Coffee shop
Nestled in the heart of Zadar, Coffee & Cake - Kavana CENTAR is a delightful haven for dessert lovers and coffee enthusiasts alike. Since its inception in 2016, this charming café has expanded to two locations, each offering an impressive selection of home-baked cakes, pastries, and desserts that cater to various dietary preferences including gluten-free and vegan options. The inviting industrial-style interior creates a relaxed atmosphere perfect for unwinding with friends or enjoying some quiet time alone.
The best place in town for breakfast and the cake is really delicious! The waiters are super nice and it's a good atmosphere inside the caffe. Definitely recommend. Our trip was 4 days and we came here 3 times!
Lara C — Google review
Such a lovely little breakfast spot! It’s always quite busy in the mornings — and for a good reason. I came here a few times during our stay, and every time the food was delicious. I first tried the Eggs Benedict Royal with salmon, and then came back for scrambled eggs with bacon — both were super tasty. The coffee was nice too. Definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for a great breakfast in Zadar!
Violetta — Google review
Coffee and cake is a delicious place to eat. They have a wide variety of items on the menu and generous portions. The coffee was some of the best we had in Zadar. We arrived around 10 AM during the height of breakfast. We were able to find a table within 5 to 10 minutes. Despite being busy, the servers are attentive, and ensure you are well taken care of. We had the sliders. You get three of them. One of them has micro greens and eggs. The other one had avocado, tomatoes, balsamic, and a creamy feta cheese. The third one is peanut butter and jelly with berries on top. It was the perfect portion and offered a balance of sweet and savory. You try their chocolate chip cookie, which was out of this world. The cakes also look amazing. If you’re looking for a unique place to have coffee and breakfast You need to come on by!

This place is just awesome - if you're a cake and pastry lover, you should definitely come here! They have so many different types and varieties of cakes, often changing based on the week or month. The coffee here is top of the line; you can get iced coffee too. The place is new, clean, and very welcoming. Typically no long line-ups, you order at your table.
Mat B — Google review
We stumbled upon this place by chance and didn’t regret it for a second! Ended up coming here for breakfast every single day — the food is absolutely delicious, and the prices are very reasonable. It’s usually quite busy, which speaks for itself, but the service remains fast and efficient. The waiters are like bees — always buzzing around, super friendly and attentive. Highly recommend this spot if you want to start your day with great food and good vibes!
Arkadii K — Google review
The Benedict royale was my pick. It’s the salmon version. I little heavy but kept me going to whole day. If you sit outside, it’s a great place to watch the world walk by you because it’s right in the center of town. I added a coffee and fresh OJ.
Gina L — Google review
We went at the Coffee and cake for the breakfast. The place is nice and the menu have lots of different options for vegetarian and non vegetarian. Coffee and hot beverages are great and all breakfasts sweet or salty can be choose. The service is fast and efficient.
Rania S — Google review
It's not called Coffee & Cake for a reason!! Found by accident, I don't do coffee, but I certainly do cake! And with a variety to choose from it was a bit of a challenge to decide what to have, but settled for the Oreo cheesecake which was absolutely delightful & an excelelnt hot chocolate, so thick you could stand the spoon up in it! Both hit the spot & didn't disappoint.

Bistro
PET BUNARA Dine & Wine is a charming restaurant located near the Five Wells Square in Zadar, Croatia. The establishment offers a relaxed atmosphere with a terrace adorned with olive trees and an interior featuring exposed stone walls. Specializing in slow food made from natural and organic ingredients, PET BUNARA serves up seasonal menus that highlight juicy meats, fresh seafood, homemade pasta, and a variety of ripe vegetables.
A fantastic restaurant in Zadar that puts a creative twist on traditional dishes — and we loved every bite. We started with a cold soup that was refreshingly delicious, then moved on to stone sea bass and red rice cuttlefish risotto, both of which were bursting with flavor and felt truly special. For dessert, we shared a pistachio lava cake that was absolutely divine. The food was freshly prepared, beautifully presented, and served by a team who were friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Prices were very reasonable for the quality, and we left feeling both full and happy. Highly recommended!
Wenyi S — Google review
We had a 6 PM reservation and arrived around 5:45 and we were able to be seated right away Our server was friendly, attentive, and gave us excellent recommendations. I had a Croatian wine, Rizman’s Tribidrag which was delicious. We had Saar’s Momento for an appetizer. The bread was fresh and hummus was fantastic. For our trace, we had a seasonal dish of stonefish and an item on the regular menu of pork cheek. Everything was cooked perfection and incredibly flavorful. Our Dessert was a highlight of a meal. We had the fake cake. It was a perfect balance of sweetness, and the cake was moist. We also appreciated that the restaurant is sort of off the pain path and feels secluded. It has a romantic ambience. Be sure to book a reservation. Highly recommend you come here!

