Train station
Located in Belfast, Titanic Quarter is a thriving neighborhood that has undergone significant urban waterfront regeneration. It is home to the iconic Titanic Belfast museum, which offers an interactive experience detailing the history of Belfast and the story of the RMS Titanic. Visitors can also enjoy a drink at Hicksons Point next door, marked by a striking Dockers Rest mural on its exterior wall. This area is definitely worth a visit for those interested in maritime history and vibrant urban spaces.
Good halt

A simple station, with ramps for wheelchair users. Great view on the Cranes from the platform. No toilets. There are some benches to sit down. There is no dot-matrix board to show train times.. but you do get announcements. There are two ticket machines.. one on each platform.. the one on the eastbound platform was not working. So purchased tickets on the train.
Ishwar N — Google review
This was a great station for departure, with lengthy platforms for the Translink services! Station signs are large and there is sufficient seating to wait, entrance is accessible although the bridge is quite a walk to get over to the other side of this station.

Exposed and could be so much better with next to no effort. But at the end of the day it's a train stop and at least it now links to titanic quarter and east Belfast.

The Merchant Hotel is a luxurious and elegant hotel located in a historic former bank building. The hotel offers various amenities including a spa, jazz bar, rooftop gym, and multiple bars and restaurants. Guests can enjoy the famous afternoon tea with homemade scones and a variety of menus to cater to different dietary preferences in the Victorian high-ceiling Great Room. The hotel's staff is highly praised for their exceptional service and willingness to assist guests with anything they need.
We loved this hotel. The breakfast room is just stunning. The rooms were attractive and a good size, and the air conditioning was quiet (and effective). The staff were warm, friendly, and helpful. The location was ideal for getting around Belfast. This is now our go to place when we visit. We’ll be back next year!

We stayed here the night of our wedding and everything was taken care of for us with our luggage already in our room ready for us to arrive. Whilst booking our stay many months before, we had been offered and accepted complimentary late check out (1pm) due to the occasion, and we were very grateful of this. Shortly before our stay we emailed to confirm details and were informed we were now not getting complimentary late check out until 1 but after a few emails back and forth, they could facilitate to 12:30 which we agreed to. The following day 12pm sharp and again at 12:20 there were knocks on our door encouraging us to get out. Not really what we had expected from the Merchant, especially for a hotel that prides it self on its luxury service and experience.
Gregory R — Google review
Great service, wonderful restaurants and bars, excellent location, and nice rooms. We stayed for a few nights and took advantage of all the restaurants and bars and we're very pleased. The staff is very professional and well presented. The room.we had was large and comfortable if a bit garish with the English Baroque decor. The bathroom was amazing - large, warm, and full of amenities. The breakfast in the Great Room restaurant was very nice. Dinner in Bert's Jazz Bar was great. Afternoon tea on our last day was our first proper English tea and, to our surprise, we were quite full at the end. The staff there were particularly warm and friendly and always met every need with a positive attitude. You may want to ask for a room away from Skipper Street as there is an outdoor bar that plays music well into the wee hours.
Brian Z — Google review
It looks great, but.. The merchant is in a very noisy nightclub area where music and partying goes on until 3am so be careful where you stay if you want to sleep. I've stayed here a number of times since it opened, but it's deteriorated from a leading 5 star hotel to a wedding venue and night club. If you're here to party late you'll be OK, if you want to sleep, forget it. There's a loud wedding party inside and a loud night club out the window. The rooms are getting tired, for a 5 star hotel, and the magic is fading. There is plenty to like but be very careful when booking to get a quiet room. It's a shame because the staff are trying and the drunken idiots in the corridors are not their fault, but the loud music to 3am outside could be stopped if they wanted as the nightclub belting out the late music of its open back doors next door is owned by the same group as the hotel. The staff say they want to do something about the noise but unfortunately the manement dont. The bar and restaurant staff are excellent. But if you can't sleep, it doesn't make a quality hotel. Edit. I hoped it was just Friday and Saturday but it's 00.45 on the Sunday night and there's music belting out and people screaming in the street. The desk says it could go on to 3am again. Unfortunately, the development of the cathedral quarter in to the temple Bar Belfast has tainted what was a special hotel and what was meant to be a special weekend for us. If you like your sleep be very careful as to where you stay.
Tom S — Google review
What can I say? This place is 5⭐all the way, the rooms are stunning, like something out of a period drama. The service is quality & the food is exceptional. Having the Cloth Ear & Olly's at either side of it is great because you don't have to venture too far for a great night out.
MICHAEL R — Google review
I had a business meeting here, it served as a perfect environment for a meeting with a potential client. It's a sophisticated and elegant environment with enough peace to have a discussion in the great hall or the smaller snug bar to the right. I will come again.
Christopher C — Google review
I truly enjoyed this property. Incredible rooms, best in class bathroom, stylish restaurant in epic old bank space and unmatched location. Only negative is that the gym closes early on weekends. Minor point. It’s a 5 star spot!!
Darren Z — Google review
From service to room design, this hotel is coasting on its reputation. The carpet and furnishings were worn, with water damage and staining. The tea service is on the floor of the dresser, which is unhygienic and very far from a 5 star experience. The coffee was in strain bags and was absolutely awful. Every other hotel we stayed at had a lovely gathering area where you could meet friends and get a cup of tea or coffee. The public spaces here were shabby, dark, and often full of cleaning supplies. The focus of the hotel seems to be weddings, and the attention of the staff was all on those customers. If you're visiting Belfast I would strongly encourage you to book at a different hotel.

The Europa Hotel offers a stylish and elegant experience in downtown with its bright rooms and suites, chic bistro, polished bar, and piano lounge. The hotel is conveniently located near Great Victoria Street Station for easy access to popular attractions like Titanic Belfast and the Botanic Gardens. Guests can enjoy well-appointed rooms with excellent views, including standard rooms, suites, family rooms, and a bridal suite.
We loved our stay at the Europa. All the staff were brilliant, staff in the piano bar were particularly personable and made our experience of afternoon tea even better. Rooms were lovely, beds were very comfortable. My only downside is that the en-suite bathroom was glass walled, so privacy could sometimes be an issue, although it usually wasn’t a problem. Would recommend the Europa to anyone!
Eamonn C — Google review
Sadly the reputation of the hotel far exceeded the experience we had. Unfortunately it also seems like the hotels responses to these reviews are written by an LLM or otherwise automated, generic reviews with no care to improve or reconcile. Looking at other recent reviews, there seems to be a theme of poor service and rooms so I do hope they take this on board. I stayed in a twin room for two nights / three days. The hotel was chosen based on its unique history and superior reputation. The service was poor in two ways, and based on this we tried to spend time outside the hotel: 1. Room cleanliness: On surface level the room was fine, but after turning a few things over it was pretty dirty. The carpet had not been vacuumed and was covered in dirt, a few small pieces of string and tissue. The turndown service was poor. I dont expect the staff to hang clothes, tidy luggage, put personal items away etc etc. I wouldnt not expect staff to clean excessive guest mess of course. But aside from straightening the beds, the toilet / bathroom was untouched, the carpets still dirty. They did resupply the tea / water, but otherwise it was pretty minimal. 2. Service desk response: Upon mentioning the aforementioned issues, the reception desk staff seemed unconcerned and if anything offended that we had mentioned this, as if we were unwelcome and if we didnt like the service received we should leave. Nothing changed. We did not want these issues to dominate our limited time in Belfast, so did not raise the issues more than once, take that as you will, but for a reputable hotel, I would expect that one request is enough. OTHER POINTS: A. Concierge service There is a separate concierge desk. The staff at this desk were always friendly when we approached. From what we found out, they were well experienced in Belfast hospitality, so could likely make good recommendations, although (and perhaps this is me being slightly cynical) I got the impression that recommendations were in part commission based. Particularly the bus tour; there are two main bus tours in Belfast, I believe the "city tours Belfast" is superior to the one they recommend "sightseeing Belfast", although they look identical. B. Meals and breakfast Because of the other issues, we tried to stay out of the hotel. Breakfast was not included in our initial booking, I think its around £15, maybe a little more. There are plenty of places in the city for breakfast or dinner. Coco being a great restaurant. Final remarks: Reviews are obviously written through the eyes of the author, and readers must be careful to read between the lines. This hotel is what you would describe as "alright" or "meh". If you stayed in a hotel like this in a much smaller city or somewhere more remote, then you might be content. But for a hotel with such a reputation, it was quite disappointing to receive such poor service.
Jan M — Google review
My mother and I stayed at the Europa Hotel a couple nights. The location was good - right across the street from a couple famous pubs (very much worth going to!), and not far from the Glide stop. It made a good base to walk around and explore Belfast. The room was quiet considering we were overlooking the Main Street below. The beds were very comfortable. We didn’t eat in the hotel but there are many other food options nearby that were delightful. One night the fire evacuation alarm went off around midnight. A very startling way to be woken up. There was a lot of confusion as to what was going on. Eventually an announcement came on saying to not evacuate the building. Besides that blip, we had a very nice stay.
Emily P — Google review
Had a lovely afternoon tea with my wife. The staff were so lovely to us. The pianist played her a nice song and they gave us a brownie surprise as a birthday treat. It really made her day. I honestly cannot say enough nice things about the staff.
Gerard C — Google review
A busy service but all staff were courteous and friendly. Food was excellent as usual. Great pre theatre menu reasonably priced. Europe is my favourite hotel in Belfast ..there's always a great buzz and happy atmosphere. I will be there with my granddaughter for our panto trip and overnight stay in December !
Avril D — Google review
Absolutely great in every aspect. Food great. Staff very professional and very welcoming. Room fantastic. Location ideal as we were going to show in Grand Opera House. A very enjoyable stay.
Ruth G — Google review
Overall, this is a very nice hotel; however, the room service is a bit of a miss. We found our room with the connecting room's door unlocked, an unflushed toilet, later we found a random latex glove, the sink kept backing up and was not fixed upon request, there was a red stain (blood?) on the duvet. On top of that the bathroom doors do not have a latch or lock and kinda just swing back open as you're on the porcelain throne. So, I hope you're okay with bathroom activities being a group activity. The location itself is great as is the breakfast and bars in the hotel. The staff at the front desk and restaurant were very nice and competent. By no definition is this a luxury hotel but is a relatively nice hotel that will get the job done.
Nick B — Google review
I wanted to give the hotel a chance to respond directly to me, by writing a review via their website, but after 2 weeks with no response, I feel compelled to share it. Four of us were in the Piano Bar on Fri 17th Oct arriving around 5:15pm. Apart from me, everyone wanted a rhubarb spritz. Not wanting the same I asked the young waiter if it was possible to have a limoncello spritz (i didn't see any limoncello on the menu, but thought i'd ask). He responded with a blunt 'no', followed by 'i don't even know what that limon thing is'. My sister asked that he speak to the bar staff as they would know what it was. We were again met with a rude 'no'. I just picked another drink. However, my daughter spotted another more senior looking waiter & asked the same question. He politely said they didn't have limoncello & when asked if he had any chambord, he replied that he didn't but could make a spritz with cassis instead, which i was happy with, so he cancelled the other drink & brought the spritz to me. When it came to pay, the younger waiter returned & set the bill on the table. My sister paid & he turned & walked away, without uttering a word. No 'how was everything' or 'have a nice evening', just nothing. We were so startled by this that my sister hadn't noticed the 'discretionary' charge which had been automatically added to the bill (for 4 drinks), which had not been brought to her attention. Given his demeanour & the fact we were rushing to get the bus, she decided against calling him back. I have been going to the Europa for over 20yrs & this was by far the worst experience & it may well be the last. Someone needs extra training & the word 'hospitality' explained to them i.e. the friendly and generous treatment of guests, visitors, or strangers, involving the act of making people feel welcome and cared for!

The Titanic Hotel Belfast is a unique boutique hotel located within the former headquarters of Harland and Wolff, the construction company that built the infamous Titanic. Situated in Belfast's regenerated Titanic Quarter, it offers airy rooms and suites with elegant design reflecting the legacy of Harland & Wolff's craftsmanship. The hotel also houses a genteel restaurant and cocktail bar, providing an unforgettable experience for city first-timers visiting Northern Ireland.
The best bar in town! Love the themed menu. It is very luxurious in decor and feels super fancy. Providing a before and after photo. To know you’re in the same room where they worked on the designs of the ship is just amazing! Check out the scrolls on the top shelf! Bartenders told me you’re able to actually see them in detail if you’d like. Very cool touch!

We recently booked the Titanic Hotel for a corporate booking, including meeting room facilities and overnight stays. Everything was first class! Special mention to Kirsti from the Events team, her service was exceptional - communication was brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. The wider team at the hotel were equally welcoming & efficient, everything ran smoothly from start to finish! The theming of the hotel and meeting space was fantastic - everyone in our group commented on how impressive and unique it was. I'd highly recommend the Titanic Hotel, its Events Team and wider staff for anyone planning corporate events or stays !!

A wonderful hotel ideally situated to all amenities, providing a sense of calm and relaxation. Beautifully furnished providing luxury and comfort without pretentiousness. Outstanding food and beverage choices. Extremely attentive, friendly and courteous staff who give an air of really enjoying their job and appear relaxed. I love the uniforms, especially in the food and beverage outlets. I will definately recommend your property to friends visiting Belfast. An incredible experience!!

Beautiful hotel, which is basically a museum. Lots of interesting history and had beautiful architecture. Room was clean, sleek and comfortable. Had a window view of, the titanic museum, which was a gorgeous view, it was all lit up at night. The service of the hotel workers was impeccable, friendly and attentive. Only downside was the breakfast, while it was okay but I felt it could be better. But overall, as a solo female traveler I felt safe, comfortable and left feeling satisfied. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone that is interested in the history of the Titanic, Shipping docks and the White Starline. Thank you, Hotel Titanic for this amazing experience.

Visited the hotel following a visit to the Titanic Exhibition. Wow, what a beautiful and grand hotel this is! After entering the reception area head left into the old drawing room where the Titanic was first imagined and the architects designed this Goliath of a ship. This building is full of history. You are able to go in free of charge and see some of the rooms of the rich and famous, where decisions were made; deals were struck and designs agreed upon. A fascinating trip back in time. Have a drink or a snack. We had tea and coffee along with scones and cream and it was delightful and very reasonable also. We were looked after by Sean a member of the hotel team who was extremely helpful and full of information on the hotel, even bringing to us copies of the original ships plans to view.

Absolutely stunning hotel and unbelievable history conveyed to the Titanic. To be able to stay here was an absolute treat. It’s also very conveniently located. The bar has some fantastic cocktails (seriously some of the best I’ve ever had) even if the service is lacking at times. The rooms are great and the Titanic ambiance is definitely felt. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else if I were to stay in Belfast. Stay here, hands down…Skol!

