DO believe the hype. The decor, wine, food and service are each 10/10 and combined they create an incredible night. The staff were also great with our two year old and had a child seat for her, which isn’t as common as in the uk (the seat bit). The food is incredible, could’ve easily ordered quite little as the portions are big but the quality is 10/10. The chorizo tortilla is an absolute must.

Not only was the ambience and the decor exquisite, but the food was out of this world. The snails, the Fillet, the Tortilla, and the meatballs were amazing. The tuna for starters was also very tasty. The deserts were great, esoecially the rice pudding and the cheesecake.

Originally a wine cellar turned to a beautiful restaurant, now you can experience local cuisine. Service was outstanding and food was delicious. Must try their fish pate and their perfectly cooked selection of meats. Fun fact, the green apples on every table are to keep away the evil eye!

Dining here is like having your food in an art installation. The ambiance is amazing with amazingly painted wine barrels The food And service match up to the decor and ambience. A must visit place if you are in Santander

What a beautiful restaurant with great food. I go to at least 4/5 restaurants per week across Spain and this is by far one (if not the) best meal I’ve had. Essentials: ENSALADILLA, ALMEJAS, RAVIOLI (Per unit), STEAK TARTAR. Place is ashtonishing and service top notch!!! I don’t do it often but here are my 5 stars

Oh my god! Done of the best food I've ever had. Everything we had was amazing! Brilliant balance of flavours in every dish. This place is famous for its ravioli (starter but you can order by the unit) which was unbelievable. The chargrilled peppers were superb. All mains were just delicious. Service was extremely pleasant and professional. Great value for money; 3 starters, 3 mains, 3 desserts, wine, beer and bread €140 😮 Highly recommended

On a Saturday, it was definitely a place to be - it was buzzing with people and a very cozy & lively vibe. I had a table at the bar area, and there’s a restaurant at the back. Had a few tapas, was a little confusion how service worked - some tables had a server, I ended up ordering at the bar itself. All the dishes were tasty, and good quality. The only downside was the speed of service, they seemed to forget some of the order, leading to waiting for over 45 minutes for my last tapas, having had to ask about it again.

The restaurant’s location/view are stunning!! Presentation and service on spot. However, we were not too impressed with the food. We thought it was good but it was not Wow. The previous day we had gone to Casona del Judio (also 1 Michellin star) and we were so impressed by the entire experience so we had very high expectations. The food was not bad and some of the dishes were really good but some were not. When you choose your bread, get the corn, it’s delicious.

What an amazing experience from beginning to end. Every element of every dish was well thought out and perfectly executed. The service was also fantastic with the staff being so attentive and knowledgeable. The view of the sea facing the restaurant was the icing on the cake. Thank you for a lovely afternoon. This restaurant must be on everyone's must-visit list on the area.

El Serbal is a great choice for excellent dining, fine wines and the best location experience. Our service was superb while still very friendly and sincere. We dined at lunch and enjoyed the beauty of the ocean and fresh air as we were fortunate for good weather. I highly recommend a visit or two. The tasting menu was just the right amount of food and various flavors.

Overall, it wasn’t an outstanding dining experience - the food felt fairly basic. While some parts of the set menu stood out with great flavors, most dishes were quite ordinary. The tasting menu is generous though, so you won’t leave hungry. The location is excellent and the service was great.

El Serbal combines Cantabrian cuisine with a modern twist. The tasting menu is a delight, featuring fresh produce and thoughtful presentation. The service is highly professional, and the sea views from the dining room are spectacular. It is ideal for a special occasion.

Amazing food. Must have the wine pairing with the food because it truly elevates the experience. The pork and the tomato dishes were mind blowing.

A first class experience. It was a quiet evening on the day we came, there were only two other tables in use. The staff were so friendly and very professional. Our waitress spoke perfect English. This restaurant absolutely deserves its Michelin star, I could not fault anything. The tasting menu is reasonably priced for what you receive and each dish was immaculate. My favourite was definitely the gyozas, simply stunning. The petit fours at the end were so memorable also. The red jelly-like petit four had a strong aroma that was so captivating, I also really enjoyed how they made use of the tree table decoration to apply the appetisers and petit fours. The bread tray is impressive and a wide variety of breads are available, as well as two complimentary types of olive oil. Upon being seated, we were also offered a complimentary glass of wine on the house, which we thought was an excellent touch. My only complaint was how silent the restaurant was, I think there is a balance to be made, I felt I could hear a pin drop and that was unsettling. I would absolutely dine at El Serbal again, to date, it has been the best Michelin restaurant I have been to.

A little confused by the order system. Indoor sign says no table service but when I was able to flag down the waiter he placed my orders. Browsed the pinchos inside and when I didn’t know my table number, wait staff rolled their eyes at me. Table numbers are on the napkin holders for those who need to know. The single waiter working the entire outdoor patio was going nonstop: ringing up customers, clearing and cleaning tables, sweeping. Food was pleasant, went for the pinchos calientes including chicken curry, potato, vegetable, & cheese cassoulet, and bonito fish and cheese. The Gilda pinchos weren’t as good as they are in Bilbao. Did not prefer the cider, will stick with wine next time. Good for people watching and they remain open all afternoon and until midnight.

We had our visit in 5 years. Unfortunately our favorite tapas was not on the menu that day. Other tapas were great. The biggest question mark is about their beer. Why a Spanish institution serves Heineken?!?! Felt a very touristic decision

I've been here twice, both times solo on busy nights, and I've received great service to accompany the best pinxos I've had in Spain. The food is fresh, coming out every few minutes, inventive, and absolutely delicious. Even though it's popular and busy, it's never chaotic, and they make sure everyone receives attention. I recommend Casa Lita to anyone visiting Santander.

Lovely busy little bar close to the seafront in Santander. It's a popular venue and has a lot of atmosphere. Great variety of pinchos available to taste. Lovely staff. Recommend.

Great pinchos with many types to choose from. The bar staff will heat up the food when needed and provide help if you have any food preferences. That being said, as they are not made by order, some might be a bit stale, but not problematic. Price wise, it’s a good deal. All in all, a great place to have a meal.

We had a very nice lunch. I was expecting to find pintxos, but they stopped that menu years ago. It's a very upscale menu now. €25+ main dishes, starters under €20. We had two starters to share, two main dishes, one beer, one tea. €100

A very easy 5/5. We were lucky to get a reservation for 8:30pm the same night when we visited during siesta, judging by how busy it was later on I assume we got a late cancellation. The menu is excellent, and whilst we’d have been happy with Spanish menus we were pleased to be given English ones. My starter, cheese cut with honey and truffle is one of the best starters I’ve ever had. The croquettes (starter) and the ribs (main) were also amongst the best food we’ve eaten. The wine list is great, plenty of options and even has 1/2 bottles which is great for us who prefer different wines (red and white). Dessert was a struggle, only because we had eaten so much already, but we waited a few minutes and ordered the cheesecake. As with the other courses, it was genuinely one of the best we have eaten. Consistent brilliance from the food here, we loved this restaurant. Inside got extremely busy, it looked like a lot of people were taking tortilla plates away to eat outside - we’ll be back to try the tortilla before we head home!

