We visited Balizoo on the 2/10/25. This was a wonderful all day experience. The open spaces for the animals gives reassurance that they are well cared for. Each animal having their own story told via the zoo wardens. We fed and rode the elephants, being able to get up close and personal with them was a great experience.Rahning and Adi were our guides for the Behind Closed Doors tour. Both are very good communicators, are knowledgeable about the individual animals, their back stories… Both Rahning and Adi were very engaging, confident and reassuring, they both enriched our experience at Balizoo. Thank you to everyone at Balizoo for making a wonderful experience for us.🫶

I really enjoyed my time here. I went around midday on a Wednesday and there were very few people there. They had large roped areas for lines for tickets and the shuttle - however I never had to line up. Everything was smooth. I thought it would be super hot, but they’ve done a great job with shaded footpaths. The grounds are beautifully landscaped. All the enclosures felt well cared for and clean. A highlight for me was feeding the Lemurs! For 200k you could feed them. They had someone who could take photos of you using your own phone (great for me as I was alone). I wish they had a clear schedule for feeding times so you know when they are doing it. I just happened to show up at the right time There are plenty of food options with both restaurants and snack shops.

We had so much fun at the Bali Zoo! We purchased the combo package that included the Elephant Expedition and the Behind Closed Doors tour. It was wonderfully organized and we have memories to last us a lifetime! Our guides Rahning and Angga were amazing 🤩. They were very informative, funny, and interactive with the people on the tour. They separated the tour into small groups so you weren’t on it with too many people. It worked out great! We even got to go to the tiger and lion cages to feed them food! 😱 this is a must-do when visiting Bali, 10/10 recommend!

We had an amazing day at Bali Zoo. The place is spacious, clean, and beautifully designed with lots of greenery. The animals look well taken care of and the enclosures are well maintained. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. We especially loved the animal encounters – feeding the elephants and deer was such a fun experience. Perfect place to visit with kids, very educational and enjoyable. Definitely worth a visit when in Bali!

I absolutely loved the Bali Zoo! It was an experience unlike any other that I have ever had and I have been going to the zoo since I was a kid. I’ve been to the zoo in California, Amsterdam, New Jersey, And other places and this was one the more intimate and beautiful experiences that I can say that I’ve had. I can tell that the people really care for the animals. They are about preserving the species that are endangered and educating people about the animals. I might end up going back before I finish my stay if not I hope these picture ls and videos encourage others to go. I did the Behind Closed Doors experience which allows you to have a light lunch, visit the zoo and then experience the behind the scenes safari where you can feed the lions, tiger, elephants, ostrich, and several other animals and learn about the operations of the zoo and the animals. They use positive reinforcement at the zoo which I also liked and makes me happy as an animal lover and lover of nature and living things. I’m giving this experience and destination 5 stars for the zoo and staff not for the life lunch provided lol that’s all I will say there. They are a zoo not a 5 star restaurant but where there is Bintang beer in Bali I’m happy 🤷🏾‍♀️🫶🏾🙌🏾❤️😍

We had a great time at Bali Zoo! The place is clean, well kept, and surrounded by beautiful greenery. The highlight was definitely feeding the deer and elephants such a fun and memorable experience. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside is that the entrance package feels a bit overpriced for what’s included.

📍 Bali Bird Park Review The Bali Bird Park is absolutely one of my favorite experiences in Bali—so much so that I’m already planning to come back next time I visit! I was so excited about this place. Out of everything I’ve done here, this stood out the most. I didn’t just like it—I insanely loved it! The variety of birds is stunning, and the staff do a great job presenting them in a way that feels engaging without being overwhelming. The grounds are lush and beautifully maintained, and the interactive bird shows are a real highlight—you get to see the birds up close in action. What really blew me away was how incredibly interactive and friendly the birds are. I thought I’d spend maybe 2 or 3 hours here, but I could have stayed all day. Every moment was a new adventure—looking, playing, and feeding the birds. It felt less like visiting a park and more like being part of a living, magical conversation with nature. There are even flocks of flamingos and hens roaming around freely, which feels surreal and delightful, like they’ve casually decided to join your walk. Alongside them, the park has well-kept aviaries that house other species in lush little habitats, giving you a mix of spontaneous encounters and curated beauty. One thing I’d skip next time is the lunch package—the food wasn’t very special, and meanwhile, everyone else was enjoying the birds. Better to eat outside so you don’t miss any of the magic inside. If you love animals, colors, and joy, the Bali Bird Park is pure wonder. I can’t recommend it enough—and I absolutely can’t wait to return.

The most gorgeous and interesting birds! The park itself is lovely. The landscaping and enclosures looked great. The information presentations were very engaging and fun. They let you feed some of the birds, you can have pictures holding the birds. I was impressed with the food at the restaurant- we ordered a la carte, and we had nasi goreng, spaghetti carbonara and spaghetti bolognese. The kids loved their pastas, and the nasi was delicious. Oh! Also we got spring rolls which were absolutely perfect. The toilets at the park were like fancy hotel toilets; with air conditioning and very clean and well maintained cubicles. Impressive for Bali! We had a wonderful, fun, educational day. Loved it!

Great park friendly staff and plenty to see. We had to do a quick tour due to other commitments but really enjoyed the hour we were there. They even have a couple of kamodo dragons as well. They do daily feeding sessions with some of the animals and you can hold the parrots for a nice picture. Set in beautiful grounds give it a go you will enjoy

It was an awesome experience for the whole family! The kids even got to feed the birds – really fun and interesting. I never got the feeling that the animals aren’t well taken care of; everything looks clean and nicely maintained. The restaurant was great too, delicious food! We’d love to come back.

This was such a fun and full day out with my toddler! She and I both loved it. The staff are incredible, the grounds and enclosures are stunning, and there are several opportunities to ‘interact’ with birds as well as see special ‘shows’. The ticket is a bit expensive, but overall with it. The food though is not great, so bring your own picnic (and water !!! As water is 42,000 for a bottle)

Worth it! First off, you’ll get to see an amazing variety of tropical birds. Big ones! Colorful ones! You can even hold them!! The shows throughout the day get you very up close and personal with the birds. The Komodo dragons were an unexpected bonus. Got to watch them eat!

A serene, peaceful escape, with a river flowing on one side and lush forest on the other. It's an ideal spot for a tranquil sunrise walk. Has a temple at the start and end of trail. The path leads to an art village, where you can unwind at charming cafés afterward. A perfect blend of nature and culture, perfect for relaxation.

