Went here to try the viral chicken caesar salad wrap and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! All the ingredients were fresh and it tasted so DAMN GOOD! Also the customer service was 10/10 everyone and I mean everyone that I encountered helped me in any way possible with a smile on their face. Cannot wait to return with my family and friends.

Our First visit... So disappointing our pizza had to get completely cold before we could find someone to get some extra sauce or pizza was almost sauce-less. I kept telling us No... 5 people later!!! We got some squad!! But the pizza was absolutely fantastic So much to choose from!! Enormous shrimp, and lobster tails. AGAIN... Cold food, hot food, food to stay, food to go Yum Yum Yum

Great little deli with a lot of yummy food inside. Amazing sandwiches and salads both pre-made and custom. Large variety of drinks and bread. Also the sweets are delicious, particularly the key lime pie, chocolate cake and my favorite the huge cinnamon roll. You get what you pay for though and you get a lot. In my opinion we'll worth it!
Robert O — Google review
A fun and pretty affordable food option for people looking for either a fresh sandwich or salad. I enjoyed how many options they offer but I wish there were some suggested sandwiches so you didn’t have to think so much.

It’s not often that I see extraordinary customer service. So, I was surprised when I had to return something to Eatzies on Oak Lawn. The manager was kind and discrete. She acknowledges that the item had a problem. And quickly offered to replace it or return my money. This, on a crazy Texas OU weekend and at lunchtime. I asked if there was water, to which the girl quickly called the back to get , asking if I wanted ice. We ate in the back, and the girl working the very busy counter saw that my husband’s tea was low and quietly took it, put more ice in it and tea a put back on our table. It’s mind boggling. They deserve praise for their level of service.

Disclaimer – I have been eating here before there was ever a social media in existence. I have been eating here when I was in college and the Internet is just becoming a thing. I used to eat here multiple times a week. In my eyes, these people can do no wrong. It was the most affordable and delicious food for a student eat. When I stop by, I still find the prices extremely reasonable and the food just as healthy as ever. My pictures and videos can’t do it justice. It’s a huge selection and no matter your diet, there will be something here for you.

Subject: Unacceptable Experience – Poor Quality, Rude Staff, and Unsanitary Conditions To the Eatzi’s Oak Lawn Team, I’m writing to express our serious disappointment with a recent visit, and to share why we won’t be returning. We came in to purchase a cake for our sister’s birthday after having a fantastic experience with a previous one. Unfortunately, what we received this time was an embarrassment. The cake was dry, flavorless, and clearly not made with the same level of care or quality. It was a major letdown on a day that was meant to be special. On top of that, the customer service was awful. The staff was rude, unhelpful, and acted like we were a burden rather than paying customers. There was no basic courtesy or professionalism. And to make matters worse, as we considered purchasing additional food, we caught a glimpse into the kitchen area. What we saw was completely unacceptable. dirty floors and visible mold on the shelving. After seeing that, we immediately decided not to buy anything else. It was disturbing and completely undermined any confidence we had in the cleanliness or safety of your food. We came in expecting quality and hospitality. Instead, we left disappointed, frustrated, and concerned. I’m not looking for a gift card or apology template, I just want you to know how far this experience fell from what Eatzi’s used to represent.
Luke R — Google review
I ordered a 9-inch cake, but they sent me a 4-inch instead. There’s no option for a refund—what bad service! I’ve been ordering the same cake every month, and this has never happened before.

American restaurant

Restaurant
Hillstone is an upscale restaurant chain known for its stylish and spacious ambiance, serving a variety of American dishes including burgers and steaks. Formerly called Houstons, the restaurant has maintained its high standards over the years, providing consistently excellent dining experiences. Customers praise the attentive service and delicious food, particularly highlighting dishes like spinach dip, French dip, grilled artichokes (in season), and the Thai Mango Noodle salad with added chicken.
Great experience, very friendly staff with good food. This location is very busy, so having a reservation is helpful. I didn't try the drinks, I just wanted something quick, so I grabbed a salad.
Ron S — Google review
Namesake restaurant of Phoenix based Hillstone Restaurants. They are known for their French dip sandwich which is made with thinly sliced prime rib. It truely is the king of all French dips - nothing I’ve tried anywhere else comes close. Their ribs are good too as is their house smoked salmon appetizer.
J F — Google review
Hillstone offers a warm, upscale atmosphere that sets the stage for an enjoyable meal. The staff was outstanding — friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable about the menu, especially when explaining their signature dishes. While the appetizers — chips, queso, and salsa — were a bit underwhelming, everything else more than made up for it. The ribs were the star of the show: incredibly tender and surprisingly packed with flavor. The Hawaiian steak was also a standout — juicy, well-seasoned, and perfectly cooked. The baked potato was hearty and flavorful, and the creamed corn was a delicious surprise — rich, sweet, and definitely a side dish worth trying. The french fries were crisp and satisfying, but what really elevated them was the seasoning served on the side — a flavorful blend that could honestly be used on just about anything. It’s a great add-on that enhances every bite. All in all, Hillstone is a place I’d highly recommend and definitely plan to visit again. Excellent food, great service, and a laid-back yet refined vibe — it’s well worth your time.
Les J — Google review
The food was great, artichokes were my favourite and the steak was cooked to perfection. Overall, nothing jumped out as extraordinary…. Oh wait! Miss Jordan sure did! She turned what could have been a very average night into a 5 star experience with her charm and positive attitude. Not only was the service perfect, I never had to ask for a single thing. She anticipated every need and made us feel like her only table of the night. I know this is a more upscale restaurant but a better TV wouldn’t kill you!
Liberty A — Google review
I am in love with the Hawaiian Ribeye and I am a Filet Mignon type of gal. This steak is packed with flavor. It is my favorite menu item that I have tried thus far. I’ve also tried the Prime French Dip. It wasn’t my cup of tea. I didn’t care for the texture of the meat and I am not a fan of shoe string style fries. These fries get hard fast. I prefer a thicker cut. Cocktails are strong and the kind that make you want to order a second one . The atmosphere is classy but relaxed. Overall, I’ve enjoyed each and of my visits to Hillstone and I think you will too.
Guilty P — Google review
This place is always a solid spot for good food. My go-to order is the artichoke dip and kale chicken salad. Service is always great here too!
Renay D — Google review
Hillstone has gone through several iterations over the years….. at one time at the peak of the restaurant at its finest quality and with an amazing team it was called Houston’s. I used to frequent this restaurant about four times a week . Sometimes I would go to lunch and grab their club sandwich, which was by far the best in town. By the way that doesn’t exist anymore.. Or I would go out for an evening have a few drinks and enjoy a nice steak . That is just a distant memory from what I experienced yesterday . The weight was long ….. service was about the same I would get at something like IHOP or salt grass. Not saying it was bad, but definitely not saying it was good. It started with an order placed at the bar for a dirty martini …. The bartender was not in a very good mood and didn’t seem like she put much care into the making of the drink. I ordered a couple of other drinks for my guest, same attitude. Then, after about 50 minutes, we got our table . We ordered two filet mignon‘s a basic type of house mix, green salad and a wedge salad I will say the best thing that we ate was the wedge salad . It was good. The biggest issue that we experienced at the table 1st off was everything was brought out at one time our salads and our food at the exact same time so either our steak got cold or we ate our salad. We had one or to stop by from our server. I remember the days at each meal the manager would stop by and check on his guest and ensure they were having a good experience that didn’t happen either. As far they were cooked to our liking, and the quality of the meat was good. One of us had a side of fries and mashed potatoes. The other just had a side of fries. I will say that the fries tasted like it came straight from a freezer bag ….. a far cry from their string tasty french fries that they used to have. The mashed potatoes were lackluster at Best. And honestly, the food presentation was basic if not sloppy. Our total bill was just under $200 not including the drinks that I ordered at the bar . It’s been a long time since I left a restaurant feeling like I definitely didn’t get what I paid for . Disappointed to say the least Hillstone quality does truly matter…… and somehow from this experience, I feel like you have lost your way and your luster.
Ty W — Google review
Outstanding everything. Only negative is I wish they would enforce the dress code and the cell phone in the dining room code. The day my group came in for lunch hostess allowed a group with t shirts and gun shorts to be seated. So sloppy. And the table next us used his cell phone for 10 min which was obnoxious to listen to.

Pizza restaurant
Brunch restaurant
Cocktail bar
Pie Tap Pizza Workshop + Bar is a modern and cozy neighborhood spot in Dallas' Design District, founded by Sicilian-born chef Giovanni Mauro. The restaurant offers handcrafted pizzas, small plates, craft beer, and cocktails. Their menu features delectable options like gigantic cinnamon rolls and savory breakfast sandwiches made with house-made spicy maple sausage and other high-quality ingredients.
We had such a nice evening at Pie Tap. Our server, Marvin, was awesome - really friendly and easy to talk to. The Margherita pizza and Mediterranean salad were both so good, and the chocolate cake was rich and delicious. Even though we got there close to closing, no one rushed us, and we felt really comfortable just enjoying our meal. Great food, great service, and a really nice vibe overall.
Bhumika S — Google review
Elevated pizza, beer and cocktails concept. Differentiation is the twin oven cranking up the heat on a special prep on the dough. End result is very good execution on crust and using all natural ingredients make it complete win. We kicked it off with a Caeser salad that was perfectly executed proper amount dressed romaine with homemade croutons and full cuts of grana predano. Our pizza choices were mushroom which featured a cracked egg and caramelized onions making it unique and a great flavor profile. The chicken was a spin on BBq, good but not great the acid from the peppocini a little strong. Hand graded parmesan a nice touch. Drinks were on point with the spicy margarita hitting the right notes. Definitely worth a second visit for a deeper dive into the menu.
Tedd L — Google review
Been coming here since 2018. Always hits the spot. I will forever always get the Goat Cheese Fondue with Spicy Pepper Jam. Martin and Liz were so amazing. We had ordered something new to try and we weren’t the biggest fans and they were very accommodating and receptive of our feedback. Liz even stayed to chat with us while they made the Pepperoni pizza being made fresh for us. I got the spicy rigatoni and cesear salad. Great lunch special and great happy hour and brunch deals. Always a 10/10. GO HERE! The flavors and fresh ingredients are worth every dime and penny spent. Great service and great atmosphere.
Mark B — Google review
This place was amazing. The pizza was beyond delicious and not to mention the past options. The bar has a nice assortment of craft beers and cocktails. Everyone was very polite and professional. The atmosphere was very welcoming and clean with great style. I would definitely return.

We sat outside and probably should have sat inside. Regardless, our server was wonderful and very attentive to our party of 13. We ordered several of the menu options. We highly recommend the spicy chicken sandwich and some of the pastas. We came with kids and it was so easy and fun.

Mediterranean restaurant
Restaurant
Sachet is a charming dining spot located on the edge of Highland Park off Oak Lawn, offering a flawlessly executed menu of Mediterranean-inspired cuisine. The restaurant's focus is on lighter, vegetable-focused dishes with a big emphasis on sharing.
Sachet has, by far, the best service of any restaurant in Dallas. The service staff were knowledgeable about every single dish, and on top of that, they were professional and friendly. It was me and my wife’s anniversary, and there was a card waiting for us at our table signed by everyone who works at the restaurant. They made it very special for us. The food was delicious, we had the brick chicken, chicken shawarma plate, and the fudge as dessert. Everything was on point and I can’t recommend this experience enough!
Joshua H — Google review
We took the opportunity during a Friday off to visit Sachet—finally. The ambiance very chill and welcoming. Each dish has intense color, personality and spiced just right. Our server Joanna was attentive and ensured any dietary restrictions were kept to. Overall, a delightful break from the usual hustle and bustle of the day—would highly recommend The sparkling water was an extra touch. Dishes ordered: stuffed peppers, beet salad, lentil soup (5 stars!), omelette, casarecce arabbiata
Soudary K — Google review
Just tell me why people wouldn’t give them 5 stars? We were there (me and husband) for our 14th anniversary celebration. The ambience was cozy, not crowded, very intimate… I loved how genuine was every person that came to the table just to congratulate us. Felt really special. Food was AMAZING. On point, portions were good, temperature, presentation. Gregory was our server, super good vibes! It was nice sharing some thoughts. Another guy came to check on us and give recommendations on our dessert wine, which was a nice touch. Definitely will be back with some friends.
Gabriel C — Google review
Best food. Great atmosphere. Service was excellent as well. We love fun and innovative flavors, hit the spot for certain. Tina tartar was splendid, olives are fresh and tasty, wagyu was cooked perfectly. For dessert, have the yogurt...
Mark W — Google review
Our patio seating on a 70-degree spring evening provided the perfect atmosphere to enjoy the Mediterranean inspired menu. The service was exceptional and friendly. The food was delicious. The chicken bites are tender and crispy with the right amount of seasoning. The portion is generous so I recommend taking some home and not getting too full early in the meal. The tagliatelle was light and flavorful. I added a little broccoli and parmesan from my side and I think it enhanced the dish. The shrimp and polenta also tasted great. We finished our meal with the Tunisian yo-yos. The lavender honey and chocolate made for a nice drizzle to complement the sugar. There are several other items on the menu we want to try so we’ll be back!
Grish240 — Google review
Stunning meal. Absolutely delicious. You would think items such as olives, tuna tartare, Wagyu steak, fries, mushrooms have been pretty much played out. Not here. New fresh delicious flavors and seasoned to perfection. ::slow clap::
Christina W — Google review
The salad here is truly exceptional — fresh, vibrant, and bursting with flavor. Every bite feels like a celebration of textures and tastes, with a perfect balance of ingredients. I will definitely be back for it. The dessert was equally impressive, offering something truly unique and delightful.. It wasn’t just delicious, but also beautifully presented, making it a perfect end to a memorable meal. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with a modern yet cozy feel. The menu offered a creative mix of dishes, and every bite was bursting with flavor. The service was attentive and friendly, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Sachet for anyone looking for a memorable meal.
Jiajia N — Google review
We had a wonderful meal and experience at Sachet. The ambience inside was really nice and was a good combination of modern yet warm our server was friendly and well informed us about the menu. We started off with drinks (the amalfi margarita and their take on an Aperol spritz) which were both extremely well made. We then got olives and keftedes (turkey meatballs) and for our entree, we split the casarecce all’arrabbiata pasta. All of the food dishes were excellent with the pasta being my favorite. Overall, I would for sure come back.

Steak house
American restaurant
Seafood restaurant
Dakota's Steakhouse, located in Downtown Dallas, offers a unique dining experience with its underground setting and romantic ambiance. Guests are greeted by a stunning garden waterfall upon arrival, creating a tranquil and sophisticated atmosphere. The restaurant boasts breathtaking views of the Dallas skyline, adding to the enchanting setting. Known for its superb steaks and chops, this establishment has been a Dallas favorite for almost forty years.
Went here for a date night with my wife. The food was great, everything prepared as ordered. The atmosphere is wonderful. The only thing better than the food was the service. From the moment you walk into the restaurant they treat you very well. The hostess was very friendly and quickly showed us to our table. A huge shout out to Judge (his name, not his occupation). He was our waiter. Friendly and helpful. He made sure to check on us. The rest of the staff were also great. Our glasses were never empty. Everyone smiled and looked happy to be there. Seriously, the service was phenomenal. I'm sure all their waiters are great, but ask for Judge. Dakota's is definitely one of my favorite restaurants to have visited.
Santiago — Google review
Dakota's Steakhouse in downtown Dallas offers a dining experience that truly stands out. The water served here is among the best quality I've had in any restaurant, making a simple yet noticeable difference. The staff, including the managers, were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience from start to finish. The atmosphere at Dakota's is unbeatable, ranking in my top 10 restaurant ambiences worldwide. The elegant and inviting setting creates the perfect backdrop for a memorable meal. As for the food, it did not disappoint. I had the ribeye boneless, cooked to a perfect medium well, while my father enjoyed the filet, also cooked to perfection. Both dishes were flavorful and expertly prepared. The only reason I'm giving Dakota's Steakhouse four stars instead of five is due to the dessert, which didn't quite match the high standards set by the rest of the meal. However, this is a minor drawback in an otherwise exceptional dining experience. Overall, I highly recommend Dakota's Steakhouse. Indulge in their offerings and enjoy the impeccable service and outstanding atmosphere.
Ameen S — Google review
10/10, will visit again when in town. Zachary C. was our server and the service was out of this world. I got the 14oz New York Strip, my mom got the 8oz Filet, and we shared sides of Asparagus, Mac and Cheese and Mashed Potatoes. Our bill was under $200! Very reasonable for the quality of service and the quality of food, felt very welcomed and the ambiance was incredible. Server always felt right on time and we never went without what we needed. Like I said, we will be back when we’re in town next. If I could recommend anything I would definitely recommend the filet, my mother got hers medium rare and it was PERFECT. I ordered my NY strip medium and wished I’d gotten it cooler! Overall, I was very impressed with this restaurant and wish I could give more than 5 stars.
Dakota H — Google review
Firstly, don't worry about parking, complimentary Valet is here to save the day. Haven't used it since I live a couple blocks away and can walk. I have been here multiple times for business dinners, dates, dinner with friends and it is always a delight. Gorgeous little underground area with a busy dining room and bar, and a much quiter area with this fountain/waterfall. Good food and very courteous upscale service. Not the best steakhouse in Dallas but one of the best restaurant experiences money can buy in DFW. Hors d'oeuvres and presentation are comparable to Michelin recognized spots around the world. Apps selection is small but has all the steakhouse staples - the pork belly is my favorite and highly recommended. Salads and soups skipped this time but again staples are all there - the wedge and french onion soup are quite good and my go to. Mains were good and steak was cooked to perfection. Get their Beef Wellington if it hasn't sold out! The tiramisu cheesecake is one of our favorites - light and delicious, perfect for 2. Recommend the Crystal Cactus if you want an amazingly refreshing and crisp margarita, otherwise stick to your full bodied Cabs to pair with your steak.