The restaurant is a popular and chic place at the heart of Santander. We booked a spot at 20:30 and we were seated in a lovely setting (table on the first floor with a view on the rest of the restaurant). The mise en place is very elegant and overall the restaurant looks fancy. The waiting time to order and eat was kinda long compared to other restaurants (around 1 hour to get the starters), but they served an entree and bread in the meantime. As starters we had the salmorejo (delicious) and fried squid. Then we had pork ribs with Cantonese sauce (outstanding taste, the meat was cooked perfectly) and the hake with green sauce and clams (this was a bit disappointing for me: the fish was cooked perfectly, but I was expecting more effort in the presentation e.g., the placement on the fish, the number of clams, etc…). The dessert (chocolate coulant) was average, but again, I was expecting more from this place, considering it is listed in the Michelin guide. Maybe next time we try their pintxos, sounds like a good reason to go back ;)

Amazing place, the food was incredible and the service was superb. It looks crazy (and packed) from the outside, but they have a large dining area with good accoustics so even when packed you can have a conversation. The Albondigas de Merluza are a must as well as their famous Tortilla de Patata. And the apple tart was perfect, not too sweet with a crunchy base. We will definetely be going back.

Went for the omelette (tortilla) and was outstanding best one of the trip. Feeling a bit sad we didn’t go for the cheese cake as that looked amazing too and after eating the omelette I feel confident it would taste amazing as well. We were told to stand at bar and I feel that was good advice

We went to Cañadío for an aperitivo and had a beer, a glass of wine, and a pincho de tortilla, which was absolutely delicious, soft, and full of flavour. We’re no tortilla experts, but this one was truly excellent (though I’m sure Santander has many great ones!). The only downside was how busy it was — the poor lady behind the bar was on her own and juggling a lot. If they had one more person helping, it would be perfect. Otherwise, fantastic place and great experience overall.

It’s one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in Spain. The food is amazing, and I’d come back to Santander just for this place. The service is excellent, very kind staff who provide great recommendations. My family and I were truly impressed by this restaurant

We visited Cadelo tonight after a week split across Biarritz, San Sebastian and Santander. This restaurant is easily the highlight of our visit so far. The decor is modern but not cold, and tables are spread across two levels. The service was absolutely EXCELLENT. While apologising for their poor English, the friendly servers gave PERFECT mouthwatering descriptions of the food along with recommendations. When the food was served, they repeated the exact descriptions of each dish - first-class. We ate grilled turbot, sweet and sour glazed pork with kumquat and candied peanuts, and roast beef slices with a spicy pickle salad and brioche. All this plus water, wine and a small dessert came to €100 - excellent value. A gem, well worth a visit.

We did a walk in which miraculously succeeded but I suggest a reservation. The wine pricing is really reasonable. Food is great a bit asiatic hint to the usual Spanish dishes

Fantastic place. We arrived at 8:45 and we had to sit at a bar since we did not have reservations but it was out of the way and pleasant at the bar. The place got packed after 9pm. The food was a blend of Spanish and Asian. We shared the buñuelos of bacalao, karaage of chicken and empanadilla. Dessert was a pan con chocolate, a deconstructed chocolate bread with chocolate ice cream. The wine (a bottle of Tempranillo) was pretty amazing. Great place for a night out.

This restaurant was fully booked and they managed to squeeze us in at the bar. Service was impeccable. The food was outstanding. Open kitchen, everything ran like a well oiled machine. Spotlessly clean. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!! We felt extremely valued as diners.

AMAZING FOOD!!! I would give it 6 starts if possible. One of the best restaurants I have been in my life. We ordered at least 6 dishes, all of them incredibly tasty and yummy. Will be back and will recommend this place to anyone who comes to Santander. Also, 2 bottles of wine and some other drinks and the total for 5 people was around 34€ per person. Great price as well!!

I visited this restaurant a week ago. Had buñuelos de bacalao, zamburiñas plancha, salteado de setas and charlota de vainilla + gel de flores for dessert. The food was perfect and I was especially amazed by the dessert. The flavor of the flower gel was very intense but not artificial at all, it really felt like eating flowers. The waiter was very attentive and I had a lovely chat with him after the meal. I highly recommend this place and would love to come back!

Food was good, with the exception of the steak tartare that was average, but the service was outrageous. Waiters were inexperienced and we saw them fighting in front of the guests. Food service was badly planned and ruined the whole night. Not what you expect for the money you pay.

The hotel room was not the biggest of its kind, but it was clean and furnished lovely, so it did its job very well. It's very pleasing that the hotel has a parking lot included. The restaurant can be recommended without doubts: very lovely as well, and you can feel the love for details. The waitress has been very professional and kind and you can expect very delicious food for a fair price. We would definitely come back again!!

This is a nice seafood place if you like fish they cook fish to perfection not overcooked, the service is super I think the owner or manager he helps us choose our food and was spot on.

One of the most famous restaurants in Santander. Something was off this night. Ordered medium rare rib eye steak - had a beautiful cut - ordered medium rare arrived well done. Asked for salt at least 3 times . Got amazing tomatoes and olive oil with salt - but no salt as requested. Girlfriend ordered oysters for appetizer they were average . Ordered crab from the tank , not sure if the same was what was served. In any case - famous famous - but not going back .

I got there around noon and reserved a table. Everyone were nice and attentive. Food was great. shrimps were sweet and fresh. so were the octopus.

Busy, loud, not very personal but good food. You need to come very early to get a table. Even though this restaurant is large, they are always packed. The owner is on the grumpy side but worth the wait. It is a no frills, no nonsense type of restaurant. Well cooked, what you see is what you get restaurant. Good fish.. worth the wait.

Quick lunch, classic old style restaurant with the focus on fresh quality fish. Service was great but sometimes you needed to be patient until you caught the waiter's eye. Clearly a popular place for Friday lunch with a mixture of families and children alongside local workmen and tourists. Food was cooked simply. I had turbot which was served with a sprinkling of roasted garlic which had turned nutty and chewy. Delicious. Unfortunately the accompanying limp roast potatoes were gruesome but the salad I ordered was fresh and made up. My partner ordered hake and it was perfect.

