The Turtle Conservation and Education Center, established in 2006 by Dr. Dewa Beratha, is a prominent turtle conservation initiative in Bali. Spanning 24 hectares, the center focuses on rehabilitating turtles and raising awareness about the preservation of these creatures. It has played a crucial role in putting an end to illegal activities such as trading turtle products in Indonesia. Visitors can participate in guided tours to learn about turtle care and release mature turtles back into the ocean.
Free to enter, they take donations at the end. Chose visiting this over another with 5k reviews that people complain about for charging really high. Short walk through their facility, from small tortoises, mid size, and one really big disabled one. Also turtles outside that kids loved feeding. Noticed people typically donate 100-200k. Definitely give this place a visit and contribute to a good cause.
EdwardInTX — Google review
Free to enter the facility, only need to make a donation at the end of the amount you want to pay. However if you choose to take a baby turtle for release into ocean it is 150k per turtle and then 80k per person for the boat ride. Sad to see some turtles are in smaller pools than they need, some turtles are very big for the size of the pool and they just swimming against the walls trying to get out. There are lots of eggs that get hatched daily. In the pool of the baby turtles a fair few amount of them appear to be dead, but I guess that’s normal for nature, not everything can survive after being hatched. Not able to order grab or gojek from this location, so make sure your return trip for a taxi is already organised.
Luke — Google review
WARNING: TAXI SCAM. THERE WILL BE A BUNCH OF SUS-LOOKING TAXIS WAITING OUTSIDE. THEY WILL TELL YOU THAT NO CARS ARE ALLOWED TO GO IN AND THEY WILL OVERCHARGE YOU IF YOU ACCEPT THEIR SERVICES. If you want to book a taxi online, you need to walk at least 2km away from this location. Overall, I love the experience! We get to release the turtle and we had a volunteer doing a tour guide for us. They explained everything in detail which made the whole experience even better. Releasing the turtle was 250k IDR in total; 80k for boat ride (one time charge per person) and 150k for the turtle. You can opt only for boat ride. You will also get an adoption certificate if you release a turtle, which is super cute! Everything was super fun and great, except the bunch of taxis waiting outside who tried to scam us. Please be aware.
Lily Y — Google review
Visiting the Turtle Conservation and Education Center in Bali was an eye-opening and deeply meaningful experience. Located away from the busier tourist areas, it offers a chance to connect with one of nature’s most fascinating creatures while also supporting an important cause. The center focuses on the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of sea turtles, and from the moment you step in, you sense the genuine passion and dedication of the people working there. The educational aspect was especially impressive. Staff took the time to explain the different stages of a turtle’s life, the challenges they face from pollution and poaching, and the role conservation efforts play in their survival. Seeing the hatchlings was a highlight – tiny, fragile, and full of life. Holding them, even for a brief moment, made the entire visit feel very personal and impactful. The facility itself is modest but authentic, clearly prioritizing the well-being of the turtles over aesthetics. There’s also the opportunity to participate in releases, sending young turtles back into the ocean – an emotional and memorable experience that leaves you with a real sense of contribution. Overall, the visit was both educational and inspiring. It’s not just a tourist stop, but a reminder of the responsibility we all share in protecting marine life. A must-visit in Bali for anyone who values nature and conservation.
Shugi K — Google review
The place is quite small, and you’ll only see a few turtles, but it’s a meaningful and heartwarming experience. A guide will show you around, and the payment is donation-based, which makes it accessible and feels genuinely community-driven. If you’re lucky enough to visit on a hatch day, you might have the chance to “adopt” a baby turtle, take a short boat ride, and release it into the ocean. It’s a truly magical moment—especially for kids. Afterward, they’ll wait for your return and print a personalized certificate with the name you’ve chosen for your turtle. It’s a fabulous and touching experience, and I truly hope the funds collected continue to support their important work. Make sure to contact them ahead of your visit as they might not have turtles ready yet. Also not there are no taxis there so make arrangements for drop off and pick up.
Riham — Google review
This place was AMAZING. The staff is so knowledgeable and they are taking such good care of the injured turtles. Releasing a baby sea turtle into the wild was so special. My kids loved every second we spent there.
Hannah T — Google review
Highly highly recommended making the trip to visit the conservation centre. It’s small but the volunteers there take the time to explain everything to you, you can see all the rescued turtles with injuries and the babies which have hatched from rescued eggs. The release of a turtle costs 230k per person and it’s truly a heartwarming experience. It really is not a lot to donate (especially us folks coming from high income countries) and you can see the money goes to good use. (Can donate via PayPal or card). There’s no touching of turtles or anything for money making schemes as other parks. To all the comments about the enclosures being too small//not clean enough- please remember that this is Indonesia and run by charity/volunteers. There’s no endless supply of funds to improve it and they do the best they can. Many of the turtles are sick and missing limbs so of course they are not moving around a lot 🤦🏼‍♀️otherwise they would be back in the sea.
Olivia K — Google review
This volunteer operation deserves a visit and if you are early, you might even be able to help setting a baby turtle free #magical. The site is limited as it is run by volunteers, but well kept, the turtles receive medical care, (keep in mind they are wild and must remain wild, it's no fan y petting zoo for Instagram posts) and they take time to explain what they do an what to see. We loved it! And above all it's free, so please donate or adopt a turtle!

Art Museums
The Bali Museum, located in the heart of Denpasar city, offers a rich display of Balinese art and history. The museum's compound is adjacent to the Jagatnatha Temple and close to the Puputan Badung field, making it easily accessible for visitors. Inside, visitors can explore traditional courtyards and discover a diverse collection of artifacts.
The museum pieces are lovely and the buildings in which they are housed are museum pieces themselves, the grounds are clean and well maintained
Nyron H — Google review
Beautiful buildings and grounds, with some interesting displays tracing the history of Bali. Not very big so don’t rush through.
Ray T — Google review
I was very excited to see that there was a museum nearby our home stay, because I love to learn about history and culture. Safe to say this was kind of a let down. Having to pay 100k per person doesn’t seem so bad, but immediately after you pay there will be other people that try to become your guide for another 100k. Which seems kind of weird. Especially since their English left something to be desired. I read online that you would learn about the history of Bali and while it isn’t exactly untrue, there was no silver lining or a sort of “story” you could follow along. It was just bits and fragments from different periods crammed together without much text to learn what these things actually mean. And the texts that were there had lots of grammatical errors, though those errors weren’t that big of an issue. The area and temples you enter and walk through were arguably more interesting than the actual exhibit. I was able to get some nice pictures! Overall as something I was looking forward to doing during my visit in Indonesia it fell short of what I had hoped, that being said. It was a nice change of pace of all the tourism and crowded areas since there was no waiting time and not a lot of visitors.
Stan R — Google review
This so-called museum is seriously overpriced for foreigners, terribly maintained and managed. As a foreigner, you're charged 100k for entrance, but the place is smaller than a football field, with three poorly presented small exhibitions. Many of the exhibits are missing and exhibition boards in shambles. They charge foreigners so much money, yet the English introductions are barely readable. This museum is part of a larger temple complex. You can visit the other part, but as many temples in Indonesia, you need to pay for a sarong and haggle with the guy at the door. This can be quite annoying and a deal breaker for many people. So I reckon just don't go, you don't have to go there in order to see good temples buildings. The place has two entrances, one for tourists, the other for staff. But the one for staff is not guarded at all, which means anyone can just waltz right in and enter the museum grounds without paying! All in all, not recommended at all, and you won't be missing much either.
Leon L — Google review
A must go place and you will learn a lot about Bali history, rituals tradition etc. 100k per person entrance and another 100k perperson for the tour guide (i think was not necessary but, he presents him self) but for more information i recommend to have one you can ask a lot questions about Bali culture and he explains a lot. A person selling paints and tradional bali calendar or book make sure to bargain starting price is high. All in all we learned a lot about Bali culture and history highly recommended and our Driver said not much people are interested to check the museum probably also due to traffic but nevertheless its a recommended place.
Maita G — Google review
It is a good museum but only got four stars because it's not a great museum. The big draw is the architecture of the buildings, as the displays in the four buildings are actually quite minimal. I'm glad I went and would recommend going, but it is not extensive.
Jan S — Google review
Really good place to visit if you are really interested in learning about other countries culture. Not much commercial activities, peacefully you can learn about Balinese culture
Raghavendra M — Google review
Bali museum is 100,000 Rupiah for adults. The temple before this skip it as the dude trying to get you in will charge you to put on the skirt as he explains the god relief sculpture with very little knowledge. He charged us 40 000 rupiah for the clothing then another 100,000 to hear his basic knowledge of his own religion. This is a scam , avoid them and tell them no . If they heckle you just walk away. Lots of scammers, lots of better things to do in Bali. The u Museum is worth taking a look but avoid the rest. It is not worth the time or money they will ask. You would think people who dedicated their lives to these gods would have answers to basic questions. But naw. Seems like they should pray to their God of knowledge for more intelligence.

