Nestled within a serene nature preserve, the Sungai Pandan Waterfall, also known as Panching Waterfall, is a stunning multi-tiered waterfall that offers visitors an idyllic escape. This hidden gem features a natural swimming pool with shallow waters perfect for children to splash around in. It's an ideal spot for a leisurely picnic or simply soaking up the beauty of your surroundings. Nearby vendors provide delicious food and unique souvenirs to enhance your visit.
My experience at Sungai Pandan Waterfall was very good. One thing I really liked is that the water is shallow near the waterfall, so kids can enjoy it safely. There are also slightly deeper areas (less than one meter) near the entrance for adults to swim. The toilets are clean and well-maintained. I recommend visiting on weekdays, as the place gets very crowded on weekends.

Nestled in the heart of lush greenery, this stunning multi-tiered waterfall offers a refreshing escape into nature. The cascading streams over the large rock formation creates and soothing visual, and the natural pool below is perfect for a cool swim on the hot day. But on weekday, this waterfall still crowded with the people.

Great recreation spot for families and friends of all ages. Open from 9am, so be sure to come early to get the best picnic spots. Plenty of parking available and the facilities are well maintained. The changing rooms/shower area can be improved though. It would be nice if they can add the shower rooms bcs it can be a bit packed in there

What an amazing place. These are the best waterfalls that I have been to.in Malaysia. So clean, refreshing, deep and breathtakingly beautiful. This is a must visit place if you are in or near Kuantan. We drove from Cherating and it was so worth it. Malaysia 🇲🇾 Truely Asia 🌏 💖 We.will be back again soon insha'Allah

A refreshing gem en route to Kuantan! Sungai Pandan Waterfall is a perfect pit stop for nature lovers. The area was bustling with locals enjoying picnics, while only a few tourists had found this hidden treasure. The river is clear, with small fish darting between the rocks—dip your feet in for an instant cooling sensation. We even spotted mushrooms and Dipterocarp trees, adding to the richness of the forest vibe. A rejuvenating break that’s worth the short detour.
ST Y — Google review
Its a wonderful waterfall to just sit under the cold falling water. Water was clean and freshly cool. Not many visitors during weekday and so we managed to sit around near the edge of the water. There are many small fishes in the water. Becareful of the slippery stone. The entire park was kept clean and there is only 1 drink stall opened. The toilet just built and it was clean. Big land area for parking. Will definitely visit again if we go to Kuantan.
Sharin S — Google review
Lovely waterfall, there’s an entrance and parking fee. A toilet is available to change your clothes and wash up. The waterfall’s rushing water was a therapeutic massage and soothing to the ears. A really scenic place to enjoy a day trip out from Kuantan.
Amos S — Google review
It is a beautiful, multi-tiered cascading waterfall that flows down large, natural rock formations, surrounded by lush green tropical rainforest. It is known for its wide and dramatic wall of cascades. The water is generally clear and cool.

Park
Taman Gelora Kuantan is a picturesque seaside park located just 2 kilometers from the city center. It offers a variety of recreational activities such as jogging, walking, running, camping, and picnicking. The park features a scenic landscape with a jogging path, playground, and a pond adorned with water lilies. Visitors can enjoy the sea breeze and beautiful views of fishing boats passing through the clean waterbody.
I have never seen such a beautifully maintained park in Msia. The grass was cut, no rubbish in the pond, no leaves in the grass. I was there at 11am while the sun was shining hot but luckily there was a strong breeze to keep us cool. Lots of monkeys. The park is special because it is full of pine trees. And it is huge.
Tan T — Google review
The “sand loop” is around 1.5km. But you can can get more mileage if you run on the outer part of the track. Pretty cooling place to run because of the trees and the sea breeze. Morning run can be crowded but still can run. A lot of elderly folks doing their morning walk, run and exercise.
Wagner D — Google review
Taman Gelora and the nearby Tanjung Api are linked through pathed walkway. The locals come to Taman Gelora for breeze walks and group dancing/exercise. If you are into photography, Taman Gelora is the place for you. Here you can take wonderful shots during low tide or any time of the day. If you stroll pass the Methodist cemetry towards Tanjung Api, you will find yourself walking into the life of local fishermen busy preparing to set sail.

A beautiful seaside park. Pros: - clean, nicely maintained - such a scenic view; lake on one side, beach on the other side - equipped with playgrounds, toilets & outdoor exercise equipments - free and spacious parking Cons: - natural jogging tracks may cause inconvenience to those that not familiar with sandy tracks - crowded during the weekend & public holidays. - a little bit far from city centre

Teluk Cempedak Beach is a conveniently accessible seaside spot located near Hyatt Regency Kuantan Resort. It offers a pleasant promenade with numerous dining establishments, eateries, and street vendors in the vicinity. This family-friendly destination boasts a stunning shoreline adorned with coconut trees and provides an ideal setting for leisurely walks. The beach's allure is further enhanced by its picturesque sunsets, which are truly captivating.
Teluk Cempedak Beach is one of Kuantan's most famous beaches. Known for its golden sands, clear waters, and unique rock formations, it's a perfect spot for watching the sunrise and taking photos. The beach is well-equipped with convenient walking paths and a variety of dining options, making it ideal for relaxing and family outings.

Teluk Cempedak Beach is absolutely stunning! 🌊✨ The golden sandy shore, clear blue waters, and refreshing sea breeze make it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy nature. The beach is clean and well-maintained, with plenty of food stalls, restaurants, and local shops nearby. It’s great for families, couples, or even solo travelers who just want to enjoy a peaceful day by the sea. You can also spot monkeys around the area, which adds to the fun experience (just be careful with your food!). Whether it’s for a morning walk, a sunset view, or just soaking in the waves, Teluk Cempedak never disappoints. Truly one of Kuantan’s gems and a must-visit destination! 🌴☀️
AFZAAL N — Google review
The most beautiful beach in Malaysia because it was so clean and was maintained properly. You can find cafes with such beautiful views of the beach including hotels here. It's such a beautiful city with great views!
Aida H — Google review
It's one of the famous beaches in Kuantan. Not as crowded on weekdays, but to be honest, there are more beautiful beaches elsewhere (try Pantai Pelindung).
Justin ( — Google review
Woke up early to catch the sunrise but not early enough and miss it.. LOL.. beautiful beach with soft sand. A small crowd already there at 7.15am. They should catch the sunrise and they are already done with their photo shots of the horizon. Few popular shops around it such a McDonald's and Starbucks. Several food kiosk surrounding it as well. Need to park parking fee of RM2.50 per entry to park. Otherwise, you can choose to park around the perimeter roads.

Visited during Public Holiday. Crowd but still enjoyed. Big area, clean beach. Mcd, KFC, Starbucks, 7-11, FamilyMart etc around walking distance. So many activities for children.

Lot of cafe and stall you can find along the beach i.e. Starbucks, Mcdonalds, Family Mart, Kupi TC, Foodcourt, Loteng Cafe and etc. Expect some crowd during weekend and public/school holidays.

