If you're considering Vodafone, you might be in for a treat! Many customers rave about their competitive pricing, especially for existing users. Their routers are noted to outperform those from competitors like TalkTalk, particularly in larger homes where WiFi coverage can be an issue. The beamforming technology enhances connectivity throughout your space. Customer service experiences at Vodafone seem to shine brightly as well.
Was only in store picking up an upgrade, but the staff member was a legend. Didn't catch his name though. Despite tech issues, he persisted and it worked in the end :) highly recommend

Went in to upgrade my phone and transfer my phone to my husband . Brilliant customer care by Louie and the manager who sorted out a very good deal for us and transferred all the data. This was not the stressful afternoon we thought it would be ! Highly recommend .

Vodafone is the best company in its field and I would like to thank the employee Trey for his good treatment and facilitating the service for me. I wish you success. 🤍

Too hot! What is wrong with Vodafone? Have heating on at 26⁰ and none of the staff can change it. Should be called the Long Wait, the systems and screens are awful , out of date, old slow technology, with the wait icon featuring heavily & 90% of the time you'll never get back... sort it out @Vodafone not a good look for a tech company. Oh and pay your taxes.

Sky Broadband is a fantastic choice for those looking to enhance their home connectivity and entertainment experience. During my recent visit, I was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service provided by Ash and Myles, who demonstrated remarkable professionalism and product knowledge while showcasing the iPhone 16 Pro Max. They patiently answered all my questions, making the entire process enjoyable. Additionally, when upgrading my Sky TV and Broadband package, I had a seamless interaction with Ryan from customer service in Brighton.
On 30/04/2025, we visited Sky UK to explore the iPhone 16 Pro Max and were genuinely impressed by the exceptional support provided by Ash and Myles. Both showcased excellent professionalism, deep product knowledge, and a welcoming attitude throughout our visit. They clearly explained the features of the new device, guided us through the available plans, and answered all our questions patiently and thoroughly. Their communication skills and expertise made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. We are expecting to receive the device today and are excited, thanks to the confidence and clarity Ash and Myles gave us. They are true assets to the Sky UK team. Highly recommended!

Myles has been amazing today helping me with everything I need it sorted. Definitely I am happy with his service and I will come back again. He has been trained by Julian and he also know what he is doing.. thank you so much

Today we spoke to Ashleigh at the Sky Shop in Churchill Square, Brighton. We were looking to open an account as a new user for broadband and even as a trainee, she couldn’t have been more polite and helpful. We were guided through the whole process and secured a better deal than we would have been able to get for ourselves online.

Cat was great! I spoke with Julian about a week or so ago and didn’t quite feel ready and he said to take my time and come back, I was worried that he wouldn’t get rewarded for all his hard work and he said not to worry, he has great colleagues and they will pick up and sure enough Cat carried on where he left off, very informative, very helpful and no pressure…. If they weren’t there as people to take to, I probably wouldn’t have signed up Let’s hope the TV and broadband is as good as the staff at Churchill square… thanks

I would like to thank Ryan for all his assistance in opening up our account with them. He was knowledgeable, efficient and has great interpersonal skills

Decided to upgrade my SKY TV and Broadband package and after much confusion managed to speak to Ryan a Customer Service Assistant in Brighton who fully explained all available options in easy to understand language. I now have a 55' SKY AIR TV and mega fast 5G Broadband. His customer service skills are excennt and he is a credit to SKY as a company and to their customers

