Schloss Burg, a stunning medieval castle located in Solingen, is a must-visit destination for history enthusiasts and travelers alike. This remarkable site features an engaging museum that showcases the rich cultural heritage of both the castle itself and the surrounding Bergisches Land region. Visitors can marvel at an impressive armory filled with historical artifacts such as chainmail, shields, and swords dating back to the 11th through 13th centuries.
Really beautiful. Shame we were there during renovations but I’m sure it will be amazing when it reopens fully.

(Translated by Google) A very beautiful castle, well-maintained and renovated, and the modern presentation of the castle's history was very appealing, even to the children (7 years old). However, we missed seeing the suits of armor and the furnishings, etc., from that era. The museum in the tower will reopen at the turn of the year, and then we'll be able to gather even more wonderful impressions.

(Translated by Google) We were there during the craft market: it was very crowded and we had to park about 800 meters away, but we were aware of this and it was fine. The castle is well restored, but it has lost some of its enchanting charm. The craft market also had more atmosphere when it was mostly held indoors. Hopefully, the concept will be revised.

Bridge
Hiking area
Historical landmark
Located in the Wupper River valley east of Solingen, Germany, Müngstener Brücke is a historic steel railway bridge that was completed in 1897. Standing at a height of 107 meters above the valley floor, it offers picturesque views and features truss-arch construction. Despite being over 130 years old and having survived two world wars, the bridge still functions today. Visitors can enjoy the best viewpoint from below at a park that opened in 2006.
Müngstener Brücke is a remarkable sight and a true engineering marvel! As Germany’s highest railway bridge, it stands tall at 107 meters above the Wupper River, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding nature. The bridge is not just a historic structure but also a fantastic spot for photography and a peaceful day out. The park beneath the bridge is beautifully maintained, with plenty of walking trails, picnic areas, and spots to relax. The suspension ferry (Schwebefähre) is a fun and unique way to cross the river and adds to the overall experience. Whether you’re a fan of architecture, history, or nature, Müngstener Brücke has something for everyone. It’s a peaceful escape and a great place to unwind. Highly recommended if you’re in the area!
Viraj G — Google review
An amazing place to hike and clear your mind. My favourite loop is Schubert station to Schloss burg overlooking the Müngstener Brucke along the way and back to Müngstener Brucke and climb the steep hill to get back to starting point
Babu K — Google review
The nature is really beautiful, but climbing the bridge is not worth it. It isn’t an adrenaline experience at all and the price is just way too high for what you get. Really wouldn’t recommend giving 60-70 euros for it. It’s a shame - it is a cool view, but definitely not worth the money.
Teodora H — Google review
Amazing bridge and a very nice and well maintained park just under the bridge. A lot of hiking and biking trails nearby as well. A resturant is also there and the railway station is maybe a 15 minute walk, so the place is easily accessible. I would recommend easily 4-5 hours to explore the surrounding area. Definitely worth a visit.
Aabhas L — Google review
The Müngstener Bridge park is a great weekend destination, especially in summer. Some space to chill on the grass next to the river. A restaurant for you early pleasures and hiking path for days. You should check it out. Full recommendation. 👌🏽👌🏽

It's a wonderful 120 years old witness of steel framework bridge engineering - worth for a stop
Hajo S — Google review
If you go from Schloss Burg you will pass by the house with Vespa...after that cross the bridge on your left 'cause on the other side when you get to Müngstener brücke there is some sort of caffè bar...I saw it from the opposite side so I am not very sure what are the offering...if you like to have your walk and meet less people don't cross the bridge :). Next time I am going to check that caffè bar....

Beautiful viewpoint overlooking the water, the bridge, and there’s even a restaurant. There’s also a small ironworks on site that you can visit. Free to visit & park, would recommend! Great museum telling the story of the blade industry

Very interesting and unique collection of knives, swords, blades & other cutting tools, as well as silverware, clippers etc. from bronce age to present. A very nice activity to enjoy while in Wuppertal. The surrounding neighborhood is very beautiful, as well. Entrance is very affordable with discounts for families, students and large groups.

What a wonderful surprise. Kid friendly and more. My father wanted to come and I will go back with my son. If your near worth while if your far think about it. Ill never think about forks and knives the same way.
Christopher G — Google review
Small museum yet very knowledgeable about the sword-making from Solingen and even include a few collections from exotic swords. The best thing is that you get to practice how to swing a sword in their protected room.
Yani C — Google review
Very detailed and well exposed display of knives, blades and much more blacksmith works. Simon Bolivar's blade was very interesting to see among so many more crafts.
Michelle M — Google review
Quite big blade museum, which focuses most on...well...blades. Solingen has quite the history in blade manufacturing, be it swords or just simple knives. The collection is impressive and covers different eras from the past. The staff was really polite. Highly recommended!

