Shopping mall
Located in Puerto Rico de Gran Canaria, the Mogan Mall is one of the largest shopping destinations on the island. With over 70 fashionable and accessories shops, as well as 15 casual eateries from around the world, it's a perfect spot to spend a day out shopping.
Everything you could need is here in one place. This mall has a great set up, it is clean, has very nice bathrooms and many shops and restaurants. The atmosphere is also always so nice and chill here. I love it, even the whole design of it all.
Flóra M — Google review
A few stores located under the shade to escape the heat. You will find everything you might need from clothes, to shoes, toys and perfumes. There is a good variety of shops to spend the day here after or before your swim with some food shops at the end as well. The place is modern and kept clean which was nice. We missed the fountain show which would have been nice to see.
Monica I — Google review
A really well kept, contemporary, shopping mall. It's a really unique design and has a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants. The fountain has a great light show on Friday and Saturday nights. And there is a fun splash zone for the little ones in selected days.
Michael H — Google review
The most beautiful mall on the island by far. Very beautiful architecture and views. Plenty of options for shopping and restaurants. Has a beautiful view of the mountains and the air is cooled to reduce the temperature. Overall I definitely recommend tourists to visit this place. The other malls on the island are not worthy of visiting.
Saeed M — Google review
The mall provides a free bus service to and from the shops. I got on at playa del ingles and 45mins later I was there. Plenty of great shops to browse, even a fountain and lights display every Friday and Saturday at 9pm. The beach and harbour are less than 30min walk from the mall, and the Angry Birds kids play area is great fun, so a great day out all round. Last free bus leaves at 5.30pm.
Paul S — Google review
Very nice open shopping mall. It’s very modern and clean. There is a free bus driving to and from Mogan Mall, however there are not a lot of different departure/arrival times so we decided on taking a regular bus to Puerto Rico and walk 15 minutes from there. The mall has two stories and besides shops there are also a few (casual) restaurants and a supermarket nearby. It’s not a full day activity but still nice for two hours of relaxed shopping.
Cynthia — Google review
Puts 99% of all UK shopping malls to shame. Clean, organised, spacious. Visually appealing at every angle. Excellent variety of shops to suit everyone. Just an overall lovely place to spend a few hours of your day.

Wonderful new mall with good selection of shops and services. Very clean and easy on the eye with open spaces and a large food court.

The beach is an idyllic spot for relaxation and leisurely days by the water. Visitors can enjoy the Friday market with stalls selling everything from fresh fruit and clothes to jewelry and art.
Beautiful little port town. Large bustling beach. Colourful houses and trees with stunning greenery and waterways. Loads of places to eat and drink. Lots of shops and a busy market on Fridays.

If you're travelling in Gran Canaria and your lookong for a nice day trip out, or holiday location, this is a hidden gem, so much to see and do. Whether it's walks and exploring, dining out, street markets or just bathing on a beach. This is somewhere to consider. Very clean and tidy, and well laid out.
Rob D — Google review
Fabulous resort with small sheltered beach and a marina. Numerous bars and cafes clustered around the harbour and in the town. There is a very large street market on Friday, when it gets very busy. Good bus service to Playa del Cura and Peurto Rico and beyond from the bus station which is a short walk from the harbour. Plenty of shops in the town centre, and in a new looking shopping plaza on the far side of the bus station. Tge resort has a more traditional look and feel compared to others on the island, with mostly more traditional archtecture. Many streets around the harbour gave lovely climbing flowers covering the buildings. Well worth a visit.

Little Venice is absolutely beautiful. Stunnning little side streets teeming with beautiful flowers & Excellent food whilst looking at the boats in the harbour. Nice little sandy beach(cove) which is perfect for a safe swim.10/10

🏖️ Playa de Mogán (“Little Venice”) ✅ Charming fishing village with canals, colorful houses, and a marina. ✅ The beach is golden sand, calm, and family-friendly. ✅ Plenty of seafood restaurants, cafés, and local shops. ✅ Ideal if you like a mix of beach + culture + strolling through picturesque streets. ⚠️ Can get busy during the day, especially with tourists from cruise ships.

