Chili and Curry offers a diverse menu of Northern Indian cuisine with a twist of Chinese and Thai fusion dishes. The cozy venue quickly fills up due to its popularity. The attentive wait staff ensures that customers enjoy a satisfying dining experience. The portion sizes are generous, providing good value for the price paid. Dishes such as Hakka noodles, veggie samosas, Naravtan korma, and naan are highly recommended.
Delicious, cozy, and welcoming restaurant! Absolutely adore this place—you can feel the love when you walk in! The food is AMAZING and the staff is wonderful! LOVED the chicken tikka masala, the samosa chaat, and garlic naan (perfect amount of softness and crispiness)! Will definitely be back!!😍 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I’ve been going here for years, the food is always consistent, and delicious. The atmosphere is so cozy. The service is great as well, you are always treated kindly and with care 😊
Bianca L — Google review
High Fives! i was traveling down the road, just minding my own my own affairs, when chili and curry caught me unaware. i am glad i followed my instincts, this place is a gem! my order: chicken vindaloo with a request for spicy. and drums of heaven. i found something to do for the 1/2 hour estimated time while they prepared this fabulous food. always take it as a good sign they make the freshest stewed delicacies. who am i to say they are the best? i am just gonna do what we all gotta do, Eat! but i can for certain say they did an excellent job making the food, and undoubtedly care for every dish that leaves their kitchen. when i am back next year for work. i will return a few times to check other offerings from this top notch establishment.
Chili C — Google review
Ate here with a friend for dinner last night and honestly everything was delicious. The drums of heaven were fantastic. We got chicken tikka masala, white rice, hakka noodles with chicken, bread bowl and szechuan chicken and it was all very good. The price was also extremely affordable. Will def be going back!
Jeremiah F — Google review
Visited last month on 7/11 with a friend. I've known about this restaurant for some time and was on my list. The food and service were exceptionally great. The place was busy since it was a Friday evening. The cuisine is South Asian fusion drawing flavors from countries beyond India. We were glad we came here. I would visit again and recommend it to others!
N S — Google review
The food here was so good! I miss Delhi food and food here tasted just like Delhi food!!! The staff were so professional! Do try their Momos and Fried rice!!!
Jaya M — Google review
First time here and I will definitely give it another shot. We order the chicken vindaloo, fried shrimp with garlic and fresh chili , fried fish fillet in spicy oyster sauce. The reason why I gave it 4 stars is because the chicken vindaloo is a disappointment. This was the first time I tried vindaloo and it wasn’t spicy at all but more sour. I was def not a fan of that. If it was more spicy, def A plus. Overall the food was awesome and I will try it again !

We love chili & curry so much! Consistent and so reasonably priced.

If you're on the hunt for a culinary adventure, look no further than New Golden Buffet! This vibrant eatery offers an impressive selection of over 180 dishes spanning American, Chinese, and Japanese cuisines. With 13 aisles filled with mouthwatering options like boneless pork spare ribs, beef and broccoli, and crispy fried dumplings, there's something to satisfy every palate.
Wow, love this place. I’ve been there multiple times and all the times i’ve been there it was really good. The food tastes really good and there are a lot of variety of foods. I’ve dine in and also take out, and the prices are really good. It’s really worth what you pay. The employees are really nice to you and they’re always checking on you. I really like how whenever you do a take out, if your tray pases the 13 dollars, they give you a free drink! My family and i really love this buffet and is currently my 3rd favorite one.
Yuna K — Google review
It’s a Asian buffet with a lot of Japanese and Chinese food options. They have a variety of seafood options including oysters. That was good. The buffet price is 24$ per adult and drink is separate. Vegetarian options are there too. Desserts selection is okay. Food taste is okay too.
Binay N — Google review
They had a decent amount of food, good selection except I wish they had more crab legs out . My husband had stayed behind after my friend and I ate and we stepped out quick for a smoke .so I'm guessing the staff had assumed or scared we would skip out on the check which wasn't the case because my husband stayed at the table and was eating still lol but they had put our check at the table once they saw my friend and I step out .it felt so uncomfortable and very rude honestly.my husband was at the table when they brought the check too and we weren't even finished.it felt uncomfortable a little.i understand stuff like that happens and some people are just dirtbags like that .but it wasn't our intention.we just wanted a cigarette after we ate all that food lol. Otherwise experience was okay !
Jennifer G — Google review
Great first experience! Interesting combination of soups, sushi, dumplings, starters, noodles and desserts! Would definitely recommend this to people on Long Island in the Suffolk county!
Pallavi S — Google review
Really buffet. You're not paying premium but getting a lot of seafood rawbar, cooked food and really good deserts. Definitely worth it.
H C — Google review
When I first started going with my family, we loved it and only chose to visit this buffet. We visited yesterday and it was so disappointing. Food was okay, when they actually had some items out like sushi or crab. Some items like the pizza was just awful and other items were hit or miss. The worst part was the Individual who was replenishing the food station. I had asked about one item and all I received was a dirty look. After that, it was a pile of dirty looks and mumbling something under her breath. I gave a smile and a thank you to unmatch the energy. For the price increase you get poorer food quality and miserable people.
Samantha H — Google review
The price was about only $15 per person. We went on a weekday. The food was worth the price. Too many chicken dishes. They should add more seafood. We recommend the Hot & Sour Soup, Baby Clams, and Sushi. Decent dessert options. The place was very clean and not too crowded.
Kina N — Google review
Sadly price went up and quality went down.... I was eating from the raw bar. They ran out of oysters and had clams. And I asked if they can replenish oysters. Waitress said not until the whole tray disappears nothing will be replenished. It was near closing time for 2 hours I waited and I did not get my money's worth. Food is blan. And crab legs had no salt.

Indian restaurant
Namaste is an Indian restaurant that offers classic Indian cuisine in a cozy setting with a garden patio. The restaurant, which opened its second location in Park Slope in 2015, specializes in authentic Punjabi dishes and northern Indian cuisine. Guests can enjoy a daily lunch buffet featuring traditional favorites like chicken tikka masala, tandoori chicken, lamb vindaloo, and an array of freshly baked breads.
I had the most tasty Samosa chaat with mango lassi. Their milk tea is very rich in flavor as well. Will come back again
Yasmine S — Google review
Absolutely the worst Indian buffet I’ve ever had. The food was worse than worst — cold, stale, and completely tasteless. Minimal variety and shockingly, breads aren’t even included. What kind of buffet does that? Only saving grace was the server, who was polite and kind — but sadly, no good service can make up for food this bad. Dhaba NYC is on a whole different level. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place.
Dilsahaj S — Google review
As I’m an asian, rlly love these flavorful dishes. The real authentic Indian taste. Everything was well-prepared. By the way the staff was rlly friendly and polite. 10/10
May M — Google review
I have visited so many times and their food has always been consistently very good! The service has been good every time and the atmosphere is alright - I prefer the patio! I love their makhani chicken and naan bread :) Its one of my favorite indian food eateries - and I certainly love its location since you can enjoy a nice walk around the area after your meal 👍🏻 Would definitely keep going back and taking more friends there 🌝
Ana I — Google review
Amazing customer service. Everyone is so sweet here and their food is amazing. I got the butter chicken with a white rice on the side and garlic none 100/10 well, come again!!🥰🥰
Aaliyah C — Google review
Love it here. Recommend the Peshawari naan. The lamb and goat is tender and flavorsome. Gravies are rich but not oily. And the Taj Mahal beer is the cherry on top
Joel H — Google review
I really like the goat curry. Good amount and I always ask for it to be a little spicy. One of the times I ordered it, and it was a bit more tart than my usual order, and they gladly remade it for me. Really appreciated that.
Jenifer D — Google review
The atmosphere here complements the food perfectly. This compact establishment stays spotless and charming with a city atmosphere. Employees here show remarkable courtesy and capability. Their cooking stands out in my lifetime of eating out. Visit this spot without hesitation.

Hibachi Grill & Supreme Buffet is a must-visit destination for food lovers seeking an expansive dining experience. This casual buffet spans an impressive 10,000 square feet and features ten diverse buffet bars that cater to every palate. Guests can indulge in a delightful array of Japanese and Chinese cuisine, including fresh sushi and succulent crab legs, alongside American favorites like tender roast beef and crispy buffalo wings.
Very good food, the only buffet I go to! The only detail I don't like are the waiters. When you pay, they demand the highest possible tip. If you don't give them what they want, they'll come and ask for more money. They might even give you a dirty look if you don't give them what they want. So they should fix this problem with the waiters.
Edam — Google review
Very disappointed in our experience yesterday at this buffet. Many things (including sushi) not labeled at all. Having allergies, I skipped the sushi to be sure I didn’t consume anything I was allergic to. Food itself was just okay, some of it being cold (especially the dumplings). This place has gone downhill. Dessert was stale cookies and cream puffs with MOLD on them! Brought it to the attention of the person at the register and they said they would check the desserts. Not sure if they did. We won’t be back.
Sam B — Google review
We were there yesterday and it was terrible. The check was dropped on our second plate and we were even finished then we got dessert then we paid the bill he kept coming back and when we had the money out, he was like split checks, but we said now because we were counting the money and once we left, he ran to the table to make sure that we paid that made me felt so uncomfortable and never going back to that place and mind you all of us that were in that table our servers
Glenda — Google review
I went to this Chinese buffet with my family—my mom, dad, and two brothers—and honestly, 👎👎👎👎it was a really disappointing experience. The food was bland and flavorless, and some dishes were oddly sweet in an annoying way. The food labels weren’t even placed correctly, which caused a serious issue for me. I don’t eat pork, but because of their mislabeling, I ended up eating what I thought were beef ribs that turned out to be pork. That’s unacceptable. The place was messy and completely disorganized. And on top of all that, the employees were extremely rude—not just inattentive, but genuinely unfriendly. We paid a lot, and for what? The quality of food and service was way below average. Definitely wouldn’t recommend.
Jasia A — Google review
Today I went to lunch with my family and the first plate was good but when I went to go get my second plate I was discussed to find a roach crawling on the food and making it's way to the plates. When I told the manager he just said thank u for telling him and didn't replace the food that the roach was crawling on and let everyone still eat out of the tray the roach was in and he left the plates as is. Today i didn't get to enjoy my lunch, meal, or family time and everyone went home hungry. I paid $80 just for us not to get a good lunch. We went home hungry and couldn't stay there much longer. I am seriously discussed and very angry.
Rosana C — Google review
I came to this restaurant with my husband and kids, hoping to enjoy a nice meal together, but we were all very disappointed. 👎👎👎The food had little to no flavor, and it was hard to even figure out what we were eating because the labels were all over the place. My child doesn’t eat pork, but because of their poor labeling, ended up eating it by mistake. That really upset me as a mother. The whole place felt disorganized, and the way the staff treated us was very rude and dismissive. For the high price they charged, I expected much better food and service. We will not be returning.
Umme J — Google review
Food is okay. The service is adequate. The atmosphere depending on the crowd is not upscale or trendy.
Ahmad A — Google review
Terrible service those who serve throw away the cutlery and straws and finally take the money and act crazy. They don't ask for their tip, they just take the money and disappear. And if you don't tip, they treat you worse.

American restaurant
Bar
Nestled in the charming Baiting Hollow area, Cooperage Inn is a delightful American-Continental restaurant that has been delighting patrons for over 70 years. This family-owned gem prides itself on using local produce to craft its delectable dishes, all served in a cozy country-style dining room that exudes warmth and nostalgia. The expansive 30-acre property features not only a spacious dining area but also an inviting bar and an outdoor patio where guests can soak in stunning countryside views.
February 2025 Review. We visited The Cooperage Inn for my birthday celebration, and we were thoroughly delighted! It was a truly lovely establishment; both cozy and spacious. They offer three or four main dining areas, a bar, and outdoor seating for warmer weather (we eagerly anticipate trying that! Sun, please come soon; I want to go back and sit outside). The food was outstanding; we sampled a wide variety of dishes. From the Tower Trio appetizer and mussels to their renowned pot pie and ribs, everything was delicious, but the cowboy steak was exceptional—the best I've ever tasted. It was incredibly tender and flavorful. They also have a convenient area where one can purchase their delicious frozen pies (savory and sweet) without entering the main restaurant. I took home a coconut cream pie, which was quickly devoured. The portions were quite generous. Check out the pictures! And go stop by and get something to eat. You will not be disappointed.
Miss D — Google review
Some of food was wonderful. I had braised beef stroganoff, the meat was tough and barely any sauce. Fish was good. Steak special was delicious and the wedge salad it was served with was delightful and fresh. Had to pay $5 for a bread basket at a restaurant that was on the pricey side. Found that rather cheap. It came with a small plastic cup of butter. I would go again, there was a lot of good.
Dawn S — Google review
Good American cuisine. Used to be one of my favorite restaurants. Pet peeve was after asking for my meal to be wrapped up to take home I’m simply given a takeout tin. After wrapping up leftover appetizers and two dinners I need to go to the ladies room to wash my hands. When bringing it to the waitress and managers attention I received a phony smile and I’m sorry. The person I was with was so annoyed at the attitude they didn’t finish their drink or order dessert. There are some great servers there whom I should have asked for. I won’t go back.
Cindy M — Google review
Love it here!! It's like you stepped into a beautiful INN! Decor is fantastic. The service top notch. The food was great. Get the mozzarella appetizer. And the perfectly cooked FILET MIGNON! Sadly, I did not try the pot pies! Next time...... Thank you to everyone for an amazing first time experience at this welcoming restaurant.
Nancy B — Google review
This restaurant is hands down one of the best on Long Island. Service is definitely with a smile. I watched the servers greet everyone with kindness "serving". Dina is a kind person that loves her job. You can feel the hospitality here!! A must if you are on the north fork, in the Hamptons, coming off the ferry. High quality food with chefs that take pride in their craft. The filet mignon was cooked to perfection. Andddd GET THE BREAD BASKET!!!
Black A — Google review
Despite being a Monday, the restaurant was fairly crowded. We had to ask to move our table as they placed us in a room that was full of small children who were making a lot of noise. The wait staff was very attentive. The food, however, left something to be desired. My husband had the paella, which was fairly tasteless. I had the baby lamb chops which were beautifully presented but scant on the chops. The desert, despite being homemade, was huge but also not with much taste. Although I would really love to recommend this restaurant, I cannot.
Beth R — Google review
For over 11 years my husband and I have been going to the Cooperage Inn for all of our Special Occasions, yesterday was our Wedding Anniversary! We were seated and greeted by the most unfriendly waitress! She was impatient with us as to we didn’t want to rush our order when asked what the “Soup was” she had a BLANK and then said I only said it about 100 times today ugh.. We were like to ourselves, Ohh Boy.. we waited and waited when we decided on an appetizer she NO I need the FULL order, we were like okay, walks away again. I tried 2X’s to get her attention to put the FULL ORDER in and she completely ignored us. We decided to leave, I was very upset and have never felt so uncomfortable at a restaurant, especially one that we have had such great experiences going to. Two drinks and the check.
Maria H — Google review
Nestled in the farm country of Calverton. Went to the Fall festival and it was magical. The vibe was friendly and fun. The food was delicious and the prices were reasonable. They are most known for their chicken and short rib pot pie. I tried the chicken pot pie and it was amazing. The band played music ranging from Morgan Wallen to Earth wind & fire and Prince. If you're looking for a day trip especially in the fall, definitely worth it. And down the road is the Riverhead cider House for drinks, cider baste of course.

