Salt & Barrel is a spacious oyster and craft cocktail bar located in Bay Shore. The bar features a stunning marble bar and tin ceilings, creating an elegant atmosphere. They offer a wide selection of East and West Coast oysters served with various sauces, along with imaginative and finely crafted cocktails. In addition to their indoor space, the restaurant also offers outdoor seating by the water for a laid-back dining experience.
We really liked this place. It was very busy when we were there, but it was not overly noisy. Our server was so nice and accommodating!! The food was really very, very good!! We had the lobster roll and the S & B Burger!! Absolutely delicious!! We can't wait to return!

Went to grab a quick lunch with my sister after she got back from Fire Island. Was pleasantly surprised with the happy hour they had to offer! Our bartenders were great, wasn’t able to catch their names though. We came just as they opened and didn’t realize they had such a great happy hour! Obviously discounts on the drinks but was super happy to hear about their oysters on happy hour! They have a solid variety to choose from. Not going to lie though, went for whatever the dollar oysters were at that time. Would love to be back soon for more. Music was great, food and drinks were fantastic. Definitely somewhere to go to catch up with friends or a nice starter before you hit the rest of the spots on Main Street.

If you are looking for oysters this is the place you need to be. True oyster bar with multiple local oysters to try. The biscuits with maple butter and black salt were mouth watering amazing. We split the flounder dish, which was outstanding. The little neck clams and shrimp were excellent. Our server was as sweet as pie and on point.

Everything was great. We had a reservation, so we were seated right away. Drinks were delicious (prickly pear margarita), oysters were perfection (we tried 4 different kinds- the ones from Peconic Bay were our fav) and food was excellent as always. I had the scallops, my husband had the crab gnocchi, and my SIL had the steak tidbits. We also had the tuna tartare tacos and octopus for appetizers. Our server was great and attentive. We brought our 2 year old, and they had a high chair for her. No kids menu, which is fine because she loves seafood and ate a little of each of our dinners. She loved the biscuits as an appetizer. For dessert, we had a special Valentine's red velvet cake and ice cream. Everything was delicious, can't wait to go back!

I absolutely love Salt & Barrel and keep coming back for so many reasons! On my latest visit, Jared the busboy and Manny our server were an amazing team—super attentive in keeping our table spotless and fresh the whole time. Manny deserves a special shout-out. He’s incredibly knowledgeable about all the oysters and entrees, and he made great recommendations. What impressed me even more was how he picked up on a tiny social cue: he noticed I wasn’t drinking my cocktail and sensed I didn’t love it, even though I was too shy to say anything. Without missing a beat, he brought me the menu and guided me to a new drink that was absolutely perfect. Service like this makes Salt & Barrel feel special every time. I’ll definitely keep coming back!

After a long week of work, it was nice to chill out with a few family members and enjoy some fresh oysters and a cocktail, but they always give us so much more for a great price during happy hour. Love this place. You never leave disappointed good food, close to home and a great value.

I was craving oysters and came here and it didn’t disappoint! I do wish the oysters were a tad bit bigger but everything was so delicious! The drinks were great and aesthetically pleasing. The tarragon biscuits with a slightly sweet butter were fantastic and heavenly as well as the fried calamari with seafood and veggies. The lobster roll was the best I ever had in my entire life! The buns were so buttery and tasty accompanied by a home-made potato chip. I highly recommend this spot especially for seafood and drinks! It’s beautiful inside!
Malika B — Google review
Vincent was a great server. Everything was excellent. The oysters were delicious, particularly the specialty oysters. Loved the warm flatbread and prosciutto with fig jam and burrata. Cocktails were exquisite and my swordfish was top tier. 10/10

Oyster bar restaurant
Restaurant
Nestled in the heart of Patchogue, Catch Oyster Bar is a charming and bustling spot that captures the essence of coastal dining. With its inviting nautical decor featuring subway tiles and exposed ductwork, this cozy bar offers an intimate atmosphere perfect for seafood lovers. The menu boasts a delightful selection of locally sourced seafood, including fresh raw oysters served on the half shell—shucked right before your eyes!
Catch Oyster Bar hits that sweet spot — cozy, unpretentious, and always buzzing with good energy. Their martinis are dangerously good, the fries are perfection, and the blackened tuna wrap? Fresh, bold, and downright addictive. It’s the kind of spot that wins over everyone — from the preppy Williamsburg crowd to the shee-shee Hamptonites. Easygoing vibe, great food, and a bar that knows what it’s doing. Highly recommended — one of those rare places that feels like both a local favorite and a weekend escape. GO!

Amazing experience GREAT SERVICE AND hospitality. The oysters blue point and I forgot the other oysters they were from Canada their AMAZING. Blackened fish tacos to die for with chips and guacamole free of charge on the side. Definitely would be Back.

EVERY-TIME! Staff is genuinely friendly but even more attentive and efficient! I can’t say more than the pictures about the food. Not to be missed is the fried flounder anything! & of course the 🦪 Seating is tight but it all works✌️

I've been dying for a good Lobster roll. Specifically, a warm one. Patchogue Village had a sandwich shop called the Hero Joint that served an insane Lobster roll. Easily one of the best I've ever had. And I've been all over Maine and the Cape. So, when I saw that Catch had a Lobster roll for 40 bucks, I said this thing better be good. Otherwise, you know I was coming on here to say a few words. Though I had a feeling it would be, considering I've eaten there before, and it's always been good. Not to mention really cool staff. Well, they did not disappoint! I bought three rolls and each of them were perfect! Big, delicious chunks of lobster all warm, buttery and perfectly cooked on just the right roll. A nice side of chips that were crispy and tasty with a pickle to round it off which was great. Well done, Catch! I'll be back before summers over!

Decent crabcake, great fries, perfect swordfish. The tomato/jalapeno sauce didn't seem the best accompaniment for the fish, & there was a lot of it, flavoring the fries & asparagus too.
Leila M — Google review
Got to enjoy one of their last Tuesday Lobsterfest nights for 2025. The staff was amazingly friendly, especially bartender Mike. The local customers were very warm and welcoming. We had raw oysters, fried calamari, Manhattan clam chowder, and the “Lobster Bake” which was a whole lobster with mussels and clams on the side. Food was top notch, perfectly cooked, locally caught, lightly seasoned so that we could taste the flavor of the seafood, and fresh as could be. Kitchen staff timed our plates perfectly as they were dropping our next dish right when we finished the previous. Great value and the portions were healthy. Locals even gave us some menu recommendations for our next visit. Small cozy atmosphere. Definitely will go again.

This place By far Is the best seafood place ever. My dad takes me in there all the time And I love the ocean platter. It’s my favorite. I have been going there since I was seven years old Mike and Danny Are awesome bartenders they always help me to decide what drink I want And they are super friendly. If you haven’t been there, I highly recommend to go there and take your kids

This establishment, part of the Bohlsen Restaurant Group, boasts a smaller but exceptional menu. Guests can savor delectable 40-ounce porterhouse and Tellers rib-eye steaks along with filet mignon, New York strip steak, and veal chop parmigiana.
Review for Prime: An American Kitchen & Bar – Long Island, NY Prime is a fantastic spot in Long Island if you're looking for a great steak paired with a beautiful view. The food is top-notch – the steak was cooked to perfection and full of flavor. What really made the experience even better was the warm and attentive service. The staff were friendly and made us feel very welcome throughout the meal. Whether you're out for a special occasion or just a nice evening out, Prime offers a great combination of quality food, ambiance, and hospitality. Highly recommend!

My favorite go-to in Huntington! Prime never disappoints. I come here often, and each time I’m reminded why I love it so much — the stunning waterfront view is simply unbeatable, whether it’s a sunny afternoon or a breezy evening. It sets the perfect mood every time. The food is consistently good, fresh, and beautifully presented. From starters to dessert, there’s a thoughtful balance of flavors and creativity. The service is usually attentive and professional, and the ambiance is just the right mix of upscale and relaxed. It’s my happy place when I want a moment of peace, good food, and beautiful surroundings. Highly recommend, especially if you appreciate a great view with your meal!
Nikella N — Google review
We ordered the ribeye, Brussels sprouts, red roof roll, California king roll, shrimp tornado roll, the shrimp and oysters and the gnocchi. The Brussels sprouts and sushi were excellent, while the rest of the dishes were just okay for me. The service was attentive and friendly, which I really appreciated. The atmosphere could be even better with more upbeat music.

Expensive, nice restaurant. I stopped on the lunch time. Food was very tasty, and glass of wine very on time. Beautiful view around, sunny day. And not really happy server, who look a little upset, what people doesn't spend a lot of money. So anyway I like this place - yes. Do I want come back?- no.
Tatiana P — Google review
First time at prime for my anniversary. We ordered the shrimp cocktail, sesame potato roll, beef Wellington and fillet mignon frites. I’ll rate the best to worst dish. sesame potato roll was actually delicious, beef Wellington was also pretty good. Shrimp cocktail was okay, overpriced for what you get. Filet mignon frites was virtually inedible, its pepper crusted mignon tails, but all you could taste is overwhelming ammount of pepper. Overall left a bit dissapointed for what I paid.
Roger G — Google review
Very nice place to come in for a good evening. The setting in the back with the water and the views are top notch! The service was excellent. Drinks are pricy but decent. Food was a bit hit and miss for the price, I honestly expected a few of the items to be better. The spaghetti with the crab was a pass. Mac and cheese with the crab was a better option! One of the steaks was good, the other was one of the items I expected better. Cesar salad was great! Desert was good too. They do have some options for a three course meal for a set price so that’s what we went with but even with that it was still pricy.
Willie R — Google review
Five years ago today we came to Prime Steakhouse right before getting engaged, and today we returned to celebrate. Eric went above and beyond to make this day just as unforgettable as that first one. His service, attention to detail, and genuine care made our celebration truly special. Thank you, Eric, for making this milestone even better than we imagined!

The Clam Bar at Napeague is a charming fish shack with a bar and patio, open from April to November. This iconic red and white roadside shack offers a variety of seafood classics, including Local Steamers, Clam Strips, Lobster BLT, Lobster Salad Roll, and Two-Pound Montauk Lobster. With 41 years of history, it has become a culinary staple between Amagansett and Montauk.
Had the classic lobster roll and fries—so good! The vibe here is just great, and the lobster roll was perfectly generous (definitely worth the price) and delicious. You really can’t go wrong. Plus, the team is incredibly warm and welcoming.

Had a great dinner with my family! The atmosphere was welcoming, with friendly staff and a kid-friendly vibe. Nice music added to the experience, and the service was excellent. The tuna steak sandwich was a standout, highly recommend it!
Carla B — Google review
A really great place to eat. We had fried calamari as an appetizer then lobster roll. The bread was toasted with butter. My son had chicken tender with fries. Overall it was good.
Pradipta B — Google review
Very nice place! Good and fresh seafood. Unfortunately I was sure that they would be selling local lobster... Their lobster is being imported from Maine and it was 45$...which would be a reasonable price if I couldn't have a bigger portion in Maine for not even half the price. But overall a good experience with tasty (but pricey) food!
Christian B — Google review
Clam chowder was great very tasty, the fresh clam was interestingly warm which is kinda weird to my liking and lobster roll was meh.. the bread was already soggy so it’s not really a great texture. The wait was not bad, we waited for 20-25minutes. Service was great and very fast.
Alicelyfee — Google review
So there was a 15 minute wait for a table which was no big deal. The hostess was very friendly and kind. Our waitress - not so kind after we did not order alcoholic beverages. She did not even check on us once. When we were waiting for a table we were looking at menus in which we thought stated the lobster rolls came with french fries. We ordered two lobster rolls. I flagged down our waitress to ask about if the lobster rolls came with fries and with the biggest attitude she was like “ummmm NO” and rushed away. Not “no, sorry it doesn’t come with french fries but do you want a side of fries?” It was so rude, dismissive, and belittling the way she said it. She could not be bothered with us after we didn’t order alcoholic drinks to “up” the bill. It was like we were taking up her table she did not want to serve. When we first sat down the whole table was very sticky so i had to align the edge of the table with napkins. (how ickkkk!) The rest of the waitresses/water boy were very kind and attentive when I asked for our check. I was going to purchase a hat but it’s safe to say I will not be returning here due to poor service and the lobster rolls were not great, average but nothing to write home about. The lobster was overcooked, tasteless and i was constantly taking shells out of my mouth every time i bit down into it. Served on a regular hot dog bun that was soggy drenched in butter. Theres better places to go, with better quality and less expensive. As a foodie, I was just not impressed.

