Witches Falls walking track is located in the Witches Falls section, Queensland's first national park. The main trail, Witches Falls Circuit, spans 3 km with a moderate grade and takes hikers through diverse landscapes including closed-in forests, rainforests with cycad groves, seasonal lagoons, strangler figs, and palm groves leading to the falls.
Nice natural hiking area. The track can be a bit muddy and slippery in some parts, I wouldn't recommend it for people afraid of heights or have an unsteady gait.
S — Google review
I feel like this was the first national park for a reason....to set the bar low for every other park to come. The hike just isn't really worth the view of the waterfall when there are so many other options. If it is wet, make sure you have rain boots or shoes you don't care about.
David S — Google review
The waterfall wasn't great. Trees are overgrown and blocking it. The lagoon was completely dry, and it looked like it had been for some time. The trees are stunning, and our children were excited to find leaves in the shape of hearts. The walk was a peaceful, beautiful place.
Sarah M — Google review
It was a beautiful solo walk with my music playing lightly in my headphones so I could still hear nature around me. It has lovely running waterfall and creeks, birds, and little scurrying animals in the underbrush.
Jessica W — Google review
TLDR - falls are not worth the effort. This whole track is a loop, so you can start either from the left (clockwise) or right (counterclockwise). I did the latter. This pathway starts easy, but becomes rockier as you go down. Quite a number of rocky steps down - some little ones were doing it carefully. I almost rolled my ankle multiple times on the way down. You will eventually reach a point where you have to choose to go left (complete the rest of the circuit) or right (to the Witches Falls lookout and Witches Chase Track) - I went right. You gotta watch for the sign for the falls lookout point - if you only focus on walking without reading the information boards you will miss it (I explain where this is in my photos because I almost missed it). The falls were the most disappointing thing I’ve ever seen. Just a trickle. Only later did I find out this is a ‘seasonal fall’ so you see nothing if the weather is dry. The effort it took to get to this point is not worth it, in my opinion. You can choose to go on to complete Witches Chase, which is an out-and-back route, or turn back and complete the Witches Falls Circuit. I turned back and the other way back to the carpark was easier, but also a narrow, constant gentle slope up nearing to the end. I had to stop to give way to people coming down the other side. I didn’t particularly enjoy this track. If the falls were magnificent and if the view was stunning I might still recommend it, but they weren’t.
Clare S — Google review
About a 3.5km round loop walk. Down the hill through woodland and then into a flatter area of palm forest. Lots of forest birds. Waterfall is a nice lookout spot. Take proper shoes as it is quite damp and muddy with some potential for leeches. Overall it's well worth the stroll
Megan M — Google review
Pretty nice track. Unfortunately there wasn't much to see at the seasonal lagoon. But we had a great time walking this trail
Tina T — Google review
Nice hike, I went there looking for a wild finger lime tree. I found two along the way. The traditional owners of the land call them jambreen trees, which turned into ,"tambourine" and that's where the mountain got it's current name.

Curtis Falls, located in Tamborine Mountain, offers a moderate 1.5km circuit suitable for families. The trail descends through rocky paths and bush stairs into a lush rainforest with eucalypts and palms forming the canopy. At the bottom awaits the splendid Curtis Falls, overlooking a beautiful rock pool and stream. The ground can be muddy and slippery in some areas, especially after rainfall.
Beautiful walk and scenery of the Falls. Be warned it's a lil tricky but manageable in some areas of the trail down. Not accessible for wheelchair or walking aids due to stairs in some sections. Parking available at top of hill. No road access. (Google map slightly off at time of review)
Lina S — Google review
Nice place, few pools and waterfalls here. There are picnic spots as well with tables and benches, no BBQ plate, and a toilet block. Good safe and secure walks around waterfalls, alright for age group 5 yrs to 70yr, unless one cannot walk well. No wheelchair access at these tracks. Absolutely spectacular place during or just after a good rain event.
Rinesh R — Google review
Well worth the walk down to the falls. We even spotted some wildlife. Free entry and wasn’t busy when we went. PSA - don’t wear white shoes. I saw many people walking back to their car with very muddy shoes. Recommend hiking shoes and if you don’t want muddy car floor, bring plastic bag and clean shoes to change into. Don’t leave used baby wipes all over the carpark like what others before us did. Absolutely appalling someone did this!
Jo C — Google review
Pleasent easy walk. Well maintained. Lots of small stairs.
Nevill — Google review
Short and easy trail within beautiful rain forest to reach the fall . We went on public holiday, so it was quite packed.
Luna K — Google review
*Doable hike for kids 3+* Everything FREE. Picnic area with toilets at the start of the trail. Beautiful well-kept trail among those types of Aussie trees that look like they're standing on tip-toes. Easy and quick descent to a beautiful waterfall with some massive hollow logs. Still not sure how those logs got hollow.
Loren R — Google review
Loved the walk to this beautiful waterfall. An easy moderate walk full of exciting scenery. The trees and the rainforest itself was spectacular. The sound of the waterfall can be heard from the carpark and was a wonder when up close. Definitely recommend you see it with your own eyes.

