As the name suggests, it is a really nice place with a good view on the square. The cocktails were really nice made (with some dry ice effects also) and the food (nachos with minced meat) also tasted really nice. The service was really friendly. However (not sure who is responsible for that) the orders were taking too long. Initially our food took more than half an hour, and then we got informed that they got initially burned and remade again and they apologised for it. Later though, we ordered 2 more bottles beers which also weren’t arrived after half an hour (which technically have no preparation needed at all). We ended up cancelling those as it took way too long. I only remove one star for this as of the rest it was a really nice atmosphere and beside the delays I really enjoyed it.

One of the best place to have a drink or a cocktail in Zakynthos Town. Prices are a little bit higher, but the drinks are so good to see and drink. Highly recommended if you want to pass a different evening with some music. The rooftop just amazing!

The location and ambiance at Base Cafe are undoubtedly appealing—modern, relaxed, and well-suited for a sunny afternoon stop. I ordered the Mocha Pleasure smoothie from the menu, clearly marked with a “• 5”, which I reasonably assumed to be the price (5€). However, I was charged 8€, which left a sour aftertaste despite the smoothie itself being rich, smooth, and absolutely delicious. My companions ordered Mythos beers, priced at 6€, which seemed steep compared to local averages. While the drinks were well-prepared and enjoyable, the unclear pricing felt misleading, especially for a menu that otherwise appeared straightforward. Overall, this place has strong potential with its quality offerings and attractive setting, but clarity and consistency in pricing would go a long way toward building trust and ensuring a better customer experience.

Great atmosphere, great place to be and very nice people around. The staff really respectful and the service was awesome! The waitress Anastasia took our order and made our day with her smile!

During a hot day exploring Zakinthos town, we found Base Cafe and it did not disappoint. Service was excellent, swift and efficient and the food did not disappoint. I had a Chicken Penne meal accompanied by Parmesan, Broccoli and a delicious creamy cheese sauce! My partner had a Pepperoni pizza which she enjoyed very much so. If I ever return to the island I will come back and cannot recommend this place enough for an early afternoon lunch that is cheap in such a built up area!

We ate lunch and dinner here. Yet had two very different experiences. Lunch was delicious and had very polite and friendly service. Dinner however was just the opposite besides good food. The servers are lost in space more than not with little to no direction. Clearly needs an overall manager. Our server seemed almost bothered by having to do her job. Which she stinks at anyways. The two hostesses were night and day. The one with the tight perm like hair has a poor attitude and was more about socializing. On the other hand the one with straight long black hair was constantly panning the restaurant and customers. She is the diamond in the rough at this restaurant that is managed like a kiosk.

A wonderful meal… a delightful spot with attentive staff and beautiful decor (we sat inside with the retractable roof pulled back). My wife (vegan) was very appreciative of the second vegan/veggie menu … the portions were fabulous… so much so we ended up taking food home. There was no way we were leaving any !! The staff were friendly and the music up to date but nicely in the background. To cap it all the prices were very reasonable… Highly recommend.

Best restaurant you will find on a island. Great Owner/Chef is always at the place asking how you lime everything. High end quality. Extra good taste. Highly recommend to try potato nest and shrimp “milfey” (i really cant spell it right 😁😁😁) Baklava is amazing. Its not what you expect to see when you hear “baklava” and its worth every penny. Cocktails are great. Its great place to drink regarding quality/price compared. We forgot a cap during first visit. And get back in a two days. Must visit for all!

What a gem! We weren’t sure what to try and the lovely chef and owner, Yiota, took such wonderful care in pointing out which dishes were in season and also some of her favourites she thought we’d like. Everything was delicious - special shoutout to the zucchini balls and the best Greek salad I’ve ever had - and the atmosphere was charming. I look forward to going back one day.

Lovely, pretty place with lots of seating and fans to keep you cool. We went for lunch and were greeted by the bar man who was so friendly. He makes the drinks fresh at the bar in front of you. I had the homemade lemonade and I highly recommend it, it was so refreshing. The chef brought out our food and was so friendly too. Cooked it to perfection & was so proud of her work which we loved to see. We both had a fish dish. It’s worth a visit it won’t disappoint 💞

Thank you for the amazing dinner and hospitality. I arrived alone and was immediately seated. I was given water and able to order a cocktail. The food was highly recommended and was amazing. This is my second time here. The owner is outgoing, friendly and fabulous. I observed her walk around to each table talking to her customers. Staff were very friendly and went out of their way to please everyone. When in Zakynthos, Yard of Taste, is a must!!

You’ve got to try the traditional Greek and Zakynthonian dishes, but the local fusion food is just as exciting. The staff were polite, attentive, and made us feel welcome. We ordered the lamb and red snapper — both served with sauces that burst with flavour. We got curious about what was in them, and the chef was happy to share the ingredients. The bitter mousse was equally good. Portions were just right, and overall, the food and ambience made it well worth the price.

The Yard of Taste is definitely a lively and vibrant place. Definitely a place worth trying when you are in the neighborhood. Food: We had several appetizers e.g. smoked beef tartar, tarama and ceviche. It was all very good and tasty especially the ceviche. It would have been amazing if it had a touch of spice to uplift the acidity in the dish, but still it was very tasty. The main courses were all very tasty and the waiter explained the dishes very precisely, which was highly appreciated. Service: The waiter was very friendly and attentive. They were very quick to serve drinks as well and the drink recommendations were on point. Ambiente looks coherent and it does look nice. However for the price point I think it could be a bit nicer, but that's very subjective to my taste of course. Overall it was a great dinner and you can't do anything wrong here.

