Mirador de la Guardiola offers stunning panoramic views of the Ebro Delta and, on clear days, even as far as Peniscola. This viewpoint is located near the center of La Rapita and provides a great vantage point to observe the entire delta. The area has historical significance dating back to the 11th century when it was home to a monastic community. Over time, various projects have transformed the village's appearance, including fortifications, squares, churches, and fountains.
Lovely view. It will feature soon in one of our videos. Find us on YouTube. FindingXanaduOfficial

Nice view of Rápita and the delta del ebre. From the parking it’s a short 8 minute walk to the top. Wouldn’t recommend going out of your way to go here, nothing too special.
Allison G — Google review
It's a nice view point, the view is excellent but when we visited there was also a lot of construction noise and also too much litter and graffiti everywhere. It's nice but could be so much nicer. The view is superb however.
Emma H — Google review
Nice view from here , yes there is a some graffiti, but you must remember why there is so much graffiti across Spain -Franco. There was a bit of rubbish next to the monument but apart from that is worth a visit You can see the mussel farms in the bay and harbour.

(Translated by Google) THE RAPID MIRADOR DE LA GUARDIOLA OR LA TORRETTA. About 110 m high, you can see the town, the Alfacs bay, the Alfacs and Salines, a bit of the Trabucador and the southern part of the Delta with the Encanyissada. To go up by car you have to go from the north, since from the south before arriving there is a prohibited direction. Some visitors water and the smell betrays it. 75 years ago I climbed it with the help of my aunt Lolita Massot, undoubtedly the best teacher that Ràpita has had. Then the booms sounded, probably to build a breakwater. Alguns visitants, reguen i ho delata l olor.

Amazing views! Worth the hiking that is level intermediate 😅 If you’re reaching the mountain’s base by motorcycle, skip the new parking by passing the gate on the side and stop closer to the trail start 😉

Nature & Parks
Platja El Garbí is an immaculate shoreline with a shallow ocean ideal for swimming. To reach substantial depth, one must walk a considerable distance, ensuring safety for non-swimmers. During the summer season, the sea becomes excessively warm for a refreshing plunge but remains suitable for families as the water remains shallow around 35 meters from shore before gradually deepening to chest height. The beach attracts crowds in July and August but offers tranquility throughout the rest of the year.
Beautiful beach and nice park with good facilities around. The sea is not too deep with a very gentle slope, so quite safe for young children.
Vincent B — Google review
Very clean beach with very shallow sea for swimming. Need to walk out a long way to get any depth, so very safe for non-swimmers. Sea very warm in summer, too warm for a refreshing dip! Busy July/ August; rest of the year very tranquil.

Beautiful beach for families as the water is shallow for about 35mtrs out, then drops to chest height I'm 6ft so nice to swim in as very warm water. Go check it out 😎😎

(Translated by Google) It's not a very large beach, but it's not crowded either. It's quite quiet, with a lively, family-friendly atmosphere, surrounded by palm trees and beach bars, and the water isn't very deep. The only downside is that seaweed tends to accumulate on some parts of the shore, but it's not a nuisance when swimming. Highly recommended, one of the best beaches in La Rápita.

Beautiful beach for sunset!!!!! Watch from the bay side for a beautiful view of the sun setting behind the mountain. Bring a blanket and picnic, or there’s a small bar in the summer. Parking was abundant and free. It’s probably lovely in the day too with options to be at the bay or sea.

Arte-Contemporary is a unique and special place that offers a combination of art and nature. The owners, who are experienced dealers and collectors, have been supporting artists for over 30 years by providing them with hospitality, resources, and space to create. Visitors can explore stunning sculptures amidst the beautiful surroundings of olive trees and cacti. The gallery not only displays diverse works of art but also allows guests to immerse themselves in the calming experience of nature.
Such a wonderful experience, we were nicely greeted into an outdoor artful space, beautifully curated in an olive farm, the sun came out so the surrounding landscape shone bright making the experience even nicer. The indoor gallery has a very interesting collection too. The pieces are unique and varied from artists around the world. We had the tapas, it all was homemade and delicious. We bought the olive oil from the local harvest to take home highly recommend this place!

