Tidal Creek Brewhouse is a versatile destination offering a wide selection of handcrafted brews, including Pilsners, Ales, Lagers, Porters, Stouts, and Sours. The brewery also produces its own house Seltzer.
Found this place looking around close to our hotel. Wanted something local and different, glad we did. The service was fast, the kids enjoyed their grub (bit of an FYI the kid’s burger is like slider sized so if you have a big eater like mine order the adult sized), Food was GREAT! on par with a better restaurant, and the beer was cold. Don’t worry about the heat they set up fans outside on the patio and it’s well covered. Honestly it was a good place and definitely a step above our choices near our hotel (this was a 5min drive from where we were staying).

Holiday Inn recommended this restaurant and at first we thought it was strange to have breakfast at a brewery. But they are also a coffee house. We were welcomed with a friendly smile and we all loved the food we ordered. Shrimp. And grits , breakfast sandwich and French toast tacos were tasty. If you bring your kiddos they gave a fun play area. I would come here again. The guys loved the car show set up across the street on Sunday too.

Looking for a burger spot with ratings above 4.5 🌟, then this is your place. I honestly can't even tell you what the name of my drink was but it was sour. I want to say the #11 but don't quote me. All I know is everything was delicious. My wife ordered the mushroom Swiss burger(not pictured). And the #9 beer. I ordered the classic burger. The burger was cooked to perfection. Not well done and not burned. And it was juicy. The service was amazing. I don't drink beer and know nothing about it. So they were very helpful in recommending options for me. I highly recommend this place. They do have an outdoor section that I didn't get a chance to partake in because we had to get on the road home.

We arrived at a great time, about 3 in the afternoon, not much of a crowd at all. We had some great tacos and enjoyed the nice restaurant/ brewery. Definitely worth trying out! Kudos for having a beer in honor of the Army Rangers.. RLTW

Tidal Creek was delicious and had fantastic service! My family got in from an early morning flight and stopped here for Brunch, the crab cake eggs Benedict is a must, and they’re great coffee was just the pick-me-up we needed! Definitely grab a 4 pack of their beer on the way out as well!

Great little hidden away place, drove by many times. We checked it out, just had cocktails, but the food looked good. Caleb was our server, excellent service. Worth checking out, will be back for lunch.
Lisa R — Google review
Been here a couple times and both times the beer has been good, and the food has been great. The flight and food was a little pricey, but considering the location and how good everything was, I wasn't too upset. Whether you're a local or a tourist, this is a great place to check out.

This place is amazing! I had time after landing in Myrtle beach to have lunch and drinks. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The beer selection was great. Their menu has something for everyone. Even my children enjoyed the food. I would recommend stopping by for a bite to eat .

American restaurant
Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant, located in The Market Common, Myrtle Beach, is a popular brewpub known for serving delicious food alongside its German-style beers. The restaurant offers a diverse menu featuring items like flatbreads, sliders, wagyu meatballs, Bavarian pretzels, and chicken schnitzel sliders. Their Sunday brunch includes traditional breakfast dishes such as the Louisiana Creole Omelet and the famous Sunday Brunch Bloody Mary.
Finally stopped by this place, and I certainly wasn’t disappointed! Food was absolutely delicious. We had garlic fries (my personal favorite), the pepperoni pizza, chicken sliders, and pretzels with queso and beer mustard. Our server Meghan was very attentive and quick despite it being busy got our food and drinks out quickly. A little expensive but worth it if you’re looking to splurge.
Skyler H — Google review
The bartender was great; he served us good drinks that were well-measured and delivered quickly. The server was nice ; she recommended the fish, but we ended up ordering BBQ chicken pizza because the pretzel and steak bites weren’t on the menu, which is what I had come for. Additionally, the light kept flickering the whole time, and she also provided us with dirty dishes.
CHATTY C — Google review
Absolutely Blown Away! We recently visited Gordon Biersch Brewery and were totally impressed—especially with the Fish & Chips. Easily ranks among the best I’ve had in the U.S., and surprisingly close to the quality I’ve enjoyed in England. The portion was generous, the batter light and crispy, and the fish perfectly cooked. I opted for the garlic fries—an excellent choice. My wife ordered the Voodoo Burger, which was massive, juicy, and cooked to perfection. She loved it. We sat outside, enjoyed some great people-watching, and paired our meal with one of their outstanding IPA craft beers. Service was friendly and attentive. The menu is packed with intriguing options, and I’m already planning my next visit to try more. Highly recommended for a relaxed and delicious brunch!

Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant is located in The Market Common at Myrtle Beach. They are open Sun - Thu 11AM - 10PM and Fri - Sat 11AM - 11PM. This spot's known for its craft German-style beers and solid pub grub. I'm not much of a beer person, so I came here for the food. I kicked things off with the buffalo wings. They were cooked just right, perfectly sauced, and full of flavor. Really solid quality. I noticed chicken schnitzel on the menu and decided to order it for my entree since it was the house specialty and something I hadn't tried before. Unfortunately, I wasn't impressed. While the chicken itself was tender, the breading was soggy rather than crispy and fell off as soon as I cut into it. The roasted garlic mashed potatoes served on the side were also a bit dry. My mom and sister split the beyond burger with coleslaw. They both enjoyed it. The burger was juicy and the coleslaw was fresh and creamy. Our server was okay. She was attentive, but not particularly warm or friendly. Gordon Biersch has indoor and outdoor seating. Pickup and delivery are both available.

My wife and I decided to eat here May 18th in the afternoon and was not impressed, the food was ok not great. We got the burger and chicken sliders and the sirloin. The sliders were better than the sirloin. The server we had was emotionless and only did a quick drive by check in and never asked for refills or anything else and just seemed genuinely annoyed we were even there. Then once we went to pay the check which was 76.94 I gave her 80 for the check and another 20 to get change back. She tried to keep the 3 dollars from the change on the check and when brought to her attention didn't even apologize and seemed she knew what she was doing and tried squeezing an extra few dollars on her tip which we left 15.00 which realistically she didnt deserve 20% for the lack luster service. Could have been an honest mistake on her part but it definitely didn't seem that way. We will most likely not be visiting this restaurant again just isn't worth it in our opinion.
Brian W — Google review
Had lunch here with our dog, great beer deal on Tuesday $2 drafts. We had chicken tenders and the chicken sandwich, quality is fantastic, portion is huge. Chairs weren't the most comfortable on the patio, a great spot to people watch while having a drink.

In Myrtle Beach for work this week and was looking for a good place to watch a game. Gordon Biersch Brewery came up as a good choice and close to where I’m staying. Great vibe, awesome patio, bar with outdoor and indoor seating, and a great menu. I was relieved to see their beer menu wasn’t all IPA’s. Cary, the bartender was great. I ordered the crispy chicken schnitzel and wow, it was amazing. The chicken was tender and juicy, with a crispy crust on it, and the white wine sauce was excellent. Also had 2 pints of their German Festbier which was also outstanding. This is one of the best places I’ve been to in Myrtle Beach and I’d highly recommend it!

My mom and I went here for lunch and shared the fish and chips. Our waitress was Tina, she was awesome! She brought everything out on 2 separate plates and our drinks were never empty. The food was great! Overall just a really positive experience and Tina was a big part of that!

Atlas Tap House is a newly opened bar in Myrtle Beach, run by two brothers and located near popular attractions like Plyler Park and the Myrtle Beach Skywheel. The bar has undergone extensive renovations, offering an extended bar, pool table, and revamped patio/tiki bar. With over 60 beers in the fridge and 25 taps serving various brews, including local options, it's quickly become a hotspot for beer enthusiasts.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Atlas Tap House is a hidden gem in Myrtle Beach! The beer selection is outstanding — tons of craft options on tap and in cans, with something for every taste. The food blew me away — the burgers are juicy and flavorful, and the smoked wings were some of the best I’ve ever had. Chill vibe, great music, and friendly staff who know their stuff. Whether you’re a craft beer lover or just looking for a laid-back spot to unwind, Atlas Tap House delivers. A must-visit every time I'm in town!
Zach J — Google review
Great place for burgers and beer. It's where all the locals go to eat and kick back
Rich B — Google review
Some may call me biased because I've played music at this establishment for over a decade. I would counter that it's a testament to how great this place is that I'd be willing to associate myself with the same establishment for over a decade. It's not just the food or the beer selection and bourbon collection. It's not the proximity to the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and Atlantic Ocean. It's the people that make this place incredible. Aaron and Mark have always hired staff that is beyond friendly and helpful.
Brian R — Google review
I stop here every time I hit Myrtle beach. Bourbon selection is incredible. Huge beer selection. Did not have food this time but only due to scheduling. Shout out to Joe. He did us well. See ya again somewhere in time!!

Atlas is a very cool bar with friendly staff. It has leather chairs for relaxing, a dart board, games etc. inviting you to just hang out and chill. Of course, they have an awesome beer selection, too! For some eats we had the fried risotto balls, wings, and a trio of their tacos. The food was yummy! Will definitely go back.
Melissa S — Google review
I was blown away by Atlas Tap House! The atmosphere was fun and lively with people playing games and good music playing. The food was extremely reasonably priced and absolutely delicious! The mac and cheese bites are out of this world. There honestly didn't seem like a bad option on the whole menu and even though my family is on vacation here for one week, we all agreed that we want to come back! Live music and fantastic outdoor games make this a place we all were ready to return to as soon as we left!
Ryan H — Google review
Bartenders are all baddies. And the regulars are hilarious! Great food and great people. Not to mention the drinks are fairly priced. Definitely a bucket list place if you’ve never been
Edward B — Google review
Been before and will end up there again... but to ID someone on three seperate occasions definitely leaves a bad taste. I've been served 3 drinks in my mid 20s and I feel like I'm at TSA. Make sure to bring your passport, social and birth certificate for extra verification. Get a scanner at this rate guys... it's 2025

We are out on the patio and it was our servers first night. Dimitry, did great! We got a little bit of everything. We started with hush puppies, fried pickles and calamari. I recommend all of them. So good. Then we got kids cheeseburger and fries, crab cakes, grouper bites and she crab soup. All of it was good and responsibly priced.
Anderson83 — Google review
Service was a little slow, and after our meal waited for our check with no employees in sight, not even a bar tender at the bar. Atmosphere was a little dingy, the sign hanging at our table had thick layer of dust. Food came out hot and fast once we were able to order. The fish and chips were delicious. The server was very friendly. Overall, it was a decent experience.
Alina Y — Google review
Scheduled a family reunion group (26) luncheon here last Saturday 8/2/25 based off positive reviews. Nothing but positivity from 11am - 1pm, manager and staff were very accommodating. Food was excellent, I received the Shrimp and Grits which was excellent, my only complaint, I felt they could have doubled the amount of grits, think I had 8 spoons of grits given the cost 8.9 of 10, more grits 10 of 10. Every one else stated their food was on point, delicious. I tried my cousin’s meatloaf, wow, tasted like it was somehow seared, mash potatoes on top and middle, excellent 10 of 10. My wife enjoyed her BBQ Baby Back Ribs-Half Rack and greens, she gave me a small taste, very good, fries were bland, she said greens were good. My daughter got the Jambalaya pasta dish that had some spice to it, I tried a full fork taste, excellent 8.5 of 10. My other daughter Freedom Burger and greens, she enjoyed it. Daughters ordered Taproom Chicken Nachos appetizer, good. My mother enjoyed her Fish and Chips didn't care that much for the fries, the fish was cod.

