The Brewer's Art is a unique establishment located in a former townhouse on North Charles Street. It offers an elegant setting for enjoying housemade Belgian-style brews and upscale New American cuisine. The venue features a refined dining area with ornate woodwork, marble pillars, and chandeliers, as well as a dimly lit basement bar for a more laid-back atmosphere. The on-site brew house produces a variety of Belgian-style beers, including the popular Resurrection abbey brown ale.
This place is great. I used to frequent the basement bar during college. Recently went back and ate/drank at the bar upstairs. Mars the bartender is a gem and the brews were as good as they were 15yrs ago. This place is worth a stop if visiting Baltimore. The food is good, the fires are a must. If I lived in Baltimore again, I would frequent this spot. So good to be back!

The Brewer’s Art has a really unique atmosphere—almost like a speakeasy tucked inside a historic home. There are several distinct spaces: a front bar area, a cozy lounge-like sitting space with a fireplace, the main restaurant, and a bar downstairs. Whether you’re grabbing drinks or sitting down for a meal, there’s a spot for every mood. Add photos of some of the different spots. I just stopped in to try a beer and went with the Resurrection, one of their main brews. At $8, it was a solid price and delivered on flavor and quality. I’d definitely come back to explore more of the menu or try the food next time. The staff was friendly, and I really enjoyed the cozy ambiance, especially lounging on a couch near the fireplace. Even though it wasn’t lit, it still added warmth to the vibe. I’ve added photos of their main beers, but they offer a much broader drink selection. If you’re in the area, The Brewer’s Art is definitely worth a visit—for the atmosphere, the beer, and the overall experience.

Very underrated Mount Vernon restaurant/bar. There are two floors with a downstairs bar area and upstairs dining room. The dining room interior is beautiful with very charming library-esque furnishing. The food, salad, drinks were all amazing with great portions, and service was also very good. Excited to come back

Excellent space, product, and staff. Great happy-hour deals and a strong beer selection. They're always brewing up new drinks, and their brewers are masters who routinely make excellent new drinks to try, which often are included in happy-hour. The rosemary-garlic fries especially are delicious and an ever-popular food. The bartenders are also friendly, patient, and knowledgeable, which makes the space feel more homey. They also distribute all over the city! They've been a fixture of Baltimore beer for more than 15 years at this point, and that position has been well-earned. I love this place. Also, I'd swear that Resurrection was a different style of beer when it first hit the market compared to what it's being marketed as now, but no one else I've spoken to feels this way...

Delightful high-ceiling, wood paneling and marble-hearth vibe and proper thick red tablecloth and attentive but not chatty quick service from the curly haired young man: shared the fat salmon fish cakes with wonderfully lightly charred carrots, on a mashed potato bed and for her chicken jaeger schnitzel and creamy mushrooms on Brussels sprouts. A+ Saturday night at the Brewer's Art. Thanks ! And did I mention the cool art books on the mantle? 💋 Ned from station north books
Ned S — Google review
Excellent beer and tasty food served by very nice people. There are at least three different spaces here. The first, as you come in off the street is the bar. The next is a darker dining room (wasn't open when we rolled in at 4) and downstairs is a casual space. We didn't make it downstairs but we will next time. Their beers on tap are all top notch with the Resurrection (Belgian brown) and the dark lager standing out. We had a burger (monstrous in size, prepared as specified and juicy) with fries and schnitzel bites (crispy and served with a delicious aioli) to eat with our drinks and they were delicious. Based on the preparation, I bet the full menu is delicious. There is a very generous happy hour here where the drafts are reduced price and there are small bites and reduced price food items. We can't wait to come back!

Really great drinks, food, and service! Love the black saison.

I stepped in to try their beers and was surprised to find table clothes on one side and a bar across a hallway. 4 stars until I go back and do more "research"

Diamondback Brewing Company in Locust Point is a trendy brewery and taproom that offers a laid-back atmosphere and eight taps of craft beer. Known for its balanced and flavorful brews, this contemporary brewery embraces innovation in its brewing techniques. The friendly staff, stylish taproom, and consistently exceptional brews make it a must-visit spot on Baltimore's craft beer trail.
Great beer, Carb is well dialed and not harsh like most places these days. Pizza is some of the best I've ever had. Nice bright and flavorful sauce, somehow the acidity is mellowed, crust is perfect. Staff is on point, facility is well-appointed for what it is, and very clean. Trivia was also amazing, well hosted and actually varied.

Fresh delicious pizza. With extremely fast efficient service. The vibe is laid back and funky. There is a large outdoor seating area, with suffient cozy hightop seating inside. We'll definitely be back.
T S — Google review
Great pizza, beer and service! Appreciate the staff turning on the outdoor heaters for us. We tried the Jersey pizza and Margarita pizza with pepperoni and jalapeños as add-ons (extra charge). Our beer of choices were the Lager and their Peach Cobbler Sour. Everything was great.
S. F — Google review
The place was nice. A little hard to find though. The beer was good, not great. The food options are limited pretty much to pizza and salad. The pizza was decent but nothing to write home about the salad in my opinion was better. I also heard you can order pepperoni pizza which is not on the menu.
Afm A — Google review
Diamondback Beer is one of my favorite spots in Locust Point! The atmosphere is always welcoming, the team is friendly, and the beer selection never disappoints, there’s truly something for everyone. I love that it’s not just a brewery, but also a great place to gather with friends or meet new people in the community. Their space has such a relaxed, neighborhood feel, and it’s one of the local gems I’m always proud to recommend to clients moving into the area. 🍻✨ — Ali Hudler, Hudler Homes

The staff is lovely. The beer is very good and different selections rotate in fairly often. Their pizza crust has perfect chew and the Jersey pie (in house vodka sauce) with meatballs IMO is to die for. The salad is also great. One of my fav breweries in Baltimore.
M H — Google review
Pittsburgh native in Baltimore for the first time. We stopped into James Joyce, a Irish pub in downtown. I ordered the Green Machine IPA. Gotta say, one of the best hazy IPA's I ever had. If this beer is any testimonial to the rest Diamondback has to offer, you are in for a real treat! As a fellow craft Brewer, this brewery hits the mark. You won't be disappointed.
Ed P — Google review
This is a quaint little Brewery sandwiched in between a bunch of condos. The highlight here is their pizza, which is handmade and has excellent crust. There are also a variety of interesting toppings you can have. What disappointed me about the Brewery was their beer. I found all four kinds of the beer I tried were below average. They also did not do flights, so you have to buy a half pour (8 ounces). Some of their beers they do not even offer half pours, and they force you to buy a full pint. Overall, it's a nice atmosphere inside with excellent pizza, but measure your expectations before trying the beer.

Peabody Heights Brewery is a popular spot in the Abell neighborhood at Historic Old Oriole Park, offering a diverse lineup of craft beers including dark lagers and hazy IPAs with unique flavors. The brewery provides indoor and outdoor seating options, making it an ideal place to relax with friends or family. Its patio is open year-round, and the brewery hosts various community events such as trivia nights and record bazaars.
My favorite brewery / place to hang out in the city! Great beer, great vibes, wonderful staff! I love how much of a community space it is – Peabody really supports and elevates other Baltimore small businesses and makers. There are fun events, live music, and of course, the arcade games! You can bring your own food or games/activities, and my dog loves that she gets to come (and gets a treat at the bar)! I also love the outside space in the warmer months. There is always something for everyone. It is a perfect spot for everything from birthday celebrations to a casual happy hour. So grateful to have such a fun and reliably fun spot in the neighborhood. <3

Great beer great times! They have a great mix of spaces where they have a traditional tasting room, outside beer garden, pinball room, and best of all huge arcade room! They have pay and play with old school and new cabinets. this is a welcoming place that has a space for everyone.
Kapil B — Google review
My boyfriend and I visited Peabody Heights Brewery for the first time and had a great time. We loved the variety of beer on tap (cherry basil and grape gatorade) and the food truck on site was delicious. We couldn't leave without playing a few of the vintage pinball machines. Definitely recommend this brewery!
Stacy S — Google review
Solid spot. Bartenders are friendly and helpful. Finally checked this spot out at booktoberfest. Helped support "thebookthing" while experiencing this gem. Great beer and selection. Food truck was good but might take 30+ minutes just FYI. More time to experience their arcade, live music, baseball flair and great beer. I'll be back.
Jeremy B — Google review
You can really find your community here. Peabody offers such a wide range of events like: book festivals, trivia, plant or clothing swaps, record bazaars, live music. We once watched a Shakespeare play on the back patio. We’ve met and made so many friends here that we run into someone we know every time we visit. Kid friendly. Can order in or bring in your own food. Arcades, a free room and a payment required room. Their West Coast IPAs are my personal favorite. The location is fantastic, right in Charles Village, free parking, or plenty of street parking availability. The employees and owners are always wonderful and friendly.
Megan L — Google review
Love, love, love this place. The bartenders actually get to know you, go to great lengths to accommodate all your beer needs. Aiden and Sid are spectacular and just want to create a super rad experience. Can’t say anything better about the spot.
Megan H — Google review
They have a great variation on tap and everything tastes great. My partner is a big fan of their seltzers as well. The arcade in the back is a favorite spot to spend a chill afternoon and their events calendar is always packed with some of my favorite events in the city. Been a longtime supporter and lover of this place and really appreciate the way they engage with the community.
Liz P — Google review
Even though I never had an issue until tonight I will never support y'all again. I have came to countless events over 15 years, which at this point was a complete waste of time. Well the 5 foot woman with short black hair and a green streak was completely horrible. One of my friend's was vending earlier and I came from PA to check if she was still there. I didn't see her so I sat facing the bar, reading beers. I am sure she and the other lady with orange hair saw me. I was like 'oh the Japanese rice beer' sounds good but I am not sure if I want a 16 oz. I walked up and waited to be helped. I asked to try it. There was one couple behind me and the other lady helped them. I walked down to the pour area following her and she walked back to the register ignoring me. I asked if they fill growlers she said no. I was going to ask about the pop up and the band at 8 but she acted like I was bothering her. I was like whatever as soon as I came back to the register, she said 'it's like you are trying beers are you going to get something.' I barely sipped the Japanese rice beer and placed the glass on the counter. I walked out. I guess it does matter how you are dressed and look otherwise you will judged as someone not able to afford 10 beer. I guess an ACDC shirt and torn jeans don't cut it 🙄 I should not feel unwelcomed nor disrespected in a 'diverse' neighborhood. There is no excuse, individuals like her only have 'attitudes' when it's a solo carefree woman. If the guy with shoulder length hair helped me I'm sure I could have asked questions, enjoyed the 1 sip and opened a tap like I usually do with other beers on the list. Oh well, there are other breweries.

