Nature & Wildlife Areas
Circle B Bar Reserve, located southeast of Lakeland, is a picturesque natural area that has been restored to protect the floodplain portion of Lake Hancock. The reserve offers unpaved trails for hiking, roadways and trails for biking, and fishing opportunities along Lake Hancock. It's an ideal destination for nature enthusiasts who can spot various wildlife such as alligators, armadillos, raccoons, bobcats, and bald eagles while exploring the gently winding hiking trails.
The park is just pure nature. It has a calm and relaxed ambience about it. Gators do roam around but they're not usually in your path. Oftentimes, they're swimming on their own, which is fun to watch. There are many different paths to walk and a lot of birds and other animals to see. It can get hot, so bring liquids. Parking is kind of a nightmare. That is the one thing that makes the experience much more stressful, so get there early. Pets are not allowed here due to gators and other animals. I gave this a 5, despite the poor parking. I wasn't sure how else to rate it. They need more parking here. If I recall, there is an inside mini-museum you can check out at certain hours but most of the experience is outside on the trails with nature.
Adam P — Google review
Love the area, it is very well kept, and the people who work here are super knowledgeable about the animals, trees and wildlife. You can bring your bikes or hike through the preserve. There are wild pigs/hogs and of course gators can be found in plain sight. Being alert is especially important here but I feel that makes it a better experience. The preserve is enormous so plan on making multiple trips. F.y.i. Bring yourself plenty to drink and wear comfortable clothing. There are a lot of mosquitoes depending on the time of year so plan for that during the hotter season.
Miguel M — Google review
Ok so for the 3 star rating. Now the place is absolutely cool looking for sure plenty of hiking trails that are very well maintained and definitely what's the word photogenic or something now I could probably easily rate it 5 stars but man we were so disappointed when we went , we saw pretty much nothing as far as wildlife, no gators, otters, bobcats which we figured we wouldn't see them due to the time of day but that being said it was pretty decently sunny and in the 80s so definitely figured we'd at least see some alligators and before going when we seen reviews on Google that it was a definite Hotspot to see them so as for that it was a let down. Like I said otherwise definitely a nice scenic place and I'm sure as far as the wildlife goes some days will be better than others .
James M — Google review
Loved the scenery. Nature at its finest for sure. Loved the free parking and free entry to this place. Make sure you are wearing comfortable shoes when coming here. I learned the hard way (I had on flip flops) We got to see lots of alligators up close and personal. Saw lots of birds and even a turtle. The people visiting were very nice and repeat visitors too. The workers were very pleasant and spoke to us giving us information for future visits as far as tours etc. This was a definite work out and make sure you bring lots of water to stay hydrated when walking here !!
Reese P — Google review
Even with Central Florida havling a very dry season wildflower and wildlife were all over as we walked the trails! Parking lots were filling up around 9:30am. Portable bathrooms were clean. Lots of benches along hiking trails
Jeanene A — Google review
I love Circle B Bar Reserve. Last week we spent over $200 to go on an air boat ride to see alligators. Didn’t really see anything but a little one. Then I took them to the reserve! Such a great place to take our family from up north. My grandson saw several little guys and one huge alligator. The trails are so well kept and it just feels good to be able to walk and see such beautiful nature.
Jamie S — Google review
Nice, educational preserve. Taking a quick jaunt along the trail, I saw many alligators, herons, ibises, armadillos, and a mama softshell turtle. However, so many mosquitoes! Even soaked in bug spray, I was bitten multiple times. Parts of the trail also had higher grass on the path, which was a bit worrisome paired with the tick warning signs.
Jennifer L — Google review
As a wildlife photographer hobbyist this place is great when it comes to diversity in wildlife. From small birds to alligators, if you are patient and have a good eye you will see some amazing creatures. Please take out what you take in.

Drive-in movie theater
The Silver Moon Drive-In Theatre, established in 1948, is a historic outdoor cinema located in Lakeland, Florida. It boasts two screens showing first-run films and offers a nostalgic experience for moviegoers of all ages. The drive-in's vintage charm attracts a diverse crowd, from older individuals seeking to relive classic movie magic to younger generations eager to experience the allure of the past.
Have only been here a hand full of times, but every time has been great. Can't beat the price of $8 a person for 2 movies, and it's even cheaper if you go on Thursdays at $5. The only down side so far that I've seen is it does get full fast so you have to get there early and the parking is a little tight, besides that I definitely recommend it for a great date night or just to get out of the house, my family and I will definitely be going back in the near future.
Jorge G — Google review
Place is by far awesome. It has not only been here forever but it gives you a chance to bring the kids to an old school setting teach them things from the past. It is so awesome watching the boys and their innocence just watching a movie out the trunk. We actually live three hours away and still come up at least twice a year from home and make sure to swing by if we’re in the area. You won’t regret the experience.
Mousie M — Google review
This place is so nostalgic and wonderful and absolutely charming. Truly a magical experience to have a drive in around to enjoy. My sister and I went and saw the fantastic 4 there and it reminded me of when I was a kid and went and saw ice age continental drift when it came out in my hometown drive in. Silver Moon is an absolute must visit. Delightful and truly enjoyable is the way I’d describe it
Rio B — Google review
LOVE that there’s still a drive-in around! Takes me back to childhood. Great prices, cool store, and doggie friendly. The location is clean and well organized. The staff here is great and have thought of every little detail to make your experience as great as possible. A must-do if you’re in central Florida!
Mar — Google review
Very fun. We got there about an hour early. Rented a speaker, bought a cheap pizza, kids played on the front lawn with a bunch of other kids. Based on some reviews I was prepared for absolute chaos trying to leave, but it was not a big deal at all. We didn't rush, returned the speaker, went to the bathroom, etc. By the time we left, there was some traffic, but it was moving and no one was being rude. Our only complaint is that it was a little hard to hear the speaker sometimes, but we will definitely come back here.
GR W — Google review
Absolutely loved this place! I wish we had one in Iowa! Bathrooms were CLEAN! Staff was friendly and helpful! Great Prices + New Movies! I will come back to Florida anytime just for this place!!
Ashley M — Google review
Great experience. Best way to watch a movie. Two new releases for under $10 per person and the concession food were pretty good. All in (or around) the comfort of your The only knock would be that the traffic getting out is insane. Highly recommend.
Raul F — Google review
Have gone here a couple times with my boyfriend and have loved it. We went to go see the latest Marvel movie fantastic four and the staff was kind and guided us to a spot where our small car could still see the screen with no obstruction. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

