Very professional and friendly cocktail bar with table service, and they don't insist on charging extra for it!! That is very refreshing. Great choices of drinks, some served in very interesting bespoke containers / glasses. I love the vinyl wall, too. Great atmosphere and not bad prices.

Saw the bar passing by and thought we'd pop in. Izzy at the bar was incredibly attentive, welcoming, witty and entertaining and made a good night into a great night. A definite return when we visit Bournemouth again!

A local gem nestled under wooden barrels and a dive bar aesthetic with a classy twist of good music and better service. Izzy behind the bar was a darling and a diamond! Amazing cocktails ("Whiskey n stuff" is a true icon with taste, attitude and style, just like the venue 😎

Came down for a weekend in Bournemouth and spent 2 of our 3 nights in smokin aces! Amazing atmosphere and really good cocktails- notable mention to Izzy working on the bar, who was funny and attentive. Absolutely somewhere we will be returning to!

Went here for a private whisky tasting before normal opening hours. The range and quality of whisky was excellent, as was the service from the chap curating the tasting. Good value for money, too. Will definitely be back.

Came here with a stag party and we had a fantastic time. The drinks were great, music was fantastic and the lads and lasses behind the bar and even security staff were very friendly and helped us have a great time. Highly recommend a drink in this place if you are in Bournemouth. Especially when it gets livelier later in the evening!

Came in as a group of 8 during the day to get food. With the place empty we somehow all didn’t get our food even close to at the same time, mine was one of the last to come out and at that time everyone else was done as you can see from picture. Sandwich was dry - had to go to the bar to find someone to ask if they had any mustard or sauces to where I got a salty answer of “whatever’s on the table” Zero percent helpful restaurant was empty so don’t really get how it was so hard to be nice or helpful Also probably would have drank a lot more if you check on the table

I have seen many different menus here over the years but have to say the current menu is brilliant. The deals are great, the staff are friendly and the events are a fun way to spend an evening. I recommend the pub quiz night or the open mic night. The booths also have usb ports to let you charge your phones. The only reason it's not 5 star is because the toilets are downstairs so not great if you have accessibility needs

Had a brilliant time at 60 million last weekend. Went there for a date night with the most beautiful lady I could find... Food was delicious, beer was cold and atmosphere was impeccable. Will be back as soon as possible!

I had a fantastic experience thanks to Klaire at 60MPC. She truly went above and beyond to make my visit special. Klaire took the time to walk me through the menu, helping me figure out which items fit my dietary needs without making me feel rushed. Her knowledge and genuine care really stood out. On top of that, she recommended an incredible cocktail that was absolutely perfect. Klaire is a true asset to the team—warm, attentive, and exceptional at what she does!

Good food but the menu choice is a bit limited. Loved the quirky decor and atmosphere, particularly the live music down stairs. Cool outdoor area as well.

Have visited on a couple of occasions, most recently to see two bands. Only had drinks, which were fine apart from the lemonade which was flat, but it was happily exchanged for a fresh one. It's a quirky original venue, with a downstairs music area (with a very small stage). Staff helpful and friendly. Would visit again. The bands were brilliant, Jot Sloppy and For The Monks. See them if you get a chance!

Absolutely iconic place. Very eclectic and with a great atmosphere. The character of this place takes for it self. The staff are polite. A bit pricey but it's worth the visit, if you enjoy eclectic people and places. Definitely, a must go when in Bournemouth. One of the best in town.

Wow!! Phenomenal roast dinner! Definitely the best pork belly I have ever had! In fact, probably the best pork or roast I've ever had! You'd think that would be the highlight, but it was all amazing! When they say, 'proper' roast potatoes, they mean it; crispy, gnarly, and beautifully seasoned! Love the fact that the veggies are served in a skillet so they stay hot and the bottom has been kissed with all the cheesy gooeyness from the cauli! I just couldn't stop eating! If you like smoked meat and you like roast dinner, you HAVE to come here!!! Oh, and the staff, atmosphere and decor is top notch too!

We have just left our first visit to Chaplin’s and it was bloody amazing! Firstly I was being an annoying customer ahead of the booking by amending the amount of diner's attending, but always had the most loveliest replies! When we arrived I was amazed by the decor and the quirkiness of the place, it’s just stunning! And then the incredible service, I didn’t catch the name of the waitress but she was wonderful, along with Christian it was impeccable service, they went above and beyond. And finally the food, firstly such good value for money and secondly OMG IT WAS SOOO GOOD! Best roast ever! I am now the biggest fan. Thank you x

I went to this place in Bournemouth for a holidays break and it was so much fun. People and door man very friendly. High positive energy all around. The door man were not funny about clothes wear, you can get in with trainers, no fuzz. I had a great time! I recomend. Prices very affordable.

Great club with multiple rooms with different music genres. It was very lively downstairs. Drinks were a little pricey. The ball pit is a fun addition. Entry was £10 per person.

​I honestly don't know where to begin with the shambles that is Bar So. If I could give it zero stars, I would. This place is an absolute stain on Bournemouth's nightlife and I feel compelled to warn everyone to save their money and their dignity by going literally anywhere else. ​First, let's talk about the security. The bouncers on the door are on the most ridiculous power trip I have ever witnessed. From the moment we queued, they were aggressively sizing everyone up, clearly looking for any excuse to turn people away. My friend, who was dressed smarter than anyone, was singled out and interrogated about his shoes for no reason. The whole process felt less about safety and more about intimidation and discrimination. It was clear they were creating a hostile atmosphere before we even stepped foot inside. ​Once you get past the goon squad, you're greeted with the second insult of the night: the prices. "Rip-off" doesn't even begin to cover it. The drinks are outrageously expensive, even for a city centre bar. They are charging premium prices for what is, at best, a mediocre experience with poorly made drinks. Expect to pay an extortionate amount for a single spirit and mixer. ​Then there’s the service, or rather, the complete lack of it. The bar staff looked utterly miserable and were incredibly slow. Trying to get served felt like an eternity, and when you finally did, there was no smile, no "please" or "thank you" – just a sullen attitude as they snatched your money. ​The final straw was witnessing the security's behaviour inside. A minor, accidental stumble near the dance floor was met with an immediate and disproportionately aggressive response from a bouncer who seemed desperate for a confrontation. Instead of de-escalating, they manhandled the person involved, treating them like a criminal. We tried to speak to a manager about the situation, and they were completely dismissive and utterly useless, clearly siding with their aggressive staff. ​In summary, Bar So is a toxic combination of: ​Discriminatory and hostile security with a Napoleon complex. ​Eye-watering prices for basic drinks. ​Appalling customer service from staff who clearly hate their jobs. ​A management team that has zero interest in customer safety or satisfaction. ​Do yourself a favour: avoid this place at all costs. It ruined our night, and I wouldn't wish the experience on my worst enemy. Bournemouth has plenty of fantastic bars where you will be treated with respect. This is not one of them.

Security, Blatant Discrimination, and a Total Rip-Off If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Our experience at BarSo was utterly disgusting, and I urge anyone, especially people of colour, to avoid this place at all costs. The problems started before we even got in. The security staff are on a massive power trip, acting aggressive and intimidating from the outset. We were a diverse group of friends, smartly dressed, out to celebrate a birthday. While waiting, we witnessed the bouncers enforce their "dress code" with what can only be described as a blatant double standard. They turned away several groups of Black and Asian men for wearing "the wrong trainers" or "not fitting the vibe," only to let in groups of white lads wearing the exact same or even scruffier shoes moments later. The prejudice was so obvious it was sickening. It left a sour taste in our mouths before we'd even stepped inside. After that hostile welcome, they had the nerve to charge an extortionate £15 entry fee per person. To pay that much money just to enter a place that clearly has a problem with diversity is an insult. Hoping things might improve, we went inside. Unsurprisingly, they didn't. The drinks are a complete scam. I paid nearly £16 for a cocktail that was 90% ice and tasted like watered-down juice. A single spirit and mixer was over £10. It’s robbery, pure and simple. The whole time, the aggressive security guards lurk around inside, staring people down and creating a tense, toxic atmosphere instead of making you feel safe. It feels less like a nightclub and more like a high-security prison where you have to pay a fortune for the privilege of being there. This establishment is a disgrace. The discriminatory door policy, the intimidating security, and the ridiculously overpriced entry and drinks make for an awful experience. A venue's true colours are shown at its door, and BarSo's are ugly. Spend your hard-earned money somewhere in Bournemouth that actually welcomes everyone and doesn't try to rip you off at every turn. We will never be back.

In Bournemouth for the Bank Holiday weekend. Found SO cocktail bar. Having 2 for 1 cocktails and the cocktails are better than any we've had in London. Had Negronis and Margaritas and they are delicious! Early evening and the place is quiet but lovely friendly staff.

BEWARE. This place is not what it used to be. Lived in Bournemouth my whole life, came back to visit family and thought I’d go out with my partner on a Saturday night. Welll this place is an absolute rip off. The club has dramatically gone down hill. The company should be ashamed to be charging the amount they are charging for what this place represents. It’s soo trashy. And the staff on the door are so unprofessional. Would never go again. Apparently this is the best place to go these days…Well if this is the best place then wow Bournemouths night scene is massively gone down hill!

