So, Finally Visited this Vegetarian extravaganza in Parkstreet after 2 yrs... And am not surprised that the they went from being Great to Fantastic. There's no doubt in how well maintained and decorated they keep the restaurant interiors and decors and the Service provided by the staff is swift but clean. For food, You cannot ask for anything better.... Cause maybe they are the one who set the standards... Everything you try from croque to pizza and Shakes to Cappuccino, They make it a surety that you get the best in both quantity as well quality. A good restaurant serving conti food. It's a vegetarian place, so it's a great place to go for those who don't like visiting places where non veg is also served. The garlic bread was too good, cheesy and delicious. The mixed sauce pasta was delicious as well. The ginger basil mojito was refreshing.

This place is my go-to spot for dining out with friends! The food has been consistently delicious for the past 10 years, and I'm particularly obsessed with their cheese fondue. They also offer an amazing variety of vegetarian dishes that are full of flavor. The only thing to note is that they don't have on-site restrooms, but you can conveniently use the toilets at the adjacent cafe. Overall, the great food and variety make it a top recommendation for me!

Ordered Pizza and pasta. Both were not good. The pizza base was ready made and paying 550/- was not worth paying for that. Coming to pasta i ordered Something else they gave something else to me. And coming to the taste of pasta it was not even average. A lot of improvement is needed. My total bill was 1228/- absolute waste of my money.

Mexican Rice was good. It came with rice, vegetables and a sauce. Sauce didn’t detract, but added towards the overall flavor. A solid 4/5! 2. Fajitas. The actually fajita was of good quality. The filling, which had tofu, corn and other select veggies was a tad bit salty. Nonetheless, not bad! 3.5/5 3. The Nachos were made in restaurant and were high quality and amazing. Nachos were crunchy and a good selection of sauces and cheeses. 5/5 4. Amazing garlic bread. Creamy and filling sauce lathered on top of high quality bread. A classic! 5/5 5. Baked Potato. A tad bit salty. 3/5 6. Avocado. Yet the only disappointment if you could call it so. The way the avocado has been grinded had left no room for the creamy, uneven texture of avocado we all love. However, previous instances in which we ate this was great. 2.5/5 Brownie was good, but nothing out of the ordinary. 3.5/5 Overall I would say the food was 3.7/5, rounded up to a 4. In terms of the kitchen, hygiene might have been a bit of a issue as chefs were without gloves. Everything else, including the atmosphere, was good! A spot well hidden in the alley of south kolkata, but not a hidden gem at all. Apanjan, known for their fish fry and other fry items, has been serving Kolkata Bengalis for decades and their legacy still continues. Visited this fry corner and tried their bestseller item large fish fry, accompanied with Fish Worly and chicken fry. The fish fry doesn't need any explanation (taste wise). They use vetki fish fillet, fresh and juicy, bursts a bomb of fishy flavour and freshness, highlighted with mustard sauce and freshly cut Onions. Extremely delicious and flavourful item. The chicken fry was also very good in taste, the entire fry was made with a chicken piece, but to my disappointment, it came with a large piece of bone in it. As for the fish Worly, it was much more similar to a batter fry, very oily and crunchy, the amount of oil somehow extinguishes the craving. Overall experience was pretty good, will definitely visit again to try their other hot selling items like fish singara, fish wanton, fish kachoris, etc. Only one drawback that I felt was they have only Cash payment, no UPI or online payment option is available here. So in case you plan to taste multiple items, do carry cash 😜.

I ordered from Apanjan in Kolkata with high expectations, especially because it’s known for its fish fry. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The fish fry I received was far from what one would expect—too oily, with the crust soggy instead of crisp, and the fish inside didn’t taste fresh. Best bhetki fish fry available in Kolkata, but I personally liked their Chicken mughlai 😋 They have a wide range of varieties in their menu, the fish fry had a sweetish hint, of flavour which was unique 💯 No seating or dining facilities are available and a minimum wait of 5-10 mins is expected for sure !

This is the best place for fish based snacks like fish fry, fish roll, fish pakora, fish kochuri etc in south Calcutta. Pure vetki fish is used and quality and quantity is absolutely fantastic. I had fish roll, egg devil and fish moghlai parota and all are delicious.

The worst experience i have ever had on my first visit (and ofcourse its last too). First of all the owners' behaviour is really unprofessional and rude. We paid to QR code via HDFC Bank account UPI system, after paying them the amount was deducted from my account,but his soundbox is not giving any voice confirmation, then we showed him our account statement where its clearly mentioning paid to 'Apanjan' and to their Kotak bank account, he is blaming us by saying that we change the setting so that money can be return back to the source account, i mean how could he can give this kind of false allegations against someone? He is not having the registered mobile where he can check,but can give blame to the customers. Later we gave the statement and our ph number so that they can contact us if the money is not reach to them.

