I had not discovered this bakery before but I was walking around and saw a long line on Saturday morning then I had a look in the window at the baked goods and I understood why there was a long line. We had a bomboloni, chocolate swirl and some sort of apple pastry and also the honey and chilli focaccia and all were out of this world delicious. They not only look amazing but they tasted amazing and were just as good if not better than the pastries we discovered in France. We will be back, we would highly recommend and we are so pleased to have this local business near us. A must visit if staying in the Ormeau road area.

Lovely local bakery. Their Guinness bread is grand and my whole family’s favorite. Cinnamon roll is the best I’ve ever tried. Staff are friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to try more of their pastries 🥐.

I ordered a vegan cake for my daughter’s first birthday. It was delicious , looked great and the staff went out of their way to wrap it nicely . It was everything we wanted and more. We enjoyed it thank you very much.

First time visit. Honestly; not impressed. Bought a selection; avoid the rhubarb and custard topped slice - heavy dense flavourless cake. The cinnamon roll was nice but too sweet. The honey bun was ok with no honey flavour present with the salt granules the only hit of flavour. Disappointed after queuing up.. back to Bakari.

They had a vegan pain au chocolat and a Malaysian curry roll which were both very tasty - probably the best vegan pain au chocolat I've had! Friends say their baked options were tasty and the iced coffee was good too.

So good I came to this neat little cafe twice while visiting Belfast. Just for their amazing coffee and terribly wicked caramel slice, but the service here is also next level. Smiling, friendly faces from the moment you walk in the door, attentive, prompt service, all with a good dash of cheeky Irish humour thrown in.

Had a perfect brunch outing at French Village Café & Bistro! The food was absolutely delicious — fry-ups and French toast are a must-try. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and they also serve really nice smoothies that go perfectly with brunch. A lovely spot in Belfast for a relaxing meal.

Really enjoyed a slow Saturday morning breakfast here. The cinnamon swirl was delicious warm. We had the Veggie Fry and the French Fry. Coffee was good and smoothie was delicious. Slightly confused by the pancake, potato bread combination in the breakfast but individually all delicious!

The crispy chicken sandwich has got to be the most overpriced item in the country. Absolutely shocking. Still in disbelief. Three slender goujons in two bits of bread, with a slither of coleslaw. £14. Wild

Lovely place, good food, fair prices. We were here on a Saturday morning, cafe was not too crowded. Service was still quite slow and didn’t bother to check in after a while if we wanted order something else. Still probably the best cafe in this area, would recommend for sure!

The food has always been great here, but the place was recently refurbished and I think they've removed a lot of the character from the place. Used to feel homey and relaxing but now it puts me in mind of an American diner. Menu has also been reduced so there isn't as much choice in either food or drinks, though as said, what's there is still good.

Despite all the efforts of the staff on the day, we had an average experience. There was only one staff member on a Sunday afternoon helping customers at the tables, and they sure looked overwhelmed. The food was average, the flavours were good, but both the bread of our sandwich and the sponge of the cakes tasted a bit stale.

Went in with my 12 year old daughter for a little break whilst out shopping. Couldn’t rate the staff highly enough, very attentive and made sure we were well catered for, even in what seemed to be a busy time of day for the shop! Will definitely be back! Especially for tea and cake! Thank you

Lovely patisserie, the staff was really nice and they selection of cakes is delightful. They have a range of products to take in or take away. Also, there is available on the menu afternoon tea, sounds good so I may try it one day.

Not happy with the order we got from here, the pastries used to be the best I wld say but now the worst after financial fiasco of the company. Size is cut down to half and very dry sponge. The fruit on n inside was rotten n leftover from the fruit shop. Disappointed 😥

Needed to leave a quick little review for the Madagascar Vanilla donut. Simple, fluffy, and delicious 😋 I think it was one of the best donuts I've ever had! Very impressed, I even bought it towards the end of the day.

