The Studebaker National Museum is a must-visit for anyone interested in the history of the automobile industry. The museum boasts an extensive collection of Studebaker cars, wagons, and carriages that offer a glimpse into America's past. Visitors can explore three floors filled with presidential carriages, vintage cars, and other historically significant objects dating back to the 1800s.
The museum has a wonderful collection that well represents the history of Studebaker. From the horse drawn vehicles to the racing heritage to the line of beautiful production vehicles and prototypes that didn't make production. There is a small gift shop that offer everything from children's toys to high quality collectibles. There are interactive displays for children as well. It is a pleasant way to spend some time with the family.

A great car museum featuring the history of Studebaker, South Bend’s historic car manufacturer. A nice history museum is attached to it too. Do note that tickets have to be purchased on-site, you can’t buy them online.
MECHOWL — Google review
So, until a recent major 2nd visit to IN from Wisco, I had no idea of the state's rich auto heritage. The many stunning well maintained or restored cars are industrial design artworks, but I was really moved by two antique carriages. One was the cabriolet made for Lafayette on his triumphal return and procession through the United States he helped to create, and the other was the actual carriage Lincoln rode in to his fatal visit to Ford's theater. I was not expecting either and was completely dumbfounded. These are the type of treasures you see in the Smithsonian. Lovely to have them in the Midwest. In perusing the reviews, I noticed many Lincoln mentions, no Lafayette. He was part of George Washington's military "family", and it's quite possible that without his heroics the French may not have entered into an alliance with the budding United States against Great Britain to win our freedom in the Revolutionary War of Independence. His return tour was a very big deal, and many places proudly tout that he spoke, ate or slept there.

Great history of this company and the family that started it. Nice collection of wagons and cars built by Studebaker. Good sized museum that can be visited in a couple of hours

Loved the museum! We’re traveling with a trailer and stayed overnight in the parking lot (thanks Harvest Host!). Great location. Quiet and exactly what we needed. Enjoyed the museum once it opened the following day. Both museums were a fantastic way to spend a couple hours.
Keely M — Google review
Interesting to see how much the Post Office and Studebaker intersected. I was surprised they didn't have more "bullet nose" models, but seeing what they did have (including old carriages from the 1800s) was still pretty neat. Definitely something to check out if you're nearby.

while visiting family in Elkhart Indiana we decided to do a tour of the Studebaker museum in South bend and was pleasantly pleased at what we found!!! Such a cool place of historical cars and transportation it is a must to see when visiting the Midwest

Fine dining restaurant
French steakhouse restaurant
Nestled in the heart of downtown South Bend, LaSalle Grill is an upscale bistro that promises a remarkable dining experience. Renowned for its New American cuisine, this award-winning restaurant has been recognized with the AAA Four Diamond Award for over two decades and boasts a distinguished wine list. The menu features an array of delectable dishes, from wood-fired steaks to fresh local seafood, all crafted with meticulous attention to detail and flavor pairing.
The meal we had at the Lasalle Grill was excellent. The food was cooked just as ordered. The service was prompt and attentive without being overwhelming. The atmosphere was congenial and not too loud, which is my most frequent complaint with other fine dining experiences locally. The price point was also better than that of comparable restaurants. Glad we chose this restaurant for our anniversary.
Sally H — Google review
I wanted to come to a restaurant I could walk to from my hotel and this place was just up the road. I just wanted to try a couple things so I got the wedge salad and asked for the vinaigrette instead of the Gorgonzola dressing and I also got the Cajun sea scallops. The salad was OK however, the lettuce was bitter, which was surprising. The sea scallops were good but almost slightly undercooked, a little gritty and a little salty
Jayna P — Google review
The Wife and I wanted to have a nice date night, for this night (a Friday night) we chose the LaSalle Grill, seemed kind of exclusive, fancy dining. we set reservations days in advanced for 8pm, showed up and they had our table ready! here is where our only (yet huge) issue came, we waited 40min for any waiter to even talk to us, no water, no nothing, after the long wait the hostess asked us if we have been seen, we said no, and she was super apologetic, and had the manager come over, he expressed how sorry the breakdown in communication on who was supposed to wait our tables, and he reassured us our night would be perfect from then on, and he was RIGHT! the service and food was so amazing, it was worth the wait, the staff was super nice, and food was on level of some other (much higher priced) restaurants we have been to, the prices are fair, well worth the food, the atmosphere was wonderful, only small minor issues was it looked like stains on our tablecloth? not sure, it was a non issue as the night and location was amazing, highly recommend this place, especially to couples! Thanks again to the Manager and hostess who helped fix the issues we had, and thanks to the amazing waiter (who once he knew we where his table) he was top notch! Food - NY Strip, Salmon, bread app, desert. Drink - THE BOURBON MANHATTAN, WINTER MULE
Jon C — Google review
My husband and I were given a gift card to LaSalle grill and were excited to check it out. We had reservation for 8 PM on a Friday. There were two tables seated with people. The hostess sat us near the kitchen entrance and it was so loud we asked to be seated further away hoping it would be quieter. It was not. The staff was very loud in the kitchen joking and talking loudly. I felt like we were eating in a food court. It really was horrible. We considered leaving and to be honest I really don’t know why we didn’t. What we ordered was not good. The venison tasted like dry shredded roast beef with gravy and the fish was dry and fishy. Not good for a supposedly classy restaurant. Between the noise from the staff joking around in the kitchen and the dry food I feel totally ripped off. Over $180 spent for that. Never again. One good point was our server she was attentive and helpful.
Susan N — Google review
We had the loveliest evening. Victoria made us feel like we were the only table in the place on a very busy Friday. Everyone was friendly, the filet was tender and well seasoned…. It was an outstanding experience.
Carolina M — Google review
Had a great experience taking my daughter out to dinner. Ordered the bread plate, caesar salad, salmon and new york strip. Everything was delicious, the service top notch and experience enjoyable.
Brian T — Google review
The food was great. Very flavorful. The service was slow and we had to repeat our requests more than once which was disappointing for the cost.
Rick — Google review
Absolutely an excellent dining experience. Menu and wine list are top of the line. Staff was professional, knowledgeable and very accommodating. Food and cocktails were prepared to perfection. I need to go back so I can try desserts. Just too full on this visit.

Absolutely wonderful. The staff was nice both food and dessert was amazing. We were celebrating our first anniversary and the staff as well as the manager made the experience very special. We also received beautiful wine glasses as a gift and a “ happy anniversary” card signed by the staff. Definitely plan on coming back.

Visited this awesome spot with my hubby, baby, and mother in law. Food was excellent! I enjoyed the branzino. My mother in law thought it looked like a piece of art on a plate with the cream and ash mixture. Do NOT skip dessert the cinnamon swirl cake was Divine!!! MIL usually orders crème brûlée and she was actually sad she did this time because the swirl cake was so phenomenal. The staff is excellent and didn’t disappoint! MIL has a walker and it was a little difficult opening doors and getting through but she didn’t have any other issues. The bread was great with the sea salt butter, and the zuppa and French onion soup were both wonderful! We also had a mocktail- can’t remember the name but it was recommended by the awesome waiter.

Great spot for drinks and a good meal. Our favorite was the pasta. Autumn was our server and was an absolute gem and made the evening amazing! Highly recommend if you are in the area

Well worth it's weight in gold. This is fine dining at it's finest. The servers were on point, never letting anything slip. No waiting for anything and all smiles. Absolutely loved the food too!

It was a wonderful experience! Our server, Zane, was absolutely outstanding—friendly, attentive, and made the evening extra special. The attention to detail was impressive, with Notre Dame and Navy logos printed on the menus, which was such a perfect touch for the occasion. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and my filet mignon was cooked to absolute perfection!

We came into town for a tennis match Saturday morning and had the absolute best dinner here Friday night! The service was spectacular. The food was absolutely delicious and completed my meal with chocolate gelato (forgot to take a photo because I couldn’t wait to eat it!). There was seven of us and we all tried something different and everybody loved their meal.
Jacquie D — Google review
My wife and I went for our anniversary and, while I was expecting good food and service, the experience exceeded my expectations. We sat down to an anniversary card signed by the staff, which set the tone for a wonderful evening. Geoffrey was excellent: he balanced formality and familiarity in a way that made us feel welcomed and comfortable. Despite having been in town only a few weeks, you could've convinced me he'd been with Navarre for years, so thorough was his knowledge of the menu and such was the quality of his recommendations. He even brought us champagne. I thought the food was great, but more importantly, my wife, a person with a well-developed palette, did too. And all eaten and experienced in an atmosphere that charmingly referenced the belle époque. We'll definitely be back.
Adam B — Google review
Autumn was great! It was a little warm upstairs for my liking and the food wasn't as "five star" as I remember it being. But Autumn really went out of her way to make us feel special and taken care of. If we go back, we will request Autumn.

Chicory Cafe is a charming spot that offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, serving up New Orleans-style cuisine alongside a variety of freshly brewed coffee options. From house lattes to espresso and cappuccino, there's something for every coffee lover. The menu features NOLA favorites like beignets, po'boys, jambalaya, and mac & cheese.
Mmmmm, that sausage mac and cheese at Chicory Cafe in South Bend is a must-try! The rich, creamy texture of the cheese sauce is perfectly balanced by the savory flavor of the sausage. Every bite is a delicious explosion of cheesy goodness. The portion size is also generous, so you'll definitely be satisfied. If you're looking for a hearty and satisfying meal, I highly recommend giving the sausage mac and cheese at Chicory Cafe a try. You won't be disappointed!

