We had breakfast here and a got a little of everything- eggs Benedict, the pancakes, fruit plate, smoothies, margaritas lol it was so fresh and delicious 😋 the service was incredible and they were so kind with my toddler!

LOVE visiting isla mujeres and have been twice. However, I was honestly struggling on finding good food. This place is delicious and definitely hit the spot! I could eat here for Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner.

I had the great pleasure of having lunch at Mangos and it was absolutely amazing! The food? Delish, delish, delish! The service was excellent—friendly, fast, and welcoming. The atmosphere? Five Stars! 🌟 Mango Café in Isla Mujeres is an absolute gem! The food was delicious, and the service was truly exceptional; warm, attentive, and full of heart. I even had caramel ice cream topped with roasted almonds at 7:30 AM, and yes—it was that good! The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and everything about the experience felt special. One of the best places on the island for breakfast! From the pancakes to the chilaquilas to the breakfast quesadillas, everything had lots of flavor and they used fresh ingredients. We went twice in 4 days if that tells you anything.

Delicious food and quick service. The ladies were very kind and their English is very good so communicating was very easy. This place is priced like a tourist restaurant but the portion sizes for what you pay are large. Very worth your money. Will be coming back here for sure. 10/10

North garden is the perfect place for breakfast or lunch on your way to the beach. The restaurant has a beautifully natural setting and it's a cool escape from the heat. Food was excellent along with their homemade salsas and baked goods. Our waiter Oscar helped make our breakfast very enjoyable. Their prices are very reasonable cheaper than comparable meals on Hidalgo Street

Absolutely loved our breakfast at North Garden! Oscar was amazing—super friendly and made us feel right at home. The food was fantastic. The salmon bagel and eggs Benedict were both incredible—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Just a heads up: the spicy sauce means spicy… proceed with caution 😅. Great atmosphere, great service, and definitely a must-visit if you’re on the island. GO BIRDS OSCAR! 🦅

Perfect! The meals were super generous, couldn’t finish my 3 egg omelette, and my wife couldn’t finish the eggs with the hot cakes! The place is beautiful and the music and the atmosphere was brilliant! The food was really good, but the atmosphere and the service was fantastic! Oscar was very personal and made sure we had everything that we needed. If you choose to stop by make sure to ask for Oscar!

Stopped in this morning for breakfast to discover they make freshly baked bagels every morning. My sister had the bagel with cream cheese and loved it. I ordered the pancakes with Nutella and bananas. Oh my goodness! Huge, fluffy and enough for two! The owner, Fernando, is funny and very welcoming. Highly recommended!

We happened upon this place by driving around the island and were STARVING. When I tell you, the service, food, and ambiance hit different… I mean it. We were greeted as we passed and offered a menu by the hostess. We agreed and were led to a table and offered our choice of tables. Oscar was our waiter and he went above and beyond! He was friendly and patient with a pair of hangry and irritable ladies (my friend and I). He did an absolutely amazing job with service and questions we had. I cannot recommend this place enough. I had the banana and caramel pancakes! They were amazing! My friend had the cinnamon roll pancakes and hers were very good as well. Make sure you get the bacon with whatever you get!

Delicious!!!! We had the chilaquiles and the cinnamon roll pancakes & it was perfection! Their famous Bloody Mary did not disappoint and was a perfect hint of spice. Highly recommend laid back atmosphere and staff were so friendly!

Well, this place did not disappoint, if you are looking for a home-cooked gourmet meal on a budget this is the place! We stumbled upon La Lomita towards the end of the central section and decided to pop in for lunch. We ordered the Chicken Mole, omg amazing! It's not so frequent that you find amazing Mole but this place has it perfected. Along side a fresca lemonade and all served in clay cups and plates in a vibrantly painted little place at the top of a hill. I will be going back!

4.5 stars - They weren’t busy and service was pretty slow. Our food came out at different times. But reasonable prices and the food itself was very good. Wife enjoyed octopus ceviche, and the chile relleno was quite tasty.

