The Greensboro Science Center is a fantastic family-friendly destination nestled in North Carolina, offering an exciting blend of attractions all in one place. Spanning 12 acres, this center features a captivating zoo where you can encounter fascinating animals like tigers and red pandas. The aquarium showcases an array of marine life, including sharks and penguins, while the hands-on museum invites visitors to explore exhibits on dinosaurs and extreme weather phenomena.
Wow! This was a great experience. It's my second time to visit the science center. The last time was several years ago. It has really grown in that time. There is a quite impressive aquarium section. The dinosaur, butterfly, and flight sections were particularly good. There was a fairly nice outdoor zoo but because of the weather conditions that day most of the animals had taken the day off. There is a sky adventure which you could not pay me enough money to get on. But it looked like a lot of fun for those who were doing it. I also had lunch at the meerkat Cafe which was pretty good. It's a fun place to spend the day. It's an excellent choice for families and individuals and groups. All the staff were incredibly helpful and gave great suggestions.

Really nice medium sized zoo and aquarium. The zoo has plenty of shade. It reached 85° the day we were there and was very tolerable. There are plenty of great different animals you would not expect. There is an AMAZING sky walk adventure zip lines and aerial walks. Bigger then any I've see elsewhere. $40 per person i think. Great for kids
Margaret R — Google review
We had a lot of fun here! The animals husbandry was very nice and clean and the animals seemed to be well taken care of and happy. My daughter (and mom) loved everything. There is some construction going on that is a bit loud, but that’s unavoidable.

Took my 12 year old here for her birthday. Bought tickets ahead of time and arrived at opening. I hadn't been here since I was a child several decades ago. The changed are amazing and wonderful. Several animals in the zoo that I had never seen anywhere else. The museum was informative and entertaining. The aquarium was gorgeous and the kids loved the stingray touch tank. I was worried about ask the walking since I'm disabled but there were plenty of opportunities to stop and rest. Great special day trip.
Jessie B — Google review
What a tremendous place! There is so much to do. I recommend planning a whole day here if you're bringing kids over 6 years old. The ropes course was incredibly difficult but a lot of fun, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. My family really enjoyed the aquarium and zoo. Looks like a terrific place for school groups and field trips also.

The Greensboro Science Center is an incredible mix of science museum, aquarium, and zoo all in one! You can explore fascinating exhibits, see amazing marine life up close, and meet animals from all over the world. Right now, the Blue Whale exhibit is a must see it’s breathtaking and educational. The staff are friendly and passionate, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommend adding this to your list when visiting Greensboro, especially for families or anyone curious about the natural world! It’s about an hour and a half from Raleigh, but worth the visit.
Justin K — Google review
My family has visited this location several times and each visit is just as good or better! It's the perfect day trip for small children, but there are so many exhibits and things to do for all ages. They offer concessions but also allow outside food and drink which is great. All the staff I interacted with were friendly and knowledgeable about the center and the animals/exhibits and the animals appear to be well-cared for. While a lot of things stay the same, it seems like they have a rotation of new things as well. We got to visit the new butterfly exhibit on our last trip. I love that it's a one stop destination for a zoo, aquarium, and science center. They also have a large outdoor playground with climbing ropes, slides, and treehouses. We will definitely come back and be recommending to others 😊
Abbe W — Google review
Great little all in one zoo-aquarium-science center for kids preschool to elementary age. My teen was a bit bored because the information was definitely geared towards the younger crowd, but he did have a great time in the special exhibir ($3 extra) doing a flight simulator. The younger kids had a blast, especially at the tree house playground. I really appreciated how the time was organized at the touch tank to keep it from being too crowded. Also, I love red pandas, so very happy to see them. And I'd never seen a pygmy hippo before.

The Miriam P. Brenner Children's Museum, also known as the Greensboro Children's Museum, is a fantastic destination for families and educators alike. This educational museum offers 20 permanent hands-on exhibits and a sprawling half-acre outdoor learning garden with climbing areas and slides.
We are visiting from MA with a 10 month old, 3 year old and 9 year old. The kids all had so much fun and the staff were all so kind! Thank you so much! We will be back on our next road trip!

Took my nieces here and they had an absolute BLAST—do you hear me?! This museum is amazing for kids and families to have fun together. Your little ones can explore and use their imaginations to become the everyday heroes they see—like a mail carrier, a doctor, or even ride in a giant MACK truck. It’s a beautiful thing to watch kids light up with joy. A wonderful time to be alive. Joy truly lives here!
Gabriele G — Google review
This place is huge and I love that there are both indoor and outdoor activities for children of all ages. The facility is clean and well maintained and the staff were super helpful and nice! Could literally spend hours upon hours here and still have more to explore.
Brittany B — Google review
Museum was alright however, disappointed in our experience with the quiet room. There is a room in the front that is designated as quiet place that’s states it is for visitors to use for various purposes. This is the room I planned to use to nurse my baby. The two times I went, they were both occupied by different employees using the room for their break/ lunch. I had to wait with a hungry baby while an employee was finishing her lunch. What’s the point of having these rooms if employees use them to hang out in a private space during break? I’m certain there are employee break rooms that could be utilized instead of taking away rooms that are intended to enhance guest experience.

I enjoyed my time and so did my son! The place was clean and in the heart of downtown. Staff was friendly. I had the pleasure of talking to a woman there named Kimber who helped me out while I was there. She gave me a run down of how everything works and was super helpful. I made sure to let her know I would leave a review about how awesome she was. 5/5 stars overall. Hope to be back again soon.

We had an incredible time here. The staff were all amazing and engaging. I greatly appreciated their help with building, as I myself was a little intimidated by the magnet wall. Each staff member seems like a great teacher and have great demeanors for children. Definitely will be back. ❤️

If you're planning a summer getaway to Greensboro, make sure Wet 'n Wild Emerald Pointe Water Park is on your itinerary! This expansive 41-acre water park is the largest in the Carolinas and boasts an impressive array of over 36 rides and attractions. From adrenaline-pumping slides that will get your heart racing to serene lazy rivers perfect for relaxation, there's something for everyone here.
This place is amazing! Affordable, safe, and always clean. This was our second visit. We were surprised by quickly that we could just walk on to any attraction. The waits are basically within a few minutes, if any. I purchased the season pass for my son, and it is the best 100 bucks ever spent. Parking is a smooth flow and short walk. My only compliant is that half the food venues were not open. However, they will not keep us from coming back. So much fun and family memories to last a lifetime.

We went on Wednesday to wet and Wild. I recommend buying the tickets online. I paid 49.99 for ticket and a meal voucher. The meal voucher was good at 4 different restaurants in the park. If we hadn’t purchased the meal voucher the meal would have been 13.99 each. So it’s definitely worth it. For all the rides that had longer wait times during the day we waited until 4pm to ride them and the wait time was no more than 10-15 minutes. We were able to ride everything. The wave pool is the best.
F. K — Google review
This was really amazing. Loved seeing the craftsmanship of all the displays! Lots of photo ops and sets as well! I’m glad the event kept popping up in my feed and would absolutely recommend! 10/10 experience. The only item I’ll caution on is your patience getting into the park; we were in major traffic back ups for 20-25 minutes and then waited in line to enter for an additional 20 minutes… Pro tip- if you can go after 8:30; when we left there was no traffic backup and no line to enter! Great for the family or a unique date night! You can thank me later!
Derik F — Google review
My family and I decided to go to Wet and Wild on a somewhat last-minute trip on a Sunday. I was able to call in the morning and talk to someone on the phone about obtaining tickets. Tickets at the door were $65 per person over 2 years old. However, if you purchased them online, you would be able to get them for $35 a person or $30 for a military. Unfortunately, when I tried to do the military option, I was unsuccessful several times. The extra $5 would have helped pay for the $20 parking. However, I was still very happy to get a discount for purchasing the tickets online. We arrived at the park at noon and were able to stay very busy until the park closed at 5 pm. There were several restrooms throughout the park, and the soap was always full, and the bathrooms all had toilet paper. The employees were in a good mood. They were also very helpful if we had any questions. The pools were somewhat chili to my body's temperature preference. However, we were all able to get in the water and enjoy ourselves. The Lazy River, I wish they had pulled out some more tubes for people to get on, but it was very relaxing. My children enjoy jumping off of the pirate ship into the pool. The only thing I was slightly disappointed in was that my 5-year-old, who is about 45 in tall, was unable to ride most of the slides in the park. You have to be 48 in tall in order to get on all of the slides except for the ones in the baby area. Since we went with two adults and two children, one of us was able to go on the slides with the older child while the other one stayed in the pools with the younger child. The wave pool was also a huge success for our family. It was so nice that a big wave came about every 3 minutes as opposed to other parks that have wave pools, and the wave comes every 5 to 10 minutes. The pools looked clean. And the lines were not drastically long. The most we wait in a line was about 20 minutes before we were able to actually get into the Lazy River or the slide. Overall the atmosphere was very nice at the park. We also enjoyed some food. There was plenty of seating, and we were able to secure a couple of seats near the pirate ship. Another pro was the availability of life vests at essentially all of the pools. My 5yo felt very comfortable and safe in that, even though he is a beginner swim. We will definitely be returning.
Elizabeth A — Google review
Overall, it was a good fun family event. They could have had more entertainment or stuff to do. Another performer, face painting, music in the main area so it wasn't so quiet, more than one live pumpkin carver, Halloween games, etc. for the price. There was a random guy break dancing in the middle which was neat & fun to watch but his music was really low & it was kind of random. It was sort of like it was unsure if he was paid to be there or a random person who set up and just started dancing. He was a great dancer though and very interactive. The pumpkin designs were awesome and super detailed. I loved the variety they had.

***PUMPKINS AFTER DARK REVIEW*** So we went for the annual Pumpkins after dark and I didn’t see a lot of details as to what to expect in any reviews so I thought I’d give one here incase people were looking. We went on a Saturday with 8pm tickets. It says online they’ll allow 15 min early entry but late entry isn’t guaranteed, so plan accordingly. I’d imagine Saturday being their busiest days. There was no traffic until about .02 miles from the entrance. They were incredibly efficient at moving the crowds both with the parking lot, and the ticket line. Honestly a masterclass in handling large events. There were TONS of people there and we waited maybe 5 min in the car line before the attendant who was tracking cars leaving found us a spot right up front. And then we got into the intimidating entrance line but that too moved extremely quickly and we waited maybe 5 min. ( pro tip purchase tickets and add ons for things like maze/toys online for quicker entrance and experience) once you get inside there’s artists carving pumpkins, some street like performers who were really kind and fun! Theres also the 1 bathroom which is large, clean, and had no line. There were 2 food trucks one serving funnel cake sweet type fair stuff and one serving Mexican ( taco, burritos, nachos) we ended up not eating here ( and this is why I took a point off ) bc with kids none of the options felt smart to buy and walk around to eat ( there’s nowhere to sit and eat) they should definitely think of offering more food options and maybe some tables/benches. They had a 3d black light maze which our 6 yr old twins loved, and the star of the show is the long trail of beautifully scary carved pumpkin displays! Just WOW! I purposely didn’t include pics to not ruin it. The artistry is amazing! They also decorated all along the trail and use lights and music, smoke machines etc. THERE ARE NO JUMP SCARES AND THIS IS COMPLETELY CHILD FRIENDLY. I read in a few descriptions there were carnival rides/games…there wasn’t. I felt this place was pretty reasonably priced (with the maze only being $5 and we even got 3 light up souvenir toys for under $40. ) for what it was. At the end of the day it’s a bunch of beautifully carved pumpkins and Halloween decorations. Our 13 year old was a tad disappointed. If you’re looking for amusement park level Halloween activities- this is done VERY well but it’s not the same thing. Much better for little kids or a cute date night!
Julia M — Google review
We had a lot of fun. Tons of cool pumpkin displays very detailed. I was impressed I took lots of pictures. Only bad thing they ran out of a lot of the food options.
Melanie D — Google review
Me and my family went on a Saturday morning. We got to the park right at 10am. It was cheaper to purchase tickets online so once we realized that after going to the window. We sat off to the side and purchased our tickets. We had a ball. We spend majority of our time at the wave pool. The only thing I would say is the food was horrible. Overcooked chicken and cold fries. The customer service at the food spot was lackluster as well. I would suggest going early and getting tickets in advance. Parking was $20. We had a blast and it was fun to cool off in the water.