I was sitting in my car, dealing with a little anxiety, when a man suddenly appeared and started yelling at a woman trying to park next to me. At first, I wasn’t sure if he was serious or if they knew each other. Then I noticed her young daughter was still sitting in the car while he continued to yell at her mother. After the woman walked into the bar area, he turned his back then immediately spun around and started yelling at her again, saying she wasn’t allowed to order food. She kept apologizing, and that’s when I realized: this man wasn’t a friend he was being a complete bully. I got out of my car and joined my two girlfriends at a nearby table. One of them turned to him and said, “We’re not paying for our food until she gets hers.” He quickly stormed off. We spoke with the employees and learned that this man John and he is the husband of the woman who originally owned this historic place. Honestly, I hope she throws him out. I can’t imagine how he treats her behind closed doors. The staff even told us he talks to them the same way. John, if you see this get help. You showed the most narcissistic, public display of verbal abuse I’ve ever witnessed. Shame on you. That restaurant, and everyone in it, deserves better. Especially that woman and her daughter.
Denise T — Google review
It might have been a bad day or a bad batch but this Lobster made me violently sick. As someone who has traveled to countries like China and Brazil to eat all sorts of amazing unique foods, I don't often get sick at all. Even if I ate something bad chances are it will not impact me that much. However, after having dinner here I ran a fever and could not stop vomiting. This was followed up by a couple more days of feeling very sick and this almost ruined my Labor Day weekend. Sadly when I called to tell the restaurant they offered me a partial refund on the lobster only however it did not give me a full refund. It was the worst experience I've ever had eating lobster.

Fish restaurant
Nestled in Bethpage, Popei's Clam Bar is a beloved family-owned gem that has been delighting diners since 1980. This unassuming eatery may appear modest from the outside, but step inside and you'll discover a treasure trove of flavors.
My family and I have been coming to Popei’s for years. We love grabbing their steamer bowl to share with the family and the complimentary garlic bread is one of the best we’ve had. Their lobster bisque has been a favorite of ours since we first started coming years ago. Everyday they have a different special happening like all you can eat shrimp. It’s a super cozy restaurant with staff that’s like family and great for families.
Alexia H — Google review
Serving portions are large. Food taste was moderate. There's a lot to choose from but all pretty expensive at about $30 and up per plate. Some options were difficult to decipher on the menu, and we had 3 different menus so it got more confusing. The 2 prices on the menu are the uncharge they give you if you pay with a card instead of cash. I'm not sure who carries that kind of cash around for a meal. The waitress didn't know how to explain the portion size, stating she'd never weighed or measured it and had no way of knowing the size, just that the lunch plate is half the size of the dinner plate. I was offered a drink replacement since mine didn't taste good and the replacement never came. The shrimp in my parmesan was very tasty.
David H — Google review
We were delighted to find that this establishment still offered exceptional seafood during our recent visit, which marked our return after a five-year absence. The special was outstanding, with 2 pound lobster, linguine with clam sauce, and other accompaniments that were expertly prepared. Shelby, our server, provided top-notch service and ensured that our needs were met. She also drew our attention to several specials that we hadn't noticed initially. Overall, this is a great choice for casual seafood dining. I will definitely return to this establishment.

Delicious dinner! Went here for my birthday and it did not disappoint. Our waitress and the rest of the staff were so kind and attentive! The food was delicious and I honestly can't wait to go back! I could eat those steamers everyday!!

Our second time eating at Popei's, I have no idea what took us so long to find this wonderful place. My husband had the Cajun boil for the second time, he says it's so delicious. My friend and I each had 2 lb lobsters that were fantastic, sweet, meaty just perfect. Her husband had the ribs which were also so good. Shelby, our server, was attentive, pleasant and so we're all the other wait staff that's served, cleared etc. We sat outside under the tent, the music was very good and didn't blast us out so easy to have conversation. All together a really nice experience. We will certainly be back soon.

10/10 experience from our waiter Angel! He was amazing!!! I’d personal go back to have him as our waiter again. The owner and the chef was also extremely friendly! The food was a pleasant surprise! Family feel environment!

Had the Jambalaya special and the seafood bisque. All the seafood was cooked properly. The jambalaya was not spicy enough for my taste but it was good. Big portions, great value. Parking is terrible. There is valet but no sign so I parked across Wantagh Ave on a side street. They gave us bread to take home with our leftovers, nice touch.

Nestled along the picturesque Barnum Inlet, Peter's Clam Bar has been a beloved destination for seafood lovers since its inception in 1939. This charming eatery boasts a rustic ambiance that perfectly complements its extensive menu of classic American seafood and steaks. Diners can enjoy stunning views from nearly every table, whether seated at roadside high-tops or on the spacious patio.
Had a chance to finally get to this place after passing it for many years and I regret passing it so many times and not experiencing how amazing this place is! The atmosphere is outstanding right on the water and when you sit outside it’s very nice and relaxing inside was gorgeous as well! Then the food and drinks were outstanding! The calamari was cooked perfectly and flavor filled and not greasy and my first time having swordfish and it was amazing! Definitely will be coming back here this is a must try spot!

A great place for date night, or family dinners, you can't go wrong at Peter's! Located right on the waterway, it's beautiful scenery while enjoying dinner and good company. We stopped by over the weekend to have dinner with the family when celebrating a birthday. Everything came out great, and everyone was happy. The service was great, we were take care of immediately. There were several dishes ordered, but I had the lobster mac and cheese along with the surf and turf. The Mac and cheese were really good. The surf and turf was cooked how we liked it, and it was tender and flavorful. Definitely a must try if you're looking for an evening dinner place, or even a lunch date.

This was a great spur of the moment spot. After a wonderful beach day, being able to chow down on the amazing lobster Mac and cheese hit the spot. Portion sizes were huge, the food came out so fast, and the water front view was relaxing! The side salad game was below average for how great the entrees are. But outside of that it was a great spot

Lunch at Peter’s Clam Bar in Island Park, NY right on the water. We started with crab cakes. She had the stuffed flounder and I had the fried clam strips (a nostalgia dish for me; it reminded me of Howard Johnson’s!). Everything was delicious and the service was great!

Mediterranean restaurant
New American restaurant
Lulu Kitchen & Bar is an upscale restaurant in Sag Harbor, N.Y., offering a Mediterranean menu centered around a wood-burning grill and oven. The outdoor dining area is tented and surrounded by natural decor, while sidewalk seating with barriers between tables and the sidewalk is also available. The wine program, overseen by managing partner Steven Jauffrineau, has won an Award of Excellence and features 240 labels highlighting French regions.
It was our first time visiting Lulu, and we were very pleasantly surprised, the service was exceptional. I think every employee in that restaurant touched our table at one point or another, including all of the managers the food, outstanding! Everything we had was absolutely delicious. We will most definitely be going back, often!
Jeanine K — Google review
This restaurant’s 4-star rating must be fake. The food is genuinely bad, and my standards aren’t even high. It’s neither comforting nor upscale — just bland or greasy, with awful flavors. One star, and that’s only for the interior. Don’t order the cauliflower unless you crave eating it steamed
Kyle — Google review
Lulu’s is surrounded by other great restaurants in Sag Harbor but it holds its own! My family had a really great meal and cocktails. We ordered the Roasted Cauliflower (Excellent!) along with Stone Crab (Very good) and Raw bar clams/ Oysters (Excellent) for appetizers along with cocktails which we thoroughly enjoyed. Main courses consisted of 2lb Roasted Lobsters, Seafood pasta, Branzino and a Chicken dish that were all excellent. I would highly recommend getting reservations and enjoy! My only complaint would be the flow of cocktails as it seemed the bar and table staff were out of synch.

The braised lamb was the best I’ve ever had. Environment was amazing. Great car and people watching. The chicken was juicy and delicious. Nice wine selection. Great job LuLu! I’ll be back!

This was one of the worst restaurants I have ever been to. The staff is rude and doesn’t care about your service , unless you are one of their wealthy regulars. That is the only way they check in on you without making passive aggressive comments. Ridiculously overpriced for the lowest quality food. The salad is legitimately 3 pieces of wilted lettuce with a side of brown avocado. Barely any dressing and nothing else on it. Medieval peasant or rabbit food. We asked if we could get new avocado and it came back even browner than before. The manager was passive aggressive but took it off the bill. Still managed to come out to $100 from a chicken salad my mom got, a lemonade, fries, and a drink. Would not recommend this to my worst enemy. The waitress also saw that we sent our food back with the food runner and didn’t come to check on us and just kept a smug look on her face

Lulu’s does a great happy hour in Sag Harbor. We ordered the octopus skewer and the clams. Just delicious!
Oyster S — Google review
I wish I could give Lulu zero stars, but I’ll settle for one to warn others. We arrived expecting a casual dinner at this supposedly charming Hamptons spot, only to be greeted by a hostess on a serious power trip. “Rude” doesn’t even begin to cover it, she seemed to relish gatekeeping a restaurant that’s clearly trying too hard to act exclusive. The menu was both overpriced and limited. I ordered the herb-roasted chicken, which turned out to be a greasy, fatty mess. The skin was limp and uncrisped, and the meat sat in an oily puddle that tasted like it had been lingering in the back of a fridge. For the price, I expected something gourmet, not a sad, overpriced chicken that left us both feeling queasy. Pretentious without the payoff. Save your money and your dignity, there are far better options in Sag Harbor. Hard pass.

Food is great, service is good. People watching is outstanding. You also get a little LuLu matchbook notebook as souvenir!! Very nice touch. Thanks for fitting us in!