The Ashley Gibson Barnett Museum of Art (The AGB) at Florida Southern College is a small museum that showcases global works from pre-Columbian to contemporary art. It hosts changing exhibitions by local, regional, and national artists, including artwork by young students. The museum also features permanent collections of African and Oceanic art and ceremonial objects. Additionally, it offers free admission and is nationally accredited and Smithsonian-affiliated.
They opened a new wing and renamed the place from Polk art museum. Not only do they have masterpieces, in the new wing they have chihuly blown glass, pottery, fabric art, bronze statues and large items. You visit for free. They also have a gift shop
Molly H — Google review
An amazing long established museum formerly known as the Polk Museum. It’s facility is throughly world class, has free admission for all and has fascinating collections featuring Warhol to Renoir type impressionist art, rare Jazz Artists photography, Pop and abstract art and ceramic and marble sculptures. The museum volunteers are well versed in the collections and are very genuine and friendly. Do not miss this gem of a art museum.
George — Google review
They have just installed new floors, the whole museum was immaculate and had some incredible pieces of art and sculptures to see and learn about. I especially enjoyed the Four Seasons which has just been restored beautiful.
Alex W — Google review
World class art in a smaller museum. You could easily spend a couple of hours in this wonderful free museum. There is a collection of art by the highwaymen, Andy Warhol, Dale Chihuly glass, Rodin sculptures, impressionist art, American art by artists such as Robert Raushenberg and Robert Indiana, photographs by Ansel Adams and others, beautiful ceramics, European decorative arts from the 15th century and, of course, a Frank Lloyd Wright exhibit of textile blocks and a model of Florida Southern College. Not to be missed is an exhibit of jazz legends by photographer Herman Leonard. The temporary exhibit is here until August 31. Nice gift shop and plenty of parking.
Mike Z — Google review
The Ashley Gibson Barnett Museum of Art, “The AGB” for short, is formerly known as the Polk Museum of Art (and probably what I’ll always think of it as). The name change came with a huge expansion which allowed the museum to nearly thrills its exhibition and learning spaces. And let me tell you, going there pre- & post-expansion the difference is mind boggling. Polk County & Lakeland truly have something to be proud of with this museum. And the best part? Free admission!! I wasn’t sure if it’d remain this way after their buildout but they are striving to keep it free for all to visit and enjoy. They have a really impressive collection for being a still smaller museum compared to the Met, Chicago Museum of Art or places like that. First, you walk into to see several Auguste Rodin sculptures, starting off strong. You can see Andy Warhol, an incredible mix of diverse artists from all over the world, and even a few Dale Chihuly blown glass pieces. It is all absolutely stunning. The AGB is a Smithsonian affiliate so they definitely have high standards. It’s also located in such a great spot right off of Lake Morton next to the library & Lake Morton Black & Brew, the Peach House, Misterfish, and the newer MooTown Scoops. Whether you’re feeling coffee, ice cream, drinks or actual food, it’s all with a 3-4 minute walk right there. A great museum to visit!
Raegan L — Google review
For a free museum I have to say that I am pretty impressed. The major exhibition is the art of The highwaymen. I spent about 40 minutes here just on the first floor the second level is mostly administrative offices classrooms in the collection of photographic art. I wouldn't say that this museum is worth driving out of your way to visit, but if you're visiting the Lakeland / Central Florida area and are looking for a little excursion this is totally worth your time.
Trapped V — Google review
Amazing changes!! In exhibits, multiple exhibits a children gallery. Love the new space and what you've done with it.
Jesus P — Google review
Loved this museum! The Edward Hopper and Guy du Bois exhibit was sensational. And, it's free admission, but I did donate because I liked it so much. Don't miss the 2nd floor exhibit. The food and home photos are eye opening. Visited again March 2024 and saw the Wyeth and Norman Rockwell exhibit. Great illustrations and all the Saturday Evening Post covers was cool!!

Wow, this was my first time at Bonnet Springs Park and I am completely enthralled. It is magical. The fact that it is free to visit is really amazing. There are activities for kids, of course, but also things that adults would enjoy. The café was also top notch. The prices are reasonable, the staff is friendly and they have ice cream! In addition to homemade kettle chips, a personal fave. I find myself more and more drawn to Lakeland with first Friday, Saturday morning market and now a new place to add to my list. Bonnet Springs Park is such a majestic place and clearly a community gathering spot.

Bonnet Springs Park: A Hidden Gem for Nature Photography Located in Lakeland, Florida, Bonnet Springs Park is a peaceful sanctuary where light, color, and nature blend beautifully. Its restored landscapes, shaded trails, and serene ponds offer endless inspiration for nature and macro photographers. From butterflies hovering over wildflowers to the quiet sense of peace beneath its towering trees, every corner reveals the gentle charm of Florida’s wild beauty. The park’s thoughtful design makes it both accessible and authentic — a place where creativity and calm meet. These images capture a few moments from my visit — glimpses of texture, color, and stillness that remind us why preserving nature is worth every frame.

My favorite local park! Its giant and has so much to see and do! I never struggle to find a parking spot and there are so many different areas that you could come here every day and find something new to see. The Polk Theatre, situated in Lakeland, Florida, is a charming Mediterranean-style theater that dates back to 1928. Despite the town's small population at the time of its construction, this historic venue with 1,400 seats has stood the test of time. In 1982, it was saved from demolition by a dedicated group of locals who formed a non-profit organization and purchased the theater for $300,000 with state grant assistance.
My first visit was 12.23.24. It was a wonderful experience. We really enjoyed it and will be back often. I've been to the Tampa Theatre and so happy to visit this one.

Always a perfect evening for The Polk Theatre! Built in 1928, the building was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places in 1993 and continues to show classic/independent films and documentaries. Much of the Theatre is supported by revenue from films.

I attended a Modern talkng concert there ,show was great but they ran out of water and wine when I wanted to get it during a break.Long lines to the ladies bathroom, my suggestion would be to make bathrooms both accessible for men and women.

We really enjoyed the Edgar Allan Poe speakeasy lastnight, once we were able to get thru the doors. The 45min wait In the very hot and humid lobby was painfully miserable. We were missed on the third signature drink but our neighbor in the row mentioned that they didn't get theirs either and so we were able to enjoy 3 and 4 during the final act.

1st time here, as it is an hour away. But will not be the last! Wonderful experience! The theatre itself is beautiful, classic and very well maintained. The balcony stairs can be tricky for those with balance issues. Recommend 1st floor seating. Bathrooms were clean and the staff was kind and very helpful. See you again soon.

Nestled in Lakeland, the Florida Air Museum is a must-visit for anyone captivated by aviation. This vibrant museum showcases an impressive array of both vintage and modern aircraft, making it a paradise for aerospace enthusiasts. Visitors can explore interactive exhibits that celebrate the rich history of flight, including tributes to aviation pioneers like Howard Hughes. The museum also features a restoration center and a gift shop where you can find unique memorabilia.
We enjoyed ourselves at this museum. We spent about 1 hour here. There's a lot of history and beautiful aircraft inside. For kids, there was a scavenger hunt with clip boards and pencils available that was fun. As well as an area for toddlers to play. The hurricane simulator was so cool. My sons favorite part was sitting inside the plane pretending he was a pilot. The gift shop was nice, with variety.
Ivana — Google review
Sure! Here’s a short review in English emphasizing the F-14: ⸻ I recently visited the Florida Air Museum and had a fantastic experience. The exhibits are well-curated and offer a great mix of aviation history and hands-on displays. But by far, the most impressive part of the visit was seeing a real F-14 Tomcat up close. Standing next to such an iconic aircraft was absolutely surreal — it’s a must-see for any aviation enthusiast. Highly recommended!
Francisco G — Google review
Great little museum. Well done informative exhibits . Great place for younger kids, lots to see and do for you get kids including an excellent shaded aviation themed outdoors playground. Great happy staff and cute little giftshop. I'd budget 1.5 hr to see it all including restoration building and our door exhibits. Unique NOAA aviation themed items featured currently.

