Art museum
Museums
Bündner Kunstmuseum, located in the oldest city in Switzerland, Chur, is a popular art museum housed in an elegant 19th-century villa and a modern annex. The museum stands out with its stunning architecture that combines classic and modern constructions. Visitors can explore local modern and contemporary art while immersing themselves in the rich heritage of Chur.
If you find yourself in Chur, Switzerland, I highly recommend the beautiful fine arts museum there. The minimalist concrete architecture is breathtaking inside. After enjoying the art, including several interesting mixed-media pieces, and appreciating the design of the floors, walls, and stairs, there's a wonderful cafe where you can sit, discuss the art, and soak up the ambiance. Highly recommend.

The old part is lovely renovated, sunny and charming. The new part (much bigger) is bit harder to enjoy, rather cold and empty. I wouldn't say it was "fun", rather tiring but interesting nevertheless.
Anna T — Google review
We arrived on the day this place was free for international museums day....I am so glad it was free otherwise I would have felt robbed. This was mostly The Emperors new cloths time. I love good modern art, but this was not good. Sorry I was looking forward to my visit
Andrew L — Google review
A beautiful museum with old and new architecture, villa La Planta built 1874-1875 and the modern extension built 2011. The Giacometti family's work is very present, amazing pieces a sight to art lovers. Not to be missed is La Planta café, simply beautiful
Mona B — Google review
The buildings already are fascinating to visit. Collection has a few surprises but might need a bit more excitement and adventure.
Olaf H — Google review
Stunning architecture and an impressive collection. Really the must-see in Chur. Especially enjoyed the opportunity to get to know some more Swiss artists. Note that the audio guides are free with informative contextual insights that actually enhance the experience (unlike so many art gallery audio guides!!)
Arend K — Google review
Amazing museum. A must visit place when you're in chur. The architecture is stunning with classic and modern constructions combined. There is also a Cafe in between the garden. The surroundings are usually pretty crowded (manor is nearby). The museum has such an amazing interior aswell as exterior architecture.
Jinod — Google review
I found the architectural features of the new building to be as fascinating as the exhibits. The stairways, foyer and room transitions are extraordinary, especially as you make the underground journey from the new building into the old building.

The Rätisches Museum, located in Chur, was established in the 19th century to showcase the diverse cultural and social elements that migrated into the city during that time. With over 100,000 exhibitions, this vibrant 4-story museum offers a historical collection of artifacts and antiques from the region of Graubunden. Visitors can explore temporary exhibits alongside permanent displays, including a family-friendly interactive experience with keys for children to unlock boxes with puzzles inside.
Utterly amazing collection of artifacts, for a small town. Over a span of 5 floors and a cellar, a link to any language tour. Well worth a visit, fascinating..
Suzanne B — Google review
The Ratisches Museum is a fantastic impression of Raetian history within Switzerland. Studying it, you can still do it within just over an hour. I took 1 hr 20. Its cellar has the ancient history & its artefacts & lighting make it very atmospheric. The audio guide is good - via a QR code. More English academic publication of regional history & archaeology would be helpful.
Andy M — Google review
5 floor museum very nicely done. Must visit if you like history. It has elevator also. Service desk is also very good.
Ravi A — Google review
Very interesting and well organized. Children are given keys to search and open boxes with some puzzles and etc in the museum.

Superb local museum with well structured exhibitions. Not too much, not too little information - few hours well spent. Good translation of pretty much everything to english. Highly recommended to get an overview of history of this region!
Elephant S — Google review
Sorry but this museum was underwhelming. It was free as part of the city tax you pay, the hotel will give you a card where you can enter the museum for free. But I really didn’t enjoy it, nothing interesting compared to all the other museums in the bigger cities.

Sadly we had only little time here but really nice, would love to revisit! Especially family track with a ring of keys makes is more tangible for kids.

