We had a date here with my girlfriend, and the place left us with the best impressions. The atmosphere is cozy, with a great waterfront vibe. The service was 100/10. Our waiter, Yosip, was incredibly attentive and friendly: not only did he recommend dishes, but he also explained in detail how to properly eat a langoustine and shared other useful tips. Huge thanks to him for such excellent service! The food was very tasty, and the portions were large. Two dishes are enough for two people to feel full. We ordered three and ended up absolutely stuffed — just as our waiter had warned us, and we were especially grateful for that. We really appreciated the fact that, even without us asking, the dishes were served already divided into portions — each on its own plate. A small detail, but a very pleasant one.

The waiter knew his wines very well, knew exactly which one would suit our dish. Everything was freshly prepared, down to the massive chicken nugget aka a huge breaded chicken fillet which went down a treat with the kids, who were stuffed. Portions are massive unlike any other restaurant we have visited in the last week in Zadar. I've recommended this place to people years ago, and will continue to do so again, you will not be disappointed.

We had an amazing dinner at Restaurant Bruschetta in Zadar. Everything we tried was incredibly tasty! We started with fish soup and bruschetta, followed by their house bread with cheese and olives – such a great combination. For the main course, we had John Dory with ravioli and tuna steak with vegetables, both cooked to perfection. To finish, we enjoyed a soufflé and cheesecake for dessert – the perfect ending to a fantastic meal. As photographers, we also took some great photos, and the food tasted just as good as it looked. Our waiter Josip took excellent care of us throughout the evening – he was kind, attentive, and made us feel really welcome. All the staff were very friendly, and we even had a nice chat at the end of the night. We’d highly recommend Bruschetta to anyone visiting Zadar – it’s a must-try restaurant!

Hands down the best restaurant in Zadar. We come back often and it never disappoints! John dory filet was so soft and juicy. Cold fish plate and all desserts are highly recommended as well! The hostess is lovely and very accommodating, as well as the waiters! Will come again 100%

We were looking for great restaurant in Zadar while on coffee and found out about this place. Staff is amazing, food even better, portions are really big and everything is homegrown which makes the taste even better. Definitely coming again when in Zadar, we need to try rest of the food. The location was truly lovely, with a beautiful view of the marina. The service was excellent – our waiter was extremely attentive and friendly, which really elevated the experience. Unfortunately, the food didn’t quite meet expectations. From the starters, the beef tartare was excellent, but the tuna tataki was rather underwhelming. For the main courses, the fresh truffle garnish was a nice touch visually, but its flavor got lost in the dish. A major disappointment was the “breaded oysters” – I was expecting fresh oysters, but what we received resembled small schnitzels. I would recommend sticking to more classic preparations rather than experimenting too much. Overall, a great spot for the atmosphere and service, but I’d be selective with the food next time.

It was a terrible experience. To begin with, we had to wait a long time. They told us there would be dinner and service until 1 a.m., so we went at 9:30, but the service was bad. The guy at the door didn’t seem welcoming at all—he was busy drinking and wasn’t polite. The waiters weren’t nice either. We ordered ribs, and they brought them on a grill, but the fire went out, so the ribs were raw and awful. We asked if they could light the grill again or cook them in the kitchen, but they said the kitchen was already closed. This happened two weeks ago, and honestly, the whole experience was horrible.The drinks weren’t very big either, and the electric candelabras gave off a terrible smell that triggered my allergies. On top of that, there were lots of people smoking around us, which made it really uncomfortable. And we spent aprox 140 euros for all 😔

The service and ambience was great, sadly the food was below average and it doesnt match price = quality ratio. Would i return? Probably only for a cocktail at the bar as the terrace has a nice vibe, if they didnt have that, there is not much to it!

There are better rated restaurants in Zadar, however they are much larger, much busier, with poorer service and poorer ambience. And their food is just equal plus or minus depending on what you get. Make a reservation to be on the wall, even ask for the corner. You will overlook the water and receive exceptional old style service. The appetizers are interesting and outstanding, we went with seafood for our mains and it was very well done.

A Wonderful Dining Experience in the Old Town 🍷 Great restaurant in the heart of the old town — definitely worth making a reservation! The team was warm and attentive, and they were especially kind and patient with my child, which made the experience even better. The calamari were perfectly grilled, tender and flavorful, and the shrimp risotto was rich and creamy — simply outstanding. The wine list was excellent, offering plenty of options to complement the dishes. If there’s one small note, the main portions could be a bit more generous — everything was delicious, but we were left wishing for just a little more. The desserts, particularly the crème brûlée and the cheesecake, could also use some improvement, as they didn’t quite match the high standard of the rest of the meal. Overall, though, it’s a lovely spot with great food, wonderful service, and genuine hospitality. Highly recommend!

I always think the sign of a good place is when it's full... & the sign of somewhere exceptional is when there is a queue to get in! There was a queue, but it was worth the wait. The food was exceptional. I chose the beef cheeks with homemade gnocchi which was fantastic followed by the chocolate souffle with raspberry coulis & ice cream, which also was a delight to consume & washed down with something different for me, Karlovacko Radler, which was very refreshing especially on a warm evening. If you're in the City for a visit I would seriously recommend this place, but do make a reservation!

Stumbled upon this cool resto whilst on a stroll in Zadar. We sat outside and had dinner. The food was very good and the service was top notch. We got lucky that they managed to get a table outside for us. To be fair we were there early evening. The bruschetta was simply beautiful, the seafood pasta was perfect and the truffle pizza was delicious.

Got a recommendation from a local to eat at Dva(2) Ribara and it was really fantastic. The food, the service and atmosphere were great. Price is very fair for the amount and quality of food you get. The fish platter had a good variety of fish, mussels, squid and prawns. We came on a very quiet night (April) and it is surprising that it wasn’t packed because the food was fantastic. Go there, you won’t be disappointed.

While the presentation of the dishes was visually appealing, the taste did not match the aesthetics. The food was bland and lacked the flavor profiles that one would expect. It felt like the dishes were missing essential seasonings and fresh ingredients. I tried, and despite their attractive appearance, they were ultimately forgettable.

The best service in town! Our waiter Lovre was so attentive and polite. He made sure we had everything perfect for our anniversary date, and as the youngest waiter in restaurant he was first class! He perfectly introduced us the menu and presented us everything to feel sooo sooo welcome. The food he recommended was very delicious and well made. Breathtaking restroom was cherry on top! This restaurant is at a much higher standard for food, service and ambience. The matradine was fabulous and the waiters go out of their way to help you have a really enjoyable evening. We visited twice and on both occasions the food was delicious and tasty.

We were here in slow season so it wasn’t busy but I would book a reservation to be sure. This is a more expensive place I’d say so just be mindful. We payed 100 euros without wine just an fyi!