Nestled in the vibrant Pigtown neighborhood of Baltimore, Mystique Barrel Brewing and Lager House is a gem that embodies community spirit and innovative brewing. This small brewery stands out for its unique mixed culture fermentation ales, including sour Brett ales co-fermented with wine grapes and lambic-inspired brews crafted with aged hops. As a minority- and woman-owned establishment, Mystique Barrel Brewing prioritizes vegan practices while embracing environmentally-friendly methods.
I've lived a quarter of a mile away from this place since they opened and have never been until a few days ago. Amazing pierogies and now they have loaded pierogies with corned beef, Monterey & Colby Jack cheese, sauerkraut and sour cream & chives!! Great selection of beer and their hard seltzers are amazing as well. If you're looking for an affordable spot that has great food and a great atmosphere then look no further. 10/10 spot, drive out of your way to go here!

Great selection of beers including a fine flemish red, a Marzen and a couple of tasty IPAs. There's a great food selection too. My rueben was thick and cheesy. The barkeep is cheerful and friendly. What more to ask?
Carl Y — Google review
Nice brewery in the Pigtown neighborhood of Baltimore. The beers were great, lots of different styles on tap- IPAs, a Belgian double, a few stouts, a Flanders Red, a lager, etc. My favorite was the Erised Flanders Red Ale. At 8.5%, it had the perfect balance of sour, flavor, and boziness. The food was also solid- they have a small kitchen with a pickup window. The Bratwurst was spot on and the Pretzel sticks were buttery with a soft crunch. The server was friendly, as were the patrons. Definitely make a brewery tour though Baltimore if you are in town, and be sure Mystique is on your list.
M B — Google review
We stopped in here and we're really impressed with the types of beer they had on the menu. We also were surprised to see they have a kitchen in house and I though the food we had was pretty good as well. Our bartender was super nice and we appreciated talking with her during our visit. I look forward to seeing their next beer release.
Jeff W — Google review
Came in for a beer release. Nice assortment of brews, including some served at Camden Yards. Small and cozy.

A wonderful spot in the heart of Baltimore‘s pigtown area. Been visiting from Germany and the atmosphere was absolutely welcoming, all people friendly and the beer a blast! Actually went there twice as they also took part in a streetfair. The interior is very cool as well with a beautiful mural.

Went here recently and had the Reuben sandwich, and it’s without a doubt the best one I’ve had in quite some time. It’s was moist, yet crispy and full of flavor! I can tell that the cook puts care/pride into their work, and I will be coming back again!
Joshua C — Google review
A group of us walked out of this place yesterday due to it's false advertising. It has a sign in the window, free pint of beer in exchange for signing up on it's QR code. We come in hungry from the Ravens game and tired from fighting traffic. The place is empty - maybe 3 patrons, none of which have food. So after confirming with the bar that their kitchen is open, I'm the first of my group to go up and order - a plate of wings and then for my free beer I'd like...to which the bartender, Javier, responds "it's buy one beer, get one free". I reply, "it doesn't say that. It just says free pint - in exchange for signing up with the QR code". I show him the email received as a result of having given away my information. He goes on to say that his boss told him that it's buy one, get one and he's not gonna give away his boss' beer etc etc (none of which sounded customer service oriented, so I began to drown out ). He says he can call his boss to ask him, so I say "sure, please do" and go back to my seat to wait. A while passes that we don't hear from him so I go back up to the bar to ask, what'd your boss say? He responds that he's still waiting for a response, showing me his phone that he'd texted him. At that point we're done and tell him that we're gonna go ahead and go somewhere else. It was just based on principle that we left and a rookie mistake that he let a table full of food purchases walk out over not wanting to honor their own promotion for a measly beer.

Pratt Street Ale House, located on Pratt Street in Baltimore, is home to Oliver's Breweries. This old brick taproom has been serving English-style ales since 1993. The brewery offers a variety of popular options such as the 3 Lions English strong ale, Bishops Breakfast oatmeal stout, and Draft Punk English-style IPA. Recently, the brewery announced a rebranding and the opening of a new standalone location with a tasting room to expand its offerings.
We started our visit to Baltimore by trying this bar/restaurant for lunch and it was such a good choice! Our food was fresh, hot, tasty and plenty filling before we first night at the music festival. There are plenty of local and regional craft beers along with daily drink specials and the menu stayed along the lines of expected bar snacks like pretzels and burgers, but there are also plenty of more upscale full dinners if you wish to go that direction. There's a dark, calm atmosphere accentuated by classic architecture and rich woodwork. Definitely a place to be after work or a weekend date night! Cheers!

My mom and I loved eating here. We came to Baltimore to see a concert, and it was close to our hotel. The location was nice, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We ate there two days in a row. The service was amazing and the food was delicious. They have plenty of options and as someone with a bunch of food allergies, it was nice to see. Our server Jazz was friendly, and she made the whole dining experience more comfortable. I'll definitely eat here, next time I'm in Baltimore.
Chelsea M — Google review
I stopped by Pratt Street Alehouse and tried their Baked Soft Pretzels, which come with a side of beer cheese and the house mustard. The pretzels themselves were soft, fluffy, and generously sized—perfect for those who love a more doughy texture. If you’re someone who prefers a crisp or crunchy exterior, these might not hit the mark, but for me, they were a win. The house mustard was a standout—bold, flavorful, and one of the better pub mustards I’ve had. The beer cheese, on the other hand, was a bit underwhelming. It had a runny consistency and lacked the richness you’d expect, making it feel like more of an afterthought than a highlight. The dish includes two pretzels for $16.99, which felt fair given their size and the downtown location. One important note: a 20% automatic tip is added to every bill regardless of party size or order total. While that might catch some off guard, the service was friendly and efficient, and the space was clean and well-maintained. The atmosphere was lively. There are plenty of TVs and a lively crowd that are invested in the live sports events, which gives you the feeling of experiencing something together. Whether you’re a die-hard fan or just along for the ride, the energy is contagious.

Cool atmosphere, food was so so, service was adequate. I thought the crab dip sounded good, so I got that as my entree. It was ok, but pretty mediocre. Got a dessert to go. Also, very mediocre for the price of $10. Overall, didn't feel I got a very good meal considering I spent almost $50 with tip.
Brian H — Google review
The wings and fries were hot and delicious, we got the mild wings but they had a pretty good heat to them. They had a large selection of beers and mixed drinks to choose from. The bartender was great, with great insight on the area, quick to refill your drink, offered great options for different drinks and just enjoyable to talk with. I highly recommend the Oliver brewing beers.
Corey A — Google review
I am in town for a conference with some colleagues and we stopped here after registering. It was surprisingly decent. I had the Chesapeake Chicken, my colleagues had the salmon salad, the salmon dinner, and the chicken pasta - no complaints. We also had the crab dip which was also pretty good. For a quick bite to satisfy after a day of traveling, this did the trick. Waitress was great!
Shaun M — Google review
I went there after the ‘Ironman’ bobblehead game, with my friend. The food was 🧑‍🍳😘spectacular… Caesar salad was a Caesar salad. The Brussels sprouts were divine…. But that crab dip. Oh. My. Gawd!! <droooooool> worth every calorie!! BUT…our waiter, Cam, was the best freaking part of it all. We sat there as it started raining (lightly, but definitely got stronger) and he was willing to play along with our crazy. 10/10, no notes, stellar guy! I live in another time zone, but I have enjoyed evenings here before, and will most definitely do so again.

We pass this place all the time going to Pickles and that whole scene before Orioles game. We finally decided to give it a shot, and im glad we did. Crab cake dinner was delicious, burger was cooked perfectly and tasted great, great price on local beers, blocks from Orioles Park at Camden Yards. This is now our go-to before O's games.

What started as a home-brew shop has now transformed into a full brewery, restaurant, and bar all in one location on a bustling Hampden thoroughfare. The interior features plenty of brick and large openings at the front, creating an inviting atmosphere. While there's no QR ordering available, the friendly staff and packed ambiance make for an enjoyable experience.
the amazing amount of vegan options caught our eye first! and as much as we would love to eat in our doggy was with us. so we got carry out, and it was all wonderfully prepared and packed. traveled soooo well was still nice and hot when we got home! amazing food amazing sauces

It should not even have the word cheesesteak in its name. It's more like a Korean sandwich that happens to have steak on it. It was good but a little on the salty side. The fries were great. I went on a Sunday afternoon, and the place was packed. I did manage to get one ot the last tables in the back corner! I was also surprised that the Coca-Cola was $4 per can.

Vegan burger and nacho fries, hits every time. So many options and rotating new choices. Everyone is nice, even the chefs coming out from the back! Fun spot for activities and watching games. Vegan NACHO CEESE. Ciders and drinks for my fellow GF people. Sometimes super busy.

Absolutely incredible food. Unbelievable how good it is. The beer is fantastic, but I've never seen a brewery with better food. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars.

Really enjoyed being here! The vibes were great (a little odd that 2/3+ of the tables were reserved, though). Relaxed and fun. Bartenders were super nice. Beer was fantastic. Food was great (we just tried the fries with the sauce flight). Lots of vegan options. I'll come back to try "real" food options and some of their cocktails/mocktails that looked great.

This is one of our favorite breweries in the area. The boneless wings and other food are delicious. The beer, especially Space Jellyfish, are top notch. We’ve quit drinking the last year and even their NA options are decent. The menu constantly changes too so it’s always fun to go and try new stuff. I’d say this is the best brewery in the area with the quality food and beer selection.

I got the Fall salad (sm vegan $14). It was OK. I tried the tofu wings, they were OK. I like the vegan options.

One of my favorite Baltimore Breweries! Their kitchen has so many amazing limited time specials and I highly recommend checking them out! Space jellyfish is my go-to IPA choice but you can’t go wrong with any beer choice!

Max's Taphouse is a popular local pub in Baltimore, Maryland, offering an extensive selection of over 100 rotating drafts and 2,000 bottled beers. The establishment features three separate bars, billiards, and TV for a classic beer experience. Despite its traditional ambiance, Max's Taphouse stays cutting-edge by introducing new beers weekly. It is known for its friendly and knowledgeable staff as well as daily beer specials.
Max’s Taphouse, you did your big one with your buffalo wings! They a flavorful, crispy and have a smokey hint at the end. These are the most flavorful wings that I have had in a WHILE! Don’t change a thing & I will definitely be back for 2 orders the next time! If you haven’t had their wings, I feel like saying “you’re missing out” is an understatement.