A lovely walk. Best done early or late in the day this is casual stroll from Ubud. The path is easy to follow but not really suitable for disabled access as there's stairs along the way. The surrounding vegetation is a little overgrown with weeds in sections but the walk is well worth allowing a couple of hours when in the area.

Nice place to walk not far from the city. You have a good walking trail, but most of it expose to the sun. You can't go of the walking way to gind you a nice quit place in the wood. On start from south you can reach the river. On the north point you have some galeres and coffee shoe. If you need to get by walk to your entry point, start from south because there is a hilll to go, and it will be nicer to go down after you finish you walking.

Beautiful walk. Lots of up and down and stairs. If someone has trouble walking won't be too good for them. It is very hot as well. This Campuhan Ridge Walk can be a leisurely hike and takes around 30 to 45 minutes each way. Ofcourse depending on your pace and how often you stop for photos. I didn't go too far as it was very hot and humid but the entire round trip can be completed in about 1.5 hours. I also recommend wearing comfortable sneakers or walking shoes because the path is uneven in some places. If you plan to explore the nearby villages or stop at one of the cafés along the way, you might want to allow a bit more time. I stopped at a beautiful temple to visit just before starting the trail, so I would probably dedicate half a day to this visit. Lush greenery everywhere. It's free to enter the place.

It's a round-trip hike. We only walked the one-way route, entering from the north and exiting. Most people enter through the entrance and then turn back facing north. If you come from the entrance, you'll have to climb uphill like a mountain hike, but if you start from the north, it's mostly downhill. The walk from the north only took about 30 minutes. It's quite short, but the atmosphere is great.

Spewing I didn’t get up earlier to enjoy the sunrise colours. I began the walk around 6am… the path is clean with few people around so it’s quite peaceful. Views from the ridge are lovely and friendly faces along the path made it a warm morning. I stopped at Karsa Spa for my booked massages and was very impressed. Am going to try lunch next door now

The pavement/walkway was so clean and serene. Come early to avoid the heat. I didn't go all the way to the other side but you can enjoy the calm village view and had smoothie, fruits or coffee on your way.

This museum houses the paintings of Antonio Blanco a Spaniard who was born in the Philippines then moved to Bali and settled here. It’s a beautiful quiet place. The parrots were my favourite part I got to hold them and take photos they are lovely and have such a calming energy. There were very few people and my mom and I enjoyed strolling around together. We enjoyed the quiet garden with the fountain and fishes 🐟 also the beautiful friendly parrots 🦜 there’s a plant based restaurant next door as well with some nice gelato and great service and views! I would totally recommend this place and the gelato next door to cool down after a long day of walking

What an incredible museum. It was awesome to see the Dali of Bali/Antonio Blancos artwork in person. And to also see all the intricate beautiful frames along with his amazing paintings. They frames are an artwork in itself!! From the moment you walk in... you'll feel a unique energy... his paintings welcome you to his vivid imagination and talented vision. Spent a few hours admiring his marvellous works and his art studio where I met Bill the hornbilll!! It was so lovely to see his family home, creative space / studio. I especially loved the unique wall art pieces and his ode to Salvador Dali!! ✨️💕

Such a lovely museum! They offer many ways to explore Blanco’s life and that of his family — his studio, the beautiful garden with exotic birds, photographs, paintings, his authentic painting space, and films. To my surprise, his granddaughter suddenly appeared next to me and offered to share more about him and their family, even giving me a personal tour. It was such an authentic and personal experience. I would definitely recommend visiting!

Put this on your list of Top 100 things to do in Ubud. In other words there are 99 better things to do in Ubud than set foot in this badly-lit, dusty, self-Indulgent museum to a mediocre artist. The building and its grounds are impressive but that’s where it ends. Save your 100 IDR entrance fee and use it instead for a couple of patisserie at one of Ubuds best restaurants right next door at Plant Bistro. Here’s a picture of one of the displays at the museum to give you a taste of what you’re missing!

An excellent museum and a striking example of what can be achieved in a small provincial town like Ubud, using the legacy of a local (and international) art legend — the painter Antonio Blanco. PS His paintings, rich in sensuality and detail, are sure to appeal even to the most refined artistic tastes. Note that photography inside the museum is not allowed.

I came expecting a nice relaxing art viewing but I was disappointed. The place was beautiful but my god it's so HOT inside, I was sweating like crazy and it makes me not comfortable to be in the museum for too long. The birds were cute though, and the staff was nice and would offer to take your pics. But honestly for the ticket price of 55k it wasn't worth it overall

This was my 4th time visiting the monkey forest and I loved it. Despite what you hear about monkey aggression, you just have to follow the rules and signs. I did make eye contact with a monkey by accident and it grabbed me which I found quite funny to be honest. It didn’t hurt me, and it was my mistake lol. To add to that, I have never been attacked or seen anyone badly injured here. Honestly, it was heartwarming to see the local Balinese bonding and feeding the monkeys, you can tell they are trained and know what they are doing. I really enjoy the fact that these monkeys are able to free roam. It may be scary for humans, but it is great that they are not chained or caged. It is so nice to see the Balinese genuinely care for these gorgeous animals. At the end of the day, you are in the monkeys home. Treat them with respect and they shall leave you be. It’s a really beautiful and breezy area. The natural landscape of this place is breathtaking.

A nice casual walk in the park. There are a lot of monkeys but they are not aggressive. There are conservation staff around to park to ensure that the interactions between the guests and monkeys are safe and ethical. The monkeys are not particularly afraid of humans and may climb onto a person, although no feeding is allowed. Most part of the park is shaded and in forest area. Bring bug spray. There’s a nice and easy walking trail through the forest and lots of relics to look at.

If you're a fan of monkeys and Balinese sculpture, you will love this lush green forest. It is a well-designed sanctuary with a good pathway system that makes for an easy walk. The monkeys are everywhere and very entertaining to see. It was a great spot to spend an hour or so.

Amazing! The monkeys were very chill during our visit. I had heard stories about them stealing belongings, but we didn’t see any of that. The place felt peaceful, entertaining, and truly magical.

I absolutely love the Sacred Monkey Forest. It is one of my favorite places to visit in Ubud. There are a few monkeys that can be a bit territorial, but the majority of them are extremely comfortable with all the people and just want to play or chill out. You can buy tickets in advance, but you don’t need to. There are plenty of kiosks or if you prefer to purchase them from a person, I’ve never seen much of a line.

