Restaurant
Del Borgo is a trendy wine-cellar with vaulted stone arches, offering a classical ambiance and good food. The restaurant has a beautiful building and lovely interior, but the atmosphere may be lacking on quieter evenings. However, the extensive wine selection and knowledgeable staff make for a pleasant dining experience. On busier nights, the restaurant exudes an inviting and cozy ambiance, making reservations highly recommended. Guests can enjoy tapas to share and flavorful pasta dishes while being attended to by friendly hosts.
Service is great. Staff is well mannered, helpful, educated and alert. Food fantastic, portions are right, nicely arranged and plate decoration. Owner very friendly. Price are value for money. Well done.
Etienne P — Google review
Nice quality restaurant. The vibe and the food was really nice. They have a good wine menu but we will have wish a taste option for the local wines.
Soledad J — Google review
The atmosphere is cool, down in a cellar. The service is friendly and fast, little bit more eye for the detail would be good. The food was a little disappointing. The special fish was not of the best taste and the traditional bread filled with pork was a bit boring. Despite that it was fine. The chicken Caesar was good! One of the white wines was good. For wine lovers probably a good place. Just to eat, a little underwhelming.
Valentin P — Google review
This was a truly lovely Italian restaurant. It took us a little while to find it, as it’s tucked away in a quiet spot, but it’s absolutely worth it. We received a warm and friendly welcome, and the whole place has an authentic Italian charm. The menu isn’t large, but that’s part of its strength — every dish is original and outstanding in both flavor and presentation. We were a group of seven, and every one of us enjoyed an excellent meal. The food was full of taste, the portions were generous, and the prices were very fair. As it’s also an enoteca, the wine selection is fantastic, and the staff give great recommendations. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience — great food, excellent value for money, and genuinely friendly service that made the evening perfect.
Marc E — Google review
We ate here for my birthday, the staff were incredibly attentive, we ate great food, the platter for starter and Gnocchi. The maltese wine was a hit. Well worth a visit and a good price too.
Nicola Z — Google review
Fantastic food, good portion size and excellent value. We came of a Saturday evening without a reservation and they kindly accommodated us. The service was knowledgeable and professional. The wine menu was vast with great recommendations from the waiter. The beef cheek was 10/10.

Fabulous wine bar. Excellent food. We had selection of delicious tapas first time. Second visit we shared charcuterie board-amazing.

This is a well run restaurant. Owner is very délogent. The food is good however had the Bil Gunglien out of interest found the meat over seasoned with too high a bread content