This is one fine restaurant! It was recommended by a local Croatian. Excellent fresh seafood. I have never tried Sea-bass baked and rolled with shrimps and spinach! It was an absolute delight! The fish pate was excellent also. The staff are very friendly. The restaurant is located in a calmer and relatively quieter part of Old Town. Highly recommended!
Mishal A — Google review
We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary here and it was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with a glass of sparkling Croatian wine, setting the perfect tone for the evening. The food was absolutely amazing – beautifully presented, full of flavour, and clearly made with care. The service was exceptional: attentive without being intrusive, with real attention to detail that made us feel special throughout the night. Every element, from the warm welcome to the final course, was thoughtful and elegant. A perfect place to mark such an important occasion – we can’t recommend it highly enough.
Steph A — Google review
First-class service and excellent quality products. I had my first pasticada here and it was absolutely delicious. The pasta could have been better. I also tried the chocolate cake for dessert – rich, but very good if you’re into chocolate. Prices are fair and in line with the quality. Recommend!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ PET BUNARA Dine & Wine – Zadar 🍷🐟✨ A truly special family meal and reunion – we gathered here to celebrate 13 years of marriage with my wife Božena 💕. The kids had a blast, not only enjoying the food but also running around the 5 Bunara Square and even visiting the little dinosaur museum while waiting for our meal 🦖👧👦. The bread basket with different flavours was already a treat on its own. For starters, I highly recommend the tuna sushi – fresh and delicate – while the kids loved their fish soup. My main was the medium-rare tuna, perfectly cooked and full of flavour – definitely a winner! 🐟🔥 Service was warm and professional, atmosphere charming, and it felt like the perfect place to celebrate such an occasion. After dinner, we took a walk through Zadar, grabbed some ice cream 🍦, and watched the sunset by the magical Sea Organ 🌅🎶. Altogether, a lovely Zadar experience we will never forget. ❤️ #PetBunara #ZadarEats #FamilyCelebration #SeaOrganSunset

Amber wine was delicious! Bread basket was house made and also very good. Local beer was nice and refreshing. I had sea bass crusted with spices snd panko….too much salt, but otherwise good. Wife had prawn pasta which was good. Would certainly come again.

Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Price I recently dined at this restaurant, and unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to expectations. The staff was professional, but a bit stiff, lacking the warmth and friendliness you might hope for in a good dining experience. As for the food, it was underwhelming. I started with the fish soup, and I honestly wouldn’t recommend it. There was barely any fish—just one tiny, almost unnoticeable piece in the whole bowl. It left me questioning what I was actually eating. For my main, I had the orzotto with scampi. The broad beans did add a nice touch of flavor, but overall, the dish was pretty average. There were only a few scampi in the meal, so it felt lacking in both quantity and flavor. And to top it off, the orzotto alone was 25€, which felt like poor value for what was delivered. They did try to accommodate my kid by offering a special dish—turkey steak. However, it was very thin, overcooked, and tough to chew. My kid couldn’t even finish it. The wine list, on the other hand, was impressive. A wide selection of wines to choose from, and the wine we had was actually the highlight of the meal. It was excellent! Overall, I was expecting a lot more in terms of food quality and value, and unfortunately, I didn’t get it.

