This hotel and spa is very nice. The staff is absolutely amazing. They are friendly, fast and they all speak English, which was helpful for me and my group. The rooms are a good size and the showers are big too. Some rooms have a fireplace in them as well. The thermal pools and the spa 3000 are so relaxing. The whole place is in the apps and far enough away from town to be quiet but close enough to be accessible. The hotel offers hikes and skiing and bike trail trips for a small additional fee.

We stayed for two nights, and honestly, everything was spectacular. The room, the balcony with its view of the mountains and cows, everything was perfectly heated. The spa area was excellent — super peaceful and relaxing. A really lovely experience! The only thing that could have been better is if the outdoor pools had different temperatures, as they were all the same. Breakfast was my favorite part. There’s a wide variety and everything was delicious! The dinners were also very good. I should mention that I forgot my orthopedic pillow at the hotel and asked them to send it to my home since I’m not from Austria. They arranged the shipment at my expense, and within two days I had the pillow at home. So, the service is more than a 10 for me. Thank you so much for paying attention to every detail.

Excellent stay. A lot to discover inside and outside. Great valley for hiking and biking. Inside: great rooms, excellent food. Good quality of SPA treatments, much better than elsewhere. Reception staff can be more into the details, it took a while to get detailed invoice, and only one person knew how to do it. Highly recommended place and we will definitely come back

This is a review of the Therme ONLY, we didn't stay at the hotel. We come here every time we are in Austria, which is pretty much every year. The facilities are great but, somewhere closed (like the outside cold pool and there was extensive building noise outside. Too bad they don't enforce the no kinds in the adults pool, it's not that difficult as there is a kinds pool just next to it. The prices at the buffet are high but the drinks and food are nice. Also, they started to charge for PARKING - which is crazy to me, you come to a place and pay a rather high price already, so a few more euros for parking leaves a bad aftertaste.

Boyfriend and I booked the evening Deluxe ticket and thought 4 hours exploring the thermal spa, sauna and spa3000 would be enough but we loved it so much we returned the next day! We bought a full day ticket for general spa and sauna which included free tea and water, bathrobe and towels and free parking. What a day! And a big shout out to Bobby and Ben who work in the restaurant/bar ⭐

My wife and me came here 38 weeks ago for a nice romantic evenings… and this week we got a baby girl! 😄 Guess this place really brings people closer together… it’s something in water. Unforgettable!

WOW! Best hotel I have ever stayed at, truly the most marvelous views wherever you look. Stunning. Food... impeccable. The staff? So helpful. The rooms? The cutest, most spacious with beautiful views and I was only in a single room! Air is amazing, trails are one step from the property. Wine list and sommelier are fabulous. Driver was unreal. Thanks to the whole staff especially for helping accommodate my Internet needs a dietary restrictions as well as last minute booking and early departure/arrival transfers. Truly appreciate it. 🙏🙌 If you need WiFi, specify in advance for a connected room bc only every other room has an access point. But they can help you with a cable regardless.

We stayed at this hotel for our honeymoon, and it was truly a dream come true! Everything was absolutely perfect—from the spacious, beautifully designed rooms to the breathtaking views that made every moment feel magical. What made our stay extra special was the incredible staff—they were not only warm and welcoming, but also went above and beyond to make sure every detail of our honeymoon was flawless. We felt genuinely cared for the entire time. They even added thoughtful touches that made our experience unforgettable. We both loved every second of it and will definitely cherish the memories forever. Highly recommended for a romantic getaway or any special occasion!

I would rate this place as a 10 stars hotel Wow is not enough ! I stayed in a lot of 5 stars hotels but this hotel was something else starting from the experience in entering the lobby and reception with your own car ! It was a wow feeling in everything I witnessed in this hotel from the stunning view to the service to the incredible breakfast buffet !!! I will surely come back to this place again ! A must try ! Amazing hotel, very good staff, very friendly and welcoming, the food was great, the hotel is is equipped by high tech washrooms which is very important for Muslims being able to use water in the toilets. We stayed in the pent house the view was breath taking, we wished if they had a private Swiming pool on that huge balcony however the hotel Swiming pool indoor and outdoor is just great, the kids park is not much of fun but we used it once. Things to improve: the lady in kids club doesn’t speak English, and no proper schedule for activities, over all very nice hotel

It's one of the most beautiful hotels that I've stayed in. I came with my husband and stayed for two days, but it was the most wonderful 2 days that we spent on this holiday. Many options for breakfast are served. But for the dinner, we did not like dinner in the hotel's restaurant and the options of the dinner were too limited. however, it is one of the best experiences that we had experienced in our vacation

Outstanding service, unique scenic location, giant spa area w excellent spa offers, excellent breakfast and great dinner, very family and pets friendly hotel. They have indoor outdoor tennis, free yoga lessons, a giant golf simulator and great kids clubs. You need a car to get around and explore the surroundings, Seefeld is a cute town nearby to visit. If you love spa, this is the best in Austria.

Let me preface this by saying that it pains me to leave a negative review.. and that all of the staff we encountered were really kind and gracious. We booked two nights at the Interalpen after touring around staying in 5 star hotels. Upon our arrival we were impressed by the grandiose nature of the establishment. While we tend to lean to more minimal, modern and low key places, we could appreciate the more traditional feel of the hotel. We quickly became overwhelmed by smells - the smell of fish throughout the lobby during dinner and throughout the restaurant, very overpowering. The smell of cigarette smoke every time we wanted to get some fresh air outside on our balcony. The smell of sewage in the hallway outside of our bedroom and in the elevator. The manager was wonderful in helping us shorten our stay and received our feedback with great care. Again, I do not wish to speak badly of Interalpen, and clearly, many people have had an amazing experience there, however, it simply was not pleasant for us.

We liked the hotel very much. There were activities, the sauna infusion was very nice, the facilities well maintained, the food was very good a lot of options, good ingredients and also quality matcha. The manager was very attentive and friendly. We had one issue that was solved. It's definitely worth coming back.

As a resort spa its first rate. The view of the Alps is amazing. Hotel is not "brand" new but it is modern, clean, and up to date. Service is first rate.

We stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed the hotel. The food was nice and the staff in the restaurants were very customer focused. And the food was of good quality. However we stayed on the third floor and our room for some reason became really hot during the day. Easily 25-28 degrees. Outside temperature was 15 degrees and it was cloudy. We had to sleep with the balcony doors open in order to cool the room down during the night. We mentioned this to the reception staff, who refused to believe us. After standing our ground finally someone would be sent to investigate. This never happened and they refused to help further. This was very disappointing and spoiled the stay quite a bit.

Staff exceptionally friendly!! Very very nice spa! Definitely recommend! We have been three times now. Also it’s dog friendly and you have plenty activities! Very very nice! See you soon

Everything was amazing - the rooms, the food , the service, the spa, the location. One of the best hotels I have stayed in.

As a whole, the experience was okay, but really not a 5-star service. The price-quality realtionship is not there. We had way better experiences in 4-star hotels... Details: -The staff at the reception is not very efficient (issues with the Achensee Guest Card, long check-in process) + no ski shuttle? the hotel has a shuttle-bus, but they do not vehicle their guests to the ski station - it's 5 min drive... -Pool & Spa: the pools are not hot enough for winter, the best jaccuzzi is "textil-free" only, that's sad ! the jaccuzzi inside is old and cold. The classic zone (with textil) is too old compared to textil-free... -Massage: it was great, but it's not warm enough in the room + the music is not calm + the light was full on, you cannot really relax. -Bar: the bartenders are not really friendly. One night we asked for a homemade lemonade - we were told "okay but not tomorrow because we will be too busy"... -Restaurant: the food was good, only the salad bar at night is a little sad - nothing really seasoned, only raw veggies... The service one night was totally off (we waited 40min for the main course) - no real excuses from the kitchen, a waiter just came with Schnaps as an apology, but was really aggressive. -Room: the office table in the room does not fit with the "mountain mood", the bathroom is a little "altmodisch", the shower tap is broken...

A beautiful high-end hotel in the Austrian Alps. We spent 3 nights at this hotel which turned out to be a perfect choice for a short relaxing vacation. We were impressed with the vast pool, sauna and wellness areas which beat everything else I've seen before. The breakfast was delicious with lots of healthy options and very friendly staff. The dinner was also top notch and the restaurant is beautiful and cozy. We booked a room in the Schlössl section. It was comfortable and spacious. Unfortunately there's no ventilation or air conditioning in this part of the hotel which meant the room was quite warm during our stay. The furnishings in this room are very traditional which might not be ideal if you prefer something more modern. The main disappointment was the Atrium spa where I had booked a facial treatment. The treatment was not worth the money spent, the lady performing the treatment was also not that friendly. Other points for improvement I'd suggest: - The rooms were missing some amenities like hair conditioner and slippers which should be a given at a 5 star hotel. When asked about slippers, the receptionist informed me that I can buy flip flops for 20 EUR. This was very unusual and something I've never seen anywhere else, they should just have free slippers in the room. - Turndown service in the evening is only available upon request, it should be included by default - The guided hike to Zöhreralm was great but it would be nice if the guide could also provide some information about local nature, culture, history, etc.

10/10, a very unique experience, no matter the season. views are stunning, spa one of the best I visited, its a place to not leave for the whole stay, you have everything. Make sure you come prepared for a decent ride there, its on a tall mountain, the ride was beautiful specially for tourists, but be prepared to drive. Make sure to come on time so you will have time to do a tour and check in properly, probably 1 hour before the actual check in threshold .

I don't want to say anything......as I want to keep this secret to myself. We went for a late autumn romantic break. What an amazing hotel. The staff all want to work there. You can see it in their smiles. The owners/managers have trained all their staff as a career. Not a stop gap job. And what a difference it makes. The food is fantastic. Went to the buffet and all three adjoining restaurants for dinner. Outstanding. The thought and care gone into each dish. Again staff fantastic. Activities galore, so much to do. You must go hiking with Claus. What a character. What a genuine person. What knowledgable and enthusiastic person. We thought we made a big mistake going in school half-term for a romantic break. There were children everywhere having fun. However, once again the owners thought this hotel through. Break out places for kids and adults. Not just small places but vast areas of comfort and relaxation. So very well put together. Well done. I've not seen this achieved so well, very unique. Thanks for a great vacation back for the skiing.

An unforgettable stay – truly exceeded our expectations! This hotel was a wonderful surprise! It exceeded everything we hoped for. The rate included not only a rich breakfast and a lovely dinner, but also a fantastic afternoon snack and dinner. One evening, we chose a special beef dish from the à la carte menu – there was only a small symbolic surcharge, which we found completely reasonable. The hotel is exceptionally clean, beautifully designed, and full of thoughtful details. You can truly feel that this is a family-run hotel – not part of a big franchise – and it shows in the warmth, the personal touches, and the genuine care for every guest. Every corner feels intentional and made with love. There are so many amenities for both children and adults – from kids’ play areas and pools to a fantastic spa and wellness zone. It’s ideal for families, but peaceful and relaxing for everyone. We left feeling refreshed, surprised, and honestly impressed. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a heartfelt, high-quality family experience in the mountains!

The best resort i’ve ever been to, everything is perfect. the views the service the activities, they paid attention to each detail and were very helpful and friendly. Amazing design and views! I felt like i’m on a break from real life and they had activities for all age groups everyone in my family had fun even if you sit and do nothing and just admire the views it’s really fun. the food menu was AMAZING I really miss it it was really tasty and the presentation was great, they also paid attention to our food that we don’t eat pork and made sure to have food meat variations for us. definitely not the last time to go there.

We traveled from Canada to Forsthufgot and it was without question it was the most special place we have ever visited. This place is truly amazing!! I honestly don’t know where to begin - the food, spa, room….every detail is so thoughtful and cared for. The staff is truly amazing, every interaction is genuine and intentional and heartfelt. We are so lucky and grateful to have stayed here!!

We loved our stay here. It’s an amazing location with great views and the most beautiful pool. Lots of spa options, great gym with good equipment. We also loved the art studio activities for the kids. I do think the black waterslide in the indoor kids pool is a bit dangerous as it can go really really fast. Something to be aware of with younger children as there is no lifeguard here. Also; I would not go to this place without kids, at least not during school holidays. Kids are everywhere in this hotel, and super noisy ;) but for families, it’s simply amazing.

I strongly dislike leaving negative reviews but I wish someone had warned me before I booked at stay. All in all, I wouldn’t say that I don’t recommend this place, but perhaps adjust your expectations before arrival and note: - there will not be 5-star service, room amenities may not be topped up. If you need something just call in advance and be patient with delivery that can take. Aside from this, rooms are cleaned nicely. - coffee, tea, tap water are up charged for lunch and dinner. - although marketed as all-inclusive, be prepared to tip for lunch and dinner. I recommend tipping. - some items in the lobby don’t have prices, such as the cake bar. Be mindful these are not included, €9 cake slice. - I recommend booking during less busy times for a more relaxed experience. - expect the dinner experience to last about 3 hours and wait up to 30min between courses during high peak period (another reason to book at a later time). - the beds are Japanese-style hard. Take advantage of the pillow menu for better sleep. - seems like a genuinely nice place for children/families, book activities in advance.

Possibly the best hotel stay we’ve had in terms of relaxation and food. Out of this world. The meals are amazing. Incredibly comfortable rooms and beautiful spaces throughout the hotel which has been cleverly designed and thought through. The spa and pool was a massive hit for my wife and daughter. The gym was fine but could do with a proper cable machine rather than one multi gym machine. The yoga classes etc were excellent. We had a fabulous time here and will definitely return again.

Absolutely great place. Beautifully done and decorated, very nice pool and sauna with a view, very good food, friendly staff. Next to aqua dome and bike routes. We were in Austria during summer for the first time and definitely not for the last.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Super nice Wellness area, great food and service, awesome salad and breakfast buffets and generally a super nice and comfy hotel.

Overall the experience was great. Warm welcome, good food, excellent service from a friendly (family) staff. It shows the family's commitment to maintaining high level quality day in day out which, in today's reality, is a real challenge. Kudos to the Family Auer and its employees for going the extra mile. As a (tourist) guest I was delighted to spend a full week in Naturhotel Waldklause. I know you didn't control the factor 'weather', but even there we got lucky!

We loved every bit about our weekend at Naturhotel Waldklause. The room (double deluxe) was beautiful and so comfortable that we wanted to spend lots of time in it, the food was amazing, the wellness area was beautiful and relaxing (I especially enjoyed the Baumsauna - a sauna with a view onto trees), and the service was top. We will definitely be back!!

Our stay at the Miramonti Boutique Hotel had both memorable highlights and notable disappointments. Arrival & Service Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Foday, who kindly carried our bags and parked the car – a very positive first impression. Unfortunately, the welcome at reception didn’t match. The first receptionist offered us a drink but did not provide any useful information about the room, dinner options, or the restaurants. After the cocktail, no one guided us to the room, which felt impersonal. Later, another receptionist simply asked, “Do you know your room is ready?” – not exactly the warm hospitality one would expect from a 5-star boutique property. Drinks & Dinner The bar was a high point – the Aperol Spritz was excellent. However, dinner was underwhelming. The portions were extremely small, almost child-sized, and both the food and the local wines were overpriced for what was offered. On a positive note, service staff such as Kiryl and Manjum stood out for their professionalism and friendliness, both at dinner and breakfast. Room The room design left much to be desired: • No proper blackout curtains, which made it difficult to sleep. • A curtain dividing the bed area gave the room almost a claustrophobic feeling. • The toilet resembled a hospital bathroom, lacking warmth. • The flooring was plastic instead of a cozy more luxurious wooden parquet. • Heating was central only, so we had to call reception each time we wanted a temperature change – very inconvenient in a luxury property. Breakfast Breakfast was generally good, with a nice variety, but there were some peculiar downsides. Juices were self-service, and seating was divided into “classes” depending on whether you had a table with a mountain/valley view or a table with no view at all. At no point during booking or check-in were we informed about these seating restrictions, which created confusion and left a poor impression. Overall While the location and views are stunning, and a few staff members (like Foday, Kiryl, and Manjum) delivered excellent service, the overall experience fell short of the standards one expects from an SLH property. The lack of attention to detail in both hospitality and comfort, combined with overpriced dining, means we left feeling underwhelmed. With some adjustments in service, transparency, and room design, Miramonti could truly live up to its potential.

We stayed two nights in the Sky House. It was a lovely and well appointed room. The fireplace with the sweeping views was just wonderful. The outdoor space with the heaters was fantastic as well. The hotel itself it beautiful with sweeping views. Breakfast is extensive and service attentive. Most staff were very accommodating. It was very pricy but worth the splurge.