I have been here many times and Bar So is my favourite cocktail bar in Bournemouth . Every cocktail I’ve had, has been perfect . I went once for food and it is very very average . Squid was ok, the nori taco was unsatisfying and the chicken karage and takoyaki balls were ok too. Despite the food , the bar itself and the drinks are great . They’ve often got 2-4-1 going on too which is a bonus .

Amazing venue. Came for a drum and bass evening. Nice lighting behind the bar. The sound system was awesome, though maybe a tad quieter than would of liked for this kind of event. Seating plentiful, drinks decently priced. Not overly crowded (think because of another event on). Friendly staff, quick entry. Toilets always had toilet roll!, always a cubicle free. Would come here again for an event!

I went here for a work party. £6 for a can of cider was a bit much. The people behind the bar were doing their best, but there was always a several minute (5-10) wait. There are step ups on the side and one has no lights on it. I didn't see it and tripped, falling like a tree to the floor and messed up my knee. That said they seemed to be pumping in fresh air, which was great. There were plenty of places to sit and really great dancing. So pros and cons.

Only went in evening for a concert by Poole College music students. Perfect venue, although seating wasn't so good - but then again, why should a nightclub have seating?

Coming from a gig lover who enjoys big venues, this venue is an incredible venue even from its smallness! It’s a great venue with an incredible atmosphere. They’ve done great with dividing the bar and the seating area with the open floor to dance, mosh/circle pit and sing along to the songs. Their technical system (lights & sound etc…) adapts really well for different genres such as, rave music and rock. Really enjoyed my time here and loved the band (The Wonder Years if you wanted to know). I hope to come here again and enjoy it again! Overall a great venue! Thank you!

Went yesterday for Afternoon Tea. The staff were most excellent, especially our server. Great value for money at £15 a head. My favourite part without a doubt was the scones. The atmosphere was very relaxed, great views when sat by the window and is disabled friendly with an accessible disabled toilet. Will definitely go there again.

Lovely experience, I went with my friend in Saturday afternoon. Chris was excellent and very attentive even when he came late after our time was finished he asked for more drinks. Went for bottomless brunch. From the moment we walked in we were greeted by Chris who was also our server for our table. I cannot praise him enough. He was so friendly and welcoming, he made sure we had drinks, got out food order really quick and the food was good. Great choice available for the price you pay and a great choice of drinks too included. Thankyou again to Chris and all the other staff we interacted with, made our afternoon a great one! We even ended up back there later when they had a dj.

Just had a bottomless brunch served by the lovely Chris. He made sure we were never out of a drink and that we happy at all times! Drinks were fab, food was great and Chris was a legend!

We booked the deluxe cocktail making package and Billy and Beth were excellent. We were a party of 5 for a 21st birthday. We had a blast, making the cocktails and throwing the ice (a Beatone tradition). You get to be behind the bar and actually mix your own cocktails from a choice of around 10. We had a Bellini on arrival, 2 cocktails and 1 shot. Cowboy hat for The birthday girl, medal, and sunglasses, fabulous and fun and would definitely recommend for a celebration.

We were on a short break to Bournemouth and I promised my hubby a Bueno cocktail....when we arrived at the bar they had no ice cream for the much anticipated drink! However after a short jokey conversation with the very helpful barman we sat down with another (delicious) choice of drink. Next we knew Billy came over with 2 Bueno drinks having gone out for the ice cream. Absolutely brilliant customer service. Thank you Billy...you made our day!!

I was served by John (eventually after he looked up from his phone) and he was really rude, only focused on hitting on the young men next to me, as a woman I thought this would be a safe environment but he made me feel otherwise, I have to say the other members of staff that served me afterwards were all lovely however

If you decide to go to this place pay a maximum attention for the payments. I was alone there and bought 5 drinks throughout the evening not checking when paying to find out that every bar tender charged me a different price for each (same) drink. Plus, one of the purchases I was charged double of one drink. The next day they were open, I came in spoke to the manager and he could not find (convenient) my transaction or myself on their video cameras. He said he was going to check thoroughly and come back to me but that never happened. After having spoken to a mate who works at next door bar, he said that this was kind of normal there.

ALT, formally Sound Circus , formally Villa and I have had many a night together over the years ... its sticky, a little trashy always has been part of the charm ... the toilets could be better but that's always been the case ( got to miss the chalkboard walls ) ... the drinks are weak but always have been they were once insanely cheap which sort of compensated but prices have now caught up with town. The bar staff have always been awesome , relaxed and fun. Used to go 3 x weekly as a student and through my 20s as always a good night. Been a few times over the last couple of years and not stayed ... Sound Circus was a thriving community and the place had the best music going you would struggle to be off the floor during the night but sadly numbers dwindeled for abit and big changes occured. The music became decidedly unalternative to attract a wider range of students and requests which would and have filled any floor are thrown away. Bear Cave is where it's at now for an alternative night with live and alt music. I'd love to see Alt / Sound Circus revive itself embracing the old and new becoming a hub for the local alternative community again.

Went here for a karaoke night for my wife's birthday - got in touch a few days before as there were two dozen of us, so wanted to make sure there was space. Super accommodating venue, the staff were lovely, and the karaoke facilities were great. Big library of songs, and accurate instrumental backing - no mid-90s midi files in sight.

You could literally go to Alt in your PJs or your best night out gear. Everyone is welcoming, no matter how much they’ve drunk and the alcohol is cheap and with lots of variation. Song request station, water fountain and a big dance floor/smoking area. There is also a cat that has free range of the place so thats nice.

Went in for my partners birthday, took him for food and drinks and it was fab! Great service, great drinks and recommendations. Was still very quiet when we were in there, I think we were 1 of 3 tables sat down but atmosphere was still good and waiters very friendly! Deffo recommend!

Was a quieter evening when we went. Service was good and everything came within a reasonable time. The atmosphere was still lovely and the lady that served us was so amazing and friendly!! The corn ribs were the BEST, honestly wasn’t expecting them to be so good but they were one of our favourites. Would recommend!!

Amazing place. My friend and I chose Ojo Rojo because she needs a decent gluten free me u with plenty of options. We had not visited here before but will definitely be back again. We loved the ambience, look of the place, lovely warm welcome. Great menu choices for food and drinks. We had mulled wine 🍷 on the advice of the server. Every dish was gorgeous and as he predicted we didn't eat it all and took a doggie bag home. The guys that served us were welcoming, friendly and fun.

Came here for dinner on a visit to Bournemouth, it's a great cool spot, staff were polite and friendly from the point we arrived to when we left, good choice of dishes, everything tasted great, and the happy hour cocktails were also fantastic! Amazing food and service! Visited about 6 on a Sunday evening, and it was quiet. We ordered the chicken enchiladas to share, the chicken and the duck tacos, and 2 tapas, which were the hasselback chorizo and the rojo rice.

Really wanted to love this place. I love mexican food and tapas and this place looked amazing. Unfortunately my high expectations were too high. Half of of the food we had was very bland and some of it was very small. We did like the duck, the chorizo and potatoes though. We'd only order these if we went again We tried 2 of your cocktails and they we really bitter. they're a different type of cocktail compared to most other places. They look amazing but they're very marmite Service was a mixed bag. The Swedish/European guy was amazing but the other guy with the dark hair wasn't. We had to ask him twice for some garlic sauce and didn't know how to process out gift card

While it's temporarily smaller than it was before the food is still as good as I remember - but watch this space as I overheard the exciting new plans and I can't wait!

Messaged them on Monday morning to get a booking in for my birthday lunch. They have replied within a minute confirming it. When we got the we have been served quickly. The food is great and their £2.99 meal deal is great. We have got the food in the picture attached and paid £12. Great value.

We booked a masterclass for cocktail making with food beforehand and I cannot recommend the experience enough. First of all, the team handling bookings is fantastic. Great communication, very clear and simple, and made a very smooth journey as a customer. Secondly, all the staff within the bar/food area were attentive, polite, great sense of humour and positive. The food was good, totally fine for the price, and good portions so thank you to the kitchen staff as well. Thirdly, the masterclass. WOW. In particular, Jayden Liv and Georgia. Incredible team who were lovely to us all night and really brought the sparkle to the whole evening. We had games, cocktails, shots, fantastic music! And I loved the way the staff just got involved and had fun with us (well I hope you guys did!). I would definitely recommend to any parties or anyone who just wants to do something different for an evening. The price if anything I felt was underselling for what we got. Friday night and Sunday Drag Brunch: on Friday night we were happily surprised with the security. Everyone entering was throughly checked for anything dangerous. The barman in the picture was amazing at his job and very attentive. He served everyone in the right order and not just the loudest person first. Sunday drag brunch: amazing bottomless cocktails and Prosecco and delicious food. And the waiters all dressed up and super friendly, always smiling and having a good time with us!

