Such an amazing vintage store. Every time I go in I see something new and it’s so interesting even if you don’t end up buying anything. Nice selection of so many vintage items you didn’t even know you needed — clothes, cute trinkets, cameras, records, silverware etc. Definitely give it a visit if you’re in the area!!

A great place to wander around whilst in Brighton. From Thunderbird toys to old cameras it has them all. Easily found down the Lanes just a few minutes from the station. Remember to take a look at the clothing upstairs. Lots of unusual pieces up there. I have managed to get clothing for Goodwood Revival up there. Well worth a visit.

I’m convinced most of these reviews are from tourists, hence why they’re so high. This place is great for a good rummage for 40 minutes or so, but the employees and rude and condescending if you don’t fit their ideals. My partner is from the states, he can get nervous in social situations, so when he was so blatantly disrespected by the cashier I knew I had to come on here and say something. The tone that was used and the glares he got were awful, all because he had to put a PIN code in a second time.

It felt like paradise, could have shopped in there forever!! I bought a little rabbit ornament here which I love. So many hidden gems in this place!! Also the only photo I took was of the OFAH sign, so cool!!

A lovely shop but miserable rude staff. Only one person at the counter with a big queue so I didn’t want to interrupt, waited and asked for a key, older man huffed and scolded me saying I didn’t have to queue for a key. ‘For future reference’ apparently. As if I would want to return after being talked to like a child. Can understand that it’s busy and you’re fed up, but doesn’t mean you have to be so painstakingly unpleasant to someone wanting to support small businesses. It’s free to be kind.

If there is one store you have to check out in Brighton it is Snoopers Paradise. We walked in thinking let’s take a look at what they have and ended up spending aver an hour there and we still didn’t see all they have to offer. Great friendly team who really help out and spend time with you even though the store is always busy. So so so much to choose from. Products from toys, cloths, antiques, jewellery, painting to almost anything you an imagine from all corners of the globe. Snoopers Paradise is something that I've been looking for my whole life. Since a kid, I've always been snooping around in everything, drawers, charity shops, reduced isles, car boot sales, flea markets- and this place had it all! Boxes of old photos that use to belong to people, hug bags of vintage hats, and accessories. Old school Cameras, Guitars, Furniture, clothes clothes clothes'! Trinkets, just so much! It's so much fun to look through and I hope to come back again! I'd recommend it to anybody who loves to snoop. I ended up buying the cutest blue beret to match my outfit- even the tiles in the bathroom were the cutest vintage style.

Very nice and bright spacious many top brands stores under one roof as well as food court with various varieties of food. They managed it very well. I would really like to mention the toilets very clean. Perfect location very next to Brighton beach and 5min walk from train station.

Churchill Square is one of the largest and most popular retail destinations in Brighton and across the Sussex coast. The mall is spacious and packed with a wide variety of shops – from fashion and beauty to tech and home goods. It’s definitely a go-to spot for a proper retail therapy session. There’s a solid mix of big-name department stores and smaller retailers, plus a food court on the top floor with a good selection of places to eat. The toilets are located on the first floor, and lifts are available, making it accessible for all. It’s usually very busy on weekends, so if you prefer quieter shopping, weekdays might be better. Parking is available, which is convenient, though navigating the centre can be a bit tricky at times – the directory signage could definitely be improved, and I can see why some visitors get frustrated. A recent highlight is the opening of an IKEA shop – a great addition that gives you even more variety under one roof.

Great ambience and place to shop for new clothing and food - particularly interested in the Italian food at the top floor 😀 Justpark is close to the area for parking and cost £5.50 for up to 2 hours. It's a lovely place to visit.

Very rude interaction with the ginger security guard! I never really make reviews, but after having normally very lovely and helpful interactions with other security guards over the years in the shopping centre I was shocked to have such rude service from this one man! He shouldn’t be in a customer service role if he can’t produce one ounce of customer service! Was rather short with me when asking for directions and huffed as if he was too good to help me out! Not very good customer service at all!

Left the ikea store (also the new owners of Churchill sq) having paid £5.50 for parking (free at Southampton and Croydon stores), went through the barrier and ended up with 3 screws in my tyre. Had to have a new one fitted by a mobile fitter at the cost of £120. Ikea seem to take no responsibility to keep the Churchill so car park clean and free of such debris. They are also unwilling despite admitting the debris was there (or rather have ignored subsequent emails) to pay for the damage to my vehicle. If things change then I will alter this review.

I’m becoming far less impressed with shopping centres these days with a multitude of stores selling very bland fashion. No stylish clothes this year at all. Not sure where there’s big outlets get their design ideas from. It seems they all go to the same school of thought. Drab baggy fabric stitched together which hangs off the shoulder as an after thought to skin! Come on you big outlets let’s see some design for goodness sake!!! The only outlet worth visiting was Flannels. Having said that there were a good range of stores in this building. The place was clean and tidy and the loos clean too but not a place I would be a frequent visitor to unless the stores started to actually design clothes we all want to wear on a night out.

What a lovely local bookshop. I feel lucky to live so close to such an inviting and well-stocked shop. If you are passing it can be easy to miss, but once inside there is some for everyone. The staff are always very friendly and helpful and the card selection is particularly excellent, offering reasonably priced local artists' designs for many different occasions. If you are in need of some reading materials please consider supporting such a wonderful shop instead of a chain!

The best book store in Brighton, especially if you want a signed copy!

A treasure trove of a bookshop that I cannot recommend highly enough. Not only do they have a fantastic range of books in store (make sure you go downstairs as well because there are even more treats) but they are simply marvellous at tracking down books for you - if the small publishing house is on their system, generally they can get the book. It is not only a business but a community resource that encourages you to do that most fantastic of things - read a book to fire the imagination. Support your local bookshop, especially ones as wonderful as this because they are to be cherished

One day this might be the last indie book shop in the U.K. A superb store that, like the Tardis, seems so much bigger on the inside. Staff are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I often struggle to buy books for my daughter (high reading age, but young) and their suggestions have always delighted. The store is well laid out, with new books on your left as you enter. They frequently stock signed editions. The variety of stock is staggering, especially downstairs in the kids / huge non fiction area. City Books also hosts author events. Local Legend.

Visited the shop last weekend. Could have spent hours in there! Ended up buying online, and have not been disappointed, the items arrived in a couple of days and I’m delighted, especially with the blue moleskin jacket which is stunning. Great shop, fantastic range of quality high end items. Brilliant.