Fernandõ. Gastrotheque offers a remarkable Mediterranean culinary experience, perfect for special occasions or romantic evenings. The attentive staff ensures a memorable dining experience from start to finish. The thought-provoking and surprising dishes leave a lasting impression, making it an ideal choice for food enthusiasts. The restaurant boasts an extensive wine selection and well-balanced tasting menus, complemented by excellent service.
Exceptional dining experience! We had the tasting menu and every dish was wonderful. My favourite dish was the sashimi of local tuna. I don’t think I’ve ever eaten anything so delicious. It was a piece of heaven. The wine pairing recommendations were fantastic and elevated the dining experience. Staff were so lovely, and attentive, but gave enough space for us to enjoy our dinner. Head chef Hiram also came around to say hello and explained a few of the dishes- was lovely to meet him. Will definitely return!
Naomi O — Google review
We stumbled across Fernandõ without a reservation, and they invited us in. It was great! We chose the a la carte three courses for €85 each and couldn’t have been happier. Each course was simple enough, however the flavours of each were quite remarkable. A great meal!
Michael B — Google review
Here the dishes are such as painting and unbelievable delicious. The service is fabulous and they really surprise you with everything, including with special cocktails. "Fernando" Gastrotheque can make you feel special...
Чарлийз Т — Google review
Fernando Gastrotheque was one of the highlights of my recent trip to Malta. Tucked away from busy streets and tourist attractions, this little but cozy restaurant offered me outstanding dishes, really good service and an exciting wine list. Each dish was well-balanced and prepared with an attention to detail. Subtle Asian influences throughout (I later discovered that the Chef is half-Japanese). Sommelier’s recommendations were spot on - I discovered a British sparkling wine prepared exactly according to the Champagne methodology, as well as an outstanding wine by Markus Divinus (a local wine producer). It was quite pleasant that the chef came out to greet me, and we engaged in a brief conversation. All in all - a truly wonderful experience.
G. M — Google review
We enjoyed both the food and the atmosphere. It was very convenient to be able to book on the same day and to have the option to order à la carte with three dishes.
L. F — Google review
Truly a wonderful dining experience from start to finish. We chose a variety of items from the set menu and were delighted with every course. Each dish was executed with precision and perfection. A true highlight was the chutneys in the additional cheese course. Hard to choose a favourite dish out of everything we tried, and the unusual pairings of sesame and strawberry was truly delightful in the dessert. We also had the pleasure of chatting with the sommelier who provided us fabulous recommendations for wine based on our asked and we had a glass of the Gewürztraminer Grand Cru Kirchberg with our first course and shared a bottle of Crios Torrontes with the rest of the meal.
Prapti S — Google review
A true gastronomic experience ❤️ When you go to a Michelin restaurant, you are buying a ticket to a show - a gastro-theatre - and at Fernandõ Gastrotheque, the performance was flawless from start to finish. I chose the 7-course tasting menu with wine pairing and every moment was a delight. The evening began with an apéritif: a Blanc de Blancs Champagne from the boutique house Abele 1757 - fresh, elegant and a perfect opening note. One of the highlights was the ravioli with pomegranate seeds - a surprising and beautiful combination of textures and flavors. The chef, half-Japanese and half-Maltese, brings an exquisite lightness and precision to each dish, blending subtle Eastern influences with Mediterranean soul. A special mention to the sommelier - bravo! The pairings were thoughtful and surprising. I rarely enjoy orange wine, but the 2021 Domaine de l’Estagnère Vin Orange by Gérard Bertrand was a revelation. Thanks to the sommelier’s choice, I truly appreciated it. Chef - bravo! This was not just dinner, it was a story told in flavor.
X S — Google review
It was one of the best culinary experiences I ever had! We went to celebrate our anniversary and it was amazing. From the moment we entered the door till the moment we left, the staff was amazing, constantly making sure we had an amazing night. The food was above and beyond any expectations. It was though provoking, surprising, thrilling, and left us thinking and talking about it for days. The restaurant is perfect for a nice dinner or event better for a romantic moment with your loved one. I salute the chefs and the brigade it was a pleasure to dine there and we will for sure be back.

Restaurant
Aarons Kitchen in Valletta offers an authentic taste of Malta with a modest, family-run eatery atmosphere. Headed by chef Aaron Degabriele, the restaurant features a Maltese menu with Italian influences and showcases local delicacies like frejjeg tat-tarja and ravjul tal-Gbejniet.
I had the pleasure of dining at Aaron’s Kitchen in Malta and was absolutely delighted with the entire experience. The food was outstanding—beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and clearly made with great care and quality ingredients. Every dish we tried was delicious and memorable. What made the evening even more special was the wonderful staff. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Their warmth and professionalism added a lot to the overall experience. Aaron’s Kitchen is truly a gem, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic meal in a relaxed, welcoming setting. I’ll definitely be coming back! Highly recommended!!
Raymond — Google review
I visited Aaron’s Kitchen with my family and we had an absolutely wonderful time. I’ve always thought that Michelin-recognized restaurants come with very high prices, but here the menu is surprisingly reasonable, with “normal” prices for truly outstanding food. The dishes were excellent – beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and simply delicious. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it perfect for both a family outing and a special evening. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy top-quality food without the intimidating price tag often associated with fine dining.
Adrian L — Google review
Great meal and service. 100% book a head and reserve a table very popular restaurant. We shared the rabbit patties, gorgeous as starter. I had the pork ribs my wife had the duck breast. Both cooked to perfection. The wine selected by our waiter very good as our 1st choice was out of stock.
A ( — Google review
We had walked past this restaurant many times in our week in Malta and it was always full! We decided to see what everyone was experiencing by making an online booking. We requested an outdoor table when we arrived and one was available - nice atmosphere outside and they had patio heaters to offset the cool evening in November. Nice varied menu plus many specials for the day made it a challenge to decide! In the end we ordered the local sharing platter to start. This was a good choice and we were able to try a few different items which we wouldn’t normally have tried eg corned beef and liver wrapped in bacon. For our main course I had the suckling pig - this was beautifully cooked and so tasty. My wife had the large prawns which were great too though she felt the accompanying risotto was too spicy. Too full for desert! Excellent and attentive service from the staff. Overall a great meal and can see why it was always full!
Neale H — Google review
Great place for dinner. We made reservations and we easily scheduled in at 7:30pm. Not a lot of people dining at first. Great service. We were brought our drinks, delicious bread, and appetizers daily quickly. Then our meals. We ordered the rabbit stew. Delicious. Also had one of the specials for the day, the Prawn Aracini. Both were delicious. Rabbit was tender and full of delicious sauce. I recommend an early dinner if possible. The restaurant started to get filled with people around 8:30pm. I noticed most had reservations. A few people who did not have a reservation were offered outdoor seating which was not bad either.
Jose R — Google review
Our first dinner in Valetta. We didn’t have a booking but we were there early enough to get a table inside. It was very warm outside so we were glad they had a spare table inside. So, yes best to book in advance so you can enjoy their food. I ordered the duck as my main & it was delicious. My husband ordered from their specials list & ordered the fish. I had a bite & that was great as well. There were complimentary bread and my meal came with potatoes so we were stuffed.
Geraldine G — Google review
Had high expectations for a Michelin recommended restaurant. But the food was nothing special, especially for the price. I ordered a lamb dish and my partner had duck. Both were unevenly cooked with parts more like medium well when we asked for rarer meat. The side vegetables were poor as they had no flavour. The potatoes were very nice though. Overall, I felt that can get better food for less money and not Michelin recommended back in the UK.
Charlotte P — Google review
For the price, I expected a bit more. The rabbit stew was tasty, not mindblowing but the presentation and the way that potatoes and vegetables (very small amount of them tbh€ were served, left a lot to offer. I will admit though, that the dessert was incredible and beautifully served, as I’ve learned later, the chef is a pastry chef and that explains a lot. While it’s cosy, the inside is a bit old looking, there are weird posters on the walls, and the toilet is just disgusting and dirty