Amusement park ride
Waterbom Bali is a sprawling water park spanning 3.8 hectares, offering an array of rides and attractions suitable for all ages. It's a top family-friendly destination in Kuta, Bali. The park features exhilarating water slides, games, gardens, pools, and the steepest waterslide in Asia called The Climax. Visitors can also enjoy the Lazy River, Funtastic, Twin Racers, Fast N Fierce, Smashdown and more.
We had an amazing day at Waterbom Bali with the whole family—my wife, our kids, and lots of laughter all around! From the moment we walked in, the place just felt like a tropical paradise built for fun. What stood out most was how family-friendly it is. Nearly every ride is suitable for kids, and our little ones had the time of their lives zooming down slides and splashing in the pools. It’s perfect whether you're an adrenaline junkie or just in it for the chill, splashy moments with the kids. The waiting times weren’t bad at all. Sure, there's a bit of a queue now and then, but nothing that kills the vibe. The staff were friendly and efficient, which made the whole experience smoother. Oh—and the food! ⭐ Absolutely top-notch. We weren’t expecting gourmet-level quality at a waterpark, but we were pleasantly surprised. The drinks were refreshing and well-crafted too—perfect for a sunny Bali day. It’s definitely not the cheapest day out. If you’re planning to spend the whole day, grab lunch, sip a few drinks, and maybe take home a couple of those fun printed photos, expect to spend over $200 USD. But honestly, worth every penny. We didn’t even manage to finish all the rides—there are about 12 in total, and we still have four more to conquer. So yes, we’re definitely coming back for round two!
Hammam M — Google review
One of the highlights of my trip to Bali! The many rides vary in speed & thrill and there is a great mix of group & single rides. The park was so clean, well-maintained & had amazing food & beverage options. The staff were all so friendly and FUN! They made jokes with us and eased our tension when we got a little nervous. The Climax is the best ride to go on hands down! Also, the way in which the wrist band worked for paying & to get photos is so clever & user-friendly. The only complaint I have is that the photos were only available in print & not digitally. And the photos were really expensive. It wasn’t worth it for me getting print - so here’s hoping they see my review & offer digital photos! I would have loved to keep those for memories.

Waterbom Bali = 10/10 🌊✨ I recently visited Waterbom Bali, and I have to say it’s one of the best waterparks I’ve ever been to. The park offers a wide variety of attractions, from thrilling slides to relaxing areas, with different zones designed to suit all ages and preferences. The facilities are excellent, very well-organized, and spotless, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The staff and team members were friendly, helpful, and made everything easy. Overall, I highly recommend visiting—whether you’re with family, friends, or just looking for a fun day out.
MrLinkiado — Google review
A great aqua park with the Bali jungle theme. I knew why it's one of the top ranked parks worldwide. Although the place is not huge, it has all the facilities, food, lockers & showers with high quality. Very well organized. All rides are suitable for family except one or 2 which are super extreme. The working crew is very helpful. No food is allowed inside.
Mohammed E — Google review
Family fun! This place is everything it says and more. Our family LOVED our day here. The facilities are so well maintained. The bathrooms are spotless! Lots of options for food, drinks and snacks. And well priced. Last river was our favourite.
Sasha C — Google review
Awesome day out. Very clean, safe and friendly. Queuing was not a problem - just go for the rides with small queues and save the popular ones for lunchtime or the end of the day. Place was pretty much empty by 5pm. My boy had an absolute blast!
Toby B — Google review
For me, this place keeps a lot of memories. I came here once as a child with my family, even though I don’t remember much. The place is really fun! I forgot about work and just enjoyed the whole day. I lost count of how many times I went around the lazy river 😂 The staff are kind, helpful, and also very funny! The place is clean and the food is good. Highly recommended for families, but it’s better to come on weekdays so it’s not too crowded.
Trisha — Google review
One of the best water parks in the world. Very fun, I can not explain how beautiful it is. Everyone from the staff is so friendly, helpful and smiling all the time. The food was so delicious. You don’t want to miss. Perfect to the last detail. Highly suggesting it for time with partner, family and friends.

Sanur is a charming resort town on the east coast of Bali, known for its colorful fishing boats, galleries, restaurants, and an old temple. Once a fishing village, it has retained its local charm and friendliness while offering a beach resort atmosphere with hotels, resorts, restaurants, bars, shops, and entertainment venues. Despite not being technically in Denpasar, it's just a 15-minute drive away.
The beach is clean as it has cleaners, every day the pedestrian and sand beach are cleaned of trash along the shoreline. If you walk on the pedestrian, you may see some photographers who will take pictures of you. If you feel shy about being photographed, just ignore it. But if you want to see the result, you can see it in the Fotoyu application that you can download in Playstore. Anyway, this place is suitable for you who want to run, swim, cycle, or just enjoy the sunrise. Oh yes you can try eating food there, I recommend eating Ote-ote and Lumpia
Ahmad H — Google review
Good beaches in the islands of Bali areas. I like for walking beside beaches front and enjoying nature environments and local foods.
Chris C — Google review
Not the most attractive beach to be honest and very dirty in places. Plenty of resorts along the beach where you can go to the pools(for a fee). Plenty of food outlets across the whole spectrum of quality (😂) and a massive shopping mall along the boardwalk. Extremely tourist oriented and very busy.
Harry H — Google review
This beach is filled with tourists, yet the ambiance feels relaxed and calm. Biked with my son along the path. Shops, food stalls around, Icon Mall Bali is here as well. (End of July 2025)
Antonio C — Google review
Sanur Beach is hands down my favorite sunrise spot in Bali. The vibe here is so much more relaxed compared to the busier southern beaches. I love how the golden morning light hits the traditional jukung fishing boats lined up along the shore - it's absolutely magical. What makes it 5-star worthy: - The calm turquoise waters are perfect for swimming (no crazy waves here) - The 5km paved beach walk is ideal for morning jogs or bike rides - Local warungs serve amazing nasi campur right on the sand - Less crowded than Kuta/Seminyak but still has great amenities - Stunning sunrise views over Nusa Penida on clear days Don't miss: ✓ Breakfast at one of the beachfront cafes ✓ Renting a bike to explore the coastline ✓ The Sunday morning market when it's on Pro tips: 1. Arrive by 5:30am for prime sunrise viewing 2. Bring small cash for fresh coconut vendors 3. Water shoes help with some rocky sections Sanur proves you don't need wild parties to have an amazing beach experience. The peaceful atmosphere, gorgeous views, and local charm make it my top-rated beach in Bali. Perfect for families, couples, or anyone needing a tranquil escape!
Rizky R — Google review
I think this beach was alternative for those who didn't really like crowds It wasn't so crowd like kita There were many cafes for drinking coffe or eating snacks Not so far from that, there is a mosque there If you stay at Prime Hotel, this beach is the nearest
Luthfil L — Google review
You can enter just by paying a parking fee of 3,000 IDR. It's a favorite spot for jogging and cycling along the beach. There are also many cafes here with a wide selection of food. This is one of the best spots for sunrise.

Nestled in the village of Batubulan, Bali Bird Park is a haven for bird enthusiasts. Spanning 2 hectares, it features over 1000 exotic birds and around 250 reptile species, including the renowned Komodo dragon. Visitors can enjoy captivating bird shows, feedings, and displays while taking leisurely strolls through the park's lush surroundings.
One of the most beautiful parks I have ever seen! Birds are well-treated and safely supervised by the staff. Some of them are free to run around the park and are extremely lovely. You can see that here the animals are respected with good care. The only thing, I recommend to buy the tickets online because you will be able to save more money than at the desk! But in any case, 2000% recommend visiting! And please remember to not touch (if not allowed by the staff) and respect all the birds in the park.

