The 33 best shopping and stores in Zadar

A super crazy place to shop. Lots of stores including brand names like Nike. We found a few items on their summer sale but most items were picked over. We took Uber there and our driver told us that it’s usually a 10 minute ride and it took over 25. If you love shopping and have a lot of patience on a rainy day, this is the place to hang out. There are a few cafes and food places to eat at. The parking lot is huge and it’s free but if it’s busy we saw people parking a few blocks away.

Massive nice shopping mall. Clean and pleasant to the eye, with dozens of well-known international brands. Not too crowded. There are two bookstore with English language sections.

A comfortable shopping mall without any clutter. The restaurant section is small.

Nice big mall with a lot of shops and looks clean. Food court and parking lot are good size, but the only drawback is that last year there were solar panels mounted on the roof, but now they’re gone and only the racks are visible.

Supernova shopping mall offers everything to make women’s hearts beat faster. A great way to spend time on rainy days, with plenty of parking available. Small cafés on site provide cozy breaks.

Nice, modern, clean market place to visit. Lot of shops, food court, indoor playground for kids.

The mall is not very big but it has some nice shops in it. First there is a "Spar', if you need to buy groceries. There is also a "Mueller", with a large selection from perfumes to snacks and toys. In "House" you can find clothes at reasonable prices. "Gligoria" is your go-to for a wide selection of cheeses. There is also a gym, a cinema and several cafes, as well as a small market just outside

Free parking for up to two hours if you shop at Spar

This place looks like local market with small stores or offices. It’s not full, there are a lot of closed units, a lot of empty spaces and it looks like abandoned place. Outside you can find couple caffe, playground but caffe next to the playground smells really bad, the furniture are broken and looks cheap and dirty. A lot of people smoke even next to the kid's places, even here, everyone smoke when I visited this place. I need to add my review about this place. I visited it one more time and can say there exists a lot of good places to spend time, but they are located on the other side of the building. Here is a cinema, a Muller shop, some brand stores, cafes with nice and friendly personnel, and people who smoke sitting outside of the cafe.

Small and busy. I am rating 3 because it is not a modern shopping mall but it does not mean it is a bad mall. It is functional for groceries and fresh produce. Just not my cup of tea.

Dark and depressing shopping centre. Bought a coffee at Leggerio which was barely lukewarm, I asked for the drink to be served hot and the server was virtually had a hissy fit. The receipt said "service not included" - absolutely agree.

A somewhat creepy mall. Parts of it feel more like a flea market than a mall and parts feel very modern. It's got an odd mix of mainstream stores and bargain no names stores.

We stumbled upon this bar by accident and were pleasantly surprised. The lounge area offers amazing views perfect for a relaxed drink. The cocktail menu is creative and fun to explore. Service was very hospitable. It does get quite busy, so you might need to wait a bit, but the waiter was upfront about the wait time for drinks, which we appreciated. The Whiskey Sour was excellent on our first visit, and on the second it was easily one of the best I’ve had. The Basil Smash, however, was a bit underwhelming, missing that fresh basil kick, in my opinion. Still, a great spot overall and worth returning to!

Fantastic view, atmosphere and I personally loved the fact they have a cigar menu. It was such a pleasant sunset while smoking a Gran Reserva Desflorado from the Dominican Republic

Sit by the wall and you'll have lovely views watching over the harbour. Great for people watching down below. Great evening and night-time views. We only stopped for drinks. Some good tunes going on and a buzzy vibe. On the downside the toilets were a bit smelly 😬

Very nice place! In May 2025, strawberries were €3-4 for 1/2 kg, and cherries were €6-10 for 1 kg. Parsley, for example, cost only €0.50. You can also buy goat cheese, fish, meat, and flowers. The market operates from 7 in the morning.

