Points of Interest & Landmarks
The Military Heritage Museum, situated near Fishermens Village in Punta Gorda, Florida, offers over seventeen square feet of exhibits and activities. It provides a diverse range of ways for visitors to learn about the connections between civilians and the U.S. military branches through displays, libraries, movies, lectures, and a hands-on flight simulator. The museum features three galleries covering American history from the Revolution to modern conflicts.
Honors those who served, covered many conflicts and the people who served. Large library, multiple dioramas, models, and speakers (changes - so it may be different when you get there.) Don't miss the flight simulator or virtual reality head sets and laser shooting range. It's not real big, on 2 floors, elevator was out, stairs only. I would highly recommend going, but you'd have to go multiple times to read read everything.
William J — Google review
It's one of the best military museums i've been to. Great collection of badges, insignia, medals, and uniforms as well. Covers all eras starting from the American Revolutionary War, but also has a Spanish Conquistador section from early Florida. The staff is very helpful and friendly and they have a great gift shop. There is a large room that honors the Purple Heart and the Medal of Honor recipients. It has a few outside displays as well.
Dave R — Google review
Nice way to spend an afternoon if you like military history. Plenty to see and lots of memorabilia and historical artifacts. If you have anyone in your family like grandpa that served in the military like a Vietnam Veteran he really like this place. Takes about an hour to hour and a half to walk through and their simulations for flight and there are laser target practice ranges. All all pretty good I’d recommend this place.
Foxx T — Google review
Great attraction if you’re visiting Port Charlotte, Military Heritage Museum. Fun day to walk around. They have stimulation rooms. I believe you have to be 10 and up to go in was really cool. Recommend take the kids or your elderly family who may have served our country.
Chrissy F — Google review
They have done an amazing job recovering from Helene Wonderful displays! Enjoyed talking with the docent. Appreciated the covered parking. Hope they are able to get the elevator fixed soon.

Awesome place with lots of military history, virtual flight simulator, uniforms and lots of military memorabilia. The volunteers were amazing and funny. Nice hidden gem in Punta Gorda.
Ramon R — Google review
Awesome place, the staff is extremely friendly and knowledgable. You can learn a lot at this museum, it is not a very big museum but there is a lot of stuff for its size. It was great reading all the details and stories about both the history of the events illustrated and the story about the pieces of history. Overall a great place to visit.
Alex369 — Google review
I love this place, the staff and Veterans are lovely and very happy to share their experience and knowledge with the visitors. They make you so welcome and explain in detail all the great exhibits, layout and information of the many many wonderful collections of memorabilia contained in the large new building that houses the museum. You could happily spend a whole day here. The flight simulators are great fun and the virtual shooting range brings out the competitiveness in most people. Very well thought out and the vets ensure that your experience here is second to none. Respect and best wishes to you all ❤️

If you're planning an extended stay in Punta Gorda, make sure to carve out some time for a delightful day at Fishermen's Village. This charming spot is brimming with unique shops and eateries, perfect for leisurely exploration. While there, consider embarking on an adventure with King Fisher Fleet. They offer a fantastic array of sightseeing cruises that showcase the stunning beauty of Charlotte Harbor and its surrounding islands.
Thank you Captain Rick, Suzzane and Alan for such an amazing evening, on your sunset cruise! Everyone was so nice. Our twin granddaughters were thrilled, when Captain Rick invited them the opportunity to steer the boat. Dolphins joined our fun by racing alone side of us, and playing in the waves, it was incredible! A little rain did not stop our trip and gave us a back drop of a gorgeous rainbow. We highly recommend this trip. Also, Fisherman's Village was alive and well. The shops were open and we had a nice dinner, before our cruise! We will do this again!
Ray J — Google review
I have to say I had a wonderful time on my Sunset 🌅 cruise! It set sail with a threat of a misty rain, wind in my hair and a tiny bit choppy, normal to me because the clear skies returned with a beautiful sunset as promised so much so that she even kissed the Moon goodnight , as they showed themselves at the same time! I tried to capture some of it which I will attach. The Crew was fabulous. The very capable and handsome Captain Chris who made it a very safe trip and brought us all home safely! The first and second mates Robbie and Ken wonderful, who went out of their way to literally cater to our needs. Myself and a friend could not trust ourselves to go back down the stairs during the choppy part and Robbie went and got us our drinks ! 🍹 what a gentleman! Even the lovely lady at the ticket counter from New Zealand was a gracious and lovely lady! I forgot her name but she deserved a mention! Hard to find good customer service! I will be back again for another cruise! 🚢 My apologies to Ken as I forgot to take his pic!!

