10 stories of fun interactive exhibits to learn about the history of shipping in Door County and the instrumental role it played in the founding of Sturgeon Bay. After purchasing admission, you are given a time slot to watch a quick 5-10 minute video before going up the elevator to the observation deck for the amazing view. Then, you work your way down the stories and each floor has a specific theme for the exhibits. I won't spoil anything but I would highly recommend to any local or tourists just visiting.

This museum has a lot of exhibits and a lighthouse tower with stunning views of sturgeon bay. The tug boat tour is like a museum in itself. Plan ahead, as the tug boat tour occurs only a handful of times each day and takes about 45 minutes. Gift shop has a vast and diverse amount of items for sale. Ample parking lot.

I could spend all day up on that tower with the beautiful views. Highly recommend a tour of the tugboat if you haven't done it yet. Our tour guide was the sweetest old man who was very knowledgeable and answered every question. Amazing piece of history there, and this museum has amazing staff that take great pride in what they do.

One of our favorite last minute stops of our vacation and an absolute favorite. We did not do the tug tour but if you do, you get to go on one of the boats outside which looked neat. Do not miss going up into the tower though! You are assigned a time when you buy tickets. We lost track of time while outside and the lovely ladies at the register still let us participate with a different group. The views from the tower and all the exhibits on the 10 floors was very cool along with the museum as a whole. One of our favorites for souvenirs as they had a ton of options and pricing was on the better side surprisingly.

It's a must to do if you go to Sturgeon Bay. 10th floor observatory to view Sturgeon Bay. Prior to going up a brief video of the history of Sturgeon Bay and surrounding areas. As you come down from the 10th floor each floor follow the video with exhibits. Friendly staff and knowledgeable. Great time.

A nice museum, great information and pretty views from the tower. Only sad part was they didn't have room for us to join the tugboat tour.

This is a beautiful state park to visit! There is a nice campground and we are very excited that the tower is now open again! Last time we were here, it was closed. The views from the tower were AMAZING! There are great hiking trails! We highly recommend that you visit Potawatomi State Park!

State park 5* Campground 1* This is a review of the campground. I've visited this state park several times, but my last visit was an unpleasant and depressing experience. The campground looked like a giant sawmill. There were cut-down trees piled up everywhere, as if ready for transport and sale. Besides its depressing appearance, this also deprives the campground of privacy and separation. When we come to a state park, we expect contact with nature, peace, and quiet. Whoever decided to cut down the trees and brush ruined this beautiful place. Furthermore, the restroom was filthy and disgusting. Potawatomi is still a beautiful state park and worth visiting, but I recommend avoiding campground.

Absolutely gorgeous state park, especially at the peak of fall colors. We stayed within walking and biking distance and it was gorgeous. Great views of the bay, great trails and parks surrounded by trees. Highly recommend to anyone staying in the area or passing by.

Great hiked the Tower Trail which included a beautiful view from the fire tower. Part of the hike is along the water and part through the forest. The fall colors were spectacular!

Breathtaking views, long and well-maintained roads, and beautiful hiking. The newly renovated tower (reopened April 2025) offered incredible vistas over Lake Michigan. We plan to check out a campsite at some point in the future.

Lookout tower was back open, fishing pier replaced, and a new entrance station being built. Great time camping here even in the fall.

Cannot recommend this museum enough, the diorama was absolutely incredible, and the informational video about its creation added to the value of that particular portion of the museum!

We were in the area looking for something low cost to do one day. This museum operates on the suggested donation of $5 per adult. You will get you five dollars and then some. It has lots of interactive exhibits including a historical fire engine, piano, jail cell (my son enjoyed it until I locked him in and walked away), as well as an old fashioned phone booth the kids all seemed to love as it has a line waiting to give it a try. The staff member on duty was friendly willing to explain things, and even gave us demos of things that you would not get to see without him taking the time to show you. My only complaint is that with the cost being low it did seem to have a lot of disrespectful people that treated the place more like a zoo. They just let their kids run and terrorize the place. Actually even being rude at times to those that wanted to enjoy the treasures found at this location. Not really the fault of the museum as they don't want to turn anyone away but at some point they may need to ask people to leave that are being distrustful and not following the rules. Overall it was a good example of what a small town museum can and should be. Very well done.

Wow!! Unbelievably awesome little museum. I was so happy to find this on a rainy day, it saved our family vacation. Thank you so much Door County Historical Museum for your outstanding collection. What a beautiful display of history! I hope I get the chance to visit again. There are not many things you can do for free. How wonderful!

Very impressed with DoCo History Museum. The initial display is VERY impressive and took years to build. Then there’s two other large floors, a few hallways, and the historical fire engine hall. Only planned on popping in and out, but between the size and intro by the lovely curator we were there 30-45 mins and could’ve spent much longer. So don’t plan it being just a quick visit. Overall though, 8.5 out of 10 and would definitely recommend.

My five and two-year-old grandkids and I had a great time here. The displays are interesting, staff is friendly, and driving the firetruck is wonderful!!

Free and tons of exhibits showing a huge variety of historical artifacts. Old jail cell was a hit with the kiddos they enjoyed locking each other in the cell 😀. Fire trucks were a hit too. One truck has a working bell. Overall very detailed and well maintained museum. Its free but consider giving them a donation so they can continue operating this gem of a place!

Great little place. Free, donations welcome. Friendly staff. The taxidermy display was very well done. Good area history. Part of the building is the original fire dept, and they had a cute little 1 cell jail for fun pics. Bring cash-no credit/debit available. A few souvenirs for purchase.

We just saw *39 Steps* at Third Avenue Playworks (TAP) and… WOW. What an absolute blast! From the moment the lights came up, the physical antics of the cast had us laughing non-stop. How *four* incredibly talented performers managed to play so many characters, switch costumes in a heartbeat, and move set pieces with such perfect timing is mind-blowing. The pace was so fast and the energy so high that we were practically exhausted just from laughing—and from watching the cast dash, spin, and transform right before our eyes. It’s smart, it’s silly, it’s brilliantly executed, and it’s the kind of theater magic that reminds you why live performances are so special. Bravo to TAP for delivering a show that’s as clever as it is hilarious!

EXCEPTIONAL!! My husband and I were in town from Chicago for 2 nights. We saw the theater as we drove in and walked over. The show, Daddy Long Legs, was opening that evening, so we purchased tickets. What a treat!! Fantastic production worthy of any run in Chicago or even NY. The theater is in a new beautiful space, the people working and attending charming. Highly recommend that if there is a play while you are in Door County, you try to attend.

Third Avenue Playhouse is a professional theater in a small midwestern venue. The performances are always top notch with riveting performances by the carefully selected actors. The sets always add so much to the experience as well. The staff led by Jacob Janssen strive to make this a community theater for everyone to enjoy, with “pay what you will “ on dress rehearsal nights or even checking out “gratis” tickets from the local library. You gotta check it out.

Two great actors! The characters of Richie & Marcie developed their dynamic and loyal relationship from the very start of the play. The setting was so organic to their life - the dirt foundation, duct taped booths and jukebox player - their deep attention to each other during their individual expression was intimate to their firm yet frail grasp on their circumstances. Thank you for this unique perspective!

Always interesting plays with minimal actors sometimes playing multiple roles. Sure keeps it interesting as they also move props around. Bought season tickets so I don't miss a performance!

We saw 39 Steps this evening and it was fabulous. Fast paced and very funny!

Here for "Ryan's Pub: Trivia Night" with Doug Mancheski and Kelli Strickland. World premiere of highly unusual two-person hyper speed dialogue drama with a breathless script that defies the imagination. (How do they do that? You ask yourself.) A truly amazing performance by both actors, but Kelli steals the show. Alex Polzin deserves kudos for the scene design. A real accomplishment. TAP is showing its stuff. Fortunate to have this company in town.

