Porto Zante Villas & Spa is a luxurious beachfront hotel offering chic dining and spa treatments. Guests can relax on the private golden sand beach or take part in activities like fitness classes, sightseeing tours, and cookery classes. The villas feature private pools with views of Kefalonia island and the Peloponnese peninsula, as well as marble-lined bathrooms with whirlpool tubs.
A tranquil and Luxurious Retreat. The setting is incredibly serene. A peaceful and relaxing experience. An ultimate escape from everyday life. Staff was attentive and courteous.

Just back from Porto Zante and honestly… wow. Eden on Earth. We totally disappeared from the world for a week. It’s a truly hidden, confidential place, and we’re so glad we found it! The villas are the most private I’ve seen in Greece : huge, uniquely designed, fitted with designer pieces and furniture, infinity pools, lush gardens… every detail thought through. We felt like in our own estate. The service is unreal, discreet but always there the second you need something, almost like they can read your mind. The food? Out of this world. Fresh seafood, elevated Greek dishes, and an incredible Japanese fusion dinner right by the sea. It has so much personality. The design and character are like no other, stunning, with patches of colors that look like art, the stonework.. You’re in Greece, so expect Mediterranean vibes, but there you get a tropical twist from the gardens and sea views. It’s the kind of ultra-luxury that’s hard to put into words. Pure magic. See you next summer !!

We are blown away by the level of service. The only do they go above and beyond while on the island and on the property but they make you feel like you are truly at home. We feel so blessed to be in such a beautiful place surrounded by genuine people. On top of it all the and the massages were incredible. Absolutely, everyone in this resort is here to make your stay incredible. They have managed to find an incredible balance between a privacy and hospitality! Hope to come back soon!

Horrible hotel with bad vibe. Weird, sneaking up on you. All they want is for you to spend money. We left early it was so bad

Staying here right now, and i can say it’s definitely the best luxury hotel in Greece. Many thanks to the lovely team !

It is a beautiful resort and we had a most enjoyable stay The staff are absolutely delightful, incredibly helpful and nothing was an issue for them. Although all the staff were amazing, I would like to point out one in particular as she was helpful beyond belief. Eirini Many thanks to you and all your colleagues. Best wishes S Hadi Attiyeh

From the moment we arrived, we felt as though we’d been welcomed into a private sanctuary. The discreet arrival, through gated entry and softly lit paths, set the tone for our entire stay—it was intimate, exclusive, and utterly serene. Our villa was an oasis of elegance—an airy expanse filled with tasteful decor, including Armani interiors, paired with Bulgari toiletries that added a touch of indulgence. Stepping into our private garden and pool overlooking the Ionian Sea, we instantly understood why this place is famed for its seclusion and beauty. What truly elevated our holiday, however, was the impeccable service from the Porto Zante team. Every single member of staff went above and beyond, combining warmth, professionalism, and genuine care in a way we have rarely experienced elsewhere. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and the seamless attention to detail made us feel not just pampered, but truly at home. Dining was an absolute highlight. The quality of the food in both restaurants was divine—whether enjoying refined Mediterranean dishes at the Club House or indulging in exquisite Asian-fusion creations. Each meal was a fantastic experience, beautifully presented and bursting with flavour, accompanied by attentive service that made dining a joy in itself. The Spa is wonderfully intimate and enjoys a gorgeous view of the sea. It was fantastic to relax there with the sound of the waves gently making their way onto the beach, adding a natural rhythm to every treatment. It offered a sense of tranquillity and wellbeing that was truly unforgettable. We also deeply appreciated the eco-conscious efforts—from reducing plastic use to sourcing local produce. In short, Porto Zante is a rare blend of luxury, discretion, divine gastronomy, and heartfelt hospitality—perfect for family holidays, romantic escapes, or anyone seeking something extraordinary. Our August stay was nothing short of outstanding, and we look forward to returning.

This is an amazing little resort hidden on a beautiful beach area of Zakintos island. The staff is extremely kind, the service is great and the cuisine unforgettable. Our villa was located just a few steps from the water's edge!! The world luxury is not enough for this place. I have stayed to some of the world's top hotels and villas but this was a memorable experience.

Water & Amusement Parks

The park features numerous waterslides, pools, play areas, and concessions. It is suitable for young children and also offers attractions like the 3 octopus slides, Slippery Rabbit, Boomer Bowl, Lazy River, and the thrilling Black Hole ride. Visitors can enjoy well-maintained facilities with clean toilets and plenty of shaded seating areas.
Super place for all kids-younger and older. Many slides , wave pool and lazy river. There is snack area where you can buy some food. Plenty of pool loungers. For hotel guests with all inclusive is for free, for guests from outside paid.
Sylwia K — Google review
My boyfriend and I went here on Saturday 10th May after realising zante water village was closed until late May. However it did not disappoint! Although most reviews say it’s mostly for children, and there aren’t many rides - us 2 adults had a fantastic time! Tickets are bought on the door and come with a free snack (we chose a slice of pizza which was so lovely). And there are more than enough rides to have fun! There is a timetable of when specific rides are on and off (I assume due to staffing / safety issues). We went on all of them multiple times!!There was also a fantastic wave pool (staff announce when it’s on), played volleyball and so much choice for sunbeds. The cocktail/ drinks bar is extremely reasonably priced. The pina colada was great!! We spent nearly the entire day there (10:45-4pm). There is also great children’s and adult entertainment (including water Zumba, darts, arcade etc) Definitely recommend for a fun day out. Although a lot smaller than the Zante Water village, it was still a great day and fun rides (and not too busy)
Leah N — Google review
Great water park with a good selection of slides, plenty of inflatables for all. A lazy river that goes around the outside of the splash park and a larger pool area and pool bar. Great day out. Was half price after 14:30 hrs.
Wayne T — Google review
Lots of fun but close to the end of season so slides were set to limited times. In the peak season I would imagine it would be great still has lots of fun
Derie A — Google review
Well staffed, well maintained, kids entertainment dances in the pool, reasonable food, fair prices. Free burger/sandwich with entry price. Excellent day away from the villa.
Carl S — Google review
Great water park! Not too busy, and the discounted entry after 2:30 makes it excellent value. Plenty of time to enjoy all the slides several times.
Richard N — Google review
We loved it here. We got here about 10.30 so paid full price but I think it is worth it as we stayed til 5pm and the entrance fee for the full day includes your meal . Choose from toasties/chips/hot dogs/burgers etc. There's also a restaurant inside. A fish spa is near the entrance but that costs extra. There's a wave pool, loads of kids slides and a splash park and 6 or 7 other slides. Good day out!
Kelly W — Google review
Had a fabulous time at the water park. Not all the slides were open at the same time due to staffing but every 1.5hrs they rotated which ones were open so we got a chance to try them all. The water is cold but once you're in it's OK. The swimming pool does not have a shallow end so bring arm bands/floatation aids for non swimmers. My son is 125cm so there were three slides he couldn't try but he still had a great time. Food and drink is OK at the snack bar. A good selection reasonably priced. We went a few times during our stay. Sunday was very busy (lots of locals aswell as tourists) Wednesday was very quiet. Hardly had to queue.

Hotel
Nestled on the beautiful Greek island of Zakynthos, also known as Zante, Lesante Classic Luxury Hotel & Spa offers a luxurious retreat with refined accommodations and stunning sea views. This upscale hotel boasts an array of amenities including pools, a spa, dining options, and bars. The elegantly designed rooms provide modern comforts while the spa offers a range of rejuvenating treatments such as massages and facials.
We had such an amazing 6 day stay at Lesante Classic Hotel & Spa, it absolutely lives up to its 5-star rating. The facilities are spotless, modern, and luxurious, and the staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Special mention to Maria and Ilia at the front desk, who were incredibly helpful and kind throughout our stay! The hotel is in a peaceful spot, just a 5-minute walk to the beach and around 10 minutes to the local town, which was super convenient for short strolls. That said, the location itself isn’t central as most things are about 30+ minutes away, so taxis can get really pricey. But if you’re planning to relax by the pool, enjoy the spa, and spend time at the beach, this place is absolutely perfect. The only small downside was the breakfast selection, which could be improved with a bit more variety. But the young man cooking the eggs fresh every morning was so friendly and accommodating to my halal needs which was a lovely start to each day. Honestly, we couldn’t have asked for anything more. The hotel and staff made the trip for us. If you’re looking for a calm, luxury retreat where everything you need is right on-site, this is the one. A perfect stay in a perfect hotel.
Saniyah — Google review
A lovely hotel with fabulous food and wonderful staff. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. We really felt welcome. The rooms are generous and comfortable with lovely shower room. Bed and pillows really comfy. Two nice pools, although the sunbeds and pool area is a bit too open for me but many people enjoyed this space. The restaurant staff operated like a well oiled machine. At the busiest times, it was amazing to see how well they coped and still made time to smile and be helpful.
Julie G — Google review
What a lovely place to stay! We would highly recommend this hotel. The staff are absolutely wonderful here, very attentive and helpful. The whole place is child friendly, however there is a really nice adults only pool and sun lounger on the other side. The food is delicious and one of my favourite foods I’ve ever eaten. The location is perfect, 3 minutes to a local beach, approximately 8 minute walk to the town/shops/restaurants/bars. We would happily stay here again
Mev V — Google review
Nice but small hotel which is a little walk away from the beach. While the rooms were nice and freshly renovated in 2025, the hotel is nice but quite overpriced. Service was great, except for one of the front desk ladies which is still to master the customer centered mindset - however, we had too much interaction with her. The pool is nice, so is the bar and the food at the restaurant. But then again - too overpriced for the quality offered. Overall a nice small hotel with no views and a little - not very scenic walk away from the beach - a four star classification I would say.
Diana T — Google review
This hotel was thoroughly amazing in so many ways!!! I have never seen spaces so clean, been around staff so friendly and helpful (thanks Aida, among others!), and enjoyed such ease throughout my vacation. I would 100% come back. The space is gorgeous. The spa is fabulous and the workers are both sweet and talented. A few notes that warranted that 4 star rating: 1) the pool is fully closed at 7 om, which is really early, 2) the gym is small and poorly ventilated, and 3) the extraneous charges felt rather excessive. For example, having every drop of drinking water be charged at such a premium, when drinking from the tap is not recommended on the island (and you already pay handsomely for everything else) felt like a step too far. Eating at the hotel was also quite expensive (one night, we ran into a fresh fish for almost 70 euro for one person!). Again, would still return and had the time of my life. Just be mindful and take some steps to help yourself along :)
Michelle C — Google review
We stayed for 7 Days, 7 Nights in a Suite – Mixed Experience. 🛏️ Room Quality: The suite itself had clearly been recently renovated—modern, spacious, and clean. The room offered a comfortable, relaxing space to unwind. 🌟 Room Service: The food served via room service was significantly better—both in taste and presentation—than what was offered at the breakfast buffet and dinner menu (half-board booking). The room service staff were also noticeably more friendly and attentive. 👎 Breakfast: While we appreciated the staff's efficiency, it lacked finesse. Tables were cleared abruptly—even mid-conversation—with arms reaching across our faces, disrupting the atmosphere. The loud clatter of plates and cutlery being stacked nearby made it difficult to enjoy a peaceful meal. In fact, it gave us headaches and led us to cut our breakfasts short. We often saw staff scraping leftover food onto a pile near us, which felt inappropriate for a supposed 5-star setting. ⏰ Check-Out Experience: Check-out time was listed as 11:00, but: At 10:30, a cleaning staff member knocked on our door. At 10:50, we received a call from the receptionist, which felt like a nudge to hurry up and vacate the room. 🚗 Other Notes: There was no valet service to help with parking or manoeuvring the car. The concierge was not consistently available at the hotel entrance. 🏁 Conclusion: While parts of our stay were enjoyable, especially the in-room service, the overall experience didn’t match 5-star standards. Based on our global travel experiences, this hotel aligns more closely with a 3-star rating.
Isabella A — Google review
We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Lesante Classic Hotel! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and relaxed. The rooms were immaculate, elegantly furnished, and very comfortable, a perfect retreat after a day in the sun. The food was outstanding, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options. The pool area was stunning, and the service was top-notch Everything felt luxurious. If I had one (small) gripe, it would be the all-too-common issue of guests reserving sun loungers with towels early in the morning. It didn’t ruin our experience at all, but it would be great to see this managed a bit more actively by the hotel. Overall, Lesante Classic exceeded our expectations, a truly memorable experience and a place we’d return to in a heartbeat!
Alexander — Google review
Staff at reception are excellent and will go over and beyond for you, Maria was a great example and that is why I rate it 4 instead of 3 stars. But this hotel is clearly a 4 star hotel, not close to 5 star. If you have any experience at 5 star hotels, anywhere globally, then it is no question that this is not close. The pool, location and all the little details are moderate at best, especially breakfast food and service is sub par (relative to 5 star). The beach is walking distance, but it is not elegant, especially compared to what you can access on the island. The sister hotel Lesante Cape is a 5 star hotel. The cheap price of Lesante classic is a reflection of the description above so perhaps I should have known better when booking - I take the blame, but I just don’t understand why they claim it is a 5 star hotel on Google maps. But just to clarify, the staff at reception are fantastic.

Located at Cape Skinari on the northern tip of Zakynthos, the Blue Caves are a stunning natural wonder. The caves feature bright blue waters that reflect the sky's color, creating an enchanting azure and sapphire light inside. Visitors can explore these large geologic arch formations and hidden caves by boat, departing from Agios Nikolaos or as part of a round-the-island cruise from Zakynthos Town. The largest cave, Kianoun, is a popular spot for exploration.
Superb caves with amazing turquoise - blue waters in all shades and colors. It can get a bit busy with boats coming to the same spot around the same time. There is also a swimming point very close to the caves that is perfect for snorkeling (many fishes there)
Ana-Maria A — Google review
Absolutely gorgeous place to swim from ,once boats have left, although I can imagine it being very busy in peak season.there is a makeshift board to dive into the crystal clear waters where we watched a pod of dolphins fishing. There are a fair amount of steps to traverse, so only go if you're able bodied. At the top there are 2 large carparks and eating places.
Isobella H — Google review
One of the best spots on the island, when the sun enters the caves, a very unique effect is visible, the water inside the caves hits the rocks and turns into ice blue before splashing back. This effect is only reserved for your own eyes, cameras are unable to capture it. 100% worth a visit!
Diederik D — Google review
One of the nicest spots in Zante, visited from the windmill stair that goes down directly to the sea. Can be crowded and filled with boats depending on the day/time, better be there early in the morning.
Matteo G — Google review
Good place to visit on a boat but book your own as I personally didn't like how they all put the boats round a turtle for an hour so you could see it.

The site is quite popular, but there are always quieter corners to enjoy the scenery. Not to be missed during a stay in Zakynthos; it's one of the most beautiful discoveries we made on the island. Hotel
Caretta Paradise Resort & WaterPark is a family-friendly hotel with simple rooms, a restaurant, and a bar. It's conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from the beach and features its own waterpark and splash park with various attractions for kids. The resort offers swim-up apartments and plenty of amenities for families, including snack bars, pool activities, and a mini disco. While the location may require a car to access, the all-inclusive package provides good food options that change daily.
Fabulous place to take children. Waterparks are great and different ones for different ages. Food was very good with something for everyone. Rooms were good as well.
June W — Google review
The bad: 1. The door to the bathroom are glass and have a gap around them. Zero privacy when using the toilet. 2. There is only one AC unit in the master bedroom - so you have to run it all the time and keep the bedroom very cold so it spreads to the rest of the room. Can't close your bedroom door either or the rest of the room becomes too hot, so again no privacy. 3. The AC outdoor unit sits on the floor of the balcony blowing hot air at you when you sit there. It becomes a hotbox rather quickly. 4. The wall between master bedroom and kids bedroom has two big windows. They are frosted glass but again... they could at least be higher up. 4. The walls are paper thin. We were treated to a snoring opera of our neighbour every night. 5. The food in the restaurants is bland or over-seasoned, boring and same. Breakfast is exactly the same every day. 6. There is not enough swimming pools for all guests. Better get a room with a dedicated swimming pool. 7. The beach is very small, literally your head is touching the wall and your feet are in the water. The good: 1. It's very clean. 2. Most buildings and equipment are in good repair. 3. The reservation only restaurants serve really good food. 4. There's a bus stop right in front of the hotel. 5. I like the minimalistic design of the buildings.

Went for family holiday, rooms are small luckily got ground floor room so had access to swimming pool. Food is very low quality, thats the reason i wont take back my family there. Albanian team are great, such a sweet ppl , only because of them i dont give 1star. The idea and space of the resort are amazing but loosing a lot on quality of food. Wont recommend to anyone.

Was here on a family trip in October. Would say that all in all it is a great hotel. Great facility for kids with pools and activities. But the wasps…… omg tha wasps… I don’t understand they don’t put up traps or at least try to spray… it is impossible to eat outside without being surrounded by wasps… do not go to this hotel if you want a big white beach. It is a very very small beach. And be aware that there’s no locks on any of the bathroom doors which is glass
Frederikke — Google review
This hotel could be perfect, location is pretty good the facilities there are great, but the food is shocking luckily, Noka (a restaurant) is next door and serves really good food, at a decent price, luckily as after the 3rd day we are there all the time due to starving and feeling depressed at the thought of that same menu again, if you like pork roll pasta and chips your in for a treat as this is served everyday for dinner and tea, and a selection of fish, nothing really child friendly, apart from at the snack bar food there is also extremely bad, stale, cold and tasteless, when a family of 6 and only 1 of us finds something to eat other than chips it's a pretty bad do, staff don't really interact and the lady serving ice creams looks at you like you just stole her last tenner when you date to ask for an all inclusive ice cream,
Daniel M — Google review
The hotel is lovely and well kept & clean. It seems to of been done up which was nice as it’s very pretty. Rooms are gorgeous and clean only issue is ants. The location does not have much around. Food was not good, but rice & spice was a lovely restaurant we enjoyed there numerous nights. Service is probably thing letting the hotel down, very rude and impatient staff. I had an incident within the burger house where me and my family was the last within the restaurant as it was closing after breakfast so we left and they shut the restaurant. I had realised I left my very expensive designer glasses there and went straight back. Was abruptly told “no” by the woman on the desk when asking if they had been handed in. Her and a waiter just stood and stared me down till I left, no help no information nothing. Without accusations, there was no other family nor people within the restaurant when I had left the glasses, so iv been left thinking one of the staff had taken them due to them being expensive and a well known designer. Was just a very weird scenario how offended and rude the woman within the desk of the burger house acted just from me asking had she seen them. Not polite nor friendly. Would of returned but after this incident never would! Apart from that reception staff very lovely and welcoming and helpful. Pools are fab and the hotel itself was gorgeous.