Seafood restaurant
Captain Bills Restaurant & Catering is a seafood and steak specialist located in a charming waterfront building with a full bar and Sunday brunch. Owned by Peter McCarthy and Michael Korb for over 17 years, the restaurant offers stunning views of the Bay View Marina and the Great South Bay. The establishment takes pride in its premium aged steaks, prime rib, and delectable seafood dishes.
"We visited the restaurant to explore the event space for our wedding and decided to stay for a meal—and we’re so glad we did! From the exceptional service to the delicious food, everything exceeded our expectations. The staff was welcoming and attentive, and the quality of the dishes truly stood out. A fantastic experience all around!"
Anthony M — Google review
Cozy and relaxed atmosphere, the space is huge, and even with multiple parties dining in, this place sounded so quiet, which I loved. The staff are very kind and accommodating. I didn’t have this kind of dining experience anywhere in Manhattan. They are so human, even valet parking employees were kind too! Although the weather wasn’t so great, the sight would’ve been nice if the weather was nice. The seafood is great and fresh, but the best dish was steak from the weekday course menu. They served great steak dishes, and I loved that there were no fancy gimmicks. They genuinely know how to cook. Highly recommended, will visit again!

This time I had the opportunity to enjoy Captain Bill's restaurant, where we were very well received. I went for lunch with my boyfriend and asked to be seated outside with an ocean view. The food was excellent, and we also enjoyed the company. We ate seafood, everything delicious. I recommend it

As a wedding photographer, Bayview House at Captain Bill's is a fantastic venue with stunning waterfront views that make for beautiful, romantic photos with epic sunsets, while the indoor areas offer a cozy, elegant atmosphere for receptions. The staff is friendly and organized, making it easy to capture every moment without any hassle. Overall, it's a charming and picturesque venue that provides a perfect setting for a memorable wedding.

On arrival, we were impressed with valet parking and courteous staff. We came for brunch, and the food really was delicious. The roast beef was the best I have tasted. Well done ! They included drinks and the champagne was very nice, which I really enjoyed. The venue, right on the water, made for a lovely atmosphere with ducks swimming gracefully nearby.

Romantic lunch date with the wife. Requested a table outside by the waterfront. Beautiful day & Amazing view. We have to go back for dinner. Tables next to us had shrimp & lobster rolls. Figures I heard after the fact that the lobster is to die for!

We recently celebrated my son and future daughter-in-law’s engagement party here, and it was an incredible experience. The staff was absolutely wonderful—professional, attentive, and kind. A special thank you to Anna, who was truly amazing throughout the entire event. Regrettably, I don't have the names of everyone to give a personal thank you to however you all know who you are! 8/24/25 . Anna, along with the rest of the team, worked extremely hard to make the day perfect, and their efforts did not go unnoticed. I am so grateful for everything you did to help make this celebration so special. Thank you!

Nestled in a chic and spacious setting, Limani is an upscale Greek-Mediterranean restaurant that truly captures the essence of coastal dining. With a menu heavily focused on seafood, guests can indulge in an array of fresh whole fish options like Mediterranean pink snapper and black sea bass, alongside succulent Maine lobster and Alaskan king crab legs. For those who prefer land-based dishes, Limani also offers hearty moussaka, tender steaks, and braised lamb shanks to satisfy every palate.
Limani has been our family’s go-to place for a decade. Beautiful ambience, impeccable service and simply great food. We went the other night for my husband’s birthday and had a time. Octopus was so tasty, and branzino was flaky and well cooked. Loved baklavas and yogurt with berry! Their prix fixe menu is very well priced for both lunch and early dinner.
Amy K — Google review
Most of dishes were little bit salty for me. However the atmosphere & service were perfect and the octopus was really delicious. Also, their prix fixe menu’s price and the portion of food was reasonably. I would love to visit Limani again.
Mirae H — Google review
Guys, this is where you come for a fancy feast. It's a lovely place to celebrate a special occasion or a really nice date night. Now, if you're looking for a great meal, the quality of cuisine for the price is not exactly proportional. You can definitely get the same quality at your local Greek restaurant in Northern Blvd or Astoria. We thought the fish was great but not worth 100 dollars lol. The spinach dish-you could say that it could be made at home. The octopus was all right, it wasn't earth shattering like people seem to suggest. The desserts were pretty great. The lava cake and their little tea set with loose chamomile was a nice end to a very expensive meal.
Anna C — Google review
A group of friends and I came here to celebrate a friend’s birthday, and overall it was a wonderful experience. The restaurant has elegant décor, attentive service, and very fresh seafood. They also offer valet parking, which made things very convenient. The prices are on the higher side, and I did feel that the tables were placed a little too close to each other, which affected the sense of privacy. For these reasons I took off one star. That said, the quality of the food and service still made it a memorable evening. I would recommend this place for special occasions and celebrations.
JJ X — Google review
With elegant decor this restaurant provided a wonderful dining experience. Attentive staff was friendly and serviceable throughout our meal. Lastly the food was exceptional from the grilled octopus to the lamb chops. Will definitely be back again to explore the menu!

Been coming here from. The beginning. Made a few parties here in the glass room too. Last night was not good. Not even close. Had 2 fish for 4 of us. Both fish way overcooked. Mushrooms were almost non existent. Service was ok. Bottle of white wine came out warm. Service was over bearing with the rough pouring of water wine. Gotta train these guys. We aren’t eating in a diner. This is supposed to be fine dining. Come on people. Get it together. Please. This is twice by the way. Not a one off. Thank you for the dessert but honestly. Dinner was lousy. Shocking.

Good atmosphere, good food and great tasting appetizers. The staff is super attentive. Fish and steak dishes are very good. The lamb chops were very well seasoned and they melted in my mouth. The grilled octopus was good but it was a bit dry... nothing olive oil and a dash of red wine can solve.

Limani is a gem for anyone craving Greek cuisine. The food is absolutely amazing—fresh, flavorful, and well prepared. We tried the octopus, lamb chops, and creamy moussaka. The service is friendly and attentive, making the whole experience feel special. Highly recommend for a top-notch Greek dining experience!

Crabtree's Restaurant is a charming Mediterranean eatery nestled in Long Island, New York, where the ambiance transports you straight to Greece. With its stunning Santorini-inspired decor and inviting garden seating, it’s an ideal spot for both locals and visitors alike. The restaurant offers a delightful Sunday brunch buffet that runs from 11:30 AM to 3 PM, making it perfect for leisurely gatherings with family or friends.
Arrived to Crabtree’s Restaurant on a Thursday evening around 7p. Walked in to a lively crowd of dining customers. All the staff greeted us as we walked in. Dim lights and lively staff, very well dressed and respectful. They were very knowledgeable about the dishes, specials, and ingredients. They have inside and outdoor dining, the weather was adequate and we decided to dine outdoors. The decor was very appealing and matched well with the energy of the business. That being said, the food was fresh, well seasoned, piping hot, and came out of the kitchen fairly quickly. A very well balanced staff and good chemistry between them. Where one waiter fell short, the other picked up as if there wasn’t a misstep at all. They were very accommodating, and I’m excited to return sooner than later. Looking forward to becoming a regular here and trying more of their menu. A great experience here indeed. I can easily recommend them to anyone looking for a fresh Mediterranean dining experience whether you have the time to browse the menu and relax a bit with their wine menu or if you’re short on time and know what you want to eat upon entering, this is a great place to choose from.

I recently visited Crabtree Restaurant, mainly because I had my monthly Amex Resy Credit to use, and decided to give it a try. The first impression is that the place is meant to feel like a cozy, homey spot, as it has a residential front door outside. Right when you enter, there's a bar, which sets the casual vibe, but since I ordered takeout, I didn’t get to see what the dining area looked like beyond the corner. I went for the lobster and shrimp tortellini, expecting something tasty and flavorful, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to my expectations. For $28, I was hoping for a memorable dish, but I ended up disappointed. The tortellini itself wasn’t as fresh as I’d hoped, and the cream sauce had started to dry up by the time I got home. It didn’t feel worth the price, especially when I thought that $28 could've been better spent elsewhere. On top of that, the bread that came with my order was pretty hard, which didn’t help the overall experience. I really wanted to love this place, and maybe I’ll give it another shot down the line, but based on this visit, it wasn’t a standout.

Overall, one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. The service was top notch, several staff members checked in on us throughout the meal, and everyone was genuinely friendly. They introduced themselves, and even the maître d’ shared a few stories. The dining room had a backdrop with the large open window in the back, that I think you can dine outside during warmer days. The food was excellent as well, multiple appetizers, saganaki a flaming cheese was a good one! This was my first visit, but I can easily see myself coming back many times. Top marks all around!

Ms. Lilia is the best! She said she likes to pamper her diners. I asked if they serve pinacolada. They don’t but she substituted it with a martini coconut juice and said “on me”. Their bar tender has a knack for mixing cocktails. My halibut with lobster sauce, couscous and mixed veggies was delish! Creamy, fresh, perfectly prepared. My husband liked his swordfish. I wish they heat their slice of apple pie and make it less sweet.

Went back for the first time in a while and it was worth the wait. They had a great price fix menu for $44 but I went with the special soft shell crab and it was very tatsy. For dessert the chocolate cake was the way to go, but the rest of the table felt the Red Velvet cake was better. The serves was always on point and we got to sit outside on a nice night as well.

The food and service were both AMAZING. I went here for dinner with a group of 14 so we had 2 waitresses. They were both super friendly, and a delight to talk to. Onto the food - The bread we got was extremely good, especially the purple-ish one, which had raisins. We ended up asking for another little basket of bread after finishing the first. For appetizers, we got calamari, which was super crisp, tasty, and came with a lot. For dinner, everyone was beyond satisfied with their meals. The crab cakes tasted really fresh and were filling. The rigatoni was cooked perfectly, and the sauce was delicious. For dessert, I got the pistachio icecream (I forget the official name). It was really good, and left me wanting more even though I was full. Overall, I definitely recommend this place for a special outing or date, and I hope to come back in the future.

Nestled in a cozy spot on 2nd Avenue, Brick Lane Curry House is a delightful homage to the vibrant Anglo-Indian culinary scene. This charming eatery offers a relaxed atmosphere where you can indulge in classic British-Indian dishes that tug at the heartstrings of curry enthusiasts. The menu boasts an impressive selection of nine fiery curries, including their renowned phal, known for its intense heat and flavor.
The food was delicious! We got the Maya’s Paneer and Vegetable Biryani with garlic naan. The drinks were good too! The only strange thing was it too a really long time to get the drinks. They came after our entrees arrived. Everything else was great!

Wonderful food! I ordered the aloo gobi, vegetable pakora, and onion bhaji. The soup they brought to the table prior to us ordering was absolutely mesmerizing. A couple of things: -the papadum served at the table was unfortunately not vegan, and we were not told otherwise until I took a bite and immediately tasted shrimp/fishy flavor. I was pretty disappointed with that because the server knew I was vegan -there should definitely be more non-alcoholic drink options! They only have soda and mango lassi (but nonvegan) -I was also saddened to see that they had no vegan bread option. All of the naan, paratha, and tandoori roti on the menu had dairy. This is the first time I go to an Indian restaurant without a non-dairy bread option

A handful of interesting new flavors, and a whole lot of dishes you'll recognize. They have a robot bring your food, a crowd pleaser. The dishes are good sized. Try the palak paneer chicken Tikka, and the samosa chat, all were good. The paratha is also worth ordering. Service is attentive, ambience is dark of the attempting to be romantic variety.

The restaurant decor gave me the strangest idea, that I was walking on a giant crossword puzzle!! Then suddenly!! From nowhere, a robot!!! (Which looked like a headless Darlek) Turns up with food!!!!… What ever happened to the real authenticity of the waiter donning a bow tie, and offering more food ideas from the menu!!? The food was ok. The complimentary mini tomato soup, along with poppadoms was a nice gesture. I ordered (Every London boy’s favorite) Chicken Tikka Masala. But very disappointed. I didn’t understand the white cream swirl on the top of the dish!?!?.. my wife ordered the chicken Jalfrezi!!. Which actually tasted very good. Nice spice. The waitress kept turning the lights down?? I think her boss was trying to save on his/her power bill!???..what a joke! We needed containers for carry out. Which they gladly gave. But the tin foil/plastic leaked in the bag. Any true restaurant should know that any form of takeaway should be firmly contained in tight fit plastic container/s. All-in-all. Three stars. The food was ok. But nothing like the real “Brick Lane” I know back home in London.

We had an amazing experience dining here for lunch. Kunal was a great server! He was extremely attentive and accommodating. The food was extraordinary and you got so much of it for only $16 which is their lunch special. Comes with appetizer, veggie, lentils, entree, naan, and dessert. In addition to a small cup of tomato soup and crisps we received upon being seated. Will definitely be recommending this place to others!! Music was also great and the bathrooms were clean which is always a plus!

Definitely a heavy hitter for the area. The food was spiced well and deeply, although doesn't taste strictly traditional. The portions were generous, with lots of meat and chunks of lamb in the biryani. The staff also went out of their way for requests. We asked for an espresso since we saw a machine in the resturant. You could tell they were uncomfortable but made it for us anyway. Truly felt like they went out of their way for the customer. I'm giving it 5 stars but in reality I'd give this resturant a 4/5. It doesn't many things well but not something that is a game changer or blowed my mind. A very solid and great Indian restaurant.

Delicious Indian food! To begin our meal we were offered a small cup of tomato soup, with cummin crisps on the side and sauces. The combination of flavors is wowing and super comforting. Appetizers were really good, samosas a bit too big but had leftover to take home. Main dish was Shrimp tikka masala, served with rice and we ordered naam on the side. Naam was to die for with the tikka masala sauce. Cant wait to go back. They also have a robot bring your food to the table, cute modern touch to our visit. Music was upbeat but subtle at the same time, great atmosphere!!