I have booked an afternoon tea for my husband as part of our anniversary present and our experience was absolutely amazing. Solomon has been really helpful as we were not sure of our programme so we could confirm time on the day. Jim was looking after us really well, making amazing cocktails and including our 6 months old daughter in all conversations. Both Solomon and Jim were absolutely amazing going above and beyond to make sure we have the best experience from the start to the end. Food & desserts were really tasty and we will definitely return (without our little one) to make sure we can try all the cocktails 😊

As usual revs didn't disappoint. We booked for a hen party of 13 with cocktail making and set menu and it was such good value for money. Great music and the food was pretty good for what it was. The cocktail making class was fun, we made loads of drinks and the bar man catered for the people driving last minute as it hadn't been communicated to him. All round a good night. They have a photobooth (card only) and good DJ to get your night started. Definitely recommend for a fun start to your night

If google would allow me to leave NO stars then that is what my rating of this joint would be. So where do I start, let's start with the fact it was a booking for 18 people and yes we where seated in 6's as per the government guidelines, yet we where stopped from dancing due to the government guidelines! What we didn't expect was the pure lack of hygiene the Revolution Bar offers. From the smell of Urine and Vomit on our sofas to the dirty glasses we were presented with and the food which I would not have offered either of my French bulldogs! Below you will find pictures of the glass of my first vodka and cranberry set to turn anyone stomach and quite frankly ruined my evening as I didn't want to eat or drink in a place that has less hygiene then a McDonalds toilet on a SATURDAY! I wouldn't recommend this place nor would I return to any of their chains. This has been reported to the council to investigate!

Me and my partner love the Stable in Bournemouth. We come here easily once a month if not twice😂🫣 The service is always impeccable and the food is amazing. We go for the nachos which have never disappointed since our first date. Even after our awful experience at the Stable in Winchester, we know we are safe in the hands of the staff and chefs here in Bournemouth.

The food at this restaurant is really not bad but ordering via a qr code and paying per order - so I got three receipts - gave me visions of a dystopian society where people are afraid to communicate with each other. And then they also have the audacity to ask for a tip with every order. For what? There is no service other than bringing your order to the table. This is a reason for me not to visit this restaurant again. Which is a shame because they have a good selection of ciders.

One of the best pizzas I had in Bournemouth was definitely here. They make decent sourdough pizzas, and I loved their Hawaiian one. You should definitely try their classic cocktails as well. Service staff was extremely polite and fast. It is a very stylish place and deserves all the hype it gets.

Well what a little gem I found here. On a night out with my daughter to explore Bournemouth we stumbled across the four horseman and seeing as it was the name of some serious hardcore producers from the 90s, and the sign said "90s & 2000s" it was rude not to check it out. And my, I was in for a treat. While upstsirs was the usual super fast and soulless jump up, downstairs in the tiny basement club they were playing some of the finest hardcore and jungle I've heard of in a long time - and I go out in London regularly. This was actually a send off for the death of someone who was an old school teacher - RIP Dennis - and we were very lucky to be part of that. DJ John and the other djs played tunes I hadn't heard of for a good while, and they just kept on rolling. What was supposed to be one stock turned into to staying the 3 hours until it closed at 2. Lovely people, good value drinks, great atmosphere and PHENOMENAL music. I hope they do more events with that music, as they will be very popular in my circle indeed. In fact, we have done djs in the group with a serious selecttion if hardcore and jungle who could assist....

Excellent vibe, friendly staff, and the best crispy chicken burger in Bournemouth!! Great selection of beverages and unique shots. Went for a stop off on a stag do, wasn't disappointed. Limited seating but well worth a trip!!

Interesting place, friendly staff and nice music, however the volume was too high to have a conversation, the place needs a good clean and although we might not be the right age level the food was definitely not 5 stars, it's ok if your hungry and the concept of 3 small portions for £10 is great, but the food is not the reason to come. There are many drinks options and it's really nice place with a lovely atmosphere.

In a town with very few independent pubs this is a great, 90s-inspired retro bar and kitchen. I loved the alternative decor, especially the upstairs murals. Friendly staff and a huge selection of craft beers, ciders and spirits. Would love to be here when live music starts up again!

A delightful little pub on outskirts of Bournemouth town centre. Quirky and cosy interior and a fabulous range of spirits especially rums and gins. Only negative was the very small range of real ales, especially pale available on tap. Although plenty in cans.

Absolutely amazing!! I had come out on Saturday celebrating a friends birthday and got a VIP table as it worked out cheaper for us to split than by drinks individually (win win) and it was amazing. The service was amazing Sophie and Shannon made sure we were looked after and our mixers never got too low. Thank you Cameo!!! We will definitely be back to spend another birthday here!!!!

My first night out here I had a bit too much to drink and took myself to the toilet to be sick, causing no disruption. I understand it is policy to remove anyone who is ill in the club, however I was treated with such disrespect. Whilst in the toilet I had a man loudly banging on the door, shouting at me to get out, not stopping until I did so. I was extremely scared, and never once asked if I was okay and was not well assisted to medical, just told to follow them. This was a vulnerable moment for me, made much worse by the staff. In a place where bags are not checked, and pockets are not patted down, I could have easily been spiked or worse, however there was no regard for my wellbeing, I was simply shouted at to leave the toilet, given some water, and chucked out to the street.

I booked a VIP package for my girlfriend's birthday and was extremely happy with the entire night Harry was very helpful in booking it A blonde lady (didn't get her name) was awesome in getting us seated, comfortable and drinks/mixers on the table and anything we wanted The other staff were brilliant too Confetti and sparklers were provided at the start of the night, which was a nice, unexpected, touch The music was varied and banging! 10 out of 10

Went here last Friday night and to say the least I was absolutely disappointed! Their main selling point use to be 5 different rooms, now god knows what it is, with only two rooms being open and the rest ‘walled off’. I think the biggest disappointment was vinyl being shut off forever, with no warning or anything, so when I went in expecting it to be the same as normal it wasn’t. The music is just sooo random in main room and it needs to probably stick to one instead of changing every 15 mins, it’s more bipolar then Ian from shameless. I probably won’t be returning again as there’s not much point as the vibe isn’t the same.

Home before 10 event .. took a while to force the body clock to believe it was kinda midnight when it was only 6pm ! A few bevvies and you get there :) .. Really friendly crowd ... Great music. And... Yes ... Your home before 10pm !

Unfortunately I’m sad to say that I was not happy with the security management in this venue as there was no action taken in the event that occurred on the 29/01/22 Group of young men in bio through beer and alcohol over me and two other people one of them a young girl from the balcony and continued to use aggressive and disrespectful behavior. After speaking to one of the door men they mentioned they would give them a warning even though they continued to do so on others after and by my eyes as a witness I saw no door man or staff approach them to negotiate. I’m truly gutted to write such a low grade review over the fact that I was treated like a second class citizen compared to a five pound entry vip. I was not drunk at the scene as I do not drink. I hope this comment shows doormen they need to be stricter with young men as this would put off many clients as I was looking into brining a stag here in the near future but now I think I will change my mind. These pictures are to show the men that behaved like animals and are clearly not ready to go into these type of clubs and have respect for anyone👎

Interesting venue as it is refurbished from a church. Only starts to get busy right before 11pm so no need to get there too early. Reasonable entry ticket (£5 before 11pm) and drinks. Good atmosphere, slightly disappointed by choice of music but it was still a fun night out!

If i could give 0 stars i would. I have just spent 2 hours in this club listening to the worst music, and fending off the worst people. 1) The general clientele are awful! 2) The music was atrocious. After watching the Dj for several songs he clearly didn't care about what the crowd wanted. Song after song he would start with an epic tune and within 20s would poorly mix it into some horrendous beat that not even the standard club goers were dancing to. Picture attached of crowd essentially standing silent. Not how a club should be . I have never seen a dance floor so quiet from a lack of dancing. The Dj needs to be fired. Go to popworld if you want a good night out. The Djs there care about what their crowds want. Do not go here!

Will never be returning or recommending halo to anyone. Such an awful experience with extremely aggressive and rude security staff for no reason. Very disappointing as I missed the act I had paid for. One particular security person was lovely and throughout the whole night was amazing at keeping us safe and being helpful however, the rest of them need sufficient training and respect for their guests.

My phone got stolen, couldn’t find it for about an hour, security then “found it” after throwing up a fuss and refused to tell me where it was found telling me me “not to worry about it” Two girls seemed too have robbed it after being overly friendly. The security guards backed up the two girls until I got CCTV and one of the security guards said she worked there and then the manager said she did not. I highly recommend you hold on to your valuables tightly unless you want to be robbed!

Halo has the potential to be a great nightclub. The venue is cool, soundsystem while not being loud is clear and visual displays and extras are great. DJ however for the night I went too was terrible. Constant chopping of tunes and mixing styles to the point the set had no rhythm or style. It ended up feeling like a school disco. So improve the music and this place will be great.

What a scam! This bar claims to offer a "stock market experience" but it's a complete fabrication. At 1:24 AM, there are about 10 people here - I've attached a picture to prove it. The ambiance is dead, and the place feels like a ghost town. If you're looking for excitement and a unique experience, steer clear of this place. It's nothing but false advertising and a total letdown. Avoid at all costs!

Very expensive for one shot tequila £4.5 not evn gave us a lime and salt for that. Everyone got kicked out at 1am cus apparently no one is buying drinks. Not worth it at all at least should refund half if they planned to kick everyone out. Never going back again. The worst club in Bournemouth ive ever been.