The experience was great. Nice date night with the wife. It is a high end steakhouse so definitely be prepared to spend above the norm ($350 for the two of us without desert). From the elevator down to the restaurant, to the waterfall view and the friendly staff, this made it a joy of a time. The hogs head old fashion was great, the pretzel bread with the salted butter was delicious. The ceaser salad we had before the main course was delicious. My wife had the boneless ribeye topped with black truffle butter and I had the Cowboy bone in ribeye. The sides come as full portions to share, we had the au grautin potatoes and the Mac and cheese. The side were fantastic, the wife enjoyed her steak. I'm pretty picky when it comes to my steak and tend to judge it pretty hard. My steak ended up being $98 by itself and I would say it was good. They stated that it was seasoned but honestly I really only tasted the beef. The cut of beef was good but not buttery tender which was kind of a let down but was still a good steak. Unfortunately I have to say that the bone in ribeye from Longhorn Steakhouse still has it beat for cheaper. I have said this about other high end steak houses as well. Again the experience was perfect for the date night and I'm not complaining at all, just wish the steak was a little bit better for the price.

Dakota’s Steakhouse is truly a hidden gem and one of the finest dining experiences you can have. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere sets the tone—warm, elegant, and perfect whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just want an unforgettable meal. The steaks are nothing short of perfection: cooked exactly to order, seasoned beautifully, and melt-in-your-mouth tender. You can tell they use only the highest-quality cuts. The sides and appetizers aren’t an afterthought either—every dish is crafted with care and full of flavor. The wine list is impressive, and the staff is always happy to recommend the perfect pairing. What really makes Dakota’s stand out, though, is the service. The team is attentive without ever being overbearing, making sure you feel taken care of from start to finish. If you’re looking for a place that combines world-class food, top-tier service, and an inviting atmosphere, Dakota’s Steakhouse delivers on every level. Highly recommended!

Perfect anniversary dinner at Dakota’s Steakhouse! We visited again for our wedding anniversary, and it was just as amazing as the first time. The fine dining ambiance is beautiful and made the evening feel really special. Our waiter was phenomenal so friendly, attentive, and bubbly, which made the experience even better. We started with the crab cake lollipops appetizer — absolutely delicious! My wife had the Ora King Salmon, and I had the boneless short rib, both cooked perfectly and full of flavor. For drinks, she ordered the Island Hopper and I had the Mint Condition both were excellent. Everything from the food to the service was top-notch. Dakota’s never disappoints truly one of the best dining experiences in Dallas!

It was our first visit and we were EXTREMELY impressed. Our waiter (Zach) was very friendly, exceptionally knowledgeable of the menu and it's makeup while the som was more than helpful and a pleasure to speak with. It was my wife's birthday and they went over and above for us!! We frequent excellent steakhouses across the US and Dakota's ranks well in the top group. Cheers!!!

Salad and Go is a quick-service restaurant that offers a variety of options including salads, breakfast burritos, and cold drinks. It has gained popularity for its delicious and nutritious meals, particularly its vegan choices which are not only tasty but also satisfying. The eatery is known for its wide range of plant-based ingredients and flavors in their signature salads or custom creations.
I ❤️ Salad to Go. The salad is always fresh and they always substitute what I can't the have. I just now tried the Asian wrap and was just as good. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The people that work here have always been great.
Karen C — Google review
First time ordering from Salad and Go. I've seen a ton of these pop up and decided to give it a try. There were 7 people in the drive thru during lunch hours (12pm-1pm). It took five minutes to get my order. Yes. That quick. I ordered a Greek salad with chicken and it was delicious. I am very impressed with the quickness and the taste except for their tomatoes. The tomatoes tasted like the ones you find at a gas station in a plastic cup. They tasted gross!!!! I will be back, but I won't order any tomatoes.
Charles B — Google review
Big blob of blue cheese, mushy and stale tomatoes, not so fresh lettuce. Quality seems to be going downhill. Your location does not show up on the website btw, in case someone tries to copy and paste the reply.

Today was my second time getting lunch from this location. About two weeks ago I really wanted a salad for lunch, so during my search, Salad and Go came up, and I decided to give it a shot. Went to Coit location, grab the Buffalo Chicken Salad with the Frozen Strawberry Lemonade. The salad and drink complimented! So today while running errands on lunch, I said well I’ll just go to Salad and Go again. This time it was a tad bit busier than the last time, but I stayed in line. I thought since I ordered the buffalo chicken the first time why mix it up; so I ordered it again. I didn’t check my bag and that’s something I usually do before I leave a restaurant. Once I got back to work I realize that I was given the southwest salad. Guessing honest mistake, no big deal, like I mentioned before it was kind of busy. I’m not a fan of the southwest salad it’s just too busy for me, but I ate it anyway. The cucumber mint lemonade, which I did order was okay! Needless to say this place is pretty good and you get a nice deal. A salad and a drink for under 10 bucks. I will go back again, I’ll just check my bag before I pull off.

I literally work 1 block from this location. There are the best salads I have ever had. So fresh and I had the green enchilada chili today with the Caesar chicken salad it was fire. Every employee is so nice and professional. My coworkers and I order at least twice a week. I absolutely love salad and go. 😘😍♥️
Mary S — Google review
why even have proteins on the menu when they only give you a portion size big enough to feed a mouse. might as well take chicken and steak off the menu because it’s not served here. shame on this company pasta was undercooked today. paid $1 extra and it wasn’t even edible paid extra for steak and found only five, yes five, 1/4 inch by 1/4 inch pieces in my wrap - three of them too tough to eat
Caroline M — Google review
This was a pleasant surprise! I was getting gas ⛽️ next door at the 7-Eleven and noticed several cars pulling up to this place. So after gas I went over. The price is so right! $5.75 The containers are huge for the price! Then their lemonade drinks are only $1. Very refreshing and the cucumber mint 🔥. For 3 salads and 3 drinks my total was 21 bucks! When I’m in the neighborhood again, I will definitely be back.

This review is only meant for today. Every other time I've gone, it has been wonderful! I ordered a BBQ Ranch salad and received some wrap with bacon and chicken in it. It would have been no big deal, but I don't eat meat so I had no lunch and no time to get something else. Pretty sure the order got switched. Just this to say, please check the order you're giving to people. It wasn't at a busy time.

Flower Child is a popular eatery known for its delicious organic, gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan dishes. The menu offers a variety of options including salads, mix-n-match veggie bowls, whole wheat wraps, and flax & chia seed wraps filled with ingredients like spicy tofu and grass-fed steak. The portion sizes are generous and the prices are reasonable. The restaurant uses 100% fresh and local ingredients to cater to various dietary preferences from vegan to paleo.
We took a friend visiting from out of town to explore new healthy food options, and we were happily surprised by Flower Child! Everything we ordered looks and tastes great! The kombucha on tap was not too strong and goes well with the food. The atmosphere here is great! The walls really stand out, and the flowers on each table is a nice touch. Would highly recommend and will be coming back to try more things on the menu.

I had the Mother Nature Bowl and it was fresh, flavorful, and really satisfying. The side of sweet potatoes was absolutely amazing, perfectly roasted with a touch of sweetness. Their lemonades were refreshing and well-balanced. But the highlight for me was the cookies. They are truly the best I have ever had. Soft, rich, and unforgettable. If you visit Flower Child, do not leave without trying one. I will definitely be coming back.

Relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Amazing variety of food. Your choice of protein - including tofu for vegetarian / vegan! I got Mother Earth and LOVED IT! Well presented. Warm. And flavors that left you wanting more. Totally recommend this place.

I’ve had a few meals here, and my favorites are the Cobb salad, enchiladas, and the lemon olive oil cake. However, I’m not a big fan of their drinks. This place is a great spot for a solo lunch or a chat with a friend. Just be prepared for a bit of a crowd on the weekends. If you haven’t been there before, I highly recommend giving it a try. You’ll want to go more than once to try different items on the menu.

Takeout Restaurant
Sweetgreen is a popular chain of counter-serve restaurants in Dallas, offering organic salads and grain bowls. It has gained immense popularity for its locavore-friendly approach and focus on healthy, fresh food. The menu features options like the Green Goddess Ranch salad and perfectly roasted sweet potatoes, as well as the curried cauliflower bowl. Customers can also customize their own salads. While some have praised the delicious flavors and quick delivery service, others have found certain dressings and sauces to be an acquired taste.
We enjoy the variety of meals that sweetgreen offer and are pleased with the service of this location. The inside appears nice; however, we normally take out and have not had any issues with food quality or preparation. Overall, Sweetgreen is a great and convenient way to get tasty, healthy food.

A nice spot with plenty of veggies to choose from. I had the roasted tofu as my protein and it was yummy! The mushrooms were also good! I loved that they tossed the bowl with all of the ingredients I chose. Also, the portions are plentiful, so I have two or three servings in bowl.

We ordered for a second time from here, for delivery for 8 people. Service was just as good as before, no issues. Everyone’s order arrived as expect, no issues. This time I ordered a create your own. It was very good, loved the flavor and freshness. See pick for my ingredients in my create your own. Will definitely order from here again. We ordered lunch from here today to be delivered for 6 people. Pretty easy ordering and delivery, happened within 30 minutes, food arrived still warm. All orders were correct, nothing missing and nothing messed up with any of the 6 orders. I ordered the Hot Honey Chicken, loved the sauce, it had a great taste and flavor. I am not one that eats at the healthiest places, but this food was great, would definitely order from here again in the future.

My first time coming to this location. I walked up to the cashier to let him know I was there to pick up an online order. I guess he was non verbal because he just pointed to where I should go. (Not friendly). My dish was okay, they seem to have put all the pepper in a single spot in the dish, it was odd. They also gave me my order and forgot a dish at first. Thankfully I wasn’t too far out before we both realized the mistake.
Kat K — Google review
I’ve been a loyal Sweetgreen customer for years, and I’ve visited many locations across different states. Unfortunately, after consistently coming to this location for 4+ years, I can confidently say it falls far below the standard Sweetgreen is known for. 1. Bowls & Portions – They’ve switched from the standard bowls to much smaller ones, and staff often try to serve salads on plates when a bowl is clearly ordered. Portions are consistently minimized, and if a topping is even slightly over, they take food back instead of simply serving it. Compared to other states, the portions here are noticeably smaller and feel stingy. 2. Dressing Issues – It’s shocking how often this location is out of balsamic vinaigrette. I understand shortages happen, but it has become a frequent problem. What makes it worse is that balsamic is usually available for delivery orders, yet customers in-store are told it isn’t an option. 3. Customer Service – Aside from a few kind team members, most of the staff seem uninterested in being there, which creates an unwelcoming experience. I hate to leave this kind of review because I truly love Sweetgreen as a brand, but this location badly needs attention from management. The standards here don’t match the quality and experience Sweetgreen promises, and it’s disappointing as a loyal customer.

Been a fan for a long time, so glad to see them finally in Dallas. The salads are always fresh and delicious. You can mix and match ingredients to create your own. This is a very healthy place to eat, you will have a variety of veggies, meat and nuts to choose from. I think some of the items may be regional or are available in certain markets because that's what's in season or abundant, that's just my theory. Very unique salads with those ingredients, you seldom see some of the toppings at any other salad place. As always with these restaurants, you choose the base and then the topping on a progression and pay based on how much you put on your salad. What a welcome addition to the area.
Eva G — Google review
Every time i order Uber Eats from here they literally barely give me any chicken in my salad so this time i made sure to pay the extra $3 to get extra chicken… and lo and behold…. the amount of chicken in my salad got the nerve to be even LESS than it usually is. the picture shows the total amount of chicken i got in my salad -_- is there a chicken shortage at the sweet green factory? this is egregious like bffr bro… god forbid a girl want some chicken in her salad.
Jenny N — Google review
$2 for goat cheese and this is how much they put. I’ve seen them scoop it before dozens of times this is not even close to a full serving. I complain and just get a smug smile. What the actual hell sweetgreen I’ve been a customer for years.

Crisp & Green is a delightful dining destination that truly embodies the essence of healthy eating. With its inviting atmosphere and meticulous attention to detail, this restaurant makes nutritious choices both accessible and enjoyable. The menu features an array of fresh salads, grain bowls, and even delicious acai bowls for those with a sweet tooth—proving that dessert can be healthy too! Guests rave about the vibrant flavors in dishes like the Wild Wild Southwest salad, which leaves taste buds dancing with delight.
Crisp & Green has been our go-to salad spot. Lakewood location staff are so courteous and do amazing salad prep (just look at my bombastic bowl)! I always enjoy peeking in the ice box near the register for the delicious, healthful, canned sparking water/soda drinks. The fountain drinks are good as well. I had the pleasure to meet the manager, Octavio, and after a great chat with him, he pointed me to the Crisp & Green app so that I can get reward points (ones I was missing out on for not signing up sooner). Octavio keeps a great staff and a well-kept, clean restaurant, so it's always a joy and a great experience!

I hadn’t been here since it first opened and honestly had no idea what I wanted. I was also having an off day and not in the best mood, but Anthony was so kind, patient, and helpful. He explained everything clearly, was super accommodating—even let me sample sauces to check the spice level—and really went out of his way to make sure I left happy. Great service makes all the difference, and he nailed it. It’s SO HARD to find people that truly care about their jobs so I thought I would take a moment to recognize him. The Seoul bowl is also a 10/10!

I stopped by Crisp & Green and built my own Seoul Bowl and I have to shout out Anthony for making the entire experience so smooth! I had a few questions about the base, toppings, and dressings, and Anthony was not only patient but super knowledgeable and upbeat. Thanks to his help, I created the perfect Seoul Bowl combo with fresh greens, quinoa, shredded carrots, mushrooms, and two delicious sauces. Everything was fresh and flavorful. I paired it with a refreshing cold-pressed juice, and it was the perfect meal that’s light, energizing, and super satisfying. Anthony’s friendly vibe and helpful suggestions made this visit extra special. If you’re stopping by, I highly recommend asking for him, he’s awesome!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I have legit celiac disease, so eating out can often be stressful and limiting. However, here I felt safe. Meah went above and beyond to make sure my salad was 100% gluten free. She took extra time to do every cleaning precaution and she explained the ingredients clearly. On top of that… the salad itself was incredible—FRESH & FLAVORFUL! Honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. (Got the Golden Hour Curry Bowl) I’m so happy that I found a new celiac safe spot.

Jimmy's Food Store is a well-established Italian specialty shop that offers a variety of high-quality products such as prepared foods, sausages, baked goods, imported cheeses, and pasta. The store is known for its authentic Italian subs made with top-notch ingredients like olive oil, fresh herbs, marinated peppers, Genoa salami, and spicy sausage. Additionally, they offer fresh caprese and muffuletta salads that stand out from typical sandwich shops.
My absolute favorite place to go! The deli has the best meat, cheeses, salads and more. The sandwiches are the absolute best!!! I'm an Italian from Jersey and this is just like being home! I've even purchased Pork Roll here! 💯 Recommended!
Jersey D — Google review
Well...I have been meaning to visit this establishment for many years, and I am so glad that I did. First of all, to get there I had to drive through parts of Dallas that I have never been to in the past 23 years that I have lived here. Seems like gentrification is STRONG in this part of town. In spite of all that, Jimmy's vibe feels like it has been there through every recent and not so recent neighborhood developments. We picked, I think, a lucky time to visit - Thursday afternoon at about 1pm. Parking was easy (street), and there were not too many people in the store. When you walk in, you instantly feel like you belong. There is nothing pretentious about the environment. It feels cozy and inviting. The space is packed with fresh produce, frozen premades, refrigerated house sauces and such. Of course, the main attraction is the deli. Lots of different cuts of meats and sausages, etc...Next time I go back I will need to spend more time exploring the different deli offerings, but I was feeling a little overwhelmed, so the counter person directed my attention to a more simplified menu. My barometer sandwich is always an Italian. I gave my order and then killed 15 minutes browsing the groceries before my name was called. Sandwiches had a decent heft...we took them outside and stood at a small table and ate. The bread was fresh, the deli cuts were tasty and didn't overpower each other. I added lettuce, pickles, mustard, chili tomatoes, and vinaigrette. All of the flavors came together, especially in the middle of the sandwich. Really reminded me of the Grinders I used to get from real delis back in the day before Subway and it's ilk. If you are planning on visiting, then I will say don't hesitate! Fair warning, there does not seem to be any sort dedicated dining area. I will definitely be going back. Next sandwich will most likely be a meatball or sausage or combo of each. Btw, banana split cream soda hit just right.

I came into this shop early for the best selection of meat from the butcher, but I ended up finding out people line up for their sandwiches which were delicious. Staff were friendly and the overall service had a southern hospitality feel. Their prices were fair especially since the sandwiches were so good. I sampled their sausage offerings and from a traditional butcher they have good quality. Overall this is a great place to visit for good quality meat or a delicious sandwich.

I had a great experience getting food from Jimmy’s. I got the calabrese panino which was fantastic and much bigger than expected. It was flavored well and the bread was nicely toasted making it exactly what I hoped for. Despite multiple people being there, the sandwich was prepared quickly and I enjoyed walking around the store while waiting. I also got a cannoli which was delicious. It wasn’t too sweet or rich making it a very enjoyable dessert. Overall, I had a fantastic experience here and would definitely return for another sandwich. I’m also eager to try their selection of meats, cheeses, and wines.

Ordered the Italian beef sandwich and the Muffuletta. The sandwiches were good. The beef sandwich was on the salty side. This was my first time having a Muffuletta. I liked the sandwich. It's a big sandwich even for a 6 inch. If you better like olives, that's about all I could really taste. It's a small store with the sandwiches in the back with the deli meats and cheeses. It can get very busy and cramped. When it's busy, the parking is bad. The staff still made the sandwiches very quickly. I would suggest ordering ahead. There are no tables.

