Had a great experience with the bottomless brunch. We got Josh as our server and he was great with keeping our drinks refreshed. Overall an great time with amazing food x

Had fantastic bottomless brunch! Our server Josh was very attentive and made sure our glasses were never empty. Food has been DE LICIOUS! Wonderful afternoon with friends in great atmosphere. Will definitely come back.

We were here for lunch. We had a Bay burger, Hot chicken burger, brown chicken stew and kingston fried chicken. Everything was really good. A surprise was that the cocktails came 2:1. All in all a very good location with a superb service and a great ambience.

I couldn't fault the last visit. Was served by the manager Claire. She was brilliant, fast and even provided us with drinks not on the menu. Turned on the Aircon for us too as it was very hot. We were then served by Sophia who was also excellent. Very friendly, gave great service and made sure we made the most of our app vouchers and didn't want a tip. Really good service. So much better than before when we had the kids The bottomless brunch has changed, but the food you get is a lot more. Just a few less cocktails but we still enjoyed them Definitely the best bottomless brunch
Stezo2k — Google review
Joshua was welcoming and happy to keep cocktails flowing. Was lovely to have a chat with him between serving guests and very informative about changes to cocktail menu. Food was amazing too xx would definitely recommend brunch deal.

We came to celebrate my daughters 21st and OMG we had the BEST waitress. Funny, attentive, friendly, on the ball and just got our vibes. She was so funny having us laughing so much i had to adopt her so she didn't feel left out. The sun was shining, the drinks were flowing and we had an unforgettable afternoon thanks for everything Diandra xx

If you're on the hunt for a vibrant spot to unwind in Bournemouth, look no further than Slug & Lettuce - The Square. This stylish bar chain boasts a contemporary atmosphere and an enticing cocktail menu that will surely impress. With its global classics menu, it's perfect for enjoying delicious meals throughout the day or indulging in their famous 2-for-1 cocktails available all day, every day!
I’ve always enjoyed Slug & Lettuce as a bar in the evenings, but after this lunch visit, I can confidently say it holds its own as a restaurant too. There’s something uniquely enjoyable about having a well-prepared meal in a stylish bar setting, and this experience proved just that. I ordered the Steak & Fries, and I was genuinely impressed. The steak itself was of good quality, with just the right amount of marbling to keep it tender and flavourful. Most importantly, it was cooked exactly to my requested doneness—a sign of both a well-trained kitchen and attentive service. The exterior was beautifully seared, creating a rich, caramelised crust, while the interior remained succulent and juicy. The fries were crisp and well-seasoned, making for a satisfying accompaniment. Beyond the food, I appreciated how the staff took care to ensure my preferences were met, which speaks volumes about the service quality. And for the standard of food offered, the prices were more than reasonable. If you’re looking for a place that delivers both a chic bar vibe and a solid dining experience, this is definitely one to consider!

Went yesterday for Afternoon Tea. The staff were most excellent, especially our server. Great value for money at £15 a head. My favourite part without a doubt was the scones. The atmosphere was very relaxed, great views when sat by the window and is disabled friendly with an accessible disabled toilet. Will definitely go there again.

Lovely experience, I went with my friend in Saturday afternoon. Chris was excellent and very attentive even when he came late after our time was finished he asked for more drinks. Amazing service from him, shout out to him and all the best. My friends and I will come back again for brunch 🥰 thanks.

Went for bottomless brunch. From the moment we walked in we were greeted by Chris who was also our server for our table. I cannot praise him enough. He was so friendly and welcoming, he made sure we had drinks, got out food order really quick and the food was good. Great choice available for the price you pay and a great choice of drinks too included. Thankyou again to Chris and all the other staff we interacted with, made our afternoon a great one! We even ended up back there later when they had a dj.

Brunch restaurant
Ojo Rojo is a charming, independently owned restaurant and bar located in Bournemouth, offering a warm and rustic-modern ambiance. The menu features Mexican cuisine with a twist, including elevated street tacos and tapas inspired by Central American flavors. Whether you're a vegan, gluten-free, or a meat lover, there are plenty of options to choose from such as pulled pork tacos, vegan nachos, shrimp, and chicken wings.
I loved it here! We ate so many different things and everything tasted amazing! My highlights were the pork tacos and the trio of dips with tortilla chips (one of the dips is hot cheese!) The cocktails are really interesting and delicious. Staff were very friendly and informative, even warned us before the kitchen was closing so we could order any more food we wanted. The decor is very fun with pretty twinkling lights. My only tiny gripe was that I did get a little bit chilly towards the end of the meal but otherwise a perfect dinner out.
Demi J — Google review
Went in for my partners birthday, took him for food and drinks and it was fab! Great service, great drinks and recommendations. Was still very quiet when we were in there, I think we were 1 of 3 tables sat down but atmosphere was still good and waiters very friendly! Deffo recommend!
Simply A — Google review
Was a quieter evening when we went. Service was good and everything came within a reasonable time. The atmosphere was still lovely and the lady that served us was so amazing and friendly!! The corn ribs were the BEST, honestly wasn’t expecting them to be so good but they were one of our favourites. Would recommend!!
Elizabeth U — Google review
Amazing place. My friend and I chose Ojo Rojo because she needs a decent gluten free me u with plenty of options. We had not visited here before but will definitely be back again. We loved the ambience, look of the place, lovely warm welcome. Great menu choices for food and drinks. We had mulled wine 🍷 on the advice of the server. Every dish was gorgeous and as he predicted we didn't eat it all and took a doggie bag home. The guys that served us were welcoming, friendly and fun.