Grain Street is a culinary treasure located within the upscale Rosselli AX Privilege hotel on Merchant Street in Valletta. It is part of the esteemed Grain restaurant trio under the AX Hotels brand, led by Executive Chef Victor Borg. The restaurant offers an al fresco dining experience and has earned a coveted Bib Gourmand for its inventive Mediterranean-inspired cuisine crafted from locally sourced ingredients.
Creative Chefs, knowledgeable staff and first class friendly service in downtown Valletta, We couldn't have asked for more from Grain Street. Not to forget the stylish show windows and restaurant decor that just blew me away. Thank you Katho for your very helpful recommendations of the wines we had, we are still talking about the taste!
Marion G — Google review
Very creative menu. Try all of the snacks / starters. Very cozy comfortable location. You can see and taste the influence of the Michelin star kitchen that also belongs to the same hotel.
Daniel — Google review
Amazing breakfast venue with even more amazing staff. With a fantastic view down to the sea, thus is a great venue. The set breakfasts were just beyond compare and the staff so friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back! Special call out to the team lead Katho for whom nothing was too much trouble.
Loraine M — Google review
Tucked away on a quiet side street for pedestrians near the Rosselli Hotel, Grain street sits adjacent to its sister restaurant with a Michelin star called Under Grain and they share the same kitchen. The two spacious outdoor dining areas — perfect for warm days with chilled background music. The terrace is stylish and inviting, setting a refined yet relaxed tone. Inside, there’s a small bar and a couple of tables near the entrance, giving an intimate first impression. The meal started well with excellent bread, tuna tapenade, good-quality olive oil, and marinated olives. The starter of pig’s ears — thinly sliced, lightly battered, and slightly sweet with a touch of sauce — was an interesting and well-executed dish, great for sharing. For mains, I tried the local fresh fish (sea bass) with Bronte pistachio, pink grapefruit, and basil. The flavours were pleasant, and the nut crust added nice texture, but the portion was disappointingly small and felt poor value for money. The Lasagne ‘Nera’ — a seafood lasagna made with squid ink, calamari, and a hint of nduja — was very good, rich in flavour and beautifully balanced (€19/€22). I also sampled the local Hauteville Cabernet–Shiraz blend. It was fine, but again, the pour was on the small side for the price. Service, while polite, was glacially slow — a true example of the “slow food” experience, though perhaps unintentionally
Travelling D — Google review
One of the best restaurants we’ve been to. We had the tasting menu, and everything served was exceptionally amazing! The risotto and the nero di sepia lasagna are beautiful. The desserts were mouthwateringly good..definetly helped to end the night on a sweet note. The only complain i have is that the portions were a bit small for the price of the tasting menu. Other than that, I cannot flaw the food, the service or the atmosphere. Would 100% recommend and revisit
Ber S — Google review
It was the best food experience during our 6 nights staying in Malta. The food was delicious, especially local tomato salad with burratina and passion fruit tart, service on the highest level, atmosphere- chic and elegant. Worth to recommend and come back!
Iana D — Google review
We spent almost two weeks at Hotel St. John and had the pleasure of enjoying the breakfast. Every day was a delight. A heartfelt thank you for the excellent service and outstanding care. A huge thank you goes to the breakfast manager Katho, who, together with her wonderful team, turned every morning into an experience with great oversight and professionalism. Each morning was a wonderful start to a new vacation day. Warm greetings from Germany.