Fun and educational experience for all ages! Interesting static exhibits, and lots of interactive exhibits for the kids. For the mature crowd there is plenty of history and cool artifacts. For the elementary school crowd there are plenty of hands on activities and an airport themed playground. There is even a special themed space for toddlers. It had one of our favorite activities. You color an airplane on a sheet of paper- the it gets scanned in to a computer that make a 3D image of your plane on a giant tv screen. Your plane takes off and flies around the screen. It was very fun.
Carson M — Google review
Really cool smaller air museum, totally worth the time to stop if you are into aviation.
Nicholas C — Google review
Took my son today and he really enjoyed how interactive some of the displays were! About 60-90 minutes to go through the whole museum including both buildings and the outside area. Restrooms were clean and Great prices at the Gift store! Although the museum itself is best suited for those who are Airplane enthusiasts you can definitely still have a nice time and learn a few things Definitely would come back with the whole family On April 9th for the anniversary.
Benny L — Google review
The Florida Air Museum's standout exhibit is the Convair YF2Y‑1 Sea Dart, one of just three surviving examples in the world! You can see this rare, jet‑powered seaplane fighter up close—an aircraft that nearly made history as a supersonic, ski‑equipped Marine interceptor, the other two surviving Sea Darts are on display at: San Diego Air & Space Museum, CA Wings of Freedom Aviation Museum (former Willow Grove NAS), Pennsylvania

On Sunday, me and my boyfriend tried Split and it was super fun! All of the staff were super nice and respectful. When we asked for clues, they were super helpful without giving away the actual “answer”. We were struggling to pick a room and they thoroughly explained the rooms we were choosing out of and helped us come to a decision! Loved the room and the experience! I reccommend coming here!

I’m so disappointed. My husband and I planned a date night to do the Asylum. We were greeted and the staff was friendly and helpful, but once the game started things went down hill. We asked four our first clue and could not get our Game Masters attention. After a few minutes we were able to proceed- then an issue popped up in the room and we were trying desperately to get help and apparently there was a change of shifts and the new game master didn’t know where we were. I had to leave the room and get help- she was kind and offered to give us more time, but because another game was booked after us we did not receive back all the time we wasted just sitting and waiting for help. We didn’t get to finish the room but were within the final steps, if we wouldn’t have had to waste our time waiting we would have gotten out. Despite the politeness of the staff it definitely feels like we wasted $80 on a subpar experience. This is not our first escape room, but we would not recommend this to anyone.

When we first walked in everything was great. The girl running the counter was friendly and nice. We get into the room and start the game. Everything was going well. Then we’re about half way through and needed another clue, both my husband and myself were waving our hands trying to get the attention of whoever was running the room and no one was paying attention. At least 5 minutes passed and still no answer. I even hit the button and walked out of the room to see if I could see anyone close by to ask them if there was an issue with our room or if we had a clue limit. Finally after some time passed someone answered and gave us another clue. They’re were other issues with the room (prohibition) where clues were correct and things didn’t do what they were supposed to do such as the one on the bar. Then the battery for the black light also didn’t work. I think what upsets me is you are literally paying for time in a room. So when people are not paying attention that burns up time on the game as well as faulty parts of the game. The girl who put us in the room even said they have to open certain doors when the clues are right. I do want to add we were not given extra time to make up for these errors. I don’t believe whoever was running our room was actually paying attention. I will add the girl with the blonde hair that was running the desk was really quick to tell me as soon as she opened the door to our game that “she wasn’t the one running the room.” Seems weird…. I will say we will not be retuning to this location.

Do yourself a favor and go to Escapology in Lakeland. Clues at this location are very misleading, with very poor instructions. After following all clues, we had to give up and ask for help multiple times with the answers not making any sense based on the instructions that were provided. If I didn't complete the room successfully I'd walk away saying, yeah you beat me and that's fine...however it should make some sort of sense but games that cannot be won aren't fun. I left feeling defeated and wanting my money back, honestly.

Went as a group of co workers late after work on July 4th. ( Work at the hospital, just looking for some fun) When we arrived she thanked us for coming early because then she could leave, then made us feel unwelcomed when she stated “me and my coworkers were wondering who and the heck would even book an escape room on the 4th of July” . The whole time we played she seemed so unenthusiastic, gave us hints we didn’t ask for as if she was rushing us to figure out the game faster. When the parts came for her to interact with us in person she couldn’t have seemed less happy to be there. Overall just a negative experience. Maybe escapeology will be better

Safari Wilderness is a privately-owned 260-acre wildlife park in Lakeland, Florida. It offers an immersive experience where visitors can see over 400 animals from around the world up close. The park provides guided tours through rugged terrain in safari vehicles, allowing guests to feed water buffalo, ostriches, and camels by hand.
Hidden gem of Lakeland. Highly recommend the bus tour or ATV tour. You get a closer look at animals and get to feed some. Tour guide was well knowledged on the animals and made the trip fun. A little pricey but worth it to support the cause.

We had such a great time! Our tour guide JJ was absolutely awesome, funny, knowledgeable, and passionate about the animals. You can really feel how much love and care everyone here has for them. We did the drive-through safari and loved every minute of it! Getting to feed the camels at the end was the highlight of the day. Definitely recommend this experience to anyone looking for something unique and fun!

This place was incredible, spent this time with my family. The grounds are kept up, the ostriches run free and full of character. You can feed the animals at the end for an added fee. There isn't a bathroom on this journey so go before it starts. The bathrooms are absolutely beautiful. I recommend.

We got lucky and went at at a time nobody else signed up for so we had a private tour! Art was very kind and gave a great tour in the safari vehicle. I loved the ostriches and hogs trying to follow along. Our experience with the coati and lemurs was the best. I wished I could’ve fed lemurs grapes all day! My kids loved all the roaming cats and goats too.
Chelsea C — Google review
My wife and I did the tour and paid extra to feed the lemurs. Our guide was Art and he was excellent. He provided a lot of information and gave us plenty of time with the animals along the way. I recommend the lemur feeding.

It's fun. Expensive but cool. You stay in your car with 6-7 other cars. Takes about an hour. You drive slow and super close to the car in front of you. The tour guide keeps in touch via car radio. Animals came right by our car. You only stop a couple times for pics of the animals. Roads are unpaved and you do bounce You do have to have a reservation

I was recently here on a group field trip. We took a safari bus through the grounds and saw all sorts of animals including ostriches, Irish cattle, deer, zebra, etc. We also got to feed antelope and Asian water buffalo by hand. (The latter was so gentle!) Our driver Art and tour guide John Luke (Jean Luc?) were excellent!
Linda W — Google review
Our experience with the guided drive-thru tour was nothing but fantastic! So many different animals - and they came right up to your window. Our kids loved it! After booking a few days in advance, we arrived ~15 mins early and just waited until they opened the gate. Not a lot of communication, but it works perfectly well. Everyone was pleasant and the tour guide was great. The animals follow the guide around like some kind of chaotic parade. Kinda funny to witness.

