Right in the heart of Wiesbaden you will find Lumen a wonderful restaurant and bar. We had a good meal at lunchtime two meals from the quick lunch menu which is a fixed price meal within a lunchtime slot and two meals from the regular menu. The service was very good and the food was super. The amenities were clean and there is plenty of seating both within and on the sunny terrace.

Nice food and nice employees. I didn’t like the truffle pasta so I wouldn’t recommend that. They did take it off my check which I really appreciate. The Snitzel and burger were really good. Definitely recommend this place!! We will be coming back :).

This is a great bar in the centre of weisbaden for a drink or food. Prices are not cheap but if is a rich part of Germany. Great patio and chilled out music to listen to.

I am in Germany, visiting my sister in Weisbaden, today we came to the city center, I had a lot of expectation because as we are Latin people, I generally did not know if this tourism was pleasant here. I must confess that they have treated me very successfully and kindly. We went to eat this beautiful restaurant. with my nephews who are very naughty and the customer service is excellent excellent excellent they helped us at all times and the restaurant is very cozy if menu is of dishes I definitely recommend 5 star cuisine typical Germany and Hungary with Mediterranean flavor fusion, Large portions and great a menu to eat around € 110 for 4 people very well.

Very well presented cafe, but quite pricey for even the basics “water”. Some of the staff I found quite nice but others rude, maybe just that one had a bad day . The atmosphere in head was nice be interesting in summer as outdoor aria looked interesting with old cable cars .

Our waitress was friendly. The food was prepared and delivered in a timely manner. I chose the risotto from the seasonal menu, the risotto was a little on the salty side for my taste (others may enjoy that). The mean was accompanied with a basket of bread.

The food was ok. Big portions, descent quality on the salads and pasta. The tomato soup was like from a can. The fresh basil leaf on top didn’t make up for the taste. The service was not good at all. We didn’t get menus, the empty plates were left on the table until we left, the waiter was not responsive.

Nice place with a cozy vibe and a great location. It’s ideal for brunch — the food is fresh, well-seasoned, and really tasty. Perfect for relaxing and enjoying quality time with friends or family.

I was invited to eat at this restaurant many times, so I am confident in saying that if you eat here, then you will be stuffed with amazing food. The highlights of this place are definitely the generous portion sizes. Whether it be french toast you desire or an omelette, you will receive what you want and THEN some! Everything was cooked to perfection, and I will sincerely miss the bold flavors of each meal I had, my most favorite one being the blueberry crepe with vanilla sauce. That crepe was the first one I ever had in my life, and it set the bar very high for future ones. Is the food good enough to sit and relax at the table though? Well...I would suggest to order takeaway, but then that would add on to the long wait time on top of the already long time you'd normally sit through if you just stayed put. Du & Ich is very popular, and with that popularity comes some downsides, including waiting over a half hour for one plate of food. It doesn't matter what you get, every time I attended this place, I have waited a significantly long time for my food. It can feel stressful, especially if you were like me and went out to eat with peers that you weren't so close with yet, so you're awkwardly playing on your phone listening to everyone else talk around you. This is even worse when you're a foreigner who doesn't speak German, so you can't even listen in on any hot gossip. Since I touched on the topic of speaking, I will say that the waiters I had spoke decent English. They were very kind to me, and didn't appear judgmental over me being a foreigner- as I had feared. So, I did feel bad when I got frustrated over the long wait. Their restaurant is usually packed with customers, so if you want a taste of their food without the anger of having to wait so long, best option is to occupy your time with some good friends, videos on your phone, or read a book. So again, is the food from Du & Ich good enough to sit and relax at their table? I'd say yes, but please bear with them as they are taking their time for a reason. They have lots of fans in their establishment, and I'm sure you'd become one too once you have a bite of their large, freshly-made dishes.

Very huge portion and fresh foods. Really recommend it. Every time that we pass by, there are lots of customers dinning in.

Conveniently located in the city center, they serve delicious breakfast with plenty of variety to choose from & the atmosphere is very lively

What an amazing delight. This beautiful restaurant embodies the best of what you’d love to see in a French boulangerie (French for bakery). The beautiful red curtains, white walls and blue ceiling representing the French flag colors are only one small part of their attention to detail. As you enter, what better way to be welcomed than a case full of colorful pastries? The menu offers anything from eggs and bacon, to delicious cheese plate to do much more. For those of you with weak will power, this is the only exception, because their pastries are insanely delicious. We ordered several pastries and couldn’t stop eating. Can’t say enough about this restaurant’s service and food. Thank you for providing a great experience.

