Located in Punta Gorda, Belize, Laishley Crab House is a popular seafood restaurant offering fresh crab dishes and stunning waterfront views. Situated along the picturesque harbor, it has become a favorite spot for both locals and visitors to enjoy various crab specialties while taking in the beautiful surroundings.
Twice here, amazing both times. Service from start to finish was wonderful and very attentive. Atmosphere was casual but beachfront nice and perfect to celebrate a birthday a date night or just a nice dinner out. Food was fresh and cooked perfectly. Well seasoned in every dish and obviously freshly made. We will be back many more times for sure.

Its on the water, the view was beautiful and we sat outside. I had mermaid water, smoked salmon Bagel sushi roll, Oyster Rockefeller was absolutely amazing. Everything was delicious. Service was stellar. Great atmosphere for all families. Prices are on point for what you are getting. I highly recommend.

LOOKS ARE DECEIVING! So much to say about this meal. Do NOT eat here! Service was good. But when a customer eats 2 bites of the meal and you ask, did you not like the food" I say no. Typically that should be addressed. Nope. Paid and left. Wife order grouper laishley. Fish so dry and over cooked. I had the grouper sandwich. The bun was so dry it crumbled when I picked up and my grouper was over cooked and very fishy, aka old. Fries were old, cold and no salt. We had the artichoke crab dip. No flavor and a big ball of cream cheese in the middle. Old plastic glasses for soda and water. So many fails. Tap beer $7.

Laishley Crab House I have been wanting to stop by this place for a while and I finally got the chance to. I just love this place. They are on the 2nd floor but have an elevator to help get you there. The inside is huge with a very large bar area and a massive Crab hanging from the ceiling. There are lots of seating on the inside but where I believe where they shine is the seating on the Patio overlooking the River and Harbor. The view is just amazing. For an Appetizer we ordered the Shrimp Cocktail and a bowl of Clam Chowder to share. For our main orders I got the Captain’s Platter which had Shrimp, Clam Strips, Grouper, Hush Puppies Fries or Coleslaw. My wife ordered the Blackened Scallop Salad which had Blackened Scallops served over a Spring Mix with Strawberries, Walnuts and Raspberry Vinaigrette Dressing. Our Appetizers came out first and they looked good, and they were. The Shrimp were large, and the Clam Chowder was very good. Our main orders came out they looked amazing. They were very good, and our plates were full. All our food was hot and very flavorful. Our waiter Billy was on the ball with any needs we had, and he checked on us many times. I loved the service, the food, and the views. I for one can’t wait to go back and you should make sure to stop by and visit this place. I Must give this place 5 out of 5 stars. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Follow Me On FB For More Reviews & Fun Gulf Coast Terry

Delicious! Everything was on point for our early dinner. The scallops, mahi mahi, and crab cakes were all tasty. The servers were friendly and attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

Coming back to Lashley’s Crab House after 8 years later felt like catching up with an old friend—one that still knows how to serve great food and flex with the best sunset in town. I used to live here before I joined the military, so this wasn’t my first visit—but it still hit different. My wife ordered the steak salad, and I’m pretty sure it could get its own fan club. I went with sushi, because why not be the rebel who orders raw fish at a crab house? Zero regrets—fresh, flavorful, and gone in about three minutes. We kept it simple with waters and lemon (hydration over hangovers, baby), but the atmosphere didn’t need dressing up. Lashley’s shines on its own. If you want a truly memorable experience, plan ahead. This place is known for its waterfront sunset views, and the golden hour here is next-level. Get there early or make a reservation—trust me, it’s worth it. Still just as special as I remembered. We’ll be back—maybe next time we’ll even try the crab. Or not. Sushi squad for life. Spent about $57 for two people (this is including tip) ***they offer military discount***

We live in Fort Myers and decided to spend the day in Punta Gorda. We reserved a table for 6 o’clock. We were immediately seated with our server showing up quickly, taking our order for drinks and appetizers. All of the food came out rather fast and was delicious. We had con fritters, sushi, rolls, and seafood nachos. Our only issue was running out of beverages during our meal and having to find someone to locate our server. I would definitely recommend restaurant and will return in the future.

Wow! A great lunch… sushi, salad, and a wrap was tasty. Heather was an attentive server and was always right on time. Veterans, they have a discount just for us. Thank You Laishley Crab House!

Dinner was beyond delicious. Come expecting superior service. Beau was our server and was delightful. Portions are generous. They even have gluten free pasta as an option. Soup or salad with each meal, and the salad was just so yummy as well. Authentic Italian with a great setting. Go a little earlier than sunset so you can walk across to catch it set.

This was our first visit to Carmelo’s. Nathan was an attentive server. He made excellent suggestions and helped pace our dinner out perfectly. The food was divine. We started with Bada Bing with sausage. Entrees were Chicken Valentina and Lasagna. Dessert was a cannoli and crème brûlée. Everything was so good and I cannot recommend this restaurant enough.

This place is an absolute vibe! High quality food/drinks. Service is phenomenal. The place offers indoor and outdoor seating, including on the front porch and courtyard where you can really enjoy the atmosphere. I’ve been here a handful of times and have enjoyed everything I’ve ordered. Highly recommend this place and to make reservations beforehand (preferably days before!)

Once again we found ourselves at Carmelo’s Italian Ristorante celebrating another wedding anniversary. The cuisine is an absolute out of this world palette pleaser! So delicious! The service was attentive and exceptional, with their talented staff making sure we had a delightful dining experience. This is one of our favorite places to eat in Punta Gorda. Thank you Travis for making celebration so memorable.

Excellent Service, server was courteous, knowledgeable and friendly. Food came out promptly, at temperature and was the best Italian fare we’ve had in the Port Charlotte/Punta Gorda area! W ordered the “Bada Bing” w house made sausage and shrimp scampi as apps! Wonderful! Dishes ordered were Chicken Piccata, Sachettini w shrimp, shrimp and scallop limoncello, and Spaghetti Pescatore, all were delicious and served with soup or house salad! Every dish ordered was well received and raved about! We will DEFINITELY be returning to try other dishes! We highly RECOMMEND!!!

Wow. This is our 2nd time here, and both times, the food was delicious. We made a reservation beforehand, and our table was just finished being set up when we arrived. Our whole table was impressed with each of the dishes. At the end of the meal, they brought out the dessert tray. I could have ordered 1 of everything because it looked so good. We had the bread pudding with Gelato on it. It was really good. We also took a slice of chocolate cake to go. It was busy but our waitress was still pretty attentive. Bathrooms were clean. The table was a bit small for a party of 6 and all the plates we had, but we made it work. If you are looking for a relaxing evening and a delicious meal, then this is the place to go. You can even watch the sunset at the park across the street after your meal.

Best dining experience I have ever had. Atmosphere was comfortable and inviting. Service was amazing. And the food was worth every penny. Made our anniversary dinner one we won’t forget.

Wow… I don’t know how one has anything negative to say other than there isn’t enough space in their stomach for all of the delicious food. RUN HERE DONT WALK.. We drove 40 minutes for this and plan on making it a regular date spot, Linda (Collin was training) were both amazing and would come back for the service alone. We can’t wait to come back

We had christmas dinner here tonight. The food was delicious. We had the Mexican street corn deviled eggs, prime pork rib and the meatloaf. My husband also had a bourbon smash which he loved. We shared a slice of the chocolate cheesecake for dessert. Oh my, it was sinfully delicious. It was extremely busy, and they made over 600 dinners for people. Even though they were busy, the staff was in great spirits and attentive. Denise was wonderful. She made our evening even better. Thank you all for being open and serving so many people. We will definitely be back.

What a great meal! Thank you Angie for the great service. Summer specials available are very good. Asian Wontons were great. New England Clam Chowder was thick and delicious. Took a chance and ordered the French Onion Meatloaf and loved it.

The food was alright, nothing special. It’s a little bit pricey for the amount of serving. We paid $86 for these two meals and 1 cocktail. Service was great though.

I'm from Ohio and was visiting my mom and daughter. I was so happy to find this eatery. The food was amazing, and the service was top-notch. The first course was the free rolls and butter. The second course was Boom Boom Shrimp. The slaw was fresh, and the shrimp was perfectly seasoned and had a good texture. We also had the spaghetti stuffed grande meatball (from the Italia restaurant on the other side). It was huge and had spaghetti inside and a rich tomato sauce on top. The third course was our entree. I had the special. Perfectly cooked scallops over potatoes and veggies. Lastly, we had cheesecake for dessert (one was coffee and the other mango). I was surprised how much I enjoyed the mango cheesecake! Prices are mid-range (a tad more than a chain like Longhorn). Service was above average. Daniel was our server, and drinks were filled up quickly, and he checked back in with us frequently enough to be attentive but not annoying. I will definitely be back!