Seafood restaurant
Nestled by the water, Kingston's Clam Bar is a delightful seasonal eatery that captures the essence of dockside dining. With its charming ambiance featuring umbrella-topped tables and a scenic view of bobbing boats, this clam shack is perfect for seafood lovers. The menu boasts an array of delectable options, including their renowned lobster rolls—available in both traditional cold and hot styles—along with a tempting raw bar selection like shrimp cocktails and oysters on the half shell.
Really wanted some clams on the half shell. And I really wanted to have them at a clam bar near the water with an open air but yet in shaded cool atmosphere. This is exactly that. I looked at several places on the North shore the South shore in the area and I remembered this place and I forgot how wonderful it really is until I got there. Pictures just don't do it justice. So I took a whole bunch. Haven't been hearing about 10 to 15 years something like that. I don't remember being so quaint and right on the water with the little overhang to shade you outdoors. Even the indoor seating feels outdoor. Like one giant covered deck. They even have picnic tables way out on the dock that you don't even realize they're theirs. Until you see the waiters and waitresses going out to help people and the hostess seating them. They also have a bulkhead right there where boats pull up and can go inside and or just stop for to grab some drinks to go. Which a boat did it. I mean this is the perfect seaside location hidden away. I can't wait to go back. I had the most wonderful little seat by myself all the way in the corner with a cushion. Where I could overlook the restaurant the boats the view everything. I had the most delicious half dozen clams on the half shell and I was planning to go to another place to have another half dozen but it was so lovely and so perfect exactly what I wanted and search for. That I stayed to have a bucket of steamers. And I'm glad I did I forgot how much I love those things. Oh wow just get the steamers if you love steamers sit and enjoy the view. I really didn't look at anything else they had on the menu but I know that several people were having steam lobsters. Which you know next time if I can get past the steamers. What a great little place this is I think slept on too much. Lunch on a Saturday seems to be the time to go I mean it was perfect 80° summer day I can't believe it wasn't more crowded. Some people wrote up on their bicycles. From the neighborhood some people had kick scooters electric scooters. It's just a really lovely spot. I seriously cannot wait to go back. Really felt more like I was on fire Island that Flynn's or something. It's that kind of vibe. If you love seafood this is highly recommended. It's not high ends going to get silverware and plates type service. It's got disposable cups and plastic forks and paper everything but it's that seaside divey yet wonderful food simple seafood cuisine this is the place for you. The staff was lovely. The hostess and the waitress both were patient and attentive as I told some stories to them and I really appreciate it. Yeah I'm going to say it again I can't wait to go back!!

We rolled in on our boat but the wait was too long to stay. Cute little dive restaurant and bar off the water and road. Very casual. Good band live. Great vibes. Will be back for sure.

Nice outdoor seating next to the water & marina. Fun vibe, good music. Wait staff super friendly, the hot lobster roll is heavenly. So so much meat! And the fries were delicious! Perfect service size, margaritas delicious and reasonably priced. Key lime pie imported from Mikes Pies in Florida. Couldn’t have had a better experience. The lobster rolls alone were well worth the 45 min drive.

Great food, atmosphere and service. The coconut martini is a must have and I can't say enough great things about the fresh seafood. Thank you Juliet for your your great service.

The location is magical, beautiful scenery. The service could be a little more polite and informed. The food is excellent! Definitely worth the wait for dinner. I wish they would open the little take out window they used to have by the side patio. I’m a local and I used to love to stop by after a long walk and get some take out and a drink without having to deal with the dinner rush. Overall I am really impressed with how the quality of the food has remained consistent in spite of the price of everything rising! Absolutely delicious!!! Best quality seafood and prepared to perfection! This was on a Saturday night, so keep in mind it was busy.

Haven’t been since last year…today was a perfect day to visit. We arrived a bit after 2 for lunch. We enjoyed the baked clams as an appetizer. I had a delicious cold lobster roll..very large chunks of lobster not too much mayo or celery…..could barely finish it. My companion enjoyed a burger and fries…..nicely done. Fries were excellent not greasy. Service was very pleasant….will be back soon!

Great seafood shack on the water with a cool outdoor/indoor vibe and good food. Came here for dinner during the summer and got a great seat half indoors half outdoors. Split the oysters and wings to start, which were great. For dinner we each got a lobster roll, one hot, one cold. Both were very good and came with coleslaw. Service was alittle slow and they messed up our order at first, but it was busy and they were friendly. Overall highly recommend if your in the mood for a cool seafood spot on the water.

Beautiful place by the water. Went for a late lunch on a Monday and there was a good amount of people. I'll stay away during crowded times because seems to be only one toilet for each gender so I imagine a long wait during busy times. The drinks were perfect, the food was delicious, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. Looking forward to another casual visit there.

Nestled next to the picturesque Great South Bay, Chowder Bar is a beloved seafood haven that has been delighting patrons since 1946. This cozy eatery boasts a charming wood-paneled interior and offers an array of mouthwatering dishes, from fresh clams on the half shell to rich chowders and hearty sandwiches.
Very enjoyable. We started out with stuffed mushrooms as appetizer comes with 3 pieces they tasted great. Then I had the long island chowder and my husband had the lobster bisque both were served in small bowls they were creamy and delicious. My entree was fried fish sandwich with fries and coleslaw. My husbands entree was medley of seafood with side of zucchini and rice. Both our entrees were tasty and the serving was enough. Finally we had the famous fried ice cream which was a nice treat and so was the key lime pie. Both desserts were amazing. The server was extremely nice always had a smile on her face, constantly checking on us. This is our 3rd time visiting here and it won't be the last.

What’s not to like - sitting here on a Wednesday late afternoon, an overcast low 70s mid July day. Indulging in a flight of chowders - always forgetting which one is my favorite (seafood bisque - technically a chowder?). Moving onto their baked clams, which are a little skimpy on the clam part but still tasty(take note owners please.) Went with the fish and chips today but can definitely splurge for a special. Great food, Blue Point Toasted Lager is the only draft on site and oysters are picked out back. Enjoy a non-pretentious experience that seems to be fleeting.

Chowder Bar is tucked in between the ferry and parking lots, but CB has passed the test of time with being around since 1946. This place is showing it's age but that adds to the ambiance, giving you that old rustic fishing boat feeling/decor making everything taste better. There are a bunch of soups/bisque's and some awards have been won, so be prepared to make several visits if you want to try them all. We had the seafood bisque, it was kinda cheesy, full of seafood flavor, very nice consistency, and some pieces of what seemed like imitation crab(I think). So I'd highly recommend trying their "soup/bisque flight" and sample a few at a time( I will for sure, see pic). I noticed a "Fishwich" on the menu, something I will surely be back for... Anyway you look at it the, owners (usually on hand and very friendly too) have kept this place going strong for a long time.

The place is cute and the waiters were very sweet with us, lovely music taste too. We got the chowder and crab cakes. I'd say, this is a chowder place so stick to that, because it tasted amazing, but the crab cakes and the shrimp boat were a little dissapointing.

We found this place by chance after nearby restaurants had long waits — and we’re so glad we did! The food was delicious, the service fast and friendly, and the atmosphere relaxed and welcoming. Unlike the fancy spots next door, it’s a perfect place for families with kids — no stress if they make noise or a mess. Highly recommend!

Nestled in the charming town of Point Lookout, Point Lookout Clam Bar is a delightful seafood haven that promises an unforgettable dining experience. With its inviting raw bar and a menu featuring everything from sushi to fried sandwiches, this casual eatery offers something for everyone. The restaurant's motto, "from ships to your lips," perfectly encapsulates its commitment to serving only the freshest seafood.
Great food. Great sunset. Only cold lobster rolls. The greek salad was okay. French fries good. Onion rings better. Lobster rolls come with slaw and fries. Busy sunday night but line moved quickly
Aaron G — Google review
We had a lovely experience enjoying seafood at this spot, with a fantastic location overlooking the bay. The view of the sunset was truly breathtaking and added to the ambiance of the meal. However, one downside was the use of plastic cutlery, cups, and plates. It detracted from the overall dining experience and seemed excessive, especially when enjoying such fresh seafood. Switching to more sustainable or reusable options would greatly enhance the experience. Overall, great food and views, but the plasticware left room for improvement.
Steff O — Google review
I did not enjoy my lunch here. Our server messed up twice, once bringing food that we didn't order, so we had to chat with the manager, and then did it again a second time. The lobster bisque that I had was below average. The crab cake had fake crab, which can be OK, but the menu should at least mention this or call it krab cake. Not that I could tell, anyway, because it was so bready. It was more like a bread crumb cake. I got the scallops for my main, and the scallops were inedible. Absolutely rubber, like chewing an eraser. I decided, since I'm still hungry, to get a lobster roll. That's about the only thing that I liked here, and why I left 2 stars instead of 1. It was a good size, it tasted good, and the price, while high, is kind of normal for lobster rolls. The cabbage slaw they came with was way too sweet, though, but the fries were thin and crispy and good. Overall, I won't be coming back, and I can't say that I recommend this place, but if you're going here anyway, then get the lobster roll.

Such a unique set up. I've never been to a restaurant bar that not only had its own boat slips but an enclosed, private sandy beach area for patrons to chill, have a drink and watch the kiddos play. We got the fried clams and they were as good as they get. Super unique food delivery system too...they give you the standard buzzer thingy but you put it into a credit card looking thing attached to your table and it acts like a gps for the servers to bring your food out. Parking is extremely limited so plan on cruising around for a bit to find a spot. Public parking is available off of the main road near some basketball courts and is less than a 5 min walk. Follow it up with ice cream located on the main road near the public parking area!

The mussels were fantastic, however the cashier that took our order was unbelievably rude. We asked how many mussels you get and she made a face at us and copped an attitude saying she didn’t know. We only asked because we are not from here. The non-seafood items are very overpriced and we have to use an ATM to tip. I am not very happy to be charged an ATM fee to take care of our bartenders!

Last week I brought my 13 year old granddaughter and she loved it, mostly because she got to shop after lunch! Haha. Came on a Thurs July 3rd for lunch. Not too crowded, great relaxed vibe. You order at the counter, they give you a buzzer thingy to place at the table and they bring you your food. Had softshell crab sandwich, mussels and grilled calamari, all we're very tasty, great shoe string fries! Rum punch was strong. Would recommend. Parking may be an issue, we got the last spot and it was not crowded.

We had a very nice quiet dinner here . Food was great. Lobster poutine fries as an app was very yummy . Cobb salad with Lobster and the best tartar sauce I have ever had I thought it waa salad dressing ! . I loved that they put deviled eggs in it! My husband had the blacked tuna sandwich special with coconut slaw. He said it was fabulous! And then fresh baked cookies and milk ! Our waiter was super nice and answered all our questions and gave his recommendations. Attention to detail is what it was all about! We can't wait to go back In the spring .

Got here about 90 min before closing and they were happy to seat us anyway. One of the few seafood spots on the Hamptons to stay open padt 9pm during the week, so that's a huge plus in my book! When this place was just the Lobster Inn it was kind of more divey and hit or miss sadly when it came to food quality. But still a local's fave. Manna, the parent company who bought this space, is pretty well known out here since they own some other notable restauranter spots like Shen in Sag Harbour and also another one of my faves on the north fork, Claudio's in Greenport, so I knew already that the food was going to be great and that service was going to be awesome too. And we were not disappointed in the least bit by either. Ordered the deviled eggs, new England clam chowder and frito misto to start. Our waiter was happy to split the soup portion into 2 for my kids who wanted to share it since one portion was going to be too big for just one of them. Their chowder isn't as thick as the usual NE version but it packed sooo much amazing flavor and had a great ratio of clams, bacon, and potatoes. Deviled eggs were delicious at crispy andouie sausage chunks were exactly what that dish cake for! However, the extra added lobster meat you can add on to the dish was so NOT worth it, the meat pieces were small, very chewy and stringy. The Frito misto was great, calamari pieces were fried well and had a nice crunch to them. Very little variety on the veggies part, just large chunks of green and yellow squash that were cut way too big and not fried long enough so several of them were gummy. Tomato and chili jam was perfect but it is NOT kid friendly unless your kid loves spicy. They kept the LH splat dish, essential a lobster bake with a 2 lbs. Lobster, clams, mussels, chunks of chorizo, corn and red potatoes in a delicious buttery herb sauce, menu days there was supposed to be crab legs/meat but there was none in our pot.... It's 3x's the price of the original one and slightly bigger portion wise but it still seemed a bit pricey for what it was. Tasty, but the price tag wasn't quite worth it. Also ordered an additional lobster and that was priced okay. Potatoes that came with it has a weird chunky sauce on it so sadly that was left uneaten. Overall experience was great, a couple of misses but regardless we'll be back to try the rest of the menu again soon!