Yes, it is geared for tourists and yes, you must haggle but some people like that. We arrived at 11:15 and it was starting to get busy. When we left and hour later it was hopping with people. We started in the building and then to the street market next door. Same stuff, smaller aisles. Ask how much, they name a price, you counter with half, and then the bargaining starts. It's fun and the shop keepers were not pushy at all. Hubby got a t-shirt for 130k and was happy. Warning! Lots of wooden penis on sale. Prep your kids! Across the street from the old Royal Palace.

Most of the prices are 3x the selling price we see at stores in Sanur Harbor. Even if you haggle, you will just be able to haggle it to the original selling price. So don’t buy unless you don’t have time to look elsewhere or want a challenge to haggle until you deem the price is worth the item. We were able to buy some items that I didn’t see in other places like the patched up pants.

We noticed the same goods being sold in many other parts of Bali, so don’t expect unique local craftsmanship here. Do check out the second floor if you visit, but overall, I wouldn’t return as it lacked originality.

The initial price that vendors quote is usually much higher than the actual selling value, so don’t hesitate to negotiate — it’s part of the fun! In many cases, you can get items for half or even one-third of the first price if you bargain politely and with a smile. For example, if something starts at 300,000 IDR, you can often get it for around 100,000 IDR or even less. It’s a great feeling when you walk away with a good deal while supporting local artisans. Just take your time, explore the different stalls, and enjoy the friendly conversations with the sellers. Overall, Ubud Art Market is not just a shopping stop — it’s a cultural experience where your bargaining skills can truly shine!

Pretty big market full of souvenirs and clothes. Everyone is happy to bargain, basically the price they tell you at first is always highly overpriced. If the say something cost 300k you can buy it at 150k easily or start bargaining and get it down to 50-100k rupees. Never ever accept initial pricing. We bought a bunch of souvenirs and clothes here. Pricing for the magnets is about +-20k, most of the clothes (tshirts, shorts, etc) you can get at 50-100k.

An extremely lively market with indoor, outdoor and most adjacent lanes packed with Balinese handicrafts. Hard Bargains are a must since the initial price quoted will always be 2-2.5x higher on most products. Some sellers are quite persistent and will go the whole nine yards to make the sale happen. Many others, won't even bother to negotiate and wave you away. A comparatively higher priced market than other neighborhoods within Bali. Coffee shops are dime a dozen along with money changers here.

Worth a visit if you’re into art. 🎨 They’ve got some nice gardens and ponds outside, and four buildings showcasing works from old to modern. You can even buy paintings. Personally, I found it a bit boring — was expecting more than just art.

The museum is a must go to see a piece of the history of Balinese art. It’s not well conserved, but has a great overview of how art has evolved over the centuries. In oct 2025, tickets were 95k IDR with a bottle of water :-). The museum is split into 4 galleries with the south one dedicated to very recent artwork - the least interesting one. The gardens of the museum are beautiful.

A well curated museum. Alot of Balinese history through art. If you want to take it all in across each building of which there are four, be prepared to spend 90 minutes minimum.

This is probably among the better art museums in Indonesia. More importantly, it provides a narrative about the development of painting in Bali. The grounds are very beautiful, and given that most tourists won’t bother with a serious museum about art in a place such as Bali, it’s incredibly peaceful.

Absolutely loved this little art museum - the grounds are serene and picturesque, I learned about the artistic culture in Bali over time, and the special exhibition was very eye-catching. Visiting on a Sunday morning in late July had very few other people around.

If you’re already in Ubud, the palace is worth a quick stop, but honestly, there isn’t much to see inside. From a religious and cultural aspect it holds value for the Balinese people, but for tourists it can feel underwhelming—just a few closed doors and crowded pathways in the middle of Ubud’s busy center. You can walk through the grounds in about 3–5 minutes, and the admission during the day is free, which is a plus. The gardens are well maintained, the carvings are beautiful, and the atmosphere carries historic charm. It’s also right in the city center, so convenient if you’re already out shopping or exploring nearby attractions. That said, the real highlight here is in the evening. The palace transforms into a venue for nightly traditional Balinese dance performances such as Legong and Barong. The show costs 100,000 IDR per person (cash only) and is absolutely worth it. The music of the gamelan orchestra, the elaborate costumes, and the graceful movements of the dancers create an enchanting cultural experience. Arrive early—people gather as early as 6:30 pm for good seats, with the performance starting at 7:30. Sitting closer to the front gives the best view, but if you prefer comfort, choose a chair instead of the carpet. Be careful of monkeys in the area—they can be aggressive and snatch belongings if you’re not cautious. Also note, the daytime visit alone isn’t particularly memorable, but the evening performance is where Ubud Palace truly shines. Overall, it’s a well-maintained landmark with historical and cultural importance, but the dance show is the part that makes it worth recommending.

This was our first stop on our Bali trip. We visited the palace and purchased tickets for the Legong of Mahabharata Epic dance show. The palace itself isn’t very big—the part open to visitors is quite small—but it does offer some beautiful photo opportunities and gives you those old Balinese vibes. We came back later in the evening for the show. Outside, you’ll find old ladies selling beers, chips, rain covers, and more. Prices are quoted high, so a little negotiation helps. The show was fantastic. They provide a pamphlet explaining the different dance performances, which is worth reading to better understand what’s happening on stage. The dancers, musicians, and overall performance were excellent. While the show runs for about 1–1.5 hours and might feel a bit long for some, I personally found it really engaging. All in all, Ubud Palace is a must-stop when in Ubud!

We visited Ubud Palace, Bali in November 2024 and loved the experience. The traditional Balinese architectures are stunning, and there are great photo spots throughout. Outside, you’ll find small shops selling local crafts and souvenirs. We were lucky to catch a Balinese festival at that time - with music, offerings, and traditional dress, which made the visit even more special. A beautiful place to explore Balinese culture and heritage. Can add it to your itinerary if you are visiting Ubud.

Very vibrant modern surroundings with ancient energy inside. Place is very small but is full with Dharmic signs and energy. Many statues were covered so it was bit disappointing , it would have been great if all statues were shown to visitors. But full marks to people of Bali for only preserving their Hindu heritage but also living it. Bali has so many things to cover, so it’s not possible in 5 days cover to even cover 25% of places.