A hotel our whole family adored staying at! The service is very much complimentary worthy, the staff were so hospitable, kind and accommodating. They made us feel right at home! When we checked out, before getting on the car they gave us some posters and water bottles for the road. You can feel so much care has been put into this hotel ❤️ The hotel facilities were great (pool, steam, two saunas, onsen pool, outdoor pool, cold plunge), and we loved the free fruits and snacks during the afternoon. The breakfast was so hearty and delicious! It really was a rejuvenating and lovely stay ☺️

I have been looking forward to our stay for months, waking up every morning to read new reviews, and our stay so far has greatly exceeded our expectations. The staff are amazing and so hardworking. Violetta took extra care of us on our honeymoon, as well as Habiba during our dinner for two tasting menu. We feel so relaxed and are grateful for the slow pace at Miramonti. The breakfasts are out of this world, as are the views, and every thoughtful detail. Would highly recommend.

Miramonti has that rare quality in the staff where every single person you interact with feels like they care as much as the owner. Upon arrival there was an issue with our room, and Margit, the lead person on the front desk, literally wouldn’t rest until she had shown us the alternative options and ensured we were happy. Issues will inevitably happen in any hotel: it’s how you deal with them that counts, and Margit excelled. We ended up in the greatest hotel room we have ever stayed in, located in a new Monti annex building which was a short (and lovely) forest walk away - they would also drop and collect us at a moment’s notice in a fancy electric vehicle. I always think the hallmark of a strong team is that everyone demonstrably feels that, whilst they have a specific role to fulfil, nothing is ‘someone else’s problem’. We had daily examples of that: we asked if we could sit in the bar for a casual lunch; instead of just saying yes then we were led into the space and presented with the various options. Settling for a sofa, Margit lit the fire for us and brought someone to take our order. Another: after dinner we asked Kiryl to call for the shuttle back to our room as we were feeling lazy! He quickly checked with his team that there was capacity and then just took us over himself. There is a clear and constant commitment to making sure guests are totally looked after that runs like a red thread through all experiences, and guests really notice it. The food was excellent, especially the breakfast spread. We tried all three restaurant dinner options and felt the main one was actually the best balance of quality and formality - for us at least. Again, the waiting staff were uniformly brilliant, from Brana, Kiryl and Stefan to the apprentice Olis. They always remembered our preferences from day to day, really cared that we had the table we wanted and gave good recommendations. The wine tasting with Klaus was also very interesting, both to learn more about the vision behind the hotel and also the special wines from the immediate surrounding area that realistically you will never find elsewhere. The spa is great, with a particularly good steam room, plus Gerhardt’s special massage was very good. The infinity pool is a visual treat, even when there’s not much of a view due to the weather! The onsen pool is very special too. Our favourite thing was actually the forest bathing with Monika - it’s a stunning and interesting forest with a dense mix of deciduous and evergreen trees, and she is a real expert in the details that make this area such a natural delight. We even saw salamanders clambering around in the undergrowth. Even if you think it’s ’not your thing’ I would definitely recommend giving it a go. As expected given the rest of what I’ve written, any areas of feedback are extremely minor: I think it would help to communicate to guests that the wine tasting starts with a tour of the new facilities and Klaus’ explanation of their philosophy. It was very interesting - but I could sense a few of the guests wondering where the wine was! The wine tasting was then excellent and generous; I just think a clear itinerary would help everyone relax knowing what was to come. And Heidi’s Pilates class was great but pretty tough! We felt great afterwards, but all of us in the class were beginners so maybe a gentler version of the session might be helpful? Both tiny things, that I only mention because I know Klaus and Carmen will want to improve anything they can - even tiny things. Overall, I don’t think we’ve ever left a hotel remembering so many of the names of the staff - and I think that says it all. We’ll be back as soon as we can!

Everything was 10/10. Breakfast was great! Service was amazing (we didn’t have Netflix on the tv but the receptionists were so lovely and came with Chromecast box for us to use!) Gorgeous views and rooms! Super recommend!

Hands down one of the best hotel experiences ever. Not only is it in a beautiful location, but the hotel itself is wonderfully done, with fantastic dining, amenities, and most importantly, staff. Brano was amazing! He overheard that my favorite dessert was sachertorte, and had the kitchen prepare it multiple times just for me. The front staff also helped us book a last minute golf round, and with our broken rental car. Couldn’t ask for more from the place!

I want to complain about your hotel. The breakfast room seating arrangement is very bad. I paid to stay but it is a group. I understand. It is very bad to give seats without a view to my group. Theresa told me that the seats by the glass have a view. For people staying for 10 nights and Japanese groups staying for 2 nights, your group must get inside. I am the biggest hotel manager. I can arrange anything even though no other guests have arrived yet. My group came to stay at your hotel. You paid to rest and enjoy the view, not to experience such terrible service. When he got angry about the luggage, he said that the car parked far away and they wouldn't let him carry it. Let me ask you, should your hotel have staff like this?

I can't speak on the rooms as we only checked in for a day at the day spa but based on this experience, I would not stay here. First, as we were walking up, there was a man at the door greeting people and opening the door for them, but as we approached, he moved into the building, let the door close, and stood there, so that he would not have to greet us or open the door for us. Then we walk in, he says nothing. Receptionist comes out and is immediately aggressive with her attitude. No pleasantries as in a welcome or anything. Because we were confused on whether we had arrived at the correct hotel, we asked if it was the Romantik hotel and she rudely stated yes and asked what is it we need. The entire check-in process was uncomfortable due to the way she spoke to us throughout the process. Her attitude gave the impression that we didn't belong there. I was turned off about the visit and honestly did not want to stay but since we came there from another country, we stayed until the end of our time. I will say that all the other staff we encountered such as the cleaners and servers in the cafe/bar were very nice. Not too many people seemed to be about the hotel or outside in the spa area. The food from the spa cafe was good. I was hoping to really like the customer service to return from a proper stay but it seems that some people who work here have a problem with Black people and this is sadly unfortunate.

Tonight my wife and I took two of our friends for an evening meal here. I have been visiting St. Wolfgang and the White Horse Inn for approximately 50 years! My wife and I even had our honeymoon in the honeymoon suite of The White Horse Inn. Tonight was a disaster, mainly to do with the service. We had booked a table, which we were shown to. After about 20 minutes menu's appeared and we were asked what drinks we wanted. Food was then ordered and eventually appeared (the food was very good). After we had finished our main course, our plates were half cleared away, leaving some dirty plates etc. We waited for over 30 minutes for desert menu's but none appeared. Our table was completely ignored. My wife, who can speak German, got up and approached the man who appeared to be the head waiter to complain, and was ignored. This was extremely rude! She managed to say, forget the deserts and give us the bill. To all four of us, it appeared we were not welcome. Whether or not this was because we are English I don't know, but we certainly were not welcome.

I arrived at this hotel on Sept 16th 2024 after driving in from Salzburg. It was fairly easy to find however it was initially unclear where the reception/lobby entrance was and I drove further down thru the mini tunnel to find out I had to go back around and find a place to temporarily park to find out where the onsite parking was. The staff at the reception is very friendly and welcoming. A young man I think his name was Viktor went with me and even helped me to park further down the street, took my bags into the lobby and even provided me a sparkling wine. Later I was able to access my room since I had arrived early. The room was the Emperor suite and was a good size with a lovely view of the lake. The room had a large bathroom with shower and bidet; a separate wc, the bedroom, and a good size balcony to sit and watch the beautiful views. The room also had a well stocked minibar with beer, soft drinks, liquor, and champagne. The only complaint I have is with their restaurant. At about 12:30pm I entered their restaurant located right on the shore of Wolfgangsee, I waited a few minutes for that head lady in charge to seat me. I ordered some smoked fish with a salad which was delicious. My complaint is with the service there in the restaurant, after I had eaten and finished my beer that head lady just kept walking around and didn't even ask if I wanted anything more. After a long time of waiting I had resigned myself to just asking for the check but alas that was a chore in itself. Since no one came around I had to walk over to the register for assistance. Then I was able to pay 25 Euro. After I had paid she commented that it did not include the service charge and I replied what service charge and she said "tip". I thought that very unusual and I have only had that occur once in Paris at that Amelie cafe in Montmartre. I have her some coins just to leave and be done with it. I then went to the reception desk and inquired if that was normal and was told it was not. I also commented on it the next morning when checking out. I didn't appreciate her rude service and then having to pay some "tip". For dinner later that same day I went across the street as I didn't want to have a run in again with that lady. In conclusion I would still stay at this hotel because the room and staff in the hotel exceeded my expectations, however next time I will still avoid their restaurant.

Unfortunately I have to give this hotel one star. I would give it zero if possible. We had service issues the entire way through the stay. When we arrived, the night porter was no where to be found. We waited for five minutes upon arriving, and I then had to drive a further 5 minutes to park the car, and then come back. For what you’re paying, they should park this for you. We asked for a gluten free meal in advance of our stay (for a child), and all they could offer us was veal or arctic char. The menu was limited. We ran into multiple issues during our one dinner there. While the staff attempted to ameliorate, it colored the experience. We later called housekeeping to see if we could use the vacuum briefly. We had to go down to the desk three times to get someone to come up in the course of an hour. (The phone to the reception did not work). Finally, this hotel has a theft issue. I left a diamond brooch for my wedding accidentally when packing up my bags from the safe. I called to see if they found anything. They said they would call me back. They didn’t. I called again asking and they said they would call me back in 5 minutes. They never did. So I drove an hour back to the hotel and obviously, at this point, the brooch was long gone. The desk staff was hostile toward me. He showed me the room (which had been cleaned already so I am not sure of the point). Then, he refused to call housekeeping staff about this very important item. Then, at the reception he said everything that is turned in for lost and found is written in a list. Well, we discovered this was clearly a lie because my cousin’s blue water bottle was sitting behind the desk. We had left that too, but not mentioned it. The water bottle was not in their list nor did they offer it to us as something found in the room. Very poor service. The management is bad and frankly seems hostile toward guests who expect decent service at these high prices. What else are you paying for? Save your money. Stay somewhere else or go to Worthersee.

It is a nice hotel near the St Wolfgang Lake with the main difference that it has swimming pool in the middle of the lake as well as a jacucci and a nice lounge. The rooms are just ok and the restaurant looked fine dining (we did not try it). The location is superb and it is one of the best hotels in the area by far. Perfect for a weekend but be advised that there were many kids in the hotel despite the Romantik mention.

Famous Hotel but service no good …especially restaurant’ staff..

Had a perfectly ok lunch of traditional viennese fare, but dinner here was embarrassingly bad, over cooked proteins served with unwashed vegetables. Dinner service was mediocre, but lovely front desk. The charming and historic decor almost makes up for the lack of substance. Spa and pool are beautiful.

This hotel in Lech offers a perfect blend of relaxation and genuine Austrian hospitality. My spacious double room was cozy with its charming rustic furniture. Each morning started with a delightful breakfast buffet featuring an à la carte option, and the service was exceptional. Dinner was a culinary highlight with a five-course menu offering meat, fish, or veggie options. The spa facilities, including a Finnish sauna, steam room, and serene resting area, provided a peaceful retreat, accompanied by a temperature-regulated outdoor pool. With an ideal location near the main ski lifts, attentive hosts, and joyful service staff, my stay was truly memorable.

Everything was perfect from start to finish! Even before our arrival, we asked if we could check in earlier, which was no problem at all. Mr. Herzig made sure we had a wonderful stay and welcomed us with such warmth. We were even given a complimentary upgrade, which was a lovely surprise.😊 The spa area is very well maintained, with a beautiful outdoor pool and spotless sauna. The food was outstanding, and the staff were incredibly kind and attentive. Our room was cozy and beautifully furnished, with a fireplace that made the atmosphere extra comfortable. We truly enjoyed our stay in Lech and are already looking forward to coming back soon. A fantastic holiday all around!

We visited this incredibly beautiful hotel with my husband and doggie. I would like to note that our room is very cosy, with a beautiful view of the mountains. The hotel also has very polite staff. The food was very good, we remembered the fondue for the dinner and the Panorama restaurant, and also breakfast.

. Always enjoy this place whether is for a coffee, lunch or evening meal. Outside is heated well and blankets are on offer if you don’t manage a spot under a heater. Lovely staff, good menu, great food. Coffee is always served with a delicious homemade truffle. Lunch generally comes with a chefs sample treat of soup of the day. We’ve eaten in tge formal restaurant and the bar. Always make a reservation. We love the bar. Staff are very well trained, 6 star customer service. Professional, friendly and accommodating. Dishes we tried on our recent visit included The beef burger. Prawn Caesar Salad, tomahawk pork. Mixed salad, the salad bar, Apricot Strudel, ice creams. Everything was delicious. Well prepared, high quality ingredients and very flavoursome. Highly recommend a visit.

We went for the first time to Hotel Engel and we were pretty much stunned by the quality of this wellness oasis. My wife had birthday and is pregnant and the staff took super much care of it. We felt welcomed from the beginning and enjoyed every moment of our stay. Staff is exceptional, it feels like a big family. Wellness is amazing, with so many great amenities that you can really relax and unwind. Thanks again for the great time we had. We will definitely come back again!

Hotel Der Engel is one of the Top 5 hotels i ever been! I visit a lot of hotels in a many countries and Der Engel is one of the best! When you get there, you will see why!

Fantastic wellness area, but service at dinner when requiring assistance due to coeliac disease very poor "chefs or kitchen personell don't know what's in dishes and noone has time for info or walk around buffet as busy" for 3x until finally another waitress took pity & food choice extremely limited for coeliacs. Shame as location and hotel facilities beautiful but this spoilt my experience sadly. If you have no issues with food, you will love it

We had a great weekend in Engel hotel. It was one of the most beautiful Wellness hotels in South Tirol. Amazing relaxing area, different kinds of saunas and breakfast. The reason why i gave 4 stars, the services of the staffs in restaurants were not the same. Some of them seemed very stressed or not really polite compare to the others. On second day, we went to the restaurant for the lunch. We asked one of the staffs where we can sit(We were wearing Bathropes.) He said, we can also have a table on the aisle side which people go through to the restaurant. But as soon as we started lunch, someone came to us and said we are not allowed to sit there with bathropes. We were so frustrated because we had a conversation even with german. We were not even alone, the other guests were having lunch and they had to move, too. We had a buffet style dinner on friday night. The meat was good but the fish was bit cold and the veggies were very salty.. And we waited for the dinner on a second day more than 30mins for the food and also for the check.. We arrived in a restaurant almost for the first guests but went to room almost for the last guests. We thought, there might be a problem with staff management. Maybe lack of staffs or something else. Without these problems, i would like to stay there one more time.

The owner Gerold is such a nice man, he's so hands on everything & always accessible to guests sincerely wanting guests to be satisfied, & will do everything to make sure you are 100% happy & your individual needs are catered to👍👍👍 The spa & entire hotel are incredibly beautiful, ultra contemporary from the second you step into the lobby, it is stunning😍 and unusual👌 The food, cakes & desserts are excellent👍

We had a pleasant stay at this resort. Outdoor pool area is lovely with gorgeous views and our child really enjoyed the water slides. Pool service was excellent. But over all the experience is a bit lacking and overpriced. 800 euro / night will get you a room with a view to a parking garage roof. Hotel hallways look like hospital with very basic decor. Food was good, but nothing memorable. Lobby is huge, but not cozy. Design is a bit all over the place. Smoking in the wellness areas should be forbidden, especially by the family pool. We had to leave twice because some guy was smoking a cigar (which also takes a while). In summary: don’t regret visiting, will not be coming back.

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at – especially when traveling with children. I combined this trip with both family time and work, and it was the perfect place for both. A big thank you to the entire service team during dinner, especially to Elisabeth and Marina. You could feel their experience. Special thanks to Mohamed at the bar - his hospitality truly stood out. Always funny and accommodated…overall a very talented bartender. The only issue I noticed there seems to be the internal hierarchy. It appears that he somewhat held back by the rest of the team. As a business owner myself, I recognize these dynamics. Breakfast, Dinner, Pool, Spa - I don‘t know if there is more you can expect. At least I am more than satisfied. At that point thanks to the guy who makes the sauna infusion. It seems that he does his job with passion. Overall, a fantastic experience that I can highly recommend.

Absolutely exceptional stay at Das Edelweiss in Salzburg! From the moment we arrived, the service, atmosphere, and attention to detail were outstanding. The rooms are elegant and cozy with breathtaking mountain views, and the spa is pure perfection — easily one of the best I’ve ever experienced. The food was divine, with every meal feeling like fine dining. A true blend of luxury and warmth — can’t wait to come back!