Had the Pot Roast again just delicious also tried the chicken pot pie…it was amazing!!! Our server was super too! And Drew’s drinks wow! Cant go wrong 😋

If you are in the Punta Gorda downtown area definitely do not hesitate to experience this gem! The food is phenomenal and very flavorful as well as the presentation being spectacular. I went for the first time yesterday and Amanda(the waitress) provided great recommendations from appetizers to the main meal. Plus Amanda was very attentive, kind, professional, and a great personality that provided exceptional service! Do not think twice about going to River City Grill as you will not be let down.

Excellent experience from the minute we walked in! Very attentive, proficient server who was very knowledgeable about the specials and popular menu items. Great mixologists on the free-poured cocktails and good dinner quality wine. I ordered the Tampa Cracker Ribeye steak and I can’t think of a time I’ve had it’s equal. I look forward to my next visit!

Probably the best restaurant in downtown Punta Gorda! The drinks, appetizers and food were delicious. We had the spicy tiger shrimp, salmon and pumpkin cheesecake. Service was excellent, and the atmosphere inside was cozy and unique. Can't wait to return when I am back in Florida.

Located in Punta Gorda, Florida, The Perfect Caper offers a casual yet elegant dining experience with creative dishes paired with vibrant cocktails and wine. The town itself is known for its waterside shopping and walking areas along the Harborwalk and at Fishermen's Village on Charlotte Harbor. In addition to its variety of shops, Punta Gorda is home to several museums including the Military Heritage Museum and The A.C. Freemen House Museum.
The Perfect Caper is an absolute gem with a warm, inviting ambiance that makes you feel like family from the moment you walk in. The highlight was definitely the mussel appetizer, which is a must-try!! It’s the dish that beat Bobby Flay, and rightly so! We also enjoyed the fantastic drinks that were perfectly crafted and definitely worth ordering. While the entrees weren’t our favorites, the appetizers more than made up for it. The staff, especially Rania and Zach, went above and beyond! Rania was incredibly helpful in guiding us through the menu, and Zach’s photo-taking added a special touch. Seeing the picture of Taylor Swift and Lorde with Chef Jeanie Roland was a fun surprise. The genuine hospitality and top-notch service truly set this place apart, and we can't wait to return to experience it all again!

The food at The Perfect Caper is always perfect! Very consistent. Excellent cuts of meat, great appetizers. If this restaurant was Located anywhere else in the world it would be standing room only. It's that good! Don't expect great service but worth it!

So I thought I had a reservation at a different restaurant but my bad. I screwed up and picked the wrong date. I thought no way would anyone else have a table for 2 on a Friday night in PG. we had been wanting to try it but simply haven’t made it there yet. I called and to my good fortune they were able to accommodate my wife and I for our anniversary. Our server was Zach. Seasoned professional! Told us of favorite items from both diners and staff on the menu. We started with the calamari. Perfection! Then my wife had divers scallops and I had the 8oz filet. Both were simply amazing! Then we finished with a salted caramel tart with homemade ice cream. Service was impeccable and everything moved right along at the perfect pace without being rushed or having to wait. It was an amazing experience and we will return. I wish we would’ve went sooner.

WOW! This was an unbelievable experience! The food is simply jaw dropping. The selection; the attention to detail; the presentation; the quantity and the taste - all superlative! Our server Jenny was so lovely and very knowledgeable and helpful. I had the Thai curry mussels as an entree and Gary had the tempura shrimp - I don’t think I’ve ever seen shrimp that large - even in Thailand! Even if you don’t have room for dessert you must try the butter tart - it’s huge and so delicious!! I don’t know how anyone could eat one alone but Jenny claims she could do it!! Don’t know about that! she’s such a wee bit of a thing! Only drawback was we were seated beside a large group of business people that were very loud. When the owner said - is this table ok? He offered another that was equally as close. It was very loud and not as romantic as we had hoped for. Everything else outweighed that though. We’ll definitely be back!
JENNIFER W — Google review
We had a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant. I ordered the New York steak and my boyfriend had a pork dish, both of which were absolutely delicious. The presentation was beautiful and made you want to dive right in. The meat was juicy, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavor. You could really tell the quality of the ingredients and the chef’s great work. This is definitely a place I’d love to return to and highly recommend to anyone who appreciates a good cut of meat. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

So happy we found this place. The food was amazing. We ordered the calamari as an appetizer. I got the pork chop and my husband got the scallops. They were delicious. We also ordered the carrot cake and chocolate cake—-yummy!!!

Phenomenal, each & every time! Pictured in order are The Fried Mushroom, Calamari, Crabcake, Burger of the Day (all from today), then A Warm Goat aside The Fried Mushroom and Seared Scallops (from 01/2024) Today was my mom’s birthday & we’ve been here before but this was our first lunch experience. We had Amanda, who executes her service with incredible kindness, knowledge, and sincerity. That’s vital, to have a server who is Sincere. She’s not going to sell you anything based on dollar signs! You’d do yourself a solid to ask for her. Let’s talk food! The Fried Mushroom is something I get every time…it’s not breaded! It’s flash fried, served over whipped goat cheese, drizzled with balsamic & olive oil, s & p, & accompanied by delightful toast points & arugula. You must try it!!!! The calamari exceeds any calamari I have ever had in any other restaurant. The spicy sweet chili sauce is outstanding! The batter is light and the combination of flavors is exquisite. We each got the burger of the day…today served with a bacon mayo, red peppers, provolone cheese as well as a side of frites. They have the best frites ever! I had those first because they don’t heat up very well. I tried to work on the burger—it’s HUGE! My mom ate about half of hers, but I have also gotten an à la carte crabcake. Love the à la carte options! You can add a scallop or a crabcake or shrimp. I couldn’t choose between the crabcake and the burger, so it worked fab, as that crabcake is delectable beyond measure! Guess what?! It’s also Gluten free!!! The roasted red pepper lemon butter—oh my God I could eat it with a spoon! We didn’t get dessert today because we have the Birthday Cake they make already. It’s on their special’s menu this week & you’ll not ever have anything finer. Amanda made sure we were well cared for and Gabe, the manager, checked on us several times, wishing my mom a happy birthday. Love them both! Let’s talk about the atmosphere. It’s very understated and simple. I personally love it. It’s quite comfortable and I can focus on just enjoying the culinary adventure laid before me, which isn’t that what going to a fine dining establishment should really be about? We sat in a lovely booth, which was comfy as can be, very quiet, and, like I said, just simple. I have a relative in the music industry so here’s my analogy: he always said the more trucks and equipment a band takes, the more they are trying to “wow” you with something other than their musical abilities. In my opinion, a restaurant is not much different! Decor can definitely add something but in my opinion, it’s not necessary to be over the top when you have over the top food. The Perfect Caper does in fact have food that consistently exceeds expectation. This is the best food that I’ve had in southwest Florida. Consistently. The Perfect Caper makes my tail wag, each and every time.

The atmosphere created by Irish-native Kevin Doyle makes it an incredible place to savor traditional pub food while enjoying a pint of Guinness.
This is a great place for Irish food, good live music and a great vibe. The Guinness Bacon Cheeseburger Pasty was awesome. There is also an amazing beer selection. This will become one of my regular spots m.

Really cool Public house. Lots of seating, huge bar, excellent food, great beer, friendly staff, it’s just a good place to stop and eat and grab a pint of Guinness. We had shepherds pie and fish and chips and enjoyed every bit of it. Portions are hefty and worth every penny. For dessert we had Dublin tart - baileys and chocolate…yes please! If you like spicy ask for the hot sauces!

The staff, service, drinks, and food is top-notch. We sat outside and listened to the band and they were fantastic. I highly recommend the fish and chips. This place is a must if you are in the area. You will always have a great time.

This was our first time visiting Celtic Ray. I had shepherd’s pie. It was tasty and filling. My husband had the stew. The beef was tender and delicious. He enjoyed his Guinness- his favorite beer. Next time we want to try their fish and chips. It looks plentiful and delicious.

Situated above Harpoon Harry's, it boasts stunning views of Charlotte County and features charming nautical decor with a pirate ship attached to its front. The restaurant provides an array of hand-cut steaks, fresh Gulf seafood, and daily specials prepared by an award-winning chef.
From the moment we walk through the beautiful doors we felt the enthusiasm of the staff to serve. Our hostess met us with a smile an engaging conversation; We were then seated with a spectacular view of the harbor. Our waitress was such a joy; she had a sixth sense of when to engage in conversation and when to let us be. She was always there (somehow) when we needed her. The food was excellent and very tasty; my compliments to the chef!!!! As a young 18 year old this place is where I took my now wife of 35 years for our first date. So, to be able to celebrate our 35 wedding anniversary here has been a wonderful treat. The Captain’s Table did not disappoint and is a must if one is looking for fine dining, fine food, fine atmosphere, and a wonderful staff.

My wife took me here for my birthday. It’s been a while since we were here because we had a bad experience with service. But we are sure glad we went back. Couldn’t have been better. Food was excellent, atmosphere perfect and service top notch. Sat on balcony at a high top and watched a gorgeous sunset over the harbor. Our waiter Ari was the absolute best. Great guy and obviously very experienced. Super friendly and very attentive. Super pleased with the entire experience.