Beautiful taverna with a stunning view, friendly staff, and a great atmosphere. Everyone was being attacked by mosquitoes because there's a stagnant water next door, and a regular gave us some mosquito repellent. I ordered a fish dish and left it because the quality was like frozen from the supermarket. Dry, tough, and tasteless. My wife's too, but it was still edible. For 20 euros, I don't expect much, but I left it. I guess I'm used to better. We saw that the "no smoking" signs didn't apply to the chef. The 2 and 3 picture is fresh from a other taverne same price, we know kwality to find!

Super delicious and flavorful food, especially the musaka! But unfortunately the fried calamari is not tender and misses some sort of dips, we think. Staff (or owner) is very sweet and welcome. The location is unfortunately very noisy because of all the quad bikes.

The team was really great and the sitting area was great but the same does not go for the food. Our octopus was cold and I personally do not understand why they served red mullets and calamari with french fries. Ok for casual dining but would not recommend it.

Ate here last night and decided on just ordering a few starters and a few drinks. The food was absolutely amazing and there was so much of it. Shrimps were bigger than King prawns with rice and whatever they were marinated in was amazing. Mushrooms and garlic bread and salad. Wouldn’t have managed a meal after that .

Excellent food and service. If you search for exceptional experience - go to Taverna Keri! We took a table on the balcony and it was good choice because we had better view to the harbour.

We had the most wonderful dinner at Taverna Keri. Nice staff (especially the two lovely sisters that helped us), wonderful food and a beautiful view. Definitely recommend!

We passed by this place and decided to sit down because it was busy and beautifully located by the water. We ordered pasta and had to wait 30 minutes, which usually is a good sign — long wait often means freshly prepared food and good quality. Unfortunately, that was not the case here. We’ve had pasta at 3–4 other places during our stay, including beachside spots, and this was by far the worst experience. The pasta lacked flavor and felt poorly prepared. A piece of advice: please train your staff to at least check in with guests during or after the meal to ask if everything is okay. It’s such a simple step that allows you to receive honest feedback and improve your service and quality.

It seemed like the nicest place in the area, but we had mixed feelings about going because of some low reviews. Still, it turned out to be the best decision. Everything was absolutely perfect, the food, the staff, the atmosphere. Plus, everything looks so aesthetic and beautiful in the evening.

When we were on vacation, we visited this restaurant twice and it was amazing! The food and the drinks were fantastic, full of flavour. The servers were great, especially our server, Joanna wich is an excellent girl! The vibe is also great! I truly recommend this restaurant!

Oh, the risotto. Creamy, hot, and perfectly tender - it didn't just melt in my mouth, it dissolved like a slow sigh. Each bite slid across my tongue with the softness of a lover's touch, rich and velvety, leaving behind a lingering warmth that made me close my eyes and breathe deeper. The way the flavors unfolded - subtle at first, then deeper, bolder, almost indecent in their intensity - felt like foreplay on a plate. I found myself slowing down, savoring every spoonful like a secret I didn't want to end. By the last bite, I wasn't sure whether I'd eaten dinner or been seduced. Either way, I left completely satisfied... and just a little breathless.

Great friendly service, AMAZING food! I had the peanut butter French toast and my husband had the red velvet pancakes. Both delicious :) Would highly recommend!

Ive never had worse food. Let me start by saying that we waited 15 minutes for service and when we finally ordered pancakes and tortilla we were wainting for 40 minutes straight, the tortilla came burnt as hell and wasnt even tasty and the filling in tortila was also really bad. I dont recommend

The coffee were sadly overly acidic(sour) for our taste as if it were under-roasted or under-brewed. I guess mainly also because we‘re used to smooth with only a slight zing coffee in Vienna. But I like the fact that they serve cold drinks in glasses and not in to-go plastic cups. Unlike the usual cafes, you will find more savory snacks here than desserts. Over 90% of the cafes on Zakynthos have the ACs running while leaving the doors and windows wide open, including this one, which is a tragic waste of energy.

If you are looking for specialty coffee in Zakynthos, this is the place! The coffee is delicious, they have a multitude of single origins. The interior is very nice and they also have a few tables outside. The staff was very friendly and we felt very comfortable

If your looking for a professional coffee shop with good machines, trained staff and a selection of single origin beans then I might have found you the perfect place in Zanti. Here I had my best coffee in Zanti so far. They also have a selection of non dairy mils including soy almond and coconut but I only drink Oatly oat milk which Zanti doesn't have yet. Freidlg staff and fully air conditioned inside with pastry

One of the best coffee experiences we've had on the trip and in Greece in general. Fresh roasted and proper milk foam with multiple origins to chose from.

If you like proper and good quality coffee. This is pretty much the only place to go on the island as far as I can tell. The owner knows his stuff about the varieties he has on offer and it's well priced.

The pork gyros was tasty and satisfying. However, instead of French fries, I would have preferred traditional Greek potatoes—French fries are available everywhere, after all. The portion of meat could have been a bit more generous. The Greek pizza was a unique touch and quite good. The crust was slightly undercooked, but the toppings and overall flavor were excellent. Service was friendly, and we were even offered a small glass of limoncello after the meal, which was a nice gesture. I would have liked to see more authentic Greek dishes on the menu—after all, we *are* in Greece—but I understand the restaurant has to cater to a broad audience. The only real downside was the doorman, who chain-smoked just outside the entrance, causing cigarette smoke to drift into the restaurant. All in all, it’s a place worth visiting.

Service was really nice and friendly. You can tell people love coming here as I saw the staff greet several customers personally. The grilled shrimp was good. However, my partner said the fried calamari was very chewy. He ended up getting sick the same night from the calamari.

Ambrosia is the best restaurant in kalamaki! The food is amazing, delicious and great quality. The atmosphere is brill, on a dry day they do greek dancing and end with a plate smash - unlike other places there its relaxed, enjoyable to watch and no forcing to join in. It's family run by Emilios and it shows, a true feeling of being one of the family when you go. We ate there several times due to enjoying the company and the food. We can definitely recommend and we will be back for more!