A family favorite for years, we were told by the folks we had to go if we were in Santander. It didn't disappoint.

This place is a must go to place if you're looking for great food at a brilliant price! The place is quite a walk away from the the city centre. We had purchased the set menu, which contained: paella, sea bass, dessert (forgot to take a photo of this) and either wine or water for €18 euros (of the time of this review). With two of us dining, what we received was a whole bottle for the set menu, when we only expected to be served a glass' worth! We had also purchased two more dishes, which were the muscles and squid Raba and I'd highly recommend you try them, if you get the chance (Pictures for the dishes attached to this review) After dining here, I'm sure you'd agree.It'd be worth doing a marathon to get there! If you read this, I hope you enjoy dining here!

What a little find 😍 It's an old little restaurant. Can have a drink in the "offacina" office Or sit at the sharing bench tables with your friends or friend and enjoy sharing plates of food together. Food is good but not excellent. Surrounded by 10000 bottles of wine. And for an extra little surprise there is a raised piano which a pianist started playing all the old favourites. Good friendly service. Keep it up 😉

The oldest restaurant in Santander, for sure. It was built in 1901. It is a remarcable piece of history. The food is too expensive for what they offer but this is the price you pay for the atmosphere!

Beautiful setting among wine barrels and live music. If you are wanting a sample of their starter items, try the platos fritos. It has a selection of fried items. Once you love one, you can order more. Lovely wine selection.

La Conveniente is a throwback to a previous era, there are very few places like this left in Spain anymore or anywhere else for that matter. The interior does not look like it has changed in 100 years, down to the dust on the wine bottles stored above the bar. It is a genuine, unpretentious and thoroughly fantastic bar. Squint and it's easy to imagine it is the 1930s all over again. The vibe is very much not of the modern world and all the better for it. Flagstone floor, basic bar and, high up on a platform in the restaurant area, a young woman playing the piano. An authentic and unmissable Santander experience.

Ai, the chef had an off-day we hope! The dishes we ordered were out and we could wait 20 minutes. That of course is no problem! we never mind waiting for freshly prepared food bring it on! A complimentary pâté of fishes was offered for the waiting. It came in two pans. We saw it immediately. Arroz de marisco with extremely overcooked clam,(3), Congolese (2) and shrimp (1). You know when you overcook fish? It smells off. But ok, maybe the rice was nice. We love paella, but this rice was half raw. Give it 5minutes more, add some stock and make it nice… not like this. Partner’s dish same failure. Broken spaghetti with some sausage sliced. Pâté, yes, arroz, no. It is quite exceptional to have a good menu with over 100 dishes on it. Give me 10 good . Tourist trap? Almost there

This place was pretty good! It was pricier than normal, but we liked the appetizer and all the dishes we ordered. Four stars because of a surprise we got when two people ordered the same dish - I ordered the Arroz Negro and got a whole pan for myself, but two ordered the Paella Marinera and had the same sized pan with the same amount of food split between them...but we were charged for TWO orders!!

We were the only customers inside the restaurant, but the staff were more focused on playing with each other than paying attention to the customers. We ordered prawns and paella, and we can say that neither was average! The prawns were flavorless and the paella was salty and dry. This wasn't what we expected from a fresh seafood place. The paella was rice and very little seafood! It was a disappointment, and I don't recommend this restaurant.

Very good restaurant. The food was very tasty and special and the service was very good. I had cod fish in ink and my wife took 3 kind of fish stew. We took only main course and both dishes were enough for dinner. The place recommendation for dessert was quite a disappointment so the waiters removed it from the bill. We enjoyed it very much.

After reading some of the reviews we decided to order rice and we were not disappointed, we had the arroz de mariscos caldoso/meloso, it was absolutely outstanding.......great restaurant, great food and great service.......I would drive here from Madrid just to eat this rice again!

Our family and Friends were at this restaurant last year, and highly recommend it. The Galician beef and the seafood paella we had was just amazing!! My favourite dish was langostinos La Mulata. I Cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Just an unbelievable experience! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

We had such a wonderful dinner at this restaurant. The staff was super friendly, and Micaela in particular took the time to help us with all our questions since we don’t speak Spanish. The starter was absolutely amazing (see photo). Next time we’ll be back for the Paella! 😃

What an amazing (mainly) seafood restaurant! We went on the recommendation of our daughter who had visited last year - we were not disappointed This Michelin starred restaurant is not stuffy or pretentious - it serves really nice food, well presented and above all really tasty We went early afternoon for lunch. After a complimentary tomato/garlic amuse bouche we shared 10 amazing scallops (we’re from Scotland and used to high quality scallops) these were cooked to perfection. We then had grilled Sea Bass and grilled Monkfish - both really tasty.and well cooked A nice bottle of Rueda white wine went perfectly with our food! Tea and coffees to follow. Best restaurant in Santander the food here is amazing and the service was excellent this is definitely the best restaurant in Santander we stay in Santander 3 months and visit many good restaurants the best one by far is this one we recommend it for sure.

Wife and I recently visited while spending a night in Santander. We ordered WAY too much food but it was excellent. The seafood paella could have served 4 people easily. It was so good. I've had paella several times and this was the best. My wife ordered the creamy seafood soup thinking it would just be a small bowl but they brought us a huge tureen of soup. (This was probably our fault as our Spanish skills are poor) But it was an amazing meal! Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for great seafood in Santander.

Overall a good place. Showed up without a reservation and they gave us the very back table by the restrooms..... Even though there were lots of empty tables. And the older male servers gave me an arrogant vibe. The female servers were all nice. And the overall atmosphere was nice. Food was good, but mostly seafood so finding other dishes was a challenge.

In terms of culinary experiences, Marisquería Casa José was the highlight of our holiday. As a seafood lover, I was in heaven, and being located in Santander’s fishing district, the freshness of the catch was exactly as you’d hope. We started with a selection of small dishes: zamburiñas (absolutely outstanding), langostinos, Iberian ham croquettes (also incredible), rabas served in a huge portion, tender octopus, and a few other treats I’ve already lost track of. Every bite spoke of top-quality ingredients, but the star of the show was the stuffed hake, quite honestly, the best fish dish I’ve ever had. The restaurant itself is lively, with waiters constantly in motion, yet service never felt rushed. Even midweek, the place was packed, which says everything about its popularity. I’m glad we booked ahead, as I doubt we’d have got a walk-in table. Next time I’m in Santander, I’ll be heading straight back.