Lovely hotel. Amazing facilities and brilliant for kids. Weathers perfect. Clean. Great family rooms. Food is awful. That’s the only thing that lets it down. Eat out. Plenty of places nearby. Beware if you’re ordering at the A la carte!! They bring all 3 courses at once. Order one thing at a time.

I would strongly advise anyone not to book this hotel, especially if you’re expecting the quality and comfort promised by TUI or the four-star rating. What was meant to be a relaxing holiday turned into an extremely stressful, unhygienic, and upsetting experience. When we first arrived, the reception staff were rude and unhelpful, simply telling us to “download the app” with no guidance or patience. Their attitude immediately set the tone for what became a week of constant problems. Our room description was completely misleading it was advertised as having a “pool view, private pool and terrace.” In reality, the “pool view” meant a view of the private pool itself, not the main pool as implied. I paid an additional £377 upgrade for the private pool, which was covered in bugs and crickets, with a broken filter that left the water stagnant and dirty. Despite reporting this multiple times, nothing was done until I escalated it through TUI. We were eventually moved to another room, but things only got worse. The new room had black mould all over the wall, which caused me to develop a bad cough and chest irritation. When I reported this, the hotel simply sent a cleaner to wipe it off rather than properly dealing with the source of the mould. No apology, no relocation, and no concern for guest health whatsoever. It was also impossible to eat or drink outside due to a major wasp infestation, making the all-inclusive package completely pointless. The food was cold every single time, the drinks were watered down, and there was no drinking water available anywhere. To make matters even worse, the “cleaning” service disturbed an ant nest hidden inside the mouldy wall, which led to a full infestation. I woke up covered in painful ant bites all over my legs, and there were hundreds of ants crawling across the bed, the floor, and even inside my toothbrush holder. It was disgusting and completely unacceptable. I still have marks on my skin from the bites. This hotel has no indoor facilities, no gym, no proper entertainment, and definitely no standards of cleanliness or care for guests. I’ve stayed in many resorts, and I can honestly say this was the worst holiday I have ever experienced. I left feeling anxious, unwell, and completely disappointed. TUI should not be selling this hotel. Please think twice before booking – it’s not worth your money, your health, or your peace of mind.

Located in Tragaki, just 1.7 km from Gaidaros Beach, Atlantica Eleon Grand Resort is a modern all-inclusive hotel with simple yet comfortable rooms. The resort offers a range of amenities including a kids' club, sports facilities, and two large swimming pools - one with waterslides and a shallow splash area.
Nice spacious modern rooms. The staff was super friendly, especially Nikos in the restaurant and Bianca waiter by the pool area! Variety of activities everyday. The restaurant served good food with a lot of options everyday. Nice little shop next to the hotel with normal prices. Gym ok with equipment although it could be updated. The pool areas were super. The hotel is located right at a little beach.

Overall really happy with the hotel. We had a large group of adults and kids booked in different rooms to celebrate our wedding. Everyone spoke about how kind the staff were! So friendly. The food was good! It’s all inclusive food, so some stuff is mediocre but I always found something delicious at breakfast lunch and dinner. The pools are lovely. The views are gorgeous. The entertainment was fun. Having the pool and the beach is nice. Some of the beach is rocky but if you go in by the waterslides is actually nicer.

The resort is spotless and perfectly maintained. The rooms are fantastic, spacious, equipped with everything you might need, and always impeccably clean. Special kudos for the amazing water pressure in the shower – flawless! The buffet restaurant is excellent, offering a wide variety of dishes every day, with different options every evening to suit all tastes and dietary needs. Despite being a buffet, the food quality is great, and after 8 days we never had any stomach issues – quite the opposite, everything was fresh and delicious. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were always complete and satisfying. What truly makes this place special is the staff: everyone is incredibly kind, attentive, and always smiling. From the buffet and à la carte restaurant teams to the bartenders and waiters at the bars, everyone goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The housekeeping staff also deserves a big compliment – always polite, helpful, and super cheerful every single day. And finally, a huge thank you to the entertainment team, who really made the difference for us. They made us feel at home and kept us smiling and having fun as if we were among friends. William, Emma, and Pelo were amazing, creating magical moments for both adults and kids – we would honestly come back just for them! Highly recommended for anyone looking for relaxation, great quality, and a truly special atmosphere.

Fantastic service, staff are incredibly helpful. The hotel and resort are perfect for a family holiday, lots of activities for children. Location is great, beautiful sea views and a lovely little beach. There is a bus stop at the end of the road should you want a trip into town.

Lovely hotel food good staff are very helpful Entertainment is the worst I have experienced and this is supposed to be a 5 star Day time entertainment is better than on an evening having to go to my room at 10.30pm not good when on holiday. Childrens disco is shocking again worst I've come across. The best is the saxophone guy who plays round the pool is fantastic If there was somewhere to go on an evening I would be out But the there isn't its bit secluded. For a 5 star and the money you pay they should be getting entertainment in not getting the entertainment team which they do try. There is nothing for the kids to do on an evening the park has 2 swings stuck out of the way very poor Would I come here again sorry No I wouldn't

Even better the second time ✨ This is my second stay at Atlantica Eleon this year and, somehow, it’s been even better than the first. Everything that impressed me the first time remains unchanged: the quality of the food, the natural beauty of the setting, and the warmth of the staff. What’s remarkable, though, is that even in the heart of August (one of the busiest times of the year) the hotel continues to deliver a calm, high-quality experience without missing a beat. The atmosphere is as serene and well-cared-for as ever, and every detail still feels intentional. It’s clear that consistency and genuine hospitality are part of the resort’s DNA. I’ve rarely seen a place maintain such high standards with such ease and, more importantly, joy. Looking forward to the next time already. Thank you, everyone!

Had an amazing holiday. The rooms in the hotel are the best ones. Pool is amazing great food and the sea by the slides was amazing that side is not rocks. Perfect for kids would love to go back
Hannah W — Google review
We had a lovely stay at this hotel. Rooms were nicely decorated, balcony was bit and we got a lovely sea view towards the morning sun. All inclusive food and drinks were good - nice selection and variation. Wine was good (not excellent though). Pools were great, lots of entertainment going on (we didn't participate though). It's by the sea - a bit rocky so swimming shoes make it easier to get into the water and back. There is a spa (a bit pricey in my opinion). You can eat at the two a la carte restaurants once for free during a one week stay - I enjoyed both. Pool towels can be exchanged three times during the week. There is a bus stop going to Zakyntos town close to the hotel. We opted to order a taxi - 20€ to get there. I liked the remote location but it makes it difficult to get to places. Service was excellent - I recommend 😍

Domes Aulus Zante, Autograph Collection is a casual yet sophisticated 5-star resort located on the beautiful Laganas Bay. The hotel offers spacious rooms and suites with private terraces, outstanding gastronomy, and a long sandy beach. It promises an unparalleled sense of class, comfort, and coolness to the coasts of Zante. The resort is conveniently located just a short drive from the airport and Zante Town.
Our stay at Domes was lovely. We stayed for 10 days in a sapphire sea view room which was spacious, clean and had an incredible view. We paid to upgrade the room to a sea view which I would definitely recommend (we were at the beach front). The food at the hotel was outstanding with the buffet being different each night and the restaurants being high quality food with great menus. The all inclusive options were great, the cocktails were fantastic and there was food available from different places pretty much all day. There were lots of places to sit, and one pool but it is right on the beach. The staff are all really nice especially the ones as you enter the hotel in the reception area - special shout-out to Andreas who was super helpful and attentive throughout our stay, he arranged a boat trip and car rental, as well as recommending which places to visit on the island. He also helped my partner surprise me for my birthday with flowers and cake in the room!

We had an unforgettable stay at Domes Aulus Zante – truly one of the most well-organized and refined resorts in Zakynthos. The quality of the services is exceptional – from the quick and seamless check-in to every small detail that made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Everything runs smoothly, and the staff is always attentive, discreet, and highly professional, ready to anticipate or fulfill any request we had. The food is another highlight: the buffet is generous, with fresh and varied options, while the à la carte restaurants offer a truly elevated culinary experience. Every dish is prepared with high-quality ingredients and beautifully presented, reflecting a deep respect for gastronomy. A standout aspect is the attitude of the staff – warm, friendly, and genuinely focused on guest satisfaction. Whether it was a simple question, a special room request, or recommendations for activities, the team responded promptly and always with a smile. I wholeheartedly recommend Domes Aulus Zante to anyone looking for a relaxing, elegant, and worry-free holiday experience.

**5 Stars – A Perfect Stay with Just One Tiny Snag** We recently spent 7 nights at Domus Aulus Resort and had an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and professional, the grounds were beautiful, and the attention to detail throughout the resort was exceptional. Our room was spacious, tastefully designed, and very comfortable throughout our stay. The amenities across the property made it easy to relax and unwind, and there was always something to do or explore. Whether lounging by the pool, enjoying the spa, or simply taking in the stunning views, every moment felt like a true escape. The only small issue we encountered was with the restaurant booking system. With several dining options on-site, we were excited to try them all, but unfortunately, the reservation process made it difficult to experience each one during our stay. A bit more flexibility or availability would have made the culinary experience as perfect as the rest of the resort. That said, the food we *did* manage to enjoy was excellent — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Overall, Domus Aulus Resort exceeded our expectations and left us with unforgettable memories. We’d happily return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing getaway.

This is meant to be a 5 star resort but I wouldn't say it is. It's 3 star. We arrived at the hotel to be told we had received a complimentary room upgrade. Due to the hotel overbooking sea rooms. The picture of the apartment block was our upgraded room view. I then complained on the first evening and the following morning to be told we would be moving rooms to a room we had paid for which is the pic of the sea and pool. That lost us our first full day waiting to unpack in our new room. We then had issues with the shower in the new room. For the entire week the water pressure was poor and you were lucky if the shower provided any hot water. The lifts didn't work for two days also. The positives are the customer facing staff are great, the food was excellent all week and the cleanliness of the room was good, but the issues had a big negative impact on our holiday and we definitely won't be going back.

We had an incredible time at Domes Aulus. The standout was the service and the location. On the service front, Andreas from customer relations was a hero. He took great care of us and will be one of the reasons we come back. On the location front, it can’t be beat. Right on the beach and walking distance to an active nightlife scene it was perfect. We were there for 10 days and felt we could have easily stayed another 10. Would recommend booking restaurant meals and other activities right when you check in as they do book up.

I cannot rate Domes Aulus highly enough. This was a special family holiday and we were not disappointed. Everything was perfect, from our welcome when we arrived, our rooms, food, location and staff. The staff in particular were extremely friendly and helpful, and Christos was so helpful with his local knowledge with booking our trips and activities. Thank you everyone.

Aqua Bay Hotel is a relaxed accommodation in the Planos area, close to Tsilivi. The hotel offers various pools for an exclusive experience and features a water park, two restaurants, and two bars as part of its all-inclusive package. Guests can enjoy clean rooms with pool access, attentive staff, and daily towel service. The on-site water park is well-maintained with considerate staff who respect the local wildlife.
We’ve just returned from a 2 week stay at Aqua Bay with 3 children (under 6) and we honestly can’t recommend Aqua Bay enough and we will definitely be visiting again in the future. The staff at the hotel are absolutely incredible and so accommodating for every need, no matter how big or small… The food was fantastic with so much choice at the buffet, and having access to the snack bar at the water park throughout the day was a bonus too. The BBQ buffet was great too, as well as the Elia restaurant, so there was always plenty of choice to suit all! Of course, having 3 young children, the water park was just perfect, alongside multiple swimming pools at the hotel, we were spoilt for choice and it was impossible to get bored. Thank you for such a wonderful holiday!!

A great place for families with children. The food is excellent, and picky eaters will also find something to enjoy. It's a quiet place with several pools, which is exactly what we were looking for. Friendly service. Fair drinks. The room was spacious, but unfortunately, the bathroom was below our expectations

We stayed at Aqua Bay and had an amazing experience from start to finish! The accommodation was modern, clean, and very comfortable. Spacious rooms with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The grounds are well maintained with several pools, so there’s always a quiet spot to unwind. The food was excellent – varied, fresh, and always plentiful. From fresh fruit and salads to local dishes and international favorites, there was something for everyone. Even the kids had plenty of tasty options. The staff truly made the difference: friendly, helpful, and always smiling. You feel genuinely welcomed and well looked after throughout your stay. Aqua Bay is a perfect choice for anyone looking for a stress-free, all-inclusive holiday with top service. We’ll definitely be coming back! 🌴☀️🍹

We spent a week in Aqua Bay in late August and it was a great holiday. Hotel is very clean, sunbeds at the pool very comfortable. Rooms bit small and tight for the family of 4 but we only slept there so all right. All inclusive to the highest standard. Really recommend for the stay in Zakynthos!!

Excellent hotel and ideal for families. Recommend ground floor rooms as a pool is just outside your door. Access to waterpark next door is a bonus. Good food and decent AI drink selection.

Holidayed at this hotel. It was nice, we were told it was 5 star, no chance, maybe 4 star at a push, but closer to 3 star. Staff were nice. Pools were ok. Access to watermark next door was good, but the Waterpark is not the greatest. Food was good overall. Staff were slow to bring items like drinks, as you couldn't really get your own, there was a couple of machines, but the hot drink one didn't really work often. Staff were friendly, if a little too quick to clear the table. Entertainment was pretty average. Room was ok, cleaned everyday, no TV remote, took reporting to reception 4 time to get one. Fridge in room was good, and useful. Also a kettle. Overall a nice enough place, any staff we spoke to were friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed our time there.
Craig R — Google review
No entertainment at night!! Great hotel with Waterpark. Good for kids up to 10, 12 yrs. I came with my 15yr old and she's just a bit to old for this. Staff is really friendly. Rooms are good. Food is bad and goes from bad to worst. Example: Prawns smelled bad and were not properly cleaned. Waffles were made with milk that had gone sour. The drinks in the all in formula hardly contain any alcohol. The ones that do are very high priced! This is outrageous since I already paid 6200eur just to get here! Hotel pools are cleaned everyday! But:Breakfast is only 8 until 10. So not much time! It is supposed to be about 400m from the beach, but if you follow the signs you end up at a construction yard. With some effort you can reach the water but it is a wall with a few meters of rocks, hardly a beach. I don't get that. A car is highly recommended on this island. I'm not coming back here.
Nr1from1978 — Google review
ISSUE: this is an issue with random people coming in to the hotel and getting free food and drinks when they visit the waterpark there is no security or any gates stopping anyone who has not paid coming in this needs to be fixed ASAP I can spot this quite easily when I see people without a wristband. Many people have paid well over £7000. Rooms = okay but small Service = At the bar you need to pay for a lot of drinks even tho you paid 6,500+ for this Location = Not Pinterest 20 minutes to the big beach and the big beach is just full of Sunbeds. town is about 25 minutes away

Well renovated. Great staff. Managed my group of 28 very professionally. Rented rooms for a birthday and had many day trips based from their lobby haha. Planned a 40 person dinner on their beautiful terrace in the Solomon’s square. Was super nice with good service.

My recent stay at the Nikon Boutique Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the staff greeted me with warm smiles and a genuine eagerness to assist, setting the tone for a wonderful visit. The lobby was elegantly appointed, blending modern aesthetics with classic comforts. It was clear that every detail was meticulously curated to create an inviting atmosphere. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, which I appreciated after a long day of travel. My room was a delightful surprise. Spacious and impeccably clean, it boasted a comfortable bed.

The room is a little bit small but it’s really well located and you will find a lot of lovely restaurants and shops next to you!! The cleaning service is not great as they just do the bed and they don’t even hover the room! The breakfast is good but there is not a lot of variety as a lot of the hot food is pork based!! But I recommend this hotel if you are visiting zante for the first time!! The location is perfect to go everywhere!!

The central location drew us to this hotel and it really was in the middle of all the action. Staff is friendly and helped as needed. Rooms are adequate and extremely clean. The breakfast buffet (included with our room) offered lots of variety. There is limited parking for hotel guests; however, parking is available within the surrounding area. Great access to restaurants and cafes as well as the waterfront. Would highly recommend a sea-view room to really enjoy the location of this hotel.

Awful service. We trusted this venue for a family wedding and they massively let us down. Promised they would be accommodating and on the wedding day wouldn’t allow drinks to the room. DO NOT BOOK! Promises are always broken. Even when staying in the hotel they still charge €25 for sun loungers!

We had a wonderful stay at Sunrise Zante! The hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and absolutely worth the price. What really made our experience special was the team. The manager, Spiros, went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome and taken care of throughout our stay. If you’re looking for a place with great service, warm hospitality, and good value in Zakynthos, I highly recommend this hotel. We would definitely stay here again!

We had such a wonderful stay at the Sunrise Hotel. First of all – everything was super clean, which we really appreciated. The pool was always perfect, and such a lovely place to relax. Also, the gentleman by the pool who handed out the mats was so kind and helpful every single day. But what really made our stay special were Anna and Christina at the pool bar and restaurant. I honestly don’t even have the words – they took care of us in such a warm, loving, almost “mama-like” way. It felt like being with family. They were always smiling, thoughtful, and so, so kind. Saying goodbye to them was really hard – they truly touched our hearts. 💕 The food was also amazing – we enjoyed every meal. And there was another gentleman who served us (unfortunately we forgot his name), and he was just as lovely – so warm and sweet. Everyone at the hotel was just incredibly nice. We felt so welcome and taken care of. We would come back anytime – but only if Anna and Christina are still there at the pool bar/restaurant. Without them, it just wouldn’t be the same. 🤭 Thank you for such a beautiful and unforgettable time! 💙
Angela E — Google review
I wanted to give 4 stars, but for the nice staff I will give 5. Cons The rooms are decent overall, but the beds are definitely a downside – they’re not single beds, they squeak, and move around way too much, which can get annoying when you’re trying to rest. Other than that, the room is fine, nothing out of the ordinary. Another drawback is the Wi-Fi connection: it’s quite weak and only really works properly near the pool or the restaurant. In the rooms, the signal is very poor, almost unusable, which makes it impossible to work or do anything that requires stable internet. It would really help if coverage was improved across the entire hotel area. Pros Breakfast was included, and I have to say it was plentiful and offered a wide variety of options for everyone. The lady in charge of breakfast was absolutely wonderful – kind, sociable, and very attentive, she really made mornings feel special. The lady at the bar was just as friendly and cheerful, which created a warm and welcoming vibe. Overall, the entire staff deserves the highest praise – always smiling, helpful, and communicative, they truly make sure you don’t have to worry about a thing during your vacation. For the staff, I’d give 5 stars without hesitation.