Loved my stay here. The hotel is new, super clean and stylish. The room was cozy and comfortable. Special thanks to Emma🫰at reception, she was incredibly kind, showed me around with a big smile, and helped me find my way when I got a bit lost in the big hotel🤣🤦🏼‍♀️ The sushi restaurant was great – fresh fish and very tasty. The spa and pools were spotless. One thing to note the SPA Adults only is a nude area, which isn’t mentioned clearly in advance. Not a big deal, but good to know😅 Hope to come back with my whole family next time. Totally recommend – just book early for winter holidays!

We had an amazing stay at DAS Edelweiss. From the hotel staff (Anna especially) to the facilities, the food and the overall experience was amazing. We really recommend this place for families - everyone is so “baby friendly”! One thing that we missed is the facilities for babies under 1 y/o and the option for care - this could even improve the stay, and we found out about it after our leave.

I came her with my family and we had a wonderful experience. The food was great and so was are waitress. The water park was really fun too and the pools were amazing, especially the sport pool outside. It had amazing views and the water was very nice. Also, all of my photos are of the hike I took near the hotel. It is called Saukarlm and the views are stunning and well earned.

Summary: great potential let down by lack of detail orientation I’ve stayed at this hotel before and on one hand it’s fantastic, who has water slides inside a hotel on the mountain?! Simply amazing. But they let the details slip and for the money, that matters. Service is sometimes slow and the staff is rather inattentive. Once at breakfast I informed the staff that the raspberries were moldy (which is gross and a detail they should catch), she nodded her head and later when I returned, the moldy raspberries were still there. The food was great but I didn’t like there are no drinks with dinner, which I guess is standard but 8 eur for a bottled water is offered as the default when tap water was also available. Last thing, I stopped here for a coffee as I expected it to be fantastic to the standard of a luxury place and instead I get the foam that comes out of a mass scale machine. Coffee was mediocre. What’s weird is they have a good coffee machine so it must be the barista I guess. “House made lemonade” is basic syrup and water. Not impressed.

Okay, yes I bought into the hype. We lined up on our second day and celebrated my birthday there. The ambiance is undeniable. It is decadent in every aspect. I have to say I understand why people want to gather there it is so beautiful, but trust me the famous sachertorte is a waste of money. The hype on this cake is 1000x overrated. I would have preferred any number of desserts ahead of this. And trust me it's no better at Demel or any other place. What Sacher Cafe has is a refined almost snouty heir that must be experienced. Go there for the experience get dessert somewhere else.

My family and I had coffee and cakes upstairs in the café. The children were delighted with the wonderful chandelier which hung by the stairs between the ground and first floor. Sachers was a breath of old and elegant Vienna after our visit to see the incredible Spanish Riding School performance.

Many thanks to the fantastic team at Sacher Hotel Wien who made our stay (03-06 Oct 25) so memorable. Although we had been to Vienna many times in the past this was our first time at the splendid Sacher, together with friends, and we were certainly not disappointed! A short guided tour allowed us to get our bearings before being shown to our elegant Signature Suite room with view. Following the most marvellous breakfast, blue skies greeted us on the first morning for our open top carriage tour together with silver tray Sacher Cuvee (arranged by the ever helpful concierge) from the front of the hotel. Our long weekend took in a fabulous performance of the Spanish Riding School only a short walk away. We had the pleasure of dining in the Rote Bar and enjoyed drinks in the delightful Blaue Bar whilst there, both of which we would highly recommend. A beautiful hotel and most wonderful experience all round, attributable in no small part to the truly outstanding group of colleagues who work there. We look forward to visiting again.

This was my first stay at the Sacher and first visit to Vienna. I was simply blown away by the incredible level of service, warmth, professionalism and the overall property itself. This place is special. From the amazing staff to the location to the wonderful rooms and restaurant the Sacher by far exceeded my expectations. Complaint Regarding Unprofessional Behavior at Sacher Restaurant I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the behavior of one of the supervisors in the black suit during my recent visit to the Sacher Restaurant. I kindly asked if I could sit at a table near the window, and the supervisor responded in a very rude and abrupt way, telling me it was reserved. However, shortly after, two guests who arrived after me requested to move to another table, and he immediately accommodated them without hesitation. This inconsistent treatment made me feel disrespected and unwelcome. I believe all guests should be treated with the same courtesy and professionalism, especially in an establishment known for its high standards. I hope you will look into this matter, as such behavior does not reflect the reputation of Hotel Sacher.

Absolutely wonderful stay. Very elegant room, filled with amenities, and the staff was top notch. We were very surprised to return to our room and find a delicious chocolate birthday cake, delivered by the management. Great location, and absolutely a highlight of our trip. A beautiful, one of the most amazing hotels I’ve ever stayed at! The building used to be a bank, and it’s stunning inside and out. Exceptional service for anything we ask for, the room was beautiful, the tub 🛁 was great and I used it almost everyday in the washroom! It made me feel I was in such a magical place, the location is so central to get to the main area and many historical places, I really loved every second!

Whether for a special occasion or a relaxed evening, this place offers a perfect balance of sophistication and comfort. Hotel location is perfect. The staff leave a lot to be desired. Front desk and bellman were awesome. Avoid breakfast buffet, staff were horrific and all underwhelming better dining around the hotel. The bar staff rude and stuffy. The hotel beds felt like sleeping on a hardwood floor. There are better 5 star hotels, this was our least favorite while visiting and traveling through Europe.

One of the most beautiful hotels in Austria's cities. Big, bagger, Hyatt. Style, friendlyness cosy and glamour atmosphere. Altough in the city centre, very quiete. Top address- always a pleassure

We stayed in the Alpine Hut Village and, while there were a few positives, the experience overall was disappointing for the price paid. On the upside, the public facilities are very good — the pools and saunas are excellent, and the food was consistently great. A few staff members were genuinely warm and welcoming. When we raised our concerns, the management seemed to genuinely care and tried to help, but unfortunately could not offer any practical solutions. The drawbacks, however, were quite significant. The rooms are dated and in need of renovation. Our room was not properly clean, and the mattresses in the kids’ room were old and lumpy. To the hotel’s credit, the staff immediately replaced the mattresses with new ones and cleaned the room, but at this price range we expected a higher standard from the start. There is also no air conditioning in the rooms or most hotel areas, which is not disclosed on the website. With no insect screens on the windows, opening them, for much needed fresh air in August, means letting in bees and mosquitoes. The Wi-Fi is weak and unreliable, often turns off; even the “VIP” hidden network offered by staff did not improve it. even if the internet is not a priority in such a vacation, the poor network made it close to impossible to plan activities, as even Google Maps often wouldn’t load. When we raised this with the general manager, his only response was, “I understand that Wi-Fi is something that is important for you...” — with no solution offered. While the hotel’s website is in English, it caters almost entirely to German-speaking guests. Most signs, written materials, and even the hotel map are only in German, leaving non-German speakers to guess their way around. Many staff members also struggle with English and can become impatient or frustrated. For a hotel in this price range, we expected basic amenities like working Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and a more inclusive guest experience. Compared to other hotels in Austria we stayed in — which were slightly less expensive yet far better in both comfort and service — this was a let-down.

Why is this a 4 star Hotel - it beats pretty much every 5 star Hotel I have been - and that’s like over 100 or more as I stopped counting This place is spectacular, kudos to the chef - give him a Michelin star, the wellness area leaves Erding in the shadow, room is excellent, I wish it wouldn’t be booked out that I could stay more than 5 nights

Marvellous! Very nice staff, extremly helpfull, wonderful spa area, great dinner and amazing breakfast. I also loved the free courses offered and the activities which keep the stay interesting. Also great spa treatments. Family friendly and yet calm quiet and peacefull.

We started our little family track from parking in Feuerberg to Gerlitzen. The resort looks great from outside with a lot of playgroungs, horses. Most of resort is close to public and you cannot visit their restaurants

Wonderful stay! The staff is incredibly polite and friendly. The spa and sauna fantastic, the views, the clean and comfortable facilities… make sure you have good winter tires in the winter when coming here as the road is steep and snowy. But what a lovely location on the top! The desserts at dinner are especially amazing. We will return.

An excellent hotel located right next to the ski slope. All hotel workers are extremely friendly, especially the hotel owners and Sebastian. The food is very good. The ski school is located right next to the hotel. We will surely come here every couple of months because this hotel is one of the best

I'm really sorry to leave a negative review without having been a guest at this beautiful hotel, but I found it absurd to have to pay 9 euros to access the hotel parking. Another review from a few years ago had suggested at least informing at the entrance about the 9-euro fee upon exit. However, the feedback wasn't taken into consideration. You only wrote a lie in the response. There's nowhere at the entrance of the barriers stating that non-guests were required to pay the toll. We only stayed for a couple of hours. Typically, legal requirements involve providing clear information to individuals entering private premises, especially when financial obligations are involved.

This is not my first stay at this hotel, and I’m always excited to come back. The service and atmosphere are excellent. Every corner of the interior feels thoughtfully designed and created with soul. The fireplace and the relaxing spa area in autumn 🍂 are simply amazing — the best natural antidepressant! Highly recommend.

Very well thought through hotel that blends family and luxury into an experience that seeks its own. Seldomly seen so much attention to details (and I have seen a lot). Among other things, color pencils at the kids corner were always sharp in the morning. Make sure to come when flu season isn’t in full swing🕺🏽😶‍🌫️

Outstanding in every way! This was our second time at the hotel (both times in summer) and our favorite resort in all of Austria to stay in. It’s exceptional for even young families - my toddler adored his caregiver and my 7 year old loved pony camp! The rooms have stunning views and are beautiful and modern, the food is incredible and the staff is the absolute best and take care of every need. The family that own and run the hotel personally welcome you at meal times, and you can really tell how much they love and care for their guests. When the children are in the kids club, the spa and saunas are such a treat and relaxing. This resort is perfect because it’s an amazing all inclusive for families yet feels very luxurious and fun for adults too. I could not recommend this hotel more.

We spent a week here to play golf and relax. And for that it is perfect. A few things to note: Our room was wonderful. Very relaxing, with lots of wood. The beds were a little hard for us but after asking if anything could be done this was changed the same day without any problems. The food was just excellent. I've been to other spa-resorts but considering the size of the hotel the food was indeed noticably excellent. I guess better food would only be possible in a massively smaller hotel. I also enjoyed the live-cooking station. Entertainment: if you like to play golf, the hotel is perfectly situated. Also if you enjoy spending all day in the spa. It's less optimal for skiing since you first need to drive for at lest 30-45minutes. Easy hiking seems also possible without problems. The entertainment in the evening was quite astounding. There was a casino night, winetastings (big recommendation, that was awe-inspiring but bring a looot of time), and staff-shows. Most importantly: the friendlyness and helpfulness of staff - which in turn made the guests also being very friendly to each other. In short: while it is an expensive stay, it's one that's well worth the money.

An unforgettable stay in the heart of Vienna! Hotel Sans Souci Wien is truly a hidden gem combining art, design, and warmth. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcomed. The lobby felt like stepping into a private gallery — every corner was thoughtfully designed with art pieces by Roy Lichtenstein and elegant touches by Philippe Starck’s YOO team. We stayed in the Master Suite, and it exceeded all expectations. The Vi-Spring bed was incredibly comfortable, the marble bathroom with a freestanding tub was luxurious, and the entire space felt both cozy and refined. Breakfast at Veranda Brasserie was another highlight — from the champagne service to freshly prepared dishes, it was a perfect Viennese morning. The 20-meter indoor pool under crystal chandeliers and the Sans Souci Spa made it easy to unwind after a day exploring the MuseumsQuartier, which is just a few minutes’ walk away. We had a perfect stay at the Sans Souci Hotel for 6 nights. The level of cleanliness in the hotel in general and in the rooms is impeccable. The room was spacious and equipped with everything we needed, we loved the room design and the luxurious balcony. The entire hotel staff is very professional, courteous and has a high level of service awareness. We really liked and appreciated the room service, how wonderful it is to be able to order coffee of any kind to the room and at no additional cost. The breakfast in the tastefully decorated hotel restaurant was excellent - unique, very tasty and unusual. The option to order from the menu in addition to the buffet was special and provided an unusual dining experience. The restaurant staff was welcoming, cordial and professional, their service awareness is extremely high. Many thanks to the excellent chef and especially to the entire restaurant staff for an excellent experience. The excellent location of the hotel, which is within walking distance of the old city center, very close to a metro station and in general, is an excellent starting point for exploring and spending time in Vienna. There is no doubt that on our next visit to Vienna we will return to the Sans Souci Hotel. Highly recommended

I cannot adequately express how incredible our experience at this hotel was! The staff is so kind and the food was fantastic. The rooms were beautiful and roomy. The location is perfect - near the major attractions and just across the street from the underground. It was my wife’s birthday and they surprised her with a cake at breakfast! This was one of most memorable hotel experiences. We plan to visit Vienna again sometime in the near future and will definitely be staying here again!

The hotel itself was good, the location was super comfortable to visit different tourist locations. The room was fine, we got twin beds and they were weirdly low, and i personally did not love that the toilet was a different room than that of the shower. The staff was helpful, and they had free coffee that they brought to your room extremely quickly which was very nice. The breakfast lacks a bit of variety (more fruits for example), but its fine.I enjoyed my stay, and I will recommend.

Hotel Sans Souci Wien is a beautifully designed boutique hotel in the heart of Vienna, just steps from the MuseumsQuartier. Our Junior Suite was spacious and stylish with a freestanding tub, heated floors, and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious, and we loved the 24-hour complimentary Viennese coffee. The spa is a standout, especially the stunning heated indoor pool (longest one in Vienna). Highly recommended!

We were not the easiest guests, traveling with a three-year-old and a cat, but the way we were treated at the hotel was truly exceptional. There was a genuine personal touch to everything. We could request room cleaning while we went for a walk with our cat, which was incredibly convenient. What I appreciated most was how well the hotel caters to families. There are many separate areas where guests with children can have fun, including a fantastic spa zone with a heated swimming pool and four saunas where swimsuits are allowed. There's also an absolutely breathtaking adults-only spa area with warm and cold pools and a wide variety of saunas. The playground was great, but we were even more impressed by the kids' club. My daughter loves crafting, and we created masterpieces there every day. The variety of materials and activities available was beyond what I even have at home! We also loved the daily menu selections and the flexibility the hotel provided. The service was outstanding. The live music concerts held twice a week were the cherry on top. And, of course, the stunning natural surroundings were perfect for guests of all ages and fitness levels. Every day, we discovered a new hiking trail—often based on recommendations from the hotel’s daily newsletter. You can feel that this is a family-run hotel, and the family truly cares about their guests. Thank you for the best vacation ever. We will definitely be back!

This is the best hotel we’ve ever been to, hands down. We chose this hotel specifically for our honeymoon and we were staying in the penthouse suite on a half board basis (breakfast and dinner). Everything was so meticulously thought out; from the countless amounts of experiences you could attend (like yoga and even bike rental), to the rooms and the cleanliness of the hotel in general. We really enjoyed attending the cooking class with the head chef, and in general, the food was to die for, without fail. The penthouse suite itself is something else, it was beautiful and with everything you could possibly imagine (blankets, bath salts, lotions, fresh fruit). The wellness area is not only beautiful, but deeply relaxing and world-class; we really enjoyed attending the sauna and peeling experiences, as well as the massages themselves. Finally, staff were really friendly and by the end, we felt like regulars at this hotel; we really appreciated the complimentary jam they gave us at the end as well. We will definitely be back!

Highly recommend this beautiful, family-run hotel. The rooms are so comfortable and the spa is the best I've seen. Spent 9 days here snowboarding and went for half board. You'll have everything you need and the friendliest staff ever. Stayed here twice already and I know I'll be back.

WOW! What a hotel and location! From the moment we arrived our experience started and we were immediately treated as important guests, the level of service was truly excellent! Every member of the team was kind courteous and welcoming! The location is simply stunning and the hotel perfectly situated to make the most of the panoramic mountain views and local hiking/biking and walking. The hotel is very family friendly with a separate family spa which is luxurious in its own right with indoor and outdoor pools, the adult only spa offers a beautiful escape and private space when needed. (This area just blew us away!) Our two bedroom family suite was spotlessly clean, modern and offered the perfect place for quiet rest, especially with ultra comfy beds. The team have thought of everything even down to the smallest details with a rucksack, spa bag and children’s robes supplied in the room to name a few. We immediately felt at home in the hotel and that we could be ourselves and able to explore all of the special features and spaces of the buildings which are steeped in history. The restaurant has a perfect balance of a relaxed atmosphere during the day transitioning to a cosy luxurious evening meal time experience. We were totally blown away with the food, so much choice and selection of amazing food. We were impressed with the selection of menus for the set dinners and additional supplement menus if you didn’t fancy something. For a small addition we opted for the sharing steak for a birthday treat and like every other meal, this was exceptional! It is obvious from spending only a few hours in the hotel that being a family run business and a hands on approach, each member of the team is committed to giving a very high level of service and experience. The holiday was a surprise for my partners 40th birthday and I stumbled across the hotel on a web search, I am so glad I did and grateful to the Boeglerhof team for making the surprise and experience one of our best! We will definitely be back!