The market is divided into two main sections: a fish market with the day’s fresh catch and an open-air fruit and vegetable market with local produce from the surrounding region. The fish market is indoors and impressively clean. You’ll find a wide range of Adriatic fish – from sea bream and sardines to squid, tuna, and even shellfish. Most of it is caught the same morning, and prices are very fair. The vendors are friendly and happy to give tips on how to cook the fish Croatian-style. Outside, the vegetable and fruit stalls are full of seasonal colors and smells – ripe tomatoes, figs, olives, garlic braids, fresh herbs, and homemade products like olive oil, cheeses, and dried fruits. Good and authentic market! Great selection of fish products with high-quality and fresh fish and seafood, good selection of vegetables and fruits. But no meat products and few dairy products... Anyway I highly recommend for visit this market 👌🏻

Fruit is good but be careful with scales and olive oil. It’s diluted and if tourist you will be a target. I found one local and bio certified one. You can also ask to see the recent chemical analysis from the owners. It’s a 10min drive. Check the video.

The museum is a big disappointment as there are repetite glass items and no history or storytelling for the local craftmanship behind. All two floors are absolutely similar and you cannot gain any other perspective on this material locally out of its tomb usage. The cutest thing is the wall drawing between the floors. I'm quite dissapointed!

Recommend calling ahead if you want to go specifically to see the glass blowing workshop, as although their websites and signage state that it on weekdays 9am-2pm, I arrived around midday on a Wednesday only to be told it wasn't on that day and to come back tomorrow and it would be on 9am-2pm. I arrived the next day at 9 but it still wasn't on and there appeared to be noone around. After asking about it they eventually did a 5 min show for me at 9 30. I enjoyed this museum but I think they need to be better with communication around this as it is definitely the highlight of the museum.

We liked the museum. Recommended for visiting. Reasonable price (6 EUR, Summer 2025). As we understand, there are also temporary exhibitions, we were lucky to enjoy Momento Mori exhibition.

Honestly the greatest surprise of the trip, complete gem! Beautiful artifacts, well presented, great building and a brilliant 5 minute demonstration on hand blown glass. This fish bottle pictured is one of only 3 intact in the world. Great value too

The permanent collection of ancient glass is interesting to see. It’s amazing to see the different shapes and techniques used in glassmaking back then. The guest exhibition "Memento Mori" was very interesting, especially learning about Roman burial practices from the 1st to 4th century AD. The museum also has glass making workshops for visitors, but unfortunately there were no workshops when I visited.

Beautiful museum of ancient glass that displays glass from from 1st century to modern day and also at the last four there is a glass worker name named Marko who does live glass work!!

There was only a short wait for a table, but perhaps that's a good sign for such a hot spot:) Everything was amazingly delicious, fresh and tasty. The toppings on the pizzas were generously loaded, the crust was as it should be, thin and crispy. Besides the quiet location of the place, it was the service that made me even more satisfied. Fast, bustling, yet attentive to the guests, kind and polite. I can only list good things, I recommend this place! If you are in Zadar, don't miss this place!

great food, generous portions, fresh ingredients, very friendly staff, our waitress was sweet and took the time to explain some menu items for us, even tho the place was somewhat busy. you can expect to wait for a table anywhere from 5-20 minutes, not bad considering there’s shade and the experience there is worth the wait. both indoor and outdoor seating available.

Long queues most of the time we were trying to get in. We had a large board of cheese, which was good, a pesto and burrata pizza and a mixed salad. Service was quick and friendly and food was tasty. They do take away as well. Wait was worth it

This was the best pizza I've ever eaten. I was very surprised because the pizza wasn't oily at all. Most pizzas are drenched in oil, which I hate. But the (pizza) bread was the BEST bread in the entire world! I don't know how anyone can make such good bread. 5 out of 5 stars!!!

This is a quiet neighborhood eatery. Just off Zadar port near sea organ. Clean, good food with vegetarian pizza options. Not expensive. They offer tap water

Old Romanesque cathedral which sits in the middle of the Old Town. Very impressive on the outside and well-decorated inside. Honestly, unless you are a history buff or want to climb up for a better view of the Old Town, I didn't find this Cathedral any special. Didn't regret stopping by, but would skip next time.

An old Church but well maintained, built centuries back. It has a Bell tower from which you can see the old town from above. The view is spectacular.