You'd be pretty gutted to spend your hard earned cash on something you thought was quirky, original and good quality only to find it is available on Temu for 90 percent less, wouldn't you? So I'm glad that before making a purchase, I spotted a pair of socks that I was wearing at the time, priced £11, that I'd ordered on Temu for £1.14. Not just lookalike - the exact same socks.

After quite a few years of doing mail-order, to NYC, I finally made it to the shop. To see the clothing, in person, is just next level. It was definitely hard not to fill up an entire suitcase! Absolutely the best. Great team that works there and so incredibly helpful. Will definitely be back next trip to Brighton!

This time I used the online store , After my order went through I received a call from a very friendly and helpful chap at JTG who discussed all the sizes etc. Shirt arrived next day. This is a great shop selling quality clothes. You don’t have to be a Mod - just have good taste and an aversion to big shop brand names. The sound track in the place is cracking as well. Expect to dress while listening to soul, jazz and other proper vibes.

Not even worth 1 star! DO NOT BUY HERE! Bought a pair of earrings online and what I received didn't look at all like the photo online. Very bad cheap quality for the price I paid. I wrote them and they said it was exactly the same as the one on the photo. Don't buy jewelry here, because you will receive something that doesn't look like the photo at all and afterwards you can't return it. They are a complete fraud or they don't even know themselves what they are selling. Very disappointed in their customer service.

I like that little shop ,have bought a few vintage clothes from them already. You can't go wrong with them ,they last. As you'd expect from all the new stuff they stock especially as they aren't cheep... I bought a duvet coat made by OneYearCollective last winter for £340 thinking it will see me through a few winters. I wore it for about 2 months at the end of last winter and about a month into this one and the polyester filling has shifted so much already from the neck area that there's nothing left apart from the thin fabric. Also I noticed it gathering up in places creating lumps as there's not much sticking between 'cavities' to hold the filler in place. I expect the more I'll wear it the more it will all shift down. Not what you expect for that price. As its a mustard colour it could do with a dry clean but I haven't got much hope that it would survive one. So no, don't fall for the lovely looking design.

the place itself is very out of the way and looks quite small from the outside, but when you go in it's like the tardis! very cool and unique shop, filled with true vintage clothes and some other quirky items. The clothes themselves are quite expensive, so be prepared to pay more than you usually would for these types of items. would highly recommend :)

One of the best vintage shops in town. Lovely staff, great selection of clothes. Doesn’t have the “copy and paste bulk-bought pallets imported from the US” feel that a lot of vintage shops have these days. The clothes and shoes seem to be more curated.

This was not a good experience. I did place an order for walking boots but not received them. On Saturday, while I was out, DPD messaged to say they would deliver later in the day & that a signature wasn't needed. DPD claim to have attempted delivery later in the day, didn't try the neighbours as they usually do or leave a card to rearrange delivery. Within minutes my parcel arrives at a parcel shop 2 miles away with no option to rearrange delivery & vegetarian shoes won't respond to emails. Yesterday I spoke to our local DPD driver who has no knowledge of my parcel or an attempted delivery on Saturday.

Finally visited the shop in person, and they had a great end of year sale going on! High quality, long lasting and stylish shoes and boots... I love the airseal shoes and boots particularly. The material breathes and wears just like leather, but nothing died to make them! I've tried other brands, but these are a million times better and can be re-soled (if they ever wear out). Would love to see some airseal stack soles shoes.

I bought a pair of work boots from here over 3 years ago. I've worn them most days since and they've been through the ringer. Still in fantastic condition. Simply cannot fault them. I recently bought a more fashionable pair which I needed quickly. I called the store up and they sorted me out. Very happy with the product and the service.

Edit: The reseller has agreed to exchange the boots for me. I am happy with this solution but I still cannot recommend the Approach Mid from my experience. Original post: I bought the Approach Mid from a reseller in November. I have worn them 10 times. The last 2 times, my feet become completely soaked under light rain conditions. I understand the difference between waterproof and water resistant but both the reseller and veg. shoes keep insisting they are only water resistant. These boots are NOT water resistant, or the pair I have is faulty. Furthermore, these 2 incidents of water have caused significant wear to the material and bleeding of the color. This is terrible quality for 180€.

It was refreshing to be able to walk into a shop and know that all the shoes were ethical, I didn’t need to read the labels! There was a decent amount of choice. Staff were on hand to answer questions and help out. I opted for some boots on the ‘broken biscuits’ rack. They were £75 reduced from £84.95.

Such a cute coffee shop in this beautiful cacti shop, offering a range of coffees, teas, soft drinks and snacks. I had a special fermented tumeric and fruit tea which was amazing! The owner Sabina is so sweet, what a lovely environment.

It’s not a very big market but if you want to support local and small businesses, this is the place to come! It’s very lively during Christmastime and you can find a range of items from crafts to sauces to cheese to books. There are many fantastic stalls and on the top floor there’s some specialised shops as well. If you’re passing by, it’s definitely worth a short visit. You can also keep up with them on their social media to see which days there’s going to be Makers’ Markets (my personal favourite)

Came by late on a Monday around 5 pm, and unfortunately, most shops and stalls were closed. It seems like the market winds down early in the week. It might be a better idea to visit on busier days if you're looking for more options!

It's great that you can support the locals there! You can buy fresh fruit, vegetables, eggs, there is also a bakery and many other things such as sewing materials or antique furniture. I was surprised at how delicious the Samosa was at the little kiosk on the left. The best i had in my life, seriously. The whole place is not as big as I thought, but worth visiting when you are in this area.

Quite interesting. Not very big, but I think it's worth a short visit. You can find interesting handicrafts and all kinds of more or less valuable antiques. Small shops of local producers. I drank a very good craft beer here. I don't think you need more than 40 minutes for a visit.

I love the open market and despise it in equal amounts. A form of gentrification with out the benefits of investment is semi present, loaves of bread available if you re mortgage your home. Fruit and veg over priced. The bacon and cheese guy is cool, as is the egg man, and the Japanese/Vietnamese place. Wish it had somewhat of a traditional market and a bit less shonky craft stalls. If it opened on Sundays with all traders and shut a couple of days midweek, it would benefit shoppers and traders. Otherwise it feels too much like a lifestyle choice for rich kids.

Lively place with good produce, excellent vibe and a variety of food options. Great place for meat, veggie lovers alike with ample options for vegan diet as well! The place is more compact than some of the markets in London, understandably so. But the quality of food etc is good!

We passed by the open market on a Sunday noon and some of the shops were closed, but we liked the authentic feeling of it. There were a few local sellers offering freshly baked bread, colourful clothing and knits, books, and candlesThere are a few coffee shops offering coffee and food.