The International Civil Rights Center & Museum is a Greensboro, North Carolina museum dedicated to documenting the history of the civil rights movement. The building that houses the museum was formerly home to the Woolworth's store where four students from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University joined in peaceful sit-ins beginning in 1960. The museum aims to memorialize these actions and others who participated in the movement across America.
This museum is a MUST visit for everyone!!! Greensboro is home of the historic 1960 sit-ins. Standing in the very space where four young Black students sparked a national movement for justice was humbling and powerful. Every American should visit this ground zero for civil rights. It’s a city of courage, resilience, and change. Also, a reminder that history lives in the places we choose to remember…

Our tour was on 6/19/20225 at 12:00 Noon and it was absolutely breathtaking, mind blowing and thought provoking. Not only did allow me to pause to reflect but it also received how inherently out of touch my generation and my children’s generation are with a historical reality. I’m so grateful to God we had this experience and our tour guide was nothing less than exceptional with how he narrated the contextual frame and store of each segment. I would highly recommend this experience for any child no matter their race or culture.
Vic K — Google review
I had an incredible experience at the International Civil Rights Center & Museum in Greensboro today. Our tour guide Darren made this visit truly special - he shared these stories with genuine passion because his own family member was part of this civil rights history. You could tell this wasn't just a job for him; it was personal. Our visit carried extra weight knowing that just yesterday, on September 4, 2025, we lost Major General Joseph McNeil, one of the legendary Greensboro Four, at the age of 83. Being in that museum today, walking through the same spaces where McNeil and his fellow students made history, felt like honoring his memory. The museum doesn't sugarcoat anything. Darren walked us through the harsh realities of oppression, racism, and how people were treated as less than human simply because of their skin color. As a Black American woman, those harsh realities and visualizations pulled hard on my heartstrings. Hearing these stories made me uncomfortable, and honestly, that's exactly how it should feel. If we're not bothered by injustice, we won't fight to prevent it from happening again. What really got to me was how Darren connected the past to today. He helped us see that learning about these painful chapters in history isn't meant to make us feel guilty - it's meant to make us vigilant. When we understand how discrimination worked then, we can better recognize and stop it now. The actual museum space is powerful too, especially being housed in the building where the Woolworth's sit-ins began. Standing in that same space where four college students decided to take a stand gives you chills - even more so today, knowing we just lost one of those brave young men who changed history. If you're planning a visit, ask for Darren if he's available. His storytelling brings this history to life in a way that textbooks never could. This place does important work preserving these stories, and everyone should hear them.

In the current state of our nation this is a place everyone should visit regardless of your demographic. My wife and stopped to visit on our way up to Maryland and took a guided tour with Mrs. Jeanne. She was absolutely the best and had a wonderful singing voice, the guided tour was TOTALLY worth it. Get Mrs Jeanne if you can ;)

I love anything dealing with history. The good, the bad and ugly. This museum was so informative and I learned abt so many stories that I had never even heard of before. I opted for the self guided tour so I could be on my own time and schedule reading everything. The tour started with abt a 50min documentary then can proceeded to walk the exhibits. I spent abt 2hrs total here. Great way to learn things while also staying cool from the heat.
Cynthia R — Google review
The gentleman at the front desk was very polite and welcoming. Our tour guides- Angela and then Darren, were very friendly and knowledgeable about each topic. You could tell they’re very passionate about their roles. Such a great experience, very eye opening! Definitely worth the time. Our tour took about 1 1/2 hours. I would go again and try the self-guided tour so I have more time to read from each board in each part of the exhibit.

The Greensboro History Museum, located at 130 Summit Avenue, is housed in a historic building that was once a Confederate army hospital and Presbyterian church. This museum offers an engaging and informative experience for families and visitors interested in the history of Greensboro and Guilford County. The Roman revival architectural style building not only showcases various exhibits and artifacts but also hosts the Greensboro Public Library and the Greensboro Art Center.
Chaperoned for my son's class field trip, and had a great time. This museum is a public gem! Admission is free. Everything is well organized and very clean and neatly kept. Very well managed. Staff was very organized with the tour and activities they had for our 4th grade kids, and were very informative, insightful, and patient so I'm very appreciative of their staff. I can't wait to go back with the rest of the family! Oh, they also open on weekends, so that's a huge plus!

We stopped here on a Friday afternoon and found parking nearby in a parking garage. The museum consists of 2 floors of information to see related to Greensboro and North Carolina. The museum was quiet and definitely worth the visit if you have a couple hours! Also completely free!

I can't believe that this museum is free. Absolutely love it. It was a really huge job of staff. Such nice exhibits and interactive activity with sounds and live buttons. One of the exhibits is like a real small city, amazing. Not a big parking lot. On weekdays we found a spot for parking.

Free museum, say WHAT?! Not to mention super-cool, with some really fun interactive exhibits. While it's true, several of the exhibits need a bit of updating, overall this is a great experience. Perfect for the whole family, in a stellar location adjacent to an amazing park in downtown Greensboro. A note about parking- do yourself a favor & park at the public parking deck on N. Church St. The rates are very cheap, & far less confusing than trying to squeeze into one of the tiny free lots. (You'll also be positioned perfectly to explore all the other cool activities & parks surrounding the museum.)

The Bog Garden at Benjamin Park in Greensboro, North Carolina, was transformed from neglected wetlands into a 7-acre natural oasis by Dr. Joe Christian and the City of Greensboro. Visitors can now wander through the thriving bog ecosystem on an elevated boardwalk and stone pathways, encountering diverse flora and fauna along the way.
My daughter had a two-day event at the Coliseum recently so my husband and I sought out fun things to do that were nearby during our downtime. We all very much enjoyed this little peaceful oasis. We saw a lot of squirrels and birds. Very picturesque little escape :)

Another spot I’ve been going to my whole life. I went here today and saw a bug I had never seen before. There are so many cool trails, wildlife and nature here.
Dylan S — Google review
Although not a huge park, the Bog Garden is a beautiful, biodiverse place to relax and explore. While here I saw so many ducks, chipmunks, squirrels, birds, and geese. This trail mostly has boardwalks and paved trails, making it very accessible. There are two other trails that are dirt/woodchips with stairs. No restrooms on site, except for the ones next door at Bicentennial gardens.

My grandparents used to live just up the street from this park, and I LOVED coming here. As I got older, I'd walk to the Bog Garden, then the Botanical Garden across the street. And it was my safe place to go when I was upset or needed time in nature while I spent time with my grandparents. It also helped get me into plants and bugs and birds!! It's not only great because of nostalgia, but the way that it's designed and how clean it always is!!! One of my favorite places on Earth!!!
Celina B — Google review
Great little walking path. Walk along the creek as you wind through the woods. Over a few bridges, pass a pond, and up to a small waterfall. Cool stone steps lead you up the hills. Very fun walk. Took about 30 minutes to complete with taking side trails.
Richard G — Google review
Awesome place to immerse yourself in nature without taking too much time off the day. I enjoy watching the waterfowl!
Nghia D — Google review
Short little walk, but different due to the bog. There's a lot of ducks and turtles to watch and some decent views of the lake nearby. Not long but right across the street from a larger park if you want to walk longer.
Ryan — Google review
First time here and me and my nieces loved it. There were a good amount of people there from the community. We were feeding the birds, squirrels and chipmunks. Lots of water fowl and we might of even seen a beaver. It's an easy walk, the boardwalk is a circle and there are paths that branch off.

This public garden is well-known for its extensive annual plantings and bronze sculptures, making it a popular choice for weddings, family photo sessions, and community events. This place is such a gem. So green and beautiful. Free admission. There are plenty of places to walk around or sit and relax. Other highlights include but is not limited to watching geese, swings, a little waterfall, a lake with plenty of fish and turtles, the bog garden, hiking trails. My favorite part was definitely the bog garden. I had a fun time walking the trails there and seeing the big snapping turtles.

Beautiful green space to relax and take in some fresh air. There’s a reconstructed mill with texts explaining the history and function. There is also a koi pond next to it. Cool statues spread through out the park as well.

First time visitor to this garden. My wife wanted to walk the dog and I wanted to walk for some exercise. The paths are paved and there are lots of benches around to rest on if you get tired or you just want to sit and contemplate life. Either way, walking or resting, you are most of the time in the shade. The flowers are beautiful, the trees are stately and the feeling is peaceful. I enjoyed my walk, slow and easy, while my wife and dog enjoyed a nice brisk walk. If you haven't been here, then come check it out. You won't be disappointed. Take a break from the rat race and the aggressive drivers. .

This beautifully landscaped garden offers a perfect blend of nature, art, and serenity. Celebration Station in Greensboro, North Carolina is an entertainment complex that offers a wide range of activities for visitors of all ages. From go-karts and bumper boats to mini-golf and arcade games, there's something for everyone to enjoy. The on-site restaurant provides American eats, making it convenient for families to grab a meal while having fun. Additionally, the complex features rotating exhibits that showcase the city's history and culture.
Fun place for the family. Great video games, batting cage, bumper boats. The go karts are fast and the track is wide enough for drifting and passing. The customer service was outstanding. The noise is not overwhelming and it has a nice dim atmosphere. They serve frozen cocktails and beer too. Good times for everyone.

Our 10-year old nephew and nephew had the best time. We bought unlimited ride passes and they stayed all day! We were able to leave and eat, then come back. I love seeing them happy.

We have enjoyed coming to celebration station this summer. We love the variety of arcade games, mini golf and bumper boats. My son loves that he’s tall enough to drive the small go-karts now. We can’t wait to have our son’s birthday party here in August.
Nicole C — Google review
Everything was nice, the manager made sure the kids cards and games were running smoothly. It was my first time coming my party and I came to Greensboro for the soul Circus and decided to look around and this is where we landed.
Constance S — Google review
Save your money and stay away from Celebration Station’s Mini Golf! The courses are covered with leaves, sticks and dirt, making it impossible to play a decent game. Turf is torn, bumpers are busted so balls don’t bounce, hole cups are exposed and raised, etc. So disappointing!
Missy P — Google review
Celebration Station is a blast for both kids and adults! There’s a great variety of activities—from go-karts and mini golf to arcade games and bumper boats. It’s the perfect place for a birthday party or just a fun afternoon out with the family.
Cortni H — Google review
First off my older daughter came to me upset stating that she was approached by a staff member that was working in the arcade /prize area. He saw that she had won multiple cards from the "Wizard of Oz" game.He accused her of cheating and tilting the machine to get the cards. She had actually used $44 of the $50 on her card. I'm sure there are cameras on site that would show that she had not been cheating/tilting the machine and these should be reviewed prior to such accusations being made. Second our birthday girl was outside riding some of the rides with friends. They had ridden the bumper boats and decided to ride the go carts. They waited for over ten minutes there and nobody was there working. I decided I needed to go find someone. I went in and spoke to someone at the laser tag. She said that it was the two men that were walking towards where we were standing. They were talking and had drinks while their station went unmanned. I walked back with them and came across another parent in my party that had spoken to someone in the bumper boats who said they kept leaving. They go carts were not set up so we waited even longer for that to happen. It took over 30 minutes from my party goers getting to the ride to when they actually started riding. This was all because they decided to take a break together instead of staggering them as they should have been. I spoke to the manager on duty about these issues and she did credit my daughter's card some for the accusation. However we should have been refunded some money as our entire party sat for an extended period of time waiting for go cart and were only able to do 3 activities due to the amount of time on the wrist bands. She did indicate the outdoor manager was one of the people working at the go carts. So he should have known better. Not exactly the party experience we had hoped for with the amount of money we spent.

Crafted: The Art of the Taco is a trendy eatery in downtown Greensboro, NC, offering a diverse menu of gourmet tacos and burgers with options for beer and vegan dishes. It has played a significant role in the city's evolving dining scene, paving the way for other upscale establishments. The restaurant has expanded to a larger space and opened another location in Winston-Salem.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing Food & Atmosphere! We were recommended CRAFTED by a local, and we couldn’t have been happier! The sweet potato appetizer was delicious, the smash burgers were perfectly cooked, and the tacos were packed with flavor—everything was incredible. The restaurant itself is well-decorated, clean, and has a trendy vibe. The staff was super friendly and professional, making the experience even better. Prices are reasonable and fair for the quality you get. Highly recommend checking this place out

This was our late lunch stop today. Crafted The Art of the Taco is located in downtown Greensboro NC. The food and beer selections are great. The service is very friendly and accommodating. The tacos are very innovative, well seasoned, come to your table with perfect temperature, and you will enjoy every bite of them. My score a 4.7.

