Nature & Parks
Cumbernauld House Park, located in Cumbernauld Village, is a vast recreational space with mature trees, walking paths, and abundant wildlife. The park holds historical significance as it was once the base of the pre-medieval Cumbernauld House and Cumbernauld Castle. It also served as a hunting ground for King James IV.
This area is also known as Cumbernauld Fields. Huge bit of grass perfect for picnics and kids to run about. Great for sledging in the snow as well. If you just fancy chilling, you can just throw down a blanket and relax. Plenty of parking in the streets around it. Nice area for walking your dog too. Just remember to pick up after them so kids and families can make the most of the area 😊
Alex S — Google review
Large area of open grass that sits between housing scheme and Cumbernauld Glen (river and walking trails). Path around outside of grass is tarmac but is rough in places where tree roots are breaking it or pushing it up. Fabulous views of hills beyond, odd benches placed around grass area looking in House direction. Some grass is boggy but when we went there were a few people enjoying walking their dogs around the grass. There is also a car park near by at start of Glen/House walks that is sign posted but has holes/puddles in it. The only real negative point is that the information boards about the house, walking trails and area around the Glen and House walks have been vandalised so hard to read
T — Google review
Lovely area to go to for a walk. My only criticism is the litter left behind by some ignorant people. It would be nice to ha e people picking up after themselves.

Nicci M — Google review
Usually a lovely place where we walk our dogs along with many others but right now with the hot weather and some of the virus restrictions lifted it is a mess with some people not taking their rubbish home with them. The pictures do not show the full extent of the littering.
Gillian H — Google review
Our dogs LOVE this place! It's a massive open area for the dogs to run around in. But it also has a Glen walkway too for those that want to stay away from the open areas and walk. It's normally never busy but you will see everyone from elderly couples walking to dog walkers to families with kids. Highly recommend!
Melissa M — Google review

Park
Palacerigg Country Park is a 300-hectare natural haven with nature trails, a tree-top walkway, and a zoo. Although there are no longer animals or farm sections due to council cuts, the park still offers free entry and parking. Visitors can enjoy woodland trails where they may spot roe deer, owls, foxes, buzzards, kestrels, and herons.
Phenomenal venue. Large forest section. Trails for walking or adventurous kids friendly walks. Paved paths for biggies and wheelchair ♿️ Dog friendly 🐾 Toilets at the visitors centre Cafe Large outdoor forest kids play area Second play area Badger trail loops around a small body of water Large car park - free Only bins are in the car park Huge lake on the grounds. Golf course on the grounds with golf centre

Palacerigg Country Park is an absolute lovely for anyone who loves the outdoors and a touch of adventure. From the moment you step onto its woodland trails, you’re surrounded by the peaceful sounds of nature — birdsong, rustling leaves, and the occasional sighting of a roe deer darting through the trees. The park’s nature trails are well maintained and perfect for long walks or gentle hikes, winding through stunning woodlands and the impressive Glencryan Gorge. One of the highlights is definitely the treetop walkway, offering a fresh perspective of the park from above and a great spot for birdwatching. The area is teeming with local wildlife — bats, dragonflies, owls, and more — making it a paradise for nature enthusiasts and photographers alike. What I love most about Palacerigg is its variety — it’s the kind of place that caters to everyone. If you’re after something active, there are great routes for mountain biking and longer hiking circuits that test your stamina while rewarding you with breathtaking views. Families can enjoy the open spaces for picnics or BBQs, while the visitor centre provides a fascinating look into the park’s wildlife and history. Whether you’re out for a relaxing stroll, a scenic bike ride, or simply to reconnect with nature, Palacerigg Country Park delivers a perfect balance of adventure and tranquility. It’s a place that truly makes you appreciate the beauty of Scotland’s great outdoors.
Martin R — Google review
Visiting as a couple, for a dog walk, we found this country park to be a little disappointing. No way to walk around the lovely loch. Much of the grounds we explored is a golf course so you must be vigilant of flying golf balls. The petting zoo is long gone and it's abandoned remains are quite sad looking. I can see more attraction for those with kids at the playground or those into golf. Maybe we need to explore more to get the best of it but we aren't drawn to rush back. The parking on the day we went was an absolute disaster but overall for us it was a nice afternoon out.
Lou D — Google review
Some cute wee trails in a forest. Good walks and they have a parkrun here now too. Downside is that it feels quite eerie. The animals are not there anymore and there’s not much to see up there now. A rat ran past my car too.
Catriona A — Google review
Great place to walk the dog and take the kids, 2 play parks and a nice cafe.
Margaret F — Google review
Kids really enjoyed exploring the park and quite a few things to do there. The adventure park had no bins at all so if you're planning a picnic best to eat at the smaller park near the visitors centre and toilets (both of which were closed when we went which I wasnt sure was a permanent closure or not) We had thought there was some farm animals there from looking at google before we went but they were either no longer there or in an obscure part of the park that we missed.
Danielle H — Google review
Visited family staying at accommodation just over from this lovely area. The grandkids really enjoyed letting off steam and getting close to nature at the same time. Beautiful 🥰
DAWN C — Google review
There is no longer a petting zoo. Palacerigg has seen better days but it is a beautiful place to spend your time. Paths are easy to navigate even with a buggy (some stairs on the Badger trail) and the variety of terrain is interesting. Benches at scenic viewpoints. You could easily visit multiple times without walking the same area of the park.