Bistro
Canzona is a charming and underrated restaurant located in the heart of Varos neighborhood in Old Town Zadar. It has been featured in Lonely Planet, attracting both locals and tourists. The trattoria offers a cozy atmosphere with red and white checkered tablecloths, friendly staff, and an array of delicious dishes. One must-try dish is the lapasticada, a stewed veal served with gnocchi and salad.
Great atmosphere and delicious food. Definitely try the black risotto and the tartufo gnocchi. Portions are big and everything tastes like what it is. Not much salt is added. If you’d like some fresh veggies aside - there’s a seasonal salad - small, cheap and great addition to a meal. We dined here again after the first time and decided to share 4 meals between 5 people. It was still plenty. Wine by the glass is a great option with good price.
Miryana G — Google review
Tasty octopus special of the day, should have been grilled longer. Seafood fry was tasty. Overall it’s one of the better touristy places we tried.
Radek K — Google review
Very cozy restaurant. The food is great, especially the bolognese. And the portions are huge! I would love come back one day
Kinmond R — Google review
Very basic, there’s definitely something to work on. Tortellini tasted like the one you can get at the grocery store, and the sauce would need more flavor. Bruschetta was more likely like a sandwich with a mozzarella and tomatoes on top.
Aleksandra S — Google review
We ordered 4 dinners wiener schitzel, pasta with truffles, chicken rolls and dalmatian beef. Everything was tasteful. I can recommend that place.
Sebastian — Google review
Firstly, the disappointment was they stated on the menu that they served the black pasta so we went in sat down, ordered drink, then we ordered food that is when the waitress told us they don’t have that dish. The service was not professional, perhaps the owner should give some trainings to the waiters. our waitress did not have the knowledge about what the food contains, we asked what kinds of seafood on the pizza and she said she doesn’t know. we asked to remove the mussels but they said they cant cause it mixed together. but how hard it is can be to hand picked that so we accept it. the octopus salad was the whole big meal but it said on the menu salad so we thought it was the starter. however, personally, the salad was very tasteless. maybe some people like and think that is the refreshing taste but not for me. the pizza tastes good somehow salty, but lot of oil on top makes it soaking and greasy. maybe they try to do the Italian style but it was too much. I like the pizza taste overall, if they could reduce the saltiness.

We had our last dinner of holidays there, last Sunday. Very nice restaurant with tables outside on adorable little street. Delicious food and very reasonable prices! Wide selection and huge portions (maybe even a little too big;) ) Special shout out to Lorena who was looking after us. She is the sweetest and nicest server, very professional and always with a smile! Just a wonderful experience overall.
Jas E — Google review
First, the service is quick, efficient and nice. However the food is not incredible. We took the chicken risotto and the octopus salad. And the prosciutto bruschetta as starter. The starter was great and tasty. However we expected more cream or cheese in the risotto and we also regret that the octopus was not that tasty. As a dessert we took the chocolate cake which was amazing :-)

Corte Restaurant is a charming dining spot located in a historic building near the Sea organs in Zadar. The restaurant offers an elegant interior, attentive service, and a memorable dining experience. Their menu showcases a fusion of traditional Croatian and international flavors. Guests can enjoy an amazing breakfast spread with both buffet and special menu options, including fancy and tasty breakfast drink choices. The courtyard setting provides a comfortable urban forest ambiance with trees, plants, and mood lighting.
A wonderful experience! The restaurant has a great atmosphere, a very cozy ambiance, and friendly staff who are always ready to help. The food was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented – you can really tell they pay attention to quality. The prices are very reasonable for what you get. I highly recommend it and will definitely be coming back!

Nice atmosphere and very pleasant service. Very nice wine selection. Food was ok but not spectacular. Ingredient combination could use some balancing. Seabass was over over whelmed by grapefruit, fresh fish side was ordinary, and tart had too much going on on the plate. With few modifications could be great.
Goran O — Google review
We have here twice for breakfast, the food is amazing, everything is fresh, the portions are huge. Special thanks to the servers- everyone is friendly, polite and very helpfull. The place itself (the restaurant) is very cosy and stylish. Our only regret is that we didn't visit this place for dinner also.