I've been coming to the lobster inn for years now. The owners are very attentive to the way the place is run. The wait staff is very nice. They were open a few years ago and then switched hands I believe and now the original people are back and they have a new chef. Seafood is always fresh, the curry mussels I had last time I was there were so delicious 😋 if you don't like seafood they have options for you too! My daughter loves steak...and likes it medium and she orders steak every time we go there. If you want to just get a drink and a quick bite this is a great place or if you want to have a bridal shower or a birthday dinner this place is great for that too! As a local I also love that they are open year round so when the summer spots close up I can still get my favorite dishes from Lobster Inn. 🦞 I definitely recommend checking it out.

This place is good! Pretty overpriced but some good value items are the oysters and the clam pasta. The oysters were some of the best I have ever had and the clam pasta was to die for and soooo flavorful. I did appreciate the waitress who was extremely helpful, and funny. This was certainly a good experience. Their calamari dish was way too small and portions were tiny but it was fine. There is a fun game area outside and I would give it a 4.5/5 if I could. Come here if you aren’t too hungry

We enjoyed an incredible meal this past Sunday. We had a large party and everyone's appetizers and meals were delicious. I recommend the lobster dumplings and the chicken steak...so good! The affogato was a pleasant surprise, you don't see that on too many menus. The service was also excellent. The ambiance and scenery only added to the experience. It was so good, we made a reservation for our next time before we left!

Had lunch at Vincent’s Clam Bar in Carle Place, and it was absolutely phenomenal. I ordered the Penne à la Vodka with Chicken and a Chicken Caesar Salad, and both were top-notch. You can really taste the fresh ingredients — the pasta was cooked perfectly, the sauce was rich and flavorful, and the chicken was tender and well-seasoned. The portions are huge, so it’s a great value for the price. My entire lunch was under $50, and I even had enough leftovers to take home — which almost never happens for me. Between the quality, portion size, and friendly service, Vincent’s is definitely one of the best Italian spots around. Whether you’re stopping in for lunch or dinner, you’ll leave full and happy. Highly recommend!

They handle the drinks on the bar and the floor and while multitasking also prioritizing their customer satisfaction. Their personalities and creative thinking make the drinks and atmosphere so lovely and I’m always looking forward to coming here for my next date night. The happy hour weekdays from 3-6 is great. Can’t say no to $1 oysters!!!! The oysters are fresh and I just finished the Fruits De Mer and all of the seafood was fresh and delicious. The Bloody Mary oyster shooters made me think there is no other way to have oysters…. If I could get 30 of them I would. All of the drinks are made with home made mixes and syrups which is very diabetic friendly but also very fresh and enjoyable. Oh and if you get the hot and spicy martini! The blue cheese stuffed olives are insane and the drink itself has chilli oil which gives it a kick and it’s absolutely addicting. Enjoy!!!

A Return to Waterzooi Yesterday, I had the chance to return to Waterzooi in Garden City—a place I’d enjoyed in the past but hadn’t visited in over two years. It’s not a white-tablecloth kind of restaurant, which might be exactly why we chose it for a casual afternoon out. There’s something comforting about its relaxed atmosphere, where good food and good company take center stage. We started with drinks: I ordered a Duvel 666, full-bodied with fruity and creamy notes that complemented my pale ale preferences perfectly. My wife chose a Shock Top, served in a frozen glass that added a refreshing chill to its citrusy profile. For my appetizer, I picked the Lobster croquette from their “Musselmania” menu. It was a delightful balance—crispy on the outside, soft and tender within. For the main course, I chose the Thai mussels, served in a generous pot infused with lemongrass, coconut milk, fine herbs, and just the right touch of spice. Each bite was a burst of flavor—comforting, aromatic, and deeply satisfying. My wife opted for the French onion soup, which leaned a bit too beefy and sweet for my taste, but she enjoyed it. Her main course, the bistro burger with cognac Dijon, was simply outstanding. Rich, savory, and perfectly cooked—it was the kind of dish that makes you pause and savor every bite. We ended our meal with a velvety chocolate mousse and piping hot coffee, toasted and nutty in flavor—an ideal finish to a memorable afternoon. Our server, Carlos, was fantastic. Attentive without being intrusive, he made sure everything flowed smoothly and added a personal touch that elevated the entire experience.

Went here for a dinner one Sunday evening and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was great. We had the fried calamari, spicy ahi tuna tartar and the Steak Frites - all of which turned out good. We sat outside and the ambience was good too.

Seafood market
Jordan Lobster Farms is a longstanding seafood destination with a maritime theme, featuring both raw and cooked dishes as well as an outdoor patio. Established in 1938, this family-owned establishment goes beyond being just a restaurant; it also operates as a fish market, clam bar, and sushi bar. Whether you opt for outdoor seating with views of Long Beach Bridge or the cozy indoor dining area, you can savor delectable clams, oysters, and lobster.
We had a great experience at Jordan Lobster Farms! Our waitress, Melissa, was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we sat down. We started with the fried calamari, which was excellent—crispy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. For our mains, we tried the grilled swordfish, which was decent but could’ve used a bit more seasoning, and the lobster roll with salad, which was fresh and satisfying. The overall vibe was relaxed and enjoyable. Definitely a spot we’d come back to for a casual seafood meal.

I had a fantastic experience at Jordan Lobster Farms, and everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. It’s definitely a place worth visiting if you love seafood. We started with the Oysters, which were incredibly fresh and briny — exactly how oysters should be. The Lobster Bisque Soup was rich, creamy, and full of lobster flavor, while the Clam Chowder Soup was hearty and comforting with just the right texture. The Fries Platter was golden, crispy, and perfect for sharing. The White Wine Mussels were another highlight — tender mussels cooked in a delicious broth that was so good we couldn’t resist dipping bread into it. Of course, the star of the meal was the Steamed Lobster, which was perfectly cooked, sweet, and juicy — truly the best way to enjoy lobster. The ambience was very nice, with a relaxing and welcoming vibe that made the dining experience even more enjoyable. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure everything came out just right. Overall, everything was excellent — fresh seafood, great service, and a lovely atmosphere. Jordan Lobster Farms is a must-visit, and I’ll definitely be coming back again to enjoy more of their seafood dishes.

I had bacon wrapped scallops and the clam chowder with a small chocolate cake. Scallops were only okay in my opinion. Seemed a little bit tough. Whatever the sauce was that went with it was great and I had takeout. Parking is excellent in the Big lot across the street. There is both a dine-in area and the day I was there patio area was open but I did not take advantage of it.

I had an excellent dining experience at Jordan Lobster Farms. The lobster bisque soup was rich and the oyster were fresh, clean and nice presented. Everything from the seafood quality to the overall dining experience reflected great care and prohessionalism

This spot has become our go-to for a lobster dinner. Even friends with seafood allergies have plenty of alternatives, from burgers to pastas. The lobster dinner comes with fries, coleslaw, and corn on the cob. We also tried the cherry stone clams on the half shell, raw oysters, and fish and chips—all enjoyable. My only small critique is that the lobster was just a touch overcooked, so the meat wasn’t as springy as I prefer. Otherwise, everything tasted great. The service was fine, though not particularly attentive—I heard they were short-staffed that day, so that may explain it. We had a cozy corner seat with a lovely view of the water, though the gulls were a bit loud. Overall, it was another good experience. I come here often, and while each visit is slightly different—especially depending on whether it’s a holiday or not—it remains a favorite.

A staple in the Long Beach community. Outdoor seating. Good food. Nice staff. Outdoor counter service available. Lobster bisque is a must. Lobster 🦞 roll is small and the bun was soggy. Blackened cod was good. On the expensive side so bring your credit cards 💳. Give this place a try. We will definitely be going back

The food was good and the seafood was really fresh and tasty. We liked the decor and atmosphere. The service left something to be desired because you could tell they are understaffed. Overall a great experience and we plan to go back.

The hostess and waitstaff were friendly and quick to get our party of 9 seated. As far as the food was concerned, gets a B- the lobster wasn’t cooked thoroughly, and was a bit chewy the fries were a bit too well done. The New England clam chowder, was a bit watery and was missing the wow factor. And the corn on the cob tasted as it should. The shrimp was pretty good. Over all a nice experience, lots to see both indoor and outdoor seating available.

Nestled along the picturesque riverfront, The Oar Steak & Seafood Grille is a delightful nautical-themed eatery that offers an unforgettable dining experience. With its charming dockside seating, guests can enjoy stunning views while savoring expertly grilled steak and seafood dishes. This vibrant spot on West Avenue in Patchogue not only serves up delicious meals but also features live bands that enhance the lively atmosphere. The menu at The Oar is diverse, ensuring there's something for everyone to enjoy.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had the most wonderful lunch at The Oar! The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful, with a stunning view overlooking the water that made for a perfect, peaceful setting. I treated myself to lunch and, at first, was a little nervous dining solo, but the warm and welcoming service made me feel completely at ease. Now, let’s talk about the food—out of this world! I had the eggplant, goat cheese, and fig spread panini, and every bite was an absolute delight. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and it was easily one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. I also started with the coconut shrimp, which was fabulous—crispy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. To top it all off, the coconut martini was the perfect finishing touch! From the delicious food to the attentive service and breathtaking view, everything about my experience at The Oar was exceptional. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic meal in a beautiful setting!

Awesome waterfront restaurant. The vibe is spot on, staff are friendly and accommodating. We have been to this restaurant both during the week and weekends and have not had difficulty getting a slip. The food is delicious, cocktails are expertly prepared. The wait staff, although quite busy, don’t miss a beat. On our most recent experience we had the pleasure of being served by Lucas. He was the best! This will be a restaurant I head to all summer long.

We had such an incredible experience dining here—truly unforgettable! We were lucky enough to visit on Labor Day Monday and take advantage of their special Lobster Fest promotion: 2 lobsters for just $44! What a steal for such delicious, perfectly cooked lobster. The meat was tender and flavorful, and the portion was generous. If you’re a seafood lover, this is a deal you don’t want to miss. Another standout dish was the burrata. I’ve had burrata at many places, but this one ranks among the best. Creamy, fresh, and beautifully presented—definitely a must-try! The ambiance added so much to the experience. There was live music playing in the background, creating a lively yet relaxing atmosphere. The views of the water and yachts made everything feel like a mini vacation. We arrived just in time to catch the sunset, and it was absolutely magical. It’s also a great spot for families. They’re doing something really fun for kids with these adorable boat-themed water cups—such a creative touch that the little ones loved. Overall, everything from the food to the setting was top-notch. I highly recommend this place for a memorable meal, whether you're going with family, friends, or on a date. Can’t wait to go back!

We spent the afternoon, at The Oar, in Patchogue. We started off inside the Bar, but soon moved outside, to enjoy the last vestiges of warm weather. They have a great Happy Hour, and Bartender Beth, besides being one of the most efficient Bartenders on the South Shore, is a hoot.... Great person.. Food was good, drinks better, service beyond excellent We will be going back here Missed all the food pictures, but I had the mussels in white sauce. They were some of the best mussels I've had in a long time.. It gets very crowded, so get there early.. Mary, the manager, and Beth the bartender, keep things going in the right direction,, Very pleasant people to deal with

a great location for a really bad food and service. It wasn’t a busy time when we went there . But we’ve been asked to order everything at once .and even after that the food was bad. Baked clams had sand in it.coconut on the coconut shrimp was off. Lobster wonton had cream cheese instead of lobster so not good experience.