My visit here was truly enchanting — the palace beautifully showcases traditional Balinese architecture with its intricate carvings, golden details, and serene courtyards filled with tropical plants. It’s a perfect place to feel the essence of Balinese culture and royalty. The palace is not very large, but every corner tells a story of heritage and spirituality. The preserved buildings and stone sculptures reflect the traditional craftsmanship of Bali’s golden age. It’s located right in the center of Ubud, close to the art market, making it convenient to explore both in a single visit. I also enjoyed the evening traditional dance performance held in the palace courtyard — it was mesmerizing, with graceful dancers, colorful costumes, and live gamelan music creating an unforgettable experience. Entry to the palace during the day is free, and it’s well maintained with friendly staff who are happy to share information about its history. Visiting at sunset adds a magical glow to the atmosphere. Overall, Ubud Palace is a must-visit cultural gem in Bali — a place that connects you deeply to the island’s artistic soul and royal heritage.

We couodnt make in time to see the palace as it closes by 5.30 or 6 but we bought tickets to watch the dance performance at the palace. The dance performance started at 7 and was great. I think they could make it shorter and less costlier than more people will visit and stay throughout the performance.

Nice place, but crowded. We went there for Legong dance show. It was the first time seeing such a balinese dance, was interesting but since we had to sit on the floor for a good spot it was a bit exhausting to watch it an hour long. We were there half an hour before the show. So if you want to have good seats you should probably be there way earlier

I absolutely loved my visit to Taman Safari Zoo! The animals were clearly well cared for, and it was such an incredible experience to see them up close. The lions were breathtaking, coming right up to the caged vehicle we were in, and the tiger was phenomenal as it leapt onto the truck, giving us an unforgettable close encounter. The elephants were simply beautiful, along with the zebras and so many other amazing animals throughout the park. The staff were fantastic—helpful, friendly, and welcoming—which made the experience even better. To top it all off, we enjoyed a buffet dinner at the on-site restaurant, which offered a delicious and extensive variety of dishes. We were also entertained by a performance. Overall, it was a beautiful place and an experience I highly recommend!

It’s a zoo. Expect a zoo. The drinks and food are expensive. The main show was actually very cool with the “domestic animals” being almost circus trained. I’ve never seen Guinea pigs or house cats perform tricks. They wild animals were less trained but still cool. Coolest thing we saw was the bearcats and the hornbills. My son was taught how to play the Rindik (traditional xylophone) for no cost. That was nice.

Bali Safari & Marine Park was an absolutely amazing experience for our family! From the moment we entered, we were greeted with warm smiles and helpful staff. The park is beautifully maintained, with immersive animal habitats and a perfect mix of education and entertainment. The safari journey was thrilling — seeing animals like elephants, tigers, and zebras up close was unforgettable. The animal shows were engaging and fun, and the cultural performances added a wonderful touch to the day. My children especially loved the interactive experiences and photo opportunities. A big thanks to the team for their friendliness and excellent service. This is a must-visit attraction in Bali that left us with beautiful memories.

The place is of great fun for family, the safari journey in the secured vehicle is great. You get to see alot of animals. The animal presentation shows Tiger, Elephant and Bird are amazing don't miss. It's better to go as early as possible since first show starts at 10:00 am. I recommend the first or basic package since you won't have time for the other options in higert pacakges

We had an amazing experience in Bali Safari. An interesting place to visit especially with children (as adults, we really enjoyed it). You can visit their website to buy the ticket in advance, and the price may vary based on what you want to do. They also offer a night safari. You might want to bring a cap or portable fan because the weather can get really hot most of the time.

We were here with the rest of my colleague and their children, Anita and Shirley, Ashley, Aaron and Arion from Darwin. I stayed for 3days and they stayed longer. At the Safari, we met our tour guide Mr. Prasad, and saw not many animals only few. It feels like we were the last people to visit the Safari because its about to close down. As you can see only the stone animal figures I only captured in the Safari because there were only Monkeys, Elephants, Snakes, Tigers, Birds and Giraff. It's the usual animals of all the Safaris I've been to. There were no more wild animals in Safari.

The Bali Safari & Marine Park is well designed and there are many different kinds of animals and fish. The safari experience itself is okay, and the park definitely provides opportunities to see animals up close and learn more about them. In that sense, I appreciate that the park tries to raise awareness among visitors about different species and the importance of conservation. However, there are also some aspects that personally appeal to me less. For example, I find it unfortunate that there are still shows where animals perform tricks, and that elephant rides are offered. In my view, this is outdated and does not contribute to education or animal welfare. Additionally, I found the sustainability policy somewhat contradictory. For instance, you're not allowed to bring your own (sustainable) stainless steel water bottle into the park, while during the dolphin show they emphasize how harmful plastic is to the ocean. At the same time, plastic Le Minerale bottles are sold everywhere. If the park truly wanted to support sustainability and reduce plastic pollution, affordable water refill stations would be a much better and more credible solution than selling single-use plastic. As a result, the whole thing feels like greenwashing. In short: a beautiful park with great potential and a valuable educational approach, but there is definitely room for improvement in terms of animal welfare and credible sustainability efforts.

Milk & Madu is such a lovely spot for breakfast in Ubud! We ordered the Eggs Brekky, Orchard Bowl, and Madu Pancakes all three dishes were absolutely top-notch, fresh, and full of flavor. The staff were welcoming and courteous, which made the experience even better. The place does get quite busy in the mornings, but the lively atmosphere and cozy ambience make it worth it. Definitely a must-visit in Ubud, and I’d love to come back again!

Absolutely loved our lunch at Milk and Madhu! The service was top-notch – we’re super picky vegetarians (no egg, no fish oil) and Captain Puspa and Novi were amazing, guiding us through the menu without batting an eye. She suggested the Summer Slice Pizza and OH MY GOD – best pizza EVER. I seriously still can’t get over how good it was. Big shoutout to the team for making a Milo Shake for us, even though it’s supposed to be just for kids. That was such a nice touch! We had an awesome lunch and can’t wait to come back soon. Highly recommend this place!

I came here on a Sunday to try their special brunch, and it was such a great way to start the day! I had the cheeseburger with a beer — absolutely delicious and satisfying. Then I couldn’t resist trying the dessert: an apple crumble pie with ice cream. It was simply amazing! I left with such positive vibes and a big smile. The atmosphere here is wonderful- friendly people, great music, and an overall lovely energy. Definitely a place I’d love to come back to:)

We came here based on reviews and had breakfast and dinner. Everything was great. They had breakfast promotions, and it was incredibly crowded. A line formed after we sat down, but it wasn't as crowded that evening, so we enjoyed our meal comfortably. Since we don't eat pork, they offered to swap our menu items for other items, which was very nice. We enjoyed the lasagna for dinner. The ice cream is safe, and the food is delicious. We recommend it.