Beautiful garden, somewhat secluded from the main roads. Very suitable for photo sessions and relaxation. The garden has opening hours and is closed in the evening. We visited this place after a trip to the nearby historic old town of Gräfrath.

Narender S — Google review
It’s such a peaceful and calm place perfect if you're looking for a relaxing walk surrounded by nature. 🌿 We noticed the park’s closing time was mentioned on the map, and we were a bit late, but luckily it was still open when we got there. So we went in and are so glad we did! One of the highlights for us was the sculptures around the park some were really cool, and others were quite funny! They added such a nice, playful touch to the whole experience. Itook some nice photos but unfortunately Googlephotos wouldn’t let me upload them here. I did manage to upload a few videos though hope they give you a feel of the place. All in all, it's a beautiful, green, and calm park. We had a lovely time and would definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area. 💚
Sabieh — Google review
Wonderful place to stroll around and take pictures of flowers and insects. Nice cacti and orchids in a greenhouse. Parking in the vicinity works well, but you need to walk a little. The entrance is free. Best recommendations!
Christina L — Google review
Very nice place with different kinds of flora. Very peaceful and beautiful.
Paul K — Google review
The garden is huge. You'll find different plants from different countries. Unfortunately some of them weren't blooming because we're out of season but the garden gets more beautiful during spring specially with tulips and Sakura tree over there. The entrance is free for everyone so there's no need to book any ticket. There are multiple seats if you want to rest for a bit and admire the views. If you're allergic to pollen, it would be better not to go. There's also a very friendly cat that you can play with.

Sengbachtalsperre, located in a secluded side valley of the Wupper near Schloss Burg, is an early-1900s river dam that offers a picturesque setting for outdoor enthusiasts. The dam, completed in 1904 and designed like a medieval castle with merlons and towers, is an engineering marvel built according to the Intze-Prinzip. Visitors can enjoy forest trails around the adjoining reservoir and capture photo-worthy views from the top of the structure.

It is fascinating to witness the extent of counterfeiting and plagiarism evident at the Museum Plagiarius e.V. Various everyday items, even those as ordinary as a plastic watering can or a bobby car, have been replicated without one's expectation. The museum's quality stands out for its size; though small, it captivates visitors for approximately 15 minutes with its intriguing displays. However, it should be noted that this attraction may not cater specifically to children and might swiftly conclude their tour.
Eye opening museum, not huge but very interesting. Unbelievable to see how many things are just duplicated. All copies seem to have in common that inferior material and finishing is applied at the expense of the original manufacturer. Go visit.

(Translated by Google) A small museum dedicated to counterfeiting. Two rooms house a variety of products, from toys and household appliances to motorcycles. Each exhibit is displayed in pairs – an original and a fake. Descriptions in German and English explain how the plagiarism was detected and its distribution stopped. Most are contemporary, but a display case of 19th-century colognes suggests that the museum could develop a narrative that extends far beyond the two rooms housing Plagiarius. There are many exhibits from China and Asia, but you can also see counterfeits from Europe, including Polish accents and a solid representation of German counterfeits. Tickets cost €4, and the staff is very helpful.

The Kunstmuseum Solingen gGmbH is a pleasant museum showcasing local artists and rotating exhibitions. On the upper floor, there are compelling displays of artwork persecuted by the Nazis, delving into the personal stories of the artists and their suffering under Nazi reprisals. Although not as crowded as larger museums in Cologne or Dusseldorf, this museum offers a unique opportunity to explore less popular but intriguing exhibits. It houses numerous historical and captivating artifacts worth visiting if you happen to be in the area.
This place is amazing trails everywhere people taking pictures with all theirs families brides and grooms I like it.

Nice museum. Some art from local artists and changing exhibitions. The upper floor has some great examples of art persecuted by the Nazis and goes into the stories of the artists and how they suffered at the hand of Nazi reprisals. Museum was not very busy when we were there and made for a nice 1-2 hours. Sure, you get bigger museums with more variety in Cologne or Dusseldorf, but this is a good chance to see something less popular.