Food is very fresh, but honestly, nothing special, flavors were ok but far from delicious. Not cheap, basically a touristic spot with decent fresh seafood. Go for the spot (if that´s the case) not for the food. The 2 main dishes you can appreciate on the pictures were basically rice with a tiny bit of seafood, very expensive both. Service was good but they try too hard to sell you specific staff which is always not welcomed. Wouldn't go twice unless prices were half they are now, one visit was enough.

Friendly service, at the heart of the seafood port in Santander. The portions were massive; certainly enough to take home and have another meal. We got the lobster rice, octopus and fried calamari. All of them I'd recommend!

If I could this 10 stars I would! Absolutely fantastic food, we all went with seafood and could have ordered everything on the menu, waiter had to tell us we'd ordered loads 😂. The freshest of produce, combined with absolutely amazing service. Staff were excellent and were fantastic with our kids. As restaurant owners ourselves I honestly cannot recommend this place enough and we look forward to travelling back to Spain just to eat here. Best meal in our whole week in Spain! Do not miss it if in the area!

Let's start with the positives, they have a huge variety of very fresh seafood. I'm not sure I knew what to expect but just to prepare you, some things arrive cooked but with only a lemon to accompany them, so you really need to love the taste of seafood. Some dishes like the clams and the pulpo gallego have sauces / spices. Navigating the menu is also a bit tricky, but they will happily take you in and show you. I decided to try goose barnacles for the first time (Peceres) and that was a mistake, I found the whole experience revolting and I think that put me off the rest of the dinner. The area by the port is likely where the fish comes off the boats but not the nicest surroundings. Given all the good ratings I found myself disappointed.

Can't recommend this place enough, the quality of the food for the price is incredible. We queued up just before opening and were lucky enough to get the last table, the place was packed with people at the bar getting a quick bite and drink. Atmosphere was brilliant. Well worth a visit.

Spotted the place during lunchtime but the queue was huge at 1:30pm so we decided to come back at dinner. I would recommend to reserve a table otherwise you will be queuing even before the place opens. The blue cheese was simply amazing, best I ever had! The ox tail is fantastic too. We wanted to get some of the stew but they are only served during lunchtime. Highly recommend!

Myself and two of my friends were spending our first night in Santander. We were recommended this restaurant from a bartender at a close by bar. From the second we walked in, we knew we had been led in the right direction. Despite how busy it was, the staff were still incredibly friendly and helpful. We don’t speak Spanish and they made the biggest effort to understand us. Our server was outstanding. Super friendly and helpful even though he was incredibly busy. Couldn’t recommend this place enough. If you are visiting Santander, this is a must visit.

Top notch - all the delicious local foods you want! The cheeses & meats & veg & fish & delicious bread to eat it all up with. Very reasonable prices, nice wines - highly recommend. The soups & beans are only at lunch. Come right at 8 to try for a table if you don’t have a reservation.

Constantly busy, I had two tries before getting a table. Probably the best option is to make a reservation. Plenty of local people, and that is not a suprise. Superb vibe, gutted I havent tried more, but still. Medium plate of cheese, I recommend eating from the white, finishing with the Picon. Every is great, but picon is divine. Very strong and I may say-spredable. I decided to take croquetas caseras. Deep fried deliciousnes, filled with bechamel and two kind of meats in separte pieces. - amazing! I had a beer with the meal, so the portion was way to much for me. I took uneated rest for later. With addition of the cheesecake. Very stable, but smooth structure, with amazing contrast of sour top. Cheesecake was out of this world. Probably the best I havw ever eaten! Ivan, waiter which served us was helpful, and we spoke in english. He recommended me meat stew. Which I will definitely try, if there will be an occasion. It is a must visit in Santander!

Easily the best place for food and drinks in Santander. Truly authentic feel, incredible dishes of food and unbelievably cheap but very popular so book or you'll have to wait....simply amazing!!!! Full of locals which is the biggest hint it's awesome!

Genious. Crazy value for money. We (2 pers.) had 8 dishes (half portions most of them, which was plenty by the way) and 2 bottles of wine for around 125 euro. The dishes were incredible, especially the Tuna tartar and the Octopus carpaccio. The wines were superb. Nothing to dislike, only love!

An inviting experience! The decor is dainty and cohesive, and the candles lit on each table add a welcome touch. The food is absolutely stunning, you definitely receive value for the money you spend. In particular, I really enjoyed the salmon sashimi starter and especially the chocolate dessert. I will be thinking of this dessert for a long time, definitely the best chocolate dessert I have ever tasted! The service is also lovely, we were tended to by a kind lady who was professional and friendly. She made us feel at home & spoke very good English as well! I will definitely be back to try more of the menu, definitely a special restaurant!

Superb quality food. You'll struggle to find Michelin standard food at this price. Highlights were the tuna tartare and scallops (treat yourself to at least three!) Excellent wine list with lots of local options. Three courses each and a bottle of wine came in at around 90 EUR for a couple.

Me and my wife are on a Eurotrip by car and are visiting many cities where we book restaurants from the Michelin Guide. Our focus is on Bib Gourmand rated selections but not always. Till we arrived to Agua Salada we have visited 1 in Bordeaux and 4 in Bilbao from which 3 were Bibs. We selected this place just for lunch on our way from Bilbao to Picos de Europa. Let me tell you folks that this restaurant’s food and service has been the best on the trip so far and not by an inch but by a mile. The food is just so right, all the flavours are well balanced and the service is so friendly and warm. To be fair one of the best experiences we have had with my wife finding places to eat from the guide and we have visited 1⭐️ and 2⭐️ places and to be fair I would even say it is underrated by the guide. Dear Agua Salada keep up the good job you are doing and Carlos’s cooking is just amazing. I hope we can come back one day!

The best restaurant I've tried in Santander. I tried risotto, sweatbread and almond praline dessert. it was all very good. I would like to come again. the employees are very kind and help with the selections. The wine list is also extensive.

Service: We went to Casona del Judio and our experience was relatively good, especially when you compare it to other places in Santander. The waiters made an extra effort to ensure the explanations of the dishes were in both English and Spanish. What I thought odd was that the chef came out to speak to other tables more than once but only spoke to us once.. Food: The food was delicious and the presentation was well done. There were combinations that we weren't sure if we would like but all of it tasted amazing. The reason we pushed the rating down to a 4 is that there were a few unlikeable things. Foest, there was an eyelash or hair on one of the desserts which was a turn off. They brought us out an additional dessert but I don't think it was related to the incident. It was related to our engagement as we were celebrating that. They comped the coffee at the end as an apology. Additionally, they charged €4 per bottle of water. I know it's customary in Spain to charge for bottles of water but it looked like a specially made bottle foe the restaurant filled with tap water. Environment: The environment was nice. A good ambiance, nice music, and well decorated restaurant. Bathrooms were clean.