Visited the Captain’s Table one last time. Do sad that it is closing. After 45 years, it is one of the best waterfront restaurants in Southwest Florida. We have enjoyed coming here for years. The food is always excellent, the calamari is perfect, the bread is warm, the honey butter is yummy. Our waitress Corrina was top notch. If you can get here soon, enjoy.

Wonderful place with a great view. The service was excellent and the food was ok. The prices are reasonable as well. The only critique would be that there’s room for improvement with the food quality.

Deliciously tasty!!!! I had the Lobster with stuffed crab cake. The honey butter is sooooo delicious and TY Ari for my care package to go! A must visit if you’re in the area! I even was able to get the sunset!

We had our wedding at the captains table in the back room. We booked it a few months in advance maybe September.. We met with Michelle Mancini she was our booking organizer. Many wonderful ideas of how to decorate as we had a Messianic ceremony. We went in a few weeks before to measure and see how guests would be seated. We had more than we had originally planned so going to have some on deck instead of the music out there. On arriving to Captians table we found we’re no longer able to use the deck was damaged in the hurricane. It was unusable and not be fixed before our day and I think I stood there and cried silently, not knowing what was going to happen. We left disheartened, Michelle called and we went back the following day. She was a miracle worker, moving the furniture around, showing us a new way we could line up the tables, put our chuppah and a special spot for the ketubah. The food was moved to the small lower deck which was perfect and we had part of the outside deck for sunset photos. Michelle ordered special tablecloths to match our color and lighting that was beautiful. The night was magical, music and deco was more than we could of asked for. All of the ladies and gentleman that worked our wedding were not only professional but so sweet and accommodating to everyone. To the cooks - the food was amazing coconut shrimp, lobster, and our private chef who cut the beef was so good. Everything was absolutely stunning and it wouldn’t have all worked as well as it did if it wasn’t for you, Michelle thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We came in for dinner reservation at 7.. there was an issue for reservation's it did show online it was for that day..( this was done that morning before dinner that evening) but oddly by that evening when we arrived and I gave my name they claimed they had no reservation for us..I go online and there's my reservation but not for that day but for 2 days later on a Monday??? I know I made it for Saturday..so I'd never trust the app they have " open table" to book dining anywhere again.. there was 2 front hostess a young man & a young lady..they were not very friendly or understanding but then another gentleman came over and I explained the situation and he was so helpful and I appreciated his kindness.. thank you..he sat us at a awesome table in the corner by Windows looking over the water... The waitress after 15mins finally came to the table, she was nice but definitely distracted.. we had appetizers which were the best part of the meal.. the bread tasted hot and delicious, my Captain's chowder was awesome.. the green fried tomatoes were different than what I expected but good ..after the longest wait I've ever experienced out dining the main course arrived.. what a disappointment.. the mash potatoes were cold but good.. broccolini tasted like frozen from the bag but was ok.. but the stars of each plate were definitely losers..the seafood trio a overpriced trio of the smallest most tasteless shrimp I've ever eat..no joke it looked as pathetic as it tasted.. I swear they had to be frozen and if not what an insult to FL shrimp.. the seafood platter was even worse.. the grouper was tasteless, the grilled shrimp tasted more like shriveled propane ,the scallops were small lit pieces with no flavor whatsoever....the crabmeat yuck!! tasted like canned cheap crabmeat..or substitute crab"". and ( btw I'm from a island that serves up delicious seafood so I know the difference)... it was an expensive experience with a spectacular view.. and your paying for the view for sure cause it's not the food..after 2 hour and 30min we finally got out... I wouldn't recommend going here if you like delicious food "" if your looking for a pretty view you can get that anywhere on the waterfront so save your money..I had better from fastfood McDonald's than from here..

We have been here before, we have a severe garlic allergy and the chef was wonderful at cooking everything from scratch. So we decided to comeback to this wonderful place to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Unfortunately we made reservations for Feb 17th at 7 pm. We ordered or food. And it came to us cover in garlic 3 times in a row. Our waiter seem to be very busy cause we have to keep asking the bus girl to help us with our food. We had to ask for utensils several times, and we ended up having dinner 2 hours after, and just eating whatever did not have garlic in our plate since we were starving and tired of the mistakes in the kitchen. Once the waiters were cleaning around us and the restaurant was empty they sent us a complementary dessert…we were very disappointed at the time. We have a spoon of the vanilla ice cream paid the bill and left with a very bitter taste. Don’t think we’ll be back.

Going to miss this place!!! I can't believe we will not be able to go enjoy the great food, amazing service and fantastic music after May 26th! What a terrible decision the new owners have made. Go and enjoy this great restaurant (and/or The Captains Table) before they are gone forever 😢 Thank you for all the memories!!!!

(August 2024) Great place to grab some food. It’s not outstanding but definitely worth the visit. The portions are pretty decent! Notice there are not that many vegetarian options but the salad was absolutely delicious! The view is great and our server was kind and did a good job. Only the no-see-ums were horrible on that day. But that’s the price you pay for a great view in August I guess 😆

I had lunch with friends at Harpoon Harry's on a Sunday. There was live music and the waitress was very attentive. We set on the back covered patio. I had the blackened salmon BLT sandwich and I highly recommend it! Next time I'll get the key lime pie too, it looked really good. Will definitely be back.

Harpoon Harry’s 11-29-24 We were at Fisherman’s Village on Friday about 6pm and had to visit this place for some fun and food. They were full as it was Black Friday and things were popping at this place. The entrance way has some seats and games to keep you busy if you must wait for a table. (Note: They will charge you a couple extra dollars if you use credit card.) The music guys were just starting up to add to the fun. We had about a 15-minute wait which I thought was fine. They gave us a table right along the water and that’s exactly want we wanted. Our waiter came over fast and took our drink order. He returned quickly with our drinks and took our food order. I ordered the Blacken Haddock Sandwich, Fries, and an order of Appetizer Onion Rings. The wife ordered Clams, Salad, and a side order of Bread. We loved the atmosphere of the water and live music, it was just a great vibe. Our Onion Rings and Salad came out first. My Onion Rings were very good, and the Salad looked amazing. It was huge and everything looked fresh, tasted fresh and the bacon bits took it to another level. This Salad was so large we ended up splitting it. Our main order came out about the time we were done with the Salad and Onion Rings nice timing. My Haddock Sandwich was large very good, it was done perfect with the Blackening Seasoning. The Fries were so good, the best I had in this area. My wife’s clams were good, and all our food was hot. We were so glad we stopped here for a late diner. Our waited stopped by a couple times to check on us and refill our drinks. I must give this place a 5 out of 5 stars for the great food, excellent service, beautiful view, live music and just a perfect night for us. Make sure you stop by you will not be sorry. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Follow Me On FB For More Reviews Gulf Coast Terry

Didn’t receive a lot of food for the price of each lunch basket. The sodas/drinks were all watered down by the time our food came. The waitress was very friendly & pleasant. I visit my dad quite often in Cape Coral and he loves coming here for lunch and gets the grouper. This place reminds me of The Lobster House that we have in Cape May NJ. The live music was cool & kid & pet friendly.

I visited this place for the first time, the food was ok but greased, the bread look old. The server never smile, look stressed. One of the member of the party order something but immediately changed mind, she asked to change but the server said “you already make your order”. I really expected better service. The coconut shrimps and the chocolate cake, very good.

The staff was very helpful and attentive the food was not the greatest and I had a platter for the variety so I can try a few things at once . The scallops tasted like they cooked them with other foods and they were a bit oily for my taste I liked the drinks and especially the harpoon vice . Small selection of beer on tap and mostly ipa but the scenery was amazing and calm over all enjoyable .

The Best Whole Belly Fried Claims on West Coast of Florida! I’ve frequented this establishment and both the food & service is always top notch! Great drink menu and seafood choices, you must go at sunset to enjoy the spectacular Floridian Sunsets - it’s like dining aboard a ship as the entire wall is situated on the bay and sitting outside along the ocean is a special treat! The prices are fair, around $100 for 3 beautiful meals and a cocktail each. - Enjoy! - Jo

This is 1 of my go to places... first the place is always busy and being in just a few weeks after the hurricane IAN was no different. The food was great and so was service although there could have been more staff they did a great job ... the scenario is always awesome as you can watch the sun set while having an adult beverage and having dinner... I would recommend getting there early and walking all the shops of the locals , then have dinner on the waterside patio..