I had ordered 4 egg chicken rolls from Behala Chowrasta outlet today (27th Jan ) and all 4 rolls are burnt badly , the taste was worse actually smell of burnt rolls and chicken was not fresh at all .. Tonight I ordered two egg chicken rolls and one double egg double mutton roll from this place. My previous experience was far better than today. Note: When you order or take delivery by yourself then the size and proportion of stuffing is huge but when you buy it from delivery agencies the size and stuffing is compromised. The chicken in egg chicken roll was missing salt and tasted blunt and it was very average in taste. The double egg double mutton was good but for Rs. 250 the size and quantity of stuffing was less. Overall this time it was not good but previous experience was very good.

Food and location is average. It's in a lane beneath Jadu Kadai. Parking is on the streets adjacent to Chowrasta to beware of KP. Service is good compared to Parkstreet. Food quality has lots of room for improvement. Overall Behala has better roll options.

He ordered what he wanted us to try..Galouti with paratha, chicken biryani with mutton stew and naan Food is rich, authentic and delicious... when in Kolkata ,it's a must try. Location can found easily and their service is also good. What I can say about their biryani. It is one of the best biryani in Kolkata. Lipsmacking and will be melted in mouth. Kabab was also good.

Here’s what we ordered: 1. **Crispy Chicken with Texas Sauce** Comes in 6 large pieces, enough for 3 people with moderate appetites as a starter. **Price:** ₹595 2. **Grilled Chicken Burger with Bacon** The burger can be customized—egg can be added as well. It’s served with French fries. **Price:** ₹595 3. **Red Pepper Chicken** A grilled chicken breast topped with cheese and red pepper cream sauce. There was a buy-1-get-1 (BOGO) offer, so we paired this with the burger. **Price:** ₹595 4. **Teacher's Highland Cream** This also had a BOGO offer, so we ordered 2 x 60ml. **Price:** ₹370 5. **Brownie Sundae** We didn’t actually order this, but due to a mistake in serving the burger, we informed "Uttam," who not only replaced it immediately with a fresh burger (and added mashed potato this time), but also offered this dessert complimentary! **Price:** ₹370 We were so full by the end that we even packed the burger with the mashed potato. We were simply overwhelmed by the top-notch hospitality and service provided by Uttam and Kanai! **Minor Note:** The toilet had a foul smell, and the washbasin splashed water. I recently visited Chili’s at Acropolis Mall with a group of friends after pre-booking our table through Zomato. The experience was smooth from the start — our table was ready upon arrival, and the staff was courteous and attentive throughout our meal. We ordered quite a variety of dishes to share, and each one brought something unique to the table: 1. Crispy Bites Chicken - Rs. 430 2. Southwest Chicken Pizza - Rs. 610 3. Chipotle Quesadillas - Rs. 590 4. Pasta Parmesan Cruste - Rs. 595 5. Chicken Fajita with egg - Rs. 610+80 6. Margherita Flatbread - Rs. 490 7. Boneless Wings 16 - Rs. 560 Overall, Chili’s gave us a great dining experience. The food was flavorful, the portions were generous, and the ambience was lively — perfect for a casual hangout with friends.

We had to wait 15 minutes in a queue even though we had a reservation. The only good thing about the food was that it looked colourful. The food as well as the condiments were extremely bland. The pork in the burger was flavorful but that's about it. The fajita was a failure, it definitely didn't sizzle and lacked flavour overall. We expected a lot from the reviews but were disappointed.

We had a lively Sunday lunch experience, with the place buzzing with energy! The food was mostly great, with all dishes impressing us except for the smoked quesadilla. However, the ordering process was seamless, and our server was prompt and professional.

Getting sick from a main course makes any other positive irrelevant. This single-star rating is for the Bhetki fish, which ruined the entire meal and our health.

Just 5 mins walking distance from Sovabazar metro station, this is a century old iconic eatery. I saw some reels and went to give it a try. Ambience is nice, Tiny place with old simple furniture, but beat & clean, well lit with a touch of bonediana. The ceiling is enogh to give away its age. Coming to the food, we had fish cutlet and mutton kabirazi. Taste was very good, but it is a pricier than you'd expect for these dishes in calcutta. Overall nice experince for a quick bite. No parking is available, though u can do it at your own risk.