If you're in Brighton and looking for reliable telecommunications services, the Virgin Media Store is a fantastic stop. This store offers a range of options including broadband internet, TV packages, telephone services, and smartphones. Customers often praise the helpfulness and politeness of the staff, making your visit pleasant even if you have to wait a bit for assistance. Many loyal patrons appreciate Virgin Mobile's strong signal coverage compared to other providers.
My mobile stopped working after returning from Ireland and having seen the shop reviews I didn't expect much help. But Ricky was helpful and friendly, he explained and sorted the problem, AND he installed my new 4G sim. I won't hesitate to return there if I have any further problems.
Ann F — Google review
Caution credit score! Shocking customer service - AVOID I cancelled my mobile contract and direct debit earlier this year. As usual I spoke to them on the phone and made my own notes as they are useless at making their own. Previously they had said I could pay any outstanding balance at time of cancellation, and when I called up they confirmed there was none. After this they claimed they sent a single email, which was never received, saying I had a bill to pay. No other comms or attempts to contact me were made, but I have suddenly found I have 4 black marks on my credit rating for an unpaid bill!! I have just been on the phone to their incompetent & rude staff for an hour in total. This bill was for the period after I had cancelled and am still no further in getting a satisfactory explanation for why it has been applied, and no further to getting the credit marks removed. I always pay bills on time and they have put me in a very awkward position which is inexcusable for a company of this size who claim to have good customer service. Having looked online for similar experiences it looks like there are lots of people experiencing the same problem, so you have been warned. It is worth you factoring in an extra month's payment to your overall costs, as they have got you over a barrel once signed up it appears. Virgin Mobile have sealed their fate from my point of view. Never again for me or my family & friends - all mobile providers are pretty useless but these guys I would recommend you avoid like the plague.
Paul S — Google review
I have had an abundance of issues with Virgin Media. When first setting up my account an engineer had to come 3 times to try and fix the connection speed for our broadband when we were supposedly paying for one of the best packages. Upon calling their call center I was put with one of the rudest people I have ever spoken to in customer service, I was hung up on 4 times and I will most definitely never be coming back to Virgin Media.
Suki — Google review
Virgin mobile are very good as a company. When ever I go in here they are always very helpful and polite. You may have to wait a bit for a member of staff to come over if they are busy or not. I think that sometimes they just don't know who as walked in the store! (Reason for 4 stars). I have been with Virgin mobile all my life and you always get a very good signal where ever you are. When other companies don't! Really pleased and would recommend going with them. :)
Christian B — Google review
1 star is actually a compliment to the service provided. A word of warning if you are going to attempt to contact Virgin Media's customer service helpline then set aside every evening for a fortnight as this is how long it took me to get my broadband correctly installed. The root of the problem lies with the offshore call centres, where the staff will advise you with complete and utter rubbish and in my case cancel your account for no apparent reason, causing hours and hours of painful phone calls being passed around from pillar to post including being hung-up on numerous times. If you want some advice be rude and request to be put through to a call centre based in the UK, where the staff are much more helpful and tell you the correct information or just don't bother using Virgin full stop!!!!
Barnaby M — Google review
This is ridiculous, I have had 10 months of hell so far. I ordered 12 month contract with 12 months discount through Uswitch. Instead I got put on an 18 months contract with 9 months discount. Guy on phone tries to tell me to sign the 18 month contract and send it back anyway?!. After 10 months numerous calls and numerous people telling me its fixed I'm now on a 12 month contract with 9 months discount (still not 12 month discount). (I also had to argue that my deal even existed even though it was still up on Uswitch at the time and I had the confirmation email.) Then they put the line rental up on my contracted line rental scheme. Then they start charging me full price which they then say is sorted with a credit on my account which works for the bill out of my bank account but is putting my virgin account in debt, which I fear is going to effect my credit rating. One guy told me I would get a call within 48 hours from the complaints department and over a week later I still haven't received it. He also offered repeatedly different discounts and taking it back. The supervisor(who I only got to after 20+mins of being put on hold and re-explaining the last 10 months to another clueless person even though I asked to get straight through after explaining the endless farce) today told me that there is no complaints department and all problems are resolved by the customer service team and if I have further issue to contact Ofcom by post. Every customer service person has been inept, clueless, and at times deceitful. I have been put on hold for more time than actually helped and every time they promise its fixed it's now just as broken in a new way. This has been 10 months of stress and wasting my time and phone minutes sitting on the line to people who don't know what they are doing and now I am left stressed and concerned that you are threatening my credit rating. 0/10 customer service. 0/10 trust. 0/10 confidence. 0/10 would recommend.
Matt C — Google review
Absolutely hated this place. Never have i been served by such a rude person until i walked in here. All i wanted to do was return my router and get a bill summary. Firstly i was never greeted at the door, despite there was only one other customer in store. I had to call three people to ask them for what i needed. At first i was told that a bill summary was not possible to be accessed from in store. And then another guy decided it was possible, but barely knew what he was doing when alot of details came up on the screen and he didnt know what they were. Also he kept telling me to sit down after i asked him what was on the screen, when he was telling me to get up to look at the screen in the first place. Staff are very poorly trained and have terrible attitude when dealing with customers.
Ikka S — Google review
hire virgin media on November 24. They gave me an appointment on December 13 and they did not install it for me. They told me that they would call me and they did not give me an appointment on December 28th (I do not know if I will have a jnetternet then) they answered me fatally the kid in glasses of the store. I had to call to have an appointment on the 28th because they were to return in the afternoon and they did not appear, they did not call either. they do not care for their clients. the worst that neither take care of their clients, nor put solutions. you still have the permanence and they do not give solutions or facilities to please their clients. They when I speak on call the yell at me😐 No contratéis esta compañía da muchos problemas y no ponen soluciones más de un mes para poder disfrutar de internet. Queste negozio fa schifo si puoi contratare Altra línea di internet farlo. Più di un mese per veré internet a casa

Lucky Beach Cafe is a popular casual eatery located on the seafront in Brighton. It offers outside seating and a brunch menu, making it an ideal spot for a relaxed dining experience. The cafe is known for its commitment to sustainability and serves up a selection of British fare, including some of the best fish and chips in town. With its chic 100-seater restaurant, Lucky Beach provides an intimate and laid-back atmosphere with stunning views.
Honestly, this might have been the best breakfast we’ve ever had—and we’ve eaten a lot of breakfasts. The atmosphere? Chef’s kiss. The service? Friendlier than your nan after two cups of tea. And where else can you start your day with crab and tacos? It’s like brunch took a tropical holiday and brought back souvenirs for your taste buds. 10/10, would crab again.
Charlotte M — Google review
We came as a big group and a lot of us had a really pleasant experience. The honey chicken burger was incredible and the fish and chips were as good. The drinks however came served with a bug in both. When we asked about one of the drinks the lady serving us said that it was a passion fruit seed. However I had a Pepsi max and had the same bug in my drink. I was shocked by the amount of chips in the hot chip bowl. For 4 pound you should be getting at least 1 serving of chips. I think I counted about 15 chips. I also asked if they had different sizing for the T-shirts and the girl serving us said I’m not sure but I’m sure we do.. I would have thought she would check at least. I don’t like complaining, but her costumer service really wasn’t great. However we did have great service from two of the other staff members. Overall I’m a bit disappointed because I’ve heard really good things.
Kelly K — Google review
Varied thoughts on this place. It is a great location on the beach in Brighton, somewhat understandably not cheap. Most of the food was well presented and good quality. The French toast was our least favourite- the ganache was split, the toast was burnt, and the toppings were frugal. The English breakfast was much better. The crab Benedict was not to my taste, but was well cooked and presented - I just didn’t think the flavours combined well. The Tea was served in great little metal pots (don’t burn yourself) which were generous and lovely. The service was excellent - quick and cheerful.