Cabinet 5 definitely has the wow factor with some amazing items available. Reasonably priced and well worth taking a look in. Plus the entire shop is like a treasure hunting experience. Love this flea market.

I have been to Brighton numerous times, but it was my first visit to this hidden gem in Kemptown. It is an Aladdin’s cave full of bric-à-brac, vintage books, prints, vinyls, clothing and furniture etc. Though it is not huge, you can spend a lot of time rummaging through the place. It is definitely worth visiting if you like vintage markets.

Absolutely great place to go. The amount of Pokemon items are incredible. Definitely worth a look if you are into it. Plenty of cards, plushies and other items at a very fair price.

This flea market is special. It really feels like home. So much to choose from. Antiques, retro and new is the perfect combination. I like the new Pokémon cabinet that's been recently added really brings out the new era culture and always I love the retro toys and upstairs vintage clothing. This flea market is one to check out if your visiting Brighton or a local resident.

The Aladdin’s Cave of all Aladdin’s Caves. Remarkable place with lots of interesting things to buy. Totally unique and a great place to visit. Managed to snag a mint copy of Chris Rea’s Road to Hell album on vinyl for a decent price. Can’t wait to go back.

Super cute! It's similar to Snooper's Paradise but slightly smaller. I really loved all the items in there, some cute art and cool clothes too! It's got two floors so lots to explore. If you love Snooper's Paradise you should definitely visit this little gem!

Best place in Brighton for proper bargains and finds. Snoopers in the lanes is all about the tourists this is more geared to the locals. Don't miss the second floor which I think some people are not aware of particularly if you are looking for vintage label clothes....really good sportswear. Highly recommended.

This is a treasure trove of super elegant and stylish mens clothes. Everything about this shop is STYLISH. The clothes are special with fine detailing! I bought the linen shirt. The quality is excellent and the colours of the shirts are so unusual. I bought it for one of the celebrities I style so you will see it on yours screens very soon!!

A very successful visit to Gresham and Blake to buy a suit for my daughters wedding. Lots of choice and range of prices with some very funky linings. Anthony was able to give all the advice we needed in a very supportive and encouraging way. I ended up with just the right suit for me, all alterations measured up, and also managed to buy a great shirt with tie to match. I would highly recommend Gresham and Blake to others. They took all the stress out of buying a suit, and now I'm really looking forward to wearing it on the big day!

George and Anthony did a wonderful job of creating two beautiful suits in powder blue and navy for my best man and I for my wedding. Not only do they look fantastic on their own but they compliment each other perfectly and worked really well with the wedding party. We both really enjoyed the experience of choosing the materials for our suits and then the tailoring that followed. A special thank you to George. An old sports injury I had to my shoulder initially proved troublesome for getting the jacket to sit correctly. I felt very reassured by George that he'd keep working on it until it was just right and that's exactly what he did. As soon as it tried on the jacket I knew it was the most comfortable fitting jacket that I have ever worn. Flattering to the point of witchcraft, I am immensely happy with my purchase. The service was superb at every stage. I am not the sort who regularly buys suits, but Anthony made me feel at ease and well cared for from the moment I approached the counter.

Went to She Said for the first time after years of not wearing bras due to uncomfortable pinching and being told the wrong size by bra fitters. I was blown away by the service I received here from Sylvester. Despite running the entire shop alone on a saturday due to staff sickness they delivered an amazing service, helping me find the perfect sizing, knowing the stock supremely well, and delivering ideal customer service. 5 stars for sylvester, and beautiful comfy underwear.

Popped in to She Said just for a cheeky look and ended up having THE BEST time. Plum and Vester made me and my friend feel so welcomed and helped us out with so many options. I could have stayed all day laughing with them. Literally made our day such a good memory. Also - can't wait for the Brighton Kink Market :)

Finally l made it to this shop today! I wasn’t disappointed. Vanessa is super lovely and not pushy (and speaks good Italian :)). We had a good old chat and her clothes are simply gorgeous. Great quality at honest prices. Got me a wonderful Meadows dress which I’ll cherish for a long time. This is what shopping should be, affordable and sustainable. I definitely recommend!

I'm always delighted to visit Vanessa's shop. She's friendly and knows her stuff and takes time to know her customers too. I'm never disappointed, as she knows what suits me. Bargains and beauty galore.

I made a rating previously that was so wrong, I appear to have pressed "Post" before checking, please ignore and the true rating could be nothing other than a 5 star, Vanessa is fantastic, and the stock is so well selected, and draws you back year after year.

I contacted them to inquire if they accept goods from Next that has been worn once on the WhatsApp number they issued out. Nobody had the courtesy to reply meanwhile all the messages were blue ticked. A simple yes or no could have been perfect.

Finally made it back here for the first time since the pandemic. It’s a treasure trove! Really enjoy looking through the rails. Parking out front or on the adjacent roads. Worth a visit if you’re in the locality.

It was raining but people still turned up and trade looked steady though not abundant. We broused all the stalls as there was no wind so it was quite pleasant. I bought a few little things I really like. A glass vase, a book, a jumper, a big towel, Nice place to go for a wander. No entrance fee. Lots of coffee bars and options for lunch and a beer. We went to the Mariners. Lovely pub. A very pleasant Sunday morning. Thanks.

A fantastic Sunday morning outing more akin to a French brocante than a boot fair with a mix of car booters, vintage traders and antique dealers selling all kinds of quirky items. There's also a popular coffee van and a mix of specialised food stalls such as cheese, olives and the regular French bakery stall. Colourful and fun!

Last weeks adventure we found Brighton marina giant boot fair . Free parking which in Brighton is a bonus . Plenty of amazing random things for all . And loving thee atmosphere and eccentric people looking for goodies it was a feast for the eyes .

Went in winter so there was not as much on sale as you'd expect but glad to find it was happening in spite of the cold. From the oldest house hold stuff to furniture and clothes to home made goods, also quite a bit of new DIY/gardening tools, gloves etc. If you're looking for newish goods it's not the place for you

This was my first time having a massage, Christina made me feel at ease and was very professional. The actual massage was amazing! I left the Treatment Rooms feeling so relaxed. I will definitely be booking another treatment soon.

Wonderfully relaxing experience. My therapist had a lovely manner, knew her stuff, and had a very healing touch. I can't believe a facial can relax your whole body so much! Oh yes, and my skin tone has improved for sure, you could instantly see the pigmentation from pregnancy and the sun had evened out and my skin looked much brighter and glowing! Was a lovely gift from my family...if only I could have them every month...week!