Ordered takeout breakfast, food was stated online that it would be ready at 9:15, showed up at 9:05. Part of the order was given to me right away but the hot food wasn’t ready yet. My name wasn’t called. Waited until 9:22 to go up to see how soon the food would be ready and the clerk was like “oh, here you go” and grabbed the takeout bag that had been sitting on the counter for awhile… The steak, eggs and cheese was good. Atmosphere was nice, lots of tables and had a live music playing in the morning.
Cecilia O — Google review
Genuinely neighbourhood-y atmosphere that’s not trying too hard to be cool. Breakfast and people behind the counter were meh! Nothing wrong but no too much to talk about too. Coffee cup sleeves advertised gambling :-/

Recommendations: •Steak po’boy breakfast sandwich- I don’t know if it was because I was starving but this sandwich was so good! The bread was so soft and had shaved steak with cheese had lots of flavor. The combination was delicious! Of course, I used their Louisiana hot sauce for some spice. Aaaand no meal is complete without some sweetness… •Beignets: doughy goodness with a good amount of powdered sugar. 3 to an order. They are honestly so filling I would say 1/2 of 1 is good if you just wanted a taste. Especially if you are already full. My son & I shared 1 piece and took the rest back to the hotel. •s’mores Latte was delish (if you like sweet coffee) We went around 10:30am and as you can see it was not very busy. Plenty of seats available. They had a corner that looks like it’s for live music! All around really cute and cozy. I bet it’s great at night! The only con is probably the bathroom. It’s shared with other establishments and you need a key but not a big deal at all.

I have coupons that I won for this place and I wouldn't even go back for free food. The service was terrible. We arrived at 545pm and left at 630 and received less than half of what we ordered. The cashier was very inexperienced and no one stepped up to help her. There was one large group ahead of us so we definitely gave her some grace as she struggled to put in our order. We sat, we waited just to see a larger group that came after us be served before us. And they were served similar dishes to what we ordered ie beignets. So I went back up to speak with the cashier she could not explained the issue she just looked like a deer in headlights. Went to the kitchen and asked for help and no one assisted her. She finally told me she figured it out. 5mins later only my husband food was brought out... just one sandwich. Im watching as people are walking in and out AFTER us with their orders. I go up again and she gives me my frappe... immediately I see that its watery and refuse it and ask for my payment back. Then they bring out my flatbread at 620p with bacon on it that I specifically said I did not want. The manager doesn't come out until my husband comes up and say something to them. Never apologized once. Im also writing this hungry and annoyed with useless coupons in my purse.
Tameica B — Google review
Excellent food. I had the Cubano and it was delicious. It was pulled pork, ham, cheese, with pickles, melted Swiss and a toasted buttery French bread. I also had the Turtle Late and it was a nice chocolatey treat. Overall I would recommend this place, it also has a quaint atmosphere, and if you want to dine outside on their patio you can.
Paul — Google review
My wife and I stopped into Chicory Cafe for coffee and a breakfast burrito. The coffee was a highlight—very solid, served quickly, and we were both very pleased. Unfortunately, the food experience didn't match. Despite the cafe not being overly busy, our breakfast burrito took a surprisingly long time to arrive, easily over 20 minutes. While the burrito itself was quite good, the extended wait time diminished the overall experience. I'm still willing to return, as other items on the menu looked intriguing, and I'm hopeful the kitchen was just having an off day.
Andrew K — Google review
Chicory cafe has super chill atmosphere, and is an inviting place for a quick bite. It's good for takeout and fine for hanging out too. The food selection is influenced by New Orleans French quarter, and overall has a good selection and is tasty. The line can occasionally get long, so usually I prefer to order ahead. They have more than one location in the area.

Bar & grill
Bar
Brothers Bar & Grill is a lively outpost of a Midwestern sports-bar chain, offering a casual American dining experience in a vibrant party atmosphere. Located on Eddy Street, this spacious sports bar provides ample seating and delicious food, making it perfect for large groups. With numerous TVs, it's an ideal spot to catch a game or simply hang out with friends on non-game days. While some may find the atmosphere loud and bustling, others appreciate the energetic vibe that comes alive as the night progresses.
Brothers Bar & Grill definitely delivered on a fun night out! I had a fantastic time, and there are a few things that really stood out. First off, the shuffleboard was a huge hit. It's always great to find a bar with some interactive entertainment, and the shuffleboard was a perfect way to get some friendly competition going. Secondly, and perhaps most importantly, Twisted Tea on tap? Genius! It's refreshing, flavorful, and having it straight from the tap was a game-changer. I'll definitely be back for that alone. The atmosphere was lively and inviting, perfect for catching up with friends or just unwinding after a long day. The service was also prompt and friendly, which always makes a difference. What really impressed us, though, was how welcoming they were to our group. We were in town with a visiting team for a hockey game, and even though we weren't supporting the local team, the staff and other patrons were incredibly friendly and accepting. It's not always easy to find a bar that's so inclusive, and we really appreciated that. Overall, Brothers Bar & Grill is a solid choice for a casual night out. Whether you're looking for a place to play shuffleboard, enjoy a refreshing drink, or just soak up a fun and inclusive atmosphere, you won't be disappointed. Highly recommended! Go GREEN!
Michael F — Google review
Casual sports bar style place with capacity for a lot of people. The area is very clean and borderline ritzy. Food took about 60 minutes to come out but service was great. They kept up with drinks ( a lot of options on tap) Burgers we got “the overachiever” and the “jalapeño popper” both good although I think the popper was a bit sweet. You can’t request medium rare on the burgers which was a slight bummer. Overall…worth the visit if you’re chilling with friends and not in a hurry.
Reliable C — Google review
This place is a decent lil bar near the campus. You can see the history in the bar which is nice, however the food is basic . I went with my family, it was a decent stop for our road trip as we drove through the campus. It's a sports bar. Bathrooms were ok. Overall, a decent experience but I do not plan on stopping here again.
Dominic P — Google review
This was a nice place to go for a evening out to eat, drink and play pool. Went there with 6 people and had fun, the servers were very nice, the food was typical bar food nothing impressive but we had a great time.
Dave M — Google review
Can't rate food since we ended up not eating there. After bringing our drinks and menu waitress was no where to be found. We waited over 5 mins before we left. There were 3 tables in the shade that weren't cleared while we were there. We would of liked to sit in shade but there weren't available. Only been there 1 other time and we liked it.
April N — Google review
We had an incredible experience! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and our server Jessica was absolutely amazing. She was attentive, friendly, and truly helped elevate our dining experience. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Great place!! Good food! Best cheese curds in town!
Luis E — Google review
We got there after the game and mass, around 8:30, and it took forever to find parking. When we finally walked in, I asked a waitress before we sat down if they were still serving food. She said yes and told us to grab any table. We sat down at a dirty table and waited a while before another waitress came over to take our drink order and clean the table. We pulled up the menu on our phones, and nowhere did it mention that game days had a different menu. Once everyone arrived and we finally ordered, the waitress came back a few minutes later to tell us the kitchen was only serving appetizers. It was frustrating because if we’d known before the 9 p.m. cutoff, we definitely would’ve ordered food sooner. Instead, we just paid for our drinks and went down the street for a better experience.

Wonderful museum, perfect for all age groups. The staff is unparralled in service to visitors and I can not say enough to praise them.

Beautiful place!! Thirty-eight room mansion left by the Oliver family. Everything in it is original to the house. So many unique pieces, and Brenda, our guide, told lots of great stories. There's only one room you can't go into-the nursery-because there are no original pieces for that room. I loved the library, kitchen, mourning room and kitchen the best. Oh yeah, and gorgeous Tiffany glass everywhere! You should go!!

This place was fun for my boyfriend who is a total motorhead. The kids enjoyed it but it was not as interactive as I was hoping for. My kids liked the first floor and it kept their intrest but by the second floor they were over it and ready to move one. They did really enjoy the little play area they have. They have a little car that kids 0-10 can "work" on. It is pretty cute and they had fun pretending to be grown ups. It is definitely only a one trip kind of place. I don't see them getting a bunch of new things to make me want to go back but the experience was fun.

South Bend Brew Werks is the sole brew pub in the city, offering a rotating selection of about 10 taps. It actively participates in the Beer4Good program, supporting three community partners. The establishment hosts various events such as gaming on Mondays and trivia on Tuesdays and has recently become more family-friendly by introducing a special kids menu. Their food menu is diverse, featuring innovative items like grilled cheese sandwiches and flatbread pizzas, with their Roasted Jalapeno Mac being particularly popular.
Great lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Dog friendly, we ate outside. Cheerful service team, made from scratch food. We also had the pretzel and chips and salsa for apps. Highly recommended!

Good food, good beer, good atmosphere. They are good at what they do, it’s a great place to meet up for a bite and a beer. Honestly I love an afternoon snack be day dinner. The menu is more munchie and dinner imo but you won’t be disappointed. For beer lovers, unsure if there are any 5 ⭐️on untapped but everything drinks well and is flavorful. My latest was the Disinhibited DIPA

When you walk into Brew Werks, you feel like you’re walking into a family atmosphere. That’s because you are. The staff is passionate, the beer is high end, and the food is great. In the summer, highly recommend grabbing beers and food ahead of a South Bend Cubs baseball game. You can park on the north side of the stadium and walk to both places easily. Great way to support local

Nice little brew pub. We enjoyed the outdoor seating with our kids and dog. They have bags and chalk for the kid, water bowls for your dog and a good selection of beer for the adults. The food was also tasty.

Kevin and I love the beer, the food, and the team at South Bend Brewerks. It's a nice casual place, with excellent craft beers on both the regular and rotating taps. The soups are always flavorful. There's always lively conversation at the bar.

Tucked away brewery with several permanent and rotating beers. Draft cocktails as well. Great food with weekly specials. Events and trivia during the week. Great place to chill at the bar or on the dog friendly patio. They now have togo crowlers!
Thomas F — Google review
We were very impressed with the food and the atmosphere here. The servers were kind and did a great job. All of our food was delicious and felt freshly made. The tap list was a little geared towards the dark side while we were there, but it rotates pretty regularly so that was more of an unfortunate timing issue. Regardless, great beer, location, service, and food!

Excellent food with a unique twist and served up with a smile. We could not have presented this place with a worse scenario. We arrived with several 9yr old kids and several adults after a sports tournament. Not only were they friendly and helpful, they also served up great food for everyone and the kids enjoyed as well. I had the Smoked Brisketwich, which is a grilled cheese with smoked brisket and jalapenos. It was absolutely amazing. The potato salad was even really good. The meals everyone got were different in unexpected ways and all of them seemed to work perfectly.

