But honestly, when it comes to food, it feels quite average compared to the price they charge. The items look tempting but taste-wise they don’t really match the hype. It’s not bad, but definitely not worth the premium you pay. So, for me, it’s more of a place to enjoy the atmosphere rather than the food.

Flurys is truly a classic! This iconic bakery that started in Kolkata definitely lives up to its name. I visited during Durga Puja, and the ambience was warm, festive, and beautifully decorated. It had such an authentic charm. We ordered two breakfast meals, and everything was absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich yet subtle, not too spicy, and perfectly balanced. The Darjeeling tea they served was so refreshing, the ideal way to start the day. Although it’s slightly on the costlier side, the quality and taste make it completely worth it. Overall, a lovely experience with great food, great vibe, and a must-visit if you enjoy classic breakfast spots with a touch of nostalgia.

Flurys is a very well-known bakery shop and enjoys a long history! But over the years slowly lost its charm a bit. But offlate it has regained it's lost glory! They refurbished the shop, added many new attractive items backed up with very polite and effective stuffs . It's a treat to visit the shop for food lovers and even for discerning tourists !

This cafe is a spot on for its ambience and even delicious sweet delights. The staff over here were friendly as well. The price is slightly on the higher side compared to the quantity but the taste was good. Loved the cupcakes here. Small, and homely interior. Hot chocolate and marshmallow cupcakes were really good. Though not so friendly and experienced stuffs compared to salt lake outlet. Being situated on a quite road, road side car parking can be done in front of the outlet.

The previous experience was very nice. But The current experience is very bad..The worst experience is that they have changed their previous menu card. they have lots of management problems & also the food quality is very bad like wastage of money. But the dessert item Tiramisu is a little bit good in taste.. people can go for the item. On the other side of the cafe is their atmosphere.. it is very cozy, friendly & good for family, couples, friends....🙂

A marvelous place tucked away in a tranquil neighborhood between Southern Avenue and Gariahat. It’s easy to locate from either destination. The ambiance is fantastic—the kind of place you seek when you need a break from the city's overwhelming noise and chaos to catch your breath. The food here is primarily Indo-Continental and Indo-Chinese, though the beverage section offers a wide variety. During my most recent visit, I was preoccupied and unfortunately forgot to tip the wonderful staff who made our stay so comfortable. My apologies—it truly was an amazing experience!

The first time I have come to this decorative and aesthetic restaurant in Kolkata. I'm a big fan of the interior designing and surely it's aesthetically pleasing to me. I never liked Spaghetti at all but to my surprised, I cross my taste barrier for the first time in my life and finished up. Well, that tips we have told to the staff definitely worked at that moment. It goes so well with the white sauce alone. So don't be surprised if I happen to be back here again in the coming future. For 2's, it would cost you around 1k I supposed. Basically it depends on your choice. For Ig user, it's definitely a must go and enjoy the delightful flavor with the unique vibe. One of the guy is cooperative and always try to meet our demands. However, I do wish for hospitality improvement to some of the staffs. Anyways, it was a pleasant dine in.

A pleasantly aesthetic cafe with lip smacking delicacies. We tried their Fettuccine Florentine pasta and Caramelized Onion and Garlic Pizza. Both were a solid 5/5✨ The pasta was so creamy and cheesy and the pizza was just perfect. Highly recommended!

Seriously in love with this cafe, near Forum mall this cafe is a Must visit. Their aesthetic decor is just something to go awe about. They have decorated every corner of it, even their washroom too. You will find it so beautiful and clean, I haven’t seen such a decorated washroom in any cafe before. They have two sections, one was closed that day but the other one where we sat it had such a beautiful ambiance. You can get n number of Instagram perfect pictures over here. To talk about the food - We took a Mushroom Crescent Sandwich that was loaded with Sauté mushrooms in pesto sauce and Caesar dressing and in the beverage we ordered- Cafe Mocha and Peach Iced Tea. Everything tasted so good. I would love to visit this cafe again and try their other items as well, you must too for sure.

Absolutely rude staff, trying to push us out even before we finished our food. Food dint taste good either. Food was awful not recommended at all. The coffee was a joke and other food items were also not the very best . The service was satisfactory the servers were very well mannered as well. Now the main and only selling point is the atmosphere 10/10 for the atmosphere for sure the old school vibes is immaculate and you are going to feel like you have travelled back in time to experience kolkata as it was 30 years back.

Chicken cutlet coating was very thick. The chicken inside seemed uncooked. Cold coffee was terrible, with more water than coffee. Chicken chowmein veggies were undercooked. Hygiene and cleanliness is a bit of concern. Too hot inside. Fans are not of much use. That way prices are a bit on the higher side.

This is one of Kolkata’s most nostalgic places, filled with rich history. However, the food quality is disappointing. I have been here twice mainly to soak in the nostalgia and though I tried different dishes, the taste was just average. Once known for good coffee and food, the quality has sadly deteriorated over the years, and the staff’s behavior is not very welcoming either. Still, it holds a unique charm. You will often find elderly groups sitting here, continuing their adda sessions that began during their college days, sometimes 50–60 years ago. For that sense of history and continuity, it’s worth a visit at least once but go for the nostalgia, not the food or the coffee.

The Indian Coffee House has an old-world charm and a historic vibe, but unfortunately the experience was disappointing. The food is just average and not worth the price charged. Service is very slow—you have to keep calling the waiters repeatedly to take your order, and their behavior is often unfriendly. What made it worse was that they openly demanded tips, which felt very unprofessional.

The food quality was actually amazing! The heart cake was simple yet it amazed me so much. It was soft..fluffy and tasty! We had to wait outside as there was a line to enter the shop! It was Friday at 11 pm, still such a rush! The quality has been maintained! Definitely buy their garlic bread too!

