Breakfast restaurant
Nestled in the vibrant Palm Desert area, Wilma & Frieda's Cafe is a delightful destination for breakfast, brunch, and lunch enthusiasts. This bustling eatery specializes in updated comfort food classics that are sure to satisfy any palate. Guests can indulge in customizable omelettes, fluffy pancakes, and decadent Belgian waffles—all favorites among visitors. The cafe’s eclectic decor adds to its charm, while the inviting patio offers a lovely setting to enjoy your meal amidst the desert breeze.
My wife and I decided to try Wilmer and Frieda in Palm Desert after spotting it as the top-rated spot on Yelp, and it totally lived up to the hype! We went for the short rib eggs Benedict and some toast, and both were absolutely fantastic. The short rib was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the eggs Benedict had a rich, flavorful hollandaise that made every bite perfect. The toast was crispy and buttery—simple but spot-on. We also heard from the staff that the place was part of a racetrack diner back in the ‘50s, which gave it a cool, nostalgic charm. They’ve got a tempting display of baked goods, but we were too stuffed to try them this time. The service was outstanding—our server was warm, attentive, and made the whole meal even better. It’s located inside a mall, which we weren’t sure about at first, but it’s easy to find, and parking was no issue at all. We’re already planning our next trip back! If you’re in Palm Desert, this place is a must-visit.

Why do people love this place so much? It's not bad, but it sure isn't worth the hype and the wait times. There are so many other, truly better breakfast places in the area. I tried the short ribs Benedict and it was very disappointing. The beef was not flavorful, not soft and moist, and it was also a very small serving of beef. I figured I'd try another entrée because I can eat and I wanted to give the place a fair shot. I had an omelet and it was honestly not great. The service was good enough, but my coffee cup was empty most of the meal. Again, its not bad, but I'll never go back based off the wait time alone.

Yum yum yum!! Had the Chilaquiles and hubby got the breakfast meatloaf. Mine looked a little plain when came out but man it was very flavorful and filling. They don’t skimp that’s for sure. Delicious. Thank you. :-)
Sharice R — Google review
Nice establishment with outdoor seating. We sat for breakfast and ordered the chile verde with eggs, Meany with a salad, and a yogurt with granola. The Bloody Mary was well stacked, but I felt it needed slightly more alcohol. Great place to eatn I recommend for great service, good plate options and a nice location.
Alan B — Google review
This breakfast was out of this world delicious!! Wow! We went on the way to the living desert zoo, and I couldn’t have been happier with our meal. We had biscuits and gravy, eggs Benedict, and the churro waffles. Everything was delicious and the portions were super. The staff was very friendly and accommodating for our family with three young children! We don’t live close by, but we will absolutely be going back on our next trip to the desert!!

Great food, service, and drinks. The gluten free dread was tasty and fresh. Had the gluten free eggs Benedict. The server was quick and responsive even with it being busy. Hot chai tea was delicious too
Kelsey G — Google review
Arrived for brunch and sat inside which is a little crammed but plus is that it’s not absolutely freezing inside especially in the summer. Had a cappuccino and a latte which they use koffi both average, had the Bloody Mary which was just ok they claimed to have made their own mix but it was pretty bland and watery probably would not get that again especially for the price. Meals we got the Christmas enchiladas which were good and the short rip Benedict also good a lot of meat in that plus shared a churro waffle with mixed berries we were stuffed but ate 2/3 of the waffle it was a nice treat

We discovered Wilma & Frieda ~ 6 years ago. We have enjoyed numerous breakfast and bakery items, all delicious, along with various coffee drinks. Today we opted for lunch. Both melts were flavorful & savory. The accompanying fruit was outstanding. We received wonderful service by our server Juan. Look forward to returning.

Seafood restaurant
Restaurant
Pacifica Seafood Restaurant has been a beloved gathering spot for over 15 years, offering a warm and inviting atmosphere with stunning mountain views. The bustling bar features daily happy hour and nightly specials, while the outdoor patio provides a picturesque setting for any occasion. With an array of seafood options and a selection of drinks, including vodka and wine, Pacifica Seafood Restaurant is the perfect destination for those seeking a delightful dining experience.
Excellent 👌 food and service! Amazing atmosphere! Everything was absolutely delicious! I cannot say enough about this restaurant. Oh my goodness! The baked scallops were so good! I couldn't believe it! Run there now!! We went there for my mom's birthday 🎂.
Kingdom K — Google review
My wife and I visited Pacific Seafood in Palm Desert on a Friday night during a weekend getaway, and it’s clear why this place is so popular. The restaurant was absolutely packed, with the patio being the prime spot—misters sprayed to keep diners cool, and the sunset view was stunning. This a fun spot to soak in the desert vibe. We ordered the octopus appetizer, which was flavorful and well-prepared, followed by seared scallops and salmon for our mains. The scallops were delicious, but the salmon was disappointingly dry. While the food was decent overall, it didn’t quite live up to the hype and could use a bit of refinement to match the restaurant’s reputation. Service, however, was a major letdown. The staff seemed overwhelmed by the crowd, and we faced long waits for everything—taking our order, getting our food, and finally receiving the check. Prices were reasonable, and parking in the mall’s garage out back was easy, but the slow service overshadowed the experience. Pacific Seafood has potential, but they need to step up their game to keep up with the demand.
Regis K — Google review
Great upscale restaurant with excellent staff and food. Impressed with their classy dining room and outdoor patio. It was our 1st time here and thoroughly enjoyed it. Came in early for their specials. Well worth it. Plenty of food at a great price. Will definitely go again.
L B — Google review
While I had already scarfed some scrumptious seafood a few days earlier, I was still craving the sold out seared scallops I had missed out on. So, Cavemom and I decided to make the short jaunt to El Paseo for a visit to the well established Pacifica Seafood Restaurant. Though, she had been there numerous times, it was my first voyage. We started with some cocktails: Cavemom opted for her usual Crater Lake up with blue cheese stuffed olives and an ice back, while I went for their new spicy “Red Hot” signature cocktail - Milagro Silver, triple sec, strawberry purée, lime, jalapeño, with a Tahin and salt rim. Served with some of their delicious warm sourdough and butter, and an order of the Oysters on the Half Shell which came with cocktail sauce, horseradish and a cucumber mignonette (sorry, no pics). It was a great way to start our meal. For our main courses, she chose a half order of their Pan Seared Chilean Seabass with a honey-soy glaze and sesame seeds, served over ginger sticky rice, bok choy, and a green curry-coconut sauce. Meanwhile, I finally got my Seared Sea Scallops with Carrot Puree, Baby Squash, and Sugar Snap Peas (full order). Both were as good as they sound and look! While we were both fairly stuffed, my matriarch insisted that we split their world famous Pacifica's Ice Cream Pie - Vanilla ice cream, Oreo cookie crust, chocolate sauce, macadamia nuts and whipped cream (again, no pics. DOH!). Somehow, we found a way to polish it off completely, it was that delicious. My only complaint was the inattentiveness and behavior of our server which I wouldn't expect from a restaurant of this stature. Twice, I had to ask assistant servers for items I had requested from her. Plus, as I had a piece of bread in my hand about to soak up the remaining sauce on my dish, she grabbed my plate and then asked if I was done with it. My response was "I guess so" as she whisked it away. Obviously, my displeasure was reflected in her tip. Other than that, I highly recommend this place.

⸻ We had a fantastic dinner at Pacifica Seafood Restaurant last night. My partner and I were traveling, and after a long week at work we just wanted a relaxing evening with great wine and a good meal. We were fortunate to be seated in Samantha’s section — she went above and beyond! Not only was the service excellent, but her warmth and engagement truly made the night feel special. The food was outstanding: I had the swordfish, which was cooked perfectly, and my girlfriend loved her scallops. We also enjoyed a great wine selection, and the oysters were phenomenal. Highly recommend Pacifica for both the food and the experience — especially if you’re lucky enough to have Samantha as your server!

Have been here a handful of times and love the consistency! Always very busy, even on a recent Monday when going with a large party. They didn't have a table inside large enough for us. So they set up s couple of heatlamps for us by our table outside. Great service that night and on every previous visit! I always loved their 50% off all bottles of wine on Tuesdays. Great restaurant in a great mall located in a beautiful area of Palm Desert. I highly recommend a visit when you are in this area!
Bill F — Google review
I dined in with some friends and I enjoyed the filet.. although it should be listed as 'petite'.. it was probably 4-5oz for $60. I took home the LARGE order of sea bass for my wife. The piece of fish was barely larger than the sauce container and barely wider than my 2 fingers. $55 for this is crazy. I searched for an email to contact management, instead of reviewing, but no such luck.
John R — Google review
Food was acceptable, but for some reason we had pasta cooked with lots of capers so pasta soaked in the caper marinade and tasted like capers. We asked chef to add salmon and he did, it tasted curry sweet, I guess we just should stick to the menu but swordfish was no longer available so we had to improvise. Second dish is mahi mahi that was good and again super sour souse can’t handle it, maybe it’s just me. Overall atmosphere is good, service very good, I wish food could be little more suitable to our taste.

With its relaxed atmosphere and tropical decor, it’s an ideal spot for enjoying a diverse menu that includes fresh seafood, juicy burgers, creative salads, and tempting desserts.
OMG! This was a fabulous last minute choice while looking for a good margarita. Drinks were perfect and the food was insane! Our waitress (sorry, forgot her name) was amazing and took such great care of us, too. Loved the outdoor deck - sunset was spectacular!

Such an enjoyable location with wonderful service. The menu offerings are a bit larger than the downtown palm springs marlin bar location, but also offer some of the staple/favorites. The service is always friendly. There is generally a bit of a wait, but luckily there is shopping around. I suggest either make a reso, or put your name on the list, shop for a bit, and then wait for your text/table to be ready. I feel it's worth the wait compared to the other food offerings in the area. Thanks for the wonderful food and cheerful service. 😋

Some of the best coconut shrimp I've had. My wife loved her salad. French fries were crispy...ask for extra ketchup. We took advantage of their Happy Hour prices. Cocktails were good.

$126.00 take out order. Hamburger and steak well done not medium. Staff nice and cordial. Goat cheese dip completely embarrassing at any price. This was $18.00 and maybe 4oz of goat cheese. Please see attached photo. Now I know why the place was so empty.

Tommy Bahama never disappoints! Everyone was super friendly from the moment we arrived. We sat on the patio and were served by Bailey — she was so sweet, friendly, and helpful. The food was delicious as always and totally met our expectations. Such a great evening at Tommy Bahama!

This was a delicious lunch! We had chips and guacamole, and the lobster eggrolls for an appetizer both were excellent. We also had the crunchy chicken Benedict. I think it was called. It was fantastic. Mahi-mahi tacos, outstanding and the mango chicken salad also delicious. Fantastic service and it is a beautiful restaurant. We loved our lunch here and can’t wait to go back.

Tommy Bahama is always very consistent from the staff to the food. We love coming here when I’m in town. Our bartender was very nice and super attentive. Food was delicious. Everything was just great!
Carman C — Google review
The food was okay. We went for lunch and had the pork chop and the hamburger. The pork chop was good, but the sides were a bit disappointing. The hamburger was soggy, and the patty was, for some reason, crumbly. The service was questionable, as the wait time for both ordering and getting the check was long.

Nestled in the vibrant El Paseo shopping district of Palm Desert, Il Corso is a delightful urban bar and eatery that brings the essence of Italy to life. With its inviting outdoor seating, it's an ideal spot for people-watching while enjoying wood-fired pizzas and elevated Italian dishes crafted by executive chef Mario Marfia.
We recently dined at Il Corso and had a lovely experience. The restaurant wasn’t too busy, creating a relaxed atmosphere. We tried the octopus carpaccio, which was delicious, and enjoyed a couple of drinks. The staff were very friendly, adding to the overall positive experience. We would definitely go back!

This Italian restaurant in Palm Desert is a great option with good food and a beautiful atmosphere. We ordered the octopus and the sirloin salad from the lunch menu, and both were really good—fresh, flavorful, and on the lighter side. The pricing was very fair, making it a great value for the quality.
Mónica C — Google review
Amazing experience altogether. I asked for a lobster dish and they recommended me the surf and turf. Absolutely awesome with such tender steak! And for the desert part make sure you try the chocolate cake with ice cream you won’t regret it :)

Wow! What a great Italian restaurant with great food, service and location! From the moment we entered the restaurant, we were treated with kindness and respect until the end. Our waiter attended to us very well, which we truly appreciated. The food is absolutely excellent and perfect! Our table absolutely loved their items, whether it be the steak, grilled chicken or the pasta; everything was perfect! The food was so great that we also ordered desserts, which we never do! I ordered the berry panna cotta, which was delicious. The ice creams were also tasty. Overall, we were impressed, pleased and extremely satisfied with everything. As such, I absolutely recommend this restaurant!!
Nezam N — Google review
Right from the beginning, our experience at Il Corso on El Paseo was unforgettable. The service was continuous and attentive throughout the evening. Our waiter, Marcos, was excellent—he gave thoughtful recommendations and introduced the restaurant manager that shared his wine expertise. The food was authentic and delicious—we had the carbonara and fish ravioli for our mains, both outstanding. The carpaccio was another highlight, and we ended with a trio of desserts: tiramisu, cannoli, and a decadent hazelnut chocolate cake. We were also impressed to learn that the chef is from Italy, which really shows in the flavors and authenticity of the dishes. We’d happily return and look forward to bringing friends and family to share this wonderful Italian dining experience.
Trina S — Google review
We cannot say enough about how amazing this spot was!!! Everything was incredible! We started with the calamari...best we've ever had! We both had the lasagna special, which was out of this world! For dessert we had the bread pudding..... OMG!! To die for!! The staff was awesome, and very accommodating for our dog joining us in the outside seating area. You can tell this place is owned and operated by someone who is authentically Sicilian, and it will always be a spot for us when visiting the area from now on!
Matthew S — Google review
Unfortunately, our recent visit to Il Corso left much to be desired. Despite the restaurant not being busy, we waited 10 minutes before any staff member acknowledged us, even having to call someone over while the team stood around chatting among themselves. When our pasta finally arrived, it was stuck together and undercooked - clearly not up to the restaurant's usual standards. To their credit, they did take the dishes back and brought us new ones, but the damage to our dining experience was already done. I suspect this might be an end-of-season issue with their regular team possibly being out and less experienced staff handling the kitchen. While the staff were friendly enough, there was a general sense of indifference and fatigue - they seemed tired and uninterested in providing genuine hospitality. Il Corso has potential, but on this visit, the poor service timing, food quality issues, and lackluster attitude from the team made for an unpleasant evening. Hopefully they can get back to their standards with their full team in place. Would I return? Maybe during peak season when their A-team is presumably working, but this experience was disappointing enough to give me pause.
Alex A — Google review
My friend and I came in at around 5:30pm on a Friday, and there was no wait as we were immediately seated. The ambiance of the place was very nice. The bread provided was very good and the oil that went with it was nicely paired. Service was pretty exceptional, and our water was constantly refilled. The food was very delicious and filling as well. I got the Ravioli all’Aurora and my friend got a pizza with extra meat toppings. Both tasted great. We finished it with a chocolate hazelnut cake which was also good. I liked that it wasn't too sweet it was a nice dessert. I would definitely come back and recommend this place to others. We were provided a satisfying experience.