Stopped by on a Tuesday around lunch to have a beer and decided to get some food as well. We had the barnyard burger and damn was it good. So so messy but very good. Burger patty, pulled pork and bacon with cheese and some kinda sauce. I bet this place is really hoping on a Saturday night. The bartender was really friendly.

Gotta give this place 5 stars. Visiting Balti for a boys trip, we wanted a sports bar for a good Sunday fun day and very happy we chose this spot. The whole atmosphere was fun and everyone was geared up for football. The beer selection here is insane, SO many top-tier selections. Food was great as well, we ordered a ton but the two unanimous favorites were the wings (5 stars, must try) and the barnyard burger 🔥🔥🔥. Everything else was decent, although the pit beef sandwich was mediocre, only thing we weren't crazy about/ disliked. The service here was great too; the staff walking around bussing the tables was 11/10 working full throttle.. full bar and not a single empty glass sat on our table for more than 2 minutes without being cleared off (please give this guy a raise -- we were there 9/21 afternoon). I explored the entire Fell St area in my inebriated state in order to scope the scene for a possible bar swap mid day just to switch it up, but after poking around in every single establisbment in the area I didnt feel that anything out-matched Max's. We stayed here all day and didn't regret it.

A fantastic spot to catch a game while enjoying an incredible selection of beers on tap—over 100 varieties to choose from! The atmosphere is lively, the screens are everywhere, and there’s something on draft for every taste.

I'm a Philly guy but I find myself in Baltimore a dozen times a year or so for work or fun and discovered this place just the past few years. Great local, neighborhood bar. This is the type of place we love in Philly - good selection of drinks, stomach filling, good food at reasonable prices and a friendly atmosphere and a clean establishment. Kudos to the owners for keeping that old school, classic bar vibe!

We stumbled on Max's while wondering around Fells Point (during the day) with our 3 year old. It was such a cool atmosphere! Loved the Halloween Decorations and the owner was so so nice! He went out of his way to make our experience awesome! Great beer selection and super friendly staff! Highly recommend!!

Dropped into MAX’s after a 30 year absence on a Thursday afternoon with two friends. It was just like old times! Great beer! 114 beers on draught! Whoa! Good clean fun! Great service by “Jason” our bartender. A wonderful stop on our trip to Fells Point!

I was visiting Baltimore from New York for a wedding and decided to stop by this bar for karaoke night on Saturday. Unfortunately, the experience was really disappointing. When I went up to request a song, the karaoke host was extremely rude — she literally told me to “back up” for no reason. As a paying guest, that felt unprofessional, rude, and honestly biased. I’ve been to plenty of karaoke spots, and I’ve never been treated like that. It completely ruined the vibe, and I ended up cutting my visit short. I definitely won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend coming here on a Saturday for karaoke night. There are plenty of places with better energy and staff who actually respect their customers.

Guinness Open Gate Brewery is a modern complex located just outside of Baltimore, featuring a taproom, biergarten, restaurant, guided tours, and a brand store. This brewery marks Guinness's first U.S. brewery in over 60 years and offers experimental beers brewed on-site in Maryland. The facility also features collaborations with CaNe collective to create unique beverages like the Beer-mosa and Blonde Michelada.
We did the history and tasting tour. It was very well done and informative. Our guide, Pip, was awesome. Made the tour fun, and they were very personable and knowledgeable. We then enjoyed dinner at the Taproom, which had delicious food and attentive service.

Pretty good lunch here! Not a beer drinker unfortunately, so my primary comment is on the crab cake sandwich I had which was good. They gave a lot of crab which I appreciated and the fries and coleslaw were tasty too. I did try a taste of my friend’s Guinness which I thought was good. Would recommend and they offer tours!

I was a bit disappointed here. It was very cold, corporate like and the staff were not very warm or inviting. They seemed more annoyed than anything. I guess we interrupted their personal conversations. The drinks were great however. The gift shop was adequate. I guess I expected too much. Looks like a decent place to throw a party. Definitely big, but lacks warmth and charm.

Great facility with many options! Indoor or outdoor seating; comfy barstool at the large rectangular bar or chair at a table; high table or regular height; picnic table or cozy patio around a fire pit. You choose and this isn't even all the options available... The menu offers a good selection of various cultural- and American-style foods as appetizers, entrees, etc. The beer is really excellent -- staff was happy to guide you to your best personal taste in beers and let you sample to see what appeals most. There is a gift shop with cool momentos and select your own four-pack, or fill a growler or large can with your favorite. Tours are also available. Our food was tasty and arrived quickly after our order was placed.
NANCY T — Google review
This place is one of my favorite places in the greater Baltimore area. The brewery is huge, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Whether you’re sitting at the bar for a pint and a snack or sitting down at a table for a meal, you’ll have a great time. The interior is your classic industrial brewery with a bunch of fun Guinness signs and memorabilia. It seemed like there were tons of staff working so our food and drinks arrived quickly. If you sit inside in the taproom they have $40 for 4 sliders and 4 pints of Guinness Draught which is a great deal if you’re visiting with a couple friends! It’s conveniently located right off of Route 1, it sits by itself but it’s easy enough to hop right onto the highway and head into the city or over to another town. They seem to have a variety of fun events throughout the year whether it’s trivia night, football Sunday, Oktoberfest, etc, you name it. They also have several different brewery tours that run most days of the week. Definitely worth a visit!

Guinness Open Gate Baltimore is Disney World for beer drinkers! We visited last year for the first time and couldn't wait to visit again. This trip was planned specifically to take the History Tour & tasting. Pip was a fantastic tour guide! They made it informative & entertaining. The entire experience was everything we hoped for & more. The variety of beer & food is wonderful. Get the Smith Island Cake. Seriously, Best. Cake. Ever.

My daughters (10 and 12) and I came here for lunch after dropping my wife off for a flight at BWI (it's just 7 minutes from BWI). So is this place family friendly…Yes. There were families there with kids of varying ages. There is the Beer Garden which is a large outdoor area with picnic tables and umbrellas and the Taproom that is indoor. The Beer Garden and the Taproom have different menus with the Beer Garden being the more limited of the two. Since it was a beautiful day we ate in the Beer Garden. The area was also pet friendly as we saw two families with dogs. You scan the barcode at your table, place your order and they bring the food to your table. The staff there were great. My oldest had the Chicken Tenders + Fries and my youngest and I had the Beer Garden Burger. The portions were a little on the large side for the girls (they don't have a kids menu). Though they enjoyed it they could not finish their food. My burger was really good and I had a little sample of the tenders and they were good also. They have a huge selection of beers but since I was driving I had to stick to lemonade. I had the Guava Tiki Lemonade and my youngest had the Southside lemonade (lime and mint). Inside a dining area (where they serve the Tap Room menu), bar area and gift shop. It's laid out very nicely with lots of Guinness historical info. Overall it was a great experience and I definitely want to go back when I am not the designated driver.

The minimalist space offers a lively ambiance, making it perfect for enjoying house-made fireball shots with a hot chicken sandwich or sampling their unique brews. Named after Maryland's defiance of alcohol restrictions during Prohibition, this Mount Vernon brewery boasts a colorful array of beers and sours, along with a full cocktail menu.
Great spot. Went on burger night and got the Oklahoma for $3 off, burger and fries were both great. Service was good. Beers were above average. A little too dark inside for me but it’s a vibe.

Finally deciding to review this place after coming here for over 6 or 7 years. Great finger/bar food (especially their wings) and occasionally other exquisite food items like fresh fried fish, etc. Awesome beer and always attracting the greatest folks in Baltimore. Love coming here.

Wet city has some of my favorite beer in the world. Their “Making out with” series is the greatest thing my mouth has landed on beer wise. Also the service here is incredible, the guys behind the bar are so nice and attentive. This was a truly 10/10 experience. I first came here about 2.5 years ago and had a “Making out with Mango” that was the best I’ve ever had, and this place has been in my mind since then and I finally made it back.

This place is the best of the best - great beer list, fun cocktails that don’t take themselves too seriously, and of course amazing food. I’ve been happy with everything I’ve tried from here but the no temp burger and hot chicken are the two bites I always come back to Also, service is always on point.

Wet City knows how to throw a party! 🎷✨ The hospitality was top-tier, and the New Orleans-themed menu for their Vieux Carré Party did not disappoint! Started with a Sazerac and Hurricane—both perfectly crafted. The Viet-Cajun Shrimp Po’Boy was bursting with flavor, and Monroe Hill’s hot sauce took it to another level. With the other NOLA bites sold out, I called an audible and went for the Fried Enoki Mushrooms and deep-fried mega stuffed Oreos—crispy, gooey perfection. Add in live jazz with the Max Jacobs Duo and this was a night to remember. Can’t wait to come back!

I was in town for work and looked up a bunch of breweries open on a Monday. I visited this spot and was instantly greeted. I was told about the $12 burger and $3 dry hopped series beer special! I sat at the bar and was recommended several sounds that were incredible! Exceptional service and cool aesthetic. The buyer was great as well. I forgot to get a copy of the check to get reimbursed through my work and Scott Jones promptly helped me get a copy.

Full Tilt Brewing, founded in 2008 by cousins Nick Fertig and Dan Baumiller, is located within the industrial space of the Accelerator building in North Baltimore. The brewery's colorful murals pay homage to its mascot, Hops the Cat. Inspired by Baltimore's eccentricities, Full Tilt crafts a variety of beers including their popular IPA named after their mascot. The brewery offers a diverse selection of house beers and great food for visitors to enjoy.
My fiance and I stopped in on a whim on a beautiful day and were delighted by our experience. The building is well designed, the staff were really attentive, we enjoyed the beers, and we had some fun playing their many games. On nice days they have the ability to open the front garage doors which is a rarity in Baltimore so that was a nice touch as well. While there they had a pop up from Tavola for food which is good because every brewery needs some snacks. They also have a cool feature on there digital tap board that tells you how much is left in each keg. We'll be back!

Stopped in while checking out a few places in Baltimore. The inside of the brewery is very cool! Great wall art and lots of space. The staff were very friendly. We got flights and tried 8 things overall. The IPAs were rather pedestrian but the sours were really good. The watermelon candy sour in particular really tastes that way. We ordered food as well. It was decent overall. It's worth stopping in.

Fun place, great service, good beer selection and limited cocktails. There for trivia night on Tuesday with Charm City Trivia. The food is eclectic, I recommend the Dino Nuggies, tatter tots, and cauliflower - spicy. Cool place, parking easy on a weekday, stop for a beer.