I've been here a few times. Once during the all you can eat brunch for $9.99 and several times for dinner. The brunch was well worth the money. Food was great and lots to choose from. For dinner I had the seafood moilee, which was sooooo yummy! If you can't handle spicy, this is a great choice!!! Not spicy at all, and very creamy. (I can't handle spicy...) My friend decided to do the Phaal Challenge, which this place is famous for. It is a super spicy concoction of 13 different peppers to make a death bowl of fire. If you finish it, you get your name on the Phaal of Fame, a certificate, and a free beer. DEFINITELY DO NOT DO THIS IF YOU DONT WANT TO SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES!!! My friend was able to finish it, but not without sweat, blood, and tears!!! ok...maybe not that dramatic, but the instant he stood up, he said he felt like his stomach was eating itself. And was bedridden for the rest of the night HAHA!!! But if the pain is worth the satisfaction of finishing it and a free beer, then go for it!!! Overall, food here is very good, service here is great, and the atmosphere is classy and pleasant. I would definitely recommend this place for great indian food :)

Had an amazing dinner at the Three Village Inn. Was seating by a wonderful girl who couldn’t be anymore welcoming! My husband and I had a round of drinks at the bar.. super delicious. We got sat in an adorable corner table and our waitress Ashley was so sweet. I recommend the Fried Deviled eggs. I was SHOCKED how delicious they were. I could have had a dozen of them. We also tried the new burger on their menu. It’s now a staple for take-out or if we want a bite to eat at the bar. We very much enjoyed our meals! Can’t wait to go back. The only thing I regret is not taking photos to show off

I've been to Mirabelle Tavern for brunch twice now and both times have been such a lovely experience. The service is consistently great — we had Reece last time and he was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. I really enjoyed the mimosa and the Mirabelle Benedict — perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The atmosphere is relaxed yet polished, and it's the perfect spot to enjoy a leisurely brunch before walking around the village or heading to the beach. Highly recommend for a weekend treat!

My husband and I attended their “Bark and Bites” event, this was our first time at Mirabelle. We appreciated how well thought out the event was from the table spacing to the personalized doggie place mats. You can tell everyone was excited about it. We were offered a prix fixed menu, which we felt was well priced and well portioned. The food was great and we’d return again, with or without our pup. Nicolette was our server, she was personable and attentive.

We first tried this restaurant in December and it’s quickly become our go-to spot for everything from special occasions to happy hour and casual lunches—and every experience has been fantastic. We were there again yesterday for lunch and haven’t stopped talking about how insanely good the French fries were. They might just be the best we’ve ever had Our server Reece was also a standout—friendly, attentive, and made our visit feel extra enjoyable. It’s rare to find a place that’s consistently great across the board, but this one never disappoints. Highly recommend!

I had my wedding at the Snapper Inn September 14th 2024 and this place was absolutely amazing. From the start Josh was so accommodating in making sure everything was done right! They go above and beyond to make your day special and not have to worry about a single thing. The food was great and the view was outstanding. My Father decided to surprise us with the raw bar option during the cocktail hour and it was so worth it! A perfect sunset while guest are eating clams oysters and shrimp was a hit. I called to make a reservation for an early dinner for 8/31. I asked for outdoor seating and the young lady informed me they don't take reservations for outdoor dining that is on a first come first serve basis. Upon arrival I saw the hostess and asked for an outdoor table. She informed me they were completely booked with reservations for the outdoor dining. I said to her when I called to make a reservation, I was told they don't accept reservations for outside. The manager standing next to he quickly chimed in and said they don't accept outdoor reservation but if you have an indoor reservation you would get a priority for an outdoor table. I proceeded to go to the bar for a cocktail with my wife. After a nice drink I saw many available tables outside. In fact, I counted 14 empty tables. I went back to the manager and asked for a table because I saw there was plenty of seating available. He proceeded to tell me that he could not accommodate me because the tables were empty because the kitchen staff was maxed out. I found that hard to believe but took him at his word. I went back to the bar and ordered 2 shrimp cocktails and received my order in no time and proceeded to eat the with my wife on the arm of the Adirondack chairs that they have on the dock. I guess the kitchen staff wasn't maxed out. We ate awkwardly off the arm of the chairs while I saw plenty of seating available. I am a local resident, and I have enjoyed dining there many times but base on this experience it will be my last. The manager was an unprofessional A--

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If we could give more than 5 stars, we absolutely would! We had an unforgettable evening at Snapper Inn, and a huge part of that was thanks to our incredible waiter, Zach F-R. Simply put—Zach was beyond amazing. He is, without a doubt, the best waiter we've ever had at ANY restaurant. Attentive, warm, professional, and genuinely kind—he made the entire experience seamless and enjoyable. The timing of our meal was perfect—everything came out at just the right pace, allowing us to enjoy each course without feeling rushed. The wine was excellent and beautifully paired with our meals. And speaking of meals—Prime Rib Night was out of this world! Cooked to perfection, flavorful, and absolutely satisfying. We also want to recognize the wonderful hostess who welcomed us so warmly, and the busboy/assistant who was incredibly polite and attentive throughout the evening. Every member of the staff contributed to the exceptional service. To top it all off, we were treated to a gorgeous fireworks display during dinner, which made the night feel even more special. I highly recommend the Snapper Inn for a relaxing, delicious, and memorable dining experience. A heartfelt thank you to Zach and the entire team—you truly made our night one to remember!

Tanoreen is a beloved restaurant in Bay Ridge, celebrating its 20th anniversary as a go-to spot for Mediterranean-Middle Eastern cuisine. Chef-owner Rawia Bishara's menu showcases delicious Palestinian dishes like musukhan flatbread and shulbato, alongside more modern offerings such as cauliflower steak with tahini and pomegranate.
Just went for restaurant week and it was great! The food was delicious and plentiful. Loved the fried cauliflower. It was tender in the inside and crispy on the outside. The sauce was also very flavorful and creamy. I ordered the lamb shanks was tender and paired very well with the yogurt dip. Finished it off with the infamous kunefeh. Very cheesy, hearty and super filling. Ate a bit but had to take most of it home. Very large portions. Thumbs 👍

This place was there on my list for a while and finally went there to celebrate my birthday. We drove down from Philly and called a few hours in advance and made the reservation. Definitely worth a try.

A delicious dinner in a neighborhood gem! The service was welcoming and friendly and the decor was the right mix of casual, homey AND elegant. That second part is harder to achieve than you think. Food was delicious. Half our group had the mint iced tea and the other half had the hibiscus iced tea (I can vouch that the hibiscus was great - both are unsweetened FYI). We started with the fried cauliflower steak appetizer (must get) and the special fried haloumi and watermelon salad (very delicious). We shared the Kibbie Jazariyyeh (a beef and carrot stew with kibbe - phenomenal!); chicken Fetti (like a pilaf and my favorite entree. The portion size on this could feed three easily.); and the Baked Kafta Tahini (ok...unanimously our least favorite entree of the evening). Definitely get the labeneh if available or the yogurt side - elevated every dish. We ended with the knafeh which was solid. It's far out, but worth it!

The best kanafeh in NYC - worth the trek to brooklyn - you should go! Other dishes that were great include the grilled meats, Fetti with extra harissa, and musakhan. Get the labne it's also so good! But the cocktails are not it - but really this is a Palestinian restaurant...they're not cocktail experts.

Mizumi features an extensive sushi buffet with a set price, including sushi. The all-you-can-eat lunch is $27, and the restaurant offers meats as well. There is also a cooked food bar with delicious items if you have the room for it! The only downside was that the ice cream machine wasn't actually ice cream, but rather yogurt which was a little sour.
The team was hyped for this experience. I am happy to say, we were not disappointed. From the moment all 43 of us arrived to the final picture taken we were warmly received and taken care of. Everything was so clean and pretty. The lighting was perfect, nice to be able to see the food and the staff cooking and setting it out. Very courteous staff who responded to requests promptly and generously. Lovely music, playing at just the right level. We could hear each other speaking clearly. The food was excellent. It was well prepared, more than enough and replenished often. We were stuffed to the gills! I was so caught up, I didn't take as many pictures or the ones I really wanted to take. But you can get the idea from ones I have how happy we all were. There was so much more to eat. Kudos to Marc for the suggestion! Thank you Terrance and the team at Mizumi, we will be back. Or at least my husband and I will, all the way from Jersey!!!

My friend and I visited Mizumi Buffet for lunch on a Thursday afternoon, and overall, we had a pleasant experience. The restaurant is open from 12 PM to 3 PM and again from 5 PM to 9 PM. It offers a wide selection of Asian cuisine to suit many tastes, including salads, seafood, meats, sushi, sashimi, soups, a variety of sauces and spices, as well as a generous dessert section. One of the best things about this place is its convenience and accessibility. There’s a huge, free parking lot with plenty of space, and a traffic light right in front of the entrance makes getting in and out from Northern Parkway very easy. The restaurant is also wheelchair-accessible, with a ramp for those who have difficulty with stairs. Inside, there are benches where you can sit while waiting for a table or your ride. Even during lunch hours, the restaurant wasn’t crowded. There were many available tables of various sizes—seating for two, four, or six people—and it seems easy to rearrange for larger groups. The waitress who served us was attentive and constantly made sure our plates were cleared and that we had everything we needed. We did order cocktails with our meal, and that was the one downside of our visit. The drinks were overpriced, and we couldn’t really taste the alcohol that was supposedly in them, which left us disappointed in that aspect. The buffet itself was enjoyable. We sampled a variety of dishes, and while one of the fish options wasn’t to my liking, the rest of the offerings were flavorful and satisfying. Each dish was labeled in both Chinese and English, which was a thoughtful touch—although I did notice a few English spelling errors. It’s a small detail, but something that could easily be improved. In summary, Mizumi Buffet is a great option for those who enjoy Asian cuisine. It’s spacious, accessible, and offers a wide variety of dishes to explore. While the drinks could use some improvement, the food and service make it worth a visit. I would definitely recommend this place and rate it 4 out of 5 stars.

🍣 Mizumi – Little Neck, NY ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ One of the longest-standing buffets on Northern Blvd, Mizumi continues to evolve while staying true to its roots. From its early days as a classic sushi buffet to its pandemic-era bento boxes, and now its bold dual concept of sushi and hot pot, this place has kept things fresh and exciting. Weekday pricing sits around $37 per person, while weekends climb to $45—a bit steep, but the fresh seafood, new oyster selections, and rotating sushi options make it worth every bite. The salad bar is always crisp, and while the fried items can be hit or miss, the overall spread is impressive. The management team works hard to keep things running smoothly, and it shows. Special shoutout to the tall Asian waiter who’s been there since the beginning—a true gem. He’s kind, vibrant, and moves like he genuinely loves his job. That kind of consistency and care is rare and deserves recognition. The space is perfect for family gatherings, with plenty of seating and a clean, welcoming vibe. Just a heads-up: don’t arrive starving, or you’ll fill up on rice and miss the premium bites. Mizumi has stood the test of time—and I’ll definitely keep coming back. One of the best buffets in Queens! Yummy sushi. The only thing that might be lacking is the dessert. The wait during father's day was an hour but I thought it was worth it.

We were hesitant to try this place because of the bad reviews, personally I had no issues. I was able to eat enough crab legs to my hearts desire and they have a great deal of options for food. Enjoyed this place and will be coming back for sure. If you get a drink and need refills just make sure to ask in case they forget you ordered a soda, they made sure to give me a refill when I asked first time around. Also we were not rushed at all and ate majority of the 90 minutes. Only thing I would say is my spouse said he has had fresher fish, but the variety of options made up for it. I went to check and didn’t see many empty entrees at the end. Loved the strawberry yogurt ice cream at the end. I was truly amazed by the amount and types of seafood offered. Also we went there when they first opened the doors for dinner, do recommend.

If you're on the hunt for a delightful dining experience in New York City, look no further than 99 Favor Taste. This expansive all-you-can-eat Asian buffet is a feast for the senses, featuring contemporary decor that sets the perfect backdrop for your meal. With locations scattered across Brooklyn, the Lower East Side, Flushing, and Staten Island, you can easily find a spot to indulge in their mouthwatering offerings.
Awesome. The food was amazing and this time we did BBQ and hotpot. The hotpot was mild spicy for me and I loved it. Mild spicy really is just very spicy though. That's still fine. I still prefer BBQ. The House sauce is one of the best sauces I’ve ever had in my life. It's absolutely perfect for the meat.

We visited 99 Favor Taste for my husband's birthday. We had never been to a hotpot or barbecue specific restaurant and now we know what we were missing out on. We prefer to eat vegetarian food and this restaurant had so many options for us. We highly recommend the bread sticks, potato vermicelli, fried tofu skin, egg plant (for BBQ) and would avoid the lotus root and corn which were difficult to cook and eat. They even offer a few free appetizers and a free ice cream. The collection of sauces was great. We ordered through a tab and they charge for wastage of too much food, so be careful how much you order. The vibe of the place is pretty and all the servers were very helpful. We did get the birthday offer (one person eats free) but they do not wish or give anything else. The place is priced high if not for the birthday offer, so going very hungry will help you do justice.

We went there around 6pm and got a seat easily. The food was truly fab! If you are a fan of sichuan flavors and numbing spice this is for you! I am a vegetarian and I had loads of options to choose from. We got the spicy broth, and it was not a lie!

My favorite BBQ and hotpot spot in New York! Tons of options, great quality, and the best part — you get to enjoy both BBQ and hotpot in one place. Surprisingly affordable too. Highly recommend!

We love Hotpot and have been coming here for many years and on my Bday as well. This year was incredibly disappointing as the service was incredibly bad. They checked my ID twice at the front and when they were mumbling about the bday special, I spoke with them in Mandarin where they quickly acknowledged and seated us. Then after the meal, they tried to charge us full price DESPITE our server stating throughout the meal that my dinner would be covered. They then checked by ID a 3rd time before they corrected the check. It just felt a bit shady and sneaky.... Then they finally played the bday song for me when my wife asked for it nearly an hour before. It sounds like the new management have been causing this chaos with some underhanded new policies/tactics to trick their customers. Please do better. No desire to report this establishment but if it keeps going like this, there may not be another choice.