One word: MMMMMMM!!!!!!! Coffee and all donuts are to die for. Staff are so helpful and kind. Very enthusiastic about their products, and rightly so because everything there is beautiful. Have never sat in, only done takeaway, but the atmosphere in the place feels great. Also has brilliant vegan options. Would highly recommend the hibiscus donut (pinky coloured one). Their jam donut also is 10/10.

Found this place on Google Maps. Best donut I've had in a long time. Had coffee, which was also nice and peppermint tea, which was freshly brewed from leaves. The £5 coffee and donut deal is great - might seem a little expensive but it was definitely worth it. The staff were incredibly friendly and chatty too, which was nice. I would highly recommend this place.

Incredible doughnuts! They were so fluffy, light, and tasty! I had the salted caramel and pistachio doughnut, whereas my partner had the cinnamon sugar one. The coffee was also really good.

Finally made it to LCP and it is definitely worth a trip. Made it just before closing so unable to sit in but the staff were super friendly and very helpful and willing to explain all the pastries that were left. We ended up buying quite a few as guests were coming for dinner. Finally somewhere that takes the time and puts in the effort with quality ingredients to make such a delicious array of patisserie. It really does make such a difference! I think it’s important to recognise independent small businesses that go the extra mile to make unique beautiful food . If I didn’t live so far away this would be a regular sweet treat spot for sure ! Can’t wait to come back to sit in some day

You really can’t go wrong picking any of the pastries. I’ve tried a few and they’re all truly amazing! The coffee is also very well made and pairs wonderfully with the pastries. The staff were also super helpful and friendly. Make sure to bring cash to tip them as they don’t accept card tips 10/10

I am so happy to find this amazing gem right on the doorstep, no more trips to France! Coffee and patisseries and amazing and the staff are friendly. I've been in for sit in, take away and 'no sits takeaway'; if anything, more sitting is needed more I would be happy sitting on the floor.

Had the chocolate éclair, and tried some of the cream in the pistachio one my mum had. Loved the cream in both éclairs, the dough wasn't my absolute favourite, but not bad. The tiramichoux(?) was delicious! A perfect hint of coffee in the cream(?) inside, not overpowering, and the dough was amazing! Same for the strawberry custard round croissant thingy. Delicious custard, so soft and creamy, loved it. The girls were super kind too! Would recommend:)

Where do i even start, this place was phenomenal! Staff are so genuinely friendly and made sure i had everything i needed. I’m very fussy with coffee and the beans they use are some of the best! Pastries where beautifully presented and some of the nicest tasting I’ve ever had… new favourite place for a coffee and bun :)

The patisseries are amazing and to die for and I’d rave about the food to anyone who will listen! The staff are usually lovely, was in Thursday there (14/8/25) and the two girls on were super lovely to everyone and supportive of each other during a rush without faltering on their service they were delivering. Honestly, loveliest girls and I hope to be served by them every time! Have had one time where we came after someone who must’ve known the staff there well in the queue and we just got stuck trying to order while they were still chatting, we asked for four things and were just instantly told the price and the card machine loaded without being asked if we wanted anything else and went to grab what we asked for, we waited for the girl to load our package our products up and said we would also like 8 of those wee ball things (to die for just not going to attempt what the proper name is) and they just said sure while continuing the conversation but forgot when she reached for them and we had to repeat 8 of them. It’s the only issue we’ve ever had here and to be honest if it was our first time or we didn’t have as many good and cracking encounters the rest of the time, it would be really off putting as it wasn’t enjoyable just standing there feeling like we were intruding on their conversation while they were trying to serve us. But bar this one tiny issue, I rave about the place and the food to everyone I can rave about it too.