We enjoyed a flawless meal at Grain Street our first night in Valletta. We had drinks, appetizers, main courses, and desserts - all were exceptionally delicious. I had the grilled rib-eye and the flavor of the sauce was so tasty but didn’t take away from the flavor of the steak - yum. The complimentary bread, olives, and spread were a nice bonus (best bread we tried in Malta). The service was friendly and gave great suggestions. My wife enjoyed a pasta dish. The rice ice cream tasted heavenly, as did the passion fruit tart. We highly recommend this place and plan to return any time we visit Malta in the future.

The Little Red Door in Valletta, Malta is a charming wine bar that offers a casual and inviting atmosphere for friends to gather and enjoy a selection of wines and nibbles. The venue boasts an indoor space as well as outdoor seating for pleasant weather. It's known for its customizable charcuterie platters with over 20 types of cheese and meats to choose from. In addition to the platters, they also offer options like focaccia or lasagna.
This was AN AMAZING experience!! Menu highlight was the charcuterie and cheese board! The shop owner is so sweet and builds each board to your liking! You can choose 3 meats and 3 cheeses or 4 meats and 4 cheeses! Everything is completely customizable and you go up and say what meats or cheeses you want! So cool especially for any picky eaters! The wine selection was great too. So many options for all taste buds!
Kelly P — Google review
Fantastic cheese and charcuterie restaurant, so many choices and such huge platters, and even better wine list. Great value for money! As vegetarians we had the cheese platter, choices were not as extensive as a good cheese counter I expected.
Ajay P — Google review
The owner told us it was the best platter in Malta which I was a bit skeptical at, at first having tried lots of amazing platters across Malta but I have to admit he was right! The platter was super fresh with all top ingredients and a great selection which they recommended and chose for us. The waitress who was super helpful recommended us a really nice wine and the owner kept coming over to make sure everything was good with us, which it was. 10/10 place and we will be back again for sure! Thanks guys
James P — Google review
Probably the best place for a charcuterie board in Valletta. A cosy little place that is larger than you'd expect on the inside, with a great selection of wines, meats and cheese. You can either construct your own board from their large selection, or you can allow the chef to surprise you instead with his choices. Either way, an unforgettable experience with a very comfortable and intimate atmosphere. Reservations are a must, this place fills up quickly and can get quite busy.
Alexander K — Google review
Lovely place to go inside to cool off while having tapas style platter and great wine. We let the chef decide which meat and cheese to give us and he didnt disappoint!

Great little restaurant run by the chef who seems to manage very well in a tiny kitchen. Restricted menu, mostly Platters, salads and starters. No dessert. Seems popular. We've eaten there 3 times in the last 2 years.

One of the most enchanting aspects of Valletta's culture is its vibrant outdoor dining scene, especially along the charming staircases near the Three Cities harbor. Picture this: diners and couples enjoying their meals under twinkling fairy lights, creating a magical atmosphere. During my visit in March '25, I stumbled upon 1522 A Food Story, a hidden gem that perfectly balances liveliness with intimacy—ideal for people-watching while still allowing for quiet conversations.
I recommend! If you want to feel the spirit of Valletta, you must sit at this place for lunch. They are located in the middle of a street with a view of the Cam Cathedral at the bottom. They cook very tasty! You don't have to wait too long. The service is very good - polite, but not intrusive. Be sure to try the dishes in the photos. I didn't remember their names, but you can show them to the waiter.

If you’re in Valetta then you have to visit this place! Everything we tried was great but the pinsa… pure perfection! 🤩 People working there are amazing, lots of laughs and smiles! Also the location is breathtaking (long stairs in the heart of Valetta) and make you feel like you’re in a movie & having the most romantic dinner of your life! I loved it!

Unforgettable Experience at 1522. What an unforgettable experience! 1522 is a family-owned gem where the people are full of charm and the food is bursting with flavor. The staff were so kind and accommodating—even with our large party that included children. Every dish was incredible, rich with authentic taste and heart. It’s truly one of those meals you’ll never forget—an experience that, all on its own, is reason enough to come back to Malta.

