When a place only serves one dish, you would expect it to be amazing….and you would be right! The mushrooms were outstandingly delicious. Highly recommend.

They only do Mushrooms but they do them with style! This was our favourite tapa of the night by far. Fresh mushrooms cooked with garlic, parsley and olive oil and topped with a small prawn. Beautifully seasoned and accompanied with a Rioja Crianza which was divine. All this for 7.80 euros was fantastic value for money! Definitely don't miss this place!

Would you expect a place that serves only one dish of mushrooms on bread to be busy? Well this place is heaving with locals. I've never tasted mushrooms as good as this. It also sells wine and beer as well. We had 2 glasses of white wine plus 2 mushroom on bread for €5.60

We have really enjoyed the winery tour at Franco Españolas, it is right there in the city of Logroño so do not miss it. The tour content is way superior than other wineries because they take a meta view of the history of the region. It was the union of Spanish and French producers (hence the name) after the phyllorexa epidemic that spawn the renewal of wine production and it happened right here at this winery. The tour is very complete, from the original vats to the cellar where they store their old vintages (that are on sale), our tour guides was very knowledgeable and enjoyed giving the history and explanations. That was the highlight: the tour guide. It made a big difference. And he answered all questions. A real professional. The tasting at the end is the most underwhelming part of the tour, we almost lowered the rating to 4/5 because of it but the tour guide is so good that the content more than made up for the wine tasting. We attended the Spanish language version. Interesting tour from a history point of view. Very knowledgeable guide, lacking in enthusiasm though. The tasting at the end of the tour left us a bit cold. This is where the guide's passion would have helped. Instead, he just disappeared without saying thanks and goodbye to the visitors. Overall, professionally organized, a tourist experience rather than one for wine enthusiasts. And that's fine, just go and attend with the correct expectations.

We only did a wine tasting and not a tour. We had a couple of flights of wine, a cheese board, and ventrescas. Ruben, our server, did a great job of explaining the wines to us in English. Our favorite wine was the Palpita. The atmosphere was pleasant.

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Victor, our tour guide, shared the history of the winery and wine making process. Because of the echoing, it was difficult to hear at times. The tasting was just as good as we had hoped.

Booked a wine tour and when I showed up the next day for it, was told along with everyone else that was there for it that they had to cancel. The reason being that someone had paid a lot of money for a private tour that afternoon. They were very apologetic and said they would refund the money- obviously they have to do that. They gave everyone a glass of wine from the bar. Patrons could not rebook because they were not in town when it would be rescheduled. Wine was good, not great. They really should have done more for the inconvenience they caused everyone. Many other places to choose from.

We did a tour with a very good English speaking young lady, Carmen. She was very knowledgable, the Bodegas is amazing and massive. The wines were nice too. Try afterwards!

This is a fun tour and the grounds have been there for such a long time, the historical photos on the tour are really cool. There is a collection of old bottles that would be amazing to get a chance to try. At the end of the tour you get to sample some wine with some snacks to clear the pallet.

A good place for meat lovers. The Agus is a must try. The sausage is a bit salty as almost all the Spanish sausages. The waiters at the bar work as a team and synced perfectly. Very efficient to arrive and charge. No long wait or line up.

Their sandwiches the Tio Angus is the most beautiful experience. Would never forget the explosion of flavours. Would love to come here again!!!!!!

Best gluten free pintxos ever! They bake there own gluten free bread. Matrimonio is the classic pintxo, very tasty. Great service too, ask for recommendations on the wine. Crianza red wine <Edulis/Piérola> are the best option (personal recommendation) In general it's very cheap.

I had a matrimonio and white wine. The bread is delicious, I’m not really a fan of anchovies but everyone here says that it’s a typical pincho that you have to taste if you are here in Logroño. It’s not bad, I think that if you like anchovies it would be actually really good. We also tasted the bread with goat cheese and jamon. This was delicious.

Great tapas, not the usual. We loved the gamba with pineapple, and the "zapatilla de jamon" : a slice of bread with tomato and jamon, toasted. Their "tortilla de bacalao" (omelet with codfish) is cooked perfectly. And we were very pleased we were welcome inside the bar with our dog.

I loved this place! Patatas Bravas were a little spicy but preluded by delicious tomato flavor. I prefer this to the other more barbeque style patats Bravas I've had in Basque country and Barcelona. If you order them spicy, you should be ready because they already have a nice subtle, back end heat to them.