Came here for dinner on a visit to Bournemouth, it's a great cool spot, staff were polite and friendly from the point we arrived to when we left, good choice of dishes, everything tasted great, and the happy hour cocktails were also fantastic! Well worth a visit if you're in the area, not one to be missed!
Antony H — Google review
Amazing food and service! Visited about 6 on a Sunday evening, and it was quiet. We ordered the chicken enchiladas to share, the chicken and the duck tacos, and 2 tapas, which were the hasselback chorizo and the rojo rice.
Donna S — Google review
Really wanted to love this place. I love mexican food and tapas and this place looked amazing. Unfortunately my high expectations were too high. Half of of the food we had was very bland and some of it was very small. We did like the duck, the chorizo and potatoes though. We'd only order these if we went again We tried 2 of your cocktails and they we really bitter. they're a different type of cocktail compared to most other places. They look amazing but they're very marmite Service was a mixed bag. The Swedish/European guy was amazing but the other guy with the dark hair wasn't. We had to ask him twice for some garlic sauce and didn't know how to process out gift card
Stezo2k — Google review
While it's temporarily smaller than it was before the food is still as good as I remember - but watch this space as I overheard the exciting new plans and I can't wait!

Saturday walk in to SixtyM as dog friendly and they have PL football on the TV. Nice pint of Asahi. Quiet on the day but I assume this place gets busy. Good looked okay though I didn’t eat as not hungry. Staff were cool, friendly polite and helpful.
Rory C — Google review
Came in as a group of 8 during the day to get food. With the place empty we somehow all didn’t get our food even close to at the same time, mine was one of the last to come out and at that time everyone else was done as you can see from picture. Sandwich was dry - had to go to the bar to find someone to ask if they had any mustard or sauces to where I got a salty answer of “whatever’s on the table” Zero percent helpful restaurant was empty so don’t really get how it was so hard to be nice or helpful Also probably would have drank a lot more if you check on the table
Brittany H — Google review
I have seen many different menus here over the years but have to say the current menu is brilliant. The deals are great, the staff are friendly and the events are a fun way to spend an evening. I recommend the pub quiz night or the open mic night. The booths also have usb ports to let you charge your phones. The only reason it's not 5 star is because the toilets are downstairs so not great if you have accessibility needs

Had a brilliant time at 60 million last weekend. Went there for a date night with the most beautiful lady I could find... Food was delicious, beer was cold and atmosphere was impeccable. Will be back as soon as possible!

I had a fantastic experience thanks to Klaire at 60MPC. She truly went above and beyond to make my visit special. Klaire took the time to walk me through the menu, helping me figure out which items fit my dietary needs without making me feel rushed. Her knowledge and genuine care really stood out. On top of that, she recommended an incredible cocktail that was absolutely perfect. Klaire is a true asset to the team—warm, attentive, and exceptional at what she does!

Bar
Be At One in Bournemouth is the ultimate destination for cocktail enthusiasts and party lovers alike. This vibrant bar, part of a popular chain with over 40 locations across the UK, boasts an impressive menu featuring around 150 cocktails that cater to every taste—from timeless classics to innovative new mixes. The skilled bartenders here are not just experts; they infuse each drink with creativity and flair, ensuring a delightful experience with every sip.
A nice little place that makes you think you're going to one level, but you're dropped down to the basement. It is an easy to follow cocktail menu but with all your favourites on one page that don't need any explanation. The toilets are very clean and stylish and everything works. The bar staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful as they want you to have the best experience. The atmosphere is very now with secluded booths and coloured lights. It was good that you could hear yourself talk, but I'm sure the music would have gone up with more people.
William C — Google review
We booked the deluxe cocktail making package and Billy and Beth were excellent. We were a party of 5 for a 21st birthday. We had a blast, making the cocktails and throwing the ice (a Beatone tradition). You get to be behind the bar and actually mix your own cocktails from a choice of around 10. We had a Bellini on arrival, 2 cocktails and 1 shot. Cowboy hat for The birthday girl, medal, and sunglasses, fabulous and fun and would definitely recommend for a celebration.

Fantasticly friendly barman Ollie. Very helpful and the cocktails were really nice ( basic but nice)
Karen K — Google review
We were on a short break to Bournemouth and I promised my hubby a Bueno cocktail....when we arrived at the bar they had no ice cream for the much anticipated drink! However after a short jokey conversation with the very helpful barman we sat down with another (delicious) choice of drink. Next we knew Billy came over with 2 Bueno drinks having gone out for the ice cream. Absolutely brilliant customer service. Thank you Billy...you made our day!!

Here's a possible Google review for Be At One Bar in Bournemouth: --- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had such an amazing time at Be At One in Bournemouth! The atmosphere was buzzing from the moment I walked in, with great music and a lively vibe that instantly put me in the party mood. The bartenders were super friendly and absolutely masters at their craft – the cocktails were amazing

A really cosy almost 'speakeasy' vibe to this bar, with an amazing taste of music- everything from the 70's to early 2000's. Absolute masters of cocktails and a menu that will have you stood at the bar for like 5 minutes going "uuuuuhhhhhhhhh" Staff were so helpful and welcomed you the second you step in. Perfect place for a few classy cocktails Also HAPPY HOUR EVERY DAY