We had such a wonderful time here! The food was absolutely amazing – so fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully colourful. It really felt like a feast for both the eyes and the taste buds. A special mention to Ollie, who was so lovely and friendly, making the whole experience even better. The warm service paired with the stunning beachside views made this café a real gem. Can’t wait to come back – highly recommend!

I came here during pride and the staff were amazing. So sweet and caring, everybody were in such great spirits and really welcomed in everybody and made them feel taken care of. The food was fresh and wonderfully crafted. I had the lucky catch which was calamari with fish & chips as well as mushy peas with a spin. I had some of their handcrafted nonalcoholic drinks. The passion fruit spritz & the ginger one were great. The alcoholic drinks looked great but I had to work later so we kept it PG. I enjoyed everything 10/10. They’re right by the beach as well so there was beautiful scenery all around.
Alexi W — Google review
The staff were so lovely, and quick. We sat inside up the stairs to get away from the wind, but to still lookout over the beach, this was not an issue for our server who ran up and down with our drinks and food. The food 1000/10, me and my husband shared the ‘Lucky Catch’ which was large fish and calamari with chips, mushy peas and dips. It is not a sharing platter, but just enough for the two of us to have a nice sized lunch. The batter on the fish, calamari and the surprise bits of either butternut squash or sweet potato, was so crisp and delicious. The fries were lovely and salty and the mushy peas, soooo buttery!! This is a must go just for the peas!! Along with two ciders and a Pepsi max, I would say it is not a bad price.
Alyx W — Google review
The place was lovely, very quick services, seated and bought drinks super quick. The slushy cocktail was very tasty. We ordered the local fish and chips. And I'm having a hard time believing the fish as enough fish for one person. "Quality over quantity", the quality was tasty, but I wasn't convinced by the quantity. It was nice, but nothing to shout about, and definitely not at £18.40. sorry! I live in London, I'm used to prices. I'd like some fish with my fish and chips please. Lucky Beach did reply to pass feedback to the kitchen. I edited my review to add compliments to the service and I think the edit removed Lucky Beaches reply.
Sammy J — Google review
I love Lucky Beach. Thank you Lucy for serving great coffee and a lovely breakfast. I had the fresh crab benedict and parmesan hash browns. This place could be considered pricey, especially for a group, but it's a lovely treat and a really nice place to relax. It might be cloudy in Brighton this morning, but it's a sunny warm atmosphere at Lucky Beach.

Hixon Green is a trendy and comfortable spot located near the large Tesco and George Street in Hove. The venue boasts beautiful sofas, lovely armchairs, and spreads across two floors. It's known for its delectable cooked breakfasts, particularly their amazing sausages and delicious rival to French toast waffles called "freffles." The restaurant also offers event space with an amazing view of the street and enough room for nearly 40 people.

Really lovely Cafe and restaurant with big open windows for perfect people watching. There's a lounge area with a few armchairs that was good for letting the baby play. They have high chairs, baby changing and were very accommodating - including being very dog friendly.

We absolutely love this place! The food is always delicious, and the service is fantastic. Kelly goes above and beyond to make every customer happy — she’s a star. The only downside is the drinks selection — it’s a bit disappointing that they don’t serve fresh orange juice. For a lovely spot that’s perfect for Sunday brunch, you’d expect fresh juice rather than canned or bottled. Other than that, it’s a great place overall!

Literally hosted my Mums 70th birthday party at Hixon Green this evening and wanted to write a review the minute I left. I was honestly so overwhelmed by the incredible staff and service, the ability to go above and beyond to make sure all the stops were pulled off to make the day special. A huge shout out to Leigh for his support from start to finish! Could not have done it without you. If anyone is thinking of having a small celebration, baby shower or even an event launch - the upstairs hire is the perfect spot for it 🙌🏼❤️

We had extremely nice experience! Food was nice, drinks were good … on top of that we were sitting outside and weather was great, so my husband and 3 of our babies had a great time! We ordered 3 dishes between us and I was full, we are two fairly well build guys (both around 100kg) so we thought we might be hungry after just 1 dish each… nope we were wrong…. Food was delicious, presentation was great and our waiter was very helpful and friendly. He informed us about longer than usual wait (place was packed), sever drinks very fast and it was a pleasure to sit outside and enjoy sun! We found easily parking spot next to the venue. The only one thing I would recommend for owner is to make sure everyone firm staff know the menu and can describe what we can expect from products. I asked about coffee, what kind of coffee they have and what is the taste of it. They were not able to tell me in the bar. WE ARE RECOMMENDING THIS SPOT!!!

Lovely cafe with quite a varied but straightforward menu. Something for everyone. The service was a little slow getting drinks but once we'd asked they were quick to sort it. The tables outside are close together so it can feel a bit squished. We went on a Saturday morning and it was very busy. The food was lovely! Portions were generous and the quality was really good. The coffee was lovely. If you're a coffee snob, this would absolutely suit!

Visited for a coffee last year and had an amazing brew, revisiting Brighton with good friends and a serious coffee lover I thought I had knew the perfect place. We decided to stop for coffee and breakfast but sadly after a 15 minute wait the coffee finally arrived only just warm, breakfast then arrived another 15 minutes later and just as the coffee was the breakfast too had elements that were barely warm. There was seven of us and 4 of our party had breakfast with sausage, 3 out of the 4 of us left the sausage as it seemed to be not just on the cold side but also had the appearance that it hadn’t spent much time in the pan/oven. Could it just be a coincidence that the one of us that did eat the sausage ended up being violently sick that evening ? It’s not difficult to cook a sausage but as you can see from the photo the trading post do have some culinary learning to do.