Ristorante Mamma Gina is a renowned Italian restaurant located in Palm Desert, offering traditional Italian dishes and happy-hour specials in an upscale setting since 1986. The restaurant boasts an extensive menu with offerings such as a $15 filet grilled to perfection and served with homemade mushroom sauce, along with $6 martinis available all day during happy hour.
I highly recommend this Italian restaurant if you’re visiting Indian Wells. The food is unreal. We enjoyed everything we ordered. See pictures for more details. The service is amazing. Our server Jose, was so helpful and attentive. He was also very friendly. All staff were amazing! They really added to the positive experience. Atmosphere is really nice. My wife and I came here for the happy hour what receiving a suggestion from a guest staying at the same hotel as us. We arrived at 7 pm, wrote our name on the board and were immediately seated. We were greeted by our waiter named Irvin. He was super nice. Very attentive all night. He provided us with great food suggestions. He has been there for 20 yrs and he is amzon in his efforts!!! The place was packed, very lively. We didn't have to dress up which we were happy about..lol. Happy Hour drink prices were great and the food prices were moderate. When our food came, I was happy with mine. I ordered the shrimp scampi with spaghetti. My wife ordered the black ravioli with ricotta and lobster. For $16, she received 4 small pieces and sauce. Not worth it all. She had to order another meal to make up for that one because she was still hungry. She ordered spaghetti bolognese. This was a hit! We had a great conversation with Sam (I think that's his name. He also works at Sands. Check him out if you go to either). We talked about NYC and his trip that he will one day make there. It was nice to have that talk because we are both grin Brooklyn, NY and his energy was a breath of fresh air. Overall..we had a blast here. We will definitely return when we visit again. Hope to see you both again soon.

On a special weekend with friends, we could have gone to dinner at one of the many restaurants in the area, but Ristorante Mamma Gina had the best reviews for SERVICE. Let me tell you, the reviews did not lie! I booked through OpenTable, and Olivia called me to confirm the reservation time because she noticed that the time on the reservation didn’t sound right. When we got there, Zaldi greeted us and presented us with a personal touch that Olivia arranged for us that was SO SPECIAL! I’m talking, “Eleven Madison Park” and Will Guidara levels of hospitality. Because of Olivia, we will always remember that dinner! Aaron (spelling?) took care of us that night. He was helpful, professional, and funny. As for food, the capellini al pomodoro was SO good, and the sautéed spinach (Florentine style) was so delicious. Never been to Florence and can’t speak on Florentine-style anything, but Mamma Gina’s way is the only way spinach should ever be cooked from here to eternity. SO GOOD! (And non-dairy, btw)

We loved it so much that we enjoyed three evenings… a special thank you to Mariano for his genuine hospitality and kindness! Every restaurant needs a Mariano! We highly recommend and we can’t wait to come back, feels like home!

Came here on a Saturday night during Spring Break ‘24. Place is full and has an hour wait. Waiter suggests we eat at the bar and order from Happy Hour menu. He told us we can restaurant menu will be offered at the bar as well. We had two teens and they were okay to sit in the bar. Happy Hour menu have lots of smaller portion dinner at cheaper price. We were very happy with the services we received and everyone at our party love our food. I had veal. It was super tender and the sauce was fantastic. We definitely will come back again when we are back to Palm Spring area. We will sit in bar area and order small dinner plates mostly under $20. We will order couple of extra plates to share. We also had a cheesecake and it was really creamy and delicious.

Its fine dinning but not a fine experience. The waiter could not get us out of there any faster despite the restaurant being almost empty. We were seated in a terrible location in the dinning room that was almost empty. We needed help with the menu as the dishes are Italian and the waiter seemed annoyed by this. We ordered pasta which was ready almost before the order went in. Needless to say it was not very good, I really just wanted to pay the bill and leave.

Yes, yes, yes. My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful spinach salad with pears and Margherita pizza with extra basil. They forgot the extra but before we could say anything Louise our bar tender was right on it. Great guy. We are out of towners but he made us feel like one of the locals. Great atmosphere. Even had a surprise clown ( not the scary kind) that was hilarious.

Exceptional authentic Neopolitan pizza . I have tried most of the pizzas but the simple margherita is my fave! I had the arugula salad to start with the citrus dressing and of course town’s best cappuccino ! Love this place, atmosphere, service and food all top notch.

Went to Piero’s tonight for dinner. Got the shrimp spinach and artichoke dip for an app and it was good. My wife and I both of pizzas and both were excellent! Can’t say enough about the food, really good. The service, u fortunately wasn’t though. We had reservations at 7 and got Arturo as the waiter. He never checked in to see how the app was or the pizzas, I had to ask for the bill. We wanted to get desert but didn’t want to have to ask him for everything! He started cleaning up the restaurant at 8 and was so focused on that he couldn’t care less we were in the restaurant. I would go back, but would ask for someone else next time.

To start, we had a reservation for our party, and arrived on time. Multiple tables were open as it was early in the evening. They sat us right in front of, not to the side, not far enough for access, but right in front of the storage room for the bar/alcohol. They were constantly going on and out of the room, knocking our chairs, and bumping us every time. I asked to be moved, and the host refused. Plenty of empty tables to accommodate. He then promised no one would be in the room anymore. Needless to say, 10 min later, more people in and out. It was very disruptive of our dinner. It really did spoil the evening. The food was good. The pizza was good. But they do have a lot of competition in the area. Once we had our food, no return visits from the wait staff until I flagged them down for the check. I used to be a big fan, and frequented very often for lunch, but I'll find somewhere else now.

The server was extremely rude and dismissive toward us. After forgetting to bring straws, she threw them at my children when we politely asked for them. It felt like we were being treated differently because of our race — we noticed that other (white) customers received much friendlier service. I mentioned this to the management on our way out, but they didn’t seem to care and just said “goodnight.” If you're not white, I’d recommend avoiding this place.

The cafe's Parisian patio is a popular spot for enjoying lunch while the interior is adorned with fine French art.
Hold on ,my mouth is full, let me swallow my coq au vin before I share with you how delicious the food tastes. Gulp. Yummy! This is a little side trip to Paris in Palm Desert. Attentive service and an explosion of deep flavors. I had the chicken coq au vin and French onion soup, which was spectacular. Everything on this menu is delicious. Can’t wait to go back and try the other delectable treats..

Cute place with great food and friendly service. Escargot was delicious, loved my French onion soup.

Accepting a subtle greeting from the usher, i took a table by the roadside (open) window. Had to ask for the table. The greeter can do a better job asking for preferences. From here on, the experience exceeded my expectations. The coffee! Awesome. I complemented the coffee and the attendant insisted i get as much coffee as i can drink :-). I ordered Mediterranean Frittata and a plate of plain crepe without powdered sugar. The food was tasty and hot. Using my hands to dip a rolled crepe in the syrup, i downed it with a sip of hot coffee. Yum. Had a leisurely breakfast, ate everything except the plates. Recommend this restaurant for a leisurely sumptuous experience. Avoid sitting at the bar (nothing against it) or the inside booths as the street side tables are more relaxing.

horrible experience. Nancy one of the waitresses had a horrible attitude towards me and my daughter the whole time. Owner/ manager I don’t know but he had an aditude. Cut me off while I was talking multiple times. I didn’t even get food the service was so bad!! the only nice person was the man who worked out front. Props to him everyone else take notes.

Great patio area! Strawberry crepe was delicious. The coffee was more like diner coffee than what I would expect from a French cafe. Overall a good experience.

My wife and I had a wonderful dinner tonight. Tonight’s special was a white fish, perfectly grilled, moist on the inside with a light crust. The Crepe Suzette was perfect with a balance of orange, lemon, and brown sugar. One can taste the fragrance of the orange, the sweetness of the sugar, and the zest of lemon. Wonderful experience.

My boyfriend picked out the spot. How cute is this restaurant! There is our on the wall and French breakfast and lunch options? It was nearing noon so I decided to get a salad. The tuna was a little bit dry, But with some added olive oil and dressing it was much better. It was really delicious salad and perfect for a hot summer day and Palm Desert ! My boyfriend ordered the creeper omelette and that was also just as good. They have these misters that line the outer rim of the restaurant so you can feel the mist while you’re sitting outside which is lovely.

Such amazing food and such a great experience. The staff was incredible and their recommendations were top notch. Mitch and his wife were super friendly and stopped by to greet us. Sushi was incredibly fresh and unique combinations. Definitely eat the crispy rice!! And the non-sushi options were a hit too. Def save room for dessert.

Went here for a birthday celebration, and it was a fantastic experience! It was also everyone's first time coming, and the whole group could not stop talking about how good the food and service were. Our waitress was so great at checking in with us about our drinks, food, and even making sure we weren't too hot since we sat outside. I didn't grab any photos of everyone else's food (we dug in almost immediately), but I did get mine! I ordered the jumbo shrimp and scallops plate. It was my first time trying scallops, actually. I loved the texture of those and that the food was SO hot and tasty. The mashed potatoes were divine (though I'm a sucker for anything potato). Overall, I would highly recommend coming here for any celebration.

We’ve been fans of this upscale restaurant since they first opened. Mitch and his wife Melissa are hands-on owners and at least one of them is usually there to greet you. The large bar with plenty of seating and unique decor boasts a terrific happy hour. You’ll enjoy top notch cocktails and a stunning wine list. The dining menu has something for everyone—including a fabulous sushi bar whose items can be enjoyed anywhere on site. My faves—salmon sashimi and a roll called the “808.”During season the outdoor seating is perfect—make sure you look up while sitting in the covered area! We love it for lunch and dinner. Closed for awhile over the summer—check the website for details. Reservations recommended.

Our favorite restaurant in the desert! The food is exceptional, and the service equally as magnificent. Mitch is the consummate restaurateur and a fun host. Our favorite waiter is Daniel. The wine selection is spectacular, with a wide variety of delicious options at price points for everyone. You can’t go wrong here. The crispy rice is always a highlight. I’m always impressed with the sushi, and they nail any fish they put on the menu. This last time, I tried the pork chop which was one of the best I’ve had. Don’t miss an opportunity to eat here!

Mitch’s always offers a great experience… we had to book early as it was in season, and it was busy then as well. I had the rack of lamb which was sensational and we also had the sole, which was very tasty…. The desserts were also excellent. Our waiter was fabulous and always attentive to our needs…. Plenty of car parking around the back and they have a Valet too…. If you just want a drink, they have a very well stocked bar too

When planning a romantic escape to Palm Desert, a visit to Mastro's Steakhouse is a must for an intimate and delicious dining experience. Located at The Gardens on El Paseo, this well-loved eatery offers a vast menu of options in an undeniably intimate setting. Enjoy the swanky lounge with talented crooners performing nightly, creating the perfect ambiance for a date night out.
This is a large and vibrant steakhouse that offers an impressive dining experience with both excellent food and top-notch service. The atmosphere is lively, and while it’s a busy spot, the attention to detail from the staff makes it feel welcoming and comfortable. The cocktails are strong, flavorful, and expertly crafted, although, as is typical with high-end restaurants, they come at a premium price. The appetizers and salads were absolutely delightful, setting the stage for the main course. The steaks were cooked to perfection, tender and full of flavor, just as you'd hope from a quality steakhouse. And for dessert, the butter cake was a showstopper — rich, indulgent, and truly out of this world. This restaurant is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience with great food, service, and ambiance.

Pretty amazing dinner for our birthdays. Amazing quality of food and wow. We all know expensive and a great steakhouse, but theirs was about 15 % + too expensive. Again, amazing, but to make it more often for us, it is too much. Seafood tower a la carte was impressive, but like $10 a bite. Steak was great and reasonably priced. Sides and drinks were a bit on the high side too. Yes, I knew to expect a great meal and pricey. We will be back, but more on a budget for a meal. I do recommend trying it if you havent.

