogs while savoring the nostalgic Saturday Morning IPA with Marshmallows. The brewery also offers tours for an inside look at their brewing process and hosts various events.
We arrived at Smartmouth during a busy Friday evening, there was a decent size line at the bar but it moved quickly. The girl and guy behind the bar were super friendly and quick to serve the patrons. Half of the bar seemed to be closed off for a private event, maybe that’s why the other half seemed a bit more hectic but we had a great experience anyway. A large taplist of beer for on site and a good amount of beer & merch to go. It’s easy to see why so many people recommended Smartmouth to us when they heard we were staying in Virginia Beach!

Surprisingly quiet the Thursday before Memorial Day weekend. Excellent selection of beers and pizzas 🍕. They have a pizza oven onsite. Nice North facing deck.

Came here for their Dog Days of Summer event and we had a great time. The staff was very sweet to our dogs. They had a little doggy pool to let the pups cool off from the heat. We got to spin a wheel for the chance to win free things for our dogs. We got two free pup cups. Good vibes all around. All of the staff was very friendly. Lots of seating options. Plenty of beer to choose from; I’m not a huge fan of beer but was able to find something I liked. The pizza was decent. Nothing special, but not the worst I’ve ever had. I got The Hive. Great place to hang out, especially when they have live music. The board game selection was lack luster and a lot of things were missing from them. But it’s a brewery, not a game bar. Highly recommend bringing your own games if you’re into that.

Smartmouth is the absolute best place for a craft beer (and Cider/Wine) at the Ocean Front. Staff are great. Locals and Tourists are all welcome here. Cheers!!!

Spacious Virginia Beach brewery with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. They also have an on-site pizza kitchen to get your munchy fix. The beers were pretty solid. The hazy IPAs like the Silent L and the Savage Mondo were very good. My favorite was the Tiny Changes Apricot saison. Lots of parking out front, definitely make it a stop if you are in the Va Beach area.

The Bunker Brewpub, formerly known as Young Veterans Brewing Company, started in 2013 with a focus on crafting over 60 varieties of beer. As the brewery evolved, it transformed into a family-friendly restaurant offering a menu featuring southern coastal cuisine and seafood. The establishment also boasts a vibrant music scene and pays homage to Virginia Beach's rich history and community spirit.

Prompt service at the bar for food and drinks....flight of 4 local beers gave a good sample and our meals were great too! We will return on our next VB trip for sure. Have to say the Tuna Tacos with the Stout beer was a winner for me.

Tried this restaurant on a whim and was absolutely surprised. Staff was spectacular (professional, attentive and provided great suggestions). Ordered up the following: -Two seperate flights of beer -Drunken mussels -Cajun Shrimp egg rolls w/ rice & beans -She Crab Soup -Seafood Pasta All were served hot, presentation was great and each were deliciously prepared with great flavors. I would highly recommend this location and look forward to returning to try additional menu options! 5*****

Stumbled upon in the off season and what a gem. Trivia was rolling, the bar was packed and the bartender was awesome. Ordered blackened tuna tacos- and have NEVER gotten large chunks of tuna like I did tonight. The elote salad? Unmatched. When the kids can enjoy great options and the adults have fresh seafood, burgers, chicken and BEER- I need nothing else. This is definitely added to my list when I return to VAB.

The drinks were good, the food was delicious, and everyone was really nice! I had the guava cider and blackened fish tacos with street corn pasta salad and my husband had the hot chicken sandwich with fries, we loved all of it! The kids had Mac n cheese and a cheese pizza and devoured it all. We would come back and highly recommend!

Attended an after hours special event at the Bunker. She-crab soup was delicious. Pasta was good. Chicken and waffles were really good. Enjoyed the pineapple grenade on draft! Great draft beer selection. Loved the military atmosphere. Staff was friendly and hard working. Hope to go back when in VA Beach!

Visited on Saturday around 8-9pm. It was pretty relaxed and had a nice relaxed atmosphere. I like the decor. Drinks: The bar is said to be a full bar but lacks many things for most drinks. Pretty much have to ask the bartender what she can make with her selection (unless you want something really simple like a Jack and Coke). Food: The advertised chicken sandwich is amazing! So tasty. The Quinoa Salad was new to me. Never had Quinoa before and probably will avoid it in the future but it was still pretty good. I just prefer my salads to have more lettuce. Service: We sat at the bar so it is what it is. Not bad.

Fantastic restaurant and music venue. I have been here a couple of times just to eat. The food is amazing and cooked perfectly each time. We had their Hot VB Chicken sandwich, wings, oysters, and Kicking Shrimp tacos. Everybody at the table enjoyed each item. Waffle fries are an added bonus! Great beer menu, none of them disappoint. This is not your typical oceanfront tourist trap. Delicious food, good atmosphere, and great staff.

I ordered the Bunker Burger, EXCELLENT. I ate the whole thing. My friend got a sandwich and said it was fantastic as well. Tart MOFO was a very smooth sour. I would definitely eat here again and recommend to others ✨

Wasserhund Brewing Company, situated in the Hilltop area of Virginia Beach, draws inspiration from the lively beer gardens of Germany. The brewery aims to bring that same vibrant atmosphere to its community. It's a family-friendly and dog-loving establishment with a creative approach to crafting beer and food.
My co-workers and I went for lunch Saturday to catch up, enjoy awesome food and cozy beverages, this place did not disappoint! From there, absolutely excellent food to the charismatic atmosphere, we had an excellent experience. The service was top notch, the owner goes above and beyond and the several different appetizers were mouth-watering! Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The trendy and fun atmosphere makes me definitely want to come back for another experience, as well as try more options on their menu. The establishment was very clean and very welcoming. Good Job guys!! If you are in the area , you should check them out!!

Not a beer drinker? Not a problem because Wasserhund is serving up some GOOD food!!! The specialty soup today was TUSCAN BEAN & SAUSAGE... OMG just get a bowl!! 🤩 it's good! The Beer Bratwurst with their made from scratch beer bratwurst; served on a bratwurst bun with sauerkraut and beer mustard was DELICIOUS! The Small Burly Bulldog with House Red Sauce topped with House Blend Cheese, Pepperoni, Italian Sausage, Bacon and cubed Ham on a soft, buttery crust was amazing dipped in their smooth ranch dressing -- NO PIZZA BONES leftover from this pizza!!! 😋😂 JAMES was very pleasant & made this 1st visit so enjoyable! Can't wait to return!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Great food and service, and awesome Tuesday night trivia! House cocktails are all incredible, a little light and sweet, but well-balanced and delicious - the frozen espresso martini, azalea lemonade, and mint julep are all fantastic must tries if you're into those drinks or cocktails in general. Dog Park app is a great sampler, everything rocks, especially the stromboli! House salad is very nice, and can't go wrong with Quattro Formaggio Pizza special or Cookies and Cream Dessert Pizza.

Me and a decent group of my girlfriends (five of us total) came here for a football Sunday game and had the absolute best time. The staff were more than gracious, welcome, and accommodating and our server/bartender Eric was the absolute bomb. Their appetizers and pizza were so delicious, the vibes were so fun and friendly, and the drinks were yummy. I highly recommend you stop by to wind down after a long work day or just to vibe with some friends ❤️

Absolutely delicious! The pizzas were so good and cheesy and fluffy. The chicken tenders were huge and very good with the honey mustard-type sauce. Reasonably priced, as well. Only suggestion is please add a kids option for chicken tenders in a smaller portion at a kids meal price. We will definitely be back!

Our first time at this Brewery and it did not disappoint! I tried a mimosa flight, fried pickles and the hot and honey chicken sandwich with some beer cheese fries. The food was great and the service was even better! We will return! Do not hesitate to drop in!