Too dark in the corridors, some staff were fantastic but service overall was only okay. Room was clean. Food in bar was lovely. Make a good cocktail. Food at the wedding was okay, staff took away my wife's plate while she still had her fork in her piece of chicken so that wasn't great!

We called in for coffee and dessert, which was lovely! Reuben deserves special mention - he was just super friendly and helpful. The other members were ok, a bit hard to hear and not super friendly. I did stay overnight on another occasion and found the staff to be superb, less so this time. Reubens a top guy though 👌

Beautiful hotel in heart of Belfast. Everything is in close proximity by foot - no need for car. Staff is very nice and welcoming and we felt very nice and welcomed there. Room was amazing and clean, very quiet with AC and mini fridge., comfy bed, big TV with Netflix and big shower. We also had a breakfast- money well spent. Amazing service, food was amazing. One of the best breakfast we had in a hotel. Highly recommend if staying in Belfast

First time at Ten Square, and from the minute I arrived, customer service was absolutely excellent. Staff are warm, friendly and helpful. Rooms are spotlessly clean, great facilities. Breakfast was fabulous, highly recommend, as well as the restaurant (Jospers). Totally deserve 5 star rating across the board. City centre location, easy walking distance of bars and shops.

I'd like to say thanks to Laura in Reservations for helping me sort out an unfortunate situation with my initial rogue booking via an aggregator website representing as Ten Square. I also really appreciate the lovely chocolates you left in our room for my daughter.  All in all, great communication and support from Laura. Lovely rooms, delicious breakfast, friendly staff, and a very centrally located hotel for your trip to Belfast.

I’ve stayed at Ten Square Hotel many times while on business trips, and in 2024 alone I spent over 30 nights here – it honestly feels like a second home. The rooms are excellent, modern, and always spotless, with one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. The location couldn’t be better – right in the heart of Belfast city centre, making it so easy to walk everywhere I need to go. The staff are amazing, always welcoming and professional – a special mention to Leah who always goes above and beyond to make each stay enjoyable. Without a doubt, this is the best hotel I’ve stayed in, and it’s my first choice whenever I’m in Belfast.

Though a lovely hotel, best to request a floor on upper levels. We were on 1st floor and at 6:00 am a delivery person was unloading kegs of beer for the hotel restaurant just below our room. He had absolutely no regard for the hotel guests sleeping just above his head. Yes, this is city center and one must expect noise at some level but this was ridiculous. The hotel should restrict deliveries to more appropriate times.

If your looking for a really nice, centrally located hotel in Belfast then I would highly recommend stay at the Ten Square Hotel. Well decorated rooms that are clean and tidy. with friendly and helpful staff. Location is perfect as it is in the heart of the city. The bar and restaurant are really great to sit and relax in after a day in the city. You will not be disappointed if you stay here.

One's reception at a hotel in a foreign city sets the tone for that place. Sadly the receptionists at this hotel need proper training. Leona was nice but 2 other women who looked really bored, looked at us and looked away. Leona finished a call and attended to us while these 2 stayed put. Other guests who arrived after us, somehow received warm welcomes. I guess its what you look like that determines the welcome you receive. Do better! Be better! Will not recommend this place to anyone!

Great location. Room faces busy street but had an extra window that could close to block out noise. Kelly was wonderful in checking us in quickly so we could enjoy our time in city. Walking distance from many interesting sites. Staff accommodating, helpful. Bar, restaurant on location . Would recommend

We were looking for a place to eat new our AirBnB and went to Benedict’s initially for lunch and ended up coming back for dinner later in our stay as we quite enjoyed the food as they were large portions at reasonable prices! The interior of the restaurant area is amazing, with lots of woodwork and history that resonates from this experience.

Stayed here for 4 nights with work. Excellent rooms we were in 3rd floor. The breakfast was exceptional and staff were very friendly and efficient. Enjoyed the entertainment. It's a short walk from the city centre and the carpark it uses is about 7 minutes walk. Bottled water and tattoo crisps were in the room daily. Are in the restaurant on a few nights and it was very good also. Would not hesitate to recommend

Had the cauliflower bang bang and the chicken stack. The batter on the cauliflower and the tobacco onions was soggy and gelatinous. Obviously not cooked at the right temperature. Was in a hurry and the place was very busy otherwise both dishes would have been returned. My companion's meal was fine. Service was good and the restaurant is a nice setting.

Bottomless brunch was amazing! Sax player came in half way through. 2 hours of unlimited drinks and so much choice. Hen party of 10 had a great time. Food and drinks were fab, always had drinks

Disappointed!!!! I’d like to make a complaint about what happened at the bar entrance. I’m a regular customer, and I was not allowed inside because the staff said I was drunk, but that was not true. I had only two drinks and was fully in control of myself. I felt unfairly treated, and the situation was very upsetting and made my night very unhappy. It was not fair and very unprofessional. I’m really upset and disgusted by how I was treated.

We had a fantastic stay at Benedicts. We booked the dinner, bed and breakfast deal and upgraded to an executive suite (book direct with the hotel - not through booking.com). The food was excellent as was the service (from reception to the bar and restaurant) The room was quiet despite being at the front of the building and the bed extremely comfortable. Thanks to all staff members that made our stay perfect. Loved the Halloween decorations throughout too.

Wow!! , booked for one night and ended up staying for 2. Also booked to go again in a few months. This hotel is our favourite that we have stayed at in northern Ireland. Impeccably clean. Comfy beds. Every member of staff were amazing and made our stay so welcoming and comfortable, . Cocktails were top notch, and food was devine. William and Evie had a great knowledge about the hotel, it's history and local area. In our opinion you are a credit to the place and you made us so comfortable and welcome we didn't want to leave. See you all again next time and thank you again for making our stay so perfect.

I enjoyed my stay overall. The staff was so nice especially the young guy with the long hair, forgot his name. The location is great and the bed was really comfortable! I think the bathroom needs a bit of an upgrade. But I would for sure recommend this hotel. Great for eating and drinking as well.

We had a great stay at this hotel on the night of 6 September 2025. Perfect location and lovely rooms. A special mention for Leah who both checked us in and out. Such a lovely girl and a wonderful ambassador for the brand. See you next time we're in this amazing city!

I've stayed here both on business and on a group trip over recent months and it's been great both times. The location is fantastic in the heart of the city and it has a lively little courtyard and bar area if you don't feel like venturing out further. The breakfast offering is good and they do brilliant coffee!

Beware.. they claim king size double whatever that is. They do NOT have king size beds. If you book a comfy room, make sure you get it. Otherwise, great staff and location.

The Fitzwilliam Hotel Belfast offers contemporary and chic accommodations in the heart of Belfast. Housed in a converted linen warehouse, this five-star luxury hotel seamlessly blends historic charm with modern touches. The rooms feature stylish decor, including exposed brick walls in the restaurant and modern prints on the bedroom walls. Guests can enjoy amenities such as free Wi-Fi, air-conditioning, iPod docks, and self-catering facilities.
I recently had a complimentary stay at this establishment to compensate for a previous stay which was less than desirable. I held off reviewing the hotel until I had given the chance at redemption and I'm glad I did. There were a multitude of problems during the initial stay but the complimentary stay has definitely won me over. The service was fantastic, friendly staff and an absolutely phenomenal suite with stunning views of the city centre and an extremely comfortable bed so we had a brilliant sleep. Breakfast was delicious and there were plenty of options to suit all tastes including a vegan section. I would absolutely return and would like to thank the staff for providing a 10/10 stay.

Very good hotel close to the city center and other services. The hotel is located close to the city center, offering many restaurants and service. Our room was big enough for 2 people, with a very comfortable bed. Bathroom was spacious as well and clean. The hotel has a valet parking available, but you need to reserve it in advance due to the limited space. However the HOTEL is very close to a large parking area newly built, so you can put your car there as well. The hotel offers a good breakfast served inside their restaurant with a large buffet and a menu. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay

Staff extremely welcoming and helpful. Rooms clean, comfortable and with lots of space. Book the breakfast at the hotel especially for the Sunday first of all it’s delicious and second it’s extremely had to find something open on the Sunday morning in the city center. Thank you for a great stay in Belfast.

Gorgeous hotel, felt like pure luxury staying there. The rooms are very spacious and there are so many special touches like robes, a candle by the bath, lots of tea and coffee options, bathrooms and turndown service. The cocktails in the bar were also fantastic and the breakfast was delicious with plenty of options.

A truly exceptional hotel! The Fitzwilliam Hotel Belfast offers outstanding comfort, elegant décor, and impeccable service. The staff go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. Rooms are spotless, spacious, and luxuriously furnished. The location is perfect — close to everything in the city. Definitely one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in Belfast. Worth every star!

This review isn’t for the Fitzwilliam — it’s for Gavin, the concierge extraordinaire. From the moment we arrived, Gavin was an absolute legend. Friendly, funny, and genuinely helpful, he handled everything we threw at him — from odd requests to special ones — with ease and a smile. By the end of our stay, he wasn’t just the concierge… he was part of the special day, and could even say the bridal party. Gavin went above and beyond in every way imaginable, making sure everything ran smoothly, everyone was looked after, and the whole experience was full of good craic. He’s the kind of person who turns a great hotel into an unforgettable one. The Fitzwilliam should be incredibly proud to have him — he’s the face of the hotel, the first smile you meet, and the lasting impression you leave with. Absolute credit to the place.

For our 3 night stay at the Fitzwilliam Hotel we couldnt have had a better experience due to luxury rooms, quality service in all facets & close proximity to many attractions such as 1) Grand Central - 2 blocks 2) Opera House - next door 3) Ulster Hall - 3 or 4 blocks 4) Crown Bar - 2 blocks 5) Black Taxi - short drive & many more. The staff at the Fitzwilliam is top notch & the prices were quite fair. Next time in Belfast we absolutely will stay here again!

This was our second time staying here and honestly, it's the best hotel in Belfast City Centre. Less than 10 minutes walk to popular restaurants and cathedral quarter make it a central location. The staff were first class and couldn't help you more. Room was fantastic! I cannot wait to come back, hopefully close to Christmas! Thank you Fitzwilliam!

Great hotel, superb bar staff and lovely comfortable rooms. I've knocked a star off because I was in 102 and had some interconnected door to 101 but they had the TV on at half midnight and the door isn't very soundproofed. But great location for the city centre, Titanic museum is about 40 minutes walk away.

The staff were exceptionally accommodating, consistently delivering service of the highest standard, and their warm and attentive approach truly made our visit memorable. I stayed for one night - the room was really very nice - spacious and well appointed. The hotel was located very near the centre of the city with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. My two nitpicks are that it wasn’t clear on booking that parking was an additional charge and I regret paying for the breakfast as it was fine but not worth the money. I’d have been better to spend my money elsewhere and get breakfast out of the hotel.

Hotel was located where I needed it to be next to Laganside bus center. It’s a beautiful old exterior that just needs a good power wash to bring it back to its grandeur. Interior is trying to be hipster…… not in a good way. But room was clean and well stocked.

We booked a suite for three nights at Malmaison Belfast and, unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the worst hotel stays I’ve experienced. For the standard, price, and the issues that unfolded, the experience was extremely disappointing. The positives: - The suite included the expected pool table. - The food served in the restaurant was enjoyable. The negatives: - I always bring slippers when travelling, luckily so, as none were provided (in a suite?!), and my husband’s feet turned black from walking on the dirty floor. This means the hard floor had not been cleaned between guests. - One night coincided with Culture Night. Staff claimed they were unaware it would be noisy, despite it being an annual event. From 5pm, the noise was horrendous, and music continued past 11:30pm, making it impossible to relax. - From 19:30–22:40 on a Saturday night, I tried repeatedly to contact reception and room service to complain and order food. No one answered the phone in any department. - The furniture was terribly chipped and covered in cobwebs. - All of the skylight blackout blinds were electronic, but two were broken, so light streamed into the room during the early hours. - We had noticed before checking out that the fridge was plugged out, resulting in a couple of spoiled items. This was also the case in the other suite we stayed in - this cannot be a coincidence... - The WC floor hadn’t been properly cleaned, the sink was dirty, and it seemed the hand towel hadn’t been replaced. - Most disappointingly, despite asking several times during our three-night stay, our room was neither cleaned nor turned down. Each request was acknowledged but ignored, leaving us without fresh towels, clean bedding, or replenished water, tea, and milk. Most concerning of all, there was a very serious breach of security during our stay. While some compensation was offered, it did not feel proportionate given the severity of the incident combined with all the other problems. Overall, the stay fell far below expectations, especially for a suite. I would never return and cannot recommend Malmaison Belfast.

Tara Lodge is a charming boutique hotel nestled in the southern district of the city, just off Botanic Avenue. The hotel offers various weekend packages, including themed tours and experiences. Situated in a residential neighborhood, it provides free parking and breakfast, along with complimentary Wi-Fi. The non-smoking guest rooms are well-equipped and immaculate.
The hotel is very well located, just 5 minutes from the nearest hop-on hop-off bus station. There are numerous restaurants nearby. Finding a parking space nearby is a bit of a hit and miss. Although the hotel is on a side street, it was still quite noisy all night long due to people shouting in the street. A huge compliment goes to the super friendly, attentive, and helpful staff. They made our stay a memorable experience. We'd especially like to mention the excellent breakfast; the salmon with scrambled eggs was simply fantastic! If there's anything to criticize, it's the lack of water pressure in our shower.
Stefan Z — Google review
Breakfast is good and rooms are relatively clean. Apart from that, hotel is closer to a 1 star than a 3. There is no air conditioning, the hotel looks like it was last updated in the 1980s, it reeks of humidity and has a shower that you wouldn’t want to be in for longer than a few minutes. There are only about 10 parking spots at the property and after that you are left to find street parking. Not worth the money to stay here, would look elsewhere.

Had a fantastic stay at Tara Lodge and couldn’t recommend it more! The staff was exceptionally friendly and thoughtful - they made us feel welcome. The rooms were spacious, pristine, and very comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with both a small buffet and cooked-to-order options that were a real treat. Parking was also convenient, with spots available in the backyard.

Tara Lodge was one of our favourite accommodations during our trip to Ireland. We were in the annex, which doesn't have a view (but they make that clear on their website). The room was larger than we had anticipated, and the bed was excellent. Their pillows were amazing - the best of our whole trip. In the morning, breakfast was lovely. The staff even noticed my wife wasnt with me and offered to prepare something hot for me to take up to the room for her. Amazing service and staff that goes the extra mile. Thanks very much!