Have been going here occasionally here for a long time. It's always best to get there in the morning to get the fresh pastries. The crème pastries are beautiful too. Amazing selection and definitely the best desserts in the city. The patisserie chefs have serious skills here. Customer service is exceptional too. Well done and keep up the good work! 👌

Absolutely stunning birthday cake, made exactly how I requested it. Such attention to detail and just delicious, it was perfect! (FAO: edible daisies added by myself, not included in order)

We ordered a Victoria sponge blue smudge cake for a christening and it was absolutely delicious! So many people said that it was the nicest cake they have ever tasted. Great looking cake, taste and value for money. We were delighted and will order again very soon!

The bakery is hidden away on a trading estate, but take nothing away from the patisserie it produces. They produced a super cake for my daughters wedding.

I had ordered my wedding cake from FV last year and it was absolutely beautiful in detail but being the bride, I was so busy I never actually managed to eat my own wedding cake (I heard it was amazing however), so I ordered a birthday cake for my daughters birthday party yesterday and it was the most amazing cake I’ve ever eaten!! Everyone loved it, the jam was the perfect tartness and the buttercream was sweet to compliment it, the sponge itself was the softest cake I’ve ever eaten. Plus the piped inscription was beautifully done and placed. The price was amazing and very competitive to mainstream stores for cakes as you get a very good sized cake and it is all freshly made (much better tasting and presented than shop bought) The store itself is well kept, clean, and an overall good atmosphere as the staff are very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely order again for any cake- based event needs!

This is a bakery, you can order your cake online and come pick it up at the bakery. They also have other pastries, these you can always come in and buy.

A cute little bakery my aunt and I visited while walking to the train station, I picked up a packet of potato farls for my mom, and a small custard tart for myself, the custard had more of a flan consistency then I’m used to but it wasn’t overly sweet and the farls are thick and soft, I’m excited to give them to my mom and it was an interesting and cheap stop through Belfast.

Quite literally the worst breakfast of my entire adult life. The bread top was rock-hard (and the non-burned part was nearly inedible), the coffee tasted like water gone bad, the butter was tasteless, and the bacon was overly salted (not counting the large fatty parts). I'm gobsmacked by how awful this is.

I was intrigued by this place when I saw they sold filled soda bread. Being an American I had never had this dish before so I got it with the egg and bacon. I was very impressed the lady cooked the egg right in front of me, but other than this she spent about 5 minutes talking to a friend of hers before making my breakfast. I was in no rush but it did seem casual to me. The soda bread was burnt, so I will likely not be eating filled soda bread again!

Fantastic place with great prices! It's a small bakery, but we bought a nice loaf of tasty bread there. We were thrilled to find freshly baked pizzas for a very low price. We bought 2 pizzas and they were delicious!! Thank you!

Bought some lovely looking rhubarb crumble individual buns to takeaway. The rhubarb hadnt been stewed and was so tough we had to leave on the side of our plates. They had charged £2.25 each for these and they were smaller than the size of your palm. Very disappointing and overpriced.If the price had been displayed I probably wouldn't have bothered since they were quite small.

What a beautiful place for lunch or dinner. We came for lunch starting with a lovely cocktail. Next was a salad, simple but exactly how it should be. We will be back for dinner.

Second time visiting in a few months and had a great experience both times. It is more on the pricier side but the service is worth it - had the same server both times and he went the extra mile to make our visit enjoyable.

This is a lovely wee spot. Staff were very friendly and polite. There's a nice ambiance to the place. The Eggs Royale were lovely - definitely recommended.

We had our post wedding dinner celebration for 30 people after the ceremony in city hall. I can't praise Parisien highly enough, the service and food were impeccable. The process of booking was really straightforward and there was a great choice of food options even for a larger group and a great kids menu too for our smaller guests. We had so many compliments from our guests on everything from the food, staff, drinks and such a handy location too. We've been for dinner before and will definitely be back, highly recommend the afternoon tea too.

Attended a wedding here at the end of October. What a fantastic day! Food was absolutely fantastic, service second to none, and the ambiance and atmosphere were really good. The only gripe was the price of cocktails, but as it was a wedding, we pushed the boat out anyway.