As some already stated this “church” operates as a Pharisee business model charging God fearing people entrance fee. Who does that??? The house of God should be free to enter and pray for anyone and everyone who wishes to do so and not converted into a tourist attraction. Looks like the time Jesus himself warned us about is here: “But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.” ‭‭John‬ ‭4‬:‭23‬ ‭NKJV‬ There are far better tourist spots, bypass this one.

I guess the most popular object in Zadar’s old town. Tickets are 4 euros for the tower or 5 euros if you choose tower+the cathedral. I didn’t notice any discounts. Tower is kinda easy to climb, there are many stops where you can sit down. I also enjoyed the cathedral itself. What you should know is that you can’t enter the cathedral if your shoulders are not covered or if your shorts/skirt is shorter than knee lenght. You can light up a candle inside (0,5 euro) if you like. I don’t know about paying with card, we paid cash. At about 13-14 pm the worker goes out for lunch so keep that in mind.

I am not a church goer or lover but this cathedral is well worth a visit. We even attended the 11am mass on Sunday to enjoy the fabulous tenor singer and choir.

Excellent views from the top of the bell tower. Just €4 for an adult ticket. We went on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't busy. Had all the time you want to enjoy the views of the old town and beyond from the top.

I really recommend it, good place to see Zadar from the top, it's the highest place in the city to look around and enjoy the views.

Terrible drinks and service. Literally just got served the wrong drink and told her and she just walked away. Mimosa had crappy orange juice and was completely absent of alcohol. The berry smoothie was gross and absent of taste. The outside view was the only redeeming quality.

Good tasty food when it eventually arrived ( was very slow service). Staff were a bit indifferent, probably in the knowledge that its location facing out over the church grounds ruins and on to the Riva pier is always going to pull a guaranteed trade of tourists.

I asked for a lemonade. When I tasted it, something was off with the taste, like the lemon was rotten. I told the waitress. She brought the drink away, and came back with what I think was the same glass of lemonade. The taste was still off, ice melted, looked like some more water was added. I told the waitress once again, that the taste is off. She insisted that it is freshly made, and doesn't know what the problem was. At the end I didn't get a new glass of lemonade...

Amazing! After having cocktails and beer there the night before we decided to come back and check out their breakfast menu. It was as delicious to the eye as it was to taste. The coffee was great! Both servers we had were super friendly and attentive. Beautiful lively location, definitely a place you’d wanna check out!

Menu looked nice if only they could take our order. Waited 15 minutes for service, and went inside to order at the counter where the man told me that someone will be outside to take our order, we waited a further 10 minutes with no acknowledgment until we decided to give our custom elsewhere. Bad service seems to be a running theme given from the reviews.

Nice, newer shopping center in a convenient location. Parking was not a problem. I went to Zoocity, which is large with a good selection of products. I also used the women's restroom. It was very clean.

very bad service. At the checkout I didn't have time to pack my groceries but the cashier kept piling them on top of each other. After I paid for my purchases but hadn't had time to pack everything yet, I heard the next customer sigh with dissatisfaction. There was just zero mutual respect. I would like to emphasize that both the cashier and the person standing in line behind me were locals.

No self-service cash register and also they don't have a machine to return PET bottles and cans.

Whenever I shop here, there are never more than two cashier lanes open, so the lines get pretty slow. At least they recently added self-checkouts, which makes things a bit easier. It would also be nice if the shopping baskets were washed more often — most of them look quite dirty.

Personel could use some "people skill" training . If you have issues in your life you don't have to unload on customers. Yes, we are tourists but NO we are not your punching bag. And NO you don't have to snitch some change from everyone....STEALING IS ILEGAL

I can’t believe that such a big supermarket sells expired product! I bought this pack of peanut on 15 Feb 2025. It smells rancid when I opened the pack, turns out the expiry date is on 2 January 2025. Yes, it’s partially my fault for not checking the expiry date before buying it. However, isn’t it illegal for supermarket to sell expired products?

Miserable and incompetent staff who turn their back to you when you ask them questions. Exemplified by the man handling bottle returns in the back of the store and a lady named Jelena at the self check out counter. Don't expect smiling faces here.

Huge market, where my ladies get everything whilst I enjoyed a coffee in the bar next to it. So: perfect shopping experience for the whole family!