Such wonderful friendly service. We sat outside on the stairs which was lovely and had absolutely amazing food for lunch. The pasta dish was the best thing we ate our whole holiday in Malta, we will definitely be back next time we are in Valletta!

A great place to eat run by a Maltese family. The food and service was excellent. Freshly prepared and very reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend this place and if we come back to Valletta we'd come back here.

I've been living in Malta for 6 years and I have to say that the classic Rosette and the Rosette with ricotta and spinach are the best pasta dishes I've ever tasted. Everything you want in a dish, they have it. Flavors, texture, quantity and QUALITY. The tiramisu, please, no words. The service 20 out of 10. For sure will come back.

Easy to miss if you’re not aware what a gem you are passing by, this wine bar has a beautiful selection of wines. The oldest and by far the best wine bar in Malta. We found this place by chance and were welcomed by Andres, we have felt like home since the first time. Since then, we also brought our family here and were welcomed by the owner Chris, who embodies the spirit of this establishment. Do try the chicken pâté! It’s the only item which hasn’t been removed from the menu since this bar was founded 24 years ago. The personnel feels like part of the soul of this quaint little place. Thank you for having us, Luca & Poppy

Inside and outside - Great vibe and Cool music. Great selection of wines and food. I had the Fiocco and the Ceviche. Friendly welcoming service. I will return.

Lovely spot tucked away in the alleys of Valletta, perfect for enjoying wine and some small bites in a lively and friendly atmosphere. They also have a good selection of digestifs for the end of the evening. Andresito was very skilled and professional. My girlfriend and I will definitely be back!

Very nice atmosphere, super tasty food and amazing nice service!!! We discover it by chance and it became such romantic and atmospheric evening. Total recommendation!
Marc P — Google review
Friendly service quality with wide wine menus and cheese options. Especially the cheeses were delicious. However, the outside seating was not comfortable because it was sloping, but it is still a restaurant with a nice ambiance in one of the side streets of Valletta. I recommend it for fine dining
Yasin — Google review
Beautiful spot. We had a bottle of wine and a mixed cheese/meat board with recommendations from the waiter. It is a little expensive. They don’t offer a meat/cheese plate on the menu so you need to order the cheese board and add the meat separately which adds up. Having a full charcuterie board on the menu would be a positive addition. Can’t fault the food, service or the setting though.

Rosselli - AX Privilege is a luxurious hotel located in Valletta, Malta, offering chic accommodations and upscale amenities. The hotel features two renowned restaurants: the Michelin-starred Under Grain for fine dining and the Bib Gourmand-awarded Grain Street for casual Mediterranean fare. Guests can enjoy an outdoor pool and a rooftop bar with stunning sea views. The hotel's central location provides easy access to historical sites such as St.
The Rosselli offers a great central location within easy walking distance of everything. All staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble, including our requests for extra water bottles. We will stay again but next time not upgrade to a suite, these have a narrow spiral staircase up to the bed, not ideal when you need to use the facilities in the night as the bathroom is downstairs! Roof bar terrace was not officially open but we were able to have a bottle of Prosecco brought up.

Exceptional stay! Our room was stylishly designed, extremely comfortable, and perfectly thought through in every detail. We were upgraded to a beautiful corner superior room with two balconies, which was a real treat. Breakfast was outstanding – almost à la carte, with a huge selection and top-quality ingredients. Service was impeccable, with every staff member being genuinely friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

We loved our stay here! It was our first stop in Malta and the central location was perfect. The room was sort of typical (we booked the lowest tiered room) but very nice with a modern remodel. Their breakfast was one of the most memorable parts for me! The options, food and service were top notch and we even slept in one morning (we were jet lagged) and they kindly let us sneak in a few minutes late. Would definitely recommend staying here for a cozy urban boutique experience with great service!
Chelsea K — Google review
Wow, talk about service and style! This hotel (and restaurants) are top! From the front desk to the restaurant staff to house keeping we felt so very taken care of and welcomed. Also, the hotel is a very beautiful and elegant renovation of a 17th century large urban home. A magical place. We look forward to our next visit. Note: if you prefer very quiet rooms I recommend one in the back of the hotel as the ones facing the street (particularly on the 3rd floor) can get loud from the next-door street bar crowd and its live music.