We came for dinner on a Sunday when they weren't very busy and had a disappointing experience. The atmosphere, decor and even the design of the building felt unfinished and uncomfortable. We got sat quickly for such a large party and ordered the poke nachos and the sweet potato fries for appetizers. Our waiter made several mistakes with our drinks and brought an allergen to the table even though we made it clear that we can't have it. Our nachos were missing ingredients and we felt forgotten about at our table. To the point of sharing our waters because we couldn't get a refill after 20 minutes of waiting. Our meals were varied between dry, cold burgers, decent tacos, uneven portions of sides, and rice bowls. Our waiter warned us they were out of rice but our food came with it anyways and he split our appetizers price without asking us who was covering it. Overall the price was affordable for the area but the experience was very disappointing and disjointed. Unfortunately we won't be coming back.

These tacos were unique, full of flavour & so fresh. I enjoyed every bite. The queso dip was one of the best I’ve had so far! Great service and lovely atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back.

I had a terrific lunch here at a perfect time in the afternoon. Not at all crowded and service was superb. I can highly recommend the Big Truck tacos (although skeptical at first). The crunchy onions make it work. It will be a lot of food. Plan on getting doggie bags.

Not my 1st time at Crafted, but it has been awhile. Great food options. This go round I tried the Eastbound smash burger with sweet potato fries and it was great! Good flavors, huge seasoned burger, and fresh cut sweet potato fries. I normally get the fish tacos which are my favorite, but decided to try something different. Great customer service and laid back atmosphere with plenty of space.
Aisha C — Google review
The vegans in our party were thrilled with their tacos. They did say the chicken was a bit bland and they should have “baja’ed” that one. They loved the steak and potato and really enjoyed the chorizo as well. The clubbin was my favorite as it had a nice kick. We all left very full and were eaters, munchers, and can put away some food. I’ll say i wish they had salad options. It was good but sweet. I prefer heat in my salad. I liked it better than the queso myself but we were split in that as a table. I really enjoyed the flour chips and the corn chips were good as well. I believe we’ll be back as we all left happy and full.
Damian W — Google review
Absolutely loved the tacos here, as well as both the regular fries & the sweet potato fries. I got the Fixie & the Bollywood, the former being beef with pineapple & the latter being tandoori chicken with cilantro. Both were delicious. My husband enjoyed the Korean beef & tuna tacos. Clean restrooms. Prices very reasonable. Kids menu available. Parking is available nearby on Washington St.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Guilford Courthouse National Military Park is a gem! The beautiful trails are perfect for a peaceful walk or a bit of light hiking, surrounded by lush greenery and rich history. Guilford Courthouse National Military Park is a wonderful place to explore Revolutionary War history. You can either walk the battlefield trail or drive it—I chose to drive since it’s fairly long. Along the way there are multiple stops with monuments and informational signage that really help you imagine how the battle unfolded. The visitor center is also excellent, with a short film and plenty of displays that explain the battle in detail. As always, the Park Service staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend for history enthusiasts!

I'm not a hiker or anything related to this type out outdoor stuff. I only walked around for about a 1/2hr. It was kinda quiet even though there's busy roads around it. It maybe better if you did the tour but for my 1st time there I was pleased. I look forward to going back. I'm sure when the leaves change color it'll look spectacular.

We walked around the whole thing, and it was beautiful. There were, you know, informational signs about the battlefield and the history around it. Gave you a real sense of what it was like and realize where you were standing was where people fought to defend and risk their lives. Very well maintained. Went on a holiday, so would have loved to seeing the Visitor Center, and i'm sure it would have had more information. Would have loved to do the tour. Very dog friendly with Trash bags and cans all along the trail.

I was very pleased with the walking and driving tour of the park. Maps are available at the visitor center and access throughout is easy to get to. The parks also have an app you can download for an audio tour. I'm just sorry I went on a Monday when the visitor center was closed.

An amazingly well-kept and maintained Park. Great place to go on a date or meet and greet. The size impressed me the most. And there's even an area where you can get married. The variety of floral and different sections of plants seemed endless. It was a great evening. Just be respectful and Don't throw trash and ruin it for others.

Free parking, a good 45 minutes worth of exploring to be done. This park has a lot to offer. The gardens are well maintained to look great in any season. A beautiful little creek runs through the center of it. This is a goodplace for graduation and engagement sessions, lots of different lighting situations. Permit required to photograph. Very much worth the money.

What an absolute gem tucked right into Greensboro! We didn’t expect much more than a casual stroll when we pulled in, but the Greensboro Arboretum turned out to be a full-blown, magical nature walk that felt both curated and wild at the same time. The paths weave through beautifully maintained gardens that seem to shift in personality every few steps—from sunny, flower-lined walkways to shady nooks filled with twisting vines and towering trees. It’s the kind of place that makes you slow down on purpose. And every corner has a little surprise—whether it’s a hidden bench, a mosaic structure, or a wild bloom that makes you pause and stare. There’s a gorgeous collection of plants—clearly someone here has a deep love for both design and diversity. The dragonvine-orange-fruit-something-or-other (no idea what it actually was, but that’s what we’re calling it now) caught our eye right underneath these giant wind chimes hanging dramatically between the trees. We were half-hoping for a breeze to make them sing, but alas, the air was still. I had half a mind to give them a little push myself—until I realized the bushes underneath were basically thorny security guards, 100% placed there on purpose. 😂 Smart move, Greensboro. Smart move. Despite not hearing the chimes, the walk was peaceful and full of beauty—so many textures, colors, and little details to take in. And it’s not just about the plants—there’s a quiet energy in this place that feels grounding. It's perfect for reflection, or just a slow wander with someone you enjoy being around. If you’re anywhere near Greensboro and need a breather from the day-to-day, don’t miss this spot. Bring good shoes, a curious eye, and maybe a field guide if you're the type to want to name every tree (or just make up your own like we did 😄). 10/10 – We’ll be back, wind or no wind.

Since I have visited the establishment for a couple of events in the past, I decided to stop back in on a Friday afternoon date. The experience was DELIGHTFUL! Susie & Leah are the stars of the show! Immediately we were greeted, welcomed & got a full explanation and understanding. When we made our way to the bar, we were notified no bartender was on duty. However, Leah made herself available and she is a true ROCKSTAR! She may have said she retired from the bar, but she moves like a pro, still. I was thoroughly impressed, entertained and overjoyed. The experience my date and I had was absolutely unforgettable... "At a lil ole bowling alley". Thank you soooo much

If you’re looking for bowling it’s fine but they’ve rearranged and arcade games are a big focus of which will STEAL YOUR MONEY. We purchased several arcade gift cards and just watched them dwindle down per machine not in adequate amounts that the machines indicated. Some machines don’t work but are not labeled out of order and steal your money so be ware $30 of your money will instantly go down the drain for your visit… I had to find an employee every other game about how it stole our money for a refund very inconvenient

Super fun Friday night outing with the family! Having lived in the Bay Area just outside of San Francisco, I’m a big fan of the 49ers, Giants and Warriors. Taking my family of 4 to any of these for upper deck seats would easily run us $250-$350 with parking, tickets and food. Exponentially higher for better seats. You cannot beat the value and the amount of fun to be had here. Plenty of parking around the park, either for free a bit further or max $5 right by the stadium. Behind home plate seats were only $14, and you can get tickets for as low as $9. There really isn’t a bad seat in the whole park. Great variety and quality of food, drinks and desserts. Something for everyone, and very reasonably priced for a ballpark. What makes it great for the whole family is the fun little shows, dances, races or t-shirt launchers they do almost every single inning. And if you go on a Friday or some Saturdays, they have a free fireworks show right inside the ballpark. Our whole family loved the show. You just can’t beat it. They also have deals and specials throughout the week, such as 2 dog Tuesdays or Thirsty Thursdays. If you want a super fun time with friends or family by watching a little baseball, eating great food, enjoying the extra festivities during inning breaks, and watching some fireworks (all of which doesn’t break the bank) then grab a few tickets and head on over!

FANTASTIC venue! We really enjoyed the 4th of July celebration here. I was a little hesitant to purchase a $15 ticket to view fireworks where so many places are free but I am so glad that I did. The parking garage is very close. Plenty of reasonably priced concessions and great seating for viewing the fireworks. We definitely will return to enjoy a ballgame.

Love it here but they continue to raise prices on everything. Looking into tickets for the Independence Day and of course the prices have increased. Same thing goes for the concessions and gift shop, ridiculously and unreasonably priced. One day we planned to attend a game and the day before they “sold out” but in reality they allowed some big company to purchase up all the tickets. I don’t know if this local team is getting well over their heads or what, but things are changing and not for the better. I love this place. Can’t beat their prices at all and will receive beyond the experience you paid for. It’s always such a great time. Their reviewers could tell you much more. Great tip .. purchase the cheapest ticket because everyone pretty much sits anywhere lol

First time here and I was surprised. They have a place for everyone. If u have small kids they have a play area. If u bring blankets they have a grass area. Plenty of food options, as well as a bar if ur a drinker. Overall great place for a family day. Ended the night with fireworks
Tracey T — Google review
The games are fun and concessions are typically. It’s a fun night out with family or friends. I took one star away for the beers. Pay attention to the prices. It is more economical to purchase the 16oz. than the 24 oz. I didn’t notice this until after I already ordered. It was twice as much for the 24oz but not twice as many ounces. At minimum it should be the same price per ounce.

Love this park, my husband and I’s first date was here back in the spring of 2023, very beautiful view and peaceful. ☺️can’t wait until the bridge is fixed so I can see our Lockett.

This is such a nice place to go to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life, whether you are walking or jogging, hiking or biking, there is so much here to explore. The facilities and trails are well-maintained. The scenery is beautiful, and the wildlife is abundant. I recommend Bur-Mill Park to everyone. I will definitely be going there again!

The bridge on the Greenway heading into Summerfield is closed with no detour route available. And apparently no plans on fixing it . Greensboro, you need to do better than this. Now we’re required to ride on 220 and you’re worried about safety concerns.?

There are several good trails for biking and hiking. My husband and I use the driving range, it's affordable and laid back, an excellent spot to perfect your back swing! This park has something for the entire family.

The paved trail is great. I wish they would fix the bridge to access the full greenway.

I spent under two hours at this park, but it definitely made an impression! We parked by the lake and walked over the bridge. The romantic touch of putting locks on the gate (and presumably throwing the key in the lake), while un-environmental, adds character and mystique to the experience. I wanted a park with plenty of shade, and I wasn’t disappointed. When we walked through the woods on the dirt path, there weren’t many bugs (but there were two deer). The stated closing time was 8 p.m., but we stayed until 8:20. I spoke with someone who said that the park gates are closed at 8:30. I’m docking this a star because I feel that it’s reasonable to expect the park to stay open until 9 or 9:30 (especially on weekends). Hopefully someday the city can find someone who would be willing to stay an hour later (as well as a few extra dollars to pay them).

Incredible brunch experience at Print Works Bistro! The atmosphere is stunning bright, elegant, and thoughtfully designed. It feels upscale yet totally comfortable, perfect for a relaxing meal with friends or a special occasion. Brunch is served daily and every dish we tried was top-tier. You can tell everything is made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Service was attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. This is easily one of the best brunch spots in Greensboro. I’ll definitely be back and recommending it to everyone I know!

As you walk too the front door of the Hotel, you're greated and welcomed into a beautiful view of the hotel. You then creep slowly down a set of spiral stairs, into a sitting area, follow a glass path, and wind up at a beautiful restaurant! The staff greets you and seats, and an amazing time happens. The French inspired dishes hit all the notes, though we did have 1 hiccup, and sent back the risotto, as it was not creamy, but a little mushy, but they replaced the meal with another with 0 fuss. Everything went exceptionally well, and the staff made it even better with their attention to detail. The French inspired meals hit the right melodies and notes of buttery, fatty, French cooking techniques, the wine pairings were great, steaks to temp, abd accompaniments all sang quietly!

This place is always excellent. The food and service are fantastic. Honestly, it’s a pretty good value as well. Is it cheap? No. But still an excellent value for what you get. I had the grilled filet Mignon. It was outstanding. We celebrated a birthday on this trip. The kept the cake in the cooler for us and sliced it and brought it to the table. We’ll go back for sure. Also, don’t sleep on their breakfast. The only reason I’m not giving atmosphere 5 stars is because we could hear someone in the kitchen screaming a few times during the meal.