Service, food, beverage, and atmosphere were all great. Deborah was an amazing server who was knowledgeable about the whole menu, personable with all guests and was attentive to all needs. Food was great! Calamari was perfectly cooked as it was soft and wonderfully breaded with a marinara sauce with roasted garlic. I came with my grandparents and they enjoyed their entrées as did I. Roasted duck, pan roasted halibut, seafood fra diavolo, and chocolate bread pudding we can all attest to being good dishes. Food quality did not affect plate size as all the dishes came at respectable sizes. Their Honey Duece was better than the one at the open this year. 😬 Would definitely come back again if I’m in the area and may even take the trip from Brooklyn just to come back.

We had an amazing time here, and every aspect of the meal we had was impeccable. The view and setting from our table on the dock were lovely, especially over sunset. The oysters were the best we’d ever had and didn’t even really require garnishing. The fish of the day (monkfish) was delicious, the seared scallops were tender and perfect, and the cocktails were well-balanced without being too sweet. But the best part of our evening was our server, Jessica G., who was fun, kind, and attentive the whole night! Her timing was perfect each time she brought food or drinks, and she was personable without intruding. We had one of the best dining experiences that I’ve had, and Jessica was a large part of that. Definitely coming back again to try lunch (and for more oysters)!

I’ve been to the oar multiple times. Their coconut martini is out of this world and really what drives me to go there. They have wonderful prefixed dinners on certain nights and everything that you eat there will melt your taste buds. The vibe is nice. The staff is nice. The one thing unfortunately is that they are not dog friendly outside. However, I would return as this place is so tasty.

There was a line here on a Monday afternoon for lunch! We waited maybe 10-15 minutes. It wasn’t bad at all. Definitely get the lobster spring rolls. This was better than our entrees. Every bite had a large chunk of lobster and the sauce really enhanced the flavor. Pulled pork sandwich was on the lunch special. It was pretty good. Not extraordinary. Tuna wrap was okay. Something is missing. Not sure what. The staff is very nice and kind!

The lobster and avocado rolls were delicious. The cod was also spectacular. But even more impressive was the service! Danielle was excited to tell us about the menu and talk to us. For a great feel of what Sag Harbor has to offer, I’d go here for outdoor dining, which gives you a perfect view of the sunset.

Great ambiance, my friends pot pie was delicious, but sadly our lobster was very over cooked. Manager was nice enough to take it off the bill, the service was not great either waiter never checked on us after the food came. I would try it again as my dish looked great but the lobster ruined it.

I had the lightly breaded cod with mash and Spinach, yum!! My friend had the roasted poblano pepper stuffed with pork, I had a bite, WOW, so good! The only downside side was it was super bright in there like a cafeteria and there wasn't really any music playing so the atmosphere wasn't good, luckily they have great food !!

I enjoyed my meal here! I had the baked clams and tuna nachos. The baked clams were delicious and flavorful(6 pieces). Delicious to dip the rosemary bread in! The tuna nachos were not over the top but good! It could have used another texture, maybe some avocado or edamame. The staff were kind and the outdoor view is a 10/10 on a warm day. I would recommend this place!

My first time here with my families Food was ok but not flavorful most of them just plain don’t get me wrong i been many places try different foods i do expect the seafood here but came out a little disappointed, lobster rolls was plain no flavor, and the pasta seafood a lot of different clams still plain flavor and I found a little sand in side the clams most of them , and one more thing the steak sandwich the bread was a little brunt, but one thing here was great it’s a server was very nice and the place was very beautiful .

A Lure never disappoints. The view is amazing. The rear outdoor patio is very scenic and beautifully done. I had made 8pm reservations for a Friday for my husband and myself. I had a perfectly made spicy margarita and then we ordered a Cesar salad and sautéed calamari to start with. Both delish. The calamari was so tender and the salsa was fantastic. Nice, healthy app! I ordered the grilled swordfish with “forbidden rice” and mango salsa. It came with some very fresh green beans. The fish was cooked perfectly. I had never seen black rice before but the flavors were outstanding with the coconut and mango combo. I would eat this every night if i could. My husband ordered the macadamia-coconut crusted flounder. The fish was fried and had a delicious crust. Very large portions. It also came with green beans but the sweet potato purée was so good that I wanted it to be the last thing I tasted! The service was excellent and the restaurant is decorated perfectly with elegant nautical vibes….and you cannot beat that view! They have curtains to separate the dining room for private parties and the bar was packed last night. Big parking lot and very easy to get to. Highly recommended!

Aperitif Bistro Wine Bar is a charming French bistro located in Rockville Centre. The restaurant boasts an elegant ambiance with red velvet and Moroccan tiles, creating a romantic setting for diners. The menu features small plates and a wide selection of wines to complement the dining experience. Customers have praised the beautiful decor and delectable food offerings, including escargot, seafood towers, lobster risotto, and duck a l'orange.
We had an absolutely fantastic meal at Apéritif Bistro in Rockville Centre. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. We began with the mussels special, prepared with roasted garlic, rosemary, ouzo, and feta cheese—an incredible combination of flavors. Next, we had the soup du jour, a rich and comforting potato leek soup with Gruyère cheese. For my main course, I ordered the seafood salad and requested a touch of garlic, which the kitchen happily accommodated. The result was phenomenal—fresh, vibrant, and reminiscent of a delicious ceviche. Lastly, we enjoyed the grilled filet of branzino, perfectly cooked and served with a side of asparagus. Not only was the food exceptional, but the service was also extraordinary. A special shoutout to our bartender, Jamal, who was phenomenal! He was incredibly pleasant, offered excellent suggestions, and was very personable, making our experience even more enjoyable. We truly cannot say enough positive things about this place. Highly recommend!

Fantastic food and service. Ignore the 3 people below giving a 1 star review for oysters. All restaurants save their seafood tag and if you really got food poisoning you would report it and the restaurant has to show proof of the tag. All assumptions for those three people.

Beyond my expectations! Restaurant week menu was delicious, my husband and I got the lamb chops and escargot to start- both delicious & my first time having escargot. Safe to say I am a fan!! my entree was the filet Mignon over butternut squash risotto SO GOOD and his was the hanger steak with sweet potato French fries - he said it was great! We ended off with both dessert options I forgot what his was called but I had the red wine pears with ice cream. The drinks were great and the espresso martinis were perfectly made. We absolutely love dining with John at the bar on Sundays and Tuesdays! The Portabella mushroom appetizer is to die for and the hearts of Palm salad is hands-down, my favorite salad anywhere, I have a very difficult time going there and not ordering it. Amazing restaurant with a tasteful interior - low lit tables, comfortable seating, and quiet! Would be a great place for a date or nice family dinner. Not too mention the fantastic view of the harbor My friends and I went here to celebrate my birthday, the staff were incredibly attentive and personable. Chelsey was our waiter, he frequently checked in on us and our glasses were never empty. Oysters - fresh and flavorful. Cesar salad - well seasoned. Beet salad - my personal favorite of the appetizers, the beets were wonderfully cold and sweet with arugula and goat cheese. Clam chowder - perfect execution of a classic. Tuna tartare - again amazing, fresh tuna, well seasoned Hamburger - fantastic Lobster Garganelli - delicious, didn’t feel heavy despite being a pasta dish Bouillabaisse - another hit, my friend’s favorite ever Their brownie was the perfect way to end the night Was a pricey night but we got 5 apps, 3 mains, dessert, and a bottle of wine. One of, if not the best restaurants to go to near Southampton. Service, location, and overall atmosphere is just wonderful. Whether you sit at the bar which does take reservations, or at a dining room table, it is an absolute joy to visit The Bell and Anchor. Some menu highlights include the mussels, and Fritto Misto appetizers, any combination of the different oysters available, and the flat iron steak w French fries and sautéed spinach. Drinks are delicious and the bartenders are very nice, especially Carl. Will be back soon & often! New menu item was a fish in parchment paper with jasmine rice and coconut curry sauce, a new favorite ❤️

For me a 3.5. Overall a nice restaurant with pretty good food. Chowder was tasty but the best appetizer was the frito misto. Perfectly crunchy batter and not at all oily. While chowder was good it was a little inconsistent. Some bowls were hot but some were barely warm and it was a little watery. Octopus special was also good, octopus was tender and cooked well. PB&O was a little odd for my group. I think the kimchi flavor didn’t work for us. Fish and chips was an overall favorite, tender flaky fish and crispy batter but some pieces were soggy on the bottom . Caesar salad was good. Beautiful presentation and flavorful dressing. Garganelli was a little underwhelming. Sauce was a little bland and the lobster didn’t add much flavor.

We had the pleasure of dining here last night. Absolutely blown away by the customer service , attention to detail, and absolutely delicious food from start to finish. My daughter who recently had to become gluten free was with us - it’s always alittle stressful eating out when you have dietary restrictions, the staff went above and beyond for her. The waiter asked her name ( she’s only 9) and spoke with her directly ensuring her that there were many options for her and if there was anything we didn’t see to just ask! What a great experience, our family can’t wait to go back again soon.

We were invited here with friends and never tried it before. The service was good and quick , he even noticed our drinks weren’t how we asked when he went to serve them, so he was very attentive. All of us ordered different dinners and sides. The fillet of sole roberto was quite flavorful , the duck was very good, and the stuffed veal was delicious as well. My chicken parmigiana was ok , unfortunately I felt it lacked flavor, specifically the sauce, other than that all the food was quite good. Overall we were happy with the experience.

The interior is cozy & give a "dark lounge" feel, the first two tables by the entrance were not used for the event but I am/would definitely come back to book those, they were so cute!!! The staff was incredibly kind & the manager Jason was accommodating and extremely helpful. The food looked out of this world in the best possible way!! I highly recommend eating here! If you're looking for a place to eat in Huntington - skip the places on main street Piccolo is the best!

This is a cozy spot with great food and service. It’s been around since I was young (u grew up in Huntington). Staff is very attentive. Food is fresh and portion size is good - I usually bring home leftovers for the next day. I’m not one to spend a lot at restaurants so this is more of a special occasion place for us, as it’s pricey / for my typical comfort zone. Great place to sit for hours with a friend talking - or a romantic dinner date. Tables are mostly close together and it can get noisy. I went once for Christmas and I’d never do that again / we waited a very very long time for our food / and it was not its usual caliber / but I didn’t know what to expect. Staff is engaging and attentive. LOVE IT HERE ! Great desserts - it’s my birthday pick many years.

Last Friday, we took our 21-year-old son out for dinner before his departure for senior year. He was craving chicken Parm. It had been some time since we visited this restaurant, which was a sweet chapter many years ago for us. What an amazing experience. First of all, made a reservation put a comment in the open table about Our son’s “last meal“. The hosts were right on it. Often we find that restaurants ignore comments about special meals. Piccolo absolutely did not. They picked a wonderful table for us, The kind of table you want for a special dinner. Then, we met Georgie. There is no way I can describe the experience of him taking care of us. It was stellar. Old school, Phenomenal waitering. I only hope for your sake, the risotto is on the specials menu, just to hear him say that word. Dinner was wonderful. No one rushed us. No one pushed us for the extra glass of wine. Kitchen timed dinner after the appetizers perfectly. I can only wish you the same experience we had, and we will be back often. Thank you, Piccolo.