We had a wonderful visit here for lunch and gallery viewing on a recent weekend. Our group of 6 reserved a table for lunch that includes the ticket to enter the gallery and large, ambling sculpture garden. I didn't have time for the sculpture garden but I'll be back for that. The two-course lunch was truly amazing. A perfect selection of tapas to start, which were all incredibly fresh and unique. This was followed by a combination of larger entree type dishes which were equally wonderful. Everyone at the table (American, Scottish, Irish and German) were raving about the food. The large gallery was also wonderful. It was so refreshing to see contemporary art from all over Europe and even Africa and other countries in the provincial Rápita. I hope more people learn about it and support this business. It's owned and operated by a couple so it's better to make reservations if you plan to eat.

What an amazing, magical place filled with interesting works of art! Very friendly staff, both in Spanish and English. We were there on a beautiful sunny day, so it was a pleasure to view the art in a wonderful setting of olive trees. On top of that, I highly recommend buying the "Arte y tapas" ticket. because after the tour you will have the opportunity to sit in this beautiful place and taste tapas from the house kitchen! We will definitely be coming back there and recommending this museum to all our friends!
Joanna B — Google review
We had a lovely and interesting visit here. Interesting exhibits and delicious tapas under the olive trees. Had a chat to the owner and receptionist who were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Highly recommended and do the tapas package because it was fantastic and cooked with love ❤️
Becca M — Google review
We loved our visit to Museo de Arte Contemporáneo. Beautiful sculptures and artworks, with changing collections in the gallery (the new exhibition from a local artist, made entirely from rubbish found on local beaches was particularly poignant) and their personal collection is wonderful. The setting is lovely, so nice to hold a lot of the exhibition in this lovely scenery. We enjoyed meeting the extremely friendly and helpful owners and staff. And! Delicious food! We thoroughly recommend choosing the extremely reasonable €12.50pp option, giving 2 tapas, a drink, bread and salad. Everything was delicious, a lot from their own garden/hens and a fantastic array of options for vegetarians and vegans-thank you! So hard to find in Spain. It is also dog friendly 🦮🦮 Can't recommend enough! Go and visit! Thank you 🙏 we will be back again soon 💯

I’d seen the reviews but really hadn’t expected it to be as interesting as it turned out to be. There were many many installations and an indoor gallery area too. There are some highly reputable artists work here with the option to purchase should you wish, though that’s entirely optional. It’s clear the focus is on making fabulous pieces from many European countries available to all. €6 /person was great value. To little to be honest. For a relatively new project they are already established like the professionals they are. 45 minutes from ALCOSSEBRE, we spent about 2 hours there. Every turn in the gardens were a joy. Can highly recommend this to all. There has to be something to interest all. The hosts are amazing too.
Helena R — Google review
Fantastic gem of a place in the foothills of Montsia. Wonderful selection of modern art displayed around the olive groves and in the gallery. Fabulous lunch under the trees.
Gaenor M — Google review
Amazing collection of art in the garden. A lot larger than we first expected. The inside gallery is very affordable and has some truly unique pieces. The owner is so friendly and welcoming, offering and drink and taking a lot of time talking to us about her park. We came with small children, and they also appreciated the hidden artworks in trees etc. The nine year old went back and forth into the gallery at least four times, because she wanted to see it all.

The next room is old documents and at the end there is a projection (which we couldn't see as we went with very young children). The attention of the girl at the reception seemed very poor to me. He could have explained to us what the museum agreed to, that we had to go upstairs to see the exhibition. When we asked him where we had to go he told us wherever we wanted and we ended up walking around the bathrooms thinking that there would be something there. They could have offered us the audio or explained how it worked since you don't find information about what you see, only the name. (Translated by Google) A museum with a very large and beautiful building but very little content. Friendly staff gave us directions. Downstairs, there are only temporary exhibitions unrelated to the sea. The best part is the documentary about the fishing trip. A large collection of shells. Little material related to fishing or the salt flats. Not a single marine engine, even though the last Larran marine engines were built there. They have enough history to fill the museum, but it's very empty. They could still fit a few more boats in the courtyard. I saw in some reviews that people complained that it was only in Catalan. I saw almost all the signs, panels, and banners in Catalan, Spanish, and English. Catalan is perfectly understandable, at least for a Galician 😄😄. Maybe what's missing is the desire to understand it.

(Translated by Google) It is very original and perfect for children but unfortunately people are uncivil and do not take care of public spaces. So it can be sloppy and littered. a pity (Original) Es molt original i perfecte per als nens pero per desgracia la gent es incívica i no cuida els espais públics.