Great food and service but the beer isn’t great. Average at best and pretty pricy. Pretzel was good but $15!
Mike M — Google review
A First and Probably Last Visit It wasn’t the food that did it. Mediocre food I can forgive...hell, I’ve had gas station sushi that hit the spot better than most restaurants. No, this was about something deeper. Something that sticks to you like the grease on an overworked kitchen rag. We sat ourselves, as the sign commanded. Tables looked like they’d been half heartedly wiped down with yesterday’s rags. Not the end of the world, life’s messy, and adirty table doesn’t ruin my day. Then came the menus... or what was left of them. Pages glued together, a sticky, laminated cry for help. Actual bits of food pressed in like stickers from a 3 year old. We handed it back to the staff and they took it without much surprise. Almost like it was not the first time. Our drinks arrived...tepid, barely kissed by ice. Five lonely chips floating in a sea of room temperature cola (I wish I was joking). We asked for more ice, got the same sad handful. Maybe the price of ice went up....maybe they just didn’t care. We ordered anyways. Pizza for the wife and I, a cheese pie for the little one and a chicken sandwich for the oldest. The room felt heavy. It wasnt silent not loud, it was just… uninspired. A staff moving through the motions, faces blank, energy drained. Everyone looked like they’d rather be anywhere else...maybe they would. BUT when you’re in the business of feeding people, indifference is contagious. The food arrived, the pretzel wasn’t bad. A big salty, warm, a bright spot in an otherwise gray afternoon. BUT, it was too big for the plate, hanging off the edges, touching the table. Maybe a small thing, but still, there’s something about food brushing a bare table that really wasn't wiped down. The pizza? It was average. Pepperoni clumped together like it was hiding from daylight. Grease pooling in corners, forcing me to dab it down with napkins like I was mopping a spill. Not the worst, not the best. I ate it nonetheless. We left full, but unsatisfied. Im not angry, just disappointed. A hundred bucks later and I felt like I paid for the experience of watching a once promising place lose its soul. Because it’s not just about the food, its about the feeling.....but there was none.

Back Bay Brewing Co. is a brewery located in Virginia Beach near the oceanfront that is known for its delicious small-batch brews and unique atmosphere. The brewery is furnished with rustic industrial furniture, making it a great place to hang out with friends or take a date on a date night.
It was my first time there. I'm from Smithfield, so it's a little far, but totally worth it. The vibe is chill, friendly and a little nerdy, but that made it a great welcoming place. Everyone could relax and be themselves. Will be coming back.

Great Brewery off of the beaten path. You'd probably drive or even walk right past it. With a couple of other business connected and those being run down a little, you find this little gem of a place. Once you walk into the Brewery it opens up and looks much more updated. It's fairly large inside and then there is an upstairs. Upstairs there is another small bar and a stage, then a sitting room. There are a few couch and tables throughout. Board games and some arcade games, but they weren't on while we were there. We had a group of 4 and everyone enjoyed their beer. They were sold out of there 🎃 ale. Dog friendly, we had a friend meet us there with her Great Dane puppy. They have a door that lead to a connecting hallway, that has a Mexican restaurant. Very convenient to grab some grub and a brew here. Great atmosphere, good beer and staff. It's a good place to check out.

What a wonderful, friendly, accommodating brewery this is. On top of the great beer, this place was a joy to visit every time, and over the course of a week, we visited quite often. Walking distance from our rental, the brewery is in a great location. The kids were entertained while mom and dad enjoyed a couple brews. Cannot wait to visit again someday. Cheers to our exceptional bartenders.

Welcoming local brewpub with plenty of bar seating and communal tables. The beer tenders are knowledgeable, friendly and fast. No eats here but there is Gringo’s, Zekes and Pizza Chapel in the building. They will even deliver to you. Very dog friendly. Live music upstairs so check the schedule to see who’s playing. Bingo night on Tuesdays. No TVs (that’s a plus in my mind. Worth the short walk from the Boardwalk.

Three Notch'd Brewery & Craft Kitchen in Virginia Beach is an offshoot of the popular Charlottesville establishment. Located at Town Center, it has gained a strong following among beer enthusiasts and food lovers. The menu offers a variety of options, including vegetarian and gluten-free choices, with seasonal beer-inspired dishes. Chef Stephen Kerschner creates staple items like pretzel bites and beef sliders, as well as build-your-own mac-n-cheese bowls.
Wow! What a culinary experience! When i tell you the food was great? It was! I have eaten good foods from the Caribbean Islands to New Orleans and California, NY, Canada, etc! The flavors for this style of food were awesome. We enjoyed dining in and sharing wonderful conversations with the staff. Kenny was so gracious, and the hospitality and attention to detail were so appreciated. Everything came out hot. We will be back the next time we are in Va. Thank you.

This was my first visit to Three Notch'd Brewery and Craft Kitchen and I was pleasantly surprised. With many brew pubs the focus is either on the food or the beer but in this instance you will find both exceptional. Their online menu has quite a lot to offer so you will find something for everyone in your party. I particularly enjoyed their Korean crispy tofu bites and they're Cajun fish tacos. Others in my party loved their burgers but asked for extra napkins because they're sloppy. The service was friendly, efficient and fast. We were there for a fairly early dinner on a Friday evening but there was still plenty of seating available and the dining area was casual and clean. They have larger butcher block style tables so it's perfect for bigger parties but still has plenty of seating for smaller groups. They have a nice outdoor seating area available as well but seems like it would be awfully noisy being right next to Virginia Beach Blvd. This is a great place to enjoy good food and craft beer with your friends.

I was pleasantly surprised to come in and be seated promptly, the vibe was nice, love the modern, industrial look to the place…it wasn’t super packed…off to a good start! NOW…shout out to Kenny and the whole staff that bought out my delicious fish and chips entree and I even added a brioche bun to make it a sandwich! PERFECTO!! Foot was hot, delicious and the garlic parm fries are very addicting! My daughter had the yummy bacon jam burger and again…those Fries are addicting! Shout out to Kenny again ❤️ , and all our servers that evening and we thank you for your good food and good vibes!

We tried this place on 4 Oct. My husband is not a soup person and he loved the potato beer cheese soup and the Philly was also flavorful and amazing. I had the hot Honey chicken and pretzel bites. The pretzel bites were delicious but the beer cheese was the best part. I would put that cheese on everything. I could only eat half of it but I really tried to eat the entire sandwich because it was so delicious. The chicken was juicy and season well. I would love to visit this place again.

The food here is great! I really like that they will customize your order for food allergies. Highly recommend the fish and chips. You get a lot of chicken with the chicken tenders. The service here is great too! Usually can sit down right away. Never a bad choice for a great meal out.

Three Notch’d Brewery & Craft Kitchen is the perfect spot if you’re looking for great food, amazing craft beer, and a welcoming atmosphere. Their beer selection is always top-notch, with something for every taste—from crisp lagers to bold IPAs and creative seasonal brews. You can really tell the care and passion they put into their brewing. What really sets them apart, though, is the food. This isn’t just your average brewery menu—the dishes are fresh, flavorful, and pair perfectly with their beers. Everything I’ve tried has been delicious, and you can tell they take pride in both the kitchen and the taps. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always happy to recommend the right pairing. The space itself is lively yet comfortable, making it a great spot to hang out with friends, grab a casual meal, or just relax with a flight. Overall, Three Notch’d Brewery & Craft Kitchen is a must-visit if you’re in the area. Great beer, great food, and a great vibe—can’t ask for more!