We spent over 1500 euros to have smoke blown up our backsides. Typical Croatian salesmanship and craftsmanship, which means they promise you 150% and deliver 25%. Our chairs rock and are uneven. Poorly made. They assembled our sofa and couch wrong and put both recliners on the safe sofa. Was €1500 not enough for then to care enough to make our order correctly or with an sense of quality? It's been nearly a year since we ordered.

Terible. Never again. We spend 7000 €, bad delivery, bad comunication, bad montage. We had to pay everything extra. Delivery of expensive kitchen was disaster. They left half of the kitchen in front of the building. We had to pay allmost 500 € extra of what we were promised to get. Be carefull, read the small letters. Very bad experience. Not recomend!

This department does not answer at all on any phone numbers written on the contract issued when you buy a furniture. There is no one to complain to. For sure company is not investing into training their staff to answer phone calls let alone essential customer services skills. Do not expect to tell you sorry when they make a mistake. Avoid this department and company all together if you would like to save your nerves. It is just a company with a backward culture

I bought furniture for 4 apartments in my house (everything except kitchen) with them. Fortunately nothing was damaged. The delivery was late and didn't come as we agreed. I got no apologies from their side. I wonder what would happen if I decided to be late on my rate payment as they were late on delivery. I tried to reach them on the official phone number from their website but failed multiple times. No one answered even once on 30-40 calls that I've made in last couple of months. I then called their office in Zagreb and they actually answered my first call but told me that I need to speak with the store that I bought my stuff from. I was never able to reach them. Do something with your customer support department in Zadar because you are ruining your reputation.

All chips packages were crashed and squeezed. Not a super big market, many a lot things to find easily. There is fresh baking section.

The cashier is rude!!! 13.05.2024 at noon I bought two bottles of water and I tried to speak to her in English but she purposefully spoke in Croatian after I paid for that she throwed charge and the receipt to me. Be careful in this redneck shop

Good variety of food ,the delicatessen counter is apparently award winning, however tripe and tomato sauce is not to everyone's taste. Some communication issues with staff only to be expected. Fruit from the bus station car park stall better than the supermarket and the stall holder is very helpful and speaks good English.

Worst customer service ever 😳 First, I asked for price information and the employee just looked at me and walked away. Second, the deli lady was dumbfounded when I tried to buy all the chicken breasts for a family lunch and almost refused to sell them to me (“would you please pack them up so I can pay and go home?!”). Last but not least, the blonde cashier, after hearing my accent, insisted that she practice her very poor English with me. I told her I prefer speaking Croatian; she just kept speaking in English and acted as if I was no longer there, telling the next person in line “this woman is from America! I have cousins in Chicago!” As if anyone cared - I found this very rude. I hope I will never go there again!!Three strikes - you’re out!!

The variety of products and the prices are OK but gosh, those queues! Seemingly they don't have enough cashiers, so you have to wait at least 10 minutes to pay for the goods. The plus side is the free indoor playground, which can be used by all the kids to keep them (and dads) busy while moms are shopping for food.

Breezer is good but some things is cheaper in Spar.

Smještaj u apartmanu "Mikulić" je bio super! Čist, suh i uredan apartman sa svom instaliranom opremom u kuhinji (osim nape!), čak i jednim single-krevetom, u kupaoni sve novo, tuš-kabina. U spavaćoj sobu bračni krevet, klima-uređaj na daljinski upravljač, moderan "Philips" LCD TV. I nije bilo skupo! Za mene samca, za 7 dana smještaj, od 02.09. do 09.09. 280 €. Jako blizu je glavni autobusni kolodvor Zadar i plaža Kolovare, Konzum i trgovački centri, "Raiffeisen" banka! Za svaku pohvalu! / Apartment "Mikulić" is excellent holiday apartment! It's situated very near to main bus station of city Zadar and very near to beach "Kolovare" in city Zadar! It has all necessary facilities and equipment in apartment, like: showering cabin in bathroom, REAL air-conditioner, with remote controller in living room, as well as enough big "Philips" LCD TV. It's clean, dry and tidy! Near is also Supermarket Centres and Stores, like: "Konzum", branch of "Raiffeisen Bank" - 07.09.2108. they are selling Croatian kunas for euros in currency ratio: 1 € = 7.385 kn, which is excellent ratio for this time of a year in Croatia! You have here also excellent Taxi service! Highly recommended! Cheers!