Nice atmosphere in the morning and in the evening because inside gets too hot at noon (due to big glass windows). You can enjoy great cocktails (you pay one get two during the happy hour). I ordered grilled fish and salad -the portion was a bit small- but it was really delicious. Prices are a bit above average. Service was very fast.

The food here is soo good!! The smash burger was so juicy and flavoursome, and the fries were nice and crispy! My boyfriend got the chicken Parma which was one a deal for 99k, and he thoroughly enjoyed it! The staff were super friendly and even let me do some colouring haha they also offer seltzers on the drink menu which was fun to try! I would definitely recommend to eat and drink at Milk & Madu!!

Zest Ubud is a place where you instantly feel at home. The location is simply stunning – surrounded by greenery with a bright, open atmosphere that radiates both peace and inspiration. Every corner is warmly and thoughtfully designed, and you can feel the love for detail everywhere. The vegan menu is impressively diverse and truly delicious – every dish we tried was fresh, creative, and full of flavor. A must-try are the Spicy Corn Ribs and the fruit bowls – both are a perfect 10/10! What we especially loved is that plant-based food here isn’t treated as just an alternative, but as a full culinary experience in its own right. Within only four days we visited twice, simply because we enjoyed it so much – which says it all. The team also makes the experience even more special: the staff are extremely friendly, attentive, and create such a positive vibe. For us, Zest Ubud is definitely one of the absolute highlights in Bali!

Our absolute favorite place in Ubud! We’ve tried so many restaurants and cafés in Bali, sometimes 4–5 a day, but after visiting Zest we didn’t want to go anywhere else. The atmosphere is so unique — it can’t really be put into words, you just have to experience it. We came in the morning, during the day, in the evening, even late at night… and every time the energy felt so special. It’s incredibly cozy and makes you want to spend the whole day there, every day. The restaurant is fully vegan — which for me, as a non-vegan, after the third visit meant there was less excitement in trying new dishes — but still, everything is so unique and creative. And the selection of drinks is just amazing.

The staff and team here are some of the best. They are all super kind, very helpful, and full of smiles!! Great chill music, sometimes great live music. The views are also spectacular!! NOTE to the OWNER; please be aware of guests who sit around all day and take up space who are not ordering food or taking up entire tables with a laptop. It creates a low vibe and encourages a “work vibe”. Maybe make a laptop area only and tell guest who just sit around to kindly be on their way and let other people sit down. I love your concept and beautiful mission. Its a great place and I wish you the best in continued success!

Best vegan food we've had in Ubud. I love that they have so many gluten free options too. Our fave food were the sushi, cauliflower wings (AMAZING) and the pizza. Healthy choices, friendly staff, and nice atmosphere. This place is always crowded with tourists hanging out or working on laptops (in the afternoon). I think both times we visited, once for lunch and once for dinner, we were the only locals :)

It’s a beautiful place with an amazing atmosphere and a fantastic view. They have an all-vegan menu with high protein and recommended meals marked. I had the cacao ceremony with coconut cream on the side an the chickpea omelette. Both were amazing. I enjoyed my experience there a lot.

Stunning venue, and one of the most beautiful set in a restaurant I’ve seen across the globe. The service was very polite but little bit slow, though that’s not an issue in Bali. The whole piece of life is slow. However, the menu is tasty with a really good selection of vegan food yet was really lacking in protein dishes. They pointed out protein boosts to their foods but really needed some more Tempe and tofu on the menu. Highly recommended though.

One of the best meals I’ve had in Bali!! Didn’t even know it was vegan my fist time here and came back a few days later with a huge group. Everyone could not stop raving about how good each meal, drink, and dessert was incredible!! Mushroom parmigiana and the chocolate goddess ball were the favorites for sure! Yulita was our server and she was so lovely, attentive and helpful!! Can’t wait to be back!

Super glad we stopped in. The iced latte was refreshing and the strawberry shake was delicious. We chose some basic comfort food of chicken satay (simple and delicious), and fried rice (hey sometimes you crave fried rice just like it would taste in the US). After just 5 minutes of watching the pet bunnies hop around the yard, our food was ready!

Maha Cafe is a wonderful spot for breakfast, offering incredible value and a truly unique experience! I had the pancakes and the scrambled eggs with bacon and toast, and everything was delicious. While the portion of bacon was a bit small (just one rasher), the quality of the food more than made up for it, especially considering how affordable it was. The waiters were also so nice and attentive, which made the experience even better. One of the most delightful touches was the adorable rabbits hopping around the cafe! They were so cute and added a fun, relaxing vibe to the whole experience. It’s not every day you get to enjoy great food in such a charming and unique setting. Overall, Maha Cafe is an amazing place for breakfast—affordable, delicious, and memorable. If you’re looking for a great meal with a bit of extra charm and fantastic service, this is definitely the spot!

The pizza wasn't fresh. Unless I'm mistaken, it was frozen. It takes 35 to 45 minutes from ordering to serving. The pizza sauce was so sweet I thought it was tomato jam. I'm giving it 3 stars because the other Indonesian dishes were okay.

Need a calm relaxed little oasis to get off the hectic jl monkey rd- step in to Maha! It’s not 5*- if that’s what yr after then probz best to roll on. But if yr after a lush natural setting, literally just step off the street and out the back into “the secret garden”. Or stay out the front and watch it all unfold. We didn’t eat here. Just refreshed. So we can’t comment on the food. It looked good. Unbelievable how peaceful and cafe cool it is in the garden. Usual awesomeness from the beautiful staff 🤩

Maha Cafe Ubud is a delightful spot for breakfast with family! Located conveniently close to our hotel, we enjoyed a wonderful meal at a large table in the back, surrounded by adorable rabbits hopping around and saying hello. It was such a unique and charming touch! The cafe's fan provided a refreshing breeze, making the outdoor dining experience even more pleasant. The service was professional and attentive, ensuring a great start to our day. A notable highlight was the inclusion of coffee with many of the meals. As a group with some non-coffee drinkers, my partner ended up with three coffees, which turned out to be excellent! Maha Cafe offers all-day breakfast, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Payments can be made with either cash or card. Highly recommend for a lovely breakfast experience in Ubud!

