Park
Taman Gelora Kuantan is a picturesque seaside park located just 2 kilometers from the city center. It offers a variety of recreational activities such as jogging, walking, running, camping, and picnicking. The park features a scenic landscape with a jogging path, playground, and a pond adorned with water lilies. Visitors can enjoy the sea breeze and beautiful views of fishing boats passing through the clean waterbody.
I have never seen such a beautifully maintained park in Msia. The grass was cut, no rubbish in the pond, no leaves in the grass. I was there at 11am while the sun was shining hot but luckily there was a strong breeze to keep us cool. Lots of monkeys. The park is special because it is full of pine trees. And it is huge.
Tan T — Google review
The “sand loop” is around 1.5km. But you can can get more mileage if you run on the outer part of the track. Pretty cooling place to run because of the trees and the sea breeze. Morning run can be crowded but still can run. A lot of elderly folks doing their morning walk, run and exercise.
Wagner D — Google review
Taman Gelora and the nearby Tanjung Api are linked through pathed walkway. The locals come to Taman Gelora for breeze walks and group dancing/exercise. If you are into photography, Taman Gelora is the place for you. Here you can take wonderful shots during low tide or any time of the day. If you stroll pass the Methodist cemetry towards Tanjung Api, you will find yourself walking into the life of local fishermen busy preparing to set sail.
Cheong W — Google review
A beautiful seaside park. Pros: - clean, nicely maintained - such a scenic view; lake on one side, beach on the other side - equipped with playgrounds, toilets & outdoor exercise equipments - free and spacious parking Cons: - natural jogging tracks may cause inconvenience to those that not familiar with sandy tracks - crowded during the weekend & public holidays. - a little bit far from city centre

Nice place to Jog. Early morning lots of ppl dancing & jogging. Beautiful place besides beach. Tks to MPK

Peaceful vibe and has good exercising machines. A great place for jogging with spots to rest and really take in the view of the lake. Just watch out for those red ants. Overall, really chill place.

Scenic spot
Pantai Batu Hitam, or Black Rock Beach, is a stunning beach located just 4km north of Kuantan. Its most distinctive feature is the black volcanic-like rocks that line a section of the beach, varying in shades of grey and black. Despite the absence of nearby mountains, this beach boasts fine white sands and unique black stones. It's an ideal spot to appreciate nature's beauty.
A truly unique beach with its signature black rocks scattered along the shore! Pantai Batu Hitam offers a serene and wide-open coastline, perfect for a relaxing walk while collecting seashells. The contrast between the dark rocks and the vast shoreline creates a breathtaking view, making it a great spot for photography and nature lovers. With its calm waves and refreshing sea breeze, it’s an ideal getaway for anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of Malaysia’s coastal charm.
Zhi L — Google review
Really windy, setting up a tent is doable although with some difficulty. As the name suggests, its a beach with black rocks. The view is okay, the water is murky. You can swim but please do be careful. There are soke stalls nearby and a food court. Parking is plenty only if the stalls are not there. Public toilet is decent. Third time coming here.
Firdaus S — Google review
Pantai Batu Hitam is unique with its black stones along the shore, making it a nice spot for photos and relaxing. The beach is clean, breezy, and peaceful, with some stalls nearby for snacks. A good place to stop by with family or friends.
Rsydrsli — Google review
Water is very clear. Lots of crabs and snails on the rocks and sand. Spotted some small fish too. Have to take note that coming here during low tide is better, because during high tide the water hides much of the rocks. We had a great time adventuring and connecting with nature. (no critters were harmed, we returned them all to nature after handling)
Ichigo H — Google review
Went there on labour day. The beach isn't too crowded. Sand is unique as it's slightly black. Water was crystal clear. Saw that the beach cleaners were actively collecting trash on the beach. Overall, the beach is clearer than most beaches that I visited. 🏖️

Good spot for celup tepung in Kuantan, there are a lots of food option, the breeze was nice the view very stunning. Open parking available, quite huge area for parking. Will come again next time