Brewhouse & Kitchen - Southbourne is a modernized pub that brews its own beer and offers a variety of American-style comfort food. The menu includes options like homemade mac and cheese, beer can chicken, and chipotle lentil burgers. In addition to their on-site microbrewery producing five delicious beers, they also offer over 50 different craft beers. The location in The Triangle area is known for its freshly brewed award-winning craft beers and provides opportunities for live music and outdoor seating.
Large pub with brewery. Huge selection tion of beers both own brewed and imported. Called in on a Friday afternoon and the place wasn't too busy. Nice brewery themed decor, clean and tidy plus a reasonable sized beer garden out back. Enjoyed a few good beers and the food was great too. We had the Steak & Ale pie and the Beer Can Chicken, both delicious. The waitress was friendly and the wait was short. It was starting to get busier by the time we left. Happy to return soon.
D M — Google review
I really wanted it to be good as the beer, location and decor is great but the food really let them down. Sunday roast option was quite frankly inedible. The three meat option - presentation was great - however the chicken and the pork were so dry the knife refused to cut it, The pork dinner - well if you like 70% chewy fat this is for you! On a more positive, the chicken burger, cheese burger and mac and cheese were great….. So the moral of the story is don’t expect a nice Sunday roast on a Sunday!
Matt M — Google review
Today had a great gin master class with meal. Tye led our tasting. He was very welcoming, and knowledgeable about gin. He made the experience amazing. I would highly recommend this experience to others. It’s great value for money (5 single gins then a double of your choice) and would be a great gift for others.
James M — Google review
The beer is fantastic and the standard food can be great, but the place struggles even on a half-busy evening. Ordered the pork belly Sunday roast - the meat was tough like leather, the potatoes dry like sawdust, and some listed items were missing from the plate. Our waitress was lovely and doing her best, but clearly overwhelmed due to being understaffed. It’s disappointing, especially since this isn’t the first time service and food quality have dropped under mild pressure. Great potential, but too inconsistent - just come for the beer, they can't mess that up!
Christopher H — Google review
My family and I did a brewery experience with the master brewer, Connor and his amazing apprentice! Both gent's were amazing and so knowledgeable; he's pretty much a professor in beer! 11/10

Our 25th wedding anniversary. We met at the steam house a long long time ago. Meal and a few drinks to celebrate. Service was very very poor. Waitress came to supply water never took a drinks order, had to go to the bar. Food order came wrong, but rectified. Southern fried chicken burger was seriosly over cooked and very dry. No checks from the server. Had to go to the bar again. Requested desert menus. Took an age to arrive. Possibly due to getting the adjacent order wrong twice. Good beer, but service and food needs serious improvement.
Stuart P — Google review
The Southbourne Brewhouse is the jewel in the crown of the chain. We visited for a family birthday and were very well taken care of, especially by Iona who was super nice and helpful. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend the great selection of beers and ciders, along with the burgers which are out of this world.

A warm and stylish atmosphere, perfect for a relaxed meal or drinks. The staff are friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming experience. The food is delicious, small portion size but well presented, with a great variety of options. A fantastic spot for casual dining with a touch of elegance! Highly recommend

It was my first time in Bournemouth and I'd ended up very sun kissed and wanted to avoid getting fish and chips at the seaside. I didn't find it easy to stumble upon a place in the town centre, but my friend looked on Google Maps and our tired legs brought us here and what a treat. Everything was great - I'm just a tough cookie to give a 5!
Tim B — Google review
Had dinner at the Cosy Club in Bournemouth with my girlfriend (and our small dog, which was a big plus — they’re pet friendly!). First impressions were great: the place has a really stylish vibe with funky decor and a lively but relaxed atmosphere. Definitely one of those spots where you notice the little touches. The staff were attentive without being over the top, which kept everything easygoing. I went for the cod and chips, and it was a nice twist on the classic — instead of a heavy batter, it came in a lighter breadcrumb-style coating on a big, chunky fillet. Tasted fresh and worked really well. All in all, it was a charming and relaxed experience. A good mix of great food, friendly service, and a fun setting — exactly the kind of place you want for a laid-back evening out.

Absolutely amazing every time we been there. Working my way down to the huge cocktail list and tiramisu is my favourite so far. Will definitely come back.
Poorvi S — Google review
We had our wedding reception on the private third floor of the Cosy Club in Bournemouth. Everyone commented how lovely the atmosphere was and how amazing the food was. The service was good as they were looking after 20 of us. We had the top floor booked between 12-5 and arrived about 1pm. We had our own private bar and toilets and the undercover deck area which is lovely. They have vegetarian and vegan options as well as options for those who have food allergies. We highly recommend the Cosy Club for private hire events. Please note photography is by Emma Rolfe.
Rachel M — Google review
We had the cosy eggs and added the hash browns and some bacon and mushrooms, which extraordinarily good! The staff were super friendly and attentive. The setting is unique and elegant. Word of advice, order double the hash browns, because they are amazing!
Laura R — Google review
Just had a lovely meal here with a group, and overall, it was really enjoyable! The Malvani Chicken Curry was spot on—great taste and quality. The service was excellent and the atmosphere made it even better. My only slight letdown was the 6oz Flat Iron Steak—it could've used a bigger portion and value for money didn't quite hit the mark. The drinks, especially the Amaretto Sour, were fantastic, so I'd definitely come back for that!

We had a lovely afternoon enjoying a bottomless brunch. The £35 bottomless brunch including cocktails gave us very good value for money. It was a rainy Saturday afternoon so we knew we would be here for a while so we opted for the bottomless brunch. The food was excellent (chicken waffles and signature burger) and we had freshly made cocktails all for £35! We would have spent more than that individually for the hours we were here. Our waitress Scarlett was attentive and always made sure we had a cocktail on the go, so thank you! We wouldn't hesitate to visit again. The cocktails and food was all great, and we loved the music choice!

Very quiet on the night I visited. I asked for a recommendation on a good beer for around a fiver. , I was allowed to try the pilsner, which I bought for £5.60. Very nice beer for a fair price in the impressive surroundings. Nicely decorated and an impressive looking menu. Look forward to returning.

We visited while on holiday and first impressions were excellent, we ordered at the bar as the app was not working, and were told after ordering (and paying) that certain items were not available. We ordered alternatives which were not as expensive and were not even offered the difference back or any acknowledgement that we had now overpaid. The food was average, slightly burnt cold burger buns and all the meals were just a bit plain overall. Definitely deserve the 3 stars for the decor and lovely atmosphere of the place.

Awesome place with amazing burgers. On the terrace there is these nice beach cottages typically for bournemouth, we just live the place so much so we vent back two days in a row. Not to forget their own beers, also very nice

We came in as a big group and were honestly blown away. The food was exceptional — every single dish was spot on — and the staff were brilliant from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble, everything ran smoothly, and everyone left happy and full! Highly recommend — we’ll definitely be back.