Could not recommend this more. Very kind and friendly staff, the breakfast could be ordered (complementary) with large selection. The serving staff was very welcoming giving luxury hotel vibe. Great start to the day from the morning buffet. Noted that no aircon (heaters only), however learnt it’s expected in this part of the world and we did not require any aircon. The opened windows provided ample of cold wind. Great experience, highly recommend.

Myself and my boyfriend stayed here recently for a night and loved it! The room was very comfortable, blackout curtains and tea/coffee refreshments made the evening perfect. Our only query was that the TV showed streaming apps ready to use, yet none of them worked. Other than that, our stay was a 10/10

We spend the weekend at the Culloden. The beautiful energy starts when you enter, the garden is beautiful, looked after with great care, and lovely statues that make a difference. The Hotel itself it's stunning, piano during lunch, before dinner... we have dinner at the Vespers restaurant, lovely, good food, staff attentive and kind. After dinner if you book a table at the bar, is a nice vibe to enjoy a good live music. We went to the gym and I can say it's a really really nice gym, well equipped, the pool , sauna and all the staff around there are kind. I truly recommend the experience there.
Fernanda C — Google review
Culloden Estate is beautiful estate that obviously has some magnificent and talented grounds keepers! The gardens are magnificent. The exterior of the building is breath taking and that is certainly emulated inside, with stain glass windows, marble floors, plush carpets and and beautiful architecture. The rooms are huge and there's plenty of space to relax. The location is just north of the Belfast City and very easy to get to. Service at the hotel is great at the front desk, but lacks a little with the service staff. A couple of them are doing a great job, but there's a few letting the team down with a slow meandering pace with no follow up on drinks. Clearly they need a coach's talk from the manager. Otherwise this is definitely a recommend stay!

Beautiful grounds, close walk to the lake. Very nice room. I never received help with the in room fireplace even after asking multiple times. Service in the bar was poor. Great breakfast and nice servers but they never checked on you & you had to chase them down to order. The bar’s beef sandwich was embarrassing, but salads good. The restaurant down the hill was fun & amazing when sitting in the pub. Joel location too far away from towns.

View great, front of house staff especially doorman super. Room and maintenance of a delux river view suite really let the rest of your team and experience down. 1 st room bathroom was poor in a number of ways : slight smell of sewage, shower extremely hot and temperature could not be reduced and toilet bowl had build up of black residue just under the rim. Took 3 calls with the team and nearly 24 hours to rectify and get a new and upgraded room that is lovely. Hope you fix that prev room before other people stay there.

My wife and I adore the Culloden. We have made it our go to destination for celebrations (most recently our second wedding anniversary) and weekend getaways. We have an amazing time every time we stay and cannot recommend it highly enough. Our last stay we made use of the "B&B" package which was a huge value. Vespers was an absolute delight and matches a number of the Michelin starred restaurants we have dined at. One stand out member of staff, Isabella, at the front desk made sure every aspect of our stay was top notch. We will absolutely be back soon, and recommend anyone and every one do so also.
William M — Google review
Enjoyed 2 nights in one of the suites. It was a lovely time! Really enjoyed Vespers, The Lounge Bar, and the Cultra Inn! All the food and drinks were lovely, nice atmosphere, and the suite was amazing! Also booked for the Spa with a massage before arriving. This process though felt a bit disjointed and felt it could've been booked along with the room, perhaps at a discounted rate for being a hotel guest etc. While we enjoyed the spa and the massage, it did seem a bit expensive for what it was and only an offer of water in the relaxation room post massage. It could've been more meaningful service at that price, with more than water offered at the end; but all in all, a lovely weekend was had.
Steven H — Google review
Our experience dining in the Lough Bar was disappointing. Attendance in the whole hotel low. There were no weddings or functions on, and the kitchen had run out of steak. So we had to settle for a meal we had not expected. Service was non existent. We had to go looking for staff every time we wanted a drink or to order a course. We actually cleared empty glasses from our table because we’d run out of space and no member of staff seemed to be looking after customers dining in our area. We used to love coming here but don’t think we will return.

I wanted to post this review, not just because the views and coffees were perfect, but because the customer service we received from each member of staff was ‘perfect’. Their waiters and waitresses couldn’t have done enough for us. Once again, Hastings Hotels lead the way in local customer service and hospitality, Thank you for a lovely afternoon, we look forward to returning very soon.

This is our 6th hotel on the island in 14 days. It is a very nice high rise hotel in downtown Belfast. The staff is wonderful and very helpful. If you are driving, as we were, it is a challenge to find and even more of a challenge to find parking (valet is £30 per day). The rooms are very nice but small. Many have very limited views of the city. The 23rd floor bar has wonderful views of the city. Breakfast buffet was very good, but a little slow at times. Overall, very nice but hard to get to, hard to park, and small rooms.

**5⭐ Prices for a 3⭐ Hotel** Stayed here for our 5-year wedding anniversary and left very disappointed. Check-in was chaotic, with long queues and no queue management. Our “Sky View” room faced an office block, room was dusty, and the towels had stains. No fridge or minibar in the room and we were told it costs £5 for a bucket of ice. Air conditioning barely worked, and no fans were available. The Nespresso machine was dirty with droplets & stains, the bathroom lacked glasses for toothbrushes, no amenity kits, shower caps, toiletries were in large refill bottles. (Although it is Espa branded but they looked tacky). Breakfast was poor — a thick black hair was found on my breakfast. Staff apologised, removed the charge, and offered a complimentary à la carte breakfast the next morning. No doorman during our entire stay, no umbrellas when it rained, and a homeless man wandered through the lobby unchallenged. Overall, not worth 5-star prices and we won’t be returning. Very questionable 5-star status from Tourism NI. *If you’re looking for a genuine 5-star hotel, look elsewhere — The Fitzwilliam Hotel nearby is in a different league.

Bit disappointing for the price we paid for sky view room, the room was good & very clean, the provision of coffee & tea was poor, no availability of biscuits crisp etc. Room service is accessible via w QR code, then menu is totally out of date. Only 2 things on menu available. Room service charge of £10 per order seems steep to me, means the £10 chicken mayo sandwich costs £20. Poor service in cocktail bar, the staff member could hardly speak English, which made things tricky to order & when we said the Olives we purchased were inedible they simply didn’t understand. On a positive the breakfast in the morning was first class, all cooked fresh and very enjoyable. No horrible self service buffet nonsense which I was delighted about.

Arrived to Belfast full of excitement and enthusiasm for our third anniversary night away only to leave the Grand Hotel deflated & judged. Location of the hotel for our stay was very central which was ideal as we were very disappointed to be refused seating at their restaurant for breakfast after paying a 5 star rating price for a deluxe double room on the 21st floor. We were refused breakfast as my husband was wearing can you believe a ‘jersey’. The staff on shift were very unprofessional and made us feel uncomfortable that we hadn’t booked booked breakfast with our stay, insulted us by telling us the price of their breakfast as if we couldn’t afford it and proceeded to pretend to look for a table when really she approached the restaurant manager to tell us we wouldn’t be served due to my husband’s jersey. Can I also include that we observed other guests in ‘flip flops and shorts’. Make that make sense. Disappointed we had to leave the hotel and get breakfast elsewhere when we would have preferred to eat in the comfort of the hotel and enjoy the last hour of our room before check out. At no point of our check in experience we were notified of any dress code especially for breakfast. There are no signs to say otherwise either. It’s hard to believe that in 2025 we are still engaging in this discriminating behaviour. Happy to take our money but only for the right calibre of person.

Went here recently for afternoon tea for my birthday. Firstly, we were greeted by a member of staff that was smacking gum in their mouth. We were then directed to our table where we ordered coffee/tea. The service was pretty horrendous. Not only did it take 30 minutes for a couple of sandwiches to arrive, but it took a further 30-45 minutes for the desserts to arrive afterwards. We had also ordered water to the table, along with some more coffee and tea...it took 20 minutes for three glasses of water to arrive, but not only that, we had asked for water for three times. On top of that, when tea had arrived with the water, it was the completely wrong tea. The only good experience with a member of staff that we had was one of the ladies in the observatory, unfortunately I do not know her name but she was very good with us, asked if she could pour our tea and always asked if we were okay. Oh, and the concierge in the foyer was also very good with us. I raised the rating to 3 stars because these two members of staff made the experience a hell of a lot more enjoyable. We were passed around a lot of members of staff and each of them seemed to not know if we'd ordered tea or water. The man who did mainly serve us, was too busy holding other peoples babies and coming over to interrupt us about 'this is our newest member of staff!' I didn't appreciate this at all. This is not the '5 star hotel' experience that we were expecting. It was extremely poor. The merchant was 10x better than this experience, where staff was attentive, didn't smack gum, and didn't interrupt your conversation for pointless discussion. The staff at the Merchant seemed to understand that we'd paid a good amount of money to have afternoon tea...a good majority of the staff at the Grand central did not. The merchant was much much busier than the Grand central was, yet the staff at the merchant was there as soon as your tea needed refilled (they always made time for you), the grand central was like a damn ghost town, yet gave the lame excuse that the bar was really understaffed and a lot of people were asking for cocktails...sorry but where were these people that were asking for cocktails? Also, it was 3 waters, we didn't order alcohol once.

I recently stayed at the Grand Central Hotel in Belfast and had a fantastic experience. The location is perfect. Right in the city centre and close to major attractions. My room was modern, spotless, and offered stunning city views. The staff were friendly and professional throughout my stay. Breakfast at the Seahorse Restaurant was excellent, and the Observatory bar is a must-visit for its panoramic views and cocktails. Overall, a stylish, comfortable hotel that delivers on luxury and convenience. Highly recommended

Holiday Inn Belfast City Centre, an IHG Hotel, is a four-star non-smoking hotel conveniently located near Great Victoria Street Train Station. It's within walking distance of Ulster Hall and the Grand Opera House. The hotel offers free Wi-Fi, a restaurant and bar, as well as amenities like a fitness center and Starbucks coffee bar. Guests can enjoy spacious rooms and a hot breakfast buffet included in their stay. Additionally, kids stay and eat for free at this family-friendly hotel.
I stayed at the Holiday Inn Belfast after spending a night at the AC Marriott by the river. Before that, I’d been at Room2—which was amazing but fully booked, so I had to move on. I wanted to be closer to the city after my disappointing stay at the AC Marriott (seriously underwhelming for the price, and the rude night employee (older man with an English accent) didn’t help), so I booked the Holiday Inn for one final night in Belfast before heading to Derry. I’m so glad I did! This hotel completely exceeded my expectations. The staff were genuinely warm and friendly—actually making eye contact and welcoming you in a way that feels real. I had a great vegan burger at the bar, the rooms were spotless and very comfortable, and the location is perfect, right next to Grand Central Station. I’d absolutely stay here again on my next trip to Belfast. A fantastic experience and great value.

Decent location. Approx 10-15 walk to city hall where you can pick up a hop on hop off tour bus, which is a great way to see the sights and get ideas where to go. 10 mins walk to bus / train station. 5 min walk to the famous crown saloon bar. Friendly staff, lovely breakfast with loads of choice. Rooms clean and comfortable bed. The only downside was that the shower trap was blocked with hair causing a flood, but reported to reception and other was dealt with efficiently.

Very easy to get to from the Central Train Station👍🏼 We got there quite late at around 1:30am, so we were quite exhausted from travelling therefore it was very nice that checking in was very quick and easy, we did let them know ahead of time that we will be arriving that late (I would recommend doing that as well). The staff at reception was very nice. The room was very nice and roomy I particularly liked the pillows they 2 different sides one softer and one firmer. They also had a service to ask for your preferred pillow which included hypoallergenic pillows. I would have liked there to be a smart tv in the room instead of a standard one since it's nice to be able to Chrome cast etc. We only stayed one night but I can definitely recommend it! Would definitely stay there again👍🏼

Love this hotel. Check in was friendly and nice and I got a late checkout when we left because I’d joined Ihg rewards a few years back. The room was smart, clean. Amazing shower. Comfortable bed with white cotton linen. The cleaning staff are the best. Tea/coffee in the room. We were very happy The location is great. It’s on the end of historic Sandy Row. Right by the grand central station trains and buses. Close to The Crown Pub which is very famous. Easy walking distance to the centre full of shops and great places to eat. Tip if you’re coming from the station look for a place called Halt. It’s got a bright yellow entrance. If you walk in and go straight to the other end you come out at the hotel. (Plus it’s a fab place to eat.) The holiday inn breakfast is the best. Every item is well made and thoughtful. Items vary from day to day. We loved Anna who was a waitress there. So kind and friendly. Nice vegetarian section too. All together a lovely stay. We felt at home there. We’d definitely stay again.

We had a lovely stay. It takes a lot for me to write a review. The rooms are nice, but what set this stay apart was the exceptional service! We had a minor problem with our parking validation, and Francine graciously handled it promptly and with ease. Also when we went to turn in at night, the sheets were obviously clean but the duvet had a stain on it that was was just weird enough to irk us. No biggie; it happens. Within minutes, Jonny had a full set of fresh sheets on the bed. My spouse and I were absolutely shocked as hell to wake up to a personalized and signed note from him slid under the door offering a second apology. It was unexpected, and unnecessary, but a sweet and personal touch that we are grateful for and will remember. American hotels: take notes. (In the U.S. it is considered kind to use employee first names in positive reviews. If that is untrue for Northern Ireland, please respond and I’ll gladly edit.)

Lovely staff, especially the front desk staff as they are very kind and friendly. Answered every question we had and were always willing to help! A Holiday Inn is a Holiday Inn so you know what you're getting when you stay here but the price was fair, location was good and the agreement with the parking garage across the street for those travelling by car was handy.