Nestled in the scenic Tamborine Mountain, the Tamborine Mountain Regional Botanic Gardens is a captivating destination that showcases an impressive array of both indigenous and exotic plants. Just a short drive from Surfers Paradise, this hidden gem invites visitors to wander through its themed areas, including a serene Japanese garden and lush rainforest. As you stroll along the winding paths, you'll be treated to stunning panoramic views of the surrounding valleys that beautifully capture the essence of Gold Coast's landscapes.
A must stop on Tambourine!! The gardens are absolutely gorgeous, even when we went in winter. Flowers were blooming, everything was green and lush!! Each themed area in the park was fabulous and kids areas were really maintained. Put this on your list!!

I can’t say enough great things about this garden! There’s a beautiful mix of exotic and native Flora so that there is always something in bloom! My recent Business in spring time caught the wisteria Arbor in full flower while the residents were looking absolutely smashing!

Tamborine National Park, located in the Gold Coast Hinterland of South-East Queensland, is a stunning natural reserve that offers a variety of landscapes and environments to explore. With rainforests, gorges, waterfalls, and scenic overlooks, the park provides an opportunity for visitors to immerse themselves in nature. The park features several sections including Cedar Grove, The Knoll, Palm Grove, and Witches Falls.
This is a lovely national park with well maintained trails. The toliets are clean and do flush. There is lots of seating and the grass is well maintained. The views are lovely and the paths are short enough to be enjoyed by many. The paths are very muddy and slippery when wet. Also some steep sections so not suitable for people who need support walking.

Beautiful at cedar creek Falls! Well maintained and clean! Parking is abit difficult if u dont have a motorbike as there isn't many parks but noticed houses around are renting there yards out to park in 😀

A Refreshing Day Trip to Tambourine National Park This past weekend, we embarked on a delightful day trip to Tambourine National Park, immersing ourselves in the tranquility of nature. The fresh mountain air and captivating scenery provided a perfect escape from the everyday hustle. Our exploration revealed a vibrant tapestry of natural beauty. Lush greenery, colorful flora, and the gentle hum of bees created a truly serene atmosphere. We encountered fascinating wildlife, including sticky tree frogs and other friendly creatures, adding to the charm of the experience. The park's captivating creeks, rushing water, and breathtaking vistas provided endless opportunities for wonder and appreciation. To complete this perfect day, we visited a winery, reveling in the picturesque views and verdant landscapes. We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to experience this natural haven. Tambourine National Park offers a truly restorative escape for those seeking a connection with the beauty of the outdoors. A separate review detailing our late afternoon culinary experience at the Bearded Dragon Hotel restaurant has been posted.

Lovely part of the world. Our favourite spot was Curtis Falls. You can walk the high trail or low trail. Byo swimmers and towels for the rock pools.
Pete S — Google review
Some fairly impressive waterfalls and the scenery is pretty spectacular. There are a number of walking trails here which are all fairly easy to navigate if you are reasonably fit. Make sure to bring water and sunscreen. And perhaps try to avoid peak periods as it can become quite crowded especially during schoolies. Well worth a visit!
Jᥲmіᥱ — Google review
There are plenty of parking spots outside the park. So parking wouldn't be a problem here. When I came to this park I have no idea what is that. Thought it is beautiful and a long trail for running/walking. Beautiful? Yes, definitely! I was stunned by the view of the waterfall and the valley. Long trail? No, or maybe I didn't explore enough. It is just 30mins walking distance to all the trails. Been trying some off road trail but it's all the dead end. I guess I need to change my hiking shoes to swim suits if I come again next time as this is more to enjoying the ice cold water at the waterfall area.

Beautiful rain Forest. Lots of Walks and waterfalls. Great place for a family bush walks. Pools that you can swim in. What an awesome place. There are good amenities here including well maintained toilets and picnic tables. Parking can be quite limited. All in all highly recommended.

This place is lovely. Walking path which takes you to a small water fall. Some of the trees here are stunning. Coming back up the path may be difficult for some. Toilet block at the start of the track near the carpark.

The Tamborine Rainforest Skywalk is a thrilling treetop walk that takes you through the lush rainforest canopy of Mount Tamborine. This 1.5km adventure includes about 300m of steel bridges and a 40m-long cantilever that soars 30m above the creek below, offering a unique perspective on the forest and its inhabitants.
A wonderful walk in the rainforest seeing the rich fauna and wildlife. An easy walk that offers stunning views but also great educational opportunities for the family and students of nature. The reception team were friendly and even on a Sunday afternoon there was good parking. Overall good value and a joy to see how the money spent is well invested in protecting nature. Enjoy the walk…
J N — Google review
Walking through a rain forest was a great experience. The signage was good. Some of the ground walk was uneven, so wear suitable walking shoes. Saw one water dragon, heard lots of birds but didn't see any. There was another visitor who was playing a flute while he was walking around, sounded great and fitted into the environment. Staff were friendly and helpful. Walk takes about 40 mins at a nice leisurely pace.
J N — Google review
Took visiting tourists on a lovely outing. A couple who arrived before us was visibly distressed by the movement of the promontory point. It's not enjoyable for people easily distressed by heights or swaying caused by simple foot falls. We didn't spot any wildlife aside from a few water dragons and common birds but the trail is so interesting as it weaves through the layers of the canopy I think it's worth it. We only saw one or two orchids in bloom too so it's probably better when it's not early spring.
Kathryn K — Google review
This place is fantastic ❤️ A small entry fee is totally worth the views to walk along the treetops. Great views all the way to the creek. Totally worth the stop
Monica M — Google review
We loved the skywalk and we appreciate the care that has gone into making it a safe and educational experience. We learned a lot about the rainforests in southern Queensland and saw some amazing landscapes. The butterfly observation point was not as prolific in the spring as it was last summer, but still caught a glimpse of a few birdwings. It's definitely a place you want to check out if you're visiting Tambourine.
Craig C — Google review
Amazing walk in the rainforest. Great views from the tree tops. Great place to visit for all ages. Easy walk with lots of fauna and insects around. Listen out for the birds and enjoy the scenery
Jackson R — Google review
The skywalk was very good. It was well kept and a lovely walk through the rain forest at different heights and outlooks. The walk was easy and at a leisurely pace it was probably less than an hour. There's a nice gift shop and cafe. Staff were lovely and helpful.
Pamela R — Google review
Short Nature Trail and Skywalk that is privately owned. Good for beginners and those who want to experience walking high up along the top of the trees. Trail should not take more than an hour including all the stops at lookouts and photo taking moments.