The venue offers a lovely cinema experience, although some visitors have experienced disturbances from other patrons during screenings. Despite this, the theater provides a great setup with comfortable seating and ample parking. It also features a nice bar area and hosts various acts and shows that are worth attending.
For an act that only got together 6 months ago, they were fantastic! Sing a song a tribute to the Carpenters, were stunning. A full house were thoroughly entertained with classic songs of the period by quality musicians. Thank you so much for your talented performance. ❤️

Straightforward booking process, e tickets, comfortable seating, great view, good lighting and sound. Bar at entrance. Lots of parking. Staff friendly, professional and helpful. All in all a great fun night. Thank you!

Went here on 16th August 2025 to see Abba The Voyage Tribute Band and it was excellent. It's a nice clean and modern theatre with pleasant and friendly staff. Would highly recommend.

Been here for a few nights out. We've all had a fantastic night every time. We've even just went for a chilled night to watch a movie. Just book something, anything because im not sure how long they will have funding for and there's already nothing to do in Cumbernauld so supports the arts and just go see a tribute band!

Park
Auchinstarry Quarry Park is a family-friendly destination with a muddy terrain, picnic benches, and swan-watching opportunities. The park features a well-built play area suitable for kids of all ages and offers various activities such as throwing ice on the frozen water in the quarry. Visitors can also enjoy ice cream from a nearby truck and explore the surrounding shops. Additionally, it's an ideal spot for dog walking and offers opportunities for paddle boarding and canoeing on the water.
Lovely scenery. Outdoor climbing. Phenomenal kids play park with wonderful historical links. Canal walks and Cafe near by. No public toilets.
Christine L — Google review
Amazing Roman themed park. Has lots to do to suit all ages. Lovely views, plenty parking. Has a couple of picnic tables around the outside of the park, where you can see the swans and ducks. Ice cream van visits, there is rock climbing and nature trails. No toilets at the park, nearest toilet is 10mins walk away at The Boathouse on the canal. There is tar path all around the park easy for prams and wheelchairs to move around.
Cheryl “ — Google review
Lovely little park on the edge of a disused quarry with a large pond, adventure playground and some parking. Also seems to be a popular spot for rock climbing.
Andrew M — Google review
Good size car park and very well built kids play area suitable for kids of all ages. Water in the quarry was frozen and was a side activity for kids to throw ice on. Kids play area is fenced so you are comfortable that kids will stay in their area and not go near water without your knowledge.
Muhammad Y — Google review
Lovely place to go for a walk along the nature trail, great playpark for the kids and climbers, climb the rock facing regularly, lovely pond area too with swans ducks and young too.
Lisa F — Google review

Great place for climbing with range of trad grades l, beware of loose rock on Trundle slab and on Promontory Direct! With new play park will be great for kids and also paddle boarding and canoing is available on the water!
Jonathan S — Google review
Great spot for families to park up and have a walk. It's usually quite muddy so just becareful under foot. There's a odd bench to sit and wait the swans and picnic bench. Small car park free of charge, great park for the kids just opened and a decent pub just across the way for food afterwards if u fancy it called The boathouse. The pub is dog friendly too and has large car park and outside eating area too.