Blaze Pizza is a trendy, fast-casual pizzeria that serves thin-crust pies with innovative toppings and sauces. This counter-serve joint offers an extensive selection of toppings, allowing customers to customize their own pizzas. Notably, they also provide vegan cheese and meat options at no extra cost. The restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere reminiscent of Notre Dame style. It boasts clean restrooms and ample handicap parking near the entrance.
Best pizza I’ve had in a while ! First time trying and it was so delicious .
Autumn S — Google review
I usually don’t write a review but after visiting this place I had too. I would not even give 1 star to this place. Very dirty and unhygienic. Attached pictures are the proof. We wait there for almost 45 mins because they prioritize the online orders. The young girl with a long hair wasn’t wearing the hair net and her hair was that long that would touching the surface where they are preparing pizza. Not a good place for vegetarian people… jalapeño and olives were next to the meat and you can see that meat was in veggies containers as well. I came here for a nice experience but unfortunately not at this place…. They even serve us pizza without liner directly in brown box… those recycled boxes 🫣🫨
Shivani D — Google review
Ordered a pizza for pickup. Got basically bread and sauce. The toppings were a joke -- a smattering of olives thrown unevenly across the pizza, a few onion slices and a few mushrooms (first photo below shows my pizza -- the rest of the pizza was as bad as those two slices). My husband fared a bit better with his vegan pizza (second photo). If you're going there, best to go in person so you can watch people make your pizza and be sure you don't get shortchanged. As for me, I am done with Blaze. UPDATE: Blaze reached out to make it up to me so I raised it from 1 to 3 stars. Kudos to them for that. I'll give it one more try before I call it quits. Will update once I've done that.
Becky T — Google review
I love Blaze Pizza but this location is HORRIBLE when it comes to service, mainly prioritizing in store customers vs the online orders. The last 5 out of 6 times coming to this location, including on today’s visit, has been a situation where you wait in line to order and then once you get to the point of ordering, they print off anywhere from 7-11 online orders in a row and then ask you to wait for all of them before making your order. I understand the balance between getting an order out online fast but make it a balance of both. Put a 20 min order time or something in place as I have seen many potential customers walk out because of this. I also understand that that it is close to ND but I have never experienced this at any other Blaze Pizza! Management - Please FIX this!!
Jeff P — Google review
I would not even give 1 star to this location. Very unhygienic. I went there for a nice pizza with great expectations but after seeing my pizza , i was very disappointed. Being vegetarian seeing the topping station full of mess gave me the anxiety of getting meat in my pizza. The pizza tasted burnt (both pies and garlic bread had burned crumbs stick at the bottom, probably they dont clean theor ovens too) and the crew members were not at all welcoming. I asked for onions on my pizza and the guy told me that it might take 45 minutes to get it from back 🤔. When i asked for more sauce i was told that it will be extra which is my first hearing at Blaze. My fingers were all black when I held my first slice, extremely poor quality (see picture for real). I ended up trashing my whole order. Dont waste your money at this place!
MONIL P — Google review
This pizza place is delicious and the staff is very helpful. The entire counter crew made this experience wonderful. I hope to stop by again.

Store hours say open until 11. I came into the lobby at 10:15 and was told they would start my order in a few minutes. I was the only customer in the lobby. Several minutes later, I was told they wouldn’t be taking any lobby orders. If the lobby door is open and signage states open until 11pm, then don’t make people wait to order, then refuse to serve them several minutes later. Zero stars if I could rate that. Will not be back.

Restaurant
Texas Roadhouse is a vibrant chain steakhouse that brings the spirit of the Lone Star State to your dining experience. With its lively atmosphere and Southwestern-inspired American cuisine, it’s a feast for both the eyes and palate. The decor immerses you in Texas charm while you savor their renowned steaks, particularly the ribeye, which many patrons rave about as being among the best in comparison to other steakhouses.
Absolute great time at this Roadhouse. The steaks were perfect. The margaritas were great. Our waitress made sure we got exactly what we needed/ wanted quickly. Go here for a great meal in a comfy environment
Zorina K — Google review
My meal at Texas Roadhouse was solid—good food and an even better atmosphere. I ordered the 6 oz. steak, which was perfectly cooked but left me wishing I’d gone for a larger cut (I can only imagine how fantastic it would’ve been!). But honestly, the service stole the show. We were welcomed with open arms and even treated to a good ol’ Texas line dance. Can’t beat that kind of southern hospitality!
Phillip P — Google review
Its a staple of chain steakhouses. The staff were amazing. Our waitress Tay was attentive of all her tables and made sure all were happy and satisfied. Would definitely go back here when I'm in the area.

We came here Saturday to celebrate my daughter’s 9th birthday. The food was good, the restaurant was clean, and we were seated in about 15–20 minutes. Overall, a nice visit and I’d rate it 4 stars. The only things that stood out were that my daughter told the server it was her birthday but nothing was done for it, which left her disappointed, and drink service felt a little off. Refills were brought early when not really needed, and then drinks weren’t checked on again. Good food and atmosphere, but those details kept it from being a 5-star experience.
Josh H — Google review
Yes, I know I could have asked them to redo the overdone and dry steak but it tasted good. Yes, I know it was my fault for not asking for mushroom topping but aren't they were trained to upsell you. Thanks to them for the veteran discount.

Upbeat place with great food and service. Love their rolls and peanuts to snack on before the meal. They also had a reserve parking spot for veterans which I was able to use.

Everything was great despite it being super busy we got excellent service, server was very nice got everything done right and checked up on us making sure every part of our meal was good and if we needed anything. The steak was incredible perfectly cooked and so was everything else. Perfect seasoning too not too much pepper of salt. Totally 100% recommend

Came last night for dinner for my mom’s birthday. Found a maggot in my salad. The manager took my plate and said it was a gnat. Thank goodness I got the video recordings because it was in fact a worm or maggot! Definitely won’t be returning and I called and sent video proof to the health department. Disgusting. They offered me free dinner tickets that I refused! I would not return free or not. They should have covered the whole bill and not just took off the salads. What else has maggots back there???? The manager did not even apologize instead he argued on his ear piece with a guy named back who not once even came out to speak with me. The server was great I did not catch her name and did not blame her. Be careful eating here!!!

Lots going on at this market. Produce seems great. Honey. Popcorn. Smoothies. Tchotkes. It’s all inside in a smallish hallway that makes a big square.

Indoor, year round farmer’s market. Great variety of things, always interesting and fun. The cafe serves excellent breakfast as well.
Paul L — Google review
Best Farmer's Market ever! Okay...I grew up in the area so I'm sort of partial to it, but even after traveling and visiting others around the country, nothing compares to it. Wonderful variety of fresh everything from fruits and vegetables to breads and meats as well as healthy plants and homemade items. It is a must-visit farmer's market. And the restaurant is amazing with great service. Check out the avocado toast I recently had for breakfast. Is that eye candy or what? And it was so tasty, too. Excellent service came with it, which was a bonus. So whether you live near South Bend or are just passing through, pay it a visit. You will not regret it.
Theresa E — Google review
The Farmers Market has seen better days. While it once offered a charming, old-style atmosphere with fresh produce, it now feels dated and run-down. The prices have climbed significantly, and many vendors come across as overly self-important rather than focused on quality or customer service. The market has taken on a distinctly "yuppie" vibe, which may appeal to some but alienates others who preferred its former welcoming, community-oriented feel. Unfortunately, if you don’t fit into a certain niche, you might feel like an outsider rather than a valued customer. For those seeking an inclusive, reasonably priced farmers' market experience, this may no longer be the best choice. Final Thoughts: 2/5 Stars – A shadow of what it once was, with overpriced goods and an unwelcoming atmosphere.
Mark L — Google review
The restaurant inside is ONLY good if you know someone. Otherwise, you get food that is fast food quality at best on top of terrible service. The waitress handling my party would be there for a second, then talk with those she knew, neglecting her other customers. That’s only the restaurant. The actual Farmer’s Market part of the building isn’t awful, but it is ALWAYS busy and the prices are the /SAME/ as store prices. Not worth the drive because you lose out with how much gas is. If you have Notre Dame moneys, then fine, otherwise, you’re out of luck. (06/2025)

Not from the area. Walked in and was instantly greeted and sat. Smaller place and quiet which is a plus, somewhat fancy setup with ice water in goblets and elegent simple furniture. Good selection of Chinese and Vietnames foods plus a few of their own creations. I ordered Chicken Curry lunch special and when she asked how spicy I wanted it (1-10 wow I was suprised) I got 6. It tasted great and the spice level was perfect. I had my food in less than 10 minutes and tasted fresh. The locals must know it is good to because for at least a third of a restaurants tables to be reserved at 11:30 for lunch is awesome. Also snagged a traditional vietnamese sandwich (a pork banh mi) for the long drive home later. Smells and looks awesome! Would reccomend if youre looking for a comforting warm lunch on a cold rainy day like today!

The vegetarian pho with veggies, tofu, and Saigon tapioca noodles is pure heaven in a bowl. The moment it arrives, fragrant steam curls up like a gentle embrace, carrying the promise of comfort and warmth. Each spoonful feels like peace itself—silky noodles, tender tofu, and vibrant vegetables dancing in a rich, soul-soothing broth. It’s the kind of meal that quiets the world for a moment, wrapping you in calm and gratitude. Truly, a bowl of comfort, love, and pure joy.

The restaurant prides itself on supporting local farmers by using exclusively fresh, in-season ingredients for an ever-evolving menu. Wow!, Is this place an amazing gem to find in Northern Indiana! The food was cooked to perfection. The detail work and artistry that went into styling each dish goes above and beyond what the area normal has to offer. Our server was Andrew and he made our outing experience a pleasurable delight. His recommendations and knowledge of the menu were very well referenced. We will definitely be back!