(Translated by Google) "It's so nice to swim in the great current of the masses [...] It is also more digestible to submit to power - whoever has bowed to it, a little bit of the great power is transferred to him, and a small teacher or delicatessen seller has suddenly become a huge man overnight." (Kurt Tucholsky, "The Defense of the Fatherland", 1921) ------------------------------------------------------ In addition to a forum for young contemporary art and a collection from the city of Solingen, the Solingen Art Museum includes the Center for Persecuted Arts. This so-called discovery museum is exclusively dedicated to artists whose opportunities for development have been blocked, prevented and in some cases even destroyed by the cruel dictatorship of National Socialism up to the present day. In this context, I found the paintings by Oscar Zügel, Karl Schwesig, Anton Kerschbauer and Bruno Krauskopf to be particularly impressive. Some of these artists were sent to internment camps, while others were housed in several prisons. Works that could not be reconciled with the National Socialists' ideal of beauty, the so-called German art, were considered "degenerate art": Expressionism, Dadaism, New Objectivity, Surrealism, Cubism or Fauvism. In addition, all works by artists with a Jewish background were counted as so-called degenerate art. In the Center for Persecuted Arts, in addition to pictures, books, magazines and photographic documents bear witness to escape, persecution and despair. However, it also becomes clear how much hope can be expressed through art. The young art and the collection of the city of Solingen didn't really appeal to me. As far as the collection is concerned, I was missing a discernible common thread. On a Friday afternoon I was the only visitor in the entire art museum, which probably speaks for itself.

Ohligser Heide, also known as Ohligs Heath, is a vast 156-hectare nature reserve located west of Solingen. Accessible via the Rhein-Ruhr S-Bahn, this picturesque landscape features meadows, moors, ponds, marshes, and diverse forests including oak and birch. Wonderful place for walks especially at the time when heather blooms.

Historical landmark
Historischer Ortskern Gräfrath Altstadt, located in the district of Solingen, is a well-preserved medieval old town that offers a glimpse into the past. The charming streets surrounding the market square are lined with picturesque two or three-storey half-timbered houses dating back to the 16th to 18th centuries.
It seems the houses all keep old looking. Quite and beautiful place.

The Spanish restaurant had several tables available, but the staff just shook his head. Apparently, you have to make reservations, even during the week. Therefore, I can only comment on the visual impression of the town center. Very pretty, with small, winding alleys lined with half-timbered houses. Well-kept and decorative entrances and forecourts. Zoo
Zoos & Aquariums
The Green Zoo Wuppertal, also known as the Wuppertal Zoo, is a long-established zoo that dates back to 1881. It was initially a private collection of exotic animals before being acquired by the city of Wuppertal due to financial challenges faced by its original owner. Today, the zoo spans approximately 24 hectares and is home to nearly 5000 animals from around 500 species.
Wuppertal Zoo is a beautiful place with a wide range of animals, including big cats, elephants, and birds. The enclosures are well-maintained, and the zoo offers lovely views. However, it is important to note that the terrain is quite hilly, which can be challenging, especially on wet days when paths may become slippery. Visitors should wear comfortable shoes and be prepared for some uphill walking to fully enjoy the experience.
Ahmed G — Google review
The Wuppertaler Zoo offers a truly enjoyable experience for visitors of all ages, especially families with young children. Nestled in a beautifully green and lush landscape, the zoo is surrounded by dense vegetation that creates a peaceful, almost park-like atmosphere. The natural environment enhances the overall experience and makes for a pleasant day outdoors. The variety of animals is impressive, ranging from native European species to exotic creatures. While the zoo does boast a considerable selection, I did notice that some iconic African wildlife such as giraffes were missing, which might be a minor letdown for visitors hoping for a complete “safari” experience. Nevertheless, the animals that are present are housed in thoughtfully designed enclosures. Among the highlights: • The ape enclosure is particularly engaging, offering good visibility and space for the animals to display natural behaviors. • The elephant habitat is well-maintained and spacious, with a layout that allows for good viewing without disturbing the animals. • The penguin enclosure deserves a special mention for its well-crafted and immersive design, which simulates their natural environment effectively. Children are especially well catered for at Wuppertaler Zoo. The petting zoo, home to friendly goats and donkeys, is a delightful and interactive area for kids. There are also several playgrounds scattered throughout the zoo, which provide fun breaks between animal exhibits and allow younger visitors to burn off energy. There is an on-site restaurant, which offers a decent selection of meals and refreshments. The food is of good quality, but it is slightly on the expensive side, so budget-conscious visitors may wish to plan accordingly. Overall, the Wuppertaler Zoo provides a relaxing and enriching outing, especially for families. The combination of nature, education, and play makes it a destination well worth visiting.
Onur D — Google review
Great, natural-like grounds with large enclosures and plenty of retreat space for the animals. Due to the hillside location, there is a lot of going up and down, but you can rent wagons for small children. Many lovingly designed playgrounds are scattered throughout the area, so the little ones can let off steam in between. There is also plenty of shade from trees, including small wooded sections. The zoo restaurant offers a good compromise between your typical currywurst/fries and delicious, healthy dishes at a fair price.
Bartlomiej K — Google review
Dislikes : Quite unimpressed to have visited the zoo 1) Imagine an Orangutan covering itself under cloth, though it has so much free space to explore 2) Silver-back gorillas were kept in such a small enclosure. It stood up and kept looking at me, I felt a lot of guilt and stopped taking anymore pics of it. Felt some of them were sad / lonely. Few enclosures were empty. These are purely my perspective. Positives : Zoo was tidy and well maintained, no complaints. Lots of green space to walk around. There were some live music by elderly people, big respect. With a bit of walking, one can easily cover the entire Zoo within few hours. Penguin enclosure and bird aviary are a must go. The restaurant was equally good
Praveen K — Google review
Very nice zoo, nice setup and a lot of animals you don’t see in most other zoos. Kids up to 14 have free entrance, with tripper there is a nice discount. Going there with the Wuppertaler Schwebebahn makes it extra exciting.