Nesslerhof is by far one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. From start to finish, the entire experience was absolutely fantastic. The food was phenomenal—beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and every detail was thoughtfully adjusted to accommodate my celiac disease. I felt completely safe and cared for, which is rare and deeply appreciated. Our room was stunning—spacious, elegant, and incredibly comfortable. The spa is truly exceptional, offering total relaxation, and the natural pond and swimming pool are surrounded by breathtaking scenery that makes you feel like you’re in a dream. Everything about Nesslerhof exceeded expectations. The warmth, attention to detail, and beauty of the place left a lasting impression. I can’t wait to return.

THE BEST! Our stay at the Nesslerhof was absolutely wonderful, with warm hospitality and a real sense of care from everyone we met. The spa area was incredible, the food was outstanding, and the rooms were beautiful with super comfortable beds. Absolutely incredible experience staying at this magnificent hotel. We came from California and there is nothing like this in the states for the price, quality and service. Our room was huge and newly remodeled, the food was delicious and plentiful, the service friendly and not over-bearing. The fitness classes were the only (mild) disappointment, but there are so many epic hiking options as well as a terrific gym when the weather does not cooperate. Thank you so much Nesslerhof, we will be back some day for skiing!

We had great experience in this hotel. We had great room with spectacular view and a tub in the balcony. The staff were helpful and friendly. The restaurant was excellent.

You really feel the happiness and enjoy every single moment, what I loved the most is the clear attention to all details. Our car key ran out of battery, and the team (lead by the hotel owner) offered to support and replaced the battery themselves within 5 minutes (car rental road assistance was not responding), this simple action saved the day and reflect the absolute care of the guests. Just got back from an incredible holiday staying at Nesslerhof. The location is perfect across the road from a gondola up the mountain. The skiing is also great as although the snow isn't good this year Grossarl has great infrastructure and artificial snow provision. Nesslerhof however is quite simply fantastic. The pool and spa are amazing, the rooms spacious and comfortable. But what really sets it apart are the staff and the food. The service and attention to detail is second to none. It is a family business and it really shows, they really care and you will never feel more welcome. Then we come to the food. The quality of the food is almost unbelievable, it is like eating in a fine dining restaurant every single night. So many memorable dinners and courses, truly exceptional. We have already booked to go back next year and I honestly cannot wait!!

Amazing location, service was good however we paid for a room that included bikes (so we paid extra), we almost didn’t get the bikes if it weren’t for the nice guy renting them , at the reception they told us when we were checking out that we have to pay full price for the bikes we already paid extra for (we didn’t end up paying for them but we had to tell them so be sure to check your receipt thoroughly). They also forget to mention when you book your room that you have to book the bikes as fast as you can, because when we arrived they told us no bikes were available for us (thank goodness for the guy that rents the bikes because thanks to him we were able to have them). Otherwise food is delicious, amazing spa, great service, great location for all types of hikes, just this small problem.

The hotel looks nice and clean, the view is beautiful, the food is very nice and the room we were in was somewhat updated. There are multiple things that stood out negatively: - upon arrival going to have a late lunch, almost all tables in the small seating area had dirty plates and glasses on them. Even the waiter was disgusted by it. - there is no all-you-can-drink coffee, having to pay for coffee in such priced-hotel in the afternoon, even with the lunch, not accustomed to this. The machine is right there, just keep it on for the guests?! - upon entering the room #100, the first thing visible, a hole in the curtain. - water didn’t run smoothly out of the basin in the room. - upon exiting the room, the first thing visible, a vacuum cleaner. Who wants to see this standing in front of their door when on vacation? - the spa area by the pool didn’t have towels nor snacks, at reception I was told their dryer broke that day.. - the large spa area had overflowing dirty towels and almost no clean ones left. - the fitness machines hadn’t been dusted off in a while. All these were pointed out to the Mrs. Pfister at check-out, who shrugged them off… The true value shows in the details and the appreciation of constructive feedback…

Our second stay at ZillergrundRock was absolutely fantastic. The room, the spa, the quality of the food, and especially the service were extraordinary. Louis at the restaurant provided remarkable service, ensuring everything was perfect for us. We love this hotel and will definitely return!

Incredible location and views. Every member of staff goes out of their way to ensure you have the best time. The included fine-dining meals are fantastic and varied, with a mix of supplementing buffet options so you are never hungry. The hotel organises and included e-bike trips, wine tasting with local vineyards, and much more at no extra cost. We have had the best time, and will be returning again!

From the moment we arrived, the experience at this hotel felt disconnected. We checked in around 7:30 p.m. and were told to come back another night for the welcome drink because the restaurant was closing soon. A welcome drink takes two minutes — it’s supposed to set the tone and make guests feel at home. Instead, it felt rushed and impersonal. The inconsistency continued. Some staff wore uniforms, while others were in casual street clothes. For example, I had booked a couples massage, which turned out to be two separate massages in different rooms. The gentleman checking my wife in for her massage was dressed casually, and then went on to give her the treatment. It felt unprofessional and out of place for a luxury resort. Dinner service was equally disappointing. Our server knew we were American, yet the table next to us carried on loudly with negative political commentary about America. Instead of helping create a pleasant atmosphere, staff even participated in the disapproval of American politics, making us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. This is my holiday — I don’t need to hear that while trying to enjoy dinner. The food itself was not much better. Meals leaned heavily on the buffet, with the “main course” one night being a single sliver of flank steak. If you’re going to offer all-inclusive rates, the dining should feel complete, not like an afterthought. By the third night, we chose not to eat in-house at all. Overall, everything at Zillergrund Rock felt disjointed and disappointing. For a property that positions itself as a luxury mountain resort, the service, professionalism, and dining experience simply did not match the expectation.

Food was delicious, some of the best hotel food I've had in all of Tyrol and South Tyrol, some dishes remind me of Michelin star restaurants I've been to. I appreciate the attention to detail like labeling everything (labels where missing for the microgreens though) and great selection at the salad/food bar. Great regional cuisine and local/regional ingredients! The oranges for the juicer tasted great and made excellent tasting fresh squeezed orange juice, the eggs used for breakfast tasted great and made for an amazing omelet! It was a bit strange seeing a tip line for the kitchen AND server, perhaps this is common but I've never come across it before, not even at hotels that cost 2x more per night so I was a bit surprised. Service overall was great, friendly and warm; generally excellent professionalism which is more than I can say for other more expensive hotels in the region. The property did seem a bit understaffed during our visit though. Twice I visited the lobby/bar area and found no staff. The location is amazing, we loved it! Nestled right in the middle of a narrow valley in between two mountains which gives it a very private feel even though it's only 10 minutes away form the center of town. The amenities and views are good and some like the sky pool are awesome, the outside areas are nicely laid out with wonderful views and overall fantastic. I was told that during this time of the year the shuttle doesn't run into town and we have to advise them 1 day in advanced to make sure they have a driver available even for something that's on their weekly event calendar. It should be made clear on the website that the transportation service works differently during certain times of the year so we can plan accordingly. I feel like more focus on the advertised activities would be helpful, it felt like an afterthought even though people mention doing many wonderful activities through the hotel. Our room was nice but the location of the room was a little disappointing considering the category of the room was in the middle in terms of price yet the room we where put in was on the second floor directly over the front entrance of the hotel looking down on the parking lot and into the parking garage, so we had to keep the curtain closed on that side of the room to avoid looking at that while in the room. The bidet was a nice touch but the touch screen remote was overly complicated, the towel warmer never worked after the first night, the shower gets very slippery due to the poor design choice on flooring, there is no place to put anything in the shower other than the floor, your shaving supplies for example. The bed sunk in the middle a lot and appears to be made of solid foam which retains a lot of heat, i was up in the middle of the night every night soaked. This is a common issue with these types of mattresses. Thankfully the property didn't seem too busy and was relatively quiet so I really go to enjoy it but I do regret not partaking in all of the amenities like the spa services. As you can see there where some issues and concerns but overall I had a wonderful time and I would definitely come back here again! Edit: I just finished writing this review when I saw their social media post about receiving a Michelin key again for 2025! Congratulations!

An incredible hotel - we had an amazing time. The whole concept of the place is just ‘cool’ in every way. Stylish and luxury, yet relaxed. The staff - everyone from the lovely housekeepers who make your room to the bar staff, reception staff - everyone couldn’t do enough for us. Definitely make sure you have Monday night dinner! We’ll be back for sure! I can’t recommend this place enough.

Perfect place! Everything was perfect. The hotel is beautiful and very well designed, with all the small details that spoil your stay - like afternoon snack, or free e-scooters to go in the area. The breakfast is very rich, everything you want, and with amazing view. The room has the best view in Tirol. The stuff are very kind and welcoming. I can go on and on, the bottom line is that coolnest is one of the best hotels that we ever been in, with the best breakfast, best view, best pool, best Wellness treatment and sauna, best stuff, best everything.

A wonderful and unique place! We arrived for a 4-day (3-night) stay, and to our surprise, upon check-in we discovered that our reservation did not exist in their system — despite having the official confirmation from the hotel. It turned out the hotel was overbooked. However, the staff handled the situation exceptionally well: they arranged for us to stay at a nearby hotel for the first night, and welcomed us to Coolnest for the remaining two nights. The hotel took full responsibility, did not charge us for our entire stay, treated us to a complimentary dinner, and continuously checked in to make sure we were comfortable. It’s important to note that even in unexpected situations, this hotel knows how to respond with professionalism and care, ensuring guests still enjoy an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended — we will definitely be coming back! :)

This hotel is really special. We loved the room, the decor, the large space of the room. We had access to a yard, which was very nice. The view was spectacular!!! In the room you have a coffee and tea machine, fridge and a microwave. For a family it was a bit strange the shower has a door facing the living area, and a sink in the middle of the room, so you don’t have a special room for the shower and the sink, but it’s manageable. There was a lot of room for the suitcases, which was really great. The breakfast was nice, there were enough options of vegetables and fruits, eggs, cheeses, some meat, breads, and more. The staff were very friendly. We had dinner at the roof restaurant which was ok - not amazing. On mondays the restaurant upstairs is closed so they have an alternative in the dinning room next to the lobby. There aren’t many options, and the service is slow (but all restaurants here ave a slow service). There aren’t any options for kids on that Monday restaurant. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Very good stay. Welcome very relaxing with welcome drink at sun terrace. They will empty your car and bring everything to the room. Ski in - ski out very easy. Nice ski lockers. Personnel goes above standards. Felix as a waiter is incredible. He really makes your dinner next level. Rooms very nice and big. Wellness area incredible with lots of options. Breakfast and dinner very good, you can request as much as you like. Incredible wine list with very nice local options. Points of improvement: - not able to regulate temperature in room - no milk cups in room for coffee We hope to return in the coming years!

Our stay at this luxury hotel nestled in the breathtaking mountains was nothing short of extraordinary. We got the summer card and it made it much easier for activities! Now onto the staff. They were truly the heart of this hotel. Their friendliness and genuine care made me feel like a valued guest from start to finish. They were always ready with a smile and went out of their way to ensure that every aspect of our stay was perfect. The dining experience was another highlight. The food was of the highest quality, and we loved the different meals each day. Each meal was a culinary journey, enhanced by the exquisite mountain setting. Overall, this hotel is a gem, offering unparalleled luxury, comfort, and hospitality. Whether you're looking for adventure, relaxation, or a bit of both, this is the perfect place to escape and recharge. I can't wait to return!

We had a great time! Perfect care from parking the car to the dinner! The hotel is clean, the staff is perfect. Especially the sommelier Jan Smetak was the one who made our stay perfect for us! Not just by wine service, he knows what a guest needs and sees you ❤️ Have a drink in the Sky Bar in the evening, the bartenders are world class. You don't see that in the mountain hotels very often. We had perfect Negronis and great conversations. What we would change: breakfast time from 7:00 and move the lift openings right below the hotel earlier, the lifts above the hotel are already running and you can't get to them in the morning except by ski down to the town. Which the hotels in Hochsölden could try to push through with the lift provider ,-) Dinner time was not very comfortable for us, tables are too close to each other, no privacy for a romantic dinner. We will be back for sure! Thank you!

Location is amazing, can’t be better for a skiing holiday. The food was delicious, every evening the good was incredible and the breakfast were mega. Spa facilities were also up there. Don’t have anything to complain about.

We had a wonderful stay, we enjoyed it from the very first second till the last. The setting and views are amazing, the room and bathroom very comfortable, the welness with outdoor swimming pool and panoramic sauna are a great treat after a skiing day. Breakfast, dinner and the afternoon snack are very tasteful . We lòved again the views in the panorama restaurant. Couldn’t get enough of it. And last but not least: the staff is amazing! This hotel knows what hospitality is all about. We will be back!

Great stay here at Wiesergut The location is perfect - you are right beside the cable car station. The rooms are beautiful and all of the staff here is extremly friendly and attentive. If you want to lend some ski-gear you will get picked up right infront of the hotel and brought back again. And the food is just plenty and yummie. The spa is small but you got everything that you need to relax ;) Had a really great time here.

We loved our stay in the suites, where we had the fireplace going almost every evening, enjoying ourselves by relaxing in the spa area or in our own hot tub. The atmosphere oozes retained luxe and hints for the mountains as it should. The location is perfect as the ski lift is closeby. This also means that when lounging in the suite people could still look in if they wanted to, perhaps this is something I would have changed if possible. I also had a less friendly run-in with the owner, unfortunately. Therefore I only give it 3 stars, as unfriendly owners do take a serious bite out of a perfect vibe. Especially for this price range.

Very sophisticated hotel in a great location. Sadly we didn’t stay here but we went for an afternoon drink to bask in the glorious sunshine. My kids looked longingly at the outdoor pool which did look very nice! Unfortunately I don’t think my kids are well behaved enough for me to properly relax at this hotel - there’s definitely an air of “children should be seen but not heard” which is perfectly fine by me. It just means next time I shall have to leave them behind to enjoy my drink more!

The Hochfirst is a well-run hotel. The service and food are absolutely first class, and the spa is modern and clean. The Skiroom is well organized and very useful and you can walk straight to a lift that takes you to the slopes. I gave the room four stars because it was overheated and wasn’t possible to cool down without having the window open, and there can be some road noise as the hotel is on the main thoroughfare. Also, the gym is extremely subpar, very small with dated and incomplete equipment. Lastly, although the hotel is ski-in and ski-out, the Hochgurgl ski area is larger than the Obergurgl area thus you’ll lose time taking the gondola across the valley to Hochgurgl. Thus if you are on a short trip, staying in Hochgurgl makes more sense. But o verall, the resort has a huge gondola density which means we never waited for a lift despite being there in a German holiday week. Despite these small shortcomings, I’d still highly recommend the hotel for its cuisine and service and would gladly return.

The most perfect hotel! Came back this week for lunch as staying in a hotel further along and the staff remembered us from last year. Within minutes we was offered slippers and our jackets taken and put in the warmer to dry off. We stayed for lunch and drinks which was delicious. This hotel and its staff are wonderful and I can’t wait to come back and stay again soon. Thank you!

Excellent location, facilities, service and room (indoor / outdoor pool very much a highlight). Tries a little too hard in the dinner menu - a broader range of more traditional ski-food would be preferable to a daily 6 course menu (selection for vegetarian child was also more limited than we had expected). Requests for tap water over dinner were also initially met by a €10 bottle of mineral water, which is a very unnecessary annoyance. Overall a 5, but below that on food selection.

Hotel owners were nice and welcoming but the hotel was overpriced when compared to similar properties in the Alps including Switzerland with absolute no atmosphere and full of big groups of men on a boys trip. Hospitality staff were all nice and tried their best but many untrained. Cleaning staff was excellent - the highlight! Manager was useless probably because we weren’t returning guests. We left a few days early as the snow was poor and we weren’t loving the atmosphere of the hotel. Got charged € 5000 for leaving early after a ten/eleven day stay with the hotel at 40% capacity but don’t regret the decision as we had a great finish to our holiday in the Engadine. I wouldn’t book again and wouldn’t recommend knowing what else is around in the same class category - perhaps the 80% returning guests should explore a bit. The most incapable with the most attitude was the young reception staff at the hotel. Ugly spa facilities! Food was good but nothing special. The egg station at breakfast is the weirdest cooking station I have ever experienced staffed by an equally weird chef (Chef???). Out of 7 hotels all five star this was the second worst in our opinion.