Everything about Mastro’s was fantastic! Our server was super friendly and knowledgeable. I read a lot of complaints about it being loud inside the restaurant with live music but honestly it wasn’t loud at all. It was just enough noise to be enjoyable. My husband and I ordered the bacon steak appetizer and it was so delicious! I got the 8 ounce filet topped with lobster and bernaise it was hands down one of the best filets I’ve ever tasted! There was so much lobster it made it well worth the additional price. My husband got the 22 ounce bone in rib eye with bone barrow butter. He said it was fantastic! (Bone marrow butter a bit costly $15) We also got the Mac n cheese, scalloped potatoes and creamed spinach for sides. Wasn’t a huge fan of the creamed spinach felt like it was just a little lacking in flavor. Dessert we split the key lime pie and warm butter cake. OMG. That butter cake is unbelievable!!! Key lime pie was also delicious! Thank you to Mastros for making my birthday dinner fantastic and memorable!

By far the best meal in town! I was visiting for a mom getaway and googled nearby steak restaurants when Mastro’s popped up. I ordered the filet mignon with truffle butter, the scalloped potatoes and broccolini with a bottle of Argle bubbles. It was PERFECTION! Perfectly cooked steak, the truffle butter sent it over the top! BEST STEAK I HAVE EVER HAD! and I’ve been to the best everywhere I travel. The sides were perfection and the staff… simply AMAZING! When offered dessert we were too full but decided to book a reservation for the next day to try it and repeat the steak/butter combo. The next day, did not disappoint! Ordered the same steak and butter combo with a bottle of bubbles and the bread service. It was, yet again, perfection! Then the butter cake… no exaggeration here… the best cake I’ve ever had! It’s buttery… crispy, soft, simply the best! It’s been decided, this is the only place I will go for dinner in the Palm Springs area. The staff remembered us from the night before and again, they were amazing! Thank Mastro’s :)

This is a wonderful steakhouse and a exceptional meal. I thought the staff was courteous and attentive. The atmosphere was pleasing, could use a bit of a refresher. I haven't been here in a long time and I was a bit surprised to see the exact same decor. However, my real gripe is the sides. Let me say the steaks were cooked perfectly, a touch under seasoned. The sides though...oh my. If you've read my reviews, I grade on a scale of value to product received. I was not happy with the quality of the sides. No time was taken in preparation. Under cooked vegetables and proper time and depth of flavor was not given to them. They did deserve better from such a high-end restaurant. I still dropped 5 stars but I would really say 4.4.

Cuistot is an elegant restaurant in Palm Desert, known for its French cuisine and carefully selected wine list. The charming establishment, owned by Chef Bernard Dervieux, offers a country-modern ambiance with fireplaces and various dining spaces including quaint rooms, a patio, a bar, and a separate area for tasting menus.
Always a great experience at Cuistot. All of the food is delicious, traditional French cuisine. Enjoyed some of the best mushroom soup I’ve ever tasted. Beautiful interior, excellent service, fantastic cocktails.

By far the worst meal we’ve had in Palm Desert! The bread was old, the food wasn’t good at all and the place was empty! That should have been a sign! I feel bad for the server since he was super nice. Never again!
Lilly R — Google review
Cuistot is pretty good when it comes to food. That Classic Cassoulet Toulousain was everything I wanted – the meat was just how you’d hope, and the whole thing was spot on. And the bread they serve is fantastic. I recommend keeping some on hand if you ordered the Cassoulet as well! Had a Black Manhattan too, and let me tell you, it was strong in the best way. It’s nice to find a spot that doesn’t mess around, many I've had are so light on the alcohol it's almost a waste of time. But, fair warning, the service could use a speed boost. Waiting for our drinks felt like forever, and the food took its sweet time too. The good news is, it's all worth it once you get it. Plus, the place itself is gorgeous, especially if you catch that patio scene at sunset. And as a side note there is a sculpture garden with awesome water features next to the restaurant for an after dinner stroll. So, if you’re down to chill and not in any rush, Cuistot is where it’s at. Just sit back, enjoy the scene, and get ready for some top-notch eats and drinks.

Ambiance fit with the French theme. We both enjoyed our dinner. The quenelles were spectacular. Short rib ravioli was excellent. Spectacular choice of wines.

How could you miss the opportunity to enjoy classic Lyonnaise cooking by someone who worked under the direction of Chef Paul Bocuse in Lyon? In short, you don't. The rustic feel of the dining room is well matched to the authentic Lyonnaise cuisine served at this long running kitchen since 1987. Asked to be seated by the fireplace to enjoy a romantic evening that is hard to match. The Quenelles were fluffy clouds of seafood served baked with gruyere in a buttery and savory lobster sauce and a sign of the chef's more haute cuisine penchant. The rack of lamb is to be savored slowly with a well balanced Coteaux du Rhône. It's prepared with vegetables and a gratin dauphinoise that is delectable and is well matched to the herby cuts of lamb.

For our 20th anniversary, my wife and I made a special trip to Palm Desert from LA to have dinner at Cuistot. The restaurant met our expectations with excellent service and a beautifully prepared meal. We had a starter of Braised Short Rib Ravioli and our entrees were Roasted Rack Of Lamb and Skillet Roasted Veal Chop, The restaurant comped our dessert, a decadent Floating Island, basically a pile of meringue. A bottle of wine, a couple of cocktails and we were good to go. It's a expensive dinner but not outrageous and very, very satisfying.

My partner bought gift certificates for here but passed away before we could use them. After finding the certificates a while later, I took a very good friend to celebrate his birthday. This was our first time here and what a treat it was. The place is located very close to the intersection of Hwy 111 and El Paseo. Valet parking is available as well as sell parking. From the outside, Cuistot has a beautiful, large European / French classic style building. Very elegant entrance that opens to the reception desk. The first thing I noticed was their dress policy - "Desert Business Casual". No t-shirts, tank tops, or short shorts - just nice and classy. The receptionist checked verified our reservation and offered indoor or outdoor seating. Also whether we preferred a table or booth. We chose an indoor booth. He sat us in a large, beautiful, French dining room with a beautiful vaulted ceiling and fireplaces. Gorgeous! The wait person arrived in a few moments, gave us a menu, and took our drink order. He chose hot tea and I chose iced tea. The menu offered a wide variety of French cuisine and a wide range of prices. Their menu is posted on their website so you can see what is offered ahead of time. Shortly, the wait person brought our drinks and took our order. My friend chose the Carpacio and I ordered the Mushroom Soup. For the entre we both ordered the beef filet substituting asparagus for the green beans. The appetizers arrived shortly. The Carpacio was excellent and was served with all the fixings. The Mushroom Soup was excellent. Slightly tangy with the rich unami flavor of the mushrooms. They also served slices of a hot, crusty baguette with butter - delicious and the butter was soft enough to spread unlike a lot of other places. Shortly, the steaks arrived, cooked to perfection. Chopped shallots topped the steak with perfect asparagus, and other items that were delicious but I don't remember their French names. But, everything was excellent! When we finished, they surprised my friend with a puff pastry stuffed with custard and with hot caramel sauce and raspberries. I don't remember the French name but saw it on the online menu. Overall, it was a delicious meal. Pricy but worth it. The food, the service, the ambiance, everything was great. No complaints whatsoever. I have a couple more gift certificates and look forward to coming back soon!

Went to Saturday brunch at this beautifully appointed and furnished restaurant. It was a rather wintery day so the fireplace seemed especially welcoming. On the menu were mushroom soup and creamy spinach soup, both delicious. This was followed by fresh berry compote and croissants. The entrees were a Gruyere and cheddar cheese souffle, very classic, as well as eggs and steak with Bordelaise sauce. This seemed more American and very generous portion size. Next time we will be sure to save more room for dessert!

Nestled in the heart of the local dining scene, Oceana Restaurant is a must-visit for seafood enthusiasts and land lovers alike. This charming eatery offers an impressive array of creative dishes, from tantalizing lobster guacamole to perfectly adobo deep-fried red snapper. The menu also features traditional steak options, ensuring there's something for everyone. As you explore their extensive mezcal selection and housemade margaritas, don’t forget to inquire about the daily catch—it's a highlight!
We enjoyed one of the best meals we have had in a long time at Oceana Restaurant! We started with amazing margaritas and the garlic bread side which was garlicky and soft (an order has about 8 pieces-more than enough for two people). We also had the Calamari Milanese which was served as a steak and fried to a crispy perfection. I had the Drunken Shrimp which I’ll be dreaming about for a while! My husband had the flat iron steak which he said was seasoned well and cooked to his desired temperature. The service was outstanding, too! We highly recommend Oceana.

Lovely restaurant!! We came with a big group for a birthday dinner and the staff was very kind and accommodating. The restaurant has nice ambience and the food was delicious. I tried the garlic bread and drunken shrimp which were very flavorful. My partner got the surf and turf which was good but drunken shrimp was better. The drinks were yummy too. Our server, Gina, was the best! Would recommend!

Visited this place and was a bit skeptical at first, but the reviews were great so decided to try it. I’m so glad I did! What a pleasant experience! From the greetings when I first walked in, to the attentiveness of Francisco, my server, to the absolute fabulous recommendations of food, everything was great. Started off with an appetizer that wasn’t on the menu but was the special for the day…it was a shrimp app with a garlic cream sauce placed in a bread bowl with spinach, tomatoes, some other delicious spices…10/10. I also got the Lobster Guacamole…it came with chips/pita points that were fried perfectly (not too hard or greasy) 8/10. For my entree, I got the BBQ Salmon sandwich with a side Caesar salad. This probably was my least favorite thing I tasted…it was a spin on a pulled pork sandwich, but the barbecue sauce was overwhelming. I would have enjoyed it more if there was less BBQ sauce. I would ask for it on the side if I were to get it again. 6/10. Overall, I REALLY enjoyed the experience and will definitely go back!

The restaurant is a little on the fancy side. The gentleman host was very hospitable yet the waitress ruined it. While being seated the host suggested an asparagus soup and the spinach seafood dip and those two were simply delicious! The waitress somehow insisted on the octopus and I informed her that this is my favorite plate if it’s prepared the right way. The octopus was a little extra charred and salty with an extra salty sauce that made it inedible! Thank goodness for the host who asked about my opinion and when he tried it he actually replaced it with a much better octopus which I took it with me at home.

Spent a few days in Palm Desert helping the Cavemom with some stuff. We were both craving good seaborn grub. Decided to give Oceana Restaurant a go. It was a phenomenal choice! Cavemom wasn't starving, and decided that a Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail would do the trick. I was craving some jumbo seared scallops, and got excited when I saw they had those delectable crustaceans on the menu. Unfortunately my gastronomic glee was cut short when our server informed me they were sold out. My daughter often reminds me that things happen for a reason ... that was never more accurate here. I quickly switched my order to the Pulpo a la Gallega: Spicy octopus tentacle & jumbo shrimp served over pesto risotto with house veggies. This dish was definitely one of the best creations I've ever consumed! We had enough room for dessert and, at our server's suggestion, tried the Carlota, an Orange Coconut Torte with Dulce de Leche. I have to admit that I probably would not have ordered that on my own. But, DAYUM that was delicious. Highly recommend this place!

Sherman's Deli & Bakery is a delightful gem nestled in Palm Desert, offering an authentic taste of New York-style deli fare from dawn until dusk. Since its inception in 1963, this beloved establishment has become renowned for its extensive menu that features everything from hearty breakfast options like omelettes and lox to mouthwatering sandwiches that have even caught the eye of Guy Fieri on 'Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives.'
Excellent deli food. Loved the wonderful and perfect matzo ball soup! It was outstanding. I like that they have bottled soft drinks to enjoy with lunch. The portions are huge. Gabriela was outstanding and an excellent waitress. She went above and beyond to make our luncheon perfect. She has a cheerful and upbeat attitude and made us feel very comfortable. I would not recommend the chicken sandwich; it was overcooked and did not smell right! Their pickles, coleslaw, corned beef, French fries and sauerkraut were terrific and marvelous. Their cakes are to die for delicious. A must see place; you will leave very full and very happy.

Classic New York-style deli with a Grandpa vibe dining room that delivers exactly what you’d hope for. Had the corned beef hash with eggs over easy, home fries, and a toasted everything bagel with cream cheese. The hash was rich and well-seasoned without being greasy, eggs were perfect, and the potatoes had a nice crisp. Solid breakfast all around. The bagel was fresh, not just tossed on the plate as an afterthought. Definitely a reliable stop when you’re craving a proper deli breakfast.

We are from out of town and this is the first time we tried this place. Let me say it was amazing food. You know it's probably a good place when it's 11:00 in the morning on a Tuesday and it's packed inside. It's a bakery/ restaurant/deli. Check out the pics included. They show some of the most delicious desserts and cutting fresh meat for the deli sandwiches. Our server, Lori, was amazing and super friendly. We got the sticky bun and it was huge and tasted so delicious. If you haven't been there, add it as a must do if you're in town. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

Stopped here because I was in the area and it had great reviews. I will probably come her for lunch later this week and try out their deli offerings. I ordered the con-beef hash. Man was it good. The corned beef was crumbled (vs shredded) and the flavor of the meat, eggs and potatoes was delectable. Fresh Agave Mexican Bar & Grill is a vibrant and cozy cantina located in Palm Desert, offering a blend of contemporary and traditional Mexican dishes. The owner, Rigo Garcia, has realized his lifelong dream with this restaurant after 20 years in the Coachella Valley's restaurant industry. The menu features mouthwatering tamales, house margaritas, and an extensive happy hour selection. With colorful walls and a warm ambiance, this spot also boasts a large hidden patio for outdoor dining.
An excellent place for dinner. We sat outside as it was a little quieter and the weather was perfect. The veggie tacos were perfect and the La casa ground beef burrito was fantastic. The chips were super crunchy and the salsa blended delightfully. We are very glad we stopped here for dinner and I highly recommend if you are looking for some amazing Mexican food drop in here.