Cedar Creek Falls, located in Tamborine Mountain, is a beloved tourist spot offering picturesque walking tracks that lead to spectacular falls, a stunning canyon, and rock pools popular for swimming. The falls can be reached via an easy 500m walk or a moderate 900m walk to the rock pools. This area also offers family adventures with nearby attractions like the TreeTop Challenge adventure park and Thunderbird Park.
Great swimming spot with heaps of pools, water is nice and fresh on a hot day. There's a good pool right at the start of you can't be bothered going down further. Can be busy and there's not much parking at all so be prepared to walk a bit from the main road turn off and park up there instead. Toilets available and picnic tables and a lookout if you don't wanna walk all the way down
Sionainne C — Google review
Got here at 840am on a Sunday school holiday and found a lot easily - there were only 2 other cars there before me. The last time I came after 11am on a Saturday and it was full all the way out to the main road, so we couldnt do this track! I’m glad I could this time. Super flat and easy walk to the falls which also serve as swimming holes. It was very serene when only a couple people were there. I took 10 min to reach the falls (not the lookout point, the actual waterfall) from the parking lot. When I got back out closer to 9am, the parking lot was already 80% full! Clearly very popular.
Clare S — Google review
After reading a few reviews and seeing we were heading to Mt. Tambourine we decided to make the venture to the falls. And boy are we glad we did. It’s not an easy hike although the stairs and trail are well established and hey, if I can do it so can you. I did end up though sweating up a storm! The falls were beautiful and the pools at the bottom had people swimming and jumping in them. Quite a few people about. The 6 of us rid ourselves of our footwear and went for a wade which was lovely. Well worth the visit.
Corrie B — Google review
Good carpark and easy access to view the top of the waterfall. If you'd like to see more, there are rock stairs. Path is easy to navigate and clear of debris.
Natalie H — Google review
A gorgeous piece of forest, the falls are only a short walk from the carpark. Once past the falls, the tracks had little signage unfortunately mkaing it less appealing for a leisurely stroll. I will go back when I have the time to get lost!!
Jacqueline O — Google review
Awesome location, easy walking track (except the last set of stairs near the rockpools). Stunning location with plenty of wildlife.
Salem T — Google review
A beautiful spot. Been there on a Monday, 1,5 hrs before sunset. It was pretty quiet, swimming was outstanding and the view absolutely magnificent.
Sören B — Google review
What a stunning place to visit, very accessible. Short walk from the carpark with a bit of a decline. There are multiple pools accessible from the main walk way and some that are accessible via a hole in a fence but would be unnecessary given the swimming options further down. The sun was out, the water was cold but the scenery was picturesque. There is a jump rock that looks fairly dangerous but a few young gentleman performed for the onlookers.

The Glow Worm Caves, located in the Gold Coast's stunning hinterland, offer an educational and enchanting experience for visitors. These manmade caves provide a controlled environment where visitors can observe thousands of glowing worms in a replica limestone world complete with stalagmites, stalactites, and water features. The tour includes a short video about the glow worms before venturing into the pitch-black cave to witness these fascinating insects in their natural habitat.
Absolutely loved the glow worm cave. I learnt so much about them. This is a man-made rainforest and a man-made cave which was just amazing. The frog hollow was just an added extra which I also enjoyed. And I love Cedar Creek running through the rainforest and all the random bush turkeys just wandering around. Amazing!!!

Beautiful scenic drive then you arrive and are greeted by friendly staff in a delightful setting. Momo was our guide and she was friendly and full of enthusiasm for her job. She imparted a ton of information in a way that made it interesting. The grounds are well kept and the attached cafe, gift shop and winery are beautifully set up. We purchased some excellent gifts to take away with us. You cannot take photos inside the cave but outside and around the frog breeding areas you can. A great way to spend a few hours.
Sally K — Google review
We visited with my elderly mother to whom wanted to see the butterflies 🦋 to which was not opened as yet and nothing was noted on their website about not been opened. Otherwise the glow-worms was a delightful experience along with the cafe and gardens. Would be nice if you cleaned up the rubbish in the pond and gardens to which the manager walked right past

Great, informative tour as part of ticket and entry. The glow worms were AMAZING. The cave was full of them glowing brightly. There's also Frog Hollow to see too. All set in lush rainforest on a vineyard estate. There's also a lovely cafe/restaurant and wine tastings. Definitely worth a visit.