We recently attended an engagement party here in Sept for my bro in law. The place is super cute and if you love brews then I would recommend checking this place out. They have those glass garage doors so they opened it all the up so it's ventilated well if you're worried about Covid. The only issue was the parking. It would have been hard to find parking but luckily the party had parking provided for us.

Great beer and fun environment. I got a flight and really enjoyed all the beers I got, especially the raspberry wheat and the cream ale. There are fun arcade games like skeeball and pinball you can play while having a drink. They don’t serve food but there was a food truck outside when we went on a Friday evening.

What can I say about Full Tilt Brewing? They are amazing. We had our wedding reception with them, and it was honestly beyond fun. George and his staff were professional and attentive, going above and beyond to make our day go smooth! They have plenty of house beer to satisfy every palette, and the food is great for satisfying you after a few pints. We only had to do minor adjustments for our reception but they were with us every step of the way. If you are having a function, give them a call! You won’t regret it!

We've loved this place ever since the first time we opened the door. The bar is MAGNIFICENT! A classic beauty in a warm and inviting atmosphere. Lots of nice sitting spaces and charming appointments. Low music and style fit the couples and friends that gather. The staff is supremely engaging, warm and inviting of you to their place. Great cocktails and excellent craft beers on tap. We started with fried green tomatoes this night and they were awesome. Tried the Alabama Slamma Chicken - something I've never seen on another MD menu - and it was delicious. We always have a great visit here. Thank you oLaR!

While the initial impression of thia restaurant's first floor was less than ideal, the upstairs revealed a pleasant surprise. The dimly lit and musty ground floor was a stark contrast to the beautifully appointed second floor. The food was commendable, making it a great choice for our team's happy hour. The atmosphere upstairs was inviting and perfect for socializing. It's clear why the restaurant was recommended by someone who had previously dined there. There is Parking available for $1/hr opposite to the restaurant. I have a pic posted in my review.

Everyone likes this place and sorry but I don’t get it. It’s fine? We sat outside and the waiter seemed to forget about us a couple of times. He also forgot our orders and had to check again. Then, they didn’t have the side I ordered so he brought a different one out and asked if that was okay as it was already prepared in his hand. Idk. The drink was fine and food was fine.

Loved the ambiance, the food and the drinks. This isn’t a place to bring the kids which I was grateful for. Had a girls night and sat at the bar which in itself was a nice production with the bartender making the different drinks. I got the Nice Spice which I loved due to the spiciness but it also was smooth. The bulgogi lettuce wraps and spicy shrimp were good. I ordered the Cowboy burger and the brown sugar coat on the burger with the egg and onions was chefs kiss! The fries were good as well. Make sure to ask about the homemade hot sauce, they have 3 kinds and the pineapple based one was my favorite. This is definitely going to be a repeat spot with friends.

Phenomenal!! This is my new favorite place in Baltimore! My friends took me here for my birthday, yesterday. Everything on the menu looked amazing, so we ordered nearly every appetizer and a couple of entrees to split. First, the drinks. Wonderful cocktail menu. The drinks are crafted by the owner herself and you can tell how much she loves her job. Even the plain dirty martinis we ordered felt like they received just as much attention and effort as the house offerings. Next, the food! Everything was SO good! Way, way beyond our expectations. I particularly recommend the chicken bulgogi lettuce wraps and the pad Thai. Finally, service and atmosphere. We were hosted by Sarah, who hasn't been there long, but did a wonderful job taking care of us. She was attentive, bubbly, and patiently answered all of our questions. The space itself is very welcoming and comfortable, with lovely interior design. We can't wait to come back! Thank you!

Food was great and atmosphere really nice. They were very busy on the Saturday night we went so service wasn't 100% but no problem. The starters (beet salad and mushroom escargot we're delicious as was the bread pudding dessert). A bit too much sauce on the pad Thai for my liking but the scampi was great! Whiskey cocktails were excellent! Nice place for a fancy night out!

Charm City Meadworks is a relaxed brewhouse located in Baltimore's Johnston Square neighborhood, offering locally-crafted mead, cider, and wine. The spot provides a break from traditional hoppy brews with its delicately crafted meads, including traditional still mead. Visitors can enjoy flavors like basil lemongrass and elderberry while soaking up the great atmosphere and playing board games or corn hole both inside and outside.
We showed up for trivia night and had a great time trying draft mead including a very dry basil lemongrass (delicate flavors) and a full on black currant (Currant Affairs) that reminded me of drinking Ribena as a child, They allow food from other places and have pizza on site. The large, open warehouse and artistic touches of bees adds to the bright and cherry atmosphere.

I didn’t get a chance to eat due to the service. There seemed to be only one waitress serving all the guess & 2 cooks. If anyone else was on the clock working they were nowhere to be seen. Due to that I had to wait a few minutes. No one brought me a menu so I grabbed one off the counter. When the waitress arrived she was completely oblivious to the menu I already had in front of me. I finally got a chance to order some water. I saw another patron come in after me, who didn’t wait as long as me but I saw this waitress immediately serve him his beer before she served me my water. I got up and left. I don’t want to make it seem racial because I’m black & the patron was white; the waitress was some type of minority but it was the audacity of serving him first before me. She only had 15 minutes left on the clock that she verbally said out her mouth to the cooks so it seems she didn’t care at all. I wish I was able to order, I usually tip my servers their 20% of my bill. It’s was around 7ish so assuming her clock out time was 7:30pm on Saturday Nov. 1. I was truly upset in the disregard of service. I ended up going to the Harbor Grill and received great service and although my meal was discounted initiated by the bartender due to the wait, she still received the discounted price as her tip, DO BETTER FLYING DOG TAP HOUSE WAITRESS!!!!
Melinda S — Google review
Ate here for lunch with the family prior to our flight. The place was pretty empty when we sat at around 11am and service started off OK before trailing off as it got busier later. The food was pretty good but seemed pricier than it should, even by airport standards. The crab dip was small but tasty, and also needed more than 2 pretzel sticks with it. They had a kids menu but be aware that they don't have common kids' drinks like milk, chocolate milk, or apple juice. Our kids had to settle for lemonade and orange juice. My burger was ok but not great. The waffle fries were good and crispy. I'm glad we had plenty of time before our flight because the meal wasn't quick. It took a long time for our food to come out, and then also took a while to get the check and wait for the card to come back. We ended up using all of our buffer so it was time to board when we got to our gate. They need to add an option to order/pay at the table via QR code as many other airport restaurants do, but for now beware of trying to get a quick meal here if you have a flight soon.

The beers were great. The service was horrible. We wanted a bar seat but ended up getting sat a a table. Our server was slow and angry. We asked for waters twice and it never came. I went to the bar to get it and the bartender made me feel like I was interrupting her. I guess if we would have eaten we would have been treated differently. Great beers though.

Mahaffey's Pub is a friendly hangout located in historic Canton, offering a rotating selection of beers and pub fare. With over 400 members, the beer club provides variety for regulars. This dive bar features moderately priced beer, a modernized jukebox, and an unparalleled selection of import and microbrews. Happy hour specials are available every day until 7pm, with discounts on all drinks.
The tall bartender unnerves my cat. Other than that, this place is the tits. Need more Belgian beers tho.

Mahaffey’s Pub is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, you feel like a regular—even if it’s your first time. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between cozy neighborhood bar and vibrant hangout spot. The beer selection is top-notch, with an impressive rotation of local craft brews and hard-to-find favorites. The staff? Genuinely friendly, fast, and know their stuff. You can tell they love what they do. The food goes way beyond typical bar fare—everything is fresh, flavorful, and made with care. Whether you're popping in for a quick drink or settling in for a night out with friends, Mahaffey’s never disappoints. Easily one of the best spots in town. Can’t wait to come back!

This pub is fantastic! The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which makes the whole atmosphere warm and enjoyable. The service is truly top-notch — everything was fast, professional, and with a smile. A great place to relax, have a drink, and feel taken care of. Highly recommend!

Jerk chicken sandwich with the rosemary garlic fries was so good. Great hospitality at this pub too.
SMOKIE410 — Google review
We’d give this establishment six stars if we could. This pub might have the most comprehensive beer list in Baltimore, boasting many unique bottled and draft beers. We liked the novelty that we could watch the cook prepare our grill order in front of us while we sat at the bar. We ordered the ribeye cheesesteak served with the rosemary garlic fries. The garlic aioli made a perfect complement to both the fries and cheesesteak. The sub roll tasted as though it had been baked the same day. Our only complaint was that the fries could have been portioned more generously. Nonetheless, we found the cheesesteak a good value for $15. Our bartenders were most attentive throughout our time at Mahaffey’s. Surprisingly, the owner, Dennis, was handling the grill at the time (he said he was short-handed). This place has a friendly, neighborly vibe (almost like Cheers Baltimore-style could be filmed here). Interestingly, Mahaffey’s even has a “100 beer club.”

Highly recommend their food. Got take out with the husband after a long day. Food was incredible, especially the fries! Hands down one of the best meals i have had in quite some time!!!

This is a legit hometown bar. The menu is limited but the Classic Beer Bratwurst was really good and the Other Half Stacks on Stacks Imperial IPA was fantastic! If you are hungry and/or thirsty in Canton looking for a hidden gem, this is one of a few.

Heavy Seas Alehouse is a rustic-chic venue located in a former tack factory, offering house-brewed beers and gastropub grub. The brewery's signature ales come in various flavors such as amber, gold, and citrus. The Powder Monkey pale ale is recommended for pairing with burgers and grilled favorites. All the taps feature the brewery's own beers, making it an ideal spot to enjoy Baltimore-brewed beer.
Food was delicious! The Brunch menu was fun with the loaded Tater tots. Wait staff was really friendly and checked on us frequently. My only complaint is that the eggs had zero salt or seasoning. They kinda tasted like nothing, but at least they were accompanied by deliciously seasoned tots. I mean those things were good. My husband had the same complaint about the eggs on the breakfast tacos.