The English breakfast was good. The croque monsieur was a little dry. The bread was thick and it needed a bit more bechamel and cheese. The coffee was good as was the service.

Excellent coffee, good brunch options - went for the hash, fresh and flavoursome. Latest menu attached from June 2025.

Nice place, order from the till and they're bringing the food, taste was OK, not very good but average, coffee was better though you can select from different roasts etc. Recommend

I spent 3 days in Brighton recently and ended up eating breakfast here every morning. The coffee was outstanding! The food was great too. Over 3 mornings I tried the vegan rarebit, the plant-based granola bowl and the plant-based full English (minus the falafels & houmous as I didn't fancy that for breakfast). I also got a sandwich to take away - Korean BBQ mushrooms on foccacia. Everything was freshly made, beautifully presented and absolutely delicious.

Overall good coffee, food and experience, but no WiFi is a shame as the building reduces data connectivity to rely on 4/5G only. It was a challenge to send this review or download the TP app and had to go and get a better connection.

Moksha Caffe is a unique and vibrant independent coffee shop located near St Peters Church in the North Laine area of Brighton. Since 2007, it has been a popular spot for families, offering a bright atmosphere and delicious dishes. The cafe's spacious interiors provide a relaxed setting for visitors of all ages. The menu focuses on serving excellent breakfast and brunch options, including fluffy American-style pancakes and a thoughtful kids menu.
Delicious spot for brunch, I had the Chorizo hash, my partner had the American fluffy pancakes. I thoroughly enjoyed my dish. Tasty, well presented, good portion size. Loved the chickpeas and onion running through the dish. I’m not a pancake lover but we’re told they were ok. Service was friendly, we ordered 2 dirty chai’s also delicious. They make their own hot sauce and you definitely should order a sparkling lemonade. Would I go again? I would! You should☺️

Was seated very quickly and the staff was really friendly and helpful. I got a delicious vegan fried tofu burger that came with chips with the skin on. The burger was great, soft and nice vegan bun. The chips were alright, not my favourite in cut or flavour but decent.

Absolutely blown away! Last minute find as we randomly travelled to Brighton for the day with no plan! My favourite cafe was already closed by the time we decided to eat. So I hit Google and Moksha popped up! The menu was very inclusive of my group so we drove straight there! Absolutely beautiful, the food is spot on! Served hot, baked and cooked to perfect! The plant based options were delicious very very delicious! The flavours, mouth water, my meat eating friends absolutely devoured my plant based options aaannnnnddd the banana bread! Wow! Oh yeah and the hash browns! Love love love! This is a new Brighton! Lastly take a read of their story online it made the whole experience even more impressive x

First time trying Moksha after hearing only good things!! We were seated promptly by a friendly staff member, and we didn’t have to wait long to order. The menu here is extensive, and the Autumn specials sounded absolutely incredible - I chose the Eggs Benedict and a coconut matcha flat white, while my husband ordered Huevos Rancheros and a fresh carrot and turmeric juice. The matcha was really good - very flavoursome and excellently frothed coconut milk! The brunch itself left a little to be desired though - the amount of Hollandaise sauce was pretty stingy for a dish which prides itself on it, and the sauce itself lacked that delicious tangy richness that pairs so well with eggs and bacon. I added some of Moksha’s own hot sauce to make up for the flavour and lack of sauce - this was really tasty. The muffins seemed homemade and were absolutely delicious, but were slightly undercooked and doughy in the centre which was a shame. I couldn’t fault the eggs or bacon, both were cooked to perfection. On the flipside, my husband’s Huevos Rancheros was a complete success - the portion was so large he struggled to finish it and the flavours were spectacular, from the smoky chorizo to the crispy tortilla and mountain of fresh guacamole. He said it’s the best brunch he’s had in his life, so I think this was the better item to order!! The atmosphere is buzzy and welcoming, and the service is quick and friendly. I would happily return to Moksha to try a different brunch item or a burger (these looked unreal!) 😇✨

Lovely place! The black pudding and hash browns literally had me drooling over my boyfriends food- they were delicious and so was my egg’s royale. Highly recommend the big breakfast!

I have been to Moksha so many times that I've lost count. I've just continued to fail to leave a review, which I think it's important to do for small businesses - I got round to it eventually! The food is always consistent, fresh, hot and of course - extremely yummy. They have a very good variety of options on the menu too. Moksha is always very busy if you go on peak days and times (the weekend), you can guarantee you'll need to wait in a queue before getting seated. However, I've found that I'm never waiting more than 15 minutes for a table of 2-4. I would definitely recommend Moksha for a fresh, hot and tasty meal!

Great funky restaurant. Really enjoyed their Half Breakfast (served all day). As well as the freshly juiced apple juice. Staff were cheerful and helpful, and prices are reasonable. Sorry already started to eat before I took a picture :)

Moksha has become our go-to breakfast place every time we visit Brighton from London – and this visit marked our fourth over the past few years. What keeps drawing us back is the consistent standard of both the food and the service, which is no small feat. On this occasion, I had the Eggs Benedict, which were absolutely delicious. My partner ordered the Huevos Benedictos – a creative and flavourful twist on the classic. Moksha clearly takes pride in using high-quality ingredients; even the muffins used in their Benedict dishes are unique and far superior to the usual fare – we’ve never come across anything quite like them elsewhere. A particularly nice touch was the sprinkle of healthy seeds over the Benedict – an unexpected detail that worked beautifully. The bacon was perfectly balanced too – not overly salty, which is ideal for anyone mindful of their sodium intake. The atmosphere is warm and relaxed, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming, which really adds to the experience. Moksha continues to be a standout breakfast spot in Brighton, and we recommend it wholeheartedly.