This appears to be a family run restaurant. The food is very good indeed, and we returned twice. Everybody here is so friendly, courteous and speak very good English. You are automatically provided with bread and following your meal you are offered a choice of free drinks. Lovely people. I was the Shamrock bar next door would turn its music down though as it can affect your dining experience.

Wow what a place this is! Great to meet the legend (pioneer) Kevin and his team they really looked after us. The best Cocktails, our favourite was the frozen passion fruit martini and the specially made strawberry daiquiri. The padded sun beds were really comfortable and there was a cold shower available to cool off when required. It was simply perfect!

Absolutely the best place if you want to spend all day on the beach. The staff is really friendly. Excellent food, great service and really pleasant place to stay all day long and relax! The bar is well decorated and beach chairs are always well prepared on a nice and soft white sand.

Visited Buca bar and beach the last two years. Great place to relax. Perfect hospitality from Kev. If you want to know anything for great place to eat. Or places to visit or just the weather just as Kev. St Dennis too was a great fella. All the staff were all jolly. €20 for sunbeds and brolly. Lovely food Greek yoghurt honey nuts and peach tea for a light refreshing breakfast. Unless you have been to Relax around the corner for full English breakfast. Also what's nice for brunch in Buca is a bacon cheese garlic melt with chips and coleslaw. You don't even have to move off your sunbeds. They will serve you on the beach. Perfect. 😎😁👍

Great service and well maintained sunbeds. £20 for two sunbeds and the umbrella. Cash is easier as the card machines sometimes don't work on the beach and saves you a trip inside. Coffees and ice cream are lovely and my family inform me that the food is also excellent.

I rarely give bad reviews but this was such a waste of money. Maybe zakynthos is just bad for food overall, but this sucked so bad. The service was awful aswell very rude and uneducated in terms of customer service. Hated this place. Sorry. The view was great and so was the hike. Greasy food and everything was tasteless. And pretty damn expensive too. Rubbish place. Do not go there.

This place has great views and that’s about it. We ordered the gyros and schnitzel and both were burnt, and very dry, even the pita. The food also took ages to arrive, it’s possible they forgot about our order It’s also quite over priced compared to other restaurants in the area- wish we had checked the reviews before we sat through the wind and had a poor meal! We paid around €45 -€50 for the two meals

Charging €8.50 for a 50cl Alfa beer is essentially asking your customers to visit once and never return. Tourists are not foolish — we understand the value of money. A scenic location doesn’t make the beer taste any better. It’s the same Alfa I can get elsewhere for €5.50. Be smart: charge a fair price and encourage repeat customers. As it stands, you're only hurting your own business. Edit after the owner's answer. Do you think that lying about it will earn you more customers? Whoever reads this review, will avoid your place. My initial bill said: 8.50 € for 2 drought 50 cl Alfa beers for a total of 17 €. Other than that I ordered a portion of fries for 6 € for a total bill of 23 €. You can lie as much as you want. I cannot tell you how to manage your relationship with your customers but I can say that you are ripping them off and you deserve to have your terrace almost empty.

We ended up here because we wanted to check out the castle. After visiting the castle here we went for a bite to eat. During our stay in Zakynthos it was not yet tourist season so plenty of place space. There is a terrace with a view of Zakynthos town. The staff is nice, pairs reasonably good English and somewhat attentive. We had some water, a fresh orange juice a sandwich and a Greek salad. We paid a total of €26. It was pretty okay food kwa taste. The design is nice and simple. Good umbrellas to sit under. Music was not played during our stay on the terrace. This was also not at all necessary here. All in all, top little place to go and have something to eat if you are around here.

The view from this café is absolutely stunning, with an incredible panorama over Zakynthos—you really can’t beat the location. Unfortunately, the place itself was very disappointing. The seating area and surroundings were dirty, with plastic bottles and garbage scattered around, which completely ruined the atmosphere. It feels neglected and not cared for at all, which is such a shame given how beautiful the setting could be.

We had dinner at this restaurant with a stunning view of Zakynthos, definitely the highlight of the evening. The dishes were tasty, although the tzatziki had a bit too much garlic for our liking. Overall, the food was enjoyable. The service, however, was somewhat lacking: the staff did not speak English very well and didn’t help us with the issue of the wasps. In addition, a child playing with the cats was moving around the tables, which was a little disturbing. All in all, it was a pleasant experience thanks to the location and the food, but with some details that could be improved.

We had dinner at Latas Café & Bistro during our stay in Zakynthos, and the experience was overall positive. The food was good and the panoramic view over the city and the port was simply spectacular – definitely worth it for the view. Unfortunately, the atmosphere was a bit spoiled by the presence of many wasps, which disturbed us during the meal. We asked the waiter if something could be done, but unfortunately no action was taken, also due to the language barrier. In addition, a child in the restaurant was playing with the cats and running between the tables, bothering the guests and disturbing the tranquility of the evening. In summary, the place offers great views and good food, but there are a few aspects that could be better managed

We went here for coffee and shared a waffle between the two of us. We ordered a waffle with strawberries, caramel sauce, whipped cream and vanilla ice cream. The portion was excellent and there was enough to satisfy both of us, who were hungry for a small snack. The service was fast and friendly and we were warmly welcomed when we arrived. I definitely recommend trying the waffles here! You can customize the waffle portions to your liking and the price depends on the number of toppings. The portion we ordered with toppings cost around €10.

Got a couple of drinks here in the morning. Great staff, even helped us with a few tips for our stay in Argassi. Good prices, tasty drinks, comfy seats, but unfortunately no AC or fans, at least in the morning.

Popped in for a quick salad. The place was amazing so we couldn't resist but have a cocktail and coffee as well. The food was a 12 out of 10 as were the cocktails. However the service and staff were extremely warm and inviting. We will be back. Best restaurant in the island. Oh the coffee was incredible!