This lovely Bistro is inside Proximity Hotel. It is decorated in 1940's fashion inside. Great service. We started with beignets (not the ones I'm use too but delicious with the chocolate sauce and honey). I had the quiche Lorraine, thick and delicious. Others in my party had eggs Benedict and a hash with eggs, they loved them. Highly recommend.

I really loved the restaurant. It’s a beautiful place and the service was exceptional. The prices are reasonable and not extreme compared to other spots. The only dishes we truly enjoyed were the pork and the Saturday special, but overall the food wasn’t anything amazing. I wouldn’t go back just for the food, but it’s definitely a lovely place to go if you want to make a good impression for a birthday or special celebration.

The restaurant was absolutely beautiful!! The roasted garlic that comes with the bread was delicious!!! We ordered the beef meatballs as our appetizer. They were good. My mom ordered the trout and I ordered the beef short ribs. I wish I went with my first mind and ordered the trout as well because the short ribs were underwhelming. The short ribs were tender but lacked flavor. The short rib meal came with sautéed spinach and a potato cake. The potato cake was so delicious but you only get a small one. My mom enjoyed her trout meal that came with quinoa and sautéed kale. We did not order dessert since we were planning to go to an ice cream shop not far from the restaurant. Our waitress was not very attentive. We had to ask for her which did not leave a great impression. Overall, I would not return.
Annie — Google review
Very pretty place! The service was extremely slow but I’m pretty sure it’s because of our particular server. He wasn’t attentive and he would go missing randomly. I had to track down another server so we could get our check. The food was ok but was quite salty. We got the porkchop and the scallop risotto. The cocktails we ordered had to be sent back, one of them tasted like NyQuil. The desert was the best part with a delicious chocolate sauce snd ice cream.

Print Works Bistro – Total Disappointment I’ve been coming here for years with friends and clients since buying my seasonal home in Greensboro and always enjoyed it, but this visit was a disappointment. I sat at the bar, asked for a dessert menu after half my meal, and the bartender never came back to take my order. After waiting about 20 minutes, I told her to just bring the check. The to-go box she gave me was cheap and completely unsuitable for my meal. When I told the person in charge, she only said, “I’m sorry,” without any concern. Sadly, not the service or attention to detail I expected from a restaurant I once considered to have such high standards.

During the day, A lovely downtown park, some minimal but delicious eats, a decent little playground with some wear and tear, but good for your little ones to run around. During warmer months, the water fountain flows. It’s downtown, so there’s some people who wander that are not always family friendly, but during the day, all is well. There’s also a huge air-flowed sculpture, made from. Huge fiber net that flows in the wind, and this is quite unique! As the sun goes down, depending on the day, and if there’s a crowd at the Tanger Center, it can get crowded with a lot of people. But during the day, and especially weekdays, it’s a lot of fun!

We saw a wonderful Celtic Christmas show. The production was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We were able to meet the troop afterwards. The theater was decorated beautifully for Christmas and the staff was very welcoming and helpful finding seats and anything else you needed. Will definitely go again.

We went to Carolin Theatre for the movie GREASE sing along. As soon as we arrived we were in awe of the beauty of this theatre. It takes you back to the good ole days of live theatre shows. The architecture and layout of the building is beautiful and the theatre is grand upon entering. The tickets to this were inexpensive. They play old movies weekly during summer. This particular one had the words to the music on the screen and you could sing along to the songs. There were a lot of patrons and workers dressed I. Characters which made the experience 10x better. My 24 year old daughter had never seen GREASE and she love it! There is a private lot attached to the theatre as well as plenty of street parking. They have live events and bands throughout the year as well. It was definitely worth the ride from Winston Salem. Wish we lived closer to attend more shows here but definitely looking forward to coming more often.

Beautiful theater. Staff is so friendly, door prizes sometimes and popcorn. Play local things, classics, even silent with the in-house organ. Seats are comfy and the size is perfect...really no bad seats.

This was my first time to this venue and I was awe struck with its beauty! I don’t even know how to explain it but see the photos!!! I saw Natalie Grant and Bernie Herms there which was an absolutely amazing, intimate time of worship. The ushers were very friendly and accommodating. The restrooms were not only clean but also beautiful. There is a concession stand that was very popular but we did not partake. There is parking out front and a parking deck close by that has free parking after 6pm. Will most definitely be back for more shows and movies here!!!!

This was an exceptional place to stumble across while out road tripping through North Carolina. The fountain, building, and grounds were beautiful. The statues and different animals and features were neat to see. There were a few other people there this day as well enjoying themselves. Glad I ended up running across this.

The Gardens has an amazing collection of trees , plants and flowers in just 11 acres. Paved paths make it easy to walk through the various themed areas. Numerous metal sculptures, some with water effects provide additional interest. It was sad to see many specimen trees going into shock due to lack of water. Makes no sense.

Great roadside stop with charm and comfort, worth a visit! I loved this place and everything it had to offer. It’s a free, peaceful roadside stop, perfect for stretching your legs, using clean bathrooms, and taking a short walk through a cute garden. The walk itself probably takes about 20–30 minutes, but I stopped to take photos and ended up chatting with other visitors, so I spent close to an hour there. There are lots of quirky objects and displays scattered throughout the garden, which made it even more enjoyable. I went on a weekend and it wasn’t crowded at all, just a lovely, relaxing break.

This Garden is more for people who wants a place to relax on the grass or kids to play in the kids garden. It's small with paved trail around the property. There are several entrances where you can walk in. A parking lot at the main entrance. I really like the children's garden. I have my pups with me and couldn't walk in to check it out. The children's Garden does not allow pets. Fortunately I was able to look in. It's the highlight of the Garden. The Fall Foliage is beautiful, and the ground workers are very friendly.

Playground
Safari Nation Greensboro is a top-notch indoor playground designed to provide a dedicated space for children to engage in various activities and simply have fun. It offers an interactive playground, zip lines, bumper cars, arcade games, and concessions. The center caters primarily to children aged 1-12 and aims to offer a comprehensive and enjoyable experience for young ones.
We celebrated our son’s 3rd birthday at Safari Nation. We booked the party of 10 package. I cannot say enough positive things about this experience! The kids ages ranged from 3-10 years old. All of them had a blast! We love that there is seating all over the place for adults. My husband’s grandparents were able to attend (they’re both in their 90s) and had such a great time sitting and watching their grandchildren play! I wish the party room was 90 minutes but we made it work with the allotted time. The manager is fantastic and so accommodating of her guests. The facility is clean! There was always someone cleaning something while we were there. We would definitely have another party there! We cannot say enough good things about our experience!

We came here in Memorial Day and we appreciated that they were open, even if it was a holiday. The weather was rainy and this was the perfect rainy day activity. We arrived right when they opened and this was our first time at this location. Every location has a very different playground set up. This one was set up nicely for my 3 year old to do majority of the activities without my help. I will say that the toddlers area had very limited climbing structures compared to other locations. I do like that the playground was in the middle so as a parent I could walk around and be able to see my son in most locations. The staff was vigilant to ensure everyone was being safe and following the rules. There were plenty of seating options for parents including various couches. I would say this playground could use a real good dusting on top of the structures and could use some minor fixes throughout.
Erin S — Google review
Not so great experience. High point location is better, cleaner and bigger.
Akshay D — Google review
This place is wonderful! There is so much for kids to do and the prices are fair (plus they have monthly passes and discounts!) I was amazed by the low prices of food and drinks at the Coconut Cabana, I was expecting inflated prices as with most places, but they were so much lower! The best part about this place is that parents can join their child in the jungle gym! I also appreciate that the entry price is lower for children under 2. My son is under 2 and the other local indoor playgrounds I looked up were charging a flat price for all children. My son had such a blast, I wish there had been a place like this when I was a kid!
L R — Google review
Our birthday party experience was a great one. The kids had a blast playing and our host helped lighten the load of pulling off an awesome party for our son. We’ve also just popped in for playtime and my only issue is trying to get the kids to leave!
Amy C — Google review
My son used to love coming here. However his favorite thing is the zip line. For the last 3 visits they have not been running that. Every time they keep claiming someone will open it soon, but it never happens. The place is nice, but the sadness on an autistic 6 year olds face who can't understand why the person isn't coming when the worker told him they would isn't worth the rest.
Mitchell A — Google review
Fun place to throw birthday parties and get the toddlers' energy out! We came here to celebrate a classmate's 3rd birthday and had a lot of fun. There were activities for every age, including the youngest kiddos who are starting to walk. Fortunately for us, my 2-year-old was more than ready for more and we were able to take advantage of the whole park instead. From obstacles to climb, crawl, and jump on - there was plenty to experience. I was happy to be able to fit through them as well so that I could supervise her in the circus of children running through. I'd say this is a big plus especially if you're concerned that your littles still need a little extra supervision. There's also a bumper car that's an additional cost, but the cool thing is you could put your little ones on your lap if they're too small to do it themselves. I thought it was gentle enough and my daughter really enjoyed it. Additionally, there is an area where you can buy simple food like pizza and slushies to enjoy if the kids need a little something to get by. We were taken care of with pizza and ice cream in the birthday room upstairs. The one thing I took a star off for was the heat. It's not well ventilated and I'm not sure if it's air-conditioned which made it a bit uncomfortable. This was especially important to us considering all the exercise the kids were getting in there without the comfort of air to keep them cool. I'd suggest bringing a change of clothes!

As you navigate through various obstacles suspended in the air, you'll find yourself gaining confidence while enjoying an exciting workout.
Awesome! My boys (8 an 10) loved it. The employees are the best. Professional, patient, and helpful. The beginner courses are best for the first-timers for sure. The intermediate courses are a lot tougher. Make sure you and your kids are in GOOD PHYSICAL CONDITION for these or they'll wear you out. I highly suggest getting the early course, that way there's plenty of time to visit the zoo when you're done in the sky!

I have family in Greensboro and when I visit them we always go to the science center. I did this SkyWild course for the second time recently and had a blast! The staff is so friendly and helpful and encouraging. The harnesses all feel so sturdy and you feel very safe. Very fun and very physical activity but I loved it. Unfortunately the most recent time there was thunder and they had to pull us down early which is understandable due to safety. They offered to reschedule me but I was flying out the next morning. They gave my local family a credit so they could come back and rebook when they wanted. Exceptional customer service!

Skywild is AWESOME! Our family of four went there and had the best time. Some of us are scared of heights, so some did more than others. But boy did we have fun! Great course, fun ziplines. If you're adventurous you should check it out! The great thing is, you get to spend the rest of the day at the Science Center.

Really a fun time. Went for my daughter's 8th birthday so she was at the lowest possible age. The beginner courses were perfect for her. Older daughter loved the intermediate level courses (which were pretty challenging for me as well). We ran out of time before the advanced levels. The guides were excellent and, stationed in multiple locations, and very helpful. The person in front of us got injured and they were pretty efficient in getting him off the course safely. Overall would definitely recommend it and we will be back. Entry to the science center comes with this (but I wouldn't make a trip just for the science center).

We really enjoyed our time. 2hrs is just enough time to quickly do all but 1 route. If the course is not busy, you could probably do all courses. Good training, safety was never a question. The last Advanced course was our speed, glad to have the others to warm up... looking forward to traveling around the Mid Atlantic states trying rope/zipline courses!

This review is for Fly Away the zipline portion of Sky Wild. First of all DO IT. It's so much fun and an experience everyone should have! There are 2 large ziplines that take you over a lake and back. It's high enough that you get a ton of speed but relaxing as you take in the view. The scariest part is the winding staircase to get to the launch point. The instructors are amazing and really helped me with my confidence. Thanks Davin(Sky Wild) and Megan (Fly Away) for helping me cross something off my bucket list!

I went to their 'To The Hoop' exhibition last November and really enjoyed with how well everything was laid out and how they were able to do so many artsy things with a basketball!! It was part modern commentary and unusual interpretations at the same time. A very interesting collection and can only imagine what their other exhibits must be like. Admission and parking is free so definitely must do if you're in town! Nothing to lose and you'll get to see some interesting art pieces!

This place was great. Our grandson and his friends celebrated his 14th birthday playing trampoline basketball and enjoying all the different activities available here. The staff was very helpful. The manager very accommodating. Very clean. We will definitely be coming back.

Nestled in the heart of Greensboro, the GreenHill Center for North Carolina Art is a vibrant hub dedicated to celebrating and promoting the artistic talents of North Carolina. Established in 1974, this dynamic venue features an impressive 7,000-square-foot exhibition space that hosts a rotating array of contemporary art showcases. Visitors can immerse themselves in interactive galleries designed for all ages, making it an engaging experience for families and art enthusiasts alike.
Community arts gallery spaces for local and regional artists to display, share, and sell. A great resource and time well spent visiting. I don't love the postmodern architecture, but that's not why I came. I came for contemporary art by local and regional artists and I found that in spades. It's one of the best things in Greensboro and I wish more cities had a place like this.