Sights & Landmarks
Churches & Cathedrals
Saint Mary of the Assumption Cathedral is a serene and picturesque place of worship located in the walled upper city of Chur. The cathedral, though austere on the outside, boasts a peaceful and well-maintained interior with stunning stained glass windows and beautiful carvings. It is a must-see landmark in Chur, offering visitors a lovely stroll through the old town to reach its hilltop location.
Centuries old beautiful cathedral . Quiet place to sit and pray, open throughout the day . Adding holy eucharist timings for benefit of faithful who are visiting Chur
Rinu T — Google review
A rather cozy cathedral with a rich history dating back to the 12th–13th century, officially consecrated in 1272. It was built on the site of even older churches, with archaeological finds reaching all the way to the 5th century. The cathedral mixes Romanesque and Gothic styles, with its massive Romanesque west window being considered the largest medieval window in the Graubünden region. Inside, you’ll find a beautiful late-Gothic high altar carved by Jakob Russ in 1492. The tower was significantly rebuilt after a fire in 1811. An interesting fact: during the Reformation, the cathedral and the surrounding bishop’s court became a kind of Catholic island in the city—separated from the rest of Chur for almost three centuries.
Michael N — Google review
The starkness of the outside hides the richness of local history and the Catholic faith found within. A pilgrim stop site along the *Camino a San Santiago".
K D — Google review
Quite a beautiful Cathedral with some very interesting art. The one altar that is to the left just as you enter is amazing - it is dated to the 16th century but there is no attribution to any artist. The main altar, however, is the best piece of art and is magnificent.
Gerald Z — Google review
Beautiful little church in Chur with a serene atmosphere. If you're taking the glacier Express to Zermatt from Chur then keep some extra time in hand and stop by here. You will be glad you did!
Annindita R — Google review

The Bernina Express is a renowned panoramic train journey that takes passengers on a breathtaking ride through the Swiss Alps and into Italy. Departing from either Chur or St. Moritz in Switzerland, the historic red train climbs to impressive heights, offering unparalleled views of Italian and Swiss mountain ranges, glaciers, and picturesque landscapes. The route includes crossing 196 bridges, including the spiral viaduct of Brusio, and traversing the Bernina Pass to Engadin.
The most beautiful train ride I’ve been on! The train has really big windows so you get a better view of the landscape. We went from Chur to Tirano, it was about 4 and a half hours. The train goes at a relatively slow speed so you get to take in all the views. Definitely book your tickets and seats ahead of time.
Percy S — Google review
It was amazing experience for us. We went from St. Moritz to Tirano. The train has panorama windows and the driving is very comfortable and gentle. The views are breathtaking. I highly recommend everyone to try Bernina express.
Marjetka Š — Google review
Great experience. From chur to Tirano take the Right side for more view. Both sides are great but the major attributes can be appreciated at the right side (from Chir to Tirano). Something that I don't know was that they offer a gift (a mini carrier with chocolate hearts and a beverage tea).
Dr. C — Google review
Absolutely incredible! No words to describe the beauty of Alps throughout the journey from Chur to Tirano. This Bernina express is unique and definitely a must try lifetime experience.
Abdul B — Google review
This was the best train journey I’ve ever experienced. I went in first class but space and seats are probably the only difference between the two classes. The views are just stunning! You go over mountains, fields, glaciers I could just keep naming things. Around the end (if you are going from Tirano to St Moritz) you can get off at the highest point for pictures and a coffee. The staff are super friendly and always try to make your journey pleasant. This exhilarating ride takes about two and a half hours (if you again are going from Tirano to St Moritz). I highly recommend going on the right side as you get more amazing panoramic views though both sides are great. It is best if you book in advance although upgrades are sometimes available on the day. 5 stars.
Maria P — Google review
Beautiful experience! I traveled today in 1st class from Chur to Tirano — it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The landscapes were breathtaking, the train was clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere very peaceful. However, the Wi-Fi link didn’t work, and unfortunately the toilet in 1st class was out of order, which was a bit disappointing for such a premium journey. Other than that, everything was lovely — I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to enjoy one of the most scenic train rides in Europe.
Danijela B — Google review
We travel to Milan for our vacation, but noticed that there is such a cool train track, Bernina Express. So we decided to try booking the entire trip via Klook. This turned out to be the best decision we made in this trip. The mountainous and forest view along the train route is so beautiful, breathtaking and stunning. Please see the photos and vedios I uploaded. Don’t think too much, just book and go. There are many ways to do this, please look up more detail in Google or Youtube. Highly recommend to go. It’s a MUST in your life time.
Pichet P — Google review
One of the best trip we've ever made, a must for any couple despite it was far from our hotel (3 hiur to reach it) but it worth ever minute. On time, good value for money and refreshing. Not easy to book online, you should buy the ticket, then "separately" the seat !