The service was above and beyond. There was nothing we could have wanted that they did not provide. The food was delicious and ample servings. And a nice variety of selections. Even though the restaurant was full we were still able to hold a conversation and hear each other.

Ocean is an upscale beachfront restaurant offering a variety of seafood and American dishes, with the added bonus of patio seating that provides stunning views of the ocean. Guests can expect excellent service and valet parking upon arrival. The food is described as delicious, making it a great choice for a romantic date or special occasion. Visitors have praised the incredible sunset views from their outdoor seating area and complimented the friendly staff.
Bella was absolutely amazing. Very attentive and personable waitress. She made our experience here worth it by her amazing personality and making recommendations on amazing food and drinks. More waitresses like Bella would be an asset to your establishment. The view is absolutely breath taking.

My mom and I visited on Wednesday. The atmosphere was great and the view was amazing. We had Arianna as our server and she was great. She was attentive but not overbearing, and she recommended wonderful items from the menu. If I had to rate the drinks they were 10/10 and the food is 8 out of 10. I would definitely go back.

Had the pleasure of celebrating my Husband’s birthday at Ocean on Saturday night. Not only was the view breathtaking but the service was impeccable. Our servers Zach and Anthony paid careful attention to make sure we were enjoying our experience and truly went above and beyond. I recommend the Crab Cake and Calamari. The kids enjoyed their cheeseburgers, husband loved the Salmon with Wild Rice and I had the Sushi which was absolutely delicious and fresh. This was our second time there within a week and continues to be our family favorite. ❤️ so lucky to have such a wonderful Restaurant so close to home!

Came on a sunday afternoon for lunch. The atmosphere is great, and the outdoor seats allow for good views of the ocean, although guests are prohibited from going to the beach area. The food was alright. The crab cakes and duck tacos were good appetizers. The $10 bread was alright, but nothing special. The squid calamari was very dry, and all the squid meat was shriveled and chewy. For entrees, the noodles of the ocean pasta were a little overcooked and mushy, although the sauce was pretty good. The halibut fish was fine, but the asparagus on the bottom was overcooked and mushy. The veal chop lacked salt and was overall underwhelming for its 65 dollar price tag. The lobster in the lobster roll didn't taste fresh, and some of the salt and vinegar chips weren't even fully cooked, they were still soft. They also didn't have any vinegar flavor.

Beautiful night to watch the sunset while enjoying dinner and drinks! Our server David was excellent. Very professional, kind and attentive to our table as well as others he was tending too. I had the lobster roll which was full of fresh lobster and my wife had salmon. The bread was an up charge but so worth it. Crispy and delicious. Drinks were amazing and the sunset was spectacular. Below us was a private party with a live band so we got to listen to Jimmy Buffet Margarita music and a variety of songs. Perfect night at Ocean restaurant. .

The atmosphere is very pleasant, but if you don't keep consuming, don't think you'll be able to stay longer, enjoying the atmosphere and considering ordering more, as they'll compulsively ask you if you're going to order anything else and bring you the bill without asking. The prices are quite high considering the amount of food. They easily charge $45 for a roll with six small pieces of lobster.

Ocean is an absolutely beautiful venue alone. The peaceful sound of the crashing waves outside sets the mood for the rest of the service. It’s stunning and feels like something away from home, truly. Entering, my husband and I weren’t greeted by staff, which I noticed they did for others who were ahead of us. We stood around awkwardly for a while before someone finally took notice of us and offered a table. We were handed the menus quickly, but again, it took some time before we had our choice of water offered. With the initial hiccups out of the way with service, the food was phenomenal! We had the calamari (which was so tender and delicious that I didn’t snap a photo!) and our entrees afterwards were just as good. My husband had the catch of the day, which was fresh and beautifully cooked and I had the seafood pasta. Just as fresh and the sauce was fantastic! We were too full to try dessert, but other tables around us had ordered and the options looked amazing! I would absolutely recommend Ocean for a date night or something special for an out of town friend. It’s worth it!

I recently visited Ocean with my wife last Saturday, and I’m afraid the experience was far from enjoyable. Although the location boasts a stunning view of the sea, the rest of our visit was a major letdown. To start, the drinks were fantastic well-made and refreshing, which set some initial expectations. Unfortunately, the food was a complete disappointment. It lacked any flavor and was incredibly bland. To make matters worse, the prices were outrageously high for such subpar dishes. We faced an unnecessarily long wait for our food. After waiting 15 minutes just for the menu, we were told to wait even longer for our meals to arrive. When the food finally did arrive, it wasn’t worth the wait, and definitely not worth the price. What followed was even more upsetting. As soon as we finished, the waitstaff was very rude. They quickly came to clear the table and presented us with the bill without any regard for our comfort or satisfaction. When I politely asked the waitress why she was being so abrupt, her response was blunt: she "needed the table now." The restaurant was nearly empty, and no other customers were waiting for seats, so this response felt completely out of place. I then approached the manager to express my concerns, hoping for a resolution. Instead, I was met with an astonishingly rude response from a man wearing a cheap Invicta flashy watch. He claimed that the menu stated we were only entitled to the table for 90 minutes, something we had not been informed of at any point during our visit. This explanation was utterly unprofessional and unnecessary. In all my years dining out, I’ve never been treated this way. It felt as if the managers simply wanted to rush us out of the door, with no care for providing a pleasant dining experience. My wife and I were both taken aback, but I refrained from escalating the situation out of respect for her and to avoid making a scene. Sadly, I will not be returning to this restaurant, and I would not recommend it to anyone looking for a genuinely enjoyable dining experience.

First visit and a pleasure. I was driving home to Shelter Island and checking Dinner options. Low and behold, nothing open Monday night that i could make it to. Drive depressed and hungry and spotted lights and cars on left at North Sea Tavern. Best burger in long time, cooked perfectly juicy accompanied by delicious blue cheese side salad with tomatoes, carrots and fresh lettuce. Since it was wing night, had to try buffalo wings. Perfect, crisp, spicy and full of flavor. Look forward to next Monday when I can try some of every type. BBQ , Buffalo etc.

Asahi Hibachi Sushi is a laid-back local Japanese restaurant that offers both sushi and hibachi dining experiences with interactive tableside chefs. Visitors rave about the freshness of the ingredients and generous portion sizes, making it worth the slightly higher prices. The menu surprises with options like Mongolian beef alongside delicious sushi selections. Guests appreciate the value, especially noting that the kids' hibachi meal provides ample food at a lower price point.
Drove down from CT to take my son out for dinner. Saw the reviews and decided to take him here. Best. Decision. Ever! From the service, to the drinks, to the freshness of the sushi, Asahi is outstanding!!! And their seafood pad thai...mouthwatering!!! It's worth all the gas and tolls! Can't wait to come back!

We always pass by this place so we decided to finally go here for dinner, to start off the food was Really good. The sushi was fresh and tasty , the hibachi was good as well I got the filet and shrimp hibatchi combo with fried rice and veggies , the food was good everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly. I have to say though unfortunately the service wasn’t good, the staff is nice but they are very slow. We waiting a really long time for our drinks and our soups and salads. Then finally the hibachi chef came out, we waiting a long time for our sushi to be made so it was like everything came out at once because it all took a very long time , then even at the end we waited a while for our check , so if you want a fairly quick meal do not come here because they take a very long time for everything, but if you want good sushi and hibachi then come here !! 6/10 because of the service unfortunately.

Whenever I come to eat here the staff is not very welcoming and they tend to make guests feel rushed. The lady taking our order on the phone was very rude as well as the other staff members. We specified at least 5 times that we wanted an order of rice with no onions because we had someone that was allergic to them. I had to repeat the order many, many times to the lady on the phone. We received the order and both orders of rice had onions in them. I ordered orange chicken as well and it didn’t smell or taste like it does at the restaurant. My order was over $40. When we called back to complain the lady hung up on us and only offered $17 back on my next order. There were small dark hairs in the rice as well. That’s completely disgusting and unsanitary. We called back once again when we found the hairs and the worker laughed at us and told us to call the next day. We called back for the third time, the next day, as they requested, and another lady said that we needed to bring the food in for inspection. Why would we keep gross food especially when they didn’t even tell us the night previous to the third call. Asahi made us waste a lot of food, money, and time for no reason.

Food flavor is delicious!! We really enjoyed the food. We had the chicken Teryiaki bento box, gyoza and shumai and we loved our meal! Now, we went there prior to closing and we are not sure if that impacted our experience, but service was ok depending on the person. I took a star off due to the ambiance. The place is very outdated in and out so the full dining experience was affected by it. We were seated on the back. This place is now our go to spot for Japanese food for take out.

If you're a seafood lover, Schultzy's Restaurant is a must-visit destination that opened its doors in May 2021. Nestled in Bayville, Oyster Bay, this charming eatery offers an impressive bay-to-table raw bar featuring fresh shrimp, clams, oysters, and lobsters that are sure to tantalize your taste buds. But that's not all! The menu boasts an array of delectable dishes like the Fire Roasted Oysters and Seafood Fra Diavolo with Linguini.

The lobster and shrimp soup were particularly delicious, and the lobster roll with homemade fries was outstanding. The restaurant manager was exceptionally welcoming, making for a very enjoyable conversation.

We came here on our small getaway with my husband on his birthday. It was a Saturday night, and of course, i didn't make reservations ahead of time, thinking that Long Island is not so busy as the rest of NYC. We got lucky and got seated as a walk-ins at 6 pm, with the time frame to leave by 8 pm. Which was more than enough time for us. Our waitress was very pleasant and friendly, with a nice personality. We did not order the main course, but we got a couple of starters, one side, and 2 drinks. The lobster biscque is the BEST i ever had in my life. I wanted to order the second plate, but Im glad i did not. Grilled octopus was huge and super delicious. The rest of the food was also great. And it was a big portion considering that it was all starters. Drinks were ok. We ordered special cocktails from the menu, and they were not as impressive as food. They were very strong and not too flavorful. But maybe i just made the wrong choice of a cocktail. Also, almost in the end, we noticed that every table was getting bread with butter in the beginning, and we did not get any. And it looked really yammy. We mentioned it to our waitress, and she was so kind to wrap up some bread and butter with herbs for us. And it was so delicious just as we imagined it. So i just want to say a big thank you to her, I did not catch her name, but she will know. And big thank you to everyone who makes that place so wonderful and delicious. Will definitely come back again to have more of that lobster bisque.

We visited Schultzy's on St Patrick's Day evening and it was a lot of fun...I'm not sure if it's a neighborhood bar hitting above its weight class or if it's a sophisticated seafood destination, but we found it to be a refined seafood restaurant and we're already planning our next visit. All our dishes were very good and as described and we are looking forward to trying different dishes including the paella, which wasn't available the night we visited. Very good.

Grand Army is a stylish bar in Downtown Brooklyn that offers an inviting space for patrons to enjoy sophisticated cocktails, craft beers, and raw-bar items such as oysters. The lobster roll at Grand Army is highly praised for its fresh taste and generous portions of lobster meat adorned with celery and just enough mayo.
Grand Army offers cocktails, drinks, and elevated American bar food. The happy hour includes oysters and discounts on selected drinks. Their house dirty martini is flavorful and savory, and they offered very tasty Montauk(?) oysters. Hot dogs were also tasty.