Omg! The stuff we accumulate and think why, how? Well I took a “me day”after going through some things for a couple of days in my little apartment, I packed up my cargo area of my car. 3 medium boxes , 2 large and a bag of clothes and linens. So I went got my hair done and then off to Goodwill to Donate. Of course, I just had to go in and browse Goodwill to see what treasure I may find even though I know I should not , I just had to have that cute orchid picture, in case my real one dies lol , a lovely summer dress, a shirt, an outdoor rug for my patio after management paints the building. Oh yeah a Green flowered shirt for St Paddy’s lol ok that’s it , I put on the brakes. I still have to go through boxes and scared to look in my closet!!! I am proud I am moving at a steady pace and gonna get rid of more to make up for what I bought! Giggle, snort. My heart is happy that some one will love the treasures I leave and those in need. I then treated myself to a seafood dinner at the old Peace River Botonical restaurant . The ladies there were happy to see me and I them, as its been a while since I was there. Blue crabs are in , but i felt like trying their stoneccrab and shrimp special. I was not disappointed. I enjoyed the fact that being alone , I shared a table with two couples . Who welcomed my crashing their table and we ended up having quite a few laughs! This place reminds me of old Florida and the little hole-in-the-walls with great chances to meet people, good food and a relaxed atmosphere. Looking at the old large tree and the cool breeze running through it, it reminded me of what is important , living life and loving these memories of my many, many years in Florida and why I love it. Peace River you made my day and thanks for the reminder. Well off the browse my treasures. Love you all!

This feels authentic. We got the steamed seafood platter, just show them this picture, incredible. I love the seasoning on the shrimp and the clams and oysters tasted so fresh. None of that awful ‘Did I just eat vibrio vulnificus’ flavor we all fear.

This place was good for what it’s supposed to be, strictly a seafood boil place. Very straight forward and to the point, the seafood tasted fresh, and the server was nice. It’s a tiny tiny place, about 5 tables outside and 5 inside.

We have been here a few times. This last time we went in August of 2025, after seeing such large crabs, we were disappointed to find the crab plate pictured must have been held close to the camera. They were not at all this big when we dined there. There was so little meat and a LOT of work. The butter is not real butter, even though I was told "it is!" It was an oil based I don't know what, but was absolutely was not butter and it ruined the taste of what little crab we had. The establishment very mom and pop and we LOVED that! The servers were nice but forgot things, we waited for drinks while they chatted with other patrons, we had to ask several times when she walked by. Unfortunately, we won't be back.

This is a cute spot with excellent service — 5/5 stars for that alone. The price is fair, and I’d call it a good value to try out. If you like blue crab, you’ll probably love this place. Turns out I really don't like it, which was kind of humorous. The waitress even gave us a kind tableside lesson on how to eat them, but it just wasn’t for me. I don’t recommend sharing the 12-large-crab platter — I left hungry. The corn was plentiful but bland, and I can’t speak to the small potatoes since my friend ate both. Overall: not my style of seafood (I’m more of a snow crab and fresh fish fan), but it’s clearly a local favorite and worth a try, especially if blue crab is your thing. The menu has many more items from which to choose; perhaps I'll return some day to try those, too!

This place is always on our list of places to go when we are in Cape Coral. We love the menu and service is great! Hidden tip: I'm not a cauliflower buffalo sauce or not, nor bleu cheese fan AT ALL but somehow they make it taste good! All of their main dishes, Gumbo, jambalaya, crayfish mac n cheese, shrimp n grits, etc find themselves in my leftover dishes for an extra meal or two. The BEST of all is BANANA PUDDING for dessert. You gotta try it !

Food and drinks were good, the service was outstanding. The pork belly buns, collard greens, garlic mashed with gravy, and the blackened salmon, were all very good. The fried green tomatos were cut in thick wedges. Tgey didnt seem to be cooked well and were just too large. If you haven't been, you need to give them a try. Ill be back, but not for the green tomato or on a Sunday during football season. A bit loud 😆

First impression: no one was eating when we walked in. I should have known from there but I wanted to give them a try. I had the pork chop platter. The pork chop had no flavor and the collard greens were overly salted. My guest had the catfish platter. No flavor and the breading slipped right off. The staff weren’t friendly at all. My guest and I were disappointed and will not return.

The food and drinks are always epic. While it can be crowded at times, we have always had excellent service and a great time. The bands that frequently play have thus far been great and quite fun. It’s definitely worth stopping by for at least a beverage, an appetizer, maybe some of the food (*psst - not on the menu but definitely worth getting is the banana pudding). My lovely wife also truly enjoys being able to enjoy a Smoky Old Fashioned… well worth the smoke and tastes amazing!

I don’t know where to begin here. The oxtail was amazing! The meatloaf at lunch with Collard greens and mashed potatoes and the corn bread was delicious. The ice tea even though I asked for 50/50 was SWEEEEEET! Next time I’ll do a 75/25 mixture. If you need energy shot, drink the sweet Tea! This will give you more wings than Red Bull…🤣. The hard boiled eggs an bone marrow extremely tasty. ok I left the best for last. The Banana pudding is the best I’ve ever tried.

Stopped in on holloween most of dinning room was empty by this time. Hostess gave us a tablet to use for menu.... but it died. Sat for over 10 mins before we were acknowledged.. tables around us sit dirty still. Band could be good on nights like this but way to loud for space.. plus they at this point they are screaming... more like high paid karaoke 🎤 😜... food has always been good but a little pricey.. but its whatever.. the cider beer is awesome by the way.. but I would love it more on draft.... and offer regular menus too as an option. I love the use of technology but it takes away from the dinning experience.. especially someone such as a southern kitchen such as leroys... keep up putting lut good food leroys just dont forget the basics....

This place spectacular! Food was AMAZING! PRICES WERE GREAT, THE SEVERICE WAS OUTSTANDING ! They have a nice little outside seating area. Have been here a few times, but wow! They have stepped up their game! Even serving on real plates now. Once we were able to get service (which is why the 4 stars, the person we told we were sitting outside failed to tell others) but the others made up for it! Very friendly! Eggs Benedict (sorry for messy pic, I dug in first, but shows perfect poached egg😊), hubby ordered the Cuban omelet special and it was well loaded, all served hot. Delicious and well priced for the area. We’ll be back Burg’r Bar!!

Burg’r Bar in Punta Gorda is honestly just okay. The food was fine but way overpriced for what you get. Service was really slow — the waitresses seemed more interested in standing around chatting than checking on tables. For the cost, I expected a lot better overall experience.

In the past I have loved this place. Tried going yesterday morning for breakfast. Walked in and saw tables were full though there was a table outside and room at the counter. Asked if we could sit at the counter and we were told no, it was a 20 minute wait and the kitchen was behind. We decided to wait. Another couple came in, asked about sitting at counter and we're told the same thing. Third couple comes in, goes right to the counter (host sees this and says nothing) and sits down. We left as they were being served drinks. Not sure I'll be back.

Bob S — Google review
Feels Like An English Pub and Great Food Worthy of 5 stars, but with no low tables inside, I deduct 1 star. This place was an old ice house many years ago and has been transformed into a fun authentic English style pub. We found plenty of free parking in the area close to the pub. We entered a covered patio area with many low chairs and tables, several TV’s and a bar. You pass through a sliding door into the main dining room and game area with more TV’s. No shortage of sports video here. All of the inside seating is hi-top tables and chairs. If you’re short and struggle to get into a hi-top, or dislike having your legs dangle, like my wife, you have to sit out on the patio. There are plenty of fans to move the air and on the evening we dined it was hot – 98 degrees, but the fans kept it bearable. This place is for beer lovers with 34 beers on tap, 150 more from 15+ countries in cans and bottles. I really enjoyed my Irish favorites: Guinness, Smithwick's and Harp on tap. Chelsea was our server and though she has tables inside and out, she never let us sit with empty glasses. She did a great job of explaining favorites and how to get the current beer list on my phone with the QR code scan. The menu had many things that we wanted to try, but we narrowed it down to two. My wife had the Cottage Pie ($14.99). Plenty of seasoned Angus beef, onions, carrots and peas simmered in a flavorful, hearty Guinness gravy, topped with mashed potatoes and cheese and baked to a golden brown. You can substitute chicken in Belgian gravy. My wife shared one forkful with me and it was excellent. I chose the Fish Sandwich with an 8 ounce portion of blackened redfish. It normally comes with a Belgian ale battered fried cod. You can also substitute in grilled redfish. I was pleasantly surprised when they delivered my sandwich. There was a very nice size seasoned fish filet sitting on a toasted roll with lettuce, onion, tomato and dill pickles. The aroma from the fish seasoning was outstanding. The sandwich comes with chips (like steak fries), coleslaw and a homemade tarter sauce. The coleslaw was just OK, nothing memorable. The chips were good when hot, not so good when they cooled off. I did like just a little of the tarter sauce with the fish. I really enjoyed this fish sandwich. After dining, there are free darts and pool tables inside. Darts and cue sticks are available to use at no cost. There is an entire wall of dart boards with chalk scoreboards next to them. What a fun place. So hey Ice House Pub, put some low tables inside so the short people can get into the AC when it’s hot outside. Thank you in advance.

I ordered the New England clam chowder and the blackened redfish sandwich. The chowder was decent, but the sandwich was underwhelming — the fish portion was small, and the bread was a bit tough. The fries tasted like they’d been sitting out for a while, not very fresh.