Educational and informative guided tour, you will learn a lot about glow worms and see them lining up the man-made cave walls. The centre itself situated at a nice bush area and the garden is lovely. Worthwhile to visit.
Luyu P — Google review
Had a tour with Beau Eastman. It was his first tour but what a bubbly knowledgeable chap. We found out that he was a film maker and has done work for Sir David Attenborough. We had to dig to get that but it was amazing to hear his adventures after the tour. Made the whole tour just that bit more engaging and magical. The glow worm story is pretty cool. It’s like you end up inside the galaxy in space. And the whole place is actually bright from the glow after your eyes adjust. Worth checking out for sure. The frogs and lizards is a bonus.

Tour guide Austin was very informative and made learning about glow worms interesting and fun. Definitely worth $30 to experience.

Thunderbird Park is a sprawling 112-hectare tourist destination that offers a variety of activities set in a picturesque natural environment. Visitors can enjoy fossicking for gem-filled thunder eggs, embark on the Tree Top Challenge - Australia's longest and highest adventure ropes course, go horse trail riding, bushwalking, or engage in laser skirmish in an authentic rainforest battlefield. The park also provides accommodation options such as caravans, camping, and bunkhouses.
We just spent a lovely family long weekend here. I highly recommend for all the different activity options. We played mini golf, played with the mini diggers at dig it and fossicked for thundereggs. My 11yo girl and 13 yo boy loved every minute. Free wood and kindling for use in the firepit at our room and free family movie night were lovely touches. Most importantly for a young coeliac, they had Gluten-free options and separate fryer! 🎉 Can't forget to mention ALL the lovely, friendly staff, we did not have a lukewarm interaction with anyone. With special mention going to the lovely Kim who was warm, friendly and welcoming. So many more things to do, we're going to have to come back to do the other activities!
Roselyn B — Google review
Fossicking was a great activity for the kids - very dusty and hot in the sun (make sure you take a hat and bottle of water). A suggestion - it would be nice if a few staff were up in the dig site to help kids identify areas to dig or rocks that 'might' be worth taking down to be cut. Whilst some parts of the park are looking a little tired it was still a fun day out overall.
Sawyer S — Google review
Kids had an absolute ball at the high ropes course. Was a little disappointed that there was no public seating/BBQ areas to have a picnic lunch while waiting. I understand that there is a cafe for people to enjoy but when the cost of the activities is quite high we wanted to do our own lunch. Thankfully there was a grassy patch of grass and we took some gas BBQs of our own. A really relaxed enjoyable afternoon.
Danielles O — Google review
Overall the park is great! Beautiful and very peaceful. We went for a work conference here and did the high ropes course, this was very challenging and exciting. The rooms were lovely, just a bit older. The service from the restaurant staff was the only thing I could say needs improvement, it's quite slow and staff are not very friendly, felt like a burden asking for a coffee, which also took very long. Regardless this won't deter me from going again to do the activities or stay.
Elke B — Google review
An amazing park for the family. Not overcrowded and plenty of activities to do. Unfortunately we found all the activities to be quite overpriced though. Bird feeding is NOT what it’s made out to be in pics or by influencers. The young staff at the Jnr Treetops were all very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend spending the day there (with pockets full).
Fleury — Google review
We did the Tree Top challenge here and had a blast. For us, Lily made the experience. She kept us engaged from when she was instructing us on safety, to encouraging us as we attempted their difficult rope challenges. She was so confident and personable that we were feeling like friends, and were surprised to hear that she had only been there for less than a year. Definitely recommend checking this place out.
Nico M — Google review
Stayed a couple of nights in Frog Lodge as part of a wedding group — peaceful, scenic, and beautifully designed up on the hillside near the pickleball court. Staff were lovely and helpful, and the breakfast buffet was next level! After many average hotel buffets over the years, this one really stood out — fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. Thank you for an awesome experience!

Nestled in the north-west of North Tamborine, The Knoll section is a delightful destination for nature lovers and families alike. With its inviting picnic area equipped with BBQ facilities, tables, and benches, it’s perfect for enjoying a meal surrounded by lush greenery. Kids can frolic on the expansive grassy spaces while adults take in breathtaking views from the lookout that showcases Flinders Peak, Mount Perry, Birnam Range, and Yarrabilba.
This is one of my favourite forest walks on Tamborine because it combines the beautiful experience of being in the forest with a waterfall and spectacular wide views to the north. It also has good tracks and is not a difficult walk, although there are a few stone steps here and there. Half the walk has mottled sunlight streaming though, so it's not a dark walk. There's a lookout halfway into the walk, near the waterfall, as well as a lookout at the top of the carpark, near a picnic area.

Cant see too much of Cameron falls from the viewing point. But the walk itself was pretty nice and you get to walk right over the waterfall too. Has picnic spots and bathrooms where you first arrive, along with a nice lookout!

A great look out spot on Tamborine Mountain in the middle of a great forest. It’s shady so the warm sun does not get into your face and it’s also a quiet little area. The tall trees in the forest makes it a photo worthy spot. Try venturing a little into the trees and there will be a path to a track. A must go spot when visiting Tamborine Mountain.

Well maintained like any other national park in QLD. Ample seating for picnic spots and a lookout close to the main entrance. The waterfall at the end of the trail ain't spectacular so that's a bit of a let down. But it's nature's work so no complaining 😁.

Great area, nice walk in nature! Some areas are a bit tight. Can be walked, however it's not easy all the way.