Excellent, excellent, excellent! Fantastic gourmet bar food. Tons of locally brewed beers that are phenomenal! And amazing staff and atmosphere. This place is a 10/10, five star, two thumbs up place. The only thing I’m mad about is that I didn’t go sooner. Go!
Kyle B — Google review
They have a great beer selection and I've always enjoyed them. Had a meal with my sister and it was just ok... Fried pickles were over cooked and the mussels were under seasoned and desperately needed finishing salt. The crab cake was huge so we split it but the bacon underneath it stole the show it was really good. If I go back it would be for beers and a lite snack.
Vincent T — Google review
Good food, good beer, and a "mostly-good" atmosphere. The staff was nice an the ambiance nice but unfortunately the outdoor seating area shares a space with the smoke shop nextdoor which means it gets very thick with acrid smoke as the night crowd moves in.
Jason P — Google review
Great beer with 6 year-round Heavy Seas taps, a handful of Heavy Seas seasonals, and then a handful of guest beers. The hotdogs are monstrous. So good. Thai chili wings are awesome too.
Graham P — Google review
The food was decent. My friend ordered a burger cooked medium and had to send it back because it was close to rare in the center. It came back in the same condition and they ended up not eating it at all.
Jack S — Google review
This place is top notch. Heavy Seas beer is great to start with. The food is awesome, great flavor and pairs with the beer well. The atmosphere is perfect. The service is helpful and nice. The one manager guy has come up to our table every time we've eaten here to personally ask how things were. Can't recommend enough.
Dalton S — Google review
The beer is great if you love hops, and the burgers were great at their burger spinoff in the casino, but my only instructions were "I'll have it cooked until no pink meat" and he said, "medium well", and the outside came out burnt rapidly to a crispy ash while the inside was still pink. The egg on top had slimy whites, too. Too bad it wasn't great like at the casino. Really nice staff, though. Great decor. And it closes permanently this weekend.

Racers' Cafe, located in Parkville, is a popular neighborhood hangout with a casual dive bar atmosphere. The cafe offers an impressive selection of 13 rotating drafts and an extensive bottle list featuring domestic craft breweries and rare imports. Under new ownership, the cafe has revitalized its offerings and now includes an expanded food menu serving standard pub grub. Additionally, Racers' Cafe features pinball machines for entertainment and hosts live music events.
I’d driven past this place just about every day for the last five years and finally decided to stop in one Saturday afternoon back in October and wished I hadn’t waited so long to try it out. I’ve been back several times since then. The food is good with many options. Drinks are reasonably priced. Service is good. Mr. B. is cool, he’s usually tending bar if I go in the afternoon. Skip, pm bartender Tuesday to Saturday, is awesome. It’s a nice space with a game room as well as a spacious outside area. It gets pretty crowded for the live music and Ravens games. I’m not one for crowds, but I’ll go for the Ravens games because they have an oyster bar. The oysters are good and the prices can’t be beat. Half dozen oysters for $4, $8 or $12! From the menu the cheesesteak and wings are my favorites. The mac and cheese is some of the best I’ve ever had. If you like beer this place is for you. Check the pics to see their wide array of options. There’s also a wine bar and of course the fully stocked main bar. It’s now my favorite local hangout.

This is how a neighbor bar/restaurant/venue and even liquor store and game room is done. Huge space, amazing backyard area/feel, huge menu with tons of options(all delicious), beer selection, cool staff…clean! At 9:40pm Tuesday, I ordered freshly made side of guacamole and delicious Southwestern egg rolls! Totally hit the spot! Thank you!! Keep doing this!! 👍😎👏👏👏

Just finished my husband's 50th birthday party at Racer's. We had it in the Wine Bar, and everything was just amazing! Chrissy was behind the bar and was great! She makes a mean Sangria, too. Oscar (chef) is wonderful. The lasagna and shrimp Alfredo were so delicious. The wings and pizza were simply amazing. Couldn't have asked for a better staff. I'd recommend having an event at Racer's Cafe anytime! Just call and ask for Biki. He'll make the event a breeze.

In late March we hosted a baby shower at Racer’s in the game room. We really had fun decorating and turning a room with a pool table into a shower setting. Food was a 5, service 4 and atmosphere a 3 until we made it a 5! Biki the owner was very attentive, as well as the chef and kitchen staff. An enjoyable time was had by all! Thanks Racers!

It's unfortunate that there isn't an option for 0 or negative stars. We were hopeful that the food was going to be amazing since there were such high reviews; however we didn't get to try it. When we walked in the guy at the bar looked at us like a high school mean girl looks at a nerd. We sat down and he approach the table and asked in these exact words "are you going to get something to drink" I kindly asked for water and my friend asked to have a moment to look at the menu not realizing there was no drink menu and instead of telling her that he just walked away. Five minutes later he passed our table and walked into the wine bar area. Another 5 minutes pass as he leans against the wine bar and talked to one of the other workers. He then proceeds to go past our table again not even acknowledging us sitting there, mind you we made it very obvious we were ready to order. For the fun of it, we decided to set a timer to see how long it would take for one of the three people working in a bar that was not super busy to acknowledge our existence...10 minutes passes with not a single person acknowledging our table, who are at this point staring down those behind the bar to acknowledge us. I honestly think I could have waved my arms like an idiot and still would have gone unacknowledged. At this point, we made the decision to look for other restaurants in the area and were able to find one, make a reservation, and even straighten up our table before exiting the building. What a disappointment for people who tip well and want nothing more than to support small businesses/restaurants in the area. Needless to say I am sad that I didn't get to try the food that looked so good and experience the same restaurant that other reviewers rave over.

This is a nice cosy bar and the bartender was super nice and friendly. The trivia on Thursday is fun but it’s mostly based on music and movies not much of general knowledge questions. The beers are great but sadly there’s no vegan options on the menu. Their website isn’t updated , the happy hour is from 3-6 and not 3-7 PM Monday- Friday and they no longer have the tacos or quesadillas on the menu.

Worst experience in quite some time. Note: we are here on New Year's Day so a little slack considered. Took over an hour for food too arrive. Wife's drink not made right. I asked for soup instead of fries but got fries. Burgers did not have correct condiments. I'm sitting here right now and there are 5 booths that have not been bussed after 30 minutes. My wife thinks they have been left that way on purpose to discourage folks from sitting. She's probably right. Stay away from this place.

On your second day in Baltimore, start with a hearty breakfast at Blue Moon Cafe or HandleBar Cafe. Then, head to Sagamore Spirit Distillery, the largest distillery in Baltimore known for its premium rye whiskey. The distillery offers tours of its 22,000-square-foot facility where you can learn about the history of Maryland rye whiskey and even taste some samples.
Literally the best experience I ever had!!! I did a private tour with Jake he is awesome. I learned so much information about rye whiskey and the history of Sagamore. All of their whiskeys are delicious, but my favorite was the 10 year and you also have to get the orange truffle chocolate OMG it’s so delicious. I’ll be stopping by next month to hit up there restaurant Rye Street Tavern. You have to stop in and try some of their signature cocktails. I didn’t get a chance to grab any food, but I’ll be back in October.!!!

I have been to the facilities a few times for Whiskey on the Waterfront but never have done a tour. I attended a Thursday tour with a friend visiting from out of town. The tour guide Andrew I believe was knowledgeable, energetic and accommodating. The tour was great and ending the tour with the tasting was nice. The group was small so it allot for intimate conversations. I wish there as a coupon given at the end to use in cute gift shop.

5 Stars – Amazing Experience at Sagamore Distillery! I had such a fantastic time on the Sagamore Distillery tour in Baltimore, and our guide, Lars Olsen, was incredible. He explained everything in detail and was so present with us that once I started asking questions, the whole group got really engaged. Even though time was running out, Lars stayed attentive to all our questions and even took pictures for us. The tasting portion was excellent. Lars guided us through each type of whiskey, explaining how it should be smelled, sipped, and appreciated. I learned so much that I’m seriously considering becoming a whiskey drinker! It’s perfect for someone like me who wants just a little taste and maximum enjoyment—definitely some grown and sexy vibes happening here. If you’re in Baltimore and want a tour that’s informative, interactive, and genuinely fun, I highly recommend Sagamore Distillery, and ask for Lars—he makes the experience unforgettable.

Went there for the first time for a wiskey/chocolate pairing and tour. We got there a little early so we checked in and went to the bar for some tastings and a drink before the tour. Zach made us a couple great drinks he was great. Then we took the tour and (I think her name was) Paige was very personable and informative. We went from the tour to the pairing and it was a really cool room for the event. There were 4 different whiskeys 🥃 paired with 4 different chocolates 🍫. Each were good but a couple of them were amazing. The only draw back was that I bought 3 different whiskeys on the way out 😃🤷🏼‍♂️👍. Great overall first experience.

My wife and I went on the Sagamore Spirit Distillery tour with the chocolate pairing, and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. It was so cool to see how this excellent Maryland Rye Whiskey is made and to learn about the process firsthand. It truly was a lost art. Plus, the facility itself is absolutely beautiful, especially with its stunning location right along the water. Sagamore Spirit is truly a Baltimore gem and we highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique and memorable outing in the city!

Sagamore Rye is one of the best, so when in Baltimore we had to do the tour and tasting. Great way to spend the afternoon. Great location to have appetizers and cocktails before and finish off with some whiskey tasting. Guide was wonderful. Restaurant
Dempsey's Brew Pub and Restaurant is a year-round tavern located in Camden Yards, Baltimore. It is named after an Orioles catcher and offers American cuisine along with various types of beer. The establishment caters to families, providing appetizers like bacon on a skewer, fresh pretzels, and warm crab dip for kids to enjoy while watching a Baltimore Orioles game. However, the main highlights of Dempsey's are their salads and burgers.
This is a good establishment. To me it is nice to break up some innings and come to this restaurant to enjoy a few drinks and a meal. The staff is friendly and there are a lot of TVs so you can keep watching and listening to the game. For an in-stadium restaurant, this place is good. The food won't be the best in Baltimore but it will be the best you can find in the stadium. I'll go back here again.
John M — Google review
We sat at the bar for about 25 minutes, without a bartender coming over to us. Granted it was super busy, however there were 3 or 4 groups of people that arrived after us, were served and left before the bartender even acknowledge our section of the bar. We were a group of 4, as well, and so it wasn't like we weren't noticable. The food, however, is delicious, so it still earns 4 stars overall.

We stopped in after a game on Memorial day and it was very good. The staff was extremely nice and cleaned off a table for us so we didn't have to wait long at all. The food was very good and beer was ice cold!!