This is my favorite place to stop for a rest and have a drink or food or both. I like the soups best. So I’ve been thinking about this for a while wanted to make sure that I met everyone that worked there . Best manager, Calvin & Todd . Best employees, Brie and Talon. If you haven’t been to the Ice House stop in. Anything on the menu is good. Their soups are like stews. Lots of good stuff in them and all tasty. Talon, does the best pour. . Go see this cohesive, make it make TEAM. Sure would be nice if Bree, got more hours of hours. She’s a very hard worker and deserves it. Did you know, Guinness has an exact method, to pour. Ask, Todd. How does, working both positions, as bartender and kitchen master work Ask, Brie . Want to know all about BMWs? Just ask Talon. Want to know the latest gossip and rumors? See Shannon, she definitely owns this space. There is another manager, excuse me I don’t remember his name. He’s always hitting the tap or tasting a bottle and then going to his office. I never saw him Clara table or assist. Perhaps that’s not his job, like the other managers.. The owners must have unlimited income and at a distance. This facility could be managed by two, Calvin and Todd. My brother owned four restaurants/bars, much bigger and had two managers, but they paid close attention to their employees.. Make it a fun, great experience, possibly learn something like I have.

We stopped in after a waitress offered us a tour of the beautiful historic building turned into a beautiful pub style restaurant bar. Dogs are welcome in the outside area. Can't wait to ride my motorcycle there .

Perch 360 Rooftop Restaurant & Bar, located atop The Wyvern Hotel, offers stunning views of downtown Punta Gorda and Charlotte Harbor. Guests can savor seasonal tapas plates alongside cocktails, beer, and wine while enjoying the picturesque water vistas. The farm-to-table menu features high-quality ingredients sourced from local vendors or the hotel's rooftop herb garden.
This a nice roof top bar. 360 as advertised! We were there on 1/18/25 around 4:30. The bartender was very nice and informative for drinks and other info. We didn’t have any food, so no comment on that. The drink prices were lower than I thought they would be.

We went there with a group for Cinco de Mayo. They were understaffed, did not have any Cuervo Gold and had premixed margaritas that we fizzy. You would think that a wonderful venue like that with 360 degree views of the area would have been better prepared. It took our group over an hour to get their food. Most of it was good but not hot as it should have been. Parking was free to the side of the building. Most of our checks had to be redone because of mixup. They could be a premier spot with just a little more training.

I actually heard about this place reading the in flight magazine on an Allegiant flight. Sounded cool so I thought I would give it a try. We were immediately greeted with a smile and told to pick any table we would like. From there the service was very attentive and charming. We ordered drinks which were delivered immediately. The entire time we were there our server continuously checked on us to make sure we didn’t need/want anything. We ordered food and it was outstanding! It came out quickly and tasted great! We ordered three items and it was under $25! Are you kidding me! The food presentation is equal to something you see at a high end, very expensive restaurant. Great food, great service, great prices, great vibes! We will be back!

Love this place and can’t wait to return for breakfast to see the sunrise or dinner to see the sunset. The view is fantastic! Servers are friendly. Drinks and food are well priced for a hotel and are tasty as well.

This is one of the most beautiful hotels I've stayed at in Florida.. there is a restaurant downstairs which I didn't have enough days to check out..but I did get a burger at the rooftop bar"' it had a great flavor but I had ordered it cooked medium and it was bloody and still mooing.. thankfully I was able to salvage it by nuking it in the microwave in my room..the steak sandwich again had flavor but was really to tough to eat..both sandwiches were disappointing at $18 plus tax apiece so 2 sandwichs for $36 bucks and they charged $8 and $6.00 additional dollars for the bad hard cold fries (thankfully the tater tots I had were delicious..) so for 2 sandwiches and a small side of french fries and tater tots we paid a total 49 plus tax and we did tip 22% ...the drinks we had earlier at the bar were good.. but took a bit to initially get "the young man who assisted me finally ( I wish I could remember his name) was friendly and helpful but his co-workers 2 young ladies pretty much ignored us and were to busy gossiping to each other to even greet us.. if not for the young man who we motioned over to request" if he could wait on us "thankfully he said yes for the views up there are awesome and it really is a great space to chill at..if not for him we would had left... The rooftop is definitely a great place to hang if you have the right servers/ bartender but it seemed most of them upstairs need major training.

Had dinner and drinks this evening, 5/3/25. Food was wonderful, I had Waygu beef sliders, excellent. My cousin had chicken quesadilla, also excellent. Drinks were also excellent, Breezy Bahama Mamma and Sunset Mojito. Amanda was an excellent server and made wonderful food and drink recommendations! A must do when in Punta Gorda!

Visiting family here. They were excited to bring us to this rooftop bar. The place had about a half dozen tables occupied. We could not get waited on so we went to the bar to purchase drinks. The bartender was miserable. She didn't ask if we would like something. She just looked at us. No one ever came to our table to ask us if we would like something to eat. We had the one drink we purchased at the bar and left. The drinks were just okay. We will not be returning.I will not recommend this place to anyone.

We sat at the bar for 10+ minutes and totally ignored. We are not picky and not one to complain but……. It was awful. The people next to us offered their menus before anyone else, WHATS WITH THAT. Great drink and lunch but definitely will not go back AWFUL AWFUL SERVICE. Rachel is the so called manager what a joke she’s the worst bartender ever!!! 👎🏻👎🏻

Smoke House Restaurant is a long-standing, laid-back spot that offers classic Southern dishes like BBQ sandwiches for breakfast and lunch. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the service is excellent. Customers have raved about the delicious sausage and cheese omelet, unique sausage patty, and flavorful sausage gravy with biscuits. Although the coffee has been described as a bit watery, the overall dining experience has received high praise.
We tried Smoke House as a last minute decision to have breakfast at a place we’ve been meaning to visit. The parking was limited, but after a minute we found a spot off to the side of the lot. Upon entering we learned that this restaurant was more like a dining hall. It’s a room filled with picnic styled benches, as apposed to restaurant styled tables and booths. A more cabin-in-the-woods feel. The food was excellent! Simple. Tasty. And the price was even better!! This little hole-in-the-woods restaurant is certainly worth trying. There’s a simple menu and they’re not open all day. They serve breakfast, and early lunch items. It’s not an all day restaurant, so get there early!! The price is very good… we had two complete breakfast meals there, and we had a third meal to go. It was very affordable at $40. We will definitely return to Smoke House Restaurant!!!

Amazing place! It's kind of a hole in the wall so you may have to seek it out, but it's well worth the effort! We found a table quickly, but there was a line by the time we left, even after asking 2 friends who showed up after us to sit. Food was very reasonably priced. We ordered from a very attentive server and we were thrilled by how quickly the food came out. Everything tasted great and we had leftovers. Well definitely be back!

This is a childhood favorite!! My grandfather took me here as a little girl and I’m now 34!! This is a small hometown family owned breakfast spot. It’s little but has big personality! You sit at picnic bench style tables which you might share with other guests. The food is always excellent and worth the wait! We went at 11:30 on Sunday and it was fully packed. They close at 12 but we were still able to get in. My all time favorite is the #13!! 2 eggs over medium cottage fries country fried steak and a biscuit and add a side of the sausage gravy!! Everything here is excellent! This is a local favorite for the whole family! Remember to bring your CASH as it is a cash only business!
Bubbaliciousb — Google review
The restaurant was crowded on the Saturday we went. We waited probably 20 minutes between sit down and receiving our meals. The biscuits and gravy are the best i have ever eaten. The eggs are pretty good too. Staff was busy as heck, but still nice enough to get anything you requested right away. I have been here a couple of times since my original post and the food and service is still very good.

If you’re looking for local there’s nothing more local in Punta Gorda than the Smoke House Restaurant!! They’ve got the best home style breakfast you’ll find in SWFL. All the basics just like grandma plus really good sausage gravy. Service is friendly small time charm like you would expect. Family style seating has you making new friends by the time you finish eating. Give them a try as you won’t regret it. Cash only 👍

Been in Punta Gorda for 5 years now as a snow bird. How the heck did no one tell us about this hidden gem! My wife and I were on the prowl for something different around lunch time and stopped in. Can’t wait to go back 40 more times! Food was amazing and ample! Service was great! The server stopped by a number of times. Sometimes just to tell us that she would be right back. Restaurant
Sandra's Restaurant is a cozy eatery owned and operated by Germans, offering a variety of authentic German and European dishes prepared using traditional family recipes. The menu includes classics like schnitzel, goulash, bratwurst, and Bavarian beers. On Wednesdays, they have Schnitzel night and live music on weekends. In addition to their food offerings, they also provide partially-baked Authentic German Breads made with fresh ingredients and no artificial additives.
Truly felt authentic, their sauerkraut balls are sauerkraut with some sort of meat, out of this world. The schnitzel is so so tasty can’t stop thinking about it, I got the European sampler platter.
Patrick Q — Google review
We hadn't eaten German food in many years, so this was fun. Good food, generous portions, served quickly, and friendly workers. I started with the Sauerkraut balls, then I had the Bavarian platter and my wife split the Snitzel with her sister. Then we all split the Apple strudel. The crowning touch was live music by an accordion player, dressed in German clothing. He was very good, playing both German and American pop music. We'll be back to try other options!
Brad W — Google review
This place is fantastic! We’ve been coming here for years and it’s always been great food, great service and a great atmosphere! This place serves very authentic German foods. It has a very European feel to it. I use to frequent a Bavarian restaurant that was very similar. You don’t feel rushed while you eat, the owner walks around and visits tables and it almost gives you the comfort feeling as if you’re eating at home. There is live entertainment on the weekends, where a gentleman or sometimes a lady plays the accordion which adds to the atmosphere. The German beer is always great, the fresh bread is delightful, and again, the meals I’ve eaten there have been on point. I will point out that there usually isn’t a chicken entree or much seafood, but the salmon is great, but about the only fish dish you’ll have the option of getting. We’ve eaten just about all the desserts they offer and they have been wonderful as well. It’s definitely a treat eating here as it takes you somewhere overseas for just a little while. I would like to also point out that our service has always been great. This time we had a hard working young lady named Cassidy. She was very busy but took time to keep us full and happy while offering a little chitter chatter, which we enjoy. Upon leaving, she gave me 3 pieces of candy for my 3 (5) year old boys. And wished them a Happy Easter. Was a fine ending to a great experience and meal. Thank you very much to Cassidy, Sandra and the crew!! I highly suggest this place as a unique dining experience and to folks who love German cuisine and beer. I think you will be happy! Happy eats!