Great place for breakfast with good coffee, croissants and desserts. It is better to book a table in advance, as it is a very popular place. Here you can also take away bread and delicious desserts. We booked a place on the outdoor terrace, but in the morning it was raining heavily and the waitress kindly seated us in the hall. I will also separately note an interesting interior, which is very unusual for Germany. Only the menu was a relative minus, it is not convenient for choosing dishes, it unfolds inconveniently, and dubbing in French makes it very difficult to understand what the dish is about, it would be better if it was in English.

Great for a rich breakfast. Everything is high quality (bread, cheese, ham etc’) and French style of course. The menu is a bit difficult to navigate. An online English version can be found by scanning a QR code. You can do fried eggs with a list of ingredients of your choice to feel in control. Good, positive atmosphere as well.

Right off the platz so lots of tourists coming here. I was able to find a little corner to hang out in but it was pretty loud in there. Had the tarte tatin and it was ok. Server was great though. And I enjoyed the cafe vibe.

I had an awesome “build your own” breakfast, with eggs, bacon, croissant, cheese and a big cappuccino for €14- Deliciously priced and amazing food. The square is very pretty with the cathedral on the background. Service was great. The one improvement is to add English to the menu.

It’s always disappointing to see such a beautiful café with amazing desserts but with such unprofessional staff. The staff was really rude and seemed unwilling to help us, which ruined the experience. A great place should have service that matches its quality.

This place made me really sad. I ordered shakshuka, which was good enough, but as I ate, I found a fairly big piece of egg shell in the food. I was so shocked that I just calmly showed the waiter the next time she came to the table. She took it back without saying anything and...in a while I got the SAME plate back (minus the egg shell) and a little piece of sweet as a form of saying sorry. Pictures are of the shakshuka in the beginning and after finding the egg shell. I didn't take a third picture, I was just waaay too astonished of the happenings.

The lunch menu is small but everything looked tasty. Highly recommend the potato soup. Has Würstchen cut up into it and chopped carrots. The desserts are gorgeous. The service was inconsistent; coming by too often or not often enough.

An absolutely fabulous place when you walk by. Cakes looked lovely. I decided to try. Ordered at the desk. Cake came directly. It was fine, but not special. Coffee still missed after 10’, I reminded them about it. After 25’ nothing happened. Staff runs disorganised. So I had a cake without coffee. Not recommended.

I had tried some coffee in Germany and I really don't enjoy it, this one was an almost 4, probably too dark roast for my taste but very well brew it, the kuchen was a 5/5 , very good, very recommended, all the pattiserie looks really appealing and tasty, if everything is like the kuchen, go for it, it'll be delicious. The decorations and ambient feeling is very nice.

We managed to get to cafe Blum during the Corona lock down and we were able to get cake to take away. Lemon meringue cake and apple crumble cake. Now I can say that I do know my apple cakes and this one was very good..the Base was a touch dry but the apple filling was perfect in the consistency and topped off with a lovely buttery crumble.. Perfect with a cup of tea....I bought some home made Pralin's which are waiting to be sampled...I look forward to that.

My review is based mainly on the desserts. I enjoyed a chocolate cake slice with a raspberry jello topping and a chocolate mousse santa. Both were very satisfying. Our servers were nice and quick to attend us. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the hot chocolate I ordered. It was luke warm and tasted more like coffee than a hot chocolate. But I like the way the location looks and all the desserts look wonderful too.

Highly recommended to fine sweet lovers since their pastries are genuinely wonderful and their macaroons never let us down. They also have very intriguing vegan options, and the staff is kind and quick to wrap the pastries so that they are in perfect condition when we reach home.

It's a nice place for breakfast. Nice ambience sitting outside in summers. You get delicious and fresh croissants (both sweet and regular with a variety of fillings). Coffee over there is just fine and the customer service is good.

This is my favorite bakery in Wiesbaden located very close to everything else. I love the service here and go near everyday during my last week in Germany. They speak some English so if that is a worry of yours fear not. Everyday I've got the tartlette au chocolat and a latte. Both hit the spot perfectly.

The coffee seems to be the best in town. And if you can handle a bossy waiter demanding you make an order while you struggle with a menu in German, you can go for pastry, muesli or fried eggs with cheese or the like. Good for coffee and breakfasts.