Absolutely amazing experience – 5 stars! We had an incredible dinner here. The food was absolutely top-notch. Honestly, I’ve never had better sushi or dishes anywhere else. Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The service was fantastic as well. We were warmly welcomed and taken care of by the lovely host Ada – such a sweet and kind woman. The entire staff was super friendly and attentive throughout the evening. The atmosphere is really nice too – relaxed, cozy, and welcoming. Ada was our host and she was very lovely. Ensured we were pleased with our experience at Manoo. We tried the tuna tartare and we told them that they put too much soy sauce. The other dishes we had were sushi variations. Good spot on the strip, people walk through it and it’s across the water where yachts are stationed. It felt very much island vibes!

Manoo and tiger rolls are both amazing. Their black tea is really good. Grilled platter is not— pretty mediocre. Staff were friendly and professional. I would recommend this place to anyone who’s craving for some good sushi rolls.

We had a wonderful experience at Manoo! The menu was full of delicious options, and we were warmly welcomed by Ada and the rest of the staff. The food arrived quickly and tasted amazing — no complaints at all. On top of that, the service was excellent throughout our visit. Our table was kept neat, we were offered refills of ice water without even asking, and everything was handled with care. I also ordered a matcha, which was actually better than at some places I’ve tried in the Netherlands. Highly recommend this place for both the food and the great service!

We enjoyed breakfast and coffee here. The staff and service were wonderful. The coffee was delicious! I got the vegan bowl and it was perfect! My husband got pancakes and said it was the best breakfast he’s had! We loved the atmosphere. Everything was priced fairly too. We highly recommend!

By far the most beautiful terrace in the entire Alykes resort. The staff is incredibly kind and friendly. High-quality products. The terrace’s design immediately gives you that Boho-style vacation vibe. They even have very friendly cats. I recommend it to any tourist visiting Alykes. P.S.: They also have craft beer.

The best Latte I had in whole Zakynthos!

Absolutely loved this place! We went there everyday, even if it was just for an iced matcha. They have some really nice drinks and snacks. The atmosphere is just so cozy and welcoming. There's oat milk for your coffee and even a vegan breakfast bowl. The people working there are so kind and if you chat with them they will give you some great recommendations for other nice places on the island. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

Been here before in 2018 en just returned. Just as amazing as I remembered. Great cocktails: lots of choice and very well prepared in both taste and looks. Wonderful service laid back and chill. Beautiful bar with seats looking out over the bay. You are guaranteed to have a great time here with and without company.

An amazing place to have a drink with friends or with your other half, with an unforgettable atmosphere and a great crew (Irina is great! Always smiling and helpful). I haven't found a better place on the island and I've visited a few of them.

We popped in for coffee and pastries for breakfast on our way to the ferry port. There is an amazing choice, everything looked delicious. The coffee was great and the pastries were very tasty. The prices are good and the service was excellent.

This seemes to be a very popular bakery in the area, since they have clients from the first hours of opening. All traditional products and sandwiches looked great, but unfortunately they have no product ingredients translated in English so you have to guess or ask for each one :( The espresso was similar to the Italian coffee, so more dark roasted

Absolutely amazing bakery! The pastries are not only delicious but freshly made and full of flavor — flaky, buttery, and just the right amount of sweetness. But what really stood out were the cakes — truly works of art! They look stunning and taste even better. You can tell a lot of care and creativity goes into every detail. Highly recommend stopping by if you want to treat yourself.

After trying the mini sausage pie (sausage roll) on the first day and it being delicious I came back here every day of my holiday for lunch. The chicken pie and covered pizza were equally delicious. The staff were attentive, quick and helpful when I was deciding what to get as I did not know the ingredients in some of the items. The food goes quickly so I would recommend getting there earlier than later as I'm pretty sure it's made fresh and once something's gone it's gone.

During our holiday, this was one of our regular stops for breakfast. We were kind of addicted to the chicken brioche - excellent brioche, deliciously fluffy. The tahini cookies were a lovely afternoon delight. Generally, a diverse selection of savory and sweet goods. Also, good coffee and great service! I wish they would offer a few more vegetarian options, particularly for the sandwiches.

A really lively cafe on the edge of Argassi on the busy Zakinthos road. Good selection of bakery products. Coffee is good but served in a paper cup, not the best option.

Very nice café with an excellent breakfast. The selection is large, everything is fresh and prepared with lots of love. The presentation is particularly beautiful - attractively decorated on pretty plates from their own store. The taste of every dish is impressive thanks to the high quality and fresh ingredients, and all at fair prices. The service is friendly and attentive. The outdoor area also invites you to linger, with comfortable seating and shady spots that are pleasant even on warm days. All in all, an all-round harmonious place for a cozy breakfast or a relaxed coffee.

An excellent place for high-quality breakfasts! A very friendly welcome! Go there with your eyes closed! Some might say it's more expensive than hotel prices... True. But the quality is clearly superior... And really, can you compare foie gras and pâté? Look at our photos...

I had a wonderful experience at the Pottery Studio & Cafe in Agios Sostis. The atmosphere is fantastic and the coffee is great. It's a unique place that combines the art of pottery with a cozy cafe. The service is exceptional and the environment is truly relaxing. I highly recommend it!

Super good food and pottery, we loved it! We went for breakfast and had pancakes and they were very good. We came back for a late lunch and had an amazing vegan tortilla and a bread with salmon. We also bought a tortilla to take away. All the food is made by one of the women working there and is fresh and super good.b The pottery is just beautiful, we bought two beautiful green cups for tea and a strand with ceramic pomegranates. There is a beautiful red cat 😺

Very nice place! Highly recommended. I had them create a specialized coffee mug for my girlfriend and I as a surprise for my girlfriend prior to our visit. This was a amazing, and we are very satisfied with the result as well. Furthermore, they are serving a lovely breakfast and lunch.