We had our wedding reception in Parisien yesterday and couldn't praise the venue and staff highly enough. We were extremely well looked after from start to finish, the food was excellent and the service quick and efficient. The feedback from our guests was exactly the same. They were thoroughly impressed and really enjoyed themselves. Thanks again for everything. You really made our day special.

While looking for a dessert place on Google maps, we found this place and ordered a few desserts. The desserts we tried were tasty and can be said to be good or above average. There was a minor service error regarding the americano we ordered, but it would be quite appropriate to say that the drinks were average. We saw only one employee regarding the service and he seemed really tired and trying very hard. There seems to be a lack of personnel. We think that the interior decoration is very successful in terms of atmosphere. It may be a little difficult to say that they are very good in terms of price and performance, but it is a place that can be experienced.

I finally stopped by after always seeing a queue outside, and I can see why it’s popular. The food was really tasty, and the tea and coffee were great—definitely a strong spot for brunch. That said, I did find it a bit on the pricey side for what you get, and the atmosphere felt a little off—not quite as warm or welcoming as I expected. Still, it’s a nice place to check out if you’re in the area and looking for a good coffee or bite to eat.

Visited at peak brunch/lunch time. Entered and were met quickly and the chap took my name and said it would be a 15 min wait and could wait outside. The place was packed. After 15 mins we got a table and got seated. It took another 15 mins for another chap to come and take our order and he looked like he didn’t want to be there and barely said a word. The menu was exciting with different variations of some familiar dishes. Food came after a short wait from another person and was really well presented and good portions. She was a bit more chatty. Overall it’s a popular place and I can see why lots visit. The service for me was really hit or miss, the table was very sticky and I’m not sure it was cleaned down properly before we got to it. The food and drinks are the highlight if you decide to visit.

I've been debating whether to write this review or not but it’s been niggling at me all weekend so I decided to go for it. I've always enjoyed going here for food, I usually got the chicken salad which I loved but is sadly no longer on the menu. I know it is mostly a brunch place but I don’t like eggs at all and 90% of the menu has some sort of egg in it. The other 10% are sweet items so if I want something savoury, I’ve to go with an egg dish. That’s no problem, last time I was here I got the green goddess on sourdough and swapped the eggs for halloumi and it was lovely. So I went to order my food and politely asked could I swap out the eggs on the Hot Honey Mess for halloumi and was told “No, we don’t do swaps”. I was a bit shocked and explained I was able to the last time I was here and there had been no issue with that. She said “we don’t do swaps anymore but I can ask the chef if you want?” You could tell that she didn’t want to but I said “that would be great thanks”. Then she came back and said “no we can’t do that but you can order halloumi as a side if you want”. I said I’d have another wee think about it. It really threw me off because I wasn’t being unreasonable - they had no problem with it before and I’ve gone to other places and they had no problem either. The meal was £13 and to order the halloumi (3 pieces) as extra was another £4. £17 is pricey for lunch! I understand eggs and halloumi aren’t exactly a straight swap cost-wise but I would have been happy to pay a little extra to make up the difference or just give me 1 piece of halloumi instead of the 2 poached eggs. Or just let me know what would be a fair swap and I’d go with that. When the server came back I asked, knowing the answer, “so if I don’t get the eggs, are you still going to charge me the full price?” She said yes. I said “okay, I’ll just order that and have the eggs on the side please”. It really annoyed me. I know it was something so small but I felt hard done by and that I was being difficult but I wasn’t. I also had 40 mins or more to stew over it while we waited for our food to arrive! I know they are busy but that is quite a wait. Also they gave me mint tea instead of normal tea but that’s easily done and no big deal. So my mam ended up having to eat 4 eggs in total and although I did enjoy my lunch (minus the eggs), I was left with a sour taste in my mouth. I will not be returning as a result of this. I think maybe General Merchants have gotten too big for their boots and should think about their customers more.