Absolutely the best chicken satay that we had in the whole Ubud! Perfect balance of taste and spiciness, the peanut sauce was amazing. We were here 4 times during 5 days in Ubud. Highly recommended as a great lunch near Monkey Forrest and also for a dinner (great, romantic garden)

The best matcha in town (I have been trying many in many countries, ask for bigger size if you like to get loads of matcha) and good Balinese specialty coffee ! The latte is also super nice with nice smooth taste thanks to medium to dark roasted coffee beans coming from the owner’s family farm. All is about simple but quality products here that comes to the simple perfection.

Its a little cramp in here. Please come by earlier in the mornkng if you wish to pick a comfortable seat. There is a friendly pooch in the cafe that is really loveable. Ordered a large coconut milk coffee with ice and a regular matcha. Matcha is of good quality. However, the coconut milk coffee is average.

I hadn’t planned to visit this coffee place, but I came across it by chance. The coffee turned out to be really delicious!! and I even bought beans from them. The place is very unique and the staff are extremely friendly. I’ll definitely come back again! 100%

We stumbled upon this vintage, laid back, no frill cafe in the quieter side of Ubud. The owner takes great pride in his coffee, and my high expectations were met. He sourced his beans from his farm at Kintamani ✨ the coconut nut milk was icing on top! It was such a treat to enjoy pockets of silence with his lovely 🐕

Our children went to the kids class on a Saturday. Wonderful teachers to help them with their ideas. They were really proud of their creations. Really great that they are allowed a turn on the pottery wheel.

If you want to make your own crockery, this place is perfect for it.

Great 1.5 hour for the children to create whatever they want from clay. Parents observed, some were helping. 😉 It take min 3 weeks to get our creations back burnt. Max 25 children but only first 15 get to have a go on the spinning wheel. Cool experience. Very friendly staff with very good English.

Definitely a MUST visit if you are chocolate lover ! Their hot choco very thick and creamy , there’s a bit of sour taste but surprisingly very good 👍🏻. Their chocolate bar also good , in my opinion, this is the best LOCAL chocolate brand I’ve ever tasted

No joke you HAVE to smell the bathroom at this place. Smells like chocolate and espresso. Best smelling toilet in Bali. Also the chocolate drinks from the cafe were so good and everything was vegan/plant-based (non-vegan reviewing). All of the chocolate is plant-based so perfect for lactose allergies. You can try like 34 flavors of chocolate for free in the cafe and take a factory tour if you want (~45 min, 100k per). The chocolate is really pretty in the packaging and is going to make great gifts. We also got a bunch of the small chocolates (bulk bins, pay per gram) as stocking stuffers for Christmas time. Quick stop, and very worth it.

From the moment we entered, we were impressed by the architecture of the building. The structure itself is modern yet blends beautifully with Bali’s natural charm, and the interiors are equally superb with a stylish, inviting atmosphere. We tried their chocolate and it was truly nice — rich, smooth, and crafted with perfection. The variety on offer caters to different tastes, from dark and intense to creamy and sweet. What stood out was not only the flavor but also the way everything was presented with so much attention to detail. Walking around the space, you could see how thoughtfully the environment had been designed. The layout, the lighting, and even the seating gave the place a very sophisticated yet comfortable vibe. It was not overcrowded, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, Junglegold Chocolate Factory is more than just a place to buy chocolate — it’s an experience worth having in Bali, combining taste, design, and atmosphere seamlessly.

We stopped on a whim and are glad we did! There is a short informative introduction to chocolate making and then on to the tasting. The airconditioned shop also sells choco treats. We filled a gift box and bought some bars.(3 for 199k) We've had chocolate in South America, Switzerland, and Belgium. This was a fair deal and we liked the fact that it is Balinese from start to finish.

This chocolate factory was amazing. Very informative. The staff are very friendly and agile. Very clean. Parking lot is very huge.

The staff inside is great but the person at the reception desk was super rude just because i asked him what does the 100,000 ticket include. And if the rain stops can we see the plantation. Coming from so far to see a factory and buy your chocolates one should expect atleast courteous behaviour from the receptionist. He looked at us also as if we have come for free tasting. Just sad.

10/10 Would highly recommend, big shout out to Bagus who was our tour guide, he was very detailed and helpful with questions and answers and very enthusiastic about the chocolate making process and history. Lots of delicious chocolate to choose from and beautiful packaging, perfect for gifting! 100k RPD for an hour or so tour and interactive chocolate moulding activity. Very flexible with times, I suggest WhatsApp-ing the number on the website to book. Very punctual with responding. We got to taste the cacao bean gel which was delicious. At the end of the tour you have access to the gift shop and cafe which offers a wide range of tasty treats! P.S. Wear bug spray!

Worth the price A little out of the way- but in her home which is lovely. Puspa runs the class, however she only does about 20-30 minutes of explaining and then leaves for her 2nd to teach you. This is fine but not what I paid for. I also opted for a morning class as I wanted to do the market but they moved me to the afternoon - a long with a few others. This seemed like they had 2 little groups am/pm so decided to combine us to make a group of 10 in the afternoon. Not the experience I wanted. In terms of the cooking, you do a little bit and combine with the other guests. Not what I was expecting. At the end it's a buffet, so don't expect loads of food. I imagine it used to be Puspa all the time and it was more individual but it seems like they're running a cost effective model rather than for the customer experience

Such a wonderful experience at Paon Bali Cooking Class! The staff were so friendly and welcoming. We went with five small kids, and everyone was able to join in the preparation and cooking. The food we made was absolutely delicious ! so fresh and full of flavor. Thank you for an amazing experience! 🌿🍲

I really enjoyed this experience. It was held in a beautiful Balinese home with very warm and kind people. The owner explained everything to us in a clear and friendly way, and the whole session felt very genuine and well-prepared. Everything was great. The only reason I didn’t give five stars is because I still want to try a few other cooking classes in Bali, so I cannot compare yet or say for sure if this one is the absolute best. But overall, it was a lovely and memorable experience.

Really great experience and a nice hostess. We got to make several dishes and do most of the cooking ourselves. They had everything prepared and ready so you did not have to wash vegetables or other activity not relevant to learning to make the dish. Also came with free water and a small cookbook to make the dishes at home. Small note i would have loved to buy a full hardcover cookbook if it were available but unfortunately it is not. The kitchen was really clean and they were really attentive to alergies. Even though this would normally not be something I would enjoy doing the timing was great and we got plenty of time to enjoy our food after. Would 100% recommend going here. Especially since the price is really good considering it combines an activity with dinner.