I had one of the best experience in my life. The place is amazing with beautiful garden full with herbs. Than warm welcome from kind Roxana. First part of the menu attend at open kitchen, where you can see and talk with the Chef Sergio Bastard. What a pleasure ! I was fascinated from the beginning to the very end! Every dish shows respect to tradition and region. Very inspiring! Thank you to entire team!

Excellent Michelin star awarded restaurant. We booked a month ahead. Saturday was full, so I got a table for Friday. We were a total of 4 tables for dinner. Service is great, friendly and informative. The venue is nice and well decorated. Lighting might be a bit on the strong side. We ordered the large menu. The food amount was good. Most of the dishes were simply exquisite, offering a combination of regional Cantabrian flavours. We absolutely loved ever single part of the experience and would be happy to come back!

You cannot leave Santander without visiting this Michelin starred restaurant which may very possibly be the best in all of Spain! If the creative and delicious food isn't enough to send you to cloud nine, the beauty of the house and grounds will. Highly recommend for special events.

Really nice spot and super friendly staff. Would definitely recommend for a chill night with the family or a football match. The vibe is really nice and the rabas portions are outrageously large. I can’t quite communicate how full I am but 1000% satisfied.

Really good starters, especially the tomatoes and the rabas (fried calamari). The mains can be a hit or a miss (steak and fish were quite good, but the rice was meh.)

It’s ok, but don’t be disguised by the Google price range, it says 1-10€, but it’s only if you come for a drink, if you want to dine in, it’s 30-40€ pp. Some positions like mains are ok price/quality relation wise. But the starters are too small and don’t worth it. Service was fine and quick. The atmosphere is the one of a regular touristic place by the sea. Summarising, I think you can find something éter for the same money in this area.

A definite go-to location in Santander if you want to have a cute coffee or drink with a spectacular view. The establishment is clean and the service is phenomenal! We were served by a lovely lady named Paula that was kind, professional and very helpful. Shout out to the complimentary tiny croissants - they were delightful!

We had a meal in the restaurant not the café/bar. We reserved earlier in the evening and as we have very little Spanish, our actual request was lost a bit in translation!! Nevertheless, the restaurant section boasts spectacular views across the beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was really good, tasty, well presented if perhaps a touch expensive.

Stopped by here for lunch. Excellent service and good food choices (light or full meals). Sea views are restricted to the full restaurant area but the snack side is reasonably well protected from the road. If you are early enough for a traditional Spanish breakfast, there is a churros wagon.

Seated and sat there waiting for our order to be taken for 20 minutes. Seems like we wasn’t the only ones. People were just standing up and leaving, as did we. Shocking service. No English menu also

Wonderful service at the store (La tienda) by Esther and Nancy. Amazing food and the service second to none. They offer meal options from the restaurant during the time when the regulars are closed. Great choice!

Came for breakfast expecting not much besides the wonderful views but i was positively surprised. The spanish tortilla was fresh and tasty, the orange juice was freshly squeezed and the pain au chocolat although not home made, tasty enough. The best, the sardinero beach views. During our holiday in Spain, we decided to visit this place based on its positive reviews. Here's our experience: the food was enjoyable, and we tried some local dishes after exploring and seeking recommendations. However, the waiters seemed very busy and couldn't spare much time to explain the contents of the dishes, especially since the menu was in Spanish. As tourists, even using Google Translator didn't provide much help, but we managed by looking at pictures of the dishes online. One thing that caught us off guard was that they charged for the bread they placed on our table. In other places we've been to in Spain, bread was always complimentary. If we had known we had to pay for it, we would have declined since we don't consume bread. Also, if you go with your dog, you are only allowed to eat at the terrace.

Enjoy the beautiful Sunset while you eat! Very Nice, informal restaurant. Lots of fish dishes on the menu and extra dishes with fresh fish/clams etc. Very popolular. Next to a selection of complete fresh fish (+/- kilo) lots of small dishes (raciones). Nice Food to share with the whole table. Delicious! We tried a couple of them. Direct view on the see (& Sunset at night). Crowded! Friendly staff. We’ll be back Next saturday to eat a big Lubina (seebass). Already made the reservation Update: saterday we ate a fine Lubina and we had the pleasure to see the sun going down right in front of our eyes ..the Windows of the restaurant are like a movie screen: perfect view!

One star – only because zero wasn’t an option. Trying to make a reservation was a nightmare — they don’t answer the phone, so booking ahead is practically impossible. The place shuts down after 17:00, and if you arrive before that, it’s total chaos. We got there around 15:00 and found it extremely overcrowded, with no available spots and no staff willing or able to help. To make things worse, my wife had an unpleasant exchange with a waitress who didn’t speak English and was quite rude. That was enough for us to leave and look elsewhere — thankfully! Just nearby, we discovered Restaurante Pausau, which turned out to be a hidden gem: better views, more reasonable prices, and most importantly, much friendlier service. Highly recommend skipping this place and heading straight to Pausau instead.

The food is fantastic, the service seems to be overwhelmed by very long shifts which don't allow then to be very well organised, which is a shame. We ended up eating by the sun without a parasol and after waiting more than half an hour at the queue. We love the anchovies and salad. Be aware that they close the kitchen at 16:00 they don't say anything about it, until you are in the queue, waiting for long, and you might hear from the apparent boss: we don't have any for anybody after this point. Bad manners that could be fixed if all is better structured. We were there on a Wednesday.

Very bad! The calamares was burnt, the fish didn’t look/tasted fresh… the prices are high and the service was even worse. I really don’t recommend this place. The only good thing there is the view.

Really nice place, we came in lunch time (15h) whitch is very busy time but even tho we didnt have reservation we sitted on bar table and ordered some “raciones”( plates to share). Food was extraordinary and super delicous, we took Croquetas de Chachón en tinta and Pulpo a la Gallega. Serving was fast and if you dont speak Spanish staff may seem rude but they are just efficient and actually lovely 😁

Great seafood restaurant recommended by and full of locals in the know, only 2km from centre of Santander yet overlooking the sea. Only 6 people when I arrived and 40 mins later it was full.

Very nice experience and definitely worth it to visit when travelling through Santander. We ordered some monkfish and the bacalao salad (the 1/2 portion is already pretty big!) which were absolutely delicious, the staff were friendly and helpful and made the atmosphere feel welcoming. Will come again!!! ❤️

We decided to go to "Las Olas" because we like seafood, it was nearby our hotel and the reviews were good. The scenery was nice; the staff didn't speak english but we managed to order what we liked. The scallops were exceptional; only this starter is worth eating to this restaurant. We like seafood and understand the taste and I can say that I haven't eaten such a tasty dish elsewhere; paella was very good as well. The quality/price ratio in this restaurant is really very good.