Changing exhibitions every half a year. Currently, there is a squirrel exhibition showing squirrels from birth to full-grown. Perfect for rainy weather since everything is shown indoors. Our visit was amazing. Thank you 🌺
Jasmin — Google review
We visited the current exhibition about the squirel. It was interestingly displayed and explained. There are a lot of things for smaller kids to look at ( stiffed animals, pictures, videos, nests...) , touch (different furs, horns, skulls...) or for older booklet to solve tasks and quizzes. The text is only in German. But nowadays, it's easy to translate with Google. Upstairs is also more information about local insects, how the alps were created and downstairs about fish. 6 CHf entrance. Kids under 16 and people with Raiffaisen plus or Museum card for free.

Located about 1.5km west of the Old Town in a business-park area, Giger-Bar Kalchbühl is a unique venue owned by H.R. Giger, the renowned artist behind the designs for Alien and its sequels. The bar is an homage to his iconic creation, featuring sleek skeletal chairs, black decor, and eerie sculptures including a limbless female torso above the bar.
Great place to visit! I went for a coffee! Super friendly staff! Photos cannot show this atmosphere but I can assure you… you will love this place! Staff is very friendly and can tell you a little story about this place! They will be so nice and talk as well some photos of yourself!
Go O — Google review
Had a great time. Staff were very friendly and even gave us some great books to read about the history of the bar.
Sean T — Google review
The décor fell short of our expectations. In contrast, the Giger Bar in Gruyères, despite its smaller size, exuded a significantly more stylish ambiance.
Fernanda V — Google review
First things first: you can disregard the review that says you can only pay in cash. As of May 2025, you don’t have to worry about that at all. The rest of the reviews are basically spot on. There’s oddly incongruent pop music playing, though quieter than I expected based on other reviews. There’s a cute dog that barked when someone attempted to pet it. Etc. This bar is not associated with the Giger estate, which makes the experience less curated but also kind of fun. How surreal is it to see a neon glowing Red Bull statue behind the bar, or a dinosaur skeleton? Fun times, lovely staff, worth the trip out for me. But if you can only do one, better to go to the “official” (ie associated with the estate) bar in Gruyères.
John H — Google review
We came on a Tuesday afternoon and I felt bad we were the only ones there and we didn’t speak German. No worries, though. Great atmosphere and friendly service!
Bryan J — Google review
Bar designed with the help of Giger - the designer of the Alien creature and ships from the Alien film franchise. Bar isn’t open late - and in the middle of a industrial estate so you have to make a special trip for it. We were there and had the place to ourself mid morning.
Greg D — Google review
A must for H.R Giger fans. Great service and amazing decor. It's like walking into an art exhibition that turned into a pub. Make sure you try to find the H.R Giger's face and ask the staff about the history of this place.
Jacek — Google review
This is a strange experience. But not why you'd think. It's surrounded by extremely suburban environs, and because it's in a weird complex, it's hard to find. The address is 23, not 19 as Google originally reported. Inside, you'll get an authentic Geiger experience, with skeletal furniture. But the music and staff are at odds with the aesthetic. Country to pop music plays while you're having a normal drink experience. No word drinks or cocktails. Just everyday beer, wine, and alcohol. The theme falls short because of it. Also, the hours are extremely weird for a bar. It kind of feels like an art installation in a mall. Not sure why they close at 7...