I had a terrible experience at this club. The bartender short-changed me — I was supposed to receive 7 euros in change but only got 5. When I pointed it out, he refused to give me the remaining amount saying it was a “good offer for the shot of vodka in the drink,” which I never agreed to. He also wouldn’t let me pay by card to make up the difference. The staff were dismissive and completely unhelpful, which ruined the night for me. Definitely not coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone expecting fair or honest service.

Had the most horrible experience. Long story short, ordered multiple bottles all night, had fun, everything ok till we left the club. Exited with a plastic cup, the guard told me "no glass outside", so i left the glass on the security table. My friend who i was partying with got the same "no glass outside", then the bouncer yelled something in croatian, afterwards slapped him in the face, really hard. It was totally uncalled for, we were not drunk, not causing problems. You should AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS - Pourred drinks are VERY BAD, if you get it by the bottle is ok - Bathroom really dirty - Rude staff, should get arested.

My friend was beaten by the security guard, because he was leaving with a bottle of beer in his hand (he didn’t know he couldn’t) my friend put the beer on the table near the exit, and left the place, then the security guard came up to my friend, deducing that he would pick up the bottle on the table, since he was already out of the establishment. My friend got a black eye

Hey Park in Zadar is a convenient spot for quick shopping. The layout is practical, with direct access to each store from the parking lot, making it easy to get in and out. The variety of shops covers most essentials, from groceries to sporting goods. However, it lacks the charm of traditional malls, and the selection, while decent, isn't particularly unique. A good choice if you're in need of necessities without the hassle of a large shopping center.

Looks like another place with stores selling stuff at cheap price. It's sure, shops will close frequently and others will take place. To me, it's not an easy place where people will go often.

I have never seen TEDI market be so tidy like here. Pharmacy offers natural products only, there is no possibility to buy classical drugs.

Had a few good stores that met all of my needs while staying in Diklo. Ideally located near Diklo, but the mall only has one way in or out.

Animal shelter and forest leveled to the ground for these lowest quality stores Like Pepco, TEDI and Eurospin. In any normal culture this center would be cancelled. If it at least had some quality shops or restaurants maybe it would be worth it but this is worthless

Two steaks and mixed meat platter. Waited 40 minutes. That's so so, but the beefsteak meat was starting to turn rotten. Unfortunately my son ate almost all of it before I tried it and realized. After saying it was bad got offered a complimentary drink but still paid full price. So there's my review... 🤷‍♂️ You can decide if it's fair yourself or if the place is worth a visit. Other food was not bad, so it's probably not their fault and if we realized immediately they'd replace it.

Restaurant Tamaris in Zadar was an amazing experience. The food was excellent, fresh, and carefully prepared. The service was at the right level—always polite and professional. The elegant and peaceful atmosphere makes it the perfect place to enjoy a meal. The staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome from the very beginning. Definitely a place I would love to return to!

Tamaris Restaurant has such a warm and welcoming vibe! The team is incredibly friendly and pays attention to every little detail. Fresh, tasty dishes that were beautifully presented. Definitely a place worth visiting! 💫

I was the third time there and this time it was not good. The lamb was a bit chewy and not hot- although the waiter said they took it just minutes ago from the grill. The cutlet for my wife’s steak was not a steak knife „due to renovation“ ?! I think there was something lost in translation but she has not received a steak knife. The fries were nt crispy and the Chevy was on one side without candle (so the lamb got even colder) all in All disappointing when you know they are better. When it s regular quality 5 stars - this time just 3

I was totally satisfied with my visit there. I had a steak with a salad and white wine. Everything was perfect! Thanks to the waiting and the kitchen personell - food was an on spot match! Meat was perfect, salat was chilly and the wine recommendation was very good. Since I was there shortly after noon, I've been served very quickly. Thank you team!

Best Lamb you will ever try, cooked on a spit, crispy skin and meat full of flavour. White risotto also very good.