📍 Bali Bird Park Review The Bali Bird Park is absolutely one of my favorite experiences in Bali—so much so that I’m already planning to come back next time I visit! I was so excited about this place. Out of everything I’ve done here, this stood out the most. I didn’t just like it—I insanely loved it! The variety of birds is stunning, and the staff do a great job presenting them in a way that feels engaging without being overwhelming. The grounds are lush and beautifully maintained, and the interactive bird shows are a real highlight—you get to see the birds up close in action. What really blew me away was how incredibly interactive and friendly the birds are. I thought I’d spend maybe 2 or 3 hours here, but I could have stayed all day. Every moment was a new adventure—looking, playing, and feeding the birds. It felt less like visiting a park and more like being part of a living, magical conversation with nature. There are even flocks of flamingos and hens roaming around freely, which feels surreal and delightful, like they’ve casually decided to join your walk. Alongside them, the park has well-kept aviaries that house other species in lush little habitats, giving you a mix of spontaneous encounters and curated beauty. One thing I’d skip next time is the lunch package—the food wasn’t very special, and meanwhile, everyone else was enjoying the birds. Better to eat outside so you don’t miss any of the magic inside. If you love animals, colors, and joy, the Bali Bird Park is pure wonder. I can’t recommend it enough—and I absolutely can’t wait to return.
Vikki L — Google review
The most gorgeous and interesting birds! The park itself is lovely. The landscaping and enclosures looked great. The information presentations were very engaging and fun. They let you feed some of the birds, you can have pictures holding the birds. I was impressed with the food at the restaurant- we ordered a la carte, and we had nasi goreng, spaghetti carbonara and spaghetti bolognese. The kids loved their pastas, and the nasi was delicious. Oh! Also we got spring rolls which were absolutely perfect. The toilets at the park were like fancy hotel toilets; with air conditioning and very clean and well maintained cubicles. Impressive for Bali! We had a wonderful, fun, educational day. Loved it!
Jo O — Google review
Great park friendly staff and plenty to see. We had to do a quick tour due to other commitments but really enjoyed the hour we were there. They even have a couple of kamodo dragons as well. They do daily feeding sessions with some of the animals and you can hold the parrots for a nice picture. Set in beautiful grounds give it a go you will enjoy
Davo P — Google review
It was an awesome experience for the whole family! The kids even got to feed the birds – really fun and interesting. I never got the feeling that the animals aren’t well taken care of; everything looks clean and nicely maintained. The restaurant was great too, delicious food! We’d love to come back.
Stefan S — Google review
This was such a fun and full day out with my toddler! She and I both loved it. The staff are incredible, the grounds and enclosures are stunning, and there are several opportunities to ‘interact’ with birds as well as see special ‘shows’. The ticket is a bit expensive, but overall with it. The food though is not great, so bring your own picnic (and water !!! As water is 42,000 for a bottle)
Athena C — Google review
Worth it! First off, you’ll get to see an amazing variety of tropical birds. Big ones! Colorful ones! You can even hold them!! The shows throughout the day get you very up close and personal with the birds. The Komodo dragons were an unexpected bonus. Got to watch them eat!
Calvin S — Google review
A wonderful experience! The Bali Bird Park is a true 5-star gem. The birds are absolutely beautiful and the recreated natural habitat is stunning. A must-see for all nature and bird lovers. You can get up close and personal with many species, making it a very special and unforgettable visit.

Big Garden Corner in Denpasar is a must-visit for nature lovers. The beautifully landscaped sculpture garden features a diverse collection of stone sculptures set amidst lush green grass and vibrant blossoms. Visitors can relax at the on-site restaurant offering traditional Balinese cuisine. Families can enjoy various recreational activities, including a playground and a butterfly garden. This tranquil oasis offers shaded walkways lined with tropical plants, life-size representations of Hindu gods, and Balinese icons like Barong and Rangda.
Stumbled upon this spot while looking to fill the day—and what a surprise it turned out to be! We hired a private driver and spent around 1.5 hours soaking up the charm of this tucked-away treasure. The gardens are lush and dreamy, dotted with interactive sculptures that practically beg for a photo-op: sit inside a bird’s nest, swing in a twiggy heart chair, or brave the hanging nest chair hovering over the water—if you’re feeling bold! Staff were friendly, and the place has a few toilets (always a win). Entry was 150K IDR and included a tasting of honey and three tea/coffee samples. The honey, from tiny Sumatran bees, was tangy and runny—very different from what you’d expect from bumblebee honey. The lady was so kind and even offered us two tastes, which felt really generous. Tea and coffee tastings came in dainty espresso-sized cups. I tried Bali cocoa, coconut coffee, and vanilla coffee—the vanilla was my fave, smooth and fragrant. Extra delights? You can hold a snake or lizard with a donation box nearby (pay what you wish), and there’s a small water park plus a climbable treehouse for the kids. It doesn’t pop up often on the usual tourist trail, but it should. I absolutely recommend it for a gentle adventure with pockets of play and nature.

It is a beautiful and peaceful park to go for a walk through. When we arrived they told us the splash park was closed (wasn’t on the website) We decided to still do it. There are some beautiful statues along the way you can get pics in or next too. There was heaps of mosquitoes we all had patch’s and spray on. We had a large family so took 2 prams, it was extremely hard to push with the rocks would recommend a carrier. Our ticket included honey tasting. We thought it would have been more than 1 tasting/spoon however it wasn’t. Overall was a nice park.

Beautiful place to visit we were there for an hour but could of stayed a lot longer. Gardens are full of beautiful statues etc and have an animal interaction. There was a group of kids absolutely loving it while we were there.

A great spot for a quiet and beautiful wander around some beautiful gardens with some fun sculptures, small water park and playground for the kids. We also got to interact with some reptiles. The kids enjoyed it a lot and I would say a must visit if you are in sanur.

A great place to just walk through if you want a chilled out day. There's a water park great for the kids. Some great places through out to take some really good photos. On the pricey end for something your just walking through, but worth it if your taking the kids for the water area.
Danny H — Google review
Lots to see and has a great splash park area for the kids to cool off in. Don't forget your bug spray as being a garden with water areas there are a lot of mosquito's. Worth the visit

A must try seafood dishes. Seafood Corner, just in the right side of the Big Garden entrance gate. Width parking, aircond room, as well as out door tables. Welldone grill kerapu fish and more. Fresh, great taste, nice serving.
Ida P — Google review
The place was not busy when i visited. Beautifully landscaped gardens. Perfect for a quiet stroll or hanging out with friends and family. I went there randomly and I didn't know that the ticket comes with free drinks and honey tasting. Sounds exciting but it's so sad I was not able to experience that. I just accidentally read it while writing this review. Nobody told me at the ticketing booth. No one bothered to explain what's included. She just processed my payment and handed me the receipt. So I thought it's just the admission fee. There are some spots that seemed neglected and needed attention. Entrance fee was quite expensive at 150,000 Rupiahs. 1 to 2 hours would be enough to go around the area.

Bali Wake Park is a unique waterpark located in Denpasar, Bali. It features a 5-hectare lake where visitors can take wakeboarding courses and enjoy activities such as AquaLand, knee boarding, water skiing, and cable park experiences. The park also offers accommodations at the Bunkhouse for those who want to extend their stay. Additionally, guests can relax at the infinity pool with a bar or visit the eatery and pro shop on-site.
The place is great fun. My boys (teenagers) really enjoy it. If you are local, make sure u ask for the local price. They allow us to try 1 hour first then upgrade to full day later. The speed start with slow (for beginners) for 1 hour, then fast the next hour and alternate the whole day. Gives you rest in between which you will need! From not able to do at all to being able to do it each time, even with the proper wooden board. The staff very friendly and keep helping them until they are able to do so. Even us waiting for them, get wifi n can stay in the pool. Seen others sun bathing. The only thing is the place need a up lift. Other than that, a great day to spend with family.
Arin M — Google review
What a great day. Kids had a ball on the cables at the wake park. I think it's probably an activity for 10yo+. The instructors were good and helped get them going. I've read reviews the equipment is old, hey, it works fine and keeps the price down. It's not meant to be Olympic level. I was pleasantly surprised all 3 of my kids aged 11,12 and 14 all kneeboarded their first go. The wakeboarding would probably take another session, but we could have stayed if we wanted. The inflatable area was fine, not brilliant, but good enough to entertain them while we waited for our turn on the cables. Will definitely come back.