This is an excellent restaurant. Expect white tablecloths and friendly service. It is on the pricier side of what we spent in our stay in Zadar but not by too much. There is a cozy indoor dining area but if the weather is nice you can enjoy the "outdoor" area that is completely encased with large glass that allows for an excellent view of the harbor and Adriatic Sea. One of the few places you can get scorpion fish in the city that we were able to find which the waiter expertly served to us at tableside. They also have an excellent olive oil from a farm on the island of Ix that still visits me in my dreams. I highly recommend that you try it with fresh homemade bread! I didn't know olive oil could be so good until I tried it at this restaurant. I would return just to eat bread with olive oil alone but I doubt I could resist ordering some classic Croatian dishes along with it. Very nice experience with waiters and owner overall!

I recently dined at a this cozy restaurant in the central part of the city. The ambiance inside was warm and inviting, though I found the outdoor seating a bit uncomfortable due to the high chairs, which didn’t feel ideal for a relaxed dinner. The food, however, was exquisite—delicious and beautifully prepared, showcasing the chef’s expertise. Unfortunately, there was a slightly odd moment that detracted from the experience. After our meal, we wanted to order dessert, so I asked the waiter for the menu. To my surprise, he responded by asking, “Why do you want a menu?” When we explained that we wanted to order dessert, he verbally listed the options instead. While the desserts offered were tempting, I would have preferred to browse the menu myself to make a more informed choice. This exchange felt a bit off-putting and detracted from an otherwise pleasant evening. Overall, while the food was excellent, the service could be improved to ensure a more seamless dining experience.

We sat down for a late dinner. I ordered the surf ‘n’ turf and my girlfriend ordered the fish soup, salmon filet and fries. My dish came with truffle pasta and shrimp and a rump steak. The steak was cooked medium rare however it could have done with some more seasoning. The pasta was adequate. My girlfriend really enjoyed her meal too. This is defiantly the better restaurant out of the ones we have seen. I wouldn’t consider this as much of a tourist trap as the other restaurants in the old town. Our server, Martin, was just amazing. Super kind and friendly. He definitely made the experience much better.

Don’t change what’s good! After being recognized by the waiter from two days earlier, we were welcomed with a nice Prosecco. We enjoyed our monk fish and white and black tuna with a nice white wine. Absolutely lovely place to visit as a tourist. It looks modern, isn’t pretentious, service is lovely, fish is cooked to perfection, great location and brilliant service. The menu was fantastic and I felt as if I could have eat any of the options. The place managed the delicate balance of not being pretentious but still having good standards. We didn't have reservation but the waiter gave us the table right away, we didn't have to wait at all. The ambient is really beautiful and the stuff is proffesional. You can't leave Zadar without eating here! During our visit to Zadar we came across this restaurant. After some hesitation we decided to go in anyway, this turned out to be the best choice during our entire stay! The price/quality ratio is excellent and the food is delicious, best in town. The staff are knowledgeable, professional and very polite. We can't stop talking about this restaurant. That's why we even decided to eat here again the next day. The second night there was an incident with the roof of the conservatory/veranda. The staff could not do anything about this and handled the handling of this incident extremely professionally. I would be nothing but praise and positive about this restaurant and as soon as I'm in the area I will definitely come back here for a delicious meal!

We had the meat and fish platter for 2. It was delicious. Very nice ambiente and helpful kind staff. They speak also German. Menu is in 5 languages. Prices are rather high but you also pay for the location and view. We paid about 50€ p.p. for main course with 2 drinks. We returned for breakfast which was very good and cheap. Interaction with the breakfast guy was very funny. Would come back again. It was very clean also. I liked the "shreded" butter (to make it melt faster so you can smear it on the bread), never seen that before.

Restaurant Groppo is located right in the heart of Zadar’s old town, offering a charming and relaxed atmosphere perfect for a summer evening. The food was tasty, and the service was friendly and attentive throughout. Prices are slightly above the city average, but considering the central location and overall experience, they’re well justified. Great spot for a laid-back dinner in a vibrant setting.

After 10 years, I revisited this restaurant with its beautiful view of Kalelarga and St. Anastasia's Cathedral. I'm happy to report that nothing has changed; the quality remains at an impressive level. We were particularly impressed with our waiter, Darko, whose kindness and professionalism were truly outstanding. Many servers could learn from him how to build rapport with guests and provide excellent service. It's not always enough to simply take an order, and Darko understands that perfectly. As for the food, it was very good. We chose a set menu that included vegetable soup, pašticada, and panna cotta for dessert. The pašticada was excellent, the meat was so tender it fell apart with a fork. The wine selection was also very good. Although the prices might be a bit on the higher side, the overall experience was extremely positive.

Wow! We arrived without a booking and queued with two earlier arrived groups but were quickly seated out the front of the restaurant where the atmosphere was best. We ordered the mixed grill and it blew our hair back - sensational and very affordable selection of meats and chicken - recommend adding a side of pepper gravy and mixed vegetables for a feast that could easily feed four! (We noted most diners leave with a leftovers box) Started with a glass of house white and moved to a gorgeous red, recommended by our dynamic host who gave remarkable Ryan Gosling vibes! Great atmosphere, pulls a crowd and totally made our first night out in the beautiful Diklo area.

Amazing service. We came in October when it was cool outside. Each table seemed happy. The grill keeps things cozy and warm. The shrimp pasta and beef pljukanci are awesome. But the best was their new off menu specialty - Hrvoje's grilled bread. He made it so perfectly on request (I felt bad asking but he was so nice). Another server came by to inspect how perfectly the bread was toasted 😅. It went great with our dinner. Highly recommend this place. Great food and great atmosphere.

Classic Hotel style restaurant. Charming waiter of 30 years experience, impeccable attention by whole staff. Well trained, accomodating, attentive. Delicious food, needless to say, the best Zadar has to offer aside from the trodden paths. Will go again today and am looking forward to it.

Im born in this town and this is by far best restaurant in town! Fish is their specialty but i prefer meat and they never disapoint. Also you get special experience when you enter and see lobsters in aquarium.

I loved this place! The service is impeccable, the environment is very clean and well decorated. The food? Well, it's excellent! We had black spaghetti, carbonara, pizza, and spaghetti Bolognese, and we can only praise the quality of the ingredients, the generous portions, the hygiene, and the taste of the food! I don't usually go back to the same restaurant when I'm traveling, but I had to go back twice because I couldn't stop thinking about the food there. Thank you, Mamma Mia!

I expected a little bit more from the restaurant according to their ratings. The shrimp risotto didn’t resemble a risotto at all. It tasted like a rice cooked in shrimp water with added seasoning. The shrimp on the top wasn’t cleaned and the meal contained only 2 tiny shrimps.