Went here for the 1st time on Saturday September 27th 2025 with my parents and aunt. My aunt suggested this place because I was craving a burger. We walked in, and a sign said that we can seat ourselves, so we did that. We arrived at around 4:30PM on a saturday. Some people were there, but it wasn't busy. We sat at a booth by the bar. They had lots of Tvs showing all different sports from baseball to football, to soccer. A server greeted us right away and gave us menus. They have game day specials, as well as Happy Hour every day specials. We all started with 4 waters. I ordered the Watermelon Mule, My aunt ordered a whisky, and my parents ordered titos with sprite. We started with chicken nachos and Fried Zuchini. Nachos were very good, as well as the Zuchini, although it was piping hot! For entrees I got the taproom burger with no cheese, My aunt got blue burger, my mom got the freedom burger, and my dad got the special surf burger with shrimp. Food came out in a timely manner. Burgers were cooked to order and very tasty and tender! Enjoyed them! Server also was pleasant and made sure to check on us constantly. food was delicous! Paid via credit card and left a cash tip. Hope to be back again when I am craving a Burger!

Okay place, a little dirty tho. Tables and menus sticky. Good beer selection. Didn't eat because of the grossness. Cant comment on the food.
Robert L — Google review
Food tasted great and the service was at the top. Server checked in multiple times, and two other workers stopped by a few times to say hi. It was excellent.
Daniel D — Google review
We went here for dinner while on vacation. The staff was friendly and attentive, which we really appreciated. We ordered the fried pickles as a starter, and they were hands down the best I’ve ever had. Unfortunately, the main dishes didn’t match the quality of the appetizer. The greens were well cooked but lacked seasoning, my husband’s fish portion was very small and dried out, and my daughter’s chicken tenders from the kids’ menu were extremely small. My son and I shared the filet with grilled shrimp, but again, the filet lacked flavor. Overall, it seems like the biggest improvement needed would be in seasoning and flavoring the main dishes.
Breann K — Google review
We were starved when we arrived for a late dinner. Tammy was AMAZING!! She was so attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and put up with our rowdy crowd with a great sense of humor. If we lived in town, we'd definitely be back for the good food and Tammy!!! Thank you!!!

The Grumpy Monk Broadway is a lively restaurant and bar located at Broadway at the Beach, offering a diverse selection of craft beers from around the country. In addition to their extensive beer menu, they serve quality sandwiches, wings, and hand-rolled sushi made fresh daily. The menu features unique items like the Triple Double or Tropical Storm sushi rolls, The Monk Went Up To Philly sandwich, and Monk Turds appetizer.
This was such a cool restaurant right on the water. It was a nasty rainy day so we sat inside but they had a beautiful deck also. They had so many uplifting and remarkable decor! And the food was delicious! I highly recommended the fish n chips and the fish tacos! Gratuity is included on the check Service was incredibly slow! It was busy and as a server I understand that we can only be one place at a time but she did not care that she was providing crappy service and that’s what I disliked. No urgency or apology.
Amber H — Google review
Was busy today, and our waiter had a lot of tables to get to. The burgers were really good and we also ordered the 42 oz drink. We had the Blue Lagoon and it wasn't sugary or flavorful. You get to keep the plastic cup and the duck, which is nice. All the burgers were very flavorful and juicy, I recommend any burger that is on the menu.

Awesome food, service and beers! Will be back for another Rodeo burger, fried green tomatoes, Jolene beer and onion rings! They had outside seating but it was closed. The food was awesome you won't be disappointed!

I come to Myrtle Beach every year at least once or twice and this was my favorite meal that I had on this trip. I went Sunday night around 9 pm. I wish I could remember my server’s name because he was amazing and was one of the best I’ve had in a long time (want to say he had blondish/longer hair). The food was delicious and was looked so appetizing. Probably the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had (buffalo chicken sandwich). Prices were actually pretty affordable considering you get to eat on the water and in MB. Will definitely be back next time.

Everyone got their food but one person. They actually ordered sushi. I had to have someone get our waiter to buy ask for the forgotten food. Im sure the sushi was ready first. The waiter was attentive and was on our refills. Most of the everyone's food was good. Not sure if I'd come back or not. We did get seated immediately and didn't have to wait.

Good food. We got in pretty quickly. Great atmosphere inside and out on the patio. Would have been better, but the live performer was very loud and not very good. We got the honey pecan chicken, I would get it again.

We visited The Grumpy Monk on a Saturday night in July around 9pm. I know it was a busy night but the restaurant was pretty dirty, and that was disappointing. There were napkins all over the floor in the bathroom hallway right as you walk into the restaurant. We came in anyway and ordered a BLT on Gluten Free bread and a coke. The sandwich was DELICIOUS! The service was GREAT! But the value was a little disappointing too. The sandwich and coke cost us $30.

I love that we could enjoy this place. Husband craved sushi, while I wanted bar type food. One look at the menu and we knew we found the place. I don't know where else you could get hamburgers, sushi, fish, I think they even had steak. You name it, it was probably on the menu. Seemed like a very large selection of beer and specialty drinks.

Crooked Hammock Brewery, located at Barefoot Landing in North Myrtle Beach, is a popular hangout spot that opened in 2020. The 6,800 square foot facility features impressive artwork and a tropical mural by local artist Cathy Collins. Visitors can enjoy house-made beers and grab a bite to eat while relaxing in the spacious backyard filled with games, a gazebo bar, and plenty of hammocks.
We dined here for my 30th birthday on our recent Myrtle Beach trip and went two times before as well. The website didn’t allow us to make reservations for the time we wanted, but we walked in and were seated inside with no wait. Our group ordered a variety of dishes from burgers to fish to sandwiches. I personally loved my Farmhouse burger, it was one of the best burgers I’ve ever eaten. I also got a complimentary “Hot Mess” dessert for my birthday and it was large enough to split amongst 5 people. I look forward to this place every time and can’t wait to be back in a few years.
Renee B — Google review
The atmosphere and beer were very good. We had one of the flights plus a pumpkin beer which was great. The food was disappointing. Seemed like everything was premade and just sitting under a heat lamp. The Brussel sprout appetizer was good but again just cold. I decided to try the coconut jalapeños wings which were breaded and fried. I was not a fan. Girlfriend got the big sampler with different meats and was only happy with the beef.
Jacob S — Google review
I held my son’s rehearsal dinner here and it was perfect! The food was amazing! I can’t say enough about the service we received from Justin and Angelina. They were both so friendly and attentive. The event was held out in the fireplace area which provided perfect lighting for a cozy, intimate setting. Highly recommend this space for a special event!

Excellent service, and great atmosphere. We ate at the taproom, not the main dining room. Clean restrooms. Decent brewery with a wide choice of house beer. I forgot to take a picture of their drink menu, but the Switchback, the Lucky Charm and the Sour were good. The one infused with THC, Cookout Cloudz was a little rough. The best thing was they offered samples of their beer, so try it first. The food was typical tourist food, not the best but not the worst. The street corn fries were delicious, so I definitely recommend the appetizers. The entrees had potential--everything had a good taste, but the chicken and steak were a little tough. Ribs were good but not great. Definitely worth a try if you are at Barefoot Landing. We would go again for sure, just for the service and atmosphere.

The food was absolutely delicious and we got 5 dollar drinks and swong all night on the bar swings, surrounded by water and alligators. So much fun the experience was 10 out of 10... Recommend!! Make sure you go before you to get the 5 dollars drinks and try the crush is so delicious and refreshing.

We came here to have some dinner one night and saw that there were 3 comfy hammocks. Our food came about 7 minutes after we ordered it. Live music and super good Burgers. (Good Tacos too). I recommend either the fish tacos or the burger. Super nice employees. They have corn hole in 2 spots and ping pong in 2 spots as well. You never get bored here. The atmosphere is great.

Swings and beer! Honestly, if that’s all Crooked Hammock was, I wouldn’t be mad about it. But, this over-the-water tree hut of a bar is SO much more than that! The ambiance could not get better, the food pairs perfectly with the beer (who doesn’t love a good poutine?!), and we even had a turtle and alligator as surprise visitors on the island. We spent the afternoon swinging on the rope swings and drinking Myrtle Peach and Crooktoberfest. Loved every second of it, and will 100% be returning next time we are in SC!

Delicious food. I was shocked at how great the food was especially at a brewery. It can get busy and the service was a bit slow. Bake a little buffer into your time so you're not hangry. The beer was great too.

Excellent food, great staff, fun atmosphere. A real gem 💎

I liked this place. Just to preface I only had an appetizer so take this with a grain of salt. I had the pretzels and the value during happy hour was amazing. That being said three of the pretzels were perfect the others were a little off. The mustard and cheese for the pretzels was good. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

Absolutely love the energy and spirit in this pub! The patrons are all about football on game day. Although the Commanders games are front and center, other teams are shown on the screens as well. The best burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches and game foods are served fast and hot!! The staff is boss! I love being at Bumstead's on Commanders game days!! Update 9/15/24 I love Bumstead's!! Helluva place to be on Commander game days!!! The Philly Cheesesteak was hot and juicy. Absolutely the best!!

I love this place. It's a sad day. Sad news. I love to watch my REDSKINS GAMES there and share the joy of THE GAME with fellow REDSKINS/Commanders family. I will definitely miss Gamedays at Bumsteads. Where will we meet now? Is there another REDSKINS/COMMANDERS Bar, in town?

Nestled in the vibrant Broadway at the Beach area, Liberty Brewery & Grill is a must-visit for anyone seeking a delightful dining experience. This lodge-style brewery combines an inviting atmosphere with a spacious outdoor beer garden, making it an ideal spot to unwind on warm summer days. The menu boasts an array of creative dishes, from mouthwatering appetizers like soft pretzels paired with ale mustard and queso to hearty entrees that include southern favorites such as fried chicken and comforting meatloaf.
Food and atmosphere are amazing. Wonderful server. Good prices and excellent beer. Pizza great! Duck tacos out of this world and not greasy. Highly recommend for lunch. Red ale is to die for!! Take some home with you.

Liberty came recommended and we dined there on 30Aug19. Our server was great, attentive, and good personality. Enjoyed the location too. The beer flight was reasonable, but we weren't too impressed with their beers. Wife got the shrimp and grits; it was fantastic, I can see why this is a favorite. I went for the chicken and waffles, which was alright. I think the oil in the deep fryer was old and/or to hot giving the chicken a burnt taste. Would be willing to go back some time and try them again.

We arrived about an hour before they closed and we sat outside on their patio. Quick attentive waitress but didn't rush us. Great prices on their in house brews $4 for a 16oz draft. Had the raspberry wheat beer which was amazing. We ordered the cheese and meat board for an app which was great and well priced. For our main we had 2 pizza's, just a regular old cheese pizza for the kids which they devoured and we got the Hawaiian which comes w big chunks of pineapple and comes w prosciutto and jalapenos. Great place for a late night stop

First time visiting this restaurant and my family was very happy! The staff was very friendly. We sat on the patio and took advantage of the Happy Hour specials. I ordered the sangria pitcher, and it was tasty (not strong), and the shrimp and grits! It was a huge portion and I’ll definitely get two meals out of it. It was really yummy, and so were the cheese fries! Will definitely return next time we visit Myrtle Beach.

Such a cool place! We love local beer joints and this place is really cool because you get to see the distillery right when you walk in. Awesome atmopshere, great food, and a really nice view of the lake. Loved it and will definitely come again!!