Everyone at Render delighted us (a large collegiate lacrosse team) from the deliciously fresh food, comforting environment and lovely service. We felt so well treated. The top ordered dish was the NY strip and it was fantastic!!! I didn't want it to end, this was well above your average steak entree you could truly taste the freshness of the steak. The dish was filling but not too heavy. I'm not usually a salad fan but the lettuce was tasty with the right amount of dressing ah such great flavors. It went smoothly couldn't have asked for it any better. Thank you.
Caylee W — Google review
Our server, Scott, was very helpful in explaining the menu to us since it was our first visit. We shared all the plates we ordered. The chicken bao was crispy, delicious and topped with pickled cucumbers and peppers. The crab cakes had great flavor. The New York Strip was cooked perfectly and it was very tender. Let me say, I’m not a huge fan of Brussels sprouts. These were amazing. The parsnip purée was a great addition to the flavors of the vegetables. If you’re a fan of crème brûlée, save room for the trio. The vanilla was tasty, chocolate was rich and creamy, but the favorite was butterscotch. We will be back and next time, I hope it’s on ramen night!

It's amazing great tasting food from beginning to end. Had the salmon, and was delicious and crispy skin. My wife had the New York strip, it melts in your mouth. Very picky with Bok Choy and it was delightful.... They know their greens. Will definitely make this a regular spot. South Bend has some hidden gems!!!!!

Extremely limited menu. Then they were out of multiple things. The waitress seemed like she was in a hurry to get us out even though there was only 1 other table on a Saturday night. I'm guessing there are no after dinner drinks, coffee, or dessert because we weren't offered it. I'm glad we tried it, but you can get better food and better service over at Howard Park.

Had a party of 8, right at opening: • Amazing flavors and unexpected combinations – embraces flavor in a way that can be hard to find around town • Fresh ingredients • Food was perfectly prepared (ex. salmon had the perfect texture and sear) • Service was delightful and guided • Imaginative cocktails and at least one mocktail The decor rides some dated trends, but it’s successful in creating a sense of place and welcoming environment. Hacienda Mexican Restaurants is a vibrant and laid-back chain known for its specialty wet burritos and traditional Mexican fare, along with a selection of margaritas. The restaurant offers a diverse menu that includes Italian, American, Asian cuisine, and other local favorites. Hacienda's commitment to excellence is evident in their collaboration with West Coast chefs to perfect their Italian offerings. Customers have praised the surprising addition of mushrooms in the burrito blanco, which provided a unique twist on classic Mexican dishes.
It's a nice old house that shows some signs of originality, but was converted into a Mexican restaurant decades ago. It has multiple rooms and levels with good food and prompt service. It's certainly family friendly and moderately priced. It would've been nice to have known more about the building itself. It is rumored to have had a ghostly history and our waitress confirmed her own experiences there, but it certainly was a lovely night out with the family.

Im from florida , mexican cuisine is extremely popular there. This restaurant feels like its cosplaying authentic Mexican cuisine, the “salsa” is so thick like ketchup. Honestly, I think they opened a can of tomato sauce and added a can of diced chilies to it. It tastes very artificial. The food was mid. And the menu selection is very small. You cant even get rice and beans with the kids meal because for some reason even though “rice and beans” is listed as a side on the menu for $2.99 the waitress said its 2 sides??? Im not sure this area really knows what mexican food is. Its almost the same vibe as taco bell. The chicken and the taco salad tastes fresh out of a can and im almost positive the steak is from the dollar tree , i chewed for probably 5 minutes. Wont be back here lol all of the food tastes artificial

We LOVE hacienda. The wet burrito never disappoints. Also, the ranch for the chips is absolutely amazing. I was glad I could share such great food with my friends today! We got there right as they opened. They were very pleasant and happy to serve us!

Got delivery from DoorDash, but it was NOT my driver's fault. I usually LOVE Hacienda, but tonight was terrible. My total was $115.38 for 3 people! They forgot the extra cheese on the wet burritos, the Chili Con Queso was so gross, thick, burnt, and INEDIBLE, and the chips were so greasy(see pics) that the oily mess transferred through the paper bag onto my tablecloth. I spoke with sweet Cammie at Hacienda, and she took my name and information and said I could pick up a bag of chips and CCQ at my convenience. Hopefully they make it right when I pick it up.
Katemoon 7 — Google review
We normally love going to this Hacienda, but today was absolutely awful. Service was very slow, which they were busy so that’s understandable. However, the chips being stale AND hard, to the point of my friend losing a tooth is not. Let me also add, we were not compensated in any way. Just oh do you want a cup for that? I asked for new chips, same issue absolutely terrible. Food was cold, wasn’t even made how it was ordered. Forgot many things, moz sticks were cold, marinara sauce was warm. Very obvious these were left sitting.. maybe short staffed maybe not. But tonight was awful. Oh pic of the tooth as well as the chips, from of course biting into the stale hard chips. Incase anyone doesn’t believe this is a tooth, there is also a zoomed in version.

I have been here numerous times. We had a large group so service was slow. Someone told the waitress it was my boyfriend’s birthday ( which it was yesterday) so the staff came out and sang happy birthday and put a sombrero on his head. Before we got the bill he gave the sombrero back. The waitress then gave it to a couple with kids sitting nearby. Anyway, look at the bill and there's a five dollar charge for the sombrero! I confronted the waitress and she offered to take off the charge but my boyfriend said it was ok. To me, it was not okay. Should not have been on there! That's like saying “tell me it's your birthday and we'll charge you five dollars”!! They just snuck that in! What restaurant charges someone on their birthday?? Usually you get a free dessert. Never did the waitress tell us there was a charge for the sombrero. You also have to be careful if they ask if you want guacamole or sour cream that it is an additional cost. Please beware especially for a birthday.
Esther G — Google review
I used to love Hacienda in Mishawaka for their salsa and chips, but the salsa is not authentic, missing onions, cilantro, tomatoes and flavor. It tastes like tomato paste and no true Mexican taste. Also, their beans and rice are bland and the enchiladas barely have taste and they melt the cheese on their tacos in the microwave. I will not be returning to their restaurant either in Mishawaka or South Bend. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Jessie L — Google review
I ordered before 9pm. Said would be ready 9:20. I didn’t leave until 9:35. $8 on two cherry cokes, watered down like it was just sitting there. Jalapeño poppers, cold and hard like they were just sitting there. The ranch dip in the container was warmer than the jalapeño poppers. Wet burrito was cold. My food was just sitting there while I waited. Oh and they forgot my ice cream to the mudslide but I caught that before I left. I come here frequentl. This location has had issues for a long time. I’m not coming back.

Ichiban Golden Dragon is a casual restaurant featuring dark-wood accents and offering an extensive menu of authentic Chinese dishes. While I can't vouch for every item on their menu, their Poke Bowls are frequently ordered through the drive-thru and consistently meet expectations. The poke bowls are made with fresh and flavorful fish and ingredients. Although they may be slightly more expensive compared to the cheaper options at Star Ginger at Notre Dame, they still impress.

this was my first time ordering from here and i’m not very impressed. granted i did not sit down and i’m sure the experience would have been better if i had but all of the food tasted obviously freezer burnt, the beef i got was 80% onions and the chicken was freezer burnt and tough. the only good thing out of the meal was the rice. the only reason it got that second star was because i didn’t sit down. i think i wasted 50 bucks and i will not be ordering from here again. it’s overpriced and not worth spending all that money

Have eaten here twice since moving to the area recently, and my husband and I absolutely LOVE it!! The prices are not cheap, but the food is more than worth it. Both times we have gotten sushi for takeout, and it has been absolutely fantastic. The drive thru pick up window is very convenient as well, and they prepared our orders very quickly. The sweet tea is delicious as well. We will definitely be continuing to get our sushi here and maybe try some of the hot cuisine as well! After reading other reviews on here, we have come to the conclusion that if you are nice to people they will be nice back. I worked as a waitress somewhere years ago and people do think they can be very rude to the staff and expect you to just have to take it. So yes I still after reading plan on continuing to visit because for us it's been fantastic 👌

Went before a comedy show so wanted decent food without being as upscale as Copper Rock. Nice atmosphere here. They had a live musician which was a nice touch. They did have a limited menu for show night. We started off with the fried green bean appetizer which were nice and crispy served with 2 different ranch dipping sauces. Absolutely loved them and a nice big portion. I enjoyed the filet, definitely a petite cut same for the ribeye my husband enjoyed. Not super high quality but decent. The macaroni and cheese was really good. A thinner style white cheddar sauce on cavatappi pasta with big chunks of bacon. Really enjoyed it. Margarita used bottled sweet mix. Bloody mary was good tasted like Zing Zang with a nice little kick. Would definitely go back and give them another shot. Service was really good as well.

Kankakee Grille is one of the few places doing it all right in South Bend/Michiana. They have a big menu with lots of options so all your picky friends and family members can find something they like. Fried fish (Bluegill Platter) was good. Surf/Turf was good - lots of places overcook the lobster, not here. Meatloaf - It's more of a giant egg-shaped meatball; but it's delicious and a generous portion. Lobster Roll - one of the few places you can get a lobster roll around here and they are quite generous with the lobster and the roll is authentic. I have a hard time not ordering this every time I go even though I want to try more items. Desert - We've had the carrot cake and gelato, but the gelato is excellent here. We get it everytime now and the flavors rotate. We always have excellent service. Bonus points for the live music. They bring in mostly solo acts, and several from the Chicago area that are quite talented. They find the perfect balance of live music for a restaurant; not too loud and talented people. Don't sleep on this one - easily a top 10 service/food experience in Michiana.

Kankakee Grille in South Bend proved to be a delightful dining option during our visit to the casino, offering a satisfying mix of quality food, reasonable pricing, and an inviting ambiance. The restaurant features a robust menu with something for everyone, and the atmosphere was elevated by the soft sounds of live music playing nearby, creating a relaxed and enjoyable setting. We started our meal with the crab cakes, which were a standout, served with a unique and flavorful corn-based sauce that added a creative twist to the dish. For my entrée, I went for the chicken fried steak dinner, complemented by a side of macaroni, and it delivered in both heartiness and taste. My dining companion opted for a salad and was impressed by its freshness and vibrant flavors, which can sometimes be overlooked in simpler dishes but were done exceptionally well here. Although the overall experience was positive, the pace of service was noticeably slow, with our waitress only appearing briefly to deliver dishes. Since we were dining on a Sunday evening, it’s possible this was due to staffing or timing, but it didn’t detract too much from the overall enjoyment of the meal. Kankakee Grille is a great spot to pair with the other amenities at the casino, and despite the lag in service, the food and atmosphere more than made up for it. We’d definitely consider returning for another meal, perhaps to explore more of their intriguing menu offerings!