Incredible holiday. Superb hotel and staff. We stayed in room 108 which had its own mini pool, room was spotlessly clean and well equipped. For this particular room an espresso machine with pods replaced daily, sun bed towels, bath robes and slippers were standard. Also, aircon was standard and key for safe at no extra charge. Breakfast buffet catered for all tastes, with chefs available to cook egg dishes fresh to order. Hotel is on the outskirts of Tsilivi meaning it was quieter than other hotels. Staff were amazing especially Anna, the housekeeping team and the gentleman around the pool who helped the housekeeping staff and provided the cushions for the sun beds...of which there were always plenty available. Recommendations for food....The Mulbery tree, The Balcony for a treat although book at sunset so you can watch this while you eat. and definitely Valentinos castle, fantastic family restaurant close to the hotel. Drinks......Traffic bar and Sandra's bar both friendly and great service. Horse and carriage ride from centre of town, around the outskirts and back to hotel cost 20 euros. Mini train 7 euros which takes you into Zante town. Bus to Zante town around 2-3 euros. Transport.....hotel provided transfers from and to airport for a reasonable price. This was arranged in advance. Hotel also offers free transport to the beach 3 x a day. Convenient supermarket just down the road. Adult only hotel. Highly recommend, will be booking with them to return next year

A wonderful stay at the Olea All Hotel, one we will never forget… First of all, a huge thank you to Maria, who made our stay absolutely amazing. She is a remarkable person : very professional, so kind, always smiling, attentive, and ready to help at any moment.. She gave us excellent advice to explore the island and was an invaluable help throughout our stay. She truly reflects the quality of the hotel: amazing. We were upgraded to a beautiful suite upon arrival, which was a fantastic surprise. We appreciated every detail of the hotel; everything is meticulously designed. The staff are very friendly, making the stay even more enjoyable. I honestly don’t know what else to say except that I highly recommend staying here. You won’t regret spending the money — it will be memories of an incredible experience. Thank you to the entire hotel team, and especially to Maria. We will never forget you and we are already looking forward to coming back. Mr and Mrs Martinez

In photos, the property looks aesthetically stunning, with beautiful architecture and interior design. The views from the rooms are stunning, and the overall atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. That said, a few noticeable drawbacks point to the poor build quality of the property. Much of the furniture appears designed with ergonomics in mind but lacks comfort. The shower taps feel flimsy, and for the price being charged, you’d expect them to be spotless and free of limescale. The layout choice of having the sink visible from the bed is unusual and not very practical. The sink area itself also offers limited space to place toiletries, which makes it less functional than expected at this level. Check-in took more than 10 minutes, though management responded quickly and followed up on the issue. Aside from these aspects, everything else was excellent—the staff were attentive, the breakfast and food were delicious, and the cocktails were fantastic. Overall: While the service, dining, views, and tranquil atmosphere were all outstanding, the issues with build quality and design choices do not fully reflect the level of luxury expected at this price point.

Olea All Suite is set in a beautiful location with breathtaking views and an incredible outdoor area — that’s without a doubt its best feature. The scenery is stunning, and the design concept has potential, but the actual experience fell far below expectations. The rooms were disappointing and poorly maintained. The bathroom walls were made of cheap-looking gypsum board, and several areas were dirty — nothing like the polished photos shown online. For a property that advertises itself as 5-star, the quality and upkeep were simply not there. I’ve stayed in many 5-star hotels before, and I’ve never seen this level of neglect or inconsistency. Service was also a major letdown. The staff at breakfast were surprisingly rude and at times completely ignored us, which really affected the overall experience. The one person who stood out in a positive way was Mariah at the reception — she was lovely, welcoming, and genuinely cared about making a good impression. Despite the amazing view and outdoor setting, I wouldn’t go back. The stay didn’t feel like 5-star service at all, and it honestly isn’t worth the price — not for the room, and not for the service.

We recently stayed for 6 nights at this wonderful hotel. The rooms, decor, ambiance, and the food was excellent on all levels. Thank you especially to the wonderful staff for their friendliness and hospitality. We particularly enjoyed our daily conversations at reception or at breakfast and dinner with Georgia, Maria Sofia, Irene, and Stavros. Thank you also to Michael who created some fantastic drinks and cocktails. The staff really make this a gem of a hotel!

Our stay at Olea Suites in Zakynthos was absolutely exceptional. From the very beginning we felt truly taken care of - we were warmly welcomed by Mrs. Maria, who made sure that the check-in process was smooth and comfortable. The staff even surprised us with non-alcoholic champagne, which was a wonderful and thoughtful gesture for my pregnant partner. The standard of the rooms is without a doubt five-star - spacious, modern, and beautifully designed. Choosing a room with direct access to the shared pool was also an excellent option that we highly recommend. Breakfasts were another highlight - delicious, varied, and always fresh. This is definitely a place worth recommending, where comfort and guest care are clearly the top priority.

We had a fantastic stay at Olea. Great food, lovely staff and location / views were stunning. Swim up suite is a great choice. Some things to consider however: - Construction style is great, but the quality isn’t. We had some humidity issues in our bathroom and spotted quite some defects as well outside. - The app they use is up for improvements, but it was good to have! - Olea is a great choice - but I’m certain there are better ones price/value wise imo in the same category. You need to be willing to pay extra for the views, location etc. The premium location, chill vibes, boho style, service and unique pools are what it really sets apart for me. Still a 5* though.

Yria Hotel is a low-key accommodation option in the heart of Zakynthos Town, just 70 meters from the beach. The hotel offers modest rooms with air conditioning, balconies, minibars, and satellite TV. Guests can enjoy bike rentals, a relaxed restaurant/bar, and complimentary breakfast. The friendly staff provides excellent service and assistance with booking changes.
The outside of the Hotel was beautiful with the flowers hanging off the balcony. The receptionists were all really nice and helpful. There is an elevator in the hotel which makes it really easy to move your luggage or get to your room quickly. The rooms (not deluxe) were pretty basic, but they served as a base perfectly, where you go only to sleep and shower. The breakfast was delicious and most importantly varied, consisting of several types of bread, jams, butter, meat, cheese, egg, sauces, even baked beans and watermelon and melon slices, and cereal. We always left the dining area stuffed and feeling satisfied. Breakfast by the way is from 7:30 until 10:30, for which you have to pay extra. The Hotel is not far from the city center, where there are several restaurants and bars, and some mini markets, and a stony beach is also a few minutes walk away. The bathroom (or at least ours) include both hand towels and shower towels, a package of hand soap, and a tube of shampoo/shower gel. The amount of these things varies based on how many people will stay in the room (if you go in pairs, it doubles). It also has a very old and kinda broken, but still working hairdryer. Be aware that you cannot throw used toilet paper in the toilet, it has to be thrown in the bin. The towels, soap, and the shampoo/gel gets frequently replaced (for us, it was done daily). The bedroom had a small wall-mounted TV, a small fridge, two bedside tables with lamps, and air conditioning, wich made the room very comfortable to arrive to. The room gets cleaned almost every day, so don't be scared when some personal stuff gets moved around. Overall, the time spent at the Hotel was really relaxing and pleasant, full of friendly faces. Every night it was like arriving home from a long and hot day.

Really impressed with this hotel, it offers excellent value for money. Arguably, the bathrooms could do with a bit of a refresh, but other than that, I can’t really fault anything else. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the location was fantastic. Within a few minute walk you are right amongst all of the bars and restaurants, and the harbour. Overall if you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel close to all of the amenities, then I would definitely recommend Yria Hotel and if I come back this is where I’ll be looking to stay.

Terrible experience , no flexibility, slow replies, and clearly more interested in keeping money than helping guests. Wouldn’t recommend.

The staff are very friendly and nice especially the lady with short hair. The cleaning staff are awesome they do a very good job cleaning. The AC works very well, the rooms are always clean everyday with fresh towels, the hotel is very strategically located so you can walk around old town. They also helped me change my booking when i made a mistake. Only thing I didn’t like as much was the shower curtain because the floor would get wet just be careful
Alexander — Google review
A good hotel to sleep and near the city center to visit by foot. We had a relly good matress. Our room had a balcony with Sea View. Maybe the rooms need a fresh-up in renovation, but it's not that bad. The bathroom of our room was really small to keep in mind if you are a big person. After all it was a nice Center of City Zakynthos experience.

Negative side: bad wifi, bad spot for network connection as well. If you need network connection than better choose other hotel. If not, then the hotel might be fine. It was quite, cleaning service everyday. Breakfast was good but without vegetables and/or fruits.

Nestled in the village of Kampi, about 29km from Zakynthos, Mabely Grand Hotel offers a grand experience with its two swimming pools, kids pool, gym, and restaurant. The 108 rooms are elegantly furnished and equipped with air conditioning, cable TV, and stunning views of the Ionian Sea or the hotel's garden. Some rooms even feature shared or private pools. Guests can enjoy European breakfast and local Zakynthian cuisine at the on-site restaurant.
Mabely Grand 04 June 2018 19:09 We came to stay at the Mabely Grand Hotel last year. My wife and I normally travel abroad 4 to 5 times a year and we normally would never go to the same place twice. its a big world and we like to try diffrent places. In the case of the Mabely Grand Hotel we were so impressed with the people who looked after us here, We had to come back. They are so welcoming, they are always available to talk to their guest and ensure that they are enjoying every aspect of the time spent at this beautiful Hotel. So back we have come this Year.we had told our friends about our stay and they joined us this year too and they too are so happy they came. The food is excellent here the dining area is beautiful and again the people are very attentive and so professional in every way. So to sum up Food 10 out of 10 Hotel 10 out of 10 Service 10 out of 10 Staff Excellent! Excellent! Excellent! Thank you, To all of you for making our stay with you so exceptional we will be back again.

Very nice place with friendly staff. I really liked the vintage style of the hotel. Lobby, bar, restaurant and the rooms are all beautiful, well designed. Staff was really kind and helpful. Everything was clean. Foods looked good and tasted well. We have spent a beautiful week in the hotel on Zakynthos island, would recommend this hotel for sure. The only thing I am giving 4* is the drinks. Wine served for the dinner tasted like low quality, cofee was made with too much water, cocktails were really bad for high price. If the drinks will be improved I would say everything is perfect with this hotel.
Tamás F — Google review
This place did not disappoint, the room, the service, the food, all amazing.we had our reservations about going here as it's so remote and we don't drive, the hotel has a shuttle bus that takes you to 4 different beaches, if you want to go to the sandy beach book when you arrive as it's popular, we had to wait a week. Also the hotel can arrange trips for you ,we went on the island tour , good fun and very relaxed. If you wake early and fancy a drink take a travel kettle and coffee sachets as there are no facilities in the rooms .I am glad we knew about this!! We had a very enjoyable 10 days thank you Mabely Grand

Fabulous! Amazing! Magnificent! Superb hotels, great amenities and extremely polite staff defines this property. Located in the middle of greens adds to the scenic beauty of the hotel. Staff is extremely helpful. They help you to manage from pick up- drop to arranging car rentals for you to arranging a short trip to nearest port to visit blue caves and the famous "shipwreck beach". Amenities provided were of high quality. The rooms were amazingly big. Mine was economy and yet the room was absolutely huge with stunning view of sea and garden both. Staff even helps you to organize a small birthday celebration for your loved ones. Not sure if Greek night is organized regularly but we we're lucky to attend one and it was full of fun. Great experience at Zakynthos and Mabely.

the hotel is good and good value for the money. facilities and breakfast were pretty good. however if you are looking for a more laid back place don’t go there. you can’t have shorts for dinner and there are some expectations that you are well dressed. also if you don’t do the all inclusive the drinks are super expensive comparing to the rest of the island - 22 euros for 2 mojitos 😳
Barbara O — Google review
This is an absolute gem of a hotel. Situated away from the party side of the island it's quiet and peaceful set right up against a cliff looking west. You get amazing sunsets on the terrace, lovely sun all day. But by far the best aspect would be the food. The Al la carte is simply brilliant. Going all inclusive here is a joy. The drinks for all inclusive are a little limited (as most places are) but the food more than makes up for it. Finally you can hire a car from the hotel and travel around the island to wherever you like (it takes no more than 40 mins) to wherever you want to go. Fully recommend it.
Tom S — Google review
It is certainly a grand hotel. The views are wonderful. The staff are exceptionally helpful and look after us very well. The food and service at every meal is excellent. The bedrooms are comfortable, the dining room and bars are welcoming and the lounges are most comfortable. Extremely well recommended.
Joan K — Google review
The hotel is very nice and very well kept. I would definitely come back. The only thing I would encourage management is to advise the staff to smile and be a little more interactive with guests. For example last night I went for dinner with my wife and upon leaving the restaurant, we greeted the manager with a good bye and he did not even respond yet alone crack a smile. This is the a free expense for all people that goes a long way. Especially when you are in the hospitality industry. Sincerely

Boat rental service
Every summer, Caretta-Caretta turtles lay their eggs in Laganas Bay. In this bay lies Marathonisi, a small island with a protected water park where tourists can observe these turtles. To reach Marathonisi, visitors have the option of renting boats from various companies at the port. Among these options is Caretta Caretta Motorboats, chosen for its competitive prices.
We were recommended our trip via our fantastic rep Maritina Bari at the hotel, Caretta Caretta motorboats came highly recommended and I can now see why. The drive was about 1hour away from our hotel (the grand hotel Alykanas beach). Upon arrival the owner was expecting us and was so helpful and friendly, we were early so we sat and talked to him for around 30min which he appreciated and was great to learn more about Greece. In total we paid €160 for 4hours to hire a boat for 6 people that included a skipper (Dionis). We went to see the caves, turtles and the best bit Marathonissi island. I can’t recommend enough the fact that you have to visit Marathonissi island it’s beaches and caves are amazing and Caretta Caretta boat hire were amazing!

Great experience, best price on the island. We rented a boat for 1 day. The instructions were acurate, we had the oportunity to see couple of turtles. I definetly recomend.

We had a great day with Caretta Caretta Motorboats. We were able to drive the boat ourselves, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Compared to other companies in the area, their prices were very reasonable. Everything was well-organized, and the Manolis communication was excellent. Highly recommended!

We had a great experience with Caretta Caretta Motorboats. The price was very affordable compared to other options in the area. The owner was extremely understanding and accommodating when we had a small issue, and he took the time to clearly explain the destinations and routes we could take. The only aspect that could be improved is the boat’s cleanliness, although this is partly understandable given how convenient and budget-friendly the service is. Overall, very satisfied and would rent again!
Fabio P — Google review
We had a really nice time, the pick up and drop off was quite fast and straight forward. The staff was friendly and helpful. We were able to see lots of spots and the area is really beautiful. The only thing was that we struggled when using the anchor and we saw a lot of people with the anchor stuff through the rocks, it's not as intuitive as it seems. Also, don't forget to wear sunscreen!
Dominique L — Google review
We highly recommend renting a motorboat from Manolis! We sailed on the boat for the first time, everything was explained and shown to us in great detail. We took a small boat of 15 horsepower, it was enough for two people. There were life jackets just in case, luggage space. Fuel is included in the price and its large stock. Price was extremely good (100 euros per day) Thank you for a great day!

Visitors to Marathonisi can enjoy dining at various restaurants such as Komis Fish Tavern and Votsalo with picturesque views of the island.
Perfect .I paddle here from laganas early morning flat calm sea .without the many motor boats .

We got dropped off there by one of the tour boats and it immediately felt very bad. This is the beach the turtles go to to lay their eggs. The island was overcrowded, no place to explore or lay your towel. They should completely close it off to people so that the turtles have one place they can go in peace without massive amounts of people chasing them.
Enikö T — Google review
Stunning but small beach with nice views and ability to see the turtle nesting sites. Cannot touch for obvious reasons. Amazing afternoon turtle spotting with the family. Beautiful end to our Zakynthos holiday.

Get a boat taxi from Agios Sostis port and you ll have a short trip to Caves and Marathonisi beach. No beach umbrellas allowed. There are also small cantinas with sandwiches and drinks on the island. No reservation is needed.

You can buy a taxi boat for +€10pp they will drop you on the island and pick you up whenever you want to go back. I've seen some turtles in the water, and didn't visit the actual island as it wasn't part of our trip.

AliKemal S — Google review
It’s a nice place, beautiful blue and clear water, recommended to visit. Lots of fish but no turtle. The beach isn’t big and usually lots of people. No toilet option just let you know. Usually 2-3 boats converted to shop and you can buy drink ,burgers , ice creams ect basic but useful, also the boats is the only option to put your bin out. If you go to Zakinthos you should visit the island
Zoltán P — Google review
They call it Turtle island bc there are no constructions by humen(luckily!) No light, No Noise, No human pollution & No enemy, so the best place for turtles to lay eggs. Nice beach but not something special! If you’re lucky you can spot some turtles. But we saw them at the laganas beach! So no need to disturb the nature for tanning on a beach. You could tan in every other beach. Also because tourists don’t pay attention and throw plastic and rubbish on the bech and in the sea! 😤😣🤦🏻‍♀️

We were lucky enough to stay at The Sirocco this year after many years walking past and admiring it from the street. The hotel is so peaceful and tranquil. The perfect place to just come and relax. It is is a lovely location and central to all shops, bars and restaurants. It has a beautiful bathing area and pool with plenty of sunbeds and parasols The pool bar provides a lovely choice of food and drink with really lovely polite and courteous staff that cannot do enough for you. The hotel provides a lovely breakfast with lots of choice between the hours of 8am and 10am The rooms are lovely and on arrival was clean and tidy. The hotel reception staff are amazing, again they cannot do enough for you. They are so helpful and offer help and support if you need it. The only negative I will add is the cleaners are sometimes quite late coming to clean the rooms. On a few occasions it was gone 6pm when they came and cleaned the room and we wanted to get showered and ready for our evening meal. However the cleaners were lovely. On the whole I cannot fault this hotel and myself and my husband will definitely be back again to stay.