I really enjoyed the layout of this place. I particularly enjoyed looking at the elephants and seals. The park is large so there is a lot of walking but well worth walking. There are plenty of places to sit and take rest. There are food and drinks available and enjoyed my lunch. Staff are friendly and approachable. I enjoyed visiting this gem just inside Wuppertal.

It was good, area was beautiful, green and full of trees, but the route inside the zoo had a lot of ups and downs, and with a stroller it was sometimes breathtaking. As we went to Cologn and Duisburg zoo as well, this one compared to other two seemed smaller with fewer animal species.

The Neanderthal Museum, situated on the outskirts of Dusseldorf, offers an engaging journey through four million years of human evolution. Visitors can explore lifelike human sculptures and interactive audiovisual presentations that vividly depict the story of humankind from its origins to the present day. The museum is located in the Neandertal valley, where the first Neanderthal was discovered over 160 years ago.
We had really great time here with kids. The museum is good bus access from train station. In the museum we will receive a headset, you can hear very detailed information in each items. You need extra few euros to visit the tower, its few minutes walking distance from the museum building, it’s worth to visit too. Play ground for kids also a high light! We spent 5-6 hours in total there! Worth to come again :)

Nice walk outside,at the cansl and woods, natural and not too overtrimmed. Bit left wild as huge area connect to the Neanderthal valley.. Recommend

The museum is a hidden gem, specially for expats like me or tourists from abroad, as it has plenty of text and audio in English (unfortunately not that common in Germany). The reconstructions are incredible and are definitely the highlight! But the museum actually offers very good content, with detail in the scientific disciplines involved and including important civic takeaways. It is also quite interesting for families, since the permanent exhibition includes a lot of interactive elements and an audio guide with voice acting for immersion.

Bowls are not good at all the salad was not fresh. I have ordered to go. The Champignons tasted like burger meat, like they don't clean properly when cooking. This way you have meat rests when you eat a vegetarian plate. Costs: too much for what the offer. 17 euros for such a bowl is too much expensive for the quality they offer.

Fellow Americans, this is a great place to visit when you’re in town. They were very accommodating with menus in English. We had burgers which they had a variety to choose from with a side of fries or sweet potatoes. Burgers were good and their sauces were too. They also have vegan options which is great for those of you who opt from meat. There was more than enough seating which can be hard to find sometimes in the city. We were able to pay with a credit card which was also great! We’d go here again.

Nestled in the heart of Wuppertal, Wagner am Mäuerchen is a delightful spot that invites you to indulge in hearty German cuisine. The restaurant exudes a cozy, traditional gasthaus vibe, making it an ideal place for both locals and travelers seeking comfort food. Guests can savor classic dishes like crispy Eisbein paired with tangy sauerkraut or enjoy a variety of European delicacies from their diverse menu.
Absolutely delicious food in a restaurant that also looks the part. They have one English menu but you know somewhere is good if its full of locals. Really friendly staff and the food came up quickly. Loads to choose from on the menu. We wanted traditional German and thats what we got. Only downside is the salad could have been fresher. Great location close to the river but not too busy.