We had a wonderful time celebrating my wife’s birthday on the Charlotte Lady, sailing out of Fishermen's Village! Huge shout-out to Capt. Sam, Kathy, and Jill for making the 90-minute trip such a fun, laid-back adventure, while navigating a bit of local history. The waters were calm, the temps comfortable with sunny-but-not-too-sunny weather. Capt. Sam’s lighthearted warning to the passengers while underway: hold onto your hats—there's no turning back if they blow overboard, unless your head’s still in it!. It was a perfect way to spend time on the water with some great people. It was smooth sailing all the way!
Michael J — Google review
We had a great time with Captain Chris, Vince and Penny on the boat. It was an amazing experience and the highlight of our trip to Florida. It was a dream come true. He let us take pictures driving the boat. They let my 97 year old mom ring the bell at sunset. What a pleasure to have such a great time. Thank you for a wonderful vacation.
Tracy M — Google review
The cruise to Cabbage Key was fantastic! We saw several dolphin shows as we went there and returned. Fun fact: Cheer for the dolphins and they are more likely to do some cool tricks in the water. We saw a manatee as well at Cabbage Key. Captain Glen, Vince, and Alan (This was edited from Allen. My bad. 🙂) were fantastic. They came around the boat and chatted with all the passengers and made everyone feel special. The drinks were great as well!! This was such an amazing deal. They are open and ready for your group!!
David H — Google review
We just enjoyed our second trip to Cabbage Key with Kingfisher Fleet, and I can't recommend the experience enough. Captain Glenn, Suzanne, and Vince did a wonderful job, and the dolphins/manatees surely did not disappoint. Cabbage Key is also a treasure-- be sure to save time to check out the wildlife and enjoy some ice cream! My teens have asked that we make this tour a family tradition, which is high praise from that generation!
Jessi B — Google review
What a fabulous time going to cabbage key. Captain Rick, Ken & Penny were absolutely incredible. Everyone of the passengers were also friendly & terrific. I would definitely recommend this adventure. Saw dolphins at many times during the trip. Loved it.

Nature & Parks
Gilchrist Park is a 19-acre waterfront green space located in the heart of Punta Gorda Isles. It was purchased with funds from the Florida Community Trust and offers various amenities such as picnic areas, play spaces, tennis courts, and a fishing pier. The park hosts community events and provides sweeping views of Charlotte Harbor. Visitors can enjoy outdoor activities like walking, bird watching, photography, environmental education, and wildlife observation.
So beautiful to walk along waters edge on a level, safe sidewalk. It is refreshing and lifts my spirits to see all the nature, dolphins jumping, etc The benches are helpful to those who need a break or just want to take in the view. Hurricanes have tried to destroy this area but it remains glorious!
Darl M — Google review
We go to this part 3 to 5 times a week. Great trails, beautiful views, everyone is always so nice. Unfortunately some of the amenities were affected by the hurricanes this last season. However, it is still open, operational, and lots to do! Such a perfect end to a nice day, if you have a chance to get there. There is often drum circles, bands, individual musicians. Lots of dogs. Kids from 1 to 99 riding bikes or other various of fun transportation. Just overall a nice place to be.
Uhhh Y — Google review
Beautiful place to have a picnic , take a stroll or even practice sports. Plenty of space and parking. Lots of birds to watch and pet friendly!
Erika B — Google review
Beautiful little park to walk in. There’s still some damage from the hurricane to check out. Had a lovely walk by the water and around downtown Punta Gorda. We went on a Saturday afternoon and there was plenty of parking.
Darla D — Google review
Gilchrist Park has been my home town park since 1959. It existed long before our family arrived in Punta Gorda and continues strong to this day. Once rebuilt from the recent storms, I believe the park will rank highest in the state as far as scenic beauty and use. I do hope the various musicians return to play their home spun variety of favorites.. and I know for a fact, the setting sun will never dissapoint the visitor or residents of Punta Gorda. Gilchrest Park has been the community anchoring point throughout my life time. I hope someday to add my own commemoritive brick to the Ponce Deleone tribute statue and walkway.