CBD Provisions, located in the upscale Joule Hotel, is a modern Texas brasserie offering creative Texan comfort dishes and cocktails in a stylish setting. The restaurant is known for its scratch-made menu of locally sourced food, including delightful dessert creations. The green chili pork migas is a popular breakfast choice with Mexican-influenced flavors. Additionally, CBD Provisions is praised for its exceptional service provided by attentive and friendly staff who ensure a memorable dining experience.
Had breakfast this morning at CBD inside The Joule, and it really hit the spot. I got the Dallas Omelet—super fluffy, came with a fresh side salad, and I added jalapeños that brought just the right amount of kick. They even had oatmilk for my coffee, which I appreciated without having to ask twice. My nephew had the pulled pork breakfast tacos, and while he thought the eggs could’ve used a little more seasoning, the pulled pork was solid and those breakfast potatoes were bussin—crispy, flavorful, and honestly the best thing on his plate. The vibe at CBD is relaxed but still feels nice. The place is bright, clean, and not too loud—just a good spot to slow down in the morning. Clarissa, our server, was great. Super friendly and on point without hovering or rushing us. We weren’t staying at The Joule, just came in for breakfast, and I’m glad we did. The food was good, the service was even better, and the whole experience felt easy and enjoyable. Would definitely come back next time I’m in downtown Dallas looking for a chill breakfast spot.

AMBIENCE, great food offerings, but the service is lacking. The atmosphere rivals any NYC restaurant . The food is delicious and priced right. I SAW my waiter, Oscar , ONE time and even then he was not very friendly and rushed. Looks like he could use some help. Hiram, the new host, is awesome! Overall, I recommend CBD. Tucked under the cool, shadowy corridors of The Joule, CBD Provisions doesn’t scream for attention. It doesn’t need to. It just is. A steakhouse? A brunch spot? A downtown watering hole? Who cares. What it is, is good. The kind of place that doesn’t try to impress you because it knows it already has. And then there is Sal. Sal isn’t just a bartender. He’s the kind of man who remembers your drink, your dog’s name, and the fact that you had a bad Tuesday two weeks ago. He’s got that rare quality that most hospitality folks fake and few genuinely possess: empathy. He’s top 10, maybe even top 5, in a lifetime of bars from Bangkok to Brooklyn. The kind of guy who makes you feel better before the first sip. The food? Designed by someone who cares. Smash burgers with just the right amount of filth and crunch. Tuna nachos that are confident enough to be loud without being obnoxious. Deviled eggs that belong in some Southern grandma’s heirloom cookbook. Omelettes that make morning meetings tolerable. Chicken clubs that don’t play around. Nothing phoned in. Nothing lazy. And then there is the 4 to 6 PM daily happy hour. A window of salvation in the middle of a city where happy hour usually means watered down well drinks and stale fries. Here, it means quality, consistency, and maybe a few life lessons from Sal, if you are lucky. In a downtown full of culinary tourists and pretenders, CBD Provisions is the real deal. A love letter to those who still give a damn.

Came in and met a friend for brunch Restaurant was empty with the exception of 2 other tables. Ordered pastries they were sold out So ordered pimento toast Before the pimento toast came they told me they had 1 croissant and fresh blueberry muffins The croissant was underbaked and inedible The muffin didn't have many berries in it and tasted like flour needed some love Our server was slow and too chatty Got the pimento toast after a long wait and it was extremely underwhelming.. barely any pimento and an undressed unseasoned salad on top The bread was really nice though (also made at their bakery called "commissary" ) Got the eggs benedict 8/10 the corn muffin base was too heavy and lacking in flavor but the rest of the dish was heavenly especially the breakfast potatoes absolutely flawless cook and seasoning on those And the chilaquiles was phenomenal i couldn't stop eating it was so addictive every bite more interesting than the next. Really loved that dish. Would come back to try dinner I think this place when operating with its A team would be a 10/10

We had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at the restaurant inside The Joule, CBD Provisions. From the moment we arrived, the ambiance was upscale yet inviting—perfect for a memorable night out. Our server, Ben, was exceptional! His energy, attention to detail, and genuine enthusiasm elevated our evening. He offered thoughtful recommendations and made sure every course was perfectly timed and beautifully presented. The highlight of our meal was the rack of lamb—perfectly cooked, tender, and richly flavorful, topped with vibrant herbs that brought everything together. Every bite was a delight. Ask for Ben—he’ll take great care of you!

CBD is special, especially if you order the Berkshire pig head. Brined for 5 days, steamed and roasted, and served with all the accompaniments for the most memorable taco dinner you'll ever have. Besides that, the cocktails are fantastic, service top notch, and all the food is divine. We've been about 5 times, had the pig's head thrice, and a number of other dishes that keep us coming back for more. Tonight, we had the cauliflower and beef tallow fries as sides, and the Texas sheet cake and strawberry shortcake as part of a birthday dinner. Not a single shortcoming could be shared. Our 6 and 8 year old boys had a blast, just as our parents have before. You can't help but enjoy yourself. It's a beautiful restaurant, in an equally beautiful hotel, run by great people. Our server Ben was helpful, friendly, and attentive, as was the busser. And the chef came out to talk about our food, too. Highly recommend. We will be back again, and we can't wait until.

Dark trendy restaurant inside of the Joule. The waitress was attentive and gave excellent recommendations. We had the shrimp and crab cocktail and it was actually pretty spicy in the best way possible. Usually do not expect food to be spicy and that definitely was. Not pictured but the mushroom pasta dish was absolutely incredible. Add some steak to it and you have the perfect dinner. The salmon wasn’t bad but the purée at the bottom made it definitely worth it. It was my birthday and they brought me a pineapple upside down cake which was also very good!

Kenny's Italian Kitchen is a classic Italian restaurant located near Highway 75 in Addison, Texas. The eatery offers a cozy and traditional atmosphere with its checkered tablecloths and dark wood furniture. The menu features authentic Southern Italian-American cuisine, including seafood, veal, pasta dishes like spaghetti and meatballs, as well as linguine. Additionally, the restaurant provides a family-friendly environment with a special menu for kids.
Y’all. We just found the most amazing Italian restaurant in Dallas—and nearly everything can be made gluten-free! 😭🍝 We were out on a date night and happened to drive past @kennysitaliankitchen—I had it on my list because I’d heard they had gluten-free options. So glad we stopped! Our waitress told us that almost the entire menu can be made gluten-free—and it’s celiac-safe, prepped in a separate part of the kitchen. That alone made my night! Even better? They had vegetarian options too. I ordered the eggplant parmesan, and let me tell you… it was next-level good. Perfectly crunchy (not soggy like it usually is), with a rich, flavorful sauce. You can literally see the crispy texture in the dish—absolutely beautiful and delicious. And yes—they have gluten-free bread! Soft, warm, fluffy little pillows of joy. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve sat at Italian restaurants watching everyone else eat bread while I sip water. Not this time. 🥹 The vibe? Classic and cozy—checkered tablecloths, soft candlelight, family photos on the walls, and Italian music floating through the air. Total old-school charm. They can also make regular (non-GF) versions of dishes, so everyone in your group will be happy. Honestly, everything was incredible. This place is an absolute gem, and I already know I’ll be back very soon!

Kenny’s Italian Kitchen will delight you. Each time that I have visited it has been absolutely devine. The servers are friendly and welcoming. The food will leave a lasting impression . I am in love with their Shrimp Scampi. First of all, you better bring your appetite, because the portions are hearty. I love that Kenny’s doesn’t skimp on the food. 😉 The scampi was packed full of flavor . The pasta was cooked perfectly . The Chicken Parm knocked my socks off. I will be having that on my next visit. If you are looking for delicious Italian food with a lot of value, please check out Kenny’s Italian Kitchen. 💜

Had reservations, for a party of four. Got there a little early, and the hostess asked if we would like drinks from the bar while we were waiting for our table which was super nice. Drinks were delicious. When we were seated service was fantastic. They also let you split entrees or do half and half entrees which was great especially for me because I couldn't make up my mind what I wanted. This was my first visit but it definitely won't be my last. I mean just look at the pictures of the food. It tasted better than it looked even.

Kenny’s seems like an old Italian institution for Dallas. The entire vibe of the restaurant showcase lot of old classic recipes. The server was quick and responsive she walked us through various options. Every dish we ordered was amazing and had lot of flavor it definitely does leave you heavy with cream or cheese it’s light and perfect. I really enjoyed all the dishes I had the chicken special was spot on, the calamari was amazing. Each sauce had different flavor profile shows they have amazing flavors and recipes. I would definitely recommend anyone who wants to try authentic Italian cuisine to give Kenny’s a go.

Food was pretty good, service was great. We were here for the 1st time to celebrate our anniversary & the waiter suggested the half & half plates option and we loved the choice. Ordered (Fettucine Alfredo + Gnocchi Asiago substituted with Whole Wheat Penne) & (April Special Shrimp Florentine + Chicken Scaloppini) Alfredo was great, Asiago was amazing with the basil pesto sauce, Florentine was okay… had better tasting Florentine elsewhere, sauce could have been a little yummier & Scaloppini was also pretty good. Only Major complaint was we were seated at one of the corner tables & my wife was getting bitten by mosquitoes, hope this can be handled for a pleasant experience for future customers.

It has been a very long time since I’ve reviewed this restaurant. It definitely deserves another mention. We’ve been eating at Kenny’s for many years now and it never disappoints. SO Good! Tonight our waiter was Cedric who did a superb job. We both ordered Sicilian shrimp fettuccine. One plate also has gnocchi, the other has chicken piccata. Delicious! Thank you!

The Porch is a lively gastropub located in the Knox-Henderson neighborhood, offering upscale comfort food and creative cocktails, wine, and brews. The Stodg Burger, named after Dallas lawyer Steve Stodghill, is a must-try with its indulgent combination of flavors including cheddar cheese, applewood-smoked bacon, fried egg, and foie gras spread on a thick burger.
My husband and I had an enjoyable late lunch. The food was absolutely delicious. The waitress, Joy, was amazing and knowledgeable. The atmosphere was very nice. Drinks were well made. We will definitely be back!

I had the pork belly club sandwich. The sourdough toasted bread was perfect, the pork belly was very delicious but a bit tough. It was supposed to have green tomatoes, but I only saw a small piece and it had too much dressing. I still enjoyed it. Fries were OK. Wife had the brisket tamales which were excellent but tiny. Perfect for her. Beans portion was also tiny 10-12 beans total, but they tasted great. Rice was ample but a bit bland. The yellow color was beautiful but not indicative of the taste. She really wanted the poke bowl though, but they were out of the ingredients necessary - we were having a late lunch at 1:30 pm. Service was superb overall. We had a nice time and enjoyed the meal.

Second time I have been here in recent weeks and I really enjoyed my dinner of chicken fried steak with a side of buttery mashed potatoes and a small side salad (mixed greens) with a balsamic dressing. My wife had the Porch Salad with grilled salmon on it for her entre. It was very good but they put a little too much dressing on it in her opinion. Mother-in-law had the roasted tomato soup!! Very good but a little thick for a soup. Our server was new and she was fantastic. The reason for a four on service was there were a bunch of staff just standing around when we got there and the initial service was a bit slow. The first time we went, it was very slow and the guy who brought out are food seemed rude. Parking is valet only which I don’t particularly care for the fact that there is not much of a self parking option. My previous visit a few weeks ago we came for brunch and I enjoyed a very good burger and fries plus a delicious cinnamon roll that was large enough to share.

We went to The Porch for lunch. Monique was a great server. She made sure we had a lovely experience. The Club was yummilicious. We got it warmed with some extra mayo on the side per Monique’s suggestion. The hot chicken sandwich was moist and had the right amount of crispiness and flavor. I got it with BBQ sauce instead of Nashville hot just based on my taste preference. I think it’s chicken thigh but was delish nevertheless. Fries and side salad were as expected. The finale, a perfect bite of the fried butter cake with the ice cream and caramel sauce was like nothing I’ve ever tasted. Sooo good.

This is a wonderful place to grab dinner if you are looking for a moodier vibe. The ambience in the evening is somewhat dark and perfect for a date night. The cocktails were good but the cuisine was even better. We took kids because we’re from out of state but you know what? It worked! Get the half chicken. It was divine. The capers gave it a special twist.

The food was Fabulous. As we do everywhere, we pretty much ordered one of everything but the Porch Salad and Crab Cake were to die for. The Spinach dip was also phenomenal. I could go on and on about the food but really I’d love to go on and on about our server Elliot. A true professional. The service was on par with a Michelin Star. Thoughtful recommendations, impeccable timing and flawless customer service from start to finish. Food was Fabulous but Elliot was the true star of the show

Wow, ten out of ten! This will be a staple from now on. Not only did they accommodate the request for chicken fried steak at brunch even though it’s a dinner only item, they were so friendly and attentive. Thank you so much! If you want some insanely mouth watering CFS and mashed potatoes. Go to The Porch! P.S. If the valet says there is a long wait time, ignore them and check for yourself. We were told 40 minutes by the valet but parked anyway and were seated immediately.

Boulevardier is a chic and sophisticated French bistro known for its upscale cuisine, classy cocktails, and extensive wine selection. Located in a cozy neighborhood off the main Bishop Arts dining area, this restaurant offers a delectable menu featuring French-inspired dishes such as French onion soup, beef tartare, steak frites, pastas, lamb chops, and wood-grilled fish.
I still think about these oysters often. Highly recommend. The best thing we had that night but everything else was also delicious. It was our first time so we just ate several appetizers to get a feel for the food. Will definitely be coming back. It’s a dark trendy restaurant that makes an amazing date night spot. Would make a reservation.

Update: Went back for my birthday after looking forward to it for so long. We even drove for 30 mins on a stormy night to enjoy this dinner. WOW. What a disappointment?! The Grilled baby octopus appetizer was so over salted that it burned! Crawfish Beignets were good but they were out of the bone marrow. The onions in French onion soup were not properly caramelized and that was not real Gruyere Very good Mushroom Risotto but the Duck Confit was a salt bomb, served with warm, not hot, gooey, gnocchi and cold green beans. Even after returning it, the second serving was just as salty and cold The Steak was served on a cold plate and pre cut, resulting in that nice piece of Ribeye (that we upgraded to) taste cold! No recognition of my birthday which was on the Open Table reservation and that we told the waiter about. The hostess admitted knowing it too. It seemed she was too busy texting on her phone all night. Oh and at no point did a manager come to the table to apologize or care! Was this just an off night? We'll never know as we certainly are not going back! What a shame. If only it tasted as good as it looked 2019: Great food, wine list and service. Thank you for a nice dinner

It was date night for my wife and I and we wanted a good burger. We searched for a place and Boulevardier came up. It is not a hamburger joint but it has one of the best hamburgers that my wife and I ever ate. Our server Kristen was so wonderful. She really took care of us. Although we were there for hamburgers we will definitely come back to try other menu items.

The ambience and food are a bit underwhelming for the location and price point. We got the woodgrilled oysters, egg muérete and the steak and eggs. Everything was good but nothing extraordinary that you wouldn’t find elsewhere at a better price. The interiors and the presentation of food was lackluster. Parking is hard to find, so plan ahead or do the valet.
Sam — Google review
Unobtrusive restaurant hidden in the heart of the Bishop of Arts District. Apart from the cuisine, the most attractive thing about this place is the excellent service and atmospheric lighting The wood-grilled oysters were fresh and well-seasoned. NY Strips was my favorite; the steak was delicious, and the combination of fresh asparagus and mashed potatoes added to the flavor of each other Brûlée was relatively ordinary since other dishes were too good.
Kuan Y — Google review
Three stars solely for the music and the service. The Bloody Mary tasted like hormel chili, the duck leg was extremely dry, and the croque madame was lukewarm. We also did the crawfish beignets and although we didn’t taste much crawfish or feel like it was an accurate representation of a beignet it did taste pretty good. We won’t come back for brunch but might try dinner.
Nathan C — Google review
Boulevardier brings delicious French cuisine to your table with a very casual feel. I stopped in after they reopened from Covid and everything I ordered was great. The service was a tad lacking but they've been closed for many months so I assume there are kinks to work out.
Chase N — Google review
Boulevardier is a good restaurant with solid service, food and drinks. We ordered 5 appetizers and 3 drinks: The crawfish beignets were only ok. The the presentation of the dish was good. As you cut into the beignet, you could see inner filling along with the crawfish. This gave me an anticipation for full flavors. I was hoping for an explosion tucked inside the nicely fried outer layer. When I actually tasted it, however, the flavors were too mild. Perhaps a beignet creole dipping sauce would have taken this dish to another level. The roasted bone marrow was alright. While the bone marrow itself was good, it did not come adequately seasoned. Instead, they provided a small dish of flakey sea salt for you control the amount salt. Doing this, however, made the first bite of the dish flat and unappealing. The condiments of the garlic confit was good, but the gremolata was a bit overpowering so be careful how much you use. The toasted buttered baguette that accompanied the dish was fantastic. Likewise, the mussels were alright. The mussels themselves were cooked to perfection. Soft and tender and not rubbery at all. But the broth served with the mussels did not hit the spot. It was good and had depth of flavor, but no surprises. Perhaps adding Thai chili or Chorizo would elevate this dish. Additionally, a side of toasted buttered baguette would have been great to soak up the broth. Now for my favorites: the wood grilled oysters and fois gras. The wood grilled oysters are a must try. The dish was executed to protection. The oysters were perfectly cooked, keeping their soft and light texture. The spicy casino butter took the oysters to another level. The chunks of smoked bacon was another nice surprise, adding great texture and the smoke flavor permeating each bite. The fois gras was fantastic. The fois gras was seasoned well and melted in my mouth. The cracker was a great balance to the sweetness of the jam. Depending on how much of the jam you applied, this dish could almost be considered a dessert. I could totally envision vanilla ice cream served along side. Now for the drinks: Old Fashioned, Steep Buzz and a new holiday drink. My favorite was the Steep Buzz. If you like bourbon and spicy ginger, this drink is for you. The holiday drink was good, nice holiday flavor. And the Old fashioned, well it’s an Old Fashioned. Bottom line: Boulevardier is a solid restaurant. Some good dishes, and some that are exceptional. The drinks were good and worth trying. Give this place a try. With tax and tip this meal cost me about 180 dollars and I would say it’s worth the try.

Porta Di Roma is a downtown venue offering homestyle Italian cuisine with streetside views. The menu is tantalizing, and the aromatic smells from the kitchen transport diners to Italy. The pasta alla carbonara is a culinary masterpiece. While some have had negative experiences with customer service and food quality, others have had 5-star experiences, praising the authentic Italian delicacies like Veal Saltimbocca and Shrimp & Scallop Risotto.
Nice little Italian restaurant with a long menu of lunch specials and several beers on tap. It's surrounded by office and apartment buildings and has paid street and garage parking nearby. We enjoyed the lasagna Bolognese and gnocchi. The fresh baked buns were a nice compliment. The service was thoughtful and attentive.