Me and my girlfriends came on Friday and booked a table. When we came in I told them I had a table as they were scanning the barcode and they looked confused and almost didn’t know what to do. They told me to go in and I asked where my table is or if anyone will be assisting us. They just told me to go and find someone else there was literally no one so I just went up to the bar and was finally assisted. When we wanted to go out for a fag I asked if one of the security guys could watch our table to make sure no dodgy person comes and messes with our drink or anything, we were out for about 10 minutes and when we came back no one was there. When the event finishes I bought this up to one of the security guys and he said “it’s not my job”, if I was told this at the time asked I would have stayed at the table myself instead of being put in potential danger. I just genuinely wanted to bring this up to him and talk about it and he walked me out and shut the door on my face 😂😂😂 just imagine if this was his daughter or girlfriend I wonder if they got treated like this how he would react… as girls we are genuinely in constant danger of being spiked as it is and if we go into a venue I expect the security to give some form of shit about ensuring that the people there are safe to enjoy their night. The tap in the ladies also didn’t work. I have never put a negative review up in my life but this time I feel like it is needed, and if it wasn’t for that guy to say it’s not his job to literally be a security and shut the door in my face I wouldn’t have felt the need to but that’s just wild 😂 never experienced this before girls can’t even rely on security to be safe on nights out haha.

Never had food went there on a Monday night never been there before and have never given a google review…. Got there at 10pm had no issue went for a cigarette then they said I would not be let back in because apparently I was too drunk even though bouncer was chatting up some ‘bird’ saying to go to another club afterwards, appalling service…. The bouncer himself was drunk and on the phone constantly to go to club cameo to whoever he was with on the phone too…. Appalling service, never have given a review before and that’s saying something…. Avoid at all costs…..

Had a brilliant night on 2nd August at a dnb event. The head line dj wasn't the style of dnb that my partner and I like so we left soon after he came on but the local djs were awesome. The event was well attended so great atmosphere. The door staff were friendly and did a good job.

Although the actual venue and music is nice, my friends and I decided to go on a saturday night at around midnight and there was only about 10 people overall, never seen an emptier nightclub. We stayed around 20 minutes but after seeing it wasn't filling up with any more people, decided to leave. Waste of money and time :(

came in for an event night and the capacity was way over, you could barely move. it was so hot it made my mother in law who was completely sober throwing up. people were getting taken out for passing out and the capacity should’ve been cut off hours before it was. we were also massively overcharged for drinks and water

Two years on and still my favourite place to dine, there’s so many reasons I’m always here weekly. Firstly the staff are amazing, friendly, professional & always been greeted with a smile and the food consistently tastes really good. I’ve tried a lot and they’re always adding new stuff to the menu too (the chef & his teams are the best locally). A special thanks to Abby & Kaitlin for taking the time to understand my new allergies today due to medication and double checking ingredients for me. Also a big thank you Pedro & Roberto for having me as a local customer.

This was a very positive experience. Location, drinks and serving staff made you feel like it was the place to be! An old guy troubled us at our table and we had difficulty shifting him, but a young member of staff gently moved him on. He was polite about it, so we reflected his actions in the tip!

I can't give it five stars because I did not eat there. Fair selection of drinks and excellent, friendly service. The beachfront location is a wow! We could have sat there all day. Lovely vibe about the place and I should imagine that it transforms into a lovely evening hangout.

Just popped in for a drink and watch the world go by and have a small lunch. We were seated straight away. Had a small pizza style garlic bread and a pint of cider. The outside is dog friendly too.

Can’t go wrong with beach front property , or so I thought. Kitchen staff look professional and produce good , if not spectacular food. But front of house look lost and untrained, “Hi guys” & random student clothing. Maybe that is for the surfer / student vibe; but it doesn’t match the prices. No greeter when you enter, tired looking menus. Overall good, but could do better.

Great restaurant by the front. Lovely breakfast looking out over the sea in the sun. Not to busy as it had been raining earlier. Staff were really good, we felt very welcome.

We have always loved The Libertine but love it even more after its fabulous face lift! It is the hub of Westbourne, classy pub with a London Vibe! The food is scummy and Linda who looked after us is a one off!! Professional but such a laugh !! Love you Linda !! We are in there every week and we consistently get a warm welcome, great service and brilliant food, the homemade sausage rolls are to die for !! We are so lucky to have such a gem on our doorstep, thank you team Libertine xx

Top notch refurb. Absolutely nailed it. 🤩👌🏼 Safe to say the Libertine in Westbourne is now the best pub in town to enjoy wholesome social fun. 🎲🍺 Lush upgrade was carried out recently in October 2024 their staff advised. It has a chilled vibe with low ambient volume music. The spacious venue is hooligan-free as it was claimed they will only show occasional rugby but next to no soccer, with screens being otherwise kept covered up. 😌🍽️ Great choice of craft beers with varied interesting menu. Saturday afternoon into evening session spent enjoying uninterrupted board games with delicious meal among friends gives it my highest seal of approval. 🏆🥇

Lunch time visit. We arrived early but Holly, our waitress seated us straight away. Good selection of food and drink. I had the seafood chowder, which was delicious and other members of the group had the cassoulet and lamb shank, also good. Holly was fantastic throughout and deserves a 5* rating. She answered all our questions and knew what food and drink was on offer. We asked for a couple of extras, which she dealt with straight away. It was busy but she gave us just the right amount of attention. She is a credit to your staff.

A big call, but this was the best rump steak I've ever had. Cooked rare, it was perfect. A great cut of meat, well seasoned, caramelised on the edges, that slightly crispy salty perfection with a soft centre. I'm almost scared to return in case I spoil the memory. Helpful and friendly staff 👌 thsnk you.

Came for lunch on Saturday afternoon, the food was delicious! I had the sausage and mash and it was so tasty and also gluten free!!! They offer a large gluten free menu which has a wide variety of options. The drink selection is also very good. Big thanks to Abi and Mikey for looking after us! Will definitely be back

Booked the Forge for a party for 20 people. We ordered the set menu which was delicious. Rory looked after us superbly on the day.

Went in a few time, very clean, drinks cheaper than our hotel, good selection of lagers and ale,would recommend a visit if you are in Bournemouth.

We got two tenneesees burger meals and chicken strips and loaded fries. The burgers were amazing, the loaded fries however, were burned, and the bacon was horrible. Besides that the view was very nice and we enjoyed our drinks.

Meal and a Punk IPA for £11.99, excellent value for money. Naan a little tough on the edges, main dish more sauce than substance, poppadom fine.

I come here weekly for either breakfast or a meal. Ordering on the app is very convenient, and food normally arrives within 5- 10 mins. The food is always lovely and I've never had an issue. Though once my toast was burnt, and the staff were super helpful and replaced it for me with no issues. It's incredible value for money, and you can get a breakfast and unlimited coffee for about £6. The cocktails are lovely, and all the alcoholic drinks are probably the lowest prices you will find for a pub or restaurant. The meals have all been tasty, and cheap. The food quality is 10/10 considering the low pricing. The staff are always there to help, and are very friendly. It's a good atmosphere. Sometimes though you get the odd customer causing an issue or a scene, and the staff always deal with this promptly. It's in a great location, and the beer garden upstairs is like a hidden gem. If you haven't been upstairs to the beer garden I totally recommend it, it's lovely. I love the moon in the square, and would definitely recommend it.

I’ve visited The Moon in the Square a few times this summer and have always had a great experience. The staff are cheerful and welcoming, which really adds to the atmosphere. What I’d especially like to point out is how clean everything is. The toilets are consistently spotless, the tables are always tidy, and the whole place feels well looked after. It really makes me want to come back again and again.

Well what can I say, except its exactly what you would expect from a Wetherspoons: The food was good and good value and arrived quickly Beer was cheap. Good choice of real Ale. Staff were friendly. One knew about the buildings history when asked. It was busy and a bit noisy, but not too noisy. It does what it says on the tin.

Very disappointed with this Wetherspoon location. This was by far the worst food I’ve had at any Wetherspoon restaurant. The Ramen Noodle Bowl was completely tasteless — just a bland pile of noodles with barely anything else in it. The *Spicy Chicken Pizza* had decent flavour, but the base was severely undercooked and paper-thin. Wetherspoon usually offers decent food for the price, but this visit was a huge letdown. Won’t be returning to this branch anytime soon.

It was my first time in Bournemouth and I'd ended up very sun kissed and wanted to avoid getting fish and chips at the seaside. I didn't find it easy to stumble upon a place in the town centre, but my friend looked on Google Maps and our tired legs brought us here and what a treat. Everything was great - I'm just a tough cookie to give a 5!

Had dinner at the Cosy Club in Bournemouth with my girlfriend (and our small dog, which was a big plus — they’re pet friendly!). First impressions were great: the place has a really stylish vibe with funky decor and a lively but relaxed atmosphere. Definitely one of those spots where you notice the little touches. The staff were attentive without being over the top, which kept everything easygoing. I went for the cod and chips, and it was a nice twist on the classic — instead of a heavy batter, it came in a lighter breadcrumb-style coating on a big, chunky fillet. Tasted fresh and worked really well. All in all, it was a charming and relaxed experience. A good mix of great food, friendly service, and a fun setting — exactly the kind of place you want for a laid-back evening out.

Absolutely amazing every time we been there. Working my way down to the huge cocktail list and tiramisu is my favourite so far. Will definitely come back.

We had our wedding reception on the private third floor of the Cosy Club in Bournemouth. Everyone commented how lovely the atmosphere was and how amazing the food was. The service was good as they were looking after 20 of us. We had the top floor booked between 12-5 and arrived about 1pm. We had our own private bar and toilets and the undercover deck area which is lovely. They have vegetarian and vegan options as well as options for those who have food allergies. We highly recommend the Cosy Club for private hire events. Please note photography is by Emma Rolfe.