Bali Wake Park is an awesome place for adventure and fun! Whether you’re a beginner or already love wakeboarding, the staff are super helpful and make the whole experience exciting and safe. The park is well maintained, and the vibe is energetic but still relaxed. There’s also an amazing aqua park on the water, perfect for kids and adults to jump, slide, and laugh together. After all the action, you can chill at the poolside café with good food and cold drinks. Definitely one of the most fun spots in Bali for water lovers!
Edward B — Google review
Me and my friends all love this place. for aqualand going in big groups makes so much fun for all ages. bigger groups are better than smaller. the wakeboarding is accessible for all ages as younger more inexperienced people can use the kneel boards and more skilled ppl can try different boards. make sure if your indonesian or local you ask for the local alternative price.

Honestly this place is underrated for what they have to offer. Great for kids and family day trips. Pool bar is amazing and the bar has variety of Indonesian food and western. Definitely a must visit place while in Bali.

Seriously great fun, seriously sore arms (compiling a list that over 60's shouldn't do) What an excellent and fun day, our 9 year old had a great time, I had a great time. You can opt for certain hours (I picked the slow 25kph) as experienced in snowboarding not wakeboarding. The whole Park is well set out, offers meals at good prices, beers and drinks, shop for wakeboarding gear and swim wear. Infinity pool, observation decks, buggy that does laps to pick up the over ambitious ( anyone who doesn't make the turns) Good jumps and obstacles and good help from friendly staff. Makes for a great day. Scores a major 10/10
Graeme B — Google review
We were looking to try wakeboarding and could only find this close to the area where we were staying. Ticketing entrance fee is required, and for the price and time, I think it's rather worth it. There are fast and slow cable pull timings, so beginners are advised to get the slow timings. We came in the morning so the crowd levels were very low and the weather was nice. Beginners are encouraged to try the knee boards first, followed by the wake boards just to get used to the obstacles. Having to go through the red bouy markers was quite fun already. But for advanced wake boarders, the obstacle courses seem quite fun. My hands & biceps really hurt after a while because I have a bad grip and no upper body strength, but boy, was it fun! There is a cafe and a souvenir shop here as well. The cafe serves some nibbles and coffee at 40K for ice latte. Would recommend getting your coffee fixed elsewhere, though. Saw someone got injured, right before our very eyes, and I'm comforted by how swiftly the crew acted. Apparently, the boarder landed incorrectly and hurt himself. His friend called for help and a troop of at least 6 workers came running to him with first aid kits and a water stretcher, each doing what they can to assist with the situation 😊 Hope he is ok now

Good place to spend time on Bali. Wake park itself is good. Staff is friendly and nice. Rent can be better. Helms are rubbish( one star off) its not safe to use it. Also water castle needs to be improved: low pressure in some pieces, also need to be cleaned out.

Bali Zoo, situated in the cultural Gianyar Regency, is a large zoo that offers a unique experience as the only Balinese-owned private zoo on the island. It opened in 2002 and is licensed by the Ministry of Forestry and government conservation institute. The zoo spans 12 acres and features a variety of animals including orangutans, elephants, African lions, and more. Visitors can enjoy interactive encounters with the animals as well as shows during their visit.
Bali Zoo was such a wonderful experience for our family! 🦓🦒🐘 The zoo is very clean, well-organized, and beautifully designed with lots of greenery. We loved how close we could get to the animals — feeding elephants and deer was a highlight for the kids! The staff were friendly and always ready to help, making the whole visit smooth and enjoyable. There are also plenty of shows and interactive programs, so it’s not just about walking around but really engaging with the animals. We also enjoyed the cafes and resting areas inside, which made the visit even more comfortable. Overall, Bali Zoo is a great place to spend a half or full day, especially for families with children. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Bali! 🌴✨

We visited Balizoo on the 2/10/25. This was a wonderful all day experience. The open spaces for the animals gives reassurance that they are well cared for. Each animal having their own story told via the zoo wardens. We fed and rode the elephants, being able to get up close and personal with them was a great experience.Rahning and Adi were our guides for the Behind Closed Doors tour. Both are very good communicators, are knowledgeable about the individual animals, their back stories… Both Rahning and Adi were very engaging, confident and reassuring, they both enriched our experience at Balizoo. Thank you to everyone at Balizoo for making a wonderful experience for us.🫶

I really enjoyed my time here. I went around midday on a Wednesday and there were very few people there. They had large roped areas for lines for tickets and the shuttle - however I never had to line up. Everything was smooth. I thought it would be super hot, but they’ve done a great job with shaded footpaths. The grounds are beautifully landscaped. All the enclosures felt well cared for and clean. A highlight for me was feeding the Lemurs! For 200k you could feed them. They had someone who could take photos of you using your own phone (great for me as I was alone). I wish they had a clear schedule for feeding times so you know when they are doing it. I just happened to show up at the right time There are plenty of food options with both restaurants and snack shops.

We had so much fun at the Bali Zoo! We purchased the combo package that included the Elephant Expedition and the Behind Closed Doors tour. It was wonderfully organized and we have memories to last us a lifetime! Our guides Rahning and Angga were amazing 🤩. They were very informative, funny, and interactive with the people on the tour. They separated the tour into small groups so you weren’t on it with too many people. It worked out great! We even got to go to the tiger and lion cages to feed them food! 😱 this is a must-do when visiting Bali, 10/10 recommend!

We had an amazing day at Bali Zoo. The place is spacious, clean, and beautifully designed with lots of greenery. The animals look well taken care of and the enclosures are well maintained. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. We especially loved the animal encounters – feeding the elephants and deer was such a fun experience. Perfect place to visit with kids, very educational and enjoyable. Definitely worth a visit when in Bali!

I absolutely loved the Bali Zoo! It was an experience unlike any other that I have ever had and I have been going to the zoo since I was a kid. I’ve been to the zoo in California, Amsterdam, New Jersey, And other places and this was one the more intimate and beautiful experiences that I can say that I’ve had. I can tell that the people really care for the animals. They are about preserving the species that are endangered and educating people about the animals. I might end up going back before I finish my stay if not I hope these picture ls and videos encourage others to go. I did the Behind Closed Doors experience which allows you to have a light lunch, visit the zoo and then experience the behind the scenes safari where you can feed the lions, tiger, elephants, ostrich, and several other animals and learn about the operations of the zoo and the animals. They use positive reinforcement at the zoo which I also liked and makes me happy as an animal lover and lover of nature and living things. I’m giving this experience and destination 5 stars for the zoo and staff not for the life lunch provided lol that’s all I will say there. They are a zoo not a 5 star restaurant but where there is Bintang beer in Bali I’m happy 🤷🏾‍♀️🫶🏾🙌🏾❤️😍

We had a great time at Bali Zoo! The place is clean, well kept, and surrounded by beautiful greenery. The highlight was definitely feeding the deer and elephants such a fun and memorable experience. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside is that the entrance package feels a bit overpriced for what’s included.

Circus Waterpark Kuta is a popular family-friendly water park located in the village of Tuban, Bali. It offers a variety of attractions including high-speed slides, tube rides, a lazy river, and pools for small kids. The park features Wave Slider, Kiddy Pool, Lazy River, Olympic Pool, Speed Tube Spiral, Spiral Journey, Speed Racing and more.
It was a good time for everyone, we went there early midweek and it was very quiet. It appears to be well maintained and safe which is very important, I don't really care if looks is a bit scuffed and old looking.
Alit M — Google review
Great outdoor waterpark for kids having fun in a quite small area. Lap pool, various slides, open space garden with surrounded by coconut trees. Equipped with enough amenities and supporting facilities such as locker, gazebo, food court, shower, internet corner, and lounge. Water is never clear in spite of regular maintenance. It's always foggy and sometimes little green. Signs of lack of proper water treatment. Price is considered cheap even to local people.

Took my 3 and 6 yo kids here. They're having fun. But food here were far from what they offer from catalogue pic. Taste alright, small portion for the price we pay.. but overall it's fine as long as my kids happy and had a great day..