Great servers wouldn’t recommend the chicken and waffles, but their salad and baked potatoes are wonderful.excellent view while eating of the lake surrounding the premises. In a very convenient area close to the beach.

Well-prepared and nicely presented dishes, no matter what you order. Inviting and comfortable atmosphere. Excellent wait staff and very informative. Wall-to-wall windows where we sat in the back viewing the speedboat and speedline activities along with the birds and the ducks near the water. I ordered shrimp and grits: jumbo shrimp, tasso ham cream sauce, stone ground yellow cheddar grits, and it was excellent.

The steak, loaded baked potato, and salad with the Asian Sesame dressing was superb! The steak was cooked to perfection. It was a little slow with a hungry child coming out of the kitchen (could be because there was a party of 25 right next to us,) but the service was good.

Mellow Mushroom Myrtle Beach is a funky and art-filled chain pizzeria that offers a mellow vibe, psychedelic environment, and gourmet stone-baked pizzas with creative toppings. The restaurant caters to allergy-sensitive diners with a variety of gluten-free pizza options and a customized menu of ingredients available on their website.
This is my new favorite food spot. Ironically, we have a Mellow Mushroom in my hometown, but I'd never visited. After this experience, I will most definitely be visiting our location. The food was excellent, and Bryan, our server, was top tier. He was extremely attentive and kind. Ask for him if you go; you won't regard it. We will be going once more before heading home - that's just how good it was to experience.

This was some of the most delicious food I have ever eaten – highly recommended! The flavors are so unique and unforgettable. I had the bruschetta appetizer, the Holy Shiitake Pie pizza, and some wings, and everything was extremely flavorful – the kind of taste that’s hard to find and impossible to forget. The wait time was short, and the drinks were also very tasty. Our server, Joe, was incredibly kind and gentle, the type of person who makes you feel right at home and among family.

Chose this place on a whim, based on the name and the fact that there are fresh ingredients. A definite win! Delicious pizza, an healthy helping of cheese, and the dough and crust were fantastic - light and airy - fresh! Enjoyed the Gaelic ale as well. Our server, Sabrina was super pleasant and helpful. We'll be back next time we're at the beach!

Great Food and Fun for a family meal. The pizza was really good and had some fun unique twists on some classics. We had the Suppa Pep and the enchiladas pizza and both were very tasty. The Suppa pep had a great blend with their hot honey. Wait staff was excellent and very generous with topping off our appetizers when we needed some more bread and even topping off our our kids mocktails. Atmosphere was unique and fun for a family dinner with kids. We ate in the indoor patio area and in the middle of July and it was still very comfortable. Overall great place to mix it up from all the BBQ and Seafood places in Myrtle Beach

We visited this restaurant in early October 2025 while having a little vaca in Myrtle Beach. We all enjoyed everything we ordered and found the same tasty quality as our local mellow mushroom. I especially want to compliment our server Sabrina. She was very friendly and patient with our 6 yo daughter who loves to chat with anyone. She also had some recommendations for activities and sights in the area which were very helpful. Her service was also excellent.

Server did a great job 5 stars for him. Pizza was good but very fat, nobody needs this amount of cheese, I couldn’t feel anything else basically. Atmosphere needs to be improved it’s so dark I used phone flashlight to see what’s on my pizza. All together everything can be improved. Good luck!

Nestled conveniently across from Broadway at the Beach, this casual restaurant and sports bar boasts an impressive selection of 72 craft beers on tap, alongside a variety of bottled options.
Had a really bad experience at another ale House so was hesitant to go back to the chain but Happy I did. The service was wonderful. They even put the hurricanes playoff game with sound on the big screen. It was very much appreciated. They have a $5 Prosecco on tap! Came in perfect for the long games. All the food was much better than I remember it tasting and I enjoyed a few new items on the menu.

THEY ARE NO LONGER OPEN UNTIL 2AM!! After a late mid week night at boardwalk on the beach shopping our large ten plus person party went here at 11pm thinking they were open until 2am. We were greeted by one of the nicest waitresses I’ve ever dealt with, Captain Morgan (I’m serious). We ordered tons of food before hearing someone yell “last call” which when we asked apparently they only open until midnight during the week which hasn’t been updated online. Nonetheless we were treated no differently with service or food quality. The food while not from Gordon Ramsey hit the spot and without issues. Nice vegetarian options on the late night menu which was clutch. Overall they were tested unexpectedly and nailed it!! Will be saving this spot for future trips!!

Used to LOVE this place! This steak is supposed to be medium well. The chicken tenders are BURNT, overcooked and very very dry! I didn’t even receive my two sides of ranch I paid for! We started feeding the dogs and decided to take pics to warn others. They’ve gone downhill MASSIVELY. Called and spoke to a Megan, she said nothing she can do, contact DoorDash! I would have been happy if she said bring it back and we will remake it for you! This place is AWFUL on Customer satisfaction!

Went here for the 1st time with my parents on Saturday August 16th 2025. We went here because it is nearby the legends theatre and we were going to see a show there that night. This was nearest to the theater and within walking distance. We entered and was greeted by a host, who sat us down at a table. table was comfortable, at least. Then, we looked over the menu. Our waiter, greeted us and was very nice. We started with 3 waters, and I ordered a watermelon margarita, and my dad a pina colada. Only for our server to come back and say that we didn't have pina colada mix. And they almost brought out a strawberry daiquiri. But then my dad just had a long island iced tea, which he liked. I enjoyed my watermelon margarita, only thing is i wanted no salt on the rim, and there was sugar or salt on it. I drank around it, but when the server asked me, I said nothing on the rim. drink was good tho. For appetizer we started with the nachos. The nachos were really good with spicy jalophenos and cheese, and chicken on it, plus guacamole! We took a moment and looked around us, there were sports on every tv and we even found a Mets game on one of them and started watching it. My dad went to use the bathroom and saw the bar which had darts, and a pool table. Nachos came out very quickly and in a timely manner, and were very enjoyable! For entrees, I ordered the Cajun Shrimp Pasta, My dad ordered the same, but no mushrooms, and my mom ordered a chicken sandwich. Again entrees came out in a timely manner, and was very delicious, and the portions of the entrees are big. For once I didn't finish my entree, but it sure was delicious! the other people in my party also enjoyed the food. Oh, and only feedback is Why are the shrimps on a sckewer? Honestly it's so much better when the meat is in the food itself. Anyways. We got the check quickly, and paid our bill via credit card and left a cash tip. Would Love to come again sometime!

Nothing Special going on in here🤷🏻‍♂️ We were seated immediately 👍🏻 Greeted by our waitress Olivia and we ordered our appetizers and meals 👍🏻 After about 20 minutes Olivia brings us our food. We question her as to where our appetizers are as we never got them. She appeared surprised and offered to go get the appetizer. I declined and told her to just cancel the appetizer since our food was here already. We then started to eat our meal. The fries were very cold to touch!👎🏻 My burger was very bland. It appeared to be a middle grade quality frozen patty. However, it was cooked correctly to my satisfaction. The chicken was pretty tender, but had a very bland taste. We never ate any of the fries on either order as due to the temperature. We made Olivia aware of the temperature of the fries, but chose not to order and wait for a replacement. The Bottom Line: Although nothing negative really happened, this place would not be on my suggestion list to anyone. I would try someplace else before coming back or suggesting this place. When paying Beware: They charge a 2.78% fee when using a credit card. 🙄👎🏻

We had an absolute great experience today Thursday October 2nd for lunch. Our server was Katie. One of the best of the best. Very friendly, very professional and pure joy! The food was great, the beer choices were plentiful. The Manager was also very attentive. We can’t wait to go back.

The staff was supervised. The food wasn't bad at all, really tasty. I had shimp and ribs. The shimps, yes, really tasty. The sauce for the rids, amazin. However, the rids were a little overcooked, but not unbareful at all. The salads are amazing. I'll go again.

I always get a good meal here. This is one of my more visited restaurants in the Myrtle Beach area. It’s easy to find, plenty of parking, and there usually isn’t a wait. Large restaurant with a large bar. Big tables and booths. The place has partially separated rooms so it feels cozy but has everything of a large restaurant. Large variety of beer on tap. The service is usually good. Wait staff have always been courteous and polite. Fairly large menu with lots of options but it is mostly what I call bar food. It’s not a gourmet restaurant but is an easy place to get a good meal, have a beer, and relax. The price is on par with equivalent restaurants in the area but I do think the food here is a little bit better. Go try it, you’ll like it.

Not sure why this has such a low review that atmosphere is amazing and I love the 50 beer pours on tap. The atmosphere is more sports bar but definitely family-friendly. Our server Nicole was amazing she went out of her way to help us and was so friendly and down-to-earth it made it even easier to love this place. My husband and I got the grilled chicken tacos and they were very good, if we lived in the area we would definitely become regulars.

American Tap House is a fun spot with a lively atmosphere and great service. The wings were really good and full of flavor, and the burger, however, wasn’t as good as I had hoped, which is why I’m giving four stars instead of five. Terrible all around. Food not the best and for the price, the portions are bs! Gabby was a terrible server. Should find something else to do. Rude, slow, has no clue on how to wait tables. We were her only table, I ran out of drink and sat there for a while without one, not once checked in on how our food is, they were out of food and she came back like 10+ mins after ordering and all she says is we’re out of that, then sets the menu in front of my daughter. Had plenty of time to joke and have a good time with the bartender but not to actually wait on us. Wont ever be back. Maybe the beer is good, they have plenty on tap, but I guarantee anything else is not. Was just there to watch sports and have a meal. So if you’re going for beer then maybe. The food and the service sucks

Had a great meal here with my family. The customer service was super friendly and fast. Food was fast and hot, drinks were cold and replenished quickly. My hamburger and fries were delicious, I really like their way of making fries. The wife and daughter had the fish tacos and loved them. Son had a bacon cheeseburger and woofed it down. The decor is great, the facility was clean and organized. Lots of tvs going, with games playing. Lots of open space also, it makes it nicer when you are not crowded, eating over someone. Once again the service was a big deal to me, everyone was awesome! Nice job!

We stopped in because it was hot out. The atmosphere was nice. We enjoyed the chance to just hang out and chat while cooling off. The menu is a bit pricey as we only ordered an appetizer, drink, and 1 beer and the total came to $31, including tip/which I didn't mind because our waitress, Sydney, was awesome. Great place by the water. You can choose the hustle and bustle at the bar socializing, or choose the serenity of sitting out doors under the lights. The food, and our long legged server friend were all spot on! We were down with local Business, but stopping in for dinner and drinks was a Pleasure!

Food was good. I had the 615 hot and my wife had the avocado burger. Both were good. They have an outdoor stage with live music. We saw Freebird, a Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute band. It was a great show. The only issue we had was that the show was advertised as starting at 6 or 630 and it did not start until 730. They did have an opening singer but we wish it would have been advertised more clearly.

We really enjoyed this place. We would’ve given five stars but my fish tacos were just ok…. Kinda bland. I ate the fish by itself and it was good. Hubby had an oyster platter that was good. I highly recommend the shrimp nachos. They were amazing! Our waitress was good but we had to flag her down for refills. We will definitely go back for those nachos! The prices were very reasonable as well!

