The Archaeological Site of the Tombs of the Kings is a vast necropolis dating back to the 3rd century BCE. It boasts underground tombs that were meticulously carved out of rock. The site offers a glimpse into ancient burial practices and architectural ingenuity. Additionally, visitors can explore nearby attractions such as the Medieval Castle, waterfront restaurants, ice-cream shops, cafes, and bars with stunning views across the water and harbor.
Overall a very beautiful archaeological site. Please be careful as pavements and steps are very very uneven ( I should know: I ended up at the ER!). Wear comfortable shoes and pay extra attention. Beautiful beach too!
D. E — Google review
Went just after opening as it was lovely temperature. Easy walk from our hotel. Cheap entry fee & bought a guide book. Bought tickets there. Such a wonderful historic place to walk. Best to wear good footwear as large stones, steep steps. Spent a good morning here.
Sharon L — Google review
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ When Dead Kings Flex Harder Than Your Holiday Villa Right, so you come here expecting some dusty old tombs carved into rock (which, fair enough, they are), but what you actually get is nature absolutely showing off whilst ancient history does its thing in the background. The archaeological site itself is properly impressive—massive underground chambers, intricate columns, and the kind of craftsmanship that makes you wonder how they managed without power tools and a decent coffee break. 🏛️ But here's the plot twist: the landscape steals the entire show. The way the golden stone contrasts with that ridiculously blue Mediterranean sky? Chef's kiss. The wild herbs growing between ancient stones? Pure poetry. You'll find yourself spending more time staring at the horizon than reading the information plaques (guilty 🙋). Top tips: Come early morning or late afternoon for the best light and fewer crowds. Wear proper shoes—it's rocky and uneven. Bring water and a hat because shade is scarce. And for the love of Zeus, don't rush through it. This place deserves at least an hour of your time, preferably two if you fancy some contemplative sitting on 2,300-year-old steps. 📷 Absolutely worth every cent of the entrance fee. Ancient royalty knew how to pick a view. 👑
Tom D — Google review
It's okay. We got some nice pictures. I quite like history/culture, but we walked all the way there and then walked around the huge site, so we were knackered before even starting. We didn't see the bus that takes you there until we'd explored the area a bit more, so I'd recommend looking for the tomb of kings bus if you don't have a transfer or bringing a card for a taxi, if you're not staying nearby. As others have said, they're not tombs of kings: they're tombs of officials, which was a bit disappointing to be honest. There are plaques dotted around to look at, and the map is perfectly readable (despite what others have said). However, you do have to buy the booklet for it. I think for the two of us the tickets and booklet came to about 10 euro. There's an early exit facing towards to beach, but I'm not entirely sure where it leads since we didn't take it. Final warning for the ladies - don't make the mistake of wearing flats and a long dress, if you visit. The area has lots of small rocks and stairs in and out of the tombs.
Jo — Google review
Very spaced out and hot, but beautiful ruins if you're into seeing them. The underground pillars, as I have photographed , were so beautiful. Not overly crowded with people, especially since it's spacious with a lot to see
Kyle F — Google review
A great spot for people into Roman and Hellenistic history and that are also interested in archaeology. They have information plots all around the grounds. Bring water and a hat as the grounds are huge. Heaps of onsite parking, clean toilets available, 2,50€ entry fee pp.
Melesande C — Google review
Impressive archaeological site showcasing ancient tombs carved into rock. A must-visit for history lovers! The area is vast, so wear comfortable shoes. Highly recommend downloading an audio tour guide to better understand the history and significance of the site.

Very nice place, well worth the visit and the entrance fee is extremely reasonable. Would suggest to go early morning or late afternoon as it gets very hot.

Ancient Ruins
Kato Pafos Archaeological Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1980, is a sprawling complex that encompasses remnants from various historical periods. This includes prehistoric sites, medieval structures, and Roman-era monuments. The park is renowned for its well-preserved mosaic floors depicting scenes from Greek mythology, found in several Roman villas within the site.
If you’re in Cyprus, this place is an absolute must. From stunning Roman mosaics to the Odeon theatre, Agora, ancient villas, and sacred sites — every step here takes you deeper into the island’s ancient past. We spent hours exploring the park, and it felt like walking through a massive open-air museum. The mosaics alone are worth the visit — especially the House of Dionysus, where colors and details have survived nearly 1700 years! The Odeon was another highlight — a small Roman amphitheatre with perfect acoustics and incredible atmosphere. It’s quiet, peaceful, and almost surreal to sit where Romans once gathered for music and theatre. ✅ Useful tips: • Go early in the morning — by midday it gets very hot and there’s little shade. • Wear comfortable shoes — paths are rocky and uneven. • Don’t forget a hat and sunscreen. • There are water vending machines placed around the park — super helpful!
Oksana O — Google review
Amazing Archaeological Site! Some of the best and abundant examples of roman mosaics ive ever seen. We went in August and it was hotter than hell so be prepared for the heat as there is very little shade and it's a very large site! Wasn't very busy, very cheap entry and plenty of free parking!
Damian C — Google review
Great place lots to see, very hot but the sea breeze helps. We spent approx 1 hour. If you can imagine it’s like an whole village has been discovered. The mosaic’ s have been well preserved and are stunning in the level of detail. What would be good is for a vitual/3d model was produce to bring the place to life as it would have been like I have seen on some documentaries. Take water.
Hayley C — Google review
Absolutely amazing place, if you like history and you are in Paphos you have to come here so many things to see that I recommend at least couple of hours preferably in the morning because of the heat and sun. Tickets are so cheap less than 5 euros and you get to see so much, from mosaics, ruins and entire amphitheater even a lighthouse to beautiful view of the coastline, definitely a must see in Paphos.
Kol2388 — Google review
This is an amazing place, the scale of the building remains and mosaics are incrdible. I had no idea it was so big when we paid a minimal amount to enter. The mosaic examples were preserved so well.
Emma T — Google review
Excellent site. Some extraordinary mosaics. Combine here with a visit to the archaeology museum as well which has some beautiful and ancient artifacts
Bill C — Google review
A large park, no shade, bring water. Spend 2-3 hours there. You will see beautiful mosaics!
Ferenc S — Google review
Huge, beautiful park with a lot to see if you're into ruins. If you're not, you might want to skip it as it's a lot of walking and very hot!

Castle
Paphos Castle, originally a Byzantine fort, has a rich history of destruction and reconstruction. Over the years, it has served as a prison and warehouse for salt. The castle stands at the edge of Paphos harbor and is one of the city's most recognizable landmarks. It hosts various events throughout the year, including operas during the Paphos Aphrodite Festival.
Paphos Castle is a small but interesting historic site right by the harbor. It doesn’t take long to visit, but the views from the top are beautiful, especially at sunset. Worth a quick stop while walking along the promenade.
Yara B — Google review
Being so closed to the Archeological site, it’s a must. 2,5 euros per person to go in. Some steps, no lift available, not wheelchair friendly. You’ll spend maybe 10 minutes here, just to admire the views (not a lot to see besides that). It’s still worth it for the views. There’s an excellent ice cream shop nearby.
André M — Google review
Nice little place to visit on the harbour. Entrance fee was a few euros each and kids were free. Good vantage point across Paphos. One of the many treasures to explore here
David F — Google review
I'm afraid I have to disagree about this castle. Aside from the architecture itself, there was really nothing inside. And access is restricted to the platform only, with no possibility of visiting the tower. Considering the entrance fee is the same as for other castles in Cyprus (2.5 euros), I believe more could be done to enhance the visitor experience. Perhaps by adding historical displays or providing more information about Paphos and the castle’s significance.
NANA D — Google review
Restricted access and took us less than 2 minutes to walk up the stairs and around the top. €2.50 each Views were stunning. We went up for the sunset BUT they kick you out at 4:30pm (20 minutes before prime sunset time) Probably not worth the money but go once and then you’ve seen it!
Sophie L — Google review
Walked around the area and captured some beautiful pics and waited for the sunset. Pafos (Paphos) Castle (Medieval Fort) was originally a Byzantine fort built to protect the harbour, and was rebuilt by the Lusignans in the 13th century. The girl statue in this area depicted is the "Sol Alter" by Cypriot artist Yiota Ioannidou, located in Paphos, Cyprus. It represents Aphrodite, the goddess of love
Arch S — Google review
A little overrated - there are better to see in Cyprus. Whilst the architecture itself is interesting, there isn't really much to see inside. The entrance fee (2.5 euros) is a bit steep for what is a 10-minute visit at best.
Norm P — Google review
You only need around 30 minutes to view the two floors of Paphos castle. There's not much to see inside except the history of the castle at the entrance, but you do get nice views of the Paphos harbour. Entrance fee is 2.50 euros.