Nevjerojatno ukusan cheesecake 😋. The pasta and caesar salad were okay. We arrived at about 10pm, and many options from the menu weren’t available — like bolognese and most of the desserts. But I would come back just for that cheesecake 🤤.

Amazing location, exuisite interior, nice waiters and great food! What else could you ask for!? I chose them specifically because they had shark on the menu, and it did not disappoint! Homemade bread was a nice touch also. The wine list is big and features some great wines (wines on glass also avaliable). Great experience overall!

Had an amazing dinner here came here for dinner. We Order a huge tomahawk steak for the table which was amazing they bring the steaks right to the table and let you choose which one you’d like them to cook for you. They have many different steaks to choose from depending on the cut also a huge dry aged sections aswell depends on your preference. Nice that they have a vegan option and the Vegan burger was also incredible. Atmosphere is great and right on the harbour Great for indoor or outdoor dining. Service was very good friendly waiter and high end dinning experience. Definitely recommend for a good dining experience.

Stopped at this spot for brunch- they had a nice variety on the menu, the only reason I rated 4/5 was because there was a little blandness on the avocado toast. Overall, the breakfast was good & the new banana bread was delicious! Great views and I was told by a friend that eating here for lunch/dinner was a pleasant experience also.

I had higher expectations from this place. It started with a broken and dirty menu, which I had to request to be changed. Food: Starters were good, but the “anglerfish” carpaccio tasted like monkfish — and I strongly suspect that’s what it was. The pasta (paccheri) arrived cold, though the flavor was good, so I didn’t complain. The “dry-aged” salmon tasted exactly like regular salmon, which it most likely was. Finally, the filet mignon was served already sliced, which is, in my opinion, a poor choice. The presentation overall was lacking, and the sauces did not elevate the dish. I feel the menu should be more transparent and honest about what is being served. Positive notes: The wine was great, and the service was friendly.

Stopped for a quick lunch. It’s rare that I don’t have to season a restaurant dish, but these dishes were perfection! I had the hot appetizer of hand rolled pasta with veal ragout and truffles. Husband had the 4 cheese gnocchi. We couldn’t stop eating! Service was also exceptional. Highly recommend this place!

Fantastic spot overlooking the harbour with great ambience. We went for a rare chateaubriand, with two sauces and sides. Steak comes herb encrusted and was excellent. Stand outs were the cheese sauce and vegetables.

Such a lovely little breakfast spot! It’s always quite busy in the mornings — and for a good reason. I came here a few times during our stay, and every time the food was delicious. I first tried the Eggs Benedict Royal with salmon, and then came back for scrambled eggs with bacon — both were super tasty. The coffee was nice too. Definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for a great breakfast in Zadar!

Coffee and cake is a delicious place to eat. They have a wide variety of items on the menu and generous portions. The coffee was some of the best we had in Zadar. We arrived around 10 AM during the height of breakfast. We were able to find a table within 5 to 10 minutes. Despite being busy, the servers are attentive, and ensure you are well taken care of. We had the sliders. You get three of them. One of them has micro greens and eggs. The other one had avocado, tomatoes, balsamic, and a creamy feta cheese. The third one is peanut butter and jelly with berries on top. It was the perfect portion and offered a balance of sweet and savory. You try their chocolate chip cookie, which was out of this world. The cakes also look amazing. If you’re looking for a unique place to have coffee and breakfast You need to come on by!

This place is just awesome - if you're a cake and pastry lover, you should definitely come here! They have so many different types and varieties of cakes, often changing based on the week or month. The coffee here is top of the line; you can get iced coffee too. The place is new, clean, and very welcoming. Typically no long line-ups, you order at your table.

We stumbled upon this place by chance and didn’t regret it for a second! Ended up coming here for breakfast every single day — the food is absolutely delicious, and the prices are very reasonable. It’s usually quite busy, which speaks for itself, but the service remains fast and efficient. The waiters are like bees — always buzzing around, super friendly and attentive. Highly recommend this spot if you want to start your day with great food and good vibes!

The Benedict royale was my pick. It’s the salmon version. I little heavy but kept me going to whole day. If you sit outside, it’s a great place to watch the world walk by you because it’s right in the center of town. I added a coffee and fresh OJ.

We went at the Coffee and cake for the breakfast. The place is nice and the menu have lots of different options for vegetarian and non vegetarian. Coffee and hot beverages are great and all breakfasts sweet or salty can be choose. The service is fast and efficient.

It's not called Coffee & Cake for a reason!! Found by accident, I don't do coffee, but I certainly do cake! And with a variety to choose from it was a bit of a challenge to decide what to have, but settled for the Oreo cheesecake which was absolutely delightful & an excelelnt hot chocolate, so thick you could stand the spoon up in it! Both hit the spot & didn't disappoint.

The food, location and the atmosphere is amazing. As a vegan the one thing I miss is ordering a lasagna at a restaurant, so I was so happy to see it on the menu - and it definitely didn't disappoint as it was by far the best lasagna I've ever had! We were so excited that we went there two days in a row and all the food was so delicious. It was great to finally have a chance to have a proper fine dining experience as a vegan and see such a variety of people enjoying great food, regardless of their diet.

I ordered the salad, which was fresh, flavorful, and left me feeling nourished; my body genuinely thanked me for it. The rest of the table had the burgers, which were clearly prepared with care and love. My vegan partner especially appreciated that here, a latte comes vegan by default — no need to specify oat milk, since it’s already the standard. Overall, the combination of excellent service, high-quality food, and a beautiful atmosphere makes this restaurant a must-visit. The cheese cake is the best option for dessert after i tried all of the menu 🤣

Amazing place! The atmosphere is very romantic and the service is excellent. They bring you fresh bread to nibble on while you wait, and both the cocktails and the rakia are top-notch. All the food comes from their own farms, so it really tastes homemade. The burger was so good, it felt like it was made with real, quality meat. Definitely a place worth visiting again!

We were mightily impressed to find this Vegan gem in Zadar! The location, atmosphere and superb food - fine dining with normal portions and at reasonable prices! Yes, the "steak" isnt "cheap" BUT there is plenty of choice at lower cost and even then, the Vegan steak experience was well worth it! To round it off, for desert we had the fluffiest cheesecake ever! 🤤👌 Highly recommended! 🌱💚💚💚🌱

Wonderful experience at the Botanist. The food is delicious and well presented. The view from the terasse and the music makes it for a very calm and relaxing dinner. We loved reading through the history of how the restaurant was created. Would recommend it 100% We actually came twice during our stay and loved it both times.