This famous bakery located right inside the New Market area has a large selection of pastries, bakes, cakes and sweets. We had gone there in the evening and the whole market was crowded and full of activities. The staff at Nahoum Confectionery were at the peak of their efficiency, catering to the needs of the customers. It is an interesting shop to visit in Kolkata.

I don’t understand the management of the place. Writing this comment standing in a line waiting for buns when there are racks of already prepared ones in the shop. O don’t understand when there is a huge line and the racks of prepared ones are for the ones who have ordered is not moving, they can give those and replace with the ones that will come. In the end the buns are the same. To too it all, this guy with specs acting all sarcastic telling us how the buns are prepared. Seriously. Guys, standard your game. Don’t put the name of this place to the dogs.

Honest review: it's overrated. There are limited items and it's not like you'll achieve something greater here compared to other bakeries. As a loyal customer who has visited Bikers Cafe multiple times over the past 5+ years, I was disheartened to see the decline in service and food quality during my recent visit. The ambiance remains one of the best in town, but that's where the positives end. The menu still offers a wide range of options, but the execution has fallen short. The dishes I ordered lacked the finesse and presentation that Bikers Cafe was known for. The quantity of food was also disappointing, especially considering the prices. I was particularly shocked to see the drastic change in their signature dishes, such as the Fish Fingers, which have deteriorated significantly over the past couple of months. The servers seemed overwhelmed, and the attentiveness and efficiency that I had come to expect from Bikers Cafe were noticeably absent. This lack of service is a significant departure from my previous experiences. Despite the decline in food and service, Bikers Cafe's liquor collection, shisha, and Conti specialties still stand out. These aspects of the cafe continue to pack a punch and are worth experiencing. As a loyal customer, I'll give Bikers Cafe another chance to redeem themselves. However, for now, they're not on my top list. I hope they take customer feedback seriously and work towards regaining their former glory. NB: when invoicing please double check as they are allegedly levied 10% service charges which is unfavorable nowadays.

There is a reason why I am giving 2 star. The ambience,the food was good. But few things which didn't align to my expectations. 1. We booked seats through Zomato. While booking their was not mention that they will charge service charges. Only cover charges mentioned which was 50 per head. When the bill came they added 387/- service charges. When I asked to remove the service charges they told that it is mandatory to give and it was mentioned in the terms of Zomato. According the law ( as per my knowledge) restaurants can't force you to pay the service charges. Hence they did it anyway. 2. Mineral water charges were high. 130/- for normal 1 litre mineral bottle. As we haven't asked the price in the beginning we didn't argue for it. But it was costly.

Good place. Visited during durga pujo for lunch. The place was pleasantly empty for the season. Good ambience and decent food makes it a good spot for casual hangouts. I would have loved it without the smell of hookah. Luckily nobody was smoking when we were there, but the smell was circulating in the air conditioned room. It's recommended if you have no problem with hookah smoke in closed space. The detox drinks are very good alternaves for non drinkers!

We recently visited The Bikers Cafe for a lovely breakfast date, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Ordered: Eggs Benedict with Bacon: 4.3/5 - the eggs and hollandaise sauce were perfect on toasted English muffins with crispy bacon. Pure Pepperoni and Cheese Omelette: 3.9/5 - fluffy and flavorful, but a little salty. Sausages: 3.5/5 - it was okayish Peach Iced Tea: 4/5 - just the perfectly refreshing drink The cafe's ambiance was perfect for a casual breakfast date, overall it was enjoyable.

Not recommended at all. Pls don't waste your money here & instead to go to some other place near Elgin Rd, I'm sure there are plenty of better cafes in this area. This is one of the oldest cafes near Elgin road and I visited this cafe with high expectations but to my surprise the food wasn't good at all. We ordered a cappuccino which came with a fork 😂 as you can see in the picture. Then we ordered a non veg pizza & it was too dry, the crust was too hard to eat & there was so less cheese that we couldn't even finish it off. The service was also not up to the mark, the staffs were not attentive & were responding really slow. The shisha was not good at all, it always choked & upon repeated requests they tweaked some things which burnt the flavour totally. They need to improve alot otherwise the customers will go away.

Never Coming Back! Absolutely terrible experience. The service at this place is a complete disaster — the staff won’t even let you finish your sentence before walking off. It felt like they were deliberately ignoring us. As for the food, total disappointment. The "coffee" was nothing more than overpriced sugar water, the pasta was an undercooked, milky mess with zero flavour, and the garlic bread? Stale, bland, and just sad. We specifically told them multiple times not to add any chilli or spice, and they still covered everything in chilli flakes. When we requested them to fix it, the replacement dishes somehow came out even worse. Horrible food, horrible service, and a complete waste of money. Save yourself the trouble — eat literally anywhere else.