Teluk Cempedak Beach is absolutely stunning! 🌊✨ The golden sandy shore, clear blue waters, and refreshing sea breeze make it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy nature. The beach is clean and well-maintained, with plenty of food stalls, restaurants, and local shops nearby. It’s great for families, couples, or even solo travelers who just want to enjoy a peaceful day by the sea. You can also spot monkeys around the area, which adds to the fun experience (just be careful with your food!). Whether it’s for a morning walk, a sunset view, or just soaking in the waves, Teluk Cempedak never disappoints. Truly one of Kuantan’s gems and a must-visit destination! 🌴☀️
AFZAAL N — Google review
The most beautiful beach in Malaysia because it was so clean and was maintained properly. You can find cafes with such beautiful views of the beach including hotels here. It's such a beautiful city with great views!
Aida H — Google review
It's one of the famous beaches in Kuantan. Not as crowded on weekdays, but to be honest, there are more beautiful beaches elsewhere (try Pantai Pelindung).
Justin ( — Google review
Woke up early to catch the sunrise but not early enough and miss it.. LOL.. beautiful beach with soft sand. A small crowd already there at 7.15am. They should catch the sunrise and they are already done with their photo shots of the horizon. Few popular shops around it such a McDonald's and Starbucks. Several food kiosk surrounding it as well. Need to park parking fee of RM2.50 per entry to park. Otherwise, you can choose to park around the perimeter roads.
Steven L — Google review
Visited during Public Holiday. Crowd but still enjoyed. Big area, clean beach. Mcd, KFC, Starbucks, 7-11, FamilyMart etc around walking distance. So many activities for children.

I haven't visited for at least 2 years. Nice to see the beach being kept up well. Happy to see a Family Mart and a Chagee pop up here.

Nice place for you to relax and enjoying the beach and sea view. This is the favourite spot for the tourist and local people. Lot of cafe and stall you can find along the beach i.e. Starbucks, Mcdonalds, Family Mart, Kupi TC, Foodcourt, Loteng Cafe and etc. Expect some crowd during weekend and public/school holidays.

Mountain peak
Bukit Pelindung, located just north of Teluk Chempedak in Kuantan, offers short hiking trails, a waterfall, and lush greenery for outdoor enthusiasts. The hill can be accessed from the road north of the Quarters of Pahangs Forestry. Hikers can navigate through the ups and downs while enjoying the natural beauty along the way. Some visitors express a desire for additional amenities such as a flying fox or chair lift to ease the descent after climbing up.
The best trail for orang kuantan! Either you are casual or experienced hikers you will enjoy the trail. The distance is aroud 3k up and down. Suitable to bring kids. There is toilet but last time its lock. You can choose easy route by road or more advanture slow and steady hike through the forest. But please keep safety first! Bring someone ya! Usually around 7am there already many people around especially in weekends. Happy hiking!!!

Teluk Cempedak is a serene beach destination that perfectly blends relaxation and adventure. With its tree-lined pathways ideal for leisurely strolls, this picturesque spot invites visitors to enjoy swimming in its clear waters. The area boasts an array of nearby restaurants and vendors, making it easy to indulge in local culinary delights after a day spent soaking up the sun.
We came around 6pm+. Paid for parking using TnG. There are McDonald's, KFC, and Starbucks by the beach. There was a boardwalk trail, but it is now closed due to safety reasons. Lots of monkeys there. Be wary of them, as one of the monkeys snatched away McDonald's ice-cream from my Mum. Other than the monkeys, this is a very nice beach, picturesque and reasonably clean.
Alshane — Google review
Beautiful beach with a nice view. many people were enjoying bubble toys and modern kites. The beach is clean and scenic. This photo was taken around 6 PM. Nearby, you’ll find McDonald’s, Starbucks, and KFC, making it a convenient spot for relaxing, family gatherings, and snapping some great photos.
Jehau T — Google review
A quiet beach with a peaceful vibe, but don’t expect too much. The area is still quite underdeveloped with minimal facilities. Some parts are clean, but there’s also visible litter in certain spots. Nice for a short stroll, sunset view or a picnic if you don’t mind the simplicity. Not really a swimming beach, more of a scenic chill spot. Could be a gem if properly maintained.
Haura L — Google review
the beach was very well maintained. It was safe and clean to take a deep. But maybe I went on a random weekend, school and long holiday will be packed.