The food was excellent and the service forthcoming. Great atmosphere at lunch time. Great tables upstairs by the window. However, could do with air conditioning boost. They charge for bread but all other are well priced. Great wine for €11 per bottle.

Incredible meal, I was there by myself and was very grateful to all staff for a wonderful experience. A special thanks to my principal waiter who asked me if I’d prefer Spanish or English, and didn’t just assume! They were also able to serve some places as ‘half portions’ so I benefited from the ability to try lots of different little things. My server was happy to give me his recommendations which was helpful for navigating the menu as everything sounded tasty. My favourite was definitely the cauliflower skewer which was full of amazing flavours. I’d been drawn to them because of their natural wines and they also had a great selection of these with knowledgeable staff.

This was truly a wonderful experience, and not just for the food, which was exceptional, but for the service and the atmosphere of the venue. It's a sort of mix between wine cellar and post-industrial, tastefully adorned with lights and arts and pillows. Seriously, good stuff, they deserve every penny we paid for.

The food was excellent - we had an incredible anchovy pintxo, a beautiful tomato salad, a tuna tartare and a chocolate dessert. We enjoyed all of it. However the service was really disappointing - the waitress was incredibly rude and went out of her way to make us feel embarrassed when we spoke Spanish. I have never experienced such poor service in a restaurant of this calibre. We didn’t let it ruin the experience but it could have been so much better.

The food was good, interesting menu, but I was charged for a bottle of wine instead of a glass and no one even said sorry, the lady was a bit irritated when I pointed at this mistake, it looked like it was intentional

A fantastic gem hidden in a slightly off location. 5.5 for the food. Not even the most expensive option in the area. Thoughtful menu. The rissoto style dish was unique and extraordinary. The seafood ravioli was spectacular. The tiramisu style dessert was special also.

Ovwrrated in my humble opinion. Food was a little bland. I did enjoy my cannelloni with shrimp and veggies. The chocolate truffle for dessert was rich and nice. Rest of the food was really average. Terrible wine paring imo.

Dinner for 3 - enjoyed each dish. The Tosta with queso picon (blue cheese) & anchovies was stand out. Relaxing vibe ordering a few dishes at a time until we were satiated. Would dine here again.

Stumbled on this place by accident. We were drawn in by the decor, authentic vibe and menu. However as great as it looked from the outside it was terrible. There was no organisation and people were fighting for tables. There was only one waiter and one barman for all the tables. Waiter offered me English menus then didn’t bring them or even take our order for 20 minutes. They didn’t have the croquet as I wanted, so we order three tapas only two arrived. When we asked for second round of drinks they didn’t arrive. After chasing they brought one drink and had to go the bar and demand the second. Getting the bill took another 40 minutes. The food when it arrived though presented well was average at best. Poor waiter was really nice but they needed about 3 or 4 more staff. The place has potential to be really good but was a big key down. Only plus was the price was amazing 2 euro for a glass of wine.

What an amazing and cute tapas bar. I strongly recommend anyone paying a visit. There are many outside tables, the vibe is great, the food is AMAZING, the service is 10 out 10. The lovely waiters, the kitchen and the barman will give you their best to make sure you have a great experience. You will be shocked by how fresh everything is, you can tell by the look of it. I recommend you trying the squid and the prawns with garlic butter.

Very friendly staff. Food was authentic and tasted very good. We sat outside and both times chatted with couples on other tables. The kitchen opens at 7.30 pm for cooked meals but you can get hot and cold snacks on bread before that, have a look at what is on display at the counter. This is in a pedestrian street. The Cantabrian stew was really good!

My family and I had lunch here in June 2022. This is a nice place to stop for a quick drink with a pincho or to stay longer and sample a good variety of tapas. Rabas were absolutely delicious, and I did enjoy the selection of oysters and local cheese. Fair prices for the quality and size of portions. The staff are very friendly and helpful - they kindly allowed us to change table twice (first outdoors, then indoors as it was chilly for our 3 years old). Absolutely recommend

Enjoyed a last meal before a flight out, which put us in the position of searching for dinner at 1900 in a Spanish city. Here the kitchen was open and the food proved to be very good. Garlic prawns, patstas, pulpo, croquettes and a steak all well prepared from the tiny kitchen.

This was hands down by best meal in Santander and I loved everything about this restaurant. The atmosphere was fantastic, and they managed to squeeze us in at the bar even though it was packed. All the people that served us were friendly and helpful, and the food was incredible. We ordered rabas, arroz negro and a couple of desserts and everything was SO good. If you want an authentic experience and genuine great Spanish food, go here.

This place is simple, rustic and the food is super tasty. Waiters are nice and they can give you really good suggestions. If you want to eat "paella" you have to reserve it one day before. But trust me, the octopus is terrific 🔥

A wonderfully different dining experience in Santander. Each course was an excellent homage on a different cuisine Turkey (humus) Peru (ceviche) Japan (maki) and Mexico (tacos). Each dish easily recognizable, but artfully reinterpreted.

FUSION CUISINE AT ITS BEST. Daría creatively combines influences from all around the world, such as Spanish, French, Japanese and Peruvian. The menu is eclectic but coherent. Everything we ordered was outstanding. My personal favorite was the "huevo frito crujiente": a poached egg, breaded and fried, then served with a truffle parmentier and a mushroom duxelle. The presentation of the dishes is beautiful, as is the restaurant's interior design. Expect to spend around €35 per person. Daría is doubtless one of the best restaurants in Santander.

We had heard great things about Daria, which is why we chose to have lunch there. There were two of us, and we ordered four plates along with a profiterole for dessert. I have to admit, the profiterole was absolutely delicious! The ravioli we ordered it was served with just one piece and tiny which felt rather stingy considering the price I found the service at the restaurant to be unfriendly(female staff) While I don’t expect a personal friendship with the staff, I would appreciate a professional and courteous attitude without unrelated "personal stories."

A unique culinary experience. It’s truly a fusion between local good and asian food. The decoration is simple but curated to the detail. Even the utensils are a fusion. Here are some pics. I would truly recommend the ceviche and the rice. I know I will think about this plates 🤍

I had my first ever Chorrus con chocolate. I loved it. The staff is good and but you need to tell them sometimes that you need separate plates serving if you are more people. It's rushy most of the time. Prices are reasonable.

We went last night and shared one pizza between two of us. It was delicious. Plus 3 glasses of wine. All very reasonably priced. Casual atmosphere.

Although the restaurant is small they made good use of the space and the design, which made it feel warm and cosy. The service was great and the pizzas were tasty, but there was nothing special about them. I’d give the pizzas a 3/5 but the service and space made it a 4/5.