Great hotel, newly renovated. Clean, spacious rooms, everything maintained, friendly staff, always willing to help, breakfast and dinner excellent, great choice of food. Hotel is in quiet area. The beach is about 300 meters away, I recommend walking a little further (on the opposite side from Laganas) as there are beach showers. The beach is beautiful, sandy, clean, gradual entrance to the sea. The only minus/downside of the hotel is that the towels are changed only every 3 days and that the bathroom is smaller and older. That's all. The hotel is better in quality than some hotels with more stars - it is very good 3* hotel, great value. I definitely recommend Hotel Sirocco. I would go there again.

Super friendly and very helpful staff, mediocre food, but tasty and plentiful. My junior suite was a bit disappointing . Dated shower, plastic shower surround was rickety, no view from balcony, tiny hanging space in wardrobe. Beds were comfortable though. That said, it didn't spoil my time there. It's amazingly quiet, very clean and the pool is fab. Only a short walk to main town. Lots of bars and restaurants, not much else. There's a lovely taverna by the beach ( Stanni Taverna) a few mins walk away and a cocktail bar called the Cave Bar....both worth a visit! You'll need to get out of town now n then, otherwise a tad monotonous. 1 week was ample time! Be aware, they charge for pool towels, and I had to pay extra €10 tax upon arrival. In all, a nice relaxing getaway 😌

Located on the southwest coast of Zakynthos, Keri Caves are a series of stunning sea caves that open onto clear turquoise waters. These caves offer a mesmerizing experience for snorkelers and scuba divers, with the sunlight creating beautiful reflections on the cave walls. While boat trips to the Blue Caves are popular, Keri Caves provide a less crowded alternative for swimming and exploration. Visitors can join organized excursions or rent boats to independently explore these smaller yet equally captivating caves.
This is a must see when on Zakynthos. From the harbour at Agios Sostis you can take a tour boat priced from 10 - 25 euro per person. This will get you to both sea turtle watching, Keri caves and to a little beach for sunbathing. The trips are fine but beware that not all thinks highly of the turtle watching as It may stress the turtles ....instead i can highly recommend a trip to the free sea turtle sanctuary... The trip to the caves are very nice though and just being at sea in a hot day is wonderful. I can highly recommend visiting Keri caves, the are well worth a visit

Sue G — Google review
The Keri Caves are a mesmerizing natural wonder on the southern coast of Zakynthos, offering a truly unforgettable experience for nature and adventure lovers. Accessible only by boat, the caves are a series of stunning geological formations carved into the cliffs by the sea. Their beauty lies in the dramatic contrast between the rugged white cliffs and the brilliant turquoise waters that surround them. Exploring the Keri Caves by boat is a magical experience. Many tours allow you to get close to the caves, and some even let you swim or snorkel inside. The water is crystal-clear, and the play of light within the caves creates an almost otherworldly atmosphere. If you’re lucky, you might even spot some marine life while snorkeling, adding an extra layer of wonder to the experience. One of the highlights is the chance to see the larger caves up close, some of which are big enough for small boats to pass through. The echoing sound of the waves inside the caves adds to their mystique. The surrounding coastline, with its steep cliffs and secluded beaches, is equally breathtaking. While the Keri Caves are best visited during calm weather, the trip is well worth it. Whether you’re there for the adventure, the photography opportunities, or simply to admire Zakynthos’ natural beauty, Keri Caves is a must-visit destination that captures the magic of the island perfectly.

Tsilivi Beach Hotel is a laid-back beachfront hotel with a prime location on Tsilivi's beach. The hotel features two restaurants, two outdoor pools, bars, and a playground. Guests can enjoy various outdoor activities such as water polo, football, and basketball. The buffet restaurant offers themed nights with cuisine ranging from Mexican to Greek, Italian, and French. Live entertainment is also available during the week.
Beautiful Location with Relaxing Vibes The hotel is located in a truly picturesque spot. Our sea view room offered absolutely stunning and breathtaking views. The pools were sufficient for the number of guests, and there’s easy access to the beach. The hotel has its own beach area, which is lovely — although sunbeds are payable, it felt great to be so close to the shallow, calm waters. It’s especially ideal for families with young kids, as the bay stays shallow for several meters before it gets deep, making it safe and hassle-free. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, adding to the overall relaxing atmosphere. The only downside for us was the food — while it was okay, the menus lacked variety and creativity. Another small surprise was the lack of evening entertainment. Besides the kids' disco and a bingo night, there wasn't much going on, which is unusual for this type of hotel. That said, we ended up enjoying the peaceful, quiet evenings from our balcony. Highly recommended for a visit!

Fab hotel, just returned back to UK after a wonderful week stay. Room was perfect location, friendly staff from booking in to leaving. Big thankyou to you all. Only disappointment, if you want a sunbed around the pool or terrace, you need to be up very early to beat the once a year visitors who just love to put towels out, leave them till afternoon before using them, 🤔

It could have that over the top service easy but doesn’t. Beach is great but don’t think you’re not gonna get away without paying 20€ a day for 2 lounges and a side table every day on the beach in front of the resort. There is way too few lounges by the pool but are free. Snack bar is very limited. Rooms are nice. Beach bar is closed until 6:00pm and open after the beach is closed. 🤦‍♀️Don’t let the pictures fool you. It’s closed all day but you can get a drink by the pool bar. It’s a little trek to get there. It just feels after spending 1000’s for the holiday, your hand is forced to spend more because of limited openings and choices. Staff nice, rooms nice and food decent.

Mixed bag. The entertainment was okay but nothing too exciting. Our room was fairly dirty and there were brown stains on the towels when we arrived. The bathroom door handle was nearly falling off and the door itself got stuck whenever we closed it; sometimes it could take five minutes and a lot of bashing the door to get out of the bathroom. Eventually we just left it open. The water to the room is extremely unreliable, temperature wise; turning the shower knob by a couple of degrees changes the water from scalding to icy, and it takes a long while to warm up at first. The electricity card slot was unreliable and electricity would flicker off and on multiple times when first entering the room. The travel cot we were provided was very clearly broken and it took until later the first night to get it changed for one that would be suitable for our 5-month-old baby to sleep in. I tried to call reception to report these things but the phone in our room didn’t work. I asked to be moved and was told there was no availability despite the hotel not seeming overly busy. The drinks selection is relatively poor and the (sometimes quite abrupt) staff don’t seem to know how to make them as sometimes there would be completely incorrect ingredients or you’d end up with half a cup of grenadine. If the beer isn’t watered down then it’s the most tasteless beer I’ve ever tried. Be careful here if you have food allergies. My daughter has a cow’s milk protein allergy and as a result we need to have a dairy-free diet and are also excluding eggs to be safe, but the allergen information here is nonexistent if not outright deceptive. There are signs proudly displaying various allergy icons which imply those icons might be present elsewhere on the food labels but no. Most of the time the food labels are handwritten and feature no icons; other times they’ll be printed and have some icons but clearly be missing icons for containing milk when it’s a dish in a cheese sauce; sometimes food will be unlabelled. On our last day they swapped to new labels for the food which had a checklist of allergens underneath the name of the dish, but at no point were any of the allergens actually ticked so again it’s completely useless. Credit to Angelo who was very helpful and knowledgeable about allergen information for the middle few days of our stay, but the rest of the staff were utterly clueless; I asked the chef at the (extremely limited) snack bar which items contained milk and his response was “I don’t know”. You’re given a form at check-in to tick the allergies you have, but showing this form with the Milk and Eggs boxes ticked just resulted in them asking about whether we can have Gluten and Mustard. 🤷‍♂️ I honestly don’t know if the staff understand that butter is also something we need to avoid or if they very literally just advised me whether things had actual milk in. I guarantee that we have eaten dairy at some point during our stay despite trying our best to avoid it. I won’t say the food itself was limited because it’s mostly our diet that restricted what we could eat. The quality of the food was mostly decent; nothing special but probably better than a lot of all-inclusive places I’ve been. I don’t think there was a single safe dessert during our stay; even the jelly had whipped cream all over it.

Hotel is good and reception staff helpful. The bar is sterile and lacking atmosphere. Had to make a complaint as at 11pm when the bar stops serving, they pulled down the shutters and turned off the lights when people were still drinking at tables. As you can imagine being on the beach front, there isn't much light so could have caused an accident.

Still got PTSD from this place. Food is absolutely horrendous doesn't smell or taste nice. Weird combinations never seen anything like it. Drinks are cheap low budget no named brands. Sauces no named cheap brands.Staff are rude and arrogant unwilling to help rooms are bog standard. No people of colour so you get stared at and recording all day. My kids still cry when we speak about this holiday id love to forget but the trauna still there.

dont listen to the bad reviews! we have just come back from there and could not fault the place. staff were great and very friendly, everywhere was clean as were the rooms, nothing neede any repairs anywhere so we would definitely go there again-nice place to go and right on the beach too!

Water & Amusement Parks
Zante Water Village, located in Sarakinado on the mainland, is an outdoor water park suitable for all ages. The park offers a variety of attractions including towering slides like the 3 octopus slides, Slippery Rabbit and Boomer Bowl. Families can relax on the 300-meter-long Lazy River or experience an adrenaline rush in the Black Hole.
The water slides were incredible – we had so much fun zooming down them! The lazy pool and swimming pool were great, and the cleanliness of the facilities was top-notch. With plenty of sunloungers available, we could relax and enjoy the sun – a fantastic day out! The food was okay, but the best part was that we didn't have to wait long to get it. What really made our visit stand out was that it wasn't busy at all, which made for a really relaxed and enjoyable experience. Overall, we had an amazing time and would highly recommend this water park!

“Zante Water Village – Simply Fantastic!” ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ What a gem! Zante Water Village offers incredible value (€25 for a full-day adult ticket!)—truly a great price for everything you get. Where do I even start… the slides are amazing. From heart-stopping plunges like the Free Fall Plus and Kamikaze to the thrilling Boomer Bowl and head-first Mat Racer, there’s non-stop excitement for all adrenaline levels. Cleanliness here is top-notch—everywhere felt immaculately clean and tidy, and the lifeguards were attentive, which made the whole experience feel safe and relaxing. The atmosphere? Perfect. Easy to spend all day in the sun, lounging on free sunbeds under umbrellas, riding the relaxed 300-meter Lazy River, and enjoying the laid-back vibe with minimal queues and plenty of space to chill.

A beautiful aqua park with facilities for all ages. The prices are very fair. The atmosphere is excellent. Large and small swimming pools, slides, a relaxing river surrounded by palm trees and flowers, a jacuzzi and a lot more...

A great day out. Water park was clean and staff were incredibly hard working. FUN FACT : There are two pool bars that only take cash and as a result were not very busy... so take some cash to avoid the long queues. Price of food and drink very reasonable. We booked our trip through Peters Tours, so a coach picked us up from our Hotel (Diana Palace Hotel) and took us back at the end of the day. I'm giving the attraction a four because of the fake La Bu Bu toys on sale. My daughters were desperate and as a surprise, we bought them one each at 15 euros each. Terrible fake imitations and a terrible let down to the end of an awesome day.
FebePops — Google review
Fun waterpark. Variety of slides. Probably only need about 4 hours there. Plenty of sun beds, was very quiet when we went, ? Due to location. Good priced food there. Lockers €5 with €1 back if key returned

Brilliant place, clean and so many options to choose from. Great for families, kids of all ages and adults too. The eatery can get busy at times but they are working at super speed so a little waiting but it's okay.
Szabo B — Google review
Decent size water village which is larger than the one in Tsilivi. Was a queue to get in as many coaches arrived at once. Plenty of sun loungers and a wide selection of pools and slides for all ages.
James D — Google review
Good value for families, but organization could improve Rating: 4/5 stars I booked our tickets through My Tours, who arranged the booking. On arrival, the ticketing area was extremely disorganized and we ended up waiting about 45 minutes to enter despite having pre-purchased tickets. That delay lowered the experience a bit. A practical tip: bring your own towel, as towels aren’t provided. The place is nice and compact, with shorter queues compared with larger parks, which is great for families with kids. Food was decent, but there are no halal options available on the island—the options elsewhere are better, though you can find some good choices overall. Overall, worth trying, especially for families, but be prepared for some organizational hiccups.

Alykanas Beach Grand Hotel by Zante Plaza offers a laid-back experience with relaxed studio and 2-bedroom apartments, a bar, and an outdoor pool. Situated in Alikanas, it is conveniently located near Alykanas Beach and Alykes Beach. The hotel features a stunning location with lovely rooms offering sea views. Guests can enjoy beautiful and fresh Greek dishes at the outdoor dining area right by the sea while being served by friendly and hardworking staff.
had a wonderful time at this resort! The chef deserves 5 stars – every meal, from breakfast to dinner, was a healthy and delicious variety of Mediterranean dishes. The resort is very comfortable, family-friendly, and felt completely safe. The beach was crystal clear, perfect for children to swim, and the hospitality was outstanding. I highly recommend it for families. You can also enjoy an evening trip to Zakynthos town or take a boat to explore the beautiful surrounding beaches. The location is excellent, and the staff were extremely polite and welcoming. The Albanian employees super hardworking and polite made our stay more memorable!

Great hotel and location. Good choice of food for an all inclusive holiday. Drinks very warm not kept in fridge with only ice to cool them. No fizzy drink on tap all from bottle. Not enough sun loungers or parasols for the amount of guests so usually tussle with Europeans for a sun lounger at 7.30 🤯 toilet doors are glass with a gap around them so no privacy when showering or using the toilet.

We had a fantastic holiday! It was our first time traveling and trying all-inclusive, and it was a wonderful experience. We stayed for a week to celebrate my husband’s birthday. I had arranged a cake with the hotel via email, and they even delivered complimentary prosecco to our room — such a thoughtful touch. The food was great and we never had any issues. Even when we arrived late on a Monday night, we were still allowed to have a meal. On the day we checked out, we were happy to find that we could continue using the facilities and even eat before leaving. I’ve seen some complaints in other reviews, but this was our experience: of course, the hotel can always improve by listening to guest feedback, but overall we were very satisfied. Staff were quick and attentive when clearing tables, and our room had a lovely view from the middle floor. A couple of the receptionists weren’t very welcoming, but most of the staff were helpful and kind. When we left, we wanted to thank everyone for their service, so we asked if the tip box was separated by department — we ended up leaving tips in each one. Yes, there were a lot of wasps during our stay, but that’s something beyond the hotel’s full control. As for the value, all-inclusive is definitely worth it and much cheaper compared to bed & breakfast if you make the most of it. Thank you for a memorable holiday — until next time!

The hotel has a very good location. Close to the airport, and next to the beach with beautiful views. The room was clean and nice. The food is amazing, many local dishes, different food on each day. The only issue with it is that its burnt frequently. We spent a great time with 4YO children there. The crew is amazing, very helpful and hard working. My only negative remark would be, that its quite loud.

We spent our holiday here with my sister and our children, and it was an absolutely amazing experience – for adults, but especially for the kids. I have to start with the hotel restaurant. A huge thank-you goes to the head chef! My nephew has a serious allergy to nuts and seeds. The chef was incredibly helpful, always willing to show us what he could and couldn’t eat, even during busy times. We were never kept waiting. My nephew was so happy to have a wide selection of meals and even desserts – this is the very first hotel where we’ve had such a positive experience. The staff were all lovely, kind, and always willing to help whenever possible. The food was simply excellent. The hotel itself is beautiful and very clean, with daily cleaning service and fresh towels every day. I also want to highlight how kind and meticulous the housekeeping staff were. The room was beautifully furnished, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. The sea was perfect – shallow for a long stretch, which made it ideal for children. The water was clean, crystal-clear, and pleasantly warm. In short – a big thank-you to the entire hotel team for a wonderful holiday. We will definitely be coming back!💙🤍💙🤍🌹

Extremely disappointing – This is not a 4-star hotel I stayed at this hotel during my summer holiday and, despite the good location and the nice beach, the overall experience was far below expectations. Frankly, this place doesn’t deserve its 4-star rating – it would struggle to qualify as a 3-star hotel based on the services and standards we encountered. From the start, there was no welcome or explanation upon arrival – we had to figure everything out ourselves. The food was unacceptable, with some dishes being completely inedible, and most nowhere near 4-star quality. The only snacks available were pizza and sandwiches, both low-quality. Plates and cutlery were often dirty and wet, and only cheap drinks were available, served through vending machines – no quality options, not even for purchase. As for the room, while the balcony was quite nice, we experienced numerous issues: • Constant electrical buzzing coming from the walls • Poor soundproofing • No drying rack provided • Cleanliness was an issue: the room was already dirty upon arrival, and the bathroom and floors weren’t cleaned daily • We had to put on the clean sheets ourselves • The bathroom door was frosted glass, didn’t fully cover the doorway, and couldn’t be closed – no privacy at all • We ran out of toilet paper, and when we asked for more, we were handed a roll at the front desk, having to walk through the hotel with it, instead of it being brought to our room The bottle of water in the room was never refilled, and you’re not allowed to use the drink dispensers to refill it. Even worse, the bar doesn’t serve bottled still water. Used glasses weren’t collected from the room – we were told to leave them on the hallway windowsills, which is simply unacceptable for any hotel, let alone a 4-star. To top it off, every night the staff rolled loud carts through the garden, making a lot of noise even with windows shut. All in all, this stay – which we had been looking forward to – turned out to be a major letdown. It’s a shame, because the hotel could have potential with just a bit of care and attention. But as it is, I would not recommend it and will definitely not return.