Was recommended this pub, When I arrived the outside looked nice but could do with a bit of tlc. But when I walked in I was pleasantly surprised on how welcoming it was! The decor was beautiful and welcoming! Not to mention the staff especially Phil he went above and beyond to make our experience with you the best.. The food is exceptional! I had the burger, it was incredible. And it’s so nice to be able to taste the beers before buying at a great price.. The garden area is cute with little beach hut booths! Didn’t feel like I was in the centre of Bournemouth.. I will definitely be recommending to everyone. Looking forward to my next visit. Thank you.

Absolutely fantastic pub! From the moment we walked in, the staff were welcoming and friendly. Great selection of beers on tap. We had dinner and were genuinely impressed—the food was delicious and clearly made with care. Highly recommend the steak and ale pie! Portion sizes were generous without compromising on quality.

Absolutely the best chicken burger I’ve ever had, and a really nice selection of drinks and liquors. The atmosphere is really nice and the staff are fantastic. The beer garden is really cute and has a ping pong table, fun for families in the day and fun for a night with adults in the evenings!

Located in the lively heart of Bournemouth, Brass Haus is a spacious and inviting bar adorned with brass fittings. The venue offers special deals on food and drinks while also featuring sports on TV. It's a popular spot for cocktail enthusiasts, offering an extensive selection of handcrafted concoctions to cater to every taste. Additionally, visitors can enjoy digital darts for some friendly competition at affordable prices.
We came here for our Thursday date night and were served by Jess. We were shown the deals for interactive darts and decided to book the 90 minute session for only £6pp. The darts lanes have a switch for table service which was really efficient. We had 2 cocktails to start, the beer battered mushrooms and fries as a snack. All was very tasty and well priced. Excellent service throughout, can highly recommend!

Called in for lunch and was very pleased with our choice it was fairly quiet but still had a good atmosphere. The food came out quickly and was very tasty with large portions. The staff were friendly.

We went to the Brass Haus for Sunday brunch, so we chose a pretty quiet time to visit. I've not been in this venue in about 10 years, so I have some memories of how it used to be, but how it is now is so much better! It's great inside! Love the decor, nice music playing, lovely big stage area at the back, plenty of seating and lots of nooks and crannies! The breakfast menu isn't massive, but it doesn't need to be. I had a bacon and egg bap, with a £1 side of hash browns, and loved every mouthful! It was delicious! I genuinely had nothing to moan about, which is rare in current times. The prices were good, the quality was great, and the staff were lovely! Definitely going back!

Really great place. Haven't been here for years and was last here when it was a dive. This place has really changed and is much much nicer. Decor, food, drinks, atmosphere, live music it's got it all. Great bar staff. Friendly and knowledgeable. Live music on Fridays. Great location. Easily send the whole night here. Plenty to do and great food. Will be visiting again when in the area. Definitely a place to go for a night out.

I had a truly wonderful experience at this restaurant. The service provided by Ava was exceptional — she was extremely friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome throughout our visit. The food was of very high quality, beautifully presented, and offered at excellent prices. The environment was warm, comfortable, and tastefully decorated, making it a perfect place to enjoy a meal. Highly recommended, and I will certainly be returning!

Urban Garden is a trendy and artistic venue located in the heart of Bournemouth's town center. It offers carefully sourced seasonal dishes and drinks, along with a multi-level terrace for guests to enjoy. What sets Urban Garden apart is its family-friendly approach, providing a kids' menu served throughout the day and offering activities like books and games to keep children entertained. The outdoor terrace is lush with foliage, creating a vibrant atmosphere for cocktail enthusiasts looking for a lively evening out surrounded by nature's beauty.
Went here on a Thursday afternoon for lunch. It was nice and quiet so I was able to walk in and still find a table but did start to get busy in the evening! This is one of the prettiest restaurants I've been to in a while. The service and food was excellent as well. They were also very accommodating with my dietary preferences. Would highly recommend!

Very aesthetically pleasing cosy restaurant with an atmosphere to match! Very much sitting outside under the roofed pergola/terrace with the sound of october rain and beautiful colours of autumn trees. Felt like I was brunching in a treehouse! Lovely vegan options - staff very amenable to swaps too! Very much enjoyed and would love to go back if in the area

It was our first time visiting Urban Garden as tourists in Bournemouth, and we absolutely loved it! The place had such a beautiful atmosphere and vibe. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. There was even some entertainment for kids, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We were treated so well and had a delicious lunch—highly recommend the fish and chips!

Amazing staff and cosy atmosphere! We were looking for yummy fish and chips and this is the place for it! Fresh orange juice was on point 👌🏻 I wish the fries were crispier - they were too mushy to my liking. The burger is awesome!

Urban garden is such a great spot for a sunny day with summer rooftop vibes. The food matched the stunning aesthetic and they do a 2 courses for £22 lunch deal! The service was a little slow the day we went and the food took a while but we didn’t mind because it was a lovely place to sit and the food was worth the wait!
Lauren K — Google review
We visited the outdoor terrace of this restaurant on a Saturday afternoon to celebrate a birthday lunch and found it to be an enjoyable experience overall. The setting, with views overlooking the Bournemouth Gardens, offers a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere that suits casual dining occasions. To start, we ordered the smoked haddock Scotch egg. The flavour was well balanced, with the smokiness of the fish complementing the egg nicely. While the yolk would have ideally been runny, the dish was still a strong introduction to the meal and thoughtfully composed. For our main course, we had the Fish and chips. The fish was well cooked and encased in a crisp, golden batter. However, the fish itself carried a slightly muddy aftertaste—likely due to the variety used—which somewhat detracted from the otherwise commendable execution. The hand-cut chips were excellent and arguably the highlight of the plate, showcasing a clear emphasis on freshness and quality. The pea purée had a pleasant flavour but was served cold, likely due to the plates not being sufficiently heated to retain warmth. The house-made tartar sauce, however, was well seasoned and a welcome addition. We also ordered a seasonal local beer, which paired nicely with the meal. It was flavourful and a fitting accompaniment to the dishes. The service throughout was friendly, professional, and attentive without being intrusive, contributing positively to the overall experience. The total cost came to just under £70 for two starters, two mains, and beer, inclusive of an automatically added service charge. Considering the central location, garden views, and quality of the ingredients, this represents good value for money—particularly when ordering from the set lunch menu, even if the selection is understandably limited. While no individual dish reached perfection, the meal was well prepared, the ingredients were fresh, and the experience overall was enjoyable. A fair rating would be 7 out of 10, and we would consider returning—especially for the home made chips and the inviting outdoor setting.