Amazing place quite hard to get to. Very long walk. But worth it coz of the wow factor. Like qing qing grass land in taiwan. Since very few signages, i post quite a lot of pictures to guide future hikers. Take bus 2 to heckenweg. Walk up the route posted. Rmb to use only the trails mark by the white red paints on the tree trunks. Other routes slippery, so hard to climb even if short cut. Really steep in some places. Be warned. Be patient even if take more than 1.5hrs. Worthwhile. Also climbing down tedious. Hard on the knees.

Chur Bergbahnen (Brambrüesch) is an aerial cable car that operates year-round, offering a scenic ride from Chur city center to the slopes of Brambrüesch mountain. It's a popular destination for families, with a wide range of winter activities available. The resort is known for skiing and trekking, making it an ideal place to spend quality time with loved ones. Visitors can enjoy the breathtaking views of the city and Alps from the top of the mountain.
It opens late on Saturday evening so we went after 5pm. It was fairly quiet with only two other groups in the car. The Chur pass from your hotel gives 1/3 off the price of the return which is otherwise 25 per adult. Pitch black at the top and in the cable car on the way back which is a lot of fun but bring a torch! We booked into Bergbaiz for fondue which was also great.
Rob B — Google review
It was a great experience in summer. You can see the whole Chur and the surrounding mountains. the cable cars are in two sections. First one is a large car carrying many people. The 2nd part is a series of old small cars. The built quality and safety of these are bit questionable. But Switzerland is the pioneers of cable cars. So, they might know what they are doing better than us. Staff was very friendly. Tickets look bit expensive. Tickets can be bought from the counter. Or maybe you can use the Swiss pass. Again, everything in Switzerland is expensive. On the top of the mountain, you have a heavenly great view. It maybe bit difficult to find this place from the railway station as all the sign boards are in German. You may either take bus 10/11 or 12, or remember the German word "Brambrüesch" of this place and ask a local, or head towards the lower end of the cables which are visible from the city center.

Fabulous ride on 2 cars to the top. The day was warm and sunny so we were able to see far into the distance. Nice stroll at the top to take photos before our descent. Did notice had we been more active there are plenty of paths to hike further. And if you fancy mountain biking down we'll that's available too.

Nice view of Chur from high altitude. Mountain bikers like the cable car to get up the mountain. Be aware to take note when the last gondola is going back down. There are several small restaurants on top.

St. Martin’s Church in Chur is a striking Gothic landmark that dominates the city's skyline. Originally built in the 8th century to honor St. Martin, it was reconstructed in Gothic style after a fire in 1464. The church boasts three stunning stained glass windows by Augusto Giacometti depicting scenes from the Christmas story.
We don’t enter the church but still feel peaceful in there
許蓮馨 — Google review
The Martinskirche is one of the oldest churches in Chur and definitely worth a visit. From the outside, it’s rather simple — but that’s exactly where its charm lies. No flashy decorations, just honest Gothic architecture with a slender tower that stands out in the cityscape. The church dates back to the 8th century, though most of what you see today comes from the 15th century. Inside, you’ll find beautiful stained-glass windows, including some created by the famous Swiss artist Augusto Giacometti. Yep, part of that Giacometti family — the one that also gave us sculptor Alberto Giacometti. They often host concerts here too, and the acoustics are excellent. Just make sure your phone doesn’t start playing ABBA mid-performance — even Giacometti’s windows wouldn’t save you then. 😊

The Church of St. Martin in Chur is the largest late Gothic building in Graubünden and the largest Protestant Reformed church building in the canton. With its late Gothic bell tower, it is a landmark in the old town. It is dedicated to Martin of Tours. The interior is characteristically modest, but very pleasant. There is a lot of high-quality woodwork that adorns the church.