One cannot guess how old this restaurant is , embarking upon its history this food shop sits just within the walking distance from Shovabazar metro. I tried their fish butter fry and mutton steak and to my surprise the steak came steaming within some tangy broth. The food was good enough and I would recommend everyone to try out this place.

Target was to have fish kabiraji, but service person suggested to have batter fry fish, very thin layer of fish, you can see the pics almost no show kind layer of maida, nope not enjoyed, next item mutton stake, a mutton cutlet type with very less presence of minced mutton was swiming in sauce. Visited Saturday afternoon for a Post Valentine's Day. Smart decor, well stocked bar and nice food options. The bartender created drinks off the menu which was a nice touch. But food service is super slow and servers seem slightly lost Food however, was great. Pork Rack was succulent and juicy with a nice whiskey glaze. Tuscan Pizza was brilliant and Sizzling Brownie worked perfect for us. Overall, great place. Surely going back for more.

Also loved the Mango Madness specials — the mocktails were refreshing, the cocktails had great options, and the Coconut Mango Panna Cotta was the perfect sweet ending. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would definitely recommend it for a casual and fun meal out.

Only a few items were available when we arrived here in the late evening. We ordered Fish Fry among them. It was served piping hot, with few kasundi and salad. As soon as the Fish Fry was cut with the spoon, a very nice smell came out, which is not so common in cases of many food joints. The fish was well marinated, making the fry very enjoyable in terms of its flavour and taste. The outer coating was thick. The quality and quantity of the fish they provided at that low rate (that is ₹80 only) were amazing and commendable. The service was fast.

It was our second time visit but the service was not good. We understand it was crowded and people were waiting outside but the person who asked us to leave was very rude. Food was OK OK. Do not try their mutton egg devil. It was sweet.

The place is quite good and the ambience totally gives you Bengali vibes. This was first time I went there and I loved both the ambience and food we ordered three dishes but I loved fish kabiraji most it was delicious😋. If your going there you must try fish kabiraji dish..you are going to love it.

Snacks served here are typical Bengali staff like fish chop, mutton chop, veg chop, mocha chop, fish fry, fish finger and many others. These are known as telebhaja in bangla literally meaning fried in oil. It is a heritage kind of telebhaja shop, opened in 1965, which makes it a 57 year old place that continues to satisfy the huge population of the city. The shop opens at 3/3:30 in the afternoon and generally winds up by 8 since they exhaust all the stock for the evening by that time. On a rough estimate they would be churning out more than 1000 fries every evening. I had mocha chop, dimer devil, fish chop, veg chop today, after about 45 years. I loved them all though I missed the alu chop and beguni.

They offer quite a variety of chops, we went for the Hans-er Dim-er Devil and Dim-er Chop. Both were spot on—the coating was crisp, the filling flavourful, and everything tasted freshly made. They served it with a splash of kasundi and a bit of salad. While the kasundi is a classic pairing, I personally felt it didn’t quite complement the Dim-er Chop. So, if you're looking for a quick snack that’s pocket-friendly and comes with a dash of nostalgia and heritage, this place is definitely worth a stop. Bonus tip: Watch out for the birds perched on the wires overhead! If you're not careful, you might end up with an unwanted condiment on your plate. 😄

Open only in the evenings, it’s a snug place with just 5-6 tables. When we visited, it was nearly full, but luckily, we snagged the last available table. We started with their tea, which was delightful—classic milk tea, rich and comforting. However, the charm was dampened by the use of tiny paper cups instead of the expected white cups and saucers. For snacks, we ordered an Egg Devil, Fish Fry, Mutton Chop, and a plate of bread toast. Surprisingly, they didn’t offer omelets or other egg dishes, which are typically staples in such cabins. The Fish Fry was the star of the show. It had a generous portion of fish inside with no unnecessary fillers—just the perfect seasoning with a hint of spice. It came with a side of salad and a light, watered-down kashundi (Bengali mustard) that lacked its usual punch. The Egg Devil, resembling a British Scotch egg, was generously sized and quite filling. It had a crunchy breadcrumb coating with a flavorful filling of spiced minced mutton (keema) and potato, with the boiled egg split vertically. The Mutton Chop ( croquette) followed a similar recipe, with the same keema filling. While the mince was well-cooked, it leaned a bit too sweet for my taste. Everything was fresh and served piping hot, which added to the experience. Unfortunately, we couldn’t try the Mutton Kofta and other specialties this time, but we’re definitely returning for more! Eat well and Feed well! I went to the Mitra Café Shyambazar branch for an evening bite with my school friend. The space was compact but tastefully furnished with comfortable seating. The staff was very courteous and helpful in recommending the best flavors. Our order included Egg Moglai, Baby Fish Fry (Kolkata Bhetki) and Egg Mutton Devil. Every item we ordered had authentic Bengali flavors and cooked to perfection. The Egg Mutton Devil is a must try. Compared to the street style Devil, Egg Mutton Devil here was significantly different. Pricing was decent as well. The wait time is not excessively long. I would highly recommend this place.