I had a sweet and abundant late breakfast. Cinnamon roll and chocolate cookie very tasty. Good coffee (and if it is an Italian to say that it worths…lol!). The staff kind and professional with always a big smile on their faces. Thanks for the experience. I will be back if in the city again

The ambiance was cozy and welcoming — perfect for relaxing or catching up with friends. 💫 A special mention to the staff — they were super friendly, polite, and attentive, making sure every little detail was perfect. Their warm behavior truly made the visit even more enjoyable! 🌼 Now coming to the food — I tried their Mouth-Melting Cheese Wrap, and honestly, it lived up to its name! Every bite was bursting with creamy, cheesy goodness. 😋 And the Fluffy Pancakes with Nutella were pure heaven — soft, light, and topped with just the right amount of Nutella for that perfect sweetness. 🥞🍫 Highly recommend this place for anyone who loves great food, good vibes, and amazing service. Went there on Ostomi. The place was moderately packed with customers. Asked the receptionist for a table for two and was completely ignored for a minute and a half. Asked another waiter for a table for two. The said waiter joined a empty two seater table with a family table and told us to sit together with a family that was looking for a table as well. When I cleared the air that I was not with them the said waiter simply laughed and said “ Don't mind. Sit together for now ! “. Took me a whole minute to digest this glorious act of stupidity. As you can see the service is very bad. We ordered two shakes and a pizza. The pizza was overpriced (close to 500 for a regular size pizza). The shakes were over priced too (around 300 each). The mango shake was tasty (still not worth paying 300 bucks though ) but the chocolate shake tasted like cold complan. The shakes are offered in cheap plastic glasses. Total bill for 2 was about 1100. This place is completely overhyped. Wont make the mistake of visiting twice. The prices are the like the cafes in south but the service is terrible and the food clearly not adequate both in taste and in quantity.

Ambience : ambience is very good, photogenic place. Decorated walls and all. Service- service is also very nice. They are always available for help. You can visit this place. I wanted to rate it 3.5 but I had to stick to a round 4. The food was good, I mean, it lacked a bit in quantity or taste. But the endeavors of the staff to prepare every food with love and consistency and service plating is appreciable. Cafe ambiance and coziness are maintained. Caramel custard is worth maintaining. If you want to go for something light for your stomach and not a heavy spicy meal, then you can try this place.

Visited Calcutta 64 recently and had a lovely time overall. The ambience was wonderful — calm, nicely done interiors that made it a great spot to unwind for a bit. We ordered a few items: the Ginger Lemonade stood out — refreshing and perfectly balanced, definitely a highlight. The Minestrone Chicken Soup was okay, nothing too special, while the Chicken Caesar Salad was quite good — fresh ingredients and a well-made dressing. The service was prompt, the staff were courteous, and the prices felt reasonable for what we got. All in all, a nice café to check out if you're around Bowbazar and in the mood for a peaceful bite.

Located near Kalyan Jewelers, this café is really popular for hanging out with loved ones. Went there on a Wednesday of June 2025 and loved the ambience. We, 5 heads, had the following items: 1. Mexican Grilled Chicken Pizza (Large) - Thin crust pizza with 8 slices was tasty and filling (9/10) (Price - Rs. 540). 2. Calcutta64 Chicken Wings - 8 pcs of Chicken wings was also tasty and the chicken portions were also good. (9/10) (Price - Rs. 350). 3. Fish Finger - 6 pcs of Fish finger was really juicy and lip-smacking. Must try! (10/10) (Price - Rs. 360) 4. Mango Lemonade - We didn't like it that much as we felt the mango taste was not upto the mark. It was also costly (4/10) (Price - Rs. 240) 5. Peri Peri Chicken Sizzler - Really hot and spicy dish with small quantity of rice and veggies. Comes with 2-3 pcs of chicken. Not suggested for non-spicy eaters at all. (5/10) (Price - Rs. 470). 6. Chicken Stroganoff - Comes with shredded pieces of chicken with mushroom and veggies and small quantity of rice. Good taste (8/10) (Price - Rs. 460) 7. Prawn Chelo Kebab - Comes with 6 pcs of small prawns with 2 Chicken kebabs and one sunny side up. Gets served with rice and salad. Liked the arrangement but salt was less (8/10) (Price - Rs. 550). 8. Water bottle (Price - Rs. 10) The server was good but could have been better if he informed us about the spiciness of Peri Peri Chicken Sizzler. Also, it takes generally 15-20 mins to serve the dish after ordering. Overall, the cost was too high for the quality and quantity it offers. Parking - Free street parking is available for both 2-wheeler and 4-wheelers.

Service became unreasonably poor based on the experience of last visit. They are trying to rush even though it's a lazy afternoon and the place was not even half full. They were trying to take out the plate or glass even before finishing. We could not even spend 90 minutes based on their service to push customer with an attitude of emptying the table 6. Whole good experience may be converted to a bad one if they do not put a quality and training control over their specific staffs

The service is good, and the menu is largely American with burgers, platters, and cocktails being the main highlights. They also have a bar and hookah available, which adds to the overall experience. It’s best enjoyed with a group of friends, though be prepared as the place is usually packed on weekends. I’ve visited more than 10 times, and each visit has been equally good and refreshing. The pricing feels fair, considering the reputation, service, and atmosphere of the cafe. Definitely a go-to spot if you’re in the mood for music, food, and fun.

If you want a place to party with your friends, in the heart of Kolkata, Hard Rock Cafe is exactly where you should go. Food was not that good, on the overpriced side. Rock music, dark theme and disco lights give off a proper club vibe. We had their classic chicken burger and Chicken Pasta. Burger was good but the pasta tasted below average. Overall, great place for party-lovers , not the place for foodies.

If you like hanging out with your friends for some amazing food, while some great music plays in the background, this is the place for you. The food is delicious, and the serving size is big enough for two or more people to share. The staff are very friendly. The ambiance immediately makes you want to hang out here longer, and the music selection is top-notch.

Hard Rock Cafe Kolkata has done justice to the Hard Rock Cafe community as it was my first experience in India. The ambience, staff and the vibe was all loud and vibrant as you can expect if you write a veteran with HRC franchise. The food was very decently portioned, made fresh to order and extremely tasty. Asher was an amazing host who was super polite and happy to serve us. I couldn’t have been happier and I urge you all to visit them if you are in Kolkata.