Was recommend this place and can say it did not disappoint! From the relaxed atmosphere, the friendly and attentive staff to the exquisite food and great wine list, we cannot recommend this place more. Great restaurant, I would recommend it. The food was great, the place beautiful, and the atmosphere very pleasant. One note: while we were still eating our appetizer, the waiter already arrived with our firsts and left them on the table, so we felt a bit rushed to finish the appetizer. Our second visit, nothing too much trouble for Darko our server this visit. Food once again was amazing. Our first we had the trio bruschetta and the 'Malo Misto' steak platter for two, we took what we didn't eat home with us, the baked potatoes were delicious along with the meat. Tonight we just had to pay another visit. We again ordered the bruschetta to share, My husband ordered the grilled fish duo, I ordered one of the house specialities 'dalmatian gregada al forno' oh my it was absolutely divine. Followed by Lava cake, don't be put off that it takes 20 minutes to arrive it was well worth the wait!! For the food and drinks we had very reasonable price. Once again thank you to Darko for his wonderful service.

This was the best pizza I've ever eaten. I was very surprised because the pizza wasn't oily at all. Most pizzas are drenched in oil, which I hate. But the (pizza) bread was the BEST bread in the entire world! I don't know how anyone can make such good bread. 5 out of 5 stars!!!

What an absolute delight my dinner was. I was smiling from ear to ear the entire time. The staff were incredible. All were incredibly attentive, and I mean all of them. The food was on point, I had the fish stew, I was leaning towards something else (that would have been a mistake, nothing was left), potatoes and sauteed veggies maybe sauteed I don't know all I know is I ate them all, and a giant scallop or clam (my server called it a jaque). The meal was the highlight of my evening from start to finish.

Then there was the octopus čičvarda—a spectacular, deeply satisfying dish that felt as homely as it was special. The Mol (European hake) was a masterpiece—crispy on the outside, perfectly juicy on the inside, tasting the sea in the purest way. Every bite reminded me just how fresh and thoughtfully prepared everything is here. The wine selection is excellent; the bread and olive oil are just as they should be—top-tier—and the dessert? The perfect cherry on top. It does not get better than this. And the best part? The price is more than reasonable for what you are getting. A must-visit when in Zadar. Bistro Pjat is the kind of place you come back to, not just for the food, but for the feeling it leaves you with.

Worst restaurant in Zadar after more than a dozen good restaurants. Awful service from the waiter. We (2people) were supposed to shared 1klg mussels for starter. Then the bread came and looked like even the pigeons would have not eaten it. Then the mussels came, definitely not 1klg, sauce was like water and oil. The mussels were not cleaned… and overcooked - pictures for proof. We said that we were not happy, the answer was to bring us the bill. Definitely not interested to know why but getting our money. We paid for not eating and definitely not a nice experience.

Went here for lunch as soon as we arrived in Zadar. Food was decent, I enjoyed my meal but my wife wasn’t too impressed with hers (Women right). Service was kindve lousy, servers seemed to just forget about us after we were done eating, I wanted to order dessert and coffee but after waiting for so long I just wanted to get out of there. We had to actually go inside and ask for the bill because no one was coming. Not a bad place but not the best experience

Was so hyped for this place and so sorry to say, but the experience of the food was: "mjeh.." we chose the 5course tasting menu and it did not feel like fine dining or worth it. Dinner was set in a truly unique location on top of the old Riva with a stunning view of the new side. The place was beautifully organized with elegant plating and attentive service. They did serve me before my girlfriend, which felt unusual, but the overall atmosphere remained warm and inviting. The entrées were excellent, full of flavor and well presented, while the main courses were more on the average side. Even so, for Croatia it was a delightful surprise, and the genuine smiles of the staff made the evening memorable. Too bad for overcooked pasta… but the bread was amazing!

It's truly an amazing restaurant in the old town Zadar. Even though it's an authentic Croatian/ Mediterranean cuisine, they made one of the best vegetarian dishes for us. The service, presentation, and details were excellent. Rubin, our waiter helped us select the perfect Croatian wine, and highlighted the wine regions of Croatia.

A really great restaurant. We found it on the Michelin app. We had a super evening on our first night in Zadar. So we booked for the last night of our holiday too. Both meals were excellent. The menu is very interesting. A wide range of prices makes this restaurant affordable for most diners. I enjoyed the fish soup and the tuna tartare starters. The squid ink risotto was excellent. I loved the rooster ravioli. My colleagues enjoyed the tuna, the lamb and the filet steak. The head waiter was previously a cocktail maker. I loved his negroni. The old fashioned, with a Croatian twist was amazing. The Croatian rose sparkling was very good. The sommelier is amazing. He guided us through the excellent wine list. We had a fabulous GRK from Korcela and a fabulous pinot Noir from Northern Croatia. The deserts were stunning too with the cheesecake and the drunken fruit stew amazing. Thank you to all the amazing staff for such a great experience.

Incredible hosts, amazing views of the harbor, and the food was simply outstanding. They were able to accommodate vegetarians when notified ahead of time and made incredibly fresh meals. They recommended an incredible wine pairing for our mains which was one of the best we had the entire time we spent in Croatia. They deserve the Michelin recommendation and would absolutely return.

Very disappointed with the ice cream. I expected one good ice cream but it was too sweet and not home made, industrial ice cream with no real texture only water and sugar. The place is always busy, you have to wait to have a table and your turn to get your ice cream. Prices are ok. Portions are very fair. The taste of the ice cream is authentic and raw without additives.

Absolutely not worth it. We went there because it was very hyped but such a disappointment. Ice creams taste like water with sugar and melt in minutes. Every flavor taste the same - like nothing. Sure place is nice to sit and watch the street but nothing else. No napkins, you need to go and pay inside for desserts that are served. 11eur for strawberry one and 9eur for 4 scoops of random ice creams and some whipped cream. 20 euros spend for nothing. Better choose any other place than this.

Really nice little ice cream place with a range of flavours. Nice little seating area with a good view. Friendly service, they spoke English. The fruity flavours had much stronger flavours than the chocolatey ones.

I know quite a bit about good ice cream and this one is really, really good. Like someone in an earlier review mentioned: The pistachio ice cream is especially delicious. One of the best if not the best I ever had! We came here during our vacation and were so positively surprised that we came back to Zadar another day just to have another ice cream. 😅 Coconut and lemon are also recommended. 🫶🏽 Plus: The girls working there are friendly, scoops are a bit pricey but generous, and you can pay by card.