I loved this walk so much. It was really fun to walk out and down to the lighthouse. Got amount of parking too.

Another pretty stop - lots of placed to stop and see the canal. The lighthouse is well kept and picturesque. A nice place to kill a little time. Lots of bikers and hikers in the area. Fun to just watch ships come in and out.

Not sure why it asked about tickets as this is a free place to visit. It’s a nice walk out to the light house. You can only see the outside as there is no entry to the light house. Follow the directions posted on the signs and ground.

Really disappointed...Its part of the Coast Guard.... Many restrictions may as well enjoy the pic you have here...Even though it was a beautiful view...There was a Lighthouse we got a pic of as well....No tickets needed Free

We went for sunrise pictures. There was no one there. It was great!! Limited parking and stay on the public path. Active Coast Guard station on one side and private property on the other. Fantastic views

Really amazing lighthouse! You have to take the public access to the pier. This access is located next to a private site of the US Coast Guard, don't miss it !! The walk is really nice on the pier to get to see the lighthouse closer. Also good spot to fish for the anglers. Easy to park!

It’s a Saturday market selling fresh produce and other food items, handcrafts and food stands with grilling.

This park is the perfect spot to watch the sunset! The view over the water is absolutely breathtaking, with the sky turning beautiful shades of orange, pink, and purple. It’s peaceful, relaxing, and a wonderful place to take a walk or just sit and enjoy the moment. Highly recommended for couples, families, or anyone looking for a scenic and calming experience by the sea.

This is an amazing place to visit! It is absolutely BEAUTIFUL, and it is free! The rocky shoreline is breathtaking and the waves hitting the rocks create a beautiful, relaxing atmosphere. I highly recommend you visit this park is you have a chance to do so. It is dog-friendly. It can be very busy, so just be prepared for that. We love this park!

This is a must visit when going to Door County. The picnic area is nice & the rock beach off the picnic area is very picturesque. There is a trail along the shoreline that has holes where you can look down into caves where the waves are crashing. The scenery, sounds, & Lake Michigan shoreline are incredible.

My favorite experience visiting door county. The trail to Whitefish Dunes State Park is short but very beautiful. There are benches along the way for one to sit and admire the lake and its limestone shores.

Loved walking the trail along Lake Michigan in this beautiful county park. Nice parking lot, a pretty gazebo, and some outhouses. The walking path was well marked and had lots of scenic stopping points where you can see the waves crashing against the limestone bluffs and into the caves carved out by the constant pounding. You walk along the lakefront, but you're up in a forest, so you have the beauty of the fall leaves and the pines shielding you from the sun, and you can see the lake through the trees. The path on the County Park side is covered in leaves and pine needles and there are some rocks and roots to watch out for. Once you cross over into the connected Whitefish Dunes State Park, there's a gravel path that continues the journey, sometimes winding a bit farther away from the shore but still within view. You can walk all the way to the State Park beach on the connected path, which makes a really nice hike.

I enjoyed my time at Cave point County Park. The views were incredible. There were bathrooms, sufficient parking and spots for a picnic. Plan to stay a long time. It is such a beautiful park.

Nice little park sandwiched between the surrounding state park, so it's free to enter, park, and walk around the short trail along the coast. Waves look nasty if you accidentally fall so don't!

Starboard Brewing Company is a nice little brewery in downtown Sturgeon Bay. It is a cool old building with a bowling alley for a bar top. They have a small Brewing g system on site and make 12 of their own beers including: a mosaic IPA, citra IPA, NEIPA, a maple sour, mexican lager, a blended pale ale, Belgian white, amber, a smoked double red, dry irish stout, a Belgian saison, and a Bavarian wheat. All were really nice a pleasant. The beer tender was friendly and happy to give his recommendations. They rotate beers which will make it fun to stop again.

Great open space, they were serving tacos "out back" when we went. Was super fun!

One of the best breweries in Door Co. New beers every time I visit. Still great beer, snacks and tacos on the weekends now. Always try to make time to stop and see what new beers are on tap. Awesome spot . Try the fresh fruit michelada. They are awesome!

Very laid back and relaxing environment. From the flight I had I wasn’t blown away by the brews I tried. I will have to return to try a few different brew and revisit this review then. The service was outstanding, we had a very helpful and kind bartender. That is definitely a plus and one of the main reasons why I want to come back. Very good selection of brews! They also offer a flight to try them all and there were very few misses (and the ones that didn't hit were a me problem, not a them problem.) Owners are super knowledgeable about beer and have great tips for other alcohol in Door County.

They had live music- good beer and friendly staff. In case you didn’t know- much of down town is in the “walking area entertainment zone” aka you can have an open beverage. So if you have a partner shopping near by you can walk your beer down and sit in a chair outside while they shop! They have many varieties of beer and I love the recommendation wall! A great way to be a part of their community. It was quiet on a Saturday afternoon- but their product is solid.

We did a good blowing class with Jeremy and it was wonderful! He was a patient and thoughtful teacher and we were able to make some really exciting items that we are excited to take home!

I first saw the glass vases at Edgewood Orchard Gallery at Fish Creek. As we explored more art galleries around Door County, we found out this artist has a studio in Sturgeon Bay. We ventured there to see if we can meet the artist. Unfortunately, they were at another event. Nonetheless, we had a nice chat with the studio manager. It is good to know we can come back if we want to get some custom lamp shades made for our house.

Absolutely gorgeous work that is very much worth visiting. Some of the pieces are very expensive, but looking fortunately doesn’t cost anything. :-) Other very beautiful pieces are more accessible. The artists and staff are very friendly and helpful in explaining what they do. This place is very much worth a visit.

Wonderful time making glass paperweights. My grandsons loved it.

Amazing glass art! We got lucky and got to meet and watch the artist in action in her studio, which was a highlight of our trip. Such unique, beautiful, and complex pieces. Saw more of her pieces at Plum Gallery, too.

Took a class here. They were very generous with their time and expertise. We learned a lot, came out with beautiful stuff to take home, and they kept us from getting burned by doing dumb stuff several times. I highly recommend them.

Great location. Food was pretty good. We liked the Asian wrap & the smash burger, but best part was the battered French fries.

Fresh, healthy and delish. Fabulous salad and burger. Lovely staff. Good value, too. It took a little longer than normal to get our food but we were not in a rush. The restaurant was packed so it may have been a fluke or something. We will be back and glad to have discovered this spot!

The tofu báhn mì is fabulous! So flavorful! And the portobello Ruben is excellent. Highly recommend the fries, too!

Awesome lunch spot. Must try the fries, they are different than normal fries. Always happy with the food and service. Wife always loves to get the oriental wrap. Meatloaf for me is always great. The beer flight is a great option. I wish they were open for breakfast, but its a favorite lunch spot. Great options for kids. They are often busy, but get people in out well.

Rarely in our travels do we end up going to a restaurant twice! This was worth it! From the greeting at the door to the server (Claire) with her great smile to the Food that was Beyond great!! The Grill Cheese with the side of roasted veggies was outstanding! The Bluefront Burger, was amazing, I added nothing to it! To top it off, they had my beer! I am happy for those that showed up

The food is exceptional, and the owner is a gem. She is so devoted to making this place first-rate, and it shows! She was clearly moved when we took a moment to tell her how much we loved the restaurant. Love an owner who cares!

The juevos rancheros were fantastic. They even make their own hot sauce ...emphasis on HOT! We were lucky enough to catch the owner during a quiet patch and really enjoyed talking with her. She obviously loves what she does. The atmosphere is lovely.