We so wanted to love this place as it is a beautiful restaurant. Unfortunately the Cesar salad my wife ordered was mayo and lemon juice with sharp green olives. Not a Cesar. My prime rib sandwich was big and beautiful but because of the very heavy handed rosemary it tasted like eating a Christmas tree.

Reviews for this place seemed great so im not sure why our experience was so off. We got two orders of the fried deviled eggs out of pure excitement. Two of the six eggs were great. The other four were almost inedible. The eggs were burnt and took about 5 mins to chew each, such an unpleasant texture. We got the mac&cheese and grilled chicken sandwich for entrees. The mac and cheese had no taste. Our lovely server took it back and didnt charge us. The chicken sandwich was okay, Ive had better from fast food places. The truffle fries were the only great food we had. The rest of the meal was full of anguish and despair. Maybe with a few drinks in us everything would have tasted better! Our waitress was lovely and there was great music playing. Unfortunately the food itself just lacked flavor and was not worth the price.

A good restaurant to have a nice sit down meal. If you don't mind the possible walk due to the busyness of the casino parking lot. A wide variety of menu items including steak, pasta and sandwiches. With great service and a nice atmosphere that includes a fireplace and the occasional live music set.

From fresh fruits and nuts to a host of candies, cereals, and syrups, the topping bar is a dream come true for those who love to experiment with their flavors. We give it 5 stars! Yogurt is great, very clean and very family friendly! Management has no issues playing Christian music, making it a safe place for families! Thank you!!!

Great place to go on a hot summer day like today. (Although other weather wouldn't have kept us away!) I love that you're able to sample the flavors before you choose what you're going to have. There are always plenty of delicious flavors to choose from, but the toppings are my daughters' favorites! The staff was friendly and helpful, and the total was much more reasonable than I existed. We sat outside on the deck and enjoyed our frozen yogurt. We'll be back!
Anne M — Google review
Owner very money hungry, every time I go in there he tries to find ways to charge extra in every way. We can no longer get our own toppings but he tries to manage how much you get. I asked him to add a small amount of Oreo crumbs and he told me he couldn’t add any more and it would be .71 for one ounce on the side. Will not be going back this is the 3rd time & every time he’s ON THE PHONE barely paying attention. Wish the old owners would come back. I use to spend a lot of money with them but he doesn’t deserve it!

We stopped going, we felt watched and it just was an unpleasant feeling. My younger sister loves frozen yogurt but we just decided to switch to dairy queen for frozen treats. It was good at first years ago really kid Friendly and payed by the weight and so we would love to DIY now its as if we aren't cautious we fear we may be rude to the owner and establishment. We have also heard more gossip in general on this location on social media, and did not read much into it. We were not treated bad. We just did not feel comfortable.

So many flavors, clean and friendly staff. We went on Monday and got a 4 dollar bowl
Lynn G — Google review
Look, I usually never leave reviews for things like this. But the experience I had was just so… surreal that I feel like I have to. I’ve only been to this Sweet Frog location twice, once about four years ago and once today. But those two experiences are like day and night compared to each other. From what I remembered from four years ago, it was a nice little place to get some good frozen yogurt. Some kids show was playing on the TV, the yogurt tasted great and was reasonably priced, and the atmosphere back then felt nice and fun. But now? There are signs EVERYWHERE telling what you can’t do. Which— guidelines are fine, but when the exact same sign with the exact same smiling frogs is repeated nine times in a row, it starts to feel condescending. Plus, having that many signs causes people to become overloaded and mentally check out rather than pay attention to what the signs are saying. Additionally, instead of the TV having anything for customers to watch, it was playing security footage of the whole store, having a small bar on the side of the screen showing the facial identification of customers. It felt incredibly creepy and like every move I made was being watched. As for the frozen yogurt itself— there are no sample cups, so essentially you’re gambling on liking a flavor or not. Plus, the frozen yogurt is priced by the cup, not by the ounce like it used to be. It doesn’t matter whether you’re getting toppings or not—a regular-sized bowl of plain froyo costs the exact same as a regular-sized bowl loaded with three flavors and four toppings. It cost MUCH more than it would have if it was by the ounce. Plus, unlike most frozen yogurt places, you are not allowed to scoop your own toppings. In the end, I’m not even angry about my experience—I’m just sad that this is what this place has become. Despite the fun music and colorful walls, the shop felt distrusting and unfriendly, as if one wrong move would lead to getting thrown out. The only real high point was that the person serving me and my family was nice and friendly. But I would rather make the further trip to Urban Swirl or Let’s Spoon. Sorry, Sweet Frog. :(
Silver — Google review
Updated Review. We will never come back after tonight's experience. I'm not sure if the ownership has changed, but the experience sure did. The woman behind the counter was rude and the furthest thing from customer oriented with her attitude. They only do flat rate cups now and the small size will cost you $8. Medium is $12. They don't give out sample cups unless you purchase a flat rate cup, and they won't give you a spoon until you have added your toppings. It feels more like a jailhouse chow line than it does a fun froyo place. There are signs plastered everywhere telling people to pay attention and watch their kids. There are signs saying that they'll charge you extra if you don't stop the handle right after you remove your cup, or before you put it under. Extremely disappointed with what this place has turned into, it used to be our favorite place to go. If you don't like what you're doing, shut the place down or sell it to somebody who enjoys human interactions... Original review: Amazing place!

My friend and I left Cincinnati on a girls trip to South Bend and found this adorable independently owned restaurant, Thyme of Grace. We fell in love with it and the mom and daughter team Instantly ❤️ the atmosphere was warm, charming and artsy😁 the food was creative and AMAZING, and made with beautiful ingredients 😊 such love and care goes into everything they do‼️ We will be back for sure❣️

Thyme of Grace is an excellent place to have a very nice 4 course lunch. Michelle and Nicole are very friendly and knowledgeable about food and it's preparation and presentation. They make use of their home grown edible greens, herbs and flowers in all of their dishes that they serve. The appetizers are excellent with a concentration on flavor and presentation. The bacon wrapped dates are great. The soups a very flavorful with some unusual combinations, such as the superb mushroom and hazelnut soup. The main course ranges from unusual sandwiches to chicken salad with many variations each time you get it to quiches to many different salads. The deserts are truly decadent. The cheesecake is wonderful and different. The orange cheesecake with a cream sauce topping is great. It was made with fresh Clementine oranges. Even though they are only open from 11 to 2, plan on more than an hour for your meal. Thyme of Grace is truly an "Upscale Dining Experience". We will be back when in town.

I want to thank the owner for her kindness. My 90 yr old grandma called her to see if she could deliver her food all the way on the West side of South Bend. She drove over 25 minutes to take her food and didn't charge her a delivery fee. My grandma really enjoyed the soups. Thank you so much for your kindness!

I can only echo other positive reviews for this restaurant: It is wonderful!! Unique, flavorful dishes - caring, attentive service. I live in Ohio, but every time I visit South Bend, I will be sure to have one or more meals at this sweet little restaurant. I'll also echo the reminder to bring cash or check. We're not used to that, but your meal will be worth the effort!

The Kitchen BMX Skate Park was a highly enjoyable indoor facility for children, offering a safe and parent-friendly environment. Unfortunately, due to the Corona epidemic, it had to close down recently. This closure has been met with great sadness from the entire community as the park served as an important place for youth activities, keeping kids away from negative influences on the streets. The park also provided positive mentorship opportunities that positively impacted young people's lives.
Very friendly staff. It was raining when we showed up, and our bikes were wet from being on the rack. They brought us towles to dry them off before we were even signed in. The park is awesome. The ramps are big with smooth transition. The other people at the park were friendly, and helpful. I'm glad I took a road trip out there.
Greg H — Google review
The ramps have not been maintained in years. Literally holes in ramps not touched in years. Not safe in areas.. The staff (Brett) told me heat doesn't get turned on in the winter unless enough people show up.. isn't that illegal? I've tried to like this place for years but it is just deteriorating. This park has been the only indoor park in South Bend so it's my closest winter option. However I would rather drive two hours to the closest next indoor park around here now.. I hope this place can turn it around

My 9yr old Son had a blast when I took him. Very nice indoor Skatepark that's very parent friendly and safe for my Son, definitely recommend!😉🤘 ☆☆UPDATE☆☆ The Kitchen Skatepark very unfortunately, had to shut down recently due to the Corona epidemic & wasn't able to stay open any longer.😥 My whole family & myself are very sad they had to close. It's a huge loss for our community, although we totally understand why they had to shut down.💔

They should be given this building instead of being forced to pay ridiculous amounts in rent. This place keeps so many kids off the streets and has a bunch of positive mentorships here that will stay with someone for there whole like the youth needs more places like this. It was my first time here today and i can see the influence it has on the kids !!!!!