La Lomite cafe is such a colourful and eye-catching place, you can’t help but notice it as you walk past. We popped in on a whim, just fancying a quick tequila in a proper Mexican cafe. The staff were really friendly and quickly sorted us out with tequila shots, complete with lemon and salt. A lovely little stop – glad we dropped by!

DO NOT MISS THIS PLACE!!! This is the best food i've had on the island-- everything was fresh, flavorful and well priced! We ordered guacamole, pico de gallo, 3 beers, skewers and fish and it was just under $50. The portions were also huge! Would come back again and again

Authentic mexican homemade style. If you want a real maxican food experience this is your place. It is not a super turistic place and they dont know English too well but thats part of the authentic experience. Would recommend 10/10

I heard the garlic fish was really good so we went here for dinner. It’s off the beaten path so I thought the prices would be reasonable. I was wrong. One can of corona is 60 peso! Ridiculous. They don’t let you sub out anything either. I don’t like rice or beans. So I asked if they could sub it out for fries and I’d pay extra, they said no. That I had to pay full price for them. Our server was nice, not his fault. The woman who I’m assuming owns it or manages it was rude and said I can’t switch. I then asked what the price would be if I just got the fish, they said it would be $180! So I’d have to pay 20 peso more to not have the rice or beans? None of it made any sense. Anyways, the coconut shrimp is the most expensive on the island. 260 peso for only 3 shrimp! Everywhere else you get around 7 for 240 peso. I don’t recommend coming here. The fish was good but they aren’t accommodating at all. You get more for your money anywhere else.

Good little corner restaurant with service with a smile. The prices are very good. The food tastes very good. I ordered chicken with egg chilaquiles with green sauce. My wife had pancakes very good, fluffy, and very filling . The coco milk with banana with a side of ice. Is a must! Please support the locals.

Q’Bravo is the spot in the island for a delicious breakfast you will not be disappointed it’s tucked away by the plaza. My wife and I come here everytime we visit isla mujeres. Wife had the chilaquiles with mole with chicken and I had huevos rancheros. Service is also good the waitress are always attentive if you want something delicious for breakfast Q’Bravo is the place to be.

Came here on reviews and recommendations of locals. The experience didn’t disappoint. Everything we had was really fresh and good. We had a lot of dishes and they were all delicious. Highly recommend it. They do close early so make sure to get there in time.

My favorite kind of place. A little hole-in-the-wall that serves up some great plates! We stumbled across this wandering the island and had the best shrimp 🍤, cheese 🧀 and spinach omelette! Along with fresh squeezed orange 🍊 juice. I would have gone back again and again if we weren’t on our way out.

This is the best place we went for breakfast and if we could do it over again we'd go everyday. I don't even know what I ordered, but it was amazing. My partner ordered something with mole and it was also amazing. It was also crazy inexpensive. We didn't interact much with the staff, but they seemed pretty amicable. Honestly, if you're on the island then you should go here. You won't regret it.

This is my SPOT! We had breakfast here every morning almost on our trip. It’s quick and cheap and delicious. I’ve tried so many things but my favorites are the steak chilaquiles and the hot cakes. No air conditioning so you will sweat but that’s a given almost anywhere on the island. Highly recommend

We were on the hunt for our first burrito and thought why not have a breakfast one. So we goggled burritos and this one had the best reviews So we thought we’d give it a go. We walked up to it and it’s pretty much a shack with a few bar stools and a yummy menu. The guy who runs it/chef are lovely and friendly. The burritos were insane! The breakfast one with minced chorizo is 🤤 My partner got a chicken one and I think it was one of the best chicken burritos I’ve ever had! Definitely add this to your list when visiting Isla Mujeres

First time on Isla Mujeres and already got lucky to taste the best burritos. Highly recommend. The service is great, but the very burritos are so worth to come back again. We had to return, of course, and try them for the second time. Both times I ordered Grilled Portobello and can’t wait to taste it again. My husband tried Cali Classic and Texas Fajita. All of them are just delicious.