Bob Rockys Ice Cream in Zadar has really grown – I remember their first shop, and now there are three locations in the city. This was my fourth visit to Zadar but the first since Croatia adopted the euro, and it’s a bit disappointing how much the prices have gone up. A scoop used to cost around €1.20, now it feels almost three times as much. That said, the ice cream is still excellent – rich in flavor, authentic, and it doesn’t melt too quickly. We tried flavors like Kinder Bueno, Kinder, Ferrero, Raffaello, and Oreo – all absolutely delicious. We stayed in Zadar for three nights and ended up coming back every evening for ice cream. Portions can vary a bit depending on the location and who serves you, but it’s still a place worth returning to.

Delicious ice cream. If you are an ice cream addict definitely try to avoid this place 😆 Recommend! Many flavours and ice cream was one of the best I ate so far. Overpriced? Yes. But I imagine keeping up with quality products is not easy either.

This place definitely has the best ice cream in Zadar. The selection is great, and the friendly staff recommended the Rocher flavor, which was a dream! They have another shop in the old town and should expect the same quality and variety.

Local pizzeria where you can buy a slice for around €4 or a whole pie. Very busy on Friday nights due to nearby clubs. Proper pizza with thin, semi-crunchy slices.

We visited her a couple of times, and it didn't disappoint. The chicken pizza with cooked cream is fantastic. A decent sized pizza with amazing roasted chicken.. as we'd arrived late they want sure if the had enough chicken but thankfully they managed it for us. They use fresh pizza dough which we could see them stretching. Second visit we had pepperoni.. highly recommended. Re the prices in Zadar... some places may only charge €2.50 for a slice of pizza, however we discovered that it's poor quality with thick dough and barely any toppings. Stick with these guys

Nice address in the old city of Zadar. No reservation is possible, you wait inside the lobby of one building, it was fast we went around 7:30pm but when we left the queue was super long. The menu offers italien meals with local products and pasta are very good. The waitress is very professional and polite and he took care of all requests during the dinner with the smile. Thank you for this nice meal and time in your restaurant.

I went to dinner with friends and really liked how cozy and calm the place was. It was a bit chilly, but they had blankets to keep us warm, which was much appreciated. The waiter was super friendly, spoke English, and helped us with recommendations for food and drinks, which were pretty tasty. The food was DELICIOUS !!, though the dessert could use a little improvement, but overall everything was good. The prices are fair for what they offer. If you're looking for a relaxed spot with good food in Zadar, this is a great option to go with friends or as a couple. I’m giving 5 stars ( only missing one because the dessert needs a little extra love ).

Best restaurant in Zadar! Salmon (pictured) and sea bream were perfectly cooked. Mussels in light broth were delicious, I nearly drank the broth. Wine recommendations were spot on. The waiter was friendly and helpful and spoke English. Excellent experience overall. We sat outside in a courtyard away from the walkway traffic. We enjoyed a late lunch/early dinner around 4pm.

We came without a reservation and had to wait about 5 minutes until a table was ready. The atmosphere is calm and cozy, located in a courtyard between buildings so there’s no street noise. The food was excellent. I had salmon fillet with lemon cream, caramelized carrots, baby spinach and baked potatoes. The waiter was very kind and friendly (Shout-out to the guy from Požega :)). While we were eating, I noticed a line forming, so if you plan to come be prepared that you might wait more than 15 minutes for a table. We’ll definitely be back next time we visit Zadar.

Went for a meal not knowing how busy it was gonna be, luckily got sat straight away! Saw a few others waiting. Josip our waiter was fantastic, funny and very chatty. He knew his wines really well and we had an amazing local bottle of white. The food was fantastic, the muscles were the star and the whole experience was wonderful I would highly recommend this spot

The food at this restaurant was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere made the whole experience very enjoyable. Our server, Josip, was incredibly kind and attentive, which really added to the positive experience. The only downside was that we had to wait about 45 minutes before being seated, which was a bit longer than expected. Once inside, though, everything from the tasty dishes to the welcoming service made it worth the wait.

Nice interior and nicer service. A place for cakes and desserts, and one cannot expect more than sweets. Place was not so busy on a Sunday, however that might not be the usual case.

Kavana Art is a nice café that makes its own desserts, with a wide selection of cakes. We tried two slices – one Raffaello and one meringue with fruit – both were delicious. Unfortunately, the service was very unfriendly and cold. It felt almost as if serving customers, especially those ordering takeaway, was a burden for the staff. The attitude came across as arrogant and dismissive, and we weren’t the only ones who experienced it.

Super nice staff, very kind and welcoming. Good espresso and excellent cakes. The plum crostada was fantastic with the vanilla ice cream, the pistachio cake was light even though it had a lot of chocolate inside, the paska pita was amazing with a fantastic citrusy ricotta inside!

Not excepcional. Pastry are way too sweet, if you are a sweet lover, i mean if you like cream and sugar go ahead, otherwise it's a no. I didn't really like the tone od the waitress, we ordered the pastries and she said "okay sit down and order thé drink over there", SIT DOWN, my friend watch your manners. Highly recommended for gourmands who want to try some of the best products from around Croatia. As other's have stated, their aged cheese from Pag is worth trying. I also picked up some 18mo Dalmatian prosciutto, and Slavonian sausage and kulen.

Visited today for lunch. Lovely place, nice atmosphere and attentive staff. I ordered grilled squid. Wow! What a portion...squid was cooked perfectly. It came with boiled potatoes and a very popular local chard. I never would have thought to have squid with this side. But the locals know best! Not only was it delicious, but I felt like I'd had a decent healthy meal. Very happy. I'll visit again and highly recommend it. This is not a fast food pizza place. It's a quality restaurant. Yum 😋

Food is great here, the pizzas are huge and really tasty, the menu is very extensive. Really big terrace, always lively and never had to queue.

Quite mediocre restaurant. Food quality was not great. We had pasta bolognese and some pasta with salmon. Those were not to our tasting. But this seemed to be quite popular place. Restaurant was packed. Maybe because of this the service was not very good eather. The waiters had their hands full. Only visited here once.

The pasta was very good, the pizza was good, the chicken salad average…For dessert we had chocolate cake- very good and panckakes- just good, the icecream inside was very good! Absolutely amazing. We wiped everything clean from the plates - the fish soup was rich and the fish cooked to the right texture, the sauce from scampi was well balanced and we had perfectly grilled sea bream. We would return here for sure, for our best seafood meal in Croatia.

Reasonable price at the city and portion of food is fair enough. Tuna salad is good, mussels are TOO SALTY and without much taste, kid menu is available. Environnement is calm & good on general but many wasps around when we ate, at least 3-5 on table which is annoying. Staff uses some spray (not sure if it's pesticides or air freshener) to repel the wasps, sprayed on ground/ under table but still disturbing during eating.

We ate at konoba Skoblar couple of times. Every time we were served with fresh ingredients and delicious, well prepared meals. Waiters are very friendly and will recommend to you just what you’re looking for. We will be back for sure!!