Great place! We had tickets to come here to see Craig David. It was so good! The lady who works there, was not only a friendly person but she was so helpful and kind to those who were unable to get tickets. It was hot inside but we had a fantastic experience.

This shop is in a good location and has a very good selection. My only gripe is that they have the empty covers on display! I do understand as it would deter shop lifting, but as a collector of vinyl, a sealed copy is of more value!

Wonderful shop. Packed full of amazing reissues. Reissues and new vinyl isn’t usually my jam but this shop delivers. The electronic music section was insanely good along with the rock section. No listening station as it’s a new vinyl spot.

I'm a local that's frequented and loved this store for a while, but the Nick Cave & TBS ticket experience was a bitter disappointment, and I'm going to take a break from Resident. I love that you have the clout to offer something as unique as this, but you made the hype and frankly couldn't follow through on it. I got the tickets (or did I? I have a receipt to collect *something* at a later date), and queued for hours only to have folks rock up and join the queue with no issue as I was in the second phase in the store. I waited as long as I did on RSD, which was a much more complex ordering prospect - I genuinely don't know why it took so long to sell several hundred people some tickets; lots of chatting going on at the till that was unfair for the folks still waiting. You could have been taking orders from the queue to streamline the collection, but then I guess you would have missed the odd record sale. Really amateur stuff, and I'm not going to queue for anything here again.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the entire team at this store. Earlier in July, I visited Brighton for a two-day work-related staff event. During my stay, I purchased a limited-edition vinyl record by The Fugees. Unfortunately, upon returning home two days later, I discovered that the album was missing one of the two vinyls, despite being sealed in its original packaging. I immediately reached out to the customer service team, and Phoebe was incredibly helpful and responsive. She arranged for a brand-new replacement vinyl to be sent out and also ensured that my return postage costs were fully refunded. As a retail manager myself, I was extremely impressed by the professionalism and efficiency with which the issue was handled. The level of customer service provided was truly exceptional. I look forward to returning to Brighton next year and making more vinyl purchases from the store. It’s a pleasure to support a business that prioritises excellent service and customer satisfaction

Disgustingly expensive. £3.50 for half a dozen eggs when the same product from the same farm costs £2.50 elsewhere. £5.50 for a kilo of courgettes. Genuinely staggering and insulting that somewhere that claims to be ethical would exploit people's guilt and good nature. If you're a posh toff then I'm sure you'll love it. You're not helping the planet if the only people who can afford to shop here are the most polluting class. Horrendous. Edit: You've completely ignored the part where the same eggs from the SAME FARM are 30% cheaper elsewhere. A dozen free range organic eggs from Sainsbury's are £4.50. Your eggs are almost twice as expensive, so spare me the platitudes. If fair prices are at the heart of what you do, then stop price gouging. It would be better for the planet for you to not stock courgettes at all. Charging a ludicrous amount for vegetables doesn't erase their carbon footprint. I also note that non-organic courgettes were on sale for significantly cheaper. Presumably you are exploiting those that grew them? Nothing in the shop is good value for money. The only people who can afford to shop here are the wealthy, who pollute more than anyone by orders of magnitude. You say you'd "hate" for people to feel excluded from eating ethically, but all of your prices do exactly that. Eating ethically shouldn't have to be a matter of class but you are reinforcing that. No mind though, so long as you get to be in a co-op and feel good about yourselves. What a joke. Thankfully, there are ethical outlets in Brighton that don't engage in price-gouging. You're right in that there's a better way to shop, it's elsewhere. I will not be coming back to have a "chat" with you seeing as your response to me is filled with boring platitudes and outright lies.

This place is an institution of the North Laine and there’s a reason it’s stood the test of time. Great produce, lots and lots of vegan and gluten free products, and you can always get a tasty treat from the bakery.

Amazing store for people like organic food, Vegan and Keto. My favourite selection is chocolate, bars and snacks. All products and packages are very good quality and organic.

Amazing shop , I was blown away by such a huge selection. I bought some of the raw seaweed tapende as a treat which I'm going to try with home made bread for the new moon. . I thought the croissants were a bit expensive at £3.80 each although it was delicious staff were super busy but helpful and friendly.

The Heart of Brighton. Came here when it first opened (1971). Fantastic shop full of organic local natural goodness. Vegan & Vegetarian. Fresh fruit and veg. Wonderful bakery, and much much more. Over 60's get a 10% discount on food. Easy access. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly.

A local friend recommended this shop and I was so happy she did! I was amazed to see vegan flapjacks, cakes and brownies in the bakery section as well as vegan pizzas. I went in mainly to see the organic, natural and chemical free products, there was such an extensive range to browse, I could’ve stayed in there for hours. I left with 3x homemade coconut soaps, colloidal silver, anti bacterial spray, 3x small bottles of hand soap, mosquito spray, a flapjack, a brownie and a raspberry and almond bun. All for exactly £44.44! I will definitely be returning to this shop and I’d recommend it to everyone.

One of the best shops I have been in for gluten free foods, I would definitely recommend the gluten free and vegan bakery shelves, with freshly baked goods. I bought two of the rice and tapioca loaves and will be back for more imminently. Thank you InfinityFoods for supplying such a vast array of gluten free options.

I really like this place a lot. I go here for specific things. They have excellent chocolate and inexpensive nutritional yeast, so I stock up with both. It's great that you can weigh out as much as you like of lots of staple items. Brown bags and no waste at excellent prices. Recommended.

Good shop but the manager was not paying the farmers and staff. I hope someone takes over it as it was a good shop with a good layout and some helpful staff. But I can understand why some were unhappy if they were not getting paid. Shame I didn’t go often because I lived in Hove. I hope someone else will take it over. All the fresh vegetables and fruits were organic or pesticides free and from local farmers. So I hope someone will take it on.

This store really works hard to be sustainable. The amount of bulk foods and products is impressive. By being able to shop like this, we have reduced our home waste stream dramatically. You can get everything you need here (produce to coffee/paper products). And they allow dogs which makes my life much easier. The staff patiently teaches customers how to use the scales and bulk systems. It’s just a great place.

I love Hisbe! The choice of refill produce is great, good availability and the prices for refill don’t seem to have gone up for years. ditch the plastic and come here - they’ve also got the most generous loyalty scheme around and you get stamps every time you bring your own refill jars. Fantastic shop that we depend on.