Very beautiful view of the harbor. Clean and maintained. Definitely dog friendly.

Stunning sunset!!!! Very peaceful. Tennis courts are in great condition. Great for dog walking. Great trail boardwalk. Overall 10/10 highly recommend! I had a picnic with my puppy under a Banyan tree by the water once. Such a well-maintained park. Fabulous sunset view with the ocean!
Krissy S — Google review
This park was beautiful before and after the storms. They are still in the process of rebuilding some areas, but the playground is open, and it is a gorgeous place to take a nice stroll along the water, or lay a blanket out and read a good book. Lots of friendly people passing through, with their friendly dogs

History Park of Punta Gorda - Sunday Market is a dynamic establishment in Punta Gorda, Florida. It serves as a museum showcasing the area's rich history and culture through diverse exhibits and displays. The Sunday Market held at the park provides an exceptional shopping experience with local vendors offering handmade crafts, fresh produce, and delectable food. Additionally, the History Park Advisory Board advises the City Council on historical matters and identifies significant structures for preservation.
6-15-25 + 6-22-25. This history park was recommended to me. What a hidden gem this facility is. A group of 4-6 buildings, each with a specific craft. Glass, pottery, wood, fabric, ???. It is open to the public on Sunday's from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. it is a farmers market as well. Extremely friendly environment. I highly recommend. You should be aware to walk if you want to see it all.

My third time, 1st with my girl friend. Each time I thought to myself that I wished there were more vendors.
Geigh — Google review
Great area with all types of little buildings with different types of artisan shops, gardens and market vendors. We spent more than we planned and will return for the artisan crafts. A really relaxing shopping experience in a beautiful spot.
Wyrd W — Google review
I was very pleasantly surprised at the beauty of the park with all the tropical foliage. As a Master Gardener I was in total bliss and vaulted further into complete ecstasy when I toured the community garden! I gasped in awe and my mouth dropped open at the splendor of all the different ways people had worked out to fit a lot of vegetables in a small space. I talked to some nice people and was so impressed by the area that I plan to move there as soon as possible. I couldn’t be more happy with this area near the beach and beautiful city and pleasant people in a quality atmosphere. I’ve been all over Florida in my more than 50 years here and this area is right on top for a place to be.