Packed on a Wednesday evening. Book if you want to be sure to get a table. Food: it‘s regional plus a few international alternatives like burgers. The knuckle of pork is soft and boiled, not crispy like in south Germany and that is the way it should be here. The side salads are part fresh and part from a jar like the beans. Again, typical for the area. Saute potatoes are cooked in oil and butter, not deep fried like McDonald chips. Please understand that this is regional food how it‘s been done for decades and not an attempt at Michelin classed meals. Always been happy there on various trips enjoying the food I grew up with. If you are from a different country and expect the food to be like where you come from, don‘t go there. If you want to try local food and are open to different tastes it‘s a good place to go.

This is the best place for traditional German cuisine. It’s also great they take credit cards as we found out some shops and restaurants only take cash. We had a feast eating schnitzel with mushrooms and our appetizer was delicious. Decent selection of beer along with a couple of local brews. They mostly speak German but they did have a waitress who understood English and even better was their menu in English! They told us they usually have reservations and are fully booked but we were lucky to get a table that night. Such a great dinner! It felt like home if you grew up in a German household as I did. We’d go here again.

One of the better restaurants in Wuppertal. Has quite some traditional German meals that taste great. Service and prices are good, but it is relatively hard to get a table for dinner, so reservations are needed. It's a cosy place and looks quite original. Recommended for a visit. I visited the Wuppertal Botanical Garden on June 19, 2025, during the heart of summer, and it was a truly beautiful experience. The garden is spacious and well-maintained, offering plenty of room to walk, explore, or simply relax amidst nature. Whether you're a plant enthusiast or just looking for a peaceful retreat, this place is perfect. What stood out most to me was the variety of plant species and the serene atmosphere. Despite its size, the garden is easy to navigate and offers a good balance between open lawns and shaded paths. I spent several hours there, staying until the evening, and the changing light made the landscape even more charming. Since I visited on a weekday, the crowd was minimal, which made the experience even more enjoyable. It felt like having a quiet, green escape right in the middle of the city. Solingen Bird and Animal Park is a compact family attraction that houses a variety of exotic and native animal species, including parrots and barbary apes. It offers a great day out for both kids and parents, with friendly staff, an abundance of owls, ample parking space outside, and a large playground. The prices for toys are fair, and the children didn't want to leave. The chips (Pommes) served at the park are deliciously crispy.

Good for toddlers and preschoolers. Maybe an hour to go round looking at animals, small playground and cafe serving basics including ice cream. Terrible directions though. Only got here as we were following local people who had to ask directions as well. Seems like signs are not to be trusted. Half an hour walk from the train station.

Really enjoyed this little zoo. Had kangaroos, a variety of birds, fox, bobcat and other animals. You can also buy a bag of animal food to feed the numerous goats there. There is also a playground for younger kids to play. It isn't too expensive way to pass a couple of hours away here.

Small, but cosy. Get your combined ticket from Groupon. 8 euros with kids, coffee, french fries and animal food to feed birds included

I'm not fond of the zoo concept, but it is a fine place to take a young child for an afternoon. The petting part of petting zoo is quite interesting, since visitors can actually enter one of the enclosures and have closer contact with the goats.

Bergische Museumsbahnen e.V. in Wuppertal is a charming heritage tramway located in Kohlfurth, just a few kilometers south of Elberfeld. Operating on Saturdays year-round and Sundays during the summer, this tram museum offers visitors the chance to ride on one of the world's shortest tram networks, covering 3.2 kilometers with six stops and a 150-meter elevation difference. The museum also features original tram cars and a workshop for enthusiasts to explore.
Fantastic. Great to ride on the old tram, and also to see the work going on to restore others. Loads of books and magazines as well.

Absolutely loved my visit to Bergische Museumsbahnen e.V. while in Germany! The vintage trams were amazing—restored beautifully and full of history. The volunteers and staff were super friendly and clearly passionate about what they do. The ride through the green, hilly landscape was peaceful and scenic—felt like a step back in time. Also, the little hall with the old Wuppertal streetcars was really cool. So glad I made the trip—definitely worth it if you’re anywhere near Wuppertal.
Orlando N — Google review
It's like a parking space for Old trams. Would have been nicer if there are information posted about the trams. We went on a Saturday so not sure if it will look better if we went on Sunday instead where as per website we should be able to ride a tram. It's a long travel from Wuppertal hbf.
Charis V — Google review
Travelled for 2 hours on a Saturday morning, when the website said it would be open, to find it shut. The two old people who opened the outside gate couldn't tell me why it is shut but they said it's shut. Not good enough.