After a week of vacation for first time to this hotel i can say that the total experience was very good! Child friendly even for babies with special menu, the food in general was very good with many choices and kids menu for the difficult kids every day. I really dont understand some negative comments about the food and the drinks. For me the food was perfect!!! Only the Beer if it can be colder? and that's it! The service from all the employs was excellent, polite and helpful anytime. The location is a big advantage with the pool and the sea very close so it is easy to go from the one the other. The sea is a shallow sandy beach very good for kids. Clean rooms with everyday cleaning service! Now the things that i would like to see improved is the Playground. I think adding more things and taking a service to the existing one will be good. Do something with the wasps if it is possible and the last thing is the door of the bathroom... Glass door with less privacy to the bathroom is not ideal. These three things where the only negative things for me. The whole experience was great, i recommend it, and definety i will come back.
Antonis D — Google review
The lowest value for money ever. Payed 2.000€ for 7 days and the hotel doesn’t even have: 1. A private beach with beach beds (even though it is called Alykanas Beach) 2. Bottled water (you drink water from a dispenser and a very bad water) 3. Client service: there were dogs roaming the hotel, bathing in the kids pools and the staff didn’t even care about it. The beer dispenser was not working and the staff said that the manager knows and they are waiting so if we want to drink we have to drink it warm. The first hotel where you have to pour your own drink (beer, wine, water) 4. Honesty: I am currently still in the hotel, while writing this review and I am reading a lot of bad reviews of people who experienced the same as me and the hotel just replies that “they are already working on solving the issue”, small disclaimer guys THEY AREN’T. 5. The consumer protection authorities should know about this hotel, as the 4 star rating is definitely not fit for it.

The Little Farm is a wonderful place for families to visit and enjoy some quality time together. The farm offers the opportunity to engage in arts and crafts activities while being surrounded by beautiful flowers, olive groves, and picturesque mountain views. Visitors can also treat themselves to celebratory ice cream at the end of their visit. The animals on the farm are well cared for, and visitors have the chance to feed and interact with them in a safe and calm environment.
A Hidden Gem on the Island – The Little Farm What a beautiful and heartwarming place! The animals are so well cared for and absolutely adorable. The entrance was just €7 per person, and for only €2 you could buy food to feed the animals. If you wanted to gently wash a turtle, it was also €2 – such a unique and sweet experience! The homemade lemonade was delicious, and the owner… what a gem! She is so kind, genuinely passionate, and clearly a true animal lover. You can feel the love and dedication in every corner of the farm. If you’re on the island, don’t miss this! It’s such a lovely change of pace from the beach and sea – relaxing, fun, and perfect for all ages. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to everyone! ❤️🫶🏼

What a cute little farm! We went on Tuesday and it was such a fun morning. My son absolutely loved scrubbing a tortoise and petting all the other animals. My husband sat down and a goat jumped on his lap 😂😂😂. We loved feeding the goats and chickens. I highly recommend this for a family trip.

We visited a wonderful farm in Zakynthos and had an amazing time! First of all, we want to thank the lady at the reception – she was incredibly professional and very friendly. She told us so many interesting things about the turtles, which we even had the chance to wash ourselves – it was such a fun and unique experience! All the animals on the farm looked happy and well cared for, which made the visit even more enjoyable. The farm itself is beautiful, peaceful, and full of charm – a perfect place to relax and spend time in nature. We truly loved everything about our visit and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Zakynthos!

Can't give more than 5 stars. Absolutely amazing. Really nice and friendly staff, amazing animals which you can feed and pet. Very beautiful environment, places to sit and enjoy drink with view on animals which will come to you to check if you happen to have something for them as well. 10/10, will definitely visit again

A delightfully caring little Animal farm to visit. I am very careful what animal experiences I choose to visit as many do not meet good welfare standards. The little farm does, it is the most precious place to meet a variety of gorgeous animals all going about their days. They are SO well cared for. The animals are very happy and healthy and you can really see what love and care gets put into it. A really lovely few hours spent in the company of such sweet little souls. They seem to have a small veggie menu, a vegan option would be even better 😉. Loved feeding the animals, especially the cheeky goats. Highly recommend.

A little hidden gem of a farm, easy to find off the main road of Laganas. Lovely staff and you can stroke all the animals who are super friendly. A nice mixture of animals at the farm and it's well set out with lots of shade. With lots of things to offer, a snack bar, drinks, gift shop and olive tasting. It cost, for me and my daughter, €18 to enter and that included 3 different types of food each to feed the animals. All in all a lovely few hours well spent.

Nestled in the picturesque landscape of Zakynthos, St. John Resort - Villas, Suites & SPA offers an exquisite retreat for those seeking luxury and tranquility. This upscale destination features elegant suites and villas, each equipped with private pools that invite relaxation amidst lush gardens. Guests can indulge in a delightful dining experience at the polished on-site restaurant or unwind at the spa, which is housed within a charming central building adorned with stunning views of rolling hills and the sparkling Ionian Sea.
The villas at St. John Resort are spacious and well-appointed. We stayed in a three-bedroom villa with a private pool, which was ideal for our group. The villa had all the amenities we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, and modern bathrooms. The daily housekeeping kept everything spotless. The location, though on a hill, offered stunning views and was just a short drive from the beach and local attractions.

We had a really great time during our stay. The place felt very private and peaceful, and the staff were super friendly and helpful throughout. The restaurant was a nice surprise – good food, fair prices, and a relaxed atmosphere. We also made good use of the gym, and having private parking was really convenient. Our villa was spacious and perfect for a group – three bedrooms, separate bathrooms, a balcony, and even a private pool. Everything was clean and well taken care of. The cleaning service did a great job. One thing that made things really easy was the 24/7 shuttle service – it helped us get around the property without any hassle. All in all, we had a lovely stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommend!

We also appreciated the hotel’s amenities, especially the well-equipped gym and the spacious private parking. The villa itself was fantastic – spacious and thoughtfully designed with three separate rooms, each with its own bathroom and a private pool. The stay at St. John’s Resort & Villas was very nice. We stayed at a spacious private villa with our own pool and balcony. From the balcony we had an incredible View over the ocean. The villas were tidy and the maids did an excellent job at maintaining our comfort during the stay. On top of that the WiFi speed was very good so we could stream films in the evening. They also have a 24/7 service to drive you around the areal so everything is comfortably accessible. If you want to work out, they also have a very well quipped hotel gym with the newest machines (techno gym). We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel restaurant. We were very satisfied with the service and the food. Our favorite dish was the steak - everybody needs to try this! Overall we felt very comfortable and we can definitively recommend to stay at St. John’s resorts & Villas. We’ll certainly visit again in the future.

Very good and organised hotel with 4 stars .... Nice and tasty food .... Cleaning every day.... Very nice location close to the beach ....
Ploc — Google review
Actually, when we read other reviews, we expected it to be worse than it was. Hotel is located right to the good sandy beach with sun beds available for extra fee. Hotel is rated 4 stars, but in reality it is closer to 3. Room itself was fine, air conditioning working, but furniture is quite poor. Bed uncomfortable with metal frame. Bathroom is more like hostel level, shower head holder was loose. In the evening when everyone preparing for dinner, water supply has shortage on hot water, so expect showering with cold water. Food menu is fine, but we don’t eat breakfast so not much to tell, lunch and dinner was fine, food is tasty, except their soups. Soups are complete waste, tastes like was made from powder. Don’t expect food selection like in Turkey. Choices are limited, but there was always something to eat for our taste. Snack selection is poor, sometimes slices of pizza sometimes sandwiches and fries. Also cold sandwiches. Hotel has pool with sun beds around and the bar is next to it. Room service worked fine, towels, bed sheets, room cleaning was done everyday. All in all, there could be some improvement, but we were satisfied. P.S. main visitors are czech, polish, hungarians and lithuanians.
Vytautas Š — Google review
We booked the hotel through a travel agency. The rooms are really spacious and nice, with balconies. They have different ambient lighting. The atmosphere in the hotel was very relaxing, the food and drinks were tasty and the staff very kind. A real plus is the location almost directly on the neat and wide sandy beach. The hotel is located in a quiet area with silence at night, but still close to the lively nightlife and many small shops, which are easily accessible. Activities: There were fun activities for both children and adults in Czech during the day. Nice Greek music and dance program on selected evenings. It is also possible to take boat trips to interesting rock caves with beautiful azure water, Marathonisi or e.g. to the famous Navagio beach. Different guests certainly had their own experiences with different rooms. Cleaning was daily, the floors were clean. There is room for improvement in the maintenance of the rooms in terms of visual repairs of the bathrooms and door cleaning because standards vary. Overall the stay was very pleasant and we enjoyed it.
Zuzka K — Google review
The only good thing about this hotel is that it’s right next to the beach. Other than that — huge disappointment. The rooms were dirty, the paint was peeling off the walls. The bathroom floor was leaking constantly, mould was everywhere. The shower was honestly disgusting. AC didn’t work (although that is a matter of luck, because the room next to us had a fully working AC). We also were extremely disappointed with the incredibly loud polish music the hotel played by the poolside at about 10-11 in the morning. It made naps or sleeping in absolutely impossible. Maybe if it wasn’t polish it would’ve been less infuriating :D What was *honestly* infuriating was the housekeeping and reception. Every time housekeeping paid us a visit, they took away at least one necessary item — either a towel or a bedsheet. For example, on the second day of our stay, they took the 4 dirty towels and gave us only 2 clean ones, on the third — no clean towels + only one bedsheet instead of 2, on the fourth — nothing was changed at all, housekeeping just swept through the floor (we saw it bc we were walking past to our room and the door was wide open) and so on. We brought this problem to the front desk where they couldn’t even reach the head of housekeeping after calling numerous times. We were promised we’d get our towels and an extra bedsheet promptly but this issue took multiple hours to resolve. I will personally never understand why they didn’t just change at least the towels in the first place — did they expect we wouldn’t say anything? The other major issue is the food. I’m pretty sure I lost weight during our stay. I couldn’t bring myself to eat anything else other than salads and potatoes because everything looked like pig feed, but then the majority of the salads tasted like soap or were inedible because of strange ingredient combinations. The coffee was not good either, and the desserts were just overwhelming with the amount of sugar in them. 0/10 would not visit again.

I would call it a misunderstanding. 4 stars??? Really?! We were visiting this hotel on September. We just expected to sleep and eat there, because we had plans to travel around the island, not stay inside. But from the very first day we were disapointed (even we had a basic expectations). We agree, that food is a matter of taste (it was not bad, but also - not good), but the rest - just awful. Starting from bathroom: plumbing bad, leaking everywhere (there always was a flood while taking a shower!), mold. Hairdryer - not working. Informed receptionist girl about that and she promised to call a technician, but guess what? Nothing has happened during all stay. Bed - hard as floor. Dust and not clean floor from the first day. Also… Most of the pictures in their page is a visualisation of the hotel (maybe how it should look like, but not real photos). Best thing about this hotel - it is a location (close to the sea and Tsilivi city). In general - overpriced for what they offer, so not recommended.

This is all about average (meaning, do not expect too much, it will never look like it is advertised in catalogues) . Meal, drinks, rooms... No way this should be 4* hotel, more likely 3*. But the sea is great and it is nice place to stay with your children, especially if you are Czech - animation team is very nice, young and very pleasant stuff who takes care of your children through out the day.

Pros: -Beach is within few minutes walking distance -Professional and friendly bartenders at the bar -Close to Tsilivi. Cons: -Very unfriendly and unprofessional animator (lady with long wavy hairs), who was pointing at me and talking in russian in informal way (ты). I assume you may talk to someone like this only who is a child or whenever you know a person? -Even though we had little shower gel remaining - we had to additionally ask for it (although the room was recently after service) and wait for it like 30 minutes to be brought by receptionist (we came after beach and had urge to take a shower - I guess it is not that hard to bring it sooner). -Whenever getting a hot dish - it is cold -No free spot by the swimming pool - all sunbathes are always “occupied” by the towels which are being left while having a meal in the restaurant. Also night swimming is forbidden (but when to enjoy the swimming pool when its always full?)

Positive •Next to the beach Negative * We reached late night and the staff wasn’t really welcoming * No phone in the room * No towels in the room I had to go to the reception to ask for them, the receptionist brought me the towels but they were disgustingly stained. I asked him if he has clean ones, his answer was why? What’s wrong with them. I showed him that they are dirty- stained and his answer was “it’s k no it our fault, the laundry didn’t cleaned them properly”. I found the answer super unprofessional. * Safe box in the room has extra charge 12€ x week or if you are staying less it’s than a week goes 3€ x day! * Shower was disgustingly dirty, with black mold all around, insects walking. * Toilet bowl was dirty * bathroom emergency pull-string was full of black mold * Humidity all around the walls in the room * Spider net all around the doors in the hotel and in the room * Pictures of the hotel in the internet do not reflect reality * Last but not the least… housekeeping staff will wake you up at 8:30 AM, it doesn’t matter if you are on holiday they will break into your room. The hotel staff (housekeeping or other staff) they will literally knock the door and not wait even a second for you to open the door… they literally BREAK IN your room as it happened to us, while I was naked. * Food selection & quality was very average. I definitely DON’T recommend this MOTEL to anyone. Thank God we found a real Hotel in the same area to spend our last couple of days.

Caretta Beach Holiday Village is a sprawling resort with a free beach shuttle and an impressive water park. The accommodation includes comfortable family-sized rooms and apartments, some of which may need updating. There are two restaurants offering diverse dining options, as well as a snack bar with delicious ice cream. The location is convenient, being close to the airport and the beach.
My children's first holiday abroad, absolutely loved every minute of it, we would go back tomorrow if we could, staff were friendly and helpful, the place was clean. We had a swim up room which I highly recommend. Honestly can't fault this place, take the bad reviews with a pinch of salt. If your thinking of booking do it!!

Very friendly and helpful employees. Lots of different pools and entertainment for the kids. But the food was bad and the drinks even worse. Bought 1-week all inclusive and we are ending up eating most meals in restaurants out in the city and island. In the night it is not possible for our small kids to go to sleep or even for us to enjoy the balcony until at least 23, as the "entertainment" is so loud. At least I look forward to hearing the same 10 kids songs every night, 7 nights in a row... This was NOT the vacation we thought we had bought. The a'la'carte restaurant is to be avoided, as the service and food quality is worse than the buffet. My wife was brave enough to order the Seafood platter and was served several closed clamps and other unsavory pieces of seafood. The pillows are hard as stone - but the coffee is quite OK. ☕😅 We only drank water, soda and coffee from the dispensers and did not have any stomach problems. By far the worst vacation we have ever been on. Stay away.

The hotel has potential, but is negated by bad managerial decisions. We were here as a family of 4 for 2 week vacation in July. We got a 2-bedroom room, but only one had AC and only one had windows! Towel change is only advertised as bi-daily, but was random. There are a lot of pool, which is great, but pool towel not only require a 10 EUR deposit, but if you want them changed (over 2 week period it's a must), it costs 2 euro. Other hotels offer this as standard every day for free. The water park has some nice slides, but they only operate some of them at a time and I injured my foot on the internal joint of one of the slides which was sharp. Wave is a joke - it barely works. And The park only operates 10:30-17:00, exactly the times it's the hottest outside, so you can't really enjoy the wateroark when The wetaher is not super hot. The worst thing is the food. It's really hard to choose something that is not hard or burnt. Variety is minimal and they just changed how desserts work - you need to queue 10 minutes to get a dessert because now they are gates by a sever instead of self-service. This only increased the queue to actually enter the restaurant. Snacks are terrible, the only reasonable snack is a gyros, but those run out quickly. There is a beach bus to get you to the beach, but in only runs till 6pm, so you can't stay at the beach after the sun stopped its death rays without the need to walk back to the hotel. Hotel Website says they offer a gym, but it's a joke too - it's one of those outside "gyms" with no weights, not proper equipment and not a/c. On the upside the Animation team is fantastic, a lot of things happening for all ages and in general the staff is nice and helpful. Parking situation is ok-ish.

Good: Clean, tidy, good staff, very safe, nice family vibe. Well maintained on the surface. OK: Food is average, very repetitive, Bars and Snacks don't open till 11. So no poolside drinks, not even soft drinks. Bad: They really should deep clean the toilets, ensure every toilet door has a working lock. I don't expect to get to the Al a'carte Burger restaurant to simply get the main restaurant food in a different location. It's not much better at the Italian restaurant either. The Greek restaurant looks great but is hardly used as no one goes their twice. So poor is the selection on offer and over cooked, dried out meat is impossible to consume. The food is very average overall and lacks variety and imagination. Meat is often very over cooked. Recommendations: Fix the food quality, fix the menu choice, make the bookable restaurants truly different to the main menu restaurant. Sort the toilets. We won't come back, but many others do. This place has huge potential if it just fixes the easily solved problems it has.

Just got home from our first family holiday to Caretta beach holiday village. We had 7 nights all inclusive and can say we didnt have a bad moment. Staff were great, they made it so fun, they interacted with the kids so well and the kids had their favourites, for the food court staff, the bar staff, the lifeguards, the dancers they were amazing with the kids. Take all reviews with a pinch of salt, but we'll go back again and hopefully see our friends again. Rooms cleaned daily, loads of pools, various locations for drinks on site, little shop on site, evening entertainment (kids disco fun), evening fun fair (pay for each thing, but still worth it). And of course the water park, plenty of space to get a tan, slides alternate on and off but still the time will fly by. Fingers crossed back next year.

We are a family of five with small children all under 8 years old. The resort was safe and family friendly. We had a great experience at the checking in. The staff was so helpful and welcoming. The room we had was large, spacious and clean. The various pools and waterslides were clean, safe and at the water park were constantly monitored by multiple life guards. The water park opens at 10:30 am (June hours) and closed at 5:00 pm promptly. In the morning there was always a line up at least 10-15 mins prior to opening to get beach chairs and umbrellas. Overall the food was good with many options. This resort is very close to the airport if arriving by plane. We drove after taking the ferry from Agios Nikolaos in the north and the drive was about 45 minutes. Overall, the family was very happy and satisfied with this resort.

The Poseidon Beach Hotel in Laganas is a family-friendly beachfront resort with modest rooms and a laid-back atmosphere. The hotel features two outdoor pools, including a hot tub, and offers all-inclusive options. Guests can enjoy buffet dining, poolside snack bars, and a cocktail bar on site. The rooms are equipped with private bathrooms, air conditioning, and flat-screen TVs with sea views.
Some rooms are very small 417, being one of them, and have an inside balcony which you can't sit on or open curtains as it is directly opposite the lift. Staff extremely helpful and friendly Hotel clean and food what you would expect from a 3 star hotel. Love staying at this hotel and have done for a number of years.

