Amazing place. Exciting, beautiful, well curated. A must- see. You need 3 hours at least yo enjoy it. There’s a nice restaurant and Bar with art all around in the sculpture garden.

One of the best museums I’ve visited. The architecture itself is really nice , and the sculpture garden is beautiful and relaxing, complete and offers a café for coffee or a bite to eat. The collection is thoughtfully curated. Plan to spend at least three hours to fully enjoy it, and arrive early as it can gets busy after 12.

Beautiful and monumental spot with stunning form and broad collection of contemporary artists. The architecture is stunning, combined with nature and beautiful view, creates unique and one of the kind atmosphere. It’s also great to sit in the garden cafe house and admire the sculptures around. The prices are quite high but it’s still worth visiting at least once.

My first visit here was in 1990. It was like discovering a rare, precious gem. On my latest visit, 40 years later, the magic and charm continues on... it is without doubt my most favourite art museum anywhere in the world!! The location amongst natural parkland, with glimpses to the sea in the distance, is bomeyond spectacular! Dining on the open terrace, next to the Chagall mural and by the stained glass of the chapel is something not to miss. I will certainly visit again, next time I'm in the south of France.

In my opinion one of the finer museums in the world. Restorative experience amidst the pine trees. Timeless mid century modern architecture with sculpture garden featuring works by Henry Moore, Calder and especially Miro. Impressive collection of 20th century modern art. Plan two hours minimum to enjoy the place. Early morning is nice and quiet, especially in the off-season. If you’re outside on the terrace around 12:00 plus 12:07, you can hear chapel bells ring.

A lovely day out from Nice. I had been to the Fondation a number of years ago when, I thought it just ok. But a major extension and renovation in 2022-24 has yielded great results. The gardens were always beautiful. But now the indoor galleries are way more extensive now showing off the beautiful collection. Plus their restaurant is lovely. We had lunch by the fountain. I highly recommend a visit.

This is an A+ museum. The art aside, there has been extensive steps taken to aid visitors to discover during their visit. The grounds are so pleasant. I highly recommend taking time to get a beverage and grab a chair outside to people watch and enjoy the sculptures while listening to birds chirp.

The most unfriendly waiters I’ve met in France. They just put the two sandwiches on ONE plate and literally slid it on the table. On the verge of being rude they left the feeling that we are somehow bothering them by having come to have some food. The paninis tasted ok. The best part was that the cafe is situated right next to the square where locals are playing pétanque, which was quite enjoyable to watch.

My friend and I were craving a crêpe during our break of a tour activity. It was there, quick & tasty. Can’t speak on more as we weren’t there for long but the ambience for the short time was pleasant.

The café itself is lovely — great spot, cozy vibe, and the food and drinks were genuinely good. The location adds extra charm; you can sit back and soak in the village atmosphere with a nice espresso or lunch plate. That said, the service really brought the experience down. Our server was dismissive and barely paid attention — felt like he didn’t want to be there or serve us at all. It’s a shame, because everything else was on point. If they improve the attitude and attention of the staff, this place could easily be a five-star stop in Saint-Paul-de-Vence.

Outright rude and openly racist. Ignored our requests while offering services politely to nearby tables. When we tried to call them out on their behavior they pretended to not speak English. They hardly have any options on the menu and whatever they have is terrible (food, wine and beers - everything is awful). I would stay away from this restaurant. Zero value for money.

Called in on a whim whilst passing, plat du jour was roast chicken, potato gratin and green beans and it was literally one of the best meals of my life. Large portions of delicious food served by efficient and friendly waiting staff. For EUR15 is was an absolute bargain, I cant vouch for the other plats du jour but if they're half as good as this was you're in for a treat.

Croque monsieur was extremely tasty and the salad was fresh, the aperol spritz was refreshing. Service is fast and friendly.

4,5€ for a glass of cold milk for a kid, after taken a mistaken order for 3 times and charging 5€ extra for things we didn’t have. DONT GO THERE

Old cemetery supposedly with some famous painters buried here (which we didn't particularly search for). There is also an old chapel here that was closed and locked at the time of our visit.

Really beautiful town! If you are close by you should really stop and take the time and just walk around. So many beautiful ateliers. Some really expensive some moderate, also local artists selling their art. Worth to buy some. Restaurants in this town look all good but are more on the expensive side. But probably with it. At least you get most of the time good views.

This is the most gorgeous little medieval village. The views out across the village walls look out across the rolling hills of the French riviera. While the valley is now populated with houses it is still phenomenally gorgeous and is well worth a visit.

Amazing views along the rampart walk. Warning: only for sure-footed people with not-too-great fear of heights.