High level of hospitality in the heart of Zadar downtown. We had a very nice and delicious breakfast Poached eggs, waitress were very kind and professional. Highly recommending this restaurant.
Pece N — Google review
The restaurant is located inside the hotel. We were seated and the staff was friendly. The design is very relaxed, and furniture is comfy to sit on. We order the orange juice, which is made fresh on the spot, by far one of the best orange juices I had in my lifetime. Then, I ordered toast and egg Benedict. Which was delicious. Great place for brunch
David V — Google review
Came here last night for dinner and we absolutely loved it! Such a beautiful setting, we sat down on the courtyard which was comfortable and felt like a little urban forest with all the trees, plants, and nice mood lighting. Our waiter was really friendly too cracking jokes with us all night and making us smile. We had the beef carpaccio and ravioli with goats cheese to start with some bread, both delicious, the lobster foam sauce that the ravioli came in was sensational! For main we had the fish of the day which was a big fillet of sea bass and the French rack of lamb. Both absolutely delicious and the right size portion for us. To drink we just had a gin and tonic, and a few glasses of the local rose and red wines, all very tasty and went well with our meal. The bill came to €151 so a bit more than some places here but it was a nice treat, we would definitely return and try more from the menu (although I could do with just a bowl of that lobster foam sauce from the ravioli to mop up with their bread!) If you have a few days in Zadar and want a nice dinner this is the place!!
Chas A — Google review
Really cool, intimate courtyard setting which makes you feel that you are out of the city. Great brunch - fragola al mare. Wine was of good quality snd paired well with the food.

Recommending this place 100%! The food was sooo delicious and fresh. We loved the combination of different flavors in one bite. The staff was very attentive - couldn’t ask for more. Finally, the ambience was very elegant, chique but cozy at the same time. Will definitely be back here!

The Cogito Coffee Shop / Zadar is a well-known and popular cafe in Zadar, specialized in top-quality coffee and teas. They have several locations throughout Croatia, as well as Rovinj and Dubrovnik. The cafe is brightly colored, with a comfortable atmosphere and serves up some delicious dishes too! If you're looking for some of the best coffee in Croatia, this is the place to go!
Cool spot for coffe if you're looking for decent coffee in Zadar. Good coffee, they have tables to sit outside and enjoy some slower time. We had cappuccino and flat white

Brilliant Coffee...huge range of choices from cold brew to cappuccino. Choice of coffee blends aswell. Nice slightly quieter part of town, great for a chilled bit of people watching.

Good espresso but I'd expect more from the soexialty coffee place. Crema was nice, taste above average. Bathroom was pretty dirty and stuff smoking just next to me but this is Croatian approach I guess.

Lovely cortado, cold brew needs a bit of work but it was refreshing and tasty enough, really lovely staff that are super helpful and approachable. A really nice LGBT-friendly coffee bar in the center, highly recommend!

This is the coffee I have been looking for during my stay in Zadar. In my many years visiting Croatia, Very few cafes know how to make a proper latte but at D16 they make the best in town. We dined in with some friends and spent about an hour here ordering two rounds of drinks for dine in. Service could have been warmer and friendlier but the coffee quality and taste made up for it. I definitely would recommend stopping here. I plan on coming back as I wrap up my trip here.

Best coffee in Zadar Old Town! Located on one of the main pedestrian streets in the old town, it’s a great spot to sit and watch the world go by and sip coffee. They do an excellent iced latte as well as hot latte / flat white. Only outdoor seating, and there’s good free WiFi. (Zadar free WiFi)