The best food in Punta Gorda and Port Charlotte. I have been to Berlin and the food was not as good as Sandra’s. You can tell it was prepared with quality ingredients and love. The menus had all the classic German fare and some with an American twist. There are a few days with buffets that look like a great deal. I have been in the area for 10 months and have not picked a restaurant worth coming back for till I had Sandra’s today. This is a must do if you are in the area

We will be back- thank you for a great evening!

Had the brie appetizer and the red cabbage balls. Both were excellent. Enjoyed a Kronenbourg beer w it. Nice. Wife had the Spatzle and it was delicious. I had the Bavarian platter. It was very good but I wish I had gone w the Scnitzel. Took the Chocolate Mouse and the Apfelstrudel to go... Overall a great experience.

Amazing food, drinks, and staff. Every positive review about this place is true. We tried the fried Brie with fresh strawberries and cream and it was delicious. The margarita had fresh strawberries and blueberries and was extremely refreshing. The beef tips were tender and we got to listen to live music while eating. The plum dessert was light and hit the spot. They offer a buffet and we will try that the next time we are in. It’s a wonderful local place to stop in and eat at where the staff will treat you very well.

Salsa and service were good. Isabela lunch burrito $17 overpriced for just minimal quality. Burrito had sparse pellets of overcooked salty “steak”nothing else inside. Pico was fresh but also extremely salty. Overall the good service didn’t out weigh mediocre food .

Ok atmosphere, good service but the food was pricey and sadly not that good. I went for the relleno bc I saw they served theirs with red sauce but when it came out the pepper wasnt the deep green it should of been and my taste buds didn't like it at all. The cheese dip is very spicy and just ok. If you have your kids with you check the menu prior, most mexican places we visit have a hamburger or chicken not here. We Ordered 2 adult meals and side of fries with 3 drinks and spent over $60. See photos for pepper picture.

We were traveling from Fort Myers to Tampa and for lunch we searched around us to have lunch. We came across Isabel & Annabel's Mexican Restaurant. It is a Mexican restaurant in Punta Gorda and has a roadside parking in front of them. When we entered the restaurant it was around 3:00pm so it was pretty much empty. We got seated on our table and greeted by our server Marvin with the menus and since it was around 3:00pm the lunch menu was going to be closed at 3:00pm. So by checking out the menu we quickly decided to order Isabella Quesadilla Lunch & Chicken Fajita Lunch plate. Soon our server got water and along with water he also got us Chips and Salsa. The chips and salsa were good and was perfect for food before lunch. The service was good and soon we got our lunch too. Isabella Quesadilla Lunch was good and delicious. Amazing lunch plate. Chicken Fajitas was also delicious and chicken was cooked perfectly and had an amazing taste. Amazing and delicious food with good price too.

Pho restaurant
Pho Saigon Punta Gorda is a charming, family-owned Vietnamese restaurant nestled in the heart of downtown Punta Gorda, Florida. Renowned for serving some of the finest pho in the region, this eatery offers a unique and authentic menu that stands out from typical Asian restaurants. Diners rave about the flavorful pho and perfectly crafted vermicelli dishes that transport them back to cherished memories of home-cooked meals.
Honestly the sweetest and nicest family ever. Ive been there 2 times now and the food brings back memories of my family growing up...Viet food was a big part of growing up. I had their Banh Mi Sandwhich 2 times now and it has been consistently good. Crispy and soft french roll with fresh herbs, vegetable and tender beef. The vietnamese iced coffee is the best I have ever tasted and goes perfect with the crushed ice they use there. The pho is amazing...the most aromatic, light and clear broth is the perfect balance with thin rice noodles cooked to perfection. Today I had their Vermicilli Noodle Salad with Pork and Fried Spring Roll and it tasted like how my mom makes it. When it came out the portion was huge! This family does not cut corners when it comes to their menu and you can tell they love serving great food to the community. I ride my motorcycle all the way from Englewood to Punta Gorda just to get a taste of home and i cant wait to visit them again.

This restaurant is smack in the middle of Punta Gorda’s dining district and is a hole in the wall with authentic Vietnamese food. My intent was to have Pho, which I had, but their appetizers are a cut above the rest and very very inexpensive. I had their crispy shrimp and pork wontons with sweet chilli sauce. The drive over the bridge to get to this restaurant is so beautiful. They staff is very kind and they have a huge following of locals. The place is impeccably clean and service is quick, even though everything is made to order.

The best pho around! Broth is so flavorful on it's own, I barely add condiments like hoisen or soy sauce. Very well priced compared to other local pho places too!

Seriously the best, one of our favorite spots! My young kids enjoy the children’s portion noodle soup bowls which come at a super reasonable price. Service is always fast and friendly here which keeps us stopping in often for an easy lunch or dinner. My favorite besides the Pho options are the shrimp spring rolls and crispy bahn mi sandwich.
Vivienne D — Google review
First time checking this spot out, and nothing really grabbed my attention while looking at the menu. I've had Vietnamese fare before, so I know what I'm looking for. The taste was bland. The shrimp was crunchy. The steamed dumplings were great minus the lacking of flavor. It was not busy at all, and many empty seats. Considering where they are located, it's relative as the restaurant is located in the corner of the plaza and access to it is not very convenient due to the traffic flow. I'm sure this place has a following, and I'm not knocking it, just not for me.
Shorty S — Google review
I can't eat at the Belgian Monk every time I'm in Punta Gorda. So I decided to go next door, to Pho Saigon. A big menu with appetizers, pho, vermicelli & rice dishes grouped separately. I like that. And a first for me: different sizes. I ordered the Pho Hai San, small, because I really wanted seafood. It come with shrimp (2), fish balls (not what your thinking), octopus, squid & supposedly scallops of which I didn't see any. I do wish the tails were removed from the shrimp so I dont have to dig around in my hot soup with bare fingers. A side plate had bean sprouts and a huge slice of jalapeño. Everybody in the pool! The broth was a bit blah but with Sriracha, fish sauce, soy sauce and hoisin on the table, doctoring it to taste is easy-peasy. The staff was friendly at noon on a Wednesday in season and speedy. I was eating 5 minutes after I sat down. The restaurant is very roomy with tons of space to navigate a wheelchair. One wall has booths, the rest of the seating is tables and chairs plus there is room at the bar for 5-6. A side note: the chopsticks are not the disposable kind (usually bamboo), they are reusable, washable plastic. A bit harder for me to grab with but not thrown out after the meal. I'll gladly come back.

We came to town looking for some Vietnamese/asian food and found this place close by. I didn’t expect the food to meet my expectations since it’s no where in an Asian community but to my surprise the food was delicious and authentic Vietnamese food. The pho is flavorful and the vermicelli dishes were on point!! We’ve also ordered some on doordash from here and it’s was the same delicious as always. I recommend this place if you’re ever in the area or even if you have craving and is far away but see it in doordash. The service was also exceptional. Come give it a try!! I’ll definitely be back.

Breakfast restaurant
John Ski's House of Breakfast & Lunch is a cozy, no-frills diner that serves up generous portions of classic American comfort food all day long. The menu features hearty breakfast dishes like the Big Tim Ski, a massive half-pound burger on thick Texas toast with bacon, kielbasa sausage, egg, and cheese. In addition to omelets and house-made biscuits and gravy, they also offer satisfying lunch options.
While exploring Punta Gorda, we started looking for a place to grab a quick bite to eat when we came across this little establishment. First, we met our waitress Tara, aka Cinnamon, based on her fondness of cinnamon rolls, we were told. Tara gave us the lowdown on the menu items - which made choosing our meals very difficult. We went with the corned beef reuben (Oh my goodness - TO DIE FOR!!) and the Kitchen Sink Omelet (also out of this world!). The staff is great, the food is excellent and the location is easily accessible! Would highly recommend and we will definitely be back!!