The Place is a hidden gem in Paphos, offering a unique shopping and cultural experience for the whole family. With over 12 workshops featuring local artists, visitors can explore authentic handcrafted items and learn about local customs and traditions. The venue also provides accommodation with stunning views, making it an ideal destination for travelers. Whether you're interested in budget-friendly shopping or immersing yourself in the local arts and crafts scene, The Place has something to offer for everyone visiting Paphos.
Beautiful and authentic handmade products. Different kind of products from pottery to wine selections, spices and honey. It gives you a much better feeling buying products than from the plastic market nearby. Prices are good for self-made goods and staff is nice, helpful and explains a lot about the place. Some piece are made directly in the workshop. There is a cafe as well to sit down and watch the craftsman. Definitely go there and get quality products with a responsible feeling to the local people

Nice collection of Cyprus goods for taking home . Traditional products made here , from loom work , ceramics , glassware, and all types of Jams and honeys . All our reasonably priced and they all get wrapped , if necessary, in bubble wrap, to keep them safe . It’s a good little walk to get their passing other interesting shops .

What a wonderful experience! Fully recommend and well worth 10€pp so tip well as this is a fantastic experience and the pottery master himself (pictured, not me ha) is funny, polite and a true craftsmen. Thank you for such a lovely afternoon!
Adam W — Google review
The place has very original pafos staff it is very nice , you feel little bit like in a museum. You have also pottery class there. Huge minus - it is very expensive……..
Aleksandra M — Google review
Amazing place to come if you’re interested in seeing local arts such as fused glass, pyrography, leather making and pottery. I definitely recommend booking to take part in a pottery class with local potter kostas, with a vast knowledge of pottery and the arts he will guide you through the process of using a pottery wheel to make a one of a kind piece you can take home!
Roxanne T — Google review
This is run by local people who make the things sold. They do making lessons like pottery wheel classes. There is art, jewellery, pottery, fused glass, teas and herbs, toiletries and more. I hope it does well as much of the old town has closed down and been replaced by less local businesses. Please support it.

A lovely experience making pottery with Kostas! Would highly recommend this to everyone. Kostas gave us good information and guided us making our three lovely items. It was enjoyable, funny and informative.

Restaurant
Muse is a trendy restaurant and cafe located on a hillside in Paphos, offering breathtaking views of the city and coastline. It's known for its delicious food, especially the burgers, and exceptional cocktails. The modern design of the building with a sail-shaped bar adds to the amazing atmosphere that attracts both locals and tourists. Whether you're looking for fabulous food, great drinks, or stunning views, Muse has it all.
We didn’t expect much because it looks a bit fancy and touristic and it seemed empty. Service was smooth and welcoming. Waiting time reasonable. Portions were good. Just enough or even bigger than we could eat. Linguine, Vegan Burger, Kebabs, Club Sandwich, Gazpacho and Halloumi Bruschetta were very good! Spaghetti Carbonara a bit too heavy, but that’s just for our taste. Would I return? Yes, ideally for a dinner to enjoy amazing view at the sunset.
Łukasz B — Google review
This could be the real jewel in the old towns crown..location and atmosphere is a class of its own.!! But the food is not fresh especially the vegetables(frozen) and mash potatoes(instant) at lot seem over cooked. Need a management change the hostess is an ignorant lady who has no interest in customers feedback just get you feed and out the gate. But it such a shame because with the right team and better head chef it would fly.
MASON S — Google review
The restaurant has amazing view. Perfect for sunsets! The food is really delicious. There are different cocktails which are served in a great manner. I recommend it!
Elena B — Google review
Very much enjoyed our meal at Muse. The vegan burger was excellent and very well presented. The only thing I'd say is that for a vegan burger it was awfully close in taste like real meat. Some might love this, some not so much. For me it was a bit too "meaty" however still well made. The beef burger my partner had was done as he requested which was fab. The soft drinks are overpriced for the tiny bottles they come in. Inside they have fridges with meat and alive lobsters if that's your thing! The views from the place are fantastic.
Kin W — Google review
What a fabulous find. This tremendous restaurant is set away from the main busy streets of old town Paphos. Its a real treat. The food range is extensive and the quality of the food is fantastic, it's well presented and is top drawer. It started to rain whilst we were here, and the staff team immediately came to our aid to help move our lunch and drinks. Top staff team, well done and thanks.
Philly B — Google review
Researched this place on Tripadvisor before booking. Easy booking system and was easy to get to by taxi. Very aesthetically pleasing, great sunset photos and views across the town which was the only reason I wanted to book here. Having seen mixed reviews I didn’t have high expectations. Food was okay but we did expect a lot better, I left feeling hungry. The quesadillas on the menu states they come with a arrabiata sauce but didn’t, when we asked the server suggested we was wrong and got us some tzatziki instead… we did double check and was right, it would have made the dishes less dry. The pork chop was very dry and imo should be marinated after the cooking process to help prevent this. The strawberry caipirinha wasn’t great either, it lacked sugar! Service was poor when it was so quiet with a number of team on, our server didn’t seem interested in coming over to us. No upselling or interest in ensuring our experience was good. I get the feeling they take this place for granted. The service a far cry from what we had experienced both in our hotel and at some local bars where they were smiling and prompt with second and third drinks etc. on leaving we had no eye contact made, no one said good bye but they were very quick to take payment. Great place for photos and if you want somewhere that looks modern but that’s as far as it goes.
Steph W — Google review
Overrated. Location is nice but the food is nothing special for the price. We had salad, nicely prepared but taste was nothing special. I bought even better in supermarket. I was not impressed about the house wine too. I asked the waiter to clean the table but he didn't. Music was loud, it would be nice to reduce volume
Aurelija D — Google review
Tonight my boyfriend and I, dined at Muse in Paphos, and while the atmosphere was pleasant and the service friendly, the overall experience was disappointing. The service lacked attention to detail — basic items like salt and pepper were missing, bread was offered only after the starters had arrived, and the staff never checked on the food’s quality during the meal. Even when collecting plates with half the food untouched and the cutlery crossed, they did not inquire if everything was satisfactory. Toothpicks were also not provided after serving the pork chop. On the positive side, the waiting time was good, and the dishes arrived promptly. Unfortunately, the food itself was far below expectations. The pork chop was completely tasteless, the salad came unseasoned and without olive oil or vinegar, and the broccoli served with the pasta was undercooked and cold. While the chicken slices were enjoyable and the potatoes were fine, the pasta sauce was overly watery, and overall, the dish was below average. Although the restaurant’s atmosphere was nice, with clean tables, comfortable seating, and good wind protection, the quality of the food did not justify the prices. In summary, while the staff were polite, the service was inconsistent and the food was underwhelming, making the experience unsatisfactory.