Really wonderful shop. Nice staff and atmosphere. Really good range of refillable cereals, seeds, grains, cleaning products, etc - you can bring your own container or use a free paper bag. Very good if you want to reduce your plastic use and buy sustainable products. A good range of products for different budgets too. Plus it's an independent Brighton business!

I just called this company as I couldn't get in to a front door I urgently needed access to. The very kind lady said she'd contact someone working locally who would likely be able to visit, but before doing that she talked me through how best to attack it myself and it worked! They weren't after anything in return and didn't push another service I didn't need. Very honest and helpful! We'll being coming back for all locksmith needs going forward!

This is the very historical and traditional tools shop that you can find in Brighton. You can find very useful hand tools, accessories, paints..... and everything there. Sometimes you may find the vintage spare parts in their small corner. The staffs there are very experience and helpful. If you need to buy some tools in a convenient location, then you should visit this shop.

Dockerills is an amazing independent hardware store in Brighton. I have used them for years and have always been impressed with the quality of their products and the level of service they provide. The sign department is particularly helpful and Ryan and his team have created some amazing signs for my business, Mooch. The staff are always friendly and knowledgeable, and they are happy to help with any questions or requests. Garry in the locksmith part of the business has been invaluable to me on several occasions with fast key cutting service and major help with securing my business premises. 🙏🏻 Nev on the shop floor knows every item in the whole store and always has amazing advice and knowledge on the products. As a local business we are always popping in. Not often you find a place that will even sell you just one washer or screw. All the staff are amazing and always make you feel so welcome. I feel super lucky to have such amazing hardware store in Brighton, and I would highly recommend them to anyone. Please support local businesses and keep these amazing places around. A truly excellent shop. Well stocked with friendly, knowledgeable staff. The business has been in the same family since it was founded, and is now in the fifth generation. I bought my very first tools there 51 years ago, and it is just as good as it always was. In fact, I have just bought some more tools there (I still have some of the originals).

We ventured in here today, as we're getting married in two weeks, and my fiancé wanted to find a unique/bespoke perfume for our day. We stood, testing samples for over 10 minutes, initially with no one else in the store, then more came in, then left - with us still remaining. Not that I should have to justify our own capabilities, but we were both dressed nicely and tried to be friendly and make eye contact with the lady behind the counter when we arrived. We were promptly ignored for the entire rest of the time. Not a hello, anything I can do? Or a goodbye or thank you. She sat on the computer, determined to ignore us, and despite finding a fragrance my partner liked, we both decided that the frosty atmosphere we were given made us not want to purchase from here. Shame as it was one of the reasons we came across to Brighton today! Very, very poor.

I use the mail order system. I am very pleased with all aspects. My order is taken professionally, i normally receive the package the next day, it is beautifully wrapped. I am a fan... Such a wonderful idea, I love that you could go in and get vegan, reduced price versions of your favourite perfume. It's a good price, friendly service but unfortunately the overwhelming, conflicting scents as I walked in was too much and almost instantly gave me a headache. Love love love the idea, just please open a window or something

Gorgeous store with authentic Brightonian products. We have had their diffusers many times, suitable for small spaces and entrance ways. The giant linen sprays are also so affordable and keep sheets and linens scented for ages!

I recently went for a Pecksniff's 40 minute back, neck and shoulder massage in Brighton Jury's Inn Waterfront Hotel. I was briefly asked if I had any concerns before the massage and I mentioned that I had large tension knots in my back. I had said this before when getting a massage elsewhere however this masseuse was so tentative to my comments that she completely tailored the massage to make sure my knots were removed by the end of the massage. Days later I feel no knots and feel so much better, with no pain or tension, it has made the world of difference and I would love to have another massage like that again! Could not recommend enough!

Fantastic quality shower gels, handwashes and body/hand lotions really handy sizes or great value large sizes especially bath/ shower gels. I've been buying Pecksniff hand cream, body scrub, hand wash, perfume and many other products for about 3 years now. The amazing natural aromas are so fresh and last all day. The amount of people who have stopped and asked me what perfume I use, and I proudly say Pecksniff but sadly no one so far has heard of it. I would thoroughly recommend there products, I haven't had a bad one yet!

Amazing place, some nice bottles of bourbon in stock and a good variety of everything. Definitely worth a stop if you want something special! The lady behind the counter was also great and definitely knew her stuff.

Seven Cellars is hands down one of the best wine shops I have ever visited. The moment you step in, you're greeted by staff who are incredibly friendly, approachable, and truly knowledgeable, they make exploring new wines feel exciting, not intimidating. Their stock is genuinely fantastic, specializing in unique and interesting wines and beers you simply won't find in larger stores. The staff are happy to spend time guiding you to choose something new and delicious. On one of my recent visits, I was absolutely thrilled to randomly spot a bottle of Orion by Sean Thackrey, a testament to the depth and quality of their selection! Beyond the fantastic array of bottles, a special mention must go to the olives they stock; seriously, they are the greatest olives I have ever had. I've used Seven Cellars at Seven Dials a number of times recently - it's a great local go-to and the staff have always been really helpful. I've picked up a number of bottles in-store as gifts for friends and for work. I've also had wine delivered to a contact as a 'thank you' and the service was excellent, with the items being delivered so quickly and for a reasonable price. House a wide selection of Lamy and Kaweco pens and beautiful wrapping paper in the back. The lady at the till wrapped my paper purchase very well so I could carry it safely with me for the rest of the day. Highly recommend Pen to Paper for any stationery lovers.

I'm from Greece, but when I visited Brighton a couple years ago I just loved this store. The things are beautiful :) I bought some postcards with cat/dog paintings (they were so pretty I framed them) and a very beautiful notebook. If you see someone with a suitcase in the shop this December, it will probably be me.

I walked into this shop after going out alone in Brighton for the first time. I am not from Brighton and found it daunting that I had no clue where I was going anyway. The staff in this shop are nasty. One woman in particular after holding a garment I wanted to buy and heading up to the female section for a further look, she didn't even wait till I was on the third step up before slagging me off to other colleagues, merely asking her with a smile of it was okay to go and look upstairs. I won't come back and I certainly won't tell any friends too, disgusted! I went to another shop who told me the young workers there are always rude to customers.

I was shopping for boots and was so glad I went into this shop. One of the guys working there said it's mainly American military surplus-- but the prices are super great, better than surplus stores in the US. I walked out with a replacement pair of American combat boots, no fuss, small shop. Good experience. Will come back!