Very hit and miss these days. I go on a regular basis on a Saturday morning for a brunch treat. I've noticed the prices getting progressively higher over the last year and understandably with all going on in the world. But unfortunately the service has gone down or inconsistent at best. Examples: Ordered a coffee immediately when sat down and then 5 mins later ordered food. The food arrived before the coffee. Last week I ordered the benny special and it came for barely lukewarm. The table beside me who arrived after me had their food and coffees after I ordered. Other weeks have been great but I have to say between the price increases and the poor service my weekly visits will be no more.

A lovely spot for breakfast or lunch. The menu offers tasty options,especially if you like vegetarian meals. It has a nice atmosphere with very pleasant staff. It is a bit pricey, but I would say worth it.

A proper Belfast institution. The fry is like a fine vintage. It gets better as the years go on. The consistency in food and service is unparalleled.

We had a lovely Sunday brunch. We ordered the hashbrown dish and added crispy bacon. It was delicious. The poached eggs were cooked perfectly. Bacon cooked extra crispy as requested but not to the point where they were difficult to cut. The hashbrown I think may have been slightly overcooked, but it was lovely nonetheless. If I could have given a 4.5 star rating, I would have. We were served by, hoping it's the correct spelling, Danae. She was so sweet, professional, and attentive. She is an asset to your team. I ordered a flat white with coconut milk and chocolate on top. I love a good flat white, and I've gotten from various different cafés and this this was up there. My partner ordered boring breakfast tea haha, which he enjoyed. We were in a while back, but there was a bit of a queue, so we ordered to go from the deli, a Croque Monsieur, which is a ham & Irish white cheddar, parmesan cheese sauce on FV sourdough. Honestly, this was banging. They have a store where you can buy various items like jams, sauces, coffee beans, sourdough bread and buns, for example. You can also order cakes for special occasions. The store overall had a nice vibe, and the staff were lovely. We will be back.

Relaxed atmosphere with polite, friendly and helpful staff. So many food and drink options to choose from. The menu is simple and not overwhelming. The food and drinks are brought to you quite quickly, which is great. The price is fair and reasonable as everything is fresh. There are also take-out options. Thank you team😀

The croque monsieur was delicious, crispy and made with quality ingredients, though it didn’t feel particularly outstanding. I loved the vibe, it was very comfortable and cozy.

A really nice place to have lunch on the Lisburn Road Belfast. I ordered the French Toast with extra Bacon and a Cappuccino. Toast was a thick doorstop of a chunk of sweet bread that was crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside. I got extra bacon as the pup was with me. You probably wouldn’t need extra on your own. Cappuccino was creamy and full of flavour. Perfect brunch! I would highly recommend 😎

Highly recommended! It’s honestly the best brunch spot we found while living in Belfast. It became our wee family’s go-to at the weekends, and we were in all the time. The portions are generous and great value for money, and their homemade cakes and wee bakes are just class — proper tasty! What really makes it special are the people. The owner, the barista, and every member of staff are genuinely lovely — always welcoming, friendly, and smiling, which gives the place such a warm vibe. Even now that we’ve moved away, we still talk about it and miss it loads. When we’re back in Belfast, this will be the very first place we go — no question about it！All the best！❤️

Awh man this place is such a wee gem to find on the Lisburn Road in Belfast. Service was great, they juggled a few people around so we could get a table. We had 3 different coffees, all delicious and very well made, my coconut milk one was fantastic. We tried their spicy breast bap, could have eaten 3 of them they were so good. Definitely will be back tomorrow morning before our hospital appointment for their cinnamon buns and more yummy coffees.

First time trying anything from this place, I'd return for sure. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The menu sounded good and I'd love to try other things from it and hopefully sit in sometime but I got a Buddha bowl to go. I thought the portion was worth the £11 and it was very tasty. I'd definitely recommend this place

We had an amazing lunch at Brew and Bake. I had the pulled pork hash and the other half had cheese sandwich. Coffee was good. Will be back for cinnamon rolls next time

Amazing coffee and the bakes are brilliant, I can't wait to try more. Unfortunately the bakery location is a bit cramped and seemingly always busy, (which is great for them but not my vibe) regardless I really enjoyed everything I tried and will probably just take things to go again or try the brunch location next.