Very energetic place with a lot of comforts. It's set up can accommodate the ones into the bar scene and those who want the restaurant feel with the option to shut out looking at the river. I was very impressed and so were my family from Florida! The service was great and the food was so good with lots to choose from and dessert! My sister who is vegan had her salad delivered in a really gorgeous bowl and it looked so good!😋💕 I am going to share my food but be warned I had began biting into my food and stopped to take my photo😂😋💕 We had a very adorable young lady to serve our food and she was a pro at her job, she served with excellence. The bar area was a little loud and lit (made me laugh), but they were watching all kind of sports! I was outback and viewing and I'm also noisy watching sports! I didn't come on an entertainment night, but I know I heard some music one evening as I was passing by! We all really enjoyed the place and it's on our favorite list! And my sister found that bowl and ordered two bowls for me. I will be using them real soon! [Visited on August 2025]

What a disappointment. But let me explain. I chose this restaurant tonight. The atmosphere was great! Fun, pretty outside by the water. Most people will have zero issues and will love this place. But if you have allergies and need to make substitutions you need to look elsewhere. I have a baby and am currently breastfeeding. She has allergies so I cannot eat eggs, dairy, or soy. Thus, it is difficult finding places for me to eat in addition to making sure the rest of my family will be happy. I figured I would get a burger without a bun and make some substitutions. I always have to do this. I just did this last night at River City Cafe and they had zero issues with this. I highly recommend River City Cafe, they are very accommodating for people with allergies. But not this place. I asked for the jalapeno pimento cheese burger for 13.99. It made the most since because it had everything I wanted on it and I thought I could substitute the "lots and lots" of pimento cheese for avocado or something. When I asked they said no. I asked them to double check with the manager and let them know I have a food allergy and the manager said no. I could take the bun and pimento cheese off and add other things for a dollar. Zero substitutions. It didn't make sense to me, because if it were a slice of cheese I would get it. But the pimento cheese and a couple slices of avocado or really anything that's dairy, egg, and soy free would have seemed like a normal trade off. Like I said, River City Cafe substituted everything I asked yesterday and was so kind and understanding about it. At this point it wasn't about the money, it was the principal. I just got a side of fries as my meal. Figured it would tide me over until I got back to the hotel to eat. When the manager (Jack) came out to try to explain, I told him I 100% understand their policy. I used to be a server for several years, but my manager was so much more customer focused and customer satisfaction came first. At the end of the day I wasn't able to get a bun or pimento cheese due to allergies. Asking to throw on a couple slices of avocado on it or if not avocado I would have taken anything. Pickles maybe? But no. I don't want Jack or anyone to get in trouble, because well he did what he believed to be right. He values policy over customer satisfaction. My diet is so hard, but so worth it for my baby. But man, this is the first time in 7 months that I haven't had an accommodating restaurant. I hope this review makes its way to the owner so maybe they can consider making exceptions for those who are unable to eat anything on their menu without making a substitution. So if you have no allergies you'll love this place, if you do have allergies, skip it and go to River City Cafe instead.

Nestled in the vibrant atmosphere of Myrtle Beach, Strong Waters Craft Cocktails and Kitchen is a charming venue that captures the essence of Prohibition-era decor while offering a modern twist on American cuisine. This delightful outpost is renowned for its extensive selection of craft cocktails, meticulously categorized into five unique sections to cater to every palate. Whether you're in the mood for refreshing Day Drinking options like Hair of the Dog or intriguing Light and Interesting choices such as Honeysuckle Mule, there's something for everyone.
We had a great experience for happy hour at Strong Waters in late February. We had the sliders and the low country shrimp dip and both were excellent. There were some amazing cocktails on their menu but we stuck with beer (in my case it was because of the great happy hour price, and for my husband that's just pretty much all he drinks). There was little crowd on this Friday during the early part of happy hour but there is plenty of room in this place to handle the uptick of folks headed in now for spring and summers. Some of the staff seemed to still be training but they were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. Food was fantastic and the prices at happy hour were incredible. There was a gentleman setting up for live music as we left and I wish we could have stayed for that. We'll be back in a few weeks and this place is likely to end up on our list of places we will return. We typically stay at one of the HGVC resorts and all 3 are walking distance which is a plus for us but this place would be worth a drive into downtown. Even our favorite bartender down the road likes this place :)

This place is right next to the beach; recently opened for lunch (also dinner) and is freaking Phenomenal!! I got the brisket as a suggestion and as a GA 🍑 born and bread good BBQ is hard to find. This brisket was so TINDER! So flavorful and I ate it all! Customer service was amazing and I will absolutely recommend 💯 and will come back when I’m in town! CARA (bartender) & BRAD (cook) way to go!! Don’t let the lack of people make you pass on this place! It’s definitely a hidden gem!

My family visiting from New Jersey went to this restaurant. Two older adults and two younger adults. The restaurant was fantastic! There were menus posted outside so you can check out the choices. Drinks and food- everything was good, but the shrimp and brisket were excellent! OMG the desserts - Banana cheesecake trifle and lemon bars with strawberry sauce. Oh yeah, big plus that makes his place One of the ones we will go back to is that the entire staff was pleasant and our waiter, Timothy, was professional, friendly, made great suggestions and also made our drinks. Look at the funky epoxy tables! Very cool vibe at Strong Waters!

Food, atmosphere and service was good, did feel that the cost was a little high and my fish in my fish tacos was a bit dry. It was good but not "Great" food. Best thing we had was the crab cake which I didn't get a photo of, because it was gone before I thought of it. We would be willing to try this place again.

This place is a total vibe!! We had such an amazing experience the first night, we looked for other places in the area to eat but ended up going back to Strong Waters. The drinks and food were phenomenal. They had a young girl playing live music. The young girl from the 1st night could literally sing anything you requested. She was a doll and absolutely killed it. She was great! The guy the 2nd night was a letdown after her performance the night before. He had a nice voice but couldn't do any of our requests 🤷🏼‍♀️. We really loved our pregnant waitress from the first night. The lady on the 2nd night was okay. Overall, a complete 10/10!

FANTASTIC time at Strong Waters! After dropping our son at CCU, we had our first "date night" (in a while) and chose Strong Waters. The service was EXCELLENT by Sky (the server) and Di (the bartender). The cocktails were mixed with care and delicious. The food was incredible and original as we tried the unique things offered on the menu. Although tucked away and hard to find (as a "speakeasy" should be ;), this is definitely a diamond in the rough. Find it, and enjoy it! Highly recommended.

Having spent a significant part of my life in F&B I have to say this place made a HUGE impression on me! The craft cocktails were top notch and a big shout out to the bartenders for going the extra mile and offering up smoked cocktails served up in a glass dome!! We are from MI and this was our first trip to Myrtle Beach. We liked it so much we came back for our second night and had dinner..I cannot say enough about the Brisket tacos and the Chicken Asada Tacos.

Great little craft drink venue on the Strip. Nice atmosphere with friendly staff and occasional live music. The drinks tasted great, and there were some very creative cocktail recipes. My only complaint was that these great recipes were all served over bar ice instead of the large ice balls that several deserved.

Black Drum Brewing, located at Kingston Plantation, offers stunning ocean views and a spacious indoor area with ample natural light. The large patio provides an option for outdoor seating. The menu features a delightful blend of southern-inspired dishes such as BBQ, upscale bar food like loaded French fries, and delectable wood-fired pizza. With over 30 beers from North and South Carolina on tap, there's something for every beer enthusiast.
I got the fried chicken sandwich, and my wife got the pulled pork bbq plate. Everything was great. Sandwich and pork were delicious, the hush puppies were great. Cucumber salad could have used a little more salt & pepper, but you can season it yourself to your taste. I'm sure it gets very loud & busy later in the day, but we were just about the only people there when we went right when it opened. If you are a Hilton gold or diamond, and staying at the condos, rather than the hotel (where they give you complimentary breakfast), you can use your daily dining credit here. Prices aren't the cheapest, but it's a great use of your credit. Service was VERY slow. Our waiter was friendly and apologetic, but I have no idea why it would take nearly half an hour to get our food out when like I said, there was almost no one else there.

Enjoyed an evening out on the patio with live music! Tyler was a great server and kept us happy the entire time. Make sure you get reservations since they will fill up fast especially for larger parties. The food was delicious and the drinks were good too! Highly recommend and will go back next time were in town.

Located within the Kingston Resorts, this brewery had a lot going on. The guitarist Saturday night was good! I wish I could actually "see" his performance but his was located at the entrance & was hidden by the brewery service rack. Our server JOSH was amazing! So accommodating & polite! 🙌🏾 I had the Carolina Low Country Shrimp with SC Jumbo Shrimp, Fresh Corn On The Cob, Kielbasa Sausage, Red Bliss Potatoes Charleston Broth, Clarified Butter, Lemons, Boil Dust and Sweet Rolls.... delicious, but the only thing I'd do differently next time is request 'light" seasoning. 🥵 Also, the well prepared Pan Seared Flounder with Lemon Garlic Cream Sauce| Carolina Dirty Rice| Butter Seared Asparagus was good. The Fire Roasted Oysters were some of the best I've ever tasted 🥰😋 Two things I could do without (totally personal) loved her spirit, but the annoying dancing lady going from table to table like Tinkerbell from Peter Pan & the unmanaged children running around the brewery like it's Chucky Cheese!

We went to the embassy suites by Hilton amd came to black drum and they are absolutely amazing. The atmosphere is amazing. Everyone is super friendly. There drinks are tasteful and even when I asked what one drink was, they offered to let me try it first and the drink did not make you second guess. It was absolutely amazing! And for an individual who is picky about fish and chips, theirs is absolutely to die for! Does not have a fishy taste and is super soft and falls apart. I would absolutely recommend this company/establishment.

Came here for the Ginger's Revenge on tap for my wife. Outdoor seating is nice, especially in the shade. Great breeze. Ordered food: cup and char pizza with hot honey, pouting, sides of green beams and hush puppies. Water for me, one 20oz draft for my wife. The pizza is absolutely horrible. The "topping" of hot honey was presented in a cup on top of the pizza. Initially annoyed, I found it to be a bonus, as the honey butter also was almost inedible, until I added the honey from the pizza. That was then, a winner. The hush puppies were decent with the modified butter. The poutine my wife said was filling. It had a pretty good taste, but was cold by the time I tried it. It needed more cheese and gravy for my taste. The green beans were eaten without comment. Skip this place if you want a good meal. As a plus, you'll save money, too. Our bill with tip was well north of $80. Might be difficult to do, as once you're back in the area, you feel a little trapped, making Black Drum more of a convenience.

Here on business trip solo. Needed an early dinner after travel and checking in next door at Embassy Suites. Host was friendly and able to get me to a seat almost immediately. Menu had a nice selection of food choices. I went with the ‘Certified Clucker Sandwhich’. It came with the spice-battered fries and pickles on the side. I went with an additional Green Beans side. Food came out quick. Waitress was attentive. The food portion was large (I couldn’t finish) and was excellent tasting.

We visited Black Drum (while on vacay - based upon a TikTok review). The restaurant itself is nice. The service was extremely slow, and the food really didn’t live up to the hype. The Mac & Cheese and veggies were probably a 4/10 (at best), the mashed potatoes were awesome (8/10), and brisket (per my bf) was a 6/10.
Carmen W — Google review
This brewery was stunning! The food was on the more expensive side, but worth every penny! My husband got an IPA and said it was really good. We got the poutine fries and Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese was a little dry, but those poutine fries were amazing. Would definitely go back and try some other options.

Delicious food worth every penny. They add a 15% "gratuity" automatically to each check but the food was delicious so we didn't mind. We got the chicken egg rolls, coconut shrimp and the coastal platter. Would come back!