Nice beach with nice sand. Quite picturesque. However it can get crowded during weekends and public holidays. Spend time to take a walk, chill in Starbucks or McDonald’s. Next to Hyatt.

It's a little away from town center but very popular place in Kuantan. Beautiful white sandy beach. There is a parking lot. Mc Donald's, starbucks are area facing. There is a family mart nearby.

Tak perlu pergi jauh untuk menghayati view cantek, dalam malaysia ada banyak hidden germ yang boleh cari and duduk hayati. I suggest to drive and find it, like how I keep come back here. Drive from KL around 4 or 5 am and arrive just nice around before 9am for you tuk cari breakfast at PEKAN and then come here to admire the view and you will find peace all of the stress from big city.

Menara Kuantan 188 is a prominent landmark in the city, standing at 188 meters tall and offering breathtaking views of Kuantan from its observation deck located at 92 meters. It is the tallest tower on the east coast and provides an unparalleled vantage point to admire the surroundings. The tower is conveniently situated near several attractions such as Kuantan Art Street, Taman Kerang, and the Kuantan Waterfront.
The observation deck offers a 360° view of Kuantan city, river and sea, with a glass floor skywalk for extra thrill. Nice view especially at sunset, but ticket price a bit high. Worth a visit once.
Izwan S — Google review
A place where you get the ultimate kuantan city view from. Mind pleasing landscape and cool fresh breeze will make you feel out of this world. I choose to visit there on a weekend at an afternoon yet did not have to wait at all. Let me rate this place in the following categories: 1. Tidiness: People working there keep the place tidy and clean. It is 5/5. 2. Landscape: On one side you see a developing city and on the other side you find a view that is worth a thousand visits. 5/5. 3. Staff: Super friendly and helpful. 5/5. 4. Dining options: 2,one at the ground floor, another at the 2nd floor below the rooftop. It is not allowed to take food on the rooftop unless arranged beforehand. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience.
Ashikur R — Google review
It's an interesting area, a lot of information about the royalty and history of Pahang were on display. Some binoculars are broken. I guess it's an okay place? I think if you have your own binocular or a love for Kuantan and Pahang in general, this is the place to be. Pictures taken from top of the tower
Shah O — Google review
Menara 188 has a nice view even from the ground, just walking around it. However, it gets very hot in the morning, so remember to apply sunscreen or bring an umbrella. I highly suggest coming here in the evening instead and enjoy a walk along the Kuantan River. There are many food places right across the street, so you can easily grab something to eat after a walk.
Stephen H — Google review
I've only been to Menara 188 at night — 2X for Iftar (each year) and 1X for the Merdeka countdown celebration. The view from the top is absolutely breathtaking. You can really feel the calm and spiritual atmosphere, especially when the Quran is recited during solat. The city lights, the gentle night breeze and the overall ambiance make it a peaceful yet stunning experience. The staff were very polite and attentive, which made the visit even more pleasant. However, the price you pay feels more for the view than for the food. The meals during Iftar and the Merdeka countdown were just "biasa-biasa". The taste was okay, but the variety could definitely be improved.
My M — Google review
Great value, we go on Friday evening between 6-7:30pm, we bought ticket by walk in, rm46 for indoor and outdoor deck, we took time to enjoy the sunset moment and take photos, souvenir is not Overpriced , weekdays seem like a great choice to visit if you can, coz we almost have the whole floor for our own.
Chiann W — Google review
Search "parking menara kuantan 188" please. Menara Kuantan 188 is a cool spot with a reasonable ticket price. You get a really nice view from the top, and you can even see the river. The staff are super friendly, and it's great that they have a surau and cafe on the ground floor.
Ummu A — Google review
1. The staff were really friendly and made the visit pleasant. 2. I found out you can actually get 15% off if you buy your ticket online through their official website — totally worth it. 3. I chose the Skydeck because the view is way better for photos. ✅ With MyKad on weekdays (Mon–Thurs), RM27 for an adult ticket. ✅ If you come on a weekend or public holiday, it’s RM36 for adults. 4. I checked out the Observation Deck too... it has binoculars, but honestly, there wasn’t much to see. I wouldn’t bother next time. 5. I took the Timur (east) lift going up — much better view from there. You get to see the Kuantan signboard, the mosque, and the bridge, which you won’t catch from the other side. 6. There’s no time limit once you’re up there, so you can enjoy at your own pace. 7. I’d suggest going around 6:30–7:30 pm — you get to see both the full daylight view and catch the beautiful Kuantan sunset. 8. For payment, they only accept QR, debit card, or Google/Apple Pay — no cash. 9. Shout-out to the slim male staff who was on duty as the chaperone at the lobby on 19 July, between 6–8 pm — he was super friendly and explained everything clearly. 10. Maybe the management could consider placing local staff at the Skydeck — currently, the guards stationed there are not locals.