Where do i begin, the customer service from the lady made my day. The food and options are endless and the food tastes amazing. Jina and our server were super mice and friendly. Will definitely be back

Came here for lunch on a weekday and was pretty nice, now let’s get to it: Hot pot or bbq? We chose hot pot and it didn’t disappoint ! Menu selection was great as you can see from all the various plates we have on the table. My friend was super excited to eat everything from beef, lamb, to enoki mushrooms and tofu skin. Staff were very attentive and service was fast but it was only us and maybe 4 other families. Heads up: Ordering is off the phone through a QR scan and directs to a website.

Their website says that you can get a free meal on your birthday, but you arrive and it’s only with a party of two. No mention of that on the website. Arrived by myself and was turned away. No idea how the food was, I’ll never know.

Buffet restaurant
Strip-mall eatery with an extensive buffet of Chinese, Japanese & American fare, plus a hibachi bar.
I have been to Flaming Grill quite a few times with my church youth department, and we love it. This time around, we made a reservation about a month in advance for Valentine's Day. The restaurant was crowded, and their was a line to get your seating. We didn't have to wait too long. We probably waited about 5-7mins before we were seated. I think because we were a large group, we got seated quicker than couples or smaller groups. My group entails 15, and we were placed to sit in the party room. The service was great, and the place was clean, especially the bathroom on such a busy night. I must commend them for keeping it clean. Furthermore, the food tastes delicious. They have a wide variety of food selections from seafood, veggies, meat, and starch. They also have a sushi bar and a hibachi restaurant. They have a fridge with different selection of ice cream and frozen treats, along with a pastry station. I really enjoyed the sushi and the fried crab. It was so delicious. We were given 5 pitchers of juice, and we got different drinks in each pitcher. We got ginger ale, spirit, lemonade, coke, and fruit punch. We paid $17.99 for a plate, which is not too expensive, for a buffet with so much variety. We paid approximately $335 for 9 adults and 6 children. Overall, I highly recommend the place. The children and young people at my church love going. Moreover, I haven't been disappointed so far, hence I will be returning another time.

I really enjoyed dining at Flaming Grill and Supreme Buffet! The variety of food is amazing – so many options to choose from, with fresh seafood, tasty sushi, and the hibachi grill which is the best part, cooked fresh right in front of you. Prices are very affordable for the amount and quality of food offered. Definitely a great place to enjoy a satisfying meal with family and friends. Highly recommended!

I went to this place with my family. The outside looks like it’s not good. There is smell of drugs but once you come inside there are many food to enjoy. The food was good overall, there are many types of food you can eat. Just the soda was not good. It was flat I felt I was drinking black sweet water. The man’s bathroom was broken. There was a lot of water. I went on a Sunday maybe they are too busy to clean the bathroom. Overall it’s a good place to spend time with the family. It’s a family oriented place and also you can enjoy the food
Jose M — Google review
The food was ok. I thought one staff member went out of his way to silently tell me it was time to go. He did not clear my used 2nd plate when I went to pick up dessert. Proceeded to bring the fortune cookie and the tray. My response can be seen below. I went in and saw other people and he didn't do this to them and I wasn't even there for an hour. I would not be going back. There are other places on Grand avenue that are also all you can eat hibachi and they're less expensive.
Sherdene T — Google review
The food is good but if your a person that does the most when it comes to critiquing food don’t come here the service is really good they are really nice and they wait on you hand and foot for anything you need and the atmosphere is really noisy because alot of people bring their kids so yeah

I came here with my family, and I like it. Many many food, many option, all kind of seafood 🍢🦞 we usually know, freshly cooked. If you like seafood and you want to go for Buffett, think about this. They have plenty of parking 🅿️ space. Big restaurant.

My wife and I have been to this place a few times now and it has always been a god experience. There is a wide variety of food that’s always fresh and available and you should always leave room for some desert. So if you're looking for some Chinese food this is the place to head too with friends or family that's in a good neighborhood with plenty of free parking in the front and rear of the restaurant.
Dennis F — Google review
The food was pretty good, I went on a weekend special day and the price was great for the quality. The service was really good. It was packed so it was a bit noisy but nothing disruptive or disrespectful. Great quality as I said and the area was clean. Definitely going to be going back in the near future (God Willing).

Restaurant
DJ's International Buffet is a relaxed eatery that offers a wide range of all-you-can-eat options, including seafood, American dishes, sushi, and dim sum. The restaurant impresses with its extensive sushi choices. The food overall boasts decent quality and comes at an affordable price point. Convenient parking is available at the back, and there is a designated area for buffet customers. During busy times, the place can appear crowded due to the arrangement of tables as they try to accommodate more patrons.
A fantastic dining experience! One of the first things that stood out was the ample and convenient parking, which made the start of our visit completely stress-free. The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the seafood selection. The sushi was incredibly fresh, and the shrimp were plump and succulent, a true testament to the quality of their ingredients. Everything tasted wonderfully fresh and delicious. Considering the high quality and the wide variety of options available, the buffet price was an incredible value. It's not often you find a buffet that excels in both quality and affordability. I highly recommend this place for anyone who appreciates fresh seafood and a great deal. We will definitely be coming back!

The food is good for a Chinese buffet, I personally like to get the sushi and the soft serve ice cream. Always enjoy the soft serve with green tea or vanilla flavors at the end of the meal, there's also a chocolate fountain. Might seem like plenty of parking but not enough when this place gets busy, also some of the parking spaces belong to other buildings nearby.
Cat L — Google review
Hark! For a mere seventy coins, a trio of us did brave a buffet most foul. The yellow peaches? Mere slivers! The Sprite? Flat as a jester's wit! The Coke? Its twin in tastelessness! Sushi? A sticky, unholy mess! Though the ice cream offered a fleeting mercy, the egg tarts lacked all sweetness, mocking our very hopes. My belly, alas, rebelled mid-meal, and the knave at the till did then forget my card. A paltry sum paid for a feast of utter disappointment!

Definitely for a seafood lover! This place is my paradise all sushi crab fish fruit was so fresh and delicious! Our server was really nice. No wait time, big parking lot.
Brigitta D — Google review
First and foremost, the one thing I recommend off the bat is to get there maybe 10 to 15 minutes before it opens because people will be waiting in the parking lot to get in. Upon entering the restaurant, it is very clean and eye-catching. The staff is very attentive. They get you to your table right away and you can begin loading up your plates. Now onto the food, the food is amazing. every single thing that I grabbed from the stations was bursting with flavor and tasted exactly like I thought it would if I can give this place 100 stars I would it was clean, it was organized, everything was clearly labeled and I just wanted to keep on eating. This is my first time visiting this establishment with my husband and I can tell you that I will be visiting again with my daughter so she can enjoy the chocolate fountain and all the fried foods that I know she will love. I enjoyed all of the seafood from crab legs, to clams, to shrimp to sushi and all the different Asian cuisines that they offered, and my husband, who is very picky with his food, enjoyed every single thing that he put on his plate. Kudos to this place for not only a reasonable price but excellent food I look forward to going there again.

so it’s corwded; but what do yu expect from an all you can seafood buffet? lmaoo to be honest that’s the one part that’s expected. what wasn’t expected; was the quality of the food. i loved it sm! i went w my gf and we both enjoyed ourselves to as much as we desired 😋 highly suggest to come at dinner, they have different menus(the full menu) the higher price is def worth it the service is typical for an all you can eat, they make sure you have drinks and take the leftovers from your finnished meal. highly suggest! i love my date here

Weekday lunch for $20 is a deal!! It’s mostly Chinese and Japanese seafood. Large seating area. They don’t label all the food and the desserts aren’t that good (liked the ice cream, though!). If you like fish, crab, and scallops, this is an amazing place.

Korean restaurant
Let's Meat BBQ is a popular spot for all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ, offering a modern and spacious setting with table grills. The restaurant provides 100 minutes to indulge in the $43 classic or $49 signature meal set, featuring an array of premium cuts of meat like brisket, ribeye, and pork belly. Additionally, they offer soju and imported beers to complement your dining experience.
I love this restaurant! I have been here a few times now, and the food, service, and environment are 5 stars across the board. The staff is super helpful, the wait has not been particularly long when we've gone (both weekend days around 2pm), and the food is SO good. The price is under $40 per person for most things (excluding drinks), and it's a very worthy price for the quality of the food! I suggest the number 11 from the classic menu, it's a marinated sliced beef that is so good. A nice touch: normally in Korean BBQ, you cook everything yourself (as far as I've experienced). At this location, the staff hops between tables and does all of the cooking for you! You can do it yourself as well, but they will always return to the table to check that everything is going well and continue preparation as needed. This is a perfect location to share some time with family, friends, or a date, but maybe not first date! It can get little messy if you are wrapping the beef in the lettuce provided with the other sides. This was graciously recommended by a staff member, and really took the flavor and experience to the next level. I can only go up to 5 stars, but would definitely give more if I could!

First timer.. walking in, sized it up to be like a hole in the wall place..but as soon as you walk in, you realize how expansive the dining area is. Tables consist of something that looks like large steel bowls slightly tilted lids, and large venting apparatus. Menu has quite a few options, but we opted for the $46 all you can eat option. We were a bit nervous because we didn't know how everything worked (youd think it would be simple - 'all you can eat').. basically, you order what you want to be cooked, they bring it, then they cook it table-side for you. We started with the regular sounding stuff to cook( brisket, spicy ribeye, hanger, steak, etc).. all were fabulous.. but then we got adventurous and tried the other stuff, and quickly wished we had started with this first. Other stuff consisted of pork jowl, pork belly, marinated pork short ribs, spicy pork skin, spicy pork Short ribs.. omg.. these latter meats are to die for. If I had realized this, I would have saved space for multiple orders l ! ! Everything came out so fast, so not much wasted waiting time.. I am definitely looking forward to coming back to New York sooner (last time was 3 years ago ! !) and coming back to this place ! ! !

We had an amazing time here! There were three of us, and we were seated right away. No wait, which was a great start. The service was friendly and efficient, and every meat we ordered was delicious. We left feeling full, happy, and completely satisfied. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great meal and a smooth dining experience!
GISELLE G — Google review
This is a good spot to go to with friends! You pay by person. I forgot to take a picture, but this was my second time being here. The employees cook the meat for you. You always get the same type of vegetables (broccoli, onion, yams, kimchi, pickled radish, etc) and get unlimited refill on it. You have an hour of unlimited meat as well. It’s a pretty simple menu in my opinion but the meat tastes better than most KBBq I’ve been to. I would have gave it four stars if it had more on the menu for the price.

Good for all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ if you like meat and can eat a lot. Meat options were good but AVOID the shrimps coz they were unpeeled. How could you peel it when it’s piping hot?? Spicy Tofu stew was quite bland… Good atmosphere but a bit too dark. Service was EXCELLENT!!

Lakruwana Restaurant is a lavishly decorated Sri Lankan eatery known for its vibrant ambiance and popular weekend buffet. The restaurant's interior is adorned with an impressive array of Buddhas, ornate bowls, and gold statues, creating a visually stunning dining experience. Outside, the walls are adorned with colorful murals, providing a picturesque backdrop for diners seated at umbrellaed picnic tables.
Family recommended that I try Sri Lankan food, but it's very difficult to find a Sri Lankan restaurant anywhere north of Staten Island, so this was the choice for my first try of Sri Lanka food and it was fantastic. I had the lunch buffet for $22 to get a nice variety of choices. Everything was delicious, but I think the pineapple curry is my favorite.
Adam L — Google review
We had a great time here! We went for the buffet and got to try a bunch of different dishes — everything was super tasty. The coconut curry was definitely a highlight, so flavorful and comforting. Prices were really reasonable too, especially for the variety you get. Plus, the interior is beautiful — cozy, stylish, and full of character. We’ll definitely be coming back!
Iryna S — Google review
When I first saw the exterior of this restaurant, I was absolutely intrigued. The ornate carvings, majestic statues, and shimmering golden doors beckoned me to come in. The place was crowded and everyone seemed to be enjoying their meal. Upon being seated in one of the elaborate chairs, I had to pause and take in the visual feast around me. The cozy interior was adorned with 360 degree of stunning ornate collectibles from Sri Lanka, exquisite tchotchkes adorning the walls and hanging from the ceilings, creating a continuous visual stimulus. The hostess greeted me and explained that I could either scan the menu code or enjoy the wonderful lunch buffet for $21. (Since I visited during the weekend lunch hour, I'm unsure if the price changes at other times.) Noticing that everyone else was enjoying the buffet, I decided to follow suit, and I'm so glad I did. I'm a huge fan of Sri Lankan cuisine, and the buffet was a delight. They have hot entrées in shallow cauldrons that are constantly being refilled. The spread consisted of many vegetarian delights alongside a few meat entrées, such as deviled chicken and pork curry. My personal favorites were the eggplant, dal lentils, and the kale and coconut salad. Their papadam was light and delicious, so definitely don't skip those! Along another wall, the dessert station featured sago, chocolate, caramel, mango, and gooseberry puddings. The latter two were my absolute favorites.
B C — Google review
Sri Lankan food is showcased in its most natural taste and presentation. The entire atmosphere of the restaurant is amazing, from the exterior of the building to the entrance. You truly feel transported to a different place, discovering new flavors and enjoying food in new ways. We opted for the buffet experience, which was incredible, from the presentation to the moment we began eating. I must admit I don't know much about Sri Lankan culture beyond what I have read, but I find it fascinating to explore what their culture has to offer and to experience something new. The staff is extremely kind and ready to assist you. I definitely plan to return to try their menu; it’s a must-visit spot in Staten Island. I will write again after I sample their food once more, and I’m sure I’ll be amazed again! Parking the car was not difficult.

An amazing exotic atmosphere adds to your dining experience. Food is presented well and almost like eating art. Friendly staff. A group of 4 went there on a Saturday at 8pm and had no wait time. The meat options were buffet style so you grabbed what you wanted as you went instead of ordering each round. The staff will help you cook and changes grills about every 30 minutes. Many choices, and with cozy and intimate atmosphere, you’ll have a great time. The prime rib was excellent and don’t forget to grab and cream before you go!

3 of us did the all you can eat for $40, beverages are not included. Meats are pulverized and thinly sliced so it can cook quickly on the mini grill found at every table. They change the burnt grill rack often and offer to cut your meats . All meat/seafood are seasoned and offer spicy versions. They also have a small section of cooked foods. But you do come out smelling like the grill. It's unavoidable. The location itself is large, but it seems they miss cleaning some spots.

I’ve been to many KBBQs and Picnic Garden ranks very well against all of them. The best thing are the prices. It’s very fair compared to a lot of KBBQs in my experience. The selection is also very good. I recommend coming for lunch or just after the dinner rush. Closer to closing time there won’t be as much to choose from but still a lot to enjoy.