Wow, I just had the best time at a place with amazing outdoor seating right by the ocean in Myrtle Beach! The views were absolutely stunning, and I could have stayed there all night. Plus, the service was incredible, with the sweetest server named Shanaiya. She was so attentive and made sure we had everything we needed – such a wonderful person. The was good and I will try something different next time. The manager Nick was doing a good job. I will say that there is an automatic 15% gratuity add it to the bill.

The view is beautiful! We had really good service and there were 6 of us and she was spot on. The food is delicious and fairly priced. If you want a unique dining experience on the ocean, please give this place a try. Oh yeah.....The Mason Jar drink is HUGE!

Home run! Lunch on a weekday with a great ocean view! Fast, friendly service. Cute atmosphere. The food though....phenomenal. the lobster rolls were wonderful and the fish and chips was the best I've had and I'm from New England. Just crispy outside and flaky inside with a perfect seasoning. Highly recommend these dishes.

RipTydz in Myrtle Beach has a nice oceanfront location right on the boardwalk, with great views from its large multi-level setup. The place is spacious, but if you’re going with a big group, be prepared for a long wait—reservations are highly recommended. They have a good seafood-focused menu; I enjoyed the fried calamari and lobster rolls. Prices are average for a beachfront spot. However, the restaurant was very hot during our visit—only the second floor has air conditioning, and the fans on the other levels just aren’t enough. Service also fell short—one of our group’s meals was forgotten, and they had to wait an extra 15 minutes with no apology or acknowledgment from the staff. Overall, just an average experience despite the great setting.
Erick ( — Google review
We went because Google said it was a good place to watch the sunset. Wrong! Do not go here expecting to see any sort of views of the sunset. The food was OK and service was good but they take your card as soon as you are seated before brining you anything. Then they automatically add 15% service fee (tip) on all tabs. It's crazy windy on the roof, do not go looking cute with your hair down. Put your hair up if you plan on eating food without your hair blowing in your face. And you won't be able to see what you're eating anyway. They have string lights but you'll want to use your flashlight to see the menu or what's on your plate. Do not order Mega Mason drinks, they are so big that there is no alcohol at all. You'll also be charged extra to have your photo taken or get a balloon animal. Steamers are plenty of food for 2 people. But they won't tell you that. We had a good time but won't go back. $250 dinner for 2 is NOT worth it!
Amber M — Google review
Excellent place to eat! My husband and I sat in the covered patio where we got to enjoy the beautiful view. Our server was AMAZING! She gave us multiple recommendations of places to see and things to do while we were visiting the area. The food was a little pricey, but so worth it. We will definitely be back!

1st time eating there and definitely had a good time. We got the out table but it was a little cool outside so we went back in. Everyone was very helpful and polite. Nice view for the time we did spend outside. I got the frozen pineapple pina colada, it leaked a little but if i drank too fast I'd have a brain freeze. Still good though. The chicken eggrolls were amazing. The pub chips were ok. My family really like the wonton. The bacon mac n cheese was ok. The fried chicken tasted good. Fries were on point. Cool place to eat and enjoy view. Food was alright.

The Market Common in Myrtle Beach is a vibrant mixed-use neighborhood with a variety of shops, dining options, and entertainment. Situated on the former Air Force base grounds, this trendy area offers unique boutiques, bars, restaurants, and a movie theater. Throughout the year, visitors can enjoy free events such as Movies Under the Stars, art festivals, New Year's Eve celebrations, and complimentary carriage rides.
My usual place to walk in Georgetown experienced some flooding issues, I decided picked a spot familiar to me in Market Commons. Initially, I chose to walk the perimeter of the main water areas near Savannah’s Place (playground I take my granddaughters); before extending down towards an Italian restaurant. I realized I had never fully explored all Market Commons had to offer, navigating twists and turns until 10K+ of steps were completed. There’s curiosity and mental notes of shops and restaurants to add to my list; which I enthusiastically look forward to!

Folks, let me tell you, The Market Commons is tremendous, absolutely fantastic! It's great for the kids, perfect for walking your dog, and grabbing a bite... really safe, super clean. Honestly, it’s probably the best spot in Myrtle Beach, no question. We need to make Five Points downtown just as incredible, rebuild it to this standard, believe me!

The Market Common is a dynamic and vibrant destination that offers a delightful mix of shopping, dining, and entertainment. This charming area has quickly become a local favorite and a must-visit spot for visitors looking to experience the best of Myrtle Beach beyond the beach Located just a 15-minute drive from the beach and right across from the state park, it's conveniently close to many of the area’s main attractions. The Market Common district has emerged as one of the most coveted places to live along the Grand Strand (aka Myrtle Beach). Among the top three new communities in Market Common are Meridian, Belle Harbor, and The Battery, each offering its own distinct appeal and lifestyle.

This place could be sooo good but unfortunately the leasing office is a disorganized mess. Besides I never buy into an HOA so although it looks good on paper, it really does just suck. Pretends to have “community” but it’s all a farce. Wouldn’t recommend until they figure out what it is that they are actually selling in the first place. My gut says “NO”.

Market commons is in my opinion a very nice place. You don’t see or have to deal with any type of let’s just say entitled people. There are a lot of shopping areas not to mention restaurants. There are areas all over to sit and just watch people walking or just sit and relax. Every one seems to be respectful and friendly. I enjoy my time spent there. Just park and walk and look, shop and eat. Try it out you’ll enjoy I promise.

Taco Mundo Kitchen y Cantina is a laid-back Mexican eatery located near Beach Cove Resort in North Myrtle Beach. The restaurant offers a wide range of Mexican dishes, from taco platters to fajitas, along with an impressive selection of mezcal and margaritas. Guests can enjoy live music, Happy Hour specials, and outdoor dining with views of the Intracoastal Waterway.
This was such a delight to visit. I originally was going to get a rice bowl, but the server suggested I try the tacos. I had asked him for his suggestion and it did not disappoint at all. I ended up getting the grilled fish taco and BBQ brisket taco. He recommended the street corn. The grilled fish taco was great, but it did not even compare close to how delicious the BBQ brisket taco was. The server kept my sweet tea flowing, I got down to 1/4 a cup left, and I had another one on the way. I told him a max of 3 is all I wanted, and he remembered that, and once I hit my 3rd glass, he brought no more and didn't even ask. That is what you call great service. Listened to me and didn't try pushing anything else on me and the wife. The atmosphere is really great there as well, if you watch the workers they don't sit idle. If they are caught up, they grab a broom and sweep of areas to keep it nice and clean. Overall, this was a really great experience, and I appreciate the banter with the server! We spent roughly $70 for me, the wife, and our 2 year old toddler. So it is a really good price for the quality of the food you are getting. I wouldn't have been upset to pay double that for what I got.

We had a great time at Taco Mundo at Bare Foot landing. We were sat immediately, even at 730 in the peak of the busy season. While it was hot in the restaurant, the service was great. Joseph did an amazing job taking care of us. The food came out promptly and tasted great. They even brought us multiple types of hot sauce. Everyone at the table enjoyed their food and time at Taco Mundo.

Excellent service, drinks and food! The orange and loco coco margaritas were excellent! The bean & queso dip was a huge portion and so yummy! The Birria & Rice Bowl was wonderful and the tacos were such a great variety. Oh and the Mexican street corn was amazing too!

Just a really great experience at Taco Mundo this evening. We had a party of 6 and 3 dogs and we could not have been treated better. The hostess, the other staff, and a special shout out to our server and bartender Anthony who was exceptional. He was personable, gave great recommendations, and anticipated our every need. Unreasonable Hospitality. The food was good and came out fast. Thank you Taco Mundo for such a great experience!

Taco Mundo Kitchen y Cantina is a fantastic spot for delicious Mexican cuisine with a modern twist. The atmosphere is lively and colorful, and the staff is warm and welcoming. The food is bursting with fresh flavors — from perfectly seasoned tacos to creative sides — every bite was a treat. Overall, Taco Mundo delivers on both flavor and experience, making it a place I’ll gladly return to again and again.

The place was hoppin on a Saturday night. Fun lively place. We ate at the bar so we weren't able to gauge the usual table service. Had the taco platter. Tacos were very good. Fresh and full. We come again.

First time visiting Myrtle Beach with my family for this year summer vacations and we came to barefoot landing area to do some sightseeing and shopping for souvenirs, we went to taco mundo for dinner and for last minute without reservations we got a table right away, we have Vanessa as our server for that night and she made our dinner experience here so much easier, she attended to all our needs and keep on checking on us if we needed anything, the place is well decorated and there is so many photo opportunities inside even outside seating is nice and cozy you can see the boat and yacht, the place is well maintained, bathroom is not too bad, the food is good it's freshly made and came right on time, the price is reasonable. The only downside of this place is lacking on the food and drinks presentation it should be look appetizing, I have been to so much Mexican restaurant and They usually serve food with fancy or artistic presentations, the tacos is ok , my daughter chicken tenders is too little of a servings, the steak is perfectly cooked and my husband enjoyed it, over all I recommend this place to try it and we are definitely coming back next time we come to barefoot landing area to try some of the food and drinks on the menu.

Beachfront bar & grill, but otherwise, nothing spectacular. Service was good. Food was decent. Stopped in for lunch; 2 appetizers, chicken sandwich, chicken wrap and 1 cocktail with a MANDATORY 18% gratuity totaled $90! I understand wanting to ensure that your staff is taken care of, but mandatory gratuity, regardless of party size, is unprofessional. Tipping is OPTIONAL! And guess what, as a former server, I would likely tip at least 20% standard unless I'm being forced to. So by the restaurant imposing a "service fee", you are likely costing your employees money.
John N — Google review
Ordered mozzarella sticks and grilled chicken sandwich with fries. Also ordered a strawberry daiquiri. The chicken lacked flavor and the mozzarella sticks were over cooked. They also add 18% gratuity. They have two signs hanging up that say that. One by the door and one by the register. Luckily I noticed that because the servers dont tell you. They should tell you its auto added

Tried a couple different flights and a couple full size beers. So many choices, if you can’t find something you like then you probably just don’t like beer. My personal favorite was the Frost Proof from Cigar City brewing Co.

My friend and I went here for brunch yesterday. I saw they had chicken & waffles which I've never had so I was excited to try them. I was very disappointed. The chicken was not seasoned so it was bland. The waffles had a good flavor but were very greasy. Overall it was an unappetizing meal. My friend enjoyed her Hangover Burger and Lavender Lemonade though. We both really enjoyed the music. It was a great hangout spot. I would be willing to try something else on the menu.

We had the Baja chicken pizza which was delicious, along with the blackened dry rub chicken wings that were excellent. The beer selections rock. All tried were fantastic. Something for everyone. Slightly disappointed with the waitress. She was super friendly just slow. But the food and beer were TOTALLY worth it. BTW if you order water make sure you are clear how many you want. We had two people in our party and she only brought one water. Honesty, who does that?