We weren't staying,we stopped for lunch, staff were amazing, the food was fabulous ( try the deep fried lasagna bites) I loved the way they brought crusty bread and olive oil straight away, the wine was served by the glass by our waitress, who knew her wines. All in all a 5* experience. Later they were very kind when we were exhausted by the heat and walking, and helped us get a taxi back to our ship. Grazzi😁

We recently had the absolute joy of celebrating our wedding at Rosselli – AX Privilege, and from start to finish, the experience was nothing short of magical. We also stayed for two nights at the hotel, and those days will remain etched in our hearts forever. This hotel is truly world class. Every detail exudes luxury, elegance, and comfort. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty. The staff are beyond exceptional warm, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to making every moment special. Nothing was ever too much to ask, and their care and hospitality made us feel incredibly supported on such an important occasion. Our wedding day was perfect in every way. Far beyond anything we had dreamed of. The venue itself is breathtaking, beautifully blending classic Maltese charm with modern luxury. Every corner of the hotel is thoughtfully designed, creating a romantic and sophisticated atmosphere that made our celebration feel truly unique. The food at Grain deserves special mention – it was absolutely incredible. Each dish was a culinary masterpiece. It added another unforgettable layer to an already perfect experience. To everyone at Rosselli – thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You helped create memories we’ll cherish for a lifetime. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. If your looking for a special occasion or a luxurious getaway, Rosselli will exceed every expectation.

The hotel was amazing the staff were OUTSTANDING and we highly recommend this hotel. The location was a bonus and we want to acknowledge the staff for going above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable.

Great hotel in a central location so within easy walking distance of bars, restaurants and all the attractions. We received a warm welcome and were looked after by the wonderful team throughout our stay. The only problem we had was the noise from a local bar, however, this finishes at 12 and is only on for 2 nights of the week so once we knew this we could plan accordingly - i.e. join in!

Salumeria is a popular spot in Malta, known as the 'Home of cheese & charcuterie.' Located in Valletta, it offers two platters filled with delicious cheese and salami. The wine selection is unique and impressive, making it a great place for a romantic date. Visitors rave about the fondue and the generous portions of tasty platters. The ambiance, service, and food are all top-notch according to satisfied customers.
Finaaalllyy a proper wine bar in this beautiful city ! And this one has some proper balls (Christmas ones, of course !) damn good cheese & delicious salami platters with an awesome and unique wine selection. The place is romantic, perfect for impressing that tinder date. Last time I went there we went crazy on the fondue, wowww just wowww (pic below). Things got a little cheesy hehehhe. Not sure if it was the wine, but I remember the owner Pablo (not escobar, although you might end up seeing him too with that kickass whisky selection), he mentioning something about the “Kitchen Take Over” concept where they let you and your friends take over the kitchen and let you be the errr the chef ? I donno but sounds awesome, so we will definitely be back with full force next time around ! Such a breath of fresh air, or more like full-bodied, velvety with a hint of forest floor & squirrels bumm, with a great loooong finish and rough morning the next day

Great ambiance ... Great service ... Great food! We were far from disappointed from our visit at Salumeria. We ordered the 'Censu's Platter' as a starter, which was mouthwateringly delicious, and the 'Cheese and Charcuterie platter', which was really varied and great with a bottle of wine. We will surely visit again soon ... Highly recommend!!
Rebecca F — Google review
Really loved this place. Highly recommend the €5 euro melted pepper cheese with croutons. All the nibble were great and nice wine selection. Owners are so super friendly we went back again. Definitely one of our holiday highlights. Will dream about the melted cheese. Yum. Tried to get the secret recipe with no avail. Lol.

Really really! good restaurant - family business (2 brothers). They took their time to explain the meat/cheese selection and offered the perfect matching wine! Could not get better - seriously!

They have bitterballen!!! What more do I need to say?? 4 stars because it’s a bit pricier than other bars in the area, but still well worth a visit!

An unexpected pleasure! We were looking lunch before heading to Gozo and accidentally chose this place. It did not disappoint! The cocktails/drinks were great and the food... the best cheese/charcuterie plate ever. It is huge. I would try and share it with 3 or even 4 people b/c there is a considerable amount for 2, on there. The food is delicious and the drinks are great. Staff are friendly and timely with service. Would happily return!

(Translated by Google) Cozy wine bar with very good local wines. The food was also very good and the local cuisine, Maltese, was very delicious. In fact, they bring it from the famous Leligin restaurant (they are the same owners). We ordered the Maltese platter and The rabbit for dinner, and the various wine tasting. The waitress was lovely, we had a great night. To repeat and try more different wines and more tapas.