November 19th temperature was 23 shows but anyway you can swim in water. Very nice beach with beers. 2,50 € in all upside bars. There is no changing room. In public toilet you need to change it (womens). I didnt find shower at least. I see some tap for feet but not for body. 🤣 Please visit this beautiful city.

Puerto de Mogán, located in the municipality of Mogán, is a picturesque fishing village that offers a charming blend of tradition and natural beauty. The old white fisherman houses adorned with bougainvillea and colorful shutters create a captivating scene. Visitors can stroll along the quayside, observe fishermen repairing their nets, or simply relax on a seaside terrace to take in the serene atmosphere.
Puerto de Mogan is such a beautiful and peaceful place. I loved walking around the marina, especially with all the colorful houses covered in flowers. The white walls with bright blue, yellow, and green accents make the whole port look like a postcard. Every street feels charming and full of life. The beach is calm and clean, perfect for relaxing. It’s a great place to enjoy good food, lovely views, and a quiet day by the sea. I would definitely go back!

A stunning little town with a beautiful port. Absolutely worth a visit. Everywhere is scenic. There are loads of tourists everywhere but they concentrate around the beach so the rest of the town is generally not too busy.
Harvey M — Google review
A stunning location with beautiful traditional buildings with gorgeous flowers everywhere. There are many waterways heading inland so plenty of small bridges making it the Venice of the Canaries. It also has lovely restaurants and shops and a large market on Fridays.

Lovely place, although restrictive if you stay here without car hire. We visited her twice with the car for breakfast and a walk about. Very very nice and clean, lots of available parking, restaurants and bars. We didn’t go on the beach but it was busy and lots of sunbeds.

Shopping
Nestled in the vibrant heart of Puerto Rico, the Shopping Center Puerto Rico is a must-visit destination for anyone looking to indulge in a delightful shopping experience. This outdoor plaza boasts an impressive array of restaurants and bars, alongside a supermarket and various stores specializing in clothing, shoes, and swimwear. Whether you're on the hunt for trendy boutiques or unique souvenirs to commemorate your trip, this shopping center has it all.
Very lively area with plenty choice of bars, restaurants & holiday shops which are easily accessible with ramps and lifts. Restaurants (Steakhouses, Italians, Indians & Chinese) looked like they started closing up about 11pm. Bars were open late. (Karaoke bars, sports bars, cocktail bars, plenty variety) We normally left the area around 2am & plenty bars still open. This area also includes a night club (didn’t go here) Definitely a go Lots of great food and drink places to explore. All sell similar food and all vying for your business. Most of the restaurants accept your yes or no as the case may be. We ate at el pescador most nights which on the upper floor. Food lovely, staff great and good prices. Would definitely recommend. Great atmosphere from the pubs and great cocktails
Keith D — Google review
Visiting the area whilst on holiday and decided to walk down to the market and mall. The market is exactly what you'd expect on holiday and the mall was a nice modern shopping experience. Both open around 10am. Walked back via the beach and stopped at a beach cafe for a coffee. Totally pleasant and a nice excursion to break up sitting on a sun lounger
Ratty C — Google review
This place is so much better following it's revamp. It's cleaner and brighter and much more welcoming. Great buzz, plenty of shops, bars and eateries. The Hiperdino is well situated as not far from the taxi rank. And the fabulous "We are Warriors" charity shop is situated at the far end, next to the launderette in the lower tier, underneath Sunspot. It's well worth a visit.
Lynn W — Google review
You need to come because the food and the bars are extremely nice at el molino they make the most excellent stakes and lasagna so if you come to the shopping centre you need to try em molino and there’s a bar named 69 well there is about 3 of them but the one next to xtreeemz is good so if you come then you should come to where I suggested
Sophie L — Google review
This lady is really good. The price is decent. I had a full body massage. I will definitely go back to her if I am in Puerto Rico again
Gnelle O — Google review
Its full of atmosphere at nights when the place comes alive. I dont like the persistent bother of the staff outside restaurants almost begging you to come in, it spoils the evening. I was also sick of the sun glasses/trinket peddlers bothering everytime they walked past me when i was enjoying a drink pressuring me to buy their junk. So if you ignore the restaurants begging you to come in & ignore the dozen or so SUNGLASSES/TRINKET SELLERS its a busy place. The only restaurant not "begging" you to come in is THE SAN MIGUEL, they don't need to as they have the best attitude, food & service in PUERTO RICO truly wonderful people working & giving you the best they can. Don't let my comments put you off about the Trinket peddlers or the guys outside the restaurants trying to get you to come in, just ignore them or tell them you have already eaten. The sunglasses & handbag sellers are persistent but again if you are firm & say no thanks or wave them away with a smile they tend to leave. It's a shame that these people are allowed to spoil the place, I don't want any hassle when relaxing with a drink or eating my meal. So don't worry about these little spoilers, just enjoy the experience & have a great time. As a footnote live music in THE SHAMROCK ☘️ BAR is great. So have your meal & then go & enjoy some music from the many great musicians appearing nightly. Special mention when KELLY MARLOW is doing his thing you can't help but feel the ENERGY he puts out & he really is an Electric entertainer who gives 1000%. If you could attach an electric cable to him he would power the whole of Puerto Rico. Hope this little review helps. Update July 2025 just the same but some places are closed due to "family" holidays.