All inclusive food choices were very bland. The sweets were excellent. The alcoholic drinks were not alcoholic. 17 beers from the bar at the pool in one afternoon left me stone cold sober. ( I was proving a point ) The location could not be better.
David M — Google review
When we arrived here it looked good. But when we got to our room we were stunned, as just the absolute bare minimum was there. No drawers. Sink was in the bedroom. No kettle. No pictures on the wall just basic. Well, the food was awful. Nothing was tasty it was all very bland. It was only just warm although their was a microwave! The staff, one or two were nice jolly but all others were so miserable especially the lady doing the fresh omelettes. Outside around the pool we had to have all thin plastic cups and I mean thin. The alcohol was rubbish talk about watered down. Honestly you had to pay extra for kettle, aircon, safe and internet🫤. Shocking I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The only good thing was it was on the beach. Entertainment was zero. Rubbish. I understand it’s coming to the end of the season on the resort but it felt like we had the worst of everything. Bad rooms, bad staff, bad food, beer you even had to pay for your beds on their own private beach. You couldn’t even get a hot drink after 11 o’clock!

An amazing hotel and staff in an absolutely fantastic location. Out of party season so no noise. We had booked 5 rooms as there was 10 of us and on arrival at the hotel they upgraded 3 rooms to a villa which was brilliant as it meant that all 10 of us were able to spend quality time together. The resort is amazing, the food is great with enough to choose from to suit all and any picky eater, there was entertainment in the evening if you wanted it. All in all I would 100% recommend this hotel, thanks to everyone for a fantastic and relaxing holiday. Michelle from Norwich, UK

To start with the good. The hotel sits in an excellent location, quite literally taking under a minute to reach the beach. Also there are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Unfortunately, that’s where the good ends. The food offered by the hotel could only be described as dull and miserable. Grey meats and stale bread. Tasteless dessert and unseasoned sides. The lunch and breakfast buffet, were by my impression almost the exact same every day. Not that the dinner had much variety either. The drinks and beers offered by the bar were insults. Drinks were made with cheap knock-off spirits, and mixed with bad sodas. The beer tasted watered down, and was like the drinks served in small 0,25L plastic cups. Moreover the staff seemed irritated, which I would find understandable having to serve the crap they did. It also seemed like the staff were working the whole day, without many breaks. We were unable to get the two rooms we had ordered from the start, since the toilets were broken. The one we got was old and crammed. For staying there 3 nights we got a measly 45€ discount. The actual rooms we had ordered were poorly cleaned, had barely working showers. Missed simple things like a toilet paper stand, or a working AC. Returning to the staff. They were helpful enough, but nothing more than that. Not to their fault, as I can imagine the poor treatment they must get, if this is how guests are treated. In conclusion: stay away

The hotel is beautiful. The staff are very helpful and kind. I can not fault the hotel at all. The food was great my girls are very picky and they did not go hungry. You can get food from 8am till 9pm as there is a snack bar that runs from 10am-6pm and the restaurant is Breakfast 8-10 Lunch 12.30-2.30 Dinner 7pm-9pm The entertainment on a night is ok. The cocktails list is good for an all inclusive.

Amazing stay at Poseidon Hotel! The all-inclusive service was excellent with plenty of delicious food and drinks. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool area was relaxing, and the location is perfect, just a short walk from the beach and close to everything in Laganas. Highly recommended for a stress free holiday!
Konstantina F — Google review
I recently stayed at this hotel and, while the location is truly exceptional—with easy access to the beach and attractions (10/10 for that!)—the overall experience left much to be desired. Unfortunately, the rooms are noticeably outdated and do not meet the standards you’d expect for the price. There was no kettle provided, which was disappointing given how basic an amenity it is these days. The air conditioning is available only at an extra charge, which adds up quickly. To make matters worse, the WiFi is not free and was practically unusable during my stay. The food was one of the most underwhelming aspects. It was repetitive and lacked taste, with limited options such as chicken nuggets, pasta in various forms, and meats (pork, fish, beef) all doused in generic sauces. Drinks labeled as alcoholic barely had any alcohol in them, and the instant coffee was honestly undrinkable. Sunbed situation was frustrating: the free ones by the pool are all snatched up before dawn (people claim them as early as 5-6 AM). If you want sunbeds on the beach, expect to pay €20 for the privilege—and that doesn’t even include any drinks or amenities. Alternatively, a bit further down towards the marina, you can use beach beds for free if you commit to spending at least €30 on drinks and food. Service didn’t help redeem our stay. When I requested an ashtray, I was handed a paper cup, which felt dismissive and a bit unprofessional. To top it off, we booked a taxi to Zante Water Park via the reception and were quoted €30. Ten minutes later, the receptionist told us the new price was €45, but at the destination, the driver demanded €50! On the way back, we hailed a taxi directly at the water park and paid just €30—the original rate, without any hassle. Overall, aside from the superb location, I can’t recommend this hotel. With outdated rooms, underwhelming facilities, sub-par food, unreliable service, and lots of hidden or extra charges, it doesn’t offer good value for money. There are better options in the area if you’re seeking a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Hotel Palatino is a charming property located in a serene area near the city center of Zakynthos. The rooms and suites are elegantly decorated, offering views of the Ionian Sea or the surrounding mountains from their balconies. Guests can enjoy amenities such as air conditioning, cable TV, and Wi-Fi. The hotel's cafe/bar serves American breakfast in the mornings and Mediterranean specialties made with fresh ingredients in the evenings.
Very happy we stayed here, good location only a few minutes from town. All staff very friendly and professional. The best breakfast we had in our 2 week trip. Just over the road from a pebbly beach but there are two points on the way into town where you can access the sea for those that like a swim. A good choice

An excellent hotel, not too close to the city center but allowing an easy walk to its main attractions. Very positive is the existence of sufficient parking lots for hotel guests, and the breakfast was appropriate. When we come next time to Zakynthos we will come again to the Palatino.

stayed at this hotel for two nights and had a great experience. First of all, it’s located in the city center, which is very convenient. The price is very reasonable for Zakynthos Island. Additionally, the rooms are clean and spacious. We booked a sea view room, and the view was fantastic. The hotel’s breakfast was also quite good, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. They quickly assisted us with things like booking a car. If you’re visiting Zakynthos, I highly recommend staying here.”

To me everything was 5 stars. From the staff to the rooms the cleaning the food in the morning. As far as the hotel goes even the elevator was spacious and smooth didnt have to wait long. The only small problems was with the salted water at the bathroom but that is not in the control of the hotel. Also the cars outside that pollute the air but also not in the hotels control. The staff was even nice to give us 1 free breakfast and hooked us up with private transport. The location is good close to the center and to the beach which is ah not so great but ok. So i have nothing to say negatively to the hotel not even in the slighest which in some other hotels in greece there was always one minus. Ah and the rooms are very very spacious having everything you need even a bathtub. Its not a cheap hotel but worth every penny in my eyes. Ah and the balcony? Spacious as well. The hotel doesnt have a swimming pool but for us it doesnt matter.

All 5 star to the Hotel Palatino in Zakynthos for taking care of the Jewish people and saving them all during holocaust times. Hope they continue to do even better and control the island by themselves. Zakynthos ( Zante) is a very important place as one of the islands and places in the Mediterranean where Romaniote Jews lived. The biggest Greek flag in the world is there too. People are very helpful and the Greek taverna food and the fresh fish are very tasty. View around the island ( as far as we travelled mainly on the east and south coast) is absolutely pure green and blue. 😁 Beautiful. We loved the island. Thanks to everybody we met.😁

Nestled in the heart of Chora, Margarita Hotel is a delightful all-inclusive retreat that beautifully blends traditional charm with modern comforts. This converted 19th-century mansion features stunning flagstone floors and stone arches, creating an inviting atmosphere. Guests can unwind in the lush gardens or enjoy refreshing drinks at one of the two bars while soaking up the sun by one of the two pools. The hotel offers cozy accommodations equipped with Wi-Fi, ensuring a comfortable stay for everyone.
We had a wonderful time at this hotel which began with our greeting on arrival from Helen on reception so friendly and a great start. Then we met the exuberant and charismatic Nicholas who was fun and the kind and smiley Hope all of whom made it more special. The adult pool was just fantastic. Never busy and often virtually had it to ourselves. The food was lovely, enough variety to suit the group but favourites were repeated too. We feel that although the staff did their best and often with a smile the system for getting drinks could he improved. There were too many long queues which didn't work for the customer or staff. That said this family run hotel ( with the owners clearly around) is a terrific place to spend a very happy week as we did. Thank you to you all from a cool 18° back in Yorkshire.

Lovely hotel and Staff. Good fresh food everyday some hotels have more choice but this wasn't a bad thing as it was so fresh and tasty each time. Good room sizes especially the superior overlooking the the pools. Local alcohol for cocktails was not very strong, But always easy to grab a drink. Cocktails not served until 4pm. Good location but would still hire a car to get around. Would reccomend this hotel

Just back from a week in this hotel. When we arrived we found the room was dated and need refurbishment but it was very clean and comfortable. They also have a couple of blocks of new rooms which look really good. The dining room is a bit basic but they had good choices of food even for me as a vegetarian. All the staff in the hotel are excellent, very friendly and helpful. The music in the evening was good and the hotel is in an excellent location. Zante town is just a bus ride away. The bus stop is just at the end of the road but check bus times for coming back as they aren't very frequent. The beach is a ten minute walk away.

This was quite frankly the nicest hotel I've been at for quite some time. The hotel was spotlessly clean with comfortable rooms and wonderful staff, so friendly and helpful. the food was so good, not a huge, huge selection, but plenty to choose from and all fresh and delicious. we filled up on thick, creamy Greek yogurt with nuts, fruit and honey for breakfast; fresh delicious and tasty salads for lunch and 'home cooked' dinners full of flavour. If we got peckish in-between, there were yummy burgers, hot dogs, chips and sandwiches at the pool bar. The swimming pools were lovely, always easy to get a lounger and find shade or sun, whichever we fancied. the hotel was only a few minutes walk from the main shops and beach, but we found ourselves staying in the hotel most evenings as the entertainment was so good. We loved it there and will definitely be back.

We came here on a girls holiday, we were aware it’s a family hotel however we were looking a resort which was relaxed during the day. The staff were so lovely and the food was amazing , there is three pools which means it is never overly crowded or busy. The hotel is roughly a 15 minute walk from the strip which is also very convenient. The hotel is very clean and the nighttime entertainment is also good. This is not a party hotel !! However if you are looking for somewhere relaxing during the day then this hotel is perfect. Couldn’t be any happier with the service provided

Positive side: - Food; fresh, tasty, varied, - Swimming pools: 3 (2 normal and 1 exclusive for superior rooms which is odd), - Location, - Staff that is friendly, Negative side: - The floor in the rooms is not cleaned during your stay, therefore it is quite dirty at the end of the stay. - The plumbing is poorly installed, causing water to spill out of the drain onto the floor after prolonged sleep, and an unpleasant odor to emanate from the bathroom after dark. Furthermore, you can't flush toilet paper directly into the toilet, as tourists are said to be causing the drain to clog. - It is quite noisy during the night as most of the guests do not respect the night silence and the staff doesn't monitor it. To sum up, considering the money spent - completely not worth it. If it was -30% cheaper as other hotels in the neighbourhood (with apparently the same standard) it would be ok.

Zante Plaza Hotel & Apartments is a casual all-inclusive accommodation in Zakynthos Town, conveniently located near Dionisios Solomos Square and the Port of Zakynthos. The hotel offers modernized rooms with good bathrooms and sea-view balconies, making it a great choice for a family holiday. While it's situated near the lively strip, the hotel is aimed at younger guests looking to have fun.
From start to finish, our experience at the Zante Plaza Hotel was absolutely incredible. The staff were so friendly, welcoming, and always went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed. Especially Pano who spoke perfect English and made our stay perfect. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything you’d expect from a great holiday hotel. The location is perfect — just a short walk to the beach and right in the heart of Laganas, close to all the best bars, restaurants, and shops. Despite being so central, the hotel felt safe and peaceful, especially around the pool area which was spotless and a great place to relax during the day. The food was very good, with plenty of variety and fresh options every day. We especially enjoyed the themed dinner nights and the drinks available at the all-inclusive bar. Special thanks to the entertainment team — they brought great energy and made our evenings so much fun. Whether you’re visiting with friends or family, Zante Plaza Hotel offers great value, a friendly vibe, and unforgettable memories. Highly recommend — we’ll definitely be coming back!

We had a lovely stay at Zante Plaza Hotel & Apartments. It’s a great value for money overall. The food was good, with a decent variety, and the cocktails were enjoyable too. Being on the all-inclusive package, we appreciated having drinks available from 11:00 to 23:00. The highlight for us was having access to three different hotel pools, which made it easy to find a nice spot to relax throughout the day. We also had access to food and drinks at two of the hotel’s locations, which added flexibility. The location is excellent — just a short 2-minute walk to the beach in Laganas, and there are plenty of bars and souvenir shops nearby if you’re in the mood to explore a bit. Nothing fancy, but everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing holiday.

Hotel is above the normal 3=4 star tourist hotel. Rooms are spacious, cleaned every day ,bedding changed daily, staff are excellent and friendly at all times , food for an all inclusive is above the usual standard, drinks are what you expect at an all inclusive hotel= not the worse but certainly not the best but the bar staff are excellent, friendly and helpful. Located within 4min walk to either the Laganas strip or the beach . The reception desk is staffed by extremely knowledgeable and very helpful friendly people. Would definitely recommend this place and if budget is one of your priorities = definitely consider booking here.

I've just come back from my holiday, it was amazing! The staff was extremely helpful, a special thanks to the boss, Mr Vasilis Coutsioumpas. He gave me a lovely recipe for cake, and the food was amazing, everything was fresh, loads of dill, salad, cake, lovely dinner. If you're a fussy eater, you've got lots of options. The hotel is near to the beach, when you're on the beach on the left side its all sand and crystal clear water. If you'd like to visit its an amazing place for family or adults, with a large swimming pool, 24hr restaurants, drinks, coffee, juice. And everthying is nice and amazing!! I'd love to go again next year. Anna 21/09/2025 - I came back two weeks ago. Thank you to everyone.

Staff were good especially the bartenders. The food is decent there’s a theme every night and two locations: the restaurant and the snack bar. You can get drinks all day and closes at 11 which is perfect for pre drinks. There are two pools, both shallow however was warm and large to swim in. Location is perfect with minute walk to the beach and two minute walk to the strip. Our room was lovely with the balcony was next to the pool. There is a damage list so I would be careful. Although some of the guests have no respect and leave their rubbish everywhere including the pool, sunbeds, tables, etc the staff are so good at cleaning it up they make it look presentable and are hardworking. There are plenty of sunbeds for everyone to chill. When I went the boy ratio was massive compared to girls. There are security at night so you can’t sneak people in and they control noise levels aswell.

The disappointment started the moment we arrived. The hotel was supposed to have parking. We parked near the entrance of the hotel and the reception told us to move the car and we were informed that the hotel offered no parking even though in booking it says that they have free parking!! The assigned room had no similarities at all with the one we booked. We told the staff about this but they were telling us that the other rooms were much worse than this. We stayed only because we couldn't find another place to go. The room had probably never been deep cleaned. Beds had piles of accumulated dust on the sides and fresh bed sheets never once smelled fresh. Regarding cleaning, we are concerned for the staff because they used acid, which was eye burning when we entered the room. Also there was a terrible smell because of a swamp or something nearby. So the whole building constantly smelled like sewers. Also, all around the room we have encountered a concerning amount of ants. We don't know if noises were the same for all rooms but on ours there was a terrible sound coming from the failed bathroom plumbing system. Whenever neighbors flushed their toilet, our bathroom made a frightening sound. Regarding the food, it wasn't good it was inedible. The only somewhat decent meal was breakfast. There were no slippers, the Air Conditioning was very old and inefficient at cooling our room, the bed sheet, towels, pillow cases were all stained. They will charge you an absurd amount of money if you damage something(most of the things in the room were old and on the verge of breaking so we told the staff so we don't get charged for something that we didn't do so keep that in mind) The front door didn't close properly. They offered 3 swimming pools that were just for kids and very small and in different buildings across the road. Same for the snacks, you had to cross the road and go to a different building to have the meal. The cocktails and other drinks were very watered down and didn't have any taste at all. Also all drinks were kept open (even the fizzy off brand soft drinks) and in room temperature !! Regarding themed nights, foods were the same everyday with a difference of 2 or 3 dishes, which doesn't make the food "themed". The bed's were rock hack and with springs and bery very uncomfortable to get a good night sleep. So just spend your money somewhere else. It's not worth it !!

We visited Zante plaza as a family of four, our youngest being 7. We sadly missed a day and a half due to the issues at Birmingham airport. On arrival the hotel was clean and tidy and all the staff were very friendly and attentive. We were shown to our room (210) in the main hotel. Our balcony overlooked the pool and restaurant. The beds were comfy, there was a kettle, cups, glasses, a fridge and we paid extra for the Aircon - glad we did. They have a list of cocktails at the bar and a range of different spirits, beer and wine. They have two machines for orange, apple, pineapple juice and water as well as two coffee machines that can be accessed 24/7. Breakfast and lunch is served in the main hotel and you can choose between the main restaurant and the open bar for your evening meal. The open bar hosts the theme nights, we tried BBQ, mexican and traditional greek food across the open bar. My youngest son is incredibly picky but we could always find him something to eat. There's 3 pools available, one is in the courtyard of the main hotel, theres one as you come out of the hotel turn left follow it to the spa and go thru the arch way and the other is near the open bar which is across the road down the side of Jimmy's market and turn left. I noticed a lot of the younger tourist used the pool by the open bar. We did have issues with some of the younger guests making noise past curfew and early in the morning. If the older lady (sorry didn't catch your name) is on the check in guest then she seems to sort them out. Big shout out and thank you to the main chap behind the hotel bar, the lovely lady at the open bar, the lovely lady who worked in the main restaurant and had her birthday and the hardworking cleaners ❤️ Other info If you come out of the hotel down the ramp and turn left down the road next to the hotel you walk directly onto the main strip. If you turn right and follow the road round the bend you'll get to the sea. If you are travelling with family there's nothing really to do in the evening. We did enjoy the bingo and greek night though. We used the tour place at the bottom of the road and went on a private tour of Zante which we enjoyed. Highly recommend visiting the little farm and supporting them the animals are all so friendly and we enjoyed ourselves Cameo island is €5 each to visit but you get 3 keyrings with your picture

We have been there twice before and it was an excellent family hotel with incredible staff and service. It still has excellent staff and service but sadly, young drug kids who show no respect for other guests with drunken disrespectful behaviour seems to have now taken over, such a shame.