Embark on the Kuantan River Cruise for a magical experience in the heart of nature. The 1 hour 30 minute tour takes you through mangrove swamps, where you can witness enchanting firefly colonies hanging from the trees in the evening. This cruise also offers a unique perspective of Kuantan, showcasing traditional fishermen and lush mangroves along the river. The tour provides insightful commentary and opportunities to spot wildlife like crocodiles.
I had an amazing experience on the river cruise! The guide was not only incredibly knowledgeable but also kept the entire journey entertaining with interesting facts and stories. The scenery was beautiful, and the guide’s passion for the area truly made it special. I highly recommend this cruise to any tourist visiting Kuantan. It’s a great way to explore the area and learn more about its history and nature. Definitely a must-try!
Chee N — Google review
Went on it on labour day with a group of youngsters. To have the best experience, it's better to call them instead of straightaway going at the jetty. They'll tell you if there's a slot for you cuz it is group basis that requires a certain quorum. The driver was so engaging. Although we didn't find any big crocodiles but we all enjoyed the fun facts and ride up until South China Sea. Snacks, fruits and drinks were available in the ship. The surprising twist was the ladies get to learn how to steer the boat hehe. For Rm99, it's truly a one of a kind experience. Totally recommended! 😁👌

The evening river cruise experience was truly wonderful. Both my elderly parents and teen boys enjoyed the cruise. The tour guide, Mr Zainal, was engaging, informative and entertaining. He was also a good sport to let my special son try steering the boat for a few minutes which I am pretty sure left a lifetime of sweet memories for my son. His patience in trying to spot crocodiles for us to see and cheerful nature made the river cruising truly fun and simply awesome. As a tourist, I highly recommend this cruise operator for you to embark your river cruise journey with. 💫👍

Fabulous river cruise..the owner/captain was fabulous and very entertaining. There were 8 of us on the trip and he was sure to engage with all of us individually..we saw loads of wildlife including around 8 crocodiles of various sizes and lots of monitor lizards too. Went out to the sea afterwards and got to go and see a shop wreck too. Was such a great couple of hours. Lots of drinks provided and snack crackers, nuts and biscuits too.

Definitely a 5 star rating for this Kuantan River Cruise!! We brought our students from South Korea to experiance this river cruise, eventhough it was also the first time for us. Fortunately, Mr Zainal and his Team didnt disappoint us at all. In fact, I would highly recommend this package to all visitors, tourists and local residents alike. But, always look for Mr Zainal's package, and you would surely be satisfied!! We started our cruise at 4:30 pm, and the weather was very kind to us. After suiting up with a life jacket each, we were ready to go. Mr Zainal started his tour with a safety briefing first, before describing what to look for. The small korean children were so excited with the thought of seeing some life crocodiles that they didnt realize one was swimming just parallel to our boat...and that was an awesome sight to behold!! After that, they kept asking for more, and Mr Zainal would expertly manouver the boat to all possible nooks and cranies where he knew we could find more. The koreans were very entertained by Mr Zainal's friendly banters and jokes, where he also displayed his vast knowledge of the subject matters, despite delivering them in his wicked sense of humor. The korean children were screaming with shocks and awes when the boat performed some fast and thrilling stunts. We were shown the various fishing boats docking by the side of the river and some background on the local fishing industry. We also managed to catch glimpses of the otters and mud skippers at the river banks. A speeding thrust towards the open sea was the highlight of the cruise, as the water was more choppy and the water was splashing on our faces!! But we didnt mind it so much, as the feeling was simply marvellous, and the views were spectacular!! On the last leg we noticed that a drone was flying very close to our boat, and knowing that our antics were being recorded made the korean children even more excited. It came as a pleasant surprise to us that a copy of the video taken by the drone was given to us at the end of the cruise. We arrived back at the Shahbandar Jetty at 6:00 pm, and everybody was smiling happily...Thank you, Mr Zainal and Team..
Sazali S — Google review
We went for evening cruise and took the private trip. Mr Zainal and team were very welcoming and friendly. The boat is well maintained and cosy. We managed to found a few crocodiles and otters. It was very exciting. Mr Zainal is knowledgeable and close with his community. We learnt a lot about the fishing industry in Malaysia. The kids also enjoyed the session a lot.
Ain R — Google review
Wow, what an awesome cruise and company. Our guide was hilarious and so enthusiastic. They did their best to accomodate a tour happening and at the last minute some other people confirmed and the tour was on. The fire flies completely blew me away, it felt like I was in the avatar movie. We saw around 7-10 baby crocs and a couple of bigger ones between 1 - 1.5 meters long. I highly recommend this company. Only thing I found sad was the amount of rubbish in the river, not a reflection on the tour company at all. Such a magical place here, really wish more people would work towards a cleaner planet. Definitely worth going on this cruise: we had the added bonus of a drone show at the end as it was a public holiday!
Kings C — Google review
Easy booking via WhatsApp, reasonable pricing (with discounts for msians). Nearly 2 hour boat ride up and down Kuantan River, excellent way to view the river and enjoy the sunset. Spotted some small and very shy crocs and a pretty eagle up close. Boatman (sorry forgot the name) and wife are the boat operators, very friendly and interesting explanations and intro of the wildlife and history of the river and banks. Boatman said night cruise might have better chance of spotting crocs so will try that next time!

5Kuantan Art Street

Kuantan Art Street, located on Jalan Taman in Kuantan, has become a popular attraction since its transformation in 2021. Visitors can admire the mural dedicated to Sudirman Arshad and explore numerous art stalls and coffee shops along the street. The area is well-maintained, offering a clean and vibrant ambiance for leisurely walks and family outings. On weekends, visitors can also enjoy browsing through the 'pasar karat' selling new and vintage items.
I enjoyed a peaceful stroll in the early evening, exploring the vibrant Kuantan Street Art. The area is filled with creative and beautifully crafted murals that showcase local talent and culture. With few tourists around, it felt like a hidden gem—perfect for a quiet, reflective walk and some great photo opportunities.
Suzalinna S — Google review
Spend some time to visit this street art in the town centre .. better to come before sunset or early morning to avoid the direct sun and heat. Quite a numbers of good 3D art from the artist and one can download their app to view the effects of 3D popping up on your screen. Parking not a problem during my weekend visit here.
PatTerrance L — Google review
A long stretch of wall art, and I love how they incorporated old, retro, and defunct electronics like TVs and radios to complement the artwork. Be sure to check out the left or right stretch when you’re at the junction, there’s some wall art there too!
Tan. W — Google review
Very interesting place with retro style painting along the street. But do remember to apply sunscreen and bring your umbrella if you come visit in the morning or afternoon. It's worth a visit if you come to Kuantan, most importantly it is FREE😆