If you're on the hunt for a vibrant spot to enjoy scrumptious food and refreshing drinks, look no further than The Dancing Jug in Bournemouth's lively Triangle area. This pub boasts a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for unwinding or celebrating with friends. One of its standout features is the charming enclosed heated secret garden at the back, ideal for those who want to soak up some sun while sipping their favorite beverages.
A hidden gem. From the outside one cannot tell what it is going to be like inside. In fact it may even look a bit dodgy based on the small and narrow entrance, but once inside there are lots of different seating areas all tastefully decorated and clean. This place is deceptively large with great atmosphere. For our visit we sat in the garden area at the lower level. It is quite cozy but roomy. The seating area resembles a railway arch but clean and decorated. It is pretty cool. It is an ideal setting for a large group of friends or party. The service is excellent and tentative. Food is excellent and nicely cooked with quality ingredients (very tasty). There are different offers on most days plus happy hour and 241 cocktails making it a very reasonable in price. With the great service, this place is hard to beat for value for money. Dancing jug is conveniently located 7 minutes walk from the centre of Bournemouth or 30 seconds walk from the Poole Hill bus stop. It is dog friendly too. Highly recommended.

We’ve spent the weekend in bournmouth on a girls trip and wanted to end with a roast before our travels home. This meal was just amazing I personally had a vegetarian Roast and it was delicious and fantastic value for money with a free drink. Service from the female member of management staff was excellent very friendly, helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. Would 100% go back and recommend. I look forward to returning in July. Thank you for a great experience.

What can I say....excellent customer Service all round, but a special mention must go to the person who welcomed us to our table. Very professional, polite and helpful to every customer. Really enjoyed our time here and they cater for everyone. Highly recommend. 💯👌🏿

Last day of our holiday and found this wee place. Typical pub grub (which we like) staff were nice and pleasant, drink and food were a great price compared to what we have been paying! Wish found it sooner! Had the roast and it was delish 😋 bit too much for us both, but saved room for dessert... Brownie ice cream and cheesecake... Very nice 😁. Deserves 4 stars. Unfortunately I need to put the toilet down a notch. I use a stick so I use disabled toilets. I am always thankful for them. These disabled toilets were a store room.... Chairs tables and high chairs. There is no side bar on toilet, and also no pull cord for emergencies... They are needed when have a fall! And also there was no soap 😔 sorry I've put a negative about this place... Maybe just change the signing to just toilet... Would come back though!

What an incredible bar! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was spot-on—welcoming, stylish, and full of good energy. The lighting and music made it the perfect place to relax, but still had that lively buzz that makes you want to stay all night. The drinks here are next-level. Every cocktail feels carefully crafted, not just thrown together. I tried a couple of recommendations from the bartenders, and each one was perfectly balanced and unique. You can tell there’s real passion and skill behind the bar. Speaking of bartenders, Alli, Cody, and Danielle were absolute standouts. Not only are they fast and professional, but they’re also genuinely friendly and made the whole experience fun. They gave great suggestions, made sure we were taken care of the entire night, and created an atmosphere that felt personal. It’s rare to find a team that makes you feel like a regular on your first visit. This bar nails it across the board—fantastic drinks, amazing service, and a vibe that makes you want to come back again and again. Huge thanks to Alli, Cody, and Danielle for making our night unforgettable!

The food was as good as pub food should be but the service was poor, didn’t take our menus from the table when we ordered. We are sat on a small table so the space was very needed. Didn’t check back to ask if the food was alright or if we needed any drinks so had to get up to go to the bar to order. Our plates were left on the table for a very long time, even after the waitress had come over to take the payment, not sure why they don’t take clear your table then collect the payment as it is done everywhere else and is far more pleasant. Even though it’s half price not sure I would return with the current quality.

Can't recommend this place enough. Had bottomless brunch and the drinks kept flowing. When we was half empty the staff offered more drinks. The food was delicious. I had king prawns , but my girlfriend had a roast and it was as good as any pub. Get the 2.5hrs bar and enjoy the night

While the food was a little bland, the service and the cocktails were phenomenal on the brunch deal. The waiting staff, especially Goktug (also known as princess) was an absolute highlight of my night. O'Neill's in Bournemouth is a lively Irish pub and nightclub offering a warm atmosphere, live music, and hearty Irish-inspired food and drinks. The venue features big-screen sports, live music performances, and an outdoor beer garden with TV screens. One of its highlights is the bottomless pizza brunch available from Thursday to Sunday for a set price per person. Comfy spot in the middle of town, variety of food to choose from and just order and pay from your phone. Outdoor sitting is nice in the late afternoon and not too noisy despite being next to a major roadway. Food itself was really nice and good portion-to-price size.

Easy to find a seat, even on a Friday evening. Place was very warm for midsummer—no fans in sight, which made it a bit uncomfortable. The barman seemed quite miserable… a smile wouldn’t hurt! Menus had quirky wording, which I absolutely loved. Food arrived hot, tasty, and portion sizes were just right. Peas were undercooked, but the steak was done exactly as requested. Gammon was lovely—not fatty—and the chips were great too. Drinks come in either small or large, which felt a bit odd. The music? Fabulous. A fun, nostalgic mix of oldies—none of the usual chart stuff, which was refreshing! Would visit again!