I had the chance to visit the beautiful village of Saint-Paul-de-Vence on a recent trip to the Cote d'Azur. The village is charming, with amazing views of the Mediterranean Sea and surrounding mountains. Being an art major is college, I especially loved the many galleries, which displayed a variety of styles and artists. My favorite though would have to be Galerie Le Capricorne. I love the modern style and the artists affinity for animals. Above all, the gentleman in the gallery, I believe his name was Daniel, really made my visit special. Not only did he have a thorough knowledge of the artist and his work, but he made me feel at home by actually walking next door and buying me a coffee. After much deliberation, I finally bought a beautiful piece for my home that I'll display with pride.

Be very very careful if you deal with this gallery and ask to see the insurance policy if shipping overseas. We had damage in transit that cost about 5% of the cost of the painting to fix and got exactly nothing. This was despite being told we were fully insured. The painting was left with our concierge and on the excuse that the carrier did not see the damage their payment was zero. Somehow stretcher marks and bubble wrap marks were put there by us deliberately. Advice from a professional painting restorer was ignored. Oh, then the excuse was they were not paying because I was rude; furious would be a better description. GJP

‘Medium cooked steak’ - it came out after 2 minutes, it was ice cold and gross. This photo was taken after we asked them to cook it longer … We should have realised it was dodgy as there were no other customers.

We called in here on a day trip to St Paul de Vence. It doesn't look wonderful but the food was absolute fine. We had duck breast with pepper sauce and mashed potatoes. Don't let the appearance put you off the food was really good. Take care if you use the loo, one lady couldn't get the door to open!!

Terrible food. The steak was 30% gristle, the fries were soggy and floppy, the prawns were flavour less and the rest was bad in various ways. Worst meal we've had in France. The pub next door was full, and this place was empty, so we went here. Now we know why. Should have checked reviews. At the price they're charging, they need to purchase higher quality produce and the chef needs to work on their craft. Beautiful little location, and the service was lovely which made things much nicer.

While we were very disappointed, will try to describe our experience as factually as possible. We arrived and we’re seated by a very nice waiter, who then offered us a more comfortable table with a lovely view. However then we waited a while to order and few other guests came, ordered, ate and left before (more than an hour later) we caught attention of the waiter who then brought the food (almost right away) to our table. We ordered duck on the specials menu, but upon receiving the meal and tasting it, we both noticed taste, smell and texture of pork meat (there was a porc à la plancha on the menu). We went to see the waiter to let him know that there was a mistake in our order and he said that this was in fact a duck meat. At this point, we were hungry and needed to leave to catch a bus and train for a long ride back to our accommodation, so we decided to eat what we were served and leave - cancelling our desert order.

The view is great, the beer (heineken...) was cold. And that's it. Food looks appetizing or at least interesting on the menu, but very disappointing when it is tasted. Expect cantine quality. At least it's not particularly pricey, but there's much better to be found in St Paul for not much more. We had the linguini au pistou (pasta undercooked, pistou still to be found), and porc a la plancha (the mashed potatoes tasted like mousseline from a box, and pork was basic). Seeing the kitchen gave me some anxiety. Service was nice and relatively efficient though. Come there to feed the kids for not too much, and sip a drink in the meanwhile.

Food and setting were good. Drinks also. Food pretty basic pasta, a bit dry but not overdressed if a bit overcooked ! For a quick lunch or dinner it is ok but not a highlight of French (or any) cooking

The waitresses were incredibly rude and agressive the moment we stepped foot into the restaurant , the waiting time was incredibly long , food was okay but we ordered a greek salad that came with eggs and dressing , that is not what a greek salad should contain . When we asked about a missing item the waitress snapped at us and started badmouthing us in french to the other waitress and when we called her out on that she stormed to the kitchen . We also had to pay for one of us not eating and we HAD to order a dish for everyone at the table , overall it was a bad experience and we sincerely do not recomand this restaurant .They keep the garbage cans on the terrace where people dine and the kitchen is very unsanitary .The food isnt worth the attitude from the workers .

I'm staying at one of the rooms (#1) and it is incredibly beautiful. Such a spacious room and with the best furniture. I love it so much! The gardens are gorgeous! I was lucky to visit the Maison Jean Prouvé and saw the original furniture and interiors as well. Everything is really nice.

Not my favorite art exhibits but it was cool to learn about the CAB foundation and the houses they have. Can’t wait to explore more! The restaurant has a nice patio if you’re looking for a quiet place to have a bite away from the craziness of the village.

I had a marvellous time at the Fondation. It is truly a unique place: rooms are cozy, staff is really helpful and kind, the views are stunning and also the art surrounding the whole complex is exquisite! I highly recommend this place

Unbelievably the owner of this Galerie Neel Chourlet came out and told us off for hiding the ‘artwork’ on display in her window. She told us we were very rude turning our backs on her window and stopping people from seeing in!!!! We were literally only standing there for 2 minutes. We were totally lost for words at the attitude of this lady she was obviously in a very bad mood having not sold any of her very expensive ‘painted cats’!!!!! Please Beware!