Came in, they brought us around not showing any of the prices on the wall. When asked what the lunch special was “as before”, staff just nodded. When I turned around at some point, I noticed the sign of the food. It is far cheaper to go somewhere else for a lunch special for the food, both nearby or in Flushing Main Street. For the price, the quality isn’t there at all. 40$ a person is hilarious.

Came here for early dinner on Saturday, timing was great, only a few groups already seated. Once you’re seated you go get your meats and veggies as well as cooked dishes from the bar area. They also have a wide variety of sauces. We tried almost every cut of beef, pork, and chicken. The best was marinated beef short ribs. The spicy beef and pork were good too when wrapped with the Korean lettuce. Strict 90 min all you can eat. Only take whatever you can eat, take small portions so you can try everything! Love how staff comes and changes your grill and takes away your plates pretty frequently

Restaurant
East Harbor Seafood Palace is a bustling and spacious Chinese eatery in Brooklyn, known for its freshly prepared dim sum favorites. Despite its size, the restaurant often has a wait for tables due to its popularity. The steamer carts move quickly through the hangar-like dining room, offering a wide range of classic dim sum dishes like siu mai, soy-braised chicken feet, duck tongue, and beef tendon. It's recommended to arrive early or be prepared to wait for a table.
Arrived at 10:55AM on a Sunday and got my party of four seated at 11:20AM. Super authentic Cantonese dimsum with the carts going around. The variety and portions are great! Shrimp dumplings, sticky rice, spring rolls, steamed rice rolls, pork buns, radish cake and tofu pudding just to name a few.
Carlo L — Google review
Food is good, can’t say great. Long wait at Sunday morning after 10. Not worth the wait to be honest. Like many other Chinese dim sum place, many people waiting to be seated stuck at the entrance near dining area. Better lower your expectation toward service and atmosphere.
CS N — Google review
Went on Sat at 9:20 am and got the last open table in the main area available. Good dim sum (steamed rice with chicken feet and spare rib) gone fast. The BBQ pork bun topping was not the best this round but the flaky BBQ is exceptional. Better get there if you don’t wanted to wait for dim sum.
Benjamin S — Google review
I had a really disappointing experience here. The waitress that served us was very pushy—she kept trying to upsell us to the most expensive dishes. On top of that, she spoke my hometown dialect and constantly interrupted our family conversation, which felt extremely rude and unprofessional. The presentation of the dishes looked nice, but the flavors were nowhere near what they used to be. It really seems like they’ve changed the chef. The Vancouver Crab Lotus Leaf Rice was especially awful—the sticky rice was far too greasy and completely lacked any lotus leaf aroma. Considering the high prices, the overall quality was very poor. Definitely not coming back.
Huifen L — Google review
I’ve been here a few times on both weekends and weekdays. Weekends are great if you want the classic dim sum cart experience but are busier with wait times and more crowding. Weekdays are better if you’re looking for a casual dinner. The dim sum, fresh seafood, and crab fried rice are all delicious and I will come back for them. Steak based dishes have been hit or miss for me. Definitely recommend coming here for the experience.

My TOP 10 in Brooklyn. BYOB option… 🥇🥇 Definitely some of the best dim sum in the east coast. The phoenix claws & shrimp dumplings are mandatory! It’s always busy so you know the food is fresh. Avoid weekends unless you come early otherwise expect 30-45 minutes wait time. Limited Valet parking based on availability. Can park bicycle inside the garage. 👍👍 Elevate your dining experience. Go big & get the 8 lbs king crab 🦀 🦀 update: Another great evening with buddy for the 10 lbs crab (a 3 course meal in itself ). Complemented with an Austin Hope from Paso Robles, CA. $800 dinner tab for 2 is a first for me. Highly recommended 😉😉

Food presentation was perfect and the quantity was more than enough, not to mention I got my delivery faster than expected and the gentleman was very nice. This is random but I loved the bag it came in also it keeps the food fresh. Definitely perfect for a night at home.

Sushi and Sashimi was very fresh and plentiful . Appetizers were tasty and the 2 Rum and cokes I had were pretty good. Very delicious. The place was very spacious and clean.

Always delicious. Great portion size. I always get the fried oysters with spicy mayo. Yummy! Thai chicken wings are huge and piping hot. Worth the trip!

The One Sushi is our go-to spot for Sunday afternoon family dinners! The food is consistently amazing, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. What truly sets them apart, however, is the exceptional service. Our grandchildren always have a blast with the friendly wait staff, who engage with them and make them feel like part of the experience. We love taking our family there. Highly recommended.

I can't say enough good things about this place. The sushi and appetizers were phenomenal. I really liked their twist on everything and variety in flavors didn't make everything taste the same. The sushi was very fresh and presentation was great. I love the ambiance and decor, which made for a beautiful setting and overall great experience. The staff was great too! Niki our beautiful server was very friendly and attentive, she even offered us a Sake on the house, which was much appreciated. This is a well worth visit and I will certainly be returning. Thanks for making it a great night of sushi!

THIS IS THE ONE!! Perfectly fitting name. Everything about this place is top notch as the name does not disappoint. Food, service, menu and even price was more than worth every cent. Let’s just say for 2 of us, we had -2 appetizers (steamed shrimp dumplings and fried calamari) , sushi (Passion rolls) and 2 combination hibachi entrees complete with soup and fried rice for $103. Waiters and waitresses were very attentive, food came out fast and hot. This is what you call top notch dining. Nothing was off whatsoever. Definitely recommend and will be back myself.

Very happy with this new place!! Live scallop appetizer, Kumamoto oysters from Japan, special roll (not pictured) and sushi sashimi dinner. Service was on point and the food even better. I didn’t get the bill but I don’t care it was that good. Lily was great as a server. So good we ordered 2 more rolls!!!

The food was pretty good but the male bartender was so extremely rude it was actually shocking. Not sure if he was just having a bad day but based on his attitude and the awful and slow service, we will not be back. So many great places nearby not worth coming here to be treated like that.

Nestled away in Brooklyn, N’Joy Family Cafe is a delightful gem that you might easily overlook if you're not paying attention. This charming eatery offers a diverse menu featuring delicious sushi, tender meats, and fresh salads that are sure to please any palate. Families will appreciate the spacious environment where kids can play freely while being entertained by dedicated staff members.
Amazing place hidden the way you'd walk by and wouldn't know it's there, which would be a loss for you - food is great, waiters are there to accommodate any of your reasonable requests. Sushi are good, meats are good, salads are nice too. Octopus was fine and tender. A lot of room for kids to play. There are dedicated people to entertain them, although you can see that takes toll on them. I enjoyed my time there, good place, good people.

I recently visited this fantastic restaurant in Brooklyn and was thoroughly impressed by the experience. The highlight of our visit was the exceptional service provided by a young gentleman at the counter, who reminded me of a character from “Peaky Blinders.” His professionalism, eloquence, and courteous demeanor made a lasting impression. The restaurant features a wonderful children’s playground, making it an ideal destination for families. My children had a great time playing while we enjoyed our meal in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. In a city filled with dining options, this restaurant truly stands out with the best service in Brooklyn. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a delightful dining experience combined with top-notch hospitality. We will definitely be returning soon!

Lovely place that caters to both adults and children. We were invited to a birthday party and had a great time. Manhattan needs a venue like this!!
Sabina B — Google review
To be honest it was a 3.5 stars. If it wasn’t for 30+ mins to get my breakfast that was everything but poached eggs and a waitress with insulting attitude I would of honestly gave it a 5 star review. Food actually tasted excellent, plates were generous, and place is clean-that includes the bathroom as well. As soon as we walked in today (Mother’s Day), we were told that everything is reserved but were offered the bar area which worked out fine as our 4 year old very much enjoyed the play area and we could keep an eye on him. The lady by the play area was very pleasant 5 stars to her as well :) We ordered for 3 people and for my wife and kid food came within 10 mins (very acceptable by our standards), but my entree came about 20 mins after where both my wife and kid were pretty much done. Thankfully whatever I got was delicious. Then I asked for regular coffee, which is what I assumed came out. When I bill came out it was billed as americano. When I brought it up to the waitress (Yana) she started arguing with me that it was Americano and because I didn’t say brewed coffee she brought out Americano. Obviously that didn’t slide well with me because I did say regular coffee, if I wanted americano (which was separately listed on the menu, if I am not mistaken and cost more). Her attitude was not pleasant.

Bar
Becco, located in New York City's Theater District, offers an elegant all-you-can-eat dining experience with a daily rotating trio of pasta dishes. The restaurant is known for its popular pasta buffet served every day of the week, featuring unlimited portions of specialty pastas like linguine with Long Island clams and artichoke ravioli. Co-owned by Lidia Bastianich, the restaurant also serves antipasto or salad alongside the pasta dishes.
Quaint restaurant with great food, service and atmosphere. Came here after seeing a musical and it didn’t disappoint. Their unlimited pasta was excellent with three different choices that change daily, all three were delicious! Their lasagna was very good and a great portion. Their fried mozzarella was so different than what we’ve had before but excellent and Lidia’s Gamberi (baked shrimp) were great! Definitely go check it out! Theirs dessert doesn’t disappoint either!
Alazandria C — Google review
Becco’s signature pasta trio was absolutely amazing—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Service was great and the overall dining experience was enjoyable. That said, the back of the restaurant felt a bit stuffy with limited airflow, making the atmosphere less comfortable. With some improvement to ventilation, this would be an easy 5-star spot.
Chris C — Google review
I tried the three-pasta dinner special at Becco. The antipasto that came with it was delicious, and while the pastas were good (not great), the pumpkin ravioli stood out as the clear winner. I sat at the bar, where the bartender was very friendly, and ended up next to a gentleman who’s been coming here for over 20 years. It really felt like a local favorite, with lots of return customers giving the place a welcoming, neighborhood vibe. The meat dishes I saw going by looked fantastic — I didn’t try them this time, but I suspect that’s where Becco really shines. Overall, it’s a lively and popular spot with a loyal following, worth visiting for the atmosphere and sense of community as much as the food.

A wonderfull place to dine. The food is delicious and prices are okay. The restaurant has a very nice ambiente. Choose the pasta trilogy as it is the signature dish. Make sure you have a reservation to get your table. Have fun and enjoy.

Absolute perfection!! Was a Bucket List Restaurant since Lidia Bastianich is one of my idol chefs. Everything was delicious. The only ding in service was that Google said they were open when I got there at 330pm, but apparently everyone was on a break until 4pm and the hostess was a tad snippy about it? Yet they keep the doors open? Then at 4pm, they shuffled everyone into a small space of the bar area to be seated. Otherwise it was an absolute dream!!!!
Kelcie Z — Google review
We dined at Becco tonight to celebrate my birthday, excited after years of watching MasterChef and eager to finally try one of Joe Bastianich’s restaurants. Perhaps I had built it up too much in my head, but the experience didn’t quite meet the expectations I had hoped for. The dining room was crowded and noisy, and we were seated at a very small two-top that made the meal feel like a game of Tetris with plates, glasses, and baskets competing for space. We started with the antipasto plate, which felt more like a mishmash than a curated appetizer — undercooked vegetables, some beans, a lone cube of cheese, and a few other odds and ends that didn’t come together as a cohesive dish. Since I didn’t want fish, I was brought some whipped ricotta with honey and a bowl of peas. Not really sure how that made sense. For our mains, we both ordered the popular three-pasta special — pumpkin ravioli, penne vodka with shrimp, and spaghetti with garlic, olive oil, and broccoli. The pastas are brought table-side, though the presentation felt more rushed than refined, with pots carried over and portions simply scooped onto plates. The food itself was a mixed experience. The pumpkin ravioli was the highlight — flavorful and comforting, though the sauce leaned a bit oily. I appreciated that the waiter accommodated me with penne vodka without shrimp, which was thoughtful. Unfortunately, the spaghetti was undercooked and clumped together, which made it hard to enjoy. The biggest issue of the evening was our seating location directly under an air-conditioning vent. Between conversation and bites, my entire plate of food became cold before I could finish it — disappointing for a celebratory meal. I packed up my ravioli to go and the rest was tossed in the trash. Overall, while Becco has its charm and history, the experience tonight felt more rushed and less polished than expected for such a highly regarded restaurant.

Great food and great service. Didn't have to worry about our water not being filled or leaving with our stomachs half empty. Expensive but worth the price you pay and its not a pricey restaurant you leave feeling unsatisfied

Becco is one of my favorite spots in the city! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service is always attentive without being overbearing. Their famous pasta tasting is a must-try!!! Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly portioned. The wine list is excellent as well, with great options at reasonable prices. Every time I come here, I leave happy and satisfied. Highly recommend Becco for a delicious Italian experience in NYC!

Event venue
Nestled in a charming village of shops, The Milleridge Inn is a historic gem that has been delighting visitors for over 300 years. This Colonial-style restaurant offers an inviting ambiance with its cozy fireplace and classic decor. Renowned for its legendary Grand Sunday Buffet Brunch, it features an impressive array of fresh dishes, from traditional breakfast favorites to sumptuous seafood and carving stations. Long Islanders hold this venue close to their hearts as it embodies the essence of their community's rich history.
I attended a pre Mother’s Day brunch event held for the ladies of LICOA on May 4, 2025. The event catered to approximately 80 people in my party and it was run decidedly very well. The ambiance of the facility was quite unique, and lent a fine old Long Island country flair. It was rather classy if I must say! The food… oh the food…. It was absolutely 💯 delicious! They’re were several, at least two omelette stations, a cold cheese and salad spread, nice assortment of fresh cut fruits, another generous area of hot lunches serving a divine lamb stew, yummy chicken franchise, hot pasta dishes, an array of cold and hot seafood such as shrimp cocktail, king crab legs, oysters and the works! The desert spread included a variety of sliced cakes, cannoli, pastries, brownies, cookies, cobblers and pies etc. Needless to say I sampled the goodies and it did not disappoint my tastebuds! This fine catering facility, The Milleridge Inn here on Long Island has for sure made my list of superb, well run establishments. I’ll certainly be coming back here very soon! The staff were attentive, friendly and very accommodating. For such a large crowd in my event, taking into consideration that there was also another event, a baby shower being held in another section, we never felt neglected in service in any way. Parking… there was plenty and more than ample parking. The lot is huge. As for wheelchair accessibility, it surely is, I saw a ramp when you entered the front doors so that makes for easy entry with a wheelchair. This facility is also family and kid friendly. I highly recommend The Milleridge Inn for all of your catering needs! Its location is perfect of any event from weddings, to baby showers and dinners to brunches. 06/15/25~Response to Owner: Thanks for the kind words! I’m happy to support local businesses like yours.