A wonderful evening!! We spent a night at Chur and pre booked at this restaurant. Our choice was also driven by the availability of vegetarian options. We opted for the local regional cuisine. The restaurant offers an option “Bundner Trilog” which provides a great opportunity to try 3 regional items - Maluns; Pizzocheri Neri; and Capuns. Alessia at the restaurant was outstanding. She advised us to opt for the Trilog. A great suggestion. Well worth the slightly increased price of CHF 35. The Rose wine complemented the food well. Overall, a fabulous experience!! Well worth the money. Great food, exceptional service, good wine and great outdoor ambience. Highly recommended, with booking ahead.

We had no reservation but staff were quick too locate us an outdoor table for two. My wife had the steak, I had the 'plate of vegetables', both were excellent. Service was also outstanding. All out dinning in Chur was great but this was the best.

We did not make reservations and arrived just as they were opening and were seated right away as a party of 9 (4 adults/5 kids). Local wine and the hazelnut/plum ice cream dessert were delicious!!! And the plating gorgeous! The service was good and meat was delicious however all three risotto were very salty for us. Unsure if it's because that's how risotto suppose to taste like but we could barely finish it. The fresh noodle was the best dish where the deer was cooked perfectly and everything tasted great. Unfortunately all the complimentary risotto with three mains were just too salty, so I left the place hungry....

An outstanding place, I have a Lebanese friend back home in the states that introduced me to Arabic meals so I like to try on my travels. This place was perfect for me, nice manageable menu, with dishes packed with flavors! Even the fries were delicious, they had a very nice season salt on them setting them apart. The shawarma was packed with well coated beef and the side sausage they provide made it difficult to chose so I kept switching back and forth. If you want to experience a traditional Arabic meal give this place a chance! I didn't get her name, she had long black braided hair, but she provided absolutely great service. So polite, friendly and easily helps with the menu.

Pretty courtyard with nice seats in the sun, but the cappuccino is the absolute worst. Milk was way to warm, no foam and I almost doubted if they had forgotten the coffee. Asked for sugar - they forgot. Asked for the bill, they forgot. Then asked again and they just made us wait another 15 minutes.. And it wasn’t even busy. Almost wanted to just get up and leave.

The museum is housed within the historic Chur Cathedral, a national monument of great significance with its Romanesque architecture and preserved Episcopal seat from the early Middle Ages.
Beautiful artefacts - some still being used in the cathedral. Fantastic panels in the basement - 16th century. 100% worth going down to look at.

(Translated by Google) To be honest, I did not expect to find such a wonderful museum in the small Kura. It is very young, opened in August 2020 and consists of two parts, this is a hall with unique religious objects, as well as a hall with frescoes from 1543 on the theme “Danse Macabre”. In the treasury you can see the insignia of a bishop (ceremonial sword, miter, silk papal shoes with gold embroidery), the Triumphal Cross (circa 13th century), it is still used during services on major religious holidays. I saw some similar items in the Basel treasury, but there is a large museum with a long history, and here it is very young. All the more honor and praise to him. And the frescoes are kept in the basement; they were painted on a half-timbered frame wall, which at one time was in the bishop's palace. These paintings are copies of drawings by Hans Holbein the Younger and one is a painting by Dürer, but they are executed on a large scale. Of course, time has not been kind to the paintings; their color has faded. But in the hall there is a monitor where you can examine the paintings in detail and compare them with the drawings from the book. The museum staff has a description of the exhibits in Ukrainian and Russian. Entrance is free for Ukrainian refugees. Visiting time - December 2022.