Paphos Mosaics are ancient Roman structures in Cyprus, showcasing well-preserved mosaics depicting mythological scenes. The mosaics date back to the Hellenistic period and are considered among the finest in the world. The site includes mosaics from various periods, including the Hellenistic and Byzantine eras. Additionally, Paphos Castle, a Byzantine fort, offers a glimpse into history and hosts events like the Paphos Aphrodite Festival.
Pafos Archaeological Park, located in Paphos, Cyprus, is one of the island’s most significant historical sites. It showcases ruins from prehistoric times to the Middle Ages, with a strong emphasis on the Roman period. The park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is known for its well-preserved mosaics, ancient villas, and other historical structures. Highly recommend it when in Cyprus. We went in early March and temperature was 70F with blue sky and a gentle breeze. There were only a few visitors. You can also walk along Pafos Coastal Walkway, a scenic promenade along the coastline. It stretches from the Paphos Harbour area and extends past numerous historical sites, beaches, and natural landscapes, making it a popular route with a beautiful Mediterranean coastline.

The most beautiful Mosaics I've seen, on par with the ones in Madaba, Jordan. The colors are and composition are beautiful and stir the soul just like a work of art should. Don't miss this beautiful Paphos attraction inside the archeological park by the Harbor.

A truly heart lifting experience to see mosaics that are over 2000 years old. I wish I could get them to tile my bathroom if it lasts that long.
Kevin T — Google review
🎨 Prepare to be absolutely mesmerized by these extraordinary ancient mosaics! The level of craftsmanship and artistic detail is simply breathtaking - it's mind-boggling to think these were created thousands of years ago. The restoration work is impeccable, allowing us to see these masterpieces almost as vividly as their original viewers did. Each mosaic tells its own fascinating story, from mythological scenes to daily life depictions, with incredible attention to detail in every tiny tessera. The geometric patterns are mathematically precise, and the figurative scenes show amazing dimension and movement. The preservation efforts are outstanding, protecting these treasures for future generations. This is ancient art at its absolute finest - a must-see attraction that truly transports you back in time! Pro tip: Take a guided tour to fully appreciate the symbolism and historical context. You'll be amazed at how the colors have maintained their vibrancy after all these centuries! ✨🏺

Masterpiece of ancient art. A must see in Paphos. It's a pity that not all mosaics are properly exposed and visible to visitors. In summer it's best to visit early in the morning so to avoid the greatest heat.

Paphos Aphrodite Waterpark is the largest water park in the Paphos area, offering a unique natural landscape for aquatic adventures. Located in Kato Paphos, it is easily accessible by car or local bus. The park features high-speed water slides, a lazy river, wave surge pool, swimming areas, and a kids' water-play section. Visitors can also enjoy food and beverage options spread throughout the park within lush tropical surroundings.
Great fun for all the family. 11 of us went for the day and there was something for all ages. It wasnt packed, nothing was more than a 5 minute queue. Everyone is given a wristband which you can purchase anything in the park and then you pay when you leave. Ice cream was nice but can't comment on the rest as I only had time for a bottle of water and ice cream. Great day out.

We visited this park with the kids, and overall it’s a great place with plenty of attractions. I really liked their payment system — you get a wristband with a barcode, so you don’t need to carry your wallet or phone to buy drinks or food. Very convenient. However, there’s one big downside — the park gets very crowded. There are a lot of lounge chair areas, which means the park can hold a huge number of people, and because of that, the lines for rides become very long. We arrived about 30 minutes before opening, so for the first hour and a half we were able to enjoy the rides with no lines. But after that, it stopped being fun, and by 1:00 PM we had already left.

Online tickets get a 10% Discount. Went on Friday, towards end of September, no queues, variety of slides for all ages, wave pool, lazy river was the best 😁 (you can use the laziness river multiple times back to back! in comparison with other water parks, where you have to get out, in order for the next person to go). The toilets/ changing rooms / showers are in best condition and very very Clean! You don't need to carry your wallet (put your valuables in locker) they just scan whatever you consume on your bracelet and pay before leaving. They also have all necessities for water parks selling at good prices: slippers, bathing suits, flip flops, towels etc. Food was ok, a little bit pricey and you had to go one place for burger, another place to order your fries, or another for gyros, their portions are a bit small , for a child you need €15 for burger + fries + 1 soft drink, for an adult around €20 to be full. Not allowed to bring any snacks with you, as per their policy. I would definitely go again, but eaten well beforehand as for a group of 4-5 people, you can easily spend €150 on food and water. Nearly forgot! All the staff at their slides or food places are very polite, respectful. A++++

Fantastic day , everything is close and more than easy enough to get around, we have a 2 year old and 5 year old definitely lots for all ages, the price of food in this water park is expensive, we had a picture at the beginning which was you pick up on the wall of pictures on your way out for €10 I think that's a good price for the memory of a enjoyable day, all the staff were fantastic, the life guards were very safety minded which was great to see , all in all a great fun day .

Absolutely fabulous day of family fun. There are slides for every age group and for thrill seekers. Very clean and tidy, only draw back is that the food and drink is very expensive
Yvonne G — Google review
A really well-run waterpark, with loads of helpful and friendly staff, and plenty of vigilant lifeguards. Lots of different slides to keep everyone entertained. Recommend buying tickets in advance for 10% off, and there are occasionally 20% off voucher codes to be had. Waterpark facilities/food is cashless... payment using wristband barcode. Recommend pre-purchasing a "food-voucher" as this gives 20% discount too. Food and drink prices aren't too expensive... and food quality is good. Receipt attached for our costs. Have a great time there!

An absolute must-visit in Paphos! Paphos Aphrodite Waterpark is easily one of the best attractions in the area — clean, well-organized, and full of fun for all ages. The slides are amazing, from adrenaline-packed rides to relaxing lazy rivers. What really stood out was how friendly and attentive the staff were — safety is clearly a top priority, and they make sure everyone’s having a great time. The park is very family-friendly, with plenty of shaded areas, good food options, and short waiting times even on busy days. Everything is spotless, and the water feels perfectly maintained. We spent the whole day there and didn’t want to leave! If you’re visiting Paphos, don’t miss it — it’s the perfect mix of excitement, relaxation, and great service. Highly recommended!

It is suitable for kids above 120cm and to age up to 25. After that, most things are for much younger *than you*. 6 slides are extreme enough for adults. You can get 7Eur discount online, search for frog. Ticket does not include a 5eur locker for valuables. Also food is not included. No warm water for showering. No saunas. Sunshades are positioned incorrectly and do not protect from sun.

Agia Kyriaki Chrysopolitissa is a historical site in Paphos, Cyprus, featuring the ruins of a 13th-century church known for its colorful mosaic floor. The site was once home to one of Pafos' largest religious structures, with the remaining foundations showcasing the size and grandeur of the original church.
A fantastic and very understated location, we found it just walking past. Successive early Christian churches have been built on the same site, with mosaics and columns surviving from the original ones, and a very pretty small church still active. The boardwalk around it was closed but you can still get around the sides of the site and see it clearly.

We were there on Sunday for the 11 o'clock service in Polish. Very nice atmosphere and priests. I will go again

Amazing ancient church with many historic layers and foundations. The boardwalk is closed right now but will be repaired soon. The church is currently being used by the local Catholic parish & worth to visit their services! Amazing priests
Leonard S — Google review
Agia Kyriaki Chrysopolitissa is one of the most beautiful and historically significant churches in Paphos, built amid the ruins of an early Christian basilica dating back to the 4th century AD. The present church, constructed in the 16th century, stands gracefully above the ancient remains, blending Byzantine, Gothic, and later architectural elements into a serene and atmospheric setting. What makes this site truly special is the Apostle Paul’s Pillar, located just outside the church. According to tradition, Saint Paul was flogged at this very pillar when he came to Paphos to spread Christianity — a deeply symbolic reminder of the city’s early Christian heritage. Visitors can stroll along wooden walkways above the extensive archaeological remains of the original basilica, admire well-preserved mosaic floors, and enjoy the tranquil beauty of the modern church, which still serves the local congregation today.

The 13th century byzantine church is located in an archaeological site and is surrounded by mosaic floors and other foundations from centuries ago. The church was closed when I visited .