This is a neighborhood cocktail bar but also the kind of place that impresses at the same time. The atmosphere is sophisticated but welcoming, and they have cute outdoor seating. The cocktail program changes seasonally, and what’s great is that they’ll save some of the most popular cocktails on their regular menu, like the “I’d like to buy a vowel, Pat.” Their food menu features seafood dishes. The oyster selection is always excellent, and their lobster roll is good. Their bread is under-rated; it comes with a nice house butter that I think has paprika and has a nice depth of flavor. Don’t come here too hungry, though, as the price of the food options can add up quickly. The service is always excellent. Carson, if she still works there, is our favorite server, and she has given us complimentary tiny cocktails before, making us feel at home.

Had a great time (as per usual) at Grand Army for Friday happy hour. It was pretty packed, but we were able to nab one of the last open tables. Our server was very helpful and attentive. Drinks were great and had the coolest shaped ice cubes! The oysters were also phenomenal, as was the truffle dog. Great spot!

I’ve been coming here 1-2 times a year, for years (business traveller). While the drinks were always spectacular, I always found most of the servers a little too cool/ miserable/ unsmiling. Patty has changed this. I was here twice this week, and the food was outstanding, drinks still on point, but the staff were super nice. Keep hold of Patty.

Visited Grand Army this past weekend. Highly recommend making a reservation if you decide to go. Morty's Oyster Stand, located in Napeague Stretch, Amagansett, NY, is a popular spot for those seeking fresh seafood and creative coastal cuisine. While the focus is on seafood, there are also options like sautéed langoustine and linguine with clams for variety.

I read some of the reviews here where they gave 1 or 2 stars and I think that's an unfair rating. The restaurant decor is really nice and chic, the staff were personable and very friendly, the drinks were a bit pricey, food options were great and balanced. We mainly tried the seafood options and the quality, taste and presentation was very satisfying.

Food was perfection, service was amazing and we even got to meet the owner! He sat next to us and he was so friendly, he even treated us to an amazing dessert. Also, the decor was beautiful too. Overall a perfect experience. :-)

The only reason I gave this place two stars and not one is because the food quality is decent. Try to avoid eating here, the food is WAY overpriced, it is very clear that this place is a TOURIST TRAP they use the fact that they're in the middle of nowhere to charge as much as they want . Oysters are 3$ a pop and tiny lobster roll is 32$ but the best part was the mussels which usually come with toasted bread in any respectful establishment but when we asked about it we were asked to pay 2$ extra for bread. The staff is friendly but you won't be seeing me coming back.

Exactly what you'd expect for a waterside dining spot in NYC, but slightly better. The prices weren't AS high as other places I've been to, and the food was a BIT better. We got lots of plump, juicy oysters, fries, and the bluefish dip. The drinks were similar (or the same) as the Grand Banks ones, with the Permanent Vacation being the most fun/photogenic, the Tropicalia being the most refreshing, and the Tropic Like Its Hot. being the most forgettable. It's no French Riviera, but this is probably as good as it gets for NYC waterfront dining.
Josephine L — Google review
We were there on a Saturday night so we sat at the bar to avoid waiting for a table. We had the dozen oysters and 2 cocktails. The bill came out to be $90 + tip . The oysters were $4 each but should have really been $1 The quality was so bad and it’s what I would expect from $1 oysters. Truth be told, I have had better $1 oysters. The quality was poor and 4 of the oysters had shell in them. The cocktails were surprisingly good in comparison to the oysters. But if I am paying $18 for a cocktail I don’t want it in a plastic cup. After our bad luck with the oysters we decided to leave and find restaurant in lower Manhattan.

Killer view and staff that hustles, but the food? They had no fish or lobster even though it was on the menu. Really. The oysters and Caesar salad were meh. The raw shrimp were good. So, why give a license to a mediocre restaurant at such a great location? Find a better operator!

When we sat at the bar to order, the man at the front sighed like we had the temerity to be customers. We were silent. He followed with the fact that he had just gotten a big order, sighed again, and said, "You're just gonna have to wait". I stood and told my friend we should try the restaurant at our lodging because I felt like a burden here. We noted another staff member and asked him to help us. The service improved. The food did not though. The fish and chips was overdone, but I was starving. My friend's chips with the dip were also overdone. I would encourage you to eat earlier than we did mid-week as most of the places on the island closed early. The price at this restaurant is not commensurate with the food and you may well be considered an inconvenience.

Nestled just across the bridge from Oyster Bay to Bayville, The Clam Bar at Bridge Marine is a delightful hidden gem that you might easily overlook. Set within a charming marina on West Harbor, this spot features cozy covered tables and an inviting outdoor bar where visitors can enjoy the vibrant atmosphere. Boaters often dock at its impressive 160-foot floating dock to savor some of the freshest seafood around, including clams harvested right from the nearby waters.
Title: Hidden Gem on the Water – Outstanding Service & Food After being very disappointed with the staff at The Crescent earlier today, my wife and I stumbled upon this beautiful clam bar on the water — and what a find it was. Kailey, our server, was nothing but kind, professional, and courteous from start to finish. The food was absolutely outstanding: I enjoyed a dozen little neck clams, perfectly crispy coconut shrimp, and an amazing lobster roll. There was plenty of parking, and the views of the drawbridge opening and closing made the experience even more special. We will definitely be back the next time we’re on this side of the coast.

Easy to see right off of Main Street servicing Bayville. Plenty of parking. Moderately clean facilities. Outdoor dining only. Very nice staff and Manager, but the Kitchen is very slow. No reservations. Small portions. On the expensive side so bring your credit cards. As the sunset there were many mosquitoes 🦟 and I was bitten several times. Seafood is good. The corn was very good! Nice view. I'll most likely be going back. Hopefully I can raise my rating.

This place is a true Long Island staple.great view. Great food. Just good times all around. The shrimp cocktail to start was super fresh and tender. My lobster roll was so tasty and delicious

I grew up in this town and used to come here all the time. I now live in the city and drove an hour to get here with my wife and 3 kids- as I arrived the said they are closed even though their voicemail says they close at 9pm. The team and blond headed kid who was manager couldn’t accommodate us and rudely shut us down. This was extremely disappointing and inappropriate considering I explained my situation. He said the kitchen was closed when I saw that they were cooking and there were guests that just sat down and just got their drinks. DO BETTER and fix your voicemail that says the incorrect time. I spent so much of my childhood at this bar and played football across the steeet such a sad experience for my family now have to drive hour hone

Last weekend I went to dinner at this place, they made us wait 40 minutes to be able to sit down and when they finally gave us a table, I had asked if possible, to have a low table to be more comfortable and they made me sit at a high table. I ordered a mojito and it was too unbalanced with the portions and I didn't like it. I tried the fried shrimp and they were good, soft inside and crispy outside. To continue I ordered the loster empanadas with french fries and the taste was good but the dish was a bit too heavy. The environment is nice due to the view and proximity to the ocean. My experience was not the best.

We love going here, sitting in the sun, with great food, great service. Our favorite summer stop!

Beautiful setting, looking over creek and Mill Neck Estates. Everything is out doors. The food is good, a lot of seafood dishes as one would think. They always have steamer which are my favorite! Lobsters, clams, lobster salad & roll, only place i know that sells just lobster claws. Fish, French fries, burgersa big list of dishes and a wine and mix drink.

Nestled in a charming neighborhood, Maracuja is a delightful spot that offers an enticing menu of tapas and pintxos, complemented by an impressive selection of beer, natural wines, and cocktails. The name "Maracuja," which translates to passion fruit in Portuguese, perfectly captures the essence of this inviting bar.
This place is FUN! Me and some friends stopped in before a nearby dinner and had the best time. Bartenders were terrific, drinks were affordable/strong, music was great. We liked it so much we came back after our dinner, and have returned several times since.

Quite literally the best time ever! I had the shittiest week and Pam and Tay completely lifted my mood. Kevin brought the brightest smile to my face at the door. And one of the regulars here, Cesar, was one of the kindest souls I’ve encountered. The entire staff is so welcoming - also had the greatest hair. Truly felt like family here. This is the spot you need to be!!!!! Felt like a piece of home here.

Kicked out over a pool whiteboard. Let that sink in. This bar used to be great back when Charlie and Connie ran it-chill atmosphere, good people, and a local bar where you could enjoy a game of pool. That’s clearly no longer the case. I stopped in for the first time in a while and was hit with tense, aggressive energy around the pool table. It was my turn to play, and suddenly people were coming at me from all directions in the middle of the game, demanding to know where my name was on the whiteboard. One guy wouldn’t let it go and insisted I erase my name off the board and the names above mine, so I did to stop the chaos. Next thing I know, the owner demands to know who erased the names. I explained what happened - calmly, no attitude. His response, “You need to leave now. I'm kicking you out". I was so taken aback and asked if he was serious? He said, "you’re causing a scene, people are mad about the whiteboard, you don't erase the names. I tried to explain it to him again and he just said, you need to leave now.” Over a whiteboard misunderstanding. No interest in what actually happened, just immediate overreaction. I didn't argue, just grabbed my bag and walked out, confused and quite frankly embarrassed. Only after my friend stepped in did the owner try to walk it back with a weak “sorry for coming in hot.” Too late. You don’t get to throw someone out in front of a crowd and then casually reverse it once you realize you overreacted. I’ve spent years supporting this bar. Apparently none of that matters. If you’re into weird ego trips and whiteboard drama, maybe this place still works for you. I’m done.

great bar and great vibes, but for me the bartenders are the best in the city. never have a bad time here, helps that the pool table is v nice also
Cam S — Google review
My favorite place to be on a Wednesday. Pamela and Rio are my favorite bartenders of any place I frequent. Always a good time AND of course the music is always fantastic :) the pool table is also one of the best with a great crowd any day of the week
Julia K — Google review
One star. I used to love this place when it was owned by the original couple — they built a warm, welcoming dive-bar atmosphere. Since the new ownership, the vibe has completely shifted, and not for the better. My best friend was kicked out for no good reason. In the middle of her game, some random guy instructed her to erase her name and the two names ahead of her, which she did. Instead of clarifying what actually happened, the manager unfairly blamed her and threw her out — a completely unnecessary overreaction that showed poor judgment. Separately, one of the girls waiting to play mistook my friend for me (we’re both Asian). That kind of mix-up isn’t just frustrating, it’s racially insensitive and highlights the unwelcoming crowd this place now attracts. Between the manager’s mishandling of the situation and the increasingly cliquey, insensitive atmosphere, this bar has lost what made it special. What used to be a neighborhood gem now feels overrun and mismanaged, and it’s no longer a place I can recommend.
Tiff C — Google review
When I tried to get a drink at the bar, the bartender (tallish thin presumably white women) immediately asked for my ID very aggressively, and before I could even take it out she told me I had to leave. I am in fact 21, but she was so unbelievably drunk and slurring her words that I guess she was confused cause she refused to even look at my ID. For more context, I have a regular horizontal non expired new jersey license and I don’t even look young for my age. I came into the bar perfectly sober and able to pay so there was no reason for me to be denied service. This situation was extremely unprofessional, and it was so clear how drunk off her ass this bartender was that it honestly made me uncomfortable that she’d be serving me drinks anyway.

I’ve never felt more comfortable being myself. It only took 5 minutes, and three shots, to think about how mal-equipped Better Help is to address my needs compared to treating that grandma couch as a chaise lounge. If there was ever a nurse who graced the cover of a blink 182 album, surely, they would be named either Rio or Tay.