Cafe
Nestled in the shadow of St. Donatus Church, Caffe Bar Forum offers a prime location on Zadar's main promenade, Kalelarga. With ample outdoor seating and a terrace overlooking the ancient Roman forum, this cafe provides an ideal setting for indulging in the local tradition of spica - dressing up on Saturday mornings to enjoy coffee and cigarettes. Visitors can savor their drinks amidst historic surroundings while locals often start their day here with breakfast and pastries from nearby bakeries.
Absolutely wonderful experience! We stopped by for some ice cream and were warmly welcomed by Isabella and Rahela, who were incredibly kind, friendly, and approachable. They truly made our visit special and definitely deserve even bigger tips! We ordered two ice cream sundaes — they were delicious and beautifully decorated. All in all, a lovely spot with great service and amazing staff. Highly recommended!
Niko Z — Google review
We have ordered ice creams, chocolate cake and coffee iced latte. Coffee was totally submerged in Iced. You can’t even test coffee. Additionally, The waiter was quite unfriendly and seemed to be in a rush the entire time. While we were still eating and drinking, he repeatedly tried to clear our plates too quickly, as if he was trying to rush us to finish and leave early. Also they do not accept card only cash. Totally do not recommend this cafe.
Ashutosh P — Google review
The coffee place has a lovely terrace extension into the archeological part of Zadar. The prices of coffee are expensive, the service not so great. Toilets were clean
Ljubica B — Google review
Would not recommed this place. The lertuce and avocado (cone with omlette) were clearly old and inedible withterrible taste. Overall foof was below average in quality. On top of that the staff were rude and acted like they didn't want to be there. Better to avoid.
Miha K — Google review
We ordered only food, 2 portions of egg benedict. It took a long time to be served. The waiter even apologized but it was not too crowded or anything. The eggs were uncooked and the portions were fairly small, you’ll walk out hugry, ehilte price was not small, 10 euro per portion. If they were at least cooked I would not rate it one star but overall I would not recommend, there are amazing restaurants around that you can visit
Vlad O — Google review
I rarely go to places to have just a coffee or a just a drink, but on that day that I have visited this bar, it was boiling hot. I stopped there with my family for a cool drink and coffee. We sat down under the umbrellas to get away from the sun and was almost imidiately asked what we would like. That sounds good so far, right? Well, the server talked to us like he does not want to be there or he does not want us to be there. He was annoyed and bored, not a single smile on his face. And if that wasn't enough language barrier is still a thing in one of the most visited holiday destination in Croatia. It was hard at first to make ourselves clear but after a second round the guy told us straght: " I don't speak English.". But in the end we got everything. Maybe a smile and a little more knowledge in English could've been better. The lemonade was good for a water with lemon. I think that if a little sugar was added, it would be a really good lemonade. The water given with the coffee was definitely tap water. Croatia is the home of Jana so maybe that would have fitted better.
Nemes I — Google review
Tourist trap. It doesn't say from the beggining that it does not accept card and there is no visible sign. The waiter was rude, it tried to trick us when giving the change. The food is from Lidl and selled as homemade. The coffe is also mediocre. Avoid this place!
Atreus — Google review
I had a lovely experience at Forum! The ice cream was full of flavour. Definitely a perfect treat on a warm day. I also tried the chocolate cake, which was rich, moist, and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was welcoming, and everything I tasted was clearly made with care. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

Great food and music. I had a great time at Lovre Caffe Bar. You can easily access other parts of the city’s center from here. The pastries are really delicious too. Highly recommend you check them out.

The worst cocktail ever. Literally they bring cocktail without alcohol only water with lime. Both waiters are rude they started to laugh and brought drinks like they don’t want to see us here. The location is good but not possible to go again! The worst place in Zadar!
Batuhan K — Google review
The aperol Spritz is literally just pure water. When we told the waiter he just said its because of the ice, while being fully aware that the drink already tasted like nothing on the first sip right after it got served. The view is nice but having some decent drinks is really not hard especially for that price.
Carli — Google review
Grumpy service, at best. Asked at the bar to pay, the guy didn't know where we were seated, had no clue at all. And no intention to help in making it succeed. What a farce. Now I get the low rating. Had a drink. Waiter didn't care much. The code for the WC is on the receipt by the way. And why do people use their speaker on the phone to talk to another? Is that normal in Croatia? Stop doing that.

First of all, it's a shame that no one comes to serve you with the excuse that it's raining and we have to go to the bar ourselves, order and bring it to the table. Ithink that the service is included in the price. Right? Second, the cups from the previous guests (circled in red) were standing on the table all the time. I don't know, maybe I should have taken them to the bar and cleaned the table myself. Shame on you!

Like others, wished I’d looked at the reviews first! Poor cocktails and grumpy service

Horrible service. We ended up leaving. Will not recommend.

Bakery
Mlinar is a popular bakery located in the Old Town, offering a variety of delicious pastries and snacks. Visitors can enjoy freshly baked croissants, breads, and cakes, making it an ideal spot for a quick snack or breakfast. The bakery is known for its tasty burek with cheese, apple strudel, and focaccia. Additionally, they serve Cockta, a Slovenian drink made from dog rose hip and 11 herbs along with lemon and orange.
The pizza and Mexican-style long sandwich were very tasty. A plus was that they were served warm, even hot. The prices are reasonable, and the service is good. The location is excellent, right in the old town.”