Located in Punta Gorda, Florida, The Perfect Caper offers a casual yet elegant dining experience with creative dishes paired with vibrant cocktails and wine. The town itself is known for its waterside shopping and walking areas along the Harborwalk and at Fishermen's Village on Charlotte Harbor. In addition to its variety of shops, Punta Gorda is home to several museums including the Military Heritage Museum and The A.C. Freemen House Museum.
The Perfect Caper is an absolute gem with a warm, inviting ambiance that makes you feel like family from the moment you walk in. The highlight was definitely the mussel appetizer, which is a must-try!! It’s the dish that beat Bobby Flay, and rightly so! We also enjoyed the fantastic drinks that were perfectly crafted and definitely worth ordering. While the entrees weren’t our favorites, the appetizers more than made up for it. The staff, especially Rania and Zach, went above and beyond! Rania was incredibly helpful in guiding us through the menu, and Zach’s photo-taking added a special touch. Seeing the picture of Taylor Swift and Lorde with Chef Jeanie Roland was a fun surprise. The genuine hospitality and top-notch service truly set this place apart, and we can't wait to return to experience it all again!
Janelle R — Google review
The food at The Perfect Caper is always perfect! Very consistent. Excellent cuts of meat, great appetizers. If this restaurant was Located anywhere else in the world it would be standing room only. It's that good! Don't expect great service but worth it!
Angelique S — Google review
So I thought I had a reservation at a different restaurant but my bad. I screwed up and picked the wrong date. I thought no way would anyone else have a table for 2 on a Friday night in PG. we had been wanting to try it but simply haven’t made it there yet. I called and to my good fortune they were able to accommodate my wife and I for our anniversary. Our server was Zach. Seasoned professional! Told us of favorite items from both diners and staff on the menu. We started with the calamari. Perfection! Then my wife had divers scallops and I had the 8oz filet. Both were simply amazing! Then we finished with a salted caramel tart with homemade ice cream. Service was impeccable and everything moved right along at the perfect pace without being rushed or having to wait. It was an amazing experience and we will return. I wish we would’ve went sooner.
John S — Google review
WOW! This was an unbelievable experience! The food is simply jaw dropping. The selection; the attention to detail; the presentation; the quantity and the taste - all superlative! Our server Jenny was so lovely and very knowledgeable and helpful. I had the Thai curry mussels as an entree and Gary had the tempura shrimp - I don’t think I’ve ever seen shrimp that large - even in Thailand! Even if you don’t have room for dessert you must try the butter tart - it’s huge and so delicious!! I don’t know how anyone could eat one alone but Jenny claims she could do it!! Don’t know about that! she’s such a wee bit of a thing! Only drawback was we were seated beside a large group of business people that were very loud. When the owner said - is this table ok? He offered another that was equally as close. It was very loud and not as romantic as we had hoped for. Everything else outweighed that though. We’ll definitely be back!
JENNIFER W — Google review
We had a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant. I ordered the New York steak and my boyfriend had a pork dish, both of which were absolutely delicious. The presentation was beautiful and made you want to dive right in. The meat was juicy, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavor. You could really tell the quality of the ingredients and the chef’s great work. This is definitely a place I’d love to return to and highly recommend to anyone who appreciates a good cut of meat. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!
Yania M — Google review
Husband and I went for our Anniversary dinner and our waiter Bobby was awesome. The appetizer, drinks, dinner, and dessert was outstanding! I absolutely would recommend this place! Thank you for a wonderful experience! We'll definitely be back!