A very good bakery with a huge Sortiment - from Croissant to Lots of different greece stuffed pies - delicious. Coffee is exzellent and at a fair price, Cappuccino for 2.60 €. Quick service and very friendly staff.

I only wished there was a place like this where I live. Everything they have is excellent and superb. I've returned to this place a few times during my stay. I particularly liked the baklava. They offer freshly pressed orange juice. Prices were good. The only downside is there is not much sitting area and it can be loud.

Truly the best bakery and cake shop in Zakynthos. All of their cakes, biscuits, desserts and breads are delicious (believe me when I tell you we tried most). The service is fast, kind and fantastic. We met the lovely Dimitri who was happy to recommend to us what he thought we might like and he was never wrong, so we just trusted him every time. He first recommended the Biscoff cheesecake and oh my!! It was so so delicious. My husband and I were so happy to stop by every day of our 7 day stay in Zakynthos town as it’s always a great day when you have something to enjoy from this fantastic local bakery where the locals shop! Thank you Dimitri (and Vicky) for being so kind and showing us the most beautiful Greek/Zakynthian hospitality. We can’t wait to visit again.

always the view from above is breathtaking! the majesty of nature, the sea of rocks, standing still admiring each other. i have been there more than once. they make amazing coffee. and a great cheeseburger! is to sit and let the landscape calm you down. the sunset is amazing because it is on the edge of the cliffs, they have built a fence, so that the place is protected it is worth a thousand times

You pay Euro min entrance fee, and with this you buy a lemonade. Unacceptable price mongers. The closed all public paths around the property with wire and barb wire so you can not access the view for free. The state should do something here... The place is a field with some benches to sit and watch the sea. Sunsera was nice but it feels like they invested nothing, and try to profit as if they are a normal cafeteria. Toilets are remote and they looked nasty.

Best place to watch the sunset, and it's actually the most romantic place on the island as written on some guides. You gotta go to the top of the cliff at the end of the road to find it, even if it seems like the road isn't going there. It's necessary to buy a drink to enter and it is worth it. The view on Mizithres itself isn't the best in the area, but that location is the best to spend some time as it got a full panoramic view and plenty of seating area, not mentioning some wild animals around.

Unbelievable!!! You’ve taken over the cliff and are charging an entrance fee to go out — where exactly?? To the cliff?? To enjoy the natural landscape?? By what right have you fenced off the cliff and we can’t explore it freely??? It’s one thing to run a legitimate business at a natural attraction and offer a bench and a soft drink or snack to a visitor, and quite another to forbid a visitor access to the view of the rock and force them to pay for it!!!! And it’s not about the amount! €5 isn’t some outrageous sum! But it is absolutely outrageous to charge admission to nature! Shame on you! I wouldn’t give a single euro to admire the view from the natural environment! Next time I come I won’t leave annoyed — I’ll go in, and bring whoever you want to try to drag me out!

If you just want to sit in silence and enjoy the coastal view sipping a coffee or having a soft drink this is the place, be it at sunset or not. There is a 5 euro entrance but buying a drink/food for that amount also counts. Call it a "simple pleasure" - we loved it.

We left completely disappointed and furious after discovering that a place which was once freely accessible to visitors has suddenly been privatized by an outdoor snack bar that charges €5 per person to access the cliff — and has even put up barbed wire fencing so you can’t get in from anywhere to enjoy the view! I couldn’t believe a permit could be granted for something like this… As if private beaches weren’t enough, now we have private cliffs too! Outrageous!

A gem of a place, seriously good home cooked food in an authentic Greek setting with idyllic views of the sea and jetty. Niko and family "efcharistó poly"

Surprised by the good comments and food pictures found here ... either those are from a different restaurant or the owner has changed meanwhile. Yes, the view was beautiful ... and that's it. Food and drinks were way overpriced, the menu offered far less than other restaurants in the neighbourhood and the food itself tasted like most of it was made of discounter-bought ingredients, even the traditional local dishes. Personal recommendation: stop by, enjoy the beautiful panorama from the two freely accessible spots on either side of the restaurant, then move on and have great local food in a place nearby, like Petrinos (great food, good prices) or El Sueno (nice view and food).

Worst meal I've had out for a long time. I'm not fussy but the Seafood pasta they served up yesterday was awful. The pasta sauce was the worst I've tasted. Bland does not even begin to describe it. It was like any flavour had forcibly been removed. I left almost all of it as it was not worth the calories. Service was poor, with one lad taking the order, then some kids coming in and arguing with the owners before dumping the food on our table. No napkins etc so I just wiped my hands on the table. And its massively overpriced. Probably to pay for the work they have had to do to the place to make it structurally safe since our last visit several years ago. Owners watched from a table in the corner and saw the whole fiasco. Avoid at all costs.

Overall the food was good and fresh. The view is first rate and the service very friendly. Only a short drive from the nearby beach where you can relax next to the emerald water. Would recommend!

Nice views of the sea and Micro Nisi. Food was ok. toilets are down several stairs though and would be difficult for those with mobility issues. We went here with Nefis tours from Tsilivi and then transferred to a boat to go to the Blue caves and shipwreck. Cash only!

I ordered shrimp saganaki, and they gave us fish cake which looks like shrimp. Lol It was my worst shrimp I’ve ever had. And this dish is $15. Kidding me? This dish is ‘shrimp saganaki with fries’ but I would better call this ‘fries with shrimp shape fish cake’ What a waste of money!!!!

Two stars as the food didn't make it sick and didn't totally suck. But the quality of food and prices here so not make sense. If you have a choice to go somewhere else, please do.