Great place for kids under 12! A lot of activity’s such as easy, intermediate and hard. If you homeschool I suggest this playground. Many covered picnic areas for large parties. Indoor bathroom as well. Very clean. No ants. Very impressed with this park. Great for playdates and solo mom park trips! The whole perimeter is fenced off and has a kid proof gate. Very safe.

Brenda C — Google review
It started as “just another Saturday morning,” but my kids had other plans—big ones. They’d heard whispers from friends at school about a magical place called Common Ground Playground. So, coffee in hand, I loaded everyone into the car, not fully prepared for what we were about to discover. From the moment we pulled up, I could tell this wasn’t an ordinary playground. The colors popped, the space felt alive, and laughter carried on the breeze like music. My little one made a beeline for the swings, while my oldest stopped in awe at the climbing structures that looked like something straight out of an adventure book. Even I couldn’t help but smile—it was a rare sight to see a place designed with all kids in mind. What impressed me most was the inclusivity. Every path, ramp, and play zone made it clear this playground was built so no child feels left out. Whether running, rolling, climbing, or sliding—there’s a spot for everyone. I found myself grateful that our community has something so intentional and beautiful, a place where differences disappear and kids find common ground (pun totally intended). We stayed far longer than planned—snacks were shared, new friends were made, and my kids asked the inevitable question on the way out: “Can we come back tomorrow?” This isn’t just a playground—it’s an experience, a memory-maker, and a reminder of what community really means. If you’re looking for a spot where joy is contagious and inclusion is the rule, not the exception, Common Ground Playground is it.

Barnett Family Park is a great place for kids to play! The splash pad is a fun way to cool off, and there’s a separate play area for younger children (up to age 5), which was open when we visited. Unfortunately, the bigger playground was under construction. Overall, it’s a nice, family-friendly park with plenty of space for kids to run around and have fun! Public bathroom was available.

There is a playground for your kids and a snack bar also. You can watch the City hall of Lakeland and a Lakeland Electric company building that is the highest nearby. Good scenery and you can take a picture in any other direction. Come, with your precious people and relax your life.

It's a nice spot for kids to play. It's lacking a lil in the water park area. No you can't fire up grills. No dogs allowed in the Playground area or water park area. I've seen where people bring their dog and make them stay outside. That's just not cool. Go to a dog park if you have a dog.

Lake Morton is a serene destination known for its pristine waters and tranquil atmosphere. The well-maintained walking trails around the lake offer breathtaking views of the surroundings, including crystal-clear waters and beautiful cypress trees. Visitors can enjoy observing a variety of waterfowl such as swans, geese, ducks, pelicans, egrets, herons, and other birds in their natural habitat.
Great place to walk around the lake feed the swans and ducks food from vending for 25¢.Benches around to relax and take in the sunset. Also few picnic seating areas

The lake is beautiful. It was hard to find parking near a picnic table because they were either full or no parking spot near by so we ended up eating in the car but the scenery was still beautiful with the swans and ducks. So peaceful
Adela — Google review
Beautiful place. Very well maintained and developed so it limits extensive interaction between humans and wildlife such as by not having a sidewalk on the lake side, instead it is lake, road, then side walk in and around the homes. No trash present. Did witness some people throwing fishing nets and I do not know if that is legal, but if it is even with a fishing license, it seems highly inappropriate to do at this place. It doesn't fit the scene. (If it isn't allowed, police should patrol more frequently and get these people because it is affecting wildlife and endangering them and tampering with all the birds there too.)
A F — Google review
Lake Morton was a pleasant surprise on our visit to the area. We found it by accident; however, we were so happy that we parked and walked along the lake. While there we saw an incredible number of waterfowl including large Pelicans, different varieties of Swans, Egrets, Herons, and other beautiful birds. We are bird watchers and Lake Morton is a bird enthusiasts paradise. We were able to get within inches of nesting swans and other birds.

Simply austinishing. The wildlife appears to have a great time. The lake is very clean and the pasture is well kept. The city of Lakeland did an amazing job at keeping this lake in top condition. Good for picnics as well

Absolutely beautiful place to come and see wildlife and birds. The upkeep and care taken for the area is great. Be respectful of the birds and bring your families to enjoy.
Chris M — Google review
Actually had tears when moving an hour away, but still love to visit! Very relaxing, can watch from a bench or a beach blanket or take a stroll around the lake. Can combine with a trip to the library. Unique mute swans were gifted to the city from England. Black swans, pelicans, ducks, and lots of other birds to enjoy too. ***PLEASE FEED ONLY APPROVED FOODS, NO BREAD, FRENCH FRIES OR OTHER JUNK FOOD*** Normally I bring a container of oatmeal which they all like and it's easy to carry plus a romaine or leaf lettuce (tear up for the swans, they love it) per person. Have tried thawed frozen peas and uncooked rice which are approved too, but not as well received. Best to bring hand sanitizer too as some eat from your hands if you want them to. NEARBY is Lake Mirror which features Hollis Gardens (its ok to walk to the top of the fountain unless there is a chain across the steps indicating a private event) and Barnet Family Park with splash pad. While Lake Morton has the swans, Lake Mirror has numerous paved walkways and beautiful grounds. While Lake Morton is my fav bc of the swans, Lake Mirror is a close second.

What can I say, this spot is amazing. My son and I go here allllll the time. The birds are all so sweet and FRIENDLY!!!! they've all been socialized and they all coexist together it's amazing to see. We see so much nature here and could stay for hours

The Frank Lloyd Wright Visitor Center at Florida Southern College in Lakeland, Florida, is a must-visit for architecture enthusiasts. It houses the largest collection of Wright's architecture in the world, with 13 buildings designed by the renowned architect between 1938 and 1959. Visitors can explore iconic structures such as the Annie Pfeiffer Chapel and the Usonian House while learning about Wright's design principles and vision for the campus.
Florida Southern College in Lakeland is home to the largest collection of Frank Lloyd Wright’s architecture in one location. Designed between 1938 and 1959, the campus features 13 stunning structures, making it a must-visit for architecture enthusiasts. Wright called his vision for the college the “Child of the Sun,” aiming to create buildings that harmonized with Florida’s landscape. One of the most striking features is the Annie Pfeiffer Chapel, with its soaring geometric tower and intricate stained glass windows. The Water Dome is another highlight—a massive circular fountain that was fully restored to Wright’s original vision. The Esplanades, covered walkways that connect the buildings, showcase his signature use of organic design. The campus is recognized as a National Historic Landmark and offers guided tours for visitors. The combination of textile-block construction and innovative use of light makes these structures truly unique. Whether you’re a fan of Wright’s work or simply appreciate great design, this architectural gem is worth a visit!