Virginia Beach is a haven for beer enthusiasts, offering a variety of breweries to explore. Back Bay Brewing Co. and Commonwealth Brewing Company are popular choices, each with its own unique atmosphere and selection of beers. Smartmouth Pilot House, located just blocks from the Oceanfront, offers a dog-friendly outdoor drinking space in a former post office. Tarnished Truth Distilling Company stands out as the first in-hotel distillery in the United States, situated within The Historic Cavalier Hotel & Beach Club.
Entertaining and informative distillery tour! The guide was funny and had great pacing. Enjoyed the tasting portion too, where the guide had helpful answers to all the questions from the group. The distillery is inside a super swanky hotel so that's a cool experience in itself. Because the Hunt Room restaurant was closed, we got to peek inside and learn about the history there, too.

The tour was perfect! Gave lots of info, but wasn't too long. The bourbon here is fantastic, and the moonshine was the best I've tasted. It's definitely worth it to pay extra for a taste of the premium bourbon! Great experience!

My girl and I went on the distillery tour and it was amazing. Our tour guide was Tyler and he was very cool and knowledgeable. First time ever getting to see a distillery inside a historic hotel. My favorite was the premium pour of the Old Cavalier Single barrel bourbon, so good we bought a bottle to take home along with their number one seller the bourbon cream but the eggnog version. Definitely recommend this tour but beware parking is hard to find but they always have valet parking available.

The Tarnished Truth Distillery was a wonderful experience. It starts off a little cramped as everyone meets in their gift shop, but begins to widen up a bit as you begin the tour through the distillery. It's a fairly short tour as the distillery is smaller, but the tasting event of the tour is wonderful. It was a pleasure to be able to try their products, and their tasting room was beautiful. The Old Cavalier Bourbon Cream is an absolute treat and I'm excited to purchase this for my next bottle of Tarnished Truth product. My tour gifted a Tarnished Truth branded Glencairn Glass. Ari, our tour guide, was phenomenal and well knowledgeable about the Cavalier and Distillery. All around great way to spend $20 and an hour of your day.

Wow! What an experience! We love their whiskey but to get to tour their distillery, taste some spirits and learn about their product was amazing. You would think their were a major manufacturer but a small team of 6 hand bottles and labels each and every bottle. This distillery is an absolute gem! Having been around for almost 20 years, it’s a beloved local spot with a welcoming and cozy atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home. What really impressed me is how accessible everything is—from the distilling process done on-site to the creative offerings. We stopped in on a rainy day during our day date adventure. Very welcoming and relaxing vibe. We checked the menu and decided on bloody mary’s with the ghost pepper vodka. The old bay around the rim made the drink hit with the right level of smooth and spicy. For our second round we went with the stoners fresh herb vodka and autumn heat mixed cocktail. Both were well made and delicious. Service was ok only because a large group showed up. The staff were incredibly friendly so it all worked out fine. We walked away with a bottle of the ghost pepper vodka and cool swag.

☕️🌊 Bold Mariner Has Coffee Now? Yes Please! Just when I thought Bold Mariner couldn’t get any better they went and added coffee to the mix. Now you can start your morning steps from the beach with a fresh cup in hand. The vibe is relaxed the breeze is perfect and the smell of homemade pastries and fresh coffee is enough to make you want to stay all day. What is better than sipping a rich brew with the ocean nearby? Not much. Whether you are an early riser or just looking for a new chill morning spot this place has it all. Do not sleep on the pastries either they are homemade and dangerously good. Big win for the Ocean View community.

Great little spot on Ocean View. Stop, grab a beer and sit on the front porch for a bit to unwind. Lots of drink options on tap. If you can't decide, get a flight of 4! The BBQ joint here serve up tasty grillz and sides. Great accompaniment to your brew. OH, and this place is a self-service so don't expect table side visits from wait staff.
Nola — Google review
Unfortunately, the BBQ isn't there anymore. ( Check out BAR_Q on ig)I feel like that was the staple of the place. The beer itself is fine, nothing special. It's just another brewery but in a good location. They have outside seating on the deck upstairs and down. I had a burger that was really good and tried a chicken sandwich. The food was perfect, but let's be honest, a $16 burger and fries.... im sure all the food is great, but prices need to come down. I dont know what it is about Virginia, but they overcharge if the location is near the beach. I understand business, and if you have been following my reviews, you know Virginia is not local residents friendly. Essentially, seeing how other states and counties handle "vacation" locations. This place also has coffee in the morning, I guess. But im unsure about any events being held like bingo, karaoke, food trucks, small businesses, pop-ups, etc... and things to support local businesses. It just seems more of a for-profit business not much for community to call a "home" or " my week spot". They support navy seals and probably also owned by one too, so im sure any kinda profit is just for them and they dont really care about the lovely community that has been built around them. Everything they have is for sale, even a membership mug to get "discounts." They do have a beach clean up, but everyone i talked to said its really just to get more business coming in. They didn't do that until they noticed a local run club doing it. But over all this is another place I never recommend people go to based on word of mouth, what they offer, and own experience. not my first visit. I've been here multiple times since they have opened and wanted to check it out 1 last time. This place isn't leaving anytime soon since having a military face, but I dont see it getting anymore locations or good credibility through the brewery & local native community.

A quick stop at the Bold Mariner, beers and a snack. I went frogman, X 2, there was a sour in the order as well. Food, flat bread pizza, a sub and fries. All was well received. The pizza was very good, shareable or poundable if hungry. There’s a nice porch, plenty of room. Inside there’s plenty of space and some table top games. Enjoy, drink like a frogman.
Bob S — Google review
More of a restaurant than a brewery, they have a lot of things going on here. It looks like a modern plantation house complete with columns and wrap around porches. Inside it's slightly more brewery like, looks of wood/metal and concrete. It looks bigger outside than it is inside, I'm guessing the kitchen/brewery equipment takes up a big chunk of their floor space. Is that why they don't have an actual bar counter, IDK but seems odd for a brewery. When I walked in I could only smell and see people eating the BBQ. I didn't partake but it smelled smokey and delicious. They also had several deserts at the counter and an ice cream cart/cooler if you wanted scoops too. I made the long but fairly easy walk from my hotel down the street and arrived with about two hours or service left on a Saturday. It wasn't packed but they had several groups hanging out eating and drinking. They don't do half pours, which is no bueno in my book. Even if on foot I'm not trying to get ripped when I travel to breweries. I nursed my two beers and read some once staff got rid of the obviously too drunk guy walking around spilling his water everywhere. New Orleans life, I'm used drunken exuberance, so he didn't really bother me. But clearly he had too many and staff had already cut him off. Maybe serving half pours would've prevented this? I just had the Vienna lager and the hazy double IPA. While the IPA was good, I liked the lager better. The staff was friendly, they came to check on me when they thought I was being harassed. Even with my portion protests, they sell coozies like a proper brewery and get a pass for not actually having a bar. I will get some BBQ next time I visit.

Great beer, great atmosphere, and outstanding service. 5oz pours were 2$ I believe. I absolutely love their Sweet Potato flavored beer! The bar is very clean and the decorations and artwork add the perfect touch to their "newsroom" theme. We got 3 crowlers. Not your average brewery. This establishment takes on a more chill, modern hole-in-the-wall approach. The sweet potato beer was definitely the best of the bunch we tried. The maple blueberry pancake porter takes you on a journey, worth a try if you like porters. One item I would implore the owners/staff to implement would be some sound dampening/noise abatement pads up top. There aren’t any soft surfaces in this space, so it’s a giant echo chamber. There were maybe ten to fifteen other customers in here with us on a Saturday and we were having to yell just to hear each other. A little sound dampening goes a long way in providing a much better environment. And it doesn’t cost much!