The establishment features an outdoor patio with misters; the staff were friendly and provided a wide selection of food, including gluten-free options. While my chile relleno was satisfactory, the rice and beef were dry. The beans were flavorful, and the fajita burrito was excellent. Although somewhat pricey, the generous portions of rice and beans compensated. I would consider dining there again.

Amazing experience! Went with my mom and my aunt and we had such a lovely time. Our drinks came out in record time (were quite strong) and our server Arturo was phenomenal. The salsa was spicy but I could not stop!! So fresh and tasty. I had the enchiladas and they were so delicious. Tacos were very well received as well. Rice and beans complimented my meal nicely. Great portions. Can’t wait to be back!!

Our go to every time we are visiting Palm Desert. I always take 2 orders of the poblano soup home with me...it is amazing! The menu has a huge variety and it's always so hard to decide because everything is so good. Margarita's are strong and delicious! Thank you Fresh Agave! We will be back soon!

If you're looking for strong drinks that actually taste amazing 🍹🔥—Fresh Agave is IT! Their cocktails are next level—you feel them, but they go down so smooth. Every time I go, it’s a full experience. My must-haves? 🧀 Queso Fundido – cheesy, melty perfection. 🌶️ Chipotle Chiles Agave – yellow peppers stuffed with sautéed shrimp, tomatoes, cilantro, and onions, all topped with their creamy homemade chipotle sauce... UNREAL. Let’s not forget the chips and salsa 🫶🏽—fresh, flavorful, and honestly addictive. Whether you're just popping in for a drink + chips, or going all out with dinner, this spot never disappoints. I live an hour away and still make the drive—that’s how good it is. Fresh Agave is hands down my go-to for Mexican food 🌮💯 Always worth it, every single time.

First time here. We were shocked at how fast the food and drinks came out even though they were packed for the fights! Nice ambience. Everything was clean and the food was amazing. Our server was nice. Will be coming back when we're in the area

Got here about 7pm which is late for me and sat at the bar. Place was pretty full and it was a lively crowd. Ordered a shot of tequila and a beer along with the taco trio. Service was quick and efficient. Prices are a little high but I will say that my food was excellent. Alot of times when you order 3 different tacos one meat is either dry or not enough meat or just doesn't taste good. All 3 of my tacos (carne asada, carnitas and pollo) were the bomb. Full of delicious meat with guacamole and cojiho cheese...I didn't know which was the best. If you like tacos this after great place. Highly recommend.

Nestled in the heart of Palm Desert, Guillermo's Restaurante is a delightful haven for lovers of traditional Mexican cuisine. This family-owned gem has been serving up fresh and flavorful dishes since 2003, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that feels like dining in Mexico itself. With both indoor seating and a charming patio—perfect for enjoying meals with your furry friends—Guillermo's caters to everyone.
First time going to this place totally on a whim and based on quick (one minute) search on internet and google map ratings. BOY were we surprised and in a good way. Apparently they typically close for the summer & they took over an adjacent space recently so they’re doing this semi open summer menu gig to see how it works out. Not a whole lot of seating but don’t be dismayed, Mario behind the bar will take care of you. HE IS AWESOME and his drinks are DA BOMB 💣! Food is pretty spectacular as well,, carnitas fajitas were wicked good (wife who loves steak fajitas felt my carnitas were way better than her steak and she will order carnitas there from now on).. the kids chicken strips order is expensive ($15!!) but you get your moneys worth.. just can’t say enough good things about this place,, it’s awesome.

Guillermo's makes my favorite margaritas and carne asada enchilada with green sauce. I love the beautiful glassware they use for their drinks and their plates are so special. Love Guillermo's! Best make a reservation, I usually go for lunch but dinner gets filled up fast, so I recommend making a reservation for that.

Service was fantastic as was the food. Sadly I only took 1 picture. I was very much enjoying the company and the food to take more.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Adam Approved ✅ Guillermo’s is the real deal. The fajitas came out sizzling hot — perfectly seasoned chicken with peppers and onions that were just as good as the meat. Big portions, tons of flavor, and their Guillermo’s Margarita is a must-have. Great spot to kick back, enjoy good food, and strong drinks. 100% Adam Approved.

5 Stars! Service is impeccable! My daughter dropped her fork and a new clean one arrived by the staff in about 3 seconds. The Margheritas are delicious! Their house chips and salsa was great. The salsa was warm and I've never had warm salsa but I liked it. I ordered the vegetarian fajitas they were very yummy. Everyone was satisfied with their meal. The service was on top of everything. Honestly, it was an amazing night out with family and we had a wonderful time!

I have eaten at Guillermo’s many times and always look forward to returning. The restaurant is comfortable and gives you the feeling that you are in a restaurant somewhere in Mexico. It is a family owned and family run restaurant that prides itself on not only good food, but excellent service. You get both while dining here, sitting there sipping on your favorite beverage enjoying chips and freshly made salsa, waiting for your dinner. Guillermo’s is normally busy, so reservations are recommended. The menu provides you with many difficult choices as to what feast you will enjoy for the evening. No matter what your choice the food will be delicious. So if you are looking for good Mexican food with a comfortable, festive atmosphere, I would highly recommend Guillermo’s.
Rick T — Google review
We've been coming to the area for 15 yrs, sorry we never ran across this place before. It was delicious. We had the Carnitas Plate and a Shrimp Dish, Margaritas were great. Carnitas were on point, tender and full of flavor. Regular Salsa was OK but we like it hot and ask for hotter. Their spicy green salsa was perfect.
Leo G — Google review
Went to Guillermo’s before a work trip wanting some good authentic Mexican food and margs, and WOW did it deliver. The margaritas were perfect and large, the chips and salsa was perfect, and both of our entrees were tender and seasoned to PERFECTION! Also, the glassware and dishes at this place are STUNNING! Will definitely come back.

Morgan's in the Desert is a sophisticated and elegant restaurant located at La Quinta Resort & Club in California. The eatery boasts a charming hacienda-style decor and features a courtyard adorned with vibrant purple bougainvillea. It has a cozy piano bar offering vintage cocktails and an extensive wine selection, including many wines available by the glass.
If I could give this place 100 stars I would. WOW! I’ve been traveling the world, like all over the world, like Asia, Latin America, and Europe, and I can honestly say this food is at the top of my list! THE VERY TOP. I have ALOT of allergies so I just gave them the list and they took care of me — adjusting everything and tweaking recipes just for me :) The food is INCREDIBLE but WAIT there’s more. The service is THE BEST I’ve ever had. My waitress, Marilynn was the sweetest lady ever. The GM, the chef, Sous chef all came by to show love and ask me how I was enjoying my dinner. The atmosphere is 10/10!!! Newly renovated, super schick and beautiful decor. The performers were top notch and such a vibe! A man and lady were singing and playing piano and the saxophone and bringing all the jams. I cannot believe how much I enjoyed this place! Cannot wait to return!!! Highly recommend EVERYTHING.
Crystal S — Google review
Our first visit to Morgan’s in the Desert didn't go as planned. Despite having reservations, we were seated outside in the heat and had to wait over 40 minutes for an indoor table. The watermelon salad took over an hour to arrive and was simply chopped watermelon with some salad sprinkled on top. Our fries sat under the heater for too long and were hard, while the seafood linguine had dried out under a lamp and contained only two shrimp and tiny scallops the size of peas. We waited over 1 hour for our food. However, Brian from Morgan’s made a huge difference. He invited us back for a second chance and ensured we had a much better experience. This time, we got good seating, and Brian treated us to the summer menu fixe, which included a delicious mozzarella and tomato salad, basil pasta, and a peach crumble ice cream dessert. The service was excellent thanks to Brian. I will definitely return because of him. Thank you, Brian, for offering us an amazing second experience!

Morgan’s is our go-to date night spot whenever we’re in Palm Desert — and for good reason. From the moment you arrive, everything from the setting to the service exudes understated luxury and charm. The ambiance is warm and inviting, the food is consistently exceptional, and the live music adds the perfect touch to an already unforgettable evening. What truly sets Morgan’s apart, though, is the team. From the manager to the bartender to the wait staff, every member of the crew operates with a rare level of professionalism and care. It’s a standard of excellence that’s hard to come by these days — and they’ve mastered it. We’ll continue coming back again and again. Morgan’s never disappoints

Food was amazing & so was the atmosphere. Prices for some of the items seemed a bit much but for the flavor was worth it. My waitress was not really around as much. Took a while to put in my order & took a really long time to take my payment.

Had a wonderful dinner here. The atmosphere outside was ideal. Our waitress was amazing (Marilynn) and she could not have been any sweeter. The cocktails were on point... Basil Me Down. Incredible martini! For food, we enjoyed the beet salad (fresh), the short ribs (so tender), the scallops (perfectly seared) and the lobster mac n cheese. Our dessert was an anniversary surprise. Very tart yet light. We will certainly return next year during our annual desert vacation.

Morgans in the Desert restaurant at La Quinta Resort is the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion in Palm Springs. From the moment we arrived, the service was top-notch, and we were seated promptly since we had a reservation. I couldn't resist ordering the braised short ribs, which were melt-in-your-mouth delicious. My friends were equally impressed with their steak, sea bass, and pork chops. We also shared some sides & appetizers. The staff went above and beyond to make our birthday celebration memorable, even bringing out two desserts for the birthday person to share with the table. The ambiance was simply stunning - we chose to sit outdoors and enjoyed the warm desert breeze and the beautiful palm trees, which made for a picturesque backdrop. I highly recommend Morgans in the Desert for anyone looking for an great dining experience in Palm Springs.

Excellent. Service was amazing, food was delicious and thoughtful, and the ambiance was perfect. Definitely worth it. *Edit* We visited again and they continue to impress. Seared seabass with glazed lentils was delicious, and chef has continued to refine the braised short ribs. The new take on the Coachella Citrus is just as vibrant as the original I had before with far more subtlety. The ambiance and grounds are immaculate as always. Kudos to you La Quinta, you guys never disappoint.

Located at The Gardens on El Paseo, this steakhouse offers live music on Fridays and Saturdays, creating a vibrant atmosphere. With stylish jazz rhythms and entertainment options nearby, Sullivan's provides not only delicious steaks and stiff drinks but also a lively experience.
Absolutely one of the Best Happy Hours in the Valley! Janessa at the front entrance is absolutely courteous and friendly. Greeted everyone that walked in with a huge smile. after seating us Jazzymyne and Daniella were so attentive stopping by to see if everything was ok, or if we needed anything. The food was Delicious. We recently teamed up with the Palm Desert Area Chamber for a fun mini putt putt golf event hosted at Sullivan’s Steakhouse — and the experience was top-tier! Amy and Mylisa went above and beyond to accommodate us and made sure everything ran smoothly. Their hospitality was unmatched, and the service was A1. Oh, and the food? Absolutely incredible! Every bite was unforgettable. Highly recommend Sullivan’s for any event or just a great night out.

We came for happy hour. First time here, Amy & David took care of us at the bar, they were so friendly, it was such a great experience. Had the blue cheese chips (I’m not even the biggest fan of blue cheese but oh my gosh these were amazing), and the cheesesteak egg rolls were incredible. I started with a classic lemon drop Martini which was delicious but their knockout Martini is definitely one to try as well!! My boyfriend got their smoked old fashioned which was so crafty and he thoroughly enjoyed it as well. They let us know about their current daily specials which will definitely be bringing us back for dinner. Thank you so much Amy & David! We look forward to coming back.

Had a wonderful dinner for our anniversary yesterday. This restaurant gives our date a nice ending at palm springs. We were thinking to eat at Eddie V's because I long for their crab cake so bad but something came up and my husband can only be in his shorts..lol and their dress code is very strict. We found this place nearby and offered crab cake so we want to give it a try. Great! They let us in but the crab cakes are a bit disappointing may be I expected too much. I understand that even if I eat it from that other restaurant, it may tastes different from last time too. But everything else we ordered here at Sullivan's is good. New York steak is delicious, their sea bass is the best sea bass I ever had. They also have some 'asian fusion' options on the menu that we ordered including the hongkong style sea bass (which they have some bakchoi underneath the seabass with thickened salted soy sauce) and shanghai Calamari flavored with sweet & sour pickled peppers. We should have tried their crab fried rice instead of crab cake because each restaurant has their own unique signature dishes. Anyways, back to LA now and I still miss that sea bass.

My wife and I went out for a celebratory dinner occasion and our server Jackie at Sullivan’s off El Paseo was impeccable! Amazing customer service and she made the entire night smooth and enjoyable. We loved her energy and suggestions for cocktails and dishes. Keep up the great work Jackie, we will be back soon! :)

Great atmosphere. Ordered a ribeye steak and it was very taugh, reordered a different type of steak and it was better. My husband had no complaints about his lamb chops. I personally will not eat here again but overall their service was good. We were suppose to go to Mortons this day but I chose to eat here, wish I never did that.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sullivan’s Steakhouse, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish—thanks in no small part to our server, Jackie. From the moment we were seated, Jackie made us feel welcome and well cared for. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive—she offered spot-on recommendations and made sure every detail of our meal was perfect. What really stood out, though, was Jackie’s attentiveness. She struck the perfect balance between being friendly and professional, checking in just enough without ever feeling intrusive. Her timing was impeccable, and she genuinely seemed to care that we were having a great night. Dining at Sullivan’s was already a treat, but Jackie’s service elevated it to a memorable experience. If you're planning a visit, I highly recommend asking for her section—you won’t be disappointed.

First the place was an okay atmosphere, the bar was nice. Bartender made good drinks but had zero personality. We ordered a business lunch with the Delmonico steak and garlic mashed potatoes. When the plates arrived we were both stunned. It was a flat, 1/2” piece of meat, kind of what you would see for a chicken fried steak without the breading. My husband looked at it and pushed it away. I tried to eat it but all I could taste was fat. The mashed potatoes were so watery I couldn’t keep them on my fork. We asked for the manager and she came over. Her name was Tara. She told us that was what a Delmonico steak was, thin and fatty. She couldn’t take the criticism, got defensive and walked away. Like she has never had a complaint before. Maybe if you order a regular steak this place would be good but there are better options in the area. Better service, atmosphere and food.