My wife and I came to Dempsey’s to kill time before our 7:15pm game. We noticed for the first time there wasn’t much of a line going in. We sat at the bar and looked over the menu. The menu is literally only “about” a page long.It was mostly fries and starters. A LOT of good food was missing from the last time we came. We asked the bartender what happened to the rest of the menu items and he said the new owners of Dempsey’s changed things up. So we ordered some Chesapeake Fries, 2 beers and 2 specialty drinks when it was all said and done. The beers were fine, I ordered Guinness Blonde so not much to it. My wife ordered the specialty drinks and said they were pretty good. And lastly the Chesapeake fries were good if you like decent fries and runny crab sauce/dip. I will say when you get the fries you do get a good portion. When we got the check everything came to $80+!!!! Yea that is correct $80+!!! Do not come here if you want a decent meal, save your money and get an $8 hotdog. The 1 star is for being extremely overpriced, not having many menu options and while things are already overpriced at venues like these on game night, you feel completely ripped off going to Dempsey’s.
D S — Google review
This was such a disappointment. I wish I had read all the recent reviews before we wasted our money here. After an hour and a half drive and a losing 1st game of a doubleheader, we were ready to eat so we headed here for an early dinner since it's right inside the ballpark. The food selections are very limited, overpriced and tasteless. My husband said it's the worst cheesesteak and fries he's ever had. I got a Caesar salad to try to prevent too much disappointment but the croutons were stale and the salad is not worth the $9 they charge. And worst of all....NO CRAB CAKE SANDWICH on the menu. Plus, plastic utensils and watery soda. Save your money and head out to a real restaurant.
MaryBeth J — Google review
Nice beer list for those looking for something different. We went on a Sunday night, moderately busy due to the conference in town, and had issues with service. Our wait staff was friendly but one member in our party got served the incorrect order. The waitress apologized and returned it to the kitchen for a new plate, but nothing ever came back. We had to grab someone after roughly 20-30 minutes. Food did eventually arrive. Typical bar/pub. Dimly lit, wood finish, and a focus on drinks and social as opposed to food. Not to knock the food though. No one I was with complained.
Anthony M — Google review
Based on our experience this past Saturday 3 stars is somewhat generous. We put our names in and they sent us a test text message to reach us When our table was ready. We then told them we would be sitting in the bar. It was going to be a 45 minute wait and that was fine with us. About 40 minutes in I went to check and see where we were on the list and they told me that they were no longer allowed to use the text message system and that they had already called R name at the front door. I said but we were in the bar and she said the manager told her not to go in the bar. They eventually found us a table and the air conditioning was not working and there are no ceiling fans in the main dining Room. Once we were seated our server was actually fantastic and got our food and drinks very quickly. The food itself was very good. But there were no sides and I'm not sure if there were supposed to be or not at that point we were going to be late for the game. I am not sure if it is always like this however was very disappointing when we were told that a manager decided not to make sure that we could hear our name be called and not to use the text message system. I can't imagine why that would be the case.

This was my first time here. It was a quiet day as this restaurant is tied to Camden Yard and it is very cold. The food was very good and they have a wide selection of lunch items to pick from. Restaurant
La Cuchara is an elegant eatery in Baltimore, offering an intimate atmosphere and serving Basque cuisine such as pintxos and tapas. In response to current times, the restaurant has transformed into a virtual grocery store where customers can shop from home and pick up their items. The marketplace offers a variety of grocery options including vegetables, fresh herbs, cheeses, meat, pantry items, prepared foods, and a wide selection of alcohol for carryout.
Outstanding Meal! La Cuchara delivers top-notch Basque flavors. The mussels was perfectly cooked, and the sauce was absolutely fantastic — rich, flavorful, and balanced. Duck Magret was tender and juicy, with sides that elevated the whole dish. The lamb shoulder was smoky, juicy, and paired beautifully with the accompanying vegetables. Service was attentive without being overbearing, and the wine list was well-curated.
Daniel H — Google review
Even though the restaurant leans toward the fine dining/luxury side in pricing, the experience felt more like fast food. The waiters rush you to eat and leave, which completely takes away from any chance to enjoy the meal. It’s also too noisy to have a comfortable dinner. On top of that, a 22% tip was automatically added—not required, but definitely made to feel obligatory.
GONCA Y — Google review
La Cuchara is definitely worth a visit. Parking is directly out font and there were plenty of spaces on a Saturday evening. We made a reservation in advance, but they also gave a large bar area. The menu includes small bites, tapas, entrees, and tinned seafood options. Once seated, they give you a few slices of their fresh baked bread, and you can order a loaf to take home! We loved the onion and garlic bread. There is quite a lot to choose from on the main menu and they have a large wine list. We ordered the 12-month aged Jamon (to die for), the shrimp, oyster fritters, and lobster broth mushrooms. Our service was great- thanks to Amanda for some bread to take home after they ran out of the onion/garlic bread. Attentive service and friendly staff.

Don’t seem to recall how this made it to my hit list. I’m glad it was. Since we were not as hungry, we ordered small plates like croquetas, small empanadas, candy bar dessert, and fried oysters to share. The only disappointment was not having jamon iberico on the menu. Will certainly go again to try the wines and anything grilled. They have the grill I’ve seen in Spain. Service was attentive.
Mark B — Google review
I went to La Cuchara to celebrate my partner's birthday! The restaurant location is great, from being right next to the lightrail and also having parking. I think the ambiance is great and the paintings on display by Julia Gould are really nice. We had the marinated manchego (very unique, and we especially liked the pear sauce!). The croquettes are really good, but the jamon croquettes definitely do not need that sauce. The sauce is too bitter, but the croquettes are great. The spinach and gruyere was everything to write home about and really surprised me by being that delicious. The servers were SUPER attentive. The bread for the table was nice, I just wish it was toasted or semi-warm. Having cold bread does not allow for the butter to melt and that is not ideal for me. However, moving on to the tapas, the trout was excellent (I admired the roasted tomatoes), and the patatas bravas were as my friend put it a "bumper," but not a "banger." The seasoning was good, but it also had that bitter red sauce that the jamo croquettes had to. In the future, I would opt out of that sauce or ask for an alternate. The servers were also kind to point out anything we might not have known especially for our friend who was allergic to shellfish (please be aware that they fry seafood in the same oil, so that is a risk for anyone who is allergic) but they were phenomenal about communicating that with us and letting us know alternates that we could order or parts to remove. Overall, I really liked the lamb shoulder (so decadent!!! And yummy!!!) The mushrooms/morels were great too! I also really admired the earl grey tea pudding (?) That was so nice and really a unique type of sweetness. I got great vibes from the restaurant and would love to go again for another special occasion.

The Charmery is a family-owned ice cream shop with three locations, including their signature spot in Baltimore's Hampden neighborhood. They offer innovative and seasonal flavors made with locally sourced products. The shop is known for its sundae menu, hand-spun milkshakes, and scratch-made sodas. Customers often line up outside to savor unique flavors like speculoos and Old Bay Caramel, as well as classic treats such as root beer floats and hot fudge sundaes.
As expected, very delicious dessert treats!! We tried the lemon peppermint stick ice cream and it tastes exactly like the lemon peppermint stick treat on a hot summer Baltimore day. Hit em up. You won’t be disappointed!

This is a pretty popular place They had a couple of dairy-free options one of which is lemon lime sorbet and a coconut caramel swirl. I have to say the coconut caramel swirl with the absolute best vegan ice cream I have ever tasted! The chocolate ice cream Is a decent. Staff were friendly and nice.

Three ice cream's ran me about twenty-seven dollars. The chocolate ice cream was regular. The banana ice cream was delicious. Was expecting it to be better. But. Any case on to the next.

A cute ice cream shop with some unique flavors. The customer service was friendly and accommodating. I sampled quite a few flavors and I think the MANGO LIME HOT SAUCE SORBET, is a pleasant surprise. If you're not too adventurous, then COCONUT CHAI is perfection.

We’ve been coming here for 10 years. I miss the original chalkboards and the flavors. And ice cream. I still love the flavors, but today was really just a pitiful experience. We ordered kiddie scoops and single scoops. All were the same size. None of them cleared even the halfway mark on the tiny bowls. And the ice cream was mushy and running. The employees simply said “well those are full size scoops” and “in the summer sometimes the ice cream flavors are like that.” How far it’s fallen now that it’s grown. Really too bad. Stick with the pints if you go.

We recently visited The Charmery, and while it’s a charming spot with a fun atmosphere and incredibly friendly staff, the ice cream just wasn’t for me. I found the waffle cone a bit too thick for my taste, and the flavor options didn’t quite hit the mark for my palate. That said, the team working there was warm and welcoming, and the overall vibe of the place is really nice. It’s clear they put love into what they do, and I can see why others might enjoy it. This might be one of those places where you have to acquire the taste—so I’d still say give it a try for yourself. You might just find your new favorite scoop.
Cheryl C — Google review
Staff is always super friendly and works really hard! The Charmery is known for its unique flavors and fun spins on classics. I really enjoy their approach to ice cream as “dessert” or a treat! Their milkshakes are also great! Definitely stop by to smell the waffle cones and buy some of their fabulous flavors! They also note allergens and sensitivities like dairy or nuts in products (though they process it all in the same prep area).

Been coming to the charmery for years, the BEST ice cream shop in baltimore. Love all the constant new flavors and themes. Parking can be a bit tricky but plenty of parking available. Very upsetting that they’re getting rid of their punch cards for rewards.

Cross Street Market, with a rich history dating back to 1838, has undergone numerous upgrades and restorations over the years. Originally an open-air market, it was transformed into a two-story Italianate structure in the late 1800s. After a fire in the 1950s, the building was reconstructed and recently underwent another renovation in 2019. The latest amendment included restoring entrances to their original 1950s designs and adding communal seating.

Nice walkable food market in the Baltimore Inner Harbor/Federal Hill neighborhood. Nice variety of restaurants and great coffee shop. Something for everyone. Indoor and outdoor seating. Similar to Reading Market in Philly or Chelsea Market in NYC (but smaller than both).

Very clean, pretty friendly environment. Great food choices. I really enjoyed Jollof Bowel. There food is savory and good. The cost is somewhere between $20-$30 depending on what you get.. it's definitely a Chipotle style flare. 😋

Haven't been here in decades! I Went in before the O's game around 530pm. I had great crab cake platter along with homemade mac n cheese at Atlas seafood.
Daniel S — Google review
I miss when it was a market. Now it's basically just a food court. Still, the renovations look great, it's clean, it's just not how I remember. It used to be bustling with meat and produce stands, fresh squeezed lemonade, live music, and so many more vendors! I just feel like it's missing something now. The same thing happened to Hollins Market and Lexington Market. They feel hollowed out and on the expensive side.

Where are the veggies and fruit? What happened to the farmers market for this Saturday morning (which fell between May and October) at the Cross Street Market. This Cross Street Market farmers market is talked about by major Baltimore touring organizations, magazines and social media sites. Maybe their publications are outdated. If so, then their announcements should be updated. At 9:00 this Saturday morning it seemed things were just getting started. There were not many people around and no one could provide any information about a highly-touted farmers market. Well, so much for the fruit and veggie inspection and purchase. At the renovated market, a few shops were open and serving breakfast and coffee, but that was just about it. The place was quiet, I remember the hustle, bustle, laughter and people from the good old days. The building is nicely renovated. There is a noticeable alignment of shops along the side walls of the interior of the building. There are also easily accessible entrance and exit areas. Artwork and signage on the building is pretty. There is tabled seating outside on the side of the building, but I am not sure if it is general seating or for specific shops. There is limited parking around the building and additional parking within walking distance, but pay close attention to parking signs. There were plenty electric scooters available outside. Because it was early morning there was not much traffic. Very pleasant.