This is one of the most beautifully decorated cafes with unique foods ans good hospitality in Kolkata. Situated near the AJC Bose Road in between Exide crossing and Minto Park, this cafe offers a good variety of snacks and beverage options. The first thing to mention about this cafe is its excellent artistic ambience. They have all the modern artefacts, paintings ans other exotic decorative staff to give a unique feel inside this cafe. They have a nice book shelf with a very good variety of books but being in Kolkata, Bengali books are definitely missed here. Apart from that, they have charging points and high tables which are quite suitable for work or online meetings. Talking about the menu, we ordered Chicken Vietnamese roll, spicy chicken katsu sandwich and mocha. Among these, the roll was quite unique to taste, it was cold but very delicious due to its unique saucy flavour. The mocha was also very well brewed and good to taste. The lead time of serving was also quite practical. The staff members were very polite, attentive and good listeners. They were quite modest while talking to us, suggesting or taking orders. The washroom was very neat and clean ans well maintained. There are limited seats inside the cafe, once you get in, you will get a nice charming look which is very pleasing and charming. Prices are of course little high and the variety of foods can be improved.

Absolutely worth the reviews that have been posted before my visit. Excellent ambience, food and very well behaved staff. We ordered the sweet potato brava, artichoke dip and burrito bowl. More than filling and went very well with the mocha and cappuccino. The only challenge is parking, but ask the staff and you’ll find a limited spot at the end of the lane, but it’s worth the patience. A cafe named Artsy in a city like Kolkata is as apt as it gets.

This is the most satisfying restaurant I have been to in Kolkata. It is a hidden place so I did not expect much. However, the interior is stylish and the staff service is good. The best part is the food. All the menus are delicious. Especially the sandwiches made with Panini bread were so delicious. The smoothie bowl was like the acai bowl I had in Hawaii. The pancakes and ice cream on top were also delicious. The tacos were topped with fried avocado. Very classy and delicious. I love this place so much. I've been here 3 times during my trip and have been satisfied every time.

It's late April and the sun is weak yellow, barely holding up against the vast stretch of grey sky, all gloomy over us. Streets were almost empty, the platforms are wet, there has been a persistent rain since morning and people seen rather quiet in conducting their commute-related activity. Excellent artistic ambience of Artsy cafe and a perfectly complimenting weather is a too good to be true experience. Haha My friend and I walked out into the rain, our usual Artsy is a walkable distance away from metro station.The cafe is located somewhere at a turn in a busy bhawanipore street, this place however is relatively free from the prosaic urban trappings. We spent a couple of hours being part productive and part laughs and giggles there. We had blueberry cheesecake yummy as always and dark chocolate espresso which was very well brewed. Have been here twice or thrice, everytime absolute delight. The foood's good, The staff here is praiseworthy of what they do, always polite and sharing smiles😊 I had a great afternoon there. I'm always happy to bee here when my people suggests Artsy on day outs. Well, definitely planning to see Artsy again.✌️

I recently visited Roastery Coffee House, Gariahat, and it turned out to be one of the most delightful café experiences I’ve had in Kolkata! The place has such a warm, aesthetic charm — perfect for relaxing conversations, great food, and even better coffee. I tried quite a few dishes — Cranberry Coffee, Macaroni Fish & Chips, BBQ Pizza, Peri Peri Chicken Wings, and finally, a Brownie with Ice-Cream and Chocolate. Everything was excellent, but I have to highlight the Fish and Chips — hands down, the best I’ve ever had in my life! The fish was perfectly crisp on the outside, soft and flaky inside, paired beautifully with the creamy macaroni and tartar sauce. It’s rare to find something so perfectly balanced in flavour and texture. The Cranberry Coffee was refreshingly unique, the BBQ Pizza had a lovely smoky flavor, and the Brownie with ice cream was the perfect sweet ending. Service was quick, staff were courteous, and the presentation of each dish was Instagram-worthy. If you’re in Gariahat and love good food with a cozy vibe, Roastery Coffee House should definitely be on your list!

This cafee was in my wishlist for a long. The ambience and the vibe was something different. I choose the outdoor sitting. The polite behavior of staffs and self service was noticeable. We ordered Virgin Mojito and aam Panna mohita which was something different yet smoothing. The Margherita pizza was too tasty.

We started with their famous Cranberry Cold Brew and Iced Mocha— both were outstanding. The Cranberry Cold Brew had a refreshing fruity tang balanced perfectly with the smooth bitterness of coffee, giving a unique and revitalizing taste. The Iced Latte was equally impressive — creamy, well-balanced, and rich with the aroma of freshly roasted coffee beans. Both beverages set the tone for the perfect café experience. Next came the Mutton Keema Pizza, which was truly the showstopper. I’m usually not a big pizza fan, but this one made me a convert! The paper-thin crust, generous cheesy layer, and the perfectly spiced Indian-style mutton topping created a burst of flavours in every bite. We also tried the Mutton Lasagna, which, although slightly smaller in portion and less cheesy than expected, still stood out for its rich and aromatic mutton filling. I usually avoid giving negative feedback until and unless something is horrribly disappointing. Recently, I tried the Alphonso Mango Sundaze and Lemon Mimosa Mini Cakes from the renowned Kookie Jar, expecting a premium experience given their reputation as one of the city's finest patisseries. Visually, both desserts were stunning. The Mango Sundaze featured fresh Alphonso mangoes. However, the tart itself was underwhelming: it consisted of basic whipped cream with no trace of cream cheese, which was quite surprising for a dessert of this caliber. As for the Lemon Mimosa Mini Cake, while the lemon curd had a good texture and flavor, the cake base was disappointing. It resembled a mass-produced, low-quality sponge Bapuji cake -- something you'd expect from a budget bakery, not a premium one. Is this really what customers are paying for and expecting from such a reputed establishment?