We tried the Belgian waffles, they were fresh, decently baked and good tasting. Their prices are decent, in line with the competition in the area. The ice cream was pretty good, we really liked their version of cream and cookies. The chocolate parfait was very good as well. The owner was very kind and the service was fast and the personnel was very gentle and pleasant. I would like to see a few more ice cream tastes next time.

Lovely spot to escape the heat and enjoy a few drinks Reasonably priced, really good service and some complementary crisps too which was a nice touch. There’s no real selection of draft beers which would be my only note - just mythos from what I could tell. I was more than happy to take what was on offer. (Served in an ice cold glass I might add) Great cocktail menu and selection of spirits. There is a food menu but in our two visits we didn’t get any.

We took a sit immediately and after a quick look at the menus we placed our order. Beverages were brought immediately (good cappuccino and american coffee). We waited more than half an hour for food, pancakes and waffles. The excuse was "it takes time to prepare". I don't understand how difficult it can be to squeeze some pancake dough into a hot pan or to warm a waffle. They could just say they were sorry. Out of 3 pancakes, 1.5 were burnt, not much cream nor fruit. Awful. When i paid, i was asked "everything OK?" and i said "almost". They had no reaction. If you dont care, why do you ask? I guess this was what annoyed me most and the reason why I'm giving 1 star in place of 2.

Notos Bar Argassi what a great bar. Vangelis, Maria and their team really took great care of my wife and myself. We stopped by at the Notos Bar each day of our holiday for a well made and tasty cocktail or two. A good array of drinks available to choose from, and all at a fair price. Notos Bar is a hidden gem where it offers a chilled and relaxing atmosphere. Thank you, we will be back :-)

While it's on the main road, it remains an island of tranquility and leisure in an otherwise busy resort. One of the only places with clean alcohol in the area. Layed back vibe, great coffee and cold beer 🙂‍↕️

We called here for drinks on our way for our evening meal and on the way back. The cocktails were of a very good quality. The owner even got olives for my hubby a classic martini. My only comment would be the service could be slow at busier times. Not an issue for us but we could see people looking fed up at waiting. Still great little bar.

We ordered the English breakfast, which included eggs, bacon, beans, tomatoes, orange juice, toast, and tea or coffee. Unfortunately, the quality was very disappointing. The beans tasted like they came straight from a can, the bacon was undercooked and had an unpleasant smell, and the eggs were greasy and looked more fried than properly prepared. The toast was simply two plain slices of bread served with overly sweet marmalade. Finally, the orange juice was nothing more than water with a bit of coloring and sugar. Overall, we cannot recommend this place. We left hungry.

This little gem in a small fishing village is a place to head to. Freshly prepared food awaits you. A good selection of food on the menu. Staff are very friendly. There are two eating areas for the best views go upstairs.

Every time we visited, our experience was excellent from start to finish, I particularly like cheese and tomato omelette, it's not on the menu, but when I asked for this, that's what I got. The service is quick even when busy and the staff are very friendly. There is a beautiful view of the bay from the top deck. I hope to be able to come back another year

I have to be honest, the 3 stars are for the service. It was very slow the day we visited. We were lucky enough to find a table. The location is very good and kid friendly. I must admit that the waiter taking the orders was really good and friendly. It took them a lot of time to bring the order and we were 7 so everyone had his drink at a different time. The cocktail smelled better than it tasted. It was quite pricey but it is for the unique location.

Used to be the go-to place for people of all ages back in the good days. Still a great place to visit for people-watching, particularly because of its location which is excellent. In every other aspect however, it has deteriorated. Some servers are enthusiastic and some aren’t at all. The desserts we had were quite okay, nothing special. They have a band that plays live music and that’s really loud, to the point it’s annoying rather than pleasing. Here’s to hoping this historic cafeteria will see better days in the near future.

Great place for coffee and chill. There is indoor and outdoor. Not a place for meals. Pizza was ok. Prawn salad was ok. Octopus can be better, fries that comes with it are way salty.

A wet night out of season in Zakynthos. Greeted by friendly staff and served a good meal. Excellent pasta and Salad, fresh bread and a bottle of local wine. Not a busy night for the place. Reasonably priced, Elegant and charming on Solomos square. I will see it busy and look forward to giving it 5*. Value for money.

Best placement in the central part of Zakynthos town. Excellent for families, because kids have a lot of place to play. But the service is not very good, it is often crowded and the prices are high. Although I don't prefer it, I find myself going there almost everytime that I visit Zakynthos, just for the place and for the convenience my having my small daughter play and be able to watch her. If you visit Zakynthos once, it is work visiting, but not for more.

A place that's taking advantage of its position in the best place in the city of zakynthos to deliver bad service and bad products. From the waiters spilling drinks on us, taking insane amounts of time to deliver, bringing food without utensils and undrinkable concoctions, the things that happened are too many to write..if you can avoid it, do so, its a tourist trap.

Absolutely loved this place! They serve the best coffee in Tsilivi — rich, smooth, and perfectly made. The lemon pie is a must-try, truly unforgettable. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. A fantastic spot overall — highly recommended!

Popped into Gelato last night and we were blown away by the vast menu. So many lovely dishes to choose from…savoury and sweet crepes with a variety of fillings and toppings. The kids had ice cream, the wife had the crepe and I had the most delicious Baklava, served with a little bit of whipped cream on the side. They serve cocktails too and the prices are very reasonable. Service with a smile and excellent customer service. A real lovely place to visit, thanks.

Waited 35 minutes today for a tuna baguette and two chocolate milk shakes. The milkshakes were average and stupidly expensive, the tuna baguette never came despite being told it was 'being prepared - twice'. Baguette cancelled and we put it down to 3/4 hour of our lives we'll never get back. Worst dining experience in Zakynthos yet.

We had different desserts from here on different days. The ladies that served us are very pleasant and friendly, there are plenty of choices and all are delicious! Had the traditional Zante pastry twice, as I loved it.