Mikado Japanese Steakhouse, nestled within the luxurious JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa, is a culinary gem that promises an unforgettable dining experience. This upscale eatery combines the art of sushi with the excitement of teppanyaki cooking, where skilled chefs dazzle guests with their knife-twirling skills while preparing delicious meals right before your eyes. The ambiance is perfect for special occasions or a romantic date night, enhanced by exotic cocktails that complement the vibrant flavors on offer.
One of my first Teppanyaki experiences and it was awesome! The service is really what makes this an amazing experience. The chefs are super entertaining and skillful. I wouldn’t say that the food is exceptional but the service really enhances it!
Akash B — Google review
I recently had the opportunity to dine at Mikado Japanese Steakhouse, and my experience was a mixed bag. While the service was top-notch, the food was average and overpriced, and the restaurant's policies left a lot to be desired. The Food: Unfortunately, the food at Mikado Japanese Steakhouse was a letdown. The miso soup was overly salty, and the salad was saggy and unappetizing. The ginger dressing was watery and lacked flavor. My wife's scallops were met with indifference, and her exact words were "it wasn't bad, but it wasn't good." This lackluster food was made even more disappointing by the high prices. The Prices: Speaking of prices, Mikado Japanese Steakhouse seems to nickel and dime its customers for every little thing. Want fried rice? That'll be an extra $6 for a small bowl. This feels like a unnecessary add-on, and I would have preferred it if the restaurant had simply built the cost of the rice into the price of the meal. Alternatively, they could have provided a more generous portion size to justify the extra cost. The Menu: One of the biggest issues I had with Mikado Japanese Steakhouse was the lack of detail on the menu. I ordered the vegetable option, but I was not expecting tofu to be included. Unfortunately, this meant that I lost half of my portion size when the food arrived, as I don't eat soy. I would have appreciated it if the menu had provided more information about what was included in each dish. The Service: Despite the issues with the food and menu, the service at Mikado Japanese Steakhouse was exceptional. Our server was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, and did a great job of making sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. The Verdict: Overall, my experience at Mikado Japanese Steakhouse was a mixed bag. While the service was top-notch, the food was average and overpriced, and the restaurant's policies left a lot to be desired. With a little more attention to detail and a more generous approach to portion sizes, this restaurant could be a real winner. As it stands, I would caution potential diners to be aware of the extra costs and to carefully review the menu before ordering. Rating Breakdown: Food: 2/5 Service: 5/5 Value: 2/5 Menu: 2/5 Overall Experience: 3/5 Recommendation: If you're looking for a Japanese steakhouse experience, I would recommend exploring other options in the area. While Mikado Japanese Steakhouse has some potential, the high prices and lackluster food make it a less desirable choice. However, if you do decide to dine here, be sure to carefully review the menu and ask questions about what's included in each dish.

Mikado is a fantastic restaurant and a first class dining experience! Our team was greeted by the head chef who actually serenaded the whole table to Stevie Wonder’s “ I Just Called To Say I Love You”. Although the entrees are all $50 plus, you do get your moneys worth. All of the entrees come with soup or sales, a shrimp appetizer and some of the best seafood and or steak that you can get. The food was awesome, the chef spectacular and we all had a great time. I had a scallop and lobster combination that was mind blowing. The food was fresh with perfect seasoning. Everyone enjoyed their meal and there were plenty of to go boxes at the end of our experience. If you want an awesome dining experience then Mikado is for you.

Mikado at the JW Marriott Desert Springs is a solid 10 out of 10 when it comes to food. Every dish we had was delicious, well-made, and cooked to absolute perfection. You can really taste the quality and care that goes into every bite. The chefs were not only skilled, but also super fun and engaging. Their energy brought the whole meal to life—especially for the kids, who had an absolute blast. The live cooking experience makes it more than just dinner—it’s a show, and a good one! Yes, it’s slightly pricey—but honestly, the food and experience make it worth every penny. It’s not just a meal, it’s a memorable evening. Highly recommend for families, date nights, or anyone who wants great food with a side of entertainment!

Because we didn't have reservations, we sat at the bar on the sushi side. The food was fantastic. However, our server, Sherwin, was the highlight. He was not like any other bartender we've ever had. He knocked it so far out of the park with hospitality. He was attentive, his suggestions were spot on, and he was overall very enjoyable to be around. After dinner we went outside and enjoyed sitting under a magnificent plumeria tree by the waterfalls. I can't say enough about how good our entire experience was.

If you want to entertain children this is a good place for Teppan cooking, but it is quite noisy. We had to wait a long time for a chef to cook at our group table. The service was slow. Jillian's is a sophisticated and romantic restaurant located in Palm Desert, offering an upscale dining experience with European cuisine paired with fine wines. The elegant hacienda-style setting features a charming courtyard and live music, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for guests. The menu showcases elevated Italian dishes including house-made pastas, prime meats, and seafood, complemented by an extensive wine selection. While the ambiance and cuisine are typically exceptional, some diners have noted occasional service issues during busy times.
We had a great experience dining here. The food was excellent — the meatball appetizer, pasta Bolognese, and rack of lamb were all outstanding. The ambiance was beautiful with amazing views, and service was attentive throughout. We were celebrating a birthday, and the “Happy Birthday” message on the table when we arrived was a really thoughtful touch. However, dessert was just okay, and there was no birthday recognition when it was served, it felt like a missed moment that could’ve made the evening even more special. Would come back.

I finally realized what I’ve been missing over the past 31 years. Insert any adjective for excellent and Jillian’s will achieve. The food, service, vibes, and diversity of ambiance is just perfect. There’s a few fine dining places that people will compare Jillian’s to like Cuisot, Lavender, or Le Vallerius but I think this is far better. The experience is second to none and they have a variety of rooms and out seating that came make it feel intimate for any occasion. All the food was executed perfectly and the timing of service was just about right. Yes, you will leave with $100+/person but it’s worth it for a special moment. Of fact, you may see me there again at the bar.

Disappointing. The signature fish dish can’t compete. Desert ice cream served in its melted puddle. Seated right next to the incredibly busy service door, but our wait staff didn’t use it and dropped us. Not a fan of the live music either.

Lettuce was not too fresh, limp, salad seasoning was bad, Lobster was a little chewy, Halibut was great , cream Brûlée was normal.

We had an exceptionally good meal and experience at Jillian’s tonight. Every staff person was welcoming and professional. The ambiance was just right with lovely piano music. Our food was beautifully prepared and delicious: white fish and bolonese. Even the chairs were extra comfortable! Highly recommended!

This was my wife’s birthday dinner with friends. Ordered the shaved Brussels sprouts salad and it was dry, hardly any dressing. Then I ordered the swordfish entree. The fish was dry and overcooked. The manager stopped by the table and asked how everything was so I explained the problem with fish and he said nothing, then walked away. My friend ordered the grandmas chicken which was very heavy cheese with little or no flavor. We also pointed this out to the manager and again no response. With so many places to eat in this area….we probably won’t be back

Great restaurant, great food, the place, the decor is just so nice, the staff is extremely professional and friendly, last but not least the owners June & Jay are just fantastic people and always around to make sure you’re happy. Italian restaurant
Backstreet Bistro is a delightful casual café and jazz venue that captures the essence of Tuscan-inspired dining. With its inviting atmosphere, this charming spot offers a menu filled with light bites and classic Italian dishes like caprese salad and pasta. Guests can enjoy their meals in a cozy indoor setting or take advantage of the sliding door that opens to an enchanting courtyard, perfect for soaking in views of the San Jacinto Mountains.
The crab cake appetizer was the best crab cake I've ever had - and I live a stone's throw from Maryland! The spaghetti and meatball portion was huge and yummy. We also got the seafood pasta. The sauce was amazing and the seafood tasted fresh and delicious. Angela's service along with that of the rest of the staff was top notch. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Nice outdoor seating, music was a bit odd but the place was very beautiful. Prices are very high, food was decent. Not really worth the high price in my opinion. Wife said her chicken was very dry. I ordered the lasagna dish from the dinner menu, it was a solid 8.5/10. The sauce was a little sweet for my liking but other than that, it was a great dish. Waiter was very friendly.

The Bistro had an outside party so seating inside was the only option .A little stuffy and tight. Our perimeter table was isolated on two sides. The Bistro was packed @600 PM ir made a difference. You must try the crab cakes! They are amazing not too much filler;great sauce to complement. Wife loves the Bruschetta. She could have eaten another sand dab one was small . Service was good but Friday night packed with a private party they held up pretty well .

We have just returned from our first meal at Backstreet Bistro. Fantastic. We booked ahead via Open Table and a good job we did as all inside tables were taken whilst we were there. Very helpful and personable waitress who brought lovely bread & butter / oil & balsamic to our table with a small bowl of freshly cut Permesan. Excellent menu. Plenty of choices for all tastes. We had the Bruscheta and Calamari to start, followed by Chicken Piccata and Seafood Linguine with white butter sauce. All the food exceeded our expectations and we will certainly return when we next visit Palm Desert from the U.K.

We sat outside and had great food and service. My husband and I split the beet salad and the sand dabs and both were delicious. I’d eat the same thing again. They brought fresh, warm bread with the salad and it was very good. Highly recommend.

First lunch meal about a month ago: party of 4, we all had a great lunch meal! Super service! Second Service, Dinner, 4 different people. Very poor service, food awful. Third service, 3 weeks later, to give it one last try today for lunch. Table for four, lunch. This time I took photos. I made a reservation for 4 for 11:30 a.m. only to find website, yelp, Google maps all said they open at 12. I made an emergency call at 11:30 from the parking lot, with no one in site except my guests, and I was assured 11:30 was ok. I ushered my guests in for an early Mother's Day Lunch. Pleasant service people. We finally found a table we liked (sorry staff). One diner had a Club House Sandwich with regular fries, she was happy. One diner got a measly 1/2 Sandwich with half salad, seemed fine. One diner (me) ordered a Club House Sandwich with Sweet Potato Fries. Halt! Fries were way overcooked. But Sandwich good! Last but not least Diner #4, a pizza aficionado, ordered the Pizza Margerita. When it arrived we all stared at in shock! Soggy, uncooked cheese pizza (still see the grated unmelted cheese), on top of which were four raw tomatoes with cheese blobbed on top. He cut apart the pizza and all the raw water and uncooked cheese and dough pooled into liquid disgungtinness (a word?). He didn't want to cause a scene so he managed to swallow down parts of two pieces. I told him that was hands down the worst pizza I'd ever seen and never would have eaten it, as did agree the 3 other diners chime in. So we gave Backstreet Bistro more that a fare shot. We will not be returning. I'm also not sure I would call it an Italian restaurant, most food was Americanized. Bye bye, sorry.

I loved this place! The food is authentic Italian, tasted like my mom's cooking and small and cozy inside. Great place for lunch or dinner on the patio.

Absolutely wonderful place. Excellent service and excellent food. I love their shrimp and chicken pasta. They have wonderful salads, appetizers and desserts. It’s amazing here. When you walk in, you smell delicious food; you feel warm and cozy. It’s a very clean restaurant and they serve your food just like you want it. Their lemon drop raspberry cocktail is extraordinary! Delicious. Everyone is very caring, friendly and kind in this restaurant. Jasmine, our terrific waitress, was exceptionally fabulous in her service to us. She worked quickly to make us feel happy we walked into this restaurant. She was very attentive to our needs. Food comes to your table hot and perfectly prepared. I will be going back here many times now. You could not ask for a more delightful place. There are ample handicapped parking spaces and regular parking spaces in a huge outside parking lot. This is a must-see and visit place; you will be thrilled to eat here.

We had a fantastic dinner here! I ordered the Filet Mignon with grilled lobster tail — the steak was perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and the lobster was delicious. Service was very friendly and attentive. My wife and kids tried different dishes and enjoyed them just as much. Not the cheapest place, but absolutely worth it and definitely a spot we’d return to!

I haven't been here in years, they have remodeled since my last visit and there seems to be more tables. Ok...our server was EXCELLENT, the service was amazing. The dinner was delicious, I loved the wedge salad. I came early in Valentine's day so there was no waiting. I will be back here again for the salad.

You know this place used to be a really big deal when it came out. It was a sort of inexpensive steak dinner with lots of sides in a dimly lit restaurant that you can pass off is fancy to the kids…. The food was good. The service was great and the menu was huge. It’s changed. Like everything else I feel this restaurant with tension over keeping clients coming and keeping prices is low…. I think unfortunately to serve the same kind of food in the same kind of setting as they did 15 years ago, the prices would have to be so high that they would lose the clientele— it’s fallen into this catch 22 were they resorted to coffee shop style waiters, and waitresses, small portions of mediocre food and expensive drink— it caters to a middle to lower middle class clientele who fortunately for Outback doesn’t have to be that picky about their food. They still serve a terrific blooming onion and I’d have to admit that the baby back ribs were damn good— and they were actually baby backs!! Despite a seemingly bad review I will surely be back for these two items.. The salads are OK. The chicken fingers are plentiful and they’re pretty damn good. I can’t recommend the steaks or any of that because it’s simply not the quality that you want. I guess it’s a different kind of restaurant today and I’m having a trouble getting my arms around that but I do understand the struggle that this category faces. It’s not yet sizzler, but it’s damn close. I do wonder what happens to this category of restaurants and restaurants like it— Red Lobster, Olive Garden, Longhorn and the rest of the Darden Restaurants which all seem to be suffering with either mismanagement or inferior food. These restaurants were the backbone you might say of the modern middle class and I hate to see them go up and smoke leaving families to basically fast food. Hopefully they’ll be an economic shift that brings more cash to the middle class, allowing these chains to raise their prices without losing clients.