I decided to eat here on a Sunday evening after flying in with my coworkers for a medical equipment and supply convention. Unfortunately, the hotel employee recommended this place. The service was extremely slow. Our party of four barely touched our food—it was disappointing and could have been much better. The waitress kept forgetting our order, and the older blonde woman was just as unhelpful. We will never return!

The food was honestly really good. More of a casual Italian place if you don’t want to have to dress up but still want some good food. I felt like our waitress forgot about us for a while after we ate but it was fine because we were chatting. The vodka sauce was amazing, since I’m vegetarian and couldn’t have the normal vodka pasta on the menu k swapped it out for penne and that was no problem. Espresso martinis were very espresso strong, and the tiramisu could have been a little more moist but otherwise very good overall.

We needed a place to eat before seeing a show at The Majestic Theater and found this lovely spot on the map. I had the Gnocchi Gorgonzola, and my wife had the Chicken and Spinach Lasagna with Crème sauce. Both dishes were beautifully presented with an edible flower on top, and they were delicious and perfectly cooked. The staff were great, and we were very happy to have chosen this place for our pre-concert dinner. We will definitely be back before the next show at The Majestic.

Set in an industrial area but really easy to find with ample parking. We came here after having dinner on Lovers Lane. It was the perfect nightcap. I loved the whipped coffee I had. The bottom layer was a milk texture but with a perfect hint of sweetness. This was topped with an amazingly fluffy whipped coffee. The entire drink was so well made. Hubby got a latte which he said was decent. I also ordered a famous cuatro leches cake but they do the single serving in a cute glass jar. We have been patrons of La Duni for many years, back when they were at Northpark mall & McKinney locations. We were passing through Dallas on the way home and wanted to go back! The current location is in an industrial area- so restaurant seating is Intimate and seats about ~10 so we were so lucky to get a seat right away on Saturday for lunch! Don’t let the outside industrial vibe scare you off, their food and bakery and coffee is just as solid as it was 10 + years ago even at their larger locations. We loved being able to visit with the owners in this current setting- enjoyed a wonderful lunch of chilaquiles, huevos con carnitas and coffees. The quality is 💯💯 and they care very much about delivering excellent quality & service. We bought bakery items to enjoy at home because our bellies were so full and happy! 🥰🥰 we are so glad they are here for all to enjoy their amazing meals and bakery items! People were buying so many cakes for Easter as well. Check them out you won’t be disappointed! ♥️♥️

This charming spot has easily become one of my favorite places in the city. It's a coffee shop and restaurant that feels uniquely special in every sense. From the moment you step inside, the ambiance transports you, offering a slice of life that feels worlds away from Texas. Its intimate setting fosters a wonderfully communal spirit; you're almost guaranteed to meet friendly new people, creating the warm feeling of being part of one giant family. The food is fantastic, with massive portions that are only rivaled by the amazing, mouthwatering flavors. The chilaquiles are an absolute must-try! However, the most special thing about this place is its incredible selection of unique coffees and baked goods. They are the true stars of the show and the reason I can never leave empty-handed. It’s a three table restaurant so I sat outside at a little two seater on the stoop. Everything was delicious. I ordered the torta cubana with yucca fries, both had so much flavor and the chimichurry was out of this world. I had to try the buttery popover and it too was so good. The coffee was excellent and served with a delicious little cookie. If you are lucky enough to get a place to sit on a Saturday morning you will not regret the experience.

Good for the soul. Was having the most unfortunate day I won't bore you with. Searched for a coffee place that I could get some work done while I waited indefinitely. The location was concerning but I leaned into being spontaneous. Chatted with a nice customer at a table and I got what he got, Carne Asada. Words fail me here. For context, I never buy steak because I can usually make a steak better than I can buy it. Sous vide, smoked, aged etc. Point being I know good steak because I've been working the craft for years and this is possibly the 2nd best prepared steak I've ever had in my life. The beans were perfectly seasoned, the plantains were exceptional and the peppers with cheese sauce were everything my heart needed in this moment. If you come here and decide you don't like the food, go see a doctor. Your taste buds are broken. Sincere thanks to the operators here for putting so much pride into their product.

✨ The Pollo Asado absolutely blew me away. I have never had a dish with so many elements, each cooked to absolute perfection. The grilled chicken was juicy and smoky, the rice fluffy, the plantains perfectly caramelized, and the black beans were rich, silky, and seasoned just right. Every bite felt intentional and balanced. It honestly transported me to a culinary gem somewhere in Curaçao or the Bahamas—vibrant, soulful, and unforgettable.

Terilli's Restaurant is a beloved gem in Lower Greenville, Dallas, known for its down-to-earth Italian cuisine and lively ambiance. The restaurant boasts an Art Deco interior with white tablecloths, creating a romantic atmosphere that has become the backdrop for many first dates and engagements over the years. On weekends, guests can enjoy live piano music in the main room or head to the rooftop terrace for stunning views while sipping on Espresso Martinis and indulging in traditional Italian dishes.
We had a wonderful meal with wonderful service for our recent date night at Terilli’s. My wife and I shared the house Italcho’s and split the meat lasagna with Caesar salads. The lasagna was very meat forward and light on cheese, which I preferred but my wife didn’t love. The Caesar salad was fine, but not fantastic. The italchos were delicious, I would highly recommend them. The basil lemonade martini and the Bellini martini were delicious! Our server was helpful and kind, and very prompt with all his service. We didn’t get the chance to eat on the terrace up top but it sounded lovely up there. This is a must try place.

Terilli’s was the last stop on a full day of date activities. We started at the Arboretum then headed over to the restaurant for great Italian dishes. I ordered the Capellini De Angelo with a refreshing glass of Sangria. The meal was delicious and well portioned. After our meal we headed up to the rooftop for drinks, people watching and boxing being displayed on the screens. Great overall atmosphere!

Terilli’s was great!! We went on a weeknight and made reservations inside, although it was not super crowded so probably not needed. The atmosphere is intimate inside, and they appear to have nice outdoor patio seating as well. I notified the waitress of my lactose intolerance before ordering, and although it’s not an allergy and a little dairy won’t hurt, it was not taken very seriously. I asked if the meatballs had cheese on them and she confirmed they did not, and then they came out with cheese on them. It was not a huge deal, the meatballs were still delicious and I scraped it off but not the level of care I would expect after reading some of the other reviews. I ordered the Walnut Salad with blackened salmon on top. It was divine - the perfect mix of flavors and the salmon was perfectly cooked. Also such a generous portion of salmon on the salad - I was shocked! My husband got the Spicy Chicken Penne and said it was some of the best pasta he’s ever had. Also an incredibly generous portion for him! We will be back, looking forward to trying the rooftop next time!

Our "date night"experience at Terilli's was absolutely enjoyable overall. The waitress was absolutely amazing, attentive and friendly and the piano player was lit making the evening extra special. The drinks and dessert were definitely 5-star quality! While the main dishes were decent, they didn’t quite reach the same level. Still, we appreciated the effort and the wonderful service and will definitely be back for a date night

First time at Terilli’s Restaurant, I had a great experience will definitely be going back. I got the Terilli’s Old Fashioned and it was well balanced and had a great taste. I also recommend the Itachos and pasta with meatballs very delicious and will be going back for more. I also got the lobster ravioli but it didn’t have good flavor and didn’t enjoy it very much.

The perfectly chilled $7 Happy Hour House Martini is classically served with your choice of Blue Cheese stuffed olives— or deliciously plump, decadent imported olives. Pair yours with an inventive variety of $8 scrumptious sliders.

Mario is fantastic and so dedicated to make the place run smoothly. I watched him go through the restaurant helping everyone because the place was so crowded. Roberto is a fantastic bar tender as well as Gonzo. Will return again when I fly back to Texas. NC resident .

We went on a Friday night without making reservations. So we waited about 45 minutes at the rooftop bar, which was lovely. The bartender, Mia, made the BEST espresso martini! She was an absolute joy! (Such a beautiful smile!) Once seated, our server, Conner, was awesome as well. The atmosphere was lively and they had a piano player. Great place for dinner and drinks with friends! Apps and food were excellent. We’ll definitely be back! Loved it!

This was a great experience. The food is fantastic and I can attest for the flavor. Everything is fresh and crisp. The waitress Kendall was amazing and her service was just perfect - come and ask for her ! I will be coming back soon. Guys please, try the curry yummo !!!

I recently visited True Food Kitchen in Dallas for lunch on a busy Wednesday. Upon entering, the place was extremely packed and, honestly, one of the loudest restaurants I’ve ever been to. The interior had a great look—very inviting with a lovely aesthetic—but the acoustics were just off, making the noise level almost unbearable. It was so distracting that we opted for the patio instead. We waited about 20 minutes to be seated on the patio, even though we could see several available tables from where we were standing. It seemed like there might have been a shortage of servers, as there were a few empty tables mixed in with the occupied ones. The manager or supervisor was extremely nice but seemed quite insistent that we sit inside, possibly because we were standing in the way and they wanted us seated quickly. Once we were finally seated outside, the experience improved. The patio is gorgeous and spacious—a much better option than the noisy indoors. The server started off a bit dry but became more attentive when they noticed I was taking photos and videos. As for the food, I had the chicken sandwich. It was tasty but on the smaller side—not the most filling meal, but still enjoyable. Overall, the patio ambiance and the decent meal have me willing to give True Food Kitchen another try, especially if I can snag a patio seat from the start.

I visit here with a friend and we wanted something light. We came to the right place. The food is not heavy and it's actually healthy conscious. I got a pesto pasta and I added chicken. It was delicious. Again, because the food is not heavy. You're living with a sense of emptiness, so I ordered a cookie for dessert. The chocolate cookie was okay. It was not sweet at all which I liked. Overall is a nice place in a nice area. It's a bit on a expensive side. But granted, I added chicken to my dish (which is 6 dlls), and I also order a glass of wine. If you just go there for the food, I think you we'll be fine.
Jesus F — Google review
Food is a 10/10, service is a 100/10. Tried all vegan and gluten free options. The flourless chocolate cake stood out(ordered it twice)! Drinks: ‘Bright eyes’ has a very strong beetroot flavor. ‘Hangover Rx’ is just perfect if you like mild sweetness.
Gauri K — Google review
I wanted to like True Food Kitchen because the food itself was actually very good, but the overall experience left me disappointed. (One of us even had stomach issues afterward, which didn’t help.) The biggest drawback was the service — our waiter was rude and rushed us the entire time. He brought the check while we were still eating and even dropped off “to go” drinks while we were still catching up, despite the fact that the lunch rush was already over. It felt like we were being shoved out the door. The atmosphere is upscale and trendy, and the patio seating is nice, but the pricing was way out of line. My poke bowl came out to $40 because the waiter added 2x extra tuna without mentioning that to me. For what we paid ($110 before gratuity for lunch for 3 people without alcohol), the experience should have been much better. The food alone would have earned a higher rating, but the poor service ensures I won’t be returning.
Greg O — Google review
Food was amazing and very accommodating to dietary needs. Our server was attentive and the restaurant setting was nice and welcoming. The strawberry passion fruit tart was delicious.

We dined here a couple weeks ago on the patio and our server Jillian was absolutely amazing. She was super knowledgeable about the menu and made our experience incredible. We loved the coffee and our chopped salad. We will definitely be back.
Tara E — Google review
It makes “healthy” taste like something you’d actually want to eat. The menu is seasonal, colorful, and packed with flavor—everything from the bowls to the pizzas feels fresh and intentional. Drinks are fun too, with juices and cocktails that don’t feel like an afterthought. The vibe is modern, bright, and buzzing without being overwhelming. Prices lean upscale, but the quality, service, and atmosphere back it up. A solid spot whether you’re on a kale kick or just hungry.

The restaurant has expanded to 17 locations across Texas. It's known for its lively Latin atmosphere and is a popular choice for birthday celebrations and group dinners.
Visited during Mother’s Day and had a great visit, as always! The outdoor area was my favorite—beautifully decorated, ample seating, and full view of the fountain. All the food and drinks we tried were fresh and you could tell they were made with high quality ingredients. Thanks to the staff for making us feel at home and treating us to a great time.

I love this Gloria’s! It has so much character, great seating options (upstairs, an outdoor patio, a semi-outdoor patio, and regular first floor dining), and the food and drinks are delicious! The service is always great and friendly. My favorite things there so far are: the black bean dip and red salsa, the Sour Cream Chicken Enchiladas, the Pollo con Champiñones, and the Serrano Garlic Salmon (YUM!). Definitely recommend!!

I appreciate being served well any day of the week. We were sat almost immediately and it was busy. Server came over and we could tell we were going to be ok. She was engaged and had a great attitude. Checked on us multiple times as we were having a team meeting and didn’t order right away. The beans and salsa that are complimentary with the chips are amazing. The queso was extraordinary. Needless to say the dinner plate A la Mexicana was absolutely amazing. I shall return to try the rest of the menu.

We sat at the bar. The food and the drinks were great, per usual. The bartender, however... A different story. He was not attentive all, and the bar was not crowded. We spent more time trying to get his attention and flagging him down for service. He gave us no eye contact, and rarely asked if we needed anything. Our visit would have ended earlier if we didn't waste time waiting for him. Definitely not the Gloria's standard that I'm used to.

11/10 This place is truly one of a kind. We went there last night, and it was the best experiences we've ever had, from the service to the food. We received wonderful service from Carlos and he was absolutely delightful and his charm made our night! The food made us awestruck. As someone who loves fine dining, Asador has the best quality and freshest food by far. The freshness with crisp textures were sensory heaven and flavors were immaculate. We give major credit to the Chef for stricly using top tier ingredients (you can seriously tell) and arranging such an amazing menu. Literally everything in the photos were a 10/10 across the board. This place deserves a michelin star and I'm positive they can get one. I ate so much and had no bloating whatsoever, as a nutrtional and gut health researcher I know it's because of the high quality food they use. We sincerely thank everyone for such an wonderful experience.

My husband and I were able to have a quiet dinner, and a great time. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu. The drinks were balanced, and the food was really good. We order the poblano queso, ribeye to share, for dessert, the lemon torta cake. Everything was very well portioned.

Asador at the Renaissance Hotel was a great experience for a birthday dinner. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting. Our waiter, Carlos, was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and passionate about the restaurant's commitment to seasonal dishes and locally sourced ingredients. Speaking of the menu, it's a culinary adventure. The ever-changing selection ensures a fresh experience with every visit (And just LOOK at that plating in the picture). I ordered the mushroom tortellini and it was very rich and flavorful. Everything we tasted was bursting with flavor and you could tell the ingredients were top-notch. It's clear Asador puts a lot of care into every detail, from the service to the presentation. Highly recommend for a special occasion or just a delicious night out!

Food was delicious. Had the pork belly, chips and salsa, and a burger. Enjoyed each considerably. The bartender, Chris, was amazing and took good care. The breakfast was a buffet and quite good. It was a bit pricey, and I wouldn't call it a deal but to be expected for a hotel restaurant with high quality and service.

I'm not sure why this place is a 4.3, because the food here is unbelievably delicious!! This is the best queso, best pork belly, and best halibut we have ever had (the whole table agrees on this point). They match richness with acidity unlike any place I've ever been to. Food was so amazing, we will be returning within a couple of weeks with a bigger party. Carlos was fantastic!

Exceptional staff that treat you like you're the most important person in the room. The restaurant is beautiful with see in kitchen and everyone always looks happy cooking. Carlos sees us walking in, and he's immediately getting us seated and checking with us on how our day is going. We've had several items on the menu, and nothing we've had hasn't been phenomenal. Wings and tacos are perfect for a light meal, and be sure to ask for rum punch, which Rosie at the bar got me started on. Breakfast is amazing and leaves you plenty full. Management knows us since we've been here so often, and they take the time to check in with us. You won't be disappointed and they are open all day which is wonderful. A must try location.
Laurie G — Google review
Everything was amazing! The cocktails were very good. The service was impeccable! Matthew was our server. He was very knowledgeable about the entire menu from the cocktails to the dessert.
Edward P — Google review
To be honest, I thought I had booked at a different restaurant…. But here we were. Very nice open restaurant and stylish bar. Parking is limited at the hotel but they validate for parking. Drink service was initially slow but I warmed up to our waiter. Cocktails were good. Chips salsa is not free but a generous portion. Tomatillo salsa a tad salty but tasty nonetheless. Compressed watermelon salad was generous and delicious. Enough to share. So refreshing. Loved it. Lamb chops were tasty but the star on the plate was a small enchilada. Salmon entree also flavorful if somewhat crispy. Too full for dessert but a good experience overall. Biggest detractor is that it just feels like a forlorn hotel restaurant, not a destination in itself. Hopefully the clientele and reputation will follow.

Japanese restaurant
Tei-An, located in the Arts District of Dallas, is a sophisticated Japanese restaurant owned by chef Teiichi Sakurai. The restaurant offers an exquisite omakase experience, featuring a traditional Japanese-style tasting menu with a focus on seasonal ingredients. Diners can expect a variety of courses such as Alaskan king crab salad, sashimi from Japan, cooked fish and shellfish dishes, tempura, Wagyu beef from Miyazaki prefecture, and soba noodles followed by dessert.
We went to Tei-An for their pre-theatre omakase before heading to a concert. We were immediately taken to seats at the bar, as it better accommodated my spouse’s wheel chair. The staff are amazing, in particular Mike, who took very good care of us. Cocktails were delicious, I had the Yuzu Margarita while my wife had the Lychii Martini. The food was very good, with a great variety of different dishes, both hot and cold. I highly recommend Tei-An and we will be going back soon!