Market Puerto Rico is a sophisticated retail destination that features a handpicked selection of unique shops and trendy restaurants. It's an impressive shopping center in Puerto Rico de Gran Canaria, offering visitors a diverse range of options for grabbing a quick bite or enjoying an upscale dining experience with loved ones. The building's aesthetics are visually captivating, and the quality of the markets, superstores, and shops is exceptional.
Very attractive place, shops on ground floor with restaurants on upper level. Great hanging garden ( Not quite Babylon style). Some pretty expensive alcohol if you drink the stuff. Toilets are spotlessly clean and free. Probably better at night when more is open.
Paul S — Google review
Clean and modern but I was hoping for a better shopping experience as this mall is directed at tourists with more money than sense. Across the road a large Spar can be found which is worth a visit.
Jim V — Google review
So many cute shops and good WiFi connection. Very nice benches to chill on as well with lovely views.
Flóra M — Google review
Great selection of shops , attractive surroundings , love the place
Andy S — Google review
Let me start by saying this review is purely based on my personal experience at The Market in Puerto Rico, Gran Canaria and that experience mostly involved being the designated bag holder on a family shopping mission. Now, the place itself is tidy and modern, with a bunch of stylish shops and casual eateries. If you enjoy browsing beauty products, fashion, or cute little boutiques, then you’ll probably be right at home here. But for me? I stepped into the first shop (Primor, I think it was called), took one look around, and noped right back out. Not my scene at all. I spent the rest of the visit sat on one of the benches, people-watching and waiting for my family to finish shopping. Peaceful enough, sure, but also mind-numbingly dull if you're not into shopping or café-hopping. It’s one of those places that’s definitely suited to a certain type of holiday-goer, just not this one. To be fair, it’s clean, well-kept and has a bit of an upmarket feel to it. It’s just not somewhere I’d rush back to unless I’m needed again to carry bags and offer the occasional “yeah, that looks nice” from the sidelines.
James B — Google review
Go up here to the spar, decent selection of stuff for self catering, nice selection of ready made food,ie: lasagne, rice, potatoes, & lots of other bits that you can buy by the tub, so easy, fresh fruit & veg is good, the cakes in the cabinet are good as well, only downside no fresh milk, we did ask someone & he showed us long life.