(Translated by Google) This extraordinary, somewhat hidden museum deserves full marks. It is run with a lot of passion by the Günther couple. Even if you are not a fan of old films, it is definitely worth spending one and a half to two and a half hours with the material. Look at my pictures, I was transported back to the time when the pictures learned to walk. Wolfgang Günther, who seems somewhat stubborn, knows something about what he is doing. He is a grand master of matter. His friends call him Grandsheik, which is what we mean: he has a clue. The Wuppertal Schwebebahn is an iconic feature of the city, operating since 1901 and considered one of the most remarkable transport systems globally. This suspension railway winds its way through Wuppertal, about 12 meters above the streets and the Wupper River. With 20 stations, it offers a unique way to explore the city and enjoy scenic views.
As an "attraction" is simply out of this world and I believe the only one of its kind in Europe. As a transportation system is an awesome experience and it is super efficient and connects the city from west to east, you can combine it with buses to shorten the time you'd use if you do the whole trip by bus only.
Edgard G — Google review
Riding the Wuppertal Schwebebahn 🚟 was an unforgettable experience. We rode the same Schwebebahn # 20 😁 back and forth. It has 20 stops and 30 minute-ride. We started from Vohwinkel to Oberbarmen Bf and vice versa. It's not just public transport - it's a piece of living history! Such and amazing engineering 🇩🇪 Opened in 1901, the Schwebebahn is the oldest electric suspended monorail in the world and the longest. It still runs daily through the heart of Wuppertal with impressive efficiency. The route stretches about 13.3 kilometres, gliding above the Wupper River and city streets, offering unique views of urban life from above. The ride is smooth, quiet, and surprisingly fast - perfect for sightseeing or commuting. One of the most famous stories is the time an elephant named Tuffi jumped out of the train in 1950 during a publicity stunt - a quirky moment that's now part of local legend. The Schwebebahn has also survived bombings during WWII and underwent major renovations to preserve its legacy while upgrading its technology. It's a perfect blend of engineering, heritage, and everyday life and riding it feels like stepping into a moving museum. Tip 💡 Sit at the back to have a perfect 👌🏻 view 😉

I recently visited my Germanese friend who lives in Dortmund and even he still hadn’t been and visited the famous suspension railway in Wuppertal. He’d been living back in Germany 10 years and even as a child growing up in Kassel, hadn’t been and seen it. We decided to go on an afternoon visit and we weren’t disappointed. We traveled along the entire length of the railway, stopped off for coffee and cake at a great little bakery, built into the base of the final stop and then traveled back. I would highly recommend this to anybody who is visiting Germany and is local enough to visit the town whilst there.

(Translated by Google) Exciting place for anyone interested in culture and art. Many art studios and also small art galleries. We were here for the exhibition "The Art of Watercolor" by the German Watercolor Society. Definitely very worthwhile - an oasis of culture in the urban jungle.

(Translated by Google) A place where there are studios of local artists, converted from a railway station. You can visit them, there is a gallery part. (Original) Miejsce w którym znajdują się pracownie lokalnych artystów, przerobione z dworca kolejowego. Można je odwiedzić, jest cześć galeryjna.

(Translated by Google) The stars don't quite match the rating, but I'd like to leave it that way. It's a beautiful place, artists who live there are the source of the relaxed feeling of dealing with art and crafts. In my opinion, the local restaurants and the adjacent Portuguese restaurant are not sufficient. Something is missing here... Maybe more for children. A climbing course perhaps... The hose between the goods halls and the railway are not used and are not very inviting to picnic and linger there. Nevertheless, a visit is recommended because a gem has been created here and culture is lived here. Very nice.

The Theater KammerSPIELCHEN Solingen is a small but charming chamber theater that offers an intimate and immersive experience for its limited number of spectators. The cozy atmosphere and friendly operators create a pleasant family-like environment. Located in picturesque Solingen Grafrath, the theater provides a great range of restaurants and a wonderful flair. It often features renowned actors from television and films, adding to the allure of the performances.

(Translated by Google) Currently closed due to Corona. Hopefully it won't stay that way for long. The chamber play is really recommended. Due to the limited number of spectators, you are directly in the action and up close. The performances we have attended so far have all been great. Whether on special occasions like New Year's Eve or just because, it's suitable for anyone who likes to laugh.