As much as I love Kookie Jar pastries and cakes, had a horrible experience first thing in the morning at the Auckland Place outlet. The Chicken Shawarma had black mould/fungus kind of particles on the Pita Bread. We immediately showed it to one of the in-store personnel, agreed to the same issue and took it to the shop cashier. This person nicely tried to explain to us that it was burn marks because the Pita bread was toasted. We didn't want to get into any argument as we had to rush to the hospital next door. The shop manager even took aside the first personnel from this conversation just because he agreed to the fault in the product. Eventually he even billed us for this product with fungus and mould wrapped in foil. Great way to handle such issues.

Bought two chocolate pastries last Sunday from rawdon street branch . Immediately when we had it we felt it was very dry . We called the store requesting them to have one and check .they took our no and said would call back but that never happened. We called back and were told that they would not check it as it has temperature conditions and once taken out of fridge should be left at room temp for half n hour to become moist and so on . We asked why then we were not told or no instructions were on box . This was do absurd as we have been eating these pastries since childhood and now someone tells us each pastry has to be eaten after a certain time and in so and do condition to get it's right taste . We just wanted to convey to our favourite brand that please check we don't want you to go down and serve the same perhaps to other clients but it was all to a deaf ear I guess .

It’s a classic bakery with ample of delicious bread , cakes and pastries.. They have some savoury and cute cookies that are tempting.. They newly launched icecreams also which was good .. I tried the lemon icecream which I loved it.. Vegetarian options are less compare to Non-vegetarian .. Bit pricey but somewhat worthy..

I bought a Black Forest Cake from Kookie Jar today for my birthday. Firstly, the cake was overpriced (1800 rs for 1 lb), and secondly, it was the worst cake I have ever tasted in my entire life. It was full of water, and the cherries tasted bad because they were not fresh. The staff were trying to sell us a pineapple and a mango cake, which were even more expensive. I have bought cakes from Kookie Jar before, but not this outlet. This one is the worst. I would never recommend or purchase from this store again. Thanks for ruining my birthday.

The cafe is spotless and has a laid back vibe . The indoor seating is beautiful. They have an array of baked goods . We however ordered a cappuccino, as far as I can recall it was an Irish or might have been hazelnut and a signature chocolate shake . The aroma coming from the coffee which they served with a cookie was so soothing . I loved the chocolate shake. The quality is top tier , which kind of makes up for the price . They serve excellent coffee but the priciest of the high end espresso drinks . I adored the place's urban feel , located in a quiet , peaceful neighbourhood. The cost for the 2 came down to ₹500 .

Excellent bakery products, both sweet and savouries, with great coffee.Pricing is relatively higher than most other bakeries of their stature in the city, but taste and quality is undoubtedly good. The apple pie and pineapple pastry are both superlative. Fresh and moist. The Vietnamese coffee is excellent too. The savouries, I enjoyed the chicken envelope more. The Korean chicken croissant was good too, with perfectly crisp and flaky croissant. Tres leches was absolutely superb..The seating is a bit cramped..service is polite and reasonably fast.

Ordered cake delivery for father’s birthday. The cake was not as per order. It did not have the decorations as per original order, and the cake was damaged on the top. It seems they took off the original decorations and gave this damaged piece since this was a delivery order. This bad service was not expected of Cocoa bakery. Seems owners and operations team is mismanaging by accepting orders they cannot fulfill. There was no attempt to contact me and offer alternate solutions. This was served at a party so everyone was shocked at the sub-standard service of this bakery. My family used to be long time clients but not anymore. Partial product delivery but they charged full payment.

Had food poisoning, thanks to their Mexican bean burger. Had small plastics in it which got involuntarily digested and a big plastic which came in my mouth. Called the staff, they apologized and gave me a free burger as a compensation. I took the burger thinking of it as an honest mistake. Sometimes afterwards I started vomiting and then had a acute stomach ache which turned to diarrhea. Avoid this place or ask beforehand if they don't have plastic in their food. Wish I had clicked a picture but they took away the plastic as soon as I complained.

A beautiful little bakery and cafe, the food is nice, ambience is good. Pros: the behaviour of the staff and the service they give is awesome. Cons: The space is too small for comfort, u fill in 4-5 people and it gets crowded. Overall it's a good place to head out to for a coffee.

Hear about this very old in house bakery run by Goan owners, so decided to try few items from here last Christmas. We got Chocolate Walnut Cake, Coconut Macaroons, Chicken sausage roll. Brownies and muffins were also available. The cakes were well made and delicious. Recommended if you love home made bakery items. Do note only cash was accepted.

A no nonsense bakery, I repeat, a bakery. Don't expect great ambience, but expect a gastronomic pleasure tour. Extremely arrogant staff but bakes out magic. Have anything from them, cakes, fruit cakes, patties anything, hands down one of the best bakeries in town and also the cheapest. Call them in advance, pay them by cash only and get things delivered from them by Swiggy delivery or any other delivery app. I advise against visiting them and getting food from them, but rather get it delivered, but make sure you pay them via delivery partner in cash. Just bear with their attitude because your taste buds will bow down in gratitude, I rest my case.

Located in a narrow nondescript lane in Taltala(Central Kolkata), Saldanha Bakery serves some of the most amazing cakes and other baked goodies in town. I have been there plenty of times and none of their offerings have failed to impress so far. Must order items: coconut macaroon, chocolate walnut cake, rich fruit cake, lemon drop, chicken puff, cheese puff. You have to order in advance and collect your food from the bakery itself.

Small bakery in South Kolkata, truly a hidden gem.. Each and every dessert here is mouthwatering.. Savoury items are some good to average.. Bit expensive but worthy.. Server is kinda hard in conversation..