Cendol restaurant
Dessert shop
Cendol Air Putih is a renowned spot in Kuantan, established since 1978. This cheerful yellow corner shop offers the beloved local dessert, Cendol. You can savor it plain or with various toppings like red beans, creamed corn, glutinous rice, or a mixture of both. The place tends to be bustling even during bulan ramadhan and is known for its delightful treats such as Normal Cendol with pulut and Durian cendol.
It has been many years since we last came here. Today, we came to Kuantan to visit our friends, and we met up with them here. While waiting for them, we ordered cendol and ABC for the first round. There were also stalls selling pulut bakar, nasi lemak, and other food. There were a lot of people, and we really enjoyed it
Qiuyi — Google review
Possibly the best cendol we had so far. Balanced taste, not too sweet. The green thingy is spongy and not overly frozen. Just that lately, it seem that the ice melted easily. ABC was not bad, too. Foods wise, not many choices. Mostly were Malaysian kuih and simple nasi lemak. More spaces for seats available now with the upstairs area. Services were good and fast. Prices were affordable.
Jia L — Google review
Great food and fast service. I had the nasi lemak and cendol campur during the afternoon which was magnificent. The sambal nasi lemak was decently spicy and the cendol complemented it especially with the hot weather. The ingredients in the cendol was quite a lot (a full bowl). There were many customers around as it was a top rated restaurant in Kuantan and during peak hours. There were other kuih muih like karipap and pulut udang available at the counter. Customers would need to order at the counter and make payment immediately after ordering. Price-wise, most of it was extremely cheap.
ABJ — Google review
Cendol Air Putih is definitely one of the must-visit street food spots in Kuantan. We tried the cendol campur— the taste was quite unique compared to other states, with a slightly salty twist that surprisingly works well. I believe the pulut cendol might be even better, though we didn’t get to try it this time. As for the other food, the pulut panggang and nasi lemak were quite standard, but the temosa stood out — the filling was different from what you usually get elsewhere, which made it worth trying. The only downside is the layout of the place — it’s a bit messy and can be confusing for outsiders when it comes to ordering and picking up food. There’s actually more seating on the second floor, but parking can be quite difficult. Still, it's a good local experience if you're in Kuantan!
Ong W — Google review
I use to take away. Don't want to wait long ...is a good try.. but it's very sweet hahaha . Once awhile can la. Just try. Cendol kacang Merah
Mina C — Google review
The BEST cendol. No colouring in it's cendol, soft and nice. The two guys who was doing the cendol were friendly. Pity them, only two guys serving the whole lot of business. I will return!
Lynn L — Google review
The cendol was nice, though I expected more given its reputation. Personally, I prefer Mustafa Cendol, but of course, that depends on individual taste. The queue was quite long but moved quickly thanks to the efficient counter team. Seating is available both downstairs and upstairs. There’s no air-conditioning, but the setup is still comfortable for enjoying a bowl of cendol.
WMA — Google review
Dropped by this place on a hot day to quench our thirst. We decided to come here after seeing its highly-rated reviews on Google. Definitely a local favourite and we can see why after tasting their cendol. Delicious, rich in flavour and not so sweet, generous portion of ingredients and reasonable price. We ordered Cendol Campur (with red beans and corn), Cendol Campur with Pulut, Temosa (currypuff with fish, coconut, and spices) and a normal currypuff. Crowded place, so seatings are a bit hard to get. We managed to secure a table nearby the counter but there are seats available upstairs as well. My only personal comment would be about the ratio of the cendol soup and the ingredients. They're unbalanced. I know that they're being generous with the ingredients but it's too much with one mouthful. You get quickly full but still thirsty. Overall, a decent place and recommended to try.