First, a crucial note if you are pre-paying for a room using the official IHG website. It is standard procedure when you pre-pay for a room to provide a credit card number with the expectation that the full amount of the stay will be billed to the card. IHG hotels in Europe WILL NOT charge that credit card. I learned this the hard way when I booked a Holiday Inn in France. I provided my credit card number for a pre-payment rate, but received an email notification from the hotel a week prior to my stay saying my reservation had been cancelled due to my not sending the full pre-payment in advance. For this Holiday Inn in Belfast (booked in September for a late October stay) I selected a pre-paid room rate and provided my credit card number for the payment. Come October, my credit card had not been billed. Fearing another cancelled reservation, I emailed the hotel and asked why the pre-payment for the room had not been billed. Robyn wrote back to state, "You will have given you card details when you made the booking however, this is to hold the reservation at the price. We send out a secure payment link using the global payment platform, Prommt." Yes, that link had the correct amount due for the pre-payment, but I was wary. I didn't understand why the hotel couldn't just bill my credit card, and I felt the link might be a scam or phishing scheme. I went so far as to contact IHG customer service, and they stated some hotels in Europe use third party payment systems. Reassured by that message, I sent the full pre-payment via the link Robyn provided, and had no problems whatsoever with the bill. All that aside, these are the pros and cons of the hotel: 1. Jeannette at the front desk was very cordial and kind during our interaction and allowed me to check into my room earlier than the standard 3pm check-in. It was a cold, rainy day, and all I wanted after a flight from the United States to Dublin and a bus ride to Belfast, was to sleep. So, I thank her for the Irish hospitality! 2. All staff with whom I interacted proved to be friendly. 3. The breakfast had ample offerings. As a vegetarian, I was content with the: dried apricots, cranberries, walnuts, and mixed berry blend. 4. The hotel is a short five minute walk from Belfast Grand Central Station. The negative 1. I stayed in three hotels during my stay in Ireland. This was the coldest. The temperature maxed out at 24 degrees Celsius (75 degrees Fahrenheit). If that sounds adequately warm, trust me, it wasn't. There is no way the room was anywhere near 75 degrees. I had to wear: compression pants, jeans, a long sleeve shirt, and a jacket to stay warm. There are three horizontal vents for the main room (none in the bathroom); I could reach up and feel an anemic amount of warmth emerging from the vents, but the heat was not emerging forcefully enough to warm the room. The temperature at the Hampton Inn in Dublin maxed out at 28 degrees Celsius. At the Holiday Inn Express in Dublin, I could turn the temperature to 32 degrees Celsius. The Belfast Holiday Inn City Centre needs to increase the maximum adjustable temperature for the rooms so that more guests have the option of staying comfortable in adequate warmth should they desire it.

I enjoyed my stay here. The rooms were spacious and well cared for, the staff were attentive and proactive and the location worked well for my travel purpose. It is a very just hotel and mealtimes could become hectic with lots of coach trips arriving or departing at the same time which can impact the atmosphere and speed of service. Service was good throughout thanks to Callum for his support in the restaurant.

I loved the staff here. They were incredible. Thomas and Ronan making amazing coffees for breakfast in the morning, I would definitely go back. My only negative was that I stayed on Saturday night and it was so loud I got very bad sleep. I don't know how to fix that other than if the first floor windows (ex room 149) be sound-proofed. The staff front of house were amazing and said in future they would definitely move my room or offer ear plugs. Otherwise just amazing, and food was delicious 😋 plus you can get poached eggs.

A very long overdue review!! Myself and a large group of girls had the pleasure of staying at the Ramada hotel for 3 nights for my hen in Belfast back in July-August 2025. What an amazing time we had. From the moment we arrived, Marc, the general manager, greeted us, introduced himself and looked after us for the entire stay. Marc you were INCREDIBLE. As a loud and excitable group of geordies, we were never told to keep it down, but instead Marc reassured us each day that there were no complaints and we were a pleasure to have (the walls must be thick). All of the staff made our stay so enjoyable. Anything we needed was brought to us almost instantly. Marc checked in with us whenever we saw him and was like our own personal hype man 👏🏽 and hopefully he enjoyed all the debriefs of our crazy antics each day (we know you didn’t ask to hear them 🤣). Between the whole group there were a number of meals consumed throughout our stay and all the food was great. The rooms were clean and the staff were just fab. Not to mention the location was PERFECT. All 20 odd of us girls would absolutely stay here again on our next trip to Belfast. Big shout out again Marc, you’re the BEST!! Thank you Ramada ❤️

Came to Belfast from England for the weekend with my partner, we absolutely loved our stay here, staff let us check in early, extremely friendly and helpful. We had breakfast too which is definitely worth the money and a good spread of food available, aswell as a pizza at lunch which was phenomenal. Rooms are perfect, good enough size for 2 people, very comfy bed and sofa and a good shower Definitely would recommend this place to people

I am a tour guide and had a group in with them this month. I can't fault them whatsoever! The staff are so friendly and really go that extra mile for guests. Dinner for my group was buffet style we felt the first day was bland and mentioned it to them and the following 2 days we were there the food was fantastic. The rooms were very clean and spacious. As a guide sometimes I need things printed and they printed stuff for me, gave me some pens etc they were honestly so helpful and lovely.

Check-in was a tad slow but friendly and efficient. Rooms are excellent, clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. Evening meal options are varied and won't disappoint, they're served until 9pm with the exception of the pizza menu which is available until 11pm. All public areas are very clean. This was my first visit to this hotel and I would highly recommend it be it for business or pleasure.

The Ibis Belfast City Centre is located within walking distance of the Cathedral Quarter and the City Center, as well as a number of tourist attractions. Rooms are modern and comfortable, with free Wi-Fi access and a cafe on site. The hotel offers dependable Ibis service and amenities, including baggage storage.
We enjoyed our short stay. The checkin was seamless and our room was comfortable and modern. We did wish we’d had a city view Instead of the flats but we weren’t in the room much during the daytime. Features we appreciated were the friendly staff, excellent buffet breakfast and great blackout curtains! The location was an easy walk to restaurants, sightseeing and shops. Parking across the street was convenient and on a super easy exit from the city.

Basic but good hotel. No ironing board and staff are not aware of the price for dry cleaning. Laundry is 20 pounds for a (all-you-can-fit-in) bag, which seems reasonable. Breakfast was great. A lot of good pubs nearby (and therefore some noise is unavoidable before 9pm).

Great location, just 5-7 min walk to City Hall and the Glider stop and less than 5 min to Castle Court Shopping Center. Restaurant/Bar was good with great food choices. The pizza was excellent. Room was okay, industrial chic and a decent size. Bathroom was small but with a strong shower. Having the window right next to the illuminated ibis sign was pretty annoying. The housekeeping was lacking. I reported an issue with the AC. Although reception promised to send someone it wasn't fixed and nobody got back to me. Also one day the bed was made but neither the empty toilet roll nor the dirty tea mug were replaced. The next day a fresh toilet roll was provided but the empty one was left on the floor in the bedroom. The dirty mug was replaced with a wet one with residual water in it.

Talk about service. Fisnik and Andrew and Sawitree took care of us and made sure our ten year anniversary was special. We were greeted with cheers and special treats at the door, then our room was even specially arranged for us, and then they made amazing recommendations and tour bookings that made our visit more than memorable. I cannot recommend this place enough. I hope they're compensated well, because out of all the 3-5 star hotels I've been to across the world, this crew is the only one I've felt inclined to leave a review for.

Titanic Belfast is an extraordinary museum that stands proudly on the grounds of the historic Harland and Wolff shipyard, where the Titanic was born. This self-guided experience features nine interactive galleries that take visitors on a captivating journey through Belfast's rich maritime history. From its origins as an 18th-century trading hub to becoming a powerhouse in industries like linen and shipbuilding, the museum intricately weaves together stories of innovation and tragedy.
An amazing experience. Easy to get tickets at venue at no more than any online offers. Cafe served nice coffees and snacks whilst the seafood chowder and lambs stew for lunch in the restaurant were excellent. There were a couple of bottlenecks early in the story due to the coach parties but we skipped past this and soon found ourselves immersed for nearly 3 hours in a spectacularly well done experience.

Incredible, moving, informative and historical. What a wonderful exhibit and history lesson of the most infamous cruise ship in history, Titanic. From arrival you are met by the beautiful metal star shaped building rising into the air, like the bow of the ship. On entering the building you are met by the Titanic staff members like Stella, whom we met during the tour and her enthusiasm and information she provided us with was extremely helpful both here and at the Titanic Hotel, reviewed separately. I had been on the tour last shortly after the museum had opened some years back, but the additions since are both breathtaking and heartbreaking. Go and see this magnificent exhibition, it is a must when visiting the great city of Belfast.
Anthony S — Google review
One of the most amazing museums I've ever visited! The whole thing is very techy and has tons of informative videos, a rotating display of the titanic, and even an entire ride that gives you what is essentially a tour of the titanic being built. There are also numerous artifacts from the titanic, including mail bound for New York, a deck chair, kitchenware, and even one of the original violins famously played as the ship sank. One of my favorite exhibits is a recording of the distress call the titanic sent out in morse code the night it sunk. Admission to the museum also grants you admission to the SS Nomadic, the only remaining White Star Line Vessel which served as a tender to bring passengers to and from the titanic in Cherbourg, since the port was too small to accommodate the Titanic. There is a café and a gift shop on the ground floor of the museum.
Noah D — Google review
What an incredible museum! From the early history of Belfast’s industry that attracted the shipyards, to the manufacturing, sailing, demise, and discovery of the Titanic, all aspects were covered. It was amazing. There was also a really interesting gondola ride in the museum (about 5 minutes long) that glides you through what it was like for the ships builders pounding the rivets by hand. I highly recommend the ride. There’s also a bypass if you opt-out. I highly recommend coming to check out Titanic Belfast if you have any interest in the Titanic. Recommend buying tickets online in advance if possible, for your preferred timed entry. Getting to the museum via the Glider (G2) was very easy.

Visited Titanic Belfast with my family and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! The facilities inside are top class — clean, modern, and very well organised. The exhibitions are beautifully presented, full of fascinating facts and stories about the Titanic, making it both educational and fun for all ages. We really enjoyed exploring the interactive displays and learning so much about the ship’s history and construction — it’s clear how much thought has gone into every detail. There’s plenty of parking available right under the building, and it’s very affordable. I’d definitely recommend booking your tickets online to save a bit of money and skip any queues. Overall, one of the best attractions in Belfast — a must-see for families, history lovers, and anyone visiting the city! 🚢👏

Recently visited Titanic Belfast exhibition while holidaying from Australia as I'm fascinated by the history. Specifically visited Belfast to see this exhibition and it did not disappoint. I booked a White Star Premium Pass tour prior to walking through the exhibition. Lasted 90 minutes and is an outside walking tour. I think Peter was our guide and he was fantastic. So knowledgeable and history of the area shared that I wouldn't have got just from walking through the exhibition. It was busy - went on the weekend and got busier the later in the day that it got. If busyness bothers you, go earlier in the day as it was quite empty. Definitely worth the money. It's an exhibition that's well done.

Such a fun thing to do while in Ireland. The museum is very large with lots to look at and read. I love how there is a small ride in the museum that explains the conditions of the workers on the ship. This experience definitely exceeded my expectations. SS Nomadic is a must-see for maritime history enthusiasts and anyone intrigued by the shipping industry. This storied ship, the last of its kind from the White Star Line, has been meticulously restored to its former grandeur and is now part of a maritime museum in its original docks. As Titanic's original tender, SS Nomadic offers visitors a glimpse into the luxurious cruising life with similar design and opulent finishes.
Entry is included with the Titanic Museum ticket. It should be noted that the last entry for the SS Nomadic closes earlier than the museum, so if you are visiting during the afternoon, make sure you check the times. I had to run and only just made it. If you do miss it, the ticket is valid for a year for one entry, so you can come back another day. I found the ship visit to be very interesting. Everything was nicely laid out, and the information boards were informative. Staff were polite and happy to chat. There was some work occurring, so some parts were closed, but this did not detract from the experience. You have to go across a cobbled area to access the ship. There is wheelchair accessibility to most areas. The Crew Space and Flying Bridge Deck can only be accessed by steps.

With your Titanic museum entry ticket, you can enter this boat. Very old, well maintained remaining ship from the White Star Line, Nomadic is here still intact. Highly recommended to come visit here as its very impressive and has a lot of history!

So glad we went! Last surviving White Star Line vessel in existence. Free entry here when you go to the Titanic museum and honestly was not expecting much when they told us but wow, they don't make tinder boats like this. Powder room, bar, segregated stairwells by class, even the details in the woods and flooring change drastically by class. Very cool to see.

Great to see this tender. You can walk through it and up onto the deck. Lots of interesting history here, and you never hear about these lost icons. Recommend a visit if going to the Titanic exhibition.
W Q — Google review
The last White Star Line ship in existence. It served as a tender for the RMS Titanic. Admission to this is included in museum tickets, and it's definitely work walking over here to check out. You can go on all three levels and the upper decks and there are more exhibits in here.
Noah D — Google review
Honestly, I did not know that The White Star company still had one remaining ship. The story behind this ship was gallant, but then sad as it lost its uses. It received a reprieve from the scrapyard three times, and has mostly been restored, and continued to be renovated.
Sher P — Google review
A piece of Belfast history in process of being restored. It is an amazing to step onboard and step back through time and see the many roles the vessel has played in it's lifetime. The staff are some of the best, and the opportunity to explore is brilliant!
Sam H — Google review
This is the last white star ship left and was used to get people out to the ships from the harbour. It's a nice viewing and takes about 20 minutes. This is included if you go to Titanic Belfast. Shows your how the student classes lived and the staff on the ship.

Belfast Castle, located within Cave Hill Country Park, offers a fairytale-like setting with its impressive Scottish Baronial style architecture and conical roof towers. While the interior is reserved for events, visitors can still enjoy the adventure playground, antiques shop, restaurant, and visitor center. The castle's courtyard features a refreshing fountain and beautiful gardens that provide tranquility and stunning views of the city. Set on the slopes of Cave Hill Country Park, it offers breathtaking panoramic views of Belfast.
Had a lovely walk round the Castle with the family . It was a bonus saying it was a nice day. So we got to take in the views and sit out and enjoy food in the sun. The man serving at the coffee shop was very friendly and carried out Ms coffee for her. Spoke to the kids and made the experience nice. We had fun looking for all the 9 cats in the garden and got some nice photos. Definitely worth a little look round if near by .

I wish I could post pictures of the inside, but it was not open today on my visit. Also, its not much of a castle as most would think of them, its really just a large house on a hill. We were both pretty disappointed in it and didnt spend much time here. The gardens are beautiful, though.

Belfast Castle is a beautiful historic site with breathtaking views over the city and Belfast Lough. 🏰🌿 The castle itself is stunning, with lovely gardens and walking trails all around, making it a perfect place for a peaceful day out. The interior is elegant, and the little café adds a nice touch for a break. It’s well-kept, full of charm, and ideal for photos, relaxing, or just enjoying the scenery. A must-visit when in Belfast! 🌟

Was here today as a coach driver with a group of elderly people. They & I enjoyed the visit very much, been here before, mostly with cruise ships, but today was the first time I had the pleasure to have lunch here, I can only highly recommend the food, absolutely amazing, very tasty, good quality and high quality! Well priced for a decent price! The service was also excellent, very friendly and attentive staff. Again, it’s highly recommended here, definitely deserved the 5 stars!

Such magical place. Enjoy the steep uphill walk to the castle to be rewarded by the lovely view and drinks or food at the cafe.. beautiful gardens with different routes lengths and difficulty.. Plenty of car parks. Could be very busy though on holidays and weekends.