The park is amazing if they can maintain the water cleanliness. Facilities- kids zone is great. Food court not enough time to try. Staff is excellent
Cipta N — Google review
Had a reasonable experience. The park is definitely a budget version of Waterbom. You must pay each time you want to open your locker, and all the extras are charged for (towels, lockers, sun chairs etc.) We ended up putting our stuff in the food court as there is no other free seating. Half the slides are good, half don't have enough water so it becomes a game of shuffling along, great if you have a sense of humour, but not something I'd recommend to my friends. The safety is lacking compared to Waterbom; the maintenance hatch was open all day (a porthole with a 3 metre drop; no safety barracade) and heights of children are ignored for safety (can be good or bad depending on your views). Deafening music was blasted for the first half an hour which almost made us leave, but then the DJ changed and it became far more pleasant. My children (1 and 4) did have a great time and want to go back, so it was a good day, but I don't think I would recommend this to others given the current state of the place, both from a safety and management point of view.
Bjorn ( — Google review
No safety standards on the "slides". Only 2 lifeguards present on sunday morning where there's tons of family with little kids visiting. "Slides" doesn't have enough water so it doesn't really slides. Slippery pathways because of mold. Not enough attractions for the price of admission. There's not even enough floaties for everyone

For our two year old, coming here was a break from routine that he needed (he got bored by the pool)! Toys, slides, cars kept him entertained for hours; we'll be back. Air-conditioned, reasonable prices in cafe and coffee was pretty good for the grown ups! The staff were able to give us a break, but it's so open you can easily supervise from the cafe area whilst reading a book. Totally recommended! Bring socks.

Spacious. Lots of toys for every age and style. Aircon area with indoor toys and outdoor area (fully shaded) with slides and climb structure. The big plus, an F&B outlet for the parents. Good place to entertain the kids during the harsh sunny hours of the day. CC accepted. Socks mandatory, but you can buy if you forgot to bring.

This is a lovely beach along the nearly 5km stretch of Sanur Beaches. It is situated on the the southern side in between Mertasari Beach and Semawong Beach. There are nice hotels and eateries in the area. The promenade that passes through has tall trees and good shade. You'll find areas with lounge chairs, good sand and swimming conditions. CitraLand caters well for younger children with it's shallow pools and smaller slides. I'd say it's ideally for kids between the ages of 3 and 12. You can buy your tickets online before you arrive but bring cash as the local food vendors are not set up for card payments. Be aware, they will search your bags and hold any food or drink items at the door for you to collect upon exiting. They did let us keep baby food but taking our water bottles felt over the top. The staff were very friendly and the facilities were clean.

Close to my home. IDR 35’000 on weekdays, IDR 50’000 on weekends. Closer on Mondays. A plenty of activities can be found. Clean enough. Locker facility with an extra charge to rent a locker. Avoid this place unless you want mould exposure and have 8/9 yr olds as they cant use the 2 main slides. Only 10 yrs or older can…of course they dont tell you this on their website. Yet waterbom…no problem going on much higher/faster slides for 8 yr olds. So Wasted money and time. Service lady was in incompetent and insisted in providing a receipt for locker refund even though I had a key. In 2 weeks this was the only disappointment we had in Bali and it was the worst weve had in 20+ yrs of travel. Again-avoid it unless you want to get sick and have your kids leave in tears. !?!!!

I think for the price we paid, it was all good. The water could be cleaner, that's true, but it was just about acceptable. This is a waterpark aimed at locals, with local prices. I would recommend, if you come here as a foreigner, you might feel more comfortable wearing a T-shirt over your bikini. Nobody is saying anything if you don't, but everyone is covered up pretty much from head to toe, so one might feel awakard wearing bikini... Well, that's how I felt, so I ended up not going into the pool at all. 😂
Klara G — Google review
The place has good maintenance, and the pool were very clean and safe for kids to play. There are few pool guard will looking for your kids. But you should pay for the locker if you needed. You should try this one!!

Very good place. Went there on Friday, worthed it. Cold water, even we went around 10am until 1pm. Didn't had any meal though, but saw some stalls. Smoking area separate but still in pool premises.
Fredy W — Google review
This place is easy to find from the road. The parking lot is quite big. The staffs are welcome. The water in the kid's pool look a bit dirty. All the attractions are working fine. They provide security officers there to make sure that everyone is save. Some of the shower in the bathroom are broken. Also the changing room is not in a good smell, there should put a fragrance here. Otherwise everything is clean.

Experience the thrill of surfing at Legian Beach in Bali, where UP2U Surf School offers top-notch surf lessons and board rentals. Located near Legian Beach Hotel, this renowned surf school prioritizes safety and quality service. After catching some waves, explore the DMZ Museum for a glimpse into historical relics and impressive artworks. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced surfer, UP2U Surf School is the perfect place to enjoy the exhilarating activities that Legian Bali has to offer.
I took my first surf lesson at Up2U, and it was absolutely incredible! The prices are great, the instructors are top-notch, and the photo package is a fantastic bonus—those shots make you look amazing! My instructor, Alex, was phenomenal—super respectful, friendly, and encouraging. I managed to stand on the board on my first try and even surfed some green waves, despite never having surfed before. Ask for Alex, and you won’t be disappointed! The entire experience was spectacular. The only slight improvement I’d suggest is adjusting the timing of the photo session. It starts right at the beginning of the lesson (in my case, at 6:30 AM when the tide was very low), so by the time you’re more comfortable on the board and the waves are better, the photographer is done. Still, this minor detail doesn’t overshadow how amazing the experience was. I highly recommend Up2U!

My kids learned how to surf 2 years ago at Up2U when we visited Bali and last week they took 2 more classes during our Bali trip. The coaches are excellent with kids, even my niece (8yo) interested to try and signed up. She really enjoyed her first surfing lesson. My kids will definitely take surf lessons here when we go to Bali again. Ps. They give free surf pics, that’s so nice to have.

Had such a fun time with up2u! Alex was a great instructor, super clear and straight to the point, which I really appreciate. He made everything easy to understand and the whole session felt enjoyable. Would definitely recommend!

The experience as a beginner was great. I was a little scared at first but Dennis was an amazing coach, patient and great with instruction. He broke down the steps and ways to improve clearly. He remained calm and was funny as well. My experience with UP2U Surf School overall so good! I’m thinking to go again, practice makes perfect right 😅

10/10 recommend! Expert trainers and excellent customer service. I took a two day course, and could go from zero to catching my first waves by day 2. There is a shower nearby and they also provide a safe to keep your belongings. Really wish to stay longer and continue surfing with the folks here. Special mention to the man behind the magic: Paul, and the lovely instructors Adi, Adi again, Gide, Anya, Reni and Rico. Big up team UP2U!

Had an amazing time learning to surf with UP2U. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to learn. Rico is a brilliant coach who took time to teach me all the basics and has given me the confidence to try surfing alone. UP2U provides such a fun and relaxed atmosphere which makes it so welcoming for beginners. Thank you to the whole team!

The spa offers high-quality hair and nail treatments by a team of beauty stylists and spa therapists. It's known for its professional manicures, pedicures, hair care services, waxing, tinting of eyebrows and lashes.
I had the pleasure of having my hair coloured by the wonderful Vika who made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole process. My expectations were completely exceeded and I am in love with my new hair. I couldn’t recommend this salon highly enough! Thank you so much !!
Ella C — Google review
I booked at Glo Day Spa after checking out their reviews and I’m so glad I did! They were super fast and professional when I messaged them on WhatsApp —always quick to respond whenever I had questions. I was honestly a bit nervous at first because I had a bad salon experience last year in a diff salon, but this was completely different. The senior stylist director did my hair and he was amazing. He took the time to ask exactly what I wanted, explained every step, and made sure I was okay with it before doing anything. I really trusted him, and he nailed the blonde I wanted — super smooth, natural, and not brassy at all (which is hard with Asian hair in one session!). I also got my eyebrows threaded and the girl who did it was so detailed and professional. They even took me into a room with LED lights to check everything — I’ve never seen that before and it made the whole thing feel super clean and precise. She listened to what I wanted and did a great job. Overall, such a good experience. I’d definitely come back!

I can’t recommend Glo enough! They looked after myself, my bridesmaids, my mum, and my mother-in-law on my wedding day in Bali, and everything was absolutely perfect. A special mention to Kelly and Scott—not only were they professional and incredible at what they do, but they were so warm and friendly that it honestly felt like having mates with us while we were getting ready. They made the whole experience relaxed, fun and stress-free. If you’re wondering who to book for hair and makeup in Bali for your wedding day—Glo is the team you want by your side, we cannot thank them enough xx

I highly recommend this place. I had the best care and the staff are amazing. My hair dresser Yoni did a great job! I had to catch a flight the same day and had limited time. He worked so fast, and the outcome was amazing!