Went for a friends Christmas party, some of my party had an issue at the bar, being overcharged for happy hour drinks, service was nice but slow, Carolers to request from our table and sang, very festive. I got a breadless Brigade Eggplant sandwich. It was fine but portion was small. Someone else got the price fixed Yankee Pot Roast dinner which came with soup and dessert. It was tasty as was the bowl of mushroom soup.

I love Milleridge Inn. we were there on a bit of an off night. We had a party of 9 people. Everyone raved about the cauliflower appetizer, my pot roast sandwich was incredibly good. No one else was enthusiastic about their meals, unfortunately their delicious popovers were not available and there were limited dessert selections. But still four stars. Love the place and will be back, it just wasn't as stellar as usual.
Adam F — Google review
We went for dinner and were truly impressed by the beauty of the place. Each room has its own charm, and walking through them while reading about the history was a great experience. As for the food; it was just okay. I’d give it 1 out of 5 stars if you’re going for the meals alone. If you’re expecting a flavorful or standout dining experience, this may not be the right spot. That said, their drinks, cinnamon bread, French fries, pork chops, and mac and cheese were all surprisingly delicious and worth trying, but the rest of the food was 1 star.
Nemesis M — Google review
We had a lovely time at the Milleridge Inn. It was our first time dining at the restaurant and it was perfect. The restaurant is decorated for the holidays and is absolutely charming. If you decide to visit take note of all the vintage decor throughout the restaurant. There's so many great pieces. The Food was excellent! My salad was enormous, I had to take half of it home. We really enjoyed the food and plan to come back again to try out some of their other items. The waitress was so sweet and attentive. She was very familiar with the property and we enjoyed chatting with her about the property. There is a beautiful little village that is over the top with decorations for the holidays. I couldn't believe how beautifully decorated it was. We even caught the Peacocks sleeping in the trees. There is a bakery, General Store, Christmas Store, Ice Cream Parlor, and a little bar and grill in the village. The bar and grill is offering some holiday events with the Grinch which looks pretty cool. It was really nice to stroll through and browse the shops. There are kids games, activities, a train ride, and games also available, but thats only open on the weekends.
Emily B — Google review
Went in late November, it was all decorated for Christmas which I loved, very cozy, was able to sit in front of fireplace. They give you a warm cinnamon bread before your meal which was amazing! I ordered the French onion soup which had so much cheese just the way I like it, we shared a roast sandwich to share and I’m glad we did because it was big with fries. They also have a bar and sitting area. Big parking lot, they had a Christmas village but only open on weekends which was a shame, I would have loved to get a coffee and pastry shop around and get some unique gifts☹️

Heard it was supposed to be a good place, so we tried it. Food was very bland tasting. I had the fillet it was just ok, very little flavor to it. Calamari was probably the worst I have ever had, again no flavor and extremely chewy. To end the meal I got a bowl of hollandaise sauce dumped on me by the bus girl. Only positive I find about this place is a cool historical building.
Justin Z — Google review
We love this charming restaurant. It is really is one of a kind. The decorations are just over the top and we just love being there. After we eat in the restaurant we love heading over to the shops. We sat in the corner and the place was just busy. Didn’t wait too long for a table. The rodizo was amazing. It’s just people bring you meat after meat after meat. This is some of the best sides I ever had. The fries were fresh and crispy. The rice was so good and the vegetables wow. I’m not a vegetable person but those carrots were so good. The sausages were absolutely delicious. Some of the best steaks I’ve had. The waiter was very attentive. Before the drinks were even finished he was bring over refills. China Buffet King is a budget-friendly Chinese buffet located in a strip mall. The restaurant offers a wide variety of food options including meats, seafood, salads, fried finger foods, soups, and more. Customers have praised the fantastic food selection and the quality of the dishes. The staff is known for being friendly and attentive while maintaining a clean and pleasant dining environment. Some customers have noted that the calamari was slightly oily but still tasty with plenty of other food choices available.
Came here on a Sunday around 1pm for lunch. Been a while since we’ve been here last. Food is great and constantly getting refilled. A bit disappointed with calamari because it was a bit oily- still tastes good and lots of food selection. They have individually packed ice cream with 4 different flavors- vanilla, chocolate, lemon, and orange. Staff are nice and constantly coming to our table to check if they can remove used plates or need a drink refill. The restroom is also clean. Price is really great - $11.99 for lunch and $16.99 for dinner. I definitely recommend. 👍

Me and my husband went there to eat dinner. The selection was lackluster but for the price point it was to be expected. The sushi was old and did not taste good. But other food was good. They serve coke products if that is important for you. At the end of the service, the waitress was staring at my husband intently until he paid the tip. I would come back but now I do not want to due to the rude waitress. Treat the paying customer with the utmost respect. Shameless staff is unacceptable. If you want a better buffet, go to the one in Rockway Center or DJ Buffet in Garden City near the mall. Do not come at all here.
Fatema N — Google review
The service was good in the beginning refilling drinks and all but then tasting the food, it was not good it tasted uncooked and probably old. Then going to the restroom there was poop on the toilet seat which was DISGUSTING they obviously don’t clean well and the tables looked so worn out. And to top it all off the server didn’t appreciate our tip and kept asking for more money and that’s crazy to us so never will I bring my family here again.
Brittany — Google review
I came in here excited to try a new buffet in this area and everything went fine the food was good enough but when checking out the lady was insisting for tip and I asked if it was mandatory she told me no so I gave her the receipt back. She proceeded to tell me no you have to give tip in a very pressuring attitude. She wouldn’t walk away from the table until we paid and tipped.
Andrea V — Google review
***Response to Owner*** I came an hour and half of your closing hour. If you don't want to provide the same quantity and quality of food at opening hours, then don't charge the same towards the closing hours. How is that fair to a paying customer? So I have to pay full price and receive half the service and food just because you want to prepare to close over an hour before you posted closing time? If that's the case, close your restaurant earlier. ******************************** Very disappointed with this place. Used to be decent but now, they just don’t care. They barely had full trays of anything. About a 1/3 of the items were finished. When I asked if they can refill certain items, it was “too much” for them to do. I gave them 2 stars only because when I asked for them to refill the general tsao chicken and chicken and broccoli, they went in the back and brought some out. The crab was definitely not fresh. If anything, I would recommend going on a very busy day like Sunday at noon so you know the food is moving and everything is probably going to be full and possibly fresh.
Justin M — Google review
It’s been a pretty long time since I came to this buffet. So i decided to come today with my family. got in everything seemed fine we got seated quickly food was okay. Serving was good. At the end they gave us our bill no problem. Then the waiter or the woman in the front come to grab our payment and she saw the total and saw the tip and said “tooo litttle”to give more I was a bit confused mind you I never experienced something like this I took the tip back and paid for the bill and left never again will I come to this place being forced to give more tip.
Mayra S — Google review
I am not writing this review to tell you what to do with your hard-earned money. I am going to share my thoughts and you make your own decision if you would like to try this place or not. For the price, you paid this has to be one of the best buffets in town. The food selection is fantastic. It has meats, seafood, green and cold salads, fried finger food, soups, and more. The tasty and quality are great. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the buffet is always nice and clean. Many people like to buy food per pound here and eat it at the restaurant. However, I love to pay about or less than what I would typically pay for a lunch special at a Chinese takeout place and chose my own food and as much or as little as I want. Love this place.

I’ve dine in to this place like 4 times and like twice my family and i felt really bad after eating the food. One time when i went to take out some food, it all looked really greasy and I couldn’t even finish the food because it looked and tasted really gross. There isn’t even that much variety of food, and there are only like 4 types of sushis. Also the place looks really dark and it doesn’t even look that pretty.

Went for lunch couple days ago. Price is not bad 15.99 but any child brought in is $10 if they are eating or not. The tables are all sticky due to use and age place is dated looks like from the original day they opened. Food wise it’s was ok nothing to get excited about but nothing that was gross. Sushi was 50/50 some tasted good others seemed a little old from sitting I assume. The biggest thing that annoyed me was your expect to leave a 15 tip regardless. I can’t stand places that tell u what u will tip. I base it on service im provided which honestly there not doing anything aside giving you your drink and Checks. I did hear one person told by a waiter no u must give more so that was that. I won’t come back for that alone. Some people will disagree but that’s my review

Excellent alternative if you have chronic constipation. Went to bathroom and heard two people making joyful noises behind doors. We were here years ago and remember it was good back then. I just created a label on Google map "Don't go!" to remind myself.

I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. The food was okay, but my chicken was undercooked and the desert was just okay. It’s $21.99 per adult.

Flaming Grill & Buffet is a diverse dining destination offering American, Japanese, and Chinese cuisine. Operating hours are from 11 am to 10 pm on Sundays through Thursdays, and from 10 am to 10:30 pm on Fridays and Saturdays. Visitors praise the inviting atmosphere and reasonable prices. The buffet features a variety of dishes including kimchi, chicken feet, and crab legs at an average cost of around $20 per person.
Absolutely outstanding buffet! Incredible service and every dish was full of flavor, definitely a perfect 10/10.

Price for each adult $18.99. Wednesday dinner. Amazing hibachi section with raw chicken, beef, steak, eggs, noodles ready to be cooked. Most of the food in this buffet was fresh except the steak in the trays). They were a little sour, but hibachi steak was fresh though. but other than that most the food was delicious. I wouldn’t say there was a lot of variety, but you get what you get for $18. Ice cream was good and my favorite was the fried fish. The service speed was amazing though. Incredibly fast. Drinks are $2.5 each with unlimited refills. No wait and no time limit.

They're VERY fast at buffing tables so you never have to wait long if you have a pretty small group of 4-5 people. My family is pretty picky when it comes to food but everyone was able to find something they really enjoyed enough to want to come back! The prices are pretty great too. The seafood was great although I do wish they had something to indicate if an item was spicy. Our server was very accommodating too and took our plates fast, refilled drinks fast, and even went out of her way to make a special birthday plate! They even have cute souvenirs that you can buy too! They're around $1-$10 with the really cute stuff being $8 and $5. I'm 100% going to buy one every time we go now that I'm aware! You can even buy children's training chopsticks!

Service for drink refills isn’t the best, but the buffet itself makes up for it. There are plenty of delicious options, ice cream cups for the kids, and even a hibachi grill in the back. The space is large with lots of seating and a big parking lot. Prices are very reasonable for the variety, and the food is constantly being refreshed. The atmosphere is great, overall, I really enjoy this place.

Crab House Brooklyn offers an all-you-can-eat menu for $80/$85, allowing you to sample a wide variety of seafood options. The Cajun crabs are recommended, while the appetizers are not as impressive as the main dishes. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and they accept both cash and card payments. Parking meters are conveniently located outside the restaurant. The atmosphere on the second floor is pleasant, with good music adding to the dining experience.
If you love lobster, this is the place to be. Everything was extremelyfresh. we especially enjoyed the salt and pepper, fried lobster and raw oysters. Everything else was at least eight out of 10. The flat iron steaks spicy blue crab was 9 out of 10. The service was outstanding. I’m glad I don’t live close to here because I’ll gain 100 pounds. Overall this was a wonderful experience. I’m glad that I came.

Went here to celebrate our anniversary. It was our first time here. Our server Yung, was great he kept everything moving. The food came out quickly and sizzling hot. Everything was delicious, loved the garlic noodles, salt and pepper lobster and the iron steak. Drinks were also good.

This is not your average seafood buffet! I went here for a date, and I’m so happy we took the drive to Brooklyn. Not only was the food amazing, but the service was even better. My waitress, Star, was beyond attentive and helpful! She gave me suggestions on what to order, which was very helpful considering I’m a very indecisive person. Her service alone would bring me back here. The food was a 10/10! I’d definitely recommend paying for the lobster all you can eat option as it was more than worth it. Honestly, I think they should raise the price because that’s how good it was, and there was so much food they provided. The drinks were just as good! My favorite was the scorpion. I’d definitely recommend starting off with that one, it wont disappoint.

Great first experience! 90$ per person for the buffet minus the lobster. We didn’t get the lobster buffet because there was a lot to choose from with the regular buffet menu. We tried mostly everything— service was so quick and attentive. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who likes seafood !! There’s a bib, napkins, and a small trash can at every table for convenience. We definitely needed those napkins! If you don’t mind eating in a quiet space, going afternoon (2-4pm) would be good. There was barely anyone at the restaurant during those hours which was nice. Some things on the menu that we loved: - spicy shrimp - seabass - snow crabs - scallop - crab Rangoon - spicy crab - iron steak I wouldn’t recommend the noodles or fried chicken

Went here with friends and the host was really helpful. He was very accommodating and made sure we were comfortable and had enough room for our motorized chairs. Since we were new, he explained the contactless buffet and how the menu worked. He combined two tables and left garbage cans to throw our trash away which was nice. The food was hot and beyond delicious. Staff was attentive and food kept coming: Seafood, chicken, fish, steak, rice...just yummi. Even the water was good. Only thing missing was dessert, but since we were in Coney Island, we had options. Yes, the price tag was high but its worth it ($90 seafood, $135 to include lobster) with a 2 hr time limit (it's more than enough). Will definitely visit again. 😋❤️

I'm giving four stars bc the service is great, they get real cute with the birthday stuff, and there's variety/quantity. So if you only liked one type of shrimp, you can eat as much as you want, so you're leaving full even if you're only satisfied with a few things. I heard someone rave about this place and when I went myself, I figured they were impressed bc they're not used to nice things so they think it's the best. By no means is this phenomenal, but it's good-ish. If you don't eat much, save your coin. The whole fish was probably my favorite thing, along with the sauce that the calamari comes with. Yes ... The sauce. Have the lobster cakes with the calamari sauce..... Yum! The strawberry lemonade was also really good (no free refills). I didn't drink any alcohol, I came to eat! I'd come back if someone else was paying but I've had better..... No shade. I also think the crab was kind of overcooked. Either the meat was sticking to the shell or there was no meat. The steak is clutch WITH the minced garlic, otherwise it's meh. I think our fav shrimp was the spicy shrimp, kind of overcooked but the best flavor of all the shrimps we had and the sauce on the broccoli? Hated it. They could add more sides to the menu in my personal opinion. I didn't take a whole lot of pics.... My hands were dirty lol (no gloves. And we did ask so idk if they forgot or don't have any). The cheesecake was also really good (my friend surprised me).