Wow, just wow. Everything was superb! The atmosphere is very elevated and serene without being too pretentious. The food is amazing - I highly recommend their soba dishes and their nigiri. David was my server and he was fantastic. His level of professionalism was tailored to each individual and he was perfect at spacing out my a la carte dishes with course -meal like timing. He kept refilling my water as needed, clearing plates only when necessary, and having the perfect amount of presence during the meal. The hostess was courteous and opened the door for me as I was leaving, which is a small gesture but really elevated the experience. The price is fair for the quality and level of service that you'll receive here. I am totally blown away by how wonderful of an experience I had here. As fellow industry though, I do have a few points that I noticed that could use some improvement. When asked about water, still or sparkling was only offered, both being paid purchases without the transparency. While the clientele is a more upscale crowd, it may be understandable, but having a non-paid option for water may be more respectful towards guests in my opinion. The cloth napkin was also cleared at the end during the dessert course which could have been left alone or even replaced. Otherwise, the entire meal was fabulous, and I will most definitely recommend and send people here without hesitation!! Thank you team for the wonderful experience.

My husband and I celebrated our 7th anniversary here, and it was truly one of the best meals of my life. The food was exceptional in its uniqueness, variety, and quality—absolutely flawless. The atmosphere was calm and intimate, and the service matched it perfectly. Do yourself a favor: make a reservation and experience this place.

Tei-An is a nice spot for a date night offering a quaint but classy experience. During our visit we opted for the classic omakase. This offered 7 courses including sashimi, tempura, A5 Wagyu, their signature soba, and a few other bites along the way. Overall it was an enjoyable evening but was slightly disappointed in their signature dish. We had a crab dashi hot soba and a brisket curry soba. While the curry had a nice flavor the brisket was over cooked and tough and in the other soba the crab dashi was rather flavorless. Also to note while interior is nice the entrance isn't very welcoming
Matt P — Google review
Came here cause I was craving authentic soba and Tei-an didn’t disappoint. Homemade soba noodles with a variety of dipping sauces, all of which were worth trying. The tempura side that came with it was excellent - prawns in a batter of potato chips, and sliced corn edges in a traditional batter. The cocktails were all very good and their selection of sakes quite impressive.
Saswat P — Google review
The food was great. I got some of the fresh fish sashimi, the kara age, and the curry soba and duck breast. I was expecting the kara age to be more exciting, it was good but I wasn’t really wowed. The curry was delicious and the homemade soba perfect, but the duck breast was a bit overcooked. I should have listened to the staff who get the duck meatballs.

Nestled in the vibrant Dallas Uptown area, Moxies Dallas Uptown Restaurant is a Canadian gem that combines a chic ambiance with an enticing menu of New American cuisine. With its inviting patio and stylish decor, it’s the perfect spot for those seeking a sophisticated dining experience without the noise of live music or crowded bars.
I had heard mixed reviews about Moxies but I still wanted to try it. I personally enjoyed the food and atmosphere. I was craving something heavier and decided to go with a chicken sandwich, and it was good! I was hesitant at first, but I’m glad I made that choice. The poutine was also pretty good. I will definitely be back to try other dishes. I did go on a friday evening around 5, and I was able to be seated immediately. As far as parking , I was able to get my ticket validated (parked in the garage).

I visited the Moxie's in Uptown Dallas for my last night in the city, and the vibe was definitely different from the one in Plano. This location has a more business-professional feel, with a crowd of real estate agents, nurses, and colleagues winding down after work for happy hour. It’s a great spot for locals and visitors alike. We had a group of six and were seated by the window entrance, just as people were starting to trickle in. At first, the service was fantastic—our server was attentive and quick to take drink orders. But within about 20 minutes, things started to slide. We hadn’t seen our server for a while, and our table was filled with dirty dishes. We also needed refills, and one of my friends was still waiting on his food to be corrected. We ordered a variety of dishes to share, including: Salmon salad Steak salad Caesar salad Beef tips French onion soup Brussels sprouts with tomatoes Everything was tasty, and the food was good overall, but the service was a letdown as things got busier. By the time we were ready to leave, the place was packed and getting quite loud. Overall, I’d say Moxie’s is a solid spot with great food, but the service definitely needs some consistency

The drinks were really good. Our food was good for the most part- we ordered crab dip (very good), ribs (very good), and Mediterranean chicken(the stuff under the chicken was good but the chicken itself wasn’t anything to rave about and skin wasn’t crispy as I’d expect). Service and the environment were great. It’s not too loud there!

I would 100% recommend to anyone looking for great food and a nice aesthetic/atmosphere! It was also nice that the manager came and made sure that we were satisfied and let us know he was here if we needed anything. Not to mention the food was exquisite! overall a 10/10 experience. Thankyou again Moxies, I will definitely be back .

I visited Moxies for the first time on a Saturday. The initial greeting from the staff was warm, friendly, and professional. The only issues that I had was our waitress had a large party seated in her section towards the end of our meal and she seemed a bit overwhelmed and it was difficult attracting her attention to pay our bill. A 20% gratuity was automatically added to our bill and we were only a party of two, which seemed unusual. The addition was also questionable considering the service was not consistent to the end of our dining experience. I ordered the Mahi Mahi which was well seasoned, but a bit overcooked.

Really enjoyed this restaurant! We had the deviled eggs and candied bacon for apps which were both delicious. Had the steak and chili potatoes for a main which were both very tasty too. The blackened shrimp were a bit too salty, but not enough to take a star away from the rest of the really well prepared meal.

In my mind I am blessing my brunch all over again! God knows that food and service was delicious. We had reservations for five at 11:15am, I can’t remember the young lady who waited on us BUT! She was simply amazing and even sang happy birthday to me… Keep shining over there, good food like this gets to the soul of man.

Will definitely return when back in the area. The food was absolutely delicious and my server was friendly and attentive. There was one small hiccup with my food order, a bun I ordered for my sandwich was not provided when the food arrived. When I mentioned it, a separate bun was brought out to replace the error. I was still charged an extra $2 for the bun, which i felt was a bit off. Had the smoked old fashioned which was great. I look forward to visiting again one day to sample some bourbon flights. This place was packed on a weekday, so I highly recommend a reservation. The whiskey cake was good, but in hindsight I wish I had eaten it at the restaurant and not ordered it to go. I think having it fresh, and the ingredients all together would have made for a better experience.

Arrived at 1:15pm and seated outside immediately. Was given a brunch menu so walked back to the front to get a lunch menu since wait staff was slow getting to table. Glasses and a bottle of cool water presented at table to share. Hanson could have used a lidded kids cup with straw, but he managed ok. Ordered chicken strips, Reuben, chili and a tavern burger. Chicken strips come out hot and crispy. Nice crunch. Fries are crispy outside and tender inside. Good seasoning. Well made Reuben sandwich with the bread presenting a perfect rye bite. Tavern burger was cooked a perfect medium as requested. Tender patty is not over compressed. Well made and flavorful burger. Have had the Whiskey cake dessert on a previous visit and it was delicious. Well known for their excellent liquor collection with a focus on whiskey. Full inventory book available on request. All whiskey served as 2oz pours.

I would specifically ask for him as a waiter every time I come back here.

Good seasonal food. Friendly server. Music was very loud. What the chefs did with the salmon was amazing(mildly spicy). And the pork chop melts in your mouth. House old fashion with single barrel whiskey tasted smooth. Great experience overall.

Came for a business lunch around 11:30 am and was seated with no issues. The waiter took a while to come back after we were talking business and weren’t ready to order. Seemed like they almost forgot about us for a while when ordering and paying. The food was delicious though, ordered the candied bacon for the appetizer. I got the fish and chips. I was not expecting a whole fish! It was very delicious though. I did substitute the French fries for the vegetables, which was a great choice. It had a sauce to it with a few chilis which gave it a nice kick. Overall the food & atmosphere was great, but was a bit disappointed in the service especially since we were on a limited timeline since it was a business lunch.

A Truly Memorable Dining Experience at Origin Kitchen and Bar I had the pleasure of dining at Origin Kitchen and Bar on the recommendation of my dear friend, Richard Roper, and I can say without hesitation—it was one of the best meals I’ve had in Dallas. From the moment we walked in, the service was impeccable. Armando, our server, went above and beyond—including having a special honey mustard made just for our table. That kind of attention to detail is rare and speaks volumes about the culture of hospitality here. What truly set the experience apart, though, was the personal attention from Chef Scott. Not only did he take the time to visit with us at our table, but he also came back to check on us multiple times throughout the meal. He shared his philosophy about expanding the boundaries of what healthy scratch food can be, and after tasting the dishes—it’s clear he's doing exactly that. The organic ingredients and overall quality of the food were outstanding. Every bite tasted fresh, clean, and carefully crafted. I requested several custom changes to my salad, and not only were they accepted without hesitation—I was even offered more customization options than I had imagined. That’s rare and speaks to a level of hospitality and culinary confidence that is truly special. It’s hard to find a place where the food feels authentic, deeply nourishing, and leaves you feeling like you just enjoyed a meal at home with a private chef—but that’s exactly the magic of Origin Kitchen and Bar. I can’t wait to return and try their breakfast next. If you’re in Dallas and value great food, warm service, and thoughtful innovation in the kitchen, this is a must-visit.

Staff is friendly and attentive. Menu is vast and I want to return to try more. I had the BYOBowl and it was delicious, but I made it rather pricey with add-ons. Oh well it was good. Had a Dirty Chai Latte that was a good chai flavor. And the did the chips and guac starter which was also really yummy.

Had an amazing experience here! My daughter has celiac so this place was a dream come true! She had so many things! Calamari, chicken tenders, mac and cheese, steak, orange chicken, cookies and cake! She was such a happy camper! The orange chicken was a bit too sweet and the mac and cheese maybe had a bit more grown up feel to it than she would’ve liked. But nothing that would stop us from coming back. The highlight for her was the steak and Italian wedding cake! I always love being able to find places that have such a great gluten free offering and are safe for celiacs. We’ll definitely be back!

We made a reservation for brunch and were greeted by a super amazing host/server. Food came out in a timely manner and was really good. Our server also gave us recommendations and cracked jokes with us! Overall a good place to enjoy a Sunday brunch!

I always feel at home at Origin Kitchen + Bar. Their seasonal, clean menu makes eating healthy feel indulgent—think grass-fed brisket tacos or paleo-friendly chilaquiles. The vibe is laid-back yet polished, and the staff is genuinely kind. Whether I’m brunching solo or catching up with friends, it’s my go-to spot for both comfort and quality.

Visiting from out of state. I had the chilaquiles with salmon. Was very happy to find gluten free food here in Dallas. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about gluten free and cross contamination. Will definitely come back in the future! Thank you Origin kitchen for a lovely experience.

TJ's Seafood Market & Grill Preston Royal is a family-run establishment that offers a wide variety of fresh and smoked seafood, as well as sandwiches and prepared dishes to take away. With daily deliveries of high-quality seafood from around the world, this market and restaurant has gained a reputation for serving some of the freshest catches in the city.
A favorite spot in Dallas. The food is always flavorful and next level. My favorite dish is the sea bass enchiladas, and also recommend the market catch. The staff is welcoming and kind. Solid wine selection. Some pics of Valentine’s Day dinner. Love to TJs.

I've been here many times with friends & family throughout the years. Slammed packed busy days to slow days. I always forgot to leave a review. For dine in, they have always been consistent across the board. The only little downside was tonight with a over cooked deep-fried hush-puppy (still delicious) and not having their Mac & cheese anymore (my daughter's favorite).
Yong K — Google review
This was our first time coming to this restaurant, and I have to say it was super cute! We started off with a bowl of clam chowder, and also the lobster dip, which was a suggestion from our server. Both were absolutely delicious! For our entrées, we got the Tuna poke bowl and the Fish tacos. Both were very fresh, delicious, and a good value for the price. They were a little short staffed today, but our server really took great care of us. We would definitely return
Ryan R — Google review
The staff and service was impeccable, however the ambiance was slightly detracted because of the slight smell of fish inside the restaurant. For this reason I opted for the patio, however the location is in a strip mall so it's not optimal. I had the market price lobster roll which is fairly big and I think decent value and quite tasty. There is some cleaning that needs to be done around the tables as there is some candy and wrappers under the table. A few little tweaks would bring the overall experience up a notch, but like I said the staff was on point and engaging while still professional and very fast.

Perfect!! Fantastic experience, great selection of oysters, really great bloody mary. Fish & Chips were awesome! Wait staff was attentive and knew the menu well! This will be one of my regular places!
Properly W — Google review
This place is really good, can’t wait to try other menu items. By far best dish is the fish and chips. I tried the hot lava shrimp stater it was very delicious. Spicy noodles very filling. I came back and I got the lobster roll, it’s not the best thing on the menu. Mashed potatoes were OK but they were warm not fresh in my opinion. The lemons they give you with the roll is great. Will be back Little pricey but food is worth most of the time. Molten lava cake was too sweet ice cream was good. Ice cold water refilled when needed by attentive servers.

Have been a customer since 2009, have had many different dishes, most very good and some just okay, but tonight I had the worst.. the lobster roll is imo a loss for me! The roll was nothing but a butter soaked mess, a mere 3 pieces of lobster meat, and cold chips 🤔 I could hardly wait for my wife to finish her meal so we could go and just get the plate out of my view… I should have taken the persons hint when I asked how hers was and she said just so so, and she was a regular as well, o well maybe the next visit will be better(it better be)! And I have noticed that the indoor volume level just keeps increasing, I just don’t understand why people have to yell at each other while dining, it makes my decision to visit an easy one over a more quiet respectful indoor environment!!!
Devil D — Google review
Came back again a few weeks after my first visit and really enjoyed it! The shrimp tacos are phenomenal. I enjoyed the Caesar salad with smoked salmon (salmon def the star of the dish) but my friend got the house salad and asked for both of the dressings (wasabi and champagne) and wow…amazing, i want to go back just for that! My first time here and can’t wait to go back! Really enjoyed my visit. They’ve been around for 34 years now and Jon the owner, told us all about what they’re doing to really revamp TJ’s and you can see it, feel it and taste it! They have a little market in the front for you to grab and go. They have fish/seafood deliveries daily! So the selection (and where it’s coming from) constantly changes. Everything was so fresh (never frozen) and perfectly cooked. You could taste how fresh everything was. The lobster in the lobster roll was just wow…no hiding cheap or frozen lobster there - lightly dressed in butter and it was all about the lobster (and a great bun from a local bakery). Got to try a little bit of everything (it was an invited dinner but you could tell from everything I heard and saw, that the quality is good consistently, not just this one time) and I am grateful for it! A few dishes I would’ve never thought to order on my own but thoroughly enjoyed and want to go back for again especially the sea bass enchiladas … wow, amazing. They have a handful of dishes that they’ve had around forever because their locals / consistent clientele come back again and again for certain things but they also refresh parts of the menu from time to time (which they just did) and I think they do a great job of keeping what’s popular while also bringing in some fresh new things. The smoked salmon Caesar salad was unbelievably good. If I lived around the corner I’d literally be there once a week just for that, right up my alley. I really enjoyed everything. The tacos were great, you can get them a few different ways (on corn, flour or lettuce wrap; fried or grilled). The dips (cold spread trio) were really delicious. Excellent shrimp cocktail and the coconut shrimp was good but I could’ve used more coconut (and bigger shreds of it…tasted more like fried shrimp than coconut shrimp). The bacon aioli sauce for the hush puppies was awesome. The salmon over creamed corn and broccolini was really nice. The whole menu sounds amazing, and great to have an excellent option for seafood in an area that’s predominantly bbq and meat focused. Desserts were also really nice, made in house there. The key lime cheesecake was my favorite. The chocolate pie was great. The bananas foster was their own spin with angel food cake I think? A nice lighter option for dessert. But the cheesecake won out for sure. Highly recommend!

Restaurant
José is an upscale Mexican restaurant located on the edge of Bluffview, offering a sophisticated dining experience with a focus on Jalisco-style dishes and seafood. The spacious and chic ambiance, complete with a tile-lined bar and black-and-white tile wall mural, sets the stage for enjoying top-shelf margaritas and indulging in dishes like crab sopesitos and braised short rib enchiladas in guajillo sauce.
This feels like a Mexico City restaurant with the the design and colors and patio like dining. Open and airy with a large fountain. The chef has been featured in food channels. Excellent Mexican food. Light sauces not heavy and flavorful. Went back again last night and had the salmon y avocado. A delightful take on salmon (cooked and chopped and spread across sliced avocado)) with a light sauce on the plate.

Elevated Mexican food that was pretty solid. They provide chips and salsa, but it seemed like the chips were ones that I could buy from the grocery store for $2. I had a frozen hibiscus drink that was delicious and the Tacos Carbon were also pretty good. They have a super nice patio that was heated which was well needed on a cold day. There is also complimentary valet.
Hannah — Google review
Would give five stars if there were more veg options! But what they have is so good. Get the mushroom tacos if you’re vegetarian. Seriously so good! The atmosphere is a total vibe though. Like if you want to come relax at a restaurant that is vibey and chill, with a good bar too, this is a good place.
Jess — Google review
If you’re looking for a spot where your margarita gets almost as much attention as your entrée, Jose is a solid pick. The food is good — not great — but the handmade corn tortillas are legit (better than most in the U.S., though still a step below the real thing in Mexico). Brunch is lively, the vibe’s upbeat, and the bar has a pretty good tequila and mezcal lineup — enough to keep things interesting without being pretentious. It’s on the pricier side, around $30–$40 per person, and yes… they do the mandatory valet thing (cue eye roll). Still, for a fun meal with friends or a weekend brunch with a buzz, Jose earns its spot on the rotation — just manage your expectations and your parking frustration

This is a nice and trendy looking place. I had the coconut ceviche made with redfish - it was delicious and beautiful, served in a half coconut. I also had the carrot habanero soup - y’all don’t sleep on that soup - it tastes amazing! The regular ceviche had a great flavor too. Our server was nice and personable. Can’t wait to come back for the ceviche and soup…but I also want to try more things. Highly recommend!