Authentic Dalmatian food. The fish dishes were delicious, specially the risotto al nero di seppia (very traditional of this area). We ordered raw tuna and langoustine and they literally melted in the mouth. Service was excellent, as well as the quiet location. Definitely we will go back again!

We had an incredible fish platter. It was hands down the best grilled fish I’ve had in my life. The service was fantastic and we could have eaten there on repeat.

Everything we tried was delicious, I would recommend the mix fried fish, fish soup, mussels and the black squid ink risotto 😍 Also the portions of these plates were pretty big.

Our first restaurant visited in Croatia based on Google Maps reviews and it was a hit! The friendly service, but most of all the very fresh and tasty dishes and appetizer - immediately put us in the seaside atmosphere of the city and put us in a good mood before further voyages in Zadar. We were celebrating birthday in this little restaurant. Waiter was extra quick and polite. He even offered us vegan options for truffle pasta . Needless to say food was out of this world. Cherry on top was when desserts arrived and the kitchen staff wrote happy birthday on my plate😍atmosphere was soo kind and welcoming in this sweet trattoria. the best place in the old town! Definetly worth a visit!

This trattoria serves an exquisite fish soup — rich and flavorful. The pizza was decent, though nothing particularly special. The service is excellent, and the warm, cozy atmosphere makes the visit especially enjoyable.

We were really pleased to visit this place. The risotto was excellent and the pizza was cooked perfectly. The latte was smooth and creamy, and the local beer recommendation was spot on. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made the evening even more enjoyable. Overall, a great experience and one we’d be happy to repeat.

Stumbled across this place by accident at about 7.30pm and got the last seat outside. The waiter that served us was so lovely and really made our evening. He was attentive just the right amount and even let us try some extra cherry brandy at the end of our meal. Food was delicious and fairly priced, I highly recommend the sea bass! Would recommend :) oh and the bread was incredible (we got ours with the mussels to dip)

Wonderful food, slightly slow service but that was okay because they have a great view! Unfortunately our waiter never brought our dessert that was advertised under "buy meat plate for 2 people - recieve 2 cakes of the day". The on-site black cat is very cute.

We had the best Tuna steak ever ! The atmosphere was great, the staff is super kind, professional and multilingual. They had no problem feeding a small kitten who was playing in the garden. We walked 30min from our stay to get there and was so worth it !

The gentleman who served us was very understanding. Even though we didn’t stay longer to eat our food in this place due to us being in rush, the server stayed professional and met our needs which was at the end to take the meal away. We went there on a sunny Thursday afternoon during the month of July around 2pm and it was very relaxing and empty to get looked after. I got myself a Sea-bass which cost 20 Euros, and the Food was nice, also the outdoor sitting area definitely is a plus inside the business. I would recommend

We had a simple but delicious meal here last night. It wasn’t too busy so we were seated easily. We had grilled squid with potatoes, fried squid (which was excellent) with chips and a tomato salad. Our waiter spoke English and the food arrived promptly.

Absolutely amazing food! We had a meat platter and all three of us ate it. Delicious! Super nice waiter, looked like he likes what he’s doing. Very nice draft beer.

Staying nearby, we tried Lungo Mare our first night and it didn't disappoint. Firstly, the view on the upper terrace gave amazing views of the sea, boats and stunning sunset. Secondly the food was fresh, tasty and very well cooked. We had grilled sea bream, a grilled tuna, chips and a fresh mixed salad. Also to mention the very friendly staff who helped make our evening feel special. Highly recommend. You can take the water taxi from the old town over the bay and walk 10mins or so to the restaurant, if you're not staying nearby.

We visited yesterday evening for dinner. The food was good. could have done with the mister option or fans as seating was outside, and it was too humid with no air. We ordered the veggie burger, chicken mango tango, sweet potato fries, and peach lemonades. We were stuffed up to the brim at the end. The toilet was neat and clean.

High-quality burgers with a twist of originality. If you want something truly unique, try the Cheezus, available in beef or chicken variants. If you prefer something closer to traditional burgers but still with a touch of originality, I recommend the teriyaki burger.

Amazing food! All the burgers that are served here are delicious and huge, the fires are also pretty nice. The service and the staff here are very nice and kind people. We were waiting for 4 burgers and 2 fries for more like 15-20 minuts (very fast). I highly recommend this fast food restaurant!!!

Came here because of the high ratings (and all the other places were either full or didn’t accept card payment). The place looks ok, loud old rnb music, if you like it it’s good, not really the point. The service was very slow and extremely disorganized. 3 waiters for a couple of tables, wasn’t even full capacity and everyone seemed to be running around doing everything but nothing. We waited 15 minutes to place our order, wasn’t in a hurry so who cares. Other tables left by this time (totally understand them) We had a salad and a burger. The meat was good with the flavors all in all but the bun tasted like McDonald’s. Salad was good too but could have been cut in smaller pieces. Considering it was fast food it wasn’t fast, I think it’s expensive too, 70-80 kuna for a burger is too much and with this service I don’t know, choose some place else.

Lovely burger at a more than reasonable rate. Beef burger was pink - moist, juicy and perfectly cooked. I went for the BBQ and bacon - lovely and sweet. Chips and sweet potato fries were lovely. Chicken burger was nice, but chicken was not at the same standard as the beef burger though. Staff super-friendly and set within a lovely backdrop. Would recommend visiting if you're in the area for food.

Chicken burgers were really nice. Also had korean fried chicken, it is a big serving but it is priced accordingly (100 kuna). The waiter we had was very nice and efficient, and seemed to speak English really well. The only negative is the prices, you can find plenty of good burgers for less than 68 kuna in other places.

I ordered the pulled chicken burger ,the flavor was nice, but unfortunately the chicken was cold, which really took away from the experience. On the bright side, the fries were delicious and crispy! With a bit more attention to serving temperature, it could’ve been great.

You will not find better ratio of food for a euro in this area. Not only it is insanely cheap for this neighbourhood but also really good. Burgers were juicy, buns were soft and sauces were good. For this price I expected little meat on loaded fries but I couldn't be more mistaken, they were absolutely loaded. Highly recommend.

Very popular burger place with handmade burgers and pulled-style dishes, which were delicious. The portions and prices are reasonable for this area. The staff were very friendly, but be prepared to wait several minutes — especially in the late afternoon or evening. Still, it’s absolutely worth a visit.

We came here just to get some fast food at 10:30 at night after a few drinks. But the food was super delicious. We were surprised. Try the Falafel loaded fried it’s fantastic.