This spot had the best burrito I’ve ever had. It is a mustache and try out. The staff was amazing and the food was so tasty as somebody that’s traveled a lot of the world. I was so impressed by this place.

We accidently ended up in front of Beachin' Burrito early in the morning and decided to get some breakfast. That decision was the perfect one. The Breakfast Burrito and Texas Fajita Burrito really hit the spot. The staff was amazing and gave us great tips about the island. Would highly recommend and would be back again!

New location, but same great food and service! Was a little bummed when they moved to La Gloria but Rubens now has a second restaurant right smack dab in the middle of the fun on Hidalgo. It has both inside and outside seating. We chose inside just because it was pretty hot and oppressive outside. It’s bright, airy and clean. Has a large bar with great selection of drinks. Of course our server, Cesar, is the absolute best! Attentive, kind and I love to hear him sing! I had the shrimp and it was amazing. Husband had a beef burrito and also very good. Rubens will always be a go to place for us!

As much as I missed the charm of the location on Guerrero the Hidalgo is much nicer. Great food and cold beers. The coconut shrimp were my favourite, nice presentation

Excellent! I had the beef chimichanga and he had a shrimp burrito. They were both wonderful. Don’t let the menu confuse it - it’s very good quality meat, perhaps skirt steak. Tender and well prepared. The shrimp seemed fresh as well. Ask for pico with your chips. Everything was cooked to perfection!

Reubens has now moved onto the main part of Hidalgo into a lovely spot. The lobster eggs Benedict was excellent. We highly recommend this place and will definitely be back!

I stayed at the little Airbnb next to it (florita 39) and it included the breakfast from here which was so delicious definitely recommend the food and Airbnb it was excellent.

Highly recommended! The service is wonderful and the food is delicious. We had the steak nachos, burrito and chimichanga. Goodness gracious! Everything was so flavourful and perfect. The drinks are delicious as well. The prices are much more reasonable than the restaurants next to the beach. They’re only a short walk from the North beach (around 5 minute walk). Definitely recommend going there over the beach front restaurants. Best nachos I’ve had in Mexico so far. Super yummy! Prepare your stomach because it’s big portions.

Beautiful new location and still the same wonderful food! Love the fact that there is an indoor option with ac now, but I do miss the atmosphere of the rooftop dining at the old location.

Visited Isla Mujeres for my birthday and as soon as we got off the ship it was time for breakfast. We found this place on Google maps and decided to give it a try. There was plenty of people and the food looked amazing. The waitress took our order and got us our coffee very quick. The server was very attentive and helpful when ordering and made the process seamless. Our food came out very quick and we were very surprised. Everything we ordered was excellent and fresh. The flavor, drinks and service were beyond our expectations and we will definitely be back!

Come here for the coffee - it’s worth it. I think I drank 4 or 5 cups of coffee here before we left. It was pretty dang good and really hit the spot for our morning adventures. The place has got some good size and we appreciated them accommodating our group of nine by joining together several tables. The food took a little long to get out, but there are some interesting artworks located along the walls to checkout while waiting for your food. The food was pretty good, nice and light.

We are headed home from a great week on Isla Mujeres. Mogagua was the only restaurant we visited twice. Food was great, lot of basic breakfast options. Service was phenomenal!! We had Jade twice and somehow she remembered us the second time. This was a fantastic end to our trip. Highly recommend stopping!