Delicious waffles, creamy ice cream and Greek sweet specialty are the main advantage of the patisserie. The garden is average and quite close to a busy street. The service could be a little faster, but the staff is friendly.

Best coffee and pastries in Kalamaki! The staff is also super friendly. Try their traditional cakes as well as the baklava (with or without ice cream)!

We have had a great afternoon with Costa in his Costas Coffee. We would like to thank him because of his very nice and great service. This is a really great place to visit, drink a delicious coffee and eat a great food! If you visit Zakynthos, you shoud not miss this place. They have absolutelly perfect croissants with chocolate!!! :-)

This is the best coffee on the island!!! The women who run it are so sweet and friendly. We were visiting from Chios and we came here every morning for coffee and pastries. They even had some great gluten free options!

I think the owner runs this bakery with real flair. She is very kind and welcoming, and I was really pleased with the way she treated me. However, the food itself didn’t quite meet my expectations. The cinnamon roll I tried was dry and overly sweet. I sampled a few other items as well, and while they were fine, they weren’t particularly impressive. The prices are also a bit on the higher side.

This place is clearly a tourist trap that overcharges visitors while locals seem to pay much less. As others have mentioned, there are no menu prices displayed, which is not an honest way to do business. The staff were overly pushy and didn’t give us time to choose properly. We ordered one cappuccino and one pastry and were shocked to be charged €9 in total, €4.50 for an average cappuccino and another €4.50 for a lukewarm, mediocre pastry. Being a regular Greek tourists across over 15 Greek islands, this is ridiculous and I can’t even fathom how people rate this high when they are actually being ripped off. There was no itemised receipt, which makes the pricing even more questionable. The food and coffee were below average at best, and the overall experience felt like a rip-off aimed at tourists. I genuinely hope this place is reviewed or investigated for its pricing practices and lack of transparency.

A very well situated sea front restaurant in Keri beach with unobstructed views out to sea and the islands. There is ample outdoor seating to enjoy the weather and the views. The food was tasty and well sized portions. A great place to soak up the views and chill.

We had two pizza and two small drinks. Prices are okay for the area and the view. Pizza were tasty and seemed handmade but lots of things on the card were not available.

Lovely place for a coffee. Great view of the sea and beachfront, especially if you’re a people watcher! Very peaceful dur8 g the morning. Good service, nice coffee and note, they have oat AND almond milk options if you want an alternative milk, which we did and were very pleased to find.

Me and my girlfriend feel in love with the Aelia tavern during our stay in Keri. The food was excellent, both in taste and size. It's a perfect location for both a quick breakfast or a romantic dinner. The waiters were also absolutely lovely and always very prompt with their orders. Wholeheartedly recommended ❤️

There are four restaurants on the beachfront on Kerri beach, Alia is my favourite for breakfast or brunch and a drink. There smoothies are a treat and the location is simply beautiful and you can spend hours here. Just sitting and staring at the sea

Real Greek style. Loved it. Had a frappe with ice cream and it was devine. I would definitely go back for another. My daughter said the freshly squeezed orange juice was the best she had ever tasted.

Good place to drink some coffee, milkshake and eat snack. Service is quite polite. Clean and good prices for all things. Nice view and good vibes. By the way, you can come there with your dog.

We ordered Iced black Americano and eventually get one latte and one hot black americano. Even I’m allergic to one of the protein in milk that gives me rashes all over my neck and body. The waitress is not listening and got no patient at all. She literally just “throw” the cup on our table.

Nice bar. Good prices considering it is right on the beach. Lads serving were very friendly and helpful. Stopped off here for coffee and ice cream on a walk from Kalamaki to Laganos. The beach is full of bars so be careful to pick one that has good quality and reasonable prices. This is a good choice. Would be happy to go back.

We rented 3 beach bed, which came with an umbrella for only 15 euros. Drinks were delicious l, especially the ice chocolate! Staff were very friendly.

The waitress thought we ordered two orange cakes instead of one, luckily we did not correct her as we easily ate two. The music played here was relaxing unlike other beachside venues in Laganas. We only wish we had entered the venue beachside as the Laganas roadside walk has us clutching our pearls at times. Please note we haven’t had any other orange cakes in Greece thus far, so we aren’t aficionados but it tasted pretty good with plentiful zest.

We met the owner in Bochali in her free time and got in to talking. We promissed we would come by the next day. We did and we werent disappointed. We only ordered coffee because we already ate. It was the best cup of coffee in my entire holiday. Beautiful small cafe with views on laganas beach. Please take the time to go there and taste coffee of the best quality on zakynthos!

Proper, natural ice creams. Pistachio have a proper pale grey/ green colour. Lovely strawberry sorbets.

We visited Demode Sweets several times during our stay in Tsilivi. The loukoumades are absolutely delicious. I very much enjoyed the cream cheese loukoumades, which had smoked pork and a pepper jam on them. My wife had the traditional loukoumades as they have no lactose in them and she has an intolerance. The coffee is very good here too, and they have Yorkshire Tea which my wife was very happy to see along with oat milk. The cafe is very pretty inside and the staff there are incredibly friendly and will help you choose what to eat if you're unsure. We're going to miss this place very much when we get home.

We came here last year for the first time and have been back many times after that. Best dessert place in Tsilivi. Highly recommend you visit here and you must try the Loukamades. Delicious and so many flavours! Lovely spot and fantastic service and great prices always! All Loukamades are freshly made. Staff are super friendly and always smiling.

We first went there for the ice cream — they have delicious sorbet flavors! The other evening, we sat down to try a dessert. The waitress kindly explained the menu, and we ended up ordering their amazing Loukoumades (a traditional Greek dessert). We tried the Kinder Bueno and cheesecake Loukoumades — both were incredible! I highly recommend going there for the fantastic desserts and the genuinely lovely staff. You can tell they love what they do and take the time to make you feel welcome. They were also very careful and considerate about allergies, which we really appreciated. Definitely a place worth visiting!