Yoni Herijanto is literally the best hairdresser I've ever had my hair done by. I have no idea how he managed to take my hair to the blonde colour it is, from the dark brown/slightly reddish colour it was, in ONE sitting. The whole team at Glo was amazing, kind and got me in the same day I asked about an appointment, despite being fully booked. They gave me a shoulder massage while my hair was setting and hot tea the whole way through. Everyone was so nice and Yoni is an absolute professional with hair. He did a technique I've never heard of called airtouch balayage.. and wow, it's amazing. He took my hair from stressed, breaking and oily, to healthy, shiny and beautiful honey blonde. BEST EVER! I'd literally fly back to Bali just to get my hair done by Yoni again. Come here and you'll leave with amazing, healthy hair!!! 🥰 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I’ve been at Glo Spa since midday and it has been absolute bliss. I started with a one-hour facial followed by a 75-minute massage with Kariya — hands down the best massage I have ever had. After that, I enjoyed an Olaplex treatment with Ika paired with the most heavenly head massage, and she is now finishing with a blow-dry - she is so talented! The entire team here is superb — professional, attentive, and so welcoming. I’ll definitely be back!

The salon here is very friendly and highly skilled at perms. You have a consultation with your stylist beforehand and they give you detailed explanations and advice. Yoni the stylist is a great stylist and I will be back here again. Thank you so much.

I rated them quite low 2 years ago but I just wanna update it now that I just visited and really find their improvement very impressive! The therapist are so much more experienced than before, the staffs are very friendly, and the price is still as good as it used to be. Would really recommend! Don’t forget to book ahead of time.

I’m always satisfied with the service here—never once have I felt disappointed. Every visit leaves me feeling refreshed and completely recharged. This place truly knows how to restore both body and mind. The therapists are all incredibly skilled, attentive, and professional. No matter who I’m assigned to, the quality of the treatment is consistently top-notch. It’s rare to find a place where every therapist is this good. This spa has become my personal sanctuary. Highly recommended for anyone in need of genuine relaxation and a boost of positive energy.

please note that some massage treatments are only done by masseurs. the staff never had informed us this information even we arrived. we only knew this arrangement when it happened. they could have surely shared this info with us ahead of time (ie when we made our reservation or when we arrived the store). the staff never told us about this but just asked us to pay first. that’s quite an unprofessional behaviour.

Came here for a mid day massage after my water sports activities to loosen some knots. We made a reservation and went for a full body massage. My masseuse was really small, but boy, does she know where to push to unravel the knots on my back. For 1 hour 20 mins, I was laid on my belly and with only my underwear. She applied oil over my arms and legs and back and pushed.🫸 I love how the massage covers from the tip of my fingers to the tip of my toes, back and front of my hands, and also my head. Also, helping you to stretch lightly 💆‍♀️ when facing front, you're asked if you'd like to cover your eyes. She gave me 2 moist cotton pads soaked in what it seemed like. Cucumber juice. For females, the masseuse will ask if you're OK with a chest and belly massage. You can opt out if you're not comfortable with it. Basically, it's a light massage to stimulation circulation. Barely 2 mins each only. At the end, you're asked if you'd like a towel wipe down for the oil or a shower. Given a tower and some toiletries, you can go for a bath. Ginger tea is given at the end. The massage was great for me so I tipped my masseuse. 😊

Pandora Experience Escape Room Bali offers an exciting escape game adventure in Kuta, catering to teams of two to fourteen players. Participants are challenged to solve a series of riddles and puzzles within a time limit of two hours. The experience promises surprises, secret passages, hidden chambers, and mind-boggling challenges that provide an exhilarating mental workout and adrenaline rush. It's a perfect indoor activity for rainy days or when seeking a break from beach relaxation.
I can't wait to come back to try all the Pandora rooms! Rooms are very well designed & with enjoyable surprises. The two ones I did, level 4 & 5 difficulty, were so fun with some tough rooms and some physical activity. Both times we escaped almost reaching the time limit, 120min! We loved the fact that the rooms are 2hours and you must move through multiple scenarios not just being stuck in a single escape room. Highly recommended to spend a great time with friends or fam! Well done guys!
Bambú Y — Google review
Went here for Area 51 episode. It was interesting and just ok. Edit the next day: Went here again for Shutter Asylum. It was more fun this time. Everybody liked it more with this episode. There was 1 accident, someone's finger bled because of holding on to a wall while the room was moving manually. Players must be briefed about not touching walls in a moving room. Accident happens so we didn't blame the staff.
Flouren V — Google review
This escape room had another level… a physical factor. Without giving away too much, you need to get on your hands and knees at times in the dark. It was another level to try and solve and we liked that. Rooms are 2 hours but we solved it in 1.15, so could have likely done a harder room. It was a good experience id recommend it if you want to try that physical factor, although do a more difficult room if you do escape rooms often.
Samantha B — Google review
The Alcatraz was a really well designed escape room, and I do not want to spoil it without sharing too much so please do not read on if you want to enjoy it as it should be 😅 First off, the physical aspect as mentioned by many other reviewers is something to take note of, although it wasn’t physically demanding for the most part, there’s a whole lot of climbing to be done, with the last part being the most extreme one 🤣 The difficulty level was acceptable, we often overthink the puzzles and ended up wasting some time here and there - the game masters also shared clues in steps when we prompted so we don’t get to the end too quickly. The one that has the most wow factor was when we could actually move the room, which was nothing like we have seen in any escape rooms… a true feat of a puzzle 💯 All in all, it was a good time and money spent, we did admittedly get very brain drained at the end but it was a fruitful experience overall 👍🏻
YY — Google review
This place really deserves it's 5 stars. In the U.S., escape rooms simply can't be this intricate and physically involving - the liability concerns would be too great. But for people who enjoy or really love escape rooms, Pandora Experience is a dream come true. My wife and I did Shutter Asylum (not knowing it was the hardest one) and needed clues at almost every turn. Still, it was pretty amazing - it's much more physical than just a room with clues and some gadgets, and you feel more involved. The speakers kind of suck, and it's a bit dark making reading some things difficult, but those weren't huge issues. A few days later we returned to do Alcatraz (mid-difficulty/very physical) and we needed only a couple clues. Again, awesome experience. Both times, we went a bit overtime, and the operators were kind in letting us finish without making any fuss about it. For 2-hour escape rooms, so well done, I wish we could have done them all. Definitely message them ahead of time to pick the room and time you want.
Josh S — Google review
Pandora Experience is definitely worth a visit, especially on rainy days, perfect for a fun indoor activity! I’ve been here a couple of times and always had a great time. The escape rooms are super entertaining, with well crafted stories and lots of puzzles and action. Some rooms are surprisingly spacious, which is a big plus for me. Highly recommended for groups looking for something exciting and different!
Tilen P — Google review
Maybe we were at a bad luck, but nobody monitoring cctv and we were left hanging on the radio calling game master for more than 30 minutes stucked inside the room. Never ever want to try this escape room ever again!
莲Winnie — Google review
Our group did the coven room and was very disappointed especially after seeing all the positive reviews and fear factor score. The room was not scary and the puzzles were not as interactive as we had hoped. Some of the clues made no sense either and involved fair bit of reading. Perhaps the other rooms might be better but coven was an unfortunate letdown.

We did several ATV experiences in Bali and there are a lot better options. Track is full of bricks and metal but the main complaint is WAY too many people in the group to be enjoyable. Older equipment, bald tires, barely working breaks. Maybe if this was your only ATV experience you’d be impressed, but there are far better options where you can actually drive…