Great coffee with oat milk. 2 options for vegan (the vegan baguette or the vegan tartine). Would be nice of they can have or provide (bio kaiser) vegan pastries. Orange Juice could be freshly pressed. Slow service. They do not charge extra for alternative milk which is nice !

Food was excellent. Service was good. Arrived at about 8:30 AM and found it very odd that there were multiple tables reserved for hours later. Kind of put a damper on our mood.

The oldest left-wing caffee in Wiesbaden has been around for 40 years and is organized as a collective. Naturally all vegetarian and cash only. Smoking area for cigarettes only. Definitely, one of my favorite spots in Wiesbaden, not only for drinks also for food. Great atmosphere, super cozy place, nice terrace when the good weather allows it. I'm gonna miss this place once I move out!!

One of the worst vegan kebabs I've ever had. The seitan was old and dry. Sauce had no taste. Only the bread was ok. Definetely not worth 5 eur

Croissant taste nothing like croissant... Feels like eating those horrible croissants under plastic from supermarket... Streusel had no taste. The bread with cheese and bacon was just okay because of the cheese and bacon because the bread part was also failed. I didn't try anything else but I won't go back...

Sunday, April 7th 2025, around 15:00 h.: Walked in, and I wanted to take a look at the place, as it was my first time at this location of CF in Wiesbaden. (Though I've been a Coffee Fellows-regular throughout the years, in Mainz, Mannheim, Munich. Please find attached my current "Gutschein"-cards for free hot drinks at Coffee Fellows Mainz Central Station 🙂). Anyway, I was instructed to line up and order, and when I asked if I could take a look upstairs, she repeated the rules adding that upstairs it was empty. But I saw people sitting on the balcony ... 🤷🏻 I was carrying two bags (as it was an open shop Sunday in Wiesbaden), and maybe it would have been more convenient to leave my bags first somewhere, and then grab a coffee and buy a cake, as I only have two 🙌🏼? I was rather shocked with this treatment, that I just thanked and walked out of the place. If I'm writing this it's not to complain stubbornly, accuse anyone who's is trying to do his best at work, or prove that "I was right", but because I visit Coffee Fellows quite often, and I am overall quite satisfied with the service, that I only reckon it fair to take at least some minutes from my time to share with you my surprisingly unpleasant experience at one of your locations. 😔 (Maybe it's more clever to talk to a client, instead of telling him what she has to do?) So, I'm still on your side guys 👍🏼, but as I have so far experienced Coffee Fellows to be an open space concept, where one can move freely, I would like this policy to continue everywhere. Very disgusting place. There is an old asian lady working here, super rude and arrogant attitude. I think this is not the job for her, since she is unhappy here. She shouts at customers, act like this is her home. Clearly, it is not. Already complained to the Brand as well. Hope they do something for this.

Coffee and cup cakes were good. Person at the counter was rude and without placing an order didn’t allow to use the washroom. If we enter a restaurant, it is most likely that we will be placing an order. In the end, I did not use the washroom. Overall, it was a bad experience 😢

9:35 on April 23rd. Employee especially rude about two minutes after walking into the store. Told me I could not talk on my phone (was waiting for the people ahead of me to finish) as I sat. When I got up to order, I mentioned how unfriendly I felt she was and she proceeded to scold me. I retracted my order and left to go to a friendlier cafe. Who needs an environment like that ? She’s costing you customers.

My wife took 2 coffees for me and here I came later, the rude 'barwoman' insisted that here is coffee shop shouting to me to buy something, I told her that she had already took for me.we left we are never coming back and next time please even if someone comes don’t ask 5 euro cappuccino that has warm milk and not even done properly!!!

Even one star is too generous. I ordered a drink, but while two or three people who came after me received their drinks and left, mine never came out. When I asked how much longer it would take, the staff member rudely asked if I had even placed an order. I had ordered directly from that very staff member, but they had clearly forgotten my order. Still, there was no apology or acknowledgment . instead, another worker just tossed the coffee at me. When I asked if it was mine, they coldly replied, ‘Americano,’ and that was it. I’ve never experienced such terrible service. A few employees like this will drive customers away. I will never come back to this Starbucks again. On top of that, I even saw staff rubbing their eyes and touching their face and nose before making drinks. It was so unhygienic that I couldn’t bring myself to drink it. Absolutely unacceptable.

Normal coffee is what you always expect from Starbucks. 3 stars out 5 is enough as we say 3 is an average rating but I give 4 because I had one of my most important achievements in an Online meeting there. So memorable for me. Good placed 2 mins Walk from railway platform, enough mig and flask option to buy.