Stumbled across the church and site whilst in Paphos. Nice exhibit of old structures. There was an afternoon service in place with people singing which gave the place a peaceful ambiance. It is a small site worth visiting and is within walking distance of Kings shopping centre. Free to enter. I

An amazing place to go, just a short walk from the harbour. There is a boardwalk right around the sight so your above the ruins can see them more clearly especially the fragments of the mosaics, you can also go inside the church , if u r appropriately attired that is. There is a good fresco to see very atmospheric.
Stuart C — Google review
Nice little church. Interesting outside area with ruins, mosaics and fallen over pillars. The walkways feel a bit old and springy and make too much noise for comfort. Inside the church is a collection box for voluntary donations, you know the drill.

It prides itself on being inclusive and welcomes everyone to savor diverse surf and turf cuisine while taking in the breathtaking ocean view.
We enjoyed a lovely Eggs Benedict by the sea. Staff were great and attentive. We later during our hols had dinner. The paella was very, very good and tasty. Black and White crepe divine. Service amazing. Brilliant waiter. Highly recommended.

Me and my husband visited yesterday. We both got starters (whitebait & calamari) and a main (grouper and surf and turf). The food was incredible. The service was even better. The head waiter (forgotten his name now!) was so friendly and personable. He made conversation about his past, having lived in various coastal places in England which is where we are from. He spoke to us about the food we wished to order and made recommendations. We originally turned up without a reservation relatively early in the evening (around 5pm) and they were very accommodating. As the evening went on, the restaurant got busier but the staff continued to check in with us. For dessert, we both had a strawberry daiquiri which was huge! Fantastic experience and if we visit Paphos again, we will be sure to come back here!! PS. If you like parmasan truffle fries, you must order theirs!! They’re the best fries we have ever had!

We had the most unforgettable dining experience at this incredible restaurant in Paphos. The food was simply divine – every bite felt like perfection. We enjoyed lobster, prawns, and scallops, all cooked to absolute excellence with flavors that exceeded our expectations. But what truly made the evening exceptional was the service. James and Laura went above and beyond – their warmth, attention, and professionalism were unlike anything we’ve ever experienced. We genuinely felt cared for in the most special way. This is not just a restaurant; it’s an experience we’ll treasure. Without a doubt, one of the finest meals and services we’ve ever had. Highly, highly recommended!
Aleksandra V — Google review
We were taken aback by how good this restaurant is compared to any of the others we tried on our stay in paphos. The food, drinks, aesthetics and friendly serving staff were all in another league. The food was fresh and creatively flavoured. The cocktails were very good. The service was warm, elegant and professional. This was a high quality restaurant amid a sea of tourist traps. The prices were not particularly high relative the standard of what was delivered.
Neil F — Google review
Lovely meal towards the end of Paphos Harbour. Beer and a Mojito Scallops with Foie gras to share. - omg this was amazing. Seafood Risotto, very tasty with loads of seafood, sadly the risotto rice was over cooked. Squash and chickpea curry, great flavour. A lovely setting and view of harbour and overall good food. The service was a little slow but they were very busy. Staff were attentive and polite.
Tracey R — Google review
Lovely restaurant, in fact I’d say one of the best presented restaurants on the marina; the staff are lovely and well presented too. Clean environment even down to the toilets. Our only disappointment after a week of eating at other local venues was the price compared to the quality of the food. While all of the food was edible, its was all very sub average. The biggest disappointment was the bbq ribs that were tough to get off the bone; dry to eat; and had a very basic presentation. It came with, what was described as, a jack daniels bbq sauce but, in reality, tasted like a cheap bbq sauce. When you’re paying €20+ for a dish then you add two side dishes at €8+ each you expect the quality of food to match the venue. Sadly, with great disappointment, it did not. The espresso martinis (while not on the menu) were made for us. Again inconsistent, the first one being full of flavour and punchy, while the second one was lacklustre and watery. Great place for a beer, but there are way better food venues along the front. For example: Alea Cafe lounge bar, the ribs here fall off the bone and have tons of meat on them. After a €160 bill for two people to have two courses and two drinks we wouldn’t eat here again sadly. Especially when a similar meal out along the harbour would be a fraction of the price for often better quality food (avg. spend previously €60-70/night)
Christopher T — Google review
As other people are commenting the prices are very high, and us, as locals, we think that prices in the restaurants in the harbour area are all very high. We stopped here after reading other reviews that the food is amazing, it is good indeed, maybe not amazing, but the portions are less than in other restaurants and the prices high. We had small fish, risotto, curry, pork chop , 2 cocktails and 2 fresh juices and the bill came over 150 euro. The staff was always smiling and polite. We had at the end complimentary liquor shots.

Chinese restaurant
Xiang Gong Chinese Restaurant is a popular spot, so making a reservation is advisable, especially for special occasions. The restaurant's interior is well-decorated and has a pleasant atmosphere. The owner takes the time to explain the menu and make diners feel welcome. Despite some hiccups with orders, such as receiving different dishes than expected, the food quality is consistently praised. Overall, it's considered a great place for enjoying delicious Chinese cuisine with family or friends.
Wow this place was amazing. The food was great and the service was amazing. I highly recommend the crispy chili beef. My Autistic daughter is really fussy and she really enjoyed the Chicken nuggets and fries. She asked to go back on another night and that is very rare.
Phil B — Google review
Simply the best! This place really does live up to the great online reviews. Best Chinese we have had by a mile. The chicken curry, schezwan chicken and chow mein was incredible. Drinks were a little pricey. We will definitely be back!!!
L M — Google review
Booked a table for two using the online booking system having read rave reviews about the food. Received email confirmation of the booking so I responded saying how much I was looking forward to my visit and asking if traditional veg such as Pak Choi and Choi sum would be available. I received a reply to the request saying that those vegetable were out of season (untrue) and the only traditional veg would be beansprouts. That should have set my alarm bells ringing. We arrived for our booking and began by ordering duck pancakes, spare ribs and tempura prawns as starters. All arrived warm and cooked well enough - if a little bland. The next course should have been wan ton soup but as soon as the bowls arrived I didn’t even have to taste it to see it wasn’t as it should be. The soup was the consistency of jelly and a dark brown colour, just like a thick English gravy. My partner confirmed this by dipping in his spoon and confirming it did actually taste like bisto! I called the manager over and explained we wouldn’t be eating the soup because wan ton soup is suppose to be a clear fresh broth. The Greek manager looked at me like I was in the wrong and said ‘soy gravy soup’ but he did remove the bowls from our table. The main dish was suppose to be a street style noodle dish but I’ve never eaten in a Chinese that serves smoked bacon in noodles!! Thera nothing (from the staff to the food) that is remotely authentically oriental about this place and the whole experience was a disappointment from start to end. One I won’t be repeating.

I’m a Peking Duck enthusiast. And during my week in Paphos I made it a mission to try every top spot for Peking Duck. Xiang Gong is, without a doubt, THE BEST CRISPY DUCK IN PAPHOS! Crispy, flaky, juicy, packed with spices and flavor. The portion is generous, though if you’re ordering delivery, I recommend asking for extra hoisin sauce as the standard serving is a bit small. Hope this helps a fellow crispy duck lover. Enjoy! 🦆 Crispy beef is also delicious, and the noodles are also great Chinese-style noodles.

The food was nice however the service was abysmal. The waitress was rude and stared making an uncomfortable atmosphere. She did not come back to take our order which meant I had to ask the bar for help. The waitress was extremely rude and helped everyone but us. None of the front of house staff asked how the food was and did not ask if we wanted to order dessert or more drinks. It made for a really uncomfortable atmosphere. In addition to this, the food was slow. It is unfortunate as the food was nice but I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone.
JC — Google review
Lovely food but the time spent waiting for it to arrive just wasn't worth it. We were there almost 2.25 hours with 2 young children. Bad atmosphere as well unfortunately as most patrons are looking around angrily waiting for food/drinks to eventually turn up. A shame because the food was probably the best Chinese food I have had, but we were just not hungry anymore by the time it actually arrived.