After a walk from my hotel to the pharmacy, the pharmacy personnel spoke very highly of their next door neighbor. I had to find out for my own, and it was easy to do so. The place was very inviting for me since there was hanging plants, ivy on the walls, tropical plants everywhere. Overall it’s just a beautiful green space. I had looked at the menu displayed outside before walking in so I was ready to order. I was seated almost upon entering. The server was really welcoming. I ordered a sparkling water and a glass with lime&salt they have a name for that here, it’s a suero! This would kill anyone’s thirst I was feeling vegetarian at the moment so I had an appetite for some cactus tacos. The cactus(nopales) and cheese(panela) delivered and hit the spot right on Full of flavor, the cactus were crunchy, the cheese soft and smoky. The tortillas were good too, that’s a surprise for this part of Mexico lol Service was excellent. Server did not forget about me, he check on me a couple of times. He was fast. He brought me a cushion for the wood chair. Food came out fast and hot. I had such a pleasant experience here. I am definitely making it a stop next time I’m in isla mujeres Thank you everyone at Cafe Mogagua, keep up the good work

This is the worst cappuccino I had on the island so far. I asked for a cappuccino with extra caramel flavor, i paid 110 pesos, and it literally had no taste of coffee neither caramel, it just tasted like foamed milk. The service was fast and the young lady was nice though. Very disappointing experience and I don’t recommend it.

We love this place! Ask for Arodi, he was our server and is the best! Food was amazing. We had the açaí bowl, tacos, avocado toast and breakfast burrito. Can’t recommend this place enough!

We stayed at a hotel right next to Green Verde, so it was super convenient to just walk on over and enjoy a great yet reasonable priced meal. The staff is really nice and the service is quick and efficient. They saw my partner and I scratching all the mosquito bites we had accumulated on the trip and they gave us bug spray. It was so kind.

They are wonderful. Good is excellent, the Rajas Poblanos is a new favorite side dish of mine. They gave me bug spray cause it just finished raining and it was to help with the mosquitos. I will be going back again for a new dish to try.

We ate breakfast here and sometimes lunch every day while we were on the island for 2 weeks. It was so good we just could not keep from going back over and over again. We were always sad on Mondays because it was closed and we had to go somewhere else that day. The food is absolutely delicious and all freshly prepared. The fruit smoothies were so good I couldn't put the glass down until it was empty. Be warned, the drinks are HIGHLY addictive here.The people that work here are all extremely nice and helpful. Looking back on the wonderful tines we had at this restaurant makes me want to go back to Isla Mujeras just so I can go to this restaurant again. I highly recommended it to anyone visiting the island.

The atmosphere is absolutely amazing. Very authentic and beautiful place. They had cute little turtles and a cute dog. Food was amazing! Definitely recommend the nachos; they also had a good selection of food. Staff were very nice.

We stopped in for brunch/breakfast. We got chilaquiles, some iced coffees and other delicious dish that I can’t remember what was the name. It was salsa with ham egg plantain and peas, so unique. Before your food comes, they serve you fresh bread with a sweet jam & butter. I’d go back just for the bread and coffee. The atmosphere was amazing and service was great too.

While staying on Isla Mujeres, my 6 year old daughter and I had the pleasure of having our Airbnb almost directly across the street from this gem of a restaurant. With it being ideally located and the food/drinks being phenomenal- we ate here everyday, often twice a day! As such, I tried nearly every item on the menu, including the specials, and never once had a bad meal! If you are on Isla Mujeres, I implore you to check them out. Not only are the food and drinks delicious, the venue itself is adorable and service is outstanding. We were sad to leave, but will definitely be back.

Absolutely delicious! Some of the best grilled chicken I’ve ever had. And the lobster tacos were fantastic as well. Full of flavor and well priced for the portions we received. It was our third time having Javi’s but our first time in his restaurant, and it definitely won’t be our last! The live music and dancing just added to the whole experience!

Just wow!! We had the best food and service here tonight. The grilled pineapple margarita was our favorite drink. Also recommend the Parmesan crusted fish as an entree. Very flavorful!