What a place. This is the second time I have visited kuatan and the first time I saw these beautiful paintings on the wall. I like the 3D Paintings on Art street walls. When I was moving on the street it gave me a very pleasant feeling. Also some people I saw there keep on cleaning the surroundings and making the wall more attractive. It was awarded in 2022 for its excellence. Highly Recommended 👍👍👍
Pravin K — Google review
There are many big wall paintings that show local life and culture. It’s a great place to take photos and enjoy a nice walk. The street is clean and safe, and good for families and tourists. A must-visit spot in Kuantan!
Ahmed S — Google review
We had an amazing time and experience here. They even have painted foot prints on the ground to give you the position to take the photo.
Dhennver N — Google review
Our bus was scheduled to depart at 12:30pm, we had a few hours before that to play with in Kuantan area. We did like wall arts we saw in New York, Lisbon, and Penang. So we got interested in this art street as well. We arrived there around 10am, which was a lucky timing because our shadow is short and the photos turned out very realistic and we seemed blended in pretty well with each work. I loved the artists’ imagination here. Not only paintings themselves, but also they specified the spot where cameramen should stand by painting footprints on the ground. They also used actual stuff to make it look more 3D such as chairs, tubes on the wall, baskets, boats and etc. If you like illusional photo shoots as a hobby, I think this place is really fun. There is the Kuantan tower nearby. We saw very old phone booth in the area. A lot of cafe and restaurants are nearby, so even in a super hot day, you should be able to manage yourself not to get overheated. I think this is a very considerate tourist site, so we can easily focus on “having fun” part.

Batu Hitam, also known as Black Rock Beach, is situated approximately 10 kilometers from Kuantan in Pahang. The beach features a combination of white sands and black volcanic rocks. It's an ideal spot for picnics with family or hanging out with friends. Visitors can enjoy swimming in the sea during non-rainy seasons. Despite some litter left by irresponsible individuals, it remains a great place to unwind and take leisurely strolls along its expansive shoreline.
We came here during perfect weather. Lots of parking. Sand is so soft, water is surprisingly clear. The rocks are good for exploring. Inside there's small fishes, different kinds of small crabs, and shrimp. Just be careful of slippery surface. To those who love bubbler crabs as much as I do - there are A TON here. Highly recommend this place

The Esplanade serves as an active hub with various recreational facilities, making it perfect for families and friends alike.
A relaxing walk along the river, great for winding down at the end of the day. There are a few bikes and wheels here for rent. The pathway also leads you directly to the base of the 188 tower

A clean and beautiful esplanade, perfect for a relaxing afternoon stroll. Shaded by plenty of trees, it offers a cool escape from the sun. Popular with locals, especially those who enjoy fishing at the designated spots along the way.

Esplanade Kuantan is a lovely spot for both locals and tourists, offering a peaceful riverside atmosphere that’s perfect for relaxation. The well-maintained walkway along the river allows you to take a leisurely stroll while enjoying the scenic views of the Kuantan River. It’s also a great place for families, with seating areas and nearby food stalls offering local delights. However, it can get a bit crowded during the evenings, especially on weekends. One of the most charming aspects of the area is the nearby street art. The vibrant murals and creative artwork scattered throughout the streets near the Esplanade add a touch of color and culture to the city. These pieces showcase local talent, often depicting traditional scenes, modern themes, or aspects of daily life in Kuantan. It’s an Instagram-worthy spot that offers visitors a unique glimpse into the local culture. While you’re in the area, I highly recommend dining at Udang Celup. Their seabass celup tepung Restaurant is incredibly fresh, perfectly cooked, and delicious, all at a very affordable price. The portion size is generous, and the seafood quality is top-notch. It’s one of the best dishes I’ve had in Kuantan, and the casual atmosphere and friendly service only add to the experience. If you're a seafood lover, this place is a must-visit! Whether you're strolling along the Esplanade, admiring the street art, or enjoying a great meal at Udang Celup, Kuantan offers a blend of natural beauty, culture, and fantastic food.

Large and nice view of recreation park at kuantan..but always beware of wild monkey around lake..
AHMAD R — Google review
We have been having our morning walks here for three mornings in a row, during our recent soujourn in Kuantan. At first, we just wanted to try it and compare it with our Kelana Jaya lakes, but as it turned out to be quite popular with the locals, we eventually got hooked ourselves. Just like in Kelana Jaya, we started our walk early, at around 6:30 am. Eventhough it was still dark, we noticed a large crowd was already walking that sunday morning. The pathway was paved with interlocking blocks, but was slightly uneven at certain portions, mainly due to some overgrown tree's roots system beneath the pathways. Hence, we had to be quite careful not to stumble over the hidden cracks along the way. But the most surprising element was definitely the monkeys!! Located next to the forest reserve, this park is unfortunately swarming with wild monkeys, and their huge numbers totally shocked us. Eventhough none of them were posing any threats to the humans at the moment, but the sheer number of big and small families of monkeys tend to frighten younger children. I could observe that they were scavenging for discarded and leftover foods from the rubbish bins, while making a bigger mess in the process. If only the powers that be could maintain a better hygine and cleanliness level at the park, and employ more workers to keep the rubbish at bay, this would be a much safer place for family activities. I could see there were some paddle boats available for rental by the public, but the presence of the monkeys would definitely offer a stiff competition for the boats! The flora and fauna were the most positive aspects of this park. Beside that, there was a newly built basketball court and a netball court as well, which were patronized by the monkeys already from what I saw. There were sufficient carparking lots for the crowds to attend for local events and activities being organized here. We came across an empty foodcourt building which was only operating from 4:00 pm until midnight, and that was just a huge waste of space and opportunity, as the morning crowd didnt get to enjoy the facilities already available there. Again, another aspect for the powers that be to ponder...

Walking is great for our health and wellbeing. Walking in nature is great! This place exuduces calm and serene feeling. Bring your spouse and kids here and forget the hustle and bustle of day to day life.

Had our morning walk here and covered for 3km for 2 rounds of the lake. Be sure to arrive early (before 8am) so you won't miss the sunrise. Some path may look narrow, but giving ways to other ppl is a nice gesture. Think some areas should be cleaned up to maintain the areas. Will repeat! Do be careful of the monkeys too- sometimes they are a bit too friendly.

Really nice park with boat rentals. Many playgrounds for the children. Many cute rabbits and a nice walking path around the whole lake.

Nice place to go jogging. There is a playground n boat ride plus other attractions. UNFORTUNATELY.. 1. Place need repairs/upgrade 2. Proper drainage system needed at the playground 3. Pavement/inter locking bricks need repairs.

Teluk Cempedak is a serene beach destination that perfectly blends relaxation and adventure. With its tree-lined pathways ideal for leisurely strolls, this picturesque spot invites visitors to enjoy swimming in its clear waters. The area boasts an array of nearby restaurants and vendors, making it easy to indulge in local culinary delights after a day spent soaking up the sun.
We came around 6pm+. Paid for parking using TnG. There are McDonald's, KFC, and Starbucks by the beach. There was a boardwalk trail, but it is now closed due to safety reasons. Lots of monkeys there. Be wary of them, as one of the monkeys snatched away McDonald's ice-cream from my Mum. Other than the monkeys, this is a very nice beach, picturesque and reasonably clean.