We tried the tortillas with spicy sauce and the stuffed pepper. We kinda liked the tortillas with spicy sauce however, even when we came here in the morning, most of the pintxos were cold and not fresh. So we were not sure if they cooked today or yesterday. Anyway, they use a microwave to heat them up which is not good.

Located in the popular Calle de Laurel area, pop into Bar Sebas for the tortilla with spicy sauce. The tortilla was cooked to perfection (no runny middle) and the spicy sauce took it to a new level.

I lived in Logroño for year and this is definitely my favorite tapas/pinchos bar. The stuffed pepper (pimiento relleno), tortilla (Spanish omelette), and Bacalao (Cod) are all amazing. If you can manage to be just a bit brave I would recommend trying the morcilla (blood sausage). Sounds gross, but it is AMAZING!

Some of the best food we have eaten. Absolutely delicious. We ordered dishes to share and they separated them in the kitchen beautifully into individual and generous portions. The service is a little disjointed, but in a way that is endearing rather than taking away from the experience. The ambience is a little stark initially, but you soon settle in. I would highly recommend this restaurant. It is also family friendly, and I say that as a childless diner who enjoyed an intimate meal with my partner but there were two neighbouring tables with children that the restaurant accommodated perfectly and in a way that was both great for them but did not detract from our own meal.

The seabass was absolutely mind blowing! The rice with lobster was delicious! And The Tarta de queso was to die for! All I can say is I’m so happy I found this place!

The restaurant itself is charming and cozy, perfect for a relaxing meal after a day of walking/cycling The food was exquisite, with a great balance between quality and price. Wowwww, a gem of indulgence! This was an amazing tasting experience. We dropped by without a reservation, the hospitality and effort in speaking English was superb friendly. We had a weekday lunch menu (3-course) which is a fantastic deal for €25 pp. Each course was divine delicious and portions was quite large for our standards. Offered courses was similar to a-la-carte selection and might differ slightly. Definitely recommend starter Logrono tomato tuna salad and for dessert Torrijas a la Riojana (Spanish-style French toast) and Spanish cheesecake which has a very cheesy taste

The food is good but nothing amazing. Next time we would eat their tapas rather than a sit down meal. Our waitress was fantastic. Despite our awful ability to speak Spanish she accommodated us as best as she could. I have a nut allergy and a allergy menu was provided for me! I would recommend coming to this restaurant!

Our group of 24 (plus our tour manager and coach bus driver) sat on the upper floor for dinner. We were served family style of fresh baked bread, crispy pork belly, croquettes, pimentos de padron, a tomato salad (thinly sliced) drizzled with balsamic vinegar, grated cheese and olive oil, and lamb shank with potatoes. We were served with copious amounts of red and white wine. Dessert too, but I didn’t take a photo and don’t recall what it was. Overall, a great dinner with friends. Taking my guests from Off Road & Overland Adventures Ltd to Campo Viejo at least once a year I have to say this year's tour has been even better than past years. Joana, our guild was absolutely amazing and showed us things that I had not seen on previous tours and for that this deserves a 5* review as being a travel guide myself I had moments of surprise like my guests do and got that amazed 1st time feeling all over again. The tasting after the tour is fantastic and Joana really did know her stuff as she found us wines that were not on the shelf as well as guiding us through new tastes. We will see you in 2025.

I have not been to many winery tours but totally enjoyed this one. Gabriella our guide was fabulous and explained details about the region I would never have thought to ask. The winery was modern and beautiful. Our wines were paired with chocolate (I would never have thought to do). It was relaxing and worth the taxi ride (if you didn’t have a car).

We have always liked Campo Viejo wine we bought in our country. Campo Viejo is branded at all over the world with very international focus and large good quality production. But our experience at the winery was terrible I have to say, we could only visit the winery today as a tourist. The girl at the reception said the tour will be in Spanish, and then she ignored completely us during the 1h30m tour, with only two sentences in English: did you understand anything in the beginning? And did you enjoy the tour in the end? You could have gave a bit more care and effort to your international customers who have always bought and liked your wine in our country. We had such a great time! Arancha is a great tour guide, super friendly, passionate and knowledgeable. The Bodega is beautiful, it’s more than meets the eye. The wines are varied and accommodate any palette. If you re in the area don’t hesitate, definitely worth the stop!