Went there expecting bbq as posted all across internet but there is none to be found!! Went to nearby Geissman oval instead which had 1 broken and 1 working bbq. It’s a nice enough look out and has a walk done in past (was shut at the time).

Personally, I won't be back to do this walk again. The view of the falls was blocked by trees and there wasn't alot of wild life apart from all the mosquitoes!

Nice walking track. We went there after rain and the forest looked alive. You can also see Brisbane City, Mt Gravatt, Mt Cootha and Glass house mountains on a clear day, which is interesting.

The Palm Grove Circuit in Mount Tamborine offers a tranquil 2.6km return walk through lush rainforest, featuring towering palm trees, gum trees, and hoop pines. Along the way, hikers can admire a fallen strangler tree and giant trees. The Curtis Falls Circuit is another popular option, offering a moderate grade 1.5km return walk through majestic eucalypts and towering palms.
Beautiful quiet tracks. I guess not as popular as other Tamborine trails because there's no water but what a delight! You can come back through the back streets which gives you an opportunity to discover and admire lovely gardens and plants galore.

Pademelon gold mine here, seen least 10. At one stage there was 5 on the walking track. They seem to spot hikers before you spot them and take off, although they stop to watch in curiosity. The standard walk was 60 minutes, will try the extended walk next time.

Perfect stroll through the forest. Had my tramping boots on to protect my ankles glad l did as there was alot of loose rocks. If wearing regular runners be mindful of your step and it will be a walk where you are looking mostly at the track. Remember to stop and enjoy all around you. Wpuld be slippery when wet.

Beautiful walk. Beware of thorny vines draping across the path at head height. My son was sitting on my shoulders and got tangled in some resulting in nasty cuts.

Very small area for parking, luckily it was quiet when we were there. Out of the different walks on Mount Tambourine, we loved Palm circuit that was the best one in our opinion. There was not a drop of water to be seen running anywhere!

There are SO many offend places to enjoy along this marvellous street. From bakeries, to restaurants, to gift stores, to artisans, there are many options of places to eat or be inspired. We stayed at a place on this street and didn’t drive anywhere for 4 days. We dined at so many different and interesting places and had the most wonderful time for our 34th wedding anniversary. If you’re here for a day, part of a day, or a few days, you will leave with a smile, a spring in your step and a satisfied belly.

The hub of the area, busy and busier. Lots of see, some good, some great and some not so much. Something for everyone, but my favourite is the Christmas store. Finding parking can be difficult but you should stop nonetheless and soak in the local vibe.

What a beautiful walk. Stunning scenery, flowers, shops and restaurants. It was lovely to meander down and check out all the stores with candies, fudge, clothes and food. We were lucky to find a carpark everyday on the weekend we were there , but it does get super busy so may be an issue sometimes.

If you appreciate crystals and enjoy the pleasant weather, you'll definitely like this place. It offers great sunset viewing spots nearby, which add to the overall experience. The gallery walk is a delightful option for those who appreciate nature's beauty and crystal enthusiasts alike. The shop owners are very friendly too. Parking is a problem though, there’s a car park at the end of the road but it’s always packed. I usually head up around 2 or 3, lesser crowd. Cauldron Distillery is a renowned gin producer located in Tamborine Mountain. The distillery has gained recognition for its craft gins, winning numerous awards. Visitors can enjoy gin paddles featuring Cauldron's core range gins paired with tonic or soda. Additionally, the distillery offers gin blending classes as part of the Eat Local Month program.
We had such a lovely time visiting Cauldron over the weekend. We ordered the gin paddle and shared a charcuterie board filled with delicious local produce. I highly recommend trying the truffle and fennel salami – it was hands down the best we’ve ever had. We spent the afternoon soaking up the warm sun, and the property looked absolutely stunning during golden hour. We had a great chat with one of the owners, Greg, and found out that their liquor license covers the entire estate, so you're welcome to bring a picnic blanket and enjoy wine anywhere on the grounds. You can wander through the vines and simply enjoy the relaxed atmosphere with friends or family. There was live music playing, which added a beautiful touch to the afternoon. The food coming out of the kitchen looked incredible, the service was quick, and the staff were so friendly and welcoming.

We took part in the gin blending class and it was fantastic. It’s hard to imagine it can work out so well in the end, but the guidance and support was incredible. And you get to take away your own blend!!! . An afternoon in the beautiful sun following, with great food too, what more can you ask for?

Great service, delicious gin and food, even better to support our local economy!

The Curtis Falls walking track is a great place to go for a little bushwalk, with steps leading down to the falls and beautiful views of trees and the creek below. The track is accessible from the car park and takes around 15 minutes to walk to the falls.
First time being here and it was a nice relaxing experience. My little one enjoyed it a lot and the waterfall was very nice though fenced off due to Tamborine Mountain being a glow worm conservation ground. The track is not too difficult for casual hikers. Was fortunate to see a Scrub Turkey as well! A nice day out for the family and causal hikers alike.
BadulaJohnson — Google review
Nice trek. I enjoyed the walk more than the Curtis Falls itself. We could hear birds, we spotted a Wallaby, and the trees are majestic. As for the Curtis Falls, the flow of water was less abundant. I wonder if’s that’s due to the period of the year that we visited (October). Bear in mind that there are stairs and the trail is uneven (roots and rocks on the way), but it’s nothing intimidating. We had my mum (60+) and our 8-year-old with us, and the whole trek (go and back) took us roughly 1 hour.
Gabriela M — Google review
Such a beautiful walk! Great for the family. It was so handy that there was a little shop next door. I was able to get myself and my kids cold drinks and ice creams. The owners said they will be open every weekend and school holidays.