Party of 12 with no reservations...they brought us to a private room and gave us the best service. 2 waiters and a helper, amazing service, outstanding food and wonderful atmosphere. I ordered apps for the table, lobster bites, fried asparagus and tuna tar tar. All were fantastic. My entrée was the parmesan chicken, it was fantastic, my only complaint is the entrée was listed with veggies and potato wedges and I was served french fries. All in all, a WONDERFUL experience.

We dined in for Javi’s chef’s table experience and it was phenomenal! The dishes were absolutely amazing. There was not a thing I did not find to be delectable! Javi not only explained his dishes he also shared stories and songs with us, along with his dad. Once again we had a memorable experience dining at Javi’s Cantina and Restaurant.

Visited twice during our first stay on the island. Loved the house bands, they were truly great! Both Upstairs & downstairs options for eats, drinks, & enjoyment of the band. Upstairs balcony looks out on both the action of Hidalgo St. & inside where the band is playing...its really a great layout & a colorful, vibrant place!

Awesome atmosphere. High energy. Good vibes. And a good happy hour deal. We originally went to see the sunrise hut you really cannot from here but it’s a very cool bar with great happy hour prices.

We ordered a charcuterie platter and other items for delivery. When it arrived, half of the items in the picture were not included. There were 2 kinds of meat and 2 kinds of cheese, but no green or black olives, no fresh mozzarella balls, and no cherry tomatoes. The pita bread was soggy toast strips instead. Apparently their picture did not represent what they actually offer. And, the key lime pie tasted like it was made with jello key lime. Really disappointed. Won't go to the physical location after this and will tell the friends who recommended it to us. Note: they did send the driver back with a refund for that item.

The live music was awesome. We were a big group and they served well. I didn't eat but did order the flight of mezcal, which was excellent.

Overall I would have to say this is the best happy hour place to get great drinks and good appetizers. Not all their food on the menu is awesome but select fully there are is many great options.

Don't recommend. We have eaten at al natural for 2 days great portions great food great coffee. But still not great ambience roadside so this place was close by and better table seating and ceiling fans etc so we tried it. Big mistake. Kind of got that "WE GAVE YOU THE TOURIST PRICES MENU". It was double what we paid at Al natural. But not better. Horrible coffee. Wife didn't like the tea. Never offered refill until we asked for Bill. Sorry it's bad coffee and if I wanted more it was 30 minutes earlier. Never came from inside to ask is everything ok need anything refills etc. Mexican eggs was just ok. No hash browns. Toast that was barely toasted. Wife ordered crepes with fruit. Any whip cream? No. Any syrup? No. Just dry crepe with fruit. Had an off taste. Service non existent. Portions big but not tasty. Prices very high. Let's put it this way Playa norte Beach club is cheaper. Only good thing was that it was nice little tables and fans etc to give a nicer ambience whereas Al natural has none but is great in every other way.

Stopped here for a quick bite for breakfast. What a great little family restaurant. Service was incredible and our food was so tasty! I wish we took a picture before we dug in. We had the breakfast sandwich meal and the scrambled eggs, bacon and potatoes. The M&J potatoes were delicious. Eggs and bacon cooked perfectly. So happy we stopped!

Always hit cazuelas for breakfast one day. Piping hot cheesy eggs and mix-ins. Nice fruit plate. Always great service. Not a ton of ambiance but I think to support places not on hildago. Bathrooms were a Mexico 8.

A small restaurant, very really everything is good! The food was amazing, the waitress and kitchen staff is super nice and friendly, the prices were absolutely reasonable for the size of the meat and its taste absolutely fantastic. Definitely a place where I would come again for breakfast!

Food was very flavorful, my cazuelita was steaming hot so be careful with your first bite. Drinks are very basic nothing fancy or crazy. A little pricey considering no meats are offered besides ham and that’s why the 4 stars but other than that it was great.

Came here for breakfast, it was pretty blistering hot (late August). Really enjoyed the "Cazuela" style cuisine, essentially a baked dish with tomatoes mushrooms and some meat, I got shrimp it was good. I'd order a side of refried beans, it goes great with the tortilla intended to eat the dish with.