Nice casual place. Some good deals to be had. Nice food upstairs plenty to choose from. Shamrock bar good for a bit of live music at night

Fantastic shopping centre, just what the area needed. Beautifully lit up in the evening, good selection of shops, Stradavarious, Bershka, Lefties, Pull & Bear, JD Sports, Lacoste, and many more. Good selection of cafes and restaurants, good seating areas. Free Parking most of the days, pet friendly also. Love it

The Shopping Center Plaza Mogan, also known as Centro Comercial y de Ocio Plaza Mogan, is a relaxed commercial hub that offers a variety of fashion and accessory boutiques as well as restaurants with outdoor seating. Recently visited in October after the lockdown, it was observed that the place had become vibrant with bustling shops and an improved presence of the Quintin bar compared to previous visits when it was only partially occupied.
It's a small sized shopping mall withna bit of variety to the shops in there. You've got restaurants, pharmacy, gift shops, perfume shops, mobility shops (wheel chairs and other mobility devices for rental). There is a top floor to this mall, don't make the mistake not only walking through the ground floor.
Iyke — Google review
Shopping centre with shoe shops, general store, perfume shops etc.. there are larger shopping centres around. This one didn’t have many shops but it’s good for a walk around. There’s a bar, selling food, coffee etc.. and a large superdino on the corner. The walk to this place is nice, with benches, gym equipment and the view are good. 👍 Definitely worth the visit just for the walk down the streets nearby, and see the hotels. It’s 5 minutes walking from the bus station. There’s also a restaurant a bit further up from here towards Mogan.

Took the free bus from the hotel Princess in taurito .Got a taxi back around 27 euros bars and gifts shop ideal for a few pints..

Quite large modern looking shopping centre a short distance from the main commercial area. Range of shops from cheap and cheerful beach goods to pharmacy to cafes etc. Short walk from bus station. Close to the top end of the Friday market.
Stuart M — Google review
A shopping centre serving those who are staying locally. Contains some restaurants on top level and some one ground level. There is a ramp up to the top floor which is good for anyone needing it such as buggies. Around half the shops are open at the moment and based towards tourists. There is a chemist on the front. Guessing that the past couple of years have seen a few shops close, but plenty of opportunities for new ones to open. Gift shops and a perfume shop as well as a few clothing and footwear shops.

Excellent customer service. Alina went above and beyond to help us find what we were looking for. Quality jewelry and exceptional care from both Alina and her husband.

Called in in October for the first time since before lock down. And was pleasantly pleased to see the place was full of shops and the bar Quintin there as last time it was only half full. The market running right up to it is great too and I'm sure that has helped boost the footfall in the the shopping centre.