Swimming pool
Tryst Sports Centre is a fantastic destination for swimming enthusiasts and families alike. With three distinct pools, including a warm baby pool perfect for little ones, an intermediate pool equipped with fun floats and balls, and a spacious main pool ideal for swim lessons, there's something for everyone. The centre also features clean facilities, friendly staff, and ample changing areas with lockers that operate using a returnable £1 coin.
Super swimming venue. Shared lanes work well, always seem to find a bit to swim laps, no matter how busy the pool seems. Clean facilities and friendly staff make for an enjoyable experience. The sauna is big, always seems very clean, and ample changing facilities, with lockers, which use a returnable 1 pound coin to operate.
J B — Google review
Not very busy in the gym. Some equipment got notices on them saying do not use I assume they were broken. Hand bike miles, calories recorder, speed etc display still broken last time I used it in Tryst gym was about 5 years ago and was broken then too. The seating area in the gym is shut off with 2 screens and notices telling you to leave bags jackets in lockers down stairs. Not good for people like myself who are disabled and want to sit away from machines to rest to allow others access to them nearest seats outside gym next to lift once you go out there you lose the momentum to go back into gum and continue exercising.
George P — Google review
Did a 12-week stint. The gym is great, staff really helpful. If only users would use the provided spray and paper towels to clean their sweat up after using the aparatus'.
Peter M — Google review
Good facilities, however, the changing rooms stink, and the people in charge of teaching kids how to swim are frankly terrible. They do not control the class well and seem like they would rather be anywhere else. One or two are fine the rest should be doing something else. I wouldn't recommend sacking them as I'm not that cruel but you can't train or force folk to care. Send them elsewhere.
Ordo M — Google review
Great facility well worth a visit clean and the staff are friendly and helpful..only downside is that you really need to be on the ball when trying to book in for certain classes as the spaces are away like two minutes after opening
Ann M — Google review
We went to use the swimming pools, they have a toddlers pool and intermediate pool and full size swimming pool, good changing facilities and showers, we enjoyed it.
JOHN F — Google review
Went for a swim but the main pool had swim club and the small pool was closed due to staff shortages. Everyone was crammed into the middle pool. Poor show from NLC as usual.
Steven K — Google review
Swimming pools are great here. 3 different sizes so guaranteed to find something that suits. Baby pool is lovely and warm. Middle pool is good for fun as they provide things like floats and balls for the kids to play with. Big pool is great for kids learning to swim. My son recently completed his first length in there 😊 Has onsite vending machines and a cafe with seated area that over looks the pools. Only negative I have are the showers are really poor. Very little pressure in them and go off within seconds. Very frustrating. Also has a gym and sauna. Staff are lovely so I'd definitely recommend it. Car parking is plentiful so no probs there.

New College Lanarkshire, Cumbernauld Campus, is nestled in the heart of a vibrant community that emerged from the visionary plans of the Cumbernauld Development Corporation and architect Geoffrey Copcutt. This campus not only offers an enriching educational experience but is also conveniently located near a charming shopping center. Here, you can find popular retail outlets like Dunnes, Next, TKMAXX, and River Island alongside various cafes and services such as hairdressers and pharmacies.
absolutely amazing taught me so much about tattooing I'm so thankful for the lectures who had me
Lauren D — Google review
It's better than it was 20 years ago. There certainly has been a fair amount of money put into making it more light/airy and less....orange. But the choice of shops is not great, there are loads of cheap/nasty "pop-up shops" which come and go, taking over from each other in an endless stream. The Antonine Centre is the newer part of the mall, and I'd recommend a visit to Cafe Alba for a nice coffee and piece of cake.
Lynne T — Google review
I went to this college on a supported learning course thinking it would be different from school where teachers are constantly on your case about everything but I was wrong I really felt as though they treat you as if your in primary one all over again in the supported learning courses there still very strict on people swearing I mean they just couldn’t take an adult joke from there students we weren’t even aloud to watch national lampoon when we had a Christmas party in the hair and beauty class