This review is addressed to the management of The Brass Tap with a hopefully actionable suggestion. I have been to Brass Tap a few times over a couple years, I actually found I have a membership on the App though I could not find my card. Overall I like the place and would go again but your Happy Hour is very hard to navigate for the “professional” beer drinker on a tight budget. It’s great that there are $4 taps on some very interesting beers (Mon-Fri 4-7, not weekends unfortunately), but the information is not transparent as to which ones. I had to keep asking my server and although she was polite throughout I could sense she felt I was becoming a pain. The Concept of hanging little tags on the tap handles and changing the HH lineup every day is good, but the tap handles are too far to read (and many of them have a generic tap handle anyway). When I brought this up with my server she told me (echoing one of the manager’s comments to another reviewer) it would be “too much trouble” to create a HH beer list since they change the beers every day. My unexpressed reaction was - how hard could it be, even once a day, to just write down the names of the daily HH beers and have them in a plastic folder that could be kept at the bar and just handed to interested beer drinkers like me (no need to even make copies)? This would take like 2 minutes at the start of each day. As an aside, relating to other bars with similar policies (even worse, those with no beer prices or menus at all!), I just have to say that as someone on a retiree budget it is kind of demeaning to have to constantly ask what is or is not part of the Happy Hour. I freely admit, I visit places like The Brass Tap specifically to drink craft beers at HH prices. Please consider this suggestion! Thank you. PS: the HH food was quite a good deal. My 3-star rating is based on the above and would be improved if addressed.

With a history dating back 20 years to Nashville's Music Row, Tin Roof takes pride in its dedication to live music. The rooftop patio provides an open-air space for soloists and duos to perform while overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
Decided to grab a bite after work with some coworkers…needless to say, we weren’t disappointed. It was a little slow..but it was Monday night. Great atmosphere, waiter and bartender were on point. Food…spectacular. One of the best ocean view spots to grab a drink and a bite to eat. Definitely going back.

To be honest, the place looked a little sad and dirty. But the nachos and drinks were very good. Our bartender was great and service was quick. Nice view was well.

Food was sooo good. The waiter had some great recommendations. Drinks were tasty. I'd Def go back. The view was lovely on the balcony.

We came in shortly after they opened and were able to seat ourselves and order right away. It wasn’t busy yet, which was nice. We had the Turkey Club, Cheeseburger, and Memphis Rib Rub wings—everything was delicious! Great drink selection and chill vibes with a nice view of the ocean. Would definitely go back!

Went there on Saturday night was not crowded order a drink and had a sit at one of the table I couldn't get the waitress to come back. They walked all around us to other people but would not come to ask If we needed another drink or wanted to order food so we left after waiting for 45 minute once we was leaving. One of the waitress said you all have a Good night now. How about that? They could ask if we needed anymore to drink But they could tell us to have a Good night when we was was leaving so you tell me what that's was about. So we went downstairs to the club legendary a great time.No problems.Food was good and the waitress was on point

Came in at 9:30 pm for the live band, we were told we couldn't enter without an id. I get it if we were in our 20's or even 30's..... but we are in our 60's! Went back to the hotel and got our id's, wish we didn't waste the time. If we wanted to smell pot. It was great .. we see the clientele they want. Have been to other Tin Roof establishments and not had this type of an experience. Will not go back or recommend
Linda B — Google review
The place has a great view, and the bartender was friendly. That said, we were charged 64 dollars for 4 shots of so so tequila. I've been to a lot of bars, but to charge that much for a non speciality shot and not giving a forewarning is pretty ridiculous. You can get a good speciality drink in most upscale restaurants in expensive cities. Feels like we were ripped off and ruined the experience.

Cute rooftop bar. Great music. Was noticeably a younger crowd. Security was great, and very attentive. Great drinks, although I ordered the same drink 3 times and all three times it tasted different. That was a bit disappointing, but didn’t ruin my night! Really enjoyed the vibes here.

This place is definitely a must try for the tasting. 11 taste for $10! You can not beat that! Moonshine and Vodka! The flavored liquor was actually pretty good. Some of the best I tasted. Our worker was amazing. The place was hard to find because it is construction all over with NO signs just wood. Had to ask around to find it. Very clean. Would definitely recommend this place.

This was a wonderful experience to do a tasting. Chloe was out bartender and gave us fantastic recommendations for what each of our group members liked. Her personality really shined through and gave us a memorable experience. We got a cocktail to go, the Hillbilly Sunrise and it was excellent. This is a wonderful stop on the Boardwalk.

American restaurant
Nestled in Barefoot Landing, Big Chill Island House offers stunning views of the Intracoastal Waterway and a laid-back island ambiance. The decor is top-notch, and the hospitable staff adds to the relaxed atmosphere. The menu features expertly crafted island cuisine with a focus on fresh seafood, pork, chicken, and beef dishes. The spacious interior boasts large windows that provide breathtaking waterway views while outdoor seating allows guests to enjoy cocktails amidst beautiful surroundings.
Had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The mimosas were spot on, and the ambiance, music, and view made for the perfect setting. The food was incredible—especially the ribs and wings, which were full of flavor and cooked to perfection. And a big shoutout to our waitress Shannon, who was absolutely the best. Can’t wait to come back!
M L — Google review
We celebrated our wedding anniversary here; as soon as we sat down one of the managers brought us each a glass of champagne, on the house, as a congrats which felt so thoughtful and special (plus it was delicious!) The inside and outside ambiance of this restaurant is unmatched and the location is great, being on the Intracoastal Waterway and at the Barefoot Landing (if you’re coming for dinner give yourself extra time to arrive with all the traffic!) The crab hush puppies with lemon aioli and hot honey butter were tasty. The low country pasta had good flavor but the chicken and pork belly were pretty tough. Ribs were good, but the frozen key lime pie was great, especially in the summer heat! This place is definitely worth it to visit.
Allison — Google review
We had great service and love tge atmosphere! Beautiful views too! We had the pork sliders for appetizer and then I had the chicken pimento cheese sandwich, which was delicious. My husband had the tuna poke bowl which he loved as well! A couple friends had the island bowl, which they were not fans of. But all in all, a great night!
Jenifer S — Google review
As a local, I really wanted to like this place but unfortunately, it was just ok. The best part about my experience was the view outside of the waterway and the live music from Super Reggae Man! He was awesome! The best appetizer was the crab hushpuppies, however, the butter and sauce did not taste good. The loaded fries also had a sauce that was too strong. The chicken in my salad did not taste fresh and was more like a frozen cutlet that was grilled. The fish and chips were good and the tartar sauce was the only sauce that was good with our meal. Service was friendly but nothing above and beyond. Cocktails had extra large pieces of fruit instead of actual drink. Overall, the cheap food quality did not match the overpricing on the menu.
Jess M — Google review
My friends and I visited Big Chill for brunch after a recommendation, and overall, it was a pretty good experience with room for improvement on the food side. We started with the calamari appetizer — hands down the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly crispy, flavorful, and not greasy. Definitely the star of our visit. I also tried the poke bowl, which was just okay — not bad, but not something I’d order again. My friend had the pimento club, which was decent, and another friend ordered the chicken peanut mango salad. The name sounded exciting, but the taste didn’t quite live up to it — still okay, just not memorable. One major highlight was the Moscato. It was so good I had two glasses — probably would’ve ordered the bottle if I wasn’t driving. Sweet, smooth, and refreshing. The service was excellent. Our server was friendly, very attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. She answered our questions with ease and had such a warm, bright smile — a real gem. The ambiance was lovely — stylish interior, great view, and a chill atmosphere that’s perfect for catching up with friends. Food-wise, there’s definitely room to improve. What we had wasn’t bad, but it could be elevated more. Still, it’s a good starting point — and with standout items like the calamari, there’s potential for the rest of the menu to shine just as much.
Donnabelle R — Google review
Went here while on vacation the past weekend. Service and atmosphere were great. The food looked great. The taste fell short. There wasn't much flavor. The lobster roll was small for the price. The low country pasta flavor was just ok. Pulled was ok. Salmon didn't have much flavor. The ceviche was too runny and small. I was disappointed.
Alonzo J — Google review
Great burgers and drinks, atmosphere and service! We sat inside which was also open to the back outside patio. Also had the pulled pork sandwich. I was not a fan of the BBQ sauce as it was spicy for me, prefer a sweet sauce. Patio view was amazing!

Resort hotel
The Caribbean Resort and Villas in Myrtle Beach has been a beloved destination for over 40 years. The property offers a variety of accommodations, including oceanfront rooms, condos, and private Chelsea Villas. Guests can enjoy an array of amenities such as a spa, game room, on-site restaurant, tiki bar, Starbucks, and Ben and Jerry's.
We stayed here 9/20/25 - 9/28/25 celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. We can say enough. We arrived 2 hours early. Alex at registration was more then accommodating. He not only checked us in but informed us if we were willing we could be given a room on a higher flood. Of course we took the "upgrade". We ending up with a corner room on a higher flood. The room was very clean and spacious. Housekeeping came every other day to give clean towels, collect the used towels and trash. The concierge service was great. Nicole recommended Wicked Tuna(not officiated with the TV show). It's a fresh sea food restaurant and it was fabulous. We also had dinner at Rizo, which we also highly recommend. Thank up so much to the SUPER staff at Carribean Resort and Villas for such a great experience. Looking for to seeing you next year

We recently stayed at the Caribbean Resort in Myrtle Beach, and overall, it’s a lovely place. The hotel itself is very nice — clean, modern, and beautifully updated. The furniture and rooms felt fresh and comfortable, and we especially appreciated the large TVs with all the streaming apps we like to use. It really made our stay feel up to date and enjoyable. However, there were a few issues that made our experience less than perfect. Even though we had a full kitchen in our room, it wasn’t stocked well enough to actually cook meals. There weren’t enough dishes, and basic items like a skillet and a can opener were missing. For a resort that offers full kitchens, I feel like these essentials should definitely be included to make guests’ stays more convenient. Another issue was with the indoor pools. While we loved that they had them open during the winter, they were freezing cold. The pools didn’t seem to be heated, and there was a door left open that let cold air in the entire time. It made it hard to enjoy the amenities. If the pools are going to be open year-round, heating them should really be mandatory. We also had a frustrating experience trying to get pool towels. We had to go to the front desk for towel cards, which we never actually received. Then we were told we’d need to return towels to get the cards back, but the process was confusing and inconsistent depending on who was at the desk. It would be much easier if towels were simply available by the pool for guests to grab as needed. Lastly, the dryer in our room didn’t work properly. We tried several loads of laundry, but nothing dried. When maintenance came, we were told to do smaller loads, but we had already been doing that. Unfortunately, it never worked right. Overall, the Caribbean Resort is a beautiful property in a great location with modern, comfortable rooms. But a few improvements — like better kitchen supplies, heated indoor pools, easier access to towels, and working laundry appliances — would make a huge difference in the guest experience.

The check-in process was smooth and easy. The front desk staff were wonderful, and I really appreciated being able to check in early. I stayed in the Dominican Tower on the 15th floor the room was nicely renovated, and the ocean view was absolutely beautiful. However, there were a few issues during my stay. The pull-out couch mattress was soiled and should be replaced. The front door of the room faced the main strip, making it quite noisy at night, and the AC unit was loud and didn’t cool the room properly. I typically inspect the bedding upon arrival, but this time I didn’t. Before checking out, I stripped the bed and noticed a large yellow stain on the mattress cover, which was disappointing. Overall, my stay was pleasant, but I do hope these concerns are addressed to improve future guest experiences.