Nestled atop a hill, the Europa Shopping Centre is a vibrant hub in Puerto Rico de Gran Canaria that offers an array of experiences for visitors. With its stunning balcony views, it’s the perfect spot to catch breathtaking sunsets over the ocean. The center boasts a diverse selection of bars and restaurants serving everything from hearty steaks and burritos to flavorful Indian and Chinese dishes, ensuring there's something for every palate.
We’ve been to the Europa Centre many times over the years during our holidays in Gran Canaria, and it’s always a nice place to pop back to. There’s something comforting about the familiar layout, the atmosphere, and the steady buzz of people enjoying themselves. It’s still a great spot to grab a bite to eat, with plenty of restaurants to choose from, whether you're after a quick snack or a full sit-down meal. After that, there’s always time for a bit of retail therapy in the various gift shops, picking up souvenirs or that one fridge magnet you swore you didn’t need. The only downside for us is that the arcades are no longer there. They used to be a highlight, especially with kids in tow or if you just fancied a bit of fun after dinner. It’s a bit of a shame they’ve gone, as they added some extra energy and entertainment to the place. That said, the Europa Centre still holds its charm and is well worth visiting while in Puerto Rico. Whether it’s your first time or you’re a returning visitor like us, it’s always a good stop for food, shopping and a little wander.
James B — Google review
Plenty of places to eat, drink and shop. Prices reasonable and never had a bad meal there. Chinese buffet upstairs was by far the best. A few drunken loud people and groups hanging around, which was a bit off putting. Unfortunately there are people stood outside Bars, Shops & Restaurants pestering you as you walk to come into their business. Some are quite persistent and hassle you, which isn't ever a pleasant experience. It puts me off ever going inside these businesses and has the opposite reaction. Went into one of the shops to attempt to buy a pair of headphones, Indian looking man ignored my requests and tried to sell me something I didn't want, very pushy, wouldn't take no for an answer, so after I firmly told him and walked away, he finally got the message. So if any of the businesses from the Europa centre are reading this, please stop hassling potential customers.
Wing N — Google review
A few things to be careful with. The gift shops will charge you more if you don't double check. I paid 12 euros for 2 stuff that was the price of 5 euros. And the lady said I bought sunglasses when I didn't!!! Its the first tourist shop at the entrance near the ice cream statue over kebab shop. And they didnt give me any money back. I think it was too much going on for the cashier. And the kebab takeaway guy is very sensitive. He flirts with everyone.
S N — Google review
Been here a few times during my visits to Gran Canaria. Lots of entertainment and places to eat . Don't like being pestered to come and eat here requests
Steve A — Google review
Yes it's old-fashioned. Slightly run down. Reminded me of walking into a time warp back in the last 80s/90s. However, it serves it purpose. Everything you need. Supermarkets, bars, cafes, Tapas, Restaurants. The entertainment is far better here than you would find in your hotel. Staff were all friendly & accommodating. You can haggle in the souvenir shops. The odd local selling more than just food/drink moping around but we never felt pressured or unsafe whilst there.
Del E — Google review
Lots of options but most of the gift shops/tourist shops have the same stuff in it. Every restaurant we went in had great quality food and friendly staff. Only downside is people outside of shops and restaurants haggling you to go inside, gets very irritating quickly and put me off some of the locations.
Toby — Google review
Loads of good bars with music and entertainment on but all the restaurants and bars sell same food it definitely caters for British all burgers ,steaks, pasta and pizza ,and definitely hire a car thats a must .

Nestled within the vibrant SuperDino Mogán Mall, this supermarket is a gem for both locals and visitors alike. Known for its iconic green dinosaur logo, SuperDino offers a wide selection of groceries perfect for your short stay or weekly shopping needs. Whether you're looking for gluten-free or dairy-free options, you'll find plenty to choose from. The store is well-stocked with essential items, making it convenient despite some limited choices in product variety.
Clean, well kept supermarket which has everything you might need. The store is well stocked and prices are fair. Staff that we came across were very helpful and the lady on the checkout even packed our bag for us. There is a large, free, underground car park which you can use which was a great size and didn’t need you to squeeze into spaces! If you are local to the area and need a decent supermarket for your shopping, this place is certainly worth considering.

I would like to thank the staff at the Mogan Mall Hiper Dino . I was shopping today and had forgotten I had left my hospital medical records in the basket. I received a phone from the store to let me know they had them secure in store. I can’t thank the team enough it would of been so much work to get duplicate copies from the hospital whats a super team well done John

Great place to shop where all the products you require for your day to day use are there. The prices are very reasonable too. The location is very handy with a huge carpark just under it. It is usually open till 10pm. The staff are friendly & the Supermarket is kept clean.

If you are on a budget and want to get fresh produce that is cheaper than the sea front shop's, I recommend that you pay a visit. It's not too far a walk from the sea front. You can always stop at some of the bars on the way back that are cheaper than the sea front and have a beer or two and maybe have somthing to eat.