Where do I begin. They totally missed the mark with bad/poor buisness practices. They tried to charge me for three beers when I only ordered two, they did not give me their advertised rate for a beer during happy hour, when in fact, I ordered both my beers before 6:00pm. They charged me .50 for bbq sauce. My son and I ordered a chicken tender basket for 13$ and for that price you would think the chicken would be whole white meat stringy muscle, nope, it is processed, frozen bs, we also ordered shrimp skewers for 12$ and for that price you'd think the shrimp would be of decent size, nope, they are about the size you see put into salads. Never again. Go else where. ****update after buisness replied**** Whoa, whoa, whoa, look at the time stamp on BOTH receipts, both before 6:00pm. Again, bad business practices quit trying to rip off tourists. That's what got me the most pissed, is when you tried to charge me for three beers and took away the happy hour discount on one of them, also, are you going to start charging your customers for ketchup, salt and pepper, where does it end when you state its a common industry standard now, give me a break, quit knickle and diming your patrons and they will not leave bad reviews. Full stop. PERIOD SHAME ON YOUR ESTABLISHMENT, DONT TRY TO SNEAKLY RIP OFF TOURIST

Great spot all around. Went here for dinner and they were able to seat us outside next to the door so we could still hear the live music right inside which was a huge plus. The waitress was so sweet and efficient. They allowed the dog to sit outside with us which was also nice. The appetizers of cheese curds, side salad, and wings were better than my entree which was a dip sandwich. The drinks were very reasonably priced and one of the best things about this place is its open late for Wisconsin, still wish places stayed open a little longer as we felt crunched for time

Housed in the original fire station, the decor pays homage to the history of the building. Very nicely done. Our server was fun, efficient and prompt. We both had the sea food chowder, and it was really tasty. I had shrimp skewers, also very tasty. Les had the chicken basket, and the chicken was tasty, tender and moist. The fries were very good as well. It was a fun and filling experience. Give it a try.

A direct comparison to Kitty O'Reillys as we got the same thing the night before. Cheese curds were nearly identical which means very good. The fish-n- chips were better at Kitty, both fish and fries. Fire Co did have 3 fish vs 2 at Kitty. The wait for first contact seemed long here too.

As a first-time visitor, I found the food to be exceptional and would highly recommend it. The service was also top-notch. The interior of the building is stunning, featuring historical photographs and a unique wall with firefighter helmets. I will definitely be returning in the future.

We went for the Friday fish fry and were very impressed. I had the pan-fried perch and it was perfect...moist, fried in butter, really good, not cooked to death like some places. Side dish of baby reds came smothered in butter too, excellent. Wife had a burger which she liked and mother in law had fried basket which she couldn't finish ( first time for everything I guess!). Service was very good too. Anyway I highly recommend! Oh yeah, try the fried pickles.

Fire themed restaurant with fire department decor on the walls. Small sidewalk seating available. Stopped in for an early dinner, food was delicious and service was good! Definitely a stop next time we are in town .

Feet into a walk you can tell that care goes into this place. The paths are well maintained, clean, and very easily hike-able. I would imagine you could push a wheelchair through most of the park with ease. Besides the easy walk, the natural beauty will suck you in, leaving you wanting more, and getting it with every step. It's not stunning like the Grand Canyon by any means, but it's way more than your average stroll in a park. If that's not enough, don't forget the access to clean indoor bathrooms at the Collins Learning Center. The amazing thing is, access to the park is free to all! Mostly paid for by donors.

A nice educational nature center hosting educational events. Long trails through woodland, creek, and prairie areas stretch the property. Most trails are gravel paved and well evened. Several sturdy, well maintained wooden walkways.

We had a nice hike, even in the rain and enjoyed the wildlife exhibit.

I can’t say enough about this place! I am so glad this land is been preserved. So beautiful, so many hiking options, great place for cross country skiing. When you compare this place to the state parks, it has more to offer without having to purchase a sticker. It is a great place to drop a contribution in appreciation. There is no hunting allowed here like in the state parks so it’s a great option when you want to hike and not get hit by bullets or arrows during hunting season. It is dog friendly, need to keep them on a leash and clean up after them. It also offers a kayak launch where are you can go out into the canal. The historic buildings are really wonderful to visit but you do have to pay. My favorite is the tool museum. You can tell from my pictures that winter is my favorite season there.

Happened upon Crossroads while searching for an EV plug. They have two Tesla wall connectors attached to a massive solar array in the parking lot. Free to use! Worked great, especially since it was 0 degrees and I was facing incredible range anxiety. Didn't know if I'd make it home! Thanks so much for installing the chargers and for being willing to share them with the community. They saved my neck! I hope it serves others as well as it did me. While I charged, I walked around and took some photos with my DSLR in the park. Absolutely gorgeous in the sunset and snow. Would love to see this place in the summer. Highly recommended to visit in Sturgeon Bay!

Great trails that are well maintained. I would highly recommend making sure you have time to walk them as the hours are dawn to dusk. As well no cost and dogs are allowed. I donate to them as the funds are used to maintain the property very nicely.

CROSSROADS' front yard is getting a makeover. On September 21, on the terraces in front of the Collins Learning Center, a bunch of us -Pollinator Pals - planted hundreds of native pollinator plants designed to attract some of the All Star heavy hitters of the world. Next year should be quite a feast.

Wonder experience at The Farm with our kids and grandkids. The place was teaming with goats checking everyone for bottles of milk. The place was well kept and the staff were attentive. We spent a couple of hours there. The joy in our grandchildren’s eyes will keep us coming back.

Great fun (as long as you like animals). We fed and pet the animals. Cute gift shop. Friendly staff. Some short trails to walk. Little stops inside the property with information and interesting antique farm equipment. Beautiful flowers and vegetable gardens to walk through and can even pick some - they weigh it for price. Not sure of the cost as we did not take any vegetables. Lots of families with kids of all ages running around. Not very shady except on the short trails so if the sun is shining prep accordingly. Worth the trip.

This place is for kids, and those that are kids at heart. There is a well defined walking path that cuts through several areas that feature goats, sheep, cows, equines,.and more, all of which are more than happy to get scratched behind the ear, and most (do not feed the horses) a mouthful of corn. There are also patches garden featuring local flora, as well as corn, gourds, and other vegetables. Intermingled are also historical tou he's from farm.imolements, vehicles, tools for previous day to.day living, and products that would have been farmed or made. There are also paths a little less manicured than take you along wooded areas, and a waterfowl pond. Be sure to set aside at least an hour, and be ready to get your hands a little dusty petting the animals, and don't forget to bottle feed a few baby goats! I wish I had taken more photos of the animals but I was having too much fun petting petting them. If you have kids or like me, are just a big kid make this a part of your stop while in the area.

We've been here twice and both times it was the best place and the best experience we had in Door County. I also like a lot Cana island, but a second visit not as exiting as the first one. But any visit to The Farm is special and unforgettable ❤️ I was milking a goat first time in my life!!! 😊

So much fun had by big and little kids. Feeding the goats a bottle was definitely a highlight. Walking the paths and seeing the old buildings and 2 peacocks fanned out was great. Went mon of memorial day, and it was busy but not crazy.

A must do activity in Door County! This is a highlight of all of our trips — cuddling the kittens, feeding the baby goats, beautiful walks, and so much to learn!

The Farm is one of our must-do places on vacation to Door County. The entry fee is reasonable, and you can buy bottles for the baby goats and corn to feed to very cheap. A great excursion for all ages in Door County.

Our waitress was very nice, she did forget a salad. My spinach chicken ravioli had only 5 ravoili on the plate and it was dry on the inside. The rolls were very tasty. Overall it wasnt an entirely bad experience. The ambiance was nice

We had ordered the Calamari Fritto. It was under cooked and rubbery. The Spaghetti Bolognese was very good as was the Scallopini Marsala. The best part of the night was our server, Pete. He was very friendly and attentive to our needs.

Great spot for a romantic dinner. My wife and I are in town for our wedding anniversary. We love Italian food and searched Google for a place and found this. The reviews didn’t lie, Trattoria is fantastic. We started with the soft cheese plate. The goat cheese and pesto were perfect together. Great Caesar salad and pasta too. Well worth a stop!