Cactus Hotel is a family-run apartment hotel located near Laganas' vibrant nightlife. The hotel offers unfussy units with kitchenettes, an outdoor pool, and a cocktail bar. Guests can enjoy continental breakfast, billiards, and table tennis on-site. Additionally, the hotel provides services such as laptop and tablet rental, laundry facilities, and car rental to facilitate island exploration.
Here is my experience wit h them: 1. Laganas is a noisy location (3/5), however they managed to create an island of silence (5/5), so average is 4/5. 2. Rooms: excellent (5/5). Spacious, clean, well furbished. 3. Team: excellent at all levels, I've never received a negative answer. 4. Service: excellent. Very clean rooms, linen and towels changed completely every day (be sincere, how many 4* hotels do you remember having done this ?), great selection of food for breakfast, bar well garnished for all tastes, large, nice and clean pools (they are 2), free private parking. 4* to 5 * services for 3* prices. Unbeatable! Thank you Dennis and team!

Like an oasis in the busy Laganas area. We were looking for a hotel from where we could explore the island. We found that the staff went out of their way to help us and handled our every request kindly and promptly. Arranging dinner reservations, making it possible to charge an electric car, and other small things. We felt welcome and at home. The hotel offers a decent sized pool with a pool bar (and some excellent cocktails). The newly renovated room felt modern and cosy. Private parking (behind a gate) is available.

The location of the hotel is very good. The rooms are nice and clean, but we had a very, very bad smell in the bathroom sometimes and this was very bothering. The pool is clean and the water was perfect. Personal of the hotel is very nice and they help you everytime that you ask anything. The breakfast is very poor. The parking place is okay, for 20 cars

Staff was amazing, fulfilled all wishes. Received a map which was full of awesome recommendations! Breakfast was very good. They were able to provide gluten-free options as well! Pool never too crowded, comfortable sunbeds. Location very good. Close to the strip and beach, but in calmer street. Fitness room well equipped. Beds were very comfy, balcony was spacious, very good aircon, hangers for clothes, easy to use safe deposit box.

Amazing hotel. Had one slight issue with the air conditioning in my room on the first night and they could not quickly fix it so they moved me to another much nicer room in the morning, and they were very helpful, kind and apologetic through the whole ordeal. Extremely friendly, always smiling faces on every worker, they provided lots of good recommendations at check in and really took their time to help a first time visitor feel at home. The room was comfortable and quiet even though the hotel is in a busy area. Common areas were very nice. Breakfast was good with a variety of different foods. Incredible value for the money, I will definitely stay again if back in Zakynthos

The Diana Hotel Zakynthos is a well-maintained establishment located near the beach, featuring a rooftop pool and bar, as well as a breakfast buffet. Situated just north of the main square, this hotel caters to business travelers and has recently added a rooftop garden with a swimming pool and bar. Accommodation ranges from modest rooms to luxurious balcony suites with modern bathrooms. Additionally, it offers stylish contemporary rooms in central Zante Town with a pool and small balconies overlooking the village.
We visited the Hotel with our kids and friends. Very impressed! Everyone working at the hotel was so welcoming. The staff made our stay feel really personal. For what we paid, it was a great value--good quality without being overpriced. We really enjoyed breakfast every morning--fresh, tasty, and a good variety. The rooms were recently renovated and had a stylish, local feel to them. Simple, but very comfortable and nicely done.

We had such a wonderful stay at this hotel! The rooms were absolutely amazing , super clean, spacious, and very comfortable, even with the kids. It was such a relief to have enough room for everyone to move around and sleep comfortably. The beds were a dream! One of the biggest highlights for us was the food ! So much variety every single day and everything we tried was delicious. Breakfast, lunch, dinner — it was all spot on. Definitely a place we’d come back to!

Lovely hotel in brilliant location with super friendly staff. Rooftop bar and pool excellent - shout out to Takis, good bloke. Excellent and wide ranging breakfast choices. Cleaning staff and reception also great. My room faced inward so balcony rather irrelevant. The extract fans for five or six air con units pumped into the space so inadvisable to have the window open. Otherwise a great stay.

What an amazing Hotel! Our room had that charming local Zakynthian style, but everything was modern and newly renovated. The highlight, though, was the rooftop pool—amazing views and a super relaxing vibe. What stood out most was how clean everything was—our room, the lobby, even the pool area. And you can’t beat the location—walking distance to everything in Zakynthos Town. Super convenient!

Get what you pay for kind of hotel: budget friendly hotel - Friendly, welcoming staff - Location is great - in the centre of Zante Town with walking access to local buses, taxi ranks, restaurants and bars. - Breakfast OKAY - usually enough options but can be hit & miss with hot food options - Small pool area with no sunbeds - only 3 upright style hammock chairs due to small area, but nice small pool with a nice view over the city - can get easily crowded. Pool towels offered at no extra cost. - Room was a decent enough size with balcony - had a strange smell and shower was quite leaky - shower gel and shampoo conditioner provided. Overall satisfactory for 4 night stay.

The hotel was amazing! The rooms very clean and comfy and staff very professional and friendly. The roof garden was our favorite place to hang ou--gorgeous views, a lovely pool, and chill music. The cocktails and snacks were suprisingly great too! A prefect way to relax after a day exploring the island. A special mention to Ian who helped us to book our trips and Irini who is an amazing person!

Filoxenia Hotel Zakynthos is a charming hotel that offers an outdoor pool, cocktail bar, and buffet restaurant with a great breakfast selection. It's ideal for those seeking peace and tranquility while having the opportunity to explore the island at their own pace. The hotel provides a variety of tasty dishes, including local specialties that change daily.
Just enjoyed a wonderful 10 days here! The hotel is lovely with bright clean rooms, sunny pools, a great restaurant serving lovely traditional Greek recipes and well stocked bars! The staff are all lovely and friendly, but Maria in particular is an absolute credit to the hotel! Nothing was ever too much trouble and her recommendations throughout our stay elevated our experiences 10 fold!!
Abby G — Google review
Filoxenia is best described as modest. It doesn't have much, but what it does have, it does well. Not a bad hotel if you just want to eat, drink, and lounge. It is made up of two areas separated by a dirt road, each area has a pool and rooms. One area has the reception, and the other has the bar, restaurant etc. The whole hotel was very clean and tidy. Our room was based in the area attached to the reception. The room was nice and modern. But like with many modern showers and basins, they do not drain well. The bathroom would flood partially after each shower, this was an inconvenience. We had two single beds pushed together (I'm not sure if we had the opportunity to chose a single king or queen bed), and one of the beds had the tendency to move away from the other, which was another inconvenience. There was no way to lock this bed in place. The mattresses were of the firm spring type, which I didn't like. That being said, I made do, and I didn't bother asking if I could be given a foam mattress topper. I also understand that you have to pay for AC, it's something like 10 EUR a day. It wasn't hot enough for me to ask about this, but if it is 10 EUR then I think that is a lot. The restaurant was okay. The food was good. The selection was on the smaller side, but this makes sense considering the size of the hotel. This didn't bother me as I eat almost everything. As the restaurant is a buffet, you have to squeeze past other tables with food in your hands to get to your table which is a inconvenience. And that's about it. The staff are friendly, polite, and helpful. It's about a 25 min walk from the hotel to the beach. 15 min walk to town.

The staff were incredibly helpful and chatty when asked questions, the pools were fantastic and the food delicious. I'm particularly grateful to Dennis for helping me out with a wardrobe malfunction just before a wedding. The TV wasn't working but to be honest we wouldn't really have used it much when we had our phones and tablets. I highly recommend this hotel and hope we get the chance to go again some day.
Rob K — Google review
Beautiful hotel, second time being here, about a 15-minute walk into town. We had family rooms with two bedrooms. Food was not loads of choice, but it was fresh and hot, and you could find something every night. The only thing that would put me off going again is no none smoking area, and every night by the bar there was a couple that just chain-smoked, and I came home with an awful cough. But otherwise i would go again i adore Zante and the people are just so nice friendly 😀 ❤️

Absolutely loved our stay at the filoxenia, me and my wife Sophia were looked after so well. The food was amazing, the pool was lovely and the location was brilliant. The front desk staff were super knowledgeable and helpful, giving us tips for the area and made out stay super enjoyable! Will definitely be returning!
Fred V — Google review
Let's start with the positives. The staff are lovely, apart from the girl on reception who was extremely rude on more than one occasion. The food was ok and our plates were always full. Our room was cleaned daily. As for the hotel, awful. We'd booked a 2-bedroom room which, on arrival, we found out was on the old part of the hotel so didn't look like any of the pictures as they were taken in the refurbished side. The room was grotty, and the bathroom floor got wet as water and bubbles came through the drain on the floor. The seated area was tiny and comprised of a settee big enough for 2 people so it's not good if your family is larger. Outside the large pool was ok but the kids' pool was surrounded by a concrete wall that was boiling to the touch which is not ideal for a kids' pool. The hotel is situated outside of town on a really busy main road which again is not ideal if you have younger children. All in all, I would not recommend this hotel
Jane G — Google review
We didn’t expect much, but this hotel really surprised us in the best way. The hotel was very clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They even gave us tips on the best places to visit. There was plenty of parking available, which was great. Other than that, we had all-inclusive (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), and there were always plenty of choices: pasta, salads, tzatziki which was delicious. One day, the chef made gyros with pork, and when we mentioned we don’t eat it, he kindly made a special version for us without meat ,filled with fries and salad inside. It was honestly very tasty. The rooms were very clean, and the staff kept everything tidy. The balcony was quite spacious and comfortable, and the TV had channels in both English and German. What I didn’t like was the bed situation, the double bed is actually two singles pushed together. You have to be careful at night not to fall between them. Still, the bed itself was comfortable overall. The location is a bit far from the town around 10 minutes by car to the center and some touristy beach spots were even further. But to be fair, in general, most tourist destinations in the area are quite spread out from each other, so that’s something to keep in mind. I also believe there was also transport available to get to town or the beach if needed from the hotel. The pool was really nice, but one thing that bothered me was how people ,not just from the other side of the hotel, but even from our side would come early in the morning, leave their towels on sunbeds to “reserve” them, and then disappear for hours. Some wouldn’t even use the pool at all until much later in the day, which felt a bit disrespectful to other guests. I think it would help if the hotel had a policy to remove towels from unused sunbeds after a certain time, and also add more sunbeds overall. For what we paid, it was totally worth it and with a couple of small fixes, I’d be excited to come back.

After thirty years of visiting the island we have stayed in lots of different accommodation and this time it's been a pleasure. Are room is cleaned everyday and the beds are made which is a big thing for us . There's a lovely big pool which is kept clean and the views all around are beautiful. The restaurant has a good range of food so you will always find something you like. The staff are very friendly and work really hard , we can't fault them they are so lovely . We have heard a few moans( the weather , the star rating, to quite !!!) from a couple of people but this is Greece roll with and enjoy it . We are coming back in September 😊

If you are looking for somewhere quiet to relax and enjoy time out then you can't go wrong. We have just spent a week at Keri Village and it was great. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. The food was really nice and the rooms clean and with great air con which we needed as it was wall to wall sunshine and in the mid 30s. The on site mini bus goes down to the beach several times a day(free) and its only 10 minutes away. We hired a car and a small speed boat and it was reasonably priced. Thanks for a great time. Mick

We returned on 1/7/25 I gave 5 stars for the rooms the only thing that was a little disappointing was the shower it was small. The rooms were cleaned every day and towels changed, the bed was comfy. The service was fantastic we spent two weeks there and everyone was so friendly. I dont get some people moaning you treat people how you would like to be treated. The food was fresh and the menu only started to repeat its self on our last two days. All of the staff were happy and smiling. The location is beautiful and peaceful the views are stunning. Entertainment was on three nights of the week and there's a minibus that can take you into the village. The age of guests ranged from mid twenties/ forties /sixties. If you just want to chill sit back and relax this is for you We loved it so much we have booked to go back again in September for a week

The first impression of the hotel from the outside was this looks amazing the view is stunning the outside is keep to a high standard. The room was very basic and definitely needs to be updated to fit in with the outside. The Tv was tiny for the size of the room and the bed was very uncomfortable to sleep on. The air conditioning was not working and you couldn’t get WiFi in the room.i work in hospitality and know what the basic requirements are that need to be met for the guests to have a comfortable stay unfortunately this was not met here. The staff was amazing very helpful and very welcoming a big thank you to them. The food was of poor quality and needs fresh ideas and not serve near the same things every day. We had to dine out everyday at extra costs when we paid for all inclusive I wanted to drink a bottle of sparking water from a bottle was denied by bar staff and poured in to a cup and the rest of the water was put back. Sparkling water does not stay fresh for long so was a waste The pool was freezing cold

The most relaxing holiday I’ve ever been on. Ok so if you’re looking for a relaxing setting with nothing to worry about other than what cocktail you’re having and what SPF sun screen you’re wearing - this is the place for you. If you’re looking for somewhere to sleep while you hit the clubs - this is not the place for you. Room was fine - and surprisingly spacious, a little dated yes but super clean and daily towel changes, cleaned every day I think. Pool is lovely and refreshing - I found it closed just a tad early, I always wanted just a little longer (closed at 6pm daily) Drinks were all inclusive - however somewhat weak on the abv - lovely for casual sipping throughout the day - if it’s drunk you’re looking for you’ll get there…… eventually 😂 Food - very good quality I found myself with ample to eat, there’s snacks between meals There’s not a huge selection compared to other all inclusive hotels but what was on offer was of a great quality Staff - very helpful and friendly, really pleasant people. Entertainment - some nights were better than others, some nights had none at all and I really did miss that on the Friday and Saturday night All in all, we will be back!

Just to point out its a spa retreat . Some people missed that when booking. It's also at the top of a big hill ,not quite a mountain but you're legs will think it is if you venture out on foot. I loved the place ,great staff ,great food ,great pool great rooms great massage in the spa,. No banging music, no drunk residents, no pool activities, it's a retreat!. Absolutely brilliant. It was everything we needed. Now if you're not totally able bodied you may struggle with the multi levels and getting in and out the pool. The pool is deep but so clean and clear. No nasty chemicals as far as I could tell. Plenty of sunbeds but if the owners reads this you may want to invest in some new parasols, you're old ones are a bit worn. Alcohol, drink as much as you like as you can't get drunk on it. Saying that the red wine is the exception. 2 glasses and I was in need of assistance. Free shuttle bus to the local seaside town . Free pickup to some local restaurants if you fancy a change of scenery and food. Hire a car if you get itchy feet. Say hi to the standby fire fighters based near the entrance. Respect to the life guard. She does a great job keeping everyone safe in and around the pool . The pool bar staff are great at keeping you hydrated and there's yoga a few time a week. Many return customers.

It's definitely a budget hotel. Large room with a great balcony. Cooking facilities are normal for Greece, but certainly usable. Very good shower and air-conditioning. Small but good pool. Service at the bar was quick and friendly. This is a family hotel, right in the middle of the main street in Kalamaki. It's not a 5 star residence, so don't expect modernity. However, for a family, on a budget, it has everything you need. Great price and, therefore, fantastic value.

We had to stay unexpectedly for one day with my husband, our child, and a couple of friends in a quadruple room. The hotel was wonderful, and the price was very reasonable for the August period we booked. The rooms, considering the price, were very satisfactory, and the pools were excellent. The service from Dimitris at the reception was truly impeccable. I definitely recommend it.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! We r 2 adults and 3 kids, this hotel was perfect for us because has a great swimming pool and they put you extra floaties for children to use for everybody, has tons of restaurant near by and a market where you can buy your groceries and snacks and it is 10 minutes walk to the beach! I couldn't ask for more, the hotel its 3 stars but for me it is 5 stars because of all the things I said above, service was great very friendly staff they make you feel welcome and help you if you find any problem, also they have a bar serve drinks and food I usually get drinks for the kids and I saw its cheaper than other bars , this place its family friendly I had a great experience I totally recomend this hotel. I will show a video of the hotel outside and the room we stayed in.

I come to Zakynthos every summer & stay at Vanessa Hotel...my stay at this hotel was absolutely delightful as usual, from the moment I checked in the staff went above & beyond to make me feel welcome, every interaction was friendly, professional & genuinely caring which set the tone for a relaxing visit...this is a family owed hotel & honestly they are all wonderful people, especially Dimitri in reception & Gina at front pool bar! The room was spotless, spacious, & the bed was exceptionally comfortable, housekeeping did an excellent job each day. The hotel’s amenities like the outdoor pool was very clean & relaxing which provided a perfect way to unwind...it's location in Kalamaki is ideal with easy access to shopping/supervmarkets/restaurants & plenty of bars, yet the hotel itself was peaceful & quiet.Overall...everything exceeded my expectations as this hotel strikes the perfect balance between comfort, service & atmosphere. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it & I look forward to returning on my next visit summer 2026!!!

If i could give 0 or -1 star I would. I don’t know how to even do this right without missing out something. Customer service- inexistent Long wait for anything- Yes Rude and aggressive owner- Yes Dirty rooms- Yes Good price-No There are few good things about this place: The British lady bartender, the pool and the fact that this was the only place available. ( I do know why) Tips, WiFi is not great

Aqua Bay Suites is a laid-back hotel perfect for active families, offering an outdoor pool, bars, and dining options. The hotel features airy rooms with balconies or terraces. It is part of a trio of hotels that share access to a private waterpark with multiple swimming pools and buffet as well as a la carte restaurants.
Fantastic holiday very friendly staff even at the end of the season. Food was hotel food but we always found something to enjoy at each sitting. As many posters have stated the water park is getting on a bit but it’s fine, not dangerous or dirty despite this being possibly the last week of the season. The WiFi is a little spotty in the apartments but still adequate for my needs. We were a party of four adults but I definitely feel this would be a great place to stay with children, a very safe feel to the place. All in all I had a wonderful stay although I feel I may have gained a few pounds!