I LOVED the short ribs, Pasta, but the meat chunks were absurdly large. It's not an issue. I was just thrown off by the size, lol. The texture was absolutely right. I highly recommend the carne asada pizza as it was flavorful and fun!

Food was pretty amazing. I had the half Thai crunch salad that comes with wanton noodles, cabbage and chicken with a nice light lime cilantro sauce. Also had the wild mushroom pizza which was grilled to perfection. Order it with the light crust only for a nice crispy and cheesy experience.

This place is hit and miss on the pace of service but the food is consistent with flavor and taste. They have a fairly good variety of both food and drinks. They offer both bar seating with TVs and dinning room which also has 1-2 TVs as well. The bathrooms consistently seem like they need to be cleaned and are quite small. It's a nice location on El Paseo and walkable to many stores.

We were excited to have lunch here again & it’s been a while since the last time. Craving for the Spinach & Artichoke Dip which I immediately ordered to start off our meal. Our server was great, very nice & was prompt in serving us but very disappointed with the dip & chips that led us here that day to begin with. Chips were not as much as they used to serve them. Worse, they weren’t even whole & were mostly in bits & pieces underneath the bigger broken ones on top. Literally having your fingers go into the dip just to get it partially covered. We sat near the window & the glass was smudged with something oily or greasy. I’m not sure what it was, I didn’t bother finding out. I couldn’t see it from where I was seated but my wife saw it from an angle across me. A closer look showed it was on the interior surface of the glass & not outside. Glad I didn’t sit close enough to it. To CPK, this is not to tear you down but to let you know that you’re slipping. Just do as you do always, if not better. But certainly not worse. We have reasons to comeback again & again & our kids enjoys what you serve but please don’t justify why we should no longer do. Don’t serve your paying customers what looked like was a left over or bottom part of the last bag of chips you had.

I'm so disappointed our chicken tequila fettuccine was cold and not cooked all the way. It was dry and barely had any chicken. I also requested butter for my bread the hostess said it was inside my bag when I got home it wasn't there. I do not recommend.

Red Lobster is a vibrant chain of seafood restaurants that captures the essence of American coastal dining, all while embracing a charming New England-inspired decor. Known for its classic seafood offerings, this popular eatery serves up favorites like crab cakes, lobster, and shrimp cocktail. A visit to Red Lobster promises an enjoyable experience with friendly service and delicious food. Diners often rave about their signature Cheddar Bay biscuits as a delightful starter.
Had a wonderful and delicious lunch here. Great food and a fantastic waitress named Sheila. She was very kind, fun, personable and gave us incredible attention and service. The shrimp Alfredo was absolutely amazing and cooked to perfection. Their cocktails were delightful and well-made. Their steak was also amazing. I especially loved the broccoli and the flatbread. Of course, their cheddar rolls are number one! If you love seafood, this is the place to go, bar none. Ask for Sheila for outstanding service. Also, the restaurant is very clean and well tended. Comfortable chairs and booths. Very pleasing to the eyes and you feel very comfortable here. The bathrooms are exceptionally clean. This is a great place to eat but come hungry; you get a great deal of food in this terrific restaurant!

Average experience, average food. Ordered the New Orleans Salmon, came with Cajun sauced salmon with shrimp, ordered the loaded baked potato and broccoli. Broccoli was pretty good, it was seasoned, the baked potato tasted like it was microwaved, not fluffy at all. But the salmon was just ok. The taste was good but it was overcooked. Rating is 6.7/10. Paid $32 + $2.50 for the loose potato. The food took so long to come out. The waiter disappeared for a while, I think the food was under heat lamp for a while. Bad experience. The location was clean, ambiance is nice, not too loud, good family location.

The service was outstanding. I had ordered a medium rare steak with my meal. The waitress brought the plate out and immediately informed that it may have been overcooked and that they will be bringing out another one perfectly cooked. They did so and everything was fantastic the cheesecake at the end was the perfect ending. 5 out of 5 food and service

Had such a great dinner with my folks for Date Night. Service was amazing. Such wonderful staff. From the moment we walked in we were greeted and sat promptly. I know this place gets busy during the weekends but on this day, Saturday it wasn't bad. The food was so good, hot when brought out and presentable. Our server was so nice, checking on us just the right amount of times and not excessively. My parents each had the Ultimate Feast plates and I had the surf n turf. Some might say pricey at $50 a Feast but you get to 2 main entrees, 2 side entrees and 2 sides. More food than they could finish but I wanted them to experience a little of everything. Our steaks were cooked just as we asked. We also ordered the mango berry sangria which was delicious. Recommend that with your meal. The atmosphere was that of a quiet setting and soft lighting so we could have a quiet evening and talk. Thank you for such a pleasant experience. We will be back and will definitely recommend to our family and friends.

As always a solid time here. Though the menu does change on occasion, many of the favorite classics remain which we can't get enough of. New seasonal drinks as well make me excited to try them all, however for now I can highly recommend the Gold Rush. Plenty of warm biscuits sent home with us with the few leftovers that make it home. If we weren't so excited to have appetizers, soup and a meal, we would have had some dessert. Happy to return again and again!

Olive Garden in Palm Desert is a big hit with the kids! There’s usually a wait, so it’s best to get there early. If you like my review pls click on the ❤️ and show some love 😽. My rating has nothing to do with the food. The food was great, looks great, tastes great. My rating is meant for the service.🤬😡😠😤 I come here often, I have noticed they keep hiring young people. I hope the manager reads this... I don't like being next to flirtatious teens while I wait for my food, I don't like these young teens attitude when I ask for extra cheese or extra bread sticks.. 😡🤬😤 I recommend not ordering from here. I rather eat inside. These kids DO NOT ACT PROFESSIONAL.

I love this Olive Garden as it has a familial vibe and plenty of seating. It's a cozy location to enjoy a plate of Italian cuisine! The pasta (fettuccine alfredo/rigatoni w/ marinara), salad, and bread sticks were super tasty. We were seated immediately upon arrival and never felt rushed. I will return to this restaurant in a heartbeat. It's much better than some other locations in the IE. It's also not too far from the shopping hub here in town!

First time here, our waiter Alex gave us top notch customer service. He was patient, non- judgemental about our "pickiness" because we are aware about it. :) He gave us the best recommendation for our order to enjoy the best of what we were ordering. He was the perfect level of attentive but not overbearing. A really important thing nowadays :) Food: we requested a small mix short of a.full course meal just not dessert. Minestrone soup was good but our praises went to the gnocchi and chicken soup. House salad had a pretty good balance. Toasted ravioli was.just on point, perfect toast, no hint of burn and flavorful without overwhelming. Funny enough the main course was okay since it were classics with our favorite being the classic Alfredo. Also pretty good deal, we expected a bigger bill than what we got.

I have gone to many olive gardens in my lifetime, I had stopped going to them because of food quality and customer service! This place did not seem like an olive garden..... this place was beautiful as you walk in.... get greeted by your waiter/waitress and they introduce themselves at your table. Our waitress was super attentive... met our food needs and special requests! The place was clean looked bright in the areas it had too, but private in dining areas! I wish other olive gardens used this one as an example for the rest of their chain restaurants! We usually go to locally owned to get great service, but this one exceeded my every expectation for our restaurant experience in a while! And we eat out a lot 😁

We ended up visiting this restaurant unexpectedly, thanks to the credit provided by the golf course, and it turned out to be a great experience. My wife and I ordered the Barbacoa Street Tacos, Spanish Shrimp, and Italian Sausage Flatbread. The food was delicious overall, but the Spanish Shrimp was the standout. Its sauce tasted like a buttery curry, and it was absolutely amazing. I highly recommend it! The other dishes were also flavorful and well-prepared. The service was excellent, with friendly staff who made the experience even more enjoyable. If you’re visiting the golf course, this is a great spot to relax and enjoy a fantastic meal!

As a new member to the community, my partner, and I were looking for a place to enjoy a nice meal. Luckily, we stumbled upon this place. We ended up having some appetizers with a nice bottle of champagne and boy did they deliver. The food was both delicious and beautiful. The champagne was refreshing and crisp. We’ll definitely have to come back try some more bites. Overall, I would say the road leading up to Bellatrix was beautifully maintained and laid out. Parking is plentiful, and as an added bonus, they also have community event events. More importantly, if you’re reading this, remember to make it a great day. That choice is always yours!

We had a ladies lunch at Bellatrix and it was lovely. Beautiful atmosphere, our server Mikayla was very attentive and pleasant and the food was great. Two of us had the club sandwich, one had shrimp tacos and the other the poke salad. The poke salad was not good. It tasted fishy so it was sent back with no problems and they brought the blackened mahi sandwich. It was delicious and the garlic fries were tasty. I can’t believe this place wasn’t busier. Their upper parking lot was being resurfaced so we had to park in the lower parking lot. But they called ahead to tell us about it. There was a golf cart shuttle waiting to take us up to the door. And the hostess called him when we were done to pick us up. I will definitely go back. Maybe for happy hour as the bar was beautiful.

My dinner guests brought their 8 lbs service dog in an enclosed stroller. For no good reason a huge push back ensued from the manager who was very rude about this. For instance he told us four times " the dog cannot eat!" No kidding. Although considering the place was literally empty at 6 pm when we left, they could use the biz. Adding insult to injury, my meal was terrible. Hard pass.

Been here a couple times now, love it! The place has been absolutely packed with customers each time, and that is well deserved. The vibe is pretty different from anything else I'm familiar with in the desert, a casual, comfortable German style eatery. We've sampled the goulash, weinerschnitzel, pretzels, cabbage rolls, soups, etc. Really everything has been delicious. I'm a vegetarian and they have great filling options for me to go along with the excellent meats. The vegetarian and vegan schnitzel are both excellent. If you want a ton of good comfort food in a casual and comfortable atmosphere, this is a spot for you.

First timer (and we will definitely be coming back). We were looking for place to eat and stumbled onto this place. Staff were very friendly and the food was amazing. Beer was typical German brews. Can’t wait come back after they expand.

We were in town to pick up some vintage China we bought from some really nice sellers and decided to try a cuisine our daughter has never tried. She loved the food and the atmosphere at this restaurant, which stayed open rather late on a weeknight. The best thing we ate? The sausages dipped in their amazing mustard! My Jagerschnitzel did not disappoint. I swear that mushroom gravy they douse it with will make shoe leather taste amazing! The hubby ordered the stuffed cabbage and wasn't wowed by it. My pasta-loving daughter ordered the Alps Kasspatzen and loved it. We ordered the baklava to share and wished we didn't. It was cloyingly sweet and soggy. It was a fun adventure, but one we most likely will not repeat.

very good food here, the paprika schnitzel or they call it gypsy schnitzel was amazing, as well as the jager schnitzel. only complaint would be the super bright light above the bar it needs to be changed out for something softer, it was pretty obnoxiously bright and I promise no one wants to sit at a bar with a flashlight in their face. other than that it was awesome and It’s great they have german beer too.

What a fun and yummy place for unique food. And the beers and cocktails are just as good. Be sure to try the big pretzel (crazy good), homemade stuffed cabbage rolls, signature burger (yes it is delicious) and the spaetzle! We love this place.
Maree D — Google review
What an amazing spot. Not fancy but great atmosphere. The service was so awesome...any weird requests we made were greeted with a smile and a "happy to do it". The cucumber salad was so flavorful and fresh tasting. The beet salad was huge and so yummy, generous amounts of feta and beets and walnuts. We totally changed the sides and sauces with our schnitzel orders with no problem or eye rolling. The schnitzels we got aren't the platter size ones you sometimes get, but so flavorful and the lemon caper sauce, the mushroom sauce and the cranberry sauce were all great additions to the pork schnitzel we ordered. If you are confused about "ripped" potatoes on the menu... don't think...just get them! Wanted to add to my review ..the kraut was more like cooked cabbage...not as vinegary as we expected...also the onion rings at the next table looked amazing!

Le Paon Restaurant offers a fine dining experience with a touch of old-world charm and elegance. Located above El Paseo, this chic French restaurant boasts an extensive wine list and exquisite contemporary French cuisine, including escargot and vichyssoise. The beautiful dining room is adorned with a stunning French crystal chandelier, complemented by black-tie service and live piano music on some nights.
5 Star evening as always Excellent service and ambience. Venison, Steak Diane, Escargot and French Onion soup, Bordeaux wine and Gran Marnier - Chocolate Souffle. Great wine selection and full service bar. Thank you Antoine, Eddie and entire staff.

The restaurant seemed to be severely understaffed. We never want to be rushed when dining out but in this case we had trouble finding anyone for almost anything. The host with the mustache was amazing. Once seated by him, we waited about 15 minutes for a wine list and any cocktails that might be special to the restaurant. We were told there were no cocktails. A few tables away they were holding a cocktail list and we we inquired, the server said she’d check. Another server finally brought the list. The bottle of French wine showed up as a completely different vintage with an explanation that they were out of what was listed. The server said she’d work something out on the price and then started to open a younger bottle. She slipped the cork in her pocket and when asked if we could check the cork, she rummaged through a pocket full of corks until she found ours (we think). She then preceded to pull the cork through the foil instead of removing the foil. When this left jagged edges she kept picking at the top of the bottle pulling little pieces off until she could pour. Not a pretty sight. No one ever returned to offer to refill a glass. Hoping dinner would be better we had a ceasar salad mixed table side using vinegar and oil dressing that was so heavy on the vinegar we had trouble eating it. Absolutely no anchovy flavor at all. My wife’s entree’ had scorched potatoes to the point you could see the black and a steak that was dry as a bone. My duck La’ orange was very tasty but the sides were undercooked and mushy. Desert was actually delicious, then it came time to find someone for a bill. The table to our left and the table to our right were also trying to find a person for a bill. 30 minutes later, on the verge of walking up to the host asking for a bill, it arrived. I was fully prepared to spend the $508 on dinner for two but was unprepared for the lack of service and mediocre food. It will be a long time before we return. There are too many better choices in the valley.