We had the cosy eggs and added the hash browns and some bacon and mushrooms, which extraordinarily good! The staff were super friendly and attentive. The setting is unique and elegant. Word of advice, order double the hash browns, because they are amazing!

Just had a lovely meal here with a group, and overall, it was really enjoyable! The Malvani Chicken Curry was spot on—great taste and quality. The service was excellent and the atmosphere made it even better. My only slight letdown was the 6oz Flat Iron Steak—it could've used a bigger portion and value for money didn't quite hit the mark. The drinks, especially the Amaretto Sour, were fantastic, so I'd definitely come back for that!

Perfect combination of sit-down restaurant and bar. The staff are very kind and helpful, and he food is delicious. In fact we went back a day later because we loved the atmosphere. Just sat there reading a book on a comfy couch and enjoying drinks and food.

Arrived for Sunday lunch, it's a busy place but managed to find a table, 1 turkey roast, 1 turkey & beef roast, 2 drinks, 2 deserts just under £55, one of the drinks a passion fruit spritz cocktail, as it was flat and not very nice the bar staff changed. With the turkey roast you get 2 slices of turkey and some very nice veg, with the turkey & beef a slice of each, for me the beef was a bit fatty. Both deserts were lovely with proper custard. Overall really quite nice perhaps the only observation I'd make is the gravy, cauliflower, cranberry jelly & horseradish all came in ramekins served on the plate which took up a bit of room on the plate.

Had Christmas lunch today. Food was superb and beautifully presented. Excellent value for money for three courses plus a hot drink and mince pie at the end. You could even have a specialty coffee or a hot chocolate, not just a regular tea or filter coffee. Would 100% recommend this place. Staff were friendly and jolly and very welcoming. Also did festive cocktails and dogs were welcome.

I hold a coffee morning here once a week and today as it was Good Friday Jo the landlady came out with hot crossed buns for all of us . Such a lovely surprise and very nice . Thank you so much . Loved our stay. My second visit and wasn't disappointed. We stayed for two nights, rooms clean, lovely comfy beds, and hosts are amazing. We dined in the bar and restaurant, fun and busy atmosphere. The food was yummy and super value! The location is spot on. Overall a fabulous place to stay.

A warm and friendly greeting awaits. I go to this place regularly whether to meet up with friends, join in with the quiz or have a meal. Great service and on the coast overlooking sea views.

Watery and tasteless red pepper houmous starter. Great chicken schnitzel and beef burger for mains. Booked in advance, added a note to say it was a 21st birthday lunch. Not one comment from the staff. Overall: disappointed

I was disappointed today. The soup came warm so we sent it back but it came back warm again. We then changed our starters to the chicken strips which were good. I ordered sausages with creamy mash for my main. The sausages were anaemic looking and not brown and the mash looked like it had been put in the oven to keep warm and had a crust around it. Or they ran out of mash and scooped out a jacket potatoe. I don’t think I should have had to pay for my main course to be honest but waiter said that the chef said they will try and do better next time.

The Larderhouse focuses on locally sourced food and drink. The IPA, for example, came from a brewery near Salisbury. We had the beef, which was served with a variety of vegetables. Instead of a traditional Yorkshire pudding, they offered a bone marrow and parsley bread pudding. It wasn’t really to our taste, but that’s purely a personal preference. Everything else was excellent, and the chocolate tahini pudding was superb. The staff were all very helpful. We would definitely return.

Good food and great service! The bacon belly, which apparently was made of beef belly, was to die for! However, the starters were ok. Cheese was regular, but the wine soaked grapes were strong (we loved it). Risotto was a bit dry and uncooked inside. Also, staff need to do more research or training on wine pairing. 😛

Most incredible atmosphere, vibes and the friendliest of staff! Have come in here before for a wine or a cocktail (really delicious, the servers always give amazing recommendations) but we decided to come for a roast dinner and it did not disappoint! For three, we went with the 1/2 roast chicken, the roasted vegetables, runner beans and cauliflower cheese. Everything was super delicious and it all worked really well together. The waitress (whose name I’ve annoyingly forgotten) was really helpful with explain dish sizes and what she thought would work for our party size and also what goes well together. Would definitely recommend!

Had the Sunday roast at The Larder House and it was banging! Meat was cooked perfectly, roasties were crispy, and loads of proper gravy. Great vibes and really friendly staff

An amazing venue to socialise eat and drink well. Wine choice and guidance is exceptional. The food is always amazing again excellent recommendations. Sunday roast to die for generous portions well presented. Open kitchen generates the most amazing smells. Will visit at any opportunity to get the warmest of welcome and the most amazingly prepared delicious food served by gorgeous people

A really wonderful and quirky place. The food is a unique and delicious experience, that makes going out to eat something worthwhile and memorable. The service was fantastic, the chef taking the time out to explain some of the story behind the food which he butchered and cooked himself. And the service from Poppy who looked after us all evening was fantastic. She was dedicated and energetic and made sure we had a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend.

We had the most brilliant meal last night - we had been recommended The Larder House by a friend and it exceeded all expectations! We had the most incredible food, great service and delicious cocktails. This will now be a firm favourite and we can't wait to try the infamous Sunday roast next time!

Very quiet on the night I visited. I asked for a recommendation on a good beer for around a fiver. , I was allowed to try the pilsner, which I bought for £5.60. Very nice beer for a fair price in the impressive surroundings. Nicely decorated and an impressive looking menu. Look forward to returning.

We visited while on holiday and first impressions were excellent, we ordered at the bar as the app was not working, and were told after ordering (and paying) that certain items were not available. We ordered alternatives which were not as expensive and were not even offered the difference back or any acknowledgement that we had now overpaid. The food was average, slightly burnt cold burger buns and all the meals were just a bit plain overall. Definitely deserve the 3 stars for the decor and lovely atmosphere of the place.

Awesome place with amazing burgers. On the terrace there is these nice beach cottages typically for bournemouth, we just live the place so much so we vent back two days in a row. Not to forget their own beers, also very nice

We came in as a big group and were honestly blown away. The food was exceptional — every single dish was spot on — and the staff were brilliant from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble, everything ran smoothly, and everyone left happy and full! Highly recommend — we’ll definitely be back.

Was recommended this pub, When I arrived the outside looked nice but could do with a bit of tlc. But when I walked in I was pleasantly surprised on how welcoming it was! The decor was beautiful and welcoming! Not to mention the staff especially Phil he went above and beyond to make our experience with you the best.. The food is exceptional! I had the burger, it was incredible. And it’s so nice to be able to taste the beers before buying at a great price.. The garden area is cute with little beach hut booths! Didn’t feel like I was in the centre of Bournemouth.. I will definitely be recommending to everyone. Looking forward to my next visit. Thank you.

Absolutely fantastic pub! From the moment we walked in, the staff were welcoming and friendly. Great selection of beers on tap. We had dinner and were genuinely impressed—the food was delicious and clearly made with care. Highly recommend the steak and ale pie! Portion sizes were generous without compromising on quality.

Absolutely the best chicken burger I’ve ever had, and a really nice selection of drinks and liquors. The atmosphere is really nice and the staff are fantastic. The beer garden is really cute and has a ping pong table, fun for families in the day and fun for a night with adults in the evenings!

Enjoyed a lovely salad in the courtyard garden. Loved that they have a separate non smoking area out there. I had a prawn and bacon salad which was really tasty about £14 for a good portion.

Ive recently moved to the area so have tried a few different pubs for sunday lunch. As they say ive tried the rest so try the Best. This little Gem certainly is. Immediately upon arrival i was greeted with a freindly smile / service ! The first since i arrived in the area..the pub was VERY busy alerting me that this is a good place. Having not booked for sunday lunch the staff went out of their way to accommodate me and find me a table. I had a superb sunday Roast with cauliflower cheese and a cool bottle of white wine. I Reccomend ALL of the above. Kind relaxed friendly atmosphere with excellent service / Beverages/ and food. My absolute new place to be.

Called in for lunch and was very pleased with our choice it was fairly quiet but still had a good atmosphere. The food came out quickly and was very tasty with large portions. The staff were friendly.

We went to the Brass Haus for Sunday brunch, so we chose a pretty quiet time to visit. I've not been in this venue in about 10 years, so I have some memories of how it used to be, but how it is now is so much better! It's great inside! Love the decor, nice music playing, lovely big stage area at the back, plenty of seating and lots of nooks and crannies! The breakfast menu isn't massive, but it doesn't need to be. I had a bacon and egg bap, with a £1 side of hash browns, and loved every mouthful! It was delicious! I genuinely had nothing to moan about, which is rare in current times. The prices were good, the quality was great, and the staff were lovely! Definitely going back!

Really great place. Haven't been here for years and was last here when it was a dive. This place has really changed and is much much nicer. Decor, food, drinks, atmosphere, live music it's got it all. Great bar staff. Friendly and knowledgeable. Live music on Fridays. Great location. Easily send the whole night here. Plenty to do and great food. Will be visiting again when in the area. Definitely a place to go for a night out.