This culinary haven offers an impressive selection of 15 different cuts of meat, including beef, lamb, chicken, and pork—all served in unlimited portions to satisfy even the heartiest appetites.
We came here for a birthday. I had signed up for Fogo Rewards and so we found an amazing special. Genuinely it was probably the best experience I've had at a Brazilian Barbeque in the States. Devin and Pablo gave us great service. The food was phenomenal. We arrived early and they were so accommodating. Can't say enough food things about it! Only wish I could eat more (I was stuffed!!!)

This is a super place. It's not cheap but still provides value. The organisation of the prices is a little confusing as the staff assume you know more than you do. There are basically two paths; a. Unlimited meat at a higher price b. One cut offer where you get 2/3 slices of the cut of beef you select. I don't know how they keep count of this. But apparently they do. But it puts you as a customer in a position that feels uncertain. Then there is the coaster. If it is turned on the red side it means you've had enough. If you put this with the green side up you allowing the team to come around with meat and keep coming. So yes confusing not simple and unnecessarily so. The staff have to take more time to clarify and ensure "first timers" get it. So I eventually enjoyed the service but didn't enjoy the confusion! The Brazilian lemonade is excellent!!!

We’re so happy Fogo de Chão finally opened in Downtown Manhattan. The space is beautiful – modern and elegant. The food is absolutely delicious, as always. The service was top-notch – super attentive and welcoming. I did have a funny (and slightly dramatic 😅) moment when I slipped and fell on the stairs near the buffet area. Luckily, I wasn’t hurt, but those steps are really slippery, so hopefully they’ll add something anti-slip soon. Otherwise, 10/10 experience, and we’ll definitely be back!

I visit restaurants daily for work but I love to review Fogo's new locations. Visited this location 4 times which gave me a more accurate view. The service here is spectacular. I bumped into Rogelio who was at the brooklyn location as a customer service rep and although in a different position still spectacular. I'm not sure why this company hasn't put him in a position to assist them (as they are still in need of help). They should use him in management as he's talented and moldable.

Fogo is wonderful! The meat is tender and the salad bar is elite!!! Rafaela and the staff treated us with courtesy and care!! The new space is gorgeous and conveniently located next to Oculus (subway and path access). Chinese restaurant
Hou Yi Hot Pot is an all-you-can-eat Chinese restaurant where you can customize your own hot pot meals. The restaurant offers a variety of soup bases, including options like Thai spicy pork and pickled cabbage, with even the mild broth being intensely spicy. For around $40 per person, you get 100 minutes to enjoy unlimited meats, noodles, vegetables, and fish. The place also features a self-serve ice cream station.
Amazingly good restaurant. Don’t be fooled by the plain-looking exterior — inside, it’s incredibly clean and welcoming. The food is absolutely delicious — easily the best hotpot I’ve had at manhattan. Everything was fresh and flavorful. The owner (the lady who served us) was so kind and warm, truly made us feel at home.
Yuiko Z — Google review
Ambiance (4/5): Plenty of seating and we were spaced far enough apart from other patrons. The sauce station is tucked away in a cramped corner. It felt like a no-frills hot pot place. Service (5/5): We never felt rushed and felt like the service was on point. The time from when we order to delivery is definitely faster than competitors. Food (4/5): The shared pot has 2 flavors to choose from. Meats selection tasted great and there was a variety of veggies and noodles to pick from. The AYCE also includes soft drinks (loved the grass jelly) and an ice cream bar with like 12 different flavors with toppings like M&Ms and pocky sticks! Orders are placed via a paper menu. There were no premium meats and there was a lack of sauce options. We did not try any of the seafood.
Steph W — Google review
Hou Yi Hot Pot operates on a first-come, first-served basis, so reservations aren't accepted, and there's often a wait. That said, this is a fantastic hot pot spot! The soup bases are exceptional--I tried the spicy pickled cabbage beef (HOT), and it lived up to its name. It's incredibly spicy and absolutely delicious, but I wouldn't recommend it unless you can handle serious heat. You can choose between a large shared pot or individual pots, and the menu features a wide variety of meats, seafood, vegetables, and drinks. The sauce station offers plenty of options to customize your flavors, and I appreciated the self-serve selection of soft drinks straight from the fridge. They also have a nice touch with ice cream options, including cups and cones, to cool down after your meal. All things considered, it offers excellent value. The only downside was feeling a bit rushed due to the crowd waiting for tables, but overall, it was a great experience. I'll definitely be back!
Jamie L — Google review
It is great. You make your own sauce, you pick your broth(up to2), then you order ingredients on a paper, they come collect and then bring it to you. Self service drinks in fridge, and all the ingredients are ok good. My fav was the customizable clear broth. Its pretty bland on its own, but add your own twist with the sauce station and youre all set. One bathroom but very spacious.

Great dining experience. Large selection of soup base, seafood, meat, veggies, etc. Food is relatively fresh. Service is immaculate, servers were very attentive and helped cleared our empty plates quickly. They were also quick to bring us our dishes. Loved the Gelato bar and the unlimited drinks. I've visited this place twice and it hasn't let me down. I think this place is ran by a family so if you're about supporting local and family business, I would highly recommend this location.

Excellent hot pot, great service (thank you Sandy!), and comfortable setting. Love this place, go when you are hungry ($40+ pp all you can eat in 100 minutes). On a cold and rainy day, go early, otherwise, be prepare to wait. We went at about 6pm on a rainy Saturday, it was quite busy but we only had to wait about 15 minutes. But afterwards, I think people had to wait quite a long time. We were quite happy with the very extensive selections of spicy and non-spicy soup base. We tried a beef based and a vegetarian based, both were very good. There is also a large selection of meat, tofu, balls, vegetables. Try a bit of many things and they are very prompt in getting seconds and adding soup when we needed. Alcohol drinks are extra, but all the soft drinks and ice creams (!) are part of the deal, including coconut drinks, lychee drinks, and yogurt juices! There are also many different flavors of ice creams after you are fully satisfied from the hot pot, so be sure to save just a little bit of room. Excellent Service: several servers were all pretty friendly, our waitress Sandy was particularly warm and helpful. She offered us to the drinks while we were waiting for our table, and she was prompt, courteous, and patient during our meal. I know the servers are pretty busy and stressed in these types of busy hot pot places, so I think it’s worth noting. The other thing about the service was: I think they set up their processes very well. As we walked in, we can see all the vegetables were organized neatly in the front, so when they get our orders, they can quickly get everything for us in a few minutes. Tips: the shrimp pastes were pretty special, you can put it in with the tofu dishes as soon as they start heating the soups. They should be ready once the soup boils. Restroom: just one unisex room, they kept it pretty clean.

Family restaurant
The IKEA Restaurant is a popular chain eatery known for its Swedish-inspired cuisine, such as classic meatballs and salmon dishes. Located at 1100 Broadway Mall in Hicksville, it's a favorite among IKEA enthusiasts. The buffet offers delectable Swedish meatballs, soups, and salads at reasonable prices with ample seating for families and larger groups. While some visitors praise the delicious food like Swedish meatballs and lemonade, others have noted occasional service issues or confusion with signage.
Very convenient restaurant inside the IKEA. It's on the second floor at the end of the showroom route, a perfect time to refuel, rest and get ready for shopping on the first floor. Swedish meatballs are the signature dishes. The size of the meatballs is on the small side. I suggest ordering 12 instead of the default 8. Chicken tenders are quite juicy. There are two choices for drinks, hot and cold, depending on the drinkware you will pickup at the checkout. They have coffee, water, sparkling water, and Swedish soda. The pear sparkling water is our favorite.
Anwei C — Google review
After hours of shopping, we got hungry and stopped by the restaurant. Food there is always fresh, delicious and cheap. We had the Swedish meatballs ( both original and plant based ones) and they were delightfully flavorful, perfectly complemented by the creamy gravy and tart lingonberry sauce. Baled cod was also delicious. Of course we finished with desserts - cheesecake and almond caramel cake.
Lou M — Google review
Love the Swedish meatball plate here. Great value for money. The staff is surprisingly pleasant considering the crowds they deal with. Lines can be long, especially if both service sides are not open. The soda machines are often not working that well and you have to be careful about which flavor you choose, if you like carbonation. Note I think the restaurant opens at 10am, but they don't serve the meatballs until 11am. That is not clear on their website or on any signage. There is plenty of open and well lit seating due to the floor to ceiling windows.

The meatball dish should have 8 meatballs in total, and we bought additional 4, which should end up with 12. But we only received 11. If they are selling it in counts, they should better count it right for the customer. The chicken tender is fine.

Okay, so I've been to the IKEA restaurant before, So I'm going to base this review on this visit This is the first time I've been to the IKEA restaurant for breakfast. Their breakfast decent, kind of cold rather plain but does the job and for the amount of food I got for roughly about $13 in Brooklyn. You can't really complain too much. I feel like everybody who works at this Ikea really hates their job. The lady who had the unfortunateness of being the dining cashier in the morning seems to hate her job more than anybody on earth. She's like the ultimate cafeteria lady. She don't have time for your friendly banter or to have learned customer service skills. She is there strictly for her paycheck. If New York City attitude was a person, they work at IKEA Brooklyn In the restaurant ringing people up for breakfast on Sunday morning. I kind of feel like everybody who works in this place. Just got stuck in the maze there and couldn't find their way out so they might as well have applied . I simply asked if they were still selling breakfast and she barks its all we're selling at the moment She was barking on me to get on the line as I was going to grab one of those things to put my tray on. Lord knows I am not carrying that across the expanse of this dining room. So after that warm &friendly greeting and then having to wait for the two people behind the service line to finish the conversation to be served I proceed to take my lukewarm food That was still warmer than the greeting I got from the cashier, to sit and eat near the windows so I have an unobstructed view of.. well Amazon. Apparently since the last time I had been here, IKEA had decided to remodel their dining area. Very nice. They put some very comfortable couches but that said... they put some very comfortable couches IN THE DINING AREA. So you're sitting all the way back away from the small table. Not really ideal for eating FOOD. I suppose I could have gotten up and moved to a table that sustained eating like a human a little better but the closest one was like a large family style tables I didn't want to be that jerk. .I don't see this lasting very long. I feel food is going to get in the couch and it's going to be hard for the staff to clean. And we all know how the Ikea people feel about working there. So you know... The cleaning is probably not going to get done properly. I also kind of feel like at some point all the tourists are going to come here and frankly well this is NYC and you know in the summer when people visit sometimes they bring stowaways with them. So you can possibly go to IKEA now and not only purchase a bed but also bring the bugs home with you to complete the NYC experience. Not at the moment but I can see it getting like sitting at the end of the subway car... Okay so now when I go to IKEA I can't sit near the window to eat and enjoy Amazon views. I'm kind of sad about this. This day I had an extra special view of the giant cruise ship that apparently was parked in the harbor that was blocking the rest of my view. It was pretty cool but I'll have to give that up to eat like a human. Ikea also apparently add a few of the biggest horse flies I've ever seen in my life( like I seriously didn't know flies got this big), it was a nice touch for the at home ambiance that Ikea was apparently going for. It's very nice that they're trying to upgrade their dining experience. Unfortunately they haven't figured out how to upgrade their food serving units to keep the food hot. Or hire people who can pretend they like their job. Although I don't mind their buffet style food service, I kind of think that perhaps they could give a little more option to their breakfast menu. I do enjoy their lunch menu but it's also slightly limited. (Their food counter on the 2nd floor, however never has any of the food. They always run out of everything every time I'm here. So if you're hungry at IKEA the restaurants your only option at times) All in all, if you are dining at IKEA's restaurant, may the odds be ever in your favor! hij!

Mamajuana Cafe Huntington is a vibrant culinary gem that offers an exquisite blend of Dominican, Caribbean, and Latin flavors. The restaurant's menu is a feast for the senses, featuring high-quality dishes like guacamole, red snapper, and asabuco that leave diners craving more. The ambiance is lively and inviting, enhanced by attentive staff who ensure a memorable dining experience. One recent visitor praised the exceptional service from their waitress on her first day—an impressive feat!
I would give 5 stars for food also, if not for the fact mine was salty a bit. I did notify the host. My waiter Alex was very good. One more suggestion is to make the banana side smaller and a bit softer. Restaurant charges 18% service charges on all bills. Also, the mixed drinks and shots are pricey. Once you add sales tax and service charges, the drinks can cost north of $20. They also have outside seating with heaters. Reservations are recommended on weekends. There's also a DJ playing latin music. All in all, it's a very good Dominican restaurant and you can give it a go!

I was so excited to try this place out and I was so disappointed! Food wasn’t it ,drinks weren’t good, we had the churrasco with yuca fries , waitress said Ribeye was sold out ? How’s that possible on a Sat night ? The skirt steak was incredibly salty , yuca fries were dry .. the service was incredibly bad , she took 15mins to bring us anything we need it ! And it wasn’t even that busy , I think she kept forgetting us because we were sitting outside. Overall bad experience sadly I won’t be coming back.

For weeks, the allure of dining at this particular restaurant had been tantalizing my taste buds. Finally, the moment arrived, and I stepped inside, only to be greeted by an overwhelming display of lights, hinting at the restaurant's popularity among food enthusiasts and influencers. Despite feeling slightly intimidated by the spectacle, my excitement remained undiminished. As I sat down and perused the menu, I couldn't help but marvel at the array of tantalizing options. Each dish that graced my table was a testament to the chef's mastery of flavor. From the first bite to the last, every morsel danced on my palate, leaving me craving more. However, it was the bread pudding paired with a generous scoop of velvety ice cream that truly stole the show. The warm, comforting sweetness of the pudding juxtaposed perfectly with the cool creaminess of the ice cream, creating a harmonious symphony of flavors that lingered long after the last spoonful was savored. Despite the initial distraction of the cameras, my culinary journey at this restaurant was nothing short of extraordinary. Saketumi Asian Bistro is a trendy yet laid-back restaurant located in Brooklyn, New York. It offers a diverse range of Asian cuisine, including straightforward sushi, Thai, and Malaysian dishes. The restaurant is known for its high-quality and fresh ingredients used in their sushi and modern interpretations of classic Japanese dishes. Customers have praised the excellent service and friendly staff at Saketumi.
Stopped by for a solo quick bite before an event in the neighborhood. The waitstaff were super warm and attentive. Since it was the day before LNY, they wished me a happy new year! I had the dinner bento w. beef negimaki and tofu teriyaki. The portion size is large. On a separate note, they really care for their customers. They even went out of their way to call a cab for a regular who had a little too much to drink.

Absolutely fantastic experience at Saketumi! The sushi boat was incredible – so fresh and beautifully presented. The salad was also a standout. Everything tasted amazing. Highly recommend for delicious and artfully prepared Japanese food! A real gem.