So happy we found this place. The food was amazing. We ordered the calamari as an appetizer. I got the pork chop and my husband got the scallops. They were delicious. We also ordered the carrot cake and chocolate cake—-yummy!!!
KAG — Google review
Phenomenal, each & every time! Pictured in order are The Fried Mushroom, Calamari, Crabcake, Burger of the Day (all from today), then A Warm Goat aside The Fried Mushroom and Seared Scallops (from 01/2024) Today was my mom’s birthday & we’ve been here before but this was our first lunch experience. We had Amanda, who executes her service with incredible kindness, knowledge, and sincerity. That’s vital, to have a server who is Sincere. She’s not going to sell you anything based on dollar signs! You’d do yourself a solid to ask for her. Let’s talk food! The Fried Mushroom is something I get every time…it’s not breaded! It’s flash fried, served over whipped goat cheese, drizzled with balsamic & olive oil, s & p, & accompanied by delightful toast points & arugula. You must try it!!!! The calamari exceeds any calamari I have ever had in any other restaurant. The spicy sweet chili sauce is outstanding! The batter is light and the combination of flavors is exquisite. We each got the burger of the day…today served with a bacon mayo, red peppers, provolone cheese as well as a side of frites. They have the best frites ever! I had those first because they don’t heat up very well. I tried to work on the burger—it’s HUGE! My mom ate about half of hers, but I have also gotten an à la carte crabcake. Love the à la carte options! You can add a scallop or a crabcake or shrimp. I couldn’t choose between the crabcake and the burger, so it worked fab, as that crabcake is delectable beyond measure! Guess what?! It’s also Gluten free!!! The roasted red pepper lemon butter—oh my God I could eat it with a spoon! We didn’t get dessert today because we have the Birthday Cake they make already. It’s on their special’s menu this week & you’ll not ever have anything finer. Amanda made sure we were well cared for and Gabe, the manager, checked on us several times, wishing my mom a happy birthday. Love them both! Let’s talk about the atmosphere. It’s very understated and simple. I personally love it. It’s quite comfortable and I can focus on just enjoying the culinary adventure laid before me, which isn’t that what going to a fine dining establishment should really be about? We sat in a lovely booth, which was comfy as can be, very quiet, and, like I said, just simple. I have a relative in the music industry so here’s my analogy: he always said the more trucks and equipment a band takes, the more they are trying to “wow” you with something other than their musical abilities. In my opinion, a restaurant is not much different! Decor can definitely add something but in my opinion, it’s not necessary to be over the top when you have over the top food. The Perfect Caper does in fact have food that consistently exceeds expectation. This is the best food that I’ve had in southwest Florida. Consistently. The Perfect Caper makes my tail wag, each and every time.

Perch 360 Rooftop Restaurant & Bar, located atop The Wyvern Hotel, offers stunning views of downtown Punta Gorda and Charlotte Harbor. Guests can savor seasonal tapas plates alongside cocktails, beer, and wine while enjoying the picturesque water vistas. The farm-to-table menu features high-quality ingredients sourced from local vendors or the hotel's rooftop herb garden.
This a nice roof top bar. 360 as advertised! We were there on 1/18/25 around 4:30. The bartender was very nice and informative for drinks and other info. We didn’t have any food, so no comment on that. The drink prices were lower than I thought they would be.
Richard C — Google review
We went there with a group for Cinco de Mayo. They were understaffed, did not have any Cuervo Gold and had premixed margaritas that we fizzy. You would think that a wonderful venue like that with 360 degree views of the area would have been better prepared. It took our group over an hour to get their food. Most of it was good but not hot as it should have been. Parking was free to the side of the building. Most of our checks had to be redone because of mixup. They could be a premier spot with just a little more training.
T. W — Google review
I actually heard about this place reading the in flight magazine on an Allegiant flight. Sounded cool so I thought I would give it a try. We were immediately greeted with a smile and told to pick any table we would like. From there the service was very attentive and charming. We ordered drinks which were delivered immediately. The entire time we were there our server continuously checked on us to make sure we didn’t need/want anything. We ordered food and it was outstanding! It came out quickly and tasted great! We ordered three items and it was under $25! Are you kidding me! The food presentation is equal to something you see at a high end, very expensive restaurant. Great food, great service, great prices, great vibes! We will be back!

Love this place and can’t wait to return for breakfast to see the sunrise or dinner to see the sunset. The view is fantastic! Servers are friendly. Drinks and food are well priced for a hotel and are tasty as well.

This is one of the most beautiful hotels I've stayed at in Florida.. there is a restaurant downstairs which I didn't have enough days to check out..but I did get a burger at the rooftop bar"' it had a great flavor but I had ordered it cooked medium and it was bloody and still mooing.. thankfully I was able to salvage it by nuking it in the microwave in my room..the steak sandwich again had flavor but was really to tough to eat..both sandwiches were disappointing at $18 plus tax apiece so 2 sandwichs for $36 bucks and they charged $8 and $6.00 additional dollars for the bad hard cold fries (thankfully the tater tots I had were delicious..) so for 2 sandwiches and a small side of french fries and tater tots we paid a total 49 plus tax and we did tip 22% ...the drinks we had earlier at the bar were good.. but took a bit to initially get "the young man who assisted me finally ( I wish I could remember his name) was friendly and helpful but his co-workers 2 young ladies pretty much ignored us and were to busy gossiping to each other to even greet us.. if not for the young man who we motioned over to request" if he could wait on us "thankfully he said yes for the views up there are awesome and it really is a great space to chill at..if not for him we would had left... The rooftop is definitely a great place to hang if you have the right servers/ bartender but it seemed most of them upstairs need major training.