Popped in for breakfast while in Brighton and it was such a great find. The croissants are huge—really generous portions. I had the ham and cheese croissant with an oat cappuccino, and both were delicious. Lovely spot for a relaxed morning bite

First saw this place on Instagram and really wanted the opportunity to try it. A few months after following them, I find myself in Brighton and happened to come across it, while walking past. I hadn’t originally planned to pop in but I remembered their Instagram and promptly entered the cafe. I was not disappointed! My slice of blackout cake was some of the nicest chocolate cake I’ve ever had! My hot chocolate was lovely too. Both tasted gorgeous and not sickly sweet either. They were just right! Not only was my cake amazing, but so was the service. The staff were ever so friendly and polite, which made me, as a visitor who doesn’t like to annoy locals, feel very warmly welcomed. It was the perfect way to start what turned out to be a truly wonderful day. Thank you so much! I’ll be coming back, when I’m next in town.

I’ve wanted to come here for so long, I’ve heard such amazing things and now I can see why. Genuinely one of the best brunches, if not the best, I’ve had in Brighton! The cafe itself is really lovely, nice atmosphere and a lovely spot by Queen’s Park. The service is friendly and personable. The food is outstanding. I had the avocado smash and my friend had the seasonal eggs. Incredible, full of flavour and different to any other offerings elsewhere. I can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu!

Place so good & cosy we visited each morning of our trip to Brighton! ;) Located next to Queen’s Park, it’s the perfect spot for a coffee break. The food was delicious as well. We were able to try a different dish each day and nothing disappointed. Everything tasted fresh and like it was made with love and care. It was the perfect start to our day. I would love to come back when I visit again. Small tip: if you want to come during the weekend I would recommend booking a table on their site (very easy to do).

This was our favorite brunch spot in Brighton and the best brunch we’ve had in the UK!! Unfortunately it was our last day in town so we didn’t have time to come back again, but definitely would have. The pancakes were melt in you mouth perfect and the jam was so good we tried asking if they sold it by the jar. Pistachio latte was great. The star of the show was the eggs on toast, which we definitely recommend!

Delicious food, tasty coffee, excellent service! Upstairs is nice and bright, seats out the front are lovely on warm days, downstairs seating area is a bit lacklustre. Remember to make a reservation for brunch as this sport is busy and popular 🙂 Highly recommend the chorizo hash! Yum! 😋

Had my first visit to Starfish & Coffee recently and couldn’t wait to come back. The Avocado Smash is the best variation/spin on avo toast I have EVER had, the avocado is packed onto the sourdough, really generous portions. My happy place in Brighton! I come here all the time. The pancakes are heaven, the coffee is perfect, and the staff are the sweetest. Cozy vibes, dog-friendly, and always worth the wait! 💕
Charlotte W — Google review
This place is a must visit for a spectacular vegan breakfast or brunch and it’s dog friendly! The pesto “This Isn’t” chicken bagel is just perfection, it is one of my favourite things on the menu. Drinks are well made, I loved the vegan hot chocolate with cream (please add vegan marshmallows to the menu!) The vegan pancakes are hefty and great value for money, you get 3 super thick American style pancakes with a ton of toppings, I went for strawberry and chocolate, would highly recommend! I also tried the vegan New Yorker sandwich but didn’t enjoy this as much, the pastrami to sauerkraut ratio was off. Too much of the sauerkraut made it taste very vinegary, and you couldn’t taste the pastrami at all. It was basically a sauerkraut sandwich - please increase the pastrami! Also they were short staffed and could see some customers leaving / getting angry, perhaps let customers know the wait times before taking orders to prevent this from happening?

Love this place, super cozy lovely atmosphere. Almost gives the vibes of being in a coffee shop game! My partner got the All American Dream and said it was 10/10, I got the lox bagel which was delicious too!

We came here hoping for a nice pancake brunch, but unfortunately the experience was disappointing. The pancakes were decent, but definitely not worth the 45-minute wait. The staff were rude and unwelcoming, with no apology or explanation for the delay. To make things worse, the outdoor chairs were rusty, and when I politely asked for a regular chair, the response was dismissive and unpleasant. Overall, not a place I’d return to.

Black Mocha is a warm and cozy stop located in the North Laine area of Brighton. The coffee shop offers vegan-friendly food and drinks, including raw vegan cakes and snacks. The food and hot drinks were incredible. Alas the toasties were sold out (we wanted to try them) but the full breakfast was incredible! And the hot chocolate with the works was amazing, as was the caramel latte. Quite expensive but worth it! I’m a massive fan of this place, especially on a Tuesday where you can grab brunch and a drink for a tenner - not too shabby! The food here is what really caught my attention, an interesting and diverse menu that has some unique touches and twists away from the overdone avo and egg style brunch. Mine was so tasty and really vibrant and fresh. The drinks are equally as unique, with homemade pumpkin spiced syrup, a chilli hot chocolate which was delicious, and a tasty iced matcha. I worked pretty much all day, and felt well looked after, comfortable and cosy the whole time. The staff are very nice, the prices aren’t extortionate and the place has a relaxed and chill vibe. Maybe a little cramped downstairs, but bright and open upstairs. Fab stuff - see you soon!