Six Stars We visited Zürserhof on a ski trip with our two sons on the recommendation of a friend who has the best travel advice of anyone we know. His batting average remains unblemished: Zürserhof was fantastic in every way. The location in Zurs turned out to be fantastic since it had the best snow of all the interconnected mountains on account of having the highest elevation. It is a short walk to the lift. The in-house Brandle ski shop had all the gear we need. (Note: The sister shop of the same name near the gondola was simply amazing at fixing our sons' boots.) The ski lockers for storing skis had the added bonus of heated boot lockers. The dining was fantastic, as was the dining room itself. One of the very best breakfast buffets we've ever seen. Dinners were terrific also, with the bonus of amazing salad and cheese bars. An extensive wine list with prices that were fair. What set the meals apart, however, was the service. The maître d' (Luca?) was amazingly attentive. All the servers were terrific also, with a special callout to one server who we had most often (name escapes us), but it would be hard to differentiate among the staff given how constantly stellar the service was, including at the comfy lounge. We frequently also saw family member owners checking in with guests (including us). The rooms were terrific. Our sons stayed in a standard room, which was more than adequate for them. We stayed in a suite, which we really enjoyed also. Both had second toilets, which is a nice bonus. Our only nags would be my wife found the mattress a bit firm, the pillows could be a bit thicker, and we had to crack the windows at night to get the room as cold as we like (which is pretty cold), but that is typical to mountain accommodations everywhere we go. What else? The front desk staff (basically, concierge) were very helpful in setting up off-property dining, sending a shuttle to pick us up, or whatever help we needed, before, during or even after our stay. For reference, when we stay at hotels, we typically stay at properties at the Ritz Carlton level, albeit preferring boutique brands where you are a guest the staff remembers by name and the service a bit more personalized. Züserhof lived up to that expectation in every way.

I had an amazing stay at Park Igls for an intensive detox program. I can only recommend such an experience because it is one of the unique opportunities to focus on the own health for a full week (or longer). The Team is so caring, experienced and professional that no worry is left with the traveler. They take care of absolutely everything to make us feel relaxed and to concentrate on enjoying and deeply find again ourselves far away from everyday stress and commitments. The landscape is gorgeous and the mountains are so close that it seems to touch them. For those who want to discover the culture in the surroundings (e.g. Innsbruck) there are several activities organised by Park Igls. Highly recommended is not enough to describe this experience. Excellent yearly retreat for me. A great time to reset, relax and lose some weight. Top notch facilities in lovely setting, with a wide variety of activities. If the weather cooperates, there are stunning walks and hikes nearby.

I spent another relaxing week at the Park in March. This is my third visit and I intend to return annually. The village of Igls is surrounded by mountains, and there are plenty of walking routes to choose from. Treatments are excellent and there are plenty of activities to enjoy outside of your medical package. Highly recommended.

I have recently returned from a week long medical detox programme at Park Igls. I cannot rate this highly enough. I have a very healthy and active lifestyle and wanted, as I was turning 60, validation, or otherwise that I was on the right track. Despite my healthy diet, I am constantly injured and take a long time to recover. With all of the tests in the medical detox programme, my week gave me the answers I was looking for. I now know that my lifestyle is, in the main, keeping me very healthy but I also have the likely answer for my injuries and slow recovery. I also have a plan to rectify the issue. I was absolutely living my best life at Park Igls, between the medical checks and all the activities and treatments available I was like a woman possessed, planning my days to make sure that I made the most of my time there. A big mention to Dr Breit and the medical team for whom nothing was too much trouble. The rest of the staff were also amazing, from reception to physios, restaurant staff, and the team that managed the IHHT and Kneippen, all so friendly, welcoming and helpful. The rooms are basic but exceptionally clean and to be honest, I wasn’t there for a luxurious room. I was so busy with my activities that the time I spent in there was limited. I was on level 3 of the Mayr detox so my food was limited in variety, not helped, I suspect, that my diet is plant based. That said, everything was was really tasty and I never felt hungry. If it is within people’s means, I cannot recommend Park Igls highly enough. Most people seemed to go as individuals and that is something I would highly recommend. If you take your health seriously, as I do, then you need to be a little bit selfish and have complete focus on yourself to get the most from your time at the clinic. To everyone at Park Igls, thank you so much for making my week such an enjoyable and valuable experience. I hope to be back next year.

Went here for a one week detox stay with my wife in mid April. Dr. Gatt and all the staff are super attentive and helpful. In terms of detox food, although very basic as per the Lanserhof method, I found the food to be quite tasty. But that’s just me. I especially enjoyed the physiotherapist here. He is very knowledgeable and helped identify the root cause of my chronic leg problem after years of misdiagnoses. Treatment-wise, the craniosacral therapy was my favorite, followed by the -110c cryo therapy. The massages were a bit disappointing, but then again we are spoiled, coming from Thailand. One thing that needs improving is the nurses’ needle inserting skill for IV drips. They bruised both my arms, which has never happened before ever.

As a lover of Hundertwasser's Architecture, I asked my Mum if we could visit here when I came for my holiday this year (21-06-25). We didn't have a pass for the Spa, neither were we staying, we just came to look round. The staff didn't have a problem with that. Given the nature of the architecture of the spa and unusualness, they are probably used to people coming to have a look round and take pictures. Upon arrival, it is very colourful, the grounds are vast, its only as you start to walk round, you get a feel for how huge this place is. The walkway paths in the Spa are topsy turvy, even the toilets have mosaic tile, everywhere you turn, there is attention to detail. There are models of the Spa and potential accommodation to be built on an already expansive area. The spa is centred on the pool being in the middle and spas/treatments around the sides and then accommodation all around in various buildings. I had a lot of fun looking around, taking in the architecture, the colours, shapes, it is beautiful. Prices are not expensive, neither cheap but modest, it looked like a wonderful place to stay to relax. There is ample space for parking and although the spa is huge, it doesn't feel overcrowded. It has a nice ambience.

My idea of heaven: Lots of water, not too many people, and great food. We did the VIP package to accommodate last minute visitors and thoroughly enjoyed the cheese platter and wine, as well as napping on the day beds.

This is a great place for a truly memorable, unique and relaxing spa vacation, close to Vienna, less than 2 hour drive. My wife and I have stayed here for 3 nights with a friends couple and definitely recommend staying for at least that long to really relax, soak in the atmosphere and explore all this place has to offer. The architecture and design by Hundertwasser are unique and amazing, making the walk to the spa, strolling around the hotel or outside interesting and a bit different each time. There are many indoor and outdoor pools with hot water, warm enough even for my cold-sensitive wife's preference. The best was the Vulkania thermal spring, which reminded me of my visit to the famous "Blue Lagoon" in Iceland. The staff kindles small fires around the spring in the evening, creating a superb and romantic ambiance. The Volcano show is a nice addition too. There are closed walking passages from the rooms to the pools/spa, so you can leave the room in a bathrobe and also eat breakfast in a bathrobe at the spa restaurant. The Hot Stone Massage I did was excellent and very professional. There is a good selection of different types of saunas. All are mixed gender textile free according to the Austrian sauna tradition, we like it and it feels very natural. If you have an issue with this, then you should avoid the saunas and stick to the spa as there are no swimsuits allowed saunas. We ate in "Lebensfroh", "Obendrauf" and "RegenTag" restaurants. The food was good with a nice variety, unfortunately we didn't eat at the GenussReich restaurant. The major point of improvement is the textile free warm water pool in the sauna area. It is very small, so it gets crowded and the location/design is rather unwelcoming compared to such pools at other Austrian spa hotels I have visited, such as "Aqua Dome" and "TAUERN SPA". The bottom line, I highly recommend "Rogner Bad Blumau" as a place you must visit at least once due to its uniqueness, and it is definitely a place you can revisit many times. We surely will stay here again in the future!

Unexpectedly reasonable price (2000€ for 2 people / 5 days in the busiest season) for how luxuriant the place is. Buffet Dinner is especially recommended. Brief walking tour is available if you're interested in the background of the place. Don't ignore the Saunas! Edit: I've been here a handful of times now. I'd like to share that we asked about possibilities to eat in a quieter place via email (for disability reasons). To our delight, in addition to responding with some options, they reserved a table for us in one of the quieter rooms without remark! That dinner was excellent even beyond the food :)

I love this place. It’s magical. At the entrance you will be greeted by cows grazing on the meadows surrounded by apple trees. Did I mention that you can pick the apples right off the tress and take a tasty bite. Everything is incredibly clean. Stay for the night, there is a real life volcano show. There is a bar outside where you can take sips of cocktails prepared with ultimate care while you relax in the jacuzzi. The architecture is splendid.

Very original and organised location. Towels included. We loved the water park and the restaurant was ok, the food maybe not amazing but good. The best part is absolutely the buildings... Very original and well-kept. Beautiful gardens. We did not stay in the hotel though so can't tell you about it. Maybe a bit expensive but amazing. A very zen place!

Great place for an all inclusive experience in Tirol. We loved the daily hikes and exercise classes as well as the saunas. The food is incredible...and plentiful. For us, as English only speakers, everyone at the hotel spoke enough English to provide excellent service. Gorgeous setting too, only an hour train ride from Munich making it easy to get to as well.

Once again we had a wonderful stay at Hotel Kaiserhof in Ellmau. The service is sublime, the room lovely and - last but not least - the Kaiserhof team is incredibly attentive and sweet. A gem in the Austrian Alps with the luxury of a five-star superior location and with the warmth of a family business that makes us feel right at home every time. We hope till next year!

I had a wonderful experience staying at the Kaiserhof Ellmau for 3 nights as a single female traveller (I am the wife of FG guy). The facilities, including saunas and guest rooms, were exceptional. Fitness and recreation staff Heidi and Daniela were knowledgeable and helpful to me - I was able to enjoy the autumn beauty of the Tyrolean mountains on the hiking and e-bike excursions they planned. Dining and housekeeping staff were attentive and kind. A special acknowledgement to Sarah at reception who helped with my last-minute reservation and transportation arrangements. Overall, I felt the hotel was a great value in late autumn, due to the quality of food, service and facilities. My one small complaint is the excessive cost of the carafes of table water offered by servers at dinner every evening, which I assumed would be included in the half-board price.

I have known the hotel since I was a child and have always enjoyed staying there. Our last stay at the Kaiserhof was unplanned and this time with husband and baby. The team helped us immediately as we were not prepared for a vacation. The expansion has added even more charm to the hotel and you feel like you are at home. The rooms are very nicely furnished and spacious, the entire team is very friendly and accommodating, and the cuisine is excellent. Thanks to the whole team, but especially thanks to Bianca Lampert, the unplanned vacation became a wonderful first vacation with our son. You always feel welcome and at home, both as a child and as an adult. A compliment to the family Lampert for their Kaiserhof and a big thank you to the entire team for the wonderful vacation!

This was one of our best hotels, and proximity to Old Town was excellent. The hotel was clean and front desk staff very helpful apart from one night when there was very loud singing, yelling, etc outside. By 12:30 I called front desk for help and was told there was nothing they could do. Later I realized housekeeping had opened our windows, which they did on subsequent days despite our having A/C on. Closing them made all the difference. Having the hot tub and steam room, etc was an added bonus.

Nice hotel. Walking distance to old town, restaurants, and cable car to Innsbruck summit. Staff are friendly and accomodating, we had some hiccups with our booking but they managed to sort it out quickly. Good selection of breakfast. Our room is clean with lovely mountain views.

This hotel is located in central of Innsbruck and not to far from the Innsbruck train station. The room is convenient and reasonable also include breakfast. And with friendly and helpful staff. If you stay here over 3 nights you will get the free public transportation in Innsbruck too. I am really recommended 😁

I got asked by maps fir the 10th time to write an review because I am ofter here so this is my review. I am here a couple of times per week because I have class here. I like it they have good modern toilets and I can fill up my water bottle with quality fresh water for free. The seminar rooms are spacious and comfortable. I like it here.

Fantastic hotel in a great location right next to the Old Town, with convenient underground parking. The views of the alpine peaks were absolutely stunning. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options and really good espresso from the coffee machines. Rooms were clean, stylish, and the beds very comfortable. Staff were friendly, helpful, and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. A special highlight was the wellness area – the pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room exceeded expectations and added a relaxing touch to the experience. Overall, a very enjoyable stay. Highly recommended!

The hotel is just like pictured and even better. Spacious, beautiful, and clean, with a great view. The spa and jacuzzi are simply amazing. Breakfast is nothing special, but nice atmosphere, and starts at 6:30 which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the reviews about the noise at night are also true. There's a popular night bar on the Universitätstraße right near the hotel; it's open until 3 a.m. on weekends, and its guests are very loud and laughing outside well into the night, even in cold weather (it was +1C and very foggy when I was there)

We paid a consoderable amount for a suite but the interior was quite standard. Breakfast buffet has a nice outside patio but the staff does not allow to sit outside as it would increase their workload ... about 10 steps more outside the door

Although we were not guests here, we had breakfast while waiting for the car to charge. As with all breakfast buffet, there’s nothing remarkable. However, the staff are most kind and very helpful for us non-German speakers. We ate outside and the atmosphere was very relaxing, granted the morning was sunny with clear skies. I say the experience we had here was one of the best in our European road trip.

The hotel is nothing special. It is clean, but extremely warm in summer. The only reason we visited this hotel was due to EV charging infrastructure, which was free during the first years. It was never announced that the free charging stopped. For an EV-stop it used to be a good price/quality ratio. On ChargePoint (the app to control the chargers) the chargers of the hotel are still published as free-chargers. The parking lot was full with Kaiserhof's Tesla vehicles (non-charging). When I kindly asked the reception if one of the vehicles could be moved a whole discussion started that I should use the chargers which are in front and who are EXTREMELY expensive. We asked the hotel owner if we could cancel our booking because the stop made no sense for us anymore. This wasn't possible due to the cancellation policy and he did not want to do us the favour. No compensation was offered, he wasn't going to change his stubborn mind. To close the discussion the owner even threatened us that if we would write a bad review, he would inform the police and we would have trouble next time driving through Austria because my review would be 'fake'. This is not customer service, not after over 10 visits to your hotel... this is not the way you handle your clients. On Google itself you always try to solve problems with clients, where as in reality, you leave them in the cold with a mayor arrogance over yourself.

Friendly staff, great breakfast, outdated rooms. Biggest issue is that they do not support American Express, which is very strange for a hotel.

We had one night here with our school, whilst competing in a local sports tournament. The hotel is just perfect, very traditional, great surroundings, comfortable rooms, the staff were so welcoming and very accommodating and the cooked breakfast was amazingly good. We will definitely return to this hotel for our next trip. There was also a local pizza restaurant which we can highly recommend.

Burgers are ok, schnitzel and other food was dry and not really good. It was edible. The waiter was nice. But the food is expensive and not worth the high price. Taste was worse then most cheaper places. Also smaller meal size then usual.

Hotel was fantastic, staff was fantastic friendly and just couldn't have asked for anything else. The bar maid was beautiful attentive and the view from the patio of the alps was surreal. this place was the only place in all of Europe where we got a GREAT breakfast which was included in the room charge to my pleasant surprise. The rooms were traditionally small as you would expect in Europe, but were very very comfortable and I would really love to return there some day.

Restaurant in hotel is very modern aimed on quality not quantity. Food looks very good and deliciously. Great hote! The room was spacious, stylish, very clean, and the bed was super comfortable. We asked to switch to firmer pillows and the staff handled it right away. The minibar was a real highlight – restocked daily with water, soft drinks, wine, and beer, all free of charge – plus a great coffee machine in the room. Fabulous hotel in central Vienna. Greeted warmly on arrival and phoned when our room was ready. Room itself was lovely, spacious with a little book nook overlooking the park, and the complimentary wine and beer in the fridge was a lovely touch. Only tried the cake in the cafe but it was first class. Rooms very clean and the staff super friendly all round the clock. Only small issue was the room didn't get cleaned until late afternoon so that disrupted us a couple of times, but no big deal, would definitely recommend.

Stopped by for a quick breakfast and was interested to see mostly Viennese not tourists having breakfast. I had the eggs Benedict and they were perfect. My wife had a pumpkin bread scramble, think avocado toast with a fluffy egg scramble on top. She loved it.