We went for my husband's birthday dinner and it couldn't have been better! The food was amazing and the service was perfect. Rachael was attentive and friendly, and the drink special that night (Irish Maid)was refreshing. We prefer to eat early, so we got there right at 5 and were seated immediately

Incredible cuisine. My family came to celebrate my wife's birthday. We did not have a reservation but thankfully were seated upon entering and didn't have to wait. Our server was absolutely delightful and highly knowledgeable about the menu. She had given prompt service and we did not have to wait long for our drinks, salads, soups, and entrees. The fare was exquisite and each bite was satisfying. I am always happy to come here when I am in Door County. It's a must-have when you are in town. Great job all around!

Great folks. great service. Visited there with my wife, small kid and my gradparents. Everyone absolutely loved all their pasta dishes. Rare for itallian to be worth it, but this place has their food on lock. Highly recommend all the pasta dishes. The vegetarian pasta was also surprisingly exceptional.

We had scampi and a pork Marsala. Both were excellent. And the white bean soup was one of the best I’ve ever had! Best meal we had in our 5 days in Door County. Wines also were top notch. Pinot Grigio w/scampi and a red from Montepluciano.

We had a lot of recommendations for this place but the food and drinks were a mix a great and pretty darn bad. We had white fish with vegetables and it was good. Would eat that again. The cocktails were great. We’d drink them again. The soups were good (miso soup was lukewarm though, but still tasty). The roll we had, the asparagus with cashew butter and avocado, was awful. I realize this combo is a bit odd and I was prepared for that but the rice was mushy and warm, the avocado was a mushy and I couldn’t even enjoy the asparagus because of that. I don’t even think I tasted cashew butter? So, maybe a an off night for that roll. But, not edible from my perspective. We will try this place again but will avoid the roll.

What a cool place! The drinks were fantastic and Katie was so kind to chat with! She was so fun and friendly. We will definitely be back.

The rolls were not the best, spicy tuna was good, but the rice is undercooked and yet mushy, so the whole texture was off. The servers were very nice and attentive, and the restaurant had a good atmosphere. The goat cheese salad was excellent though. I won’t recommend their sushi or rolls but other menu items are promising!

Let’s start with the positive: Great atmosphere and service. A good cocktail menu. Nigiri was good. So was the Avocado roll! Food was ok, pork belly ramen was pretty bland and pork was dried out. Only flaw with service was the time to get drinks and food out.. *Not kid friendly unless your kid likes sushi or expensive steak. :)

cool atmosphere, great menu options and great sushi. also they had very good sake cocktails. oysters were awesome.we had a great dinner there. the only couple things I noticed is that we were not greeted right away when we entered. it was a little weird that they didn't have a dress code for their servers or bartenders. one sever was wearing Jean's. the atmosphere there seemed too nice for that. the bartender was wearing leather pants and a skimpy crop top. which I thought was not proper apparel for an employee at a nicer restaurant.

Worst poke bowl I’ve ever tasted. The server was very sweet and attentive, however I quite literally could not finish more than two bites of the ahi salmon poke bowl. When I tell you I am not a picky person and will eat literally anything in front of me I mean it. The dish itself tasted like it had been sitting out too long. The avocados were old, the rice was crusty, they threw way too many green onions & edamame in it, The whole dish tasted and reeked of sesame oil. Again, I am the farthest thing from a picky eater and have eaten tons of less than average seafood/sushi, this dish genuinely made my day a little worse just by tasting it. The crab rangoon we ordered was alright, but aside from that consider ordering something else or saving yourself a visit altogether.

It is a good orchard to spend time with your family and get an experience of cherry picking. If you’re willing to pick sweet cherries you should go in early June. In late June, you can pick tart cherries. They also have an apple orchard. The apple-picking goes from August to October. The apple-picking dates depend on apple varieties. The prices are reasonable. It is $4 for a small bucket of cherries.

The kids had a blast exploring this farm! Very reasonably priced and cherries were fresh. Had to walk a bit to reach the sweeter cherries, but there are both sour and sweet kinds in early July. Recommend only buying one bucket per family unless kids are extremely enthusiastic about picking.

Door County is known for its tart cherries, and this place is a prime spot for picking! Peak season is in July. When Cherry season is done, the farm temporarily closes until Apple-picking season at the beginning of September. These folks couldn’t have been kinder or more helpful. Loved their suggestions on their favorite local supper clubs.

A great find with friendly staff and loads of cherries. Buckets and ladders were supplied and they had a huge pitting machine that you could use for $4!

This place is what i would imagine picking apples would be like in 1980 before corporations took over everything enjoyable in real america. Very nice staff, very enjoyable relaxing experience. Will def go back!

Nice little orchard for picking cherries. Staff/owners were very pleasant. You just stop by, check in, grab your bucket and go across the street to start picking! Sour cherries are the norm here so if you’re looking for sweet you want to check seasonal availability.

This whole area is amazing. Several trails take you to the different habitats along the way. Creeks, trees, meadows, and abundant wildlife.

Absolutely amazing black smith and very friendly staff. The replicas are very realistic and very well up kept.

This little historical village is full of fun people to tell you all about the tools and traditions of the families of the time. I could have spent all day looking and listening to we'll be back for another look for sure. Really fun and interesting.

What an incredible time. this is our second year with reel action. I can’t tell you how great of a time we had. Awesome time. Scott is a hell of a caption and put us on some really big fish (my personal best) also my buddy’s personal best. Devon was awesome super friendly and very good at navigating us on how to get the fish in the boat we went 4-4 and two monsters the year before we went 13-13 these guys don’t mess around we haven’t lost a fish yet. We are already excited for our trip next year.

We left the dock shortly after 4 am. We caught 7 and lost 4 . 5 large Kings and 2 really nice rainbows! The fishing was EXCELLENT. My brother n law, his two 18 year old sons & I fished on their large 48 ft. boat on 7/6/22. We had fished with them several times over the years with very good results. They are excellent at catching fish.

First time fishing with Scott and Greta and had an absolute blast! 13 salmon and a great time was had by all! Can’t wait to do it again!👍👍👍😎😎😎

After our experience with these guys leaving a review is a must ! Our guide was very knowledgeable and helpful, took us around and we got lucky instantly! Two big king salmons right away and the rest of the trip kept getting lucky ! Beautiful weather and we were on a decent size boat so no one got sea sick .. wonderful experience and caught total of 6 ! Will definitely be back here .To top of the wonderful experience, the owner came out after our trip and personally introduced himself and thanked us for coming and asked how the experience went .That’s very professional and I recommend these guys to anyone who wants to experience some real fishing !

Had a great Father's Day trip with Captain Devon and his crew mate. Scott set us up and got the trip scheduled really quick. Fantastic boat and gear setup, we were on their 48 footer Viking which is just an absolutely beautiful boat. We will definitely be booking them again, more than likely for my company events in the future seeing this experience went flawlessly.

Second year going out with Reel Actions. The boats are beautiful, the guides are wonderful, and they got us on the fish. Great memories were made with my son. Thank you!

Fishing trip of a life time for me. It was great. I was there for the memory not the meat so would have like more time to take many fish pics. Like all of us on shore with a company logo sign and a pic of all 5 of our fish and weight them.

You can Park for free in a little area. There is a playground for kids, bathrooms, Beach area where you can relax or swim. If you want to take a walk along the path, you will have a few swing benches and also shaded areas where you can sit. There you can park on the side of the road as well. Trash bins are a along the Paths.

It's a pretty small beach as soon as you get into water about 4 ft deep you get into a lot of seaweed but the play area is really great, the kids love it! There's also a pavilion with what appears to be a giant outdoor cooking stove with a chimney so I'm sure you can have events here I don't know if you have to book it. It's a nice family friendly little area and it's convenient to take your kids here if you're staying in Sturgeon Bay.