The best cherry pastry I've ever had in my life.
Iga G — Google review
Stale pizza and very average creamcheese roll. The bread was super hard and the cheese had a foul taste. Total mood spoiler and not worth it
Niranjana S — Google review
If you wanna grab a quick snack then this is the best . You can get croissants, bread and cakes as well. When I was in Zadar this was my go to place to get croissants and breads. I would recommend to go early in the morning to get a fresh bite of croissants . And during peak hours they make fresh bread and croissants as well .
Ravikiran M — Google review
An average bakery that specializes in Croatian breads and pastries. Its main draw is the location, that being in the middle of Old Town along the main "Siroka" street. Prices are ok, considering the location but it is closed on Sundays. I enjoyed their Spinach and cheese burek as well as the meat burek. Be careful though, due to its high profile location the bakery will run out of their more popular items, like meat burek.

Poorly trained staff and a food hygiene incident waiting to happen. Be better. Sunday afternoon. I popped in here as I thought I'd found an actual vegetarian sandwich. The Mexican wrap in the cabinet.... The lady advised it was vegetarian. Immediately on purchase I found not only does it contain chicken, but was also kept at ambient temperature and had been all day! Alongside the tuna ones! ☣️ When I tried to explain the risk of this, and why it meant I was not going to eat this the staff were confused and also unable to refund me seconds after I'd purchased it because 'I paid on card!'. That's entirely rubbish as there's no way a POS till system would only allow cash refunds! I tried to explain that contactless still supports refunds and asked for a different item as a replacement but the staff member felt fearful of being empowered enough to do that! Ridiculous that staff cannot have the autonomy to replace unsafe or sub quality products for customers due to lack of training and apparently lack of basic safety in food handling. Selling these meat wraps at warmer than room temperature is a public health risk and they need reporting up the local authority. And the staff need to be trained in using the till system. Avoid this place. Advice to management; train your staff, allow them to correct customer complaints and ensure they understand safe food practices followed. Not good at all. Be better.
Martin — Google review
I’ve never been treated this way in any place around the world. The seller a woman arround 45 with blue eyes who didn’t want to give me her name, was super rude and impolite by answering with 0 consideration and a lot of hate. When I asked for a glass of water she simply said no, and when i confronted her she started saying that this the policy of Mlinar etc anyways she was super rude and 0 consideration. Even in big palace in Paris if you ask for a glass of water they would give you that. Worst place in the world !

The beef borek was crunchy and warm, but the meat inside was too chewy, overall not a great choice. Pick another bakery to try borek.

Coffee shop
Located on the charming Trg Svete Stosije, Caffe Bar Lloyd is a popular spot among locals for its affordable prices and prime location across from the 12th-century Katedrala sv. Stosije. Despite its touristy name, this authentic bar offers a relaxed atmosphere and is adjacent to an ice cream parlour called Donat. It's a great place to enjoy a drink while taking in the surroundings, but be mindful of your change if paying with cash.
A good place to stop and have a cool drink in Zadar.
Olena Y — Google review
My piece of advice – skip the other cafés in the middle of the main square/plaza and come to Caffe Bar Lloyd! It’s less crowded, more quiet/peaceful, and service is MUCH better. This café offers a variety of hot and cold coffees – on a warm day we opted for iced lattes, and we were quite impressed. A big shoutout to the server we had – she worked extremely hard to serve many tables, and she stayed calm, attentive, and enthusiastic. We noticed many locals also stopped here before and after going to the church next door.
Tiff C — Google review
❌ Rude and selective treatment of guests We came to this bar at 11:23 PM, and the sign on the door clearly stated they’re open until midnight. As soon as we sat down, the staff told us they were “closing in 10 minutes” and refused to serve us. We went to a bar next door — and from there, we could clearly see that this place remained open and continued serving other guests well past 11:30. It felt like a deliberate refusal to serve us. Maybe it was because we had a child with us — if that’s the case, it’s blatant discrimination, and completely unacceptable. We ended up spending €50 at the place next door — clearly, some businesses still value their customers. But apparently, this one doesn’t need either clients or their money. Extremely disappointing experience. Would not recommend.
Katarina A — Google review
The square where the café is located is nice and chill but the service is kind of slow. The card machine seems to be “broken”, so bring cash.
Nikos N — Google review
Slow and rude service, coffee bar not serving hot drinks, seemingly can’t be bothered. Waited 15 minutes for service, went to bar to see if I can order there, “we will come you” waited another 5 minutes, asked for first drink and got a sharp ‘no’ wanted one hot drink and 5 cold drinks but rude staff meant didn’t bother. Only bar in the square with lots of tables available, we can see why.
Nicola H — Google review
Service felt like they wanted you gone as soon as possible. 9 euro’s for a aperol spritz which had more ice than aperol.
Callan C — Google review
This place is cash-only, yet there is not a single sign anywhere that tells customers this. Not one. Not at the tables on the terrace, not inside. Like.. do you expect us to be able to read minds? Also, our Aperol Spritz tasted like it was made with the cheapest possible ingredients, and poorly balanced. I'd stay away if I were you. There are much better places to have a drink in Zadar.
Jasper R — Google review
The iced coffee was very bad, warm and weak. It doesn't taste like a coffee. We didn't get any water for coffee, not even for espresso!