El Vecino Tex Mex is a vibrant spot in Lake Highlands known for serving Tex-Mex greatest hits along with margaritas and cerveza. The menu features delicious dishes like huevos rancheros, steak fajitas, chilaquiles, and the popular Omelete de Enchilada, which is a three-egg omelet wrapped around a beef, cheese or chicken enchilada topped with tomatillo sauce, chili con carne or chili con queso.
El Vecino has been a staple in this neighborhood for many years! I moved away from the neighborhood, but came back and thought I would hop in for a new experience of the place. The restaurant seems tucked away, but once you enter through the front door, you realize how lively it can be! I was seated very quickly despite it being busy and I met Yaz, an older gentleman, and a server that was very friendly and inviting. Despite it being just me, they gave me a booth of my preference. I’m usually pretty quick to order because I know what I want and I got the Big Johns Platter (See Photo). I got chips almost immediately. My food came out so soon after that I was surprised. The enchiladas were probably the highlight, although I do like my cheese enchiladas pretty cheesy and it had a long string of cheese when I ate a bite, which was amazing. The beans and rice were very good. The atmosphere was lively yet slightly dim, and although I don’t drink, I heard that their margaritas were fantastic. I will definitely be back and recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable tasty place to relax with friends.

That was a very fun outing! I had never heard of this restaurant before, but it was a happening place! Great margaritas, of course! I got the Carne Asada y mole enchilada. The other dishes were Conchinita Pibil then enchiladas. Finished with coconut 🥥 flan! It was really delicious!! I'd do that again! Definitely going back!
Mark A — Google review
Competent. Not great but ok. Popular neighborhood restaurant but not worth driving out of your way to get there. The chips were cooked in old oil at too low a temperature for too long resulting in greasy off tasting chips. Salsas we're a bit different with a heavy vinegar taste. Taco was tasteless. Enchiladas were competent. The service was ok but no one had a smile, it was just a job. The one redeeming quality was the interior decor with it's Mexican-funky vibe. After weighing it all; We will not returning.

We found El Vecino by accident after driving past another place that only had valet. I’m so glad we did! This place was amazing! Our waiter Raul gave us the best service ever. He was friendly, fast, and made sure we had everything we needed. If you go, ask for Raul—you won’t regret it! We had brunch and ordered the egg enchilada, queso, and chicken fajitas—everything was so good! We also tried the loaded queso and margarita swirls… wow! The owner even came by to say hi and talk with us. That made it even more special. El Vecino is a great place with amazing food and awesome people. We’ll definitely be back! Ashly and Larry

Went to El Vecino for the first time. Inside it has an inviting atmosphere. I was greeted immediately by staff. I placed my orders and service is very fast. Staff (Rambo) is very attentive. The food is great specially the sour cream chicken enchilada. I also ordered the prickly pear margarita and asked tajin around the glass, and it’s so good. Love it. Will come back again and bring my friends and coworkers.

The new American restaurant Bellagreen is known for its delicious tomato soup and delicious chicken and waffles.
This is by far the best dining experience I have had in years. Every single employee was friendly and helpful. The food was exceptional and delivered to our table quickly. I am so grateful for such a wonderful experience when it came to the allergies we requested accommodation for, I have never had a restaurant treat it as if I had made a reasonable, mundane request. Thank you not only for the perfect food and wonderful dining experience but for creating an environment where I could just be "normal" when ordering food. Not pictured: The delicious carrot cake that was gone before we could think to snap a picture.

Food was really good. The honey fried goat cheese salad was so good. I added salmon and it was slightly overcooked but it still has good flavor. I'm pretty sure it was just the piece I had because the nice man who took my order asked how I wanted it cooked. It was well done and not medium. I would assume they usually get it right. Everything was very good

Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or sitting down for a leisurely meal, Mendocino Farms delivers on both flavor and experience. Highly recommended!

I love this place! The food is so fresh, the people are so friendly, and thevibes are chill. We have been here twice and both times I had the Thai mango salad. The flavor combinations are amazing! The flavors just burst in your mouth! My husband loved the Chimichurri steak & bacon sandwich. He said it was a very interesting combination of sweet and savory and the steak is very tender. We also tried the Thai sweet potato soup which was again very flavorful. The atmosphere is so cute and very chill. The bench seats have plugs if you are having a working lunch. I stopped by recently and tried the Baja Green Goddess salad and it was absolutely incredible. Everything tasted so fresh, and you can tell they use high-quality, seasonal ingredients. The food was delicious and the ingredients were high quality. I had the chicken pesto sandwich and the spicy curried couscous. The sandwich had good flavor and the chicken was good quality. I wished it was warm bc it’s a panini press but it was cold. The couscous is a great recipe, a bit spicy. The staff was very friendly as well. Sure it’s a bit pricey but the food was good. Spent $18 for a full sandwich, chips, and a large side. Didn’t love the atmosphere. Lots of sunlight which is nice and the temperature was good but it feels a bit corporate and the seating was uncomfortable. Like it’s designed for people to eat quickly and leave. The music was a weird blend of country and indie. I didn’t like the southern or “conservative” vibes as much. I might order takeout in the future but not somewhere I’d like to eat in again.
Munchkin — Google review
Two years ago I would’ve whole-heartedly recommended this location. Since then, they’ve slowly shrunk the portions, no longer include a side with your sandwich, and cut costs on ingredients. Lowering the quality of the experience to maintain profitability is the oldest death sentence in the service industry. Today might be the final nail in the coffin for me. I ordered my usual sandwich and a side of curry couscous, which I have been paying extra for since they stopped including it. The container for it, which is normally filled to the top, was filled half way… and when I took a bite, it tasted *rancid*- like it’s been sitting unrefrigerated for too long and started fermenting. Horrible experience. Two stars because the sandwich was still good- it used to be filled much more though. If management doesn’t double down on quality, I don’t see this location staying open much longer. Classic restaurant death spiral: avoid increasing prices so you lower the quality to increase profitability, get customers used to your lower quality and you can’t justify a price increase. Eventually you can’t get out of it without taking on a significant loss. UPDATE: Since Mendocino responded to this pretty quickly, I want to make it clear that I will not be emailing them. I’m not looking for discounts or free anything. If they want to document the incident they have all the relevant info in the review. The only thing I want is for the restaurants that I visit to pay at least as much attention to food quality and food safety as they do to their online reviews.

This spot has great food ✅ and great service ✅ with a cool vibe ✅! If you're looking for some delicious thai food then you should definitely give this spot a try. While the portions are a bit smaller then you might expect, the flavour is still there 🤤. We had the Curry Laksa Soup and the Thai noodles with duck, which were both really tasty. Honestly.. we should have ordered more food because it was ao good (but had a plane to catch). Anyway, hope you give this place a try and enjoy 🙂

Amazing food that comes out quickly. The soups dumplings are very delicious, the lorean fried wings are amazing. The curry duck noodles were great, very tender duck, and a gravy like curry. Though there weren't as many vegetables as I hoped. The bibimbap was very flavorful. Gorgeous interior. Came in late on a Saturday night and were immediately seated. But it was very loud.

A fantastic Asian fusion restaurant with a warm, localized vibe that truly immerses you in the culture. The dishes were flavorful and authentic—Roti Canai was crispy, flakey, and paired perfectly with the curry sauce. The Char Kway Teow was packed with wok hei and bold flavors, while the soup dumplings were juicy and satisfying. The Hong Kong-style Wonton Noodle Soup was also a comforting and flavorful option. Today I visited Hardwood location & it was the best customer service I have received in a while. I work in the food industry & I pay attention to everything. Cat was the manager on duty today & handled the lunch rush with complete poise. The team was working together so well, communicating, assisting customers & did all of it with a smile on their face, which I know can be difficult during rush. They didn’t break a sweat & were extremely kind. This will always be the location I will go to moving forward! Great work, ladies. 🩷

Exciting to have so many ingredients for a good salad. I had a wrap and it was amazing. My daughter had a salad and it was amazing. The sweet potato chips were delicious.

This review is tough the salad was great, but the atmosphere was terrible first you should never have molded cheese on the line and I understand it's a lunch rush relax let the customer look what they want on there salad there was three customers in front of me and I had to be on there back to see what I wanted and lastly most salad places mix ingredients not throw them on top. This store definitely needs more guidance especially being in downtown Dallas.

Not typically a 'salad' person but went at the recommendation from the office I was visiting. Have to say pleasantly surprised, was actually pretty good and filling. Busy place with what I assume are regulars in a hurry. I was the slow poke holding up the "snappy" flow but plenty of patience and got me taken care of. Will definitely add to the lunch rotations.

Here at this snappy salads I have ALWAYS received excellent service from all the employees. Everyone is very friendly and professional. Establishment is always so clean and organized. Gets really busy during lunch hours but the staff manages everything so well that you’re never stuck waiting for too long. The manager Paty is such a sweet person she manages her staff and restaurant very well it is obvious. I’ve been coming to this location for many years and will continue to do so! 5 stars all around. Will always recommend to anyone.

This was an exceptional dining experience. Robert was our server and was great. The food was amazing. I highly recommend the Pork Chop. Enjoyed a drink and the ice cube was inscribed with their logo. Nice touch. Very clean bathrooms. Overall excellent.

Update: They restaurant reached out to me this morning and we had a great conversation. I'll be going to give them a try sometime in the near future and I have positive hopes that I'll have a better experience. I'll be sure to change my review to reflect how it goes. I'm honestly impressed with their customer service and follow-up. You rarely ever see any enterprise/company do that now. Went to the restaurant and definitely had a better experience the second time there. Also tried a whole different dish. Their barbecued ribs are absolutely phenomenal by the way. 10/10 recommend. Unfortunately, I did not like the coca-cola they served. I guess their carbonation machine was not working and that caused the problem. They tried numerous times to fix it with no avail. But I admire their customer service.

We were visiting Dallas from out of town and had a great experience here. The restaurant had a great inviting atmosphere, staff took great care of us. We loved everything we ordered. The stand out to me was the wedge salad with steak. I wish I could order it again, the steak was perfect and the dressing was perfect balance without too overwhelming Bleu cheese. Give this place a try for sure.

We tried this place recently for lunch and had a good experience. We parked in a garage that has an elevator that opens into the restaurant. They validate the parking, but even after following the steps, we still had to push the button for the operator to let us out. The place is massive. They have several seating areas as well as seating at the spacious bar. We started with the chips and queso. The queso was delicious. My wife ordered the chicken fried chicken and I ordered the Western burger. Both had great flavor. The portion sizes matched the price. The breading on the chicken fried chicken came off as my wife cut it, but it still was good. Our service was great. We will definitely be back.

Haywire in Dallas is what happens when Texas pride, luxury, and a perfectly cooked steak have a glorious love child. The Cowboy–Cowgirl theme had me ready to saddle up and tip my nonexistent hat to every server that walked by—this place owns its vibe in the best way possible. The décor was so stunning I half-expected Clint Eastwood to stroll through the bar just to say “nice place, partner.” I didn’t have any drinks (I'm sober, thank you kindly), but who needs booze when the food makes you feel like you just won the state fair and found gold in the same day? My GF had one drink and fell in love. From the first bite to the last, every dish screamed “YEE-HAW” in five-star flavor. Beautiful establishment, unforgettable experience—Haywire didn’t just serve lunch; it served a whole mood.

We revisited yet again for happy hour! The pork belly bites were absolutely a hit, as are the sliders! Oh the one thing you must try is the whiskey bread pudding! It is the best I've ever had! We returned for happy hour! Oh my! A great experience again! The frozen long island teas were 👌. The service was amazing again! I love haywire! Thank you! "Written by the Seasons" is a charming restaurant with a beautiful ambiance and attentive staff. The open windows create an inviting atmosphere, and the menu offers a variety of options including gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian dishes. Customers have raved about the incredible flavors in the summer menu, with highlights such as smoked pecans and perfectly cooked scallops. The restaurant also offers great happy hour deals on appetizers like charcuterie boards and fritters.
Highly recommended to me and it didn’t disappoint. Kris knows a lot about wine and the dishes. She was fun and attentive to details. The ambiance is very pretty with romantic, covered outdoor seating and open air areas as well as indoor seating. My dishes were complex and flavorful. They accommodated gluten and dairy allergies well. Noting it when serving the dish which is always appreciated for extra confirmation. There was a nice hum of chatter in the restaurant. I snagged a photo of the customized espresso martini of the person seated beside me. Noting that Kris was detailed, skilled, and attentive to what the individual was requesting. Curating her own espresso martini. Thank you for a great experience!

My husband and I visited Written by the Seasons in Bishop Arts for his birthday, and it was such a wonderful experience. The food was incredibly fresh—you can really taste the quality in every dish. We started with the charcuterie tray because we wanted something light, and it was the perfect way to begin. My husband ordered the pork chop and I had the halibut chowder—both were amazing. Then we finished with dessert: the chocolate cookie and the vanilla cashew crème. I have to say, as someone with a serious sweet tooth, the desserts were probably my favorite part of the meal. What made our evening truly special was our waitress, Elizabeth. She was absolutely amazing. So attentive, so knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely sweet. She took the time to explain dishes, made great recommendations, and really made my husband feel celebrated on his birthday. You can tell she loves what she does, and that kind of service makes all the difference. The whole atmosphere felt welcoming and comfortable. This is the kind of place where you feel taken care of, from the food to the service. We left happy and full, already talking about when we could come back. If you’re looking for a great meal in Bishop Arts with service that goes above and beyond, I highly recommend Written by the Seasons. And if Elizabeth is your server, you’re in for a real treat.

Written by the Seasons ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️½ (4.5/5) We walked in on a whim without reservations and were pleasantly surprised. The hostess was warm and accommodating—letting us know we could be seated inside as long as we finished before 6:30. Since it was just after 5, we happily accepted and settled in. From the start, the experience was excellent. Our waitress was prompt, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the Summer 2025 menu. Even the table water was rosemary-infused—a subtle but lovely touch that set the tone for what was to come. Starters & Small Plates: • Simple Salad – Light, fresh, and dressed with a clean lemon-olive oil blend. A perfect beginning. (gf, vg) • Boquerones – These Spanish white anchovies were bursting with flavor, paired with herbs, lemon, and olive oil. (gf) • Hamachi Crudo – Served with Fresno chilis, mango, and a smoked ponzu broth. The hamachi was delicate, and the broth tied it together beautifully. (gf) • Grilled Shrimp – This cold dish was a surprise favorite. The shrimp came with mango, avocado, Fresno chili, and a citrus-coconut vinaigrette. Incredibly refreshing and vibrant. (gf) Entrée: • Grilled Salmon – A standout dish. Served with lentils, fennel, cucumber, and beets, all brought together with a horseradish vinaigrette. The flavors were bold yet balanced, and the texture of the lentils was spot-on. (gf) Dessert: • Pistachio Pavlova – This was an absolute highlight. The pavlova was crisp on the outside and airy inside, served with fruit, and a rich caramelized white chocolate cremèaux. A brilliant balance of tart, sweet, and nutty. (gf) Service: The staff was on point throughout the meal. Drinks were refilled promptly, and tableware was replaced quickly and discreetly. Everyone we interacted with was courteous and professional. Final Thoughts: I left feeling full but not weighed down—a sign of thoughtful, ingredient-driven cooking. This was a refreshing, satisfying experience. The space, the service, and above all, the food, work in harmony here. I will absolutely return. Rating: 4.5 out of 5 stars Highly recommended for anyone looking for seasonal, refined, and creative cuisine in Dallas.

Wow!!! First time here and already planning my next visit. The food was absolutely phenomenal—so fresh and cooked to perfection. Our server, JoJo, was amazing—friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. The vibe? Immaculate. It struck the perfect balance between cute and upscale, without feeling too formal. Bonus: it’s a great spot for people watching. Everything was just perfect!

The restaurant had a wonderful ambiance. Great location in Bishop Arts District. The food was very good. We had the scallops, which was delicious. The steak was very well cooked. The haddock was very crisp and tasty. The duck confit was good but the side that came with it didn't pair well. Our only real complaint was service. The server really did not check on us enough and they missed one of our ordered appetizers.

Reserved a nice anniversary dinner here with my partner. The place has a beautiful atmosphere from the outside in. We received a lovely greeting and was sat right away. Was brought a nice little anniversary card and an even better greeting by our server, Jojo. Jojo was so friendly the entire time. Very engaging and gave us great suggestions and service. Everything we ordered was delicious including the amazing drinks. All the food was the most fresh items I have ever tasted. I think we ordered too much because I left completely full but I couldn’t stop trying everything. I truly enjoyed my time there and I can’t wait to go back. Thank you so much jojo and Written by the seasons for a special dinner!

Local Sourdough was very good.. My only gripe with it is that it was cold.. Never been served cold bread like that so that was a miss unfortunately. The Grilled Shrimp and Avocado was good. The fresh produce/fruits made the salad what it was.. They have a coconut type of dressing which is good.. Couple months back they had a tom khai type salad dressing which was phenomenal.. I hope they bring that back.. Also got the Wild Mushrooms and those were good. We got the Duck Confit as well and it was alright. I was expecting a more authentic red curry.. Duck portions were good though. Service was alright. Our waiter seemed to be giving more attention to the solo female diner more than us and as a result, neglected us

I came here recently for a dinner on a week night and left pretty satisfied with the overall experience. The place is spacious and had a good vibe to it where I felt at ease for a nice sit down meal. The service was also above average with the waitstaff being very courteous. The food was also pretty good. I ordered the ribs which was not at all on par with local smokehouse offerings but had good flavor. Their dessert was also good. Ice cream was unique and full of oreos, whereas the cake was one of the better cakes I've had in a while. I certainly wouldn't mind recommending this place for anyone looking for an overall great dining experience.

Googled this place for a dinner idea. I love Brussels which caught my eye, and my partner loves ribs, so it was a win. Food was incredible, everything we had Brussels sprouts for an app, he had Danish Pork Ribs with Caesar salad. I had the #6 chicken sandwich with jalapeño potatoes. Probably one of the best meals I’ve had in a while in Dallas. Staff was super friendly, I assume both Managers were extremely friendly, and engaging. Chef was very thankful for food reviews even offered something to go, which I already was taking Key lime pie home. To finish it off Janea was our server and very attentive, fun, and friendly. Will definitely be back, and I encourage others to check out this gem in uptown. Great patio as well! YUM!!