My son’s birthday party was a blast!!! The lazer tag place we reserved for the party closed its doors without notice. We showed up for the party and found out. One of the best Skateparks you will ever ride. This place is truly amazing. The ramps are massive and very smooth. You will progress more in one session at this park than you would in 3 months of riding. It gets you comfortable with going fast and blasting quarters without being scared to get hurt. Love this skatepark

I'm not trying to say anything bad about anybody but the way I was treated when I was in there made me feel like I was unwelcome and 2025. That stuff needs to stop. If you're on the hunt for a delicious burger experience, look no further than Five Guys. This fast-food gem specializes in made-to-order burgers that are crafted with care and served alongside crispy fries and hot dogs. While you wait, enjoy some complimentary peanuts to keep your hunger at bay. Many families have made it a tradition to dine here regularly, praising the consistent quality of their meals—it's hard not to fall in love with those juicy burgers!
I have only been to Five Guys twice (this being the second), and there is only one way to describe their food. It Slaps! Really though even though the food is pricey it’s super good, and the amount of fries you get is insane. I ordered the Cheeseburger “All the Way”, Regular Fries, and a Regular drink. All were super good! Service was great, even for it being the dinner rush, and one of the employees complimented my Weezer T-Shirt.
Luke H — Google review
Hadn't been to the Five Guys location in a few years and was hoping for a good burger. The burgers were not worth the price and the atmosphere was garish and uninviting. The cashier who took our order was rude and as was the cook, it wasn't busy, maybe 2 other patrons. When we told our order she kept messing it up and when she told the cook the cook rolled her eyes and huffed over to the stove with an attitude. The burgers themselves were not good quality and definitely not worth the price. We were very disappointed as we had eaten at the location years prior and they were so good then that they were memorable. Now? They were a step above a McDonald's burger or a burger served in a public school cafeteria. And the shakes? Decent at best. Wasn't worth the money spent.
Abigail R — Google review
We got the veggie sandwich and hot dog and they were just alright, especially for the price. We each got small fries because with the extras they always toss in the bag we each ended up with an additional small fry. They are delicious! A personal favorite touch is the soda fountain which has a ton of variety.
B S — Google review
Great for good and greasy burgers that are a bit pricey. I mean, its fast, hot, and fresh and pretty tasty but almost $11 for a double burger and just the burger is a bit high and im not someone who typically has any issues dropping money on food. Also, im pretty sure the fry portions are supposed to overflow the container, at least the five guys near my home in Chicago does that. Normally a large fry is more than enough for two people, not this time. Ok experience
Jennifer M — Google review
We visited this location tonight, they were extremely busy. It seemed as though they were short-staffed, only having two guys working on taking orders and making all the food. Even though our order took a bit longer than usual, let me say those two guys working rocked it! They made good quality food, they were pleasant and worked awesome together to get everyone served. Kudos to the two employees holding down the fort alone at about 6:30 pm in 5/6/25. Five stars all the way!!
Teri V — Google review
Amazing food always so good. Floor gets messy but they usually sweep every so often. Employees are for the most part very polite and helpful.
Ryan W — Google review
My preferred burger of choice. My family goes out to eat on Sundays, and Five Guys is our pick every other Sunday. Their quality is in the upper 90 percentile when it comes to consistency. There’s only been a few occasions when they messed up our order. But, the employees are only human, and we’re all prone to make an occasional mistake. I absolutely love their burgers. They’re the best burger restaurant chain in my opinion. I remember all the hype that Portillo’s had when they came into the area. Went there once to try their burger. The bun fell apart after only three bites. Five Guys will always have my business as long as they keep delivering high quality burgers, and friendly staff.

Most of the food there is on the verge of molding/ going old or already is. Went in and told one of the workers the strawberries they had on the shelf had mold on them, he told me he had to wait for someone else to take them off the shelf. Got some cherry tomatoes , the next day started growing mold. My 2 day old pack of chicken that I stored in the freezer had a bunch of grey spots in it when I cooked it.

Such a beautiful place I've been visiting Pinhook Park every year for years, and it never fails to touch my heart. The scenery is absolutely lovely, with its beautiful lake and river views. I appreciate the opportunity to celebrate my loved one with a memorial brick - it's a meaningful way to honor their memory and leave a lasting tribute. The park's natural beauty and peaceful atmosphere make it the perfect spot for reflection and remembrance. I love walking along the paved trails, enjoying the waterfront scenery, and spending time in the Angel of Hope Memorial Garden. Pinhook Park is a treasured spot for me, and I feel grateful to have it as a place to visit and connect with loved ones.

A large park that feels kinda secluded right on the river with a boat launch and kayak/canoe launcher. Nice paved trails, lots of trees for shade. The park is large enough that the kids play park, boat launch etc is spaced apart. It's well maintained and conveniently located. It's quiet, peaceful and calm.

The Pinhook lake was once the course of the St.Joseph River until it was diverted in the 1920s so Riverside Dr could connect with Cleaveland Rd without building a bridge. The apex of the lake bend is a site of great historical significance, yet few know of it or why. It is the eastern landing of a portage between the St. Joseph River and the Kankakee River to the west, and thus across the continental divide. It had been used by Native Americans for thousands of years for transporting people and goods between the North Eastern continent and the West. One could paddle a canoe from Lake Ontario to the Gulf of Mexico, and the only time they needed to portage the canoe was at this park, only a couple miles. It is this portage that the Potawatomi Indians controlled that in part made this tribe so powerful and influential. It is also the very spot where the first white man set foot in Northern Indiana. (And most all the Indiana region other than a few shore landings on the Northern banks of the Ohio River) This man was the french trader LaSalle, who married into the Potawatomi and helped found South Bend. The road just to the west up the bank is named after this famous portage... Portage Rd. The park has plenty of parking. Probably too much parking in my opinion. It also has a sandy swimming area, where I first learned how to swim as a toddler. ( And almost drowned in too, not recommended for toddlers for their first swimming lessons) Just outside of the swim area, the seaweed is dense and so not safe for swimming by inexperienced swimmers. Fishing is popular at this park. There is a newish boat dock that features a handicapped kayak and canoe loading platform so even wheelchair-bound people can use the lake.

I recently rented a canoe from a local rental shop, and I must say, the experience was far from satisfactory. The canoe was in terrible condition, and it felt unsafe to use. Unfortunately, it flipped over during my first attempt, causing me to get wet. To top it off, I lost my phone in the water. I highly recommend avoiding this rental service as it seems to prioritize profit over customer satisfaction.

South American restaurant
Emporium Restaurant is a charming eatery nestled along the scenic St. Joseph River, offering a delightful ambiance for traditional American dining. It has been recognized as a top choice for outdoor dining and romantic settings, making it an ideal spot for a memorable meal. While the prices may lean towards the higher end, patrons rave about the quality of dishes such as steaks and grilled meatloaf.
I love the atmosphere, the food, and the location. This is my absolute favorite restaurant in South Bend. I have never been disappointed.
Jalyn R — Google review
It seemed old and outdated. Like it had been grand at one time and is no longer. But it was okay. Our waitress served us well and gave us our drinks free. You can go out and walk the River Walk right next to the restaurant. At night they shine different colored lights on the river. That is a fun to do after eating here.

I came in with my mother the night before running the Sunburst half marathon. I loved the atmosphere, the decor, and the staff was very friendly. I had the grilled meatloaf and an Old Fashioned, the meatloaf was excellent. The old fashioned was acceptable and the bread that came with our meal was superb! They were definitely busy, so I was glad to have made a reservation and I will admit service was a little slow...but overall I would return again!
Matthew T — Google review
The setting and roominess are the best features. Large windows opening into a view of the river really adds to the experience. Great place for Sunday afternoon lunches with friends and family. Service was okay and likewise was the food.
Tu N — Google review
This was one the worst managed restaurants I’ve ever eaten at. We had a group of 17 for Junior Parents Weekend. They said that a 7:30 reservation would have us out by 9 pm, which admittedly seemed absurd but you have to trust their estimate. We ended up not being seated until 7:45. Our food didn’t even get out to us until 9:15 pm. For some of the people in our group it wasn’t until 9:30. Unfortunately, people seated half an hour after us got their food much earlier than we did. The food itself was a little above average at best. I ordered the shrimp linguine, which was light but not very flavorful. I expected a lot more from something that took over an hour to cook. I don’t anticipate ever going back to the Emporium. It’s a shame because it’s a beautiful location on the river, but the restaurant is run horribly. Go somewhere else instead.
Clay G — Google review
Nice restaurant along the river. The weather was perfect, view was nice, except for the sun shinning in my face so I sat with my back to the river. But the food was good, more on the pricy side. The steaks were pretty good. I would visit this place again. If there aren't any umbrellas out, or much..you might ask. When we were seated there was 3 umbrellas over tables, the next day we were walking there was quite a few up. That would've help with the sun. The s'more spice cake dessert was delicious. Crab cakes as appetizers, in the picture I've posted. Those were mmm mmm sooo delicious!!👌🏾👌🏾
Nahomie ( — Google review
The food was good but way overpriced for what it was. While the atmosphere is unique and the river views are great, it's not very clean.

I took my husband here for a birthday lunch for him and we loved it! The prices were very reasonable, staff was very friendly, and lots of tasty drinks! It was a wonderful spot to enjoy the river, a drink, some food, and each other!

Potawatomi Park, located on the eastern side of the city, is a sprawling green space named after the Native American people that once lived there. The park is known for its lush trees that provide ample shade, making it an ideal spot for picnics and relaxation. One of its main attractions is a well-kept zoo, which is one of the largest outside of Chicago and continuously modernized.
Such a fun park for after the zoo! Pavillion areas and splash pad area. Lots of fun playground activities, things to climb, things that swing/spin around, my kiddos loved it.
Gwenevere M — Google review
South Bends' best park beside the new Howard Park, which ranks no.2 due to its eradication of all the trees. Potawatomi, named after the Native American people that once lived there, is full of tall old-growth trees, so shade is easy to find, even for parking spots. Four main features make this park unique over all others when combined. There is a fairly large zoo, the biggest outside of Chicago. It is well-kept and continuously modernized. An excellent zoo for the region. There is a playground area with excellent structures and equipment located inside a shady crop of old-growth elm, oak and maple trees. There is a wonderful conservatory that has been in operation since the 1930's (I believe, but I could be wrong). And there is a large picnick area with plenty of shelters, tables, and grills for use in a shady Grove of trees next to an open air amphitheater. And I should also mention a fifth feature, the public vegetable garden behind the conservatory. It is large and well kept. I posted a few pictures of it here as well.

We rented a pavilion for our family reunion we have the last Sunday of July for over 50 years. The only issue was the trash was overflowing first thing in the morning. We pay good money to rent that place and had to walk all over looking for trash cans. Plus the restrooms could be cleaner. There was also a homeless camp in the park that day, I don't know what the park works do,but I don't think it's much.

Burgers were delicious & appetizers were half price when I was there. Server Ashley was great!. Booths looked really cool although the one I sat in wasn't as comfortable as it looked. Perhaps the backrest cushions are a bit to 90 degree-ish? I can't really afford to eat there every week, but that won't be a problem as I don't live close. Taper the contours of the back cusions a bit more & I'd give 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️..I'll still give 4.5 as maybe it was just my booth.

560 is technically Little Ceasars Pizza and I stopped to try their new pretzel crust Pizza. But had to wait for them to make it. Why they don't have these "hot and ready" is beyond me, it's fantastic. Perhaps because it's new or hold times are very short. The only improvement I could see would be if they offered it with Jalapeño cheese as a twist. But that's also a matter of taste preference too.