Known for their iconic fish kaviraji and fish cutlet but you can try other dishes like chicken mughlai with mutton kasha, various snacks items, and all dishes are fresh and tasty and they maintain hygiene all time at high priority.The price is very reasonable and you will get the best quality food that's a gurantee . Though their dining space is small but they maintain it well and make space out of it and the decoration is well and the art of work reflects in their wall which is very much pic savvy . The service is quite good and the behaviour of all staff is very nice and familiar. The location is also nice you can communicate easily with public transportation like bus or metro service. **Note- they do not accept any kind of wallet payment , for payment you have only two options either cash or card.

Worth the short trek. With your maps app, it’s really easy though - all on what feel like alleys. Got the classics, chili pork and noodles. The noodles have a mild flavor, which some people called bland. I wouldn’t though it benefits from black pepper and hot sauce - which are on your table. It’s my first time trying this kind of Kolkata Chinese but I hope it’s not my last.

Best place for hangouts and regulars. Food is no doubt amazing. No complaints ever. One thing just, please maintain your portion sizes, it’s becoming lesser as you proceed.

Food is awesome, please don't expect luxurious experience here. This is a eating house. Not everything you will find here in chicken. Quite a good foods are served here the only problem is to find parking rest everything is good. Reasonable price also.

I had breakfast at Ah Leung, Kolkata and tried their famous Singara Chow, steamed wontons, and chilli chicken. The taste was absolutely brilliant! It’s a small, family-run Chinese restaurant, and you can really feel the authenticity in their food. They even make their noodles fresh in-house, which adds a special touch to the dishes. A hidden gem for anyone who loves good, homely Chinese breakfast. Highly recommended!

Absolutely love this place for the food it offers. We always go there on Sundays and have our favourite dishes. The only thing to keep in mind is to be on time here, else you miss out on the good dishes especially on Sundays.

The service is fast. It takes almost 10 mins from order to delivery. I took mixed fried rice and chilly chicken. The fried rice has the right amount of prawns and chicken. Tastes good. The food is good and worth the prices .

Does not allow online even when option is available,they have recently put some notice mentioning no online upi available,I saw it for the first time today requesting to manage for one day, from next day I would give cash as I was short of cash. The people at the shop are not ready to hear and are adamant about paying cash, considering the fact that I am a regular customer there. I gave it 1 star as there is no option to give zero stars. Very unfriendly and unprofessional staff.

This place is located at Pal bazar, Jadavpur. It is a quite small place with moderate seating arrangement and the best part is that this place is much pocket friendly. They offer huge quantity which is more than enough to share between two persons. Quantity of the food items are also quite impressive. This is a decent counter in South City Mall Food Court serving Mexican food. Portion sizes are too less . Food is okay. Better Mexican rice bowls and tacos available in other cafes but in South City Mall this is the only place to get good Mexican food. Service staff is cooperative and efficient.

I don't know why, but day by day the quality of food from Taco Bell is deteriorating on a massive level. I just want to make sure, it is not any store location fault but in all Taco Bells out there. They're charging way to much for their Supreme Bowl (it doesn't really help if you're discounting it on some days). The amount of chicken you get here is abysmal at best.

Taco 🌮 a Mexican food. Tried Big Bell Box (it's a Hearty Meal) with free refill for Pepsi, 7up etc and experience was ok. Starter/Side items were good enough. Don't feel shy, carry in empty glass and ask for your free refill😜!

Taco is really tasty. However french fries was soggy. I paid through QR,my payment went through but not reflecting at their end. They took screenshot of the payment,probably called owner of the store,made me wait for some time before delivering the order. Pls check if QR payment is working at their payment before selecting this option to avoid waiting for extra time.