Super cool area for art, the Wednesdays night kids free art event was very crowded but still fun! The puppet exhibit was really cool to see before hand

If you haven't been to family night on Wednesdays from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. You're definitely missing out. It's a free event weekly and a great place for toddlers kids and family together to learn and express creativity with arts and crafts of all kinds.

I would recommend a visit to GreenHill to anyone. It's the place to connect with North Carolina art, no matter what your experience level. Lots of really fun and free events, artist talks, gallery openings, etc. If you have kids, they will love making art in the studios! If you are looking for locally handmade gifts, this is the place to go. You can easily spend hours here. There was a very cool interactive dance performance that was associated with a past exhibition at GreenHill. It was a really special night and one-of-a-kind. I'll attach some photos to this review!

The Kathleen Price Bryan Family YMCA is a local favorite, offering free childcare and a range of activities for kids, including access to the jogging track, indoor turf, and basketball courts. The facility has garnered high praise from visitors who appreciate its well-equipped gym and excellent swim lessons for children. With an impressive workout facility that includes pools and various classes, it's no wonder this YMCA has become a top choice for fitness enthusiasts.
The swim lessons at the YMCA are fantastic, with skilled and patient instructors who make learning fun and safe. The program is well-structured for all ages and skill levels, helping swimmers gain confidence in the water. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to improve their swimming skills in a welcoming and supportive environment!

I love going to the Bryan YMCA! The track is always in good shape and people walking it are friendly and considerate. I also work out in the weight room or track area with my excellent athletic trainer Lisa Barefoot. With her help i have learned to use the machines by myself and if i have any questions, either staff or fellow members help out. I have especially enjoyed seeing the same now familiar faces of fellow members three times a week. I plan to get back in the family pool soon and am glad to have that access! Finally i am appreciative of the fact that O’Halloran PTs have their suite on the second floor and i can see my PT Julie when needed.

I enjoy going to work out there, it's not perfect but it's very convenient as I live about a quarter mile away. I have a free membership through my united insurance. I have rehabilitated myself from a very dark place and achieved all my goals of weight, stamina, and flexibility. Unfortunately lately every one using the facility has become very hostile, suspicious, and inappropriate. On my last visit an elderly individual was standing right behind me as I was using the abb machine. I didn't know he was standing behind me. As I got up from the machine he looked at me in a menacing fashion.then said I didn't me to rush you. I assured him that he had no chance of doing that. I observed him repeating the same behavior particularly with black people. In this time of politically motivated hate where everyone seems to have the need to intimidate anyone who does not fit their desired appearance is to be vilified. All groups have been behaving in this manner, white, black, Latino and pretty much everyone. More supervision is needed by staff to ensure that anyone who is a member can partake of the amenities without fear. THIS HAS BECOME A SERIOUS PROBLEM. Apart from that some of the staff has focused particularly on me after I check in and work out. This is unacceptable. I bring this to your attention before something serious occurs.
Marc O — Google review
This place is always having issues, no matter if it’s the workout equipment, the pool and jacuzzi or even the locker rooms. Most of the problems includes the hot water being out in the showers, the steam rooms always being out of order, to the sauna not warming up consistently. It stinks; it smells like mildew and mold are in the walls of the sauna and let me not forget the roaches that I’ve seen in the sauna also. I’m tired to people asking me if this is “up?” or if that is “running?” today. I’ve been thinking about this YMCA and comparing to other YMCAs that I’ve been to recently and I just want to know if this place has inspections regularly or what? There’s no way inspections are happening. What am I paying for if everything is always out of order?
T C — Google review
If you’re going here for the sauna? DONT! ITS HORRIBLE. You can’t even sweat in there, they keep the temperature so low. I’ve sent multiple emails requesting for them to turn it up to a temperature that a sauna is supposed to be on and went back yesterday. They still have yet to fix it. The Spears YMCA has a great sauna & so does the one on Florida St.
Kp S — Google review
I absolutely love the Bryan YMCA. It has many lanes for swimming so that more people can enjoy. There is a wonderful whirlpool to relax in and unwind your muscles. Their floor is separate from their walking track. I love that. I have no complaints at all. Wonderful place to join classes, workout and get healthy!!

Dessert shop
Cheesecakes by Alex is a popular bakery in Greensboro, offering a wide variety of delicious cheesecakes that are available whole or by the slice. The shop is known for its 22 flavors, including seasonal options, catering to every dessert lover's taste. Whether you're a fan of traditional flavors or looking for something unique like bananas foster or peanut butter cup, this bakery has something for everyone.
Where do I start? Cheesecakes by Alex offers probably the best selection of quality cheesecakes in town in addition to a huge selection of fresh pastries, cookies, and other baked goods. Everything we’ve had there has been excellent. To top it all off they have great coffee and I love that they’re open later than most other coffee places in town.
Hunter L — Google review
Prices were amazing in my opinion. I loved the aesthetic of this spot— an aroma of coffee filled the space. There were quite a bit of people dining in 9pm at night enjoying a bite of dessert and coffee. I have not been to Alex’s in years! It did not disappoint. We ordered a banana foster cheesecake, bourbon butter pecan, and a chocolate chip filled cookie sandwich. Total was $13 !!! I was very tempted to try their other baked goods such as these huge cupcakes I came across — there will be a next time. So many options to choose from, this place is not limited to cheesecake!
Aniya E — Google review
Very nice place. There is inside seating and outdoor seating. There is a huge selection of cheesecakes, cakes, cookies, brownies, pastries and biscotti etc. service was friendly and quick. Prices were more than fair. Definitely will be returning

I stumbled across this bakery and was so pleasantly surprised! The star of the show was definitely the coconut cake—moist, fluffy, and just the right amount of sweetness with real coconut flavor that tastes homemade in the best way. It reminded me of something a grandmother would proudly serve at a family gathering. The sweet potato soufflé was equally impressive—creamy, rich, and perfectly spiced, with just a hint of sweetness that makes it work as either a side or a dessert. You can tell there’s a lot of care put into these recipes. The atmosphere was cozy (perfect for studying) the staff were friendly, and everything had that made-from-scratch feel you can’t fake. If you’re in the area and craving something comforting and delicious, don’t miss this spot!
Pierre — Google review
We came in with the plan of ordering a whole cheesecake so we chose several pieces to sample. The staff was less than friendly and seemed bothered. They didn’t ask if we wanted anything else and when I asked for a coffee she seemed bothered. She went and made the coffee and came back. When my daughter asked for a beverage she was told to go to the end of the line!!!! What on earth! Is there a limit to an order? So we went elsewhere for my daughter’s coffee (mine tasted burnt) and for the cheesecake. Loss of a $55 plus sale… I will not be back if this is their sense of “customer service “!!!!
Gina H — Google review
Cheesecakes by Alex is an absolute gem. I picked up a variety of their cheesecakes — Kona coffee, strawberry, crème brûlée, raspberry cookies & cream, and a few others — and every single one was phenomenal. Each cheesecake had the perfect texture: rich, creamy, and full of flavor without being too heavy or overly sweet. The portion sizes were generous and felt well worth the price. The staff here really stood out too. They were extremely fast, friendly, and helpful, making the whole experience smooth and easy from start to finish. You can tell they take pride in their work and want customers to leave happy. Beyond the cheesecakes, I also tried their cannolis, and they were just as impressive — crisp shell, creamy filling, and full of flavor. It’s clear this bakery doesn’t cut corners on anything they make. Overall, Cheesecakes by Alex is one of those places that sets the bar high for desserts. Whether you’re picking up a single slice or a box full of flavors, you’re in for a treat. I’ll definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves quality baked goods.

Found some xylitol sugar free cheesecake ( key lime and classic) They have tons of flavors and different bakes, the baked goods had such large portions as you can see from the video The cheesecake we got had pecans on the bottom which was ok, but I was hoping for a graham or cookie crust The oatmeal raisin was good Overall decent and a lot of options

Imperial Koi Asian Bistro & Sushi Bar is a trendy eatery that serves innovative Chinese, Thai, and Japanese cuisine alongside sushi and unique rolls. The restaurant's stylish ambiance and breathtaking views contribute to its appeal.
I had an amazing dining experience at Imperial Koi! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was inviting, and our server, Hay, was incredibly sweet and attentive. She made sure we felt welcome and taken care of throughout our meal. Now, let's talk about the food! The sushi was simply the best I’ve ever had, with fresh, vibrant flavors that delighted every bite. The sea bass was perfectly cooked, melting in my mouth with each forkful, and the lamb chops were out of this world—tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better dining experience. I highly recommend Imperial Koi for anyone looking for top-notch food and excellent service!

Do you want to have a great meal with a stunning view? So, you got it! I was astonished to see this outdoor area and didn't think twice when I was asked where I would like to sit. The service was also a highlight: our waitress was super kind, every time around us asking if we needed something else, and a plus: also cared about our baby girl. And the food: OMG. We ordered the Rocky shrimp as an appetizer that was fabulous. Then some rolls: salmon avocado, spicy tuna, spicy salmon and California. They also come with a miso soup or house salad we ordered one of each. I really enjoyed the salad, it was super different than I ever tasted. I just don’t get why they are so empty during a Sunday lunch. Hope this review can help to improve their flow.

The sashimi is incredibly high quality. The Service is a breath of fresh air for Greensboro Dining. The entire staff here actually cares about providing attentive Service. I love dining here. Nice place! Took my mom here for mother's day and it was definitely packed but still room at the bar. Due to that we waited a long time for our food, but the bartender/server was very kind and attentive. We had ordered miso soup that was forgotten but immediately brought out when she realized. The split spring roll/rangoon appetizer was small (only 2 of each) but tastes very good and held us over. The hot sake was good but did not stay hot long at all you basically have to drink it up immediately. I got the crispy honey chicken and it tasted good but it wasn't at all what I had assumed. It's basically just breaded chicken with a honey sauce on the side, of which I had to ask for more of. Mom's dish was flavorful at least. All in all I felt like the place was a tad overpriced for certain things and it was *almost* there but falling a bit short. I'd like to come back and see if we could have a better experience and perhaps choose something else on the menu that matches the price.

An absolute hidden gem— how come I’ve never heard of this restaurant? The inside was beautiful; white cloth tables, cultural interior designs, etc. This spot is perfect for a date night. We enjoyed the lovely service and food. Would love to visit again. You are provided warm hands towels after eating and I thought that was a very thoughtful touch to the service.

We have eaten here a number of times and never had any issues. Tonight we picked up dinner and all of it was a miss. The sweet potato roll which is normally very good but this time just had literally raw sweet potato in it. The spicy salmon roll was covered in some kind of oil and also had some kind of oil dripping out of it and the seaweed wrap was very very chewy. We have gotten these things many times and they’ve always been amazing. Maybe they just had an off night but it ruined our dinner.

The Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts is a modern facility that can accommodate around 3,000 people. It hosts a wide range of events, such as concerts, the Bryan Series by Guilford College, performances by the Greensboro Symphony Orchestra, comedy shows, and various family-friendly entertainments like Broadway productions. The center opened in 2021 and has already attracted some of the biggest shows in the industry.
Wow, what a fantastic center, my first time there and I’ve got to tell you it ranks with some of the best in the world! I’m from Tucson Arizona and have been to many major performance centers in major cities and this one is great! The Keb Mo / Shawn Colvin show was out of this world!!
Mike A — Google review
My review is based on this being my first show here, Joe Bonamassa, and seating in the left lodge box. All employees and ushers were extra nice and eager to direct you to your seat. I was met by 2 ushers in the left lodge hallway who were very friendly and 1 escorted me to my box seat. They did not do that for anyone else, save for a lady in a motorized wheelchair in accessible seating. The venue was very nice and clean. Overall it gave the impression of being well maintained and trying hard to be upscale. The seating throughout had nice clear views of the stage as I took a stroll around the whole place. They have beverages and alcohol sales in cans, wine, and mixed drinks. Now for the bad. The sound was terrible, yes I mean awful!! Many people were saying the same in the restroom and on the way out. I don't know if it was bad just in the lodge area or if it was due to soundboard person the PA or house PA. It was muffled and way too much bass as it overpowered Joe's leads which was why we were all there. Also the show ended at 10:15pm! What I thought was break was the encode. To pay this much for tickets and only get 2 hours of music is plain a ripoff!!!