Best place for breakfast in Isla Mujeres. The first time I visited this place was 6 years ago and until today the quality of the food is great and the price is very good. The cazuelas are great and the portion is generous. Opens from tuesday to sunday 7am to 1pm.

Our go to dinner on the island. Good see food, I recommend the shrimp and the fish flllet dishes, which are priced all between 220-250 pesos, which is a great deal Healthy, feeling and tasty. Also the owner, who is not named Morgan, is a great guy and we enjoyed talking to him every time we ate here. Ps-check when there is live music, and go on those hours. And the shrimp pasta, while it is priced very good, is not that big or tasty, stick to the classics here🇲🇽

Amazing food!! Fried fish was amazing and so fresh!! The fish soup was one of the best fish soups I had. Simple yet full of flavor and definitely hits the spot!! Perfect food!

Loved the food and music at Morgan's. The first evening we walked down Hidalgo Street we heard the music at Morgan's so we sat down for a drink. We came in a second evening for something we saw on the menu - the Morgan's seafood platter. It couldnt have been better. Check out the photos (they don't do it justice!).

Amazing food, staff is friendly and live music. Ate 2 nights in a row. Had snapper for catch of the day which was amazing, loved my garlic octopus. Teenager had fettuccine which was excellent as well. Will definitely be a regular place on trips here. Also the price is super reasonable.

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed their quesadillas using delicious homemade corn tortillas. We noticed the authenticity in the first bite. We also enjoy fish tacos with mango salsa. The fish chunks were perfectly battered and fried. Friendly gentlemen took care of us and recognized us the next day walking on the street.

We had the golf cart and figured we would have dinner away from playa Norte area. This place looked promising. We had a parrillada of alambre (beef) for 255 pesos and most of the meat was raw. The beans that came with it were decent but nothing special. We also had the shrimp ceviche also 255 pesos and it was OK at best. Food was overall bland and not the best value. The service was also not very attentive. It took a while to get food and a lot longer to get the check.

This was the best authentic meal I had on this island. The staff were very attentive and very sweet. Will definitely come again!

Stopped in for dinner and we're hopeful based on reviews. Definitely disappointed. Food was bland....non of the meat had any flavor. Service was great up until the end when one of the staff hard pushed dessert. My husband had to tell them no three times.

This was a great place for a Taco. My daughter and I stopped in for a late night snack. It is bigger than a typical taco place. They have a full bar, although, we just had the tacos.

Wish I could add a half star to this four. Delicious breakfast. I enjoyed the burrito. My partner had the omelette. My mother and son shared the pancakes breakfast platter which included fruit. I haven’t enjoyed many of the pancakes I’ve had over my travels in Quintana Roo. French toast wins most of the time. The batter of the pancakes are too thick most of the time and super dough-y. However, everything else was cooked to perfection. The fruit was tasty. I needed to add sugar to my breakfast smoothie. I would definitely return. I hope you find this review helpful. Terrific find on the last day of our vacation! Wish we would have found this earlier. Off the beaten path but worth it! Shrimp and fish tacos were amazing. Chicken fajitas with fresh corn tortillas terrific. Chicken quesadilla was very tasty both red and green sauces were scrape your plate delicious. Do not skip the drinks they are worth it! Maria is passionate about not only providing great food, but she clearly loves what she does. The food is so flavorful and like a gourmet version of Mexican food. Our table had a variety of menu items from chicken and shrimp tacos to fajitas and a quesadilla. You cannot have a full Coco Jaguar experience without having one of their beverages. I had the Jaguar Limeade (limeade with passion fruit). It was so good I had to order a second for the meal! The only issue, which I will not fault them for, was the meal was a little slow because they had to make more fresh tortillas, yes, FRESH TORTILLAS!