Beautiful beach with a nice view. many people were enjoying bubble toys and modern kites. The beach is clean and scenic. This photo was taken around 6 PM. Nearby, you’ll find McDonald’s, Starbucks, and KFC, making it a convenient spot for relaxing, family gatherings, and snapping some great photos.

A quiet beach with a peaceful vibe, but don’t expect too much. The area is still quite underdeveloped with minimal facilities. Some parts are clean, but there’s also visible litter in certain spots. Nice for a short stroll, sunset view or a picnic if you don’t mind the simplicity. Not really a swimming beach, more of a scenic chill spot. Could be a gem if properly maintained.

the beach was very well maintained. It was safe and clean to take a deep. But maybe I went on a random weekend, school and long holiday will be packed.

Tak perlu pergi jauh untuk menghayati view cantek, dalam malaysia ada banyak hidden germ yang boleh cari and duduk hayati. I suggest to drive and find it, like how I keep come back here. Drive from KL around 4 or 5 am and arrive just nice around before 9am for you tuk cari breakfast at PEKAN and then come here to admire the view and you will find peace all of the stress from big city.

Chinese restaurant
Alor Akar Seafood Restaurant is a popular dining spot in Kuantan District, known for its variety of seafood and traditional Malaysian Chinese style dishes. The restaurant's signature dish is the Beggar Chicken, and visitors praise the delicious flavors and generous portions. The environment has a traditional Malaysian layout, offering a unique cultural experience. Despite being crowded at times, the food is served quickly, with favorites including herbal chicken and prawns in Portuguese sauce.
Our go to seafood restaurant whenever we are traveling to Kuantan. This round we made reservation for the herbal chicken, holy, the soup is the highlight, as for the chicken, it has been mushy due to the good news has been retained in the soup. Strong herbal, slight astringent, rich, chicken flavorful. Price is definitely on a good value skde, else we won't see the enormous crowd during meal time. Will come for other food next time, will consider to order crab in the future.

A restaurant that feeds a lot of locals around here. Parking is quite limited during lunchtime. The food is nice and decent. The Steamed Grouper is slightly fishy for me. The Vinegar Pork Leg is nice, but wish there is more meat. The Stir Fried Potato Leaves is nice, full of wok hey. The price is the star here. It costs only RM85 for all these, and also rice and tea as well. Which is a good deal for me. Would come again to try their Herbal Chicken for sure.
Edwin C — Google review
Recommended by our hotel for Chinese seafood. Went there on our 2nd day and the food was great! Generous with their food portions and price is very reasonable. Saw many locals having their meals there so will be good to go earlier to beat the dinner crowd that seemed to start from 6.30pm. Will visit again when in Kuantan!

All food order is delicious. The price is very reasonable. Begger chicken is finish when we reach in 730pm. So better come early or do booking.

Local zi char . Speciality herbal chicken , special sauce prawns . Only 2 of us so didn't order much. But the herbal chicken is enough for 3-4 person. Price average . Parking space limited. Advice call to reserve the herbal chicken if you wanna try. Other dishes can order at site. Friendly local uncle and aunties serving. Chef also local . Will come out and ask how is the food at times.
Isaac L — Google review
We came just before 6pm on a Sunday and the restaurant is slmost full. We came to try their famous bugger chicken but a tad disappointed. It is more of an "emperor chicken" aka herbal chicken profile in my thoughts. Taste of the gravey/soup is quite good and flavourful, but the chicken is quite tasteless and mushy. We tried a stirred-fry sweet potato leaves and a salted fish fried rice. Both are average. Lots of flies around but not an issue to us. Not a memorable one, but the service crew are fast, warmth and helpful. Good service.
Sam T — Google review
An iconic Chinese seafood restaurant in Kuantan. This place is famous for the beggar chicken, which is a herbal soup steam chicken wrapped in tin foil. Plenty of tables but crowd is there during weekend peak hours.
Allen T — Google review
We came here 2 days in a row for dinner. Love the dishes. Dishes that we have tried:- - Steamed tilapia. Fish was fresh, no fishy taste. - vegetables Nai Pak. Cooked to perfect crunchy texture - Salted egg crab. Crab was fresh, and the flesh was good. Meaty and succulent, with hint of sweetness - Kam Heong lala. Tasty, fragrant kam heong flavour with a hint of spiciness. Lala a little on the slim side, prefer a bit more bite to it, but overall still good for us as the flavour made up for it - sweet and sour chicken. Love this too. Texture of chicken meat was succulent and tender even though it was breast meat. Sweet and sour sauce was perfect for our taste buds We would gladly come here again for the 3rd night 😄

Puteh Beach Bar is a popular beachfront dining spot in Kuantan, offering a laid-back atmosphere and a wide selection of refreshing drinks. The bar prides itself on serving fantastic value meals made with fresh, high-quality ingredients and lots of love. Guests can enjoy great music while savoring their dishes. Visitors highly recommend the mushroom bruschetta and suggest visiting on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday to catch an exciting fire performance.
⭐ 100/10 ⭐ The ambience is absolutely lovely – cozy yet vibrant, perfect for a relaxing meal. The food was beyond expectations – rich flavors, fresh ingredients, and beautifully presented. From the creamy prawn pasta to the juicy burger with fries, every bite was pure satisfaction. On top of that, their attentive service made the whole dining experience even more memorable. Truly a place that delivers not just food, but happiness on a plate!

I was served by a Malay guy who was really nice and friendly. It happened to be my brother’s birthday, and the waiter politely asked if the staff could play a birthday song for us, which made the experience even more special. The food was absolutely delicious — we ordered the spinach & cream cheese pizza, Puteh nachos beef, and the Puteh signature mocktail. Everything was so tasty, and we truly enjoyed our time here.
Syasya F — Google review
The cooking was excellent, atmosphere was great with fire show, service was fantastic. If there was 7 stars, I would give it. Keep it up guys. Definitely will come back again 😊

Experience 2/5 • Service: Poor. The waitress couldn’t communicate in English and requested us to speak Malay, which made the experience less welcoming. • Food: Taste was average but prices were on the higher side. • Environment: The decor is nice, but considering it’s along the beach, there are plenty of other restaurant options nearby. • Drinks: Limited selection. No cocktails available, only bottle beer. Overall: The experience was below expectation. It felt more like a neighbourhood restaurant in terms of service standards rather than a beachside spot worth revisiting.
Ⓙⓞⓐⓝ Ⓛ — Google review
The culinary experience was suboptimal, with the speed of service being inconsistent. The mushroom soup, which initially appeared appetising, proved to be devoid of any discernible flavour, and instead possessed a peppery taste. The smoked duck was found to contain a number of undesirable sour flavours, a defect also present in the black pepper sauce. I was unable to resist bringing both items to the attention of the waiter for his opinion. When a complaint was made about the sour taste of the black pepper sauce, the response was simply the condiment cooked with water and flavour. The two plates of chicken cutlets were accompanied by black pepper sauce, which proved to be a source of dissatisfaction. The condiment was found to be excessively sour in one instance and excessively salty in another. The chicken cutlets themselves exhibited an absence of flavour, with the oil flavour being the only discernible taste. It’s surprising that a restaurant with such poor food quality can receive so many positive reviews. If customers and the catering industry tolerate such restaurants using this kind of food quality to attract patrons (putting aside the price — after all, it’s not worth it, and the food quality is terrible), then who would still bother to cook with care? Only suitable for chilldrink, don order the food. (The sudden breaking of the connector of table leg gave everyone a scare. Luckily no one is injure)

The best curry lamb I’ve ever had! The atmosphere is very comfortable, enjoying dinner with the sea breeze. In the evening, there’s even a fire show performance. Totally worth the price and highly recommended!