Playground
Peek A Boo Reborn is a vibrant and engaging indoor playground in Bali, perfect for children under 9. The special baby and toddler play area offers a lively and colorful space with plenty of toys. It features various attractions like ball pits, jungle gyms, slides, trampolines, ziplines, dress-up corners, and a sandbox. The facility is well-ventilated with air conditioning and has a nearby cafe for parents to enjoy.
We visited Peek A Boo Reborn in Bali and had quite a unique experience. When we arrived, there was literally no one else around—it almost felt like we had the entire place to ourselves. At first, we were a bit surprised, but it actually turned out to be a blessing because the kids had free rein over all the play areas without any waiting or crowding. The facilities are spacious and well-designed, with a mix of indoor and outdoor zones. Indoors, there are colorful slides, ball pits, trampolines, climbing frames, and plenty of interactive play areas. Everything looked clean, well-maintained, and safe for children. Outdoors, there’s a shaded play area that gives kids a chance to run around in fresh air, which was a nice balance to the indoor activities. Since no one else was around, our kids could go up and down the slides and jump as much as they wanted—it felt like a private playground! The café area was another plus point. We ordered some drinks and light bites, and while watching the kids play, it felt relaxing and stress-free. The menu is simple but decent enough for a family outing, and the seating is comfortable for parents who want to take a break. Staff were polite and attentive, even though the place was so quiet. They were friendly with the kids and made sure the facilities were ready for use. Overall, Peek A Boo Reborn gave us a memorable experience because of how empty it was during our visit. Some parents might worry about why it wasn’t crowded, but for us it was actually great—we didn’t have to deal with queues, noise, or overcrowding. The kids had a fantastic time, and we got a peaceful few hours while they burned off their energy. If you’re in Bali with children and looking for a clean, safe, and fun environment away from the usual tourist spots, this is definitely worth checking out.
Gabriel K — Google review
We had a great time visiting this kids’ playground! The space is huge and filled with various play areas, including a fun zipline that my child absolutely loved. The entrance ticket is very affordable, and the option for unlimited hours is a big plus for families looking to spend the day there. One thing to note is that the café at the front is a nice spot for parents to relax or grab a bite, but it’s not connected to the playground itself. This means you can’t watch your kids while you’re in the café, which might be a downside for some. Overall, it’s a fantastic place for kids to run around and have fun, and we’d definitely visit again! A little adjustment to the café’s setup to include a view of the play areas would make it perfect.
Andesita O — Google review
The play ground is clean, the staff are constantly monitoring the condition and cleanliness of the game area. What we like the best: No mosquitoes! Especially now - rainy season. There is always staff walking around - watch over the play ground. They DEFINITELY can improve on their toilets cleanliness tho. There is a cafe by the play ground, not so sure if the cafe is affiliated with PeekABoo. Menu selection is enough, although Coffee option not so (they only have fresh milk or condensed milk). Other than that would give PeekABoo a five stars rating.
Inka S — Google review
If you’re coming to Bali with little ones, then this is a great option for them to have fun! It’s fully air conditioned, colourful, and engaging! They have: rope bridge flying fox, plastic sand pit Air track Costumes Climbing frames with ball pit bases Tube slide There’s a cafe next door if you’re feeling peckish. Highly recommend!
Garreth H — Google review
Good space to take your kids to run around in air conditioning. approx $11 -$13 AUS for entry per child. Kids had fun on the high bridge and flying fox. Heaps of areas for them to play in. But if a trek from main tourist area. Toilets need some attention. Play area kept clean.
NEB R — Google review
A comfortable playground for children, with very friendly and kind staff. The children love playing here. The indoor area is fully air-conditioned. They also provide free flying fox for children (at certain times).
Lee — Google review
Our go to when it's a rainy day. Would say most suitable from 3 and up. There is a ball pit with jungle gym, loads of slides, a jumping gymnastics mat for tumbling, swings, more slides and trampolines, a zipline, dress up corners (hospital & firefighter station), and a sandbox with plastic pebbles. Cafe next door for the parents with pretty decent food. Tickets are 1 for the child + 1 chaperone. Well ventilated & A/C.

Lovely morning riding on the beach. Horses well cared for and seemed happy, guides were keen to get all the horses trotting and cantering. Kids had a great time. Thank you
Mags D — Google review
They don't care about their customers or their animals welfare. I was thrown on a stallion that would bite anytime I (or the guide) tried to ask it to move and was told 'dont use leg". Later I was told to whip the poor thing with the reigns instead. About 15mins into the ride I explained that I didn't feel safe so they left me on the beach to go back and get me another horse. They returned with the same stallion however, another stallion that was a pony, as well as a man I assume is the owner of the business? My horse then proceeded to rear multiple times, throw it's head constantly and honestly seemed to be in pain or something, if it were my horse I would be getting a vet out to check it. I requested a partial refund so I could just call it and go home but was told that isn't possible because 'we spent all morning preparing this horse" (it was 9am) and that if the horse wasn't satisfactory it was because I was/am a terrible rider. The owner got so upset he was literally yelling at me in front of strangers on the beach, which admittedly made me cry and just do as I was told and get back on to finish the hour long ride I had paid 700,000IDR for. I don't claim to be a grand prix rider but I've ridden all over the world, whenever I travel. Ive mustered cattle on horse back and ride multiple times a week while I'm home. I've never, ever had such an awful experience anywhere in the world. I did a different ride days before this in Saba, Bali and it was magical so was surprised and hurt to see the state of this stable and how I was treated. He told me 'dont blame the horse's to which I replied 'its never the horses fault, I don't blame him, I blame you". I finished the hour ride I paid for and left as quickly and quietly to avoid being yelled at anymore. Note - the young guide was very kind to me. He was not the problem, his boss was. The stables looks like something from a video about animal abuse, they have a poor adult macaque locked in a tiny cage. The horses are visibly afraid and in poor condition. There are so many beautiful places to ride in Bali. This is not one of them. Avoid this place at all cost, save your money and don't contribute to whatever kind of scam this place is trying to be. Also, Mesari Stables and this place are the same place. I notice they have different websites/booking options. Where I went is the same place in all the pictures in the other reviews heres. It seems they try and pretend that people leave bad reviews by mistake on the wrong location but that seems to be a tactic yo try and hide how bad they are. To the owner - Don't try and pretend I didn't book at this place. You remember me. You took my money, put me in a dangerous position without providing ANY safety equipment and then bullied and verbally abused me into submission. I was/am a single female and they knew they could intimidate me, taking full advantage. This place should be shut down. It's an embarrassment to the whole island of Bali.

Our horse riding experience on Seminyak beach was perfect. The handlers were amazing and the horses were lovely. Great experience and bonus for the pickup and drop off service. Shout out to Gery who made the morning fun. Highly recommend

Hadn't been riding on the beach for years. It was truly amazing. Horse 'Brian' was fantastic, as were our guides. They went above and beyond to take as many photos and videos of our experience, we even captured the sunset. Truly grateful. Thankyou Nicole

Was scared and sceptical due to the other reviews but it went really well! I rode Milo and he did a really good job, though he stopped multiple times to snack on some greenery which i found adorable (and relatable hehe) Will say im a little disappointed that i didn't get an opportunity for a crash course on how to ride alone and was guided/pulled the entire hour but i can understand why not as it was my first time riding. Guide Baduk (i'm not the best with names, sorry if i got it wrong 😅) was really friendly and took good photos! This experience was really fun and interesting! It has inspired me to considering taking up proper horse riding lessons in he future!

24/8/25 Approx $70Aud per hour Thank you so much to the team at Mesari! Amazing! Amazing! Amazing! Cheers to Juni for welcoming us and for being so accommodating. Thank you to our guides Lanna and Marmu and our horses Melly and Pigoo! The guides were super professional, took great pics and gave great intel about the area and history of Mesari. This ride was amazing and suitable for all experiences. They matched the riders to the horses and allowed us time to bond with the horses. The ride on the beach was spectacular! A definite ‘Must do’ when in Seminyak Bali!

I have read the reviews of the previous people's experiences and thought that the reviews reflected inexperienced customers encounters. But, although I am an experienced rider, when I tried the horse riding myself I was was disappointed because of the following reasons: -I specifically requested a mother-daughter bonding experience, but we didn't even get a photo of us together because the horses disliked each other and would not go close together -The horse that I was provided with was 20 years old, tried to bite anything, stubborn and was afraid of water -Lastly, the largest complaint I have is about the arrogant and lazy guide I was given. He was rude and could not be bothered to do anything. He spent the majority of the hour long ride I had paid for, chatting for as long as he liked with my daughter’s guide and was constantly on his phone, not paying attention to the horse. When I asked why he was going so slowly, he said that the horse was tired. The horse is 20, why would you put her on an 1 hour ride! Near the end of our ride, the guides swapped around, and then the horse was magically no longer tired! Turns out my guide was. When I read the other reviews, I noticed that this guy has come up more than a few times. I do not understand why he is still working there. Overall my experience was awful because of this guy and the horse they picked for me. The only reason I have given two stars instead of zero is because of my daughter’s guide. He was friendly and put in an effort to make our encounter a little more enjoyable. I regret not leaving this guy a better tip, as he really did try. As you can see from several angles in the pictures below, you will see my guide texting and is wearing the white shirt.