We highly recommend this Beautiful hotel. I only wish I could give it a higher rating. It is Beautiful on the outside and Beautiful on the inside. When we arrived here the two receptionist were so helpful and kind they are definitely a keeper to this Beautiful hotel. wonderful atmosphere!!! I ask there names,Yasmeen and Shannon. I probably would’ve given this place 4.5 stars, but my experience made me lower the rating. I would stay here again, beaucse my daugher had the time of her life, but I wouldn’t stay in the Jamacian. It was more of the older site. So now I know to book the Deluxe rooms for the updated version. Cons: I didn’t have AC the first night and for half of the next day. I called the front desk, and maintenance came to fix it, but when it finally started running, it gave off a bad smell, clearly from sitting unused for hours. I ended up turning it off and relying on the smaller unit in the back. There were large staples on the floor, which could’ve easily hurt my daughter. I just picked them up myself, but there were a lot. But the beds, tv's etc. I checked out a night early because of a disturbing incident at the pool. A man who was clearly high kept touching me and some of the younger girls playing with my daughter. He even followed us onto the elevator. I reported it to the front desk when checking out, but the young man working just said, “Have a safe trip home,” and didn’t seem concerned. Several amenities weren’t available, but you don’t realize that until you try to use them—like when we went to the slide area and found it closed. Someone defecated in the indoor pool, which caused it to close (understandable), but it made the outdoor pool extremely crowded. Pros: The location is perfect, less than 10 minutes from Broadway. The gift shop was great. The front desk staff at check-in were very polite and welcoming (even though there was later confusion about the deposit charges). There are restaurants and a bar on-site, so you don’t really need to leave the resort for meals. There’s a Starbucks and Ben & Jerry’s conveniently located nearby. The DJ and entertainment at the outdoor pool were fantastic and made for a fun atmosphere. The Beach is also located very close to the resort.

Wonderful time! We stayed in a two bedroom renovated oceanview unit that was gorgeous! Loved the beautiful coastline view. Great location, awesome wide oceanfront pool deck with great amenities, and friendly customer service. Convenient to walk over to Sea Captain’s for lunch or enjoy a drink from the Tiki bar while floating in the lazy river! Highly recommend!

Don't go here!!!!!! Worst experience ever for a "resort stay". I was VERY disappointed and mad 😡 even now because even after complaining to the manager and told we would receive a call back that day. That never happened! And two days later, still no call from management to resolve our issues. Front line staff are nice but the management are horrible!!! I just can't believe they don't care about anyone's satisfaction. Here were all our issues: 1.) We entered our hotel room which was very dark. Only one light/lamp in the room (although photo advertised showed two). The lamp had two bulbs but only one was working. The other was out. The shade was loose and wobbly. Maintenance got us a lightbulb but a manager promised a tall lamp that never showed up. 2.) The telephone in the room wasn't working. Maintenance was called and they tried to fix it; said that a phone company would need to fix this. Never worked our two days later stay so we were without a phone. 3.) we thought we would take a shower. No hot water. And VERY LITTLE water pressure. You had to stand directly under it to get a shower. Maintenance got us hot water finally but water pressure still low. 4.) managers heard our complaint but never gave us any refund. Not even a partial (one night refund) like promised. Never returned our call, and we had to repeat our story to multiple managers there. I believe that they just didn't care and used any stall method to appease us as if they cared; once we left we weren't their problem anymore. Dirty and definitely not worth the money. Go elsewhere!!!!

Check in says 4pm but we arrived at 3pm and didn't get room until 6pm. After that all went great. Room as listed, super comfy and clean. Maids took trash, brought clean towels daily. Nestled in a prime North Myrtle Beach oceanfront location, the Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort offers understated accommodations with contemporary furnishings and fantastic views. The resort underwent a $20 million renovation in 2020, resulting in shiny, new upgraded facilities. Families are drawn to the multiple pools and Splash! Waterpark, while the spa and fitness facility at Spa33 and 78Fitness offer relaxation and wellness options.
This was a last minute stay for us and it was perfect. Resort staff were friendly and check in/out was easy. We opted for the $25 valet over the $20 park yourself and was also easy in/out. We were on the 7th floor and had the best view of the water. Coffee in the morning was additional and tasty! I considered a second. Grounds are beautiful and clean. Would love to plan a trip to stay for a few day to really enjoy the property.

It’s old. My AC needed to be reset 3 times in 3 days. The batteries on my door lock died. After going down twice to get my keys activated it was co clouded it’s not the keys. The service repair dept is very nice and attentive. The daily cleaning was not thorough, they do not wipe the bathroom down at all just replace towels. The view was nice and all their rooms have ocean views. We were there for a convention and there was a storm passing for a few days. So no outdoors.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort, and my experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a seamless check-in process. The staff was courteous, attentive, and always ready to assist, setting the tone for a truly delightful stay. I had booked a two queen bedroom, and I was thoroughly impressed with the accommodations. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully designed to provide maximum comfort. The beds were incredibly cozy, ensuring restful nights after long days of exploring the beach and surrounding areas. The amenities provided in the room added to the overall convenience, making it feel like a home away from home. One of the standout features of my stay was undoubtedly the breathtaking view. Waking up to the sight of the sun rising over the sparkling ocean was a magical experience. The balcony provided the perfect spot to relax with a cup of coffee in the morning or unwind with a cool drink in the evening, soaking in the serene beauty of Myrtle Beach. The resort itself is beautifully maintained, with a range of facilities that cater to both relaxation and recreation. The pool area was pristine, offering a refreshing escape from the summer heat. The on-site dining options were excellent, providing delicious meals and a diverse menu that satisfied all our cravings without having to leave the comfort of the resort. Overall, my stay at the Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort was outstanding, and I wholeheartedly give it a five-star rating. The combination of fantastic service, comfortable accommodations, and stunning views made for an unforgettable vacation. I highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing getaway at Myrtle Beach. I can’t wait to return for another incredible experience!

Spent 2 days and one night. The facility was excellent. Everyone was extremely helpful. We had a great time! Only thing we had an issue with was there was a nasal strip stuck on the head board... It wasn't one of those hidden things it was behind the pillow about 18" above the mattress. I moved the pillow and there it was!!! The front desk folks were great everyone we had contact with were great. I just can't give 5 stars with something that obvious.

Pretty nice place to stay. If you have an outside room you may very well get some gnats even though the room is clean prior to your arrival. Bellmen and front desk staff were great and friendly. Shuttle service is nice to have but a breakdown in communication had us waiting 45 minutes for a ride back to the hotel. Valet is offered at $25 a night which is great if you don’t want to walk. Parking garage is close by so if you want to get some steps in that’ll work just fine. Breakfast is offered but not included in your room price. I can see myself staying here again if we go on a vacation.

This was such a beautiful resort with many amenities and the walk to the beach from the pool deck was a plus! It was very clean, smelled good, staff extremely attentive and responded quickly to any requests or questions. Two pools on site and others available via shuttle. I came here for a work conference and truly enjoyed my time. While the hotel is a little run down and out dated, it was clean and in a spectacular location with beautiful ocean front views. The staff were super kind and helpful and overall I had a relaxing stay. I would stay here again.
Falisha R — Google review
I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with how this entire situation has been handled. On our recent stay, the shuttle driver failed to properly secure my dad’s wheelchair before driving — and then drove like a maniac. This caused my dad to slide across the back of the bus, nearly tipping over, and his wheelchair wheel broke as a result. To make matters worse, the resort had no replacement wheelchairs available — one was “broken” and the other was reportedly “stolen.” So, on our very first night, we had no way to get my dad around for the rest of our vacation. I had to locate and purchase a wheelchair from CVS and have it delivered via DoorDash at 10:30pm just to salvage the trip. The staff treated the whole incident as if it was nothing. My Hilton Sales Executive (who booked our stay) was furious and assured me that Hilton would take care of this. When checking out, I spoke to the manager, who said the issue would be referred to Kingston Resorts’ Safety Director, Leanne. They took my name and number and said she’d call me Tuesday. She never called. I called Wednesday and left a voicemail — no response. I’ve now called three more times today and have been transferred to three different voicemails. Still no progress. This entire experience has been beyond aggravating, and the complete lack of follow-up or accountability from the resort is unacceptable. I expected far better from a Hilton property. We will definitely not be returning to this location again.

Stopped here for dinner before the Jimmy Buffett tribute band concert at the Alabama Theater nearby. We had the Caribbean burger, fish tacos, coconut shrimp and chicken tenders for the youth, and of course Land Shark Lager. All the food was good and the staff were friendly. Also recommend Lulu's nearby with similar fare.

We ate at the bar. Service was fine. There was an odor outdoors that might have been from the water. The food was good not great. At least the fish and chips had more fish than chips. The steamed clams were really good but kind of expensive and could have used 2 pieces of toasts. The upsell of the Caesar salad was worth it. It was large and tasty.

My food was delicious. The wings are top tier. The shrimp pasta was great as well. When I don’t have to add additional seasonings to food, then you know it’s probably tasty. My drink was good too and I really like the souvenir cup. We sat outside and although it was scorching hot, it was still pleasant eating on the water. Our server was attentive and nice as well. Will put it on my list of great eateries in Myrtle Beach.

We came here based off of the reviews and the variety shown on their menu. That was a mistake. Not only did it take almost a half hour to order, we had to flag down our waitress to get our drinks refilled everytime. The prices for beverages are ridiculous and the food was subpar as well. I ordered the steam pot boil only for it to come with two mediocre crab halves missing half of the legs on each. When we asked about it, the staffs response was that's just how it is and how it comes out of the net. It was more like a shrimp boil with a tiny portion of crab for $38. I've had better seafood dinners at restaurants Hundreds of miles from the ocean. My wife's fish and chips was flavorless with no seasoning what so ever. When I also brought to multiple hostess' attention that the bathrooms needed cleaned/ restocked, they brushed it off and took no action. There's plenty of good food options at Myrtle, this is far from one of them. Stay away and let it die. (There's also a 10% surcharge for everything including debit cards but cash that they don't tell you about.)

Barely any meat or cheese on nachos….charging $20 for a plate of chips is wild. Showed to the manager and he even said they looked light then took my drink off the bill for a “discounted price”. $5 off for something I didn’t even eat. He ended up removing it after I said that was ridiculous but was rude and didn’t come back to let us know he fixed the issue. The only enjoyable part of the experience was our server. Could’ve gone to Taco Bell and paid less and left with a full stomach.

Very nice dining, loved the atmosphere and our waitress. We didn't say anything, but my husband's Philly didn't have a drop of queso on it. Was suppose to be queso and provolone. Just got provolone. Everything was pretty good though! Definitely recommend

Sandy Beach Resort is a stunning oceanfront getaway nestled in the vibrant heart of Myrtle Beach. This luxurious resort offers an array of modern one- to three-bedroom condos, each equipped with kitchens, balconies, and complimentary Wi-Fi for your convenience. Guests can indulge in a variety of amenities including three outdoor pools, a kiddie pool, and a relaxing lazy river. For those looking to stay active during their vacation, there’s also a fully equipped fitness center available.
Stayed here with family from May 18-22, 2025. We were in a three bedroom unit with stunning oceanfront views. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Pool area was very clean and spacious with a heated indoor pool and two outdoor pools. Hotel desk staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and the housekeeping staff went above and beyond to ensure that we had what we needed. It is well within walking distance of Family Kingdom and the Boardwalk area with plenty of eats nearby. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Myrtle Beach!

Stayed here on recent visit. Everything matched what is shown in pictures. Beautiful view of the beach. Check in was great but the room needed some work. Most of the outlets wasn’t working or had one plug working some of the was worn out and couldn’t plug anything in. Front desk wasn’t any help few times trying to get toilet paper and some towel/washcloths for room. One time I stopped by the desk to ask for some toilet paper and towels and washcloths after running out. They said they would send someone up, never happened. Next time i called from the room and asked if the same thing and the same response was we’ll bring some up, never happened. Finally the third time was a charm at-least for toilet paper getting some from the front desk. Housekeeping later on the third day did come and did a fantastic job cleaning and getting us fresh linen and etc.