Honestly without a doubt the BEST burger I have ever eaten! I had the chicken bacon and hot honey burger and it was incredible, the condiments on the table helped to finish it perfectly. Lovely venue and friendly staff who were attentive. However the nachos were not good. Guacamole out of a jar and I had to look for the cheese. Food also took a while and they weren’t busy. The venue delightful with a little garden and background of the castle, but the food especially the machos was poor value and disappointing especially for the price.

When exploring the vibrant cocktail scene in Bournemouth, one must not miss the 99 Perk Cocktail Bar. Nestled in a prime location, this bar boasts a fascinating and unique history that dates back to the early 1800s. Its charming ambiance and creative drink offerings make it an essential stop for anyone looking to indulge in expertly crafted cocktails while soaking up the local culture.
Booked a cocktail making masterclass with Kevin (owner) what a fantastic experience. The venue is ornately decorated, creating the perfect atmosphere for creative cocktail making, guided by a professional. As a small group we learnt so much about the origins of cocktails, as well as having a fun time making and drinking our own. Was initially wary of the cost but actually with the quality ingredients, double measures and expert guidance, it was good value - the perfect way to spend a rainy afternoon! Now we've found this gem, we hope to return soon.

We first visited 99 Perk in May and since then, we’ve returned almost every week. The cocktails are exceptional, easily in the top best we’ve ever had. Ingredients like the purées are homemade, and even the olives they serve as snacks which are also amazingly addictive. The owners run the bar themselves and they’re great, super friendly and really know their stuff. Every time we’ve asked for a recommendation, it’s been spot on. There’s loads of variety on the menu, and the presentation is always cool without feeling over the top. They could probably make anything you’re in the mood for, even if it’s not on the menu. The vibe is relaxed and the music is always on point. Best place around to have a proper drink

I came here when this place opened in July 2021. Menu was not as good as it’s today. I’m so glad I came back to try brunch again. Coffee is so good and also food options on the menu. Nice and cozy place. Great for all times. Super recommended.

This was the first time and the last to order from this place. Bag and box arrived damaged, oil was dropping everywhere when it was picked up from driver! Food absolutely swimming in fat. Doesn't even deserve 1 star!!!

I really like your food, I have ordered many times before but this time I was really disappointed. May I suggest if you could have better bags for delivery next time, like plastic bags or double paper bags? I ordered food today and my food was spilled as the paper bag broke when the driver arrived.

Had an amazing bottomless brunch thanks to Charlotte! She was super friendly, attentive, and made sure our drinks were always topped up. The food was great, and the atmosphere was perfect. Can't wait to come back!

We had one of the most disappointing experiences at Slug & Lettuce last Sunday, 14/09. We waited over 40 minutes for cocktails, asked the only staff member we could find three times about them and were completely ignored. Meanwhile, the rest of the staff were in the kitchen laughing and joking instead of dealing with customer orders whilst the manager had her dinner with a large group of friends, perhaps not having her actual break but enjoying some "well deserved" time off. She was right next to us all this time, heard we’ve asked multiple times why is no one even starting the cocktails 30 minutes after we've placed the order but said absolutely nothing, just continued her dinner, didn't even asked another member of staff to sort them out as it's been so long already. The third time we’ve asked about the cocktails no update was provided, instead the waitress apologized saying she had a “more important task” to deal with which we overheard was a cold burger being sent back from a different table. What made the whole situation even worse was the behaviour of the manager, Claire. The first time we spoke to her she claimed she had been “caught up in the kitchen,” but she was actually sat at the table right next to us eating with her friends. Whilst she was sat there, one of the cooks even came over to her table, rolled her eyes, and complained about “someone ordering a bunch of sharers via the app” which turned out to be our order. Truly embarrassing and unprofessional. After she finished her dinner, she went into the kitchen and barely came out of it. Whilst trying to find someone and get an update on the order, I could clearly hear everyone in the kitchen laughing and joking whilst the cocktails were still not even started. In the rare moments someone was actually on the floor, we managed to approach Claire about the cocktails and mentioned it had been over 40 minutes. Bare in mind, the place was empty, only another table of and the manager’s friends. The manager dismissed us, claiming we were lying and that it had only been 20 minutes. We then showed her the order confirmation email, which clearly proved it had been exactly 46 minutes since we placed the first order. When our food finally arrived, almost an hour after, the cocktails were still missing and the order itself was wrong and stone cold. Instead of being told certain items weren’t available, they simply swapped them out without saying a word. Claire shouldn’t be working as a manager in any establishment. She treated the place like it was her own personal hangout with absolutely no regard for customers. Except for a single girl who seemed to actually care, no one else was doing any work. The rest of the staff were literally just sat in the kitchen ignoring orders and customers. We asked for a refund for our entire order and left. This was more than an hour after our first order and joke you not, the cocktails were still not fully done. With Claire working there as a shift manager, we will not be returning and strongly advise others to avoid this location particularly due to the shift manager Claire and her work ethic.