On a nonstop rainy day in Bali, we were desperate to find some indoor activities and this cooking class turned out to be a wonderful surprise! We had no expectations going in, but the experience was fun, well-organized, and just the right length. We learned to cook some of the main Indonesian dishes, and the results were absolutely delicious. A great way to spend the day, rain or shine!

My wife and I had the best experience during our private cooking class. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious! We highly recommend adding this experience to your Bali itinerary!

This cooking course was fantastic from start to finish. The tour of the market gave you a lot of different impressions and you were guided through the local fruits and vegetables, as well as the different spices for the traditional Balinese dishes. When we arrived at the location of the cooking class, we had a welcome drink with wonderful friendly people who let us into their home. The cooking class was a lot of fun, everyone was allowed to cook and everything was explained in detail. The food was absolutely amazing! We received a recipe book at the end. I really recommend this cooking course to everyone.

Really great and friendly place to learn skills which have a strong local and family tie. Dont feel I'd have gotten this good a session if I'd have gone elsewhere. Did metalwork today, will look at the other classes too :) environment accessible and open.

My family did a a woodcarving class and Nyoman was our instructor. He was incredibly patient with the kids and adults! So fun! I felt it taught the children patience, control, as well as skill. We arrived earlier than anticipated because there was no traffic in ubud (gasp!) and Nyoman was kind to come in early as well. There were no link online and I wasn’t sure how to book so I messaged them on whatsapp and was told I could book whichever type of class I wanted and whatever time I wanted as long as I gave 2 hour notice. My youngest is 4 and the recommended age for carving is 6+. Nyoman allowed my 4 year old to do the class and I “helped”. One of the best activities we’ve done so far. Will try a painting class or silver making class next time.

I went for the wood carving and it was really fun. I was taught by Nyoman, who comes from a family of famous Balinese woodcarvers! He travelled around Asia and Australia for the government, teaching and showing Balinese woodcarving. He now teaches here!

I had a silver making workshop and my daughter had a Balinese dance lesson. We absolutely enjoyed it. The instructors indicated us step by step. We will definitely come back again for different workshops!

A peaceful spot in the heart of Ubud that offers more than just a quiet place to read. We joined classes in wood carving, Balinese dance, and gamelan — each one offered a unique and enjoyable hands-on experience of Balinese culture. The local instructors were warm, knowledgeable, and incredibly patient. A beautiful way to connect with the culture beyond sightseeing — definitely a meaningful and memorable part of our trip.

What a great place to visit...cheeky monkeys everywhere, helpful staff. Wander around and interact with the monkeys but hold on to your belongings, they'll pinch them from you if they get a chance....loved it

It’s very small (we spent less than 15 minutes walked the circle in there). The best spot to observe the monkeys are in front of the temple. I also enjoy the spontaneous scene of the staff feeding a monkey.

The Monkey Forest in Bali is definitely worth a visit! The grounds are spacious and beautifully maintained, making it a great place to walk and explore. You’re guaranteed to see plenty of monkeys up close – it’s both fascinating and fun to watch them in their natural habitat. The entrance fee is very affordable, especially for what you get in return. A unique and memorable experience that shouldn’t be missed while in Bali!

The best temple in southern Bali! I cannot believe how gorgeous it is! Would recommend going on a sunny day to get the best out of the whole place! The monkeys are very mischievous and have learned to steal glasses to get rewards from the staff, the staff give them fruit and they return the glasses. We only had a view issues with the monkeys. For the most part it was an amazing experience and by far the most stunning temple visited in Bali.

We didn't go in, just went to the pergola at the end, heaps of monkey's. Dont look in the eye like I did or you'll get snarled at and chased!

Absolutely amazing accommodation right in the heart of Ubud but in its own tranquil space away from the noise. The staff are just the kindest. They couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast was delicious. The rooms are a great size and very clean and comfortable. We will definitely return.

I can not recommend a stay here enough. Our host Tarini was the most beautiful, kind and caring lady who makes the nicest breakfast. She was very accommodating and made sure our stay was enjoyable. The location is great being right in the centre but somehow within the gardens it has its own slice of peace and tranquility. Our room was cleaned everyday and it was such good value for money. If I come back to Bali I would happily stay again.

2 weeks here and it wasn’t enough. This place is absolutely amazing. Beautiful gardens, wonderful swimming pool, statues, paintings, flowers and quite. You just listen birds and nature. The rooms are perfect with everything you need. But the best of the best is Tarini and Julie. They are so welcoming and so so nice. Everyday with a big smile bringing the most delicious breakfast. You can see Tarini doing the offerings to the Gods. It’s beautiful. I highly recommend this place in Ubud, Bali. Just 700 mts from the main road (Palace), it’s absolutely perfect.

Stayed here for 2 weeks and had an amazing stay, such good location only 10 min walk to Main Street and all staff are absolutely amazing. Incredible place! Down a quiet road but not far from the hustle and bustle of ubud. The rooms are lovely and the bed is so comfortable! The breakfast is amazing, could fresh every morning and brought to your balcony. Love it here!

Fabulous hospitality, lush garden with refreshing pool, delicious breakfast. WiFi was very good (allowed zoom calls). Water temperature and pressure was a bit low but air con was good. Felt safe and well looked after.

In August 2019 I found this for my friends and I. I always love doing interactive adventurous things on vacation especially around my birthday. THIS WAS PERFECT, EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS. All the staff was welcoming, loved the welcome song and dance. After that and the appetizers we knew we were in for a DAY! The fellowship from the song and dance with the physical warm up and practice was an EXPERIENCE. Everyone let loose and wasn't afraid to make mistakes. THEN OMG the mud games! I'm a big kid. LOVED IT. From the race to the wrestling, massage, sauna and bath in the river. The dinner after was IMPECCABLE! Omg soooo good. We couldn't stop eating. Homemade, fresh, well seasoned, soo tasty. The warmth was felt. Recommending to all my traveler friends.

The absolute best kindergarten and school in Bali. The teachers are absolutely wonderful and the school is like a community. My daughter loved going here for her schooling, Cheekey monkeys is like sunshine for our family.