A must for architecture lovers The Frank Lloyd Wright tour at Florida Southern College was a fantastic experience. The campus has the largest collection of Wright's work in one place, and seeing his vision come to life in so many buildings is truly impressive. Our guide was knowledgeable and passionate, sharing great insights and stories that added a lot to the experience. Whether you're an architecture enthusiast or just curious, it’s definitely worth the visit. Beautiful design, fascinating history, and a unique part of Florida you might not expect!

As big fans of Frank Lloyd Wright, a trip through Lakeland brought us to FSC. We were able to take a tour and visit the College grounds. It felt like we had walked where FLW had walked nearly a century before. There were many nice gift ideas in the Welcome Center, but we felt the best gift would be the memories of the tour. What a treat! Our only regret is that we couldn’t come during a cooler season. We suggest a trip between October and March would be much more comfortable.

My kids and I visited. Paid five dollars for a map and did a self-guided tour. Was super hot outside, but it’s nice with the esplanades for shade. Everything is not too far of a walk. The fountain came on exactly 3 minutes late (just in case you’re trying to time it for a special occasion or photography!)

This is a once in a life time for our family. My father in law studied under frank lloyd wright apprentice in college. When he came here he’s like a kid in candy store. The tour guide gave so much information with passion. The is as important piece of this work as much as falling water house. We spent about 3-4 hours walking around the campus. The college is so well maintained and kept the original pieces and documents really well. I can’t express how grateful we are to experience this.

If you're on campus primarily to look at the FLW architecture, start here - there's a lovely gift shop and a tour available of the Usonian house next door, and they can give you a map of the campus and a sticker to let folks know what you're up to. The tour was great and it includes a video about the campus that is worth watching before you walk around.

This is the world’s largest collection of Frank Lloyd Wright buildings. It is considered one of the most beautiful campuses in the United States. It fronts Lake Mirror. I took the 2PM tour which takes you inside 3 of the 13 Wright designed structures. The buildings we entered were the Usonian faculty house, Roux library and the beautiful Annie Pfeiffer Chapel. The tour is 1.5 hours. The visitor center and gift shop are next to the Usonian house. I highly recommend this tour. There are several other tours available. Check the website. This tour is at 11AM and 2PM 6 days a week. Reservations recommended 24 hrs before the scheduled tour. There is plenty of parking.

This place is amazing. My girls had ab absolute blast and they are 5 and 9. They got to try things they'd never have dreamed of. My only complaint is the relax and recharge chairs HURT. I did 15 minutes and my back hates me now. Ahaha. They need modes on those things. But otherwise it was a great experience. Everyone should go at least once.

This place is great. The only thing that I don’t like is that some days they’ll let my youngest go down the slide and use the zip line and other days they’ll tell me no because he is supposed to be 7 and it does not matter if their birthday is only a couple months away, they will not allow it. It’s just inconsistent. He is quite used to doing the slides and the zip line because he was able to do that when we lived in North Carolina. I think six-year-olds are fine to go down the slides, we do sign the waivers. Other than that I really liked that the place is very well lit and open.

I celebrated a friend's son’s birthday party, and my son had such a great time. 🤩 At first, my son was sad that there wasn’t a ball pit as he saw in a photo on a Sky Zone flyer, but after walking around the space, he had such a great time. He wanted to keep jumping. 😆 I love how they shout out the birthday celebrators over the microphone, and everyone cheers, Lol. The employees also provided excellent service and were very attentive. If you throw a birthday party, depending on the package, one of the party favors included is to return for free, so we’re excited to go back. 🤩

This attraction is not safe for children of any age and should be closed until safety inprovements are completed and inspected. There is a huge hole atleast 10ft deep in the center of the area. The only barrier protecting someone from falling inside the hole is plastic yellow tape. The hole is right next to the kids zone and there is no staff or other preventetive measures to keep children from just walking over and falling in the hole. The trapoline metal springs are not properly covered kids are hurting themselves. The staff are not trained to monitor or prevent safety and for the amount of attendes at any giving hour, there are not enough staff to monitor each area. On top of the saftey issues, the staff are not welcoming and the facility is unsanitary.

I hosted my son's 9th birthday party at Sky Zone and unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations. First, I found the pricing for the “ultimate package” to be quite high considering the services provided. Unlike many other venues that offer dedicated party rooms for the entire duration, Sky Zone requires you to stay in the public areas while the kids jump, which felt disorganized and confusing. I arrived 45 minutes early to see if we could access our room early, given that I am 9.5 months pregnant, but was informed by the manager that we could not enter until our designated time without paying an extra fee. Additionally, we had planned to bring an ice cream cake, but were told there was no available freezer or fridge for storage, which forced me to make a last-minute trip to Walmart for a cake since we live 45 minutes away. The party host was not very helpful, and I ended up managing everything myself, including correcting a mistake with our pizza order that had been confirmed just 45 minutes prior to the party. To make matters worse, I was asked to take care of payment during the birthday song, as the person responsible had to leave. Finally, we were asked to leave the room five minutes before our scheduled end time, and my last guest was denied entry to jump despite us having an hour remaining and an unused pass. I would recommend considering other venues if you’re looking for a better experience. Urban Air, for example, offers more competitive prices and better customer service. Overall, my experience at Sky Zone was disappointing, and I felt that the management could have been more attentive throughout our party or even visited to apologize for their mistakes. I will never rebook.

Museums
Located in the beautiful Bonnet Springs Park in Lakeland, Florida, the Florida Children's Museum is a 48,000 square foot facility that offers three floors of interactive exhibits and educational games for kids. The museum is designed to be inclusive and has partnered with organizations to ensure it is autism-friendly. Kids can also enjoy outdoor play at the Harrell Family Charities Front Yard, featuring a 100-ft-long Blinky the Alligator play structure.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 stars What an absolute gem in Central Florida! The Florida Children’s Museum in Lakeland is an amazing destination for families with kids of all ages. Before you even go inside, the fun starts with Blinky the Alligator, a giant yellow slide playground right out front. (Pro tip: bring a towel or boogie board for sliding if it’s hot!) Inside, you’re greeted by DOT the Dragon, a huge sculpture full of toys — setting the tone for nonstop imagination and play. 🎟️ Tickets are reasonably priced: $20 general admission, $16 for Florida residents, and they even offer a $2 discount for military and first responders. Memberships are a great deal too — $150 for two adults and it pays for itself in just a few visits. 🧒 The first floor is packed with hands-on fun for infants to early school-age kids. From an adorable watermelon garden area for kids under 6, to interactive air tables, building blocks, and a glowing Lite-Brite wall — there’s something for every developmental stage. 🎵 Head up to the second floor for music, noise, pretend play, and exploration! Our favorites were the grocery store, the veterinarian clinic, weather station, food truck, police department (with costumes!), and the loud room where kids can bang away on drums and pans. 👶 Our 6-month-old loved the infant area, and our friends’ toddler had the time of his life. The space never felt overwhelming — just the right crowd size, friendly staff, and plenty of room to explore at your own pace. 💡 Bonus: This museum is part of Bonnet Springs Park, so you can easily make it a full-day outing. We’ll definitely be back again as our little one grows. If you’re within an hour or two, it’s 100% worth the trip!