Solid shopping mall, on a small size, max 10 shops. Access and parking can be tricky, but it's very convenient for location.

Really smelly place, horrible toilets, no air conditioning, I don't understand how it can have so many stars. There's a big Interspar, but that's about it.

Big interspar and that's it. It's a stinky empty space with no other shops. The WC is a tragedy. The AC on the first floor doesn't exist.

A big, cool spot in the centre of Zadar. Leisurely, good cafes with excellent pressed orange, the service being a bit on the slow side. But then, it's the summer after all.

My favourite grocery+ store in the whole area around Zagreb. A wonderful variety of everything. When I want to find something very specific, oftentimes this is the only place that sells it. And if you are looking for non-food items and cannot find them in there, then you have Tedy (cheap small items store) and a stationery store in the same building.

It has a big Interspar store of mixed goods to buy including food and meat and bread all house and cosmetics needs. But there is also a café inside, as well as Tedi, Makro Micro computer shop, shoe shop Planet obuća, raiffeisen bank, and small mobile phone accessories stand.

Fresh fish market.Half of the price tags are on the window, the other half is on the counter next to it, and the prices are not visible.This is for tourists, so they can sell more expensively.But money doesn't just fall from the sky,even for those who have come on vacation. I basically didn't buy goods without price tags. I don't like being cheated.

The selling guy closest to the entrance scammed us so bad. When I decided to buy oysters, he started to talking to others and they started laughing. He charged 15euros for 8 pieces of very bad quality oysters. Way overpriced. I mean, look at the picture of oyster below. 8 of these almost non-edible oysters for 15 euros…. What he did is very disappointing and so unfair to the other honest sellers at the market, he surely made it a horrible day for us.

Good, old school, place where you can buy fruit and vegetables. It is located in the open air market with many stolls. I definitely recommend it.

It's a place to get drinks, the bartender had to call someone on order to mix the drinks cause it seem like he didn't know how to make it. Got a zombie my wife got a mojito they weren't strong, just tasted like juice.

The service was terrible and there was no intention or interest from the waitress to ask what we wanted, instead she was sitting by a table chatting with probably what have must been friends/family. When paying no card payment option was given, nor really the chance to pay by cash, since they didn’t have any change and choins. I warmly do not reccoment this place.

The only ,,coctail bar" in this area.. never again.. the coctails are more expensive like in whole Zadar.. most of them cost 11.97e 🤦‍♀️ and you will get a glass of smtg that doest even look like a coctail, you cant even pay with a card, bartenders dont care about you, toilets are dirty and disgusting...at saturday evening there were like 3 tables taken, everybody has one round and go away, some of the guess left immediately when they check the menu.. horrible.. you better go to Zadar old town when they have half prices.. aperol for 10.64e is ridicilious.

Definitely one of the best places in Zadar to have drinks in the evening! We had some cocktails and they were great, also we had a Shisha which was really yummy (blueberry taste) - most important for me personally: the staff was amazing, can only recommend this place, 10/10!

Bouncers remove you because of walking in the park, which isnt theres, because of walking without shoes. After paying 100's of euros without causing problems. AVOID! Gave them back our drinks which we took one sip from and they gave them to other guests 🤢. After closing times trying to scam you selling beers behind the counter for 10 euros a beer.

I preffered it when it used to be a bar/open air club.. now it's just any other terrace with expensive drinks :( shame.. it used to have real charm that attracted locals & tourist. Bring back the dancefloor!!

They have a wide variety of cheeses. We ended up buying four different ones and some meats to taste. The lady was absolutely charming. She was really kind and cut all the cheese blocks so it would be easier for us to eat it. She even put everything on a plate in a really cute way. Awesome service and great products.

Highly recommended for gourmands who want to try some of the best products from around Croatia. As other's have stated, their aged cheese from Pag is worth trying. I also picked up some 18mo Dalmatian prosciutto, and Slavonian sausage and kulen.

If you want to try out the local drinks (alcohol OR juice/soft drinks) this is the place to go. Maraska factory shop offers you different deinks with half the price compared with the main street tourist shops.