It's a small Cabin type restaurant on Fern Road, it's just beside the Khosla Electronics. This place has 5-6 tables I guess, 12-15 person at once can sit inside. Food here wasn't good at quality as per the price. I ordered a Chicken Mughlai Paratha, costed 120rs. & One cold drink costed 20rs., my total bill was of 140rs. Food tasted decent. Service was good & quick. I visited here on a Saturday, and usually this place is not so crowded. So, if you don't have much budget you can definitely visit this restaurant, but if you are too concerned about the quality then I would suggest you to find other places. My first time visit. Food was mind blowing. They have an extensive fish menu for the discerning Bengali clients. Just ask. The behavior of the staff and the proprietor was very courteous. Photos coming. We only availed the restaurant services. For lunch.

Very simple , tasty & affordable Bengali style food available here. I had lunch here on several occasions in the last 15 years and the taste is the same. I recommend this place for having a quick simple lunch while on the go. Don't expect too much luxury or comfort . Paid 2 and 4 wheeler parking is available on the road in front. The place is a 2 min walk from Gariahat more.

Its a budget restaurant where you get snacks as well as meal. The restaurant looks very basic but food tastes good. We use to come very often with our mother when we were in school. We came to this restaurant to purely reminicence our memories. We had fish fry and mughlai paratha. Its pure nostalgia. We packed two fish fries as well to have at home. We felf contented at heart.

Why have they mentioned room . There is no room out here . It’s a place to have food . Tried Fish Chop which was good with flavour. Quality and quantity both were good . Tried Paratha which was lacha paratha with Chicken Kasha . Chicken Kasha was good with flavour and taste . Paratha was very good . Soft flaky and perfect taste . It’s an iconic Restaurant so please don’t look for AC and Instagramable view

Food Was Average. We ordered for Kosha Mangsho and Moglai Paratha. Moglai was served with dry aloo ki sabji. Kosha Mangsho was So-So taste wise, but the Mutton was cooked properly and it was soft. The Staffs are Nice. The cabin is really neat and clean and gives a different unique vive. You can try food over there to get the old charm.

It is mostly probably the only cabin restaurant running in howrah. It serves variety of fried snacks,curries and biriyani. I tried mughlai paratha and fish finger. Both the items were lip smackingly good. The vibe is that of cabin food jointa with wooden chairs and table. All the food items are very reasonably priced.

Famous for moghlai parota and kosa mangso. But I personally don't like their receipies too much. Many other fast foods are available like chowmin, chilly chicken, plain parota, biriyani etc. Some snacks also available there like egg devil, fish fry, fish finger, butter fry etc. Sitting arrangement is not good and not suitable for family or couples. You may pack your food to home. They don't charge any extra fee for packing. You may taste their food occasionally. Food quality is average.

Very old restaurant with lot of childhood memories. However, couldn't keep pace with time - no upgradation, not hygienic, no AC, absolutely basic roadside stall. However people are good, food also tasty and cheap.

The Biryani was smelling bad and the owner behaviour was too bad he was replaced the Biryani but his behaviour was too bad and second time also Biryani quantity was too short

Today I ordered chicken pakora they forcefully gave us chicken lollipop which cost around 180 rs. Quality of food is very poor low quality and service is unhygienic. New staff behavior is very rough. I am the old customer of this restaurant. I will never visit again. Don't visit this bad restaurant.owner of this shop is humble. And polite. But staffs are bad. Reputation is going down for un professional staff. Lame behavior.

I used to go there, but nowadays, the food's taste has become very bad, and the service is also poor.

I ordered chicken tandoori, taste is good but they put too much of red colour on it. After having the chicken tandoori our hand and lips got red by food colour.

Today I brought plates 2 hakka chicken noodles and I asked them about the amount of the noddles and they said it is enough for 2 people for one plate of noddles but after i got the noddles it was not enough for 1 person and the noddles doesn't taste good nor it is fried enough. And also I ordered chilli fish as I saw good rates in Google but the fish was not fried enough and also it tasted horrible even they used too much of soy sauce and even the curry stinked . I had to throw the chilli fish fully totally waste of money

It's a small restaurant having seating capacity of 16 people. But the ambience was good. AC was working properly. Had overall fine dining experience. Chilli fish was good in taste, mixed hakka noodles was also very tasty. Its a perfect budget friendly restaurant within Dum Dum Cantonment. But entrance is little narrow and have to be careful while climbing the staircase. Overall a very good deal..

Waste of money. They don't give fresh food. I will recommend to go to other places than of this. Neither the tawa roti is of good quality. It's better you prefer some other small hotels who gives you fresh food. They only have their name as Hygienic but not there food. Don't go for any kind of food.

Pretty much good food items are here, but as per their name those dishes are not much hygienic. In butter tadka also the use oil and after cooking it they mix with 1 spoon butter.