Pretty legit brewery that just opened up. Their opening night beers were ok, nothing out of this world. I think when things get rolling their beers will improve. Great atmosphere in the brewery. The faucets in the bathroom were awesome!

The owner is awesome. I didn't realize he started his own venture. Was surprised when I saw him in here and blew my mind when he said it was his baby! Job well done! Golden ale is fantastic. Easy drinking! You have done well with this place. Congratulations!

A very friendly staff (Amanda and Darrell) always greet guests with a smile. The beers are varied styles and are very tasty. The seating area is comfortable and we have met many new friends here since recently moving to the area. A job well done Deadline Brewing Project!!

The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly.. The owner is also personable and willing to engage in conversation. The brewery has a modern, sleek, and tasteful theme of grayscale that's reminiscent of the daily newspaper. Every beer is just about brewed in house and they have a constant selection rotating with regularly scheduled holiday releases with two Mainstays being a blonde and IPA. Good enough to not only come back to, but also recommend to others.

Beach Vodka is a local distillery and tasting room located in Virginia Beach, offering a lively atmosphere with great decor and merchandise. The distillery follows strict ABC rules but still offers a nice menu of cocktails. Visitors can enjoy various drinks such as Espresso Martini, Orange Pineapple Crush, and Bloody Mary (Crabby Mary). The venue provides an enjoyable experience with activities like playing shuffleboard while sipping on chocolate martinis and orange crushes.
Going to Beach vodka was such a fun experience! The store itself has such a chill, relaxing environment. It is definitely a place you could hang out with friends for a while, there are also games that you can play. The drinks are delicious and use house made vodka - definitely try the lemon lover, it is tart and delicious!!!

Beach Vodka is a hidden gem near the Virginia Beach oceanfront. It's a great place to relax and enjoy in house vodka with friends and family any day of the week. The drinks are delicious and the staff makes you feel like family. I have enjoyed a couple of fun events hosted there from a baby shower to vendor showcasing. Looking forward to the next event!

Great time with our dog, Cinnamon, able to be with us! When traveling with a dog it is a bonus to find dog friendly venue that is worth the stop! Loved the atmosphere and the VODKA! Brought quite a few bottles back to share with friends. My husband doesn't drink but really had to have a t-shirt😅 Our hostess was so easy to visit with while learning about this product. And the hand painted bottles that are filled with vanilla are a special bonus! Will be back!

Great food in an awesome atmosphere. Food is pretty good. Calamari was awesome. Fish and chips was delicious, pretty big soon too. Boneless chicken wings were pretty tasty.

Gordon Biersch Brewery delicious food and freaking amazing beers. If you are a Budweiser, Coorslight, Corina, etc etc fan this is not the place for you. However, if you are the type that like to taste a sample exotic beer flavors well my friend Gordon Biersch is your Disneyland. I suggest getting the beer sampler. The menu is well priced and the staff is very attentive.

We only went for beers. Very nice beer selection. Beers were delicious and very well priced considering the size! I definitely would go back here. They also serve food, but we already ate dinner. Service was good. Only one bar tender was surprising for the crowd level, but we still never waited long. Very happy.

The food was very delicious, our server was very pleasant and knowledgeable of the menu. I feel like the value of the food was worth every bit and I do plan on returning soon. I got a sample of beer flight which I got the opportunity to try beers I wanted have before, and they all were surprisingly delicious in their own ways. I highly recommend a date night out there. My girlfriend was presently surprised by the quality of their sweet tea as well as the rest of her food.

I have been here a few times, and I have never had a bad experience. I love their garlic fries, and the service is friendly and efficient. I try to get something new whenever I revisit a place, and they have plenty to choose from. I do not drink alcohol, so I can't speak to their craft beers. They sound amazing though! If you are in the mood for some German-inspired dishes give them a chance.

I am freaking blown away. I am 49 and I have to say this is one of the best restaurant experiences ever. For one our server Tim was the most professional restaurateur in the business. You can tell he cares about his craft and especially the customer. The food was crafted with so much Love. Absolutely Love IT

Decided on a whim to check this place out for one of our dinners on our honeymoon and it was fantastic! Ryan, our server, was so friendly and knowledgeable! We enjoyed the skirt steak with udon noodles, Atlantic Salmon with this delicious Israeli cous cous, and this phenomenal honey lemon lavender crème brûlée with a white chocolate base! Everything was delicious! The sparkling rose toast they offered to us was such a nice touch! It looks like they have a great Happy Hour too. We’ll return if we’re ever back in the area!

We came on a Saturday night, after visiting 3 other places, where we couldn’t be seated.. These guys actually had a table reserved for walk-ins only, which is a great idea and in all honesty it was worth the hustle 😁 The food and drinks were delicious, service was great and overall atmosphere was amazing! We had a great time!

Great Girls Night out spot too!

Really great place that friends of ours had been to the night before, so we all went together for our second night in VB. Highly recommend a reservation- it gets very busy. We came on a Saturday night and it was packed! (And it gets a bit loud.) You can't go wrong with any dish - from the drinks, to the appetizers, to the snacks and entrees, everything was fresh and delicious. We were sad that we didn't have room for dessert, but the entrees were filling! I really enjoyed the Shrimp and Grits dish- one of the best that I've ever had. Our friend got the pork chop medium rare, the first place I've ever seen where that was an option. Our server Ash was very friendly and attentive, and the manager even came over to say hello. We will be adding Eurasia to our favorites list for the next time we come to VB!

Overall amazing experience and would come here again. I ordered the Gouda Grits & Shrimp and the portion size was a bit smaller than I am used to but the food was amazing, which made up for that a little. Excellent service and environment, the kitchen was also well staffed, fantastic restaurant!

We’ve been coming to Eurasia for years. Every meal is delicious. This week, we came once again for brunch. We had the fish tacos which were a celebration of flavor and delicately battered and beautifully presented. We also had the confit duck biscuits and gravy. The rosemary biscuits were delightful and had a crispy crust. The duck velouté “gravy” was rich but not overly so and filled with chunks of duck meat. All in all, a quite fantastic meal (as we have come to expect from Eurasia).

Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant in Virginia Beach offers a sophisticated dining experience with a globally-inspired menu and an extensive selection of wines produced on-site. The upscale atmosphere makes it perfect for a romantic dinner date, where you can savor dishes like seared ahi tuna, roasted duck breast, and decadent chocolate lava cake. This local favorite is known for its delicious wine and gourmet options, sourced from the best grape producers worldwide.
I had the absolute pleasure of celebrating Mother’s Day at Cooper’s Hawk, and I can’t say enough about the incredible experience we had. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming — the perfect setting for such a special occasion. A huge shoutout to Adam, who went above and beyond to ensure everything was flawless. His attentiveness, professionalism, and genuine care made us feel truly valued and appreciated. He set the tone for what turned out to be an unforgettable evening. The entire Cooper’s Hawk staff was equally impressive — kind, knowledgeable, and extremely efficient. Our food came out perfectly timed, beautifully plated, and absolutely delicious. Every course exceeded expectations, and you could tell the kitchen and service teams were working in perfect harmony. Thank you to everyone at Cooper’s Hawk for making our Mother’s Day celebration so memorable. You turned a simple dinner into a lasting memory, and we can’t wait to come back again!
Deiyauna D — Google review
We chose Cooper's Hawk since my daughter joined their wine club and said the food was really good. Upon entering you there is no clear indicator of where you go to get a table. The entry is busy with little tables of things to purchase, one bar, a 'check in" and "check out " counter, then another counter under a Cooper's Hawk sign. After putting our name on the list to get a table, the wait was 30 min for inside or outside. Our preference was outside. The restaurant was roughly 50% empty inside. So I assumed they were down on staff. 50 min later we asked how much longer and they said they were clearing a table. Unfortunately, that table was inside. It would be a little longer for outside. This is why I gave 3 stars! Kenny was our server, and he was very pleasant. Our drinks did take a few minutes to come out (wine and a mocktail). Appetizer - Calamari, the other two throughly enjoyed. My daughter ordered the Grouper which was so delicious! I had the Cliantro Ranch Chicken and a side salad. The chicken was tender and everything went well together! My salad did not come out, and after asking it took some time. The last order was the Prime sandwich. I did not taste, but looked delicious! As far as atmosphere, it is a wide open space, so nothing to block noise. Towards the end of our meal there happen to be a very loud girl 3 booths down, and we were all happy to be leaving because it was a level of loud that was disruptive.