Restaurant
Bostwick's on the Harbor in East Hampton offers breathtaking views of the harbor, making it a prime spot for watching stunning sunsets. The restaurant is renowned for its delectable seafood options, such as wood-fired oysters and fish tacos, while also offering non-seafood choices like goat cheese and fig pizza. Visitors can enjoy live music and a vibrant atmosphere. Although reservations are not accepted, the experience is well worth any wait.
Bostwick's on the Harbor features a casual setting with a lovely view of the harbor, making it a great spot for a relaxed meal. The ambiance complements the delicious seafood offerings, creating an inviting atmosphere for diners to enjoy both the food and the scenery. They offer a delightful dining experience with some standout dishes. The steamed mussels, infused with a subtle Thai coconut curry flavor, are a highlight and incredibly satisfying. The main course of sesame-seared yellowfin tuna is excellent, showcasing a perfect balance of flavors and textures. However, the steakhouse swordfish, while tasty, suffers from a small portion size, leaving diners wanting a bit more. The service can be hit or miss. Our server was not around most of the time, however a very nice lady who served us before, helped us even we weren’t her section. Basically she made the experience much better. Overall, it's a great spot for seafood lovers looking for unique flavors and quality dishes.

The service is great, everyone is very friendly especially at the host stand. We didn’t have a reservation and came as walk in, where we were informed it was over an hour wait. They provided us a buzzer and we walked around the marina, when before we knew it we were buzzed. We ordered the Mediterranean salad which was excellent and the salmon over soba noodles. Unfortunately the salmon was almost raw on the instead when we had asked for it to be medium well. They threw it back on the flame for us, but then the outside was burnt so we scraped off all of the exterior but the interior was still quite raw. All of that being said, the scenery was striking, watching the sunset over the harbor and I have to belief this was also a one off, as all of our experiences at the original Bostwick’s have been excellent.

My family & I went to Bostwick’s on the Harbor in East Hampton NY for the VERY FIRST TIME yesterday, and I have to say we were EXTREMELY IMPRESSED! 🥳❤️ I was so impressed that I took the time to make a youtube video that highlights our experience in further detail … feel free to copy and paste the following phrase on YouTube: “ #SeafoodReview of Bostwicks On The Harbor in East Hampton, New York🐟#thehamptons “ to get more details! The location is right on the water and in the heart of East Hamptons, with ample free parking which was awesome 😎 Right when we entered the establishment, the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The ambiance is very chill, and is a lovely place where you can have great convo with your family & friend, which is always a plus 🥰 The FOOD WAS AMAZING! We tried several dishes: from the rum punch which was nice and strong (and not too sweet exactly how I like it), to the crispy calamari which was literally THE BEST CALAMARI IVE HAD TO DATE! cooked to perfection, super crispy and tender and well seasoned WOW 🤩! [im a huge seafood lover & make fried calamari at home with my eyes closed, so for me to say i loved their calamari, i really LOVED it! we also tried the Mongolian bbq ribs, their truffle Parmesan fries, pistachio crusted swordfish && their seafood pasta (with scallops, shrimp, and lobster) and it was Amazing! I WILL 10000% be coming back here again and again this summer this is a place you definitely have to check out 🥰🤩

Very good seafood with showstopper sunset views. Wait times are a bit long on summer weekends, but it's to be expected. Service is on point as well.

This was an easy 5-star review all around! Stunning location, open only during the Hamptons season (roughly May through October) so get there while you can. You will be mesmerized by gorgeous sunsets and phenomenal views of the harbor. The food was excellent and very fresh. The wait is long and they do not take reservations, so come with the expectation that you will wait a while… BUT, the plus side is you can grab a cocktail and wait by the water as you hang out in this beautiful location. My favorite appetizer is the stuffed clams (a must-have) and for an entree you can’t go wrong with the seafood pastas or any fish entree!

One of our favorite Easthampton restaurants… Everything is delicious and the service is tops. We loved our server, Christina. She’s terrific. Favorites are all the fish dishes, lobster roll and steamers.

This was a great place to go for dinner even with a big group/kids. They don't take reservations so we got there right around 5pm and luckily we were seated right away (2 families with 9 people) on the outdoor balcony with views of the water. It was during the week and right when they opened so not as busy. The seafood menu had a good variety and the service was great.. Note: it's different than Bostwicks Chowder House menu which is much more casual. We will definitely return on our next trip!

Awesome!!! Oysters were magnificent! Oredered half of the appetizer menu and EVERYTHING was fantastic! Stephanie was lovely, but Conner was the bomb! Oh.. And the desserts were mouth watering! 10 stars!

Pros: food all the food was good, some dishes i expected more spice because of Louisiana style but solid oyster selection and entrees were good. Siracha margarita was good Also waitress told us chef had asked why we didnt eat all of one of the type of oysters in the sampler. It was the type with bacon and such and i said it was just too much filling to oyster ratio. Its great that they genuinely want feedback Cons: service, a very busy night so i understand to a point but i didnt see our waitress much and she got oneof my items wrong, i wanted 3 raw oysters not 2 but it was loud. It think they just need more servers on a busy night. Drinks, got a blue Hawaii and there was too much blue curacao, also had a Manhattan with too much vermouth and bitters. Also there was no beer or liquor menu and when asked what kind of bourbons they have we were told they have them all. I think a beer and liquor menu would be beneficial because then we would be able to try new things or see the selection that is available Overall disappointed but we will try again during not busy times and order different drinks and food. A place to try, nice to bring friends for a nice dinner. Its a new restaurant so i know they will improve.

Wonderful New find in the area! The oysters sampler features 3 different preparations and each was fantastic. Our crawfish etouffee and shrimp and grits were each spot on. Great selection of New Orleans cocktails too (though my Sazerac had too much absinthe). We will definitely be back for more!
Vincent S — Google review
A wonderful space, excellent music and an extensive bourbon and whiskey list makes this a fabulous locale in of itself. Paired with amazingly fresh local oysters and delicious Cajun fare will keep you coming back for more. The happy hour is a must if you love oysters(half price). Overall, I really enjoyed this spot and will recommend it to friends and family. I will definitely be returning.

We visited Top Hat for the first time on a recent Saturday night. The bartender greeted us because no hostess was at the door. He stated someone would be with us soon and a few minutes later we were seated at our table. The waitstaff was friendly and promptly took our drink order. The menu includes oysters prepared several different ways. We opted for the 'oyster sampler'. Good if a bit pricey. Apps, which included crab cakes and corn pudding were very good. The jambalaya included a generous amount of shrimp, sausage and chicken and was nicely seasoned but it was a bit dry. Three stars. The almond crusted salmon was cooked perfectly as was the sweet potato mash. Excellent. Five stars. Desserts were good but again somewhat pricey. The banana foster was excellent. A rich, delicious treat. The total cost for the two of us was $150 which included a few drinks. Restaurant decor was fun, busy, a bit loud at times and yet very comfortable. Overall impression: You will leave Top Hat satisfied but with no encore the next day as portions are reasonable and not overly generous. Share a dessert and limit drinks to one each and the bill will still top $100, but then again you are visiting Top Hat for the unique dining experience.
Joseph Z — Google review
This place is great! Shared the oyster sampler thing & it was excellent & really special. I had to try the etouffe which was also really awesome, & my friend's jambalaya was too! The atmosphere is lovely, & I will be back! Update: Just as good the second time, & happy hour specials at the bar are awesome! I love their incredible whiskey selection, & po' boys!

Fine dining restaurant
The Clam Bar, affectionately known as Smittys in Somers Point, is a quintessential seafood shack that offers a delightful experience for seafood lovers. With a dedicated gluten-free menu and an emphasis on their fresh catch of the day, diners can enjoy fish prepared with eight different sauces. This charming spot captures the essence of coastal dining. On the other hand, ZZ's Clam Bar presents an intimate and luxurious atmosphere reminiscent of a bygone era.
I was thrilled to see ZZ’s Clam Bar and its space reopening. The warm and welcoming atmosphere was perfect for a Friday night dinner. The attentive and courteous staff really created quite a personal experience. The top-quality food, particularly the lobster, and drinks are worth the premium price on a somewhat limited menu. But the vibe and intimacy is what makes this place special. It’s a spot I plan to return to for the experience, not just the meal.
Michael D — Google review
One of my favorite bars in NYC. Quiet, cozy, great cocktail and fresh seafood every time. However, worth all the cons..?! Not sure 🤔 Pro: - quiet & cozy - great craft cocktails with fun presentations, all tiki themed - all the items on the menu were fresh (ugh, the uni😍) and full of flavors - none of the menu items disappointed me (the caviar 😭) - tropical interior on point Con: - every time I visit, it is more difficult to get a reservation. They always seem to be booked for a private party - every item on the menu is expensive - if you’re a party of 3 or more, the place will be very crowded and uncomfortable as the place is extremely small. - menu is limited. I really go for the uni toast and the cocktails
Gloria ( — Google review
Very loud especially how small it is. It is a very lovely cocktail bar which I enjoyed but surprised it was Michelin star rated, since it really is a high end cocktail bar rather than a restaurant.

Exploring NYC and loved stopping here! such a unique place that I would never find if I wouldn’t be with a New Yorker :)
Linda K — Google review
I love ZZ's Clam Bar, a very tiny, very wonderful bar and rawbar / seafood place. Reservations are absolutely required, and the place is a total splurge. It functions like a speakeasy, and seats something like 12-16 people at tiny marble tables. It's a bit like a jewel box, and it feels like something out of a different era, underscored by their vintage barware collection. They have amazing, super crafted cocktails - some of the best - and incredible, fresh seafood. The Chianina beef carpaccio with sea urchin and caviar is absolutely and completely over the top and something I dream about.
Jennifer D — Google review
Get in there if you can book a table! What a gem! They have 4-5 tables and the menu is raw but every bit amazing! The trout roe toast tastes like a divine dish created to make people happy:):)
Sam D — Google review
Disappointed. We at at ZZ’s Friday, 10/1 (only learned it was reopening night from this post), and it was probably our worst dining experience in all of our years in NYC. To say that the menu was limited is a gross exaggeration; it consisted of toast (tuna, trout roe or uni), oysters and caviar. The service was unfriendly and slow. The drinks were too strong. The oysters were nice but the Orient Pearls did not seem fresh. A “reopening” this poorly done should have been postponed (perhaps indefinitely).

Blue Island Oysters - Corporate Office is a gem nestled near the Fire Island Inlet, where the unique water exchange between the Atlantic Ocean and Great South Bay creates an ideal environment for cultivating exquisite Blue Point oysters. These oysters are celebrated for their bright oceanic salinity, buttery texture, and clean mineral finish. Visitors rave about their experiences here, often highlighting peaceful kayak tours through scenic marshes that allow them to observe local wildlife while learning about oyster farming.
After speaking with the owners at Olishes farm I purchased 1/2 dozen oysters. They were delicious. I will purchase more in the Future.

A beautiful, idyllic, amazing day. For years I have seen this tour pop up in my instagram feed and wanted to go. I tried last summer, but it was booked. This spring, I booked us in as soon as it came up, and I am so glad we did it! From the peaceful kayak tour through marshes watching the wildlife, learning about the oyster farm, spending time on the dock in the sun soaking in the surroundings on the water, finally to tasting the freshly shucked oysters (best we have ever eaten so fresh and salty.... ) and enjoying a delicious lobster roll lunch complete with ice cream....... we didn't want to ever leave. The owners and staff were wonderful. It was truly the best experience we have done (& eaten) in years. No wonder there is a waiting list and its booked solid this summer. I would do this again in a heartbeat, and even consider booking a private session. It is worth it.