2 times been to Isla Mujeres been to Coco Jaguar for breakfast, lunch and dinner never a disappoint. Best Fish Tacos and last dinner was for Christmas eve, Rib eye steak and Grilled Octopus with rice, glass of wine and homemade desert for $50/pp. Paola, waitress, her cousin owner and chef make sure all food are prepared fresh from island fishery. Also, awesome drinks from the bar.

Had breakfast and diner there. I really enjoyed the food and the service. The food was really more authentic and the flavors were more complex than some other places. The prices are also cheaper than the ones you find at some other restaurants. The staff is really friendly and have a great level of english, so it is nice if you are not super fluent in spanish.

Best food I’ve ever had!! My husband said it was the best fish tacos he’s ever ate as well. The location was cute in the heart of Isla Mujeres. We will be coming back on this trip and future trips, we don’t need to keep searching for the best place to eat anymore. If you’re visiting Cancun take the ferry to the island to come eat here, I promise it will be worth it. Thankfully we’re staying on the island lol

I really enjoyed my food experience here. There was a young man who was our server and he was so adorable, a child really. We had some delicious food here including fish, I recommend the buttered fish. We ended up at this place on accident because we were trying to get to the mercado to get some food on the recommendation of a local. However, it was not open, I am glad that it was not open so that we could try this restaurant.

We came in at lunchtime and ordered a Mexican omelette and the shrimp tacos. The omelette was super fresh and we loved it!. The shrimp in the tacos was deep fried, which wasn't mentioned on the menu (the shrimp tacos at every other restaurant had been grilled so we didn't know to ask). Tacos Tumbras was off the beaten path and felt like a simple and authentic Mexican restaurant. Lots of locals were eating here and that's always a good sign. Fun little “local” spot. I enjoyed the simplicity of this restaurant and the overall atmosphere. The food was excellent, and I loved that they brought tortillas out to the table to enjoy with the meal. The beans were full of flavor and the perfect consistency. I would return!

The most authentic no frills, no thrills Mexican food on the island. I thank my lucky stars I found this place. No one speaks English, a fisherman walked up with plastic bags full of fresh fish… I mean, this place is food for the locals. Loved it.

Quick, friendly service and the food is delicious. The price is very reasonable for eating out on the island. The Huevos Motulenos are excellent especially when you add the fresh habanero pico on top. Great place all around, I can't recommend it enough.

This is the best spot for tortas near playa norte. It was our 4th time going there to eat. The food does not disappoint. This time our service was slower than usual, considering we ordered two horchatas and two tortas. They weren't very busy. Still a great stop for inexpensive prices.

The food here was excellent. I loved the tacos and the quesadilla with tinga de pollo. The prices are really cheap - 4 tacos, quesadilla and drinks cost us less than 300 pesos. A special shoutout to Victor who was very friendly :)

We ate here 3 days in a row because of how good the food was. Great vegetarian options, good prices, wonderful lovely service. 10/10 will come back next time I'm on the island!

everything i tried here was delicious (chilaquiles, omelette, poc chuc, huarache) and the poc chuc (a traditional pork dish of the region) is especially outstanding. the people who work here are so incredibly kind and attentive. also order the agua de jamaica or horchata. can’t wait to eat here again 😭

Food was ok. I had the chicken burrito when it was not busy. That was tasty. I thought the tortilla was made there. We came back for tacos later, and it was busier. Took about 25-30 minutes, and they were a little dry and meh. The chicken was the best compared to the shrimp and fish tacos.

We had lunch there but sadly didn’t like the food. The guacamole with the tortilla chips was great but other than that everything was rather bland. I had high hopes for the tacos but they ended up being quite disappointing. Staff was nice. Note that there is a 4% extra charge if one pays with credit card.