I've had a Broadway Season membership for the last three years, and it's really a great value! My kids, their friends, and my friends have been able to join us, and I love seeing all of the new shows every year. The staff is always top tier, and as long as that keep our little charcuterie boxes, the intermission lines are worth it! 🤣 The drinks are good and stiff, and the crowd can be too -- depends on the show. I've seen so many shows there, Boyz II Men being first, and most recently Beauty and The Beast on Broadway. Great venue, great location, and better shows!
Devyn G — Google review
Loved going here for the comedy show my bestie booked for us 😊 such a nice place and the staff were so friendly and helpful 😊

The Tanger Center has the performances I want to see so I will travel to see those. I've lost count of the times I've been there and have figured out where I like to sit. The sound and views are great here. The lobby is nice and open. There are many elevators to get you to higher seating levels or the Prelude Dining. Prelude dining is convenient before the shows and the food and service are high quality. There is still inconsistency with bags as policy when my ticket was purchased wasn't enforced at the last two shows I attended so it seems anything goes. Security is friendly and you just walk through so it is easy.

The professionalism of the office staff really leaves something to be desired. The marketing director could take some pointers from reputable brands who are able to respond to constructive criticism from consumers. Being able to accept feedback is a very important part of being a business leader, and Ashley Russell hasn’t quite mastered this yet. It’s also cute how she replies negatively on social media posts, and then logs into Friendly Center’s account and “loves” her own comments. Girl, please.

We were a group of four adults, there to see Nobody 2. The establishment was very clean. The reclining seats were cozy and comfortable for relaxing while enjoying the movie. They were well stocked with a vast selection of snacks and drinks available. Everyone had a great time and will return again.

Very excited to have new restaurants and stores, but tell me: where are all the people supposed to park? Where are the public restrooms? Do better! For heaven's sake put some more bathrooms that are for public use because you go to any mall in America there are multiple restrooms areas. HUGE annoyance for businesses.... especially since plumbing has been an issue thus no buisnesses do not have public facilities.

Just found out that Friendly center kicked out one of the last Boutiques Pink Poppy (they moved to High Point no thanks to you) because they aren’t a chain and locally owned by a mom and three daughters! I’ve heard you are also planning to kick out all small business by next year if they don’t have a permanent lease meant for big box stores. Pink Poppy was there for 5 years and you kicked them out even though they in my opinion were one of the busiest stores on the new side. You barely even gave them a warning!! This is an absolute travesty, the fact that people call this place a treasure is a joke. What made it a treasure was the local stores in it. Now what are you going to do friendly, put up another chain restaurant? Yeah that’s exactly what we need. You are taking away this experience from your customers and for what? I will be telling everyone I know not to shop here anymore.

The Friendly Shopping Center has one thing holding it back, an INCOMPETENT manager! The manager, Sandi Malcom, has always given delivery drivers, workers, and business owners issues throughout the years. Sandi goes above and beyond to drive out stores and make the ones who stays lives a living HELL! On top of the already HORRENDOUS parking situation behind stores, Sandi makes sure that delivery drivers and waste management trucks have minimal space to operate by putting dumpsters in the most INCONVENIENT places! Some deliveries take longer, already stretched thin parking is pushed to the limit, its a complete DISASTER! Mismanagement at its finest! Find another manager or DON'T take your business here!

Nestled in Greensboro, Four Seasons Town Centre is a vibrant three-story indoor mall that offers an exciting shopping and dining experience all under one roof. With over 140 popular chain stores to explore, it’s the perfect destination for both retail therapy and culinary delights. The food court caters to diverse tastes, while the bowling and amusement center adds a fun twist to your visit.
Went shopping yesterday at at Greensboro‘s 4 Seasons Mall. There was plenty of parking. Security was doing the rounds and parking lot. Everything was clean and looks safe. Inside everything was very clean, music was softly playing. The store was not busy. It was on a Monday evening. The mall hours are 11 AM until 8 PM. The sales clerk greeted me when I arrived in that section of the store. When I made my selections and wanted to go into the dressing room , she carried my things for me and unlocked the dressing room door. When I finished trying on my selections I needed a different size a couple of tops. The clerk found the size that I needed. I purchased the items I wanted, from my FAVORITE DESIGNER at 40% off. My shopping experience was excellent. I have shopped in this mall many times and I will shop there again.

This was my first time visiting this mall. I found it to be an extremely pleasant place to visit. It seems like malls are dying out around the country but this one seems to be doing well. No closed locations inside as you walk around. Two anchor merchants on each end of the mall. A well stocked food court is also a plus. It’s worth a stop if you’re coming through Greensboro.
Francis H — Google review
I understand that there have been certain activities that caused the mall to want to close early and change the atmosphere from fun to completely controlled and unappealing with mostly basic stores selling overpriced cheap clothing. I get that, but the overall experience is abysmal. The food court is horrible. I haven’t had a good meal there in the last two years. The lines are always long, and the owners are consistently rude. The last time I went, there was even a fire. On top of that, the security guards do not do their jobs. They’re always chit-chatting, hanging around, smoking, and having a good time. Meanwhile, how come I can’t enjoy shopping, but they can enjoy slacking off outside instead of protecting the perimeter? People are stealing in groups, and if everyone is getting away with it, what’s the point of even having security guards? To make matters worse, all the escalators are broken. What’s the point of a mall if people can’t even get from floors one to three without working escalators?
Mony — Google review
The mall feels old and outdated. When it rains, water drips from the ceiling and collects in buckets around the place. Definitely needs renovation and better maintenance.

I like this mall. It has 3 stories and plenty of stores. You can easily get your daily steps in just by walking around and browsing the mall. They also have plenty of security roaming the parking lot, so it’s relatively safe.

Located in downtown Greensboro, Boxcar Bar + Arcade is the ultimate destination for a fun-filled date night. Since 2016, this lively spot has been offering over 70 arcade games, a full bar with 24 craft American drafts, and a pizza shop all under one roof. The spacious outdoor patio provides ample seating and hosts live performances regularly. Additionally, the venue supports the LGBTQIA2S+ community through various initiatives and events.
This was our first time here but we look forward to going back. My husband, myself and our 19 year old had a great time playing games. It was nice to be able to sit outside to take a break from the noise of the games. We had dinner plans but you can eat there as well. Glad we found Boxcar online when we were looking for something to do.

A very fun arcade! Filled with games of all kinds - something for everyone. Every game was up and running (I've been to arcades with machines that are perpetually offline, so I appreciated that wasn't the case here.) We got drinks and pizza as well. The decor was fun and the atmosphere was lively.
Rachel B — Google review
What a hidden gem this arcade turned out to be! All of the games work and there is not a single game that goes over #4 tokens. They have great food, a bar, and loads of free events! The bar even does "mock"tails for those of us that don't want alcohol. The pinball selection is wonderful! This is a must stop location for everyone looking for a good time and YES, this place is kid friendly until a certain time at night).

Great place for a date night or to chill with friends. Tons of arcade games, strong drinks and clean. The food selection was small....mostly pizza, pretzels, and salad. I would love to see a burger on the menu. It's right in the heart of downtown Greensboro. Definitely recommend!

Wifey and I were looking for something fun and random to do and this place delivered. They had a ton of amazing arcade games. Great atmosphere. Long list of drink selections. Also located super close to a bunch of other great food spots and drink spots. Easy parking located close with a parking meter but if your hanging out for a bit the one time daily fee is convenient and affordable. Would highly recommend them. Oh also the photo op spots were our favorite thing 😁

Just a great place to visit. Pinball and games all in great working order. Machines run on tokens and it is easier to bring cash for tokens. Pinball machines are in very good mechanical condition and flippers are very responsive. The staff was great and very friendly. Parking is a paid lot but roomy and plenty of spaces. Larger pickup trucks can fit. A great experience

Let me start out by saying I LOVE this place. I always have a great time, I’ve been for Halloween, new years, and st Patrick’s day— and each event is better than the last. The bartenders are friendly and work their asses off to serve the crowds of people, I’m not knocking that. But this Halloween, we had a problem with the way the bar in the event space was being run. Again, I’ve been through the service industry and around hoards of drunk people just wanting their drink. So I get the stress of it all. But the problem was that this bartender in the event space was taking cards to pay for drinks, charging whatever, and adding whatever tip he wanted. No receipt or nothing, and we only realized this because the people I was with got transaction notifications on their phone. Look, I would have tipped. I always do, and I even commented to someone about how the tip jars were empty and this guy deserved more for being the only one back there. But after realizing he was adding his own tips, I guess it’s safe to say he didn’t need it.
Rachel ( — Google review
Rudest front desk lady ever. First of all how are you letting kids in without id’s. Second, I understand that you may not allow outside food or drinks but the rudeness. I’m sorry but you just lost a group of 40 customers because of a rude individual trying to serve people. It’s okay we will go to Bourbon Bowl where employees understand that the way you receive good reviews and customers is based on how you treat them. And btw forcing a woman that was drunk to chug a drink can put her in the hospital.

Nestled in the heart of Greensboro, the Greensboro Coliseum stands as one of the East Coast's premier entertainment hubs. This expansive venue has a rich history, having hosted an array of events since its inception in 1972, including everything from thrilling ACC tournaments to electrifying concerts featuring iconic artists like The Monkees and Phish. Known affectionately as "Tournament Town," Greensboro celebrates its athletic legacy with a dedicated exhibit showcasing memorable moments from the Atlantic Coast Conference's storied past.
Went with my wife and friends for the Garba event during Navratri and had a fantastic time. Atul Purohit’s live singing made the night even more special. The venue was spacious, well organized, and handled the big crowd smoothly. Parking and entry were easy, and the atmosphere was lively and full of energy.

We attended the Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live event at this coliseum. The event was awesome and the staff were very helpful and attentive. Some of the public areas were a little bit dirty. Overall, a real neat event space!

Decent crowd management. Pay for good seats...2nd level seats are not for large folks. Come with nothing but a wallet. Security is good and will catch alot of "contraband" if brought in. Pay to park is high, suggest going as a large group and carpooling.
J. B — Google review
Each time will be a different experience as it will depend on the event, occasion, and time to a certain extent. This time was for the inaugural game for the Greensboro Gargoyles at the First Horizon Coliseum. Parking was on the cheaper side for events. $10. Now whether it will remain that cheap remains to be seen. Spots were plenty. It was no hassle getting in and even to the seats. No long waits. Now there were waits for some of the better food options and merchandise. The game was excellent, and although it was a loss, great to see hockey!
Heath S — Google review
Nice seating. Easy to park for a rock concert. No acoustical sound dampers in the ceiling to produce a cleaner sound but still a good rocking time.
Stephen — Google review
Great place for concerts. We saw sleep token and it was a blast. Only concerning thing was security wasn’t great. They kinda just let us walk in and that’s concerning especially with all that’s going on. I wouldn’t want anything happening to people around and the performers.

Worst experience of my life. Bought over $500 in tickets to go to hornets vs grizzlies game, got to the game 1 hour before game start and didn’t get into the stadium till half time. Super unorganized and a huge safety issue. No lines just a mob of people. Also don’t know what’s going on when “your low on security” so they let everyone through the metal detector and didn’t check a thing. Really unsafe. Once we got to the place for them to check tickets they didn’t even look, they just let everyone in. I’m glad I spent more than $500 for everyone to get in. Super disappointed, absolutely terrible experience. Wouldn’t recommend if you want a safe and organized event. Awful.
Cole H — Google review
Absolutely ridiculous experience. They have zero people coordinating lines for a months long sold out show. It’s absolutely pathetic. There are 25 different lines and people running rampant trying to get in. They have people circling round and round in an alleyway behind the aquatic center. 3 different loops like some awful game of Snake. Update! Someone working FOR THE COLISEUM “it’s not my job to manage the line”

We had ladies day outing here the day before so, I called Red Cinemas Greensboro location and spoke with the manager James he told me a ring was found and asked me to describe the ring he was even awesome enough to send me a text image so that I could confirm before making the almost 2 hour drive, this is far beyond EXCELLENT customer service, this is life changing customer service!! Overall positive experience. Purchased tickets online in advance and check in was super easy. Amenities seemed standard and clean. The theater I was sat in was small but accommodating. We typically enjoy coming to this movie theatre but we went to see a movie that just came out today (we were waiting months for this to come out!) It said the movie started at 5:30 and we arrived at 5:37 thinking there were previews. When we got there, the movie had already started but we assumed it was the beginning. We sat down and watched about 20 minutes of it, then the credits started rolling. So they basically showed us the end of the movie which completely ruined the experience for us. Probably won’t return.