Visitors can explore locally sourced gourmet goodies at the market or indulge in delicious bites from various dining options such as The Pizza Trust, Thai Landing, and Koba Korean Barbecue.
My first time visiting The Belvedere Square. My niece and I came specifically for a restaurant that serves the smoked mussels which were phenomenal! We traveled over an hour and the trip was well worth it! The Belvedere Square is a unique shopping experience filled with a variety of restaurants offering something different from Asian cuisine to down home style county cooking. We tried a few of the eateries. And just about everything was spot on delicious. They even have a watering hole for a wide selection of adult beverages. And I can’t forget the homemade crêpe restuarant where they offer a range of sweet and savory treats that will satisfy any sweet tooth made fresh to order. Belvedere Square offers plenty of free parking indoor and outdoor dining spaces. We enjoyed our shopping experience, even with all the hustle and bustle of the children and families moving about it was an enjoyable day to try the unique shops available in the square!

This place is like a mall food court without thr mall vibe. Great place for Thai food (Thai Landing). Hot, tasty, and hearty. Staff was nice and open to suggestion requests. We ordered: 1) Hilo Bowl. Shrimp was a good size and servings were a reasonable size. 2) Build Your Own Salad: They have you fill out an order slip of what you like in your salad, which is great 👍. The veggies and fruits were fresh and savory. 3) Thai Fried Rice (added broccoli and pinapple). This was very good! With the portion size, my wife was able to each lunch and I finished off for dinner 🍽😋. 4) Pad Tha (added chicken & shrimp): Some of the best Pad Thai I've had, besides when we vacationed in Thailand. Great taste and noodles. I asked for medium-hot, but wasn't so hot. They have general seating (inside and outside) that's shared with the other establishments and the atmosphere, as mentioned earlier, is like a mall food court. Definitely an nice place meet, eat, and even have a drink. Maybe we'll try the bar next time.

Additionally, they offer cocktails and a variety of wines to choose from depending on your mood.
We love the Baltimore re-purposed building food and bev scene, and Guilford Hall is seriously top-notch. What a building! Entrance is fantastic and the space is a mix of modern and original. Well done!! Staff super-friendly and professional. Music background was excellent on our visit with an indie flavor. Pours were fantastic; huge fan of the Bavarian influences in their beer and food. We shared the grilled sausage board and the short rib stroganoff. The sausages were perfection in flavor, and snappy and loaded with juice. The stroganoff, where has this been my whole life! This was AMAZING! Looking forward to getting back to Guilford Hall very soon.

Joshua the manager and Joshua the bartender were amazing! We came from NYC, believing (and it’s true) that this is the only real brewery in town making beer on site. When we arrived, we discovered it was closed for a private wedding. Seeing how disappointed we were, Joshua the bartender, Joshua the manager, and the new chef kindly accommodated us so we could still enjoy their beer. They were so welcoming—and the beer was phenomenal! We heard the food is also incredible, so we’ll definitely be back to try it. Highly recommended—300%—to everyone in town!

This place is very classy has many TV's and great beers. My shepherd pie was good but they need to do a better job on mashing the potatoes as there were two chunks of potatoes I had to cut to eat. The Belgian Ale and Doppelbock are awesome! My wife loved her sausage board and my kid liked the chicken tenders too. The pretzel looks awesome too!

We got married here last month, and I've got nothing but great things to say. First, the food and drink were just stellar. We knew that we were in for a treat because of the tasting, but we had so many guests come up to us and say how delicious the food was. One of our neighbors here in Baltimore remarked on how he didn’t know about the brewery before but can’t wait to come back. My husband doesn’t drink, and rather than just having a soda/lemonade, José had a special non-alcoholic spritzer waiting just for him. Those little touches were so meaningful to us, and say a lot about how Guilford is thoughtful about the guest experience. Despite being relatively new to the staff, Dani was incredibly helpful and very responsive in answering all of my numerous questions. When she wasn’t sure about the answer (for example, a very specific technical question about A/V equipment) she was able to point me to the right person who could assist. She also was gracious in allowing me to store a few items in the basement the night prior to the wedding so we didn’t have to carry so many things the day of. She was also very organized, including developing floor plans to make sure I liked them, checking placements, etc.

Joshua was great. Super friendly and so knowledgeable about the beer. The vibe is so laid back! The place is beautiful, don’t sleep on the outside seating or the events they do upstairs. The beer is great, and so well balanced. I’ll definitely be going back

This place is great. Love the ambiance as its not too loud, good vibe music, really decent bear list(good variety and beers were mostly pretty tasty), and the food was stellar! Hubby and I each got a flight and covered most of the menu. I'd say 4 out of 6 beers were within our wheelhouse. The food: Starter: giant pretzel with beer cheese and mustard- mustard wasn't great but my husband liked it. Husband had the parmesan chicken and I had the fish and chips. Both with generous portions and very tasty. CJ is a very friend and helpful server. Definitely would return!

My wife and I had lunch and attended a Law & Order spoof show at the Guilford Hall Brewery in Baltimore. Street parking seemed to be the only parking available. At first glance, the venue didn't seem to be wheelchair accessible because there was a short flight of stairs leading from the entry to the restaurant, but on your right, as you enter the front door, there's an elevator. And it's not one of those teeny afterthought elevators, it's a real, standard size elevator. We split two appetizers, the Margherita flatbread appetizer and the supersize mozzarella cheese stick with marinara sauce. Both were delicious, and we didn't feel the need for any more food for lunch. Service was friendly, but a bit slow. The show was one floor up, and we took the elevator.

Chill little brewery out on one of the old industrial peninsulas in Dundalk. We like their beer and their little popcorn machine which was a great idea for a brewery. They have shuffleboard darts and board games. I like their imperial stout which packed a punch, but also the all days off. Lager had solid flavor. Nothing crazy about it. I also have an eagle cam which is a camera overlooking an eagle's nest that isn't above the parking lot. Pretty cool to watch the birds.

Brass Tap was our choice for Happy Hour. This was my 1st time here and it gave a relaxed ambience. Located near the train tracks it also gave a laid back vibe. Upon entry we were greeted by the Bartender and we had a choice of indoor or outdoor seating. Outdoor was our choice the Bartender gave recommendations on drinks and The Honey Margarita was delish!! Shots tried on the Happy Hour menu were the coconut Key Lime pie 👍🏽 , and later the Green tea which was ok. Desserts were also good. i was a little disappointed in a few things, i ordered chicken Nachos and received steak. Me and my Party wanted more to eat but was not asked if we wanted anything else( reason for 3 stars). On a good note I would come again . both Bartender and waiter were attentive and brought what was ordered out at a timely manner, and it's in a great location. So if in the area try them out.

Stopped In here with my family because my son wanted to try the food here. I was a party of 5 with my children all under 5 by the way. We ordered the pizza because what boy child doesn’t like pizza anyways when the check comes there is an 18% gratuity added and I’m looking for the sign on the wall or at entrance to tell me that this is policy. So I asked the waitress why this was added automatically and she stated that I didn’t have to pay it and that she wanted to make sure that her staff were paid . Now I’m in shock because how do you just demand extra money from people. Point blank the pizza was awesome nice and fresh . I set a 10 min timer to see when my family would be address which the did about 6 mins after my family set down for the second time because we moved from our original seats in the sun room because there was another party in the area having explicit conversation that I didn’t want my kids to be exposed to.i ended up giving the gratuity for the pizza it self not the service . I most likely will probably never return to this establishment. By the way when I paid my check the waitress tried to short me 7$ but thank god I know math. A free dessert should have been given for all the mistakes and service but of course not it was never offered.

4/1/25 - We went during Happy Hour and ordered the pepperoni pizza and a drink off of the bar menu. The pizza was disgusting. What's up with the Ricotta Cheese. The waitress kindly remade it without the Ricotta. The pizza wasn't very good. It was simply ok. The wings were good through. The Ranch dressing was watery and a little off. The service was quick and friendly. Thank you for your response, but it wasn't the Hot Honey Pizza. Unless they forgot to add the hot honey part to the pizza.

Pure Raw Juice always has really great smoothies and juice. I moved to the Federal Hill/Locust Point area about a year ago, but never visited because it’s listed on Google as not being wheelchair accessible. Great Service!! However, The Almond Butter Cup here was not good. That's my usual drink at the Rotunda. This is the third location I've visited and ordered the Almond butter Cup and it's made different at each place and the best place is Rotunda.
Desdemona S — Google review
I've been to a couple of the locations and this one made me want to come back for another smoothie. I wish the cup was larger. It was thick like I like it and that has been a challenge to get my smoothie made l thick without the Banana. My daughter is 26, and her smoothie was so good she use the old wise saying, “she put her heart in it,” we will be back Sunday after the gym. Thank you!

This cafe offers coffee lovers a variety of drinks and snacks, including granola and toast. The space has large windows that give you a view of the waterfront.
Great coffee spot right by the water. Quietly tucked away in a larger building. This place was busy but never felt crowded. Coffee was great!
Antonia T — Google review
I’ve visited this coffee shop several times while visiting Baltimore. The staff is very friendly and coffee orders are made fairly quickly. They have a really nice selection of sweet and savory pastries. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.
Meredith Z — Google review
Wow wow wow! Beautiful experience; intentionally sought a locally-owned coffeehouse and I will be here everyday during my visit! Tucked away on a beautiful green space near the water, staff were gracious, lovely. Bonus: Veteran-owned…
Lynn O — Google review
Great spot for a cup of coffee. They have some fun seasonal drinks on the menu and of course the classics. It's a great spot to work remotely as they have free wifi and lots of seating.
Mariah M — Google review
The customer service is consistently terrible and the baristas aren’t friendly. Please focus on training up your baristas and better customer service. Wanted a latte with the floral syrup and barista tried to charge me the speciality drink price. She seemed annoyed and got rude when I asked her just to ring it up as a latte with a syrup. Ordered it for here. Came in a paper cup. Didn’t feel valued. Happens often here and I’m a regular. If service remains rude and unfriendly, I’ll go elsewhere. Latte art is consistently terrible for the price paid.
Kylie A — Google review
It’s was my first time trying a cortado At first was surprised as they served it with sparkling water. After some ChatGPT search realized it’s for palette cleansing. I would say to liking this coffee is an acquired taste. But a sip of sparkling water did enhance the the notes of caffeine in my cortado. I liked my cream cheese bagel nothing special but a filling one. Vibe is usually corporate crowd , can get very busy, I was kinda let down because I did not get a nice place to sit and my table was wobbly. Overall, a place for office goers to grab a coffee to go midday.