The patisserie is excellent. Reminds me of when I used to live in Paris and go to the local boulangerie. The place is kind of small and the service staff very disagreeable. My advice is to send your driver to pick up your order or to just Zomato it to your place. This way you don’t have to deal with incompetence.

In my research, this is the oldest hotel in the city. Established in 1937, Broadway retains its colonial-era Art Deco aesthetics, offering an evocative, old-world atmosphere reminiscent of British ruled Calcutta. With virtually no renovations over the decades, it preserves a true sense of nostalgia, old-world charm, and a colonial experience. The interior decor remains almost unchanged, making it feel like a time capsule once you step inside. On weekends, especially Sunday evenings, live jazz music further enhances the ambience. Now, coming to the food, the taste & quality were excellent and truly worth every penny. The menu features a mix of North Indian, Chinese, and finger food staples. However, I found the portions, particularly in the rice and noodles section, to be comparatively small. The place also has a full bar with draft beer, wine, gin, and other quality liquors, along with a good cocktail selection. All tables are set up for four people. If you’re in a group of five, the fifth person will need to adjust with a regular chair. Payment can be done with cash, UPI or Cards.

Overhyped. Food was good. Service was slow. The atmosphere is basically what you expect. The drinks were good. The mustard chicken is worth having if you have never tried before. Asking for a tip, and that too an exorbitant amount, when the service is so subpar, is really annoying.

Lovely heritage and aesthetic place in the heart of chadni chowk almost a 60+ years old heritage pub just gives the proper vibes th hangout with your friends and colleagues. Love to try any of the drinks but their cocktails are simply too good and the fish finger just make me fall in love and the chilli mustard chicken is just a perfect and unique dish to try from this place and the most loveable and spicy chicken chilli liver fry is just made my day..always love to visit this place ❤️

Broadway Bar and Restaurant is one of the oldest bars in Kolkata. 💫 I love this place because people of all ages come here. You can see young people, old men, and even old women enjoying food and drinks with their partners. ❤️ It feels very nostalgic and makes me smile when I see old couples sharing happy memories. 😊 The place is a little noisy, but you can still talk comfortably. The food tastes great and is worth the money. The only thing I don’t like is the long wait for food. Even when we call the waiters, they come late. 🤷🏻‍♂️ But overall, it’s a lovely place to enjoy time with your partner, friends, or family. A must-visit if you want to feel the old charm of Kolkata. 👍🏻

We had a very good experience here. Visited the place randomly sunday morning. And it was really crowded at about 8 am in the morning and it's proves their popularity. Service was very fast . We order a plate of club kachori and obviously their famous chai (tea). No proper sitting available here . U have to eat beside roadside with a chair and i think this the best thing if u want to hangout or small talks with your group. Must visit the place. In early morning or evening time recommended.

Kona Dukan which literally translates to a shop situated at a corner is popular among the locals to grab a tea and chit chat. I visited the place on a Sunday to grab a bite and it full to its peak. There is staff who will get your order at your chair and you need to get the man for the bill. As far as taste is concerned, Maska toast was average but the sandwich was really good. Chai in earthen pot (kulhad) is also decent. Also the ambience takes you back to old colonial Calcutta as is situated near Stock Exchange building. Cleanliness needs to be improved as leftover is littered all around instead of proper disposal.

Kona Dukan is situated in Kolkata-700001 just opposite to Calcutta Stock Exchange and a walking distance from Writer's Building. It is a very famous tea and snacks shop among office goers and employees of CSE. Now people come from far and have tea and snacks. From word of mouth and experience to internet, this place has become very famous. The tea and malai toasts which are the most famous and ordered items are just normal. They taste what they should taste. The price is very high for a small shop like this. They have employees and they serve well to their customers. That is acceptable. A small clay bhnaar of sweetened milk tea costs Rs 20 and two pieces of malai toast cost Rs 50 which I personally feel to be expensive. They also serve sandwiches and Lassi which I didn't try and in the morning they sell hot puris.

This place came highly recommended for Malai toast. As a tourist, we found Malai toast very underwhelming, and didn't get the hype. We don't recommend going out of your way to reach here. (We visited in November 2024)

A must have breakfast joint for Sunday mornings.. I have tried corn sandwich, club kachori, Vada Pav, Malai toast, chai, sweet lassi.. Everything is bliss..

We went to this place after a long search and some recommendations and disappointment rushed in. Place is small but decor is fine. But where we were sitting, we had burning eyes as the kitchen was nearby and probably it has some issues with their ventilation. Now the most disappointing part was their food. We first ordered some pizza which came as focaccia bread topped with some cheese and small pieces of chicken. Bread was not fresh, cheese was very hard and chewy. Then we had their white sauce pasta- the white sauce was not at all creamy, rather it looked some curdled milk. Their non-veg pasta comes with chicken strips in the side. Chicken strips were tasty but the overall plate was not good at all. For dessert we had their tiramisu and brownie (without ice cream as there was no ice cream left). Tiramishu was very soggy, it felt like it was dipped in water. Brownie was over-baked, upper layer of it was very hard and it also had a weird after-taste of baking soda. The only thing we liked about them was their coffee. We had their Mocha, Iced Cappucino, Frappe Mocha and Caramel Iced Coffee- each of them were very good. Had a very strong taste of coffee which will hit the right note of your taste-bud. Also, their service was fine and people attending us were very polite and helpful. So, I would not really recommend them for food but Coffee- you should definitely give it a try.