We had a great time at the museum. There were plenty of fun, hands on activities for our two and a half year old. Really appreciated the wide spaces—made for great areas to park the stroller and go have fun. The only thing I have to subtract a star for is the less than polite woman at the front desk, who literally panic yelled at me “SIR!!!!! SIRRRR!!!!” From her chair (laziness) to let me know I couldn’t bring my coffee back into the playroom. There could’ve been a more personable way to say what you had to say but I understand the rules. Proper, more visible signage that says “NO FOOD OR DRINK” would’ve been nice to see, rather than to hear her crotchety voice echo through the main lobby. We can do better there. 🙃

We enjoyed a special Rotary fundraiser that was held in the children’s museum. I had no idea there was such a great event space inside. It was excellent. I gather the space was setup a lot differently than day to day operations for the event, but I would definitely recommend you look into it for your larger event needs

It was pretty busy being peak time on a weekend but it was still fun. My kids had so much fun playing in the city park. The musuem was clean, and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. A great place for kids to play and learn during these extremely hot summer days.

We are frequent visitors and my littles love the hands on exploratory areas. Their favorite is the outdoor play area with large alligator slide. There are 2 growing issues that have made our last few visits not-so enjoyable. 1- parents not supervising or guiding their children. 2- The play areas are not being kept up. Things are broken or not working and play items are not in their designated areas. Several play items were visibly dirty as well. Staff occasionally walk through the areas but they dont pick up or organize. Overall a nice indoor space for kiddos but needs to be better maintained.

This place was really cool my daughter loved it she said it was a 10/10 she said her favorite areas were the watermelon seeds and the city projects and I agree with her the place is very very clean and very spacious a nice variety of stations for the little ones to roam and spread out and enjoy their imagination there’s two levels of fun also the playground is very nice and well kept we will be retuning often for my daughter to enjoy.

The rooms are creatively designed, challenging yet fun to solve. From the moment you step in, the venue welcomes you with complimentary water cups, comfortable seating, and captivating decorations. The game masters are incredibly helpful and ensure that your experience is enjoyable.
This Escapology location went above and beyond when I called with a last minute schedule issue. They worked with me to make sure my boys had the best birthday experience! I really appreciate it. When we arrived, one of the boys attending was nervous and unsure if he wanted to participate. The staff member helped him feel at ease, showing him he had the ability to move out of the room and to the lobby with his parent any time he wanted. She made sure he felt no pressure to participate unless he wanted to. He ended up being one of the most excited about the experience and can't wait to return. Thank you so much!

We had an amazing family night here with our kids (ages 10 and 11), and it was an absolute blast! It was the perfect mix of fun and teamwork. We loved how it brought us closer as a family—boosting our communication and celebrating our kids’ creativity. The staff knew just when to drop helpful hints, keeping the experience exciting without giving too much away. All around, a fantastic time full of laughs, bonding, and great memories!

Went today for my boyfriends 25th birthday and omg we had such amazing time! Both Abby and Eric were so engaging and sweet. They gave us such an amazing experience. It was incredible! We did the chemical warfare and it was our first ever escape room and it was difficult but very fun. Absolutely worth it! We are looking forward to coming back next week!

My lovely wife and I recently moved into the area and went on an escape room date night. Eric was very helpful on the phone answering questions about what room would be best for just two people (though experienced with escape games). We went with Lost City and Abby was a fun and sweet game master. We got out with a few minutes left. Fun room. Had a tech malfunction near the end that game master Abby helped us through. Good times.

f you're looking for a thrilling, immersive escape room adventure, The Lost City Treasure is a must-try! From the moment you step inside, you're transported into an ancient jungle temple filled with mystery, traps, and hidden secrets. The room design is stunning — with realistic props, atmospheric lighting, and sound effects that make you feel like you're in a real-life Indiana Jones movie. The puzzles were well thought-out and varied in style — a perfect mix of logic, observation, and teamwork. We especially loved how each clue built on the last, leading us deeper into the “temple” toward the final treasure. It’s not just a lock-and-key game — you’ll encounter interactive mechanisms, hidden compartments, and clever surprises around every corner. The game master was fantastic — friendly, helpful, and clearly passionate about the experience. They gave just enough hints to keep us moving without spoiling the fun. If you’re craving adventure and a mental challenge, The Lost City Treasure delivers an unforgettable experience. We escaped with just seconds to spare

Munn Park, a long-established urban green space in Lakelands Historic District, boasts expansive lawns and towering foliage. Featuring fountains, a memorial, and numerous benches, this centrally located park serves as a hub for various events throughout the year. One of its notable attractions is a monthly free festival held on the First Friday of each month. This festival showcases local artisans at the Makers Market and offers opportunities to explore downtown shops and restaurants.
I love this park!🫶🏾 It’s well lit, surrounded by restaurants, offices and people. I travelled alone and felt safe just sitting and relaxing after dinner. I walked down there both nights and there was music, people dancing, children playing. Right across from Harry.s Seafood and Palace pizza is down the sidewalk. I hung out at the park 2 out of my 3 nights after dinner, and s little stroll downtown. Small town. ✨Gives Lifetime Christmas movie vibes. ✨️🎄🎅🏾

MUNN PARK in Lakeland, FLORIDA is a unique space in our City. City Gov’t, Non-Profits & Citizens of Lakeland have worked tirelessly to bring this Space up to an Event Area that’s Attractive, Useful & Safe! It has been greatly since we moved here 17 or so yrs. ago. Merchants on the Square & DRA have worked well together! A weekly highlight is the FARMER’s Market, Every Saturday except during August!

Great little downtown park! I love all the events that are held here in conjunction with the markets and things. It also is decorated so nice at the holidays! I wish there was a small public restroom. Its nearly impossible to find somewhere to use the restroom in downtown, especially with a small child.

Family friendly park and pleasant place to visit especially during December. The lighting is amazing and enjoyable for all ages. Kids can have a lot of fun going around the park. Lots of spots for selfies, family portrait photos and just looking around. This place is conveniently located in downtown and lot of restaurants nearby. There is parking on the streets which is free after 5 Pm and during weekends. There is a parking garage within walking distance if needed.

The Munn Park is located in the downtown of Lakeland, Fl, its little, with good location around many restaurants, offices, and local city offices. We have been coming here for years and it used to be fun. Now the place is falling to shambles. Way less machines and most games are either malfunctioning or not working at all. The only new machines are the ones that you are trying to catch something to immediately gain a ton of points. White collar crime at its best…. And in a place for children. The owner should be ashamed of himself and invest some money in the place. Not everything can be profits.
Eillim C — Google review
Great place if you get a room for your party but if they're overbooked they don't tell you they take your deposit and put your party in an open area with no privacy. We couldn't hear our party and anyone from the public could come in and join our group. No notice was given that we would be stuck in the open seating area and we paid the same price as the lucky parties that got private rooms. No apology from the incompetent manager, he told us our open area was best since we had more room than the private rooms. We rented what we thought would be a private room for a private party. Make sure you clarify you are getting an actual room before booking. Otherwise you have a loud open area with no ability to hear or celebrate your kids party.