9/20/25 - was invited for a friend birthday dinner. The front is like a mini store plus a long bar to try the wines. We were seating just behind that area at a round table. You are given complimentary pretzel upon seating. We ordered the appetizers the egg rolls, classic tomatoes bruschetta, and the brussel sprouts. All three appetizers were very good. The flavors were great and great portion for a table of 7. I got the soy ginger salmon as my meal and the lobster crab soup. The soup lacked flavor and tasted only like cream which I was a bit disappointed by. My salmon also tasted like salmon and not much flavor. Could barely taste any soy ginger sauce they used. The Asian coleslaw was nice. My friend got the gnocchi carbonari pasta which tasted pretty good. Our server was great and paired a great wine with my friends dinner. The appetizers or my favorite but my meal lacked considering the pricing. Would love to come back to try some wines and eat some appetizers though.

Went a few weeks ago for dinner with my Wife and our friends. The waiter was very attentive and offered us the membership. Her presentation was so good we were all in. The food was very good and the wines we selected were amazing. We had the Red Sangria and the Rose. Having the membership allows us two bottles per visit and three free bottles a month for home of our choosing. I can't speak highly enough about the hospitality, atmosphere or food service.

Came here to eat for a date night. It was a very nice atmosphere and experience. Wines are all tasty. The food was really good. Booked a reservation in advance but still had to wait a bit. Food: We had the Asian Ahi Tuna Sashimi appetizer, Gnocchi Carbonara, and Parmesan Crusted Mahi Mahi. The sashimi was room temp which slightly concerned me but it was good and nothing came of it. I was also worried about ordering the only sushi on the menu of a place that isn't known for sushi. (We have been binge watching kitchen nightmares so that doesn't help.😅) The Mahi Mahi was my favorite and absolutely delicious with the broccolini. Drinks: Blueberry Acai Sparkling Sangria, Camille Magnificent, Romance Red, Lux Ice, and Lux Cabernet Sauvignon. The Camille was on the same dryness level as the Lux Cab; dry but with a different flavor, which I enjoy with food. The Romance red tasted like red grape juice; very enjoyable and sweet. The Lux Ice tasted like the juice from one of those plastic dole peach fruit cups; very sweet, fruity, dessert wine. Service: Service was great at first. Very responsive and decent. Towards the middle/end of our dining, our waitress was scarce. I was considering dessert but by the time we saw the waitress again, I was ready to leave. All drinks were empty and all plates cleaned for at least 10-15 minutes while we waited for her return. Side rant: They do not offer military discount which I think is ridiculous. So many places are going away from this and it just shows me how greedy they are. It's only a 10% discount usually. Plus we are expected to pay a minimum of 18% tip to the server instead of the company paying employees higher wages. Whatever happened to 15% being excellent service?
Dustin C — Google review
While we loved the food here, the experience itself wasn't great and we wouldn't return. The first issue was trying to find parking. It was pouring and it took my husband over 15 minutes to try & find a spot near the restaurant. We were seated and noticed right away we couldn't hear each other at all. Loudest restaurant I've ever been to. The wine/bar area is close to the dining area and they crammed so many tables in the dining area that I had a headache from the noise level by the time we left. Lunch might possibly be quieter. Service was very slow (we were there 2 hours after being seated). They forgot my crab bisque and I had to remind the waiter when he said our entrees were finally coming out. He said he'd remove it from the bill but didn't when it came. We did enjoy our entrees & salad but definitely not a place for a romantic date, relaxing dinner, or for communicating with those in your party. I cannot begin to describe how loud it was. The waiter said it's usually even louder.

We hosted my bridal shower here and it was the best decision! Kathy was our server and wow- she was the most wonderful part of our day. From the moment we walked in she was so friendly and took care of everything we could think of, before we could think of it! I have had promotion celebrations, birthdays, and goodbye dinners at CH and Kathy just proves why it is the perfect place to have a great meal and great time with friends and family. Will definitely be back very soon! Dominic was our event contact and he was the absolute best as well- he made sure every detail was taken care of. Peep Kathy in the group photo with us!!

Esoteric is a contemporary gastropub located in the ViBe Creative District, housed in a 1920s-era building on the Virginia Beach Historical Registry. The restaurant offers creative tavern fare and craft beers on tap, with an emphasis on European-influenced dishes made from locally sourced ingredients, some of which come from its own garden shared with its neighbor, Commune. The restaurant's outdoor dining area provides an immersive experience with string lights and views of the enchanting garden.
Esoteric is one of my favorite restaurants in Virginia Beach. I always have a good experience and the wait staff is seriously the best and so kind and really attentive. The food is fresh and the menu is seasonal so there is typically something new and different to try. The aesthetic is on point. Such great lighting and wall art by Roxy Hall… go check it out. She’s the best. We love it here. The bartenders are great. The food is great. It’s not even really loud which is so nice. The bathrooms are cool too.

My partner has been raving about Esoteric in VA Beach since we met. We finally stopped by after hitting up Vibrant Shore Brewing Company on a sunny Sunday afternoon. I can see what all the fuss is about. 🍻😋👏 My favorite part of the meal was our appetizer: Buffalo Oyster Mushroom Bites with the most incredible breading, texture, and flavor. Literally decadent... we are constantly amazed how mushrooms can magically imitate meat in the best way. 🍄🤤👍 For entrees, I had a pretty simple Black Garlic Caesar salad with grilled chicken, but it was mighty tasty with blistered tomatoes, manchego cheese, and nduja croutons. 🥗🐔🧀 My partner enjoyed the Hot Halibut Sammie with a perfectly fried filet complete with smoked hot honey sauce, hot sauce aioli, provolone, and a warm fennel slaw on potato bread. A splash of fresh lemon was all we needed to take the flavor profile over the edge. 🐟🍋😋 Esoteric has a pretty awesome draft beer list although quite a few of the ones we requested were kicked. Still...service was great and the food and portions were well worth the slightly above-average price tag. I hear the Happy Hour is a must. 🍻🥂👍 IG: @jamesandjesslivedeliciously

Exception food, cocktails, service, and atmosphere! Started with Coco Mango Marg and Yellow Brick Road cocktails, both were well-balanced, definitely not too strong. Duck tacos were incredible, massive and flavorful, and an unbeatable deal at happy hour! Strawberry salad excellent as well. White Russian and Endless Summer cocktails also delicious and well-balanced. Pork chop and scallop entrees both very nice, soy marinade on the pork chop shines while scallops were perfectly tender with an incredible sauce! Made Ya Blush shooter is super fun and tasty, and desserts of house-made donuts and peanut butter s'more brownie were both outstanding, as good as you could imagine, both must-tries!