I can't believe we missed this staple in our own backyard. Our friends shared this placed because of John Ski's Fat Boy Breakfast Challenge. Although I didn't attempt the challenge but did try the Fat Boy dish. The dish was heaping tall of breakfast goodness. During our visit we also ordered a Mama Ski's with a chocolate chip pancake. I highly recommend the sausage patty as it was delicious and not the ordinary you'd get at a chain. Next, the fried potatoes at the bottom of the fat boy dish was a change instead of biscuits with gravy. The bacon was cooked perfectly nice and crunchy. The portions for dishes are huge and shareable unless you get a to-go box. Next, I'm glad we got to try this great breakfast and lunch dive. The service was down to earth and our waitress was friendly giving us plenty of time. Parking is limited so go early to het a good spot. The menu has a large variety of choices for all moods. Lastly, my only regret is we didn't order a lunch item but we'll definitely be back.

One of our favorite breakfast spots. The iced mocha and country biscuits and gravy are to die for! They’ve got good omelets, eggs Benedict & biscuits. Everyone is friendly and it’s a quiet spot. Today we had Angie as our server. She was great! My husband ordered the Denver omelet & loved it! It’s packed on Saturday mornings but they’re still quick to get you seated.

Absolutely the most fun I've had choosing breakfast in a long time!! The service and attention from the management and staff is phenomenal ... our food was delicious (despite the fact we didn't prefer the favor and texture of the pot roast in our omelet)... essentially, if they have the ingredients, they will make it for you!!! This is on top of the extensive menu!!! You can ask for samples of soup or sauces, and I was lucky enough to try the She-Crab soup and the -limited time only- chipotle chorizo gravy... holy moly- fantastic... it was worth the 30 minute drive for us to enjoy John Ski's House of Breakfast and Lunch... the entire menu is always available!!

On vacation from Ohio and staying with friends who brought us to John Skis for breakfast. They raved about the food and they weren't wrong service was great and food was outstanding. Would definitely go back again.

Stumbled upon this gem while leaving the local airport. This team hustles. Owner is visible and very hands on. Varied menu. Great selection. We kept it simple. Tasty & reasonable. Enjoyed our visit.

Please don’t let the cat out of the proverbial bag. Mr. Skii is selling his delicious fare at pre pandemic prices! The big skii burger has 2 or maybe 3 burgers worth of meat. (Great value) Off the charts friendly.

If you're in Punta Gorda and craving something sweet, look no further than Working Cow Ice Cream & Eatery. This charming ice cream shop is a delightful stop for anyone with a sweet tooth, offering an impressive selection of homemade flavors, including options for those who are lactose intolerant. The outdoor seating creates a perfect atmosphere to enjoy your treat on warm Florida days.
This one of our favorite spots to enjoy delicious homemade ice cream. They have a large variety of flavors as well as nondairy ice cream for us that are lactose intolerant. We brought our dog with us, and to our surprise, they offered her a free “doggy dish” for her to enjoy! Needless to say she lapped it up. We were quite thankful! You guys are the best!
Michael K — Google review
Great place to get ice cream with the family. They have about 5 or 6 picnic tables with an umbrella to sit and enjoy!
Brittany Y — Google review
Such a fun ice cream spot! They are incredibly customer friendly allowing us to sample as many different ice creams as we wanted! They are very local and you can feel the southern hospitality ordering your dessert! The boys and girls of Working Cow are doing something special

We found this awesome ice cream shop last week & loved their ice cream! Prices were also much better than in Bonita Springs, where we live. The customer service was very nice too.

Ice cream was delicious!! Had outdoor seating area and were dog friendly. They even give a little bowl of free ice cream for dogs. We really enjoyed it, would definitely return!
Michelle S — Google review
Cool place!! I like that it’s all outdoor. Supports eating ice cream on a hot Florida day. I like that they had a few vegan options. Got the chocolate peanut butter and the vegan mint chocolate both were great! The hurricanes are also cool and was pretty good! Good branding haha
S D — Google review
Very expensive but very good ice cream and a large selection of flavors and options. About twice the cost of Dairy Queen, but ice cream tastes home made and is delicious. Nice clean seating as well.
G M — Google review
Wonderful hidden gem and an amazing ice cream. Do not miss this place. Tons of flavors and unreal prices. At the time of this review, a medium (3 scoops) is $3.50, a pint is $5, and a quart is $8. This blow the premium grocery store name brands out of the water.

The Pier FV is a waterfront restaurant with excellent food and beautiful views of the water. The menu has a mix of starters, entrees, and sushi that all taste amazing. The service is great and the restaurant is usually quite windy, so it may be chilly inside.
Best sushi ever! We ordered four to share but could have ordered more. Before that, the appetizers - crab ragoon dip and tuna nachos were so good. Our server was excellent and the view of the water beautiful. We did sit inside because it was very windy and getting quite cool at sundown.
Route 4 — Google review
AWFUL food, very slow service. We went there tonight for dinner and were so disappointed. We had to constantly flag down the server to order food. Once we did order, it took almost an hour to receive our dishes. All that time waiting and what we got was literally worse than microwave frozen dinners. I ordered the fried grouper sandwich and you can tell it’s frozen fish - it was disgusting. The “house chips” it comes with are exactly the grocery store chips in a bag. My husband and the rest of the table ordered their island chicken dish that was rotisserie chicken slathered in what tasted like a bottle of teriyaki sauce off the grocery store shelf. Worst dining experience and food I’ve had in many years. Avoid!
Vanessa L — Google review
So so good!! The sushi is fresh and creative and DELICIOUS! We sat outside and caught the breeze off the water, which was perfect for enjoying wine as the sun was going down. It’s priced well for the quality of what you get. The service could be more prompt, but if you’re taking it easy and enjoying your surroundings, you don’t notice. Will definitely be coming back.
Jordan F — Google review
We have been here twice in one week for lunch and dinner. Both times they had to fix something with our food. The flavors are great and I recommend the green beans. (They are made with real butter) 🤯 The employees are great all the way around. We will be back.
Rolland P — Google review
Had lunner (lunch/dinner) at The Pier in Punta Gorda. We sat outside by the water because the weather was awesome today. Started with the pork won ton nachos and they were very tasty. Generous portions too. I had an Old Fashioned and my wife had a French Polynesian. Both were excellent. Next we had the grilled Mahi and braised short ribs. Again both were very good and tasty. The short ribs were tender and flavorful. Finally we had the Bananas Foster cheesecake and the Espresso Mousse pie. Both were excellent. Our waiter Connor was awesome and he carmelized the Bananas Foster cheesecake at our table. My wife and I had a wonderful lunner!
Original V — Google review
Our group of four visited The Pier for dinner on Friday night and had an amazing meal. Everyone was extremely happy with their choices. An order of spicy tuna maki and the Shaka roll (coconut shrimp!) started us off and set the tone for a great meal. We had the greens salad with salmon-super fresh veggies with a light coconut-cream style dressing with perfectly cooked salmon. Another opted for the Brussel sprout salad with chicken with again then freshest choices of veggies and lemon poppyseed dressing. The braised short rib looked amazing and was devoured within minutes as well as the grouper sandwich which our companions said are there go to meals every time they visit. The drinks came quickly (and often!!) and there were no complaints with the service. Top top it off we watched the sunset over our espresso martinis. Overall a great choice and on our list for our next visit! Highly recommend and would give six stars!

Fantastic dinner! We got the drink special of a smoked old fashioned flight. My husband had the ribeye and I got two sushi rolls, which were some of the yummiest I've ever gotten. One had coconut siracha and a sliver of kiwi and could have been dessert. Best place to get dinner in Fisherman's Village!

Amazingly delicious. Our server, Mark, did a good job especially considering they were short on serving staff. Be patient. A bit pricey but prices everywhere are up. Hawaii 5-O Roll was so delicious. Thai sauce Dusted Calamari was superb! It's the best I've had in this area. It will be a staple I order each time I'm there. Great outdoor seating along the harbor .

Been meaning to try this place out for awhile,as We love Thai food. Finally went this past week. Quaint little place. Authentic, freshly prepared great tasting dishes. I had the pad Thai with Chicken. The sauce was very flavorful. My wife had the Green Curry. It was excellent. We also tried the Pineapple fried rice. That was very good also. Owner was very friendly and attentive. Prices were very reasonable. Will be our new go to place for Thai food.

First I have to say neither my wife or I have ever been big on Thai food. The legendary heat of the food always scared us away. Our heat palate is just not strong. The whole combined family chose the restaurant and I'm so glad they did! The food was so great!!! The service was exceptional!!!! Especially for a large group of 11!! The food was amazing and we tried a lot. The crab rangoon was sooo delicious!! The shrimp eggrolls were tasty as were the pot stickers/gyoza. Everyone had something different and every dish was top notch! Level 1 heat for myself was perfectly balanced. Level 3 for my brother in law made him sweat, but very happy! Highly recommend! Thank you for changing my mind on thai cuisine! **NOT AI GENERATED**

Mint Thai Cuisine is such a treasure in our community. The food is always fresh, authentic, and full of flavor – you can tell it’s made with love. What really sets this restaurant apart is the owner. She is not only kind and caring, but she also goes above and beyond in everything she does. On top of providing amazing hospitality, she has partnered with our business, Hope Eternal Gardens, by donating veggies for our compost program. That generosity not only supports sustainability but also reflects the heart she puts into her work. We’re grateful for her collaboration and couldn’t recommend Mint Thai Cuisine more highly!