A unique place with a great food and drink menu and a lovely vibe! I only stopped in for a quick bite to eat for breakfast, and I had a blast. I had the healthy brunch bowl, where everything was well cooked and seasoned, and as a non-vegan, still thoroughly enjoyed it and wouldn’t have said anything was missing. The chunky avocado was a great touch too, way better than the mushy stuff. To drink I had the health elixir - or in normal terms, a honey, lemon, tumeric and ginger tea. Fresh and vibrant, it was perfectly sweet and spicy, and very delicious indeed. The vibes in the place are spot on, being friendly and welcoming like the staff, and the decor is just fabulous with all the random vintage bits and bobs around the place. They offer cakes too, but it’s the large food selection, creative and tasty, and extensive drinks options, especially teas, which makes this place stand out!

We came here on our last day at Brighton it was the perfect breakfast before the long travel home. The decorations are all very unique and they have different things up for sale around the cafe. I'm a vegetarian with lactose intolerance ordered the health bowl which I loved. All my family meals looked lovely. The only thing I would say is the green juice was not what I had expected but still tested nice.

Love the atmosphere here, the staff are very inviting and polite. The decoration is unique and interesting and the layout is simple but intuitive. Having ordered the Russian caravan black tea I was slightly disappointed by the lack of flavour produced by the leaves, they seemed as if perhaps past their best which is unfortunate given the price. I have heard however that the food is brilliant and the coffee is very nice too, definitely worth a visit and a lovely local café

Lovely coffee shop in the heart of Brighton. The coffee was delicious so was the banana walnut bread. The staff was friendly. The little table by the window on the sun made my experience even better.

Another banging cafe in Brighton, with some of the best coffee beans if you are on the hunt. Speciality coffee made well, but the flavour and complexity of the coffee itself makes this place a gem. The vibes are always good, especially when the sun is out and people are fighting over a seat on the little benches out front - they are perfect for soaking in the sun and the huddle and bustle of Brighton on the weekend. Seating inside is a little more rustic, opting for a more mis-matched vintage style. It’s comfy and cosy, great for chilling. (Heads up, not really a cafe to work in though, there’s no wifi) The selection of cakes and bakes is not what Bond Street focuses on, but the addition of bite sized cakes to pair with the coffee is fab. Nothing stand out, but the perfect little sweet treat to complement a great cup of coffee. Try dunking! All in all, Bond Street has some of the best coffee in Brighton. Whether they make the best cup is down to preference I guess, but the beans - fab.

I couldn't see at first which cake smell so divine 😍 drinking Brazilian roast coffee I spot customers next to our table eating beautiful CINNAMON BUN 😋😍 I knew then that was the smell which welcome us and I need to try it. Freshly baked with vegan cream on the side still warm. What else do you need to start your day with cup of coffee to complete all that experience. For sure one of the places to try when you travel to BRIGHTON. I'm sure we will visit you again no doubt🥰🥰🥰🥰

Cracking speciality coffee spot. Coffee-wise they do aeropress, batch filter, and v60, as well as all the milky espresso favourites. Delicious vegan sausage rolls and plenty of vegan and/or GF cake options. Their banana bread is great and packed with walnuts. And their retail is also very welcomed, with everything from your daily necessities such as v69/aeropress filters, to kettles, books, brewers and of course specialty beans. The service was great and the atmosphere was perfect.

This coffee shop is fantastic!!! It’s located in the laines in Brighton. The style of coffee is really appealing to sit with friends with a good amount of space or if you wanted to read a book and relax on your own also. I was extremely impressed with the level of service and detail in which the staff are interested in what you’re doing in the day, really chatty and friendly towards you! The coffee was also really smooth and rich, you can also request syrup and they actually add it on the side instead of throwing in the coffee for you! Great selection/choice of food and drinks! Overall the whole experience was great, or work in central London and it’s reminds me of those cool coffee shops there, but this one is even better! 10/10 for me.

Came here just at opening time for coffee and a vegan toastie. Both decent, served with a smile and reasonable value. The place is very left field and 'nuts' but in a great way, quirky is an under statement! Liked it though music way too loud for me for the morning. Quirky looking coffee house. Loads of different coffee beans for the conisure. The house blend is fine. Chilled atmosphere. Places where you can and can't use wi-fi. All on one floor, so access for wheelchairs is ok. There is an outside eating area in the front. Food looks good, tastes better. At least vegetarian but much is vegan. Looks homemade. Prices are less than certain well known brands of coffee places. The place has the feel of an old fashioned pub. The staff are really good. Chatty, generally nice to chat with. I have been 2 times... Didn't have any limes for our g&t's... so the (I think) owner/manager, went out and got some. Don't know if it was Happy Hour, but 2 large g&t's for £12 was impressively cheap. Busy for the time of day without feeling crowded. Will return for more than a quick drink.

The Longhouse Cafe has taken the place of the beloved Nordic Coffee Collective, quickly becoming a favorite spot in Brighton. This dog-friendly cafe is embraced by locals and offers a community-focused space with an abundance of plants. The menu is entirely plant-powered and presented with great care, offering satisfying vegan brunch options. The cafe also serves as a platform for local artisans, selling artisan ceramics alongside their delicious offerings.
Went in for a tasty vegan brunch on a Friday. The staff was lovely and the vibe was welcoming and laid back. The full breakfast scrambled tofu and garlic mushrooms were great. And the smokey beans on toast were hearty and delicious. Finally - the mango turmeric smoothie was excellent - definitely recommend. Well worth a visit!