We reserved the park for a family gathering the night before my wedding, and it was perfect! There was plenty of room to grill in the very nice picnic area and there was plenty for our attendees of all ages to do. There's a basketball court, a playground, a volleyball court, lots of fun for lawn games, and a beach with great swimming and sunset views. Highly recommend this place for family fun - just watch out for bees, as there was a nest in the tree near the volleyball court that got disturbed during a game when we were there, resulting in a quite a few beestings.

Very cute little park. Very nice sandy beach and playground. There's a really nice sign showing the water quality (indicating when there's an e. coli or other issue). Despite it displaying caution, a number of children and adults were in the water, but that's not a reflection on the park, just people making a choice to ignore the sign. There's a nice swinging bench where you can look out on the water. I read online it was a good place to look for rocks, but that turned out not to be the case. Definitely a nice park though, especially for kids.

The new playground here is great. I do miss the old setup, as it used to have more trees (meaning more shade). But the new playground does have some cool stuff to play on. There is more now for my youngest to do because they have 2 separate play areas for different age groups. The purpose of the new playground was to allow kids of all ages and abilities to have things to do, and I think they succeeded in that respect. They also renovated the beach area in the last few years, too. So it's bigger.

We have 4 kiddos (ages 2-14), and they all enjoyed Otumba. Bring suits & towels for the beach, bring sandals & water for the park because you could be there for hours!

What a great park, for kids of all sizes. Nice rubber matting, no wood chips. All kinds of fun things to play on. It's out of the way but you should stop here with your kids!!!

Captain Steve was a great guide! He made sure we had a good trip and caught some big fish. He is a wealth of knowledge too. We really enjoyed our trip!

We had the best time with Sport Fishing Charters! The crew was so friendly and made the whole trip fun and relaxing. They really knew where to take us—we were reeling in fish in no time! The boat was super clean and comfortable, and they made sure everyone felt safe and taken care of. What I loved most was how patient and helpful they were. Some of us were new to fishing, but they explained everything and made it easy. By the end of the trip, we all felt like pros and had some great catches to show for it. This was such a memorable experience for our family, and we’ll definitely be booking with them again. If you’re looking for a fun day on the water, I can’t recommend Sport Fishing Charters enough!

Rented kayaks and had them delivered - nice service to provide. Online booking told us to call in bc we sought delivery the next day. Spoke to a young guy who was being guided by someone else - i assume he was in training. No problem with training but expect the experienced person guiding will ensure things are done correctly. He was confused and confusing as we worked through the process. In the end, two problems arose: (1)he told me they’d be here the next day at 9 am but they didn’t get here until around 11:30 - we called around 11 and were told they were on route and should’ve never been told 9 am (cool, we knew things were in the works and got that corrected) and (2) I asked for a 3 day rental and he apparently set us up with a 2 day rental (found that out the hard way - when they showed up to bring the kayaks back what I thought was a day early). I did not receive the confirmation email he said was to follow our call. I’m sure he got my email down incorrectly but it is literally my first name @ my last name with the word “law” tagged on to my last name - he got that info correct to bill my credit card so i am not sure how it was an issue for email. Regardless, I could have called when I didn’t get the confirmation email but, being on vacation, we were out all day and I needed to get to my laptop to properly check my junk email folder to ensure it wasn’t there. Besides, I’m not sure the confusion would’ve been cleared up if I got the same guy again and, regardless, I really wouldn’t have wanted to try and get that figured out with him. That night, having not received any calls telling me I failed to sign something for the rental that would’ve been in that email, I assumed the confirmation was just restating what he told me on the phone and that we were good to go — the kayaks would be here in the morning (which they were). I also should’ve spoken to the nice woman who picked the kayaks up on what I thought was a day early and ask her how they calculate days. First, I was surprised to see anyone let alone the person to pick up the kayaks so I wasn’t thinking clear. Also, at the time, I thought I was doing math wrong in my head and felt bad we didn’t have the kayaks ready to go for her. By the time it all sunk in, it was too late. I’ll accept both as my failures and will be more forward in the future. Regardless, I do think, had the person with experience confirmed everything with my phone rental, there would not have been any issues.

My family loves this store. It’s our first stop every time we visit Door County. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The selection of gear and clothing is great. Plus, they put on a fun, kid-friendly Halloween party!

We didn't shop there. Wanted to rent e-bikes, which were $20 / hr. We said we were concerned if there were trails available around them. I was impressed by how honest and reliable they were. They told us the routes around them were almost exclusively streets. We said we didn't want to rent. The lady was kind enough to suggest we try the e-bike rental place close to the Whitefish Dunes park (they rent at $30 / hr). She could have considered only their own proft (to prod us to rent from them) by downplaying the street route fact (e.g., saying they were not busy), or could have said the other rental place was far - - which was true, but she didn't. She preferred to point us to a different shop so that we had a good experience. Glad to see people like her still exist!

Great place, employees were all kind and friendly, equipment was good ready to use, good selection of active clothing available for sale, had beverages available for purchase. I will be back.

Staff was great but the E-bikes that we rented were not. The belt kept slipping on my son's and mine the handle bars were a little off. They set up the bikes based off a 20 second ride on the sidewalk. Sure would have been nice if they loaned us the tool so we could have adjusted our seats 30 minutes into the ride. Additionally the bikes didn't have a way to store your phone or a water. Again, the staff was excellent and I am sure would accommodate you if you ask them for an allen wrench or a bag for a phone /water.

Upon entering, this place brings you back. My family was browsing and enjoying themselves. Everyone happy to pick out a few memories to share. One of my kids brushed against a display of very large suckers. One was knocked to the floor. The older guy that works there asked if it broke. We looked and at first glance it seemed fine. So we put it back and moved on. A few moments later this employee informed us we must buy it. It's broken...I can't sell this...is what he said. Personally I'm fine with that. If someone in my family breaks something, we should pay for it. My problem here is how he said it. Very gruff and condescending tone that simply wasn't needed. His tone and approach to working with a customer was simply uncalled for. It changed the entire mood of my family. We were having such a wonderful day exploring Door County. Now we still made our originally planned purchases and added the ridiculous $13 sucker to it. As I said, no problem with the if you broke it you bought it. My problem was strictly with the condescending tone. So I guess I'm saying visit the place....it's fun. Lots of nostalgic items. But if you do visit, watch out for the old guy...and watch your step

Just like many other reviews, I walked out of there feeling like I just experienced highway robbery by getting charged $7 for 1 small scoop of commercially available ice cream, $3.50 for a waffle cone that didn't taste homemade or fresh, and then $20 for a few truffles. I read a bunch of responses to reviews on here from the store stating that this business is inherently expensive to run based on all of the different types of items that are offered. I think that's a sorry excuse and that people are being overcharged. I wouldn't waste your time or money at this store. I'd recommend going literally anywhere else for chocolate or ice cream!

To echo everyone else, it’s expensive so beware! We had no idea how big the fudge pieces were going to be and we got a small box with 3 pieces and it was $72. I wish there was more transparency on estimated price per piece, not the total per pound. It was a shock to spend that much money on a treat. Good taste, but we are vacationing on a budget and would have never spent that.

Visited Door County Candy today. Was surprised with how large this store is. The assortment of sweets available was almost overwhelming (haha). The have hard candies, novelty candies, ice cream, and very tasty fudge. I winced a little bit at the fudge prices, I’ve had fudge at the same level as this place for a fraction of the price. Do not expect to get his in the face with that warm candy smell here, I was let down a little. Overall it was a very cool experience for my kids. They walked away with a couple classic candy store candies. They really enjoyed the rock candy.