We stayed in room 414 the room is super old everything needs to be replaced the mattress is sucks and sinks in the middle and Creeks and cracks every second the pillows feel like rocks. We had to put a sheet over the couch it full stains The overall Room was clean. It’s just so rundown doesn’t feel like it is. The pools are nice I just wish the pool person would clean the sand out of it once in a great while she kind of just walked around and looked at the pools for hours and then leaves. The beach 🏝️ is nice super close.the security is very strict. The hotel is very clean and always smells good. The cleaning staff is amazing. They’re always keeping stuff clean. overall, the hotel is a great place to stay with your family. They just need to do some upgrading in the rooms

I’m hoping our time at this hotel is good, but have low hopes. Called to inquire on the deposit refund policy since there is a hurricane on the way tomorrow when we will be arriving. Not only was I rudely told no they don’t refund for weather, I was hung up on. Not looking forward to staying here now. I will update this after our stay. Wish us luck. *****UPDATE!!***** We just got back home from our stay at the resort and I must say, it was great. I think someone was just having a bad day when I had called. My only complaint was that the jacuzzi tub didn’t work, but overall, the room was very clean and nice!! We will most definitely be coming back and staying!

This hotel was awesome! This was me and my family's first time to Myrtle Beach. We stayed in a 1bd room deluxe. I really liked that it had a full kitchen. Even had a dish washer and a washer and dryer. The view was amazing!! I was surprised how comfy the beds were, even the Murphy bed was really comfortable. The hotel was in the perfect location. Super close to everything. There was a great little store across the street with everything you could need for your stay. I will without a doubt be back!! Loved my stay!!

My teenage daughters s and I stayed here for a weekend getaway. The room was clean spacious. The bathroom was good and the cooking area was wonderful! The balcony was the best part with a perfect view! The staff (fellow west virginian) at check in was great! We had a fabulous girls weekend!

Embassy Suites by Hilton Myrtle Beach Oceanfront Resort is an upscale all-suite hotel located right on the beach. The resort offers a wide range of amenities, including free breakfast, a spa, tennis courts, and 9 pools. Families can enjoy a week-long vacation without leaving the property, thanks to its various suite configurations and numerous activities for guests of all ages.
My husband and I had a great time with our 4-year-old. There was plenty for her AND US to enjoy. The coffee shop in the lobby was helpful. The shops were great for little treats. The pools were all fun. The toddler section was great for her. Cabana service was a nice add on. No complaints.

The employees working the breakfast buffet were incredible. We have a gluten allergy on our family and they were careful to bring us our food from the back to reduce cross contamination. And I cannot say enough about the guys working the omelet station. They made my daughter scrambled eggs every morning in a fresh pan with a fresh spatula. They really seemed to care about our needs and were so delightful in every exchange. They remembered our order after the first day and every morning of our trip was a breeze because of them. The food was delicious as well!! 10/10 totally recommend.

If I had a million gold stars I would shower them on Shirley and Kaysie at the registration desk. We came to the hotel with family and thought we had a two-room suite … not the case … misunderstanding on our part … so no room … we almost had to share a room with my brother and sister -law … who we we adore… but the hide-a-bed would have been interesting 😊 … they found an awesome option with HH points and it all worked out. They absolutely went the extra mile for us and we really appreciate it. That’s just another reason we are Hilton and HGVC fans ☀️

As an Honors member check in is a breeze. Our room was clean & quiet. AC kept us nice and cool. Breakfast was good and evening drinks were refreshing. Pool is great and the beach is only a few steps away. I would recommend eating at the Black Drum on property. Priced right and portions are big. We will be back!!

Rooms are spacious. We had a living area, dining, small fridge, and a separate bedroom and bathroom. The breakfast buffet is awesome. There is a really nice pool and the hotel is ocean front. Location is great, close to everything.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. FIND ANOTHER HOTEL THAT ACTUALLY HAS PLEASANT STAFF AND A FACILITY WORTH YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY!! Look at the photos below. BUG LARVAE AND STAINED SHEETS ARE WHAT YOUR IN FOR HERE. Last straw is getting hit with a $449 bill at checkout. Thats after they gave me a $200 credit for the trashy accommodations. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. FIND ANOTHER HOTEL THAT WILL TREAT YOU WELL AND ACTUALLY HAS A NICE Update Day 3: This is my last post regarding this hotel. I’ve realized that this place is very hit or miss. Management has been great, but it’s clear that the rest of the staff could care less about your stay. People spend way too much money here to have a sub-par experience. Whenever you approach anyone here, that’s no telling really what you’re gonna get. Overall, I would not recommend this place. I love Myrtle Beach and plan on coming back very soon, But 100% will not be staying here. Update on Day 2: As you’ll see below, I was not very impressed when I first arrived. I HAVE to say though, that the staff here has followed through in the best way possible. Kudos to the management and the rest of the staff for making things right!! They moved us to a cleaner room. We also came back from the beach to a couple of bags of snacks and refreshments. Very nice gesture from a very responsive staff. So far, very disappointed. Drove 14hrs down from Boston. Very tired and just wanted to rest, but room was not in the best condition. They ARE however, getting us another room. We will see how the rest of the trip goes.

Pros: Staff was courteous, friendly and helpful. Location. Ocean views. comfortable bed.Microwave and fridge. 2 TVs. Breakfast was great. Parking was easy. Cons:Charged me extra $40. for an one hour (3pm) early check in.Paid it because of the long drive and we just wanted to get to our room. AC did not work well Set it on 65* to get room temp to 72*. Ice machine on 9th floor had mold in the ice. Mattress cover was old and ripped up, Should have sealed mattress protectors. Furniture is well worn, old stained and isn't suitable for a 4 star hotel. Bath is old tub that shows its age along with weak water pressure. Should update to walk in shower. This resort is expensive and I expect that of any resort, but this one is over the top and you do not really get what you pay for, you know that old cliche you get what you pay for. I wound up paying $150. per night more than I expected. That would have been ok had it been a true 4Star experience. Overall I liked this hotel and I would consider another stay because I felt safe here being a gated property. Hopefully Hilton will update this hotel

Kingston Resorts has recently completed a property-wide reinvention, including the debut of Black Drum Brewing, adding to the fun and delectable dining options at the resort. The resort also offers romantic beachside wedding venues with four different spaces for couples to choose from. Guests have praised the clean rooms with beautiful beach views, comfortable king-size beds, and easy access to amenities like grocery stores and restaurants. The staff is highly commended for their helpfulness and service throughout the stay.
Our ocean side two bedroom condo in the South Hampton tower was nice and perfect for our family, and exactly as advertised when the reservation was made. The staff and services at the resort were amazing as well. Will definitely be back at some point in the future.

Great Location, Poor Execution – Not Recommended for military marriage retreats. I coordinated a military marriage retreat at Kingston Resorts. While the location is excellent and the accommodations were generally satisfactory, our experience was significantly diminished by disorganization and repeated issues with the Embassy Suites staff. Despite the importance of this event—focused on strengthening military marriages—logistics were poorly handled from the start. Families were split between buildings, which directly conflicted with the goals of the retreat. None of our participants were housed in the Embassy Suites building, yet they were sent there daily for breakfast using vouchers, creating confusion and frustration. More concerning was the attitude of several Embassy Suites staff members. While some individuals were courteous and helpful, many others came across as dismissive, uncooperative, and, at times, overtly condescending. Multiple guests and childcare workers reported feeling as though they were being deliberately given a hard time. Several participants even expressed the belief that staff were actively trying to make things more difficult for us—which, regardless of intent, speaks to the perception created by the way we were treated. We also faced unnecessary complications with parking fees and billing. Soldiers were wrongly told they owed money for services that were contractually covered, and in several cases, were not even recognized as part of the retreat despite being on the official roster. These issues persisted well into the event and required repeated intervention to resolve. In the end, we made the most of the weekend—but it felt like we had to fight uphill the entire time. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I cannot recommend this venue for future military events. The lack of professionalism and consistent friction from Embassy Suites staff not only made our job harder—it left a lasting impression on attendees. Unless serious improvements are made in how group events are managed and guests are treated, this will likely cost them future opportunities—not just with us, but with other Army units and military organizations who depend on excellence and reliability when planning mission-critical events.

Embassy Suites Kingston Plantation has a lot of potential, but the overall cleanliness of the common areas needs A LOT of improvement. The lobby and conference spaces often felt damp and not as fresh as expected, and elevators could use more consistent care as well. The restaurants and coffee shop were inconsistent, with slow/poor service and food that was disappointing. On the positive side, my guest room was comfortable and housekeeping did a good job day to day. The highlight was the breakfast; both the quality of the food and the friendliness of the breakfast staff stood out and set a much higher standard for the rest of the property. With more attention to cleanliness and service, this resort could deliver the excellent experience its location promises.

There are multiple hotels on this property. You have to check in at one front desk though. I don't feel like the front desk was clear about which hotel I was staying in. So my family and I unloaded and went all the way to the 6th floor of the wrong hotel. Had to drive to another parking lot and everything. Once we got into our South Hampton hotel room, we were less the impressed. The room had a power strip that could have been a fire hazard the way it was connected with various appliances. The furniture, paint, and bedspread were something out of the 70s. Other amenities like the resort pool and brewery were nice though. Just that front desk experience and the South Hampton hotel itself.
Carlos M — Google review
Staff were helpful. Buses efficient. Main restaurant food was just ok. We did not get the promised accommodations and thus had costly transportation costs and time added to vacation.

This is an older hotel that has been updated several times over the years but still a favorite of mine. The staff are great, highly recommend for a trip to the area

We are very discouraged by Kingston Resorts. We were very deceived by them. When we booked the hotel they told me and confirmed that our room would be exactly on the oceanfront. When we arrived that day we found out that our room was actually 5 minutes from the beach. The people at the hotel told us that the Agency deliberately deceived us just so that we would buy the room at the hotel. Be very careful with them, they are liars.

Kentucky Mist Distillery in North Myrtle Beach is a haven for whiskey lovers, offering small-batch bourbons and moonshines crafted using traditional Appalachian distillation methods. The rustic ambiance of the distillery perfectly complements the rich flavors of their spirits, making it a must-visit spot for tourists. Visitors can enjoy a tasting menu featuring 12 moonshines and vodkas, with friendly bartenders providing detailed descriptions of each drink.
It was a very nice experience the young lady behind the bar was a gem. She was enthusiastic and friendly. Really like the grape moonshine. The only downside was not knowing that it is illegal to sell liquor in bottles after 7 on Saturday. So I was unable to purchase any before leaving town Monday morning.

Nice showroom for their moonshines. We sampled all of them and our favorite was the Apple Pie. We bought a bottle and can’t wait to sip it sitting around the fire pit.

Great drinks. Fun times. Staff is amazing. Definitely recommend doing a tasting.

The saving grace for me while on another shopping run with my wife. They offer a tasting menu of 12 of their moonshines and vodkas for $10. Bartender did a good job describing each one and was friendly and personable. The have a line of different flavored vodkas in addition to the moonshines. Ended up getting an apple pie and a bottle of their cranberry infused vodka, which was absolutely delicious.

Fun little distillery outlet at Barefoot Landing in North Myrtle Beach. They have moonshine both corn and sugar cane based along with a couple of 4 times distilled vodkas. Nice break from shopping their blackberry moonshine at 80 proof is excellent and their Apple Pie at 50 proof is super tasty got a shot of that in some warm apple cider after the tasting.