Came to Belfast Castle while I was here in Ireland. Incredible castle and historic. Belfast Castle is a magnificent mansion located on the slopes of Cave Hill Country Park, about 400 feet (120m) above sea level, providing stunning, unobstructed panoramic views of Belfast City and Belfast Lough . Belfast Castle is a magnificent mansion located on the slopes of Cave Hill Country Park, about 400 feet (120m) above sea level, providing stunning, unobstructed panoramic views of Belfast City and Belfast Lough . History and Ownership The history of "Belfast Castle" spans centuries, though the structures were not always on the same site. Original Site: The first Belfast Castle was a Norman structure built in the 12th century in what is now Belfast City Centre (its location is marked by street names like Castle Place), but it was destroyed by fire in 1708. Current Castle: The present castle, a Victorian building, was constructed between 1867 and 1870 on its current elevated site. It was commissioned by the 3rd Marquis of Donegall, a descendant of the original owners. A Gift to the City: The castle eventually passed to the Earl of Shaftesbury family. The 9th Earl of Shaftesbury, who had served as Lord Mayor of Belfast, gifted the castle and its surrounding estate to the citizens of Belfast in 1934. Modern Era: After a major £2 million refurbishment in the 1970s and 80s, the castle reopened in 1988. Today, it is a key visitor attraction, conference centre, and sought-after wedding venue. Architecture and Unique Features The castle is a striking Grade A listed example of the Scottish Baronial architectural style, which was popular in the High Victorian Era. Design: Designed by the architectural firm of Lanyon, Lynn, and Lanyon, it features a distinctive aesthetic with locally quarried sandstone walls, multiple turrets, and crow-stepped gables. It includes a prominent six-story square tower, which is said to be inspired by Balmoral Castle in Scotland. The Serpentine Staircase: A notable feature is the Italian-style serpentine outside staircase added in 1894. It connects the first-floor reception rooms to the garden terrace and features a section of the Shaftesbury crest. The Nine Lucky Cats Myth: A popular myth holds that the castle will be safe from disaster as long as a cat resides on the grounds. In keeping with this, visitors can search for nine hidden cat sculptures throughout the manicured gardens. Cave Hill Country Park: The castle is situated within the expansive country park, which offers scenic walking trails and features a prominent rock formation known as Napoleon's Nose, rumored to be the inspiration for Jonathan Swift's Gulliver's Travels.

A great old restored castle in a beautiful setting. It was built in the the 1860s and today it is an event centre. The surrounding grounds are stunning. The restaurant is a great place to stop for a bite to eat or enjoy one of their delicious meals.

Belfast Castle was a beautiful place to visit. Its high up and you can see the whole Belfast city and bay from the nice garden. It's not big, and unfortunately the restaurant, cafee, and interior was closed due to renovation. But its such a nice and peaceful atmosphere if you need a break from the busy city centre.

Queen's University Belfast is a prestigious institution known for its strong programs in humanities, science, and medicine. The university's main building boasts a striking Tudor-style architecture that resembles Hogwarts, making it an iconic symbol of Belfast's academic heritage. Located near the city center, the campus is a hub of student life and research activities. The surrounding area offers vibrant experiences with locals enjoying good banter and fun-filled gatherings.
I was very impressed while visiting Queen’s University Belfast. The university is one of the most beautiful I have seen, with its historic red-brick buildings and well-maintained gardens. It has a rich history and a strong reputation for education and research. During my visit, I had the chance to explore the Student Union building, and it was a big surprise for me. The building is modern and full of life. There are many facilities for students, including cafés, study areas, and social spaces. It is a great place for students to relax, meet friends, and enjoy university life. The campus itself is also very welcoming. The atmosphere is lively, and you can feel the energy of students everywhere. The library is impressive, with a huge collection of books and quiet spaces for studying. The university also has excellent sports facilities and clubs for different interests.

It's one of the most noticeable buildings you will see in Belfast. It's a prestigious, well known, and research driven university. I was impressed with red-brick building, massive campus, and well maintained garden. During our Belfast visit we went to see the university but it was closed as it was weekend. But definitely worth visiting and it's a  popular attraction among tourists.

Stunning campus, easily the most beautiful I’ve seen, right by the gardens and river as well. Excellent facilities and curriculum. Will gladly support or guest lecture if there is ever a desire.
Chris P — Google review
Open Day (Maths & Physics) The campus is stunning – gorgeous Victorian architecture, spotless grounds, and a very well-organised open day with food trucks, giant board games, and even guided tours of the student accommodation. The Maths and Physics talks were interesting, and the lecturers seemed passionate, but the Physics labs felt underwhelming, especially compared to Maynooth University. The biggest disappointment was the rigid entry policy. The Head of Enrolment repeated that “you cannot study physics without physics,” which may sound logical, but it ignores the reality that many Irish schools don’t have physics teachers – meaning bright, motivated students are excluded through no fault of their own. Other universities in the Republic of Ireland are more flexible, accepting students with two science subjects and higher-level maths. Queen’s might want to rethink this if they truly want to attract wider talent. Beautiful place, well-run event – but the narrow mindset left a sour note.

Came to Belfast Ireland from a cruise. Stopped by Queens' University. Absolutely historic University and incredibly beautiful campus. Queen's University Belfast boasts a rich history dating back to its founding by Queen Victoria in 1845 as Queen's College, designed to be a non-denominational university alongside colleges in Cork and Galway. It became an independent institution, the Queen's University of Belfast, in 1908. Its most unique and enduring asset is the Lanyon Building, a stunning red-brick and sandstone masterpiece of Tudor-Gothic architecture. Designed by Sir Charles Lanyon, the building's intricate facade, central tower, and beautiful quadrangle make it an iconic symbol of the city, frequently featured on local banknotes and tourist literature. Beyond its architecture, Queen's is a member of the prestigious Russell Group of research-intensive universities and has produced notable alumni, including Nobel laureates like poet Seamus Heaney and is currently led by Chancellor Hillary Rodham Clinton.

La Mon Hotel & Country Club is a stylish hotel with conference amenities, an indoor pool, and two gyms. The hotel pays homage to the 1968 mob crime thriller and Steve McQueen, offering retro charm without being tacky. The rooms are cozy and sleek, featuring monochrome tones and some with murals of the 1960s icon. Guests can relax at the 15-meter swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, or steam room.
I spent one night at La Mon Hotel & Country Club and was overall very pleased with my stay. The hotel is located just outside Belfast in a quiet, green setting - ideal for those who want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and appreciate a relaxed atmosphere. The location is pleasantly quiet, but still easily accessible by car. My room was surprisingly large and offered plenty of space to spread out and feel at home. It was clean, well-kept and comfortably furnished. The breakfast was particularly good: it was very plentiful, fresh and varied. From hot dishes and fresh fruit to pastries and juices - there really is something to suit everyone's taste. The staff in the breakfast area were friendly and attentive, which added to the positive overall impression. Even though I only spent one night there, I could feel the wellness character of the hotel. For a longer stay, I would also like to try out the leisure facilities such as the pool or the fitness area, which made a very good impression. Overall, I can recommend La Mon Hotel & Country Club to anyone looking for a quiet hotel with good service and a delicious breakfast near Belfast.

On arrival (approximately 17:30), following a service at the local crematorium, I found the receptionist to be very rude, demanding to know if we had booked. We explained that we made the decision following the service to go somewhere to have coffee and a catch-up. The receptionist told us we couldn't sit in the bar/restaurant as they had bookings (we didn't have a problem with that). We were able to find enough seats in the foyer. When we left 1 1/2 hours later bar/restaurant was still empty. The bar was unattended for several minutes and they told us that they would bring our coffee to us. Several minutes later, following other people in the group getting their drinks. I went back and was abruptly asked "can I help you" I replied that I was wondering when we would get our coffee? The response was we're just putting on the shortbread. The coffees were sitting on the bar getting cold. When the member of staff eventually brought them out she banged them down on the table, returned with the shortbread and banged it down on another table without any comment. This venue on arrival looks very appealing. Unfortunately all the staff that we encountered let this venue down.

Booked a night stay for me and my partner. Arrived to a lovely warm and friendly greeting but two ladies on reception. Went to room it was a nice room. We went to the country club to make use of the swimming pool. We were instructed we needed to buy swim hats to enter the pool, we explained my partner had jus had a procedure which meant he couldn't wear a hat. We could see into the pool from the reception and pointed out almost no one was wearing the hats and if we didn't buy them we couldn't enter. During our time in the pool the same guy was around the pool area seeing no one was wearing the hats and he did not mention it or try to enforce the so called rule. Seems it was just another £6 to obtain must buy hats but they don't care if you wear them or not. When I entered the ladies changing area and went to use the toilet there was poop on the floor which I immediately reported to man on desk, 1 hour after our pool time the poop was still on the floor!!! Disgusting. We later were told by reception the man on the reception was the manager of country club. He needs to learn how to manage. We had dinner in the restaurant it was average nothing special and still hungry after. The bed was comfortable had a good sleep. Breakfast was very good

Was staying over as attended a wedding. The venue is outstanding, the room was very comfortable. My only negative comment was the table service at the wedding meal. It was quite a wait between courses, and when the dishes were being cleared, only part of the table was cleared , some forgotten about. I am putting this down to waiting staff being busy All in all a pleasant stay

Beautiful and modern on outside. Very dated as you go further in. Rooms good size but very outdated. The pool area very grubby and run down, bit off putting as the tiles had a layer of scum on them. Shower knobs wasn’t working in pool area. Steam room was the worst part. Looked to be mould all over it. Tiles crumbling and grout coming off around pool also. No private rooms to change had to go into toilet. Menu option was the same options for lunch time very poor selection and staff all gathered around the door area looking clueless and bored was a bit awkward when waiting for someone to call us for a table. Has so much potential but seems to be ignored. Bed was massive but pillows were so uncomfortable I had to eventually sleep without them. Had a massage but felt like the lady was making up the massage as she was going along. Bed had an uneven leg so I was constantly wobbling as she worked on me. Room was freezing too and I left feeling more uneasy as I arrived. Again has so much potential and staff is lovely. I personally wouldn’t come back here

If there was an option to give zero stars, I would...People like this should not be in business, their actions are grossly unprofessional, and frankly reckless. I booked accommodation to stay on Saturday night. When I arrived at the property shortly after 6pm there was nobody at the property. I called the business's main number, where I received a voice message to call another number for "Nicole". This individual never answered the multiple calls, and messages I sent. Agoda whom I booked through were also unable to get any response from this business. They left me stranded, and scrambling to find alternative last minute accommodation in Belfast on a busy Saturday night, owing to sporting events happening in the city on that evening. Absolutely disgraceful.

Lovely little B&B with a very friendly owner. Stayed 4 nights and Nicole was very helpful, even offering me an early breakfast when she heard I had to leave early one morning. The delicious breakfasts were definitely a highlight! About a 30 min walk or very quick bus journey along the Lisburn Road into the city centre. Shame to read the (rare) negative reviews, people need to be a bit more patient as Nicole clearly works very hard but she is just one person! So sometimes you do need to just call for her if she is busy somewhere else, rather than expecting her to be instantly where you want her. No one can be everywhere at once!

Nice quiet area and peaceful hotel, so I enjoyed three good night sleeps. However, my room was small, dark, and pokey, I think I had the short straw of the choice of rooms. I had a used towel left in my bathroom from the previous guests which when I told the person at the reception they apologised but didn't offer to take it so I had to handle it myself and bring it down to reception, also my shower wasn't working there was a twist on the pipe so the water just trickled down, I mentioned it to the person on reception and he gave me a key to another room so I could use the shower only. When I said earlier, I had the short straw. I realised this when using the other room. It was like walking into another hotel, the room was perfect and I wished it was mine, however the shower was better but still not the best. Another positive is the convenient free parking. Oh, and they don't do daily housekeeping.

Where to start with this place? A grand big house within a 15 minute walk to Holywood, have passed it many times and not even realised its there. From the warm welcome, and homely vibe, to the large rooms, huge beds and stunning views (room 14) excitement began to build for the 'Titanic' menu. Pre drinks in a fine big room, similar hungry guests chatted politely with food in mind, before we were brought to a fine big dining room to start the Titanic experience. Without exception, every course was beautiful, served up by friendly staff including Bernie the proprietor. There was no rush, no where had anywhere else to be and this told in the nice relaxed atmosphere. The scallop and the beef probably the highlights, and any questions about the menu were answered by a talented chef in Conor. A truly wonderful experience start to finish, with an excellent breakfast the following day just to finish off the perfect night away. Anyone thinking of booking... Just do it!

The Wolff Grill on the top floor of the Titanic Hotel is a great place to enjoy a filling roast meal or some fine dining favourites such as lamb, rabbit and monkfish. The views of the Titanic Belfast building and slipways are highly impressive, making this an ideal spot for lunch or an evening drinks reception.
A Taste of Belfast History at The Wolff Grill Nestled within the historic Titanic Hotel, The Wolff Grill offers a refined dining experience with breathtaking views of Belfast's iconic landmarks. The restaurant exudes an air of understated elegance, creating a perfect ambience for a special occasion or a memorable night out. On a recent visit, I opted for the classic Shepherd's Pie, and it was nothing short of divine. The tender lamb, slow-cooked to perfection, melted in my mouth with a rich and savoury flavour. The creamy mashed potato topping, golden brown and slightly crisp, provided a delightful contrast to the succulent lamb. Each bite was a harmonious blend of textures and tastes, a testament to the chef's culinary expertise. We also had Perfectly Cooked Fillet of steak. This fillet steak was cooked to a perfect medium. It boasted a beautifully seared exterior while remaining tender and juicy within.  The flavour was rich and satisfying, showcasing the quality of the cut.  A truly exceptional steak experience. The Wolff Grill is more than just a restaurant; it's an experience. From the delectable cuisine to the impeccable service and stunning views, every aspect is carefully curated to create a truly unforgettable dining experience. I highly recommend The Wolff Grill to anyone seeking a taste of Belfast's culinary history.

TLDR: Excellent food and great service, but need to be more attentive when you’re done your meal. I had dinner on my own, I showed up a few minutes late to allow for the 7pm rush to subside. I was offered my selection of 2-tops to choose from, and while I ducked away to the restroom pre-dinner, the staff had already brought my requested red wine and a carafe of water (which is enough for me to give a 5-star review, as there is nothing worse than waiting for someone to come around and refill your water) I ordered the duck spring rolls and seafood linguine, after a discussion with the lovely server who helped me choose between a few selections. Both were divine. Service was wonderful with various staff members checking on me throughout the meal, though not to the point that it was annoying. My only complaints (which, as dry humor is difficult to pick up in a review, are not actually complaints at all, just a further reflection of the great food and service) are: - I wish I had some bread to mop up the delicious sauce my linguine was served in - The sun was too bright on my table on this glorious Belfast evening (they rectified this immediately on another customer’s request 1 minute before I took this photo) Cannot say enough good things about this place, which could easily be a sub-par tourist trap, but is in fact, quite a lovely dining experience. Update: wrote the above all glowy from my delicious meal but have to dock a few points for the length of time I’ve sat (after confirming with the assistant manager that I didn’t need anything else) waiting for my bill. I know it’s very European to linger and rude to rush customers out, but since I’m by myself (and American) … I’d rather just go. This went on for long enough at the end where when they left one of my large wines off the bill, I toyed with not telling them because it would keep me here for an extra 10 minutes to fix - but I’m too honest for my own good.