Although they have so many reviews, I believe the most of them are not genuine. Definitely a beautiful place for taking Instagramable pictures. But didn't like the vibes here. It felt like the staff were sales and target orientated, i certainly didn't feel the friendliness that other reviews states. Sitting on the wooden platforms is very uncomfortable as the entire floor shakes when people walk.

"An Unforgettable Beachside Experience!" This beachside gem is truly one of a kind! From the moment you arrive, you’re welcomed by a warm and inviting atmosphere, with the sound of the waves adding to its charm. Their selection of exclusive wines, handcrafted cocktails, and premium beers is simply outstanding — perfect for pairing with their diverse menu of Western and local dishes. Every dish we tried was beautifully prepared, flavorful, and served with a touch of finesse. What makes this place even more special is the live fire show from Thursday to Saturday nights — a spectacular performance that adds excitement and energy to an already magical evening by the beach. Whether you’re here for a romantic dinner, a gathering with friends, or just to unwind with great drinks and food, this restaurant delivers on every front. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience by the sea.

Zoo Teruntum, also known as Mini Zoo Park Teruntum, is a small yet charming zoo located in Kuantan, Malaysia. It offers a modest selection of animals including monkeys, ostriches, and crocodiles. This attraction is perfect for families with young children as it provides an opportunity for kids to learn about both domestic and exotic animals while having fun. The entrance ticket is reasonably priced and visitors can also enjoy the sight of huge dinosaur models with realistic movements.
A good place to visit, especially for kids. The place is also stroller friendly. My family and I completed the whole tour in 2 hours (3pm - 5pm) despite the place being a "mini" zoo, as there were quite a lot to see & take pictures with. It's not too exhausting to finish the tour. Definitely recommended.
Rafiqah M — Google review
The park is huge and has many live animals as well like a zebra, siamang, otters, crocodiles and deers. I think the price is appropriate tbh considering the park is huge, clean and quite well maintained. Almost all the dinosaurs move (with motion sensors im guessing) and my son really really enjoyed his trip. There are also playground for kids to play. I highly recommend a visit with your little ones here. Best part? its not crowded at all.
Lokey — Google review
In my 1st opinion, they should remove "zoo" from name. There only got few animals in their care. Anyway my kids love it, that's why I give 4 star instead of 3.
Bob K — Google review
Zoo Teruntum is a pretty good spot to hang out with the little ones. It's an easy place to get to with plenty of parking, and there's a nice mix of animals to check out. It's definitely worth going at least once, but honestly, it's probably not a place I'd come back to again.
Ummu A — Google review
Just a standard zoo. Entry price is ok range. Not that high, not cheap. Not many living animals inside. But the dinosaur statue/machine, theres LOTS of them in here. Can take many picture, and if ur kid like dinosaur then they will have good time. I arrive at around 11am. Not recommended to come at this hour. Its too hot, and this place not enough tree that cover surface. So u will feel the heat. Better come around 3 or 4 pm onward. No animal to pet (not a petting zoo). nevertheless do come and support this zoo so that they can upgrade ya
Cashulz ( — Google review
Unfortunately, the visit didn’t feel worth the ticket price. I bought a 100 Plus drink inside the zoo and was shocked to find it priced three times higher than at local stores. The animal variety was quite limited, and the dinosaur section appeared run-down and poorly maintained. If you have other options for attractions, I’d recommend going elsewhere. Visiting this zoo might only appeal if you’re truly out of alternatives
Ts.Hasrul F — Google review
Despite the not-so-good review, I feel it is still a decent place to bring kids if you run out of ideas of what to do in Kuantan. We spent 1.5 hours in the park just taking pictures and exploring, the park is clean and can be quite hot if you come in the afternoon. Remember to bring a hat!
Michelle C — Google review
Great places especially if you have kids, most of the dinosaurs could move which adds more to the realism. There are also some other animals as well, all of them are cute. But I noticed there's no live shows and some of the tourism visits are closed.

Becareful to new hikers.. Major construction at 1.0km onwards. Iron rods and steels on pathway side. Be alert as 4wheels cars/motorbikes passing thru more frequent than usual due to construction. Make sure your shoes/boots are durable as road might get slippery from sands/mud and also recent wet weather.

There are various trails found here such the Tasik Trail, Trail 1380, Covid Trail, De Embassy Trail and a simple trail from Teluk Chempedak leading to a mini waterfall. Bukit Pelindung comes alive especially on weekends and trekkers begin the tarmac walk as early 5.30 am.Night trekking is also gaining popularity among Kuantan folks in Bukit Pelindung. Restoran T & L is a must-visit spot in Kuantan, especially for those who appreciate local flavors. This bustling eatery offers a variety of dishes that cater to different tastes, but the standout items are undoubtedly the grilled fish and chicken wings. Diners rave about the grilled fish being one of the best in town, with its delightful taste and reasonable pricing making it a favorite among locals.
The best nasi lemak in Malaysia. Tastes exactly the same since 20 yrs ago. Must try! Sold out really fast too.

Went for dinner after reading Google review. Overall the food is average. The Char Keow Teow at night was very disappointing, tasteless. The Mee curry, Crispy Popiah and Hong Kong Chee Cheong Fun were good though. No problems with parking. Ambience is a typical local food court environment. Nothing extra special.
Reva S — Google review
Despite its popularity on the internet, I find it hard to understand why. The main attraction here is clearly the grilled fish or ikan bakar. We tried the most recommended one which is the leather jacket filefish (or peeled fish as the ikan bakar uncle described in Mandarin). While it indeed had succulent meat which was tasty esply w the lime & shallot condiment, the veges were unfortunately burnt (despite looking normal). Other stalls are a haphazard combination of HK Chee cheong fun, popiah, prawn noodle, claypot, stew pork, rojak, pau and nasi lemak. We also had the prawn chee cheong fun which was an utter disappointment. Dry prawn mee sounded interesting, the soup was steeped deep w flavours, v tasty indeed. But the noodles was just a sad dry yellow mee without much vigor.
May C — Google review
I have been here at night and it is was overall yummy selections but today I walked-in by chance in the AM. I think it was just the kopitiam and one stall operating. The stall served a rather hearty chicken noodle soup. I opted for dry mee - kuey teow as usual and with a single portion of white chicken. To my surprise, the large sized dry noodle serving was quite decent with good flavour and the chicken portion was tender with good coat of his delicious sauce which had good texture and aroma of fried garlic and onions. I parted with seven notes of mine which I did contently for having so much value for so little dough. Guys, try em. Sorry no photos as the review was an after thought, as I was starving looking to fill up.