After spending hundreds of euros on Starbucks in the past few months, with the majority at this branch, now I feel like I’m running out of reasons to visit there. I visit there like 2-4 times a week! Today this happened: 1. The staff was handling my Focaccia Mozzarella-Tomate with the same plastic glove that he was handling meat with earlier, the glove even coming in direct contact with the meat. 2. I complained so supposedly he replaced it, but then the sandwich I was given looked like (the photo). That crack on the bread is evidence enough to show you how ‘stale’ and ‘hard’ that bread was. 3. The vegetarian and vegan items are regularly seen coming in direct contact with the meat stuff. NO-GO. I’m massively disappointed, furious even. Waste of money and psychological distress is what it is. The staff are a mixed bag. Some are nice and friendly. Others look at you like, “Why the eff did you walk in here?” But that kind of attitude is rather common in Germany, so not surprised. And the friendliness only seems to go as far as you don’t point out if something is wrong, e.g. the above scenarios. By the way, before you write your standard response with the Gaeste.Starbucks blah email address – I’ve already done that. I don’t think anyone cares.

Its not bad, ofc like in any starbucks you need to wait awhile but it is the same like any other place. I often order via Ubereats stuff but at times I come there to just to do some work done while enjoying a cold brew.

Probably my worst experience ever with Starbucks. Staff are totally unfriendly even if I greeted her first, she didn't even bother looking at me until I greeted her the second time. After I ordered the drinks she and her colleague still remained deadly silence with their quite obvious impatience shown on their face all time. They made me felt extremely stupid to not just go to a simple German backery, get a much cheaper and delicious coffee, instead of spending twice as much of the money to get this experience in the Starbucks.

Update in 2022 May. I think the girl whose name is Alex is back to this Starbucks shop. Again, super passive attitude. I noticed her because there is one girl who is again rude to me and rude to her colleagues. I looked at her name tag, and she is also an “Alex”, what an coincidence! Luckily I can also go to the other Starbucks shop in city to buy drinks. Dealing with her strange attitude and behaviour is too much. Very nice bakery with a large fresh selection. Stop in and have a coffee with bread or a breakfast sandwich. Staff is friendly and courteous. There is a line most of the time but it moves very quickly.

Lovely! Great bakery with the best rolls and a few places for your weekend breakfast/brunch if you are lucky enough. But the breads are to die for and really good and always fresh. The staff aren't too bad either. They also have a good variety of sweet things for those with a sweet tooth.

This is such a cute spot for a light breakfast, a snack, and a drink! It's comfortable and welcoming. I was also really impressed with their more extensive drink menu choices (coffee, tea, hot chocolate, etc.) Their hot chocolate is incredible! I also really liked the cookies and johannesbeeren streusel. The chicken bagel is great too, but the bread is super crunchy! The service is fantastic. It's cash only but that's not a big deal. The owner is really sweet and accommodating too. Will definitely be back for brunch and a drink!

I recently visited this bakery café, and overall, it was just okay—not somewhere I'd rush back to. The place itself had a cozy vibe, but unfortunately, the food didn’t quite live up to expectations. Payment: Cash and Cards. I tried a slice of cake, which looked promising but ended up being a letdown. It was dry and slightly burnt on the bottom, which really took away from the experience. The other food items I ordered weren’t much better—nothing stood out in terms of flavor or freshness. The staff was polite, and service was fine, but when it comes to a bakery café, the quality of the baked goods should be the highlight—and sadly, that wasn’t the case here. With a few improvements in the kitchen, this place could have potential. But as of now, it’s just an average spot that didn’t quite hit the mark.

As i enter the restaurant, i felt like if I disturbed them.they looked at me as i was a uninvited guest . One of them was eating on the Theke and was serving with her dirty hands .& and other fat cow needs to learn manners first .dnt know why these girls were that arrogant and proud . If they are really high educated and belongs to very rich families thn why are they working at all . Dnt know why this restaurant hire such kind of rude and misbehaving girls . Such girls dnt belongs to restaurant or this line .we luv Dunkin‘ Donuts bt such unprofessional and rude people does not belong to restaurant line. I visited this location and was served raw bacon when i ordered the egg cheese and bacon bagels. I understand that people make mistakes but how do you make the same mistake twice. I will never visit this location again! This is how people get sick! Piss poor standards. Whos to say what else you cut corners on.

This Dunkin Donuts is always great. The kids love the donuts, and the young people working there are consistently pleasant. The coffee is very strong.