The women who was serving in the morning of 1st September 2025 I think she had a English accent , she was top tier she was so quick and she was very polite and her customer service was 10/10 just for being severed for less than 1 minute she was class 😁

This place is really expensive for a bakery. Unfortunately we can't get a booth because Greggs allows the people sleep in the booths. Every single table with rubbish or dirty Customers having to clean dirty tables that they staff are walking past and ignoring Staff need to learn to clean as they go. Not one staff member approached this man after been told. I'm all for helping the homeless but this is Gregg's not a homeless shelter.

My husband had booked for a friend and I to go for Festive Afternoon Tea. Even though the booking was made in person and my husband witnessed it being written into a diary, there was no reservation when I arrived. Additionally, the Festive Afternoon Tea, for which we had a Gift Voucher, was "sold out" and we had some substitutions. The food however was yummy, we seemed to be served by the manager, who was very attentive to us, bringing us top ups of tea and coffee; but the visit was slightly dampened by the initial issues experienced.

If I could rate this zero I would. We've been to other locations of this patisserie and its never a bad experience. We went on a Sunday afternoon for a sit in meal and the place wasn't packed. It took too long for someone to get our order. I actually had to call the attention of a wait staff to get my order and was rudely answered back. The staff was not only uninterested but was such in a hurry to take orders. Then the order came in, oh boy it was awful, just look at the picture attached. A brioche French toast for £8.50 looking like a 3 y/o prepared it?! DISAPPOINTED TO SAY THE LEAST. Service subpar and overpriced menu. Better to just get a take away box.

Loved our afternoon tea. Visiting Belfast and wanted to have afternoon tea. For £25 we got tea for two and we even had leftovers. Food was delicious, atmosphere was lovely and our waitress was wonderful. The earl grey tea was delicious as well. Highly recomend.

Service was quite slow even though the cafe was pretty much empty today. Called in for afternoon tea and although our coffee was brought to the table quite quickly by the time our sandwiches etc arrived we had nearly finished our coffee. Ordered a second cup of coffee and it never appeared. Had to reorder with a different waitress. Other than that the food was enjoyable and the coffee was lovely

Only been to this one (Donegall square) once, but knew the menu from other places. Only about a 5 minute walk from their other Belfast place, but was a lot quieter. Quick service, friendly staff and lovely food. Can't fault it.

Great location and very friendly staff! The desserts are good quality and the beverages too. Just expected a little bit more from the hot chocolate, but it's a great place for a cozy tea time.

We went to Patisserie Valerie for brunch. I loved it. The room is lovely and the food was great. I had their Earl Grey Blue Flower tea with it, which I loved so much that I bought before leaving, so I can have it at home as well. I'll be definitely going back there! 💖

Got my daughter 18th birthday cake from J-Bird bakery and to say we where over the moon with the cake is the perfect word, they did exactly what we asked for and the cake was every bit as define as it looked, so moist and the flavour in every bite, can’t thank everyone involved enough who baked and decorated this wonderful cake just another beautiful special surprise that made my daughters day so special. I have been getting from J-Bird for at least the last ten years and they never disappoint. They always taste fresh and are clearly made with the highest quality ingredients. They aren’t cheap but they are well worth the money. I have also ordered a cake here for my Father’s birthday and it was beautiful. Staff are always so friendly too. I can’t recommend this place enough.

J-Bird did our wedding cake June 2023. It was amazing! We knew it would be as my whole family are die-hard j-bird cupcake fans and we purchase them for all occasions (or any excuse to really). Excellent bakery. Small in size but the variety is amazing. Pies for £1.40 are great, and pie in a bap (not for everyone apparently) is the perfect lunch. Pastries and cream buns are lovely too. Friendly staff always have a smile and are pleasant. Great local bakery, these new bakeries just don't compare in any way.