I am writing this review straight away - I had 2 beautiful hand made floor cushions delivered today. I paid a little extra to have them filled with the recommended filling. I bought them for my husband who is Iranian and wanted the cushions for his living area. He is (and I am as well) absolutely delighted. They are beautiful and being hand made makes them even more special and precious to us. I have bought 2 beautiful deep red Afghan rugs for my hall from this company some years back I am still in love with them - they are so, so beautiful. I am also very happy with the communication and customer service from 'Kim'. I am so impressed with the fact that I ordered these items a couple of days ago (I had the same experience when I had bought the hall rugs), and they were prepared and and posted yesterday and I received them today by 1pm!! Before this I had received emails confirming my orders and when the floor cushions were dispatched. That has to be an amazing service by any standards, The items were well wrapped and securely delivered by a polite, competent delivery service - amazing! I would recommend this carpet company every time with confidence. I wish them well in their business.

Great little shop with lots of choice. Much better quality than anywhere else I found locally as well. My son wanted an East Asian or Arabic style rug for his digs as a Christmas present and the staff spent a great deal of time explaining the manufacturing methods and style differences as well as going through a massive stack of rugs one at a time before we made our final choice. Very helpful and a good price too, for something that will last years.

We met Kim and Yashar, and you could not get a more friendly and helpful couple. The attention to detail and generous assistance with our Kilim selection made our purchase a true shopping experience we will never forget; they went above and beyond, which is rare today but very sincerely appreciated.

I bought a Turkish rug just after Christmas. The lady and gentleman were extremely helpful showing me a number of styles of rugs, very patient with me making my choice, went through what was available online to get an idea of what i was looking for and were able to pinpoint exactly where that rug was. Excellent service, very friendly and lovely to see the passion for the product they sell. I'd thoroughly recommend them.

I bought an Afghan rug from Yashar Bish earlier this year. As I was very impressed by the quality of the rug and the service, I recently purchased another Afghan rug, this time a rather elegant Vegetable Dyed Kilim. The rug arrived at my house in Japan earlier this week and although it was posted by my family beforehand, it was securely wrapped up by Yashar Bish ‘ready to go’ Now it brightens up the tatami-matted living room. Dukes Lane offers a huge variety of retail opportunities including a cafe, clothing stores and independent art galleries. Dukes Lane is a pleasant place to be and enter a world of your own. It feels entirely separate from the hustle and bustle of Brighton whilst offering exactly what Brighton is in one place. The Brighton Box, opposite Farah, was an incredible experience. From the stunning window display to the customer service provided within from the staff.

A vibrant lane full of Independent clothing boutiques, gallery and places to eat. Nicely kept and a great location.

Oh my god! I could spend a full afternoon in Makarkey. Best card shop in Brighton. Truly original and hilarious cards for literally every occasion, best choice around. Friendly staff were very helpful. Bloke behind the counter has great legs too!!!!

We have visited this small but very well stocked card shop on every visit to Brighton in the last 10 to 15 years and never come away without buying cards for our quirkier friends birthdays, etc! They have a very wide selection and the staff are always very helpful so I have no qualms about recommending this little gem!

Lovely shop and range of cards however customer service failed it. Left my drink on the counter by mistake and instead of being told about it the lady let me leave store and screamed profanities at me outside of the shop. This is not the way to speak to a customer even if you are annoyed at them, completely unprofessional, embarrassing and ruined my experience with the shop. Don’t like writing reviews like this however felt it was necessary after the way I was humiliated by a member of staff outside of the shop.

The cards are super cute and the customer service was fantastic! Andy did his absolute best to help find a solution when there was a shipping mishap, and he was very kind about it! The cards are great quality!

I recommend this shop eventhough I didn't purchase anything there was so many items if I had a unlimited budget I would have bought haha.

Clothes are great and pretty affordable, but the staff are crazy unfriendly. Classic Brighton second hand store hipster thing where they role their eyes when you try to be polite or ignore you if you say thank you. I get it, you work in a cool clothing shop in a hip part of town, but would it kill you to just be a little bit nice to the people spending money in your store?

Not as eclectic a mix as they used to have. Beyond Retro, nearby, has more funky and diverse clothes but this place is around half the price so need to go to both on a visit to Brighton. They have another store in Worthing that has monthly kilo sales.

Great vintage shop with a large selection of clothing. Prices are, on the whole, not terrible. This isn't charity shopping so you won't really be snagging too many bargains, but there are some hidden treasures every so often.

I live 350 miles away but always make a point of visiting this store when in Brighton, always so friendly and great collection of clothing. Recently ordered online and unfortunately the item wasn't right for me, again the customer service was great when I returned it, great communication and very quick to refund. A great little store selling a carefully selected range of mens and womens clothing. I live miles away but always make a point of visiting when in Brighton and 9/10 leave with something. Always helpful and friendly too. Look forward to visiting again.

PLEASE BEWARE . This business does not allow refund on items purchased with tags and an original receipt from 7 days!!. Bought a hat last week in a rush, but once home decided to return it to the store. As it was not worn I did not foresee any issues asking to return it for a refund. To my shock I was greeted with a small playing card size sign on the counter with no option of a refund. Please be aware of The Daily Edit’s position on customer care before making that purchase. If I had known this I would not have stepped foot in this store!!

Wow! It's like walking back in time. There was so much of everything, I honestly didn't know what to look at first. It's cross between a charity shop and a museum!! Every weird and wonderful thing you can ever imagine!! I will definitely be returning and telling people about this shop. I didn't actually buy anything but I did spend a good hour in there. Allow yourself time to go through things because there definitely is many treasures to find!! I really enjoyed myself and was pleasantly surprised.

Beautiful curated store of handmade and vintage clothing, jewellery, festival wear, cushions, lampshades, mens vintage mod era, and dreamy 70s bohemian ladies clothing. There's a nice variety of styles as it's collectively run by lots of independent sellers. It's upstairs inside snoopers paradise in the north laine. It's like the best fashion museum you can visit.. except you can buy the things you like !!

such a pretty and *aesthetic* looking place (definitely Instagram worthy). although i didn't end up buying anything from here, it is still very much worth a look around! there are so many quirky vintage items, from paintings to headwear to comics (in snooper's paradise below). if you're in snooper's paradise below the attic, then look out for the photobooth!

I really love Snoopers Paradise, If you collect vintage pieces it is the best place to go in Brighton, also upstairs there’s the Snoopers Attic, and It’s full of nice clothes. I’ve been 2 days ago in the Attic and there were 2 very nice ladies that helped me out with a lovely dress and the boots. The staff were very friendly and they took a few pictures for me in the dress, I always have the best time in Snoopers Paradise! I really recommend to go !!!! :)

This place is a glorious feast of vintage delights. So many nooks and crannies and endless things to browse - glasswear, record players, typewriters, old taxidermy, anything you could imagine!