The hotel features 187 cool, contemporary rooms and suites with balconies or terraces, as well as adult-only pools, spa treatment rooms, and sundeck areas on the dazzling rooftop.
Amazing hotel, great location on the seafront and within walking distance of the town and harbour. The staff were really great throughout the hotel. Veronika and Oscar in the Mosaic Restaurant looked after us all week and were lovely. As was Cindy one of the hotel cats. As a vegan I was very well served in the buffet at breakfast and dinner. Great labelling on everything so I knew exactly what I could eat. When there wasn't a vegan main course at dinner I spoke to the chefs and they were extremely helpful and willing to prepare something for me. A special mention to Mario who prepared a special meal for me and brought it to my table on three nights. A very happy customer. We had a late pickup (6pm) when we left and Reception helpfully arranged a room for us to shower in after checkout, which meant we could make full use of the pool on our last day. Air conditioning very controllable with simple controls, not like some hotels where they reset your chosen temperature. Thoroughly recommended.
Craig P — Google review
We arrived at the hotel on Wednesday night with a rental car, and the hotel’s parking was very convenient. We got a room with a sea view. The rooms are very clean and pleasant. Breakfast was very good and varied so that everyone can find something to eat. Coffee is ordered from the waiters in the dining room, and it was of very high quality and exactly as we asked for. The hotel has three pools, but you need to get there early in the morning to get a sunbed. In my opinion, there aren’t enough sunbeds. The food and drinks at the pool are very expensive, and the prices don’t match the portions. Bringing outside food and drinks is forbidden, and the pool staff point it out, which was quite unpleasant to say the least. Overall, the hotel staff is very nice and welcoming, especially the concierge. The hotel’s location is excellent and within walking distance of everything. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay – I highly recommend it.

🌟 Exceptional Stay at Almyra Hotel, Paphos We recently returned from a truly memorable stay at the Almyra Hotel in Paphos, and we couldn’t be more impressed. From the moment we arrived, the warmth and professionalism of the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. A special shoutout to Dominica, Elenei, Oscar, Stefan, and Alexander and Marcus—each of them went above and beyond to ensure our experience was nothing short of exceptional. Whether it was thoughtful service, helpful recommendations, or simply their friendly presence, they made a lasting impression and elevated our stay to something truly special. The hotel itself is stunning, with beautiful views, elegant design, and a relaxing atmosphere that made it hard to leave. But it’s the people who made it unforgettable. Thank you, Almyra team, for a perfect getaway. We’ll be back next year

We came to a family vacation, 8 people, to celebrate and to relax. The rooms were big and comfortable. The view from the rooms was fantastic, to see the sunset and the sea is beautiful. The hotel had several restaurants and the food at the buffet was very good and delicious. The service was excellent from the reception through the bellstaff till the bartenders at the pool. Always with a smile and the feeling was wonderful. It was my first time visiting Cyprus and I enjoyed it very much, highly recommended.

We visited for 2 weeks in August & had the best holiday we extended our holiday for a 3rd week. The location is fantastic, a short walk to the harbour where we ate out in a different place every night. The hotel overlooks the gorgeous sea & the watersports opposite is amazing, the guys are all so friendly there. The hotel amenities are great for kids & adults. The staff are so friendly, there are so many to mention who made our holiday exceptional & really looked after us (apologies for the incorrect spellings of names): Eleni, Dominica, Alexandros, Mario, Stefan. They work so hard, were so friendly and gave exceptional service. We loved lunching by the pool bar in the day, the food was delish! The rooms we stayed in were clean, modern and well looked after. The gym is small but well enough equipped! We will look forward to returning.

We went for a week vacation, couple with 2 kids + baby and it was one of the best vacations we've ever had. This is a fantastic hotel, the staff from the super attentive doorbells to reception, pool and dining areas employees were so nice and friendly - the food is great, at a very high level. We got upgraded to a sea view room, 2 connecting rooms so we also had some quiet and when we left, since our flight was late after check out, we got a complementary refreshing room for 1hr so we can shower and organize before the flight. This one is very much recommended and we will come back again to Almyra.
Arie D — Google review
Overall we were slightly disappointed, photos made the hotel look better than it did when we arrived. The rooms were average. The parking is convenient. Breakfast was very nice. Some of the staff are rude and simple things like bringing extra water to the room cost a service fee onto of the extra cost of water itself unlike other hotels we stayed at in Cyprus. The location is good - a close walk to restaurants and shops.

Beautiful restaurant and really worth a visit if you appreciate fine dining. We went on a Sunday evening at end October with our 2 daughters and sat on the open terrace as the weather still clement. We had a couple of mojitos which were lovely then a bottle of Shiraz with dinner. A selection of starters to share and then mains which were also great. Pork belly super soft and tasty. Only slight let down was the chicken kebab which could have been a little less dry. Service levels exceptional throughout.

The setting is perfect: a charming terrace, stunning sunset views, and gentle, relaxing music that creates a magical atmosphere. Absolutely amazing experience at Divine Peak! The setting is stunning with a beautiful atmosphere, and the service is top-notch. This was my third visit to the restaurant, and I got to try their new menu — the mushroom risotto was incredibly flavorful, and the burrata appetizer was fresh and delicious. My friend ordered the filet mignon and lobster tail and couldn’t stop talking about how amazing they were. For dessert, we enjoyed the new orange pie and, of course, my all-time favorite, the lemon tart. Overall, a fantastic dinner spot in Paphos — clean, quiet, and with a classy vibe. I would suggest making a reservation as we went on a weekend and it can get busy but was really easy to do with the online booking system they have.

Great views of the sea and lighthouse. Sadly the food was not worth the price. Frozen seafood. The Halloumi starter was amazing with the honey foam, but the scallops were tasteless. We did not get asked how we liked our steak cooked. It came out medium and very dry, also tasteless. The lobster was dry, overcooked, and again tasteless. I used all the sauce provided to give it something. Very disappointing considering the service was good and the view spectacular.

This imposing Roman villa was the residence of a proconsul or governor, and is now divided between rooms for official functions and those for private use. The mosaic of Theseus and the Minotaur found in its southeast quarter is truly beautiful, illustrating how much labour went into its preparation.
This is believed to be the villa of the roman governer and has almost 100 smaller rooms around a wide patio. The well preserved and most known mosaic of this roman villa ruins shows Theseus and the Minotaur. It also has the row of columns most often publicly shown.

Fantastic Preservation Works at this Villa, Would Recommend a visit. €4.50 for Adults, Free for Children. Other Villas to look around, QR Code available on site to have Audio guide as you walk around at your own pace. Lots of great detail went into this work.
James H — Google review
The mosaic of Theseus itself is fantastic, the pattern surrounding it representing the labyrinth and thread of Ariadne was an especially interesting detail. The row of collums further back seems to be a good and already poplular spot to take a new instagram picture. When compared to the neighboring House of Aion, the Villa of Theseus fall a bit short, though, as the architecture of the villa is barely explained, and the mosaic could be "presented" in a more suitable way - a sun roof or better placement of the viewing platform would make it easier to see and study it.
Marco W — Google review
Amazing mosaics and the size of the house is very impressive.

Acts 1::6-12. This is the house of Sergius Paulus the Roman governor. This is the place where the apostle Paul made Elymas the magician blind according to the Bible.

In Room 36 of the House of Theseus, you can find the mosaic that gave the name to the palatial complex: The mosaic of Theseus and the Minotaur. It is a true masterpiece and one of the highlights of the whole Paphos Archaeological Park. It is not to be missed by any means. The mosaic depicts Theseus about the hit the Minotaur with a deadly blow with spectators looking from a distance. Looking just South and East of the viewing platform you will notice a few rooms with mosaics and remains of red bricks and marble cladding. These are the luxurious Roman baths of the villa.