Cannot find an email to send this to and when I messaged them on Facebook I never got a reply. The other day we paid to participate in the market where we came along and set our stall up and had a large variety of discounted power banks and cables to offer. Within the first hour we were made to feel extremely uncomfortable with two men marching up and down, pointing and staring at our stall. At first, we thought they were visitors to the centre so we greeted them with a smile and let them browse. Following this, the two men came right up to the stall, completely ignored us when we said hello (failed to even look at us in the face) but pointed at our items and made us feel uncomfortable. We later found out that the men themselves have electronic stalls (which are probably full time and part of a binding contract). After that, they approached security and marched by our stalls, again, pointing and embarrassing us. Within the next hour, we were approached by a lovely lady called Cheryl who politely asked us to leave - she apologised many times, but we understood it wasn't her fault. I asked her if this was because of competition, and she nodded her head as to say yes. What we can't understand is, there were other shops surrounding his stall which have exactly the same products to offer? We were extremely embarrassed and asked to leave. To get further to the point, we paid for this stall, we got our pictures taken with our products, we were obviously welcome to sell what we were selling until the men who intimidated and made us feel threatened complained about us. As I mentioned, we assumed this was because of competition, but a few shops away was Argos, and various other shops who sell exactly what they are selling, as well as the shop at the top of the escalators offering the exact same service. To make this even better, once we packed up our stuff, took it home and got the receipt so we could get our money back (adding to fuel costs and inconvenience), we checked out the man's stall where you will find a picture attached below. The only thing he had to offer that was the same as us were iPhone cables, and even at that, they were completely different. As I was saying, there were loads of shops surrounding us and we feel like we have been discriminated against due to our age, we have just turned 20 years old and have been left with a bad experience in your centre. After telling my parents what had happened, they quickly assumed it was age discrimination, also. Being very young, we are aware that it's very easy to bully people out of these sort of things, and things like this tarnish reputations. The staff were lovely and very apologetic about asking us to leave, but the man (and his friend) who acted as the catalyst to us being asked to leave should really be the centre of your concerns. The only time I saw the man smile was when we were carrying our boxes out the door - which again, is very embarrassing. This is very unwelcoming and it's something I would take into consideration as it's very unwelcoming for your visitors. The other man who accompanied him was seen behind the e-cigarette stall at the top of the escalators. We feel like this situation must be brought to your attention and I look forward to hearing your findings in due course.

Not too bad shopping centre, great if its a wet day, every store under shelter, plenty fast foods Outlets round about KFC ,McDonalds, Burger King, Domino's & Pizza Hut to name a few, Tesco on one side and Asda Superstore on the other ;-)

Sacred Heart Church is a beautiful and welcoming place of worship that offers a warm and friendly atmosphere. The church itself is stunning, with unique stained glass windows and a spacious chapel. Visitors can expect to experience a sense of inner peace and tranquility while being surrounded by helpful and friendly individuals who are always ready to lend an ear or offer assistance.
Absolutely love this church and visit weekly with my children. Father Campbell always offers a warm and welcoming mass with always that little bit of humour and reality. The church itself is so very beautiful and the stained glass window is something quite unique. My husband and I had our marriage convalidated within this church and it was the most perfect day. If visiting this church for the first time I highly recommend taking a few minutes in the day chapel and experiencing something very unique

World of Wings, located in the village of Luggiebank near Cumbernauld, North Lanarkshire, is a must-see for bird enthusiasts. It houses a diverse collection of birds including hawks, eagles, owls, falcons, parrots and other exotic species. Visitors can enjoy flight shows and get up close to these magnificent creatures. The well-maintained facility and knowledgeable staff ensure that the birds are well cared for.
We did a handling experience today... Went in early to have a cup of tea and a roll, tasty and reasonable price. Hadn't been to anything like this before so wasn't sure what to expect. Had a great time... We got to hold 2 different birds, and Lynn was very informative. She didn't rush anyone so we got to hold them a good while. She knows what she is talking about, and was answering any questions we had too. We then got to fly the birds twice... Then watched the flying display, and ended it with seeing all the other birds around the area. It seems a bit run down, but Lynn explained they were in middle of renovations. Absolutely loved it and we spent 3 hrs there, and I'm sure u could be longer! Thanks to everyone for the experience.