Had the most amazing bottomless brunch at The Slug & Lettuce Bournemouth! The food was delicious, drinks kept flowing and the atmosphere was great. A huge shout-out to Amber, our waitress, who gave absolutely outstanding service — so friendly, attentive and made sure we had the best time. She really made the experience special. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Slug & Lettuce Bournemouth completely ruined my friend’s 21st birthday. It was hands down the worst experience I’ve ever had in a restaurant. We booked for a group of around 20, and the second we walked in, it was clear they were not ready for us. No table prepared, no staff greeting us, just total confusion. We stood around awkwardly while they tried to figure out where to put us - even though we had booked in advance. After a long wait, we were told to clear and clean our own table. A group of paying guests having to wipe down a dirty table ourselves because no one else was doing it. The table was filthy, and in the process of cleaning it, someone’s leftover food spilled across the table and got on my clothes. Not the end of the world, but still disgusting, and the fact no staff offered to help or apologise made it ten times worse. We finally sat down, and then were completely ignored. No one came over. No drinks were taken. No explanation. When drinks eventually started appearing, they were random orders we didn’t even ask for. It felt like they were just bringing out whatever was lying around. It was supposed to be bottomless, but we only got five drinks over the whole session - if that. Some of us were charged £10, others £15, for the exact same deal. No consistency, no explanation. Over an hour went by before any food arrived, which meant we were already late to everything else we had booked for the night. The birthday girl was literally crying from the stress. Her night was ruined before it had even begun properly. When the food did come, it was a joke. No cutlery. No napkins. No sauces. We had to go up and ask for the basics just to be able to eat. One meal came with four sad little breakfast waffle fries instead of actual chips. How is that acceptable? It felt like no one in the kitchen or on the floor actually cared about what they were doing. And the state of the table just got worse. Rubbish, empty glasses, mess everywhere. I ended up clearing it. I’ve worked in hospitality for over five years, and I completely understand when things go wrong. But this wasn’t a mistake. This was a team that didn’t want to be there, a manager who had no control, and a total lack of organisation, care, or basic standards. To make it even more uncomfortable, we had three security guards posted around us for no clear reason. We weren’t being loud, rude, or difficult. We were just trying to enjoy a birthday, but instead it felt like we were being watched and treated like a problem. It made the whole group uneasy. The only person who showed any decency was Marley, one of the male staff. He was polite and tried his best, and we appreciated that. But he was working in an impossible situation with zero support from the rest of the team. At the end of the night, we spoke to the manager. She gave us a discount - which, let’s be honest, was the bare minimum. But even then, she got angry and defensive when we explained what had gone wrong. No apology. No ownership. Just attitude. And that was the final straw. Management at this place is a disgrace. Whoever runs this venue needs replacing immediately. They are not fit to be running any kind of hospitality business, let alone one taking bookings for big celebrations. We left angry, disappointed, and embarrassed. What should have been a fun and memorable night turned into a complete disaster. Do not book here. Do not waste your time or money. If you care even a little bit about your event, go somewhere else.

Come to Bournemouth for the weekend with my wife and the meal stated it was gonna be a creamy sauce instead it was so sloppy and watery and didn’t taste very nice. So disappointed as I have never wrote a review before and we have eaten in one before and been happy with food.
Phil R — Google review
It's a good job the music is good and the staff are friendly. The service is diabolical. It took them an hour to bring out 10x 241 cocktails (most of which were not nice and only vaguley resembled the cocktail they were meant to be), in dribs and drabs. Not all of our food arrived. It's been 1.5 hours and we are now in discussions with management about our order. Oh and no cutlery - the linguine might be nice but difficult to know when it's stone cold by the time you get a fork. Would only return for music and super quick drinks like a pint. Everyone is complaining about it tonight. The staff are nice...that's about as far as it goes.

Very professional and friendly cocktail bar with table service, and they don't insist on charging extra for it!! That is very refreshing. Great choices of drinks, some served in very interesting bespoke containers / glasses. I love the vinyl wall, too. Great atmosphere and not bad prices.

Wow, what an afternoon tea!! ☕☕☕🍰🍰 Me and my partner decided to go and try the LevelEight Sky Bar for afternoon tea and boy they did not disappoint! Stunning venue, laid out fresh, clean and tidy always. Lovely hotel lobby with it all simply laid out with easy to follow instructions for each department of the hotel. Views aren't the best depending on what side of the hotel you are on but if on the correct side for the sun it is stunning!! 🌞🌞❤️ The food was exquisite, service was impeccable, and staff were so friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be returning! Thanks again for a wonderful experience 🙏

Just had cocktails, which were reasonably presented (expected the Hilton to be well above average), so a bit disappointing - especially for the price. Good, fast, friendly service. The view over Bournemouth, and the solent and across to the Isle of Wight is great.

We enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea at the Hilton's Sky Bar. The food was excellent and the staff very efficient indeed. The views across Bournemouth were also great. However, we were a little underwhelmed by the Sky Bar itself. We were expecting something a bit more luxurious and we felt the decor was rather plain and uninspiring. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our visit.

Excellent top tier looking sky bar in Bournemouth. It is located on floor 8 in the hilton hotel. Staff was ultra friendly and they suggested nice drinks. I reslly enjoyed the taste of their spirits snd the quality of the ingredients they use. To be honest the way how they make drinks remind me of a begginner version of the alchemist in terms of being showy but in terms of mixing stuff and achieving great flavours, they are one of the bests. Apart from the mentioned above, the views from Level8 are amazing. You can pretty much see the whole town centee without much effort, being there makes you feel at peace as well. They have quite a big drinks menu so you can always try something new and enjoy a new flavour, they also offer a few dishes to nibble on and they are very elegant and classy up there.

A nice bar to come a drink and relax. Good choice cocktail and spirits available. Prices are reasonable but of course depends what you drink. Service was good and friendly staff made the end of evening nice and the view was great too. Sunsets are great too!

I went there with a friend Saturday evening for a drink. The place looks nice but the staff were not organised at all. There was live music, a pianist, when we arrived at 8pm, which was lovely. They had a band from 9pm and that was nice as well but the it was just way too loud for such a small space. We couldnt hear each other at all thats why we left early. Also Im really disappointed as we had cocktails, the first time they charged us £27 for 2 cocktails the second time they charged us £30.38 for the same 2 cocktails. Im really disappointed of the fact that the waiter over charged us. I will make an official complaint as this should not happen. It seems once you have a drink they think they can overcharge you.
Krisztina S — Google review
Had an afternoon tea in the Hilton sky bar. First impression was good was a little annoyed they had given away out table as was running 5 mins late, but they placed us by the window on a bar table and that's was okay. The waiters appeared to be attentive initially but I did have to prompt them several time for our tea and are last pot just nether even got served to the table. The afternoon tea itself was okay they had changed the menus that week so was surprised when they brought out a very different selection to what was on the menus on line, which resulted in half our sandwiches not being eaten, if we had know there was horseradish and beef we would have asked for an alternative instead. The puddings and scones where exceptional and the scones where even warm! Overall a very enjoyable experience would consider going again but for £22 a head plus a service charge they snuck on the bill It is very expensive for what you get and the view isn't that great.