Very nice home bakery in Finaghy that does cakes, buns, pies, pasties, sausage rolls, hot food, sandwiches, tea and coffee. There is a cash machine beside the shop. I'd recommend Finaghy as a place to stop in for a bite to eat, if you're waiting for a patient in the City hospital. It's only 10 minutes drive from the hospital.

Frances on the front desk was incredible. I've worked in customer service 18 plus years and Frances has it all- Patience, empathy and a good mentality of putting customer first. She really helped me through a stressful situation where my Rev card wouldn't work. After I resolved that after 10 minutes on my end, Frances helpfully scanned my items back through promptly and efficiently. If I was the senior manager there, id promote her ASAP. Really efficient service even when busy so well done all the staff. I love Greggs food, particularly the veggie bake and veggie sausage rolls and the tea and coffee. I used to go to overpriced coffee shops who avoid paying UK taxes (boo! boo!) It's great Greggs have (finally) come to northern Ireland and provided somewhere you can go for a snack WITHOUT paying extortionate prices.

The sourdough-style base on their sweet pastries adds an extra layer of flavour I can't find elsewhere, it's hard to drive into Belfast without stopping! Wish them the best with reopening after the fire, typical it had to be one of our best businesses!

Bought both savoury and sweet. Vanilla Slices and Spandauers great. Normally the Ryebread is also good, but I bought a couple at Inns Corner-market last Saturday and bought loafs were severely underrated and very very claggy, not like they use to be. Quite disappointed 😞

Delicious bread and pastries - the latter especially are the best in the city. The chocolate babka is outrageously good - salty, sweet, crisp and soft - get there early before it sells out! There’s a wee bench outside if you want to eat there but Custom House square/the river Lagan not far away.

Was walking about Belfast, and glad I poked my head in. I have had the Purple Wheat loaf, delicious as toast. Might try as a sandwich. Also almond croissant was huge and tastey.

Update: So I’d booked the sourdough starter for a date when they subsequently decided to close for the holidays. One of the staff remembered my name and where I work. She rang even climbed the never ending stairs to our office to let me know. Customer care well above and beyond. Magic cafe and wonderful staff!!

Absolute gem of a spot. The food was some of the best we've had at a lunch place in a while, great filling ratios and piping hot. Not to mention it tasted brilliant too. Only took them minutes to get it to the table. The lady recommended a replacement filling for my pinini which was such a great shout and the gent got cokes from the back of the fridge for us, not unnoticed and such a lovely touch. Hospitality was top tier and we'll certainly be back! Ps. Wee buns are bangin too 👌 get yourself one

I passed this cafe recently and noticed a lot of people sitting outside so I made a mental note to visit when I was in the area again. I wasn’t disappointed, the interior is surprisingly large with comfortable seating. It’s very clear from the start, they are very passionate about their food, amazing display of freshly baked pastries and a broad range of healthy offerings in the sandwich cabinet. I opted for a healthier breakfast (porridge) and a bacon sandwich, delivered with a smile. Can’t recommend this enough, great spot 👍

I asked Bluebells to cater a small party I had. Could not have been more impressed. First class selection of hot and cold food which everyone loved and asked where it came from. Arrived Sunday morning T 8:15…google says it’s open…but it wasn’t. After a 30 min walk from my hotel…a little sad. After 15 minutes of waiting…they finally open at 8:30 on this Sunday. So the hours for Sunday were wrong. They open around 9am. Helpful ladies inside got me some local favorites…ham and cheese and the famous sausage roll.

3rd time getting an order from them and it is missing something from it maybe if they payed attention instead of talking to others while on the phone.

I’ve been using Ian’s for over 20 years and will continue. Normally great. Went in for lunch today. Chicken curry special looked as if they were trying to eke out one final portion . Never a great idea.