Nestled on a small rock near the picturesque Kato Paphos harbor, the Church of Panagia Theoskepasti is a stunning example of Byzantine architecture with roots tracing back to the 10th century. Originally built during Cyprus's time under the Byzantine Empire, this sacred site was reconstructed in 1923 and stands as both a historical landmark and an active spiritual hub.
Nice to see from the outside. It's an old church located in the city center of Paphos. You can go outside in certain hours. It's located on a stone
Mateusz G — Google review
Seemed nice on the outside and the location definitely adds interest to it but, although I stayed in the area and passed by multiple times every day, never actually saw it open. There are several good eateries nearby.

I wonder if the priest is paid full time for keeping this public monument closed most of the times, like it's his own building

An amazing array of archeological finds over a considerable area, ranging from prehistoric times to the middle ages. The most impressive are the four Roman villas. One has yet to be properly investigated and there are doubtless many more discoveries to be made. However the mosaic floors are stunning and well worth the visit. Be aware that there is little respite from the sun, so take a sun hat and plenty of water.
David H — Google review
This old church is literally named "covered by God" as it was built on a cliff and was clearly visible to pirate raiders from afar. However, when the pirates got closer to the shore, thick mist covered the entire area essentially hiding the church, making it impossible to locate. A great sight to visit and very close to the coastal walkway. Open during the day, free for anyone to visit.

Looks good although it's thousand years old. We came Sunday morning and heard some of the service. Although I advice to visit another day. Less people inside and you'll be able to watch it through

House of Aion is an ancient Roman villa with a mosaic floor that is considered one of the most exceptional works of ancient Roman art. The villa was probably used as a reception room and contains wall paintings in the Archaeological Museum in Warsaw.
The quality of the mosaics is just wonderful. The facial expressions and colours are amazing, so incredibly detailed and vivid, definitely master craftsmanship and survived all this time. Well worth downloading the guide, the audio gives the background and detail of what you're looking at, plus the photos are so much better than the ones I take!

Archaeological museum
The Archaeological Site of Nea Paphos is a sprawling area filled with ancient ruins, including tombs, villas, and a fortress. The site also boasts well-preserved Roman mosaics depicting ancient mythology. Visitors can explore the Medieval Castle and enjoy stunning views of the water and harbor. The area is bustling with waterfront restaurants, shops, and yachts, creating a vibrant atmosphere that blends seamlessly with its rich historical significance.
Wonderful place. Be sure to apply sunscreen before coming and bring a hat and maybe a portable fan. It can get very hot, even in the early morning. Every mosaic has a short explanation in English and some even in braille. The mosaics seem to be very well kept. I would advise to read a little about the place before coming (Lonely Planet’s guide for exemple has some useful information), so that you already know a little about the place before coming. There are no audio guides but at the entrance there’s a QR code to download an app. Also, toilets by the entrance machine, that were clean. Also, some vending machines available and a fresh bottle of water is only 50 cents. The entrance fee for each adult is 4,5 euros. Highly recommended, and very close to the main hotels and resorts. We came on foot but there’s a big free parking lot nearby, with some shade.
André M — Google review
A must-go! Very well-kept site with amazing mosaics, very reasonable ticket price, clean toiletries, vending machines and adjacent bus stop. All very convenient even in a scorching hot day. Partially accessible for wheelchair users

If you just want to look at a mosaic and push off, allow an hour. If you are actually interested in history and will read the information available allow at least 3 hours. We were there for 2.5 and only left because we were hungry but didn't get around it all. Probably boring for little kids. A well presented piece of history
Jeremy S — Google review
Beautiful setting with a stunning view of Aphrodite’s Rock. There’s parking nearby and a small tunnel that leads to the beach. One gift shop at the entrance for souvenirs. Showers are available, though a bit tricky to figure out. A short hike up to the rock offers an even better panoramic view — totally worth it!
Parul A — Google review
A beautiful site with beautiful scenery. The mosaics are quite breathtaking. Parking is just across the road and is free. To get in to the site it is €4.50 but it is worth it. We took in some snacks and water/soft drink but we were very mindful of where we were. There is the odd bin in some areas for any rubbish. A very clean and tidy area and I would definitely suggest going for a visit 😁
Juliet T — Google review
If you like history and Roman things this is for you. Fairly cheap at €4:50 per person for a UNESCO site. The site was huge! We didn't get all the way round so another visit in the future may be an option. Well worth visiting.
Mathew T — Google review
Not checking the opening times before we visited, we accidentally arrived just as they were closing. However the security team were very kind and still allowed us to see the theatre for 10 minutes and didn't charge us. It was a rushed visit but we thoroughly enjoyed stopping by nonetheless. A well looked after archeology site and fantastic view of the coast.

Must see in Cyprus! I suggest to visit in the late afternoon, so it is not so hot&sunny, plus - all pictures are much better is so „golden hour”, when the sun is going down👌 Very good prepared, with nice app - so you can listen to audio guide at every point. Take a bottle of water with you, it’s 1-2 hours walk (no rush😊)

Lighthouse Beach in Paphos is a serene and easily accessible spot, offering a relaxing atmosphere away from the city. To reach the beach bar, visitors can park at the nearby Baths of Aphrodite public parking lot and make their way down to the sand. The area also features a fish restaurant overlooking the beach. Despite ongoing reconstruction, the cafe still serves excellent coffee and fresh orange juice with a breathtaking view of the sea.
This beach is in a fantastic location because it is located right along a walk that runs along the entire bay and runs alongside the archaeological sites. It is possible to rent sunbeds and umbrellas, there is a bar on the beach, there are toilets and showers. The umbrellas are well spaced from each other and there are not too many. It is a very relaxing beach from which you can see the sunset over the sea.
Erminia — Google review
🌅 Nice city beach that's super convenient if you're staying in Paphos! The location is perfect for a quick dip or sunset stroll, and the water is crystal clear and refreshing. While it's a pleasant spot for swimming and sunbathing, consider exploring some of the stunning beaches just outside town for a more spectacular experience. The promenade is well-maintained and lined with restaurants, making it easy to grab a meal after your beach time. Good for families as the waters are calm and there are facilities nearby. Recommend for a relaxed beach day if you don't want to travel far, but if you're seeking that wow-factor, venture to the outer beaches. Nice mix of sand and pebbles, and the umbrellas and sunbeds are reasonably priced. 🏖️
Tom D — Google review
Dont let the 1 star reviews put you off going to this beach. Yes it has a Rough under foot, rocky entry to the waters edge, a not so blue sea due to the seaweed, this cannot be helped. Near the short pier there is less seaweed and not so rocky. Waves all day long = fun. Further right along the beach is more rocky and slimy with the seaweed. The rock pools form nice little dipping ponds to cool off in. Sun loungers are a bonus, all had cushions for a comfortable sun bath. 2.50 Euro for each bed and 2.50 for an umbrella. All in all it may not be the best beach but the facilities we used were spot on. Toilets. Showers. Changing rooms. Food and drinks. Play park. Nice and quiet. I cannot grumble. I'm not easily pleased but I would definitely not rate it a 1 star like some people have.
Wayne B — Google review
Lovely beach with comfortable beach loungers. Great bar with food and drinks at very reasonable prices, changing rooms, toilets and showers. Vito, the beach attendant is so kind and goes above and beyond to make your visit enjoyable. Love this place.

A lovely beach, plenty of sun loungers and shades. €2.50 for a bed plus €2 for the brolly. There is a great cafe bar here too. With freshly squeezed orange juice €3.50 and good beer. Operated by some great people who like a laugh with you. Also this is a great place to watch the sun go down. 👌❤️

This beach is not so touristy I’d say and probably a bit more wild. The one thing I love about the beach is unwinding to the sunset. The views are spectacular. Great place for taking pictures. Mine are from an older-type camera so probably not the best quality.