Clean vibe. Classy touch. The menu don’t miss but it don’t scream bold either. Solid if you want to play it safe with flavor, but it ain’t the spot for adventurous palettes. Great for dates, chill energy, and it’s definitely presentation over punch. Stamped, but not the spice king. You’ll leave satisfied not speechless. 🔥 Louie K’s Up Approved for chill eats and clean cuts.

What a beautiful September evening with zero humidity and nice breeze. We entered the restaurant with a nice greeting and decided to eat on the patio. The host told us who our server would be (west Texas young lady. Tiki). Different server came over to tell us he would be helping our server and ask us if he could take our drink order. My wife ordered the 4 side plate with artichoke and I decided on Danish Ribs. Yummy dinner. Manager came to our table to introduce herself and thank us for our visit. Upon leaving the hostess thank us and said have a good evening. I give a 100% for perfection.

Unleavened Fresh Kitchen is a casual neighborhood cafe with a patio that offers health-conscious wraps and salads. It's a great spot for those looking for gluten-free options, as most of the menu can be prepared without gluten. The menu features a variety of salads, wraps, and bowls with optional proteins like grilled chicken, steak, or salmon. The cafe also has a fabulous children's menu and offers free meals for kids after 4 p.m.
Today was my first visit to 'Unleavened ' and I can't wait to go back. The 1st thing I noticed upon walking in was how clean the restaurant is, the floors, tables etc. Food is ordered at the counter. The idea of 'Unleavened' is that there is no yeast in the products. The food is absolutely delicious and very healthy. The portions are generous and worth every penny. The best part was Mo ... he greeted us right after we walked up to the counter and with a great smile on his face, answered all of our questions. I have included photos that will speak better than I do. You really will enjoy your visit here. Thanks Mo for your excellent customer service. #healthy

Me and my partner got wraps, I got the tuna and he got some kind of chicken wrap and they were delicious. Also got the fruit as a side, it was mostly pineapple but I’m okay with that. Got the eggplant dip and it was terrible. Was bitter and oddly flavored, I’m a fan of traditional baba ganoush and have had a variety of dips from other restaurants but I would definitely not get this one again.

The place is huge and in two stories. They have beautiful terrace as well. Service is nice. Menu isn’t that large but anyone can find something that they like. Focus is mainly on sushi and sashimi. The main courses are steaks and fish. And 2 different pastas. Vibe is good. The only throw back for me , steak was a little too salty for us. Still we will go back.

This was our first time at The Catch for their Sunday Brunch Buffet, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. We were impressed by the elegant décor and thoughtful space arrangement, which created a welcoming and stylish atmosphere. The upstairs bar area served as a great waiting spot—comfortable, lively, and ideal for mingling before being seated. Once our group arrived, we were promptly escorted to our table and warmly welcomed by our server, who provided excellent service throughout our meal. While the buffet selection was more limited than we had anticipated and didn’t fully reflect what was advertised, certain highlights stood out. We especially enjoyed the oysters and the accompanying sauces. The caviar cart added a touch of excitement, though the quality of the caviar was not as high as expected. On the bright side, the wine selection was excellent and added a nice touch to the brunch experience. In summary, it was a good outing with standout service and ambiance, though we would appreciate a more robust buffet selection to feel more inclined to return.

We had a fantastic experience at Catch Las Vegas, so I was eagerly anticipating the Dallas location. The ambiance and patio were simply captivating, and the drinks were excellent. We indulged in a delightful spread of dishes, including crispy cauliflower, bluefin Toro, truffle mushroom spaghetti, and Seabass. The highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the crispy cauliflower and bluefin Otoro, which were simply outstanding. To end our meal on a sweet note, we savored the hit me chocolate cake. Overall a wonderful time with friends!!!!!

Catch Dallas – A Top-Notch Date Night Spot We went to Catch Dallas for a Saturday night date, and from start to finish, it was an incredible experience. We valet parked with no issues, and as soon as we stepped inside, we were impressed by the beautiful ambiance and lively vibe. Our waiter was knowledgeable and made excellent recommendations. We ordered a variety of dishes—mostly sushi—and every single one was flawless. Honestly, it was some of the best sushi I’ve had this year. The fried rice was packed with flavor, and the sushi pizza and calamari were both hits. We tried several dishes, and each one was a 10/10—no complaints at all. The drinks were also well-crafted and matched the upscale vibe of the restaurant. The bar was nice, and the second floor is absolutely beautiful. I’ve heard great things about their Sunday brunch, so I’m already thinking about going back to try it. The only downside for me was the bathroom—it’s quite small and a bit too dark for my taste. But that’s a minor detail and wouldn’t stop me from recommending this place. Overall, Catch Dallas delivered an amazing experience. Highly recommend for a date night or special evening out.

Visited this location during the week on a Wednesday. The restaurant was moderately busy, lots of business dinner, but there were plenty of tables for walk ins. The restaurant is very nice upscale ambiance, low lighting. All of the dishes ordered were delicious and cooked to perfection. Very seafood focused menu, but trust me, they can cook a steak! Crispy tuna rice bites stood out to me. Great spot! I look forward to visiting again.

Cat’s Restaurant in Dallas definitely nails the ambiance—dim lighting, elegant decor, and an overall cozy yet classy vibe that makes it perfect for date nights or special occasions like anniversaries. It’s a spot that feels intimate and thoughtfully designed. As for the food, everything was pretty good. I especially liked the sushi pizza and the pasta—they were creative and enjoyable. But when comparing the price to the flavor, I felt it didn’t quite deliver the “wow” factor that would justify the higher cost. It wasn’t bad by any means, just not exceptional for what you pay. That said, if you’re going for the full experience—atmosphere, presentation, and a romantic setting—it’s still very much worth a visit. A solid 4 out of 5, and definitely a place I’d recommend for couples to try at least once.

Came to Catch for our anniversary. We were very impressed from start to finish. Vanessa was our wonderful waitress and she was probably top 3 best server either of us ever had. We cannot speak highly enough about how great she was from her cheerful and personable personality to her honest and on-point recommendations. She was top tier. The food was also amazing. We had the Surf and Turf Roll, the Catch Roll and Crispy shrimp for appetizers. All very tasty and delicious. For the entree we shared the Herb roasted Branzino and the Spicy Gigli pasta followed by the Hit Me chocolate cake for dessert. For drinks we recommend the Smoked Cadillac, Watermelon Smash and the Expresso Martini. Every single thing we order was prepared to perfection. Not one complaint. The wait staff was very attentive and helpful. This has become my top favorite restaurant in the city. Thank you for an excellent experience.

My friend and I have been wanting to come here for a while so we booked reservations for 745PM. Upon arrival, they were PACKED. The bar was full as well as the dining area. We waited at the bar (and had a drink) while we waited for our table to be ready. We FINALLY were seated at 820PM and ordered around 830PM. The customer service (waiter) was a bit scattered but we were able to get everything we wanted ordered. For starters, we ordered the Wagyu Gyoza and we really liked these - although we were starving from the long wait. The next item to come out was the Truffle Sashimi and Madai Crudo. We thoroughly enjoyed the Truffle Sashimi and even dipped our Crudo in the sauce! Would definitely recommend the Sashimi. Thereafter, we were just waiting and waiting for our rolls and nigiri. As we looked around, no one was eating but drinking and drinking. The food service was terribly slow. Around 25-30 mins later, our Catch Roll, Hellfire Roll, and Otoro and King Salmon Belly nigiri arrived. The nigiri was very fresh and tasty and we enjoyed the Catch Roll. The Hellfire Roll was ok - definitely not a favorite. Since we had a reservation for cocktails after, we had to high tail it out of there! Overall, the food was good but the timeliness and service can be improved so much especially for what you’re paying. I guess as long as the aesthetic fit, no one cares. Try it for yourself - the food won’t disappoint!

Midway through my martini, they brought a fresh, cold glass. 10/10 experience, great for any occasion.

The food is phenomenal. I came back to try the crab cakes, and I must say the crab cake is an A++. On my first visit, I had the Ahi Tuna Frites, and the tuna was as fresh as you would get in Hawaii, and the sauce was fantastic. The frys were equally as good. I had the Poloma cocktail that was refreshing and made with fresh grapefruit juice. That said, I'm not sure it was worth $17. Service at lunch was great. The two female bartenders working the bar were very friendly and competent. However, in the evenings, the service at the bar didn't match the quality of the food. Management should look at the bar service at their sister restaurant il Bracco or the Mercury and DL Macks as a reference for what good bar service is.

All of the food was really good but sadly the service was pretty horrible. Reservation was for 7:45 and we didn’t get seated until 8:30. Ordered the biscuits for our appetizer, which were delicious, but we didn’t finish them and were intending on taking them home, but they were taken off our table before we could say anything. The service with our server was also pretty slow, and it felt like we had to wait forever to even get water. At the end of the night, we find out that our card was actually used for a different table so our charge was much higher than our actually was. The manager come over and says it’s fixed so whatever, but it kind of bothered me we didn’t hear from our server about what happened at all. The reason they still get 3 stars is because they really did try to make it up to us, they ended up providing us 3 free drinks and dessert. For that, we were really thankful, but the experience just continued to feel like error after error.

The food here is phenomenal! My date and I shared the tuna tartare as an appetizer and both agreed it was unique in a good way. I had the filet and potato puree for my entree. The filet was massive and prepared a perfect medium rare. The potatoes were delicious. I'll note that we had a 7:15 dinner reservation and weren't sat until 7:30. It was very busy. There wasn't a lot of great space to sit/stand while waiting to be seated (there's 1 small bench). The bar area was completely full and it was very loud. Once seated on the dining side it was quieter, but still not a quiet atmosphere. Even with the noise, the space was lovely, server was attentive (Fabiano was great), and the food was definitely worth the visit.
Becca M — Google review
Chic “neighborhood friendly” spot. Food was good and visually well presented - but not on par with the price point. Consistent service, but unusual as multiple team members approach the table throughout the meal.
Amanda — Google review
Excellent service, settings, food, and drinks. All around great. Favs: Oysters, Tuna frites, Crab cake, meatloaf, and the ribeye is always cooked perfectly.
Emanuel S — Google review
A super fun place to go with friends, family, or on a date. The crab cake is to die for! It’s such a creative, elevated menu. The service is great, the bartenders are super personable. Love the interior design, love the food, love the drinks- nothing not to love!! Best part is when you order a martini, they change out the glass halfway through for a freezing glass to refresh it.

Mirador is a sophisticated eatery located in downtown Dallas, inside Forty Five Ten. The restaurant offers a polished dining experience with a menu that features salads, sandwiches, and upscale entrees. One of the highlights is their tea service in the penthouse, offering modern and unique bites paired with tea. The seasonal menu includes options for kids' tea as well. With sweeping views of downtown Dallas and floor-to-ceiling windows, Mirador provides an upscale dining experience in a picturesque setting.
Beautiful! The afternoon tea was one of the best that I have had in Dallas - the atmosphere of the restaurant itself is just lovely but the staff is also just the best. We had an amazing time and every course was delicious and flavorful. I was amazed by the presentation and work put into the dishes. The tea pairings were literally perfect and I had an overall wonderful time. I will be back forsure to try out other menus. I loved my experience.

10/10 spot. Our server Rudy was absolutely amazing! Taylor was helping and was also lovely. The food was great and they were so kind as to make sure we were okay throughout our time at the restaurant. Our cups stayed full and the quality of the food was top tier. You absolutely have to get the bread and ham and try the caviar donuts.

Phenomenonal experience from beginning to end!! Everyone we encountered was friendly and went out of their way to make us feel special. We had reservations for tea. The food was exquisite!! Each bite had a beautiful balance of flavor and finesse. Truly exceptional!! This is by far the best tea service I've experienced in Dallas!

Mirador was a beautiful place, with each and every part of the experience being amazing! From the entrance and the warm welcome, to the food being spectacular, flawless! We even got to meet Chef Travis, and he told us about his journey through his cooking experience. We indulged in devils eggs, whipped ricotta (out of the world) and drinks were again a unique flavourful, delectable mocktails. Breakfast sandwich was a tad bland for us but the potatoes on side were heavenly.

It's a light but vibrant brunch location. The restaurant is not too big but space is open and gives a rosy, sophisticated vibe. Defiantly a girly brunch to-go location. Service was outstanding. There is not a big variety of dishes on the menu, but the things I tried I enjoyed. I really liked the herbs and spices used. Absolutely enjoyed the "Gravlax" we ordered.

Loved this place! My sister and I went for brunch and sat out on the patio with a clear view of the Dallas Giant Eyeball. Love that vibe of the place is sophisticated but the staff isn't stuffy.

Not only is everyone who works there kind, and the restaurant design impeccable, but the food is wonderful! Had fantastic deviled eggs and crudo to start and then the best lobster Cobb salad and the fries and tomato side were wonderful. My dear friend loved her Waygu sandwich as well. This is a gem for lunch in downtown Dallas!

This was a very elegant rooftop bar. It’s located on the top floor of what looks like a high-end boutique. Go in the boutique and up the elevator. We got two drinks - the high fashioned and Berry elixir. They were decent but not the best. Service was good, they were about to close for the day so we weren’t there long.

Seafood restaurant
Green Point Seafood and Oyster Bar is a lively addition to Knox Street, offering a diverse seafood menu with a focus on oysters and fresh fish dishes. While some find the offerings to be good but not exceptional, the atmosphere exudes a modern twist on the classic oyster bar, drawing in a bustling crowd. The service is still fine-tuning, but generally attentive.
Came here with my book club. We were a party of 7 and dined family style. We were at circle booth which made it really easy to share. Daniel was our server. He was great and made good selections. 5 of us shared a couple bottles of wine. I was quite pleased with the selection—felt like any budget and palette could be satisfied. We had a lot of items since there were 7 of us and we dined family style: hamachi, crab dip, mussels, the Perla platter, oysters, fried lobster, lobster roll, and tuna tartare. We seriously ate every last bite. Everything was so so good. For dessert , we shared banana pudding and the lemon bar (which was like a lemon version of key lime pie). Yummy. This was my third time eating here, and I’ve been happy every single time. One of my fave restaurants.
Kimberly K — Google review
Ambiance: 5/5 The restaurant’s interior is described as charming, cozy, and inviting with thoughtful decor featuring wood and mirrors. Service: 5/5 Excellent service was noted, enhancing the dining experience. Food Quality: 3.5/5 • Seafood Gumbo: Excellent, with lots of meat and great flavor. • Little Fish Sandwiches: Just okay. • Mexican Seafood Cocktail: Lacking flavor. • Fish and Chips: Generous portion and tasty with a light batter. • Blackened Shrimp and Grits: Bland, dominated by bacon flavor. Overall Rating: 4/5 The restaurant delivers on ambiance, service, and some standout dishes like the seafood gumbo and fish and chips, but there’s room for improvement in seasoning and balance for other dishes.
Su N — Google review
This place has great vibes and customer service, but the food was a little disappointing. The oysters on the half shell were great, full of flavor. The seafood gumbo was a little off however. The soup wasn't very thick and flavors weren't as pronounced as something like a New Orleans gumbo. The lobster roll was good but the included fried tasted a little off as well. They have a great bar and good selection of cocktails/wines, so great place to grab a drink and hang out.
Donald N — Google review
Always a fantastic meal. Avery(ask for her!), Eric, and the entire service team go out of their way to make it an incredible time. Even the owners will stop by and check in. Fantastic atmosphere, incredibly seafood, and easily has a top 3 burger in Dallas !
Ben H — Google review
From the forgettable name to the slow service, Green Point just barely makes 4 stars. It’s more of a 3.5. The fish was decently good but nothing unique or special. The gumbo was above average because it was “meaty” and flavorful. My favorite part was dessert-the chocolate chip cookies were excellent. For the price, there are too many other good restaurant options where I’d prefer to go.
Grish240 — Google review
Green Point Seafood absolutely delivered on every front! We started our meal with the crudo, and it was the perfect way to ease into the evening—fresh, vibrant, and beautifully plated. The highlight for me, though, was hands-down the lobster roll. Perfectly buttery, packed with fresh lobster, and served on the softest toasted bun—it was everything I hoped for and more. And I can’t say enough good things about our server, Brian. He was knowledgeable, attentive without being overbearing, and had great recommendations that truly elevated our dining experience. If you’re a seafood lover (or even if you’re not!), Green Point is a must-visit. Can’t wait to come back!
Christina P — Google review
By far my new favorite place in Dallas!! Dining with a big group and we couldn't have picked a better place!! While they do specialize in fabulous seafood, don’t skip over the awesome hamburger! It is a must! I will say our group was slow on making decisions, but the waitress ( I believe her name was Avery), was very patient in explaining all of the dishes to us and so attentive to our needs, without being bothersome. She is a jewel!! The cookie & ice-cream dessert is the best! After dinner, a few of us Moved to the bar and thoroughly enjoyed the specialty cocktails!! Hunter the bartender was so fun and makes delicious drinks!! We nick-named him The Drink Master! The food, the drinks, the staff & the lovely dining room make for an unforgettable experience!! We will keep coming back!!!

Bowldega Superfoods is a laid-back spot where you can customize your own bowls with an array of toppings like granola and fresh fruit. The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, with a staff that's eager to help navigate the menu of nourishing options. The focus on using top-quality, fresh ingredients stands out. Customers rave about the excellent acai bowl made with Brazilian acai that doesn't melt fast and tastes almost like frozen yogurt.
A bit hard to find in the back of a salon but 100% fresh ingredients and lots of options. Super friendly and informative staff. My new go-to!

My favorite place to indulge in a satisfying açaí bowl! Ingredients and toppings are so fresh and I love the matcha açaí and the fresh flavor! If I lived next door I would definitely come at least once or twice a week then randomly like I do. Healthy, yummy, burst of fruity goodness. Also has some vegan and gluten free options as well as a convenience store here I was happy to find. ❤️

Excellent açaí bowl!! Maybe the best I’ve had just about anywhere. The guy who runs it took his time describing everything. You build the base which is from several selections and go from there. He mentioned he sources his açaí from Brazil and it’s not made from juices which helps it not melt fast. Mine was absolutely delicious! Tasted almost like frozen yogurt. Well worth it!!

I got the signature bowl and was pleasantly surprised! Another reviewer had mentioned these were the best acai bowls they've had so I had to stop and try before flying home. So good! Extremely fresh and the 16oz was the perfect size. The employees were also very polite and pleasant.