My friend and I got the tomato and pesto on sourdough and avocado on gluten free toast respectively and they were both really on point and delicious! The kombucha tasted really natural and gut friendly too! So impressed! Staff were really friendly and lovely too. Definitely hope to be back :)
Amanda L — Google review
Delicious food and friendly staff. I had a pot of tea, and my only suggestion would be please serve the milk in something with a lip or spout so it's easier to pour. Other than that, absolutely fantastic! I had the scrambled tofu, and portion sizes were big.
Angela D — Google review
Update: Oat milk Latè £2.90 (2nd highest price in Brighton) small cup with no handle, saucer or spoon, so when I asked for brown sugar I have to use the tiny spoon in the jar and place it on the lid or table making a mess, if there was a saucer with it's own spoon it would be ok, so it was a bit hot to hold from the edges so consider frail people with disabilities. The coffee was very nice. Vegan Breakfast was very good apart from the tasteless tomatoes I didn't eat. Pricing was a tad unclear and a bit misleading (not staffs fault im sure) it was £7.90 but looking at the board it looks like £7.0 as they don't put the 0 after the 9 and the 9 was right next to a line on the board £7.9 when £7.90p makes it clear, nice staff, great cheff, Tofu never tasted so good, Mushrooms, Avocado with seeds n spices was nice, sour dough was a bit tough to cut but was a nice change.

We had the vegan breakfast: amazing food. Agree the scrambled tofu is just fantastic. Lots on the plate and tasted as good as it looked. Best vegan meal we had during our last stay in Brighton. Love this place :-)

Infinity Foods is a popular supermarket located in the North Laine area of Brighton. It's an organic and ethically led establishment that offers a wide variety of vegetarian and vegan produce, along with an artisan bakery. The store is known for its bustling atmosphere, especially on Saturdays, as it attracts a diverse crowd seeking chia seeds, fermented drinks, cruelty-free beauty products, and top-notch organic sourdough.
The busy beating heart of Brighton. Bringing health and life to all that surrounds it. A gorgeous selection of real, proper brands and real, proper food. Lovely staff. And they have my favourite coffee and the best kombucha!!!
Joseph D — Google review
Disgustingly expensive. £3.50 for half a dozen eggs when the same product from the same farm costs £2.50 elsewhere. £5.50 for a kilo of courgettes. Genuinely staggering and insulting that somewhere that claims to be ethical would exploit people's guilt and good nature. If you're a posh toff then I'm sure you'll love it. You're not helping the planet if the only people who can afford to shop here are the most polluting class. Horrendous. Edit: You've completely ignored the part where the same eggs from the SAME FARM are 30% cheaper elsewhere. A dozen free range organic eggs from Sainsbury's are £4.50. Your eggs are almost twice as expensive, so spare me the platitudes. If fair prices are at the heart of what you do, then stop price gouging. It would be better for the planet for you to not stock courgettes at all. Charging a ludicrous amount for vegetables doesn't erase their carbon footprint. I also note that non-organic courgettes were on sale for significantly cheaper. Presumably you are exploiting those that grew them? Nothing in the shop is good value for money. The only people who can afford to shop here are the wealthy, who pollute more than anyone by orders of magnitude. You say you'd "hate" for people to feel excluded from eating ethically, but all of your prices do exactly that. Eating ethically shouldn't have to be a matter of class but you are reinforcing that. No mind though, so long as you get to be in a co-op and feel good about yourselves. What a joke. Thankfully, there are ethical outlets in Brighton that don't engage in price-gouging. You're right in that there's a better way to shop, it's elsewhere. I will not be coming back to have a "chat" with you seeing as your response to me is filled with boring platitudes and outright lies.
Maud — Google review
This place is an institution of the North Laine and there’s a reason it’s stood the test of time. Great produce, lots and lots of vegan and gluten free products, and you can always get a tasty treat from the bakery.

Amazing store for people like organic food, Vegan and Keto. My favourite selection is chocolate, bars and snacks. All products and packages are very good quality and organic.

Amazing shop , I was blown away by such a huge selection. I bought some of the raw seaweed tapende as a treat which I'm going to try with home made bread for the new moon. . I thought the croissants were a bit expensive at £3.80 each although it was delicious staff were super busy but helpful and friendly.

The Heart of Brighton. Came here when it first opened (1971). Fantastic shop full of organic local natural goodness. Vegan & Vegetarian. Fresh fruit and veg. Wonderful bakery, and much much more. Over 60's get a 10% discount on food. Easy access. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly.
Roland R — Google review
A local friend recommended this shop and I was so happy she did! I was amazed to see vegan flapjacks, cakes and brownies in the bakery section as well as vegan pizzas. I went in mainly to see the organic, natural and chemical free products, there was such an extensive range to browse, I could’ve stayed in there for hours. I left with 3x homemade coconut soaps, colloidal silver, anti bacterial spray, 3x small bottles of hand soap, mosquito spray, a flapjack, a brownie and a raspberry and almond bun. All for exactly £44.44! I will definitely be returning to this shop and I’d recommend it to everyone.

One of the best shops I have been in for gluten free foods, I would definitely recommend the gluten free and vegan bakery shelves, with freshly baked goods. I bought two of the rice and tapioca loaves and will be back for more imminently. Thank you InfinityFoods for supplying such a vast array of gluten free options.