My family & I have visited The King’s Arms for occasional lunches over the past 20 years & have always enjoyed it! Today was our first time since the new management took over. The staff were friendly & attentive, checking on us regularly. The meals were tasty, portion sizes were good & the prices are great! We will definitely be returning! They have pool tables & a pub garden out the back too! Free parking, with a good sized car park! (I didn’t drive this time, but it seems you just enter your registration on the screens at the bar, good system!)

Came here for lunch yesterday and we were very pleasantly surprised. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The restaurant area was light and bright, the chairs were comfortable and the table was nice and clean. The food was way better than I expected for the price, particularly the Yorkshire puddings and the sticky toffee pudding was really good. I would definitely come again, good food at a good price, what's not to like.

The cocktails I had were very tasty and the bar staff were friendly. The decor is really nice and the walls and ceiling look hand painted. It loses a star for two reasons: 1. My friend who can't drink was asked by staff why she wasn't drinking. 2. There was a 2 for 1 cocktail deal but mocktails weren't included. This feels discriminatory and it's odd since they're cheaper to make.
Ellie J — Google review
Design is nice, but found staff a bit unprofessional. We asked for a recommendation based on favourite flavours and we did not get an advice. What I really did not like was guy being behind the bar, in barman’s area with cigarette in his mouth. Not lighted but still... Some sort of uniform would be nice. In my opinion the cocktail barman should wear shirt and vest. But it’s just my opinion. I ordered margarita at the end. I love margarita, it’s my favourite cocktail and I really don’t like saying it, but this-one was the worst I have ever had. Lovely lime sour cocktail was so sweet that I was struggling to finish it. Was like drinking lime syrup. Didn’t taste tequila at all.
Iva I — Google review
I come here last year for my bday and was really impressed so booked the same again this year. I was really disappointed and it seems to have gone downhill since my last visit. Cocktails are extremely overpriced for what you get, no garnish or anything added to the drinks. 5 of us went and all ordered different cocktails such as bramble, disco diva, bohemian raspberry and the pinacolada one. The cocktails just tasted like fruit juice with some ice. there was also no table service we had to go to the bar to order our drinks, whereas when we attended before the drinks were brought to the table. Such a shame as it used to be such a lovely bar.

Went here for my birthday celebration this Saturday (17th Sept). Booked the bottomless Brunch for £39 each, there was 6 of us. Upon arrival around 14.00 we were told we were late even though the event stated it was 13 - 16 online and on our tickets, and said we had an hour left for drinks having paid for a ticket that stated drinks included for 2 hours. We were shown to a dingy basement room that was too hot and given 3 small pizzas for 6 of us that were ordered in from another venue. The staff commented "these are cold as you're late but you can have them anyway". The entertainment was all upstairs so we just had loud music blaring and a quiz going on with no context or opportunity to join in. After complaining multiple times for almost an hour, we had our time extended for the full 2 hours to drink which honestly should've been the case from the start. It ruined the enjoyment and we struggled to pick the mood back up as we had an hour to try and make the most of the situation. It should be advertised on the website or in the T&C's that they serve drinks only between certain times and that the food is not from the building and in limited quantities. Not sure I'll be going back based on this experience. My only positive comment Is that the cocktails were nice.
Megan B — Google review
My new favourite bar, what a vibe! Absolutely love the interior and the music was on point, reminded me of being back in London. The staff were awesome, bringing so much energy to the service - especially Harry who served us a the bar. We really want to come back and try the boozy brunch!

One of my favorite breakfast/brunch spots in Bournemouth. Delicious food, delicious coffee, friendly staff, great location, and very cozy atmosphere.
Mohammad E — Google review
The concept of the menu items was nice. However, we felt that the quality of our brunch meal was rather lacklustre especially for the price you're paying. In particular, the pancakes that my other half had were quite undercooked and had a strange smell about them, which she did not really enjoy. We found the restaurant decor and lighting to be quite dark, which might not appeal to customers. The service was not too bad, although could be improved as we often saw staff talking in groups amongst themselves. Nevertheless, this place does have potential.

Me and a group of friends went to XOXO bournemouth to try their bottomless brunch for my birthday ! The food was amazing but the staff who served us made our day. They also made sure the drinks were flowing What an amazing group of staff, with a special shout-out to Andy, who went above and beyond for us all! We had a great day and I’ll definitely be returning! Thank you again and if I could give them 10 starts, I would! ☺️🫶🏽

Unfortunately I felt the restaurant was overpriced for the quality. The menu would benefit from smaller dishes that could be had a long side the pancakes. There is a definite need for more vegan options. Potentially vegan bacon or chicken to go alongside a pancakes dish. Although it was a lovely sunny day. The space felt very dark. Would be great to see more plants or bright/light decor. Small details were missing with the food, no salt and pepper on the tables. English breakfast came with bread but no butter. Pancakes felt overcooked and chewy. Staff were genuinely friendly and I feel like this place has potential! I cna imagine if you went for the bottomless brunch you wouldn't care about half the things I've listed!

Been in a couple of times now, dropped in for Brunch on a Saturday, super chilled out, staff were chatty & made us feel welcome! We shared the Huevos Rancheros & the Potato stack, plenty of food, unreal flavours. Loved that it was different do your typical brunch dish. Second time was an evening, different vibe, quality music pretty sure there was a DJ in that night. Cocktails were sick too, Tekiwi sour was a favourite. Staff were class both times, looking forward to visiting again!