I had a truly wonderful experience at this restaurant. The service provided by Ava was exceptional — she was extremely friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome throughout our visit. The food was of very high quality, beautifully presented, and offered at excellent prices. The environment was warm, comfortable, and tastefully decorated, making it a perfect place to enjoy a meal. Highly recommended, and I will certainly be returning!

Visit this venue frequently and it is nothing but amazing every time. It has a lovely atmosphere and different things for all kinds of people such as their interactive darts and array of live music. I visited last Thursday and the local music night that they had on was fab! Came in today for some lunch and had the fish and chips, very nice. Thanks guys 🙌

It was our first time visiting Urban Garden as tourists in Bournemouth, and we absolutely loved it! The place had such a beautiful atmosphere and vibe. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. There was even some entertainment for kids, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We were treated so well and had a delicious lunch—highly recommend the fish and chips!

Amazing staff and cosy atmosphere! We were looking for yummy fish and chips and this is the place for it! Fresh orange juice was on point 👌🏻 I wish the fries were crispier - they were too mushy to my liking. The burger is awesome!

Urban garden is such a great spot for a sunny day with summer rooftop vibes. The food matched the stunning aesthetic and they do a 2 courses for £22 lunch deal! The service was a little slow the day we went and the food took a while but we didn’t mind because it was a lovely place to sit and the food was worth the wait!

We visited the outdoor terrace of this restaurant on a Saturday afternoon to celebrate a birthday lunch and found it to be an enjoyable experience overall. The setting, with views overlooking the Bournemouth Gardens, offers a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere that suits casual dining occasions. To start, we ordered the smoked haddock Scotch egg. The flavour was well balanced, with the smokiness of the fish complementing the egg nicely. While the yolk would have ideally been runny, the dish was still a strong introduction to the meal and thoughtfully composed. For our main course, we had the Fish and chips. The fish was well cooked and encased in a crisp, golden batter. However, the fish itself carried a slightly muddy aftertaste—likely due to the variety used—which somewhat detracted from the otherwise commendable execution. The hand-cut chips were excellent and arguably the highlight of the plate, showcasing a clear emphasis on freshness and quality. The pea purée had a pleasant flavour but was served cold, likely due to the plates not being sufficiently heated to retain warmth. The house-made tartar sauce, however, was well seasoned and a welcome addition. We also ordered a seasonal local beer, which paired nicely with the meal. It was flavourful and a fitting accompaniment to the dishes. The service throughout was friendly, professional, and attentive without being intrusive, contributing positively to the overall experience. The total cost came to just under £70 for two starters, two mains, and beer, inclusive of an automatically added service charge. Considering the central location, garden views, and quality of the ingredients, this represents good value for money—particularly when ordering from the set lunch menu, even if the selection is understandably limited. While no individual dish reached perfection, the meal was well prepared, the ingredients were fresh, and the experience overall was enjoyable. A fair rating would be 7 out of 10, and we would consider returning—especially for the home made chips and the inviting outdoor setting.

Easy to find a seat, even on a Friday evening. Place was very warm for midsummer—no fans in sight, which made it a bit uncomfortable. The barman seemed quite miserable… a smile wouldn’t hurt! Menus had quirky wording, which I absolutely loved. Food arrived hot, tasty, and portion sizes were just right. Peas were undercooked, but the steak was done exactly as requested. Gammon was lovely—not fatty—and the chips were great too. Drinks come in either small or large, which felt a bit odd. The music? Fabulous. A fun, nostalgic mix of oldies—none of the usual chart stuff, which was refreshing! Would visit again!

Massive shout out to Laura who couldn't have done more for us. Last minute bookings, and we had decorations and games on the table. Service was fast - plenty of drinks. Food was lovely. Honestly without a doubt the BEST burger I have ever eaten! I had the chicken bacon and hot honey burger and it was incredible, the condiments on the table helped to finish it perfectly. I had some ballymaloe relish with my burger and some Guinness bbq sauce for my chips. What a meal!!!!!! Definitely be coming here a lot more often, the team were very friendly and coped well despite the busyness of the venue. All in all an outstanding experience and one I look forward to repeating.

Was in on a quiet Friday afternoon. Pizza took 50 minutes to arrive, this was due to an order in front of me having allergies and the kitchen having to be scrubbed down. Fair enough but would have been nice to be told. Apart from that was great

I didn't stay here as I am local so I've rated the rooms within accordance the staff, the venue and the location to Bournemouth town.. They seem to have returned it quite a bit since I was last in her especially the beer garden, such a better lay out now. It is always clean and tidy and the staff are always super friendly

Nice enough pub, not quite as fresh looking as some of the photos. Loads of space and a big beer garden put the back. On their website it said it was club neon 8pm onwards specifically on Saturday 27th. On their insta said it was from 9pm. By 9:20 it was still just football with no sign of anything happening. 🤷 £16 for a Vodka and coke and a Malibu and coke is pretty crazy, especially when served in small hard plastic tumblers.

We were a large group, booked for Sunday lunch time with dogs too. All were accommodated perfectly. The food and drinks were ordered from the table and allergies were considered. The young lady that looked after us checked to make sure all was OK, a couple of times. Food was lovely and we had a great time, not rushed in any way. Will definitely recommend and will return. We booked for 60 people for my birthday - Danny & Lizzie were brilliant right from the beginning of booking to looking after us with food & drink and cake! I would highly recommend this pub for a celebration or get together - many thanks to all the staff and Danny & Lizzie

The Richmond Arms has by far the best pub garden in the Bournemouth area with an unrivalled atmosphere in the suntrap beer garden, and really friendly staff. Away from the summer, it's also a decent pub with two main areas (one noisier, often showing sport on the TV, and the other side quieter). There's a pool table and a good selection of drinks. For those travelling by car: parking isn't great but there is a small car park round the back. The Richmond can get quite lively with a good mix of students and locals. I host a monthly Maths Club, we switched to the Richmond during Covid (as soon as the pubs reopened) and haven't looked back.

I came between 14:00 and 15:00 on a Wednesday service was great, I ordered BLT with chips tested great recommended if you want a pint and something to eat at lunch

Nice little pub with a decent range of ales. Whilst not as cheap as some of the pubs we visited on our overnight visit to Bournemouth and the surrounding area it is well maintained with friendly staff and limited free parking. It's obviously a favourite local for residents which is great to see. Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area

Super friendly staff, decent prices and are very helpful when catering to dietary requirements. We ate with a coeliac, myself a vegan, three omnis and all thoroughly enjoyed our meals :) I would really recommend the vegan field Mushroom pie, and the battered Mushroom wings, they were amazing! Nice selection of booze on tap too. Very approachable staff. Thanks guys

Been to this a few times with my wife and every time the service and atmosphere have been brilliant. They always have a wide selection of beers and ciders to suit all tastes. They sometimes have live music to. So if you are looking for a friendly and relaxing place to have a drink. Myself and my wife will highly recommend it.

Great little craft ale bar with a large selection of keg beers, bottles and cans. Good vibe and friendly staff and a laid back eclectic clientele. Loved the delicious Paulaner Helles on draught. Definitely one to visit when in this area.

I love this place! I saw a FANTASTIC, intimate gig by Sam Amadon & I was blown away!! Respectful clientele who clearly share the love of live music, a fantastic selection of real ales & lovely staff! The only gripe (tiny one), is it's a very small space, so it's limited on seating space, obviously because more people can stand & squeeze in to enjoy the music. If you're claustrophobic, it'll be a challenge for you, having said that, part of the appeal of The Wight Bear is the intimate space 🤗🎶

Visiting Bournemouth for the weekend and this bar was definitely on the list of craft beer bars to go to. Checked on line on Sunday and saw that it was open til 8pm so spent £20 in a taxi to get there. Arrived at 6.30 to be told it was closed. Very disappointed.

The Firkin Shed is a small micro pub that has a great choice of draught/ bottle beers, ciders,mead,spirits. It doesn't do food as it is too small. It just has snacks. It has three areas inside and two outside. The toilets have toilet paper/air freshener/ electric hand dryers in. It is a cosy place with a good atmosphere. I would definitely go again for a couple of pints with friends.

Quirky and spooky...💀👻 the two words that i think would best describe this pub. I can tell with certainty that it's very different to the pubs that you been to before. They don't serve the mainstream🍺 but the ales that they do are just awesome🤘🏻 the place is littered with random objects and artifacts that add to its character. They dont serve food, but should you get peckish, there are plenty of takeaways nearby. As it's quite a small place, better air conditioning would be great.

Atmospheric little boozer that you can't help but not enjoy. Came here to watch The Wilswood Buoys. Cozy set up and really felt part of the music. The atmosphere was great! Freindly bar staff and locals & a great choice of local real ales. Didn't eat here so can't comment on the food but if it's anything like the drink and service, you won't go wrong.

A brilliant, cosy micro-pub situated in Springbourne. Cask ales, wines and whiskeys from all over the UK are served here, and at a reasonable price too. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting; perfect for enjoying an ale and catching up with friends. I'll definitely be a repeat customer. Staff are friendly and helpful and will recommend drinks based on your tastes.

Just had cocktails, which were reasonably presented (expected the Hilton to be well above average), so a bit disappointing - especially for the price. Good, fast, friendly service. The view over Bournemouth, and the solent and across to the Isle of Wight is great.

We enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea at the Hilton's Sky Bar. The food was excellent and the staff very efficient indeed. The views across Bournemouth were also great. However, we were a little underwhelmed by the Sky Bar itself. We were expecting something a bit more luxurious and we felt the decor was rather plain and uninspiring. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our visit.

Excellent top tier looking sky bar in Bournemouth. It is located on floor 8 in the hilton hotel. Staff was ultra friendly and they suggested nice drinks. I reslly enjoyed the taste of their spirits snd the quality of the ingredients they use. To be honest the way how they make drinks remind me of a begginner version of the alchemist in terms of being showy but in terms of mixing stuff and achieving great flavours, they are one of the bests. Apart from the mentioned above, the views from Level8 are amazing. You can pretty much see the whole town centee without much effort, being there makes you feel at peace as well. They have quite a big drinks menu so you can always try something new and enjoy a new flavour, they also offer a few dishes to nibble on and they are very elegant and classy up there.

A nice bar to come a drink and relax. Good choice cocktail and spirits available. Prices are reasonable but of course depends what you drink. Service was good and friendly staff made the end of evening nice and the view was great too. Sunsets are great too!

I went there with a friend Saturday evening for a drink. The place looks nice but the staff were not organised at all. There was live music, a pianist, when we arrived at 8pm, which was lovely. They had a band from 9pm and that was nice as well but the it was just way too loud for such a small space. We couldnt hear each other at all thats why we left early. Also Im really disappointed as we had cocktails, the first time they charged us £27 for 2 cocktails the second time they charged us £30.38 for the same 2 cocktails. Im really disappointed of the fact that the waiter over charged us. I will make an official complaint as this should not happen. It seems once you have a drink they think they can overcharge you.

Had an afternoon tea in the Hilton sky bar. First impression was good was a little annoyed they had given away out table as was running 5 mins late, but they placed us by the window on a bar table and that's was okay. The waiters appeared to be attentive initially but I did have to prompt them several time for our tea and are last pot just nether even got served to the table. The afternoon tea itself was okay they had changed the menus that week so was surprised when they brought out a very different selection to what was on the menus on line, which resulted in half our sandwiches not being eaten, if we had know there was horseradish and beef we would have asked for an alternative instead. The puddings and scones where exceptional and the scones where even warm! Overall a very enjoyable experience would consider going again but for £22 a head plus a service charge they snuck on the bill It is very expensive for what you get and the view isn't that great.

Was very happy to find this pub on my visit to Bournemouth. Fantastic beer selection, both cask and draft. Knowledgeable bartender, good friendly vibe, and even a two man band playing a huge selection of great music (that you can request from a list) on the Thursday I was there. Would definitely go back next time I'm in town.

We were in Bournemouth for a weekend catching up with friends, and having a few drinks. We’re all fans of excellent beer, so came back here on the 2nd night too. Fantastic selection, really attentive and excellent staff. Highly recommended.

If I could give a pub a six star rating I would definitely do that for this great establishment. The barman Melvyn was really friendly and very knowledgeable about the ale, beer, lager and cider he was selling. I hope your approaching retirement goes well and the boat steers you to many more great pubs with countless new Ales to sample. One thing that I loved about the pub was that they actually had a deal going with the authentic Italian Pizza restaurant next door. You ordered your food and whilst waiting for it to be freshly cooked you pop in to the pub for a swift one. Your food was then delivered to the pub and you can eat it while sampling a beer or two. The only polite request was that you take your rubbish with you. The list of drinks available regularly changes so definitely worth visiting a few times if you are staying in the area for a few nights.

Great bar & nightclub. Over 2 floors. & 3 rooms. Main dancefloor & a small private hire room. It's all upstairs. Not wheelchair user accessible. The staff & great. Wide choice of drinks on offer. Lots of varied events.

Been there a few times now for different events. The venue is always clean with a great atmosphere, the drinks are reasonably priced but great quality. The music is always on high quality and the staff are always polite. Look forward to returning in December

Really amazing venue!. However £13 for 2xShandy, when a Shandy is half a pint of beer and half a pint of lemonade, so how did this venue and lots of other venues, come up with the prices of selling a pint of beer at £5 and a pint of lemonade at £5, which makes £10, thus its £3 more for exactly the same! Its misleading! At least make it the same price for the same drink, or sell it at a drinks deal, but don't make it confusing. Venues need to wise up if they want 5 stars. Or I'll just order a pint of lemonade and a pint of beer and four glasses and make it myself. Then you got more washing up to do and more bills yo pay.

Really, really bad service. Waiting for service and was completely ignored. One bar tender who looked like he was stoned. No one else to serve but he just ignored us. Then watched the bar tender take 5 mins to enter one drink on the till. Manger definitely needs to look at who they are employing .... diabolical

Good place to chill out and shoot pool. Around £20 for 2 hours. They have food but didn't get to try it as mix up. I was more than compensated though. Looking forward to going back soon.

Everything was good apart from dust being everywhere!! Staff was polite, and the displays were nicely organised but very, very dusty in places. Shoe section shelves were very dusty, and the cosmetic section of their partner brand was a big no-no when it came to dust.

I simply have to write a review about a special member of staff at next in castlepoint. Her name is Dee and she handled a situation with a coat I bought my wife In a very professional and extremely friendly way. If all the staff were like Dee the shop would be awesome.

Visited the Next store today and was really disappointed. It’s absolutely not accessible for parents with prams or people with disabilities. The aisles are packed with clothes, everything is crammed together — it’s nearly impossible to move around without bumping into something. On top of that, the lift wasn’t working. Very poor accessibility and disappointing experience overall.

The VOLUME in this shop is off the scale! I was wearing noise cancelling earphones with my music at a decent level and had just turn it off because the in-store music was blasting so loud it was drowning out the music in my headphones. Utterly off-putting.

Bought two shirts, good quality am happy with them and expensive for me. A security tag was left on one of them and this is a real pain because I didn't realise until I came to wear the shirt days later. It takes two hours more or less to get this shop and back home. So forcing me to do this is a real annoyance and massive inconverneience. Plus the cost of doing so! Ruined the high quality of the shirts I bought. Customers need to double check customer service level in this store, a pity because they sell good stuff!

Staff here are really lazy, wouldn't let us try on clothes because they had to clear up to go home - this was 40 mins before closing time. Pathetic excuse really. Perhaps they should learn to keep things tidy throughout the day?

My car broke down across the road from this particular garage, the men had a look at my car and was completely honest, and explained to me in detail what needed doing. Two hours later my cars ready to pick up and driving better than ever!! I will be recommending this garage to all my friends and family, they are and have been amazing. My car failed its MOT so I just thought I’d get a second opinion at Revolution Systems; they were recommended by a friend too (failure was a large, totally out of the blue failure on body work (never even an advisory last year)) Staff were friendly, got the car on the ramp straight away and explained what they thought the problem maybe. Gave me a fantastic price and booked me in almost straight away on the following Monday morning. Everything sorted on collection, work very well done, no charge for the odd bulb etc, 100% recommended. 👍🏻👍🏻

I couldn’t open my tank catch today, something got stuck. I asked them for help and they sorted it out within a couple of hours even I didn’t had an appointment. They are very friendly and helpful and don’t charge you an arm and a leg like many bigger garages do. Highly recommend.

Saved nearly £200 by putting myself in Fred's hands instead of paying my main dealers price. My partner did the same thing and is very satisfied both by the price and service provided, we both drive 2014 plate diesel cars and would recommend this garage.

This guy is straight talking, HONEST, an absolute gentleman and an extremely good mechanic. Dare I say, the best I've ever encountered. His work is stellar, his price is literally unbeatable and as a woman being nervous going to any garage, I did not feel uncomfortable or stupid for anything I said. My Corsa was vibrating while idle. He said he'll take a look. It turns out my water pump was leaking. I told him I have a warranty and he recommended me to bring it to vauxhall asap. I offered him money for diagnosing it but he did not want to take any!Thanks man! Giving you 5 stars is the least I could do :)

We live a few miles from this establishment and are always looking for a really good local place to eat frequently. The staff were lovely, friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere was really nice. We had our starters and they were tasty and well presented. We thought we had found our "Food Nirvana" However the main courses arrived and we were left wanting 😩 The filet steak decidedly average. The chips were cold/luke warm. The Macaroni cheese side, dry and tasteless. 😩 I didn't partake in dessert but my wife had the "trio of desserts" They were very nicely presented and very tasty too 😁👍After dinner coffee's were also good. I wouldn't say no to a second visit but I doubt we have found our culinary promised land.

Lovely food, lovely staff, lovely vibe. We came for the Valentines 3 Course Menu and the value for money was really good I’d say. Originally we had a lovely attentive member of staff with long blonde hair (I think she was called Jess) and can’t fault her. The only let down was later in the evening, there was another waitress who was loudly telling everyone around us her life story and showing pics on her phone. There were people waiting to order on other tables whilst she was telling long stories and even saying to other tables “hang on whilst I finish my story on this other table”. When our payment was ready to be taken she told my partner to add things up on his phone because she wasn’t sure on the prices on the bill which is fair enough but I felt could’ve been handled better. Soured the experience ever so slightly but good visit overall.

Lovely meal for my daughter's birthday. Served by Amy who was excellent - very friendly and professional (I would expect no less from a Canadian). I had the lamb shank and it was fantastic. Cooked to perfection and nicely presented. All of our meals were lovely so, all in all, a great evening and would highly recommend. Many thanks.