Nestled along St Georges Road, Ground Kemptown has made a delightful transition to a new location that exudes warmth and coziness, making it an inviting spot for coffee lovers. Since its move in 2020, this charming café has become a favorite among locals and visitors alike. Sourcing their exceptional coffee from Pharmacie Roasters in nearby Lewes, Ground Kemptown also offers delectable gluten-free options alongside its rich brews.
Fabulous cafe with lovely friendly staff. Good selection of sandwiches and locally baked cakes. Coffee is excellent-prepared by well trained people who obviously take pride in their skills. A tiny space but one which is a delight to visit due to the way it is managed!

I was served by a lovely young lady this morning - it was just 5 minute interaction but it really made my day. Also the drink selection (matcha in particular) is great as well as food selection. I have loved coming here ever since I moved to Brighton.

We are visitors to Brighton (hospital)and saw the reviews online for this lovely little coffee house. Delicious coffee, delicious sausage roll, my wife said the tea and cinnamon bun were ever so tasty. We were served by a lovely young lady who had a smile when talking and serving. Our little dog sat in the window and watched the world go by. Highly recommend this coffee shop.
Colin S — Google review
Avoid the gluten free friand. Rubbery, weirdly solid, lacking in flavour, and £3. Coffee at 33 in Trafalgar St. does a whole slice of lemon polenta cake for £3.50. The texture of which delights. The espresso was just about ok. Slight metallic taint.

We love Ground, it's our favourite local coffee shop! The new location is great and the fact that they now do brunch is brilliant, we tried it for the first time today and the ultimate bacon butty is possibly the best bacon butty I've ever had. Coffee from Pharmacie Coffee Roasters is delicious and well prepared, and the staff here are always friendly. There aren't many places you can get coffee and brunch for £10. Just a lovely atmosphere, nice music and chilled vibes, a great coffee shop.

Really delicious pain au raisin made with butter. Their GF bakes were also great with their well brewed cup of joe. Highly recommend when in the area!

Came to the shop in George street on 17/05 looking to buy a new IPhone and anxious as it’s not my department ! MASUM was the first to assist me and explain in clear and simple terms the technical differences etc… and offering a good contract as a loyal customer . He was patient, helpful and professional . When I returned to pick up the phone I was helped by GARY the shop manager who was so so patient and took time to help with the new phone . He spent time , stayed longer than he should have been and deserved a medal !! This shop led by a motivating , energetic and understanding manager is an asset to Vodafone ! Swapped out a normal SIM for an E-SIM with Vodafone, it says on the website pop into any Vodafone store if you have any problems. Just done that today and possibly the worse customer service ever. The shop assistant couldn't be any less interested, whatever he was doing on his personal phone was more interesting. He grabbed the phone and a few seconds later tossed it back to me and said 'you have too many SIMS'... couldn't even be bothered to look up from his own phone. If this is an accredited Vodafone store then I'm shocked. No help, wasted journey.... avoid this store at all costs would be my advice.

Brighton Fibre is a standout choice for those seeking high-speed, reliable broadband connections. Ideal for busy households with multiple devices, their fibre optic service ensures seamless connectivity. Customers rave about the exceptional customer support and unique approach to business that sets them apart from larger providers like Virgin or Sky. From prompt responses to installation queries to quick repairs, Brighton Fibre excels in communication and efficiency. Users have shared experiences of hassle-free service changes and speedy installations, highlighting the friendly and knowledgeable staff who go above and beyond.
Brighton Fibre were brilliant from start to finish. Communication was easy and queries responded to promptly. Will did a great job with installation, friendly and knowledgable. A small blowout on exterior wall was repaired within a few days, couldn’t believe it. Highly recommend. Broadband speed is super fast, smooth transfer from rip off Virgin. Thanks guys and gals! So nice to support local.Highly recommend.
Harriet S — Google review
In the ten years I have lived near the station in Brighton, the broadband has only ever been available via a BT line, maxing out at 40Mbps. I read with interest about new local company Brighton Fibre and registered my details on their website. I expected to hear nothing as with all the other Alt net providers "coming soon to your area". After a few months I had an email advising they can potentially service my property. After a few emails to understand the requirements, the installation was swiftly arranged, and the guys that visited were friendly, polite and helpful. When a slight issue was discovered an additional member of the team was called to assist and arrived quickly and all was sorted. The installation was neat and well done, the fibre cable is so small it is virtually invisible. Since installation a month ago it has worked perfectly, not one drop and speed has remained consistently 150Mbps download and upload speed and a ping of just 8ms. I have every confidence if I do ever have an issue then I can contact them easily and it will be resolved just as easily as my initial experience. Its refreshing to deal with such a small friendly local team who reply personally by email and if you live in the Brighton area then 100% give them a go.
Peter P — Google review
If you're lucky enough to have Brighton Fibre in your street I cannot recommend them more highly. Great value broadband, reliable connectivity and truly amazing customer support. The way they do business is different and it really shows. So, I asked for advice about fixings on my wall where I need dampwork done. Their response (immediate) was to send someone to discuss with me and the builder doing the work on the day he starts. Imagine that from Virgin or Sky!! By getting rid of the hideous Virgin monster, I'm saving £100 per month and getting this level of service!
Bobly P — Google review
Wow!! Such good service, I'm really surprised just how good they are. They are just in a different league of customer service to other companies. I asked to change from their £45pm option to the £25pm one and they just did it, within about an hour. No fuss, no pressure, no charge, just said yes and did it! I'd give more than 5 stars if I could.

I’ve been with BrightonFibre for just over a year and a half now and it’s been great. Set up was easy and on the one occasion where the internet was slow/ intermittent they responded and fixed it remotely within less 20 minutes of my email even though my email was at 7.30am!