Had dinner and drinks this evening, 5/3/25. Food was wonderful, I had Waygu beef sliders, excellent. My cousin had chicken quesadilla, also excellent. Drinks were also excellent, Breezy Bahama Mamma and Sunset Mojito. Amanda was an excellent server and made wonderful food and drink recommendations! A must do when in Punta Gorda!

Visiting family here. They were excited to bring us to this rooftop bar. The place had about a half dozen tables occupied. We could not get waited on so we went to the bar to purchase drinks. The bartender was miserable. She didn't ask if we would like something. She just looked at us. No one ever came to our table to ask us if we would like something to eat. We had the one drink we purchased at the bar and left. The drinks were just okay. We will not be returning.I will not recommend this place to anyone.

We sat at the bar for 10+ minutes and totally ignored. We are not picky and not one to complain but……. It was awful. The people next to us offered their menus before anyone else, WHATS WITH THAT. Great drink and lunch but definitely will not go back AWFUL AWFUL SERVICE. Rachel is the so called manager what a joke she’s the worst bartender ever!!! 👎🏻👎🏻

We had dinner and it was very delicious. I had Flatiron Steak with Demi sauce and my hubs had Prime. The service was attentive and caring. It is a beautiful place

Ate there with 12 close friends for dinner. The view is unbelievable. Food was very good and worth the price. Drinks are a bit pricey. Service was a step above most places. Table clothes and beautiful clean dinning room made for a special night. Music wasn’t necessary. We were there to converse. We were disappointed that we did not get to sit a one table but they reassured us that next time , to request one large table and they would accommodate us. Totally enjoyed our night together.

We really enjoyed the Easter buffet with friends and family. The buffet was set up perfectly. The ham and prime rib carving stations were delicious. Ate too much shrimp cocktail. Ice cream was real chocolate. Even had our picture taken with the Easter Bunny. A very lovely day. The yacht club looks wonderful . The views are spectacular.

We went yesterday for dinner to see if membership in the Yacht Club would be a good fit. Was amazed at the quality of food, service and beautiful views. We joined last night and look forward to enjoying the club. The members we met were so friendly.

Beautiful facility. I was there for a private event. I'm not sure if they knew how many were going to be there, but service was extremely slow. Some tables were finished eating and we hadn't ordered our food yet! Just an FYI, the tip is already on the bill.

Great show! They run the track right, and orderly. Food was reasonable. Just better bring cash, they don't take debit

Great time 15.00 to get in 30.00 pit passes.Sprint cars, Modified and more. You can bring chairs or sit on bleachers, they sell beer and food.Next race Dec 2 2017
Cheryl — Google review
4/15/17 was at the track for the races (which is more than likely still going) . We bring our chair to sit and watch the races, like a lot of other people. We paid just like everyone else to get in the gate to watch the races, mind you , I said races. I had to go up to the older gentlemen taking tickets at the gate and ask him if there was anything they could do about the people standing up at the fencenter drinking their beer and blocking everyone in our area of all of turns 1 and 2. They sent a staff member up to them and ask them to step away from the frnce. They took one step back. Duh.... still can't see the race. So they asked them to step back behind the yellow line. Which they did . ..... for about 15 minutes. Then block turns 1 and 2 again. With a stafif member of the track standing right there. We got up gathered our things and left. As I walked past the staff member I said loud enough for him to hear " I won't waste my money coming here again . My boyfriend stopped and told him about the situation and he did nothing. He also stopped and talked to the woman in the ticket booth. Which all she could say is you'll have to go talk to the owner. We should not have to hunt down the owner to complain about a situation that they staff themselves should had been able t o handle. I will not go back and I also will no recommend this track to anyone. We were not the only ones complaining about it. The people sitting in their chairs next to us were too. We didn't think that everyone around us would all have to go to the staff members before any thing would be done. There was plenty of places to sit in the bleachers. If I wanted to pay to watch people drink I would have went to a bar. I went to the races to be a b le to watch them! If the problem is not rectified I see you losing a lot of race fans!