A classic Kuantan hawker center. Their Nasi Lemak is one of the best in Kuantan, their lok lok is pretty decent too. Kuey Tiaw Goreng is good as well. Rojak is very good, the aunty selling the rojak is very nice as well, once i asked for extra taufu and she gave it to me without additional cost, ofcourse dont expect that just because i got it lol. Obviously non-halal, baru sdap. (Nasi lemak might be halal but there is no jakim certification)

Service was prompt. Table cleaners was fast and attentive. Atmosphere was as expected from a hawker setup, hot and abit stuffy. But the food was good. Taste got wokhei feel to it. Prawn was big size and fresh for my experience. Portion was kinda big despite its called normal size here. Pricing was rm8 per plate

It is a hawker food center recommended by local people. We tried most of the food there, price is reasonable. Should try grilled fish but need to wait 30 min. Parking is quite limited.

Please, just get the famous grilled fish, and the chicken wings. Other than the 2 legendary stall, the rest are just ordinary for your main course. Famous Grilled Fish, the taste is definitely the Top 1 in Kuantan. Pantai Batu Hitam, or Black Rock Beach, is a stunning beach located just 4km north of Kuantan. Its most distinctive feature is the black volcanic-like rocks that line a section of the beach, varying in shades of grey and black. Despite the absence of nearby mountains, this beach boasts fine white sands and unique black stones. It's an ideal spot to appreciate nature's beauty.
A truly unique beach with its signature black rocks scattered along the shore! Pantai Batu Hitam offers a serene and wide-open coastline, perfect for a relaxing walk while collecting seashells. The contrast between the dark rocks and the vast shoreline creates a breathtaking view, making it a great spot for photography and nature lovers. With its calm waves and refreshing sea breeze, it’s an ideal getaway for anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of Malaysia’s coastal charm.

Really windy, setting up a tent is doable although with some difficulty. As the name suggests, its a beach with black rocks. The view is okay, the water is murky. Water is very clear. Lots of crabs and snails on the rocks and sand. Spotted some small fish too. Have to take note that coming here during low tide is better, because during high tide the water hides much of the rocks. We had a great time adventuring and connecting with nature. (no critters were harmed, we returned them all to nature after handling)

Natural Batik Village, situated near Balok Beach, is a popular destination for both local and international tourists seeking to explore the traditional art of batik. The village offers visitors the opportunity to try their hand at batik painting and create their own designs at a show factory. Additionally, it serves as an outlet shop for various batik manufacturers, showcasing a wide range of products including t-shirts, sarongs, scarfs, shorts, skirts, and ties.
If you're looking for an indoor leisurely activity to bide your time in Kuantan then this is an idea! Choose from a variety of batik art painting options or tie-dyeing - let your creativity go wild! Once done, you can pop in to the store to pick up more ready made batik wear. Friendly service. Do take note though that your art would need time to be processed so depending on what you had chosen, you might need to have them delivered to you later. Alternatively do this on the way to your island destination and then pick up your art piece on the way back.

Fun activity to do with family and friends, have large parking area. Inside there are many souvenirs, clothes for men and women, baju kelawar too but note that they are overpriced. It is kind of dusty inside and warm too. For me the batik colouring is the main attraction located on the side of the building, an open air area equipped with fans but still hot, you can choose the size and design of batik canvas as low as RM15 then they will provide batik colouring. We spend almost 2 hours there, up to your colouring technique. I prefer to take time to mix the colours to get the shade that I want. There are also shirts colouring and other activities.

Natural Batik Village is a must-visit, especially if you have kids. For just RM15, the batik painting activity is totally worth it. My 6-year-old was able to spend hours painting, learning to be creative and mix colors. The staff are friendly and helpful, and parking is super easy. It's a great, hands-on activity that both you and your children will enjoy. Besides the painting, they also have a good variety of souvenirs like keychains and fridge magnets. You can also find some beautiful batik clothing, from elegant baju kebaya to comfy baju kelawar. Just a heads-up, the prices for these are a little on the expensive side. Oh, and they also sell coffee, which is a nice bonus!

A Cultural Gem in Kuantan – Hands-On Batik Experience at Natural Batik Village I visited Natural Batik Village located in Balok, Kuantan, Pahang, and it was a truly enriching and enjoyable experience! The location is spacious and wheelchair accessible, making it suitable for visitors of all ages and mobility levels. I had the chance to observe how Pahang-style batik (block printing) is traditionally made. The staff were friendly and welcoming — they explained the batik-making process in detail, which made the experience even more meaningful. After that, I explored the retail section where they sell a wide variety of batik fabrics, as well as batik clothing for men, women, and children, in many beautiful designs and patterns. Pahang batik has its own unique style, distinctly different from the batik found in Kelantan or Terengganu, which makes it special and worth discovering. One of the highlights was the DIY batik painting area outside, where visitors can colour their own batik block art and bring it home. This is a fun and creative activity, perfect for families or school groups. Overall, Natural Batik Village is a must-visit destination in Kuantan for anyone interested in Malaysian culture, traditional arts, or just looking for a meaningful souvenir.
Syafarizal S — Google review
We visited Natural Batik Village this morning. Unfortunately, no one greeted us or said welcome when we arrived, so it was quite confusing to figure out where to do the batik painting. We had to ask at the counter before anyone explained it to us. The staff didn’t seem friendly or welcoming, even those outside. There were no clear instructions, so the whole experience at the beginning felt awkward. That said, we still had fun doing the batik painting together; RM15 per adult. Overall, it was okay and we were happy in the end. But we really hope you’ll improve the system so customers don’t feel confused or unwelcomed.
Haura L — Google review
From the outside it looks quite ordinary, almost like the typical souvenir shops you’d find anywhere. But once you step in… wow! It’s like a paradise of Malaysian batik and handicrafts. They even have a batik canting corner where customers can try it themselves — such a unique experience. The variety is amazing and the prices are unbelievably reasonable. I personally bought a sling bag that I saw elsewhere for RM70, but here it was only RM20! Totally worth the visit, highly recommended!
Nani S — Google review
Great place showcasing and selling a wide variety of batik products, although they are somewhat expensive (as batik usually are). They also have batik painting section where you can try painting your own piece of batik from a selection of premade designs.