This is the first time in a while coming to Red. It needs some work. All of the floors were sticky. The seats are very worn. It's not what I remember. From past visits and based on that recollection I recommended Red to several people; perhaps I should not have done that. Perhaps we will come back in the future and it will be renovated. Good luck Red Cinemas.

Went to see Fantastic 4 today at 1:55pm. After purchasing tickets, the employee behind the counter left her work station to hug and talk to a friend while someone was right behind me wanting to order tickets. On top of that, they had the theater pitch black when we entered. Went back and forth 3 times letting employees know that the film was not playing. Finally asked for a refund at 2:20pm and was told that they couldn’t fix the issue. Yet no one came to the theater to let anyone know. I had to go back to let people know to ask for refunds because the employees and management didn’t send anyone to notify them. I have never had an issue here before. But with how unprofessional staff was today, I will never go again on a Sunday. Hopefully this never happens again on a different day.
Anthony E — Google review
I had not been to a movie theater in 4 years but this theater changed me. Usually I hate movie theaters for being cold and expensive and uncomfortable but this was the opposite! The prices were reasonable. The luxury seating was worth the price and 5:25 pm is a matinee price! What a deal! And there is local beer on tap from the great brewery across the street (and more.) Hard for our gluten free friends. The theater was clean and had overall good service. I almost forgot to mention few previews. Over great experience and I’ll be back sooner than 4 years!

This was the most fun I have had in a long time. By the time we left my daughter told me it was the best day ever. If that's not a sign of approval from a 9 year old I don't know what is. We drove 2 hours to get here and didn't think to make an appointment and they were able to squeeze us in! So glad they did because I will definitely be coming back. It was so worth that drive. You can pick your own music and just go in a zone as you paint everything in the room. The staff is all friendly and explained everything so well.

Chuck E. Cheese is a beloved family-friendly destination that combines arcade games, delicious pizza, and exciting play zones for kids of all ages. Recently, I had the pleasure of visiting one of their locations with my little ones, and it was an absolute delight! The venue may be small but offers a fantastic trampoline area that kept my toddlers entertained for hours. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by friendly staff who made us feel welcome.
My family and I visited this location for the first time with two toddlers. They had a very fun time with the different games. We stayed for about two hours and arrived at about 1130am. The staff was very kind, helpful and engaged. The facilities itself was clean and free of smells which was very important to us. The restroom was clean as well. We ordered some food and was able to find seating without issues also. I would definitely be back to visit.

Don't waste your time or hard earn money here. My family came here on a Friday night for a birthday party for my nephew, who's 6 years old. The staff acted like they didn't want to be here and didn't want to help the customers. The games kept breaking down and they no one wanted to fix them. They all said it's not my job. They didn't want to turn the games off that's not working and didn't want to refund the cost of games to our cards. I remember Chuck E. Cheese being a really fun and exciting place growing up. And, whoever they have dressing up the Chuck e cheese outfit, that person is a joke. No life, no energy, no excitement, no wonder the kids didn't wanna be around it. The kids would've had more fun if we would've played putt putt and ride go carts.

SOMETHING EVERY PARENT NEEDS TO KNOW: As if they're not getting enough money from you for a very unorganized mess of a party, be prepared to spend more money for a necessary item they don't tell you about in advance. When signing up for a party, parents should be made well-aware that you have to purchase anti-slip socks to play on the bounce house/trampoline. You can buy them at the "discounted" price of $9 if you're with a party. You can probably buy a multi pack at Walmart for about that much and have enough pairs for everyone in the group. Also, this place is WAY overcrowded! There are not enough employees that actually care about their jobs here. This is supposed to be a fun environment for families, and the workers here are just rude. You have adults running over children, and the employees are doing nothing about it. They need to restrict the number of parties and customers in the building at one time. I'm pretty sure the max occupants is exceeded at some point on weekends.

Book store
Scuppernong Books is a charming independent bookstore located in downtown Greensboro, offering an extensive collection of books that cater to various interests. The store features a diverse selection, including current events, classic poetry, and even rare books. With a dedicated children's section, the bookstore provides a welcoming environment for young readers to explore literature.
Bookstore was gorgeous, atmosphere was devine and just beyond cozy. The staff are kind and so helpful. The Chai Tea was delicious!! Definitely recommend as a bookclub venue or just to check out everything they offer.

Lovely bookstore, with such a great warm atmosphere. They have some suggestive books and it seems the majority of novels are definitely catered towards a select audience but other than that, it’s a nice little shop.
Tiana G — Google review
I loved the bookstore and the selection, their inclusivity is abundant and beautiful. I was not incredibly impressed to pay cover price for a used book with damage and crayon marks on the cover, but maybe that’s just me being picky.

I had been walking around downtown Greensboro a lot and was so glad I stumbled into this cozy, locally owned bookstore. It was the perfect place to take a break—grab a book, read a few pages, and relax in the charming back area. I loved the thrifted, vintage-style furniture—it adds so much character and makes the space feel warm and inviting. A real hidden gem!

Scuppernong has been a yearly road trip stop for us! The welcoming atmosphere and fresh selection keep us coming back to see what's new. We appreciate that a variety of voices, perspectives, and identities are always reflected on the shelves. It's a huge bonus that they serve good coffee and espresso at the store as well; we've never left without getting a drink of some sort!

Love this local independent bookstore. They serve wine and beer, you can bring your dog, and they have a great selection of used books in the back. They host and promote local authors and the city of Greensboro. A real gem.

Beautiful store in the heart of downtown GSO right on south Elm. While the offering may not be the largest, you will almost certainly find something that will catch your interest.

Cozy and quiet spot for reading and having a fresh made coffee. They have a large book selection of both new and pre-owned books. The staff was kind, and the coffee was tasty.

honestly this place is an amazing place to go just to have fun and skate with friends or by yourself. It is also a good place to take lessons my beautiful girlfriend takes the basic lessons and her coach is very nice and helpful. most the people are very friendly. I’ve only ever had 1bad experience and that was when i had issues with 2 different skates. The first skates you just couldn’t tie right and the second skates folded on the right side of my left food to the point i just couldn’t stand with out them folding over and being a hazard. i used there rental skates that wasn’t the problem the problem was the people there was 2 men working and the first one gave me the the second pair after the first didn’t tie. the guy behind him was talking and seamed very annoyed i interrupted. then when i had to go back and give the second pair back that same guy that was annoyed last time said “well you ARE working with rentals so there’s only so much i can” while rolling his eyes and being visibly annoyed and said it with a very condescending tone. other then that it’s really been a good time all around the hole time i’ve been going.

Amazing Ice rink with excellent customer service. Plenty of hockey leagues and programs for all ages and skill level as well as figure skating lessons. There is also public skate on the weekends. The environment is always fun and casual and I really enjoy coming here!

Went for open skate on a Saturday. Ample parking. Good crowd. Music was nice. However, the ice hadn't been cleared in some time, and the rink was mostly dark due to lights being out/off.
Ghenet L — Google review
First time going, attended very quickly and all questions i had were answered throughly. Good prices for entry and rentals. Went on an open skate night and it was very beginner friendly. Tons of space to skate considering almost all shoe rentals were taken. Lots of space off the ice to sit and watch/talk. Staff on the ice periodically to check in on people. P.S. expect to fall if you’re new

It was great idea to have our teenage son's birthday party here. Hannah took care of us from the time we walked in until we left! She even served our food! We ordered 2 pizzas, 2 pitchers of soda, popcorn bucket, cake, and they furnished the paper goods. My son had 10 people including him, and they all enjoyed skating. He said he and his friends really had fun. Success!

The state-of-the-art swimming pool, Greensboro Aquatic Center, is located at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex and features leading edge aquatic design concepts. It offers a range of indoor activities such as lap swimming, swim lessons, diving competitions and a community pool.
We attended NCAA tournament at GAC recently. It is probably the best swimming facility we have ever been. The tournament was well organized and everything went smoothly including parking and ticketing.
Trey Q — Google review
PARKING SPACES ARE FAR TOO NARROW. Not sure what idiot designed the parking lot, but they must drive a mini. Ridiculous. Shame, as the aquatics center itself is excellent, with nice, clean facilities. The food and drink are ridiculously priced at $5 for a water?! and the automated teller asks for a tip?!
Stewarts A — Google review
Awesome facility. Had a chance to workout and swim in the competition pool of which is rare. Facility is very clean, organized and friendly staff. Look forward to visiting again soon.
David G — Google review
It's cute. I appreciate the training pool by having shallow and deep options available that's a full 25 yards each way. The locker rooms are ewww but I'm an old lady. Shout out to private lessons! Ms. Skye is a real MVP and taught me how to swim again after an accident in my youth.
Carlissa J — Google review
It's a great facility but if you're a member of the public (not an athlete) you will not be able to access lap swimming in this facility for months at a time during competition seasons. Check out their "Events" page before paying for a membership. From May - August of 2025, I paid $180. And if you look at their events list: 5/2-4: Event 5/9-10: Event 5/16-18: Event 6/6-8: Event 6/13-15: Event 6/19-22: Event 6/26-29: Event 7/6: Event 7/10-12: Event 7/13: Event 7/15: Event 7/17-20: Event 7/23-26: Event That means I paid $180 to have 40 potential days to lap swim in the past 90. Also, lap swimming is largely unavailable to the public before 8AM and after 4PM, hardly available Saturday, and always closed Sunday. So hopefully you have a job like me where I can take a lunch break to swim - otherwise, it's just not worth it to have a membership here as a novice swimmer.
Kirstie K — Google review
I love the Greensboro Aquatic Center and the pool is amazing and the staff is very polite and helpful. I am in town for business and I look forward to swimming in this pool. They also accept silver sneakers. So if your in town definitely stop by and go for a swim and you will be glad that you did

Great place for a swim meet. Fast pool, good sound system, good spectator stands, warm up/cool down pool. Parking spaces are typical ... a little tight, reasonable charge for parking $5-7?

My son, Kingzton, had the best swimming lessons at the Greensboro Aquatic Center! His instructor, Mr. Ben, was absolutely amazing. He not only taught Kingzton how to swim but also made sure he understood the importance of water safety, which gave me so much peace of mind as a parent. Mr. Ben was patient, encouraging, and made each lesson fun and engaging. I truly appreciate the care and professionalism he showed throughout the program. I highly recommend the Greensboro Aquatic Center and Mr. Ben to any parent looking for quality swim lessons!

The park also offers boat rides on the expansive lake, making it an ideal spot for a full day of enjoyment. Recent renovations have enhanced the park's facilities, including improved parking and upgraded amenities like picnic tables and chairs.

Gillian R — Google review
City Lake Park is a beautiful park with many amenities. It has a new pool and water park, a new multi level main playground, new / updated fencing around the main playground. The fenced playground makes it safe for people with multiple children, or those with elopers, however, the main playground area is very large, so it is still possible to lose sight of children even though they are still in the fenced area. There is only 1 playground entrance, and it is open all day and locked at night. The new playground includes sensory boards and music, steel tongue drum, xylophone, and drums, etc. Multiple climbing structures. Swings for young and old. Slides. Merry go round. Views of the lake and views of the train, when it's running. Play house area. Some benches and picnic tables. Main playground is mulch. Park also has a carousel, putt putt, and a small train. These are only open in the summer months, on weekends when school is in session, and daily when school is out of session. There are a few picnic shelters, and the park is often being used for gatherings and celebrations. The park does have closing hours a little but before dark, which vary depending on time of year, and staff will force you to leave when that time comes. Bathrooms will be locked prior to closing, and all gates will be locked so the park is inaccessible.

There Alot of different things to do to keep interests. There's a train. Mini golf. A merry go round. A ferry. Paddleboats. And a really nice new playground. You can fish here and rent paddleboats and kayaks. Also, if I'm not mistaken, they have hiking trails too.