Not sure why the rating is so low? Very nice food and not overly priced. The seafood are fresh and well seasoned. The starter scampi prawn is simple but must try! Service is a bit slow but nice.

As a huge Titanic historian, simply being in Titanic Hotel Belfast is enough to whack 5 stars on this review of the attached restaurant. The whole building (including the restaurant) is a museum in itself and well worth a walk around. Anyways, we had a lovely drink in Drawing Room 2 across the way before heading to The Wolff Grill for dinner. The menu was varied and interesting, the staff hugely attentive and the atmosphere amazing. We were sat next to the 'bollocking booth' which was in the middle of the working floor back in 1900. Look up where it's name came from! Don't expect a cheap feed. Prices are steep but totally worth it in my view. We had some prawns and duck spring rolls for starter. They were tremendous - especially the duck with the chilli, ginger and watermelon. Odd, but worked so well together. A lamb stew and massive burger followed. This was washed down with a bottle of merlot. No change out of £100 but for a rare treat whilst in Belfast, the home of Titanic and a visit to The Wolff Grill is definitely worth it. They also do a fabulous breakfast if you are staying at the hotel! @familydadventures

Servers were clearly interested in good service and allergy concerns and the general message was, let us know what you like and we will see what we can do which was great Unfortunately, even though they are classing themselves as an expensive fine dining experience they are not quite delivering on it all. From a coeliac perspective, despite a desire to provide options, there is no separate frier therefore no chips or other fried options available. I was not overly worried by the lack of a GF menu however was hoping for better guidance from staff. The GF breads were nice but not outstanding, the chicken and mash was very nice, and the garlic, chilli broccoli and peas was very nice. Only desert option available GF was a chocolate almond tart with raspberry which was ok but very very rich and overpowering. Really would have needed a little ice-cream or something to help cut it a little. Overall I was disappointed, by comparison Browns Bonds Hill in Derry is a similar restaurant targeting the same clientele and is of significantly higher quality of food and flexibility for GF customers. I would recommend you to visit but as much for the surroundings as the food. If you want a high end food experience go to Brown's Bond's Hill in Derry.

The perfect place to celebrate a life moment. I had just proposed to my partner before arriving, and the team at the Titanic Restaurant made the night feel truly special. We were given a private space, and the atmosphere was calm, elegant, and intimate — exactly what we needed after such a big moment. The service was exceptional, and a huge thanks goes to Finn, he was amazing and looked after us with genuine care and attention. Nothing felt rushed or routine — just thoughtful, personal hospitality. A flawless experience we’ll never forget. Highly recommended for anyone marking something meaningful.

When for birthday tea but found the restaurant a bit soulless. Didn't feel particularly prestigious and certainly didn't feel like a dining room on board the Titanic. The starter was tasty enough, but 3 of us found ordering a burger was really the only thing that seemed value for money. Doesn't say much for the menu. Everything was an extra for the steak and the menu and staff confirmed it would only be offered up with a tomato. Only other thing that stood out was there was no offering from staff to take or hang our coats. Mine ended up on the floor because of the shape of the chairs. Don't think I'll be back. You will also have to pay for parking and they are far enough away to get a bit of a soaking if it rains.

We were in Belfast this week for our wedding anniversary and my husband booked this for the night of our anniversary. Our table wasn't ready so we were asked to wait in the bar. We were called to our table 10 minutes later, we then had to wait quite a long time for our order to taken. As people were leaving none of the tables were cleared, they were still not cleared when we were leaving. Our table was also not cleared after our main course as our side dishes were still on the table when our desert arrived. There was no issue with the food as that was excellent. I ordered a decaf coffee from a waiter, my coffee didn't arrive I asked the waiter again for my coffee. It eventually arrived in such a large cup it was like a soup bowl, there was no milk so I asked for it from the waiter this never turned up!! Another waitress came to ask if all was OK, we asked her for the bill and asked her to remove the coffee from our bill. She apologised for what happened and removed the coffee from our bill.

Leonardo Hotel Belfast is a modern and relaxed hotel located in the heart of Belfast City Centre. The hotel offers 270 spacious rooms with en suite bathrooms and flat-screen TVs, including family rooms with additional seating. Guests can enjoy the convenience of an in-house restaurant and bar. The hotel's central location allows for easy access to key attractions, shops, bars, and restaurants within walking distance.
Had a great 2 night stay at the Leonardo. Smooth check-in with Alex who was very attentive to ensure we had everything we needed. The room was large and very comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities. Ate in the hotel restaurant which was very good and reasonably priced, again the staff were great. Breakfast was busy and we had a short wait for a table. There was plenty of choice both hot and cold. The hotel is in a great position in the City Centre. I would certainly recommend it and would definitely stay again.

The property was lovely. Loved the decor and it was very clean and well maintained. GREAT central location, just steps from the train station. Quiet, comfortable room -- great bed and pillows. And loved the soft, fluffy towels. Would definitely stay again. :)

Nice hotel in a good location. Rooms were very nice. Bed was really comfortable and I slept like a baby. Only slight gripe was breakfast in the am - i felt like they were maybe short staffed- there was a few people running about trying to clear tables and seat people & whathave you but I couldnt have a cup of coffee because there were no cups, I had to wash my own glass (with drinking water and a napkin) just so I could have some juice. The food was plentyful & tasty however and the lady who sat me down was pleasant (although clearly under pressure) while her colleague seemed to spend most of the time standing about & chatting. Not the end of the world and I would gladly go back.

I was expecting better based on my stay at the sister hotel in Bristol. The Belfast Leonardo is a pretty average and very busy city centre tourist hotel, crumbling somewhat on the outside but fairly modern on the inside. Sadly the dim lighting and lack of natural sunlight makes the hotel look more worn and less clean inside that it really is. The lighting in our bedroom and especially the bathroom was appallingly bad. We were allocated an accessible room, perhaps because the hotel was quite busy, and although larger than average the bathroom was not pleasant. Zero ventilation and only lukewarm water at the basin, although the shower was hot and powerful. Breakfast buffet was very busy even though we tried to avoid peak times. On our first morning we queued for 15 minutes for a table, something I have never done in hundreds of previous hotel stays. Breakfast was plentiful in terms of hot food but not all the menu-listed items were available e.g. sliced fruit, granola. On one occasion the red fruit compote was literally frozen. All in all it was mass catering, adequate but not great quality. There is a pretty good bar serving good coffee. Staff were consistently friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Hotel location good, central, making most attractions accessible; plenty of transport options

Perfect location, just a short walk from everything. The room was spotless, cozy, and modern. Staff were super friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options, and the bar had a great vibe in the evening. Fantastic value — highly recommend!

The hotel was centrally located near the Belfast City Hall and easy walking distance to the trains and bus services at The Grand Central Station. The staff was helpful and professional. Breakfast provided plenty to eat. I found the bathroom to be less clean that I would prefer in a public setting. Hair and debris on the floor is understandable but not acceptable in a hotel after it has just been cleaned. I use a wash cloth regularly and they did not provide those. I was also disappointed to learn that the parent company supports Israel where the government has been implicated in the ongoing genocide of the people of Gaza and has continued to steal land from the Palestinian people and appears unwilling to work toward a peaceful coexistence with the people of Palestine and allow for their thriving and self governance.

‘Lipstick on a pig’ is a good descriptor for this place. It looks great and the decor is lovely, but under the skin it’s a very poor experience. Was the worst thing about our trip in Belfast. Rooms were clean and a good size, but service is shocking. Staff are rude and management don’t demonstrate any real interest in dealing with the issues. If customer service is important to you, avoid.

I had a fantastic stay at the Hilton Belfast! The location is unbeatable, right on the River Lagan with stunning views that added a special touch to my trip. The staff were exceptionally courteous, going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable experience. Service was prompt and friendly, making me feel truly welcomed. The modern rooms were clean and comfortable, perfectly complementing the prime city-center spot. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Belfast!

We stayed two nights in Belfast and overall had a very good experience. The location is excellent and the room was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we hoped for. Special thanks to Marie at the front desk, she was outstanding, friendly, professional, and very helpful throughout our stay. There was a small misunderstanding with Tony, but it was sorted out without issue. Breakfast was nice, but a bit inconsistent, a couple of tables were missing cups or cutlery, which could be improved. Otherwise, service and atmosphere were pleasant.

We stayed here in September 2025. We usually are quite happy staying at a Hilton and this was no different. The people were quite friendly. We had breakfast each morning that was quite delicious. The location wasn't that great as it was difficult finding nearby restaurants. So, we ate dinner each night at the hotel restaurant. The meals were very nice. It was a nice quiet atmosphere and really very pleasant. The rooms were comfortable and nice and clean. All in all, we had a very comfortable stay.

This hotel has a very good location. My first complaint would we we were given a handicapped room and the shower makes the bathroom flood with water due to not having a door. This was not explained when booking a room at the price we paid. The second complaint would be we had a free parking spot in front of the hotel and the gentleman at the desk said we could move to a safe spot in the parking garage and our ticket would be validated at check out so we would have to pay. Upon leaving o did as he said, went to leave, and was still charge £50. So I went to the desk and he was pretty rude telling me it saved me money by validating it. There was never a mention about having to pay such a high amount for parking. Had we known this we would’ve not kept the rental car, instead returning it for the time we were there not using it. Also don’t be like me and think your ticket is good to get you out. You need to go to the pay machine even after they “validate” it.

Stayed here for one night to watch the snooker final next door. While the staff are lovely, there is just not enough of them. They obviously knew there was a big snooker final on, but did not have the staff to cater for the crowds. 10 min queue for a drink. We ate in the bar, food was flavoursome but cold. Breakfast was delicious. But again, not enough staff to turn around the tables. Location is perfect if attending the waterfront theatre.

The location of the hotel is excellent — very close to the town centre and easily accessible to all nearby attractions. The famous George Market is just a 5-minute walk away, which was a big plus. The hotel itself is beautiful, well-kept, and nicely maintained. The staff were also quite cooperative and helpful throughout my stay. However, the one thing that disappointed me was the view from my room. I had specifically booked a river-view room, but instead, I was given a room overlooking the roof of the nearby museum. When I raised this with the reception, I was told there were no river-view rooms available at the time. This was a bit of a letdown. Other than that, it was a pleasant and happy stay overall.

My husband and I had a fantastic anniversary break last weekend, the hotel was lovely and a little box of chocolates in the room were a nice surprise! Spacious and clean room overlooking the river, nice ambience and a luxe feel all through the hotel and very friendly, helpful staff, breakfast had a good amount of choice and the well appointed bar attached to the hotel serves the most amazing cocktails! We walked to the Titanic museum from the hotel along the trail which was a highlight of our trip, amazing and very moving!

Check in and out was super efficient. Staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The hotel was busy but this didn’t show in the service. Room was lovely and clean, additional pillows were also provided. Shower was lovely and powerful. Shampoo and body wash provided if you didn’t have your own. Lovely large fluffy towels as well. Nice tray of many different teas, coffee and biscuits. Ice machines in corridor. No noises of anyone coming and going and hotel was very busy. Breakfast had a large variety of hot and cold food choices. We had a lovely stay and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Perfect central location for getting around.

We had the pleasure of staying at the hotel for 3nights just recently. The hotel is in a fantastic position in the city close to everything in waking distance. The hotel is exceptionally clean and the rooms are quite. The staff are very helpful and can give you information about the city. The rooms are fairly well appointed and very modern and clean with excellent bathroom and shower. I have two small criticism regarding the room. The is hanging space in an open wardrobe , but no drawers for other items clothing. Also there is nowhere to hang you coat except behind the bathroom door. Other than that no complaints here.

Very clean and tidy everywhere, I liked the self check in pods as reception was busy upon arrival. Pity there's no decent drop off area, had to park on a double yellow line for a few mins. At least the car park isn't far at all. I requested a cot bed for our toddler which wasn't in the room (rather strange as I did online check in and arrived one hour later than planned so the room was ready in advance). Had to go down to reception to request one (phone wasn't working inside the room as well) and when it was brought up by accommodation staff, it was just handed over and that's that. No help in setting it up or making a bed from it for our toddler. I've been to several countries in Europe before where the cot bed was set up with mattress, duvet, pillow and here we were left to do it ourselves. The TV isn't smart either so no Netflix or YouTube etc. For a 4 star rated hotel inner city, I kinda expected one to be there. Bar was nice, good to chill out after a long day, plenty of choice including cocktails. Slept quite well, pillows not as great but duvet was amazing and clean. Very quiet at night, good insulation. Breakfast was very good the next morning, staff were so lovely and accommodating. Plenty of choice for everyone, my toddler had the best hot breakfast which was a huge win as a parent. Check out was seamless as expected, parking ticket validated at reception for the discounted rate. We enjoyed our stay here overall.

Friendly staff, handy you get a discount on the nearby car park if you get your ticket validated at reception. Breakfast isn't anything worth talking about, its ok like, I only wish they had a hot food menu you could order some additional items from. I particularly liked that i could make my own coffee from the machine (flat white, latte etc) instead of waiting for one as it normally takes some time. Very central location. I liked that you could open the window in the room to allow enough air in as most hotels don't allow this anymore

We booked a Family Room to accommodate our family of 3, including our adult son. We stayed for 2 nights. It was a bit of a tight fit, with our 3 large suitcases, but a very comfy room, comfortable beds, a great shower and bathroom toiletries. An amazing buffet breakfast too, which we enjoyed. Love the system of marking allergies by number on all the food items. It meant my son could eat well, mindful of his allergies. The hotel is very conveniently located for doing bus trips (Giants causeway) and Black Cab tours. Lots of food options nearby from pubs, to Tesco, Cafe Nero, Greggs etc incl Nora’s Palace a Lebanese takeaway/ dine in.

The Radisson Blu Hotel in Belfast is a stylish and contemporary accommodation option, conveniently located just a short walk from the city centre. Desk staff was A++. Took amazing care of me. Hotel itself is great. Rooms were better than most in town. Large windows, very spacious. Dining room could use a bit more variety. Mattresses? Should be taken to a landfill. They felt like they were put there in the middle of last century: you will feel every last spring through the sheets.