Zoo
Dinosaur Encounter Zoo Teruntum Kuantan is a delightful destination for families, especially those with children. While the dinosaur animatronics could benefit from some maintenance—like improving motion sensors—the overall experience remains enjoyable. The zoo features a spacious indoor playground, perfect for hot days, and offers several huts to relax in along with limited food stalls. Although there are fewer live animals than before, the stunning landscapes filled with vibrant plants create an inviting atmosphere.
Nice environment... not too hot because have a lot of tall trees. Got some live animals. A good entertainment for kids. Ichieqa recommended to parents with small children. The only donwside is that not much snacks and drinks option. Other than that, is nice.
Khairi B — Google review
This place is great for family and kids outing. Not many real animals there but the main attractions are the dinosaur figures. Very nice landscape with beautiful plants like flowers and trees. Overall the place is clean and tidy.

Price was expensive and very small place and very small animals in zoo. Not recommended in day time
Baktavatsalam — Google review
Visited during weekdays so not very crowded. Got few hut to relax and few food stall inside but the menu is very limited. Very litte live animal like before but still enjoyable to bring kids around. Ticket fares quite normal. Got good spot for selfies and photos. Souvenir shop inside is acceptable
Hidayah S — Google review
This dinosaur exhibit stands out from any other I've experienced. The lifelike movements of the creatures truly bring them to life.
A M — Google review
Teruntum Mini Zoo is among the most known fixture for people in Kuantan in the past, a calm green area where the exhibits were generally in the age where zoos were merely places to keep animals in cages for the public to see. Despite that, it had greenery and provided a free space for the locals to exercise, enjoy family time and even partake in the road safety rides. Fast forward to the present, in an attempt to rebrand and attract more visitors they redeveloped the park into a Dinosaur Encounter theme park, a recent trend which is bordering on getting stale and not aligned to any local attractions or cultural identity whatsoever, so its generally just a tourist trap. Facilities have been upgraded and now they charge a fee to just go in the park, so goodbye to free public space handed over to capitalism. The main center is generally well done, the usual souvenir shops, extra expensive photo sale at the door, a nice display of a T-rex replica and some other virtual games. Moving on the main area leads to a show arena, plagiarized directly from Jurassic Park the movie. Let's just say the show there was generally cringe worthy amateurish (release the man in T-Rex suit!!) and I would advice people not to pay extra for the other side programmes as its a waste. The other area of the park has also been turned into a hybrid dinosaur walk with animatronics models, which are ok but nothing out of the ordinary, some models could do with some work for sure and the landscaping again fails. The other areas of the park are also filled with dinosaur models amidst the landscape. There are instagram spots for people to pose with the 'Hobbit' house and also nest, am sure the insta-folks will like that, especially those that can't afford to go overseas to see the real thing. The downside is that the remaining zoo animals are still there, which is pitiful as the cages enclosures of old are still there, the lone otter in the cement pond looks like it wanted to end itself and shows sign of stress in captivity, seeing the Milky Storks and Peacocks in cages are also really sad, the zoo hasn't progress to the level of those new natural zoos for sure. The missed opportunity is that there are a lack of places to eat, only a lone concession stand selling junk food, no cafes or real food places to say the least. Parking is also still under construction thus you have to park further away at a local council paid parking area and walk there (~100 m). Park illegally and the police were having a field day issuing summonses. The park is aimed at kids for sure and insta crowds. The lack of real attractions means you can generally finish it in an hour or two at the cost of around RM100 per average family. As an educational facility, there is a lack in materials to teach people about dinosaurs and displays and information boards are lacking. Its all theatrics than substance, again a photo op for the memory book but nothing else. I suspect people won't be making repeat trips back after one visit. The park is packed with people still, so perhaps that's a good thing, but I miss the old more serene and quiet park, not this fanfare want to be park. Attractions: 3/5 Facilities: 3/5 Food: 2/5 Education: 2/5 Kids Friendly: 4/5 Parking: 2/5

Scratched by a Gibbon, Left with a rabies shot- Stay Away! The gibbon which was in the cage ran up and tried to grab me resulting in a scratch along my thigh. It was unprovoked and I wasn't holding any food or drinks, I was also standing on the allocated path around the inclosure which I assumed was safe. I had to get a rabies injection as a pre-caution after the incident. The poor gibbon clearly is distressed being in an unsuitable cage and other animals such as the otters were in poorly maintained closures. If I knew the conditions for the animals were so bad i never would of visited.
Isabella C — Google review
The place is overcharging for the attractions they have. Very very limited animals and no petting. Goat small horses deer cows etc but very little in number. Under renovation so it’s very dusty. SUPER STROLLER UNFRIENDLY Overall you can go better attractions unless your kids are crazy over dinosaurs under the hot sun

Pantai Balok is a large and expansive sandy beach with black sands, offering a scenic and ambient atmosphere. It features several large resorts, homestays, and campsites along the beach. The area is suitable for kite surfing and offers various water activities such as ATV rides and jet skiing. With its white sand and relatively clean environment, this beach facing the South China Sea provides an opportunity to explore karst rocks during low tide.
A nice beach with gentle waves and warm water. A big plus was that it wasn’t crowded at all when I was there, making it a really nice place to relax and unwind
Nur S — Google review
Long and clean beach with very fine gray sand. Doesn't look attractive compared to other beaches.
Jimmy C — Google review
Long beach, not crowded at all. Grey coloured sand that many years ago was white. Good for a long walk or jog and it can get very hot in the afternoon sun so visit early morning or in the evening. The waves were fairly calm so you can also go swimming here. Not a ton of places, if any, to stop and eat or grab a drink along the beachfront which is quite surprising. A nice beach cafe or small restaurant would be very nice to relax and watch the ocean. There was a guy driving up and down selling ice creams. Lots of people doing ATV rides which can be a bit noisy/spread fumes. The beach is ok. Unfortunately some spots are a bit dirty. It looks like sewage comes down from the towns via the rivers so those areas can be quite smelly.. Only a small amount of litter in the sand.
Louis T — Google review
Nice beach, white sand, relatively clean. The beach facing directly south china sea, has icon of karst rock, and able to be reached during low tide. Surrounding here you can find also dew restaurants and hotel. Perfect place yo enjoy sunrise.