St. Paul's Church and archaeological site in Paphos, Cyprus, holds great historical and religious significance. According to tradition, the ancient white marble pillar on the site is where the apostle Paul was flogged during his visit to Cyprus in 1st century AD. The area also features the ruins of the Panagia Chrysopolitissa Basilica and a modern Greek Orthodox church called Agia Kyriaki Chrysopolitissa with beautiful mosaics often used for weddings.
A free archaeological site to visit with a lot of interesting buildings. The main building is the small church in the centre, surrounded by mosaic floors and St Paul's pillar, which is just over 5 foot white pillar. There is also a Hammam on one of the corners of the site and the ruins of an earlier church. There was a walkway round the site that is closed for repairs. The site it can be improved, but there are some information signs around it.
Angie O — Google review
Christians come from all over the world to follow in the steps of St. Paul, and they come to see this remarkable site. The Bible tells in Acts 13 of St. Paul visiting Paphos. Tradition says that he was whipped at this place for teaching about Jesus. I love this site and consider it a "must see" when visiting Cyprus; I have visited here many times over the years. Sadly, this time, the entire walkway over the ancient basilica (with its wonderful mosaic floors) has been roped off. There is no signage, and no explanation for the closure. I hear that it has been closed now for several months. It is an absolute crime that this great site has been neglected by authorities. When people come from around the world to see such an important site, they should not be met with a neglected, closed gate - especially on such a wonderful historical & religious treasure.
Anna I — Google review
A most beautiful church sitting within an archaeological site. The church is 400 years old and going to Latin Mass on Sunday felt very special.
Alistair R — Google review
A shame the walkway is out of order to have a closer look, you cannot access the church (unless open on the other side which I didn't go to). Not much to see but It is next to the catacombs so can do both while in the area We parked on a side street less than 10 minutes away
Julie M — Google review
VERY beautiful place. Closed down. A few people are sitting around the place that is out of place as they do not look like tourist. We came from South Africa to see this. Very disappointed that there is no notice ahead of time that the place is under construction.
Elene J — Google review
It was being rebuilt ( some paths) when we visited it. But it's quite impressive architecture and worth a visit if nearby. The church is operating buy as mass was being given we couldn't go in.
Laura F — Google review
Eye opening experience, the only thing I wish is that the walkway was open to actually view it from a closer viewpoint.

St. Paul's Pillar in Paphos, Cyprus, is a site steeped in both historical and religious significance. According to tradition, this ancient column marks the spot where the apostle Paul was supposedly flogged during his visit to Cyprus in the 1st century AD. Visitors to St. Paul's Pillar can marvel at the historical significance of the site while taking in its serene atmosphere. The pillar itself is a captivating sight, standing as a testament to the rich history of the region. While the pillar is a focal point, the surrounding area also offers opportunities for reflection and exploration. Visitors can stroll through the adjacent ruins, imagining the bustling ancient city that once thrived in this location. The site's location in Paphos adds to its allure, with its picturesque coastal views and charming atmosphere. Whether visitors are religious pilgrims seeking spiritual connection or history enthusiasts eager to uncover the past, St. Paul's Pillar offers a memorable experience for all who visit.

Guests can relax by the lagoon-style pools, enjoy spa treatments, or make use of the gym and tennis courts.
We'd never been before but can now understand why people return time after time. Nothing was too much trouble. The team were efficient and friendly, whether it was at reception, in the restaurants, pool, bars or cleaning the rooms. Food was delicious ... and of course far too tempting. It was a good job that Cristiano did such excellent exercise classes each day. Loved that you never felt packed in. Sunbeds spaced far a part in the gardens not to feel close to others.

From the moment I arrived at Asimina Suites Hotel, I felt completely welcomed and cared for. The service is truly exceptional – the staff go above and beyond to make sure every detail of my stay is perfect. My suite was spacious, beautifully designed, and spotless, with a stunning sea view that made every morning special. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, ideal for anyone seeking a peaceful getaway. The pools and private beach area are immaculate, with plenty of comfortable loungers. Breakfast and dinner were outstanding – fresh, varied, and delicious, with attentive service that made dining a pleasure. What really stands out here is the feeling of personal attention. I wasn’t just another guest – I was made to feel valued. The combination of luxury, comfort, and genuine hospitality makes Asimina Suites a place I would return to without hesitation. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a refined, relaxing, and unforgettable stay in Cyprus.

Traveled from the UK and had an incredible stay here in beautiful Paphos. The hotel is adults-only, which made it wonderfully relaxing and peaceful. The staff provided impeccable service, always friendly, and they truly paid attention to every detail. The rooms were spotless, and everything felt well cared for. The food at the hotel was amazing, with plenty of variety and high quality in every meal. We especially enjoyed the Greek night, which was a fantastic introduction to Cypriot culture and made the stay even more memorable. On top of that, the views were breathtaking and there were plenty of activities to enjoy, so it never felt boring. Highly recommend for anyone looking for the perfect mix of comfort, relaxation, and great hospitality. Can’t wait to revisit!

I had such a good week staying here. The staff were really friendly and professional, we did breakfast only and it was well above expectations. Our room was always well serviced and the views from our balcony were great. The location wasn't central which was nice as it meant there was not much traffic around the area but a bus stop practically outside if you wanted to catch a quick ride to the harbour and there were plenty of shops, restaurants and ice cream within walking distance. The hotel had a lovely aesthetic, a little retro, a little bougie and very well maintained. We visited the spa a few times, the prices were similar to UK for massages but well worth it - really nice space to relax. We never had any issues getting a spot around the pool but with the beach and jetty also to choose from I don't see this ever being an issue in high season. Room service was exceptional and on more than one night we had dinner delivered and just chilled out watching some dvds that were available behind the reception desk. We even had yoga mats delivered to our room so we could do our own workouts but every day there were aqua aerobics, yoga or stretching available for all guests - aqua aerobics was fun to do. Splashy but fun. There is a mini market in the hotel which was similar priced and even cheaper for some items than the closest mini market external to the hotel and the lady who worked here is 10/10. We popped in daily to get poolside snacks and drinks and it never broke the bank. There are certain dress codes for certain restaurants but nothing out of the ordinary for a 5 star hotel. I would absolutely return here - we went as a group of 3 but I think even going as a solo traveller I'd book again.
Heather L — Google review
One of the best holidays we have been on staying at Asimina Suites. We had a lovely relaxing time at the adults only hotel. The pool is lovely and there are plenty of sunbeds. The rooms are clean and everything is replenished every day without even having to ask. The staff are exceptional and a real asset to the hotel. There is a huge variety of choice in the restaurant and the food is delicious. A special shoutout to Mahmoud on the show cooking who made the best crepes and omelettes at breakfast and always greeted us with a friendly smile. Thank you to Cristiano too for providing entertainment by the poolside and classes in the hotel, he is a real credit to the hotel and we encourage everyone to join him for aqua gym as he is super fun and always has a smile on his face. The hotel is perfect for a relaxing stay, directly on the beach and with music entertainment each night including a Greek night with singing and dancing! There is a path along the seafront all the way to Paphos harbour which takes about 45 minutes and is a pretty walk. It’s the small things in the hotel that you wouldn’t even think of which make it an absolutely wonderful hotel to stay in and receive 5 star service from start to finish. From the restaurant staff to the pool staff such as Mo and the team providing food, drinks and cold flannels by the poolside, to housekeeping and reception and all those that work behind the scenes too that make this hotel incredible. We would definitely recommend and hope to return in the future.