Beserah Beach is a charming stretch of coastline located about 8 kilometers north of Kuantan. The area is known for its picturesque sunrise views and the sight of large crabs scuttling across the sands at twilight. This old-fashioned fishing village offers a unique charm and romance, with opportunities to purchase fresh fish at wholesale prices and observe the production of local sea products like belacan, keropok lekor, and keropok leper.
We loved this typical village, far from the tourist circuits. We were admirably well received by a family of Chinese origin, owner of a café. We shared an unforgettable afternoon.

School Holiday.. Loves the beach.. Clean although the water not so clear.. But much much cleaner compared to Port dickson beach.. The community often clean the beach.. And not crowded like P. Dickson.. Feel really relax here.. Often stayed at Swiss hotel but its on major renovation.. So Staying at Adena resort chalet ⭐⭐⭐.. Clean toilet 👍.. Food 👍.. Can fit 4 adults.. Affordable price.. We choose all kedai makan tepi laut.. Dinner at Pak Su seafood (halal), Kopi Mesin cafe.. Lunch at Pok Awang celup tepung 👍near nelayan boat, The Mint cafe (favourite cafe) dah tutup terus (buang masa tunggu 2 jam) 😤 so we went to De Rhu hotel while bring my 3 children to the hotel pool theme park (thumbs up to the life guard really good).. I give 4 stars for beserah beach coz there are not much of sea shells anymore 😢.. And pls up grade tourist area.. More clean local food, western food, theme cafe near the beach.. It will bring more tourists to come here trust me.. 😎🏖️

Booked this place thru AirBnb, price super affordable than the hotel next door. The host place has 2 queen bes and extra tilam Love the view of the sunset. Close to places i planned to go.

Other than the fact it's a shared hotel between two companies, this place is the best luxury residence I've been to. Each room caters to your financial budget and the place is thoroughly clean and spotless. The reception is empty though and the hotel beside has a more 'lively' entrance but don't let this perturb you from having your stay here

Recently booked 2 bedroom size apartment. 1st impression was very good, very attractive environment with Seaview, unfortunately 4 of us can't sleep well through the night because of dirty!! We have no choice cuz midnight 1230am!!Bedsheets with hair, sofa with dust mass, sticky floor!! Believe that the house was not been properly housekeeping!!

Booked a room here at Imperium Residence through airbnb. Stayed for 2 nights. My stay here was very pleasant. View was beautiful, especially in the evening. Room and bathroom was very clean and instagrammable. It's a little on the pricier side, but it's worth it

I recently booked two rooms, each offering distinct experiences. Room 1: This was a city view room with a breathtaking night skyline. However, the air conditioner seemed to be broken as it did not cool the room at all. Thankfully, there was a well-functioning smart fan in the middle of the room that provided adequate cooling. The bathroom, unfortunately, had a drainage issue, as the water took a long time to flow through the drain after a bath. Room 2: This room featured a sea view with a balcony, making it a perfect spot to watch the sunrise. The design was quite similar to Room 1, though I forgot to take a picture. All the electrical appliances worked perfectly. Additionally, the car park was conveniently located right in front of our door, making it easy to move our belongings and access our car. Overall, the cleanliness of both rooms was impressive, the staff were friendly, and the location was perfect. Despite the minor issues, it was a great visit, and I would most likely return in the future.