So…. I was skeptical considering the poor reviews but this hotel experience was decent. Not 4 star worthy but decent. The good - Room was clean - Walking distance to city centre - All the amenities worked (good shower pressure, tv worked) The not so good - carpets and upholstery had tons of stains on them - mattress needs upgrading (not very comfortable) I will say as well would be useful to put plug sockets next to the bed in the renovation. The bar prices were also very expensive. The staff were nice and the hotel was quiet at night for sleeping. Will be interesting to see what the place becomes after the renovation.

Stayed here 14 October for a concert, Staff were friendly and helpful but the hotel definitely isn't 4 star. We eat in the restaurant, food was good, windows were just wiped with a damp cloth looked absolutely disgusting, rooms are outdated and not properly cleaned, seems like they just run around with a hoover. Bed seemed broken laying to one side, we included breakfast and it was like a buffet style, most of it was cold and we were down for it around 930 so we weren't late. We paid over the odds for the night as we knew the concert was in town but it definitely wasn't worth half of what we paid. Would not go back and stay if if I got it for nothing.... Very disappointed as I have stayed in a few raddisons before and they were very good.

As we arrived at the hotel it seemed like the usual Radisson standards - lovely reception area, kind staff and high quality furnishings. As we approached the desk and checked in it became clear the Radisson Blu hotel we had booked and paid for was now the ‘Gasworks’. As the lift doors of floor 2 were opened we weren’t greeted with an ice machine and great decor as expected - we were met with off white walls, filthy carpets and a smell of what can only be described as burning rubber. Our room was the first on the left; number 204. As we swung the door open we were really disappointed to see the high levels of staining on the carpet, what looked to be red wine, dirt, grime and even mud? The carpet told a story to a similar level to that of Gullivers travels! I went to plug my phone in to find my plug didn’t fit flush to the wall, not only was this a safety concern it looked awfully unsightly. The paint on the walls was scuffed, carpets filthy, skirting boards dirty, the wardrobe door was off its runner as well as greasy marks on the cabinet under the TV to which I’m still wondering what its use was? The room was cold, the bed was akin to a mountain range and the bathroom left a lot to be desired. The washing chord was black and mouldy, the shower head filled with lime scale and the bath hadn’t seen a bottle of bleach for a long time. During our three day stay we showered once out of necessity. The tea, coffee and sugars weren’t topped up enough and the furniture was scuffed and damaged. It was interesting to see that there was a floor marked ‘Radisson’ and when the lift opened it was clear to see it had been renewed unlike the majority of the hotel. I feel as though we were totally miss sold our hotel - We booked the Radisson as it’s a standard we are used to and wouldn’t have gone ahead with the stay should we have known the change of hands. I hope no one else falls for this trap. I would like to mention that the staff were kind and polite.

I loved the location of the hotel, we could walk to town. Easy to get out to go places like the Titanic etc. We arrived when there was complimentary parking, I loved that. The food at the restaurant was nice. I checked in online and selected king bed but arrived in a room of 2 single beds, called reception no answer. Luckily there was a house keeping guy outside who changed it BUT he put in a double inner in a king cover, only realised late at night that the duvet was all wrong. We let it go for the night, in the morning I went to reception to let them know so they'd ask accommodation to have it changed, hours later it hadn't been changed. My advice don't bother ringing reception from your room, it just rings off. I sent an email no reply. I went down to reception to let them know again but nobody went in to change and to hoover. The room itself could have done with a bit of dusting and there were hairs everywhere, particularly in the bath tub and the chair. The lighting was also not that great in that room. The staff are generally nice just one lady that was rude towards my little one, perhaps they don't have enough kids menu, she practically walked over and snatched the menu off my kids hands and said "Give me that small menu" and it turns out the couple with an infant did not need a menu, there were 7 tables with 2 waiters... Her head can't be spinning because of that!!

Room was a bit shabby/ unclean in places although linen/towels were good. Couldn't get sink plug to pop up, so l lifted it out and plug was disgusting. Toilet pan was stained in bottom and there were some dirty grout areas in shower. Carpet was also a bit stained. I dont have a problem with wear and tear, but the sink incident make me shudder Bed was comfy and food in the restaurant was good. We had dinner which was good but they forgot about us after starters and we waited a long time. We had two teenagers who were very hungry. Staff did give us a 15% discount however because of our long wait. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were attentive and helpful. I heard hotel was being upgraded and l think it needs it, based on my room. Despite these issues, l did find the hotel comfortable to stay in. I hope once it has been upgraded these things will be addressed. Location is very good and quiet too.

We came up to Belfast for a quick weekend away and this hotel was just what we were looking for! Located about a 10 minute walk from the main City Centre area, we were really impressed with the location. Super friendly staff and lovely Christmas decorations. We didn’t get to enjoy the bar/restaurant due to how quick our stay was but it’s window look out onto the lake beside it. Our room was nice and big with a standard bathroom. Comfy bed and gorgeous high ceilings we definitely a plus for us. Staff all seemed very friendly and the online check-in / check-out is a great feature We will be coming back to Belfast in April for another trip and we think we have found where we will be staying.

Reception and ground floor is really nice until I got upto the second floor. Dirty carpets in the hallway with an unpleasant smell. Room felt like someone just left the room, probably housekeeping didn't do the job. Chair, carpet and curtains all have horrible stains and I had to ask for a change of room but the replacement was a disappointment as well. Tired and exhausted, I decided to get on with it. Desk staff is amazing, very helpful. I asked if they have a toothbrush and they provided one.

The AC Hotel Belfast is a modern hotel situated by the river, offering casual rooms and suites with chic interiors and luxurious amenities. The hotel's riverside location provides a picturesque setting for leisurely walks, while pet-friendly policies make it convenient for travelers with furry companions. Additionally, the hotel offers early check-in options and discounted parking nearby.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel was very clean, both public spaces and our room. Our room was comfortable, with plenty of space and a large shower room. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The front desk gave us good ideas of places to visit during our stay, and directions. Breakfast was good quality and plentiful, and we had one dinner in the hotel as well, which was excellent. We also really enjoyed sitting outside in the comfortable seating area, having drinks with a view of the water. Great location for sightseeing, everything we wanted to see was within walking distance.

Extremely disappointing hotel experience, especially given the standards one should expect from a Marriott property. Reception staff were generally polite but clearly untrained, and the check-in process was abnormally slow. As a business traveler, I simply cannot afford to waste nearly 30 minutes retrieving the key to a room that was already prepaid online. Totally unacceptable. The restaurant experience was even worse: I had to call the waiter three times before he finally came to take my initial order—over 15 minutes after I was seated. Then, I waited an additional 45 minutes for a basic burger. Toward the end of the evening, I ordered a drink to wrap things up… which never came. And yet, it appeared on the bill! I had to insist for it to be removed. The bar staff was unprofessional and completely lacking in courtesy. Lastly, a note on the bathroom: the shower floor was dangerously slippery—so much so that they provide an anti-slip mat. Not exactly reassuring, nor particularly hygienic. This kind of detail is simply not acceptable for a hotel in this category. I travel to Belfast two to three times a year for business, but I can confidently say this will be my last stay at this hotel.

I was very disappointed with my stay at the AC Marriott Belfast. For the price I paid, I expected far better service and a warmer, more respectful experience. The room itself was fine, though I was surprised to find no complimentary water bottles provided. Check-in took an unnecessarily long time, with no explanation why, and the reception staff came across as abrupt and disengaged—barely making eye contact. The location is a bit of a walk from the city's activities. The one bright spot was a genuinely lovely young employee who delivered my room service the first night of my stay; he showed more professionalism friendliness than most of the staff I encountered. Unfortunately, there’s an older man with an English accent working at night in the bar area who was extremely rude—frankly enough to put anyone off staying here. Breakfast was also severely underwhelming. This hotel needs to make serious changes in terms of customer service and guest experience. I would not stay here again.

House Belfast is a cool, charming hotel with a lively bar serving pub staples and cocktails. The perfect place to while away an afternoon or night in the heart of the Queen's Quarter.
There were a group of seven of us in on Saturday for the bottomless brunch. We actually only booked for 6 but they were happy to accommodate us. The place is absolutely stunning to start off with. Our server for the afternoon was a delightful guy called Peter. Service was very smooth. Drinks were plentiful with no waiting around & the food was very tasty. I would definitely recommend this place. All the staff were fantastic at their jobs but a special shout out to Peter who made our afternoon just that extra bit special.

5 STARS IS NOT ENOUGH - AMAZING!! I booked House for my sisters hen last Saturday; there was 27 of us! They gave us the option of our own private room upstairs, I didn't think much of it. When I arrived, WOW! It was amazing. We had our own bar, toilets and the 2 most amazing bar staff! The food was stunning, despite my mishaps with the preorder form, the staff were extremely accommodating. We had the most amazing night, the staff even got in on the fun. We had another place booked for a dance that night but we had such a lovely time in Hosue we ended up staying. Jennifer accommodating us again! Honestly, I had an absolutely amazing time and would 10/10 recommend. Thank you guys, Fiona

Had my wedding here and stayed overnight. Jennifer and the team made our day a dream come true. Food was gorgeous, they decorated it beautifully, took care of us and our room was stunning. Thanks to everyone who took care of us this weekend

Love love love...We enjoyed a brunch with cocktails and spent time afterwards sitting outside in the sunshine before popping off around Belfast. We ended our evening by stopping in again for one last tipple before we headed home. Really attentive staff and one bar man in particular was an absolute pleasure; nothing was too much; a true old school attentive service. We left feeling so Glam and cared for. Thank you.

Very poor experience all round - would never go again. Dirty, disorganised, rude management and average food. Such a shame because our servers were so lovely! They did everything to make us feel welcome but sadly, organisation and management made our hen trip a nightmare. In the lead up every time I emailed/called there was confusion and never a clear answer. Its obvious that no one is employed to oversee things and it felt like random people were just picking up the phone. We were told we needed to confirm our orders well in advance but we were only sent the menu less than a week before the event after countless emails. We left off decorations to set up for the hen and were greeted by a male staff member that was so rude that we had a genuine discussion among our party of if we should cancel and look elsewhere but decided against it. We then went to a lovely female staff member who was very helpful and pleasant who reassured us. We showed up on time to the venue and none of our decorations were up. This was extremely disappointing as we spent a lot of money on them and felt this was wasted. They set up the decor quickly while we sat at the table but this felt pointless as the bride was already there, seeing all this. We were offered a free mocktail/soft drink to compensate which was very kind by a very apologetic serving staff which was definitely much appreciated but we feel so upset that our bride never saw her beautiful decor. We also were on 2 different tables so far apart that our party never felt we got to really talk to eachother. The food was average and cold and the drinks were so expensive, I paid £6.40 for a large club orange. The venue was dirty and only one toilet had a working lock out of the 7 available cubicles. Our feet were sticking to the floor in the hall they were so grubby. So disappointed because this was such a special occasion.

I've been going to House Hotel for a few years both with friends and meeting clients. However more recently (Post Covid) I have found the staff to be quite unprofessional. This has happened a few times. This morning the unwelcoming demeanour of the waiter when I asked for a table for myself and a couple of friends and he responded is that for 2 or 20??? I said a couple is usually 2. I asked for a particular table and he said ok before waddling off without asking what I would like to drink or eat. I had to call over to him again to request a coffee, he made a note without saying anything.... this is just sloppy service. When the coffee arrived the cup was dirty and stained. Not a big deal you might say but this is regarded as a luxury boutique hotel so you expect much better service. The place was also completely empty so there was zero excuse for any of this. The 2 stars is for the décor which is quite nice.

Called in for lunch, very reasonable price, and selection. Staff are really friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend it Sea food dish is out of this world. But its all about the staff as far as im concerned, cant do enough for ya. Will be back

Location is great If you dont mind tweekers across the street- parking hit or miss 15 min from the titanic experience. Food - atrocious / pasta and prawns too spicy to enjoy. Bruschetta oily and cold cheese- not good . Risotto - undercooked and bland . No apology from foh managers - just comp’d a round of wine . Ive worked if food service all my life and im embarrassed for them . Dont ear here . Bartender was the saving grace .

Belfast International Youth Hostel offers a range of accommodation options, including colourful dorms and private rooms with free Wi-Fi. The hostel features a cafe, shared kitchen, and lounge for guests to enjoy. Convenient amenities such as laundry facilities, secure parking, and 24-hour reception are available. The spacious and clean dorms feature metal bunks and laminate floors. Private rooms are described as small but comfortable with soft beds and storage lockers.
One of the best hostels where I've ever been. Price is really good compare to what you get. Perfect for solo / duo travellers. The rooms are nice and clean such as the whole building. You can drink coffee of tea for free if you want. What else can I say? Yes, it's close to the city, every sight is a walkable distance from here, and also if you're about to plan to go on a Giant's Causeway tour, the buses depart from here. :)

I recently stayed at the Belfast International Youth Hostel in a private room during my trip to Belfast. While the location of the hostel was absolutely perfect — centrally located and within walking distance of most key attractions — and the view from the room was quite pleasant, unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing. To begin with, the room itself was well below average. The cleanliness left much to be desired. The floor tiles were not properly fixed, which not only looked unkempt but also made walking around uncomfortable. The room felt very outdated, as though it hadn’t been refurbished or even properly maintained in the past 10 years. The bathroom, although technically clean, was extremely old and poorly maintained. Fixtures were worn out, the design felt decades behind, and the general atmosphere gave a sense of neglect. It was far from the standard one would expect, even from a budget accommodation. Now, coming to the bed — it was genuinely the worst I’ve ever encountered in any hotel or hostel. It was incredibly squeaky; even the slightest movement, like adjusting my leg, would result in loud creaking noises that disrupted my sleep. The bedsheets and duvet did not feel clean, and the bedding overall lacked the freshness and comfort expected from any kind of paid accommodation. In summary, while the location and view were the only redeeming aspects of the stay, the room condition, bathroom quality, and especially the bed comfort were far below acceptable standards. With some serious attention to maintenance and upgrades, the hostel could greatly improve the guest experience — but as it currently stands, I would not recommend staying here.

It's not the Ritz but it's a perfectly ok hostel for young travellers. Rooms and services are basic, bed was comfortable enough, check-in/out were smooth. The location is perfect and just a 10 minutes walk from the city centre. I'd go back here.