WOW! This place knocked it out of the park! We started with the duck tacos - the meat portion was very generous. Melt in your mouth meat. The Guys Dinner, wagyu meatball sub and fries. It was pretty damn good, flavorful, and tender! Next time we’d ask for extra sauce on the side because we couldn’t get enough of it. The Spicy Chicken Sammie was incredible! Bursts of flavor with every bite. 10/10 highly recommend.

One of if not THE best cocktail bars to go to in Va Beach! The bartenders are the nicest and make amazing drinks, then menu rotates based on the season, and every ingredient in their drinks and food is incredibly fresh. I recommend this place to anyone in the area!

Very tasty food and decent food portion. Tajin Watermelon Salad was delicious with things I normally wouldn’t put in a salad. The duck tacos were generously filled and very tasty. Pork chop had a nice flavor to it with green beans and sliced potato. Only surprising thing was the beer price… Came in at $1/oz which outprices local competition. A neighboring brewery gave a pint of beer for $6-7, where a 14oz serving was $14. Felt a little bit ripped off for what’s simply a draft beer. I’d definitely go again, but my beverage choice may be scrutinized a little closer next time.

Nestled in a vibrant atmosphere, Big Ugly Brewing is a delightful destination for beer enthusiasts and casual visitors alike. The brewery's quirky name pays homage to a vintage 1955 Chevy panel truck owned by one of the founders, setting the tone for its unique charm. Inside, you'll find an inviting taproom adorned with classic car garage decor and vintage vehicles that create a nostalgic vibe. Guests can also catch glimpses of the brewing process thanks to exposed equipment.
Cool brewery with a great outdoor patio and fun indoor vibe. My favorite beers were the Moo Moo Farm milk stout and the Maybe Today Satan double-IPA. We visited Big Ugly on our way back from the outer banks- it was only a few minutes off our route. We only had time for a flight, but it's on the top of my list to visit next time I'm in the area. Love the barbershop chairs and the VW bus inside -and their Chesapeake mural is simple amazing.

My husband, and I with some of our friends visited here over the weekend to listen to music, and drink beer in the evening of my husband's birthday. We really enjoyed the musician, and my husband of course really liked his beer. I enjoyed the fact that there is plenty of seating inside, and outside, and the restrooms were clean as well.

A fairly upbeat brewery with some decent beverages. I enjoyed their milk stout and found it to be very rich and flavorful. There was live music there which may have drawn a crowd, but it wasn’t really my taste. However, it was nice to see so many folks at a small business. I’ll be back at some point, definitely worth the trip.

Our first visit and we enjoyed the open floor plan, ease of parking and the music. We actually didn’t drink, we were there for paint night. The Hyatt House Virginia Beach / Oceanfront offers a comfortable stay with ocean views and free breakfast. Situated close to the beach, it provides sweeping vistas of the Atlantic and the Virginia Beach Boardwalk. The 156 well-equipped accommodations feature oceanfront balconies, with some offering living rooms and kitchen facilities. The hotel's Ocean 27 restaurant is a popular spot for beachside dining.
We had a fantastic experience at this hotel over the weekend! The rooms were spotless, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the service from check-in to check-out was seamless. Everything felt welcoming and well-organized. The view from the balcony was absolutely stunning—definitely a highlight! A few helpful things to know: - There’s a $20 parking fee, but that’s pretty standard for beachfront hotels in the area. - The load/unload zone can get a bit busy during peak times, but they have a dedicated staff member helping to manage the flow, which makes things easier. - Breakfast was great—we really enjoyed the variety and quality. - They offer complimentary beach towels, toys, and umbrellas, which made our beach time so much easier and more enjoyable. - You can choose between a key card or a wristband as your room key. We loved the wristband option—it’s perfect for the beach because you don’t have to worry about carrying or losing a key. Highly recommend this hotel for a clean, convenient, and relaxing beach getaway!

Absolutely loved my stay here. All the staff were really warm, friendly, and helpful. It was like they were excited to see me and I felt very welcomed. Also the building is gorgeous, elevator's nice and spacious, and the room was beautiful. Beds were super comfy, everything was neat and clean, and I wasn't even expecting the little kitchenette with free coffee and tea but that was nice. The room's door howled a bit (airflow vs door seal issue) but a towel at the base was an easy solution -- and once that was fixed, super quiet and peaceful space. View was perfect, vibes were immaculate, 10/10 will stay again. :)

The Hyatt House Virginia Beach was worth the stay. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and well equipped. Service was mostly good with a couple minor questionable interactions with evening staff specifically. Free breakfast is always appreciated but the food items were a mixed bag. The hash browns and sausage were the best choices. Coffee was unsatisfactory. I would stay again if the price is right.
Ben T — Google review
We really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Every room has a balcony and a beach view. We enjoyed watching the dolphins swim by periodically. I enjoyed watching the helicopters and jets (f35?) And f15's (?) Zoom by. There appeared to be military training exercises being conducted just offshore which was entertaining. We were there in mid October and the water was warmer than the summer water where we live so I amused people by going for a ocean swim each day. They provided towels for beach. The indoor pool was clean, reasonable size and very warm. Laundry facilities were 3 of each machine and detergent packages for free at front desk! Breakfast was acceptable but the staff at breakfast were super nice and helpful. Each request we made at the front desk was handled promptly and courteously. Bed was comfy and slept great with balcony door open to listen to the surf.

Total disappointment! During check in we were presented with a mandatory destination fee exceeding $400, which was completely unexpected. My confirmation email clearly stated a $30 destination fee. This misleading communication is unacceptable. Furthermore, the fee covered items such as towels and beach toys, which we did not use or request. These types of charges should be optional, not imposed on every guest regardless of individual needs. In addition, during our 8 night stay, our room was never cleaned — despite multiple requests and the clear indication that we wanted housekeeping. This level of neglect is completely unprofessional and reflects poorly on the standards expected from a Hyatt property. We also mentioned concerns about one of the elevators, which made an extremely loud and alarming noises, but we were told this was “normal,” but it did not sound safe or well maintained which could lead to serious concerns about guest safety. Finally, the breakfast offerings were the exact same every day. For longer stays, some variety should be a basic expectation. This experience was far below the quality and service promised comparing to the price we paid. I strongly urge you to review these issues and take corrective action. Guests deserve transparency, cleanliness, safety, and attentive service — none of which were delivered during our stay.

The staff was friendly and the hotel itself was clean, which I appreciated. The location was convenient with a nice view, but I was really disappointed with the balcony — there was no privacy whatsoever, which made it uncomfortable. Because of that, I likely wouldn’t choose to stay here again. Breakfast also left a lot to be desired. The eggs were unappetizing and often sitting in water, and the bacon was extremely thin. Overall, not the best dining experience. Parking is limited to valet only, which meant waiting for my car each time I left—definitely less convenient than I had hoped.

I wanted to express our sincere gratitude for the amazing stay. Our entire family thoroughly enjoyed our time and was sad that our two days went by so quickly. The oceanfront view was absolutely breathtaking, and watching the sunrise was a truly scenic experience. We are already planning to revisit in the future. I was also very fortunate to receive an upgraded suite room for our family during our stay, which we greatly appreciated. Thank you again for everything!