Won’t deny that the treats are good but extremely overpriced, I promised my kids toffee and fudge so I’ll deliver! But getting just a few treats was $75! 😮 💰 I didn’t want to be a turd and tell her forget it after she rang it up but I’ll never pay or go there again. Go to the country store near Egg Harbor the fudge was reasonable and delicious!

I'm on the fence about writing this review, but I can't let it slide. Most items in the store did not have pricing, being a somewhat seasonal town I don't mind paying a premium for house made caramel and chocolate. I paid nearly $60.00 for the following: • 2 Scoops of ice cream (receipt says 3) • 1 piece of homemade caramel $30.64 • 2 waffle cones on the side My jaw almost hit the floor when he told me what my bill was, there were people behind me and I was too embarrassed to say anything. Bottom line, this place takes advantage of people, I understand the caramel might be made in house, but you need to warn people 1 small piece might be over $30.00 Door County Confectioners right down the street They're 1/2 the price and just as good.

I LOVE this candy shop! The owner is SO sweet, and it has every candy you can think of. We had so much fun walking around and finding candies and trinkets we hadn't seen since we were younger. We went in December of 2022, and it felt like we were in a Christmas time movie. It was amazing!

Many greenhouses filled with all those of plants. They have humongous hanging plants. Also, they have a gift shop that includes outdoor fountains and planters. Great stop!

We got all the flowers we needed for our wedding at a great price and absolutely gorgeous nice job

Great place to check out what’s going on in the harbor. Easy access off the main road and plenty of space to park.

Bullhead Point is one of the best places to paddle in Door County! The water here is calm and glassy almost every day… the point naturally shelters you from the chop, making it perfect for kayaking or paddleboarding. On clear days, you can even see three incredible shipwrecks right below the surface - it’s like gliding over a piece of history. The easy launch and peaceful setting make it an ideal spot for beginners and seasoned paddlers alike. If you love exploring quiet coves and calm waters with a little adventure mixed in, Bullhead Point is a must-visit!

Nice views for a quick visit. Great spot to launch your canoe or kayak with the grat launch the have.

Little park that allows access to the bay. Great view of the shipyard. Was only able to see shipwreck from the air. Having a kayak or boat would be beneficial

Nice place to park the jeep or ride your bike. We love watching the boats moving by and viewing the the Amazing ship yard across the water. Great area to bring your kids fishing. It has a very nice Kyak Launch for people in wheel chairs (New in 2022) plus some ship wrek history as well.

Great views of the bay. A lone picnic table in the shade for a nice lunch. Historic signs tell about the many known shipwrecks in the area. If you are hoping to actually see a shipwreck, however, the odds are not in your favor. They are deep and the water is dark. But it's worth checking off your list if you are in the vicinity.

My boyfriend and I decided to stop here on our way back from up north and it was a great idea. The museum is smaller and great for two people to walk around in. The exhibits were very different and unique and we really enjoyed reading up on the artist who founded the place too.

Patty McNamara's exhibit was so lovely. Her style with watercolor makes her pieces come to life. The other artists represented in the gallery were beautiful in their own right as well.

A small but impressive museum tucked away in back of the library. The current exhibit contains several works by the super talented artist Henry Payer. Many of the pieces are for sale.

I'd give five stars except that the entire upstairs permanent collection was taken down so they could set up an art sale! We were meeting people and came early at opening time to see more before they arrived. We looked at the small gift area and totally enjoyed the fantastic James Ingwerson retrospective. I still think this is a wonderful place, and such an asset for the community.

We went to see our friends exhibit, Ellen and Karsten Topelmann. The Library is beautiful. The Miller Art Museum is located in the library on the ground floor and is free. Donations welcome. The exhibit was so well done. Interesting articles next to each piece of art by Ellen or Karsten. Their son, Lars made a beautiful video of his Dad. Worth seeing.

We stopped here for the wine tasting. We were a little confused on where to go at first because there’s also a bar outside, which was playing loud music. Inside the main building, we were able to locate the wine tasting. There was an amazing selection, something for everyone and the prices were great as well.

Everything is fantastic. I don’t even live far away and I got so many things for me and more to send home to my family. Wonderful people, fantastic prices, and most of all the stuff here is so beautifully lovely and so special. Go!!! 5 free wine samples :) I actually only needed 3, I got a quick surprise favorite on #2 (Cranberry Mule—ingredients I never usually go for). Try the cherry and blueberry balsamic… the vanilla fig would be so good with ice cream… the fudge is incredible… well, I’m happy I don’t live too far, is all I have to say.

8/21/25 - My wife and I have visited several of the wineries in Door County but this one is our favorite! We always start with the free wine tasting (usually 3-5 flavors) and then find something new that we want to buy a bottle of while also grabbing some old favorites. They also have free tours throughout the day. There's also a distillery attached, where you can try the spirits for $2 each. They also have a section of the store where you can sample Fat Louie's infused olive oils and balsamic vinegars. On the outside, there is a large covered patio to hang out on - with a smaller bar area

Free wine tastings, quantity discounts and great wines. Chocolate cherry was an outside favorite as was the lighthouse white! I could have done a lot of damage but showed restraint. Loved the fudge and cheese as well! SIL came for the Bat Shit Bourbon!. If it hadn't been raining, I would have looked for for chairs and a table outside and spent a while!

A wonderful spot to learn more about the winemaking process and sample some innovative wines. I really enjoyed the free tour of the facilities and learning more about the winemaking process. As someone who usually prefers bourbon, I was pleasantly surprised that there was a bourbon barrel wine to sample. It had a stellar and familiar flavor. The staff here are very friendly and approachable, especially the tour guide I had. I enjoyed talking to them over free samples of wine, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, fruit butters, and various dips. I ended up spending about three hours here and it was one of my favorite parts of a two-week road trip. Graham and Louis will take good care of you at the bar, they made great, well-informed recommendations for me to try while being personable and fun to hang out with for a while. The distillery and winery here are exceptional, but the staff here somehow elevated my experience 10 times as much. Kudos to all of you and keep up the great work, I am happy to recommend Door Peninsula Winery!

This is a must stop place to visit in Door County. They must have fifty different flavors of wine, including quite a few interesting combinations. The Blackberry Merlot is an example. Merlot flavor, but unexpectedly has a very light body. They offer five complimentary samples (very generous portions) & suggest other samples based on what you like. This leads to new flavors you may not have considered. They also have a gift shop in the old schoolhouse area with fudge, popcorn, cherry salsa, different hot sauces, & a bunch of kitchen knickknacks. They have really built it up into an nice, upscale place.

Great time ! Not crowded,good weather. Stayed at Somerset Inn and Suites in Ephraim. Nice ,clean great beds,nice outdoor pool area and indoor pool too. Nice fire pit and grill area,play area for kids.Front desk people were friendly and helpful. Great location. Reasonably priced, would definitely stay there again.

I’ve been there several years now and it is by fair my favorite winery. They have a great selection of wine and each one has a wonderful flavor. Their building and grounds are just picturesque. We enjoy sitting out on the deck and taking in the scenery. Always so happy to be here. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I always appreciate being here with the great people, flavorful wine, and the beautiful scenery. We’ll be back next year and look forward to seeing it again:-)

Stopped by for the first time! Staff very friendly, wines delicious and reasonably priced tasting! They have a wide range of selection for every wine palate. The back porch is beautiful, great for sharing a glass (or bottle!) while looking out over the beautiful grounds. You can build your own charcuterie board! Stop by you won’t regret it!

Winery in name but gift shop has quality glassware. And now there is an automated quality whiskey dispenser. So do not search for just cheese and cherries, among the wines may be a find for Old Fashion, after all it’s Wisconsin.

We had a blast with the hostess who gave our tasting. We live in Texas, have our own vineyard, and even though Simon Creek scored their grapes from elsewhere, their American Chardonnay had to be one of the best ever. Their Viogner was awesome. Would definitely visit again and experience what they offer.