If you're looking for a thrilling way to explore Greensboro's nightlife, the Carolina History & Haunts Greensboro Ghost Tour is an absolute must! This captivating walking tour takes you through the city's haunted history by candlelight, led by knowledgeable and entertaining guides. Over 90 minutes, you'll visit various locations tied to historical events from the Revolutionary and Civil Wars while hearing intriguing stories that bring these sites to life—or perhaps afterlife! Participants rave about their experiences, often highlighting how engaging and witty the guides are.
Our guide, Rachel, presented an amazingly captivating experience through her storytelling on the Greensboro ghost tour. You can tell that not only has she been a tour guide for many years but her background in the theatre and history provides the best storytelling of the past and it was a memorable venture into the supernatural. Rachel's storytelling skills were exceptional, seamlessly weaving historical facts with chilling legends to create an immersive experience. Each stop on the tour was meticulously chosen, and the guide’s ability to blend local lore with personal anecdotes added an authentic touch to the ghostly tales. Rachel’s engaging manner kept the group captivated throughout, and their deep knowledge of the area’s haunted history enriched the experience. Whether recounting eerie occurrences in historical buildings or sharing spine-tingling stories from old graveyards, their passion for the subject was evident and infectious. For those interested in ghost stories and local history, this tour is a must. It strikes a perfect balance between entertainment and education, making it an engaging choice for both enthusiasts and casual participants. The experience left me with a new appreciation for the eerie and mysterious side of local folklore.

A friend and I went with a group of 4 on this tour and it was amazing! 👌 The guide is funny, full of wit, and knows her stuff when it comes to these locations. I love that she has a deep love of history therefore knows tidbits and facts others may not. ☺️ We had a blast, lasted an hour and half, and absolutely will be making another trip on another tour with this same guide if possible! It was 80 degrees and lined up perfectly with the sunset. I wore jeans and was very comfortable the whole time. Bring water as there are a few inclines I wish I had brought mine along for 😅 Have a blast and watch your peripherals 👀

A friend treated me to the tour for my birthday. Our tour guide Oliver was informative and engaging. Nice mix of paranormal with the related history of the city at the time. Definitely recommend.
Robin L — Google review
This was so much fun and very informative. I don't believe in ghosts but I'm a huge cryptid fan (and I consume more ghost content than the average believer). There was plenty of interesting historical stuff on this tour, even for a skeptic. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and entertaining, with a great sense of humor and a voice strong enough to carry over traffic. We had a huge group and she did well wrangling everyone and making sure no one got left behind. My favorite ghost was Otto, the interior designer. This is a good way to spend an hour and a half and familiarize yourself with the area, while getting a little exercise. And for only $19 a pop! Some fair warnings: -Be prepared for walking. The terrain is beginner level but you will have to cross streets and sometimes paths are narrow enough to only walk one abreast. - Parts are uphill, although these are relatively few. - You will also be doing all this in the dark, so if you have poor night vision make sure your phone is charged. - There aren't a lot of benches or seats so wear shoes you can comfortably stand in for upwards of an hour and a half. - Be willing to suspend your disbelief. It's supposed to be fun!

We had an AMAZING time on the tour with Guide Rachel. She's an awesome guide! Thank you for a great first experience for my son. On the tour, we all saw a few people standing in the alley way, BUT not quite sure who the two figures are on the SIDE of the Biltmore Hotel Building. Looks like one was trying to catch the other from falling. Hmmm... Any guess??

I visited this place on my son's field trip. I was blown away on how massive this place was. Plenty of seating and pool umbrellas. It has 3 water slides perked on top of a slope. The swimming pools are Olympics size where you can practice some laps. It has a water splash area as well as a cute lazy river. On the other side of facility, it has a nice sprawling park where you can have picnic. The building itself is very well maintained with some nice spaces for events and birthday parties. Even though it says High Point, this pool is in Jamestown in close proximity to Guildford Technical Community College.

This is an outstanding park to say the least. A fun place including boating, fishing, playgrounds, and picnic shelters. Great to spend the day for the whole family. There is a beautiful wooden walking bridge that goes across the lake. You don’t want to pass this beautiful place up. Also a great place to ride your bike.

What a beautiful park. We came to visit for a family outing and ended up at the 51st year celebration. This beautiful park features fishing, a boat ride on the lake, paddle boats, canoes, walking bridge, a train ride, a playground, beautiful shade trees, a carousel for all ages, eating areas with grills, and more. Visit this lovely park. (Closed at the time) There is also a waterside to the park with an Olympic sized pool, lazy river, waterslides, and a splash pad. There are restrooms on the premises. It is dog friendly. A great place for the family.

Nice place for kids to spend the day. I want to rent a kayak and get out on the lake to be by myself with God but I'm with a controlling person who wouldn't let me experience that. The lake looks huge and everything here is in good newish shape. Not overly crowded either
Allison G — Google review
This park is well laid out. It has a lake, a little smaller than Winston Lake with rentals for kayaks, fishing boats and a tour boat. There are numerous covered pavilions, some with barbecue pits. There are water slides, and a new swimming pool, a few toddler splash areas, and a modern conference center. There is a small carousel and a miniature golf area. Now that's what I call a park!
Donna S — Google review
City Lake is a treasure with a fantastic boat launch, nice sand, easy to get in and out. The scenery is so much more than you get from driving through the park. So many nice folks out on the water doing litter clean up and getting snagged fishing line off the branches in the coves. I was amazed at wildlife and flowers blooming. Then I heard a weed-eater blasting, and came back to the present 😂 The staff at the marina was so nice and helpful. Little and Alice were a hit! Change your perspective and hit the water!
Larice W — Google review
A beautiful park, lots of pavilions and grills, plenty of room for multiple families. A huge pool that was way overcrowded if you ask me but everybody looked like they were having a good time, kayaks which I would have loved to have tried but it was way too hot to be out on that water. They also had boats, you are able to fish. It's just a lot to do there and there was a walking trail. It's a nice park.

If you find yourself in Greensboro, make sure to visit the Greensboro Public Library - Central Library, a vibrant hub of activity and resources. This downtown gem hosts a variety of free events that cater to all interests, from engaging clubs like chess to enriching children's programs designed to foster literacy and a love for reading. The library is conveniently located near beautiful parks and offers friendly staff ready to assist with book recommendations or research tools.
The Greensboro Public Library – Central Library is truly one of the best places in town for kids and families. The children’s area is beautifully decorated, bright, and incredibly spacious, creating a fun and welcoming environment for kids of all ages. What makes this library stand out is how kid-friendly it is. There’s always something going on to keep little ones engaged – from story times to hands-on activities. In fact, they offer daily children’s programs, and you can easily check the schedule online to plan your visit around them. My kids always have a great time here. Whether they're reading, exploring the space, or joining in on an activity, they’re always excited to come back. Plus, the staff is super friendly and helpful, which adds to the overall warm and positive atmosphere. If you're looking for a free, fun, and enriching experience for your kids in Greensboro, the Central Library should definitely be on your list!

I love the central library. Come here all the time with my nieces/nephews/sons/daughters, sometimes by myself for some books for them. Story time is a blast for them. Mr. Pete is one of the best, if not, the best childrens librarians we have come across. He treats everyone with respect and makes them feel welcome. Everyone has their point of view and individual experience. Stating that, I see the person who last rated say that he was rude. I was actually there witnessing this transpire. Ma'am, if you were a "helicopter mom" as you put it, why did you allow your child to go behind the staff desk? A very obvious off limits area for children or anyone else. Seemed odd, but I guess your child is the exception and should have free will to go and do as they please. You were barely containing your child and allowing them to run up and down the childrens area, all while you were giggling and paying more attention your phone. Heaven forbid Mr. Pete should have to say something to your little angel while you're scrolling through facebook. All in all, Mr. Pete has been nothing but amazing. ARRIBA SENOR PETE!
Mike W — Google review
I really love this library, but the drug addicts that are permanently outside is a huge deterrent for me. I don't feel safe taking my kids here, even with my husband. And after you go inside you'll see them all over the library sleeping. The city NEEDS to do something about this. HELP THEM.
Sirah — Google review
The library is in a nice location downtown near the parks. The staff is friendly and they have a bit of great resources. I like using their Libby app to download free audiobooks. I also like how they validate parking in the nearby ramp for up to two hours. You just put your parking ticket into a machine near the front door. One downside is that the checkout machines are about 20 years old, so it can be difficult at times to check out books automatically. You may need to run them through multiple times or bring them to one of the helpful librarians. But overall, it’s a great place!
Daniel W — Google review
This is such a beautiful library! The children's section has amazing murals, a wide selection in multiple media formats, and a wonderful music and story time. The book selection is pretty varied. They didn't have several of the books I was looking for, but they seem a bit hard to find in general, so that wasnt surprising. There is a bit of construction going on, but it isn't too loud inside the library. A parking garage sits right beside the building and offers close parking, however it was pretty dark inside and the general surrounding area is a bit run down.
Alia S — Google review
This is a nice library. Modern decor, well maintained and very spacious. Librarian staff have always been very helpful & I have been pleasantly surprised with the access that it provides to classic pieces, a s well as modern and recent titles. The parking deck offers one hour of free parking during the week and is free on weekends. Enjoy!

My experience/time at this library is always interrupted by librarians, security, and others bullying me. It's been a MAJOR distraction to me trying to work on my work to get it down. The environment there is negative. I love the other libraries in Greensboro because they're more positive environments and it makes me feel like everyone is welcome. If you're looking to unwind after a busy day, Brown Truck Brewery is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy some craft brews. Nestled in Uptowne High Point, this brewery has gained national recognition while maintaining its local charm. Picture yourself sipping on their No. 50 Brown Ale on the inviting patio, surrounded by soft lighting and lush greenery that create a cozy atmosphere.
I can't wait to go back and spend time on the patio. The outdoor seating looked amazing. I really enjoyed the beer and wished the Mexican Stout was in a bottle to shelve for a while. The bartenders were sweet, but not the most knowledgeable about the beer.

Brown Truck Brewery is very inviting from the street. Their outdoor areas soft lighting and greenery around the patio is very pleasing. The large brick fireplace made it even more appealing on this crispy night. There are picnic tables as well as outdoor sofas for comfortable seating. Lobster Dogs food truck was parked near the entrance, one of many trucks that frequent this lovely establishment. We were treated to soft Tortilla pork & chicken tacos from a business down the block. The tacos went perfectly with their selection of beers. The #40 Harvest Saison was a dark orange pumpkin brewed sensation that made you remember it was fall. The #4.5 Dry Hopped Saison made with a variety of citrus, leaning more towards grapefruit, giving it a perfect bitterness to compliment the spicy sauces on my tacos. The inside is small & cozy but perfect to grab a seasonal beer and go with family and friends. The entire staff is friendly and service oriented, always with a smile. I look forward to returning and showing others from Winston-Salem this great High Point Brewery.

Drove by this place about 9:30pm and was drawn to it by the beautiful patio lights. I had never been to this establishment before so I wanted to look around & get a drink. I walked up to the bar and the staff didn’t even attempt to acknowledge me. No, hello. No, how are you doing. No, thanks for visiting but we are closing soon. Absolutely nothing. They kept cleaning the tables and putting up chairs. Needless to say I left. I hope the service here isn’t as terrible as tonight’s display because it truly has a beautiful patio but that type of “customer service” will definitely sever business potential.

Their beer is amazing. Foodtrucks are usually top notch. On this day they were amazing. Winner of multiple awards for their beer. The new awning was a game changer. The only negative is that it should be bigger. Took the food home. Thats a Joe Dirt and a Corleone. The other stuff on plate did not come from them. Food was not cheap but was obviously fresh and flavorful. Number 82 Porter was very tasty. One of pics has full description.

We had a fantastic time playing in the escape room! Our group of six will definitely be back to try the other experiences! Thank you Jasper and Maddie for being awesome Game Masters for our group!

My friends and I had a great time! Maddie was super welcoming/friendly, helpful with getting us started and with keeping us informed through the experience! Ash was also great to have around for the booking process, answering all questions and was super patient, making sure we got everything we wanted and needed for our experience. The escape room we chose was both challenging and fun. We didn’t think we’d actually make it out in time, but managed to make it out with only 4 minutes left on the clock! I’d definitely recommend checking it out. :)

We had an amazing time here! We did the jail escape room and it was a blast! Beth Ann was the one that helped us. She was great and very helpful. We will be back!😁

Beth Ann W. was absolutely fantastic as our puzzle master! Her energy, clever hints, and enthusiasm made the experience unforgettable. The puzzles were challenging but fair, and her guidance kept the game exciting without giving too much away. Highly recommend this room and Beth Ann’s incredible hosting!

We did the Container 51 puzzle with Jasper. I underestimated the escape room given the size, but I was pleasantly surprised at the variety and difficulty of the puzzles present. The props and interactive bits were unique too. There wasn't quite enough room for the 7 people that we had, but we made it work. Definitely in my top 5 escape rooms I've done.