The aqua bay hotel was great. We booked a swim up room the all-inclusive facilities were very good and all the food quality and drink was very good. You would find it hard not to pick something out at each meal and they rotated the food slightly each time with a few variations. You can walk to the beach from the hotel, although it is not directly on the beach. The shared water park next door is very fun and you get access to this with the hotel booking. Some of the walkways around the hotel are potentially dangerous and need renewing, but this did not affect my overall experience.

We spent a week in this hotel as a family of 2+2 (children aged 8 and 5). From the moment we checked in, the staff took care of us with full professionalism. We arrived in the evening, so before we checked in at the reception, we were offered dinner, which was very nice after a long journey. The entire staff is extremely helpful, nice and speaks English very well. The rooms were clean, the cleaning lady kept everything tidy every day. The beds were very comfortable, the bathroom was beautiful. The room has air conditioning, so there is no possibility of suffering from the heat. Our room had a balcony overlooking the pool. The rooms on the ground floor have private pools, which is a nice holiday option. However, there is a large water park right next to the hotel, which can be used fully on an all-inclusive basis. The food was delicious, buffet style. The dishes were repetitive, with small changes in the menu, but the selection was large and everyone could probably find something for themselves. There is always something for people who don't eat meat. However, people with allergies should be careful, because the dishes did not contain any allergens, and the canteen contained nuts and eggs. There were snack bars by the pools that served drinks, pizzas, fries, hot dogs and burgers all day long, which were really tasty. Unfortunately, the evening entertainment was not very interesting. I think the hotel could work on this. The quality of the kids club could also be improved, although the kids still enjoyed the water park. Ella restaurant gave us a feeling of a little "luxury". The service was to a very high standard and the food very tasty. I think the hotel deserves 5 stars and I can wholeheartedly recommend it! Thank you very much to all the staff for a wonderful week in Zakynthos.

We stayed mid May and had a beautiful room, if a little tight to manoeuvre around the bed. Only things to improve in the room would be moving the mirror to the desk to be able to use as vanity instead of above the mini fridge where you can’t put a chair. Also the showers don’t really get past luke warm. The private pool was lush, a really good addition to the holiday & room. Loved that it had a safety gate, staying with a toddler. This was cleaned daily too. All the staff are super friendly and helpful, really lovely service, though this did drop off as it became busier, as everyone adjusted, if they can get back to the service at the start it will be great. The water park was ace, fantastic for kids of all ages, and amazing for younger kids with lots of smaller slides and a pirate ship, fantastic to have this included. They’re clearly heading towards 5 star hotel; rooms, reception and restaurant are lovely, but there are some bits to improve, like the entertainment area, just feels a bit cheap and the bar a bit youth club esque, though this is on the water park side, also the signage around the water park bars looks a bit dated and cheap. There are some renovations/construction going on but really well concealed and didn’t affect our stay, however the toilets in the main restaurant could have done with being finished off with mirrors and last touches. Entertainment was lacking when we were there but we weren’t too fussed. The kids disco was just some loud music with a few kids on the stage, rather than kind of directed / hosted, but it did seem to liven up later on when we were back in our room, we also some some aqua aerobics going on which looked fun! There are bars, restaurants and tat shops a super short walk away, plus mini golf and bowling, which we loved mooching about in, and the beach isn’t far at all, less than ten mins, take a walk round to find nicer beach bars other than the back of the TUI blue one. Makai beach bar was lush, €20 for two Sun beds for the day with lovely service and drinks + sand and sea for the little one at your feet. The food in the main restaurant needed consistent labels on the dishes for allergens and to save waste, thought I was picking up steak and it was liver. There were non to start with, but they did start appearing after a few days but inconsisently. Lots to chose from and really tasty in the main buffet, though it did get a little repetitive. Pool side snacks were ok in the main hotel, burger bun was stale but the Greek salad was nice. There were more choice in the water park, basic but did the job. I did find them to be overly nit- picky in the water park, I asked for just cheese on bread as a sandwich and was told no it had to be toasted, making more work for them and not what we wanted, just confirmed it was the stale bread from the breakfast buffet. At the Greek night, over the way at the water park, a couple of tables had plain pasta which our son asked for, we asked the host and he made a point of ‘we don’t do that: this is the only pasta (with tomato sauce). I unfortunately had to point out another two tables which had plain pasta, either do it, or don’t. The Greek night was a let down, partly due to the wind and light rain showers but also due to the overcooked meat on the BBQ and lack of other choices, we stuck to the main restaurant and eating out after this. Cocktails were alright, obviously using non brand spirits, and some came out better than others did, they were pretty inconsistent but strong!

Currently half way through our 7 night stay at the Suites. The hotel has only just opened for the season and so finishings aren't 100% complete from any renovation work they may have done during the off season. But this hasn't impacted our stay at all. The staff are so pleasant and friendly. They will go out of there way to make your stay nice. Big shout outs to Anastasia, Paulina, Yousef and all the bar staff who are making our stay amazing. The food is excellent quality with just enough options, lots of fresh salads, fruits and cheeses - really impressed. You can book themed nights and ala carte at the waterpark which is part of your all inclusive which is a nice option. The hotel has a very chilled vibe, so if you want to relax and make your own pool games this is the place. If you want to up the energy then the waterpark is the place for you, which has all the facilities you could want, slides, kids water slides, playground, food, drinks, kids club, toilets, etc. (pools are cold) Both for day and night animation/ entertainment is based at the waterpark. The animation team are lovely people and just finding their feet, in a couple of weeks they will be a slick operation. The hotel is set back from the main town area but that suits us, it's just a short walk in and there are shops and bars galore. I would visit this hotel again for sure.

Great Stay with Excellent Service! Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Date of stay: [June 25] Trip type:Family Review: I stayed at Aqua Bay Suites in Tsilivi for 14 nights, and overall, my experience was excellent. Room: We were in room 208. The room was a good size with a double bed and 2 singles split with a dividing door for privacy if needed. There is a small safe, fridge and 2 t.v’s. We now take our fire stick away so we’re able to connect this up easily enough. The room and bed was comfortable and modern with a view over the rear gardens which was nice. Some outside noise from loud motorbikes on the Saturday night but this isn’t the hotels fault but something the local police should get a grip of. Service: The staff were friendly, helpful and attentive, they couldn’t do enough for us. A special thanks to Irki at the main bar and the other staff members. Their service was excellent and really helped make our stay all that more memorable. Maid service was also brilliant, they came every day and also brought fresh towels every evening. Location: The hotel is located off the main road in Tsilivi a 5 minute walk to the nearest beach (go out the back of the hotel take a left and follow the road down. You can then walk round the coast for the main beach which is about another 10 mins and takes you past the small marina. It is on the main road into Tsilivi and there are many shops and restaurants within a few minutes walk. Amenities: The whole of aqua bay suites it impeccably clean and well presented. You can really tell they take pride in what they do here. The waterpark is a good way to keep the kids entertained and we found it to again be clean and well kept. It is a little dated and the slides open in time slots but this wasn’t an issue. Evening entertainment wasn’t the greatest but the young kids disco was always busy. This make pickup as the season goes on. One issue is sunbeds are always taken by 8am. The hotel need to get a grip of this as unfortunately this is us brits causing this issue then moaning about it. If sunbeds are empty for 2 hours they should be freed up for people. That said the sunbeds are brilliant especially in and around the main pool. New gym which is a little small but the equipment is all there for a decent workout and all new. Value for Money: I felt the hotel was worth the price for what you get, especially considering the quality of service and included amenities. Would I return: I would gladly return and recommend this hotel based on my experience.

The property features a seasonal outdoor pool, a charming garden, and complimentary private parking. Guests can savor breakfast or drinks at the on-site bar and make use of the barbecue facilities. Although the rooms are not luxurious, they are comfortable enough for a pleasant stay.
This place is perfect as it is. Great rooms, excellent pool, the nearest beach is 2 mins by walk. The villa has a great bar where they serve food and drinks, even breakfast. Many supermarkets and restaurants are nearby. The owners are extremely kind and helpful

Overall, I would recommend. It's located near the main town (25min drive). The pool is excellent and clean, while the hotel itself is really beautiful and you enjoy sitting in the balcony at night. It has a really nice small beach in walking distance which doesn't attract too many people so our kid had the time of her life playing there. The hosts are very welcoming and nice. Nearby you have very decent choices for eating out. One major con is the bathroom in our room. It was way too small. If you are more on the plus size, i would ask if they have bigger rooms available. To wash your hands you would often touch the toilet with your leg (!). We didn't try their food, we cooked our own / ate outside. Breakfast is nothing to write home about. Cocktails were nice and you could drink them in your balcony as well. It could also use some renovation / replacing old stuff. So to recap, it has its flaws but they are not deal breaking, go for it.

I didn't stay here but we did eat at the restaurant a number of times and I think its one of the best in the area. The falafel plate was amazing, my husband said the Carbonara was up there as one of the best he has had. A couple of vegan options for me which was hard to come by in the area. Staff were lovely as well. Mango slush was heaven.

Honestly, a lovely place run by lovely people. The rooms aren't plush but are more than adequate. The pool area is a great place to soak in the sun, the food is spot on and reasonably priced, and there's a little beach two minutes away. Not a lot was open in the area when we went in early April, but a month later and I imagine there would have been a few other eating and drinking options within a short walk....but I suspect the onsite food and drink is as good as any to be found close by. For the price, I can't fault it.

The rooms walls seems to like paper, because everything sound from the neighbours came there has reach us. But if you have more money, you can reserving the seperate apartman and thats all. Apart from that, everything are ok, Angela and Alexis very kindly and correct. We will be back in the future if we get the chance.

Angela is the best host you can ever have. Very kind and happy everyday. The rooms are very clean and perfect for a nice vacation. Got new towels every 2 days. Pool is really relaxing with a good looking bar. The food is very good, especially the burger from Angela. The brother of the host brought us back to the airport with the only range rover on Zakynthos! Everything is very accessible by scooter from this accomodation. And nearby are a few good restaurants. Ask Angela for the best fish restaurant and you will have a perfect dinner at the sea close to the accomodation.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay! The rooms are beautiful, well-equipped and air-conditioned. The breakfast is regional and offers enough variety for our tastes. The service is outstanding! The cleaning staff is SO kind, helpful and left our rooms absolutely clean every day. But our personal highlight was the helpfulness and friendliness of the receptionists. We relied entirely on their suggestions and organization for our day trips and were absolutely thrilled about the results. Overall, we were impressed by the location and the great people working there.

The guesthouse was also very good, clean, great interior, perfect place close to the beach. :-)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this wonderful apartment. This apartment was everything we had hoped for. Super nice decor and a beautiful sea view. The place was perfect. On the beach. Close to the town of Laganas (4 min walk). But there is also a lot of peace and quiet. The apartment complex is surrounded with beautiful plants, which gives a nice effect to the place The manager Mary is really a super sweet woman. A warm and cordial woman who is very hospitable. She was always there for us with tips, help or just a friendly conversation. I definitely recommend this!

The reception staff is always very friendly – even when changing rooms, there were no problems at all. The first room was directly on the street, and the party area is in the immediate vicinity. Unfortunately, this place is not suitable for a cozy and relaxing vacation. If you want to party, then yes, this is the place. Breakfast is okay, but the service here is an absolute disaster and could not be more unfriendly. The food at the buffet is constantly empty and is only refilled very slowly and reluctantly. It also takes forever for the plates to be cleared away. The rooms in the hotel itself are fine, but nowhere near as nice as shown in the pictures. Unfortunately, we would not return, despite the friendly reception staff!

The staff were really great! Mary in particular helped me an incredible amount with bookings and was always available! Whether boat trips or car rental. Really an incredible relief and also very reasonable prices for the trips. I am very grateful to her for being so dedicated. The wonderful Marilena at reception was also an angel. Always a smile on her face and very helpful. Thank you all for the great hospitality of the team. It was nice to have met you. ♥️

Clean, smack on the beach, tastefully and simplistically decorated, and close to very good restaurants. Friendly staff and ok breakfast next door (ask for it, if you are missing something). Parking is easy and free.

The Peligoni Club is a charming family-run beach club located in the serene northern part of Zakynthos, Greece. It's an exclusive retreat catering to a lively crowd and prioritizes quality over quantity, offering a personalized Greek island holiday experience. Adventure seekers can indulge in various water sports and thrilling activities like base-jumping at Navagio Beach or flyboarding above Banana Beach.
We spent October half term at the Peligoni. Family of four. 2 kids aged 7 and 5 months. I can’t speak highly enough of the place. Our kids were constantly entertained - be it in the crèche for the little one or an array of activities for our 7 year old. We drank, we ate and we made friends. A highlight for me was the cycling and Peligoni triathlon that Patrick runs. Every morning he is at the bike hut without fail - even on his day off. Patrick pushes you to your limits and makes it enjoyable at the same time. Can’t get down at 8am - no bother - he’ll take you for a ride in the afternoon. The triathlon is the toughest sprint triathlon in Europe and expertly put together. Make sure you give it a go. Thank you Patrick. But just as much - thank you Peligoni. You knocked it out the park and we’ll be back again next October half term. I hope to see the friends we’ve made again and I’ll be working on improving my PBs with Patrick and the team between now and then!

I had my wedding here last June and if i could give more stars I would. The club was absolutely beautiful and the food was amazing. My wedding planner, the lovely Millie, truly understood what I wanted and that was a totally stress free wedding week. I am not a details person so i put my trust in Millie, Aiofe and the team and they handled absolutely everything from tiny details like snacks and wine while getting ready to making sure everyone was picked up and transported to our three wedding events. They coordinated everything so my only job when i got there was to show up and have a good time. The food for our wedding was also so amazing and they have so many events throughout the week to keep your wedding guests entertained and well fed. I really felt like the staff was so invested in making sure everyone had a great time during our wedding week. 10/10 the best week of my life! Thank you Peligoni and thank you Millie!

I was lucky enough to photograph a wedding at the club a while back and it was just such an amazing experience. The team was great, the food fantastic and the villa absolutely beautiful. The wedding took place by the pool, overlooking the sea with islands in the distance. The couple then leapt into a boat to be taken to the reception area where we were all (very well) fed, and they and their guests danced the night way. I would 100% recommend.

Amazing facilities and classes (fitness, water based, tennis, etc.). Good restaurant availability - fairly expensive for the area, similar to London prices. All the staff are there short-term but everyone was really friendly and helpful throughout, the few times ate there all restaurants were great! There was a lot of wasps around at hotel and other restaurants - don’t know if this is all the time. Didn’t stay in the accommodation

This is an amazing place to come with children. The villa’s are fitted out to a very high standard and the country club on the sea facility has activities for all ages of children and indeed adults. Staff really made the whole family feel welcome but particularly welcoming to the kids. I can see why families come year after year.

Beautiful villa, fantastic facilities and friendly staff… All sounds great. Unfortunately, someone broke into our car whilst we were unpacking it, and stole a bag containing most of my family’s valuables (phones, cash, etc.). The response from the villa manager, George, was excellent - daily dialogue during our stay and even when we returned home (helping chase the police report). The response from the Peligoni staff was far less impressive - one of the managers joined George in the immediate aftermath, but after that we were met with complete indifference/ none of the staff made any further reference to it or offered to help. It wasn’t a bad enough experience to ruin our stay and we would go back, but it’s worth knowing that (some of) the senior staff appear to relinquish themselves of any responsibility for issues arising away from the club itself.

The view was amazing from our room, we woke up overlooking Kefalonia and the sea. Matina is an excellent host, always smiling and trying to make you feel well cared for. Our room was cleaned every single day, even if we tried to make our bed she still did it too.

The hotel is located at the northern end of the island; the place doesn't have the same infrastructure as the south, but that's exactly what we loved the most. It's much less noisy and chaotic than the overly touristy southern villages like Laganas and Tsilivi, for example. You'll definitely need a car to explore the surroundings, but if you're looking for a charming and picturesque place, it's definitely worth it. Highlights are the beautiful swimming pool, the wonderful sea views from the balconies and the nice village of Agios Nikolaos, just 5 minutes away by car. We also greatly appreciate the staff, who were always smiling and willing to help with anything. The bathroom is small. Not really a big issue, though

Just book it. Our primary contact here was Matina, and her friendliness and helpfulness really made our stay comfortable, memorable, and very worthwhile. The landscape around the property is beautiful, the hotel property itself is very tasteful, the rooms are clean and spacious, the "sea view" from the terrace is terrific. The pool +hot tub is a great amenity for people staying longer, but this hotel was located so close to the sea that we spent most of our time swimming in those luscious blue waters ;)

Lovely hotel! The best parts were it's location (close to Agios Nicolas, the shipwreck beach, restaurants etc.), an amazingly kind owner Matina, and the views on the ocean from the balcony. The things to improve are the check-in staff (cold and lacking enthusiasm) and the kitchen/bathrooms are on the older side / lacking equipment. We enjoyed it nevertheless!

Fantastic place with excellent very helpful and very friendly staff, surrounded by beautiful nature. The hotel has an amazing magical atmosphere, lovely decoration everywhere. Very comfortable, beautiful clean swimming pool facing the sea. The view from the window is truly unbelievable! I highly recommend it to families, couples or just friends who would like to stay in a gorgeous quiet place and enjoy Greek nature. Very close to a small port where you can take a boat to see blue caves and Shipwreck beach.

What an amazing place! Lithies hotel is a family owned hotel in the northern part of Zakynthos in a magical location! We saw an amazing sunrise and an amazing sunset from the same place in the hotel! It felt like paradise with all these flowers Atzouleta and Matina have planted! The most friendly people! They help us with everything, so kind people! We loved the location there, 5 minutes from the hotel there are boats for Blue Caves and Shipwreck boat cruises, on 10 minutes is the Saint Nikolas port with so nice tavernas and places to eat and drink. All around are magical beaches! Amazing!!! Love you Lithies! See you next year!