The Casual Pint of Virginia Beach offers a friendly and fun atmosphere with fresh, handcrafted beer and premium made-from-scratch food. While it's more of a bar than a restaurant, the portions are small but of good quality. The traditional wings are highly recommended. It's a great place to hang out with friends and enjoy the amazing flatbreads with generous serving sizes. Whether it's for a casual meal or just to enjoy the atmosphere, this spot is worth returning to.
This was a first time here and it was an absolute amazing experience. My daughter and I stopped in before a concert and were fortunate enough to get a couple seats at a table with the “OG regulars.” Every spot in the place was filled. The food was great, the people were fantastic, and there were many beer options including N.A. options. Thank you for taking care of us!
Mike M — Google review
This place is very unique for sure. I had a great time overall. The food was absolutely delicious and were decent portions, but it took longer than any of us anticipated. A lot of beer and cider to choose from, but you have to go stand in line to order anything. Definitely a different experience for sure.
Bryce G — Google review
The food was really tasty. I tried one of their ciders, something tropical but I don't remember the exact name, and it was delicious. Crazy huge beer selection! Really cool to see everything displayed. Hoping yo visit again!
Kaitlynn H — Google review
We have been going here for years. They have a great, large selection of beers on tap, usually 3 ciders as well (which are my favorites). The food is delicious. We almost always get the pretzel and the wings even though we love everything else we have tried just as much.
Rebecca R — Google review
A place for both my boyfriend and me! I don't like beer but I love this place. They have non-beer drinks for people like me and lots of small brewery beers for beer people. The food is always good and the specials are great. Service is amazing!
Becky G — Google review
It's a beer wonderland. A bar with 40ish taps and a beer store. Like it? Buy it to take home. Really good food too. Spicy chicken skewers and the HUGE soft pretzel are my favorites. Such a great place.
Christopher P — Google review
Easy 5 stars . Fast service and amazing selection of beer. The pretzel complimented the drinks well. Very clean and nice atmosphere. Great place to chill out! I will for sure come back and pay them another visit.
Vinny F — Google review
Today was our first time eating at Casual Point and it will definitely be our last. From the rude and disrespectful waiter (Cole or Cody), waitress (female with blue or green hair) all the way to getting charged twice for our tab. We ordered food and drinks at the bar and put a card on file just incase we wanted to order more drinks, we never did. We paid in cash, left a good tip and left the restaurant. An hour later our card was STILL charged but for a different amount. Not $1 like a normal establishment. We called, and the waiter who served us listened to our concerns then hung up the phone on us. So we drove back to speak to a manager and neither of them would let us speak to a manager nor at least give us the cash back. Lesson learned with this place, we will never return and we definitely will be spreading the word! There’s not one establishment that will fully charge your card when it’s only on file to keep your tab open. THEN accept your cash and tip in cash as well. Shame on Casual Pint.

If you're looking for a budget-friendly getaway in Virginia Beach, look no further than Sundial Inn. This straightforward hotel is perfectly situated just a short stroll from the beach and boardwalk, making it an ideal base for your adventures. Guests can enjoy a refreshing seasonal outdoor pool and take advantage of complimentary parking during their stay. The staff at Sundial Inn are known for their exceptional customer service, going above and beyond to ensure that every guest feels welcomed and valued.
We needed a hotel on the fly and googled what was in VA beach that was as close to the beach as we could afford. The Sundial Inn was a great choice. We booked the kind room which was a corner unit with a full kitchen, table and chairs, a full bathroom and a king sized bed. The room was clean, everything seemed to work fine, the water was hot in the shower and had a decent flow, there was a connecting door to another room which would be neat if you had older kids who were vacationing with you and the parents wanted a separate space. Our stay was quiet and the walk was a short one to the beach and all the shops. We had zero issues while staying here and would recommend this as a great choice for others to stay. It was under $120 with taxes per night. Great location, close to everything and parking was ample.
Adventure A — Google review
Honestly for the price it was a great stay. The room was clean, the staff I talked to were very nice, and the walk was so close to the beach. Nice that parking was included for one car as well. Our room was facing the busy street and there was a club playing music but I had no trouble sleeping. The AC worked GREAT and the room had a lot of TV channels + good working mini fridge and freezer. No complaints from me
Kimberly S — Google review
When we first parked there was a flying cockroach that landed on the car. Got to the room and it had a funky smell. We didn't change rooms still. Found small cockroaches in the bathroom, hair on the floor and in tub that definitely weren't mine, toilet rocked side to side, and the beds were horribly hard. My brother and his girlfriend had a room next door and they had a dirty shower curtain, beds were softer and they didn't see any cockroaches. Their room didn't have a funny smell to it. My door had a huge gap at the bottom where I put 2 towels at so nothing could come in under the door. The pool has algae in the bottom. We came to Virginia Beach for my nephew (10 years old). He said we should've stayed at a nicer place.
Jennifer T — Google review
I’ve stayed here many times and always loved it. This time I still loved it. What wasn’t cool was the parking, we had 3 cars as we as a family met there to enjoy a family vacation myself and my youngest daughter which is attending college had separate cars from my oldest daughter. I didn’t mind paying to park but over the course of 5 nights we paid over 120.00 to park in addition to cost of room. Parking had to be paid daily first thing every morning at no discount due to staying there. People that didn’t have rooms paid less. On Saturday I paid 40.00 and 20.00 a total of 60.00 and my friend visiting for the concert paid 10.00. When I asked the lady at the desk she stated my property my price. I was shocked and honestly could not believe the absolute greed over parking of guests staying at the hotel. As I stated I love the Sundial inn and have stayed here many times but the treatment received over 2 additional spots that I expected to pay parking for but not in the excess of 120.00 was not good service to repeat guests.
Takiesha F — Google review
The cleaning staff was the highlight of our stay — they were kind, accommodating, and truly did their best, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience left us very disappointed. We were double-charged for an extra person even though the website stated otherwise, and when we tried to resolve it, the front desk girl was rude and dismissive. She gave the impression that she could change the price whenever and however she wanted, which felt completely unfair. The room itself was rundown, had a strong unpleasant odor, and was not comfortable. While the cleaning team’s efforts stood out, it wasn’t enough to make up for the overall experience, and we would not stay here again.
Rhea ( — Google review
This hotel is absolutely the worst hotel I've stayed at. The rooms were filthy and they have been heavily smoked in. There were burn stains on everything from smoking. The walls has fecal stain on them and stains all over the beds. The door was every broken and it didn't shut properly. You could still see the walkway outside when the door was shut. The AC was falling off the wall and could see someone standing outside through your room. There was cigarette butts and underwear laying outside by the elevator. There were so many things broken. Everything was absolutely disgusting. The hotel reminds me of something you would stay at on the wrong side of town in GTA5. The pool is extremely small and the water was very cloudy/dirty. The whole building smells like snoop dog and Willie nelson we're having a smoke off. Parking is a joke. They offer parking to the general public so if you are staying at the hotel you also have to fight for parking with anyone visiting Virginia Beach. If they are out your SOL. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Especially someone with kids. I understand times may be tough but this place needs to be inspected because the building is also showing major signs of structural failure. The second I walked in I wanted to leave. I couldn't find anywhere in the area for the night. Everything was booked out. I have pictures for proof of everything posted below
Kaitlyn E — Google review
I would prefer to give zero stars but the option is not there. We booked a room for our weekend vacation to Virginia Beach. We chose this hotel because of the description on Booking.com. Very misleading! We arrived and the parking lot for the hotel doubles as public parking for the beach. Check in was easy and painless but when we got to the room….it looked nothing like the pictures on the website. The room smelled heavily of smoke and the air was musty. You can’t open a window to air it out either. The condition of the room was old and run down. It was not clean and I wouldn’t even place my bags on the bed. The front door didn’t close completely and you could smell the pot smoke from another room. As a matter of fact, we were so bothered by the condition of the room that we cut our vacation short and headed back home less than 8 hours of checking in. The staff was polite however but the room was just not clean or comfortable. Lesson learned…you indeed get what you pay for.
Cindy M — Google review
I chose this hotel because it’s only a block from the ocean, which is a great location. Check-in went smoothly. I received my keys, Wi-Fi password, and was informed about the elevator. Parking was included, which is a plus, but the parking lot is very tight. If you drive a larger vehicle, like an SUV, be prepared for difficult maneuvering. They provide a parking pass. I was first placed in Room 206 (double bed). The room itself looked different from the listing but seemed acceptable at first glance. However, a closer inspection revealed several issues: Bedding & Pillows: Many of the pillows had noticeable yellow stains (sweat marks and other spots). Only a few were usable. I stripped the bedding myself and found dead bedbugs, which was unsettling, though the mattresses were covered with protective covers. Cleanliness: The room was outdated and not very clean. I noticed dirt under the beds, a dirty shower curtain, and grime in the bathroom that I had to clean myself. The flooring was also scratched and in poor condition. Mold Concern: After a day in the room, I began coughing and noticed a musty odor. Eventually, I discovered black mold growing on the wall near the outlet by the bed. This explained my respiratory irritation. I reported it to the front desk. While they did switch me to another room, their response was inadequate, they sent someone who simply sprayed the wall and wiped it down. Mli know Mold usually indicates water damage, and this type of “cleaning” doesn’t address the root issue. I doubt they are going to officially fix the issue. I was moved to Room 102, which was similar in quality, outdated and not very clean. Outlets were a major issue in both rooms. Some didn’t work, one looked unsafe, and the few that were available weren’t conveniently placed. Privacy was also limited, since the only window faced the street and required keeping the shades closed, blocking natural light. Other observations: Amenities: The microwave, mini-fridge, AC, and elevator all worked well. The pool was small but pleasant; however, the outdoor lights never turned on in the evening, which would have added to the atmosphere. Housekeeping: The hotel provides very minimal toiletries (tiny bars of soap only). When I asked for more, they only gave me two small bars. Housekeeping also entered my room even when I hadn’t requested service, which made me uncomfortable. After that, I used the “Do Not Disturb” tag. This hotel’s location is its main selling point, along with the pool and free parking. However, the property desperately needs updates, better maintenance, and improved cleaning standards. The mold issue in Room 206 was especially concerning. While I might consider staying here again for the convenience of the location, I would advise anyone booking to thoroughly inspect their room upon arrival and report any issues immediately.