An extremely fine French-style food and ambiance. The duck is the best I have had anywhere, and the Dover sole and many other dishes are excellent. Table-side preparation of superb desserts like crepes Suzettes and bananas Foster is also offered. Terrific souffles too. Friendly experienced owners. Valet parking available behind restaurant with elevator to restaurant on upper level.

Beautiful spot, great service, food was very terrible. Onion Soup was mediocre at best, my sister's soft shells were terrible, Cesar salad very average with no distinctive tastes, carpaccio at a French spot again very mediocre. Wines are very over priced. Waste of money despite a nice staff

Food mediocre. Pate was good. Escargot poor. Soups good. Main beef cooked well. Souffle good but anglaise not done correctly. Overall fair. Don't go if you want elevated French. Service outstanding. Pricey $$$$$ for the quality of food.

Amazing sushi spot! Family owned and operated. Been going here for over 15 years. Menu has shifted a bit over the years, but always delicious. Great quality, and wonderful value. Clean, minimalist decor and atmosphere that elevates the experience. Lovely wrap around sushi bar where you can watch the sushi chefs do their work. Great servers, and service. Kitchen menu is tasty and well portioned. Highly recommend the salmon nigiri, yellowtail nigiri, musashi roll, desert roll, and caterpillar. Smelt egg roll is great as well. Love the chicken teriyaki (miss the beef teriyaki)! Plenty of parking in the free lot. Restaurant can be busy but usually work through the line pretty quickly. Owner is usually there, and always make a point to stop, check in, and ensure you have an amazing experience. She makes you part of her family!

You definitely don't get an equal bang for your buck. If you order sushi service is fairly quick but anything other, IE tempura, you will have a decently long wait. I posted an updated menu, since most have outdated prices.

We walked in and were quickly greeted by a warm friendly hostess who instantly sat us and asked if we’d been in before (we haven’t). She explained the portions— (huge vs ultra huge) and even verified with a sample to make sure we “knew”. We went with Alfredo and Carbonare- and imagine our surprise when the FOUNDER Chef Mario himself- came over and greeted us and shared he had founded this particular location 52 years ago!! Such a great atmospheric place with warmth and deliciousness!

Our family’s new favorite! We absolutely love this place. When you walk into the ristorante, it feels like you are walking into bella Italia. The food was fresh, flavorful and well presented. I enjoyed a cup of minestrone, some sourdough cheese bread with marinara. Then I had the Shrimp Diavolo with linguini, it was tasty, spicy and the shrimp was lightly buttery but just right, mmmm. The wife had a salad, some sourdough cheese bread and Veal Parmigiano on fetichini with a glass of burgundy. The dish was really good. We finished everything off with a lemon swirl cheesecake. The service was excellent, and we were well attended to our needs. I really look forward to going back here in the near future.

GREAT SERVICE & NICE BALCONY DINING Service was impeccable! -- Thank you Parker & Stephanie! Our first time here. Walking in, we were a bit unsure where to go to get a table--although there were signs pointing back toward a Host Table, it was located at the rear of the location, not in the entry. Seemed a bit odd but still well marked. We were greeted immediately and professionally and seated ASAP. Our table server Parker was on it! He introduced trainee Stephanie to us and we were soon treated to our dirty martini with handmade bleu cheese stuffed olives, and their house favorite--Spicy Margarita. The margarita is their bestseller and easy to understand why it's everyone's favorite. For starter, we order the "Risen Dough" appetizer. Crusty and warm with a great tapenade (or butter). Delicious! For lunch we split the Short Rib RD RNNR Tacos. Dang good! It had an aioli sauce with a little heat, shredded cabbage and my favorite pickled onions. The sauces were incredible. Since we ate lightly, we decided to try out their dessert. Although not made in-house, they are locally sourced from a local La Quinta bakery. We had the coconut cream pie and the carrot cake. Both were fantastic. The balcony was the second best thing about this place we loved. Outside and down the next level, they were setting up for a weekend festival in the courtyard. Fun to people watch and it was the perfect entertainment to go with lunch. This place is great. I highly recommend it to anyone.

I’ve been coming to Road Runner Spirits and Libations in Old Town La Quinta for about a year, and when I first started, the food was exceptional — creative, flavorful, and consistently well-prepared. It quickly became one of my favorite spots to bring friends, colleagues, and guests. Unfortunately, over the past few months, the food quality has taken a noticeable dip. A recent low point: I ordered the filet, and the whole table joked it looked more like braised beef. Which ok not every time is gonna be perfect but then most recently we ordered the filet again and it came out looking like a New York strip. So we sent it back and sent us what looked like an under cooked filet (asked for (medium) That pretty much sums up the inconsistency coming from the kitchen lately. Unfortunately the executive chief wasn’t there on a Saturday night to hear my feedback. What keeps me coming back — and what makes this place still worth a visit — is the outstanding service. The bartenders and servers are next-level. Brooke, the bar manager, is an absolute All-Star — warm, professional, and on top of everything. Mercedes behind the bar is also fantastic. Honestly, the entire front-of-house team deserves serious recognition. I work in the service industry hosting golf events in the valley so I pay close attention to both the guest experience and quality. I’ve recommended Road Runner to many of my guests — and while I’ll still send them for the drinks and the vibe, I’ll now have to give a heads-up about the recent drop in food consistency. Here’s hoping the kitchen gets back to the level this amazing team deserves. The bones of a great spot are still here — they just need to tighten up the food again.

Perfect first-time experience! Our waitress Madison was EXTREMELY friendly and tentative to our needs. Fun bar atmosphere with lots of big screens and indoor and outdoor seating. I ordered a margarita to start, and it was perfect! Had a good spicy finish and also a hint of coconut at the end. I also ordered fish tacos that were super crunchy and delicious. The sauce with the pickel onions had a nice sweet and refreshing taste that was exceptional. They come with three smaller size tacos but they are filling! I added avocado to them, and it was perfect. The warden ordered a beet salad...😒🥗 She really enjoyed dressing and the Gorgonzola mix that went well with the sweet walnuts. Our three year old son loved the kids' cheese pizza he ate the entire thing! Great atmosphere for the whole family.

If you're seeking consistently great service and consistently delicious meals THIS IS YOUR CUE...hit up RDRNNR for dinner. With a dedicated fryer and gluten free buns, plus staff with actual knowledge of gluten free living it means my child can go out and eat like a typical kid. Plus, the cocktails and views are stunning. Truly the most beautiful view and photo opps in La Quinta. Now that we live nearby, we are here 1-2 times a week. And any time someone comes to visit, friends, in-laws, etc...this is our place. At this point we've tried almost everything on the menu and I've never been disappointed. Daily they have deal specials and on the weekends they have meal specials that will blow your mind. If you're looking for a great dinner, try literally anything but an old faithful for me are the short ribs. They might be the best I've had in the 40 countries, Ive lived, traveled and worked in. Grateful to have this place nearby. Grateful for great service and for magnificent servers who've become like friends Desirae and Jerry. Thanks, RDRNNR for always helping us feel at home in our new city!

While waiting, I explored their mini grocery store, which is stocked with everything you need to create an amazing Italian dinner at home. Don’t forget to save room for dessert—I was lucky enough to grab the last pizza to go, and after heating it in the oven, it was absolutely delightful! We’re Dining with The Davids. We create video content about the best restaurants and small businesses in the Coachella Valley. We sat down with the owner and executive baker at The Real Italian Deli — with locations in both Palm Springs and Palm Desert — to learn about their favorite items on the menu. The first thing you should know is these guys are known for their bread. They bake over 15 varieties of bread daily, all starting with a mother starter flown in from Italy. That level of dedication shows in everything they do. We asked them what they’re most proud of — and here were the standouts: Top Sandwich Picks: • The Spicy Combo – Mortadella, spicy capicola, spicy Calabrese salami, provolone, lettuce, tomato, and balsamic glaze on a torpedo roll. • The Parma – Thinly sliced prosciutto, mozzarella, arugula, tomato, and EVOO on focaccia. (This one might be our personal favorite!) • Turkey Pesto – Roasted turkey, pesto mayo, provolone, lettuce, and tomato on ciabatta. They also offer a curated selection of Italian pantry goods, fresh and frozen pastas, and handmade lasagnas — including a vegetarian version made with spinach and white wine sauce. Save room for dessert. The raspberry tart is a must-try, followed closely by the cheesecake and their house-made tiramisu, which comes in classic, chocolate, and pistachio varieties. Cannoli lovers, don’t worry — they’ve got those too. A few insider tips: – Their pesto, sun-dried tomato spread, and olive tapenade are available to-go. – Ask about their house-made raw Italian sausage — it’s not on display, but it’s worth asking for. – Their fresh pasta sells out fast, so go early if that’s on your list.

This place is amazing! The best Italian sausage peppers and mozzarella sandwich I’ve ever had! The bread was crisp, and it was hollowed out making more room for the filling. Crispy and crunchy. This place is like tasting Italy in Your mouth in every bite. Great selection of pastries and breads and foods to go and Italian pastas and just about anything Italian you can think of is there. Can’t wait to go back for more. Craving another sandwich right about now. Adding this to my weekly circuit.

BEWARE!! Wow!! Due to recovery from surgery I was unable to stand and cook for small dinner party (4 people) so I bought small lasagna. Seemed over priced but I had heard such great things I felt it would be $$$ well spent. When I arrived home I read the cooking directions which stated bake from frozen @ 375° for 45 minutes (which did not seem like enough time from frozen). There was a cardboard top on the lasagna that I assumed I need to remove before baking (paper in oven is not a good mix), but the cardboard was impossible to remove. I called the deli to confirm baking time and if the cardboard should be stuck to top of lasagna. I was told that the 45 minute bake time was if defrosted (not what the instructions state) and that the cardboard should come off but it was okay to bake with it on if needed. Wwwweeeeelllll ...fast forward 1 hr and 30 minutes of baking time and the cardboard was still stuck to the lasagna and removing it took of the top layer of cheese. The lasagna looked awful to serve to our guests. Thankfully they had a good sense of humor and insisted we all laugh our way through dinner!

I ordered from Buffalo Wild Wings and it was one of the worst food experiences I've had in a long time. The wings were ice cold and completely over-seasoned to the point of being inedible. The fries? They tasted stale, like they'd been sitting out for days. To make matters worse, I tried calling the location five times to get help, and every single time I was either ignored or hung up on. Zero accountability, zero customer service. This place is an absolute joke. Save your money and eat literally anywhere else.

We just had an amazing meal at Eddie V’s. Our server was Moises and he was attentive and fun! The food was delicious and plentiful. I had the Parmesan Sole, and my husband had the Sea Bass. Excellent! The Bananas Foster Butter Cake is a must try. The cocktails were perfectly made. The atmosphere was wonderful. Everyone was friendly. We are full time desert residents and will be going back on a regular basis!

If I could give 6 Stars, I would. We came for my wife's birthday celebration. I had asked when I made the reservation to be seated somewhere quiet. They seated us as far from the bar as possible keeping to the request. It was an excellent experience. Our waiter James was at the top of his game. The Crab Cake appetizer is a favorite for us at Eddie V's and it did not disappoint. Sea Bass and Lamb was our main courses. The lamb was cooked to perfection and very tender. The sea bass I could have eaten with a spoon. The crab fried rice complimented the sea bass. They topped off the Birthday celebration with a dessert sampling. I can't find a complaint or anything for them to work on improving.

This was our second visit to Eddie V's in Palm Desert and we had very similar experiences both times. The service is second to none. The first time James, and this time AJ, were both excellent as they were polite, attentive, and knowledgeable. The manager knew it was our anniversary and he came with some rose petals and candles to brighten up our table! The food was very good. I have had better Salmon and Sea Bass, but these were very good, as well. Oh, the bread is very good, too! The ambience is very nice and there is enough space between tables. I would dine here again, and would definitely recommend it.

Staff was amazing. Super helpful and very attentive to all of our needs. Jose the manager ( previously from Chicago area), was outstanding and a very BIG Thank You to You and all you did. The bar tenders were amazing Raul and Alfredo were the best! We will definitely return soon.

Had an amazing dinner at Eddie V’s! The steak was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The cocktails were delicious and really well made. Our server Keith was awesome — super friendly, attentive, and made great recommendations. He made the whole experience even better. Definitely one of the best spots in Palm Desert for a great meal and drinks. Ask for Keith when you go!

My husband and I have been celebrating our anniversary here since 2019. And we will continue to come here to celebrate! James was an absolute great server tonight. And Jose definitely made our anniversary extra special! Everyone here is amazing and the food is always excellent.

Very nice restaurant, had dinner with a group of 6 people and services were great. Very knowledgeable staff. They knew the menu and paired it with great choice of drinks. They serve this amazing fresh just out of the oven bread that can be addictive. I had a ribeye steak that was cooked perfectly. We also ordered some sides to share ofnwhich all were really good! Leave room for desert.

Modern French restaurant
If you're looking for a truly unique dining experience, French Rotisserie Cafe is definitely worth checking out. This bistro features a rotating selection of France's most popular dishes cooked in a traditional rotisserie oven imported from the country. The chef and her husband are passionate about bringing authentic French cuisine to Palm Desert, and they clearly have succeeded!
This is my new favorite dinner spot. Heather my waitress was very professional and courteous about the menu. No reservation walked right in and got seated right away. espresso martini was delicious. Beef stew entree was good. Build your own plate is the best bang for your buck and highly customizable. Free parking available.