The Family Fun Center offers a wide range of exciting activities and amenities that cater to the entire family. From an array of games to golfing, delicious food, and a spacious, well-organized environment, this place truly has something for everyone. One of the highlights of our visit was the extensive selection of games. The variety ensured that everyone in our family, regardless of age or interests, found something enjoyable to participate in. The games were well-maintained, and we never encountered any technical issues. For those with a penchant for golf, this place offers a well-designed miniature golf course. The course was challenging yet suitable for all skill levels, providing a great opportunity for some friendly competition. The landscaping and overall ambiance of the course added to the enjoyment. When it came to refueling, Family Fun center did not disappoint. The food options were diverse. The quality of the food was commendable, and the prices were reasonable given the overall experience. The spaciousness and organization of Family fun center were praiseworthy. Despite being a popular destination, it never felt overcrowded, allowing us to fully enjoy our time without feeling rushed or cramped. The seating areas were comfortable and well-maintained, providing a pleasant space to relax and recharge between activities. our visit to the Family Fun Center was a delight from start to finish. The diverse range of games, trampoline park, golfing, delicious food, and the spacious, well-organized environment created an immersive experience that left a lasting impression on our family. We highly recommend this place as a fantastic destination for families seeking a fun-filled day of entertainment and quality bonding time.

We first came for a bday party about 6 months ago and my toddler loved it. Since then, we try to make the trip out so our 3 year old can have fun. He loves everything here, including the funtasia play place. But I have to rave about one of their employees that was running the funtasia. Her name is Liz and she is the absolute best. We have encountered her there twice now and she’s so sweet and friendly and our toddler LOVES her. We just went back today and she remembered our little one after only seeing him once a few weeks ago. She blew some bubbles for him a few times and he loved it. She is an absolute gem and an asset to the company because you can tell she really has fun with the kids. Great place, not overly priced. Thanks for giving our kiddo such a fun place for cheap!

We had a birthday party for our 2 y/o and they handled everything! Food and unlimited drinks + a personal assistant to keep the party moving smoothly. She served all the guests and was so helpful in keeping the chaos under control. Made the stress of a birthday party so much less. All I had to do was supply the birthday cake and balloons. The rest was covered and the kids had plenty to do for fun.

It was super affordable too. I highly recommend it!

PicassoZ Art Cafe is a delightful haven for art enthusiasts and families alike, where creativity knows no bounds! This charming spot invites you to unleash your inner artist through pottery painting, making it an ideal activity for all ages. With a vast selection of ceramic pieces to choose from, you'll find yourself wandering the aisles in awe before settling on your canvas. Families can bond over fun projects like handprints on mugs or whimsical animal designs—imagine painting an adorable elephant mug or turtle box!
Come to PicassoZ to channel your inner picasso! (or Van Gogh, as is my preference) Pottery painting is a really enjoyable activity that’s pretty appropriate for most ages. I’ve even seen parents come in, paint their kids’ hand and then print it on the ceramic which is a super cute idea. There are so many pottery varieties to choose from you need like 5-10 minutes just to walk around and gauge options. The prices should be written on the bottom of each piece. It’s not cheap to go to any pottery painting place so keep that in mind- once you pick out the piece and paint it how you want, they glaze and fire it for you so you’re paying for the whole service beyond just painting. You can also create a mosaic which is a fun change up if you don’t want to paint- it’s also much more forgiving if art isn’t a higher up skill of yours. They give you instructions to take home on how to apply the grout too which is helpful. The workers have always been really nice. They now have an upstairs area too, so even if it seems busy in the main part there’s other space. And, they share a building with Tea Largo so many people get an açaí bowl or boba to enjoy while they paint. I like to stop at Pour Bear Coffee for some caffeine to bring along. PicassoZ really is as fun as its name- it’s colorful and good and inviting, and seeing the finishing product of your ceramic may be the best part!

This is the perfect place if you need a little artsy release! They charge for what you paint whether it be ceramics, pottery, or mosaics. I went and made a little fairy, and trust me I will be back to make a mushroom house! All in all this a great place and I wish I would’ve found it sooner! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Fun time with the family. I really didn’t expect to have so much fun painting but I surprise myself. I am not that great in the art department, but The atmosphere was pleasant enough for me to give it a try. This was my first time trying this and I’ll be back. Don’t worry it looks a lot better the glazing process.

So much fun!!! My mom and I went for a belated mother day adventure, and had a fantastic time. We were there for almost 3 hours (we are indecisive on what we wanted to paint haha), but it didnt feel that long. There is "Tea Largo" next door that has coffee/match/acai bowls if you want while you are painting. Can't wait to see the final outcome!!! It takes 5-10 days for them to process it. I will update the pics after they are done 😊 you also do not need to have any artistic ability to participate, all the paints are water soluble, so just rinse it off or use a wet tip to fix the mistakes.
Christy F — Google review
Very nicely run place. Unique date night idea worked out very well. Healthy snacks drinks and coffee in the adjoining "tea largo". Paint your own ceramic of your choice with paints and brushes provided at your table. Plenty of choices from coffee mugs to animals to figurines. Then they glaze and finish your piece to be picked up later. My daughter and granddaughter had fun on our date. Highly recommended.
Glenn S — Google review
My daughters and I love going here. It's the perfect environment to let your artistic side bloom. And Tea Largo is connected, so you can enjoy their delicious bowls.

Wonderful place for the family, fun and clean. Full of fun art pieces for you and your kids to paint and it’s easy! The price isn’t horrible and it’s a bonus that tealargo is connected to make it the much more of a one stop shop for fun and food.

Great experience at the Lakeland Community Theatre! We attended "Honk! Jr." as a family. We saw a matinee show with our school group. Theater was packed! Performers were excellent 👌 Entire performance was wonderful 👏 Nice clean, and comfortable seats. Restrooms were also very clean. Overall great experience. Highly recommend.

I just volunteered at a performance of the Great American Trailer Park which was rated PG13 Sunday at 2pm. The theater was only about 1/2 full. The f-bomb flew throughout the play as well as sexual comments and gestures and the use of drugs... and the singers screamed words rather than singing them. I noticed a bunch of people left at intermission and I did not see anyone smiles or laugh as people departed the theater at the end of the performance. It is sad because the plays used to be quite good. People attend plays to be entertained and this performance was not entertaining nor properly rated. Whoever is in charge needs to rethink the mission statement of the theater.

We had my daughter’s birthday party here and everyone had such a great time. We had ages from 5 to 11 and everyone was able to participate. On a spontaneous trip, I discovered the delightful Kid Cafe, a haven for toddlers seeking indoor fun away from the sweltering heat. This charming venue had been on my radar thanks to recommendations from fellow moms, and it certainly lived up to expectations! With its thoughtful design prioritizing cleanliness—like a no-shoes policy—the cafe eases parental worries about germs.
Loved our first visit at Kid Cafe!! I came with my 1 year old and 5 year old and both wear entertained for 2 1/2 hours!! The owner and staff were all so kind and obviously very caring!!! My kids loved it and I loved that it was safe and clean!! They thought of everything even down to having extra diapers and wipes in the bathroom! We will definitely be back and I recommend if you’re looking for something fun and easy to do with your kids!