The coffee they serve is one of the best in town. The flavour of the coffee was amazing, the aroma, equally good! I think they are my new favourites! Coming to the food, the bagel chips and hummus and the chicken quiche were amazing! The bagel chips and the hummus was my favourite! The crispy chips paired really well with that tasty hummus. The quiche was equally tasty! However, the interior is something they should have some work done! First, there were bags of coffee beans all around the cafe, it felt very unkempt. Second, the interior somehow felt very artificial.

Breakfast at a new place was so nice because of the ambience and service, the food of course. Tried the non veg breakfast platter including chicken sausage, sunny side up, toast and veggies along with americano and a latte. Had a very tasty sausage in a long time. Price was similar to the market. They have a outside seating also to make it comfortable for the smokers I guess. Definitely recommended for all.

Really disappointed after seeing the ratings and visiting. Not one thing among 7 items was upto the mark. Not even coffee. Except Vietnamese which was good, but have had much much better ones. Everything was so so so bland. Haven't had this bad food in a very very long time. Really feel ratings to be fake! Also ratings on dineout and district don't match with the one's here.

The food is not that great! Dont expect too much. We ordered chicken a la kiev, pasta cold coffee and irish coffee. Chicken was okayish. Pasta was also good not great! Irish coffee they served without cream saying that the cream they had was expired and stinking. That sounds awkward!! Like which restaurant tells you that they have an expired stinking item thats why they did not use it😅

It was an extremely disappointing experience. More than 90% of the foods in the menu were unavailable. There was no light in the washroom, which posed as a challenge for majority of the diners. We tried Brownie Shake, Mango Shake, Bacon Wrapped Prawn and Bacon Wrapped Chicken. The quantity and quality of the drinks were impressive, and we had nothing to complain about. But the foods were salty, and were overpriced. The ambiance, though was fantastic. We expected a lot, but returned dissatisfied.

Food was good, items offered in the menu were elaborate. We tried multiple items, all were equally delicious and remarkably. One downside if I had to nit pick, it would be the PRICE; prices charged are a bit towards overpriced. We had booked via dine out, got a good deal.

Nice roadside café with a pleasant ambience and plenty of seating options. They have a good coffee and bakery culture — cappuccino, latte, and mocha were all nicely prepared with beautiful latte art and complementary cookie. However, pour-over and cold brew options were not available during our visit. The blueberry and hazelnut cheesecakes were excellent and paired wonderfully with the coffee. We also tried a green apple drink, which was refreshing and well made. On the other hand, the spaghetti and chicken ultimate sizzler were just average in both taste and portion size. The café is well-maintained with a wash basin and washroom available. Staff were attentive, professional, and well behaved, which added to the overall good experience. It would be great if they could add more varieties of croissants and gluten free items to their menu, as they would go really well with the coffee.

This cafe has my heart ❤️ Best chocolate hazelnut croissant in town. Loved their vietnamese coffee and the Korean cream cheese bun was dreamy ❤️ we also had a triple cheese fries, it was good too. Great portion size. Will visit again soon, God willing.

This two-storey coffee shop is a little escape - with cozy corners, some greens, and warm beige tones that make you want to linger longer than intended. The vibes are mellow, and the drinks are great. The coconut matcha was creamy, and tropical magic in a cup. The watermelon brew was totally unique. They have a thoughtful bookstore tucked inside, full of titles that feel lovingly curated - like someone actually read them before putting them on the shelf. Only hiccup: the cashier at the bookstore forgot to hand me my change. No biggie, just a small slip, but mentioning it for the sake of the full picture.

Best place if you like books and coffee. Their Vietnamese iced coffee and Chocolate Hazelnut Croissant are must-trys. Although it's pricey, it's worth every penny.

The cheesecake was amazing!! The Coffee caramel pastry was not that good though. The chicken supreme was not that good, we were rather hungry otherwise we would not have ordered it. I give it a 3 star just because of the cheesecake! Overall the ambience was not bad, yet some customers were complaining about the hygiene of the plates and cups in the background. I'd like to give it a second doubt because I really liked that cheesecake.

Look I was a big fan of French Loaf, specially for clubbed chicken sandwich with brown bread. That day I was also ordered the same with a Chocolate pastry, a coffee and a apple pie. Sandwich was good, but chocolate pastry was completely rotten. Coffe was good and apple pie was also partially rotten. Moreover only 1 ac working on that day, so it was very difficult to stay there for more that 10 mint. Infact after exit, we felt outside weather was more comfortable. One must re point is, when I was paying bill, beside of me, there was a customer, came to buy something, that man also shouting on French loaf workers that he also faced same thing. Wonderful collection for the ones who have a sweet tooth . They have different types of cakes and pastries.They also have some patties and other snacks and a good variety in breads and chocolates . We were the last customer today as we bought a loaf of multigrain bread . The ambience very good . Some items like cakes and patties were still on the counter .Wonder what they do with that .If they are selling this the next day then is it correct for all the items ???

Worst experience for desserts ever! I ordered a choco flake pastry, an apple pie and a brownie via Swiggy. Apple pie was absolutely under done and felt like eating apple jam with extra sugar alongwith uncooked biscuits. It was supposed to be having cinnamon flavour but couldn't even feel a speck of cinnamon in it. Then there was stale tasting pathetic pastry. The only saving grace was the brownie. And the worst part, I paid 30 rupees as packing charges for a flimsy 50p box. They couldn't afford to pack the items separately or use a bigger box, instead they chose to pack the pie on top of brownie....images attached. Absolutely pathetic!

One of the oldest and best bakeries of Kolkata, they made fresh and limited items of cake daily. Chana cake is the best Choice and they also make wine cakes, fruits cake, butter cake etc and also make various parties whose price range is normal. The shop is very small and close to the Bow barracks beside the Bowbazar police station. At Christmas time we see a big line for the purchase of cake products.