The last time I had French onion soup this good was in Paris in 2016. It was dusky, heavy in a good way, savory with a tinge of sweetness. The French fries had some sort of layering, possibly an egg wash(?) that made them thickly crispy on the outside and smooth and fluffy inside. The Caesar salad was homemade and just garlicky enough. The salad was neither over or underdressed and the Romaine was fresh, fresh, fresh. The star of our lunch was the Rotisserie chicken. Mmmmmm, the au jus broth served with this fall off the bone chicken was spiced to perfection. We loved the French music playing in the background and the cute decor in the outside seating area. Our thanks to the waiter Edgar, who was attentive to a tee and commented "I hope you come back again." Oh, we will Edgar, we most certainly will!

The service and attention to detail at this restaurant is phenomenal. The owner sat us immediately, even though the restaurant was quite busy. Our server was attentive and had our drinks full the whole time. The food was decedant, from appetizers to dinner to dessert. Everything was delicious. Worth the price and would return.

Excellent Food, Beautiful Atmosphere! Stopped in here for dinner. They have just the right amount of menu options for everyone. Their food tastes home cooked and of high quality. Very appealing to my taste buds! Chicken was tender and delicious, potatoes were creamy and the brussel sprouts were outstanding. Salmon was fresh tasting and the environment was very relaxing. Highly recommend!

VERY impressed with this place. Food is excellent!! Coming in from out of town and decided to try it based on previous reviews. I would say the service is all over the place, but they try really hard to take care of everyone. My wife got the chicken vol-au-vent and I got the seafood vol-au-vent and both were amazing! We stuck it out for desserts and those were really good as well. Perfect way to end the meal! Highly recommend and definitely would be back.

Paris in Palm Desert! This place is gem and the entire menu is fire! Amazing flavors and the best rotisserie chicken I’ve ever had. For starters the French Onion soup is just incredible with so much flavor and stretchy chewy cheese. Adding this to the rotation.

Beautiful dining room. Delicious chicken, French bread, cesar salad and Yukon gold puree. Coffee and chocolate mousse very yummy.
Julie K — Google review
The coffee had a distinct French flair, and the desserts were quite impressive. Both the duck and clam dishes I ordered were excellent, showcasing the chef's culinary skills. The service was also top-notch, adding to the overall dining experience. I highly recommend French Rotisserie Café for anyone seeking a taste of French cuisine in Palm Springs.

Cowboy Cantina is a restaurant with a fusion cuisine developed by owners Jim Valdez and Pete Lambert, along with chef Johnny Vee. The menu, influenced by rustic cooking techniques, is now overseen by local chef Oscar Ayala. The Waffle Madness dessert, topped with Ancho chile caramel sauce, is a must-try. Customers praise the Saddle chicken sandwich and Oscars tacos plate for their excellent flavors and generous portions.
Cool-happening place that just moved into The River in Feb ‘25. I never been to the old location but this is one has a very modern atmosphere. The staff is very good and friendly…we got to know the owner, manager and the two bartenders, Ryan and Michelle. They are very knowledgeable so talk about drinks with them if you are in the bar area. Plan to come back for dinner so stay tuned but the drinks were awesome and ask for recommendations if you don’t see any you like on the menu. Great place to come have drinks for sure!
Visanu T — Google review
We liked this restaurant and the menu, but maybe we expected a little more of a “cowboy/saloon” setting. It has a cowboy theme, but still looks mostly like any other modern restaurant. The menu is good and prices are fair. We liked the vegetarian options on the menu, including a Beyond Burger. Service was fairly good. Our food was very good, but not particularly unique or interesting. We will return again sometime to give it another try.

Ate here with our family of four (boys age 8 and 12). It's a bit fancier than i expected. Most of the clientele was resort casual (We were in tshirts and shorts). Fish and chips was outstanding. Smash burger so delicious!!! I thought the fries were below average. Overall a good experience.

Beautiful upscale environment. Went for an event and very happy to discover this place. Oh so affordable can’t believe it for such an upscale place. They have a Monday and Tuesday specials that I will be going back for. Plenty of parking and covered parking for those summer days.

We have been to Cowboy Cantina a few times to enjoy the Wednesday night line dancing with Sandy, and that keeps us coming back. Coupled with the great food and service, it is a great night out!

The restrooms were clean and stocked. The waitress Flor was very polite and informative. She was very personable and knew the history of the restaurant. The peach margarita was phenomenal. The brisket sandwich was moist, the bbq sauce was incredible and I believe made in-house. The kids chicken tenders were delicious, and the ribs were to die for. Will 100% be returning for Flor and the food.

A nice place to eat at the backside of The River shopping center. The fare is mostly American burger cuisine with a choice of beef or chicken. The ambiance is "nouveau industrial," with huge A/C ducts hanging under the ceiling. Lots of cowboy accoutrements are hanging on the walls. There is live music after 7:00 pm, which may get a bit noisy. The service was pretty good.

Italian restaurant
Porta Via Palm Desert is a neighborhood restaurant with a sophisticated ambiance and a menu that emphasizes freshly baked goods, locally sourced produce, and high-quality meats and seafood. The restaurant offers creative twists on classic dishes, such as butternut squash tortellini in white wine sage cream sauce and grilled branzino with rosemary and sea salt. Guests can also enjoy breakfast options like the Porta Via Scramble or Grand Marnier French toast.
We had such a great experience here! Walking in, it’s like a “tropical great Gatsby”. With green upholstery and tropical florals adorning the aisles and entry way with splashes of gold, wooden slats, and warm globe lighting. So chic! First impressions, we thought they may be “uppety”, but really are NOT. They are so friendly and welcoming here. Seemed very kid-friendly too! They made my son a “mini bolognese pasta”, which was perfect for him! Caesar salad and grilled calamari were good starters. The calamari were breaded so lightly and seasoned just right! The Caesar salad had just the right amount of dressing and topping and lettuce ratio. Main dishes were the rigatoni and sea bass. The rigatoni was good. Nothing too outrageous…it was just okay👌 the sea bass was cooked perfectly; flaky and moist!! The sauce was a tiche sweet, but the sea bass and bak choy balanced it out. We loved our visit here and would totally come back and recommend coming here when visiting Palm Springs!

With a soaring, airy, casual space that is decorated as a throwback to mid-century, every little detail is thought of here. The food is perfectly prepared and the menu is filled with updated classics. I would return for the lobster roll and housemade potato chips alone! Special requests are honored. Perfect example of customer care is seating areas for solo, pairs, groups and parties. AC and misters make indoor-outdoor seating pleasant at all times for everyone. Free parking lot in back.

Amazing food and drinks!! Great vibes and friendly staff. Always worth stopping by here on a night out in Palm desert. Sushi was exceptional as was the pasta. We loved it here ✨🍷

Great little spot! Friends took me here just for drinks and some apps. Was bustling on a Saturday night. Known for their martinis. My friends got the Cali cleanse which they swear by, it was a no from me but tastes very clean! I got the summer in a glass, extremely refreshing. We did get the meatballs which were good but $20? Idk about that, though it is California. The sushi roll was fantastic. I’d definitely be back when in the area!

Came in for a drink at the bar, ended up ordering the lobster roll and 1/2 salad. The service is above and beyond - I forget his name but the blonde bartender was fantastic. Drink was super yummy (and STRONG). The lobster roll was divine - surprisingly light and refreshing as the lobster is not heated and not coated with tons of mayo (apparently this is an east coast thing, I can’t comment since I’m not from there but it was good!). My only suggestion is the chips could have been crispier as some didn’t have a crunch. You can order salads as a 1/2 order and I got the porto via which was yummy, but 15$ for a half salad should be a crime. Beautiful atmosphere.

Food was SO good and beautifully plated. I had the PV salad, which was an amazing suggestion but our lovely server Sylvia! She was so charming and patient. She checked on us without being overwhelming. I typically am a Caesar salad girlie but she suggested the PV salad and I’m so glad she did! It was delicious. My mom had the filet and said it was the best she ever had! The hostesses were gracious and gave us a warm goodbye on the way out. We WILL be back next time I’m visiting Palm Desert!

We hosted our Friday night pre-wedding family dinner at Porta Via and it was absolutely perfect. The staff was incredible — so kind, attentive, and genuinely eager to make everything seamless. The managers stayed in constant communication with me leading up to the dinner, which made the entire experience stress-free and easy. The food was delicious (everyone was raving about it), the service was spot-on, and the atmosphere felt warm and elegant without being stuffy. It was exactly the kind of intimate, joyful evening we hoped for. Highly recommend for any special occasion!

Chef Tanya's Kitchen has two locations, one in Palm Springs and the other in Palm Desert. The Palm Springs flagship is tucked away in an industrial complex and offers a small retail and deli space along with a dining room. Meanwhile, the Palm Desert outpost provides a more spacious setting. The restaurant specializes in all-vegan dishes such as sandwiches, soups, salads, and desserts.
Love this place. Chef Tanya is the best. An innovative chef that make going vegan appealing. Her spot in Palm Desert is really nice. And the staff is outstanding. On this day, I got the daily spicy chicken sandwich, which is awesome. It comes with an agua Fresca, which is delicious v

Truly the most incredible Birthday dinner I’ve ever had! The staff was so kind and generous. My husband and I came in from Joshua Tree cause we read great reviews and they truly hold up! It is worth the drive. The food was delicious. We ended up getting some carnitas from the freezer because the tacos were the best vegan tacos I’ve ever had. The Fresca also— top notch! Both staff members went above and beyond to make my birthday special and it seriously made my day. I am so grateful and highly suggest going!!
Mariah V — Google review
Our new favorite place in the low desert, with an all vegan menu and kitties next door 🥰 I hardly know where to start! Hubs & I first ate here the last Saturday in May, and Chef Tanya's Cat Kingdom next door was open for adoptions with kitties from local shelters 😻 We ate outside on the patio which is a nice ambiance with misters and a pesticide-free bird and pollinator habitat. We took home food to go, including their spicy queso dip which was on sale so they were giving samples out. Really tasty and hard to believe it was vegan. The next time we were in the area was a Friday and we got there in time for breakfast. I tried their rosemary latte because the syrup is made with real rosemary, and it was so good I wanted another, but left room to try their haboobs! Hubs enjoyed a Mocha latte with caramel, so following up with a Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookie Haboob was a no-brainer. I was feeling adventurous with Crystal Blue Persuasion, and it was exotic tasting, but I probably should have gone easy on the blueberries and ginger. Everything we ate was delicious and amazingly vegan. For some reason I received caramelized onions on my to-go sandwich when the receipt noted I had requested without. The onions didn't ruin the taste since they were caramelized (and became food for our compost bin so they weren't completely wasted). Our second visit we brought an ice chest and took home some of their ready-to-go items in addition to meals for dinner. Hubs got the weekly special both times which comes with an agua fresca, so we enjoyed different flavors on the patio and at home. There is a gift shop as well, with colorful and funny cards, stickers and pins, and books that make you think about the earth and its innocent creatures. Hubs and I have been vegetarian since 2001, but I ended up buying The Pig Who Sang to the Moon, a Book by Jeffrey Moussaieff Masson, because the title made me cry 😿 Friendly staff and a convenient rewards program to keep you coming back. I rec'd $5 off our order when signing up at the register, and our meals earned us $5 off our to-go order. On our next visit after ordering breakfast, we'd earned $5 off our dessert 👍 Finally, when visiting La Quinta we've often driven across the 111 to Palm Springs to eat on the patio and take food to go at Native Foods. We were thrilled to discover CTK in Palm Desert, see Chef Tanya's timeline and make the connection that Chef Tanya also founded Native Foods! Chef Tanya's Kitchen makes me wish I lived in Palm Desert, I'd support this place every day 🙏👏

Wowwowow coming from Nashville, where we have a local place that makes their own delicious seitan, I am a harsh critic when it comes to seitan. But TANYA HAS NAILED IT. When I tell you that the Cubano is one of the most delicious sandwiches I have ever had… period. And oh my god the date shake. I could cry! I went back multiple times while I was in town to try other menu items, and every dish was amazing. Will go out of my way to eat here any time I’m within 100 miles. Palm Desert, you are lucky to have this place!
Sarah S — Google review
I eat here once a week for lunch. Sometimes more. And I'm not even a vegan. It's pretty rare to find food like this that is both delicious AND healthy. These are not just good vegan sandwiches these are just GOOD SANDWICHES. My favorite is the Cubano. I kind of wish it had a different name as it isn't really similar to a traditional Cubano. But that aside it is super satisfying. It still has a nice mustardy sauce and perfect pickles.Besides that, I've tried all their sandwiches (and most salads). If one sounds good to you, go for it. Only complaint is that these are not inexpensive. Sadly like most food these days. Pro tip for BNP Paribas Open tennis spectators: This place also opens in the tennis garden during the tournament in March. But if you're passing through Palm Desert get one at the restaurant and enjoy it courtside at a match. It's significantly cheaper than at the venue.

This restaurant really deserves a five star! I'm really happy with the service. Quick and efficient. Thank you so much! I'd love to be back again!

If I could give this place 10 stars I would! Everything was yummy from the food to the drinks to the jarred things that I bought. Great Vegan spot and that’s coming from me the non-vegan.

Oh my oh my!!!!! This place was absolutely delicious I would've taken a picture but I literally inhaled my food that's how delicious it was!!!! I got the chubacabra sandwich it is one of the best sandwiches I have ever had hands down, the agua fresco was so refreshing and had the perfect sweetness. I definitely recommend 10/10 the very nice lady taking our order was so nice and had a big smile. Thank you I loved it!