Simon Creek is three miles outside of Carlsville down a side country road in beautiful farm country. The atmosphere is nice, though the place is starting to show its age. For example, the driveway is now a washboard gravel road & the bathrooms really need to be refreshed; the wood needs major refinishing. There used to be a vineyard out front when you drove in, but now that's gone. Their wine is excellent. The Door County Cherry and Untouchable Red wines are unmatched by any other winery. The staff is pretty friendly overall. The really odd thing they started doing, which really spoiled the visit, is they now require everyone to register and get a pass at the front desk upon entry. The pass is used at every step of the way & is closed when purchasing & checking out. Who wants to have to register & get a pass just to look around, sample their wine, & purchase some wine. Who wants to have every step of the visit tracked? Very weird. A completely different experience from the big winery just down the road in town. We've visited several times in the past & have never had to register; then it was very casual. We refused to register & were able to buy some wine anonymously, but we weren't able to sample any wine. It was weird enough that I truly doubt we will go back.

This is by far our favorite winery! They have now added Whiskey and Bourbon pour tastings via credit card. Staff is so friendly and we will be back every year! Their prices are very reasonable. Top of the shelf for all.

My favorite winery in Door County. They don't allow trolleys any more. So it's quiet, and you get a more personal tasting of wines. Employees are so welcoming and helpful.

Didn't go on tour, but, saw a group of kayakers going into sea caves without any helmet protection?? Thought helmets were always required...lake was rough and windy with big waves????

Park was nice, but the welcome center was closed that day, our fault for not checking. Personally don't think this park is as welcoming to bikers as some of the others.

Very fun kayak tour with jake our tour guide. We did the sunken ship and cave tour. Jake even took pictures of us in our kayak and sent them to us. Highly recommend!

You HAVE to do this!!! The weather was perfect and our pics don't do this adventure any justice. Simply amazing and I can't wait to go again. Ask for Chris H. He was our kayak guide. He was fantastic!!!! With his information and history, he took us on an Awesome journey. You will not be disappointed! 5 STARS!

Go here! I can't express this enough! Take your dog and be prepared to walk almost a mile to the dog portion of the beach though. Loved the super soft sand, the water swim notices and the safety station with the life jackets. Spend a day here with your family and cook out! There are other walking trails and a ranger station that is minimally attended. Lots of good information and exhibits there as well. I just loved this too!

Had a great kayaking tour. Chris was a fantastic guide, lots of fun, little bit of a workout, but worth it.

Really awesome small quiet garden. We really liked the yellow peonies, peach irises and the fairy garden. On a nice day you could have a picnic here at the large table and let the kids run around the 'toad abode".

This is a hidden gem in sturgeon bay. No crowd whatsoever you can take as much time as you want. Free for all. It was a beautiful garden some of the plants and trees were not blooming but that is because of the weather/season so a perfect time to visit would be spring when most pf them are in full bloom. It is not a big garden so don’t worry if its a little sunny. You will be done in 15-20 minutes.

Wonderful, free botanical garden in Sturgeon Bay. It's fairly small, but there are lots of plants and flowers, well maintained walking path, and different features including a human sundial (it was accurate), vegetable area, succulent wall and pond. We really enjoyed walking through it. It was not crowded - a couple left as we arrived and another arrived as we were leaving. Saw a couple bunnies and some butterflies. A nice break from the more touristy things.

A small but beautiful garden, a real hidden gem. If you love botanical gardens and are in Door County, you should definitely stop here.

Quaint and peaceful! Well kept and knowledgeable people helping. They even have classes to help others. A great variety of plants and flowers. Very enjoyable to get out and stop on your way to Door County.

Ambiance: 10/10 Wines: 7/10 Service: 10/10 Wine slushes and pizza readily available… yum! There’s not a lot of indoor seating but for your warmer months there is a giant outdoor area to enjoy your flights with. I thought the wine was very good but none of it felt worthy to bring home at the time. I thought their pours were a little stingy for the price I paid too, but when in Rome I suppose! Great place to stop when you’re in that area.

Jennifer the owner is nice. The ports are wonderful and the pizza, delicious. The husband is a little gruff... but I think he's working on it. The outdoor area is nice as well.

Wine was good and the atmosphere was nice! You get a choice of 5 wine samples, as well as complimentary breadsticks and chocolate to go along with your tasting.

Local owners , nice couple , they have little glasses to taste wine in makes a big difference (my opinion) mmmmm! The flight was well displayed! Gift shop is very nice also ! Thank you Red Oak !

Could level up by using glass cups but the wines were distinct flavors/didn’t all taste alike. I liked the ice cider the best. If you like sweet I recommend that one. Staff was helpful. We arrived on a Saturday, no wait. Outdoor seating was nice, near the highway but wasn’t as loud as I thought it would be. $10 for a flight of small tastes.

With a wide variety of wineries to choose from in DC, on my first day up my wife and I stopped in to check it out and we are so glad we did. I bought a bottle Petite Pear, Marquette and two sweet whites for my wife. Neither red survived the first day and a half … so good. We decided to stop in again Sunday and reloaded. People were super friendly and helpful, and there was nice live music playing when we first stopped on Friday. Joined the club and will definitely make this a “must stop” each time we return to DC!

Really enjoyed the wines I picked for tasting. They had a large number from which to select. Staff were all friendly and we enjoyed the live music. My only feedback is that it would be nice to be able to purchase a glass of the cider instead of only being able to select as part of a tasting or to purchase by the bottle.

The owners share a passion for wine making and innovation and its refreshing to see in a market that can present itself as pretentious and exclusive. The 2022 Marquette delivered an exquisite mouth feel and was absolutely insane with flavor. Its clear they care about their craft! I wish we lived closer!!!

We really enjoyed our visit to Door 44 Winery. The facility has an excellent, clean layout for both large and small groups. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and prices are very reasonable. The wine is the star, as it should be, and it delivers! We went home with a couple bottles of each of our favorites. We highly recommend a visit while you're in Door County!

Claudia was awesome. We had a blast and found a few new favorites that we hadn't tried before. We would LOVE a shirt option to the white door label, it's such a cool design! we had the place basically to ourselves!

The most beautiful flowers. Was our 1st time to visit Sully's produce. We will never buy our flowers from big box stores or tiny little places with no varieties.

I was at Sully's yesterday and today. They still have plenty of beautiful flowering annuals and their herbs look fantastic! Both times I interacted with Char and she was friendly and helpful. So happy I stopped out and next year I will get out there earlier in the season for sure!

I like to support local business, but today I had a bad experience here. I did buy some nice produce so that's positive. The older woman in charge was quite nasty to an elderly woman customer and was also mean to the young adult employees. Maybe she was having a bad day? I've been a regular customer for years at Farmer's Markets and at the greenhouse. I know that Sully's is better than this, but the experience lowered my previously favorable opinion of this business. P.S. Sully's - you are selling Creeping Charlie (Jenny) as a bedding plant. This is an invasive species that quickly takes over beds and lawns in WI. It is also toxic to pets. I mentioned this to a friend who was horrified and suggested that you must not know. This is why I am adding this postscript to my original review.

I always enjoy the greenhouse in spring, the visits to the farmers markets and the produce stand when that opens.

Love hidden gems like this. If your in the area definitely consider stopping by, grabbing some produce, and dropping some cash in the ammo case.

Very nice place! Lots of space, great boat launches, a place to clean your boat too! Lots of places to fish from shore, bathrooms too..a covered area too if you want to relax and eat..

Fun little park to launch a boat or have a meal or grill out at, as they have a picnic area as well as public pit toilets as well as some area to walk around a bit and stream your legs. Getting there off the main highway following the brown signs was a little bit of a drag though as there a ways back but I think it was definitely worth the stop

Pretty hot and dry. Some say it's an excellent fishing spot, but we didn't find it very kid friendly. Mostly just a large parking lot overlooking the lake

I just love being by the water. But you can also go fishing here, launch a boat or whatever. I love walking into the tunnel there and sitting on the edge of the cliff across the street. Gorgeous views from up there!