Great for a sit-in fry and has a great range of bakery items. Sausage rolls, scone and cream donuts are my particular favourites. Always seems to be really busy so do prepare for a bit of a queue at times.

I go here every week for our weekly treat. Great range of fresh cream and plain buns. Staff are very helpful and friendly. A few seats outside. NO inside seating. I can't recommend enough!

I am leaving a review specifically for the Guest House portion of this business, as I did not have the pleasure of checking out the bakery or deli due to an employee holiday. I actually stayed there for two days with my girlfriend back in mid-July--which was apparently a very exciting time to visit Belfast. Upon arriving at the guest house, I called our contact and someone rushed out to meet me, give me a key, and provide a tour of the premises. And then they were off, and we were left to enjoy our little room. And I'm understating it a bit--the room was actually fairly large and quite comfortable, with a window that opened onto the street. We had some neighbors in another room, and, admittedly, the soundproofing left something to be desired, but this place is a guest house, right, now a hotel. The room had a sink, a refrigerator, some snacks for us, towels...It was nice. There was a kitchen upstairs, but we really did not use that at all. There were also two bathrooms (I believe), both of which had a shower (I believe!). We only utilized the one, and it too was fairly spacious and clean (except for when one of our neighbors decided to trim his beard into the sink and then just...left the hair). Overall, I had no complaints about this stay except for I didn't realize that it would be an employee holiday when we showed up. It would have been nice to check out the bakery/deli proper, however, that really isn't a fair complaint--workers should take holidays as needed. Thanks for the stay! Sorry for leaving this review so late!

Yeah Ok I ASKED for seasoned Cajun chicken (1 first photo) I received (2nd photo) I called the restaurant they said they didn’t get my ‘drift’ and will send another To have now sent again the wrong toastie.. gave them a call once again , there’s no sauce in the second toastie ‘ there is love is bright pink and I cut it myself ‘ to have the phone put down on me, I call back and asked will this be fixed? I abs love this bakery. They always have good deals on and their spicy tomatoe soup is gorgeous I also love the chicken soup. Sandwiches are always so fresh and packed out and their coleslaw is the best coleslaw iv ever had. They do great paninis and great wraps, Frys are cooked to perfection and the staff is all so lovely helpful and can't do enough.

This is the best bakery about the road. Their coleslaw is just great. They do everything my usuals are southern fried chicken bacon and cheese panini with southwest sauce and coleslaw on the side its my fav and their baked potatoes and their soups are always gorgeous. Explained that it’s my lunch for work and I’ve now got nothing. Didn’t show any compassion. Left empty handed.Really disappointing usually the staff are great. Only take’s one to change your mind. Visited on Sunday 22nd Dec at 1pm. The state of the place was disgusting. Every table dirty with food particles all over and the floor covered in food. No napkins in dispenser. Looked as if no cleaning had been done sinve the Saturday. The food itself was good but the disgusting surroundings spoiled the experience.

Trainee left by himself on the counter to handle a huge queue, tried his best but needed assistant which never arrived. Multiple staff walking past but didn't intervene. Well done him for putting up with a lack of support. Toilets vile.

We chose Gemma/Johns cakes for our wedding and they were absolutely amazing. So much that any birthday/celebration cakes now have to be John bakes cakes! Their sponge and frosting is to die for. Gemma and John are also lovely to deal with :)

I have been going to this bakery for many years, i travel across town to johns bakery as the cakes and buns are top quality! Their breads and scones are also top drawer, they also have a great range of hot and cold food , pies sandwich’s and sausage rolls to take away! Fantastic staff, delicious cakes, I live in Scotland and have been ordering birthday cakes from this bakery for the past 5/6 years. I’d rather pay for a day trip to come collect these delicious cakes than order and pay for a less than mediocre cake over here. Cannot fault this bakery at all and I’d definitely give it 100**** star rating rather than a measly 5* star rating, my day trip is already booked for end of this month (January 2020) for my sons 13th birthday cake and I cannot wait for it to come.