The winery is amazing, driving up you have no idea of the size as the production area is all underground. The fermenting tanks, barrel room and bottle room are a sight to behold and makes a tour completely worth it. Campo Viejo is a huge winery and the staple reliable Spanish red in my country (Canada) so I had to visit it while in La Rioja. Just be aware it’s very commercial and professionally run, compared to smaller wineries where you might meet the owner it feels pretty slick, you won’t get a personal experience and it’s not cheap.

This is the most impressive bodega I’ve been to in La Rioja so far!! Our tour guide Ariana was exceptional and spoke in great detail about the functionality of the winery. I can’t recommend this place enough especially since their tasting with the tour allows you to sample a really interesting selection of their best wines.

Pretty good but it wasn't my favourite. Really enjoyed the pinxos steak and egg with eels. Not for everyone but it's cooked will.

One of the few truly kid-centric indoor activities in Logroño. Beautiful and convenient location along the Ebro River bank, flanked on both sides by trails and park space. Small museum with limited exhibits, and a great little library. Weekends feature hands-on, interactive demonstrations which are excellent - often hosted in their heavily shaded outdoor space. Also some fun science-inspired installations throughout the property. Very kind staff, clean facility, and a welcomed reprieve from the summer heat.

We didn't go in, but the science exhibits outside were incredibly fun (and educational to boot!)

Poor. Don't bother going inside, even if it is free! Just 'play' with the exterior stuff which can be fun for half an hour. The interior has a very large photo of old Logroño and a toilet which are worth a visit if you need to, but the rest is just not worth it.

This is an amazing free museum with lovely interactive exhibits which teach you the philosophy of science. The outdoor exhibits make great music. Would give 6/5 for a free museum of such quality.

So much more could be done with the inside space. We missed the workshops, otherwise nothing much to see. The interactive installations outside are good for kids.

Im a vegetarian and really enjoyed this pincho bar. There were 5 vegetarian options and 2 vegan. I got a croquette with cheese and walnut, eggplant filled with something and topped with cheese, and vegan morcilla. My bf and I loved the eggplant(he’s not vegetarian) and I really liked the croquette. I was happy to try the morcilla since I’ve never had the vegan version before. I’ve been vegetarian my whole life so a lot of times, I am not used to the meat flavors which was the case this time. I am glad I tried it though. Service was fast but this place can get crowded. Less crowd during lunch than at dinner time.

So fresh seafood, expertly prepared! My wife is a snobby foodie and great chef and even she agreed, very good. The experience in Bar la Casita was super nice. The food is really good, the people working in there are kind and gentle, what guarantee to you a really good service. They have nice drinks too. The unique thing sometimes bothers is the time you need to wait to have your food, but this is related to how crowded is the place. My wife had the squid ink rice with chives and cheese which was overpowered by the salty, seafood taste of the squid so it just tasted of salty, seafood rice and there was a large bowl of it. For mains I chose the tuna which was a bit overcooked and was again overpowered by salt because it was in a broth of soy sauce and with the addition of roe so lacked complexity or the ability to really taste the tuna so it may as well have been tinned. It could have used some accompaniment of vegetables as it was just a piece of tuna in a bowl of salty tasting broth with some roe and as the bowl is deep and steep it's quite difficult to get it out with a knife and fork, a spoon would have been better. My wife had the duck and despite the menu not listing it, it came wrapped in bacon. She didn't think it really needed this as there was enough duck and it didn't really add much and the bacon took over from the delicate sweetness of the duck, also the pear puree couldn't be detected. The desserts were a sharing size Tiramisu and cheese cake. The coconut ice cream was very subtle and she found the cheese cake just average. Don't expect too much from the food as the menu reads a bit better than it appears but as a lively venue with a good wine selection it's worth a visit.

Delicious food! They speak a little bit of English and have English menus, not perfect translation but I’m grateful. Our meals were amazing. Opens at 9pm though so be aware. We got there around 8:30 and walked around Calle de Laurel and got one tapa and a glass of wine. Our entrees and one glass of wine was only $50!

Excellent food and the waitress was very polite and helpful. Highly recommend the tuna. They were kind enough to split the portion on two plates, so you only see a half portion in this picture. The flan was also spectacular. High grade ingredients. The tomato salad with tuna was wonderful and fresh. Thank you!

The cook/server lady had an attitude, maybe because my Spanish was not good so she needed her colleague to repeat to her what I ordered.