Stayed here for 3 nights in the deluxe room (family of 3) although we’ve been countless times to the brasserie because we love the food and the service. This was our first time staying at the hotel, we usually do air bnb as we come to Vienna every summer. Our stay started as a 3, here’s why: - first night we stayed on the first floor and it was very loud later in the evening because you could hear the music from the restaurant and the bass was thumping up through the floor and it was just noisy in general. If you stay here, stay on a higher floor. We mentioned this to the front desk reception and they moved us to a higher floor for night 2 and 3. Great service. - when we arrived, we had our car out front to unload our bags. While we were checking in, the valet came over to us and rudely told us that we cannot leave our car there. At all hotels, the first question should be “may I move your car for you to the lot” as that’s exactly what we intended on doing. So we found it odd as it wasn’t the best first impression Our stay improved - the rooms are really well equipped and very spacious, beautiful, comfortable and stylish. Our daughter loved the little nook with cushions at the window. The rooms are stocked with free water and bottles of wine which you can bring to the restaurant free of charge. This is why it started out as a 3 but improved to a 4. The front desk reception were wonderful, service oriented and pleasant. We had dinner and breakfast at the brasserie and also sat on the patio many times for a drink and snack on our 3 night stay. I will do a separate review for that of the brasserie but definitely try the bio lemonade with thyme and lemon - it’s divine!

i am a local. we had dinner with friends on a friday. not many guest present though. service was amazing. all the waiters did everything to make you feel more than absolutely comfortable. food was delicious, much better than expected. highly recommended! usually i go there for breakfast only, however service and quality of food was still great/excellent, every time I go there. make sure to reserve a table for the morning.

Two of the best breakfasts myself and my travel companion had whilst we were in Vienna, the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, there's a lovely atmosphere, it was that nice we decided on the spot to come again for breakfast the following day! We spent 10 nights at Hotel Congerss. Unfortunately, we don’t have very fond memories of this stay. But let me start with the positives, because there were some. The room was spacious, with air conditioning, a TV, and a beautiful mountain view. There is an elevator, and a garage is available for an additional fee of 20 euros per day. The WiFi was very good. You can also purchase breakfast, which is very good. There's a wide selection of food, and the breakfast room service is top-notch. The waitstaff and the floor manager were extremely kind and professional. And that’s where the positives end. The hotel advertises daily room cleaning included in the price. And yes, the cleaning staff did show up every day — but the room was very poorly cleaned. Dusting was done only every few days, and the floors were vacuumed just as rarely. The bedding was changed only twice, and the bed was often made carelessly. Towels were changed daily, and trash was taken out. The toilet was also cleaned every day. However, the nightstands were not wiped even once during our entire stay — they were covered in dust. I’m attaching photos. We reported the poorly cleaned room three times. Each time we were assured it would be thoroughly cleaned, but it never was. We felt completely ignored by the reception staff. No one ever followed up to ask whether the room had been properly cleaned afterward. My husband has a dust allergy, so you can imagine how difficult it was for him to stay in such a dusty room. We’ve stayed at 4-star hotels before, and we’ve never had such a bad experience. We paid a lot of money for this stay, and it was far from pleasant. For this price, you can definitely find something much better. I’m not leaving the lowest rating only because of the excellent breakfasts and the wonderful people who work there. As for the rest — everything is written above and shown in the photos.

Very good location, quite central and everything is accessible by foot. The central station is around 20 mins by walk, most tourist attractions are quite close and the station to get on the furnicular towards Hungerburg was like 3 minutes away. The room was pretty nice, clean and spacious. I had opted for the mountain view and was very satisfied! There's also certain wellness activities available including a small but decently equipped gym which serves the purpose. The breakfast at the hotel was also pretty good!

The service was good, and the rooms were clean with lovely views of the mountains. However, a major disappointment was that the air conditioning did not work. It was extremely hot in our room, and we had to keep the window open to the street, which made it difficult to sleep due to the heat and very loud road noise. I noticed other guests have mentioned the same issue in previous reviews, so it seems this problem has yet to be addressed.

I’ve been traveling all around the world for the past 15+ years, and this has to be the worst hotel i’ve ever stayed at. The service is HORRIBLE, AC doesn’t work in the room & it was extremely hot, shower drain completely clogged, our room was never cleaned and we had to ask multiple times for them to do so, and when they finally do come to clean they do the BARE MINIMUM of leaving us towels and bathmats in the bathroom. That is all. Our beds are never made, trash cans never emptied, room never properly cleaned. The table by the bedside is extremely dirty from the day we came in and it hasn’t been cleaned once during our stay, same as our bedsheets and covers, never made or changed. Only once after practically begging reception for them to clean our room properly, our bedsheets were just folded. I don’t blame the reception workers, they were working with what they got and did their best, I think these issues are all due to bad management / the higher up. Cheap hotel and I do not recommend anyone to stay here. How this hotel is classified as a 4 star hotel is beyond me

Location is next to the river and bus route direct to the centre and train station. Good views from the bedroom over the town and mountains. A short walk to the city centre. A good stay.

A hotel employee accused my wife of lying about her room number at the breakfast. Not sure why they feel that was necessary, they are not the police. She had just paid the "discounted" €24 surcharge at the front desk moments before. This was one of multiple surcharges that I felt were overpriced and not appropriately advertised in the listing, which suggested breakfast, parking, and pets were all included which did not end up being the case. I was also charged €19 for my free "welcome" drink. This combined with questionable cleanliness in the rooms made the price not worth it. Redeeming factor was location, it is directly across the street from the Top of Innsbruck railway.

Our airline lost our luggage and when we arrived a bit early to drop off the carryons we had, from the time of check in to checking out, the staff was incredibly nice and helpful, especially Tianhao. He helped us numerous occasions during our stay and each time with a grace and a smile. The other staff were just as wonderfully. The view from the top floor restaurant was amazing, a must see in Vienna. This was probably the most restful and restorative stay I can remember. Highly recommend this place.

This was our third time visiting the hotel, and once again the room was perfect, we even had a lovely view of the city. The Das Loft bar remains the best in town, the cocktails are absolutely 10/10. However, this was our first time trying the hotel breakfast, and unfortunately, the waiter was quite rude and the service was very slow. We’ll definitely return to the hotel again, but probably without breakfast because at a 5-star hotel and this price point, guests shouldn’t have to deal with that kind of attitude.

We stayed at SO/ Vienna for 3 nights and were pleased with the location. We had convenient access to metro and tram lines within a 5-minute walk from the hotel. We were also able to walk conveniently to St. Stephen's Cathedral within 15-20 minutes, where there were many shops and restaurants around. Check in was quick and thorough and we were told about what our stay included, as well as where the gym and sauna were located. The restaurant and bar (Das Loft) on the 18th floor was gorgeous and had sweeping views across Vienna. Every evening when coming back to our hotel, we saw lots of people waiting in line to get up to Das Loft. As hotel guests, we were able to go straight up through elevators that only hotel guests could access. Elevators required key card scan to make it function which added an extra layer of security to our stay. Rooms were clean and modern but lacked a bit of warmth. The floors were all tiled and as such, the bed was easily moved if you bumped into it. Having a rug in the room would have added a nice touch and left the room still easily cleanable. Our room had both a tub and a shower as well as double sinks but the toilet was in a small room next to the room door. Bathroom layout was different from other hotels I have ever stayed at. I liked that the items in the mini bar (water, juices, small snacks) were complimentary and made it easy for us to not have to look for places to get water or worry about mini-bar prices. Breakfast was delicious and had "buffet" options such as rolls, salad, fruit, etc. but also gave guests the option to order unlimited dishes that were made to order. Paired with the phenomenal views from the 18th floor made breakfast a relaxing way to start the day.

The hotel was well located within an easy walk to the historic district. We enjoyed the upstairs bar on the 18th floor, but we felt that the breakfast was very expensive. The hotel room was a little too open for our taste, but was very comfortable. A big shoutout to one of the staff, Boris, who was always very polite and helpful.

We spent part of our stay at the Ritz Carlton and part at SO Vienna. SO Vienna is much more our vibe. Modern and laid back. Great front desk staff and very unusual interior design… especially the window coverings in our high floor room overlooking the river and city with amazing views. Breakfast was outstanding if a bit pricey … but you couldn’t ask for more food options. Honestly did not love the beds and bedding but the room amenities and shower were great.

We visited this hotel for our honeymoon, and we were deeply moved by how every staff member went out of their way to bring us joy and make our special trip even more meaningful. Exceptional Stay at SO/ Vienna — Made Extra Special by the Team! From the moment we arrived, we already felt well taken care of. Helena, the Assistant Front Office Manager, and her colleague (a kind Chinese gentleman whose name I unfortunately forgot 😅) made our check-in smooth and stress-free, even after a short half-hour wait. They offered coffee and water, gave us drink vouchers, and most importantly — made us feel genuinely valued. Helena went above and beyond by helping me plan a surprise for my husband’s 40th birthday. She personally facilitated everything and even added complimentary breakfast for the rest of our stay! Talk about going the extra mile — I was honestly blown away. Ambiance: The hotel itself is a modern masterpiece. Every corner feels stylish and thoughtfully designed. The panoramic view from our room overlooking the Danube River and the bustling cityscape is truly breathtaking — it’s one of the hotel’s best highlights! Room: We stayed in a 30-sqm room with a king-sized bed — very spacious and cozy. The bed was super comfortable, and the lounge couch was perfect for relaxing. A few things could be improved — a bidet would be great, and the shower temperature ran a bit too hot even on its lowest setting. But overall, it was a comfortable stay. The minibar was fully stocked and free, which is a nice touch! I also loved the “sleep amenities menu” where you can choose your preferred pillow type — such a thoughtful detail. Location: Perfectly located — just a short walk to Vienna’s main attractions, shopping areas, and great restaurants. It made exploring the city so convenient. Food: The breakfast was excellent! Hot dishes are cooked fresh from the kitchen, so even if you sleep in, you’ll still get delicious food served warm. Nico, Ivy and the Spanish Girl ( i forgot her name 😅) were all so attentive. Overall: SO/ Vienna is not just an impressive hotel — it’s the people who make it truly unforgettable. The hospitality, warmth, and attention to detail were second to none. We left with full hearts and beautiful memories. Would definitely stay here again! ❤️

What a wonderful place. Each year it just gets better and better. They have recently redecorated the lobby and the bar areas, and it looks very cool now. The service is outstanding as always, as is the food. The best place for a skiing holiday.

Having just returned last night from our skiing holiday, the 14th year in this hotel, I can only say it’s home away from home! Best rooms, best service, best staff, best everything! Quality is guaranteed and you’ll be surprised at just how high quality this hotel is. From cleanliness to quality of linen. Best beds and best linen. All natural fibres and comforts! Just out of this World! From location ( ski in ski out) to quality of rooms, linen, cleanliness, staff , quality of service, food and can go on and on, this is by far the best hotel we’ve ever been to. Winter and summer! It’s our favourite place to holiday in and we are always sad to leave! Ran by a family that puts the time and effort, investment and heart in the business, the hotel is magical. Safe for kids. Our son literally grew up here. Staff that has become family to us. Nothing is a problem. Everything is possible. And all staff always have a smile on their faces! The spa is to die for. We’ve even stayed in the Burg chalet and that was magical too! Ski hire in the hotel. You just have to walk downstairs. I just have no words that would do this place justice! It’s faultless! A fantastic experience. We stayed for two nights and almost everything surpassed our expectations. We got a room upgrade, which made the hotel feel even more special. The rooms are large, bright and thoughtfully decorated. Water is complementary, although coffee isn't. Every aspect is high quality, also in the large spa area, which is very relaxing (unfortunately, a few kids despite what the signs recommended). The lobby is what dreams are made of, with a beautiful fireplace, room to spare and delicious local apples. The breakfast is to die for and the dinner menu is well made but you can always go a la carte. The wine offering is superb and the wine menu that resembles a bible attests to that. Our waiter at the restaurant was very attentive and shared some stories which is only possible as he's been working at this hotel for 8 years. They also catered for everything in English, knowing it was our preferred language. On the last day, we were allowed for a late check-out, which allowed us to explore the wonderful mountains around. Overall, incredible experience.

Excellent place for some apres-ski beers before heading back to your hotel after long skiing day. Service is friendly even though there might be a lot of people in the bar. Sun is shining to the terrace.

At the riverbank (hence the venue’s name) with outdoor restaurant seating. Good breakfast. Friendly service, I always wonder though why check in at the reception takes that long despite online check in done the day before. Spacious room (got an upgrade) yet two malfunctions spotted in the bathroom: water temperature could either be ice cold or hellish hot (probably a termostat issue) while the sink’s tap arm is definitely too short thus making even a hand wash a challenging experience. Nevertheless I am keen on stating there again once I am back in Vienna.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel and loved everything about it. A special thank you to Elena at the front desk—she was incredibly professional and went above and beyond to help me arrange a surprise upgrade for my husband’s birthday. The birthday treats and room decor were such a thoughtful touch and made the celebration truly special. Elena is a gem, and the entire front desk team was brilliant. Breakfast was delicious, though mornings were a bit rushed. Thankfully, there were plenty of seats outside the breakfast area, even if it meant carrying our plates. The restaurant food was average—not particularly memorable—and the staff there didn’t match the professionalism of the front desk. I ordered a virgin mojito at the bar and was served water with mint leaves, which was disappointing, but I chose to overlook it. Despite these minor hiccups, the overall experience was amazing. I would highly recommend this hotel, especially for its breathtaking view of the Danube River and the beautiful sunrise it offers.

Great hotel right on the Danube River. It's a great location if you don't need to be in the heart of Vienna but still close enough to all kinds of restaurants and of course the Danube. Ultimately the location isn't that critical since the public transit system is great and easily accessed. The breakfast and brunch are 5 star phenomenal, worth eating at even if you aren't a guest of the hotel.

My stay at Hilton Vienna Waterfront was simply unforgettable. The hotel’s design perfectly combines coziness with elegance, every corner feels warm, stylish, and thoughtfully detailed. Dinner at OXBO Restaurant was absolutely amazing,the steak was perfectly cooked, and the warm apple strudel was the sweetest ending to the evening. My sincere thanks to everyone I met at OXBO, each member of the team was warm, attentive, and truly made the experience special. At breakfast, I truly appreciated Johanna Sava’s bright smile, dedication, and cheerful energy, she made the morning feel even more pleasant. I want to share an unpleasant experience that occurred during my stay at the hotel. While ironing clothes in my room with the window open for ventilation, the fire alarm suddenly went off—possibly due to an overly sensitive sensor or one not designed for ironing in the room. Shortly after, a hotel staff member arrived. Instead of quickly assessing the situation, confirming everything was fine, apologizing, and leaving, he began arguing with me. He insisted that I should only iron near the window, even though the window was already open. The situation was made worse by the fact that I was in my underwear at the time, which made the interaction extremely uncomfortable. Rather than handling the situation professionally, the staff member behaved inappropriately. I got the impression that his attitude might have been influenced by noticing the Star of David pendant I was wearing. This is, of course, just an assumption, but his tone and manner left a bad taste. I expected a more professional and respectful approach from the hotel staff. I hope the management will address this incident and work with their team to prevent such situations in the future. Hotel guests should feel comfortable, and their personal space and beliefs should be respected.

The main reason I’m giving this hotel a positive rating is because of Ms. Fateme, who was very helpful and changed our smelly room without hesitation. Thanks to her, our experience improved a lot. However, on the day of our arrival, the service at the bar was quite poor — it took a long time to take and bring our orders. Also, we were given two rooms that were not next to each other, even though we had clearly mentioned beforehand that we wanted our kids’ room beside ours. In any case, I really appreciate Ms. Fateme’s professionalism and kindness. She made a big difference in our stay.

We stayed at the Le Méridien for 4 nights. It is a great hotel with convenient access to restaurants and tourist attractions. The staff were excellent. The breakfast choices were very good. The omelette station was great. The hotel was a 30 minute walk to the Belvedere palace, less than 5 minutes to the opera house, and a 10 minute walk to old town.

Wonderful stay at this hotel earlier this season. The room was well maintained and the location was fantastic. It was walk-able to many attractions, and accessible to their metro stations. I liked that the hotel organized events for guests to attend in addition to their restaurants on site.

This was our second time to stay in this hotel. It’s such a great location! The rooms feel just a tad dated but it’s still comfortable. The service is great and staff are polite. The gym is a little small but 24 hours. There is public Parking is downstairs and the hotel has valet. Overall would come back again.

Pathetic service in the You Bar which is part of the hotel. Really bad customer service for the breakfast buffet where no one came to ask if we wanted coffee and to top it off, the waiters felt like they were doing us a favor if we asked for anything. The only two good things was the location of the hotel and the main reception/receptionists were nice.

I loved the hotel, it was nice and clean despite that it’s an old building it was well maintained. The location was the perfect, quiet yet near a lot of the city’s scenic spots. The staff were amazing and super nice. I didn’t get the honor gold member upgrade as it was explained to me that they were fully booked.