Came to visit with a friend who lives local and I wouldn't hesitate to travel over an hour to visit again. Food was delicious and the prices are very reasonable. Best roast i've had in a long time. Recommend the sharing roast. Thank you for having us!

Had Sunday lunch @the Cliff even though we were a little late for our reservation, and they were very busy, we were taken to our table, and the young lady asked if we had any allergies.Our waitress was Amy lwho looked after us, taking our drinks and food order with a smile. We ordered the Slow cooked Pork belly which was delicious, only criticism would be the roast potatoes were soft and not crispy, but probably not the best season for good roasties.

A variety of different cuisines in a lovely location (moments from the beach). Had a tasty meal with my family, and our server Cat made sure we had an excellent time with every want attended too. Thank you, Cat for a wonderful and entertaining evening!

Lavishly furnished cocktail bar which we ended up in for a snack and a drink mid afternoon as we had had a long walk along the beach. Friendly enough staff. The snack we had was a bit average (crispy squid) but the place is clean and smart, and I guess it might have a bit more atmosphere in the evening.

Very good service and amazing sushi. The 25£ all you can eat sushi definitely totally worth it. The restaurant was quite empty so that's why i gave only 4 stars. My only complaint would be about the few choices on wines and beer, i think, as a sushi restaurant should have many more options for the white wines. Cheers!

This is a strange place. It looks like it's trying to be boujee and high end but it's got carpets that give a very 80's feel. The music was good and the live band were decent. The clientele is eclectic. What stood out was the very high number of old men, decked out in designer gear, hanging off of very young exotic ladies. I'm guessing they were there for the company 😉.

I've been here just after the renovation and the restaurant had some amazing food. Booked it for new years' eve and it turned out that they've changed the concept and is now italian restaurant but we were not impressed with the food. Where we were seated for the actual New Years Music Program was a bit of a disappointment because we could not see the musicians which was a shame and we paid a decent amount of money for this event but it wasn't noted that we have to pay more if we wanted better seats. Very disappointing. The hotel room was quite nice though and when there is no event it's a pleasure to sit at the bar. Cocktails are top.

Had a glass of whiskey for around £9 which contained i would consider less than a gulp.. those prices are a rip off.. the live music was more like a club... the atmosphere was very below it's so called 'lavishness' ... would avoid tbh...

Never have I ever been so discriminated with my disabilities than I did here. The security wouldn't let me and my daughter in and accused us of having a lot to drink. I was holding on to my daughter for support as I've recently had a hip replacement, we were just talking and laughing and having a good time until this security guy was quite rude and upset my daughter. I thought Bournemouth was a friendly place, but I felt discriminated against my disabilities 😡

Lovely pint of Tangle Foot in nice surroundings. Great staff, nice clientele, although I didn't eat there it was nicely busy with people doing so and the food looked great .. and as a couple of bonuses for me as someone just calling in for a drink, there were seats available and the pub didn't smell of food (something I dislike) All good!

Such a lovely, unique pub. Very traditional, a place you would only experience in Poole. It was busy when I went in but we managed to get seats at the bar and were served soon enough. I didn't eat there but I will in future as the food looked lovely and I heard others talking about how lovely their meals were. A really special place.

We visited on a Sunday in June 2023, having popped in around 6 months earlier for a pint just before they closed. This time we were there for opening and after checking the menu decided to try the Sunday Roast. We weren't disappointed as the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the food was out of this world. Both the Pork and Beef options came with all the trimmings you'd expect and the veg was especially delicious. Really good portion sizes too. It did get quite busy whilst we were eating, so booking ahead is probably advisable if you want to guarantee a table. But whether you're there for food or just a drink, you won't find a friendlier pub on Poole Quay.

Just about as good as fish and chips gets on Poole quay. Washed down with a pint of cruz campo. What else do you need.

Fantastic pub....beautifully decorated in nautical theme. Had several of their seafood dishes and they were very fresh and tasty. Plenty of space inside, so ideal for families. Highly recommend

Just a lovely roast dinner. The homemade cauliflower cheese was the best I’ve tasted for some time and it was lovely to have roast potatoes that were roasted and not deep fried! Pub staff all friendly and make you feel welcomed. I would highly recommend this place for food or just out for a drink.

2025 ane back in for bike night. New owners. Had a walk in by myself to sample the fish and chips without the seagulls swooping down, stealing. Deep sea divers old masks, boats, ships in glass tanks, not forgetting the barrels as tables. You can't get more ship orientated without being at sea. So, place was full in these times, one lonely table for a biker and his jacket. Back for bike night, 2024

Beautiful venue, but we did not know that we have to be on a queue for hours to get a good seating. Anyway, we've seen a great band and super happy of the experience. And we've got tickets already for another music event.

Great music venue. A Tuesday night 2 see Jade that's showbiz tour absolutely AMAZING. View is from balcony on 1st floor, main floor was rammed, 2nd floor o2 priority seating only. Parking 2min walk. Will always be Slinky 😝

We tried to confirm the showtime for the Amy Winehouse tribute, but repeated calls to the venue went unanswered. The ticket stated "doors 7pm," so we arrived on time, only to be told after our tickets were scanned that the show wouldn't start until 9pm. We were then informed that leaving would mean forfeiting our tickets. As a result, our group—which included a friend celebrating his 80th birthday—had to wait inside for two hours with limited seating, forcing us to sit on the floor. When one of our friends spoke to a security supervisor (the one with the green band on his upper arm in the photo) to complain, he was exceptionally rude and threatened to throw her out. The supervisor also refused to allow guests to leave, even when their parking tickets were about to expire. Others who arrived at 6:30pm reported waiting for two and a half hours. Would never return to this place again.

St Vincent is an awesome act and the venue was the perfect setting for the theatrical, sometimes heavy, sometimes light, sometimes comedic show that confirms why many suggested their Glasto show (just a few days before Bmth) was the show of the festival.

Lovely venue, and excellent accessibility services. Last month, I went to the Party101 DJ gig at the O2 Academy with a friend who is a wheelchair user. Becky, the box office manager, was SO helpful and made the process so easy for us to book into the accessible area. On the night itself, Becky was there to chat and gave us so much support. She was so friendly, and clearly so passionate about providing the best service possible for those with accessibility needs. The venue security and door staff were also incredibly friendly and approachable. I’d really recommend going to their events, especially for people with accessibility needs!

What a beautiful venue!! I've been going to this fantastic venue for nearly 30 years now. Great sound, great location and great bookings. Recently so the Lightning Seeds play with Casino supporting and it was fantastic !!

I found the whole experience from becoming a member at the entrance reception, to dinning in the casino restaurant, to spending a few hours on the roulette machines very enjoyable. My partner loves to gamble so watching her nearly lose everything to break even and come away with +£14 at the end of the night great fun.the casino has a real mix of people age and different backgrounds but there was a good atmosphere in there and no problems..well done grosvenor..perfect environment.

I had a fantastic time at Bournemouth Grosvenor Casino! The food was absolutely delicious — from the starter to the main course and dessert, everything was cooked to perfection. The cocktails were excellent too, beautifully made and full of flavour. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and the managers made us feel so welcome throughout the evening. On top of that, the gaming experience was great — fun, exciting, and really well organised. A perfect night out with amazing food, drinks, and entertainment. Can’t wait to visit again!

Pretty chilled casino but the few times we’re were there they were quite understaffed and there was only one pool table each evening, so if you didn’t come early enough as like 9pm you’ve probably had to go on a waiting list.

I’d like to share some feedback regarding a recent visit with friends. We had initially planned to simply use the bar area, but were informed that we needed to register first. While we were going through the registration process, I inquired whether I could later request my details and profile to be removed from the system as i would not need it after using the bar that night. Unfortunately, the receptionist was quite rude and dismissive, stating that once you register, your profile cannot be removed. She insisted she was GDPR-trained, but clearly demonstrated a lack of understanding on the subject. When I asked for her name to make a formal complaint, she refused. I then asked to speak to a manager, which she also declined to arrange. Thankfully, Kez, the manager, eventually came to speak with us — and she was an absolute star. She handled the situation with professionalism, empathy, and warmth, completely turning around the experience. Her manner made us feel respected and welcome, to the point that we decided to return to the casino the very next day. I'd also like to give a special mention to Alexis, the Bar Manager (I hope I’ve got her name right), who was incredibly kind and thoughtful. Understanding the situation we experienced downstairs, she generously offered us drinks on the house, which was a lovely gesture that didn’t go unnoticed. While the initial interaction at reception was disappointing, Kez and Alexis both showed what great customer service looks like. They are fantastic representatives of the Grosvenor brand, and I hope their efforts are recognised.

I was in for a staff poker tournament (which might I add was fun and me and other colleagues/friends enjoyed the game itself) but during the break we ordered food (we did pay but had a staff discount, I’m not discrediting that in the slightest) but if I’m paying and providing customs, which all of us did I’d expect mine and the others food to arrive on time and at the bare minimum warm. The food took the best part of an hour to arrive (it was just chicken strips and fries) and on top of this all the fries were colder than room temperatures on the inside. If I’m paying for food I’d expect it to be hot or at the bare minimum warm. Experience was fun but food is not recommended if the chefs are not in.

Lovely staff and delicious food, would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a lively night out xx