I can remember back, prior to the renovation of this park, when it was just one boat launch and big shade trees. It broke my heart when they took those down and started this project but as time passes, I understand the need for a larger launch and harbor. This is a well-maintained park that provides historical context as well as utilitarian access to water for people as well as commercial fisher men. In addition, ample picnic areas and well-maintained bathrooms make it a great, usable space on many levels. Kudos to Door County for maintaining it so well!

We go there when in Door County we live in Menominee Michigan. The first time we ever stopped by there we was out for a ride on our Harley and took a few pictures that day that's the pictures with Melanie and I in them. Some times we take pictures sometimes just to look around at the site's. It's always clean and you can get some great pictures with family and friends. Here's a few pictures taken yesterday 9-28-19 and others time's we stopped.

My husband and I enjoyed Rogue's final performance in their Live Drive-in Theater series. Very humorous, with some tender moments as well. So glad Rogue came up with this brilliant plan to keep the County entertained during a very challenging summer!

Rogue Theater is truly a community theater by and for the community. They provide space for people to try their hand onstage with a variety of programs; comedies and dramas, interactive murder mystery dinner theater, children’s theater camp and holiday shows, as well as improv and vaudeville style shows. I personally have participated in several shows as a performer, a stagehand, a spectator, or a general supporter. I have seen firsthand Rogue giving proceeds back to community programs and championing food drives to support local food pantries. Rogue fills a space for everyday people to showcase their talents, all the while strengthening the community through camaraderie and generosity of giving.

Wonderful time at the Rogue Theater! The atmosphere fills you with joy and happiness. Thank you for the great memories and can’t wait for next season!

The Wisconsin motorcycle memorial is a really cool place to visit if you are any where near the area. The memorial has some very cool sculptures and a nice picnic table area if you want to enjoy some nice Wisconsin weather. A great park for anyone who enjoys motorcycles and wants to take in all that there is at the site. It’s worth a detour if you are any where near for sure.

Such a nice little place to stop and enjoy a picnic lunch! I love that people made motorcycle art and it’s here for everyone to see! It’s a little small and off a country road but worth the little detour.

Someone had a wonderful idea with creating this Motorcycle Riders Memorial. It does need some much needed TLC. Hopefully there is a Hog Chapter or another Motorcycle club near by that could ride up in their trucks with yard tools and give it the care it deserves. God's Peace and Blessings to all the families who placed names of loved ones there.

I was told about this place by my sister. She informed me that there was a stone for my daughter...I never knew, but it was sweet getting to see it. I'm glad somebody memorialized all the bikers, they have such a bad "stigma" which isn't true.

What a great find a memorial for bikers gone before… bricks and plaques with names and a pavilion for gathering

A nice park featuring prairie and woods, but the views are not as good as other parks on the peninsula. Also, other parks offer the option to drive through, but this one you can only hike. I appreciate that they have done conservation efforts like removing invasive species, and that it is well-marked. However, I think there are more scenic parks in Door County, like Peninsula State Park, Ellison Bluff, Potawatomi, etc. Bayshore Blufflands has one good view of Lake Michigan with bluffs in the distance. I marked it in purple on the map. There is one steep hill that I marked in red. I don’t think there were any bathrooms.

this is one of the most gorgeous hiking trails I have ever walked in my entire life. it offers both a gentle walk through a prairie-type area with spectacular views of the bay as well as a steep and invigorating hike up (or down) the bluffs. every hiking enthusiast should consider this park a mandatory visit if they are vacationing in Door County!

First part / turnoff grassland 2nd part steady climb through woods and overlook.

Such a calm, pleasant place to stop and stretch your legs after a long drive. 🌿 The trails are easy and peaceful, with beautiful bluff views and plenty of fresh air. It’s the perfect little spot to unwind, take a short walk, or just enjoy the quiet side of Door County before heading into town

Up to 2.5 mile trail with some really nice elevation changes. Trails are well marked. Path was a bit muddy.

A nugget of peace and quiet with scenic views and nice trails. If you enjoy nature and don't need to be entertained by modern distractions, you'll enjoy this spot. Wear good walking shoes and enjoy the hike. Trails are groomed well but you'll encounter some rocks, ruts, and roots.

Beautiful meadows. Steep trail on west side of the bluff. Mild incline on east side of park from Reynolds road to top of the bluff. Pretty flat on top.

Amazing trails for mountain biking most of the year, along with skiing and fat biking in winter! The trails are constantly being maintained and are getting better and better in terms of quality and new features being added! As of 2022, there is over 12 miles of single-track, along with jump lines, and a pump track.

Heard by word-of-mouth about this place for free snow bike riding wanted to try it out, so this is what I saw. Not all the bikes in great shape but found one that worked, I have to say I was a flop and almost fell off of it but will come back and try again. So generous that this owner has open this to the public, looks like lots of new trails and ramps and features are being worked on.

Well groomed trails that are thought out and fun to ski. Good set of climbs and decents. We skied there and we're very impressed with the trails. This really is a must stop for Nordic skiers. It's a private property so I'm not quite sure how the access works on a regular basis. We were up for a race.

Lots of time and effort going into these much needed trails in Door County.

This is a fun park. Took me a bit to figure out a good line.

Basic. But very usable for bikes skateboard and roller skates

It's great and fun. The skate bowl is deep, and the drops are fun to ride down. But one half of the skate parks drop go upside down so it it almost impossible to drop in there. The people who live around this area are nice but watch out for some of them.

This skate park is well managed and has a great community, the skate park has made me personally new friends and great memories everyone gets along together skaters,bikers,scooter riders, and even rollerbladers. This park was well built by dream works and designed by skaters so the park has a bunch of good flows,lines,box’s,rails, and hubbas the skate park always has something new to learn from different parts of the park from bowl,street,park lines

One of the best parks in Wisconsin. Built by dream works and has some really great challenging features. I skate here almost every day. I couldn't recommend more.

Kids first experience at a park. The kids there made my little kids feel welcome and congratulated them. Couldn't ask for a better experience, great people hanging out there! Hope to be back tomorrow.

Great views of what's going on in the canal. Of you're lucky, you can get spectacular views of freighters moving through. I was lucky enough to watch the Arthur M. Anderson moving through. Otherwise a fun place to boat-watch during good weather.

Fantastic little work with installed games and a refreshing go in rain you can feel your feet into during a hot day. Beautiful shore line to have a little hike.

Small but interesting park. You can play cornhole, chess, or ping pong. A fabulous fountain, lush landscaping with flowers, and superb views of the bay. A few benches. No restrooms.

Beautifully landscaped and games, ping pong and chest were just added to the park this summer (you get the playing pieces at The Spoon).

Nice little park right on the water in sturgeon Bay. Several restaurants within walking distance a great place to watch the boats pass up and down the channel. Only a minute from downtown.

A wonderful small studio showing the work of husband and wife team of Sandra and Wence Martinez. Sandra's artwork and Wence's expert weaving combine in gorgeous pieces that are truly unique. No wonder their works can be seen in Chicago and at the Smithsonian in Washington DC. They are true originals!

Stunning original work displayed beautifully in a working studio. The artists are your hosts and their hospitality is legendary. Door County is home, but their work is highly regarded on an international scale. Not to be missed.

I thoroughly enjoyed the layout of the Caplan studio. Nice dark walls that really make the their artwork pop. I also have some dark walls in my house and am considering a print to enjoy at home.

Laura and Mike are very talented. They are so creative and truly a pleasure to work with. Their studio is a "must stop" in Sturgeon Bay!

This was the most wonderful experience.. we had our senior dogs photographed. Mike was so patient with them (and us). I would recommend them to anyone..