We’ve been coming here since the first day they opened! My toddler loves this place! The owner is extremely proactive at making sure all the equipment is super safe, clean, and frequently updated. We had our daughter’s 3rd birthday party on a Saturday at Kid Cafe and the booking process was straight forward, clear, and very easy. We loved that we had the whole place to ourselves on the weekend day! The owner was very clear that there were no parties allowed during weekday general admission times. I’ve seen parents try to throw improv birthday parties during the week and I love that she puts the general admission kids first. Prioritizing the space be available during general admission for walk-in kids and their parents and not at capacity due to an excess amount of adults for one child’s improvised, weekday birthday party. 10/10 recommend!

All children must eat their snacks in the cafe area no food in play area. Ball pit climbing with with slide ,wall activities. Great place for little to play

This place is so cute! I take my 2 year old daughter and she plays non stop until it’s time to leave and she still isn’t ready to go. It’s always clean, the age limit is perfect so you don’t have to worry about bigger kids being too rowdy around the smaller kids. It’s affordable and there isn’t a fee for the adults which is nice. Definitely recommend to parents with 0-4 year olds :)
Destiny P — Google review
I really wanted to love this place because it looks so cute, cheap entry and close to home. Parking is limited so had to wait for a spot, did not see an overflow lot anywhere and didn’t want to go across the busy street with a toddler. The lobby smells very strong like fragrance and when I asked if they use plug ins I got a rude response saying it’s the cleaners. I am sensitive to strong smells so that immediately gave me a headache. Babies shouldn’t be breathing in toxic chemicals like that anyways. The play room is really small and also had a musty smell so could be mold growing as well. I wanted to immediately leave but let my son play for the 45 minutes which was all that I could take. Some of the areas looked dirty but overall the set up was nice, lots to do and great sensory walls. The event cafe room would probably be better suited for more play space. Only had a kids toilet in the bathroom wth and can’t see your items once you put them down in the cubby. Won’t be going back.

I found out about this place through a friend, and I’m so glad I did, especially as a parent of a child on the spectrum. It’s truly been a game-changer for us. My child had such a great time that I practically had to drag them out of the play area (in the best way possible)! The lady at the front also let me know that ABA therapists are welcome to come in for sessions, which is such a thoughtful and inclusive option. First time here and I absolutely loved it! The front desk lady was super nice and answered all of mine & my husband's questions. This is a safe and clean environment for kids. The way they designed it is super cute! Wish I could remember her name because she was just the best but I'm not good with names. She gave me a tour of the whole place and as we were going from room to room She explained each area very well. I love it so much I decided to get a membership which has great benefits! The best part my daughter enjoyed her self so much she didn't want to leave. I would definitely recommend this place.

We had a blast today! So many different areas and toys to play. My little one was busy for hours. Clean area and friendly staff!
Sisali — Google review
My daughter thoroughly enjoys the creative environment, and I have never experienced an environment and Owner, who is so open and understanding to ensuring not just the customers, but the children have a positive education educational experience. I’m convinced other people who reviewed poorly liked the full spectrum of information or ability to have a conversation. I had a different experience and the owner intended and allowed my reactive behavior to not give them the opportunity to discuss it and I really regret it. They were wonderful at helping me find solutions to the problems that I found alongside extremely compassionate to my experience. Thank you so much for being patient with me and helping me resolve issues and I will be looking forward to coming back with my child quite frequently!

I’ve been to almost every indoor playground around the Polk area this is by far the cleanest and nicest indoor playground staff stays to themselves they don’t really talk or friendly really.. I was there for two 1/2 hours today the receptionist was on her phone the whole time with the gate open the two hours I was there but we still had fun I come every week now my babies love it 🩷

Lovely place to bring kids up to age 7 years old. Staff is very helpful, and the place is well equipped and clean.

The sleek and modern atmosphere enhances your visit, making it visually appealing as well.
Fun for everyone that enjoys sim racing! I love the setup and the atmosphere. Paul was fun, engaging, and informative on how to run the simulator. The price is high for the amount of time on the simulator, but I understand. I'm sure prices will come down once business picks up. Please come by and support them so we can continue to have new things to do in Lakeland.

Awesome setups awesome staff. Refreshments on tap and some snacks. Racing setups are solid with good equipment. Great place to hang out with friends and try to beat each other's times Simulation lovers they have Assetto Corsa Competizione and EA WRC More casual gamers they have Forza horizon and some PlayStations with a bunch of controller games

The sim rigs were a ton of fun and the staff and environment were very welcoming. I had never used a sim racing wheel before but this was a ton of fun! I've gone back again since my first time and I'll be trying it out some more!

Great place for EVERYONE! The staff is super nice, and the whole place feels like walking into the nicest garage ever polished like a diamond, with that unbeatable feeling of finally finding your lost 10mm socket. And let’s not forget the rush of racing like a bat out of hell, but without the real life consequences.
Andres D — Google review
I went to this lounge to see what it was all about and it is awesome! the racing simulations are highly realistic and even contain lots of features you would find in a normal car. the service was incredible and the employees gave me an amazing guide on how to work the gaming consoles. the atmosphere of the entire facility is very sleek and pleasing to the eye. i will definitely be returning in the future

Christina Park offers a delightful experience for visitors participating in or spectating at softball tournaments. The park provides ample space to relax and enjoy the games, with various pleasant areas to explore on foot or by bike. One can find shade under picturesque trees while relishing the beautiful weather. Additionally, families can take advantage of the playground and make use of the concession stand and soda vending machines available. Although parking may be slightly limited, it is still sufficient to accommodate visitors.
Nice park with lots of space for walking and playing. Pavilions are great too!
Nick E — Google review
Visited Christina Park for my little one to play ball at the girls softball complex. A very beautiful well established park all around. The playground was perfect for after the game! Restrooms are well kept. There is also a screened pavilion available to rent at the entry of the park.
Janelle G — Google review
Beautiful park. Nice facilities. Our group rented a screened pavilion for a picnic. Everything was clean and well maintained including the bathrooms. The only problem is the parking. There are so many events here that it was hard to find a parking place.
Jennifer N — Google review
We were here for a softball tournament, we had a great time! Lots of great areas to hang out and watch a game, walk around, ride a bike, sit, relax, and enjoy beautiful weather under some trees. They also have a playground. Parking is a little small for the amount of people but you will find a spot. They have a concession stand & soda vending machines. Perfect for the entire family.
Coach P — Google review
Only "fair" compared to some of the other parks offered by Polk County. On the small size - but that could be viewed as a plus. Trees add charm and much needed (and appreciated) shade. Bathrooms open but . . . icky.

30th annual Father's Day Car Show . Awesome

Fun, wide open, yet lots of shaded seating! Tons of parking, a couple baseball diamonds, public restrooms😅 great if you have kids! Something for everyone!
Deborah K — Google review
From my experience this place is great for big parties! It has an enclosed area and an open area with roof for whichever party you choose to have there. You can bring or rent a bounchouse and have it there and stuff like that!