Always love a vintage emporium. Was very similar to most you would find. Did feel a little hectic, I appreciate emporiums are all about looking through carefully to find some treasures however this one was so jammed packed it was overwhelming and just felt messy!

The layout of the shop is quite good, neat and tidy inside the shop. You can find a lot of the interesting products in it and the condition of the products is excellent. You can definitely find something you like there.

Bought a set of dining chairs after the last lockdown as a treat to myself and I couldn’t be happier. It was great that they had a little history behind them too, which is always a bonus at dinner time. Delivery was smooth as well, mainly because I live on the first floor and a lot of couriers only deliver to the front door.

Bought a mid century "Howard Miller" coffee table, exactly as described in listing. 1st class service, great communication. Delivered when said, and thanks to Raymond for 1st class delivery. Would definitely recommend. "One very happy customer" !

Era is a real step back in time - all the great items on sale mean you can deck your place out in true classic kitsch style. It's like a museum where all the cool stuff's there for you to take home! Very friendly owners and staff too. Well worth a visit if you're in the area. I'll be popping back in next time I'm in Brighton, that's for sure.

Really great guys, knowledgeable about the furniture that they sell and a different experience to the nearby flea markets. I have carried out a couple of re-upholstery jobs for them, they have been a pleasure to deal with. Every time I pop in I see something I want to buy!

The food was INCREDIBLE. I don’t think I’ve eaten that well in a restaurant in years. The restaurant was nicely decorated with a nice ambiance. The servers were really kind, they did forget to send in our order, but when it did came it was well worth the wait and they gave us the entrees for free. All in all, it’s a spectacular restaurant, and I’m debating spending my vacations in Brighton only to go eat there :)

Chose to celebrate our anniversary here as my partner is vegetarian, and as a meat eater cannot recommend this place enough. We opted for the sharing tapas, with a couple of extra starters, amd all were delicious. Service was also top notch and we will definitely be eating here again. Highly recommended.

Superb food throughout and lovely service. We had the tapas. As omnivores we couldn’t believe just how tasty every course was. Y wife in particular wasn’t sure they’d be able to accommodate her dairy and gluten intolerances but it was clear they had no problem at all. Indeed, her slightly adjusted menu may have been even better (delicious sesame crisp). Great wine selection too!

This restaurant is a family favourite of ours. The staff are really friendly and make you feel so welcome. I am GF and there were loads of options for me too which is rare with vegetarian food. I was the only vegetarian out of 8 of us yet everyone commented on how tasty and different the menus is compared to other vegetarian food, so much variety. I recommend a visit.

Went for Octoberbest, blown away by the food and the service! Great with gluten free options and the food was some of the most exciting I’ve ever had - really punchy fish and chip flavours, lush aubergine and very impressive tofu

Went for a meal with a group of 7 friends. Had the set tapas menu and it was absolutely delicious! Perfect amount and selection - favourites were the harissa and hummus and the smoked tofu. Service was great too. Very friendly waiting staff, attentive and efficient. Would definitely recommend!

We had a large group with several dietary requirements, and everyone was catered to perfectly - the team really seems to care about the diners' experience. Great food too!!

The restaurant was packed but still managed to find a table for the 6 of us. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We all had fish and chips (£14.50) fish tasted nice, but portion sizes weren’t the same for everyone. Comes with chips only; mushy peas are an extra £1.95. Oysters were excellent and worth trying. Overall, a bit overpriced for me.

The Regency is famed for its range of sea food dishes so alongside the fish and chips, we also had the garlic butter scallops. The fish and chips were fried to perfection, crispy fish and fluffy chips, the curry sauce had a nice spicy, sweetness to it. The Garlic Butter Scallops were very fresh, good portion and tasted delicious. My only criticism is that the portion sizes are quite small for the price, would appreciate a bigger fish and more chips for the price paid. That being said, Regency is very busy and it seems to be the place to go in Brighton for tourists, locals and celebrities. Take a look at the customers and you will see a range of nations enjoying their food, mixed in with the locals. Also take a walk to The Regency’s downstairs bathroom and you can see their wall of fame littered with famous faces from around the world, they really have had everybody pass through their doors, one patron that caught my eye was Hideo Kojima, yes, THAT Hideo Kojima, well, if it’s good enough for Kojima, it’s gets my vote.

Was recommended by locals for their fish and chips - and they do not disappoint! Flakey fresh cod, chunky chips and fresh garden peas. We also ordered their seafood pasta which was packed with flavour. Grilled prawns and scallops were fresh and portions were humongous (were asians so they are huge to us) Had their draft ales and were very quenching indeed. Had a wonderful meal and their staffs were ever attentive and always checked on us throughout dinner. Perfect start for dinner when visiting brighton.

Really good fish. Haddock was flaky and the batter was crisps. The chips were fine but possibly slightly overcooked. We were sat outside so had the view of the sea. Decently priced, and great service too.

In Brighton for a week with my students I chose this restaurant for the last evening meal. I booked a table for two by a window. As soon as you enter this place you are pleasantly overwhelmed by the smell of fish based dishes. I had a starter, a delicious fish soup and a main course that I shared with my colleague - The Mediterranean with hake, mussels, clams, scallops and King prawns. The staff is welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend this place in Brighton if you look for something different from fish and chips.

Had our celebration dinner after completing the London to Brighton ride 2025. The staff were wonderful and kindly let us lock our bikes within sight, right between the outdoor tables and the restaurant window. It was the perfect spot to enjoy a heartwarming, delicious meal while the rain came down outside—just what we needed before heading home

This place is a reach treat! I came in around 5 o clock and was seated immediately. I order the Brighton G&T as well as the extravaganza seafood platter. Everything was tasty, fresh and cooked really well. A little pricey but given the area, most things were pricey especially seafood of this kind of quality. Service was amazing, I was checked on frequently and received my food within 10 minutes of being seated. Seating is a little tight so when it got busy, everyone was a little closer on each other than I’d like. However, a great time was had. Outside seating is also available but if you come on a day when the weather isn’t favorable you might prefer a table inside. If you’re in Brighton you should definitely make this place one of your stops.