We did the family flying experience today and had a brilliant time. We’ve visited the centre quite a few times and really enjoy seeing the flying displays and finding out about the different birds but the experience today was excellent, handling the birds and finding out lots about them. The keepers are all fab and so knowledgeable. Abbie was brilliant especially making sure my daughters were comfortable and happy handling the birds. Would definitely recommend both a visit to the centre and an experience if you can.
Tracy M — Google review
This is a fantastic place to visit and I’d highly recommend it for people of all ages. It’s amazing to see all the different birds up close and to see some of them flying in the flying sessions. A falcon even landed on my husband’s head during a flying session!😆 The talks during the flying sessions were really informative and interesting for me and my husband and our ten year old. Our six year old wasn’t so interested in the talks (understandably) but he loved the kids play area and seeing the birds. Great experience!
Louise T — Google review
This hidden gem is well worth the visit. The staff are amazing, friendly and knowledgeable. Obviously love looking after all the birds. It's worth staying for all the different flight displays. Cafe is worth a visit, especially the great Scottish cakes
Claire — Google review
Absolutely brilliant place, had an experience and totally worth it, but please book your experience through them and not a 3rd party as they then get all the money, keepers are all really good, knowledge is outstanding, Lynne was our group keeper and she was brilliant, Stuart was the keeper for the flying and he was also outstanding and funny. This place is a gem and we can't wait to come back for our next experience

Amazing day, Bird shows with amazing information!! Staff couldn't do enough, more information whilst going about their job. Cafe is delicious, we had tea just and cake. We will definitely be back. Photography lover it's a must!!!! They also do photography courses. Experiences.

Great place with well looked after birds. We arrived at 10am and stayed until 2pm. There was plenty to see and every two hours from 11am there is an hour long flying display and talk about some of the birds. The staff were all friendly and the food in the café was really good. We had a great time and plan to return in the future
S.L. J — Google review
It was a fantastic experience to admire the birds up close. Guided by incredibly enthusiastic and experienced people. Stewart was a torrent of fascinating stories for the vulture experience, which we even got to feed. We concluded our experience with a flying display of different species. Definitely recommended for any (bird) nature lover. We wish the entire team the best of luck with their breeding project and keep our fingers crossed for a beautiful young vulture in the near future.

The staff is lovely and the play area is huge! My son loved it and there was vegan options for us including vegan vanilla ice cream which was amazing. I just think it is far too expensive over £14 for 2 hours play during the week is absolutely ridiculous. If it was unlimited play, people would be more inclined to come and would spend money on food/drink.
Kifah C — Google review
This place is a SCAM for local people!! They know it is the only soft play in Cumbernauld and they abuse the prices. The price for 2 children-only the enter is £33 plus they charge for each adult 1.50£ which is unreal. If you choose to eat their food that is the worst I have ever seen and overpriced the total fun for for two hours will cost around £80. Don’t get fooled by those greedy people. With this value of money, you can do so Much more on better places.
Festime A — Google review
I was absolutely amazed when we visited for the first time today. Incredible equipment, really well staffed and clean. My pet hate is a dirty looking play space, but there were people going around cleaning everything: High chairs were being cleaned within an hour of opening and they already looked pretty spotless to me. The Inflatable section is awesome- I think it is new. We never ate, but food/ cakes all looked good too. They seem to have thought of everything. I couldn't fault it.
Keri T — Google review
Been coming here for a long time and my son loves it, my son is my priority over a few extra pound than other places charge but I do agree that it is expensive, many people have mentioned the cash on entrance which is a bit odd and first thing that come to my mind also was tax invasion however I have seen many of people using their card for payment, it is obviously down to the venu what form of payment they expect which doesn’t necessarily mean it’s dodgy, let’s think they have a cash machine installed right next to the counter but still have card facility available, if you use your card they will incur a charge which I believe is around 10% but if they make you use that cash machine they actually make more money Even though the machine doesn’t charge for withdrawals, most staff are Miserable and cafe is very much overpriced however it’s Our choice as adults if we use it or not, We can feed and water ourselves before or after play and if necessary we could sneak a little drink in for the kids, I personally get a large Coke for them to share but jugs or juice are available, after saying all that there is plenty to do here and my kids love it so I will continue to come back, I also travel about 60 miles each way to come here, I am in Receipt of benefits so if I can do it without to much hardship then surely you can too, think of your children and not yourselves.
Wesley H — Google review
Great place and my twin boys love every minute of they’re time here which gives me some chill time with a cuppa …can’t fault the cleanliness of the place either they’re staff are on it all the time…..just wish they’d build one nearer Glasgow city centre
Billy M — Google review
Now I can say that it's better because it's new castle and was not hot like last time, food and drink it's more expensive compared to different soft play and we don't like a food here but it's big and kids have a fun
Monika Z — Google review
We bought our daughter here while we where staying over for a few days and we thought it was brilliant and amazing. There is so much to do, all the toys, the inflatable section, the 3 level softplay and all those slides. My daughter had an amazing time! We went for the 2 hours and the time passed so quickly. Very spacious which is nice, as a lot of soft plays can be cramped. I wish we had something on this scale in Cumbria. Most ones down here are a lot smaller and don't offer as much. I don't get people complaining about the price. It's actually pretty reasonable for something that size compared to what you pay down here. The softplays in my area adults pay as well, and in a lot of them it's £3.00, as they also us the facilities. Also the food was nice as well and again reasonably priced. I was expecting to pay more as some of these places rip you off for the food. The only downside was the heat, it was way way to hot and you could feel the heat coming off the ceiling mounted heaters, it was also quiet a warm day as well so the heating didn't need to be on that high. My only other thing is none card payment for entry and yet you can use can card to pay for food. I did notice card machines at the entrance so I really don't know why it's cash only when we live in a time now, esp after covid where few people actually use cash.