TLDR: Was disappointed with the cleanliness, fixtures, 1 key card and threats of fines for the price paid. -- Location is close to town but not too busy. Communication with host was clear. Pool was good for families with young children. Shower pressure and temperature was good. Room was pleasantly furnished. Unit was not very clean (kitchen floor sandy, bedsheet stained, pots not clean, electic kettle oxidised). Room fixtures could be improved (TV has no channels, toilet cannot flush properly, shower drain partially blocked, bathrooms have no hooks for clothes, no hand soap provided). Only 1 key card (required for elevators) provided for room meant for 4 pax, so have to travel together or not at all. House rules threatened multiples fines, including for not tidying up dishes and throwing the rubbish away, even though we were also charged a cleaning fee. Development is very wheelchair unfriendly - steps at every lift and doorway.

The checkin n check out process was smooth.. the room cleanliness was below average i still find hair and dust.. should do the deep cleaning at least once a week.. but the view is perfect eventho there is no balcony.. u can see the sunrise from the room! Please bring along your swimming suit kalau tak guard akan halau keluar pool.. stay 3h2m tapi tak dapat mandi pool sebab tak bawa my swimming suit.. the parking pun dah disediakan for airbnb guest.. The best part is it located few min from bandar kuantan n teluk cempedak.. perfecf location for you to stay! N another thing is maybe host can add microwave in the airbnb for guest to use..

Stayed here for three days (booked through Agoda). Good and peaceful environment. The room was good besides the broken sofa bed and the broken shower holder. Had the view of the beach. Kind of far away from everything but great if you are looking for a relaxing stay for a few days. It was self check in. Just had to register with a guy at the front. Got the key from the specified locker and dropped it at the same locker when checked out.

Beach pavillion
Nestled in the stunning landscape of Bukit Pelindung, Teluk Tongkang offers an enchanting escape for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike. This hidden gem is accessible via a scenic Jungle Trail that showcases a rich tapestry of flora and fauna, making every step an exploration of the natural world. While some parts of the trail can be steep and slippery—especially during rainy seasons—the breathtaking views are well worth it.
A separate beach away to the north of Teluk Cempedak, to which it is connected via a pedestrian pathway bridge above the seaside rocks and by the side of the hill. Though it is isolated and has less tourists, the beach is not as golden as the former. The pathway provided a good view of seaside and the surrounding natural environment. Though, beware of monkeys which roam the bridge.
Chan K — Google review
Just a little walk(few minutes) along Teluk Tongkang Trail from Teluk Cempedak side you will reach this part of the beach-much quieter from teluk Cempedak beach side, nothing much here as in no shops or activities ard here but the beach i would say is more calm and more stones formation here, definitely good place for some good pics & family time👍🏻 But beware of of Monkeys! i mean lots of them!😅 They might snatch ur bags or anything loose on u Just park your car by teluk Cempedak and walk to to the left side of é beach and you will see this red colour trail-nicely maintained👍🏻 Wasn't that many people visiting during weekdays morning but I think it could get quite crowded during late afternoons & weekends👍🏻

The beach is clean and scenary is beautiful. There is also canopy walk to enjoy the beach view. Highly recommend to bring your family here to enjoy and relax.

Way of the beach, the natural decoration, water depth, views everything is ideal for visitors and for photography it's awesome. It's also very romantic if you are a couple and sitting at afternoon. Have an enjoyable day.....

Soft sand and rocks. Is connected via a pedestrian bridge. Scenic views.

Teluk Tongkang is the poor cousin of TC. No nice sandy beach, a few hundreds meters from the road, no shops or toilet. It is aka TC2.