Consistently good food and great service. I love the yaki soba chicken noodles and the miso soup. The chicken teriyaki bento box with sauce on the side is great. Generous portions. I ordered no rice no salad and racially received extra miso soup. Love this place!

Very good! I ordered takeout here, so I can't speak much to the service or ambiance, but the food was great. I ordered one of their online lunch specials, two special rolls for $15 (came with salad). Excellent deal! I had the rainbow roll and the lobster tempura roll. Both were great.

Absolutely delicious! We got the bento katsu chicken lunch special and pineapple chicken fried rice. Thank you for the meal. We will be back <3

Remarkably gracious and effective service to our rowdy crowd of 10 including four or five young people. Terrific value… Go for the bento box, you will not be disappointed! In a way I felt like we were transported back in time 30 years given the prices and the portions. An absolute must hear in the Heights.

Windows On The Lake is a picturesque wedding venue situated in Ronkonkoma, New York, offering a serene waterfront setting for couples to celebrate their special day. With stunning views of Lake Ronkonkoma, the venue provides an ideal backdrop for creating magical and unforgettable wedding celebrations. Guests can indulge in a delectable brunch featuring a variety of culinary delights such as smoked salmon and bagels, made-to-order omelets, international cheese displays, and more.
We had an unforgettable wedding at Windows on the Lake! We had our wedding in December, and it was nothing short of amazing! From the very beginning, their communication with us was outstanding. The team was always available to answer our questions, offer guidance, and make sure everything was just right. They were incredibly flexible, which made the entire planning process smooth and stress-free. The food was absolutely delicious! Our guests are still raving about the risotto and the wedding cake with cannoli filling—it was a huge hit. The bar service was also top-notch, and I was especially excited that they were able to include Blue Point Brewery on tap, which made me, the groom, very happy! The staff at Windows on the Lake went above and beyond to make sure our big day was perfect. Everyone was friendly, professional, and on top of everything. A special shoutout to Valentina, our bridal assistant—she was an absolute lifesaver! When my wife had a last-minute hair dilemma, Valentina stepped in and saved the day. She was incredibly attentive from start to finish, and we truly couldn’t have asked for anyone better. Overall, the venue was phenomenal. Everyone had an amazing time, and even weeks later, our guests are still talking about how fun the wedding was. If you’re looking for a beautiful venue with outstanding service, incredible food, and a staff that truly cares, Windows on the Lake is the perfect choice!

As a photographer, I loved working at Windows at the Lake. They understand that your photos and videos are important to you and do everything possible for their clients to get the best pictures possible. They know that beyond the experience of having your event at their location, your photographs are how you will remember that day. Thank you for your professionalism.

Windows on the Lake is an amazing water front venue. Our wedding was beautiful. We had our ceremony and reception here. The staff and owner put in a ton of effort for our wedding. They did so much to make the entire day special. The service, Attention to detail and professionalism was top notch. The owner Anthony is wonderful to work with and he delivered beyond our expectations. From the start Danielle the receptionist assisted us with making appointments and she is always friendly and easy going. My bridal attendant Vickie was outstanding and she made sure we were taken care of throughout the day. Our maitreD Luis Rios was super professional and kept us on schedule. They made sure everything was running accordingly and brought us food & drinks without having to ask. Our guest were raving about how delicious the food was. The food and bar service were exceptional. Their ballroom is absolutely breathtaking. We loved seeing the view of the lake from the ballroom. It’s very elegant and timeless. They packed up food for us to take home to enjoy before leaving for our honeymoon. I absolutely love this venue and I look forward to visiting for other events. I would highly recommend them for taking care of your most special day! They accommodated all of our needs. It is truly a one of a kind wedding venue!

The owner has asked for reasons for my 3 star review... I attended a fundraiser here. The parking couldn't accommodate the number of attendees. I'm glad I was able to get there early enough to find a parking spot. Steps everywhere- step up here, step down there. Inside it was hot! The indoor patio was hot. But what was worse was the ballroom where we were packed like sardines with no air circulation. The staff had difficulty maneuvering past seats to serve food. The staff was cordial. The food was good. Overall this place is fair.

Absolutely stunning! From start to finish, our experience at the venue was nothing short of magical. The venue itself is breathtaking, with a charming, elegant atmosphere that set the perfect backdrop for our wedding. The staff were incredibly attentive and professional, going above and beyond to ensure every detail was taken care of. We felt truly special on our big day, and everything ran so smoothly. The food was amazing, the service impeccable, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to celebrate such a special occasion. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a venue that will make your wedding unforgettable!
Andrew M — Google review
When looking for a place to get married, we were so fortunate to have picked the Beach Club Estate. We had our wedding there on Sunday and the view of the lake was breathtaking. Everything was well executed from the moment we got there. Vickie and Sean made us feel like celebrities, they took care of everything we needed and more! My sister forgot my bouquet and Vickie made one right there on the sport for us!! People could not stop gushing about all the food and stations during the cocktail hour. I highly recommend it for your wedding. They recently renovated the inside too and it looked gorgeous. Finally, thank you to Bill and Danielle for your patience and hard work.
Ms. M — Google review
I had a very disappointing experience with Windows on the Lake. From the moment we started planning our event, communication was inconsistent and unprofessional. We were promised certain services and accommodations that were either not delivered or poorly executed. The staff seemed disorganized on the day of the event, and things did not go according to plan. It felt like they were more focused on upcharges than actually delivering a smooth, memorable experience. For the amount we paid, the quality and service fell far below expectations. I would not recommend this venue to anyone looking for a reliable, customer-focused event company.

Ashlee's Buffet, located at 508 Uniondale Avenue in Uniondale, is a Jamaican restaurant that offers a variety of traditional dishes such as oxtails, plantains, rice, and beans. The buffet is open for breakfast and stays open until 11:00 p.m., allowing guests to enjoy their favorite Jamaican fare throughout the day. Visitors praise the cleanliness of the restaurant and the friendly staff.
Takeout buffet sold by the pound. Everything was delicious. When I didn't realize I was supposed to wear gloves (first timer) someone even handed me a pair. Recommended: curry goat, callilou, spinach rice, liver. I'll be back!

Always good food and friendly . Love being able to add the exact portions i want and taste a variety of different foods especially when we can't decide between oxtails and jerk
M C — Google review
Again, another great experience. The only thing I would suggest is switching up the menu a little. Like the soup menu, have a daily menu with different soup like chicken foot and chicken back with pigtails. Also, the boil dumplings after a while sitting in the water it have a smell to it.

If I’m going to a place to spend my money you should be respected and appreciated right. Get to the store a few minutes before 7am and didnt know the store was open. The worker is watching me clean my hands out gloves on and grab a tray. I turn to him to ask for a spoon and then he tells me oh we aren’t open. I tell him why didn’t you tell me before I did all of this and you’re watching me. His response is you didn’t see there weren’t any spoons there. Smfh. This is customer service? This is a a place I should feel good spending my money? This is why it’s hard to support minorty businesses. If I wasn’t a minorty imagine my service. Smfh

Delicious food with a good variety. The buffet style allows you to have all your favorites in one sitting. Stopped in for lunch and had an almost 2 pound plate of Curry Chicken, Stewed Chicken, Oxtails, Jerk Chicken, Fried Chicken, Pigeon Peas and Rice, Mac N Cheese and Streamed Vegetables all for about $13 bucks.
Jonathan D — Google review
Not normally a fan of buffets but this place is amazing. It's like visiting your Caribbean grandma on the weekends with a full spread on the table when you walk in. The pricing is a bit high in my opinion but the food is great so I won't complain. The employees are extremely nice which is usually a red flag. Normally the worse the customer service is the better the food but I'm all for breaking stereotypes haha!

I like this buffet! This is it! The best Jamaican food you can order for miles. Super clean, Good food, Tasty Patties and Home made drinks. A little expensive but well worth the price. And it's a whole lot Better than Jamaican Breeze on Merrick Blvd in Queens. Way Way Better.

Nestled within a charming hotel, Desmond's Restaurant & Pub offers a delightful fusion of Italian and American cuisine in a relaxed dining atmosphere. Their Sunday brunch is particularly popular, running from 9:30 AM to 2 PM, featuring an array of mouthwatering dishes perfect for leisurely weekend gatherings.
I’ve had the pleasure of officiating many weddings at East Wind over the past few years. This Father’s Day, I made a reservation for brunch, and once again, East Wind/Desmond’s exceeded all expectations. The food was absolutely delicious, the service was top notch, and the atmosphere was calm and welcoming—you never felt rushed or overwhelmed. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making the day feel truly special. It was a perfect celebration from start to finish. Five stars!
Rand S — Google review
First time there this past Sunday. The guy at the front was quite friendly and welcoming. The buffet presentation was beautiful and there were also quite some extra-tasty items, such as the short rib pasta and hazelnut (I think) dessert. I also enjoyed the cold mushrooms. One odd notice was the pastas seemed a tad undercooked - though there might a reason for that seeing as it may sit and further cook in its own steam at the buffet. For $40, I think it was a good bargain for a nice brunch with a complimentary Mimosa or Bloody-Mary at a beautiful location.
Geetanjali R — Google review
We got married at East Wind back in 2021, so every year on our anniversary we have dinner at Desmond’s and it is always amazing. The calamari is excellent and comes in a huge portion size. When the lobster bash special is one the menu, my husband always gets that. I love their pork chop Milanese, but this time I got the lobster roll which was delicious. The atmosphere is very cozy and the staff is always friendly. We love to walk around the shops beforehand. Highly recommend!

We had a reservation for Desmond’s tonight to celebrate an accomplishment. The staff was so accommodating and kind. We had 13 people in our party including two little ones and they were so nice offering choices of coloring pages. The food was amazing, and we loved the new menu!!

So sad that Rob the past manager will not be there to always greet us with the best smile! Made you feel like you were apart of the Eastwind family! Have been going there for 15 years and we're truly upset that the best manager is no longer. Please reconsider this terrible decision! We miss you Rob!

If you're on the hunt for an exceptional dining experience, look no further than Minado. This local chain offers a delightful Japanese buffet that showcases an impressive array of sushi and seafood in a sleek, modern setting. Diners rave about the extensive selection, which includes everything from clams and lobster to shrimp and soups—each dish crafted with care to ensure maximum flavor. While some may find the dinner prices on the higher side, many agree that the quality of food makes it worth every penny.
This place is magnificent! The decor is appealing, the staff friendly and the buffet exceptional. Everything from the fries tempura, to the short ribs to the sushi were superb. Tasty tender meats, perfectly crispy fried seafood/vegetables & fresh raw fish. It is most definitely worth the $34.00 per person cost. My wife and I will absolutely come back and try more food.

It's pretty expensive for a dinner, but the food is decent. Fair selection of sushi, but being here a couple of times, it's really a hit or miss. You have to be there 10 minutes before they open or you will get leftovers.
Adam A — Google review
This place is a Gem! Best seafood buffet in the USA!!! I challenge you to find something better!!!
Mike M — Google review
This is my all time favorite buffet place to go to! Although the price to eat for dinner is a little expensive, the food is too delicious to pass up! There are also so many types of foods to try from clams, lobster, shrimp, soups, and more this Japanese seafood buffet will not disappoint. All the foods are a delicacy and I love eating here. The green tea cake is my favorite because every bite tastes like you are eating a light cloud with a delicious cream in the middle of the cake. The main attraction is the food, there aren't any extravagant decor because the food speaks for itself.
Jessica T — Google review
I love this place! But I've only ever been here during dinner time where the price is a ridiculous amount. However, I came here with a friend the other day and to my surprise, the same menu (or at least I thought it was) was posted with a cheaper price! Unbelievable! It was amazing. I loved the variety of sushi choices, the healthy salads, and the savory treats. Love Love Love

Absolutely Mouthwatering! We were introduced to Minado by mutual friends and we had the time of our lives. This a not a typical "Buffet" style restaurant. The selection is outrageous and the food is prepared fresh. The staff is very accommodating and very friendly. What you get for your money is well worth every serving!

Upon entering, you'll be greeted by a clean and well-lit atmosphere with ample seating options. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the chicken and waffles—an unexpected delight!
This place is delicious. Me and my girlfriend absolutely love it here. It may have been our first time going, but we are definitely going back. We only had one issue and that's the seats were definitely not made for large people. Which was confusing because they have an ALL YOU CAN EAT, breakfast! Other than that, we loved it!
David F — Google review
What a first Impression! I normally dont rant about a place the first time I eat there but this was surprisingly delicious. I tried the chicken and waffles and was pleasantly surprised at how good it tasted. The chicken was seasoned, freshly made and texture was wonderful. Crispy on the outside but juicy in the middle. And the waffle was more of the same. Crispy edged outside and a soft middle. I will definitely be coming back to try more of this menu! And the staff was friendly and informative. It was worth the twenty minute drive.
Shahreif T — Google review
We arrived, picked up a menu and seated ourselves. We were expecting the delightful dining experience, mouthwatering cuisine with a warm and inviting experience, as per their description. Well, it was definitely warm. Their AC wasn’t working properly and the outside temp was 86 degrees which meant it was probably at least ten degrees hotter inside. We selected a variety of dishes. The short rib hash was tasty but a bit dry, the Taco Tuesday barbacoa street tacos were dry, the Hungry Jack breakfast was delightful, the fajita plate was tasty but served without tortillas and the mimosas were simply a $30 carafe of orange juice. Overall, the service was decent. Although, the lack of AC made the atmosphere uncomfortable, we made the best of an unpleasant experience.
Cassandra R — Google review
Great customer service, cozy spot for breakfast date. Not pricey but not cheap either. Tried the "All you can eat brunch" $60 for two people. The waffles and pancakes were both good. The tacos and chicken quesadillas were great. However the bacon was overdone and the eggs unseasoned. I'd come back and give it another chance but definitely with different menu items.
Lynn — Google review
I'm so impressed with this cash-only gem! The service is top-notch, prices are extremely reasonable, and the food is incredibly fresh. The restaurant is spotless, with a comfortable temperature to boot. My daughter and I had a delightful brunch here, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

Clean, well lit restaurant with plenty of tables. Give your order at the counter to a very friendly, engaging fellow, who gives you a large mug of steaming delicious coffee to take with you to your seat. Wait 5 minutes and your order is brought to you. The food is hot and delicious. Clean bathroom also available. Large screen TV to keep you occupied, if you like. Excellent choice. We shall be pleased to return.

Only criticism is that it was a bit warm inside. But the food was great, fresh squeezed orange juice was excellent. Counter girl was very nice and patient. Prices were fair. Definitely will be back when I'm in town. Everyone left full and happy.