Bedlam Paintball & Lasertag Cumbernauld is a chain venue that offers a variety of arenas, complete with rental equipment and party services. The gear provided, including paintball guns, helmets, and coveralls, is of good quality. They also offer additional options without being too pushy. With four different playing fields available, a three-hour session with 300 paintballs should be sufficient unless you're excessively trigger happy.
Took my grandson and two of his mates here, we had a great time together teaming up work other random attendees. Booking was well handled, briefings were good, ranges / arenas were suitable for the fun. Worth visiting for sure
Mike V — Google review
We went for my son's birthday as I'd taken my other kids to paintballing at similar and older ages. I had a rough idea how the day would go. The cumbernauld one was alot smaller than previous sites id been to. We'd to scan a QR code to sign a waiver for each player before they were allowed to play. The kids got their uniforms, guns and paintballs. The helmets were only half helmets and did not cover the top of their heads which i was concerned about. We had booked for the morning but got a call the day before asking us to change to the afternoon as there wasn't enough players as other teams had pulled out. This was a little annoying to arrange last minute but was offered additional paintballs for inconvenience. Previous sites I'd gone to had free tea/coffee facilities but weren't here. And there was also a tank kids could get pictures on but the Cumbernauld site is very small and had a few picnic benches. The site isn't the easiest to get to as its not well signposted but following signs and turning into world of wings and follow up to bedlam paintballing car park. There was one porta loo on the grounds. There didn't seem to have any lockers for belongings but that's only because I couldn't see any in the small area. Everyone just left their belongings on the benches and thought that was a bit of a risk as the site was easy to get into. I stayed behind while my party went into the games. I was told it'd be 3 sets of 2 games. At the end of the day there was meant to be a scoreboard with winners announced. But they went in twice for 45 mins games. I divided their paintballs amd gave them a 3rd of their paintballs as i was told theyd be going in for 3 games. But after the 1st game we were all told theyd only be going in for one more game so take all their paintballs. They ended almost an hour earlier than they shouldve and came out at 2.45 instead of 3.30pm. My son had extra paintballs by the end and handed them back in. Kids I had in my party were to be picked up at 3.45 when I was told it'd end but we sat till pick up. All the staff left just after 3 except one member who stayed till we got picked up at 3.45. My son enjoyed paintballing but I'd be very reluctant to return to this site. £50 per child for 2x 45 min games (this was with a special offer) was a bit steep. Previous paintballing experience through IPG where you pay £60 for 10 people for the passes and £10 each player (£100, so works out £16pp for 10 people 9-4) on booking was always what I paid and this was for full day and not the half day (1-3.45) I'd got through bedlam for £50 pp.

We had my son's 10th birthday party yesterday at the Cumbernauld site yesterday and cannot praise them enough. The guys (and girl) on the team are friendly, professional and knowledgable and so accomodating. In all honesty, the booking experience on the phone felt rushed and impersonal and I was a bit apprehensive turning up. But the on-site experience is the polar opposite. Even getting lost and turning up a bit late didn't dampen the experience and i've been reliably informed by 8 10yo's that it was the best birthday party EVER. Thank you all very much, you made my boy's day ❤️

The Broadwood Stadium is impressive and received positive feedback from visitors. They were able to enter the stadium before the game to take pictures, thanks to the accommodating staff. The only drawback mentioned was parking difficulty. Additionally, there is a small soft play area that allows parents to easily supervise their children. It is also beneficial for those who have registered their children for swimming lessons as it offers cheaper rates during weekdays.