Absolutely loved my hike at Curtis Falls Walking Track! The trail was well-maintained and offered a perfect mix of lush rainforest, beautiful scenery, and the soothing sound of the waterfall at the end. The air felt fresh and rejuvenating, and the walk itself was enjoyable challenging enough to feel like a good workout but still accessible for most fitness levels. Spotting the waterfall was a highlight, and the tranquil spot was perfect for photos and relaxing. I highly recommend this walk to anyone looking to immerse themselves in nature and unwind
Bishoy Y — Google review
A lovely (short) walk to wrap up a day around Mt Tambourine. There are loos at the car park and it's a short, slightly steep, walk to the falls. The path is well signed and well kept, however there are stairs scattered in sections so this is a walk-in and walk-out waterfall. I made it down and back out after some photos in about 20minutes. Located very close to the Gallery Walk. An easy way to catch a waterfall on a day trip!
Tiffaney N — Google review
Good for a casual walk, not challenging, but has stairs, some large rock crossings and tree trunks in the way. If you add in the Lower creek circuit track, it makes for a good exercise circuit without being to strenuous. Fantastic serene track with natural rainforest scenery, good outing for all the family. To keep the enthusiasm up with teens or even family members that are struggling fitness wise, add a game in with "Best and most creative" photograph.
Alf A — Google review
Lovely environment. The forest was beautiful and full of wildlife. The walk was pretty easy but not suitable for people with mobility issues. Otherwise I 100% recommend a visit.
Niamh S — Google review
Curtis Falls Walking Track was beautiful after the rain. 🌿 The 2-hour walk had muddy sections and some fallen trees from earlier extreme weather, but still fine to enjoy. It’s cooler inside the rainforest, so bring an extra layer. Wear sturdy shoes, go after rain for the best atmosphere, and watch out for slippery spots. Fresh air and lush scenery made it worth it!

The MacDonald Section of Tamborine National Park offers a tranquil 1.4-km hike through lush subtropical rainforest, named after Miss Jessie MacDonald who donated part of the area in 1933. The flat loop trail winds through a ferny understorey and vine-covered canopy, providing ample opportunities for bird watching and nature spotting. Visitors can relax at sheltered picnic tables amidst towering strangler figs, ferns, and palms.
Great little track definitely recommend going when it raining or has been raining, yes you will get wet, fall over and get muddy but it will be beautiful.

Lovely stroll through the trees. However do not go if it has been raining as the path is very muddy and uneven from water trails, hence the word stroll. Other than that a great circuit, l did assume it being close to town the trail would of been looked after more is all, given a rating of three.

The Lower Creek Circuit is a picturesque rainforest trail located near Tamborine Mountain, offering a perfect day trip from Gold Coast or Brisbane. The track meanders through lush Eucalypt forests and alongside freshwater creeks and waterfalls, with the highlight being the stunning Curtis Falls. This hour-long walking circuit in the Joalah Section of Tamborine National Park showcases the area's natural beauty, featuring paved sections with some river crossings that add an adventurous touch.
Part of the Joalah Section, the Lower Creek Circuit is an excellent walking track that takes around an hour to complete. This track showcases the beauty of the forests, waterfalls and rivers of the Tamborine National Park. The trail is quite easy to complete as the uphill and downhill sections are mostly paved. However, there is a section of the circuit where you have to cross through the river by either getting wet or by hopping between logs and stones. Furthermore, I recommend not doing this trail after or when it is raining as the amount of mud is insane, as shown in the pictures. In conclusion, this is a pretty easy trail which has very beautiful scenic views.

This circuit is considered grade 4: need proper bushwalking shoes, crossing rocky creek and many ups and downs points with slippery rocks. But it’s worth to visit and fun!
Dahms C — Google review
Starts off from car park and splits off from Curtis Falls trail to go downstream, visiting both banks of creek. We took an additional 30min and it was easy in winter, but I can imagine crossing the river at the end of the loop during the wet season could be challenging.

I recently visited this spot again and had a generally pleasant experience, it still has a relaxed, low-key atmosphere. Good spot for families. The cider was delicious and easily one of the standouts of the visit. As for the food, it was a bit of a mixed bag. The wings were fine - nothing particularly memorable but perfectly acceptable. The loaded chips showed a lot of potential, with a great combination of ingredients and appealing presentation. However, the dish overall was lacking in flavour. The chicken could have used more seasoning, and the pulled pork, needed a more generous portion and a saucier, richer consistency. The only sauce seemed to be a bit of mayo on top, which wasn’t quite enough to bring the whole dish together as it was quite dry. The foundation is definitely there - a few adjustments could elevate the dish significantly. I know from previous visits that the pizzas are really good and maybe we should’ve had one of those.