A RIP OFF. We had already been at this place a few days before and had ordered 2 Negronis as we did tonight. The waiter brought us the 2 drinks and then I saw that my glass was broken and the negroni was pouring out of the glass. I told the waiter that I wanted a new glass and expecting a new drink, too. Only when I told him that I wanted a new drink, he made one. When I ordered the bill the drinks cost us 20.60 Euros. I told the waiter that a few days ago the drinks had cost 16 Euros. He told me his colleague might have made a mistake a few days ago and that the negronis were special cocktails. They made a lousy job and I as customer has to pay for their mistake. I call this a rip off and would have expected a more customer friendly approach. I cannot recommend this place and will not go there again, that is for sure.

We had a wonderful lunch with oysters, croquettes de gamba and for the mains seabarsh and tarbot. Of course with a good glass of white Rioja. Loved it.

Good location but pricey. Young waiter was friendly but older waiter was not and made to feel uncomfortable ordering just drinks. Would not go back!

Lovely restaurant with a modern interpretation of traditional northern Spanish food. The tuna and the artichokes were amazing. Don’t miss the flan de huevo with caramel desert. Probably the best in Spain. Will be back definitely.

Loved the place, the restaurant and the food. To me it was particularly special the softness of the textures and that no flavours were too strong or unbalanced. Tried all the classics from the menu including the ensaladilla, croquetas, pan pasiego and the Flan the Alex. Special place not to miss if you are a foodie.

Soooo good, really enjoyed our visit. The Callos was a bit much (not really for me), but we loved the fish and the entrées (tuna and burratta).

Had my spoken Spanish 🇪🇸 been better, Vermuteria Solórzano would’ve been even more enjoyable! Obviously a very popular destination from the outset. Decent glasses of Mahou accompanied by olives in a slightly spicy oil/marinade. Mitada Rabas & patatas bravas were everything I hoped they’d be! Dry Vermouth was a new thing for this ‘dyed in the wool Yorkshireman’ & very pleasant it was too - sweet even though it was ‘dry’ & @ 15% it wasn’t going to kill me. Nice big ice cubes to make it cold. Solôrzano was so good that I went back on my second day in Santander!

I recently dined in. The fried squid was excellent—crispy, tender, and served hot and fast. The staff were friendly and even engaged me in conversation since I was dining alone. Although I had a small issue with my credit card payment, they handled it kindly. Despite being a vermuteria, most clients weren't having vermut. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I would recommend it.

Great service, great food, great vibe. Service was quick & friendly, the croquetas de jamon & Huevos con patatas y paletilla were delicious. We stopped in for a small bite & Vermut and were very happy with what we found!

Incredible vermouth selection. Had gildas and some huge mussels in a vermouth sauce - so good. Was a tuesday evening and was relatively quiet, maybe 40% full so not as vibin as I imagine it gets on weekends.

As a seasoned traveller that spends many weekends across countries in Europe this is the worst lunch I have ever had in a restaurant. The service was slow and took over 45 minutes to receive our first starter. I ordered a prime cut of steak - only to receive a small piece that was half gristle. For someone passing through Santander I recommend not visiting this place.

Very good place to eat a good meat, even though was a bit too raw for the medium that we asked. The mushrooms are very good. The place is very traditional but was full and the noise was too much we couldn't almost talk. The staff was friendly and very nice.

While they lack on the inside seating they make up for it with plenty of outdoor dining drinking and atmosphere. The food is clean and full of natural flavor. Meat, fish and veggies are a brief description. But if you came for the meat, you will be very happy when they serve your dish rare with the side of hot stone so you can sear it to your liking! 5 stars 🤩

Perfection in grilled meats! I’m dining solo and although the menu does not offer a mixed grill for one, only for two, they did it for me anyway and it was spectacular! I also asked for a tomato salad.. cause health.. and they did it, super open, very cool, love this place.. and yummy house wine by the way! Thank you!

Absolutely delicious food in a cozy but stylish neighbourhood restaurant. Every dish was excellent. The anchovies, the ceviche, the lemon tart… everything was inventive and really well prepared. Super relaxed, friendly service. A very affordable but good wine list. Definitely recommend this place!

A lovely restaurant with a truly unique menu. We had several great appetizers including a creative sardine on rice made to look like sushi, crayfish tempura, delicious croquettes made with a great French cheese, and an excellent grilled steak with potato purée. And for dessert, basil sorbet! It is small, brightly lit and modern decor. Highly recommend for a great “foodie” experience and something totally different in Santander.

Went there with 2 girlfriends, one of them pregnant. The waiter attended us very fast and quickly told her all the dishes she could or couldn't eat from the menu + outside of the menu. We ended up ordering rabas de pulpo (tasty but a bit dry), some funny dumplings (delicious!) and meat. The meat was medium raw (just like we like it), however the pregnant friend had to ask them to fry it a bit more. They brought it back all fancy, on a new plate, with a new decoration. A nice detail! For dessert we had a chocolate mousse - one of the best we ever had! Definitely recommend this place. | Prices very adequate. Not too fancy, not too casual. All in all a great experience.

Lovely place and service. Breakfast was the best I’ve had in Spain, lots of fresh and yummy combinations. They also had almond milk for my mocacchino.

If you want to go eat here as a tourist, you need to prepare good Spanish. One star down because no one spoke English and also no English menu. Although they can explain the Daily menu to you, but in Spanish. The food was very good tho, 10/10 - even a water was good and I had my best cappucino there! We really enjoyed it.

A good brunch in Cantabria is hard to come by but I think I have found a new home! Salvage offer great coffee, delicious brunch options and great egg options! The atmosphere is casual yet cool! Highly recommend for a Sunday brunch post a walk or cycle around Santander. #brunch #santander

The place is very cute. It might be good for breakfast or a quick coffee, but for dinner… where to begin? We left truly disappointed. From the start, the service from the manager was appalling: brusque, dismissive, and seemingly irritated at having to answer basic questions. The restaurant also enforces odd, irrational rules about the menu, including not allowing diners to share dishes. I am paying for my meal, so why shouldn’t my partner be able to taste it? As for the food, it was equally poor. I have never had a worse shakshuka in my life; it tasted as though it had been made with ketchup. The service was painfully slow, and portion sizes varied wildly between diners, making the whole experience even more frustrating.

Restaurant in a good area of the city for shopping and eating. You get a set menu for a very reasonable 16€ with more modern-mixed food, which is good to get out of all the traditional cantabric food. Great service and ambience. Recommend it for lunch.

