I usually don't leave reviews but I have to make an exception for Mamie Fado. This restaurant is so good don't hesitate to visit if in the area. We have only a little French and our waiter very kindly translated and gave recommendations in English. The food is really delicious with so much flavour and the cocktails are very good too. We didn't feel like we were being rushed to leave which was great as the view is amazing. Well done to all the staff.

No respect whatsoever to the neighbourhood. I stayed for a week in the hotel opposite this bar and every single day for a week the bar would have loud music and hordes of drunken students shouting outside until 2 am with no regard whatsoever to the fact that it is in an area literally called centre de congres. It’s one thing having loud raves over the weekend or on occasions but every single day it becomes a nuisance which, France being France, isn’t even something you can report to the police. Trust me, I tried.

I went to this Creperie. This was the best Creperie I ever visited so far. Their service is great and faster. The ambiance is very lovely. All the furniture and decor are very classy. The prices are affordable too. I had La Rilloudè, La Carachoc and Cidre la glacè. It was perfect and delicious. I'll definitely recommend this place to everyone who is visiting Angers. You will have to book in advance because it's quite busy all the times.

Cute small authentic restaurant near château in Angers. We called at 6:45pm and made 7:30pm reservation. The person on the phone spoke a small amount of english but was very helpful. The food was spectacular. We had pate and escargot for apps then lamb, steak and chicken main courses and they were all delicious. The service was great. Our server made wine recommendations and answered all of our questions. Her slight english and our slight french worked fine with our communications. Highly recommend it.

On an insanely packed night during wine fair weekend in Angers, L’Ardoise dished up exquisitely executed, traditional dishes (oysters, two different terrines, lièvre royale, cote de boeuf, roasted potatoes-carrots-girolles), a really fun wine list and, most notably given the madness, attentive service and warm hospitality. The menu was different from its normal one apparently—a smart move in anticipation of the hungry and thirsty wine-industry hordes—but I have 100% confidence in and would happily come back for the regular, more seasonal menu. Truly an impressive and fun place and staff!

I spotted this plaque outside the gallery. I loved the beautiful glass roof and you can see art up close.

Apart from conveniently located close to the train station, many other spots like museum and castle are nearby as well. One can plan the visit of the gallery even if they have couple of free hours in between their trip! Beautiful and detailed sculptures displayed throughout the gallery. Also, few ancient artifacts are kept on display. There's also a viewing point on the mezannine floor where one can sit with pencil and paper and can draw their observance if they like. I'm not sure about one thing though- wheelchair accessibility (though the mezzanine floor has no wheelchair accessibility!). Big and spacious design of the gallery makes it quite comfortable to spend couple of hours inside (There's no restroom though! 😅). All in all, a great experience and would definitely suggest this place to anyone interested in arts and history.

No water offered and at this point couldn't be bothered to ask. 2 coffees ok but 50€ that could have been put to better use. Server pleasant but that's it!! Won't go again!!

My wife had Entrecote steak, overcooked and rubbery, I had the Le Burger Estival. I have never had to eat a burger with knife and fork due to the fact it fell out/apart when I picked it up. I also think we had a new waiter who order at least 3 things incorrectly. Never mind. Will read more reviews in the future as they all said food was OK or poor.