NOT WORTH THE PRICE. I booked a private bedroom for a day of rest in-between travels, and boy am I glad it was only for one night. I didn't expect much it's only a room in a hostel, but still for £70 I felt scammed. Basic cleanliness and comfort would have been nice. The bed is old and rickety, with a hole behind it and no electric outlets anywhere near it. The sheets don't fit the mattress and don't feel clean or fresh. The bathroom is something out of the 1960s in soviet union with a shower not separated by any kind of glass wall or curtain from the rest of the bathroom, spraying water everywhere. No bin in the bathroom: if you are on your period, good luck! The door of the bathroom is moldy were people hang their towel. Want to rinse your mouth after cleaning your teeth? Take a water bottle because the pressure of the faucet is too much to cup water in your hands without waterboarding yourself. There are holes in the ceiling of the bathroom, the plaster is coming of the walls everywhere, I'm pretty sure the floorboard beneath the window is moldy too, and why the hell are the switches so far away from the bed? Even the chairs and the tea/coffee station in the reception are look dodgy. It just adds up. For £40 it might be acceptable but clearly not for £70.

Women on the front desk were horridly rude. Can’t understate this. Rooms were not great. Toilets and showers dirty and smelled like urine. Like the comment below if I could give this a zero I would. The battery for the key card on the room died in the middle of night and I got locked in the hallway. No apology from the staff. Phil on the front desk on the last day was nice. The other women were so incredibly rude I was quite shocked

If it wasn’t for Josie I would’ve checked out and asked for a refund. She was an absolute angel and comforted me, a complete stranger during an extremely weird experience at this hostel. The hostel housed me a young woman with older men who are problematic, but Josie helped me get a new room where I felt safe. Can’t say all the employees care about well being though.

If I could give it 0 stars I would have been coming here with couple of years it's an ok place you get what you pay for I mainly come here for price and parking which is locked in ... Have been coming here for a couple of years and never ever had a issue until today .. I always recognise the same guys on the reception all the time and they know me from been there ... Until tonight I met a nasty receptionist I lost my wallet earlier this week and lost all my identity with it despite that the NEW lady would not let me enter the hostel because I had no idea she said I would loose my job despite me having a picture of every id I have on my phone in the event I did loose it ... I have been coming here for several years and have never been asked for id the guys even know my name there I am so recognised there ... I have never ever caused a ounce of trouble there or made a complaint about facilities there which sometimes I should have but never did ... I am now sitting in my van having to sleep in here for the night due to this problem which is totally unfair on my behalf I had a picture of my id with me there is no difference looking at it on a photograph to having it in your hand as I said I have been here for years and never had a issue with anyone else until I met this new staff member today ... I can just imagine someone coming here with kids or a disabled person or a person with special needs and been turned away and having no where to sleep and been hours away from home .. shame on that particular receptionist not the rest of the crew never had a single issue with them just this particular receptionist that has been on tis evening very arrogant person to deal with just to think of leaving regularly basis people put on the street due to them loosing there identification is crazy it is not my first time been here and will probably be my last after this incident as I am now booked for 2 days and have no where to stay ..I even go to the extend of cleaning my own room before I leave to have less pressure on the workers abousalute shambles... This new receptionist needs to be reviewed before the company looses alot of businesses... And I know it is company policy with identity but howany times does regular person needs to show identity when they are well know and it is booked on system numerous times and can be seen

Booked this spot for a night in Belfast with my partner for work, and wasn't expecting it to be as nice as it was! The kitchenettes are very cute the bathrooms are a good size with a good big shower! For the price it was a bargain we paid 85 for the night... Loved the dark decor beds are so so comfy!!

We had a fabulous 4 night stay. Amazing location, right in the city centre. Great, large rooms with brilliant facilities. Very comfortable bed. Yes it was a little nosiey with traffic noise or noise from the bar on a Saturday night, but the hotel gave us ear buds on request, which did help. All the staff were extremely friendly. We can't wait to come back to Belfast and will definitely stay here again.

I normally stay elsewhere in Belfast but found The Flint to be really intriguing so I said I'd give it a go. The staff were so friendly and helpful. They were more than happy to store my bags until my room was ready. The room was class; very clean, functional and loved the view. Although Belfast can party until late, I didn't hear a thing with the excellent soundproofing. Also loved that there was milk in the fridge for tea! Highly recommended and I'll be back!

We really enjoyed our stay at The Flint. Staff was very friendly, the location was great and walkable, the bar downstairs was very good, and there was free laundry! The laundry thing was huge as we were nearing the end of a long trip. Really spacious and comfortable room with a kitchenette even though it was not a suite. Just a really lovely experience top to bottom. No on-site parking but there is a parking garage just a couple of blocks away that you got a discount at if staying at the hotel.

I really enjoyed my stay at The Flint. The room felt like a small studio, modern and very comfortable. It was well equipped with everything necessary for a pleasant and independent stay. The location is great, and everything was clean and well organized. I would be happy to come back and highly recommend it to other travelers

Clean and cozy room. Friendly staff. Seems to be in a good location. Two notes worth mentioning: the carpark is 18 pounds after validation (I read the parking note on the FAQ page that the parking would be validated, probably just a language difference). Also, entry to building feels like it in an alley-way - nice space but had us confused for a bit looking for the hotel - The hotel is above a restaurant and the signage/entryway is not obvious.

Loud as all. I could hear my neighbours on either side and above as if they were in the room. To top ot off there is a bar/club that plays bassy music until 1am if you are as unfortunate as I was to stay on the first floor, do not. Best to find another hotel there are plenty of great ones in the city. Room and staff were nice but wow so noisy. They don’t believe in early well rested mornings here. Who has to wake up at 6:00am? This guy does. They should warn their guests and accommodate early risers. This just feels terrible and sleepless.

Only reason I slightly marked down the service is there was no resident bar. We stayed as a group of people and fancied a few late drinks but with no bar it didn't happen. Other than that the rooms, service and whole experience was great, couldn't fault it

Vagabonds Belfast is a newly opened hostel located in the heart of the Queens Quarter, housed in a beautifully refurbished listed building. The hostel offers rooms and dorms with amenities such as a beer garden, wood-burning stove, bike hire, breakfast, and Wi-Fi. It's conveniently situated within walking distance of Belfast's tourist attractions and amenities. Guests have praised the cleanliness of the hostel and its comfortable beds, although some noted that it can get quite cold at night.
Great hostel, walking distance from Queens Uni, Botanic Gardens and Ulster museum. Vagabonds is a really pleasant place to spend your downtime and sleeptime as well. All the staff and guests were fun to chat with over coffee or meals. The perfect home base for a stay in Belfast.

The staff are some of the loveliest you’ll meet and go above and beyond to welcome you. It’s a well-priced hostel, and we appreciated the free breakfast as part of the cost. However, it needs a serious upgrade. The feel of the rooms is ‘school camp style’. There is no privacy like you might get in a pod style with curtains - it’s all completely open. There are no shelves for you to place things near your bed. There are under-bed cages but they are not lockable. The lockers offered are too small for your average sized luggage and most were broken. There weren’t even any hooks anywhere to hang your (own) towel. After being in several hostels, it’s clear which ones are thoughtful about arranging spaces, and this one is not.

Excellent backpacker style hostel. Very well run, clean and with a homely feel. Free tea, coffee, cereal and toast is a nice touch. I've only got positive things to say about the place and all the volunteers, so would definitely return if I'm ever back in Belfast!

I really enjoyed my stay here! I spent 4 nights which is the maximum stay, a system I really like because people are rotating through regularly and it's great for making new friends. It's mostly run by other travellers volunteering their time in order to live here for a while and they're all super friendly and helpful (notable wonderful people: Birdie, Troy, and CJ 🫶)

I had a wonderful stay at the Vagabonds hostel. I had some issues from my end with booking so a massive shoutout to Bob for his help and understanding. The staff were accommodating and friendly. The hostel has a cosy warm ambiance, I loved the interior design and I thought it was a very well-run place. Kudos to the team on handling a security issue (not related to the hostel) calmly and professionally. The rooms were clean and lovely to stay in but perhaps a curtain around each of the beds in the mixed dorm would be good to block out lights (e.g. morning light or other people's phones late at night) and privacy to change. Otherwise, a very enjoyable stay and I'd highly recommend Vagabonds! Thanks :)

Generally what you would expect, we arrived really late in the evening and the 24 hour reception were quick to let us in and get us checked into our room. The only issue I found was that when I requested an iron for my luggage creased wedding shirt we got put on a waiting list for the next morning. I asked again first thing but one did not arrive before we had to leave. A couple extra or an emergency one would have saved me a bit of hassle that morning.

I had a wonderful stay at Global Village. The staff were lovely and welcoming. They helped me out and Thomas provided me with a highlighted map of key places to see around Belfast and great insight into the places which was fantastic! The shower pressure and heat was top tier and the sheets provided were soft. Another bonus was the free breakfast, coffee, tea and pasta and rice! I highly recommend this hostel when visiting Belfast!

I had a terrible experience here. And the reason why is because of the staff, who prioritize their partying priorities over considerations for guests. The result is: the place is loud all night long, with no one enforcing quiet hours, leading to zero sleep. The building is very nice, and the rooms are spacious, but the staff is just far too self-consumed to run it properly...and peacefully. My recommendation: stay away! ...Unless you don't mind losing sleep to loud noise every night you're there.

I can't speak highly enough about this hostel! I felt welcomed from the second I was greeted at the door. The girls are super friendly and helpful. The whole place is decorated in Belfast information and adorable decor that makes you feel super cozy and comfortable. The kitchen and lounge/living room space are fantastic. Being so close to the botanical gardens was fantastic and I definitely recommend going. Not too bad of a walk into town, 15-30 mins walking depending on where you're going. I felt safe the whole time. But bus stops, Uber, and taxis exist too. I was supposed to stay for three nights when an emergency cut my stay short so I had to leave. They refunded me for the two nights I couldn't stay which wasn't necessary but so so so kind and nice of them. There were two toilets and two showers. Four rooms. Female only which was amazing. They provided a locker and the key. The beds were fine for a hostel. The pillows are extremely thin but stacked together they were okay. Free breakfast with gluten free options. I only had time to grab a banana and some oranges but it looked really great! Muffins, bagels, bread, cereals, fruit. If you book direct you get a cheaper rate and a free towel rental! Quiet time after 9pm which was oh so nice as I definitely don't do party hostels.

The details - books, games, a cute stereo, ambient lightning, guitars, etc it’s like everything i’ve dreamed of in a hostel. The only thing is the one shower is either scorching hot and freezing cold, no in between. I think it can be fixed though so don’t worry! i want to come back just to stay here again. You will not regret coming.

Botanical Backpackers is a small scale, cozy, and relaxed hostel. I loved that I felt safe and comfortable as a solo female traveler! Erika is the most kind, friendly, and dedicated host and I can’t imagine you would find any better accommodations if you are staying in Belfast. Highly recommend!
Char L — Google review
I highly recommend this little hostel, it was clean, comfortable and very friendly. The staff were helpful and it felt very safe. There were so many little touches to make it feel warm. It was peaceful and quiet at night and I slept very well. The location is also great, close to Queen's, the botanic gardens and easy access to the city. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Thank you to Erika and the staff.

This was a great place to stay if you want a chill hostel. Erika was awesome, she is so friendly and knowledgeable of the area. She makes you a personalized name tag on your bed which I liked. The hostel is small and the breakfast is limited but if you are looking for a good price this is it. Full kitchen and fridge for cooking your own food. Rooms are a little small but the bed was comfy. It is a little bit of walk from the center city but there is a bus stop around the corner. I took a taxi from the train station and it was on 6.40 pounds. Thank you for the nice stay!

I stayed at the hostel almost two weeks ago as a solo traveller and I really loved the atmosphere ! I instantly felt safe, the other girls were very friendly. Erica was very welcoming, recommended places to visit and she even put out chocolate eggs for Easter ! A wonderful stay :) Selena

Absolutely loved this place! The living area has a calm and welcoming atmosphere, and the dining room exudes a warm, homely charm. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and informative. The room, bed, and bathroom were all clean and well-maintained. There were plenty of thoughtful amenities, including toiletries, hair dryers, complimentary breakfast, laundry services, and free Wi-Fi. The breakfast had lots of options and was inclusive of various dietary needs, which I really appreciated. I got to chat with lots of new people, making the experience even more enjoyable. There’s also a lovely garden area where you can feed the pigeons, which adds a charming touch to the stay.
Disha R — Google review
I cannot rave about this hostel enough. It was cosy, clean, and the perfect amount of social. The kitchen is large and easy to cook in and all of the little touches that Erika has added really make it feel like a home away from home. Highly recommmend!

I regularly stay at All Season's. This b&b is in a great location on this Lisburn road near plenty of great shops and restaurants. The room rate is very reasonable - every room has an en suite bathroom and they are always clean and tidy. WiFi is great for streaming. Breakfast is included and is excellent. The proprietor Theo and family are lovely people and very accommodating - as a result I prefer to stay here instead of the many chain hotels in Belfast. Cannot recommend highly enough.

I stayed here for 2 days while visiting Belfast. Loved the care shown to me as a solo traveler. I had to leave for my flight early in the morning and the owner made sure I had food to carry along and that I was up and about. Small and cozy rooms and a good value for money.
Raghav N — Google review
Pleasant enough rooms, the hole place could be cleaner, especially the bathrooms. Shower did not drain and therefore not usable, alerted the owner, but nothing done. Is in a nice area but long walk from the city centre. Spend the bus fare on upgrading to city centre hotel.

Great place to stay, me and my daughter stayed here for two nights in a twin room, fantastic host, lovely breakfast and he couldn't do enough for us, even bringing up some food for our breakfast next day as we were leaving so early. Great location on the Lisburn road, number 9 bus gets you into town. Taxi back to Belfast international airport was £20. Definitely stay here again, thank you .

Friendly and helpful staff but they seemed to be under considerable pressure with a full house. Breakfast service was very slow, after 35 mins I had to leave without my bacon and tomato as I had appointment. Other guests were told to come back in half an hour but when they returned there were still no tables free. Bathroom needed repairs, fan light and shower head broken. Beds were comfortable and good reception on TV and WiFi. Parking available on site.
Lyndsay D — Google review
The owners are nice and full of regional tips. However, if you have the rooms on the main road they can be noisy. The place is a bit old and rusty, but the rooms are tidy and pretty big. It is located quite far away from Belfast downtown, so you'd better have a car or use public transportation for visiting, which can be a hassle especially for parking. Free parking and Wi-Fi are provided.
Margot — Google review
We stayed 3 nights in March with our friends. We had the 2 rooms in the attic. The electric sockets were very loose and there were rotten floorboards in the bathroom, but no toiletries. The extractor fan didn't work and the switch was covered in sellotape! Bed was clean and comfortable and the room was warm. Our friends had a shower door that was hanging off and a spring sticking out of their bed. Towels were dried on the back of chairs in the dining room! We saw a different waitress every morning and 2 of them didn't seem to understand English. Our order wasn't written down and inevitably they got it wrong! We were greeted by the owner on our arrival but never saw him again. There was never any staff around in the evenings.