Had a lot of items that we bought as we were self catering but also used the big spar as their meat counter was ok but packets were too large for 2 people. Spar made up to quantity required, and had a bigger choice of pastries.
Steve B — Google review
Wonderful amount of fresh produce and an amazing selection of goods on offer. Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming.

Flea & Street Markets
The Mercadillo Artesanal - Puerto de Mogán is a touristy but pleasant flea market situated near the charming and vibrant port of Mogan. Visitors can enjoy strolling through this market, where they have the opportunity to purchase various souvenirs or clothing items in different sizes. It's worth noting that price negotiations are not available at this market, but one can find a wide range of merchandise ranging from large items to smaller trinkets.
Always a great market for locals and tourists who travel from all over the island. My favourite is the crepes lady selling beautiful flavours and fruits. Highly recommended.

The Monday craft/artisan market appears to be no longer running. I visited 2 Mondays in a row whilst staying locally in mid-January and it was not on. I have emailed the tourist board, who advertise it, to ask if this is a temporary or permanent cancellation! The Friday market is open as normal.
Helen W — Google review
is a lovely market to visit, especially if you enjoy local crafts and unique finds. Held on Fridays, the market features a wide range of handmade products, from jewellery and clothing to artwork and pottery. It’s a great place to pick up souvenirs or gifts that reflect the local culture and craftsmanship. The market is set near the harbour, which adds to the charm, making it a pleasant experience to browse through the stalls while enjoying the coastal views. The vendors are friendly, and many items are made by locals, giving you a real sense of the island’s creativity. It’s not too crowded, which makes it easy to explore at your own pace. Whether you’re after something special for yourself or just want to enjoy the atmosphere, Mercadillo Artesanal offers a nice mix of local flavour and handmade goods.

I had some reservations after reading some of the reviews but as I was staying in Puerto de Mogan, i had a stroll around this morning. I'm not sure why the reviews for this market are so low. Yes a lot of the stalls do sell the same products but in between these there are some absolute gems selling fantastic unique items. I bought some locally produced prints and some beautiful handmade shell jewellery. And even if you don't like the market you have the beautiful Marina and flowered streets to explore. I've only took one star off as it is so spread out, all the way from Cordial Mogan Playa Hotel to the very end of the Marina harbour wall.

Absolutely not worth to go there only for Market. Nothing special to buy. Every thing is from China, nothing from the region self, waste of time.
Sirwan A — Google review
It is not a 'mercadillo artesanal', there are almost only stand selling fake designer products, are stuff from Temu/Ali/Shein...it was disappointing.
Marieke C — Google review
Really good market , lots of stalls of everything you could imagine Some different things as well Really liked the variety of it especially the stall with little ornaments & the free engraving of a name or what ever you wanted. Very talented lady doing it.

Nestled conveniently by the beach, Shopping Center Passarella is a delightful destination for both shopping and dining. Just a short stroll from nearby attractions, this charming center boasts an array of restaurants offering everything from pizza to Greek cuisine. You can also find various shops selling swimwear, souvenirs, and even jewelry at Midas Jewellers for those looking to indulge in some luxury items. With its proximity to the waterfront and a small supermarket on-site, it’s perfect for picking up essentials or gifts.
Visited my favourite Greek Restaurant, Rhodos Palace on the first floor. There is a lift. Plenty of gift shops, bars and taxi rank.

Harbour Light Irish pub. Colm is a nice guy.. Rhodos Palace, Greek restaurant. Owner is a wonderful lady..

This is where every tourist can find what's needed... Or not 😉 You can also find duty free stuff.
Valérie L — Google review
We had some wonderful rides nearby and then walked to the shopping centre in about 3 minutes. There are plenty of food restaurants, including pizza station, Greek restaurant, and grill options. You can get a souvenir here. A quiet wave less beach just in front of this shopping area. You can buy swim dresses here also. Beach towel costed around 5 euro, and swim shorts starting from 10.
Karteek C — Google review
Pretty poor shopping centre , almost no chance of getting parked