Really delicious açaí bowl! They do more of a frozen ice cream type of consistency which was great cause it didn’t melt too fast. They also have unlimited toppings which is nice and you can have multiple bases as well.

So delicious, you feel like you're eating dessert! I enjoyed a 12oz (small). Frozen base of, blue Magic, Ube, Chia coconut pudding, w/pumpkin seeds, cacao, goji berries, bee pollen, almonds, strawberries, blueberries, bananas, & almond butter. Happy I stopped here, real food for your mind, body, and soul. Live, love local. I wish these were everywhere! Thanks✌🏻💙🥥🍌🍓

If you're on the hunt for a delightful Italian dining experience, look no further than San Marzano in Uptown Dallas. This newly opened restaurant is a true culinary treasure, specializing in handmade pasta that will leave you craving more. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between modern elegance and cozy warmth, making it an ideal spot for both casual meals and special celebrations. During my visit, I indulged in their creamy tomato vodka sauce paired with spicy sausage—an absolute delight!
We had a great time at San Marzano! The vibe in there is elevated casual which we enjoyed. The menu is small but I felt like there were still enough items for me to choose from. We started off with the arancini and Caesar salad which were fantastic. The two pastas we got were a short rib rigatoni and a vodka sauce rigatoni with spicy sausage. Some reviewers have commented on the portions not being enough but I felt they were enough. Service was friendly and did a good job as they continue to work through new opening logistical issues. We would certainly come back here!
Alan R — Google review
We came by during brunch & we got to try out some things on the menu we saw suggested from other people. Our waiter/ bartender was on point. He took care of 3 tables, the bar & door dash. We stared off with the meatballs. They were tender, but they were overpowered by the number of onions in them. We could taste the onions hours after the meal. The chicken parmigiana was good, but doesn't come with any pasta, so there's a $8 up charge to get spaghetti pasta. I will also suggest to order garlic bread with cheese, because it helped the dishes. The pasta is supposed to be all handmade. I believe they are & they good.
Charles J — Google review
Fantastic cocktails and food. Wedge salad was refreshing. Shrimp scampi with GF option and Pear Ravioli were incredible. Ravioli with sausage option was superior to Globe in Miami! Bar tender was incredibly detailed. You can’t go wrong.

San Marzano is a fine Italian dining place in uptown Dallas. The ambience of the restaurant is nice. I had the eggplant and pesto sauce based pasta(vegetarian) and it was good. My friends said the other dishes which included salads and meat to be good as well. At the rush hours, the place might get a bit noisy. The restaurant is located in a great location as well. It is easily identifiable from the main street and has ample parking space

This is a large party of 24 people that Brian( manager) did a great job organizing. We planned ahead of time what courses they were going to start bringing out and at what times. I had proposed to my fiancé the day of, and we came here soon afterwards. Jack our server was also really attentive. Big or small party I recommend coming here because the food was also very delicious and the ambiance was great and classy, they helped this a night to remember P.S. thank you guys for helping to make that day special. I hope you guys are ready for my next visit.

Ahhhh, San Marzano, a fine Italian establishment. The misses and I dined here for our 2 year anniversary and it did not disappoint one bit. Nestled in the vibrant Design District, Oak & Ellum has made quite an impression since its opening earlier this year. Chef Jason Maddy's culinary creations have garnered widespread acclaim, and the restaurant continues to thrive with a menu that remains budget-friendly. Although Oak recently closed its doors after a decade of operation, it was a beloved spot owned by Richard Ellman, who also runs other local favorites like Pakpao and El Bolero.
I recently moved over here in January, and it has been such a wonderful experience so far! I love all my amenities, especially the gym! All my neighbors are very friendly and nice. One of the best part about living over here is that we are in the heart of downtown! If you never been to Deep Ellum it’s literally walking distance! Also, it is a dog friendly complex and if you are a Starbucks lover like me you can wake up and walk across the street. It’s a Tom Thumb literally across the street!!! Makes grocery shopping way cooler when you know you can just walk back home afterwards😅. All of the office and maintenance staff are very nice and get the job done. Also, it’s SUMMERTIME! So, go down to the pool and grill and jump in the water very nice pool area. Overall I can say this is a great choice to pick if you’re looking for an apartment downtown. I am loving it so far, and they keep it very clean and nice. Take my advice if you are looking to move definitely choose Oak & Ellum! 🤗

I’ve never had such a bad experience with anything in my entire life! They have promised to have the gates fixed since before I moved in a year ago but I didn’t know that when I moved in. I am in a situation where safety is important and Pam in the office knew the situation I was moving away from and was aware of the details when I moved in and instead of being honest and telling me that the gates have never worked here for more than 3 days since the apartments opened, she told me they would be fixed soon! A year later and in a year they only worked literally for a couple days the whole year! They committed to residents in multiple emails to have security officers at the gates checking names and they failed to do that, I have pictures almost nightly of no security at the gate. The office has a different excuse every night why no one was at the gate. There was dog poo in the elevator one Saturday and I informed Pam in the office and she tried to manipulate me into feeling bad for her being by herself in the office on Saturdays and she said she didn’t know if she would have time to pick it up before Monday. This is a health sanitation issue! My heat went out several times over the winter and they had me use my emergency heat setting and assured me it wouldn’t affect my electric bill and wouldn’t ya know it tripped! They thought a measly $75 gift card would suffice, that didn’t even cover a quarter of what my bill increased to with using the emergency heat, which the gift card never showed up so I had to hassle them until they gave me a credit on my account would fix it! Now it’s time to renew my lease and I thought surely after putting my safety in jeopardy daily I would cut a break, nope! They are increasing my rent by $286 a month plus doubling my parking fee! This place doesn’t care about its residents! Do not move in here! Save yourself time and money and your safety!
Lindsay L — Google review
After moving out and living at a different apartment that is 10x better I wanted to leave a quick review. This place is just plain nasty. I’m sorry but there was always trash every where. It smelled bad and people smoked on property. I had gnat problems all the time it was disgusting and I am a very clean person. I will say that the staff was always nice to me personally and maintenance staff as well but it just seems like no one here cares about the cleanliness of the common spaces. There is a lack of care and attention to detail. I would send emails and complain and legit nothing would be done. Parking here is the worst. I got a reserved spot and paid extra for it and someone would be in my spot 90% of the time and it was my job to get them to move HAHAHA. Also the garage is so small and you can barely get your car through if another car is coming up and I would be honked at in my own communities garage by other residents and flipped off. I felt so unsafe and disrespected. The garage gate also never worked so many cars got broken into including mine. So thankful I got through my lease and was able to move to somewhere safe and clean. I did not renew my lease and I would never live here again.

!!! I have mixed feelings about oak and Ellum property! Let’s start with the bad Gates never work! Elevator always down Garage stinks Garage pilled up Water bugs everywhere The will not give back your security deposit, will find every reason not to! I had a 2 /2 and never used the other room they claimed they had to change both of the carpets in the rooms . One I never used! Costing me $700 of my security There was a crime scene incident in June 2025 here leading to a death, after a chase with cops that ended here at the property. Smells like weed The pool was closed from October to May They will enter your apartment for every reason the could think of. The fire alarm goes off for long period of time Stolen packages All extra fees apply after moving in . Taxes, water, fetch etc. If you think your rent will be $1700 and $200 to that! Good factors. Staff will try to accommodate you. Pam and Bryce are amazing. They respond to maintenance issues fast They always have events in the clubhouse for families It’s fairly quiet Clean level us a 7 out of 10 Overall you can make this place a cozy home. I have lived here for 14 months.
Myasia W — Google review
Buckle up. My first issue is how filthy this apartment is. There are regular problems of dog feces in the hallways for days at a time, cigarette butts in the parking garages and trash spilling out into the parking garage because residents don't know how to abide by the valet trash rules. Pigeons can frequently be seen eating out of this trash and I would bet there are also mice and bugs, too. This smells horrible and is so embarrassing for when I have guests. Garbage is also finding its way into the hallways now. This has been happening since at least September of 2024. The gates STAY broken here. I legitimately can't remember the last time they were functional. Cars are broken into and it's easy to understand how. Last week I saw an unhoused man walk into the second floor hallway door at 6am. Also, residents have figured out that if you pull on the hallway doors enough times/with enough force, you don't need a key fob to enter. This leads to broken doors and even greater security risks. You better believe we’re still paying for a gated community and key fob entry, though. I do not feel safe here. During the freeze that just came through earlier this year, management sent out an email that the maintenance team would be entering our apartments to put a space heater in our water heater closets that are located outside of the units to keep pipes from bursting. Not only did this run up my electric bill by having a space heater run 24/7 for 6 days, maintenance apparently didn’t close my balcony door well because I woke up after a night shift to my door being wide open. Thank God I don’t live on the first floor or else I could have been robbed blind (please refer back to the zero security measures mentioned earlier). Again, I do not feel safe here. To be a resident here, you also have to pay for Fetch delivery service. I've had more packages lost on their end and stolen off my doorstep in the first year and a half of me living there than I have with every other delivery experience in my life. I have my packages delivered to an Amazon locker a few miles away but still pay for Fetch. Also, summer is coming up so be prepared to not be able to go to the pool because residents love breaking glass bottles every other day down there. I appreciate the safety measures so that I don't cut myself while swimming, it's just a shame in general. This is my third unit in this complex. Both this one and the one before have had structural issues where anytime water runs through a pipe, it expands and rubs against the 2x4s in the wall. This creates a loud popping noise that lasts until the water is finished running. This happens for my sinks, shower, toilet and washing machine. I can tolerate it when I’m awake, but it will wake you up if a neighbor comes home from Deep Ellum at 3am and takes a shower. As I mentioned earlier, I have been a resident here for three years now and have seen many leasing crews come and go. I have emailed the leasing associates and managers a total of three times throughout April about these concerns and I haven’t heard a word back from them. However they’ve been VERY active on social media and relentlessly sending email blasts about the waffle bar downstairs. Extremely disappointing.

This one’s specifically for Pam, who has been the most sweetest and efficient person from the tour till me finally moving in. She virtually showed me around the building, and I fell in love with O&E instantly. I asked her to help me with the lease as I had to move in within a couple of days- and the lease was in my email on the same day just within a few hours. She made sure that my apartment is clean and well presented when I moved in and oh my I was so surprised to see what a beautiful place it is. I am in love with Oak and Ellum and I honestly have no complaints. The pool is well maintained, community is clean and safe, and Brice and Pam are two of the kindest leasing agents I have come across. No regrets! They are amazing. Go for it.
Anjali K — Google review
DO NOT MOVE HERE. Every bit of my lease term has been a problem. Elevators are never operable, the grounds are NOT secure, garage is wide open, units are hacked together - I have a floor to ceiling split that spans 2 rooms - they put paint on it. The garage is disgusting, the trash rooms are disgusting, the common areas are constantly broken and filthy, doors don’t seal, windows leak and I’m honestly embarrassed to have company over.
Tyler O — Google review
As a current resident, I must say, I commend the staff for trying their best to shift the negative narrative around this place. The staff here is great and very accommodating. The maintenance team is also very speedy, in my experience, the team would come out and fix whatever needed attention no later than the next day. I do believe they are doing the right things to ensure they provide top tier experiences for their residents. The changes are noticeable. Thank you and major shoutout to PAM for always being so awesome and welcoming.

I was so excited to try this place, but it ended up walking out instead of ordering. I have some food allergies and was shocked by the staffs’ unwillingness to make a single substitution on my behalf. I wanted to replace the almond butter in my smoothie and was told I could only do so if I paid for an extra ingredient. I proposed several amenable solutions, but was unable to negotiate a single compromise. The store had so many cool snacks, and I loved the vibe, but I felt punished for having food allergies and ended up leaving without a smoothie.

Was not greeted at all upon entry. Even as I was at the counter the young gentleman was just looking at me. Not rude but not warm either. I think the owners were there they were nice though. I have a well balanced diet already. I had the 24karat magic and a separate shot of the beet/lemon. The expiration date for the shot was 10/16 the date I ordered and consumed the shot and drink was 10/15. I immediately drank both and shortly felt my stomach didn’t respond well. The next morning I am experiencing the worst diarrhea ever. All day multiple trips to the bathroom. My stomach is making the loudest noises ever. It’s currently the middle of the night the next day and the noises from my stomach literally woke me up. Very embarrassing. I don’t think putting the drinks on ice or refrigerating the drinks is a good idea. These drinks should be made fresh only. I really wanted to like this place but this stomach experience is horrible.

Unfortunately I don't think I'm gonna get a fresh juice here anymore. They use tap water in between juices, it's filtered, but I don't even drink filtered tap and the woman allowed almost an inch of water in my juice glass before juicing the veggies. I understand you're busy, but I don't want to pay 9 bucks for filtered tap water mixed with juice. Over it. During the pandemic they were absolutely crazy about masks even though I was medically exempt, and I'll never forget how that made me feel. Happy to try other places now. Also, she didn't filter my juice so I'm currently chewing it. Fun times 👎

01/24/20 @ 5:24 My girlfriend and I went to this location. The staff was some what friendly. We ask what was the popular choice. Our first time visiting. I got the poplar juice Green Glow and my friend got I think the Ruby Slipper. We both got very sick with stomach aches, I was vomiting, and diarrhea. I didn't ask her symptoms but she missed church that weekend. It has a cozy, nice atmosphere and cute.

My first time and I was greeted as I walked in. Great atmosphere,so kind and very helpful. Terrific staff! Thank you so much! I will definitely be a returning customer. Highly recommend!

Why arent your cashiers educated on what vegan is? I find it abysmal that when asking to confirm if an item is vegan in a health food juice bar that the people that work there dont even know the ingredients in their own food. I literally asked the cashier if the food was vegan and she looked at me like I had 3 heads and was completely clueless. That also makes me question who is making the food and if there are non vegans how often it gets mixed up because they dont know what no dairy no animal products means...

Haven't been to the gem in a year and it was just like I remember. Great juice recipes and the only place I know of where I can get ginger shot.

I have been to this new location today and was surprised how dirty the floor was and there tables. When I had a soup the cup was not even full which was never the case before. The employees giggle more in the back than taking care of the business cleanliness. Can you imagine how clean there juice devices are, if they don’t even clean there tables. It was not even busy. Absolute careless useless new generation getho hippies.

Pride of ownership shines brightly at The Gem! These owners and employees are perfection! I always know whatever goes into my body from The Gem is nutritious, clean, pure and prepared with lots of love and attention to detail. When you see the owners jumping in to help at the register on busy days and cleaning the front doors to make sure all is sparkling you know they are making sure too that all that goes into their customers bodies sparkles as well ✅

CUSTOMER SERVICE AND PRODUCT QUALITY: I purchased the 5 Day Diamond Cleanse on Monday, 9 Aug., for a scheduled pick up for Tuesday at noon. This was a $299.39 purchase, which included a $45 tip. I figured with all the great reviews, the tip warranted what I thought I'd be receiving in return. As of Tuesday at 1130 am, my ordered hadn't been accepted nor prepared by this Luther Lane location. After I called the location to see why, I was told that my order was nowhere to be found and that I must have the wrong location. The young lady who answered the phone asked for my number so that she could call me back. I suggested she also take my order number. She took it down and proceeded with she would try to locate my order and call me back. 15 mins after the phone call ended, I received a phone notification stating my order was ready for pickup. I drove to the Luther Lane location to pick up my order. Once I walked in to the store, I was not greeted as a customer and there was no enthusiasm from the workers. I proceeded to the counter to retrieve my order, and I was told that I would be receiving my 2 Days worth that Tuesday, and would have the come back and get the other 3 Days on Wednesday. I thought that was odd! As I started my cleanse Wednesday morning, and thought it would have made more sense for me to retrieve that next 3 Days on Thursday. Either way, I was given my 2 days and wasn't told anything else but that. I called Wednesday, 10 May, around 10am to schedule a pick up time for the next 3 days. I was told that the serving had already been made and ready for pick up. Again odd to me, as I was unable to pick up that day and had to go on Thursday. Considering that the juice is freshly made, I don't understand why the scheduling of a cleanse pick up is an issue for this place. Especially after going in on Tuesday and all the workers appear to not want to be there, and had the facial expressions of clock watchers. When I arrived Thursday, I received the best customer service from Lyla. She not only was happy to assist me, she also informed me on how I should be taking the cleanse. She actually lead with a smile and seemed to be the only person who wanted to be in this place. Her commitment and dedication to providing great customer service, is what I was looking for that Tuesday. As for as the cleanse, the taste and textures were unsatisfactory. Very bland, and I didn't taste any of the ingredients on the label. Day 3 is when I usually start to feel the pros of a cleanse. Since it's only day 2, I will come back for another review at the end. I am an avid juicer. Every 4 months I do a 5 day cleanse. I try to give every juice bar in Dallas the opportunity to WOW me. Especially if there are good reviews. Unfortunately, this place did not. I will stick with Clean Juice before going here again. Better tasting product, and way better customer service. 16 May 2022: I felt no benefits of this juice cleanse. I honestly believe it was form the lack of a quality product!

First time trying The Gem this week...Love the products and Love the staff! Great fresh juices and food. Doesn't taste like it was made days ago. Staff was very helpful and accommodating to my diet needs. The best part is they have Workout Cleanse that includes FOOD also! I'm kicking my current juice bar to the curb! The Gem is my new home!

Aside from the ocean of pain killing; extraordinarily flavorful margaritas by Jeremy and James, I was recently introduced to the Hanger Steak salad by Cory (Sp). Prepared medium rare, it is superlative. If we must compare, it is better than the Victoria steak at Outback, and FAR superior to the pepper steak at Del Frisco's or the hanger steak at Roy's in Plano or Waikiki. Enough said. If you like beef in just the right quantity with an abundance of flavor, this is the one and this is the place! Wishing you simply the best, Coach.

The hanger steak salad is amazing! Just enough spice, the perfect rare steak and a local goat cheese feta that melts in your mouth. Another favorite is the Scotch Egg, well done by Chef Graham!!! The service was amazing, the drinks are fantastic, the food is always suburb.