A Hidden Gem in Punta Gorda! Mint and her daughters cooked up a marvelous meal that would please anyone’s palate! Every dish was made to order and 100% gluten free, which was such a relief for me as someone with celiac disease. My husband and I enjoyed a true feast—six different dishes on a Friday evening, each one more delicious than the last. The flavors were authentic, fresh, and clearly prepared with love and care. This place is a must-visit if you’re in the area—especially if you have dietary restrictions. We’ll definitely be back!

If you're in the mood for hearty Greek fare, Toula's is a good choice. The restaurant is fast-paced and casual, and the food is always fresh and delicious. They offer plenty of healthy options, too, so everyone can find something they like. And don't forget the amazing fries - they're definitely one of the highlights of a visit to this restaurant!
Truly an excellent place to eat, a little piece of Greece in Punta Gorda, Florida. If you haven't been to TOULA'S, you don't know what you're missing. I recommend the bowl, it's the best. Besides, the service is personalized, directly with the owners. May the success continue.

I had the sampler at Toula’s Gyro Shop, and it was nothing short of phenomenal. Everything was authentic, fresh, and awesome flavor—you can truly taste the care that goes into each dish. The meat was perfectly seasoned, every bite was a reminder of why Greek cuisine is so beloved. What really stood out, in addition to the amazing food, was the excellent customer service. The gentleman who checked me in was polite, professional, and genuinely welcoming. He gave great recommendations, made sure I had everything I needed, and even checked in to see how I was enjoying the meal. That kind of attention to detail makes all the difference. I've traveled from New York to Florida, and this is hands-down some of the best Greek food I’ve ever had. Whether you're a long-time fan of Greek or just discovering it, Toula’s is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back!

The staff is super friendly and the food is delicious! This is my favorite place downtown for a quick breakfast or lunch. You can call ahead to order and they’ll have it ready by the time you walk over from the parking garage. Restaurant is always kept clean inside and outside. I recommend the French toast and the chicken pita melt but I’ve heard the kalamata salads are great too.

Slicing right in at 4.5⭐️ This somewhat hole in the wall is a great spot for Greek cravings. Glad to see there's a no-nonsense Greek spot in Punta Gorda. Their menu has great options and prices are very affordable and reasonable. If you're coming to be wowed by decor and fancy seating, go somewhere else. Ok, straight to the point... Gyro was great. Meat had great flavor and the salad was fresh. My small gripe is the Gyro should be either a tad bigger or have alittle more meat. Wife got the falafel platter which was pretty much an open face gyro but it also was flavorful and fresh. The baklava had great taste, just alittle on the too sweet side for my wife, so I finished it 😁. As a note, the Baklava is only made with walnuts (no pistachios) so if you're looking for that combination, you're not getting it here. I will say that the service was impeccable. The lady (whom had a heavy accent) was amazing; constantly checking up on us and was very nice. We are coming back as this place has great potential.

We visited Toula’s for the first time and will definitely be back. The food was delicious, quick, healthy ingredients and great portion size. Beyond their food, we were also really impressed with their kindness. . As people came in it was evident they frequent Toula’s and were genuinely care for. This shows the owners and staff are invested in their patrons which was another reason we loved Toula’s.

Nestled in the heart of downtown Punta Gorda, Pizza Gorda is a delightful pizzeria that captures the essence of local charm and culinary excellence. This family-owned establishment has transformed an old home into a cozy dining spot where guests can savor handcrafted pizzas made from fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The inviting atmosphere is perfect for enjoying mouth-watering appetizers and exploring an extensive selection of Italian wines.
Pizza Gorda serves up some of the best Neapolitan-style pizza you’ll find in Southwest Florida. Their 13-inch wood-fired pies are perfect for two to share… or just for yourself if you’re hungry. They’ve also got a great selection of Italian wines that pair really well with the food. If you’re going during peak hours, definitely make a reservation… this place gets busy. Bonus tip: don’t skip the Caesar salad. Seriously, it might be the best one you’ll ever have. If you’re after an authentic Italian pizza experience, Pizza Gorda is absolutely worth a visit.

Pizza gorda was a gorgeous, quaint dining experience. Our server, Lori, was so kind from the moment we stepped in. She made us feel welcome even though we are from a bit more than stones throw away from the area, (Dublin, Ireland😂) and we loved every minute. The sangria was delicious, the garlic knots were out of this world and the pizza was like it came straight from an Italian oven. The tiramisu was hard to squeeze in at the end as we were stuffed to the brim, and thank god we did. It was a beautiful, large portion that my friends and I devoured in 45 seconds flat. Really recommend to a friend, family or stranger!
Aoife G — Google review
Excellent pizza. I’m an enthusiast who’s eaten pizza all over the world and at all the famous places. This Marguerite pizza is right there with the greats. Maybe the crust could have been proofed a little longer for more depth, but I won’t take anything away from it. Also, maybe could have raised the pizza in the dome at the end for more of a top cook - but again, won’t take anything away. This is award winning pie. The crust was well made, the perfect chew and crunch with the start of a flavor depth. Sauce uses great tomatoes - guessing San Marzano. They’re enhanced with a tiny bit of salt and evoo. Yummy. The high moisture mozzarella is a great choice. And the fresh basil. Wow. Overall - excellent pie. Can’t wait to come back. Luckily my sister lives 5 minutes away.

We stopped in the marina for fuel and lunch. Due to hurricane Milton, there was no tying up boat for a lunch stay. We ran into this coffee/sandwich shop and ordered 9 sandwiches to go. Asked how long as dock was pressuring us, and was told 20 mins. No problem. We paid, threw nice tip in jar and walked around a bit. Came back and order was about ready. Lady came out from back and said we should have called first, as they had to turn others away due to our order. Then was told there is a 20% customary tip. Finally, they said some orders were substituted chips for potato salad as they ran out. We received no salad whatsoever. And how did lady in back making sandwiches know how much I had already tipped? Boy, sorry for the inconvenience, won’t ever be going back there again!

A "scoop" of nostalgia! A cozy corner ice cream and coffee parlor with a 50's/60's feel. A traditional selection of real ice cream (one non-dairy option) served on a traditional cone, waffle cone, or in a cup! If it's early (or it's been a rough day lol) grab one of their signature coffees! A local business serving good ol' feels!

I walked into the store with my bird on my shoulder, a reminder that the owners of Fisherman’s Village are big animal rescue advocates and support many local rescues. Instead of kindly asking me to leave, I was told, “You need to leave right now.” I expressed that there was no sign saying they have a no-pet policy. I left with no problems. Then the workers continued to talk badly about me bringing my parrot in after I had left, and people came up to my booth and told me multiple times that the manner in which they spoke to/about me was not professional. When I went back in to ask about pet policy, I was told, “We don’t allow pets, only service animals, and sometimes we don’t even allow service animals,” which is illegal. They will not be getting my money anymore. I have no problem with the fact that my animal wasn’t aloud into the store, but I do have a problem with the way they rudely spoke to me and continued to talk about me.

If I could give ZERO stars, I would. I was absolutely disgusted to find a ROACH cooked into the cheese of my baked ziti. Yes, you read that right — a literal roach baked into the food like it was part of the recipe. Totally unacceptable. This isn’t just a mistake — this is a sign of a serious infestation issue. If one roach made it into my dish, imagine what’s crawling around in that kitchen. Do yourself a favor and stay FAR away from this place. Health department needs to be involved ASAP. I’ve never been so horrified in my life. BEWARE.

Decided to try a new place. We went in were immediately shown to a table. The waitress answered our questions and explained things well. Our only disappointment was that fresh mozzarella was only available on one of the pizzas, a taste we really enjoyed while in Italy. The pie we had was quite good.

We got fried calamari and some sweet chili wings that were amazing! The servers were very nice and everything came out super fast and the appetizers were hot and tasty. The pizza was kinda of a let down it wasn’t the worst but it just fell apart quick and didn’t have the most flavor. Definitely not a bad meal at all though
Danger L — Google review
Did not like the experience at all this time around. I have been here on several occasions prior to this time and it has always been a great one. This time around, the service was mediocre at best. The server was very casual about taking our order and gave the vibe that he really didn't want to be there at that time. The place was empty, it was literally just us there. Every time before this there was always a fair amount of people inside the establishment. We ordered a few different items and they were all pretty bad. My pizza was burned underneath. Another plate had no taste at all. The vibe we received from this visit is that it appears the restaurant was in trouble and it was a matter of time before they may go out of business. There was no sense of urgency from the people working and it felt like they almost didn't care if we were there. This was definitely our last visit to this establishment. It had been a long time since we had a totally negative experience like this one.