When we arrived in Bali for our one year stay, our 5 year old daughter did not speak any English. We decided to enroll her in the Cheeky Monkeys summer program, which was a great decision. In the summer teachers have less kids to take care of and they can dedicate more attention to their pupils. From the first day the staff did an amazing job, to help our child in what is one of the most stressful experiences. Since then through all the year not even once said she doesn't want to go to the Cheeky Monkeys. Thanks to the teachers, our daughter made amazing progress with the language and numeracy. She made a lot of friends from around the world and learned a lot about the rich Balinese Culture. The Cheeky Monkeys has a great homely atmosphere, where kids truly can feel safe and loved. Inner garden offers them a lot of places to play outside. You can bring your own lunch or use the kindergartens catering service. This kindergarten will forever remain as one of our most cherished memories from Bali, thank you so much Cheeky Monkeys.

My 3-year-old son attended Cheeky Monkey for just a month due to visa issues. We were really worried because of the language barrier and the new country and environment. However, to our surprise, the teachers at this school are incredibly kind and loving. It took only two or three days for our son to go from being reluctant to loving the school. Every morning when we dropped him off, he would run to the teachers or hug them voluntarily, something we had never experienced at previous kindergartens. We are truly grateful for this warm and wonderful experience and highly recommend this school to others! Thank you, Ibu Eva and Ibu Nisa!

Excellent facility with staff that truly care about children. When I dropped off my child I always knew he was in good hands. He loved every minute being there and would run into the play area the moment we got to school.

Attended the show on a Wednesday at 7 PM, you can buy tickets at the door - please buy from the ladies right outside, its for the same price (100k) but you help them with a little commission if you buy it from them. The owner is very rude, boorish, yelled, photos in instagram and google do not correspond to reality! On the photo spit all that everything is beautiful, but when you arrive - you will be shocked by the terrible view of what you will see! It is not safe to spend time here! The first time trying Archery and I already managed to aim to target at the end sequences. I got slapped by the bow the first time because i wasn’t paying attention to what Erwin said i should not do😅 When we came it was quiet so it’s like we had the area for ourselves. Erwin is such a good coach. He really explained what are the do’s and don’ts. Sharing some helpful tips and how to really practice archery. We had a great time! Will definitely come back again. Can’t recommend this place more 🤍

The crew from the Bali International Archery Club based in Ubud Bali made one of my lifetime dreams come true. Illias, my instructor and Master of horsebow and I jumped into Mr Angungs chariot, pumped some tunes and headed north up the breathtaking mountains. We chatted and joked along the way as Illias described what we were seeing in his endearing, happy and humorous way. After descending the other side we arrived on the beautiful north coast and after a 20 minute ride to warm up the horses we arrived at the enticing Pemurturan beach, engrossing tourists as we passed. At the secluded range, Illias drilled me on unique horsebow techniques, patiently and attentively reminding me of the finer points until I was galloping along the beach nailing arrows into the target. BLESS UP!

A great place to expand your creativity. The atmosphere is super serene and green. Ideal for families, first or second dates, group activities, tourists, and even as an excursion for those holding retreats. And you get to to take your creations home as souvenirs, or give them away as gifts! The Rusters cafe/restaurant across from the pottery studio has incredible food! I highly recommend going there before or after you make your pottery. On Sundays they have the best organic Farmer's Market, with live music!

I signed up for 10 hour-classes & open studio. The space is just wonderful - welcoming & great to get creative in! I had done pottery before but wanted to refresh my knowledge and learn new tricks. I such great teachers, I actually learnt new techniques & bettered the ones I knew. The staff is very accommodating & welcoming - you can just organise your sessions through whatsapp. I would recommend this pottery studio to anyone who is new to pottery & anyone who wants a lovely space to get creative in. My wife and kids attended a pottery class there for the first time, and the least I can say is that they loved the experience! Instructor was great with kids. The item trade at the end was amazing, allowing them to leave with a piece of finished pottery .

Went to this pottery class on early 2024, it was fun even though the class was short, paid extra to have both of my pottery to be fired and glazed, they promised that itd be shipped to me in one or two month, yet now in 2025, they never sent it to me or even attempted to contact me (i left them my whatsapp phone number since they asked for it in case my potteries are ready) felt like my money was wasted, i would rather go somewhere next time with more varieties and better communications

The staff at Bali Hai Bike was great to work with. Kadek & Wayan had every detail covered. The route is amazing, riding through the bamboo forest is once in a lifetime opportunity, unforgettable!!! The stopping points are all on Bali's must see list. Their bikes are all new and top quality and their guides were knowledgeable and friendly as well. A+ grades on every aspect of their spectacular rides! Highly recommended.

“Safety Conscious” Although this tour is a bit more expensive than some of the others I was really impressed with the care taken in regard to the safety of the riders. There were two guides, one in the front and one in the back, at all times. The driver went ahead and at any more major road crossing there were TWO employees of the company holding the traffic so it was safe to cross the road. How impressive is that! I was by far the oldest bike rider on the trip, I am 57, and although I am quite fit I am not a regular bike rider, but I felt well catered for and looked after. Thank you for a magic day!

This zoo is a hidden gem. Tucked away from the road it was a lovely surprise. They have a wide range of birds and animals, many out of cages. This place is perfect for children and adults alike. Not wheelchair friendly, unfortunately.

Great interactive mini zoo where we could hold some animals which was included in entry fee. Could have paid extra for more special interactions but my kids were happy with the 8 or so they hot to hold and have pics with! Cafe at the end which you get a free drink with ticket. Even had a kids playground!

Really cool place with all sorts of amazing animals, a lot of which you can hold. Food at the resturant was decent and well-priced too. Id highly recommend this over the zoo or the safari park. My only suggestion to management: After experiencing the main park and seeing how great it was I would have happily paid the extra for the 'special encounter'. The fact that I would have had to pay an extra premium due to not committing when I bought the initial ticket is what put me off.

Amazing hidden gem located close to Bali Bird Park. You can get up close with some amazing creatures and hold and feed a select few. The handlers are super attentive and clearly love their work. A definite highlight for your trip to Bali! Get there early to avoid the crowds, we has the animals to ourselves for the first half hour.

Very small with mainly birds and reptiles. Very affordable entry price. Great little cafe at the end with delicious food, and it overlooks the rice fields so great view while you eat.

This is a private zoo—super small, and there aren’t many animals. Tickets are around 20 Aussie dollars. It’s located in a countryside area. But the main thing is, the interaction time is long and there are tons of animals you can interact with, so you end up staying a while and it feels worth the price. Half the people there are Chinese, half are Westerners. You can grab a Coke at the exit with your ticket stub!

This is a must visit in Bali . Words and pictures are useless. You can play with the aninals like snakes , awls , tarantulas and many more animals.