On paper the hotel seems like quite far away. But it was really in a very nice area. With greenery around it and short distance away from the key sights. It was easy to reach and pleasant walk to these places. Breakfast was great and yes they have staff to find a table and get it cleaned up before showing you to the table. We got interconnecting rooms. But one room was a lot bigger than the other 😀. The stay was very enjoyable.

We booked this hotel via booking.com two weeks in advance of our weekend break to Vienna. We had reserved a 4 night stay with breakfast and were really looking forward to our stay here; the hotel looked lovely and was in a great location for our planned itinerary to museums and historic buildings etc. We arrived in Vienna on a Friday afternoon, with about ten minutes to spare before we could check in at Le Méridien when my partner received a message from Booking.com to say that the hotel had cancelled our reservation. We contacted the hotel to query the cancellation and received no explanation, apology or even politeness, only a rude confirmation that they had cancelled the booking. We then had to spend half an hour in the train station surrounded by our luggage trying to find another suitable reservation which was incredibly stressful to say the least. I can’t really comment on the quality of the hotel, however we found their customer service non-existent and would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

We stayed at this hotel in early September as a family of three (two adults and a baby). The room was spacious enough for all our luggage and baby equipment, and the bathroom was exceptional – very large, with a bathtub, infrared lamp, drying cord, and lots of counter space. Probably the best-equipped bathroom we’ve seen. A baby cot was promptly provided upon request, which we appreciated. The location was also convenient: close to two metro lines and a pedestrian shopping street with plenty of food options. However, there were major downsides. Communication was poor – I emailed the hotel three times before our arrival and never received a reply. Cleaning was below standard: mirrors were never wiped, and dust was visible from day one. The biggest problem was heating. Despite the website claiming individual air conditioning, the system only provided cold air. Reception informed us that heating was not activated yet, even though outside temperatures dropped to 12–14°C with high humidity. With a baby, this was unacceptable. Overall, while the room, bathroom, and location were very good, poor communication, inadequate cleaning, and lack of heating left us disappointed.

​We had a fantastic experience at Arcotel Wimberger in Vienna. The location is truly the best, right on a main boulevard with tram and bus stations directly outside, making it incredibly easy to explore the city. It was only a 7-minute drive to the magnificent Schönbrunn Palace, and a shopping centre is just a five-minute walk away! ​The breakfast buffet was outstanding, with so many delicious options to choose from. We also loved the wellness facilities, especially the jacuzzi and sauna on the top floor which offer beautiful city views, perfect for unwinding. The room itself was clean and comfortable, absolutely nothing to fault. ​The only downside is the parking, which is quite pricey at €32 per day, but the car park is spacious and the direct lift access to the reception and rooms is a big plus for convenience. ​Above all, the staff was exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond, especially with our little one. When we checked out, they sweetly gave our child a colouring book and pens, which made him so happy! Such a kind and thoughtful gesture. ​Highly recommend this hotel for a great stay in Vienna! We would definitely choose it again.

Mediocre- the staff can be a bit irritable when you ask them questions which may be a cultural thing given i am coming from Canada. They also sometimes tell you the wrong information (ie breakfast time, gym opening hours etc)… so its best to read the signs/website for that). It was comfortable enough, a bit of a distance away from the city core so you need to get on their subway to get there. I liked their breakfast buffet!

Delicious breakfast, one of the cleanest rooms that I stayed in in Europe. I’ve got a food poisoning in another restaurant and the staff at the desk (the black man) brought me fresh food and it did help me to overcome it. I want to thank him again. The only recommendation that I have is the prejudice of the Asian worker at the desk. I asked for the breakfast room where she asked for my room number to verify if I had paid for the breakfast. She didn’t do that for the other stayers so it can be due to I vomited the whole night and couldn’t dress properly for the breakfast. I’m going to leave it like this

The room was spacious and comfortable, and I must especially commend the bed quality—extremely comfortable and provided a good night's rest. Cons: The front desk staff, though efficient, came across as overly business-like and lacked the warm, personable touch one expects in hospitality. Both the gentleman and lady at the front desk appeared unwilling to go the extra mile, which was disappointing. The hotel follows a book-in-advance policy for room cleaning, which is fine in theory—but even after booking it, cleaning was delayed until I followed up at the front desk. While the hotel provides umbrellas with a 30-euro refundable deposit, I encountered a frustrating situation where the staff failed to record my umbrella return, and I was incorrectly asked to repay the deposit during checkout. A more serious concern: a chocolate bar I had kept in the fridge was consumed, presumably by someone from housekeeping. This raises concerns about respect for guests' personal belongings. Overall, the hotel delivers on comfort and location but falls short on service quality and attentiveness. With more engaged staff and a better guest service mindset, it could be a much better experience.

We stayed at Arcotel Hotel in Vienna — the hotel was very comfortable with a beautiful interior. The location was great, very close to the metro and tram stations. Breakfast was amazing with lots of choices and everything was delicious. Also, a special mention to one of the reception staff (a Turkish guy, I think his surname was Numan) who was super friendly and helpful. Great stay overall!

Spent three weeks at this hotel. Location was perfect, amenities were incredible. A lovely gym and spa that is very relaxing. Staff are really kind as well. The lobby is nice and spacious and offers working areas. Breakfast was good as well, a variety of options and you can order food as well which I liked. Room was very big and spacious! Only downer is the fact I think the rooms look a bit dated. But honestly no complaints here and would stay at this hotel again.

This is a gorgeous hotel with exquisite attention to detail. I felt extremely welcomed here, and the location can't be matched. I was so pleased with the human, down-to-earth approach of the staff, which really made all the difference. Would love to stay again when I'm next in Bratislava. Do stay here!

Great location and room overlooking the square. Room is very spacious and had lots of room to put away clothes. I have to call out Anita at check-in. She was one of the best, kindest and most empathetic human we have met. While she was checking us in, my husband had a coughing fit…she got water and snacks for us. She also took time explaining the city and attractions to us. Finally, because it was my husband’s birthday, she offered to send him cake. If this was our first introduction to this country and its beautiful people!

We had an amazing stay at the Radisson Blu Carlton Hotel in Bratislava. The location is excellent, right in the very heart of the city, just a few minutes’ walk from the Bratislava Castle, the Danube River, and the Old Town. It couldn’t be more convenient for exploring the city. The lobby feels luxurious and modern, giving a great first impression. Our room was clean, stylishly designed, and offered a fantastic view of downtown Bratislava, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We were also welcomed with lovely chocolate cakes and fresh fruits, a very thoughtful touch. One of the highlights of our stay was definitely the wellness area, featuring a large and brand-new jacuzzi, a relaxing dry sauna, and a steam room. The gym was also well-equipped and perfect for a quick workout. Although the hotel is rated as four stars, it truly feels more like a five-star experience in terms of comfort, service, and facilities. Overall, we highly recommend the Radisson Blu Carlton Hotel when visiting Bratislava. Excellent location, outstanding amenities, and great value for money.

Had an excellent stay. Was able to get an early check in. The terrace in the room was great. The staff were very attentive and brought fresh fruit to the room. The spa which was included was so nice, I’d consider coming to the hotel again just to use it. The gym looked great, but didn’t have time to try it.

Avoid this hotel if you can. Though breakfast is nice, location is convenient, you can get better value of your money elsewhere due to the bad service. I found dirty bathrobe the first day checked in, they did not say anything after I report to the agency platform; later I found there is no body lotion which they claimed that they provided, I made three requests and they said they will provide but no delivery. When I asked front desk what is going on, they finally said that they are out of stock that day—-when I asked the manager about those and she said it happens and they will look into it. But nobody said anything to me afterwards, no explanation. When I finally asked them when I was checking out, she just said the same thing that they were out of body lotion that day (at a Marriot Renaissance!: (). It seems that they do not care your experience, I really do not this matches the standard/image I have for Marriot

I have stayed at many Marriott properties, and this was by far the worst experience I have ever had with the brand. After checking in for one night, I decided to extend my stay. I spoke directly with the manager at the front desk, who assured me that everything would be fine and my reservation would be updated. That evening, upon returning to my room, my girlfriend and I were shocked to find that all of our belongings had been removed. Missing items included prescription medication, chargers, contact solution, cash, a sentimental water bottle, and other personal effects. When I reported this to the front desk, I was essentially told it was not the hotel’s responsibility to ensure that items in my room remained there and that I should have “secured” them better. This response was dismissive, unhelpful, and frankly insulting. The staff member I spoke with had a terrible attitude and displayed no sense of accountability or concern. The following morning, I met with the manager, only to be told that housekeeping claimed we had left nothing behind—implying that I was lying. This was incredibly unprofessional and unacceptable. I was assured I would be contacted by another manager to follow up, but more than a week has passed and no one has reached out. This entire experience left me feeling disrespected, frustrated, and deeply disappointed. To have personal belongings—including prescription medication and sentimental items—mishandled or taken, and then to be treated with such disregard by staff and management, is completely unacceptable. I cannot in good conscience recommend this hotel to anyone. The lack of accountability, poor customer service, and dismissive treatment of guests make it one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. Marriott should be embarrassed to have this property under its name.

Unfortunately, my stay here was very disappointing. The hotel feels overpriced for what it offers – the building is dated, and the rooms are small, worn out, and in need of serious renovation. In the morning, there was an unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom sink, and the walls and fixtures showed signs of neglect (spider webs by the light, dirty walls, broken shower and sink parts). Noise was another big issue, as it was very loud early in the morning. Even the elevators seem untouched since the 1980s and add to the overall impression of a property that has not kept up with Marriott standards. I honestly cannot recommend staying here. There are much better options available in the area that provide more comfort, cleanliness, and value for money.

I stayed at Renaissance Vienna for 3 days. The location is excellent—right across from Meidling Hauptstraße, with easy access to public transportation, all within a 10-minute walk. Unfortunately, the service and room quality were very disappointing. On my first day, I found unflushed toilet paper in the bathroom, which I decided to brush off. The replaced towels provided were also not neatly placed, but I let that slide as well. However, I was quite upset to discover that the shampoo bottle in my room was completely empty. Luckily, I had brought my own. I reported this to the reception, and while they apologized, the shampoo still wasn’t replenished later that evening. I did appreciate that they had replaced the towel neatly this time. What really disappoints me is that I requested a wake-up call, and they simply forgot to do it. When I asked the reception to confirm whether it’s the mistake from my part (that maybe I just didn’t hear the wake up call), they admitted they had just forgotten. This could have easily caused me to miss my flight because I did wake up at not my ideal time. I’ve always trusted Marriott hotels for their consistency and quality, but this experience was a huge letdown. For a hotel that claims to be 4-star under the Marriott name, the lack of basic service and attention to detail is inexcusable. I left disappointed and frustrated, and I would not recommend this property.

I am very disappointed that on a Friday evening at 23:15 the bar of this hotel Is closed. In the Marriott app it clearly states it should be open until 23:59. I have just been there and kindly asked for a glass of hot milch for our daughter, and was directly and without any option being told: 'we are closed'. The bartender could have easily offered a glass of Milch, instead he actually turned around !!! This is not service ...

Lovely roof top bar n restaurant with great views of the mounting and surroundings. Take a moment for a drink n snack during the day for a nice break. Free to visit and you don't need to be staying in the hotel.

I booked this hotel it mainly for the beautiful mountain view shown in the photos. Unfortunately, the room I received had a completely different view facing a building and the train station. The staff were kind, especially Mesha who was very nice and helpful, but it was disappointing because I had been so excited about the panoramic view. Also, at night there was a strange sewage smell coming from the bathroom, which was quite unpleasant. I hope the hotel improves the accuracy of its photos and addresses the bathroom odor issue.

This is a beautiful hotel with probably the best view in Innsbruck, hard stop. It is worth staying here for the absolutely breathtaking view alone. Location is amazing - this is a 5-10 minute walk to everything in the main area of town. The rooms are modern and trendy, and also have incredible views. We loved the rooftop bar; the vibe is upscale but chill and the bartenders - Julian and Yannik, provided exceptional service. They were also fun to talk to, and provided cocktail bar recommendations for our next stop, Salzburg. Much appreciated. :) The restaurant was closed, but we ordered burgers and a flammkuchen from the bar menu, and everything was delicious. They do have a lovely spa but it strangely doesn’t open until late in the day, so we unfortunately weren’t able to try it out. The only thing I will say about this hotel is that our room on the top floor was very warm, even in October; and the A/C did not work well at all. It also would’ve been nice to have a bathrobe, and the instant coffee in the room was disappointing. Overall we really enjoyed the hotel. :)

Hello The Hotel location is amazing and nearby main shops and supermarkets I didn’t like thr hotel not providing luggage services to help me get them to my room, also the parking garage fee is expensive should be less or free for guests, the breakfast was very standard with limited options though the eggs were delicious. Hopefully we can see improvements in future and the staff were so kind

Stopped by the Hotel Adler for drinks, and it was absolutely lovely! The view was breathtaking — the kind that makes you pause and just take it all in. The atmosphere was charming and relaxed, with that perfect Swiss mix of style and comfort. The service was wonderful — friendly, attentive, and genuine. My drink was perfectly made, and I could’ve stayed for hours just enjoying the view and the peaceful vibe. Whether you’re a guest or just stopping in for a drink, Hotel Adler is a beautiful spot to unwind and soak in the scenery. Highly recommend! 🇨🇭🍷

The perfect location, the perfect ambiance… total relaxation, and the perfect team! Special thanks to the heroes of the Concierge — Rainer, Oliver, and Oscar — and to the entire restaurant team, especially Ibrahim and Alex. The rooms were very comfortable. I truly appreciated that water was always available — such a thoughtful detail that made a big difference. I never had to think about ordering or bringing my own. Thank you for taking care of every small detail, including cleaning and night service. A useful note for future guests: the electric plugs are the two-round-pin type, but the hotel provides excellent adapters. Most importantly, my wife really enjoyed the stay! We’ll definitely be coming back!

I stayed at 3 luxury hotel in Vienna within a week (just for fun). First time in a Ritz. I must say overall its one of THE best. Welcome cocktail as you check in...personally shown the room. Very nice decor, indoor swimming pool (can't think of any other hotel in Vienna that has that. Nice Italian restaurant in house (very casual). Great location. For the cost one of the better luxury hotel deals in town.

We stayed at the Ritz-Carlton Vienna for 11 nights and had a very good experience overall. The rooms are comfortable and quite large, though some elements of the décor feel a bit dated. The same goes for the hotel interior—there are definite highlights, but parts of it could use a refresh. What truly stands out here is the staff. Service was excellent across the board, especially at D-Bar. The menu is inventive, the drink quality consistently high, and the bartenders are clearly very experienced. One bartender in particular, Tomas, deserves special praise—his drinks were truly outstanding, and his skill, attentiveness, and professionalism made our evenings there some of the best parts of our stay. At the pool, Kristof was extremely helpful and attentive, clearly committed to making guests feel looked after. There’s also a rooftop bar with great city views, which is a nice bonus. The location isn’t as central as the Park Hyatt—most destinations require at least a 10-minute walk—but the surroundings are still lovely, and we enjoyed experiencing Vienna on foot whenever we set out from the hotel. For value, the Ritz-Carlton worked well for us. With such a long stay, we wanted to budget thoughtfully, and it offered a better balance than the Park Hyatt or the Mandarin Oriental.

The Ritz-Carlton Vienna is a beautiful hotel with an excellent location and elegant, comfortable rooms. Cleanliness was very good, while the overall service and reception were average compared to the usual Ritz-Carlton standard. The main downside was the breakfast — there was no buffet, only à la carte service, which was unusual for me and not at the level expected from such a luxury hotel. Overall, it’s a nice property and enjoyable stay, but service and breakfast quality could be improved to better match the Ritz-Carlton brand experience.

The service is exemplary at the Ritz. Everyone is extremely helpful and friendly. Madeline and Jasper the Front Desk Managers immediately resolved an issue that came up and went above and beyond to make it right. The steak house at the Ritz is phenomenal. Highly recommend.

Since Vienna has great public transportation, we opted this hotel which is not located in downtown but has easy access by metro or tram. I already knew this hotel works with local business, they advertise products in the rooms so I was wondering what room we would get. Opened the door, we found that we were in a lovely jam world! We even visited the jam store on the last day of our stay, we had fun. I know the intention was to make the room looks bigger yet my partner and I both think that using glass as the bathroom door is not sexy at all. You can hear every sound your partner make. The highlight of this hotel is breakfast on weekends. The choices they provide is phenomenal. And they have live music played. I booked a taxi to the airport before I left. On the room info, it was 45 Euros. But the receptionist told me it was 65. I already knew it was probably cause by the size of the car. I was right, the taxi which came to pick me up was good for 7 adults. It seems ridiculous since I was alone with only one tiny luggage ( my partner left earlier with a train ride). I wish the taxi arrangements can be more flexible, I was not happy with the "fixed price" policy.