Beach
Batu Hitam, also known as Black Rock Beach, is situated approximately 10 kilometers from Kuantan in Pahang. The beach features a combination of white sands and black volcanic rocks. It's an ideal spot for picnics with family or hanging out with friends. Visitors can enjoy swimming in the sea during non-rainy seasons. Despite some litter left by irresponsible individuals, it remains a great place to unwind and take leisurely strolls along its expansive shoreline.
We came here during perfect weather. Lots of parking. Sand is so soft, water is surprisingly clear. The rocks are good for exploring. Inside there's small fishes, different kinds of small crabs, and shrimp. Just be careful of slippery surface. To those who love bubbler crabs as much as I do - there are A TON here. Highly recommend this place

Coffee shop
Hai Peng Kopitiam, originally from Kemaman in Terengganu, has a branch in Kuantan that is equally popular. This renowned coffee shop is famous for its home-brewed coffee and Roti Kahwin, which consists of sliced toast with homemade kaya and margarine. It's a favorite spot among tourists due to its delicious food, great coffee, and especially the highly recommended Nasi Lemak Ikan.
Nice food and beverages, love the cham & coffea. Nice decoration and wide space that you will feel very comfortable enjoy your meals.
Yu Y — Google review
It's obviously a tourist place. Compare to the kemaman shop .. quality of this is wayyyyy worse. They need to buckle up on their foods and drinks. Nasi dagang was not even on-par, drink was too diluted. Only roti Bakar bun was decent, added enough of kaya. Overall, it's overpriced. But if it's good, customers won't mind paying.
Purple D — Google review
Pulut panggang, toasted bread and fried kuey teow taste good. Hot coffee not hot. The waitress about to throw my coffee without my consent when I went to wash my hand. This need to be improved- to have a courtesy to ask
Rin — Google review
we came before seeing all the reviews. Had our breakfast here at 7:40am. There was no customer so service was fast for us. We both had roti cahaya bulan. Food taste was okay standard kopitiam. Including drinks costed us RM26
Arissa N — Google review
We were served by three different waitstaff, and unfortunately, all three brought us the wrong order—a total of 6 times. For a renowned kopitiam, this level of service was deeply disappointing. It's like they didn't have a ordering system and none of them could tell what we actually ordered. We arrived all the way from JB with high expectations but were met with the opposite experience. By the 6th mistake, we were too tired to keep correcting them. It’s worth noting that there were only four occupied tables at the time, well outside of peak hours. We were just glad the coffee is still good as it was 10 years ago.
Harith Z — Google review
Kemaman Hai Peng now in Kuantan! A branch of Kemaman Hai Peng, now Kuantan people no longer need to travel to Kemaman to eat their delicious sardine spaghetti & of course roti bakar with a cup of coffee. A huge & comfortable space, and have varieties choice of food & drink
Noorzafirah S — Google review
Everytime they sent an order, there will always be errors. Even after asking me what I ordered, they still sent the wrong order. Y'all working here for how long? so noob lah. Repeated the mistake 6 times. Not acceptable. Hai Peng Kopitiam is well known but the staffs here are dragging it down. Seriously, get better workers lah.
Zikry Z — Google review
So disappointing, to be fair, did not even taste the food. Arrived at the restaurant with only 1 person sitting on 1 table eating and another table occupied by their staff. I went in and their packed Nasi Lemak and other snacks were displayed in a plastic container and it all looked so stale. After that, we just walked straight out. Very disappointed … owners should fire all the chef and refresh this place else you will continue to suffer.

A fabulous bay like beach where the waters is calm, waves are not very strong and the scenery is great. Water is clean and great for swimming. The whole beach stretches long and wide and one end is a beautiful estuary with the Cherating river

Fun to explore the beach during low tide. Many marine life. Sad to see trash discarded at the beach intentionally. Parents should ensure no plastic toys left behind and discard the toy packaging in the bin. Some of the trash include plastic disposable cups and plastic spoons for ice-cream. Let's do our part to keep our beach clean. And also please leave the marine life alone. Do not tease them and throw them in the air.