I recently attended a crystal show at Brighton Racecourse, and it was fantastic! The venue was perfect, with an amazing variety of crystals—from raw stones to polished pieces and stunning jewelry. What made it truly special was that I could bring my black Labrador, Shadow, and he stole the show! Several people said meeting him made their day, and the friendly, welcoming atmosphere extended to him, too. The exhibitors were incredibly knowledgeable and happy to share their passion, making the whole experience both fun and educational. As a first-timer, I didn’t know what to expect, but I left with beautiful finds, wonderful memories of Shadow making friends, and a new love for crystals. Highly recommend visiting—it's an unforgettable experience!

Nice location overlooking the sea, staff are friendly and helpful, plenty of parking. The track is short but interesting with a downhill section, followed by quite a tight bend and then uphill to the finishing line - it's steeper than it looks. Shame the owners and trainers bar doesn't have a view of the track, but food is good, and not too far to walk to the padfock and then to the grandstand.

Easy access, adequate parking for a midweek event, great viewing, expensive drinks at the bar, really slow service for hot drinks and limited food outlets.

We were a group of 5 people. We booked the silks restaurant. The food was fantastic, probably one of the best racecourse meals I've had. I've eaten at at least20 racecourses. It's a great track for viewing. I highly recommend.

Did the 3day festival and had a lovely time. Luckily the weather was kind and there was plenty of seating for tired legs. Food and drink was readily available with free water and although it was busy it didn't feel crowded.

I recently took my little one to Brighton races on a quiet Monday, and despite the weather, we had a very enjoyable time. The venue was pleasantly quiet, which made it perfect for a relaxed day out with my toddler. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming, allowing us to enjoy the races without the usual hustle and bustle. A special shout-out goes to Havva, a member of the staff, who went above and beyond to make our visit memorable. Despite there being no ice cream van on site due to the weather, Havva took it upon herself to get my son an ice cream. As any parent knows, toddlers aren’t deterred by something as trivial as the weather when it comes to ice cream! Her kindness made a big difference to our day, and we truly appreciated the extra effort. The fog that rolled in during the final race added an unexpected twist to the afternoon. It was quite fun to watch the horses break out of the mist as they approached the final furlong. It gave the race an almost cinematic quality, and it was an experience that we’ll remember fondly. Overall, the people were great, the setting was charming, and we had a wonderful time. We will definitely be back for another visit to Brighton races. If you’re looking for a relaxed and family-friendly day out, I highly recommend it!

It was busy that added to a great afternoon! The racecard was a tad limited on numbers of entries which made the entry fee seem more than many I have frequented! drinks and food available was good! Came down from Twickenham and feel that 7 or 8 races and bigger fields would definitely entice for return trips! Great day and staff attention made it a success 🙌

What an amazing camera shop!! Not only do they have a brilliant selection of quality cameras and equipment, but also have the best customer service! The camera i wanted got sold, but he walked me through all similar options that are at a similar price. They also provided me with an SD card, battery, battery charger and a camera strap for less than the usual price of the same camera without the extras. Couldn’t recommend more!

Amazing place. bought a camera here before my trip to japan at a great price. a strap, SD card reader, SD card, battery and battery charger were thrown in for free and a bag at a discount, customer service was perfect and i was satisfied with my purchase. whilst in japan, i noticed something resembling a hair inside the lens but couldn't see it coming out in the photos. once i got back i visited again to ask about the hair, he explained that you wont see it in photos but sunlight could reflect off it. after which replace the lens completely for free, no questions asked. great place!

Such a knowledgeable guy working and so lovely- he knew exactly what to do despite my camera being somewhat niche. Had exactly what we needed in stock despite camera being old and kit not readily available. Anything not available was due for delivery the next day meaning my camera was up and running in 24 hours! Perfect for any camera queries, highly recommend.

Very grateful for this shops existence as a tourist who needed to hastily replace a lost 35mm camera. The selection of seconhand film cameras was good, ranging from some sought-after pieces like Canon A-1's to more basic point-and-shoot cameras. Prices were on the higher end, but not extortionate like some secondhand camera shops can be. For the price they also included a case, strap, batteries and a garauntee which I felt was worth it.

Would 100% recommend this camera shop. My old little digital camera wasn’t working after I dropped it and the lense became dislodged and Eddie fixed it then and there for me free of charge! I also got a little camera case for just a fiver! Would definitely go back!

On my first visit to Kellie Miller Arts Gallery, I helped my friend follow his heart. He bought a beautiful bust by Melanie Bourget. On my second visit I spent a long time looking at extremely interesting paintings by Steve Fricker, the 'star' of this particular evening but my eyes and mind kept wandering to a Melanie Bourget bust - Coy. I gradually became aware that there was no way I was leaving these premises without her! See the photo showing her in her new home. What I love about this gallery is the fact that the staff are so knowledgeable and helpful without, however, being 'pushy'. They seem to be able to read the audience and know exactly when their advice is needed and appreciated. If ever you get the chance to visit the gallery, do! It is a wonderful experience.

I had the most wonderful experience purchasing artwork from Kellie Miller Arts! They have a great selection of art and artists, and I found a beautiful piece by one of my favorite ceramic artists (Craig Underhill) whom I have been following online. I absolutely love it and found a prominent spot for it at home, and it makes me smile every time I see it. The composition and balance of shapes and colors and textures are outstanding and distinctive, and set Craig apart from other artists. The textures on the piece are fantastic! I live in the United States so the piece had to be shipped to me. The staff at the gallery was delightful, so helpful and professional and I feel like they are new friends! I purchased the piece on the website on Saturday evening, and it arrived safely in Utah, USA the following Thursday! I was surprised and happy to receive it in less than a week, and really appreciated how well it was packed, with all the necessary documentation. I highly recommend this wonderful gallery and hope to visit them in person one day.

This is my first ceramics purchase from a UK gallery and I must say that Kellie Miller impresses me both with their tasteful selection of works and reasonable prices. I am very pleased with the two pieces I bought, one by Craig Underhill and the other by Margaret Curtis, and will surely keep a look out for future works to add to my collection.

We had not intended to buy any more paintings for our Hove flat, as the wall space had become quite limited, but when we saw the stunning, vibrant landscapes by Dana Cowie at Kelly Miller Arts, we were instantly smitten. The compositions very much reminded us of the 19th century Canadian Group of Seven, which we got to appreciate when we lived in Toronto 30 years ago.The scenes are more abstract, the colours are much brighter, and the surface texture is bolder, but there is a strong link, a wonderful development of ‘romantic’ themes by another Canadian artist for the 21st century. The work we chose from a skilfully displayed and highlighted selection in the gallery is now the focus point when we open our front door.