If you are a burger-fanatic then dont get your hopes up. The only thing they had going for them was ok amount of salt on the fries, and a decent mustard. The meat in the burger was like a shoe's sole. Bread was ok. They got the location. I'd advise anyone willing to walk or take a taxi to try "papica burger house" instead who beat this place in all possible categories but location

Nice atmosphere and very pleasant service. Very nice wine selection. Food was ok but not spectacular. Ingredient combination could use some balancing. Seabass was over over whelmed by grapefruit, fresh fish side was ordinary, and tart had too much going on on the plate. With few modifications could be great.

We have here twice for breakfast, the food is amazing, everything is fresh, the portions are huge. Special thanks to the servers- everyone is friendly, polite and very helpfull. The place itself (the restaurant) is very cosy and stylish. Our only regret is that we didn't visit this place for dinner also.

The restaurant is located inside the hotel. We were seated and the staff was friendly. The design is very relaxed, and furniture is comfy to sit on. We order the orange juice, which is made fresh on the spot, by far one of the best orange juices I had in my lifetime. Then, I ordered toast and egg Benedict. Which was delicious. Came here last night for dinner and we absolutely loved it! Such a beautiful setting, we sat down on the courtyard which was comfortable and felt like a little urban forest with all the trees, plants, and nice mood lighting. Our waiter was really friendly too cracking jokes with us all night and making us smile. We had the beef carpaccio and ravioli with goats cheese to start with some bread, both delicious, the lobster foam sauce that the ravioli came in was sensational! For main we had the fish of the day which was a big fillet of sea bass and the French rack of lamb. Both absolutely delicious and the right size portion for us. To drink we just had a gin and tonic, and a few glasses of the local rose and red wines, all very tasty and went well with our meal. The bill came to €151 so a bit more than some places here but it was a nice treat, we would definitely return and try more from the menu (although I could do with just a bowl of that lobster foam sauce from the ravioli to mop up with their bread!) If you have a few days in Zadar and want a nice dinner this is the place!!

I was a bit skeptical of the good reviews as none of them have food photos and the only 1 star cannot be found on the review list. I came here for the pumpkin oil ice cream. one review said that they had amazing presentation but sorry had to laugh when I saw mine. However it was tasty ice cream after so probably a good place to eat as well. For the ice cream - the oil actually goes really well with them, and although you can’t taste the oil as the ice cream were nut flavored anyway, it leaves a pumpkin aftertaste. Interesting try

Traditionally prepared Dalmatian food which tasted amazingly. Fantastic wine list from all the regions of Croatia. Staff is very polite and friendly, also their fine recommendations are to be considered. Location is smack in the center and the restaurant outdoor and interior design are very hip and modern. Top recommendation to visit while in Zadar!!!

We stopped by for a wine tasting but ended up for having dinner also! First impression was welcoming and warm. Thanks for the staff that was really helpful and friendly. Especially the owner who was introducing the wines and clearly knew his business. Also extra points for organizing the wine tasting in that short notice! The wine tasting in it self is very nice experience with the stories about Croatias wine history. But i can highly recommend for having dinner also. Food was fresh and very tasty. The selection of wines is quite large so i believe there is something to choose for everyone. We are glad that we found this new restaurant, it was a pleasure. Thank you!

La Gavun in Zadar is a great place with great food, great ambiente and a great and friendly owner. I needed minimum 10 minutes to order, because the menu is such great, that I couldn't make a decision that fast. Really nice restaurant and place to be! I wish you all the best and I will come back when I'm in Zadar again.

We stopped in at La Gavun more or less at random and were absolutely delighted. The food, wine, service, and atmosphere were all amazing! So much cozier and more unique than a lot of places we've been to. In particular the cheese desert was like nothing I've ever had before. We're hoping to be back again in our short stay in Zadar.

Terrible drinks and service. Literally just got served the wrong drink and told her and she just walked away. Mimosa had crappy orange juice and was completely absent of alcohol. The berry smoothie was gross and absent of taste. The outside view was the only redeeming quality.

I asked for a lemonade. When I tasted it, something was off with the taste, like the lemon was rotten. I told the waitress. She brought the drink away, and came back with what I think was the same glass of lemonade. The taste was still off, ice melted, looked like some more water was added. I told the waitress once again, that the taste is off. She insisted that it is freshly made, and doesn't know what the problem was. At the end I didn't get a new glass of lemonade...

Amazing! After having cocktails and beer there the night before we decided to come back and check out their breakfast menu. It was as delicious to the eye as it was to taste. The coffee was great! Both servers we had were super friendly and attentive. Beautiful lively location, definitely a place you’d wanna check out!

Menu looked nice if only they could take our order. Waited 15 minutes for service, and went inside to order at the counter where the man told me that someone will be outside to take our order, we waited a further 10 minutes with no acknowledgment until we decided to give our custom elsewhere. Bad service seems to be a running theme given from the reviews.

There was really no reason not to give more stars. However the waiter argued that the local water is not drinkable and forced us into a 30 kuna bottled water. We know that the water is drinkable and he explained that it just rained and you can not drink the water. We have been here for a long time and it did not rain. SCAM on the water. My lunch meal was 55 and the water was 30 do you see a problem?

Very nice staff. Food is delicious. We ate white fish, shells, octopus, squids, gnocchi, pear dessert. Prices are much better than in old city. We were there for 3 days.

The waiters were fairly nice, the price was over the limit if you compare quality and quantity / price. The baked fish was PERFECT. But the fish with Truffle sauce and pasta was disgusting, the fish was not cooked well so it was raw somehow, and the sala SOPSKA SALATA was the worst we tried in Croatia, the tomatoes were old and not fresh , portion is poor, the Olive oil on the table tasted like Engine oil and the overall price is not fair. Finally, the seats are made of wood and very asymmetrical that my back started hurting. Not recommended.

There are not a lot of vegetarian friendly restaurants in Zadar and Croatia in general, this place offers many options of pasta, sauces, and side dishes with generous portions. I ordered the creamy cheese filled home made ravioles and grilled vegetables and it was amazing. My partner ordered a burger, it included a big portion of fries, which both of us enjoyed. The service was good, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was cozy and nice. They were playing Dalmatian music, lovely!

What a find! A little off the beaten track but wow it is worth the visit. Fantastic food, every meal hot, tasty and beautifully presented. Staff were all friendly helpful and spoke excellent English! Beautiful place. We sat outside under olive trees and it was perfect.

My family and I enjoyed a nice meal at Konoba Kamen. Beautiful location in the nature, good quality and traditional dishes, nice music. Our waiter Stefan was very professional and attentive. The risotto Kamen was very good.

I can't describe in words how much we enjoyed eating in here. The food was amazing, huge portions, delicious, great atmosphere and a lovely waiter. Best restaurant we tried in Croatia so far.