Plenty of tables & seating. Bar staff were extra helpful & friendly even describing the beers 🍻 and taking a photo at our table for us. Plenty of free parking in out front Car Park. Can order cheeses from next door to have at table. Bonus, it's DOG Friendly. Good selection of Craft beers on tap, unfortunately the XPA I tried & liked was unavailable as a takeaway. I can definitely recommend a visit here, we will certainly come back again 🍻 Cheers ✔️

Went for a late lunch on a Saturday. Lovely staff, option to have food from the pub or platters from the cheese shop, both very good. And plenty of space for the kids to run around. I left my handbag there by mistake and couldn't get it back as I'm not local and the owner very kindly posted it back to us. Amazing customer service, thanks!!

3 hard earned stars for a fair priced squealer refill and tasty beer range by head brewer - 2 stars missing due to the garbage quality pizza under the current management, if you’d like a supermarket style pizza base at Full Price of a gourmet organic one, this is now the spot. $28 waste. Couple years ago had an amazing pizza here - freshly made real cooked pizza oven base, but I guess that is no more. Only mention this because it needs to be told, managers standing around while table salts napkins or cutlery are missing from the tables. sad if it’s just another corporate takeover of a once genuinely good venue.

On my recent visit, I was captivated by its quaint atmosphere, especially with the misty rain adding to the ambiance.

Found this place on a recent trip to Mt Tamborine. Very quaint and enjoyable especially with the rain and clouds rolling in. Our food was good. Hubby's beef pie was well to his liking with flaky pastry and meaty chunks. My Caesar salad was served deconstructed which was unexpected. The coffees were nice. Service was friendly but slow. Cost for 2 meals with coffees was $56. We would definitely visit this coffee shop again but I won't order the Caesar salad next time. Visited again last weekend. Menu has changed. I ordered soup, hubby ordered a burger. Tasty enough but nothing spectacular. At $26 the burger was overpriced. Lovely atmosphere but not sure we'll visit again.

We enjoyed a lovely Sunday brunch here this morning. Our Vegetarian & Vegan meals were really good, and the coffee was also good. The venue itself is stunning. There’s lots of outdoor seating and limited indoor seating, as the main indoor seating seems to be reserved for weddings. There’s on-site parking as well. Whoever maintains the Google Business account should list this as a cafe (it doesn’t currently appear in search results if you type in “cafe”). They even had live music this morning. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area. 😎

Great walk, we did it first thing in the morning just after sunrise being the first to walk the trail was quite something I could not believe how many spiderwebs crossed the trails...With nobody else around the forest sounds incredible. I highly recommend this walk if you take your time and stop you could easily spend 2 hours there.

Beautiful adventure into the rainforest - definitely a worthwhile visit. The road to Mt Tamborine was not for those who suffer from motion sickness. The roads were incredibly sharp and windy. The cafe serves coffee and light snacks. The experience itself was short, but magical. We managed to go when it began to rain, which made the experience more beautiful!
Littlemisscass — Google review
Really nice and relaxing walk amongst the treetops. Whilst I enjoyed it, I just felt like it was missing something and because it was still under construction I thought that $20pp was a little steep for what you get. I would definitely recommend the walk its just that I have been to many walks like this and they are free including (Kings Park, Perth WA). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the walk but maybe a nice Cafe and some animals/better vantage points. 4 🌟

Its such a beautiful and scenic place. It has few lookout areas on the way and there are so many things to do in Mount Tamborine. It also has a lovely cafe which has a view to the mountains and trees. It has world's first tree top walk.

Great spot, nice walk.

Had a great day out with the kids at Curtis Falls. Walk was long enough but not too challenging, great experience. The cafe adjoining was also very nice.

Awesome short walk. Looked very ancient. Such a lovely legacy to leave 29 acres for all to enjoy. Lots of fallen trees and Palm fronds but still lovely.

Sandy Creek Circuit in Tamborine National Park is a short but enchanting walk that takes you through lush rainforest and towering eucalypt trees. The track offers stunning views of the valley and Cameron Falls, with the western lookout providing clear vistas of Mount Flinders and the southern suburbs of Brisbane. However, hikers should be cautious as the trail runs close to steep cliff edges.
Nice little circuit. We went after a rain, so the track was a bit slippery at some points. It has big steps from time to time so keep that mind if you have difficulties climbing such places. The vegetation overgrown the path at the waterfall part and 70% of the view towards the waterfall itself is being blocked by shrubs and trees, so don't expect too much from that, but the forest is really nice and the little creek as well.
Gergo B — Google review
Nice walk, lovely rainforest. Bit muddy here and there (hey, this is a rainforest) and a couple of fallen trees, but walkable. View of the falls is good but hard to see the full falls from the platform.
Frankie B — Google review
Loved this track, I'd recommend going right first once you hit the circuit as there are more steps this way. I saw someone said they took their 60 year old parents on this track and I would say only take them if they're experienced hikers! This track has a lot of exposed rocks and roots along the path that could definitely be trip hazards once tired.
BT S — Google review
Currently closed. Except the look out at knoll road. Unknown date as to when it will be open again.
Philip B — Google review
A few fallen trees since the Christmas storms but still able to walk around the track. Took an hour but I was walking slowly and taking some photos. Saw a few bush turkeys and some small birds.
Darren S — Google review
Good circuit track through a palm grove and some rainforest done in 30 mins. Views of the west and waterfalls were obscured by the overgrowth (mostly lantana). A few stairs but nothing strenuous.
J M — Google review
Great walking track. It really feels like you've had a good exercise day by doing it while enjoying the beauty.
Issac T — Google review
2.6km round trip trail to a lookout platform from where you can catch a glimpse of the falls; as another reviewer noted, you can't really see the falls as they are behind lots of trees. We visited the falls a week after rain, and there was water and mud across the path that caused lots of people to get their shoes really muddy, including several little girls in pink sneakers. Wear boots - you won't regret it. The other leg of the circuit goes right over the water behind the falls. You can only see the water as it goes over the edge, but it is very pretty, much nicer than the viewing platform. The path was also much less muddy and wet. I am posting several photos taken with a drone. Not for the faint-hearted, but if you have a drone you may like to risk it.