Hostel
Bogentrakt, formerly a jail closed to locals for two centuries, has been transformed into a modern and sustainable hostel by Marco. The hostel offers stylish accommodations and is ideal for remote workers. Guests appreciate the accommodating staff and the well-designed rooms that allow for comfortable stays. While some construction work is ongoing, the hostel's management ensures minimal disruption to guests' experiences.
We were warmly welcomed at this hostel! Easy check-in and very friendly staff. The way the building's history is used for the concept is reflected in every detail, and it's amazing! The room was impeccably clean and comfortable, and the view was fantastic! We were also able to leave our luggage after check-out so we could explore the city. We loved being in this prison :P
Marta R — Google review
Our family of 4 (2 kids- 8 & 7) had a wonderful 1 night stay. Our room had a bed for 2 and a set of bunks. We were in town to catch the Bernina Express and it was a wonderful location to do so. Check in and check out went smoothly. Our friends stayed here also and we stopped at Deness Express for some ice cream sandwiches after dinner and ate them together in the community area while watching the television and playing board games. Everything we needed was within walking distance, including places to eat and the train station. Although there was no AC, we were very comfortable and kept the windows open (late September). We did not have the correct outlet converter and the wonderful lady working the front counter allowed us to borrow one to charge our phones. The complimentary cappuccino was a wonderful surprise upon checkout, too. There is nothing fancy at all about this hotel and it is a minimalists dream come true, but it had everything we needed! The hostel has a very interesting background! Would definitely recommend staying here.

Great location great background story. The rooms and the general area is well designed and orgenized. I was looking for an airbnb with a story. And the fact that this was formally the "toughest jail in Switzerland" is awesome. Definitely got that hunted yet charming vibes that I was looking for but at the same time got an amazing experience and saw a cool place with a strong community connection. LOVED IT!

Love the place and the area! As you all know this was an old prison transfer to a hostel. Me and my sister stayed at the single room that has its own bathroom. Everything is nicely design, very functional, bright, quiet, fun to walk around and great to get to know the history of building. The room was also bigger than we thought with enough luggage space under the bed. Architects/ designers did a great job transforming the building! Hope it keep up for many great years to come!!! We love Chur and walked to the cable car was only 10 minutes (must do!!) Enjoy!!!

Probably the best hostel in Switzerland. An atmospheric and wonderfully renovated former prison; it has modern facilities and is wonderfully situated within the old town of Chur. It is clean and quiet and there is a good restaurant next to it. The hostel bedrooms have an ensuite toilet and each bed has a curtain for privacy. Friendly and helpful staff too.
JAMES P — Google review
A delightful hostel with many original features of the prison which was really interested. We stayed in a 2 bed room which was a bunk bed with a lovely shower en suite. The ladder to the top bunk was a little painful for my middle aged feet but it was comfortable to sleep in. Chur was lovely and the hostel was a highlight.

I had a fantastic stay at this Hostel! It’s in a great location and everyone was really helpful. I accidentally booked a shared dorm! but everyone was bubbly and all went really well! Love the fact that they give you a coffee in the morning if you take the sheets off your bed! Great community area with drinks in( you have to pay but it’s convenient if you fancy a drink) 🥃 It’s a really quirky Hostel and I definitely stay again! Very clean and love that there is an ensuite toilet in the room.

Big supermarket with a cheese store in store - really cool 😎👍🏻 we bought delicious truffle Raclette there among others. The Gorgonzola on the counter also looked very tasty 😋 The only downside here is to find the entrance to the parking garage here, it was not clearly marked as parking for Coop so I headed to another parking place which was 500m further along the street. Especially if you are not familiar with said area 🤷‍♀️