My son (Jake) and daughter (Larissa) did horse riding today and absolutely loved it and expressed next time we come to Bali they would love to do it again. The staff were very kind and helpful as Jake and Larissa were a little nervous, they made them feel at ease. I would recommend Horse Riding Seminyak Beach Bali to anyone. If you're looking to dive into the rich culinary traditions of Bali, the Balinese Cooking Class at The Amala is an excellent choice. This immersive experience allows you to learn how to create authentic Balinese dishes in a well-equipped kitchen, guided by friendly and knowledgeable local chefs. You'll enjoy hands-on instruction that makes mastering these exciting recipes both fun and accessible.
A very enjoyable cooking experience in Bali. The chef Pande and the ass. chef Arik were really friendly and helpful. During the cooking class, everything was prepared, it’s easy for those who has no cooking experience. After the cooking class, we had the meal we cooked in the restaurant next to the pool, the restaurant was so relaxing and beautiful.

We had an incredible experience at the cooking class at The Amala! Chef Putu and Ari were both amazing, friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about Balinese cuisine. From the moment we were picked up, everything was seamless. We were welcomed with a refreshing drink on arrival, then guided through an engaging and hands-on cooking session where we learned so much about local spices and traditional techniques. The whole experience was not only delicious but also excellent value. Highly recommended for anyone looking to dive deeper into Balinese culture and food!
Declan L — Google review
We recently had the pleasure of attending a cooking class led by Chef Putu, and it was a fantastic experience! Chef Putu was highly professional, and his assistant Ari contributed to the warm, welcoming atmosphere throughout the entire session. One thing to note is that you don’t need to be hands-on with every step of the cooking process—about 70% of the dishes are prepared by the chef and his team, but you still get to participate and learn. What’s even better is that you don’t have to worry about the cleanup—the team takes care of it, making the experience even more enjoyable. The variety of dishes offered is impressive, and without a doubt, this cooking class is one of the best in the area. I highly recommend it for groups or families—it’s definitely worth it!

We tried the Balinese Cooking Class with Pande and Komang. They were amazing teachers and we had a blast learning about all of the ingredients used. We got to take home the recipes and the aprons as souvenirs. The food was delicious and there was way too much to finish. We left full and happy with our experience.

We had a blast at AMALA's cooking class! We got stuck into Balinese cooking and whipped up a tasty Lawar Salad that was seriously good. Learning to wrap fish in banana leaves was a game-changer too, it added that real authentic vibe. The lunch setup was spot on, we got to enjoy our grub in style. The flavors were spot on, showing off Balinese cuisine at its finest. And let me tell you, the coconut pancake dessert was absolutely lush! If you're up for some tasty Balinese food and a fun cooking session, AMALA's class is where it's at. Can't recommend it enough!

I followed the Balinese cooking class with my partner. It was a very nice experience. We first went to the local fish market with the chef, where we were given an explanation of the ingredients that we would use during the lesson. The cooking class was well put together, we received a lot of explanation and the recipes we made were delicious! We have been given the recipes + an apron. We can't wait to try it ourselves at home. Recommended !!!
Censey J — Google review
This was a unique experience to learn to cook like the locals. We were hands on with much of the course. We made 3 courses: starter, main and dessert. After we were able to eat the meal we prepared in the restaurant. That was the perfect touch. We took home our aprons, a cooking certificate, a copy of the menu, as well as full bellys. This was a great bonding experience for me and my friends. Chef Sudarmika answered all of our questions and kept us engaged. The assistant/sous chef Ari was the perfect hostess. They both mad this experience fun! My only negative, we're those pesky flys.. I wish there were zappers or fans to keep them away.

We went in may- water was low so not a tone of white water but it was nice. Instructor was friendly. Be aware when booking through the whats app link on the website that its apperently a different company? We were never picked up at booked time. We finally got a hold of them after 1 hour and they ended up coming within the next hour. They said it was a miscommunication. Amazing beach with a swimming pool and turtle conservation 🐢 The beach is good, I came at day and night At day you can see a sunrise At night you can see a lot of star and even a star constellation However the foods are crazy expensive like a balinese rice for 160k and salad for 90k, but some of them have a pretty normal price like a burger for 15k or ice cream for 7k Overall 7.8/10 👍

I truly enjoyed my experience with my 16months old daughter. She had so much to play with, the space was as pleasant clean, spacious and so many different activities for children. We could easily spend all day there, the most amazing part is there is a coffee next door, parents can enjoy their time while the children play. The staff are very nice and very helpful. Totally worth it. I recommend.
Cervantes P — Google review
The place is nice, lots of cameras everywhere so parents can watch through the camera tv while sitting. Lots of games so kids don't get bored for 3 hours. There is a cafe for parents to wait. But unfortunately the place is very hot, the hottest is on the top of slide area. When you sit there, you feel like hot air is blowing from your back. There is air conditioning there but it was not turned on. My child after playing for 1 hour looked very sweaty and pale even though I had given him lots of water to drink. And there was one terrible incident there. There was a white boy with yellow shirt, he was carrying a small rubber tire and climbing the stairs, then one of the male employees from far shouted like he was shouting at him, then the employee ran towards him and then roughly grabbed the rubber tire from that kid. That made all the parents shocked. It was very terrible to see that incident. What if that happened to our own child? No one was looking after the child, the parents went somewhere. So don't leave your child alone in this playground without supervision because there is impatient employee in this place. Employee is only patient with parents but not with children. check your camera on December 23, 2024 at around 12-2 pm.

Bali Exotic Marine Park, located near Wake Park in Denpasar, offers a captivating experience for visitors to immerse themselves in the vibrant marine life and stunning underwater scenery. The park features interactive exhibits, live shows, and Indonesia's largest dolphin lagoon, providing an educational and interactive exploration of marine animals. Visitors can witness gentle and respectful handling of dolphins by experienced staff while enjoying a cheerful and child-friendly atmosphere.
One of the best experiences I have ever had. Interacting with these majestic creatures was a thrill of a life time. Before anyone complains these are all rescue dolphins and are very well treated. The owners are very environmentaly conscious and are working very hard in this area and doing great things for the island and it's environment. Super friendly staff and very knowledgeable. We visited Bali Exotic Marine Park with our kids, and it was such a memorable experience for the whole family. From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming and made sure we knew the schedule for shows and activities. The biggest highlight for the kids was definitely the dolphin show and interaction. Watching the dolphins swim, jump, and play was magical, and our kids were completely mesmerized. The trainers also took the time to explain dolphin behavior and the importance of marine conservation in a way the children could understand. We joined a dolphin interaction session, and seeing the kids laugh and engage with these amazing animals up close was truly special. The park is designed to be fun and educational, which I really appreciated. The kids were entertained while also learning about marine life, conservation, and the ocean in a safe, hands-on environment. Facilities were very family-friendly – clean restrooms, shaded spots to rest, and a small café for snacks and drinks when needed. Everything felt safe and well-maintained, which made it easy to relax while the kids explored. Overall, Bali Exotic Marine Park is perfect for families. Our children had a blast, we made some unforgettable memories, and it was both entertaining and educational. If you’re in Bali with kids, this is a must-visit for a fun, unique, and memorable experience beyond the usual beach and sightseeing activities.

Park
Lumintang Park is a serene oasis amidst the city's hustle and bustle, offering a picturesque landscape set around a tranquil lake. The park features a jogging track, playgrounds for children, and captivating weekend fountain shows that showcase colorful performances. Surrounded by lush trees and adorned with statues depicting Balinese folklore, the park is not only a recreational haven but also a cultural gem.
It's nice and clean, there is a playground and a pond in the middle. 2 jogging tracks available and it's always open for public. You can buy snacks and water too at the entrance. Need to pay 2k rupiah for the parking lot

A highly recommended place for family recreation. in this place there are lots of playgrounds for children, lots of angles to take pictures, great selfie spots, this area is also quite clean, plants and trees are arranged for good, there are paths to make a run or jogging. Enjoy all of those part here!

The Lumintang Park is a field in the city with a beautifully landscaped and cool garden, great for relieving fatigue and even children can play here freely because there are playground facilities ... usually this place is crowded in the morning and evening because of many people are jogging here, there are even a number of gym facilities in the park, besides that there is also a gathering place for young people to perform arts or others performances on a small scale ,,, this place is really useful for people who just looking for a fresh atmosphere in the middle of the city.

It's a good place to go jogging. The air is freah in the morning. This place provides some gym equipment and playground for young kids. The people can drink from the water tap. The place is clean with trash bins. There is a dancing fountain as the icon in the middle of the park which performs every saturday and sunday at 7 p.m. It has many bench es to enjoy the view. Sometimes, this park is used to hold some local festivals and gets very noisy and crowded. The government has to maintain this park well.

A bit small, but the park is refreshing nevertheless. Perfect for walks, but not so much to jog as the pavements are a bit uneven.