We chanced upon this restaurant via TikTok and everything looked delicious, so we decided to make a reservation through a phone call. We were a party of four adults and two children; we arrived on time and were dismayed by the lack of reception. Furthermore, one of the staff asked to show proof of reservation, which to me is an a huge offense. We had to wait for 10 minutes while all the other patrons stared at us. When we were finally seated, we had to wait for quite a while until being served. The service itself was subpar, the obese all atmosphere was dull and a tad depressed. When I asked for music to be played, the request was denied, only for them to blast music through the speakers roughly half an hour later. The courtyard is magnificent, spacious and distinctly Mediterranean. The food was excellent, abundant and possibly the best I’ve had in Croatia. I’m dismayed to say that the whole experience was succinctly ruined by the lack of service.

We had our breakfast here, full of flavour, hot and delicious. We had scrambled eggs and omelettes served with toast. The kind and helpful staff were attentive but not too much. Loads of seating areas and clean toilets

I ordered the grilled octopus from the special menu, expecting something fresh and flavorful, especially since Zadar is right by the sea. Unfortunately, it was a big disappointment. The octopus was rubbery, completely tasteless, without even basic seasoning like salt, pepper, small portion of octopus and no sauce. The side potatoes looks and tasted like they came straight from a supermarket refrigerator. For this, I paid €31, definitely not worth it. I left unsatisfied and would not recommend this dish.

We had an early dinner today and ordered the lamb shank and pork ribs. Both were absolutely excellent. Our waiter was welcoming, helpful and appropriately efficient. The whole dining experience was just wonderful.

This plate of grilled octopus was 35 euros, it was very small, incredibly hard and chewy, and dry - the texture was like they pre grilled it on a dry pan, stored it in a fridge and then microwaved it to serve it.

I visited there during a Sunday stroll. And nothing was to my liking. Firstly, the only odor from this place is the smoke from cigarettes. For nonsmoking people it is unbearable to stand. There is no area without smoke. Secondly, the pop music was simply too loud. I can understand that jt is a bar, but it was difficult to talk. Thirdly, the customer service is just AWFUL!!! When I wanted to order, I approached the lady behind the bar. I asked politely, where I should order, she answered here. Then a waiter came and she told me, to talk to him. When I asked him in English, what is the rum punch, he answered in croatian! The lady behind the bar just smiled and did not translate. Then I started to order and tell her my order, but she was suddenly busy doing something else. I asked her again, if she is taking my order. But she again told me to wait! I just left and did not order anything, as I was ignored and disrespected. Apart from the interesting views it is definitely NOT worth going there.

Friendly staff, €4 for a pint of beer and a view that's stunning. Saw some of the food coming out and looked decent, right next to a play park for the kids and can easily understand why some people can spend an afternoon here.

Great location, there's always a free table and the food is good for a beach bar. The service is a bit slow though, waited to be served for 10+ minutes on multiple occasions.

Nice place to chill after a run. This is a great starting point to run a loop to Sea Organ and back. Then, sit back and order a drink while you look into the deep blue.

The experience was very poorly. The staff is unprofessional and doesn’t take orders. They sit at the bar drinking and smoking. The food is very oily and cheap and about the drinks I can’t give details because the waitress refused to take our order. We waited for 20 mins, went to the bar to order, we ve been told to wait for the waitress and she refused to take the order and that her collegue will come soon. Very terrible place.

A little hidden gem. They have the fastest waiter we ever seen. Igor is so fast that you dont have to wait at all. You can also take a dip in the water and jump from the cliffs. Next to the bar is a little bistro and they serve pizza, fries and sandwiches! Really good and delicious and not expensive at all.

Sea, Forest, Rocks, Cliff and Coastal walk take you in this beautiful place with amazing sea view you will love the place but don’t expect the ´quick service ‘ but if you’re having extra time you can enjoy the beauty and view.

This place is definitely a hidden gem. It's located in the town, not by the sea. But, the foods, the mood, the service are all at the top. We visited there twice when we were in Zadar. Also, the portion of the foods is massive. I truly recommend this restaurant and hope I can visit one day again. + Card payment is available. You need to admit sitting outside in hot sunny environment or inside with underperforming air conditioner😊 but it is worth doing because the service and vibe is great and food makes the whole experience worth it. Fresh fish market.Half of the price tags are on the window, the other half is on the counter next to it, and the prices are not visible.This is for tourists, so they can sell more expensively.But money doesn't just fall from the sky,even for those who have come on vacation. I basically didn't buy goods without price tags. I don't like being cheated.

The selling guy closest to the entrance scammed us so bad. When I decided to buy oysters, he started to talking to others and they started laughing. He charged 15euros for 8 pieces of very bad quality oysters. Way overpriced. I mean, look at the picture of oyster below. 8 of these almost non-edible oysters for 15 euros…. What he did is very disappointing and so unfair to the other honest sellers at the market, he surely made it a horrible day for us.

Good, old school, place where you can buy fruit and vegetables. It is located in the open air market with many stolls. I definitely recommend it.

Amazing selection, but watch out for fraudsters... They are not ashamed to say 70 Euros for 1.5 kg of Orada fish. Left side at the entrance....

Great selection of top quality fish. Get there early for the best selection and ask nice and they will clean or filet them for you for free.

Best and biggest ice cream I’ve had in my life! Wish I had found this place earlier on in my trip so I could’ve tried all the mouthwatering flavors! Highly recommended (bound to make your day sweeter)!

It’s sooooo good, creamy, velvety. Pistachio and dark chocolate ones are my favorite. Big scoop. I craved something similar in other cities in Croatia but no luck, so when I came back to Zadar I went straight to Mammamia first 🤎

We had ice cream twice, because it was delicious and scoops were huge.

I think those are the biggest portions in Zadar dont know if you can mix. The lavender and lime sorbet were little but too sweet even with the lime(for me it’s okay ,I love sweet but not all does ) and the fig was creamy ,refreshing and the opposite for the lavender, not too sweet. Overall,I really recommend to visit the location. Regret that I haven’t tasted the pistachio.

Literally the best ice cream I've ever had. They make their own ice creams and change the flavors every day. I had lemon with lavender and rose and peach tea, it was simply amazing. Would go back to Zadar just to have another one.

We couldn’t find this tucked away metre-length shop, walking past it at least 4 times. They take card, unlike other hole-in-wall outlets. We tried the pistachio, redcurrant and ricotta ice cream and it was gorgeously subtle, creamy and rich. Recommend xxxxx

Scoops were huge, so its more than enough to order just one scoop per person. Price was 2,5€ for one scoop. Flavours Acai and peanutt butter was really good but yuzu and watermelon had bitter aftertaste.