A really nice community stadium. A cup final for two young teenage football teams. The atmosphere gave the boys a taste & feel of a big match stadium. Nice place

Forget the stadium and walk around the loch, it’s only 2 mins walk from the stadium and it’s a nice walk with lots of wild life to see. Roughly 1.75 miles all the way around. Quite flat ground in most places. Wear wellies or boots in the winter. It has a couple of play parks along the route for kids (1-10 years old) to enjoy.
J S — Google review
The Ground was opened in 1995 after a period of ground sharing with Hamilton and Partick Thistle, following their departure from their old shawfield ground in 1986.With a capacity of over 8 ,000 its has only three stands all are smart though with windshields at either side,an intresting fact that Broadwood is the highest ground above see level in scotland

Buzz Bingo Cumbernauld is a large bingo center that offers electronic gaming and slot machines, as well as regular live entertainment. Customers have praised the efficient staff who quickly attended to queues. However, some visitors have commented on the limited selection of bar products available during bingo games. On a positive note, the entertainment provided by Zander Nation was described as brilliant and enjoyable. The hotel staff received compliments for their friendliness, although there were disappointments regarding outdated rooms that are due for redecoration.
Attended the zander nation bounce bingo. Staff where great and dealt with the que quickly. My only complaint on the bingo themselves is their lack of bar products. Just a pop up type thing £4 for a tiny can and only a few to select from. As for the entertainment, well what a brilliant night it was with zander nation. They guys are brilliant and living their best life's... Love it.

Visited with a friend since it has been changed over and I wasn't too impressed. The game itself was good although if you are going first time, be prepared to lose a few numbers along the way, the callers are pretty quick. The staff are really lovely and like a good laugh which takes away the focus on the dirty seats and game boards. The build up of dirt is disgusting but hey if that doesn't bother you then it's a great game to play. The place looks like it needs a good refurb and that's what let's it down so much. Don't even get me started on the toilets just try and hold it until you get home. I dont doubt the toilets are cleaned but not regularly enough as someone had wiped their own poop on toilet roll holders. At that point I couldn't wait to get out and to wash. I think with a good deep clean or a refurb the place could really be a great night out but this is one I won't be visiting regularly

Arria Statue, created by Andy Scott, is a captivating tourist attraction that offers a delightful experience. Despite the misleading GPS coordinates, previous reviews proved helpful in locating it. Visitors can park at Eastfield cemetery and embark on a charming forest walk accompanied by dog walkers. Close proximity to the statue can be achieved through the cemetery's carpark or a lay-by on the side road.
Gorgeous Andy Scott sculpture. Loved the visit here, and went back at night to see it lit up. It doesn't vary the colours like the Kelpies do, but it looks beautiful against a dusk sky regardless. Not a big trip out of your way, so I think it's well worth dropping by to see the welcome to Cumbernauld figurehead.
Sandy K — Google review
Fabulous sculpture in a quiet location. Recommend going in to cemetery to park close by.
CAROLINE D — Google review
After visiting the kelpies I was aware of this sculpture also, looked amazing in the pictures I'd seen. Finding it wasn't to hard although I went into the cemetery first before coming back out to discover seemingly no parking options . I spoke to local lady who was doing her garden and she advised me on where to park . There's isn't much parking but we were the only ones there on arrival. As it's the only sculpture there you won't be there too long. We got our pictures and off we went. Worth a visit but nothing else there really.
Paul T — Google review
I used to see this every day when working in the Glasgow area 10 years ago. This is the first time I've been up close, and it is massive. We parked at the end of Craighalbert Road. It was not the best as it was incredibly muddy. There is a cemetery alongside the Arria site with a handful of parking bays for those visiting loved ones.
Kev B — Google review
An amazing sculpture, locally made, walking through a beautifully kept cemetery to get to it.
Paul H — Google review
Impressive sculpture, in size and impact. Easy to get to from various directions if cycling (which I did) or walking. The only issue is that it is on a crest of a hill and there is no easy way to view the upper part as there are no similar heights nearby, you can only look up at it from very close by.
Alan H — Google review
We knee we wanted to see the Kelpirs and spin researching we found this little gem. There weren't any people there except us. It's a little harder to find as its attached to the cemetery and there isnt any parking at the sculpture itself. A very easy walk in. Beautiful to look at.