I've told everyone that the skewers at bar Paganos in Calle Laurel is why the Camino passes through Logrono! The staff are fantastic and whether it's a good wine or a small beer you'll get great hospitality and it's magnificent value. I've been coming here for the last 6 or 7 caminos and apart from when it was closed I've had my fill! Calle Laurel has so many places that some people don't make it this far before the albergue is closing but do yourself a favour and start your evening here and work your way back to the albergue! The locals know their bars and its always ticking over and rammed after 10pm.

Best known for their pincho moruno. This should be one of the pit stops of everyone’s Calle Laurel pilgrimage.

Lovely tour of the barrel room and tasting. Very quiet on a Monday and they were able to accommodate our English language as I had mistakenly booked a Spanish tour (double check what page you are booking on). It was well worth having a tasting to be introduced to the Tempranillo Blanco.

Had a fantastic wine tasting visit here whilst we were staying in Logrono. Vineyard is super convenient to walk to from the centre taking about 15 minutes. Very friendly welcome followed by a wonderfully informative and fun tour around the beautiful facilities. We then tried a great selection of their wines with some lovely meats and cheese that complemented them perfectly. Only downside was as we were travelling with hand luggage only we could just take away the one bottle of their wine to enjoy later. We highly recommend this experience and it's fantastic value. So much so we'll do again when back in Logrono.

June(but please translate to Basque as I cant) our tour guide was brilliant, & so knowledgeable about the vineyards history & all the processes. She gave us & a lovely Dutch couple the tour alone in perfect English, & we tasted the most delicious wines..... excellent tour & would highly recommend it. We are touring on motorbikes, so we couldn't stock up unfortunately..... Happy days, book a tour you won't be disappointed!

Also no weights in the gym, which makes the gym a little useless. Beautiful town with wonderful people - maybe try to match that. This is NOT four star hotel.

🚨Great room, but serious concerns about parking and security The hotel itself is beautiful — our room was large, quiet, and very comfortable, with a high ceiling, nice bed, and excellent bathroom. We also paid for a private parking space inside the building, which is not accessible directly from the street. Unfortunately, during our stay, someone attempted to break into our car inside this private garage. We have photos showing the damage. When we informed reception, the only response was that there are no cameras, and they simply apologized. No further help or concern was shown. What also worried us: the reception was unattended at times (including late at night), and the entrance to the building wasn’t well monitored — meaning anyone could walk in and access the interior spaces, including the parking area. We expected a higher level of security and customer care from a hotel in this price range. The room itself was great, but sadly the overall experience was overshadowed by this incident and the way it was handled. In the end, we have to pay to repair our vehicle, and the hotel has offered nothing except a shrug. We regret staying here.

A solid four-star hotel spread across four floors in the industrial part of Logroño. The rooms are modern and the mattress comfortable. Half of the rooms offer a limited view so make sure you ask for a main road facing room. The unique feature of the hotel is the dinning area that features sections of the old fort, offering a space full of light and glass ceilings. The service is efficient and proactive. The breakfast included in some rates is average, with a section of fruits, breads, cereal and meats. During my stay the wifi broke down, with the hotel staff offering an alternative option.

Great location for the Camino. Comfortable, clean, and spacious rooms. It was nothing as good as the Eurostar in Pamplona. But it was good. It stay there again just based on the location alone.

Horrible experience. We asked for options that were gluten free and dairy free, ordered what was recommended, and upon eating discovered the food contained gluten and dairy. Stay away at all costs if you have food allergies.

Order the goat (cabrito). Served with an excellent roasted pepper salsa. Exquisite. Great paired with a very good tinto joven (I forget which one). I would have given it five stars, but the bread was stale and there were no seats (I am old). Friendly bartender.

The foie gras pincho is a must!

Grilled boletus (local mushroom) with iberico ham and truffle oil toast €4.4 Quite expensive for this small plate. Unexpectedly sour and very appetising.

Unfortunately, the bald gentleman was extremely rude to me (a younger female). He decided to yell at me in front of the entire bar as I walked in with food from another restaurant just to grab my 4 year old niece's hand to bring her outside. I felt very degraded. This was right after my family had already bought a round of drinks and pinchos from this bar.

As in Donosti (aka San Sebastian, in the Basque country) great grilled foie...

You have to go and you to have the foie gras pintxo. It’s heaven. Words don’t give it justice. Trust me. It will make your trip to Calle de Laurel.