During my latest visit to South Bend, I stumbled upon a veritable Aladdin's cave for vintage aficionados—Council Oak Antiques. This place is an expansive wonderland that seems to stretch on forever, housing an awe-inspiring collection of items and decor that could easily enchant you for hours. The sheer volume and variety of treasures are staggering. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that this was no ordinary antiques shop. Each aisle and corner presented a new assortment of curiosities, from finely crafted furniture to nostalgic trinkets, all whispering stories of past lives and times gone by. It's easy to lose track of time in Council Oak Antiques, and that's precisely what happened. My companion and I wandered through the labyrinth of relics, each turn offering up objects more intriguing than the last. The eclectic mix meant that whether you're a serious collector or a casual browser, there's something to capture your interest. One visit was simply not enough to fully experience everything on offer. The scale of the place means that you could spend a day exploring and still leave with the feeling that you've only scratched the surface. It's the kind of shop that calls you back, promising new discoveries with each trip.

Despite some challenges with signage, visitors appreciate the well-maintained and diverse trails that provide an enjoyable riding experience for all skill levels.
I was stunned by how good it was, very challenging, very beautiful. Rather difficult and rigorous. The signs do not seem too helpful, they are random and misleading, but let's chalk that up to the spirit of adventure. Interacted briefly with super friendly and helpful staff. Thrilled to discover it

A nice park but definitely needs some repairs. And I have noticed sometimes when repairs do get completed, the damage is done again not long after. Very unfortunate as i think this park could be more than what it is but i do not blame the city of they do have to continually fix what is there... because why would they do more if that is the case. A decent athletic park. It has two soccer fields with nets installed at the goals but the field is pretty rough. There are three basketball courts. A small playground with swings and climbers. A restroom each for men and women. There are a couple of splash soakers. A shelter with two long tables and a grill is on site. A large parking lot with handicapped parking and trash barrels is also in the park. Note that Google Maps will try to route you incorrectly to an old abandoned street along the railroad tracks next to a bunch of empty lots where a neighborhood used to be. It will then have you walk over busy railroad tracks, ditches, and barbwire fences to get to the park. I wouldn't recommend Google's route if having legs and breathing is your thing. Instead, use the entrance at the end of Huron St.
Joshua L — Google review
It has a great field for soccer or football. I love the open space because it gives me plenty of room distance you fly my drones.

It could use some attention, but it's got a full size soccer field and some basketball courts. The Parks Dept has expressed a desire for more to come!

The ways that DTSB supports the city has made living in South Bend so much better. They've done the following to make downtown great for me: -hosted great events that I've attended -directed me to local events and new businesses through their facebook page -connected me with business resources downtown. By following them on facebook I've discovered new events happening downtown, which is amazing! I've found new businesses through their facebook page (places like the Outside Scoop & the Baker and Rose). And Leslie, their director of Business Engagement, has connected me with many amazingly helpful local business people! Leslie and the DTSB have added a valuable boost in my career.

The DTSB team created a whimsical setting for lunchtime concerts. There are games, like cornhole and connect 4, plus a large chest set taking pride of place in the center of the courtyard. The music changes daily, encouraging a return visit to enjoy another performance.

This is the most wonderful, locally owned and run plant shop! They put their heart and soul into this place, and it pays off. The plants I have purchased here are excellent quality and are thriving! They have many other plant-related items, as well as offering great classes. I have gotten so excited, and so much better at growing house plants since I started going to The Botany Shop! A cute boutique with a lot of jewelry, accessories, home goods, and even clothing and stationary. I often come here for gifts for friends (and myself). While I love this store, I cannot recommend going through the custom jewelry process (if they offer it still!). I had reached out for a custom piece for my wedding, went through a consultation, and never heard from them again. This was a couple years ago, and maybe I should have been more proactive in reaching out, but I was less than impressed with that experience.

Very sweet boutique. I went because I got a coupon at another local business and ended up with a pair of jeans, sweater, and a cute blouse from the sale rack. Employees are very friendly and helpful. They took my items to the dressing room as I continued shopping and helped me decide what size jeans to buy when I was trying things on (I was shopping alone and needed a second opinion). Prices are boutique prices - more than I generally pay, but not awful, and the items are well selected and good quality. I imagine I’ll be back.

A fantastic place to shop intentionally for yourself and for others! This non-profit organization helps support some of the poorest countries in the world selling products that are beautiful, handmade and top-quality. I spent at least 45 minutes browsing the store and after that I couldn't help but buy a dress for myself and stocking stuffers for friends and family! Courtney, the woman who runs the store along with volunteers, is very knowledgable and passionate about Ten Thousand Villages message. She spent some time telling me about the products I was buying and others tid bits about the store. The customer service was genuine and pleasant. Such a lovely experience.
Alexandria M — Google review
I love this store and come here often to buy unique gifts for friends and family, as well as one of a kind items for my new home. The staff have always been kind and friendly. Just a great shop. The last time I went, my Ganesh tattoo on my arm was visible. The lady checking me out asked about it, so I told her about Ganesh. The lady next to her said, I only need one Lord and Savior and that's Jesus Christ. I am not particularly religious, however, a shop selling items made from people all over the world is not the place I'd ever expect to find that kind of nasty religious judgement. I was shocked enough that my only response was to say good for you. I wish I had said more. I will not go back again. I love the store. I love what they do. I cannot tolerate religious hate and especially not so in a store that operates off of diversity. That kind of hypocrisy is beyond what I can do.
Rose C — Google review

Nestled in South Bend, Indiana, the Copshaholm House Museum is a stunning 38-room mansion that dates back to 1895. Built by industrialist J.D. Oliver, this historic house museum showcases exquisite vintage antiques and elegant decor that transport visitors back in time. The mansion has been meticulously preserved by the local historical society, allowing guests to explore its unmodernized interiors filled with original furnishings.
This is a beautiful historic mansion in South Bend that is lovingly kept up by the History Museum. I recently had friends say they went to the Studebaker Museum (which is on the house’ property) and didn’t take the house tour. They didn’t think it’d be worth the time. Don’t make the same mistake they did. This is an outstanding house tour. I love architecture and touring old homes when I can. The Oliver family gave their well maintained, unmodernized home, along with all of its antique contents, to the historical society. It’s a must see if you’re an architectural fan like me.

Extremely cute and nicely decorated shop mostly for middle-aged women though you can still find a lot of things for younger ladies as well. The quality of clothing seemed very good as well. Does Hugh Hatcher still drive customers vehicles in and out of the work bays? I most definitely would not feel safe knowing someone so hateful would be working on my vehicles. I think this person is a risk to the publics safety.
Jack B — Google review
As usual trying to return bottles to walmart was a nightmare, only the machine for glass bottles was working, the 5 for plastic bottles and aluminum cans were not. The people in line said the machines had just stopped working and that staff had been notified, 3 of the machines had full bins the other two some kind of control error. As we waited for a friendly and helpful associate to come and get the machines working again one by one, they gave up and took their returnables back to the vehicles, one abandoned their cart and bottles in front of the still machines. when I asked for a manager, I was told there was one just down the way when I asked for him to be pointed out the associate told me I was a misogynist and rude, turned his back to me and walked away. I can't wait for the Aldi to open down the street.
Jeff R — Google review
It's insulting to even shop there. They bottleneck the self-checkout, so you're stupidly standing with your money in hand, wating for the privilege of them accepting it. While your doing the work of would-be cashiers - for no employee discount. and they know, if you're detained in the store, you'll wander around and find more things to by - at your inconvenience. Too often, they're out stock of the things that you came to buy. They're too eager to ban customers from their store, who do things that they don't approve of. and there's just a nasty attitude about the place. I'm going to shop Martin's and Hardings - not far away, not much more expensive. I guess I'll still have to shop some at Niles Walmart, but only when necessary.
Bluehors3 — Google review
As a disclosure, let me just say Walmart is Walmart and Niles. Walmart is pretty good, but this is the third time I have went into the beauty side of the Walmart instead of the grocery side and there is an older gentleman there who is a greeter he is so racist it is ridiculous. I have tried Several times and no one will answer the phone. I have let it slide for three separate occasions thinking that he’s just an irritable gentleman, but when I walked past him and said good morning at 9:20 AM, he wouldn’t give me eye contact. He mumbled under his breath, but the Caucasian lady behind him he almost jumped out of his skin with a great big good morning. As petty as this may sound I spend hundreds of dollars in Walmart daily. I should not feel like less of a person if I’m going to spend my money here and I will continue to keep calling until I speak to someone or I’m never going back.
Meow™ T — Google review
Well where do I start. Their Grocery pick up can’t get anything right. I’ve gotten all the way home just to realize I do not have all my groceries. When you call or go up there they act as if they have the slightest clue of what’s going on or tells me to call customer service. They do not try to fix anything. I just need the rest of my groceries that I clearly never received but you want me to call Customer Service. What A JOKE.

Most of the people are very awesome. I'm an instacart shopper and everybody knows me up in there now. I only have one problem and it's a security guard for some reason he follows me around all the time and I'm about to tell the manager. It's the heavy set White security guard.
Steven — Google review
Kroger is doing a great job with prices. I compare and end up back at Kroger. Even over Aldi. However the grocery pick up is terrible!!! Notes are not read , subs are not even looked at . If I ask for green bananas I get brown ones with broken stems. I get items that are ready to expire the next day . Items are charged and not given. Items like my bread are bagged with canned goods and smashed. So what good are your prices if I have to throw out food or I'm missing food . Last trip they had to credit me $10 because of the notes and subs being ignored. How is that good for Kroger's bottom line of profit? $10 per person can add up really fast . Plus I'm ready to pay higher prices so I don't have to deal with this anymore!! Kroger please retrain your people in this position or stop offering the service
Kristy S — Google review
The prices are reasonable Here's whats not. One attendants working 8 self checkout and one register open. Everytime we come in There is sometimes just self checkout open. I haven't seen a price drop for them to have no registers and the line reaches clear down to the pharmacy. Now the other is not any better actually worse. This is the less of the two cheap stores. But they wanna partner up with Albertsons.. what a joke Kroger. Wake up the food prices are ridiculous everywhere and u offer a dollar off if u buy 5 or more.. WTH who needs to buy in bulk to get it home and it expires within a month. Be so for real cooperate. Also I was attacked outside the western one in Oct. Asked for someone to just walk me or watch me get to my car.. it was dead other then the group of gentlemen that kept circling me. I was told no by a very very large man child who told me no, we don't offer any security outside. There's a SBPD camera unit.. ummokkk worthless to me. That's to make sure ur catching whoever is stealing to recover YOUR ITEMS not for your customers safety. The reason I was at the store that late is my Dr was calling was calling in a script. A script that never got filled and they were closing. Have not had very good experiences with either.id advise get what u go for, don't longer and be safe. I wouldn't go after dark alone. Kroger does not care about your well being. That's not their problem regardless if it's their business.