Amazing experience at Taqueria Los Burritos - the food was incredibly tasty, fair prices, such a wide selection, and the drinks were excellent too. We came here all three nights we stayed on Isla Mujeres, the food is unbeatable. Allan was an extremely friendly server, he gave us tips on what to order and took the time to chat to us a bit. A nice restaurant, that doesn't feel as touristic as most of the restaurants on the island. The food is very tasty and they have vegetarian options. The prices are good (especially for this island). The staff is friendly and welcoming. The service is quick. They have a menu in English, which is helpful if you don't speak Spanish.

Decent taco shop on the corner of the street. It’s not the best tacos you’ll find in Mexico, but you really can’t go wrong. Loved the wall art though.

We have eaten all over the island, and Los Burritos has the BEST tacos on the island!! We have came back multiple times. El pastor tacos is are so good and the service is awesome! And you can’t beat their prices! Highly recommend!!!

Four words: Filete de Tikin Xic. These are all you need to know. Tikin Xic (pronounced "Teek in Cheek") is fish grilled Mayan style. However, if fish is not your thing, Letty's has a fantastic variety in their breakfast and lunch menu. 100% recommended.

I had the omelette eggs and they were a bit bland. The rice tasted like it was reheated from a day ago and the tortillas were lukewarm. Overall, the food was not seasoned well. Coffee tasted like it was instant. Plantains were great, as well as the beans. Pretty cheap meal approx $20 cdn

Great food at amazing prices. Letty's is open a little later than the other places attached to the market but their food is outstanding. Really good flavor and they have some dishes we did not find elsewhere on the island. Would highly recommend it. We fed five people for $30 and that was WITH SEAFOOD.

Update, Dec 2022: Came back after a year and found prices haven't changed despite the global inflation - except for the price of octopi. That's gone up to 250 pesos for the ceviche. So I opted for the fish ceviche this time. 5 pesos added for take out to every dish. I got: - Fish ceviche (5/5), 125 pesos - love that they include a habanero pepper. Ask for it to be chopped up if you like it spicy (picante), and ask for additional like. - Huevos con chaya (3.5/5) - Guacamole (5/5) - Tikin Xic, also marked Filete Isleño elsewhere (4.5/5) - this time not AS good as the last time, but still very yummy, especially with the hot sauce 390 pesos for all this. So good. Closed Wednesdays. Otherwise open 8am-4pm. Nov 2021: I got the mixed ceviche (not on the menu: 185 pesos) for take out twice while I stayed six days on the island. Stomach space is prime real estate especially while on vacation, so that tells you something. The medley of octopus and fish (I asked to exclude boiled shrimp) comes together with the significantly-more amount of black pepper they add - it really makes a difference, and in a good way. I also got the snapper Tikin Xic (pronounced sheek, like chic), which was scary-looking but delicious. I say scary because it has a bright red adobo-esque marinade - but taste it, and you'll get it again, all for the grand price of 125 pesos (I got it as takeout so the 5 pesos get added on). The reviews docking points from egg dishes made me hesitate, but I'm glad I tried it! Super sweet staff, too :) Open daily 8am-4pm.

Excellent! I had the beef chimichanga and he had a shrimp burrito. They were both wonderful. Don’t let the menu confuse it - it’s very good quality meat, perhaps skirt steak. Tender and well prepared. The shrimp seemed fresh as well. Ask for pico with your chips. Everything was cooked to perfection!

THIS PLACE TRIED TO SCAM US. I went here for a couple casual drinks at happy hour. The drinks were okay, and we had 4 thinking it was supposed to be 180 pesos for 2, (a 2 for 1 deal) yet they tried charging us 750 FOR 4 drinks! That’s about 40 dollars usd, and we only had 500 pesos because that’s all we brought. And they would not even explain why until the girl told us that the drinks we ordered weren’t included in the happy hour, which they should have said upfront. I wouldn’t have been upset, except that we asked five times if the drinks were included in the happy hour, and we didn’t know what to do, and the lady just left the check on our table and refused to speak to us so we had to leave the 500 and go. Honestly it was the worst experience I’ve had in such miscommunication. It was really upsetting and I feel like I was scammed.