One of the oldest bakeries in Kolkata close to historic Bow Barracks. The shop is somewhat in dilapidated condition but they sell fresh and delicious cakes. They make limited stocks and you will always find fresh cakes everyday. However I think compared to the weight, the products are little over priced Must try : Special Chhanar Cake (₹40 each)

Chicken Patties is must try for which I will visit here again. I really liked the Special Christmas Fruit Cake. Though I didn't like the much hyped 'Chanar Cake' which was very sweet and missing the 'Wow' factor

Iconic cake shop in the Bow Barracks area. You can try their delicious cakes. Especially the channa cake, wine and plum cake. The chicken patties are also good. The price is a little high which should be taken care of.

In my opinion briyani was fairly well. The salt in the chicken did not reach at all. This is the only thing that seemed to me less. Rather than this, the quality and the quantity of briyani rice at this price was perfect. So if you are a hurry customer then ofcourse you can try here but if you trying to get a perfect lunch or dinner then you may choose others. Thank you.❤️

Lovely ambience and interior. The ample space and seating area won our hearts. Courteous and humble staff. My online payment didn’t show on their system, but they dint ask for repeat payment. They waited and asked me to check my a/c, they will revert back if their system won’t show. Served the issue and food with smile and respect. I went to this place after hearing a lot of positive reviews and I was not wrong , the atmosphere is chill and cool , service is top notch . Food - edamame cream cheese wonton to die for and not to be missed for sure , burrata pizza , nachos , hummus platter and the list is endless . A very nice cafe on a very busy road in Alipore They have a very interesting all day dining menu. The service was ok. They made the effort but lacked proper training. Every dish we ordered Tomato Burata on Ciabata, Quesedillas, Pizza Fettucine and Penne in tomato sauce were very well made and presented. The tiramisu desert was also very good. The interiors need a coat of paint The cafe was looking tired. I will definitely like to go there again as the food is well made

Once tried their pizza at a friend’s house and all 3 were so good, that I simply had to go and eat at the cafe/restaurant. I must say, I was not disappointed. The food was absolutely delicious - everything we tried - vegetarian and meat pizzas, tortellini, ravioli - all so good. It was a bit busy so the pizza took a while to get to us. Also I noticed a couple of deliveries go out, hence the delay. Service was really good too. It was a bit noisy as there were a lot of young children, but that’s to be expected. They have wide range of savouries and pastries and other desserts and also coffee. Their crockery is super cute. There’s valet parking in the building and that’s a huge plus, as I know parking can be a nightmare in the vicinity. I’m definitely going back

Was a big fan of their scrolls and repetitive customer, until TODAY. May be a bad day or what, their scroll degraded big time. From a crisp croissant like experience to a chewy bread, this was highly disappointing. The size has gone smaller in a week’s time, although the texture of the scroll is a major letdown. Hope this reaches them in good spirit. Was a go-to guilty pleasure for my whole fam and myself. This was genuinely sad.

We went to their Pretoria Street outlet yesterday. They were reviewed nicely at social media and rated 4.7! We ordered for french butter croissant and hazelnut.scroll. Both of them were pathetic. They were without any crispiness on the surface and fluffiness in the middle. French butter croissant was without any buttery flavour. Both of them were like.a piece of poorly baked bread. Also had the anda pav, which was ok. Coffee was just average, nothing to song and dance about, which the outlet's fb page did! It was a highly disappointing experience. A request to the reviewers: please do a proper job. If not for your reviews, would never have visited this place and wasted 1k.

I came across this new bakery in Kolkata while scrolling Instagram. The items were really tempting and today I ordered Intense Truffle Slice online through Swiggy. The 55% dark chocolate truffle along with the crunchy cashews in the base layer had whipped ganache on top and some gold leaves as well. The texture was perfect and the pastry was moist. The entire thing tastes so heavenly!! They have an outlet in Acropolis as well. Looking forward to try other items!!

We have been visiting Green House Cafe since 3/4 years. But recently the overall atmosphere, food , and hygiene of the restaurant got deteriorated. Air conditions were not working properly, the food we ordered was not at all fresh, toilet was horrible. Moreover, a stinking smell all around. Requesting all the pet parents to check the overall rating of the restaurant before you step in. It's so weird, especially @Salt Lake.

Good place for your pet specially. The staff was well mannered but in my case the food was a bit disappointing although they apologized for the same. Otherwise it's a good place to go. Expect a good price for your food. Happy meal!!

The Wildberry Cheesecake (fresh blueberry cheesecake with white chocolate coating) and Royal Chocolate (a dark chocolate mousse with berry curd and cake) were delectable. I am not a fan of cheesecakes, could never acquire the taste for it, but I loved this one. It is not overpowering like most cheesecakes yet has everything cheesecake lovers want in their cakes. (4/5) The Royal Chocolate was heavenly and dark chocolate lovers must try it! (4.5/5) 💕

Absolute disaster! Couldn’t find a better words to describe my reaction! Ordered a birthday cake for my niece 4th birthday and have requested for a rainbow cake. They should not have accepted my order when they are not sure how a rainbow cake should look or taste like. Look at the pictures and you all would know what I am talking about. It’s only the outer rim that they have made with rainbow coloured icing. Inside it’s fully chocolate with berries, I expected rainbow layers sponge cake with beautiful frosting… truly disappointed and even the kids did not enjoy the most anticipated item of the night!! Moreover, they charged 1800+tax because it’s a special custom cake! No one does savouries pastries & cakes better in all of Kolkata! Can’t recommend it enough - lip smacking. There’s one downside tho - hugely addictive !