Nestled in the heart of Kuantan, Malaysia, Little Arabia Kitchen is a delightful Arabian restaurant that invites you to indulge in an authentic Middle Eastern culinary journey. With its modern yet cozy decor, this eatery creates a warm atmosphere perfect for enjoying flavorful dishes like kebabs, shawarma, and their standout chicken mandy. Each bite bursts with spices that transport your taste buds straight to the Middle East.
The food is really amazing and their chicken mandy is the one that really differs from the other mandy, juicy and the spices is really on point, as for the enviroment it is really welcoming
TPD20 — Google review
The chicken mandi rice is very aromatic and flavorful enough to enjoy on its own. However, the chicken size is quite small, and I was surprised to find that the meal didn’t come with a salad. I also tried the hummus and bread, but I couldn’t finish them because they tasted odd and lacked flavor. Is this how they’re supposed to taste?
Nur A — Google review
Bad service. Order family set for iftar but receive only rice, chicken and lamb without lamb soup. Staff forgot given complete set. Very disappointed. Bad service
Pitihmok — Google review
The lamb is superb. So flavourful. But lack of choice of food. No hummus or paratha at that moment. Overall still satisfied. Even the workers are good n honest. I left my bag there for few hours but luckily they kept it well till I retrieved them back. Pls anyone near this area give it a try here
Fmm D — Google review
The best nasi arab in Kuantan and probably in Malaysia. Really loved their lamb mandy. However, their recently employed staff is not so friendly. I used to order through Whatsapp previously and had no problem but newer staff was kind of lazy didn’t even bother to look at the phone
Judin K — Google review
The food was very bland as there wasnt much for authentic arabic mandi kabsa available. Not much of taste. Its for those who don't want salt and spice in their food The drinks were a bit overly priced. The place is a bit cramped, there are 3 tables only. The staf was nice though
Moin Q — Google review
First experience at this restaurant was like finding a gem in the middle of outskirts. Generous amount of greens in their tasty salad n succulents chicken thigh of mandy rice. Perfectly sprinkled with paprika served with your various selection of gourmet tea.

Cafe
Bluuurgh by Brew & Butter is a delightful little café that offers a cozy atmosphere perfect for enjoying meals with friends. During my visit, I savored the Hainanese Chicken Chop, which was incredibly tender and complemented by a spectacular sauce. My friend opted for the buttermilk rice with chicken, which had a pleasantly peppery kick and came with a creamy spicy sauce that was hard to resist.
What’s the hype all about? Definitely the authentic view and spacious open-air dining area. Perfect for relaxing and snapping aesthetic photos. The place is clean and comfortable, including the toilets. As for dessert, it’s absolutely delicious! Hope they keep up the great taste. The coffee here is also really good and worth it.
Eid D — Google review
Loved the simple yet cozy vibe of the place. It’s a nice little cafe. Ordered Salted Egg Rice with Dory Fish and Garlic Parmesan Chicken Tenders, both tasted pretty good, but the wait was nearly 30 minutes probably more, which was a bit frustrating. To be fair, they did give us free cookies as an apology, so that was a nice touch. For dessert, we had the Classic Tiramisu. The flavor was there, but the ladyfingers were still a bit hard, probably not soaked well in espresso. Ended the meal with their 12-Layer Chocolate Cake, which looked great but was just okay. Compared to their Brew & Butter cafe, which always had fast and efficient service, this was quite a letdown, they really need to speed up the service. Would probably give it another shot, hoping for much smoother experience next time.
Wanny S — Google review
Food was really bad, especially after considering the price. Tiramisu is a no no, the ladyfinger tasted liked it has been soaked with coffee for a few days and just soggy and does not blend well with the other taste, mascarpone taste was a miss as well. Waffle was not crispy and fluffy, it’s a definite miss, but the caramelised banana and ice cream make up for the taste of the waffle. Creme brulee is ordinary and expensive for the taste and size. Ocean americano was good but cappuccino tasted bland. But staff willingly make up another cup for us when we complained, hence the good service. Food was a great spot for ootd, but the AC was not working well for the extremely hot weather today hence not comfortable if the weather is hot. There was a cockroach in the loo, but that’s not a problem for us. However management may want to have a look at this since the cafe itself is so pretty, don’t need to spoil it for matters like this. Huge room for improvement.
Nad A — Google review
I was famished when I got here, and it didn’t disappoint. The wait time was pretty short, and the atmosphere is relaxed and cool. Great for hanging out or catching up with friends. Overall, a good experience and a spot I’d definitely come to again.
Nurul I — Google review
We visited Bluuurgh Cafe and ordered the classic tiramisu (MYR15) and cream blue soda (MYR15). Both were delicious. Definitely worth the visit all the way from Johor. We arrived around 12:30pm and it was quite packed, but overall the experience was still pleasant. The air-conditioning wasn’t very cold, but it was manageable. The interior decor is beautiful and well thought out. However, the toilet was a bit dirty, which was a slight letdown. Still, we’d love to come again next time! -1
Haura L — Google review
The interior are cute, have limited indoor seating and there is an outdoor seats at the back with nice Santorini vibe. In my opinion some of the dishes are overpriced and some were adequate. We went there for desserts, the tiramisu was good, nice balance of coffee and cream. The crème brûlée toast was okay, large portion. Will consider coming again to try other dishes
Eh N — Google review
Overpriced. Don’t get me wrong, the food is okay, but definitely not worth the price. It costs around RM20–RM50 per person. Feels like you’re mostly paying for the aesthetic, not the actual food.
Jasmirul N — Google review
We were pleasantly surprised to find how nice the place was 👍🏻 Very attentive and friendly staffs, great atmosphere. Seating area inside was air conditioned but quite limited. More seating area outside with the famous orange backdrop, giving santorini, it was cosy and romantic during dinner 👍🏻 Menu was variety, appropriately priced and portioned. What we ordered: - chicken chop with black pepper sauce (4/5) - banda club breakfast platter (4/5), full plate love the hashbrown 👍🏻 - strawberry croffle (4/5) for dessert, croissant dough was nice not too sweet, love the combo Love that they have all day brunch menu when we came and hoping that it continues 👍🏻 Had a great time here, would definitely recommend to others! 👍🏻

(Translated by Google) Quieter than Gelora Park.... It is suitable for those who have retired because the jogging track has many junctions and it is not suitable to go around the whole park, 🤭.. Very clean.... Clean toilets.... (Original) Lebih tenang dari Taman Gelora.... Sesuai untuk yg dah berpencen kerana track jogging banyak simpang klau tak larat nak pusing habis satu taman,🤭.. Sangat bersih.... Tandas bersih....

A fabulous bay like beach where the waters is calm, waves are not very strong and the scenery is great. Water is clean and great for swimming. The whole beach stretches long and wide and one end is a beautiful estuary with the Cherating river

The golden sand of the beach is great. Clean beach with calm water. Club Med is just beside.

We loved it here, didn’t regret coming, look at my videos! Visited on a Saturday after 5pm

Fun to explore the beach during low tide. Many marine life. Sad to see trash discarded at the beach intentionally. Parents should ensure no plastic toys left behind and discard the toy packaging in the bin. Some of the trash include plastic disposable cups and plastic spoons for ice-cream. Let's do our part to keep our beach clean. And also please leave the marine life alone. Do not tease them and throw them in the air.

Best clean stretch of Sandy beach to call your own.

We went on March, windy, clear blue sky and of course sunny beach. No rain during our visit, which was good, our girls and ourselves love it so much. I had a sunrise run along the beach. Nice and rejuvenating.

Lovely beaches, with beach bars and restaurants, turtle sanctuary, Hafizs Tours, just remember to take some cash with you as there is no ATMS, and only accept cash

Very long and nice beach. There are many resorts/villas/bungalows around. All the restaurants are near and all the shops are selling batik products. 😊 Don't miss out the Don't Tell Mama Ecobar😉