Always a great time here! If it's an event or just a tasting of the latest and greatest, enjoy feeling like family while here. 💙😎🍷

Went here recently for a paint & sip - this place did not disappoint! The wine was top tier, & everyone in our group had a blast. The bartender was also very personable and down to earth. While this isn't a full-on dining experience, they do carry snacks & give you the option to order food outside of the winery. A small discount is available for first response workers. I highly recommend the orange crush sangria 💣💣

The $5 tasting is such a fun experience! While I didn’t personally love the wine (a little too sweet for my taste) the atmosphere made up for it! While we did our tasting, it was fun to chat with the owner. We then each ordered a glass and played some games to sober up before our drive home. LOL

love this place. They have a great variety of wines, red to white, dry to sweet. Casual atmosphere and if you are bored, they have games you can play. I highly recommend the glitter wine!

We used the winery for a small private party for my husband before his deployment. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. The party room was perfectly cozy for our small family gathering and everyone loved the art decor. It was so easy to set up quickly and I was grateful that I didn’t need to bring anything but my food and decor. We purchased several bottles of wine for our family to try, and they couldn’t get enough of the peach and mango. It was such an emotional time for me but my heart is so full of gratitude that my event was a success and my husband can leave for deployment knowing just how much he is loved and appreciated. I would use the venue again in a heartbeat and we have become dedicated fans of their wines and wine slushies. Thanks to the owners and staff for having such positive energy and creating a wonderful experience.

Always the best hospitality at VB Winery! We are consistently greeted with a smile and are made sure we are taken care of at all times, not to mention the delicious variety of wines that rotates. Love supporting local!!!

Went in for a tasting and had 6 different wines and every one was delicious. The spiced apple was better cold than hot. The strawberry was my favorite. Came on a Monday afternoon so it was pretty empty but I recommend coming at any time to try these wines out!! There is plenty of room for everyone in the large winery!!! Check it out!!!

A lovely place for an enjoyable lunch with a friend. Great selections on the menu and wine list. Enjoyed the 4 oz filet mignon. You have to try the desserts. Absolutely phenomenal experience. Wines were well chosen and expertly recommended and the food was simply immaculate. My wife's salmon was tender and superbly seasoned and my steak could not have been more perfectly medium rare. Coupled with outstanding sides and brilliantly cooked entrees, this chef is on his way. Incredible meal and patient, friendly and timely wait staff. We will be back and will be bringing friends! Highly recommended!

First time visit with a friend. Plated beautifully and sirloin was cooked perfectly and melted in my mouth. Good amount of asparagus and potatoes, didn't feel slighted but there weren't an overwhelming amount. I didn't see my preferred wine on the menu, but the waiter (who was lovely) identified something perfect. Brought the cheesecake home to my partner who said it was the best he'd ever had (and he's particular). Too expensive to visit regularly (for me), but will definitely return with my partner or on an occasion.

This was my first visit to Sonoma Wine Bar and it was absolutely wonderful! Kirstey took wonderful care of me. We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful patio and she even accommodated our need to move inside. She recommended great food, paced our meal perfectly, and went the extra mile all over the place. Oh, and the happy hour wine and apps are delicious! I definitely recommend checking this place out! Bring some friends or that special someone.

Waterman Spirits is a must-visit spot located at 712A Atlantic Avenue, near The Shack on 8th in Virginia Beach. The tasting room offers a cool atmosphere with friendly staff. Visitors can enjoy delicious cocktails like the Orange Crush and Grapefruit Crush. The place has a sophisticated vibe and offers one of the best dirty martinis at an unbeatable price of $10.
I recently attended Waterman’s Spirits cocktail class, and it was an absolute blast! The atmosphere was fun and inviting, making it the perfect setting for a great time with friends. The instructors were not only knowledgeable but also incredibly engaging, making it easy to follow along and learn new skills. The drinks we made were delicious, and the recipes were creative yet simple enough to recreate at home. I loved how hands-on the class was—it truly elevated the experience. Whether you’re a cocktail enthusiast or just looking for a unique activity, this class is a must-try. Great drinks, good vibes, and memories that will last a lifetime. Highly recommend!

I took the cocktail class this Sunday and it was the perfect inside activity, learning to make delicious drinks and learn about the brand. Will definitely be back, our instructor Marissa was great, had everyone interacting with each other, and her energy was amazing. She told us how the drinks change every few months to keep it fresh and relate to the seasons, I love that. Also had their espresso martini after class, that was delicious. If you haven’t done these classes yet I would recommend and ask for Marissa as they are changing the drinks in September for their fall class!

Fantastic distillery and tasting room, perfect for a creative and delicious cocktail or two (or three)! Drinks were expertly balanced, not too strong or weak, or too sweet or acidic or bitter, just incredible. Unique and complimentary flavors and flares - masterful use of spices, fruit, and honey to make for an elevated experience. Fast and friendly service, as well, although I imagine they get busy at times; we were there on a quiet Thursday afternoon. Loved their seasonal menu, PSL Martini and Chai Espresso Martini were absolutely on point, as were Honey Pear and Sage Advice! Also tried the Pain Reliever and Pineapple Coconut Vodkarita from their regular menu - exquisite! Can't wait to make a return visit, cocktail classes look fun, as well.

Waterman Spirits is beautifully designed to bring the beach to the indoors! Their Spirits are carefully and deliciously crafted and while can enjoyably be consumed straight, their craft drinks are just as amazing!