The Palm Grove Section in Mt Tamborine offers a tranquil walking trail through a lush forest filled with towering trees and diverse wildlife, including birds and marsupials. This section features two walks: the 2.7km Palm Grove circuit and the Jenyns circuit, both graded as level 4 tracks. Named after the piccabeen palm that thrives here, this area also provides picnic tables for visitors to enjoy.
Nice and easy walk through subtropical rainforest, not too hot even in summer due to the area being shaded as well as wet and cool. Great amount of amazing flora and fauna. Many palm trees, hence the name, as well as ancient fig trees, staghorns, ferns and moss just to name a few. There are also small streams which you can see from the track. The tracks are easy to follow with signs and markers at intersections. There is little elevation gain so it is not steep. At certain points, there are also large gaps and breaks in the vegetation where you can see out east to the Gold Coast and the Pacific Ocean. The car park is a little small though, with only 3 or so slots, though you can park on the surrounding streets.
Ryan P — Google review
Very peaceful rainforest walk. We really enjoyed the atmosphere whilst listening to the different Birdlife & spotting pademelons. The circuit does appear to require some maintenance. We climbed over a big fallen tree across the path near the end. Planks of wood were placed instead of a bridge in one spot but we went to the left of it. Palm leaves were falling from quite a height today making us very alert! Take extra care walking across the muddy areas and rocky path at times. Water is flowing nicely in sections. Shaded and a nice temperature this Autumn morning. Remember the bug spray. Parking for Palm Grove Circuit has a small carpark to start from with information board. No dogs or bikes permitted.
Ash — Google review
As a lone walker I was quiet enough to see alot of red-necked pademelons without them getting scared allowing them to carry on eatting while i watched. Track was easy, signage a little confusing. Limited car parking. Popular walk.
A. J — Google review
Really stunning walk, was a bit muddy due to some rain a few days ago, but nothing too crazy. A few sections of the track are a bit damaged and require you to go around, but well worth going to
Brett D — Google review
We had a great experience made even more memorable by a torrential downpour that descended on us about half way around the longest loop. Sorry no pictures of the rain as I was trying to preserve our electronics that were in my unprotected backpack. We spent an hour walking on slippery rocks and a messy track. When the rain came down the leeches emerged. We did not realize the leeches were attaching to our legs until we were almost back to our car. By then we had dozens to deal with. After some blood letting we did survive. The memories we have will be priceless when in old age we are sitting in our rocking chairs.
Steve C — Google review
Such a stunning walk. It's easy, boggy in sections after rain, peaceful and totally serene.
J B — Google review
Great views but the proximity to the road and houses kills the atmosphere. When I was there I could hear people with leaf blowers, motorbikes, etc... Not exactly the sounds of a rain forest.
Simo C — Google review
This place ia amazing. Do the full circuit ob a quite day and you will be rewarded with tranquility. Pademelons, Wompoosand Giant Trees.

The trail takes you from eucalypt forest to lush rainforest filled with ferns and trees, culminating in outstanding views of the falls and rockpools below. The area is also home to glow worms and abundant birdlife, including lyrebirds in winter.
Very nice walk, unfortunately we did hiking a night before is raining and the track slippery and muddy, when crossing the river it was suddenly raining, very challenging that create memorable

Did both Curtis and Lower creek circuit. Easy, short tracks. Boulder crossing was intense as I choose a day it was raining. Popular track. Highlight was seeing a carpet python 400m from the start. Great coffee at Pavillion

The Joalah Section is part of the Tamborine National Park on the Tamborine Mountain. It is quite a beautiful area, only an hour drive from Brisbane. There is a wide range of flora and fauna such as large trees and shrubs, various birds, glow worms and even platypuses. In addition to the forest, there is a waterfall and creek/river that runs through the forest.

Super fun, but challenging but that is half the fun. Busy. But will be back for the forth time 🚶‍♀️
Eloise D — Google review
So beautiful and picturesque. Tracks were slightly wet and muddy on the day we went, but not so bad that we slipped. There were toilets at the car park but I didn't use so can't speak to their cleanliness. There were also free parks when I arrived and people were coming and going during our time. It was just overall a nice experience and short walk in the rainforest to see Curtis falls.
Lee P — Google review
Did not manage to see the waterfall as it was the dry season during my visit in early Dec 2019. But during our trekking, we saw some interesting trees.
Jeff T — Google review
Definitely must see when in Tamborine national park. Such a beautiful place! You can get really close to the curtis falls and take amazing pictures. We also went for a walk on a trail. Every path is well marked, the directions are clear, so you don't get lost. Beautiful rainforest, lots of birds. There's also a lookout point and a place to have rest. Spend at least an hour or two there just walking through the rainforest.
Katerina G — Google review
It was very wet and rather muddy, but this ~3km nature walk was a breath of fresh air. There is one point in the track that requires you to cross a stream with no bridge (walking across rocks)