It's a must do. If you think you had mochi before, you will change your mind. The star of a five star show is the ice cream. Not just one or two flavors in particular but all the flavors. And the toppings. Ask the friendly staff for their favorites. Pro tip: take the pictures for your Instagram before enjoying the treats.

Beautiful cafe with lovely, friendly staff. Try the local speciality, loukomades, which are freshly made, incredibly light and fluffy donut balls, served with all sorts of toppings. The bougatsa flavour with cinnamon and a kind of creme patisserie on top was absolute heaven. This place became an almost daily stop for greek coffee and iced coffee! Even in the baking heat, sitting inside with breeze coming through the big windows was fine!

All done by weight. Do it yourself. We got two boxes with greek yogurt with a mix of chocolate sauces fruits and waffle bites. Again with the bites you could add various toppings. This was my favourite and cooked on the spot. The greek frappe was spot on.

We went there as a group of 5. Got the ice cream which was delicious, tried the coffee which surprisingly was very affordable for that area. We got the fredo Cappuccino. Also tried the Waffle bites, absolutely amazing. The prices depend on weight, how much toppings are you putting, but the prices vary around 5 euro for ice cream and around 10 euro for the waffle bites with toppings (at least thats how much it cost us)

Top quality ice cream and frozen Greek Yoghurt. The help yourself topping section is a great system. Visited a few times and will come back.

The ice cream and mukta are good, the pancakes are good and you can choose from many varieties, both sweet and fruity.

Chill box seems like a nice idea but it's honestly a scam. The do it yourself yogurt is done by weight. If you ask the staff rough estimates of the price, they just say I don't know. Basically so you just go and get it anyway. They also don't guide you work the machine and will just stare at you instead of stopping the machine when you attempt to stop it. The quality of the yogurt isn't good either, it tastes very fabricated and the texture is weak. We paid 15€ for 1 box

Full of memorabilia and items of old. We stopped here on our tour of the island and fell in love with the square and this cafe. We tried a few desserts and had some drinks. The owners are very friendly and we had a good chat. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

Sit and Share Coffee is a lovely spot with a cozy atmosphere. The espresso was excellent – rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced. I also tried the Greek yoghurt with honey and nuts, and it was delicious – fresh, creamy, and generously topped. A perfect place for a relaxed coffee break!

What a pleasant surprise to find such a hidden gem in Vasilikos Zakynthos. For the whole week we were fed a horrible food at our hotel, while just a few blocks away this great place was waiting for us. On our last day here we decided to walk around and see what we could find. And we did, we found “Sit and Share” coffee food bar. Walking distance from the beaches like Banana Beach and Palm Beach. Amazing food tasting like gourmet food from high end places. Cocktails were so much better here as well. The owner Kostas was so friendly and helpful in selecting what we wanted. The homemade lemonades were incredibly refreshing – natural, fresh, and perfect for the warm island weather. We started with Moussaka, a dish we hadn’t tried before but absolutely loved. Of course, we also had Moussaka – and it was outstanding! Rich in flavor, perfectly seasoned, and full of that comforting homemade quality. For dessert, we enjoyed freshly made waffles topped with Nutella, chocolate, and vanilla ice cream – sweet, satisfying, and beautifully presented. We wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Greek cuisine in a serene and charming setting. It’s not made for the masses – and that’s exactly what makes it so special. A place to relax, enjoy, and definitely return to.

Beautiful location with high prices. Example a cappuccino is 4 Euro, a bit high from a local place. The Dutch owner unfortunately charged me double because the first transaction seemed not to go through because of connection issues, then we tried again. Couldn’t find any mail or number to contact the business. UPDATE: THE OWNER WROTE BACK ON THIS GOOGLE REVIEW AND SHE HAS RETURNED THE DOUBLE TRANSACTION!

Lovely food and drink goes without saying. Any one that's visited here will say that. And how welcoming the staff are. However I can vouche for their character as I left behind a wallet full of cash and then left to travel else where on the island. But they found and took care of my wallet for safe keeping and made sure it was returned to me with everything in tact. In hard times with costs going up there are still good people in this world. A centrally located cafe in the heart of the town center. Friendly host who give advise what to do and where to go in Zakynthos. He even help call several operators to enquire about the boat charter. Quite a good menu of omelette and sandwiches and toast. Price is expected in the town center. You may like to know that there are quite a bit of shopping around.

Dennis and Rula make all thier customers feel very welcome. A nice selection of hit and cold snacks and the usual array of hit and cold drinks available. Good place to sit and people watch on a sunny day!

Very nice little place to relax in after climbing like 150 stairs from the port up to the Spartohori village. We had a couple of ice cold mythos radler beers just to cool down before heading down to the boat again. The view is really great. Do not miss the chance to visit Spartohori and "Summer Sun" too. :)

Coffee was fine but the old man behind the bar come across as very rude after to tried to order something from the menu what they didn't have but instead of just saying that it's out of stock or whatever he felt the need to talk to us like we was simple. the food was very poor and over priced for the quality didn't taste fresh or as if it was from a tin. Definitely wouldn't return. The worse place we went.

We came as a 7 man group. Spending a week together on a boat, sailing, eating and sleeping without keeping any distance...all normal when u tested and vaccinated meanwhile explaining to the waiter after we started splitting the second table together...the reaction was terryfing....he became agressive to us, unfriendly and was ignoring us. He only said because of covid situation and police and problems, we can't sit in a group together. So we sat seperated.All other restaurants this was never a problem. The waiter qs serving without a face mask to each client. I found this terryfing unlogical from his behaviour. So pitty...nice place, all looking lovely, but....