I would rate it 0 if possible. We went there to check some liquor and ask for some advice if possible . The lady in the shop was so rude with unfriendly and ignorant attitude. I genuinely love to idea of supporting local products but not at this place.

Small but lovely shop full of fantastic wine and other products from the Bibich winery. We visited three times during our stay in Zadar, and each time we were met with excellent customer service and honest, informed help. The sales associate that helped us also recommended taking a trip to the winery itself which were happily able to do, and had an amazing time there as well. The wine itself is fantastic, offering a wide range of styles and native grape varieties, and a chance to try some different bottles from an area with such a rich wine history that can be often overlooked in the rest of Europe.

The best customer service! Girls are outstanding, they explain ewerything, find me a wine for ewery ocasion anytime i visit. this im my new favourite wine station, no need to search further! :)

We had a lovely boat trip to Preko. Having been to Croatia before and booking tickets on Jadrolinija website before, this worked very well. I read the previous reviews about the location of the boat and took a wander round the day before to check where we should be. We got the 09:30 ferry and arrived about 09:05 and joined the few people already waiting...by the time we were allowed to board there was a large crowd! They could do with a queueing system for boarding as it was like a free for all as people dashed to get the upstairs outside seats! Great ferry ride though and all on time on the way out and return. Preko was lovely for a walk along, a drink in a cafe and then wander back. We were tight on time but would love to come back and spend longer and take a swim in the clear water!

We were left at the Port because the Ticket loaded too slowly. After a moment the Ticket was loaded but he still didn't want to let us in because he didn't want to look again at our phones, just closed his eyes and shooed us away with his hands like animals.

I agree with the other comments. It can be confusing for people traveling the first time here. So here is the place where the ship departs. To buy the ticket, you need to go to the office nearby (Liburnska obala 7, 23000, Zadar, Croatia) A one way ticket cost us 4€ per person. This was super easy! We purchased tickets online (€4 at time of writing), where you can also find the schedule. There were multiple Jadrolinija ferries at the harbor, ours was already there and clearly labeled with a whiteboard at the entrance of the ferry. We were allowed to board 15 minutes before departure.

There was no official signs however there is a local bus that will take you to the main bus station if you need to a bus to Plitvička. One way ticket is 1.6 euro, cheaper than a uber. It seems to come every 30mins from the hour, i.e. 12pm, 12.30pm. I had to ask a few people to get this information, most people just tell you to get an uber. The actual bus stop is a little further left (if facing the water), then Google indicates. Just look for the bus shelter.

The great thing is that the bus showed up and for 5 euro it got to the airport in 20 minutes. I was going to call a cab but when I got outside the wall the bus was there so I hopped on.

Directly to the airport every hour (except 17:00), for 5 euro (but std. uber/bolt 11-12€, XL 14-16€, taxi 25-30€).

Absolutely great shop with friendly and knowledgeable owners. A must stop for wine, olive oil, liquors, and other products local to Zadar. The owner walked us through many of the products and made some wonderful recommendations based on our taste.

Absolutley wonderful shop in old town Zadar. We loved chatting with the owner and he gave us awesome recommendations on a wide variety of wine, honey, and olive oil. We bought a couple of traditional bottles of wine and olive oil from the region as well as his local honey from his father. The owner suggested a great, well priced, bottle of white wine to drink that day during the sunset. Absolutley the best. Everything in the shop has a story and it is highly recommended.

This husband and wife shop, open just a year, carries a curated group of wines - only those that they love. There is enough to have a good selection, but definitely not too much. Everything should be great, and they are happy to tell you all about it if you're interested. If you want to enjoy your white right away, they have some in a fridge tucked beside the counter. And their a/c will cool you off while shopping on a hot summer day.

Best collection of Croatian wine I have seen during our time abroad here. Owner is a very nice man who is knowledgeable about wine and excited to talk about it. They also carry truffle oil etc. If you are a wine lover this place is for you.

Fantastic shop, Zvonimir gave us great advice on different Croatian wines. He knew everything about every single bottle he has for sale. We took his recommendation on a red wine from Milos, Plavac 2016. He suggested to accompany it with some Croatian sheep cheese which we did and it was delicious.