Ok I just found out about the event the day before. The discout tickets were all gone. Fine... I had to pay the gate prices. Way too expensive! Then no Veteran's discount? Seriously? The ticket booth said it was the monster truck people. The monster truck people said it was up to the track. YOU BOTH SHOULD BUT ASHAMED! This is my last time coming

During the event, loved ones can purchase flags from Rotary, which are then sent to them as mementos after the ceremony. The atmosphere is enhanced by the presence of pipers, adding to the beauty of the setting. It's also a great place for leisurely walks and quiet contemplation, making it an ideal spot for families to visit and remember those who have served.

Great day walking through Peace River Botanical, and Sculpture Gardens. We got lucky and saw the stone sculpture show from Zimbabwe. The gardens were spectacular. We walked on wide concrete paths mostly. There was also several sturdy boardwalks. A few trails were crushed shells in good shape. The many stone carvings were high quality and beautiful. Lots of birds and animals and people. ZimSculp Show ends 4/20/25
Charles C — Google review
We loved it! They had a Zimbabwe sculpture exhibition when we went, and there were a lot of sculptures for sale in the tent. The mangroves were gorgeous, and the plant life was stunning. The gift/snack shop was a welcome relief from the heat, and they offered some good frozen snacks. They even had ice cream for dogs! My favorite part was the gazebo that extended into the Peace River. Great view! The only thing I'd change would be to add some shade on the walk to the riverside of the place. The parking was up by the welcome booth, sculptures, and butterfly house, but you have to go down past the entrance and across the street the see most of the plants. We didn't mind. It was just hot. And we went in March. Other than that, we loooved it! Would absolutely recommend.
Deer R — Google review
They are still re planting from the last hurricane in 2024. It will probably take 10 years before the grounds look beautiful again. The sculptures are in great condition, so that may be of interest to you. I was more interested in the botanic gardens. The little butterfly pavilion had many pretty butterflies and flowers.
Tim B — Google review
Wonderful find! This is a beautiful sculpture garden with paths through gardens. There is a gift shop with bathrooms. A friendly and knowledgeable staff that greats you at the welcome booth. There are very healthy plants you can purchase as well. Portable toilets at parking area. We spent a wonderful 2 hours.

This is such a lovely place! They have a wonderful koi fish pond, beautiful sculptures, a butterfly house, and such a nice gift shop. Plus we got to see some beautiful wildlife. I added a picture of a grasshopper and a picture of a bird that we spotted there
Erin S — Google review
Wonderful place to wander and enjoy outdoor sculptures and beautiful botanical gardens! We really enjoyed the butterfly house and the variety of plants grown here. The sculptures were truly unique and placed beautifully within the gardens. The Koi pond is a lovely addition! Highly recommend to visitors of the area!

The beautifully landscaped gardens feature a diverse array of plants and vibrant blooms, creating a picturesque backdrop for leisurely strolls. The standout sculptures, positioned throughout the property, add an intriguing artistic flair, sparking conversation and contemplation. Overall, it’s a delightful destination for nature lovers and art enthusiasts alike.

I visited some years ago shortly after the opening. Our family was visiting from Missouri and an advertisement regarding Pineapple Fest at the Peace River Botanical & Sculpture Gardens it was time to revisit this local gem! We had a wonderful day and everyone agreed it was well worth our time and money. We decided to invest in a membership and look forward to going back again and again!