The whole experience at Boutique Hotel Donauwalzer can be resumed in one word: perfection. Everything from front desk attention to room ready and cleanliness, was absolutely great. The breakfast, which I highly recommend getting, is worth paying for as it has all kinds of goodies for a complete breakfast. We loved our themed room and it was always very clean and super comfy. Shout-out to Santiago and Rafaella who made our experience unique.

The hotel was amazing in everyway, from the clean rooms, great service, convinient location. The rooms were spacious, the breakfast was perfect, I would strongly suggest you add it. And from reception to management the service was impeccable. One of our family members also stayed with their dog and the treatment was amazing, it's a very dog friendly place! Highly recommended if you want to stay in a chill and relaxed hotel. Room was very clean, bed was comfortable and shower was good! But the best, is the customer service, especially the one we received from Görkem. He was very attentive and exceeded our expectations.

I stayed in the cheapest available room, the Flohwalzer, for a single night without breakfast. The room was clean and totally adequate for my needs since I was out all day; checkin and checkout were both totally without issue. All around a pleasant experience I can recommend for anyone who just wants a room to themselves at a reasonable price.

Nice Hotel with nice staff on reception but the cleaning needs to be sorted, I noticed my shower gel was running low and my cups which I used needed changing too along with more coffee capsules so I hung out the sign that says please clean my room, I left my room thinking everything would be clean with new bed sheets but the only thing changed were my towels when I came back. Dirty cups still on the counter, bed sheets not changed and shower gel completely empty. A bit disappointing tbh.

Beautiful hotel in a perfect location for exploring central Vienna. The service was excellent and all the staff were friendly, and the food/drinks we were able to try was excellent. A couple of small issues however prevented it from living up to its name and image, namely the maintenance of the rooms and the majority of the on site dining being closed for our visit.

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at the Grand Hotel Wien. The hotel is located right in the very heart of Vienna, close to everything you’d want to see and do. We were warmly greeted with a thoughtful welcome of champagne and a lovely selection of chocolates and pastries upon arrival, which immediately set the tone for our stay. The staff at the reception were very friendly and helpful, and a special shoutout to Berkan, who not only suggested great places for us to visit but also informed us about Austria’s National Day. Thanks to him, we were able to witness the fascinating display by the Austrian army, which was a highlight of our trip. The hotel itself feels truly luxurious. From the grand staircase in the lobby to our elegantly designed room, everything exudes classic charm and comfort. The breakfast was superb, a wide variety of delicious options and excellent service. We also made use of the wellness area, which was a perfect way to unwind after a busy day exploring the city. The only minor downside was the air conditioning in the room, which wasn’t very easy to control. However, since my partner prefers not to have the AC on, it wasn’t really an issue for us. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend the Grand Hotel Wien to anyone visiting Vienna. Excellent service, great location, and wonderful value for money.

I can sincerely say that the Grand Hotel Wien is one of my favorite hotels I have ever stayed in. From the moment you arrive, it feels like a perfectly tuned operation, well managed, with every detail designed around guest comfort. The breakfast alone sets a standard that few hotels can match: abundant, varied, immaculately presented, and consistently fresh. It truly felt extraordinary each morning. The rooms are opulent and richly decorated, with velvet seating, gilded mirrors, and elegant touches that evoke the golden age of glamour. The location is excellent, right on a lively boulevard with plenty of public transport, shops, and restaurants nearby, and only one block from the city center. Looking back, I regret not leaving this review after my stay last year. Only after a recent disappointing hotel experience elsewhere did I remember just how exceptional the Grand Hotel Wien truly was. It remains a hotel worthy of the highest praise.

I have been flying to Vienna regularly since 2022, and Grand Hotel Wien has become my go-to hotel. Over the years, I’ve stayed in a variety of their rooms, from the regular options to city views and even suites, and I’ve loved every single one. The rooms are always thoughtfully designed, comfortable, and perfectly maintained. The location couldn’t be better, right in the heart of the city, making it easy to get anywhere. Breakfast is incredible, with a wide selection and à la carte options that elevate the experience. As a coffee addict, I especially look forward to their cappuccino every morning, it’s always a highlight. The hotel bar is also a gem, elegant, welcoming, and with a fantastic atmosphere. Staff throughout the hotel are consistently friendly and professional. On one occasion, due to a flight change, I was even offered a late checkout without hesitation, small gestures like this really make a difference. I’ve tried other 5-star hotels in Vienna, but Grand Hotel Wien suits me best. It’s not only about the luxury and comfort, it’s also the consistency. I know members of the staff who were there when I first stayed in 2022 and are still there today. To me, that’s an indirect but very telling sign of how wonderful the hotel is, not only for guests but also for the people who work there. All in all, Grand Hotel Wien delivers on every level, and I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Vienna.

I very much enjoyed my stay at this historic hotel. I was here with a large group for an event and the staff were consistently extremely attentive and ready to accommodate any request. The rooms are beautiful and the ballroom where we gathered for presentations had a great atmosphere. I especially wanted to thank the staff who helped us with breakfast every morning. They went above and beyond (even remembering which people wanted to practice their German) and they made the experience special. Thanks to the whole Grand Hotel Wien team.

Outstanding service and comfort. Truly a 5 star experience. We arrived late due to train delays, arriving much past the midnight. Anantara front desk kindly stayed in touch all through the journey and were very welcoming even though we arrived so late into the night. Room was smaller than the pictures on their website. Very comfortable bedding and stay overall. Location is decent; It’s a bit of a walk to the city center.

The Anantara Palais Hansen Vienna Hotel delivers a truly luxurious experience from the moment you arrive. Every detail felt carefully considered — from the plush towels and luxury bath products to the Dyson hairdryer and styling tools, which were a thoughtful surprise and very convenient. Throughout our stay, the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, contributing to the warm, welcoming atmosphere that made our visit so enjoyable. This is an outstanding hotel in every respect — combining classic elegance, modern comfort, and attentive service in one of Vienna’s most distinguished settings.

Wonderful stay at the newly renovated Anantara Palais Hansen Vienna. The hotel feels fresh and modern, while still keeping the charm of the historic building. We stayed in a Deluxe room with a courtyard view, which was very quiet—so peaceful that we could sleep with the window open, something that’s rare in a city hotel! The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The bed was super cozy and big. The breakfast was excellent, with both a buffet and à la carte options. There was a great selection of fresh food, and everything we tried was delicious. The staff were friendly and professional, always making sure we had everything we needed. Overall, it was a relaxing and luxurious stay in the heart of Vienna. I would definitely come back and recommend it to others looking for a quiet, high-quality place to stay.

One of the best hotels I stayed in. My recent trip to Austria I stayed for 6 nights and another single night. The staff working there were very pleasant. Special thanks to the concierge for arranging many of our transportation. Not to mention the receptionists who were there for us all the time. The lobby restaurant was phenomenal. I had their schnitzel when I arrived and my last dinner there. And for sure the bar baristas who made me espressos everyday. Stunning hotel in the best location! Central to all of the must-see sites in the city. All of the staff were also exceptional! I wanted to recognize Kiro at the lobby restaurant and bar who was so gracious and took amazing care of us, especially when my mom was feeling under the weather. And Mehdi was so kind and helpful during our stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning on visiting Vienna!

His professional, calm and friendly service is something we are very impressed with. Adding my 5 Star Review! This is an amazing hotel with fantastic staff. We were warmly greeted by Atilla when we arrived & then he remembered us each day we stayed. It was a fantastic location for the Opera and our sightseeing plans. The breakfast is delicious and beautifully executed each morning. The bar area was a great place to convene with our family as we planned our next days.

I do not need to say any more about a hotel that was built to be a palace in the city. The hotel is being kept-up perfectly at that level, which is no easy task. What I find really impressive is the people working there who make a stay both a glorious experience, and at the same time give guests a very warm welcome feeling with ease from the heart, not with gestures like from some management-workshop. Especially the front desk always gave us a feeling of returning to a home-away-from-home. With different shifts they kept that up. Still, out of all those great people I'd especially like to mention Mrs. Baur and Mrs. Steinmetz, Mr. Ludewig who helped us tremendously, and Mrs. Elbasi. Everyone working for the team of the hotel gave the beautiful building its soul, but those four stood out even in that amazing team.

Beautiful hotel. Wonderful team. Super Austrian speciality food and wine. It is clear the team (many of whom have been together for years) are just that, a team. Unreservedly recommend the Imperial. One star knocked off. The owner perhaps should be investing in the buildings heritage to ensure it stays at the elite end of Vienna hotels. The Bristol is undergoing a multi million euro refurbishment... However the people make the experience and without doubt the Imperial is blessed to have such a loyal committed group of professionals, front of house, kitchen, concierge and housekeeping. Bravo.

The Hotel Imperial in Vienna is truly impressive. The breakfast is very good — fresh, varied, and prepared with great care. The hotel preserves its historic character while integrating modern comforts in a way that feels natural and refined. The staff are friendly and professional, creating a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. It’s a place I can genuinely recommend.

I'm shocked that anyone could rate this hotel less than 5 stars- it was exceptional in every way. The staff, especially Mladen at breakfast daily, was beyond excellent. We had a group of 5 friends and all of us were blown away. The gorgeous bar downstairs and the rich history and beautiful, elegant decor was just gorgeous. The location is ideal- close to all of the fun but quiet and walkable to everything. The only negative as far as our group is concerned is this was our first stop in 3 different cities and we are now spoiled rotten for the rest of our city stays. We should have gone their last as now nothing else is measuring up to it. People complaining about the bathtubs have obviously never been to Europe or anywhere outside of their tiny little town as that is par for all European, luxury included, bathrooms. Don't hesitate to stay here- it's the best in Vienna.

What can I say about my brief, utilitarian visit to this grand hotel on a cold October afternoon? Buying the distinctive blue boxes that contain the most delicious tortes they make at this luxury hotel you can't afford, will make you feel, momentarily, like a part of the nobility, after which you will head back to your two-star, but-still-Vienna-cool hotel with the thick, burgundy curtains and the old electrical outlets that still don't know about the digital age. The young woman who helped me made me feel welcome so, kudos to her for not batting an eye when the plebeian walked in. Not to miss: a visit to the opulent restrooms. Just that will give you a sense that you too, have no cares in the world... even if it's only for the three minutes it takes you to pee in the enclosed WC with walls of fine marble, and to wash and dry your hands with the individual towelettes provided for that purpose. You too will feel imperial as you stroll out of this most grand of accommodations into the crisp, cold air.

We are from India and have had the chance to travel across Europe, but this hotel truly stands out in one aspect we often miss elsewhere – hospitality. From the moment we checked in until the time we left, the staff went above and beyond. They were genuinely courteous, attentive to every detail, and always willing to go the extra mile to meet our needs. To our surprise, they even provided us with a complimentary city transportation pass. When we mentioned that our next stop was Salzburg, the team thoughtfully handed us a printed guide with site recommendations and dining suggestions, explained with such care that it felt personal. On top of that, the hotel’s location in the heart of the city centre made everything easily accessible. Overall, this stay was nothing short of exceptional, and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting.

The hotel is a heritage building dating from 1465 which has been renovated with a modern eclectic interior while maintaining historical aspects of the architecture. The check-in/lobby is located on the highest floor, which also doubles as the breakfast area and a bar at night. It has fantastic views of the Innsbruck mountains. Stayed in room 201 which was a "Large Double Room". Modern chic decor and amenities with ample space for large suitcases. The room overlooks the main street in the old town; I did not find the noise from the cafes/bistros below to be an issue with the windows closed. I requested extra pillows which were delivered promptly without much delay. Location is excellent, just a few steps away from the Goldenes Dachl and the town square. It is also just a short walk to the funicular station for a trip up the mountains. Lastly, the hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk to the train station, which I found convenient for my day trip to Hall of Tirol.

I stayed 3 nights. Very good location, walking distance to bus stop, train station, funicular , museums, golden roof etc. Staff are very friendly and good manner. Whenever they meet you in corridor or lift, they always politely greet you. Welcome drinks were nice. Coffee is cheaper than outside. Good size room. A little tricky with air conditioning but we managed it.

Super cool boutique hotel in the heart of it all. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredible and the room was just as great. Given the hotel has a small footprint on the ground, we were greeted outside by a fellow who helped us find the entrance and got us to reception on the top floor. That was super helpful as we might have walked past the place unknowingly. The welcome beer or wine were a great touch. This hotel is in the heart of the old part of the city with an incredible selection of bars and restaurants. All the major attractions are just a few steps away. Our room was definitely matched the vibe of this super cool hotel. It was spacious, especially by European standards where that’s a premium. Most importantly, given the location, the windows definitely kept the revelry out so we could enjoy a good night’s sleep. I will definitely be coming back!

A lovely hotel in the heart of old town Innsbruck. The hotel was very nice and clean however the rooms lacked several basic amenities such as a refrigerator and phone. The AC in our room was terrible and the thermostat restricts you to adjusting the air only + or - 1.5 degrees C. It was unseasonably warm during our visit and we had essentially no AC. The hotel provided us a Dyson fan that we had to sleep with for 4 nights. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Without the AC issues we would have enjoyed our visit a lot more.

This hotel is in a great location. We stayed 2 nights, and were able to walk to everything we wanted to see. The staff were very nice, especially the receptionist. We were given a welcome drink upon checkin. The rooms are small, but cozy. Bed was comfortable. Our room had a balcony which was nice to sit out on, but it is not private at all. There is another building with windows looking right at you. The cons of the room are that there is no fridge, no desk & no coffee machine. Adding even a coffee machine would go far

A truly welcoming hotel where the owner personally greets guests at breakfast. The breakfast is both beautiful and delicious. Despite the building’s historical charm, the space is stylish and spotless. The only downside was the shower — there was no door, so it was hard to stay warm and water splashed everywhere. Other than that, everything was perfect.

What a fabulous stay! The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The room was wonderful and so quiet considering we were in the heart of the city. A beautiful breakfast (highly recommend you do the 'breakfast included' option when booking). Our stay was fantastic...could not have been better!

We stayed at the Lamee hotel, which is as described right by the topazz. The location is great, near by everything that you need. The service was ok, we didn’t not had a specific issue. The room is a bit disappointment, the design is a bit old, and the tables are not super clean. The beds are not comfortable (personal taste). Value for money is probably good, but It seems like topazz facilitates are superior.

Have just stayed at the hotel for a week of vacation in Vienna. The location is great , it is close to everything you would want to do or see your first time in Vienna, though it may be quite loud at night on Fridays and Saturdays. Rooms are nice and I felt like we had enough space for our luggage. Good shower , bath and a toilet . All great. Two things that were not the best : 1. The toilet mirror did not have bright lights and was quite dim and threw shadow on the face . The little mirror that was supposed to have light was not working. Not make up friendly. 2. There was a couch . The fabric was quite dirty . I think they tried to wash some parts of it but it still looked not clean. So that bothered me . I would suggest to change the fabric altogether. Otherwise, we had a pleasant stay. The possibility to stay there again is high.

A great hotel. Centrally located so easy walking distance to all the attractions. Staff are brilliant. Coffee making in room with pods but no kettle. Asked for one and delivered in minutes along with larger mugs for the wife’s green tea. Breakfast is fantastic with a great range of continental and additional hot offerings. The breakfast staff were attentive and helpful. Service was great. Also good to have the sister hotel Lamee across the road with its rooftop bar. Amazing views and great cocktails but you need to book which reception will do for you. Yes the hotel is a little on the expensive side but well worth it for its location, quality rooms and most of all it’s fantastic staff.

This is our second time staying at this hotel, in the Topaz building, and our second time encountering a problem with our rooms. We booked a Prestige room, but it was very small, even though the website stated 23-25 ​​square meters (26-28 square feet). We asked for two adjoining rooms, but they put us on different floors.

If we could only give the service 10 stars. The front desk managers on every shift were amazingly helpful, joyful and assisted us with everything needed or needed to know. The location was simply perfect, the rooms were clean and quiet, the bed and pillows were very comfortable. We did not have breakfast at the hotel, but had coffee every morning at the restaurant and it looked tasty. From start to the end we had an amazing experience. Many thanks to all the stuff!

What a truly wonderful stay! We stayed in the Salon Suite, which was spacious and beautifully designed, with a gorgeous bathroom. The breakfast was absolutely delightful — such a fantastic selection of breads, fresh fruit, and local treats, all served in a warm, charming setting. The service was excellent everywhere in the hotel, and every detail made us feel welcome. Thank you so much for making our time here so memorable!