Activ Fitness Chur is a well-equipped gym that stands out for its clean and friendly environment. Unlike other gyms, it offers a peaceful atmosphere with helpful staff and a sense of community among members. While it may not have all the amenities of some other Activ Fitness centers, it provides ample parking space and maintains a pleasant studio for workouts. Although lacking spa facilities, the gym compensates with its welcoming ambiance and dedicated training center.
I rarely enjoy working out in the gym because of one of these reasons: either too loud (music everywhere), unclean exchange room, a lot of people make video recordings (with you in it), too full, or too many show off people. Here, none of that happens. 👍🏼 The staffs are very helpful 👍🏼 People are actually nod or smile to each other. It feels like a small welcome community 👍🏼 The exchange room/bathroom is clean 👍🏼 Good price, great tools (in good condition), full schedule for the classes 👍🏼 Quiet, no music in the hallway or exercise area 👍🏼 No break, they're open for 7 days 👍🏼 Hand sanitizer is still provided 👎 Maybe a better waiting room or seating area for those who are waiting for the next class but this is not a biggie.
Kartina M — Google review
The fitness is ok. The building is really starting to show its age, flaking paint, floor buckling due to moisture, showers not ventilated properly, meaning sometimes they are a bit smelly, and generally having problems with the heat in summer. The team is about the only authentic thing there. They are always friendly and helpful. However, in the last years, many things have been changed and enforced, and it is becoming more and more a "McFitness." It has a huge endurance section with bikes and steppers with maybe 1-2 people. But a tiny freeweight area which is always packed. Not enough weights for multiple people. Only 1 squatrack and a lot of old material, one guy even brought stuff with him from home and left it there so others could use his chains/belts to train because they have nothing. The quality of the great staff can't make up for the growing shortcomings of the location.

(Translated by Google) Unfortunately, it doesn't live up to expectations. This fitness center is category 2 (according to the list at the entrance). Therefore, my feedback is based on a comparison with other active fitness studios in Switzerland that I have visited. 1. At the entrance to the building there is minimal information about the studio (almost not visible). Luckily, there is a large billboard on the roof of the building. 2. there is no sauna (please correct me if I'm wrong) 3. Most leg press and glute training machines are not suitable for short people (150 - 160 cm). (I spoke to the coach, he came to the same conclusion) 4. Most of the small knee and fist holding bands no longer hold together (impossible to use) and need to be replaced. 5. The arrangement of equipment is chaotic in some areas, especially in the second room. People tend to concentrate and spend more time in this area, so this area should be provided with better flow. I was also in other sports halls in Chur. Should I compare this one with the others? I would continue my list, but I think it already gives good feedback.

Amateurs can pick mushrooms (But you definitely need to have experience/know how and what you can collect!) I highly recommend it for walks and travel. On civilian paths you don’t have to be afraid of ticks, much less bears. The main thing is to follow normal paths or white-red-white marks if you don’t want adventures to the fifth point.

Great trip, from Chur we go half way up with big cableway and second half with smaller. At mountains is beautiful nature and fresh air. Just one thing, too many roads for downhill bikers, the forest is full of them, normal walkin way's no more there. Almost impossible to go Down to Chur by foot.

Hiking, biking, tobogganing, skiing and snoboarding, mountain lakes, Alps Fona and Flaura, including ibex, everything is on offer. Train prices are fair, especially with the uffa annual subscription. I am looking forward to the planned renewal of the direct connection to Chur Brambrüesch. And until then, enjoy the nostalgic trip from Känzli Hoch nsch Brambrüesch. Everyone plays nice hits and even some cool Ballerman music, really great, definitely worth a visit. But unfortunately there is almost no hit music in the town hall, let alone Ballerman music. You can definitely save yourself these 35 CHF. There's a lot going on with Schlager in Chur :). (Original) Die Parade ist wirklich cool mit vielen schönen und sehr speziell gestaltete Party Wagen. Arcasbrunnen square in Chur is a paradise for anyone who loves snapping photos – just pick your angle and it’ll look postcard-perfect every time. The fountain itself, which gives the square its name, is one of the historic gems of this oldest city in Switzerland. Dating back to the 16th century, it was not only a water source for locals but also the social hotspot where gossip and city affairs were dealt with. Who knows, maybe someone took the first selfie here — just without a phone and with a bit more wine involved. :)