If you're exploring the culinary delights of Croatia, a visit to Gligora Cheese & Deli is an absolute must. Nestled in Kolan on the picturesque island of Pag, this award-winning dairy specializes in Paski sir, or Pag cheese, which is a cherished local delicacy. Beyond their renowned cheeses, you can also find an array of other regional treats like wine, prosciutto, and olive oil available for purchase.
Assistant was very welcoming and helpful, we came away with two delightful cheeses and some prosciutto. Prices were very reasonable. Thoroughly recommend a visit. It is also right by the town market for excellent salads.

Very nice staff, good products although the prices are kind of high.

They have a wide variety of cheeses. We ended up buying four different ones and some meats to taste. The lady was absolutely charming. She was really kind and cut all the cheese blocks so it would be easier for us to eat it. She even put everything on a plate in a really cute way. Awesome service and great products.

Highly recommended for gourmands who want to try some of the best products from around Croatia. As other's have stated, their aged cheese from Pag is worth trying. I also picked up some 18mo Dalmatian prosciutto, and Slavonian sausage and kulen.

Nestled in the heart of Zadar's Old Town, just a stone's throw from the iconic Church of Saint Donatus, Bobis Pekarnica is a delightful little bakery that promises to satisfy your pastry cravings. This charming spot may be small, but it offers an enticing selection of both savory and sweet treats. Indulge in their freshly baked chocolate croissants, which are warm and oozing with rich chocolate goodness—truly a must-try!
Various and reasonably priced choices. The staff is friendly and pastries are delicious.

Pretty rude, miserable. Had three mediocre bakery items, ordered three coffees, never got the coffee. Went to bakery across the road, much nicer good service and coffee. Go there in future....
Thomas — Google review
I was hungry I decided to try this bakery…. It was not that great, prices are average, service was just ok.
Ljubica B — Google review
Disappointment. After 3times visiting this concrete bakery I have to write this review . Because we decided to avoid this bakery for the whole vacation time for many reasons. Unwillingness, annoyance, no greeting. I have a child allergic to milk, thus I asked for dairy-free pastry, the older lady was instantly annoyed, angry, she didn't help at all, lowered her head with no answer. The other time we wanted to choose some pastry, she clearly showed us we were bothering her, didn't greet us, therefore sold nothing. She doesn't answer your questions, and is always annoyed. She is NOT a saleslady, change her, please. She ruins the sales, unfortunately. Speaking of pastry, it's good.
Ivana M — Google review
Not a lot of pastry to choose, mostly it's salty stuff like sandwiches, pizza, burak, and some sweet pastry like donuts and croissants with chocolate filling. Pizza tastes nice and fresh, and burak was hot and tasty. And a nice woman works there.
Tara D — Google review
They sell great bureks and croissants. It's also close to the beach. The lady spoke also English.
Andras T — Google review