Edit: Store is permanently closed. The best Kroger in the area. Nice selection of everything in each department. We got an amazing cake from the bakery made by Melissa. It was delicious and the decorations were top notch. Definitely recommend.
Michael — Google review
I went shopping over there yesterday and I was running a little later than I normally am I don’t like going to stores right before they close because if the roles were reversed I wouldn’t want someone coming in right at closing so I try to keep that in mind when I do go shopping but anyways it was probably 20 minutes before closing and The Joannes customer service ladies ringing me up were so nice and friendly and very helpful and that’s a big win for me! I like being able to ask a sewing question and not get my head bitten off or just looked at like they don’t have the time to answer my “ stupid” questions but I once was told no questions are ever stupid but anyways I think the ladies at Joann’s in Broadmoor plaza are awesome!

Men's clothing store
Retail chain selling brand-name clothing, shoes, accessories & housewares at discount prices.
I come often looking for good deals. I always end up buying too much. .
Janice H — Google review
Really upset with what I witnessed today. Two individuals walked out of the store with bags full of merchandise. The short dark-haired manager who was assisting us at the register did absolutely nothing about it. Not only did she ignore theft, she was ignoring her other customers and was far more interested in typing out a long text to someone on her phone. I'm not upset that she wasn't more attentive to her customers; I'm furious at the fact that had she put that phone down for even so much as a second, she would've looked up to see the two idiots running out the door with stolen merchandise. I don't know this girl's name, but she's always there when I stop in.
Autumn — Google review
Love this store...has so many things to offer. I love the variety of home decor and where I go to for gift shopping for all ages in my family. The clothing is great some pricey some not and the shoe selection is alright but could definitely use more. All in all its a great store
Ana W — Google review
Ross isn't too bad, but the problem is their small selection of products. The store is nice and organized, but at the same time, not enough Men's selection. Price is usually higher than in similar stores as well. But, if you're looking for products in a store that feels spacious, Ross stores are a must go.
Aldrin M — Google review
They have a big variety from clothing to housewares! Nice clean, organized store unlike other Ross stores I've been to that were kinda grungy. Friendly staff
Shell J — Google review
So I was just on this nice ross and this lady who says her name is her own personal information which idk what she’s on cause a name is a name so when we were in line she said you can back up I’m not done with her yet which I wasn’t even close so she was just being mean for no reason and when I was gonna ask her what is her name was which she did actually I found out her name is Jayden so back to the story when I went to ask her name also she did not give me it a baby fell and hit his head and she started laughing which I believe that she should be more respectful to paying customers in the end you fire her because you more nice to paying customers in conclusion fire her🔥
Maxwell B — Google review
The store was clean and well stocked considering the time of year. Even though the staff was being pulled every which way to handle customer needs and daily operations they were positive, upbeat, professional, and efficient. The volume of customers that were shopping during my visit exceeded the number of staff members in my opinion. It was very apparent that the team members customer service and ability to engage and provide a positive overall experience for each individual was the differentiator that could have easily went the opposite way. It was an experienced staff that likely excel in emotional intelligence that lead to a store full of customers leaving having had a positive experience and latter.

Prices were so much better than Kohl's. Plus this store stays open little later which is really nice for people who work & sleep different shifts. Variety was great, too.

I like shopping here. The inventory changes. Some furniture is available. Their prices are good. Handicap parking and handicap accessible. Restroom available.

This location is non-cluttered and the floor plan is well-designed. The store feels open and welcoming. Every item was neat and faced. It was easy to find what I was looking for and staff were very helpful.
Carol R — Google review
Good place Horrible worker Her name was Katie and she #1 doesn’t know how to manage a staff even tho she called herself a “Manager” She yells at employees in front of customers and she also cusses way to much and she also would be rude to customers as well. She smokes on the property and I’m a regular there (not anymore) but every time I go and she’s there she is always messy and doesn’t look like she came to work and instead looks like she just rolled out of bed. She has Horrible Customer Service and needs to be fired immediately the amount of rudeness she gives employees in front of me and others make this place loose my business. Never going here again as long as she works there Store 10/10 Employee 0/10
Sethborden — Google review
If your looking for things at discounted prices for the most part this is a good idea to start at. Nice and helpful staff. If you can't find what you are looking for in this store you are obviously on a different level than most of us. Mostly because the staff can almost tell u what your looking for while standing not to far from you with their eyes locked on you waiting for you to mess up. Respect the protecting your stuff as long as I'm respected in my space.
Chad S — Google review
When you walk in to see an employee, begin making your way towards them, and they make eye contact, instantly turning to walk through the door employees only can enter. I guess my question in price that had yesterday been of no knowledge to the cashier, hadn't been of imperishable, so let's make our way straight back our and to Dollar General.
Christina R — Google review
I absolutely love Big Lots as a store, not only for the variety of items they sell, but the price point on their merchandise it really helps, especially if you're on a budget. But unfortunately the employees aren't the friendliest, but i like would like to assume they were just having an off day, so go check it and find a good money saving deal, and fingers crossed you get good service also.
Tracy R — Google review
I used to love shopping at this Big Lots, but since they changed the lay out it's been a nightmare and I avoid it. As an older person with mobility issues the store is difficult to navigate. Aisles are often blocked or too narrow for the shopping cart. The items most frequently purchased (groceries, cleaning supplies) are located all the way at the back of the store. I understand, as a marketing plan, they want people to have to walk past the high dollar items like sofas and mattresses. These are not items that people buy weekly. Groceries are. Items are often lacking price tags or labeling. There used to be a wonderful selection of unique foods from around the world. Now it's the same stuff you find at any local grocery and the prices aren't much of a savings. Finding the check out is another issue. It is poorly marked and hard to find the tiny opening that runs you through a maze of more merchandise before you finally find the check out counters. I doubt I'll be back very soon to this Big Lots. It was great while it lasted, but this latest change has me shopping elsewhere.

I got the chance to have 2 piercings done by Emily here! I went in for an industrial the second time but did not have the anatomy for one. Regardless, Emily gave me some options and we picked this beautiful piece for my rook! Both times I felt extremely comfortable and everything was explained to me in great detail. I always knew what to expect and it was an overall awesome experience! I would recommend her or Noah to anyone looking for piercings in the South Bend area.

I came to Mystic Union after the renamed and were rebranded from Bicycle. They are still the most friendly and open-minded people. I have gotten two previous tattoos and they are always fantastic. You'll find an artist you love and then some. The owner is also very helpful and kind as well. If you have questions, he's a great person to ask.

First time there and it was wonderful! I got my septum and lip done by Emily, she's very wonderful and great to work with. They helped me get an idea of what would look nice with what I already have and I'm very happy with the results! The environment is amazing and comforting, the customer service was outstanding and overall easy to work with! If anyone wants a piercing or tattoo from here I recommend going.

My wife and I were in this weekend to get a forearm piece done by Sierra. She did an awesome job! Knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. Her color work pops, and black and grey was shaded really well, neat, and legible. Couldn’t recommend her or Mystic Union enough.
Josh F — Google review
I give Mystic Union 5 stars with no second thoughts. I went in for a dermal and was terrified but Noah talked me through every step and made it a very great experience. Practically painless. Shop was very clean and organized and staff was very friendly. He had an apprentice with him I forgot her name unfortunately but she was amazing as well. Great potential. Definitely recommend!

Amazing atmosphere, clean and super cool shop. Zachary Zessler has patiently worked with me to create some awesome dinosaur tattoos and I plan on getting a lot more! Definitely recommend

Got my conch piercing done here by Emily! Loved everything about this experience!! Emily took the time to explain everything, was incredibly nice, and did a fantastic piercing! Most welcoming, friendly, and professional piercing experience I’ve had.

I want to start off by saying my experience was already 5 stars before I came into the store. I'd been debating on getting my daiths pierced and messaged Noah. He answered all my questions and made me feel confident about my decision and I booked right away. Once getting to the store, I felt immediately welcomed and I felt confident that I'd come to the right place. Noah was nothing but amazing. He's easy to talk with, fun, and made the process of piercing worth every second. Thank you, Noah! I will definitely be back for more piercings!

If you're on the hunt for a one-stop shopping destination, look no further than Target! This retail chain is a treasure trove of home goods, clothing, electronics, and even exclusive designer collections. During my recent visit to Target while preparing my daughter for her college dorm move, I was impressed by how clean and organized the store was—no clutter blocking the aisles here! The staff at Target truly stand out; they are friendly and genuinely eager to assist you in finding what you need.
very organized aisles and easy to find everything. went for travel size dry shampoo, OxyClean spot cleaner, and Dot's pretzels and found it all within 15 minutes! i was running errands so it was a strange list lol

In my whole lifetime this Target Store is the most under staffed one I have ever seen. I came to this store to buy a bike. When I came to the store, even though someone came he didn’t know what’s going on. Need the store inventory match with the app.
Mushfiq M — Google review
Smaller Target that doesn't have fresh food options. It was also a bit messy on my visit and didn't have what I was looking for in stock.
Alex B — Google review
I felt like there was not a single associate working on the store. I had to walk around to find the back to school supplies in the back corner of the store. I used the app to find the aisle. The store is well lit, clean, wide aisles.

They've never answered the phones when I've called. Literally have tried all departments to speak with someone and it just rings and eventually hangs up. Great customer service.