Good vegan food with great prices. The staff were nice, maybe blunt (but not mean like the other comments). I especially enjoyed the freshly squeezed orange juice. Wifi & restrooms available. I didn’t like seeing the cooks preparing my food whilst rubbing their eyes.

Overpriced food for what it is, they offer salads but no lettuce, which is… a choice. They offer alcohol as part of the fixed menu but no soft drinks. Another choice. But for the hyped decor and menu, they seem to not be able to afford a simple lid for the toilet.

The food is exceptional. We loved the quesadillas but the enmoladas were quite something - savoury but sweet, and also a bit spicy. Definitely something worth trying. The service can be improved. One of the plates was a bit cracked and the waiter didn’t bring us cutlery until after we finished the first plate. But, the food definitely made this a positive experience overall.

I’ve been to this restaurant a few times with my husband and we really enjoy the food and drinks. The owner is always front of house chatting to diners and his wife mans the kitchen. The food tastes great and authentic.

The food was tasty and the staff very nice. We were 2 people and ordered one of the "big plates" to share, 1 portion of tacos (2 pcs) and 1 enchilada and payed 41 euros. The price would be great if the food quantity was higher. Everything felt a bit small and not justifying totally the price, thus the 4 stars.

I did not like the main course, neither did my husband. First i was surprised, that cod fish is just one small piece for 20 eur, but then i was happy, because it was almost not eatable. I was very hungry, otherwise i would complain or better go. His dish was chicken, which was like they took all the chicken and left just wings and small part of the leg. This part of menu is seriously overpriced. Wine was ok, and cheesecake was truly amazing, although not in a classic way. Coffee is also very good.

Delicious food and we were treated very nice. The waitress recommended different dishes and they were all very good. They even have vegetables which is not so common in typical spanish restaurant. Most awesome was the dessert. We were just so happy after it.

We had a wonderful meal at Machinero. The ground floor is the bar and the restaurant is upstairs. We ordered the scallops, shrimp in sauce, and the tempura vegetables. All were outstanding. Highly recommend Machinero

A quaint little cafe with a lot of charm, excellent service and delicious, healthy food. It is tucked away off the main streets which means it’s not crowded or super touristy and the food is unique. They really take their coffee and their food very seriously and we will definitely be back!

In my first visit I was pleasantly surprised by the fantastic coffee this café offers. Later I could tell in addition that the staff is extremely welcoming and attentive. The delicious coffee always comes with a piece of cake. The place also has a menu card with dished and small plates. I made a visit to this place every time I passed by to delight myself with a cup of coffee. At my last day, the staff was so friendly to keep my suitcase during my last hours before heading to the airport and they packed my dinner to go.

Enjoyed delicious ice cream and service several times. But the last time was simply the horror of the service sector. A plump African-American woman with red pigtails put the ice cream not in the cone, but on it. The whole pile was barely holding on, at my request for a paper cup to insure its sloppy work. The saleswoman rolled her eyes and exclaimed that she didn't understand English. Her colleague translated her and I had to pay 25 cents per cup. I bought it for nothing at all, because it was constantly falling and flowing and there was no satisfaction anymore. I have no complaints about the ice cream itself, it is delicious. Such crooked and not customer-oriented people should not work in the service sector

I was expecting a lot because of the queue and our friend in London recommended it, but besides the enormous portions, I was underwhelmed, the flavour selection was OK but nothing I would call innovative, we had the vanilla/coffee/whisky and the cheesecake flavours.

A Michelin recommended restaurant, that why we went there. The stuff is very nice, but they have a lot to improve. All the bread crumbs was on the table from the beginning until the end, there in not so many deserts or vegetarian options. Also not so cheap and the dishes kind of small (but tasty)

Both food and service get a 5/5. The desserts are all delicious and made with love by the owner and they’re all really affordable. We were also given some chocolate covered strawberries to go with our dessert. The owner is a very lovely person and is so friendly that everyone who comes becomes a regular

The ambiance is really lovely, rustic, authentic, insta worthy. The lady, hostess is very attentive and is at your service. She doesn't speak english however, but we could still communicate the order. She makes everything fresh and the deserts are daily to what there is available at that moment. I couldn't taste anything else than the deserts as all was sold out so can't really rate the food. The carrot cake was interesting but a. It heavy for my liking.

Very nice place, for over 40 kinds of quality tea for good price, teashops are not very common in Spain in our experience otherwise. You can have breakfast, brunch (spanish merienda), cake, yoghurt, juice and cofeee too. On one wall is space for short term exhibition paintings, little library, flowers everywhere. The owner created comfortable, friendly and cultured lil oasis.

I’ve been to many good restaurants and this place is a total gem. I had sopa de pescado, and it was so impressive that I had to try other menu, and the fried squid was also 💯 The seafood quality is so fresh (literally the owner brings live seafood after every order lol) For some reasons Ive waited the queue and it was definitely worth it!!!!

We have been for lunch on a Saturday in June 2022. The variety and quality of the seafood is great, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. However, be prepared to spend quite a lot especially if you take tapas of specialities that are sold by price, rather than by portion.

Pretty bad service, no explanation that a portion is standard for two even though i mentioned only I order, not feeling welcome, the waitress was super straight face, prices are very high for the quality of food, super small bathroom barely could use it and in the end I ve been served the bill without asking for it, right after I finished my dish, basically felt kicked out. The food was delicious, really enjoyable for all seafood lovers and the service was good. The only issue is the second floor, is not very accessible and you have to beware with the high of the ceiling or you can hurt your head on your way up.

Fantastic fresh seafood. The restaurant has a charming old school atmosphere. The staff was quite busy therefore the service and waiting time was average. The fried squid (calamari) is a real treat. I can recommend that.

We've never met with such a disrespectful treatment as of this given by the female waitress dressed in black wearing a scarf on her head. Waiting tables is not about reacting by "qué??" and an irritated face when we asked in English for water, wine or check, it's not about ignoring the request to take away an empty dish to have some more space or to grab unfinished salad to serve another dish ordering, not asking or recommending, not to touch the hot pan- as we managed to understand Spanish. It's hard to believe the waitress didn't know a single word in other languages used commonly in restaurants or that she didn't even try to communicate with us. If so, please note that the place serves only locals. Comparing the amount of wine by glass we were served with the amount for a local can only support our negative opinion. All in all, the food was just ok, but the woman made us feel so unwelcomed that we left the place and will never be back.

Great, friendly stuff and authentic old school atmosphere. They let us in before the lunch has started, we got wine and pinchos at the bar and a soup was served for all early birds for free. We went there two times and had seefood soup, shrimps and spider crab. I’m not that big expert for seafood and fish but everything felt just right there and I really enjoyed both meals