Very pleasant hotel, nice rooms, we had a private pool with garden view which increased privacy, room very clean and spacious. Staff very friendly and pampering, always on attention for any requests or needs. Beach a bit rocky with a floating pier that is a bit tricky to manage if waves are a bit high. Restaurants very good, food fresh and very tasty. A bit pricey on water bottles at dinner. I recomnend this hotel and if i may attach a note for management, you might consider slight renovations. Dvd's and usb sockets are a bit nostalgic.
Tommy B — Google review
This hotel is amazing, the staff have gone above and beyond in service and helping me celebrate my 40th. We still have a day's left and we will definitely be returning. Breakfast is fantastic and the chef makes amazing eggs. Coffee and juice is brought to your table. Lunch in the beach restaurant is second to non, and dinner in the beach restaurant is some of the best I have ever had, they also made me a fantastic chocolate birthday cake. The beach wait staff are also wonderful. The cleaners come back in evening with clean towels and water. The only ever so slightly downside is the inside al carte restaurant where the staff we not friendly and the food was ok but not amazing.

TrySegway offers an unforgettable experience in Kato Paphos, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the top destinations in Cyprus. The tour guide, Michael, provides personalized tours tailored to each group's preferences. Even those with previous Segway experience found the additional training and information valuable, especially when navigating hills and rough terrain. The off-road Segways with large tires ensure a comfortable ride for all participants, including younger riders.
Went out with Michael on this Segway this morning, and it was fab! We went along the harbour and coastal/beach parts. Could see the mountains and beautiful landscapes in distance and Michael was very friendly and approachable! Would 150% recommend!

We had a truly wonderful and fascinating Segway tour! Our guide was such a cheerful and humorous person, which made the experience even more enjoyable. He took his time with us, explaining everything in a very clear and engaging way. The ride itself was beautiful, and he captured so many great photos and videos for us, which he shared afterwards. We were genuinely impressed and can only recommend this tour to everyone! Thank you Michael & Lola (his dog)
Christos K — Google review
Michael was a great guide who totally tailored the experience for us. Although we have used Segways before the extra training and information provided by TrySegway made me question the comprehensiveness of previous training. Maybe it’s because we were going up and down hills and on some slightly rough ground. These Segways were more comfortable with the big off Road tyres and even my young son (1.42m tall) managed the journey fine. Good distance covered, with lovely chat and some magic tricks at a beach cafe. Overall a great way to see some sights, experience the cool Segways and have fun for a few hours in the sun. We had been struggling to hire jet skis in the winter but he even went to the effort of calling a company he knew to see if they could help.

What a fantastic day we had! It was such a great activity, and I’m so pleased we did it. We booked for the four of us to celebrate someone’s birthday, and I have to say, Michael made the day extra special for the occasion. Our guide was Michael Fournaris, and he’s an incredible man. He was so personable, taking the time to learn our names and sharing stories about his life. He was charismatic, charming, and funny, instantly putting us at ease, which was great since we had a few nervous first-timers in the group. He’s also extremely skilled at what he does. My wife and I have ridden before, but we didn’t receive the level of training or explanation that Michael gave us. He was thorough, informative, and made the experience even more special with his personal touch—chatting with all of us, stopping for a drink at the Lighthouse Beach Bar, showing us some magic tricks, and going the extra mile for the birthday celebration with a card from him and his adorable dog, Lola. The trip itself was fantastic, though we did have a couple of minor hiccups (but we’re a very easy-going group!). The police stopped Michael during our training session—the first time he’s been stopped in over five years! We also encountered a rather difficult guy who decided to stand in the middle of the path and completely ignored the many (MANY) bell rings from Michael, then had the nerve to have a go at him! But none of this dampened our spirits. Michael took us through the harbor and along the coastal path, past Lighthouse Beach, and up towards what I believe was the Elysium Hotel before heading back. It was a beautiful day—so hot and sunny, with incredible views of the sea. Michael also took some great pictures and a couple of excellent videos, which are wonderful digital memories. I honestly couldn’t recommend this enough.

The Coastal Broadwalk View Point is a must-visit destination for anyone looking to soak in the stunning beauty of the Mediterranean. This well-designed promenade, crafted from concrete blocks, offers an easy and enjoyable route perfect for leisurely strolls or bike rides. As you wander along, you'll encounter several scenic spots like Wrexi Beach and Erik's Cove, each providing breathtaking views that are hard to resist. The ambiance is particularly enchanting during sunset when the sky meets the sea in a spectacular display of colors.

Really nice walking path going thru the coast line. Seems like its pretty new with many places where you can take a sit and enjoy amazing views. Really good for walking or cycling
Artūras S — Google review
(Translated by Google) A well-thought-out promenade made of concrete blocks that stretches along the Mediterranean coast. Good for both a simple walk and a city bike ride - I warn you that this is an attraction for most of the day, because it's impossible not to stop every now and then to admire the surrounding views. Pleasantly lit in the evening. Along the route there is plenty of space for picnics in the bosom of nature (either on a blanket spread out on the grass or on a stone table under a roof), many benches and trash bins, free (and clean!) toilets and changing rooms on the beaches, and at two points you can come across outdoor gyms. To sum up: it is a paradise for people who love active recreation and like to be surrounded by greenery and beautiful landscapes.

26Toumpallos - Hellenistic Rock-cut Underground Complex

4.9

Historical landmark
Toumpallos, a fascinating Hellenistic rock-cut underground complex, dates back to the late 4th century BC and is believed to have served as a sanctuary. This remarkable site features an array of chambers in various shapes—rectangular, circular, and semi-circular—making it one of the finest examples of pre-Roman religious architecture found in Paphos.
Amazing to see the scale of the carved out rooms, it’s not easily accessible if you’re a bit wobbly when walking, and definitely not accessible if you’re disabled (in a wheelchair, blind, etc…).
Varick C — Google review
The underground rock-cut chambers in Toumballos represent with most certainty a Hellenistic sanctuary dated by researchers to the end of the 4th century BC. This series of chambers of different shapes (rectangular, circular, semi-circular) might very well be the neatest example of pre-Roman religious architecture in Paphos. Long narrow steps by the northeast of the complex will lead you underground to a smaller set of steps on the left and a series of partly excavated chambers on the right. Take the steps on your left and then another left to enter a circular chamber. On the left of the chamber, you will notice a niche with a carved basin at its floor. On the right, you will see the eroded exit to a vestibule flanked by to niches. The niche to the right has steps whereas the one on the left has narrow rectangular carved holes. Take the exit opposite the way you came in to reach the long vaulted corridor which has 4 niches on its eastern wall. Proceed South noticing a semi- circular benched room followed by a another circular room with a niche. The last room before exiting is a partly collapsed rectangular room. The long religious use of the site is highlighted by the construction of an early Christian basilica church on top of it. The apse of the church can be appreciated protruding into the vestibule south of the first circular chamber. This secluded part of the Paphos Archaeological Park is seldom visited and therefore provides some sense of 'discovery' as one explores a rare example of pre-Roman Hellenistic architecture.

Castle Apartment is a charming accommodation option located near the sea and restaurant area. The hosts are praised for their hospitality, and the apartment is described as clean and well-equipped with amenities such as a washing machine, small kitchen, fridge, two bedrooms, and a spacious living room. Guests can also enjoy a small balcony with a table for relaxing moments. Additionally, free parking is available on-site.
Great view from the terrace! Super apartment with 2 bedrooms, kitchen, living room and terrace. Sea view! The apartment was very clean and with many amenities. There are many restaurants, cafes and shops around. Intercity buses stop far away and you have to take a taxi to the apartment. There is a taxi rank right next to the apartment, the road to the airport is about 15 minutes. Great feeling to sit on the terrace and drink your coffee. The communication with the hosts was very good, the answers were quick. Very good accommodation directions. We recommend the apartment and would book it again if we visit Paphos.

Liked · Hosts are great, apartment is clean, you will have everything: washing machine, small kitchen, fridge, 2 bedrooms and 1 big room, small balcony with table where you can have tea, coffee, breakfast, etc. Parking is free. Just near the sea and restaurant area. Supermarket that works everyday till 9 pm just 5 minutes from the apartment. We really enjoyed staying in this place 🤩 Just remember that it is on the seaside, near all the bars, etc, so there is music till late night, so if you go to sleep early, take earplugs (it really helps and windows are good, so you will be able to sleep).