Line coffee shop in the area sitting on a cute park. Great coffee, nice small menu with pastries and breakfast and lunch sandwiches. Good spot
Rick V — Google review
This coffee shop is really cozy. They have many options of drinks and pastries. I ordered a blueberry scone that was big and tasty. I also ordered a matcha, which was also good.

Morning Mugs Coffee, located in Baltimore's Otterbein neighborhood, offers a delightful autumn experience with their Pumpkin Cloud and Butterscotch cold foams. Their Smores Latte brings back campfire memories with its perfect blend of coziness and caffeine. The shop boasts friendly baristas, a cozy atmosphere, and fun games for discounts on future visits. Customers can enjoy the calm vibes while sipping on their fantastic coffee selection, making it an irresistible spot for morning indulgence.
Exceptional! The service here could not be better. The staff truly cares about what and how they serve. The color code game is especially fun to play and is quite unique to get a future coffee discount. This place had a continuous stream of visitors on a Sunday AM. It has to be one the best coffee shops in Baltimore! ☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️
John M — Google review
Morning Mugs is a cozy yet lively coffee spot with a lot of personality. The indoor space is small but feels open with the garage door open, which connects to the shaded outdoor seating area. The open concept brings in fresh air without making the inside too hot—perfect for a summer morning. The vibe was active, with plenty of people working or catching up with friends, which gave the place a nice energy. Thankfully when I went there was one spot open. As for the menu, prices are fairly standard for a specialty café. I ordered the Iced Lavender Chai with oat milk, which came out to $8.52 with tax—a bit on the pricier side, but the drink was flavorful and refreshing. Worth it for a treat. They also offer breakfast sandwiches, burritos, and wraps, with some vegetarian options. While I didn’t try the food this time, it’s great to know they have more than just coffee. They also offer non-coffee drinks for anyone looking for alternatives. Overall, I really enjoyed my visit and would definitely come back to try something new. Morning Mugs has a great mix of character, comfort, and community. The staff was super bubbly and welcoming, which made the experience even more enjoyable.

Morning Mugs is the perfect start to any day! The coffee is always fresh and flavorful, and the staff greets you with such kindness that it instantly feels like home. I love the cozy vibe, it’s the kind of place where you can sit with a good cup, catch up with a friend, or just enjoy a quiet moment before the day gets busy. As a realtor, I’m always on the lookout for local spots to share with clients, and Morning Mugs is one of those special Baltimore gems I’m proud to recommend. ☕✨ — Ali Hudler, Hudler Homes

Fun and hip place for coffee, baked goods and other items! Cute decor with a fun pick your color special to save 10% if you guess the right color of your cup sleeve. Staff was very pleasant and perky. Great place to visit in Baltimore. It's located near the Ravens and Orioles stadiums.

Really cool venue with great coffee and breakfast. It’s a popular spot but the line moved quickly. Great atmosphere with the garage doors making an indoor/outdoor space. Tyler has created a great neighborhood hangout spot.

If you like doing work from outside the office or home. This place is open to nature, offers delicious custom mocha’s. Super fire spot. Glad I found it. Right in the heart of Fed Hill, the most scenic part of Baltimore
Symere V — Google review
Tucked away off the beaten path in Fed Hill, this place is a great find, with great coffee! The nitro cold brew is smooth, with bold flavor…great way to get the day started. The staff/baristas are always friendly and make you feel welcomed. Definitely recommend you give them a try.
Greg H — Google review
Absolutely the most fun experience I have ever had at a coffee shop. I wish I got the person at register’s name but they were delightful (ravens sweatshirt and hair to match 🥰). Customer service top notch! Delicious coffee and you get to partake in a guessing game for 10% off your next order. I was skeptical about the banana bread latter but I’m happy I tried it.

Baltimore Spirits Company is a renowned distillery in Baltimore, Maryland, known for crafting high-quality spirits at affordable prices. Their meticulous distillation process ensures exceptional taste and quality. The venue also serves as a banquet hall for weddings and special events, offering a picturesque setting. Visitors can enjoy a unique experience by blending their own whiskey and learning about the history of whiskey and rye in Maryland through informative tours. The facility's cleanliness and knowledgeable staff contribute to an outstanding visitor experience.
It was our first visit and we’ll be back! Really cool place to hang out and enjoy a cocktail. They do tours that include blending your own spirit but we just dropped in for a cocktail. I had the gallery punch which was delicious. All the cocktails sounded amazing and they’re surprisingly well-priced in the $8-12 range.

Tried their distillery tour and "blend your own whiskey" experience - super interesting with great discussion of history and the distillation process (while enjoying a welcoming cocktail). At the end, they let you experiment with blending yourself, which is very fun. Very well organized, entertaining, and worth the time/money. (We arrived around 3:15 for a 3:30 tour and were *just* able to make 5:30 dinner reservations nearby.)

This has been one of the best distillery tours I had ever done. I did the "Blend your Own Whiskey Tour Experience". The staff wad amazing, the welcome cocktail was on point, the tour and knowledge provided was really exciting. The tasting was really good and we had a chance to make our own custom Whiskey blend to take home, and that was the cherry on top. Can't wait to go back!

The experience is well worth the cost. The historian was very knowledgeable. Everyone was friendly. The whiskey tasting experience of 4 types of whiskey was great. A fun experience.

I had the pleasure of popping in with a friend and having a drink or two at this fine establishment and was quite impressed. The atmosphere was chill and most of the staff and guest were pleasant and fun. I had so much fun I left with a bottle of their inspired crafted gin. An im not a Gin drinker but it is really good. Metropolitan Coffeehouse & Wine Bar is a cozy wine bar with a lively atmosphere where you can enjoy good food and drink. They have an extensive bottle list and modest but diverse draft selection, perfect for beer geeks. Thursdays they feature cask nights, where you can taste rare beers from around the world.
Went here for brunch with my boyfriend while attending a convention. The espresso is good, drinks are great, and food was absolutely amazing! I got the Salmon Benedict and boyfriend got the Duck Benedict. If km ever in the area again I will definitely stop by to try out their wine selection. The limonosa (limoncello and sparkling wine) was absolutely beautiful. Also, our server was absolutely amazing. If you are looking for excellent food and drinks, go here!
Heather C — Google review
The Met is a good option for brunch, especially when you come with a large group. They usually have enough space to accommodate without a wait (an upstairs and downstairs). Food tastes good, but nothing too special in terms of creativity/flavor. I like the self-serve coffee bar, so you can get as much or as little as you need. The mimosas are priced pretty well at ~$5 /16 oz glass. The ambiance is very cozy and I like the decor inside.
Jackie L — Google review
Excellent food, extensive menu for breakfast, lunch, dinner, beer and wine.
Shawn S — Google review
What they have is pretty good, but the menu (beer, wine, food) is somewhat limited. You can definitely find something you'll enjoy but the seasoned beer enthusiast is probably not going to find a huge selection of new and obscure beers to try . It's not overcrowded and loud like Max's, so you can order a few beers and some dinner and actually enjoy hanging out.
Tim J — Google review
Consistently good food. Casual, laid back environment. Excellent beer and wine selection. We are here at least 2x per week! Too many appetizers and entrees to promote that I love!
Alyssa B — Google review
I'm such a fan of Metropolitan. Federal Hill lacks wine bars and, in general, even more "adult" bars, and Metropolitan helps fill that void. The wine and beer lists are extensive, the staff is knowledgeable, and the food is delicious. (I'm a sucker for the hummus platter!) Metro is definitely one of my go-to places in the neighborhood.
Renee B — Google review
Went to this restaurant for dinner on March 5th while visiting family in Baltimore. The salmon dish i ordered was very good.. On the other hand, my wife ordered what was advertised in the menu as Jumbo Lump crabcake, but it was mushy and mostly claw meat. It was NOT jumbo lump crabmeat.....
Richard W — Google review
The food was delicious, service was fine. The place is a little cozy but other than the size it was great. Would definitely go back if we visit Baltimore again.

Beverage Depot Liquors is a charming and well-organized store with a diverse range of alcoholic beverages including wine, liquor, craft beer, and everyday options. The friendly staff efficiently assist customers in this clean and space-efficient establishment. Following a change in ownership, the wine selection has notably improved. While the beer selection is extensive, some bottles may be close to expiration, so it's advisable to check before purchasing.
Friendly service, wide selection, good prices, convenient location & plenty of parking.
Mark S — Google review
The prices are too high, store is nice and the cashiers are just there
Leonard H — Google review
Excellent selection for a liquor store this size. Good selection on liquors. Big bottles in every kind. Most lottery tickets I've gotten from there were winners even though not big winners usually
Jeff G — Google review
Nice little tucked away spot. Store had good flow, and quite a selection of wine, liquor, craft beer and cheap everyday alcoholic beer. The employees were friendly and went about their job quickly. Store was clean and they utilized their space well and had product just about everywhere. Not my usual spot but worth checking out.
J — Google review
Much better with the change in ownership. Really nice wine selection. Be careful with the beer some of them tend to be very close to expiration. Especially the single bottles, they seem to be getting better about checking. Nobody likes coming home finding less than fizzy beer.
Xc R — Google review
No prices on their goods. Taking beer up to the front is like gambling. I informed them more prices would be helpful and their response was "talk to the manager." Store always filled with people trying to buy keno, lottery, etc...
Brad P — Google review
Decent selection, but the people who work there really don't seem to care about their customers at all. It's always hard to find someone to help you, and it seems like you're interrupting them when you go up to pay.

Upon observation. They offer a variety of adult beverages and the customer service is good. However, I only visit for lottery.

Nestled in the heart of the city, Hanover Square Apartments offers a delightful living experience. Residents enjoy spacious layouts and a friendly community atmosphere where politeness and helpfulness are the norm. The building features a swift elevator for easy access to all floors, while the front courtyard maintains a pristine appearance. However, it's worth noting that cab pickups can be tricky at times, with some waiting involved after confirming rides.

Terrible management and terrible maintenance. EVERYTHING including payment methods for rent are outdated. Who has time to stand in line for a money order every month? I would NOT recommend this place for your elderly parents. Management doesn't care.
